Speaker 300:01:02

That's weird, right?

Speaker 400:01:03

So we got a lot of action from the weekend still that we could recap. Let's bring Juju aboard. Juju, there's got to be some jokers from over the weekend that we haven't mentioned yet. What do you got for us?

JuJu Gotti00:01:14

Yes, sir, man. Joker of the weekend number 1: the referee who shall remain nameless in the ECU game, who injured an ECU player by sliding and falling into his leg. Reports is that the brother's leg is possibly broken. We couldn't play it for rights purposes, but you, sir, get the joker nonetheless.

Speaker 400:01:42

That's terrible.

JuJu Gotti00:01:43

Second joker.

Dan Le Batard00:01:44

Broke it.

JuJu Gotti00:01:44

Right. That's what I'm saying.

Dan Le Batard00:01:47

Broke his leg. It doesn't just slid in like he was breaking up a double play. We played it anyway, even though we don't have the rights to it.

Speaker 400:01:53

Why'd you do that?

Dan Le Batard00:01:53

I don't know why we did that. We're not supposed to do that.

Speaker 600:01:55

I got written consent. I applied for it.

JuJu Gotti00:01:58

There we go.

Speaker 600:01:59

I heard the thing and I was like, all right, let me ask. They said yes. Express written consent.

JuJu Gotti00:02:04

Salute goes to you. Yes, sir.

Speaker 400:02:07

So we did one of those things. You always Juju, you know what I'm talking about, right? Where you get the warning on the screen that goes, "Unless you have expressed written consent." We got the expressed written consent.

Speaker 600:02:16

Got it expressed inside of 24 Hours.

Speaker 400:02:17

I don't know anybody ever does that.

Dan Le Batard00:02:19

But then let's play it again. Can we play it again, or we can only play it once?

Speaker 600:02:22

No, we only play it once.

Dan Le Batard00:02:22

Okay, one play. Okay, because the ref just slid it. It was like he was breaking up a double play.

JuJu Gotti00:02:29

Right. Instead, he broke up her brother's leg.

Speaker 400:02:31

A double play in the '90s.

JuJu Gotti00:02:33

Second joker. It's like the second joker of the weekend talked a lot of smack throughout the week. I'm talking about a lot of smack. Had zero tackles, zero sacks.

Dan Le Batard00:02:50

Character.

JuJu Gotti00:02:50

Shared verse. Oh my God. Sir, you get this award. Back to you, Dana.

Speaker 400:02:57

That trade has been a dud for both teams. Like Cleveland, yeah, Cleveland's at least good, I guess. They're five and three.

Speaker 600:03:04

They've been the picks from it too.

Speaker 400:03:06

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 600:03:06

So far they've won it.

Speaker 400:03:07

But the players, they're both good players who have contributed nothing to their teams. Miles Garrett and Jared Verse. Anyway, Juju, you have a top five for us here today?

JuJu Gotti00:03:19

Yes, sir, man. Earlier in the show, you sparked my brain. You was like, "Damn, I think Lamar Jackson has played his last snap for the Ravens." And I'm like, "Damn, big bro might be right." So it made me think, who else is on the last damn leg and might not even know it? So I got a top five people who is over with and they don't even damn know it yet in football. Number five, Green Bay Packers kicker Trey Smack is over with.

I'm sorry, brother. I know they ain't said it to you just yet, but trust me, it is over with for you, big brother.

Speaker 400:03:59

Wow.

JuJu Gotti00:04:00

Moving on to number four. We already know this one. Mike McDaniel.

Speaker 400:04:06

That's like a pterodactyl.

JuJu Gotti00:04:09

I don't give a damn what John Harbor is saying or Jim Harbor is saying. Sir, you need to be in the classifieds looking up your next position. Salute. Number three.

Dan Le Batard00:04:19

Are we still using the classifieds? Put it on the poll at Le Batard Show. Are we still looking at the classifieds to find our next job?

Speaker 400:04:26

You know, I know Mike McDaniel obviously, clearly has not done a good job. They're off instincts. But what is it Mike McDaniel's fault when Justin Herbert throws it to a guy surrounded by three defenders and they intercept? How is that Mike McDaniel's fault?

JuJu Gotti00:04:41

You're right about that. Unfortunately, there's only I feel like he's going to be the scapegoat and not the beautiful quarterback. But number three, the person who you're already out, sir. You've been out for so long. Them folks just embarrassed themselves and then realized it. HarrisonButkicker.com is over. It's over with for you, bro. You can put on your suit after the game and all that if you want to. It's over with, brother. And your politics suck ass. Salute. Number two, Mike Ryan was right.

I know he don't want to be right. I know he's trying to be like, "Oh, they got another loss of hair." Ohio State is over with. Mike Ryan was right in all of this.

Dan Le Batard00:05:23

No, no, he's not.

Speaker 400:05:24

He called y'all out.

Dan Le Batard00:05:25

Wait, is he right? He keeps saying that Ohio State's still going to get into the playoffs. He just said it last segment.

Speaker 600:05:30

It's going to be hard to keep a three-loss Ohio State out of the playoff if they have San coming back. I do think so, but what I was right about was my preseason prediction. Now, I picked like I could have picked two other teams, but I said, "If you're looking at a preseason top 10 that doesn't make the CFP, I'm looking at Ohio State." I got lucky on this one.

JuJu Gotti00:05:49

Right. He said, and I quote, "You lost a bajillion guys." And guess what? A backup quarterback was one of them. I think you're going to lose four games. More than three. I think you're going to lose four games this year. Neither here nor there. Number two, or was that number two? That was number two. The number one person is over with, and he don't even know it, smiling in the post-conference. I don't know what you're doing. Big brother, Aaron Glenn. Sir, it is a wrap.

I don't give a damn if you screen off 12 more wins in the season. You're done, sir.

Speaker 400:06:25

You don't think he knows it? I feel like he might know.

Speaker 600:06:27

I do. I think he knows, and I think that's why he's playing to the camera the way he is.

Dan Le Batard00:06:30

They're five and twenty in their 25 games.

Speaker 600:06:33

Of course he knows it.

Speaker 400:06:34

He might know.

Speaker 600:06:34

Yeah.

Speaker 400:06:35

Juju.

JuJu Gotti00:06:36

His interviews are goofy.

Speaker 400:06:37

Juju, did we leave anything out from the show today? We forget anything?

JuJu Gotti00:06:41

Yes, sir, man. Y'all definitely caught up at the end because y'all bought up them gators against the Bulldogs. I was going to bring that up for sure, but there's a reason this hood is up today. When the hood is up, there's sad business to handle. The Golden State Valkyrie are your WNBA champions.

Dan Le Batard00:06:58

Yeah, I saw it. So close. So close. How are you doing with all that?

JuJu Gotti00:07:04

It was so sad. I just feel like no matter what, the game seven is going to hurt on the other end. But when Gaby Williams turns into Gaby Wardell Williams, there's nothing we could do. She was hitting shot after shot, three-pointer in mouths, outside of mouths. Also, the aggression from our team just wasn't necessarily where it should be on game seven. I thought that Jordan Canada came out ready for war, but when you're the point guard, you try to get other people involved. And I think she tried to get a little too many people involved when she had the dog inside of her.

And we ultimately went down, and it's to the Valkyries. So I'm not necessarily mad. It's not the fever, or it's not the liberty. It's not nobody crazy, but at the same time, it hurts, man. Tiffany Hayes, my favorite player in the history of the WNBA, congratulations. We'll get you next time.

Speaker 400:07:57

Very, very tough. That one's going to sting a lot.

Dan Le Batard00:07:59

I'm sorry, Juju.

Speaker 400:08:00

Yeah, that's hard.

JuJu Gotti00:08:01

Yeah. It's okay, man.

Speaker 400:08:03

How about some post-show awards here, Juju? Let's have something positive here.

JuJu Gotti00:08:07

Yes, sir, man. First and foremost, I got to give the GOAT award to my brother, Amin El Hassan.

Speaker 600:08:14

That was a good shave. That was a good shave right there.

Dan Le Batard00:08:16

Look clean.

JuJu Gotti00:08:17

Yeah. I was like, "That's Kenny Powers." I don't know who thought he was Rick James. I saw Kenny Powers. You did. And sadly, I like to give the Bully Award. Tried to bully the answers out of my boy, Ernie Johnson, to Dan Le Batard.

Speaker 600:08:33

Yeah, good job.

JuJu Gotti00:08:34

Luckily, Ernie was not going for your BS. Not at all. Let's do this ground.

Speaker 600:08:39

He kind of gave the game away, though. I know he's done some interviews, said that he's definitely going to do March Madness, but he said, "I'm going to do it with Chuck the next two years." Right into that.

Speaker 400:08:52

Dan, you got some time for yourself?

Dan Le Batard00:08:54

I was trying to make the interview better. I was trying to get some answers. That's my job.

Speaker 400:08:57

Predecessor?

Dan Le Batard00:08:58

All right. I can't be the failure in that interview when you did what you did.

Speaker 700:09:03

It was a quality job.

Dan Le Batard00:09:05

Predecessor.

Speaker 700:09:05

Each session's exit. We nailed it.

Dan Le Batard00:09:08

Let's update the polls, Juju, before we get to Dave Dameshek and his live Football America coming up next.

JuJu Gotti00:09:16

Oh, yeah. Is it possible to be minus 11 in one minute of an NBA game? 59% of the audience says no. And last poll, have you seen Grease 2? 78% of the audience say no, and those are your polls.

Dan Le Batard00:09:37

Thank you, Juju.

JuJu Gotti00:09:38

Bye-bye.
