Good morning, girlies, it's The Toast. It's Jax and Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show, the fast 5 things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, it's The Toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Tuesday. Hope everybody had an amazing Monday.
We did.
As amazing as it could be.
Yeah, I had a great Monday. Productive, we got a little Mahjong.
Did I have an amazing Monday? No. But I'm just like, what happened to me yesterday?
You had lunch.
I did. Oh, I did. I had a nice lunch.
Yeah, it sounded nice. It was good.
Um, I didn't get my nap in, which is always devastating, but you know what we're looking like today? Nap? No, me and you.
Twins?
The few, the proud, the Marines. Yeah. 'Cause we're both the Navy.
We are the Navy.
We didn't even coordinate. Maybe— No, we didn't. Yesterday we wore pink, yesterday we wore blue. It's giving gender reveal.
It's giving simpatico. Like, with just the vibes are the same. Like, I knew yesterday, fun and flirty. Today I just like wanted to be a little cozier, casual, running around energy.
Actually, I made a very intentional choice with my shirt today. I'm obviously wearing Taylor Swift merch. I just feel like We've so many clips go viral. Like, Taylor is chronically online. Like, she's maybe seen a clip of ours and I'm not wearing her merch. Like, maybe she doesn't know.
Is that your new strategy? Merch every day?
Like, of people I want to get attention from. Like, tomorrow, Joe Manganiello t-shirt, you know what I mean?
No, I don't think you want his attention.
No, you guys know I'm like so off of him. Um, and he has been replaced by my celebrity crush,
Joe Jonas.
Yeah, he's like back on.
Exclusively Joes.
John, Joe, John Mayer.
A lot of Joes.
Yeah, but John Mayer was my celebrity crush for like a decade. Yay! It's kind of coming back.
But now you're in your Joe era.
I'm in my Joe era. Um, and we need to start wearing more merch, letting people know who we're fans of. Like,
well, I'm fans of Rowback. Well, I'm a fan of Turdbag,
of
course.
Um, but when you can't get—
but my Turdbag mock neck was dirty, so I had to wear my Rowback one.
When you think about how far and wide our clips go, I don't feel like we're utilizing our wardrobe enough.
Like yesterday I wore Fifi, so of course the Acquireds know I'm a fan, but they already know.
Exactly. Like, you just— especially with TikTok, I know you don't like engage, but So many celebrities are on there and they just scroll. They like talk about how much they scroll. So it's like we could be on their feeds, Jac.
Okay. Okay. I'll think about that.
Yeah. Next time you put an outfit together.
Yeah. Like maybe my Bruno Mars concert t-shirt.
That's the other thing. I don't really have like a lot of merchandise.
I don't— I have a lot. I, whenever I go to a concert, I like to buy one thing to remember the fact that I went to that concert.
Yeah. You know, when I buy it, it just like mysteriously disappears. I have a Billy Joel shirt. I don't feel like he's scrolling TikTok. Mm-hmm. You know, I've got Taylor merch and I've got Luke merch and I just feel like Luke knows how I feel about him. Luke.
Couldn't really know more.
I need to get some Joe Jonas merch.
Jonas Brothers.
Just like get his attention. Maybe a low-cut V-neck tee.
Yeah.
Hey Joe, how you— oh, you know what I did last night? I watched football. We need to get back in our football era.
We do.
Like, I felt like I totally forgot that it was football, like, and I forgot that I was a 49ers fan. And let me tell you, it was such a great time to be a 49ers fan. They're literally so good. I actually felt bad watching the game because they were like beating the other team so badly. And they're undefeated. And I think there's only one other team undefeated in the league. Don't quote me on this. I think the Chiefs are undefeated. And I feel like, I've watched one game so I can make a prediction. And this is my official, it's gonna be the Chiefs-Niners again.
I love that.
Yeah, especially like, I don't think that the Eagles were gonna win this year. But Jalen Hurts is out. So much drama at—
oh, are we? So much drama at Successful Savings.
So much drama at Successful Savings. So I really feel like it might be the Niners' year. And I was like, okay, maybe I would go even though like I'll probably not be able to. It's in LA. Like, I'm not going to that.
It's in LA? Wasn't it just in LA?
You know, I thought the same thing.
No, they— LA just played.
Is that SoFi? I don't know. I don't—
That's surprising. I feel like it was just there.
LXV or whatever.
Yeah, like the year Harry was born. Yeah. Interesting. Um, last night I had an interesting experience that I think you'll really appreciate. So I've been just doing some online shopping, as I do.
That's so unlike you.
As I do. And I was actually going to return something, shockingly.
That's so unlike you. That's the surprising part.
I've been buying like bunch of like ceramics and stuff. And one thing I got like was really too big and it was still like in the box, in the packaging. So I, easy, I didn't have to worry about how am I gonna ship it back? So I was like, you know, I'm gonna do the responsible thing and I'm gonna return it. And I went to the website to fill out the return form and they were like, you know, it's kind of a hassle to return. They were, they had this like automated policy. They were like, would you just want like a partial refund and you can keep the item because it's like more sustainable for you to not send this back.
Name the website first of all.
I'm not, I'll tell you, but I don't wanna put them on blast because then people will start like ordering stuff. Taking advantage. And I don't want people to take advantage. Cuz yeah, it makes sense. Like it is a hassle for them to restock and it's not like— So bad for the environment. Expensive thing. So I bought the thing for $160. They offered me $40 to keep it. I—
Wait, they offered you, so like you would've ended up paying $120 for the item?
Yes.
It's not an amazing offer.
It's not an amazing offer. I considered it, but I really did not need this ice bucket and I wanted, like, I went through with the refund, but I thought that was really interesting because yeah, like Sometimes refunds cost more than they're worth.
1,000%. And
I appreciate stores like having a policy such as that.
But for me, when it comes to online shopping, the returning of the item is obviously about getting my money back, but it's getting the shit outta my house. Yeah. Like, cuz I'm a sweeper, I want the boxes out. So it only solves a problem. I thought what you were gonna say that I've seen some websites doing now is like, okay, I wanna return this sweater. And they're like, okay, you can return it to your original form of payment, 5 to 7 business days, yada, yada, yada. For, you bought it for $100, we'll give you $100 back. Or we'll give you $110 in a store credit. Yeah. Which is interesting. I never do it.
Depends on the store. If it's like Amazon, yeah, I'm spending $110 tomorrow.
Did I have an amazing time shopping at your website? Like, do you have other things to offer me? Or like, was this whole thing a mistake?
I just like saw it on an ad online.
And I have to get outta here again.
Yeah.
Yeah. Um, have you done Amazon returns where like you literally get your money back before the box leaves your house?
Yeah. And then classic me, I never actually return the item.
And then they charge you in like 6 months.
They charge me again.
1,000%.
That just happened with this high chair cuz I thought it came in the wrong color. I ordered like One of those high chairs that clips to the bar. Mm-hmm. Love. And I wanted like an oatmeal color and it arrived in the box. The exterior was black and I was like, ugh, they sent the wrong one. So we like put it in the corner, did the return, got the money. And then I think people were coming over, we're like, we really need to use that high chair. And we took it out and it was oatmeal after all.
Yeah. Amazon's really got it going on, especially with their codes. Cuz like sometimes, and I can't return anything, it's like I opened it. How am I supposed to, like, for example, like an air mattress or something like, yes. When you take something outta the box, how do you get it back? Sometimes it can't go back in the box.
Some of these porcelain figures, like I've already taken off the bubble wrap. Like, I can't reship it.
So then with their like Whole Foods drop-off and like you don't even need the original packaging, they're living in the future. And that's why you're never gonna catch me saying a cross word about Jeff Bezos. Honestly, he makes it so easy to get my money back.
So I like this new policy. Very eco-friendly and customer-friendly. And only if you're doing it in earnest.
Oh, and
not just trying to like steal $40.
$40? Something you would appreciate from the basketball game last night. And by basketball, of course I mean football.
Um, I was like, the intramural?
Yeah, our husbands do play. It's so funny. Ben always says like when I come home from mahjong, he could like tell by the way I close the door, like if I won or if I lost, cuz like it, it's like all over my face. He doesn't even realize he's so, I could tell. I'm like, how was it? And when he has a good time and he plays really well, he says, they made me their leader. And when he's like, it was fine. And last night it was fine. I'm like, oh, so he stunk. Like he stunk, but no, stunk
up the court. But no, and then he took my husband to McDonald's. Did he tell you that?
He did tell me that. So they carpooled to the basketball game, intramural league,
to the basketball game, their pickup game.
And I always tell Ben, I'm like, can you hustle home? Because Like, sure, stay out all you want, but like, I can't go to sleep until I know everyone in my house is in my house. Mm-hmm. Like, so it's just the later he comes home, the later I go to sleep. It's just like a thing that I have. So he's like texting me, he's like, your car is almost out of gas, let me get you gas. I'm like, okay, that's actually sweet, I won't be mad. And then he was like, well, also I had to take YB to McDonald's. And I was like, really? And I'm like, that's so crazy to like work out at basketball and then eat McDonald's. Like, that's something literally only a man would do. And Ben was like, again, I was thinking like of maybe getting you something. Um, but like sometimes, and it's true, like you really can't predict me sometimes, Ben. come home with food and I'm like, why did you get me that? Yeah. And then sometimes he'll come home with nothing. I'm like, what's wrong with you?
Yeah.
So he made a game time decision to not— it's good. I, first of all, I can't eat that late because of my acid reflux. Of course. And 2, like, I don't know, there's a time and a place for McDonald's. That wasn't it. But it was good to know. Do you know what your husband got? He got the Koji special, like literally the Koji order.
What did he get?
10-piece nugget, large fries, large Diet Coke, McFlurry. Like that's Koji in an order.
Well, I was in the kitchen right before I was going to bed. He
ate it in the car, brought it home.
He brought it home and I shouldn't have been up, but I was feeding my starter. Of course. And he walked in with McDonald's. I would've never known cuz I would've been in bed. He would've eaten downstairs and like never told me. And I was like, why do you have McDonald's? He was like, Ben took me. I was like, did Ben get anything? And he was like, no.
Ben took me. That's like actually crazy. That's like placing blame on Ben.
Cuz he was like, no. And then he also placed blame on me cuz he was like, I didn't have dinner because I guess I didn't like make dinner for him cuz I made for the kids and he had picked me up a salad earlier in the day. So that's what I was taking care of. So like, I guess, yeah, you didn't eat dinner, but that's a you problem.
Seriously.
And he, so he got McDonald's like for himself. I'm like, why you gotta be so fat?
You know what it sounds like? Sounds like Zach and I need to go to McDonald's on Patreon.
It does sound like that, and it smelled really good, but it was like late. I wasn't even remotely interested in that.
McDonald's is so particular, like the time, the place, and the quality control. They're not all equal. I don't know which one they went to. I'll have to try it for myself, maybe on the Patreon, check it out, my local McDonald's. But I was—
Oh, it smelled good. I think he got the, the newfangled McFlurry.
Well, McDonald's never smells bad. Like, that's the thing. It smells so good.
Yeah. He got— the McFlurry's not what it used to be.
Sorry, what I was gonna say is at the football game, you know, Christian McCaffrey's on the 49ers, Olivia Colman's husband, and there was another player on the other team. It was the Washington Commanders with the last name McCaffrey. I'm like, oh, that's funny. It was his brother. Like, I feel like when we talk about brothers in the NFL, we were talking about the Kelces, but no, there are also the McCaffreys.
Okay.
And I think the brother was good because he kept popping up on my screen, like,
cute,
doing stuff.
Yeah, that's really cute. Also, I brought a fan to work today.
I know you did. I saw you.
You guys wanna see what I brought to work?
Jackie brought a living, breathing organism to the toast today, and it is hor— hor— what do you— dough!
I brought my sourdough loaf that I'm working on.
It's not a baked loaf. If you're watching— if you're listening as audio, you might think she brought like a fully baked loaf of bread.
I brought
a bowl
of raw dough with a towel over it. I'll give you guys a sneak peek. Do you mind if I just get a stretch in before?
I don't mind.
I just need to go wet my hands.
Oh, I do mind. Now it's like a whole thing. Like, sit down. Okay,
it's like the point—
There's some seltzer in here. Wet your hands.
No, no, no, no, no. It's like, I'll do it later if you really want me to.
Yeah, no, we have a job to do.
That's the point of why I brought it. So like I said, I was feeding my starter last night.
All right, give it to me. I'll do it.
Give it to me. I'll show you. Wait, hold on. Give it to me. Let's do a demonstration. Just like we always love to do. This is so Morning Joe.
This is so Morning Joe.
But I was feeding my starter last night. That's why when Zach walked in, I was like— With the McDonald's. 'Cause I knew I wanted to make bread today. We're like out of bread. There's like a stomach bug going around. Is there enough for 2? I can split it. Okay, 'cause I could— If you will let me go wash my hands and do a stretch and fold.
Well, no, you have to let me do the stretch and fold. This is like a—
Well, then you have to wash your hands. I'm not having—
Purell?
No!
Oh, okay, fine. Not only do you— I really have to go wash my hands?
Well, let's go take a hand washing break, and you have to wash them with soap and water and then keep them wet. They need to be wet for this.
Never mind. Like, just do it later. Like, this is too much work.
So I started my loaf this morning. I got like 2 reps in of stretch and folds. I'm like, it really needs a 3rd. Um—
And like, is anyone home that could do it for you? Like Zach?
No, I should, I should teach him how to do it. Sometimes I do the show and then I go home and I get one more in. It's like a little late, but it's always fine. The bread is always party G. The
bread is always great.
I'm like, I'm my own boss. What's stopping me from doing it here?
You! Turdy!
Let me go do it. Let me go.
Oh my God.
Let me go. You'll be glad, 'cause nobody loves the bread more than you do.
It's true. I have been like craving bread. I guess we'll just— I'm always craving bread.
Okay.
All right. Live demonstration. She just went. And, um, if you're listening as an audio only, I will Oh, I have to hold the wet rag.
Okay.
I will narrate. She has a manicured hand. Oh, dough looks kind of sticky. The bottle— bowl is rattling. She's stretching the top. Oh, and folding it. It's just as described. Stretch. And the dough just does look like the back of my thighs. Like, that's crazy. The same color, the same texture, the same consistency. That's 2. How many, how many are you gonna do? 4. 4. So this is the 3rd. Oh, speaking of, you know who I got a DM from?
Oh, me too.
Ballerina Farm. And when the conversation was ending, she was like, and you know, congrats on baby number 2, you're amazing. And I'm like, seriously, it's patronizing. Like, you have 9 babies. Like, I was like, thanks. Like, I felt like I had so little babies. Yeah, I literally felt like I had so little babies. I was like, thanks. This is gonna change.
This is gonna be the
The breast bread. Wow, it really looks like my body. That's crazy.
You are what you eat.
True. All right, is that done? Beautiful. Everyone clap for Jackie. That's really—
Clap if you care.
Clap if you care. Um, okay, so that was your Tuesday morning stretch and fold. She's gone with the wind again. Oh, she's going to wash her hands again. Okay, so, um, I guess we don't have to cut this part, but we could just like Let everyone know she's washing her hands. This is just like deeply unprofessional, but it's fine, and we'll wait for her to return. Honey, damn, we gonna have a good time, a thousand hands up to the sky. She's back. We gonna get toasted
tonight.
Okay, you feel better? Your shirt is all wet.
It keeps being all wet and then it keeps drying.
Okay, okay.
That's a good thing I wore a sweatshirt.
That's your Monday morning, Tuesday morning stretch and fold.
Yeah, we needed that.
1,000%.
So if you've been thinking about getting on a sourdough, do it.
And at Ballerina Farm, speaking of, she's like the— she's the place to start.
Yeah, my bread is a descendant of her starter, Willa.
That's beautiful.
Yeah, people name their starters. I actually haven't named mine, which is so unlike me.
So unlike you. Okay, let's think. Starter is like yeast, right?
Yeah, it's like a living organism, so they'll name it like Betty or like just like a random name.
Yeast infection.
But I don't know, I just haven't, which is just so not like me. Like, who am I?
I know, like an opportunity to give a nickname and you passed it up. That's very unlike you.
I'll think about it more. Maybe I'll start something.
Sound off in the comments, what should Jackie name herself?
Well, the people that— Jackie Doe.
Oh no, like the toast.
Yeah, it's honestly just like too
easy. All right, but you know what, sound off in the comments. Top comment gets pinned. Yeah, that's right.
Joe. So you have a crush on it?
Yeah, but my celebrity crushes are ever-changing. Who's your celebrity crush? I feel like I asked you this and you're like, I didn't have one.
Who's my celebrity crush right now? I, I feel like I've graduated from celebrity crushes and now I have celebrity sons.
You— okay, I'm having déjà vu. You said that the last time. Harry Jowsey. Right?
Like, cuz that's how I feel about somebody. Like, I feel a kin— like a, a love for, a warmth for them, but it's not a crush. It's—
No, that's great. Can you—
It's a motherly love.
Can you just like search deeper to find a celebrity crush? Like, who's a celebrity you think is hot? Like—
Oh my, like handsome?
Oh, and sorry, I meant to say, um, Belmont Camellia is also my celebrity crush. celebrity crush, like maybe more so than Joe Jonas. Just, it's a tie.
So someone I find handsome?
Yeah, and like attractive. If you had to kiss them, you would be okay.
Who was I just saying is so attractive? I was just saying someone.
Let me think, let me think, let me think. What are you watching that like—
I was just saying someone's so attractive. I
have no memory of you saying that.
You guys, who did I say was attractive? I remember I was saying like textbook attractive.
Are you talking to yourself?
No. The Toasters will remember. Let me know who I think is attractive. Yeah, yeah, sound off in the comments. And if any of the stories today, if I, if I think someone's attractive, I'll be sure to let you know.
I love that.
I'll be searching for a celebrity crush in the stories.
Okay. What's, what happened in the world today? Like what, who could you possibly find attractive?
Oh, someone who's in the stories is like a former celebrity crush. I just don't really keep up with him anymore.
Who?
Jason Segel.
That, oh yeah. First of all, that's an amazing celebrity crush, even though like not so much anymore. It's like a dated one.
Like, I don't know what he's doing. It's like he just got married. He's on Shrinking. Do you watch Shrinking?
No, I tried.
And, and I think that's when he stopped being my crush. Cuz I was like, we're so different.
Yeah. He, it's a good show though.
I didn't like it.
Oh, you didn't?
No.
I haven't like really had like a crush on him since his heyday. Mm-hmm. Which is fine. Of course.
It's like kind of like basic.
It is. I feel like you also had a crush on Vince Vaughn.
Yeah. He's just a little old for me, but he's the same elf. Like if you like Jason Segel, you'll like Vince Vaughn.
I also think, I don't know if you've ever said this or even realized it on a conscious level, but I think subconsciously you also think like Owen Wilson is cute. Just because you like love his work.
Oh really? I've never thought that. If anything, I'm more of a Luke girl.
I mean, we're all Luke girls, like let's be real.
But I like Owen Mills. No, I, I would find like, in terms of like actually spending time with him, I think I would think he's annoying.
Oh really? I think that like you would hate like Jason Segel, you would hate all these people, but you actually would get along with Owen Mills.
You think I'm so silly goofy?
Yeah, put it in a blender.
That is my favorite bit.
I'm telling you, you would like Owen Mills.
Um, yeah, maybe like any comedians that I think are— 'cause I, I like personality. That's why it's hard for me to just like judge based on looks, because if you're ugly—
I mean, like, let me think.
If you're ugly on the inside, I hate you.
Me too.
I really don't care what you look like.
I do have a very superficial side of myself where it's like, I can hold space for the fact that like, you are really cute. And I've honestly never heard Belmont Camelli like speak outside of Garrett Graham, which really works for my crush. But I did see him at the LACMA Academy thing doing interviews and he was being funny. So I'm like, okay, that's my funny king right there.
Oh, cute.
We know Joe Jonas has like an amazing personality. Yes, he's a jokester. Like, what do you like?
You know who else is like a bit of a celebrity crush for a number of reasons? I know you're like Elon because he's right. So smart. Yeah. Like that would be interesting to me. And he's so rich. Mm-hmm. And like I could have a flying car, but after reading his book, you wouldn't have a
flying car. You would just have a car that levitates.
After reading his book, I sort of moved on because like he's very toxic in relationships and like, oh yeah. I find that, oh yeah. I find that unattractive.
Of course. Yeah. And do you also find like being one of multiple baby mothers unattractive?
Yeah, I see.
Yeah, I kinda wanna be like a one and only, but I'm special like—
So that's what it— so like not an entire fit for me.
Yeah, yeah. And I also think like when we talk about like, you know, getting down to brass tacks, like sitting and having a conversation, like you two would like— I don't think he's like an amazing conversationalist.
I think it's— he's more of a monologuer, but I'm a good listener.
That sounds like genuinely the worst relationship ever.
Look at me and you.
Wait, we talk equal. We talk equal, maybe like 60/40. We talk equal, I swear.
Um, so yeah, someone really smart, like someone really funny would be interesting to me. Someone really smart, like, yeah, is the smartest person in the world. Yeah, that's interesting to me. And richest, also interesting.
I definitely find money interesting.
Money helps.
Yeah, to be clear, none of my celebrity crushes are poor.
No, but are they rich enough for you?
Well, that's the thing, the, the finances of the Jonas Brothers is constantly being called into question. Um, Belmont Camelli is like kind of a starter. He's got a couple of brand deals and one successful show. That obviously doesn't make a life. Um, yeah, I have to step my pussy up like financially when it comes to my—
You do, because like—
That's why I love Jeff Bezos. Like, that's my king right there. That's like probably the only man in the world who could like truly afford me.
You think so? And Elon could afford you, but he's so cheap.
No, he's so cheap he like sleeps on couches.
Yeah, no, he like— I don't even think he has his own plane. Like, please don't even talk to me.
That is where I draw the line. Flying commercial.
He definitely has his own rocket. That's like, he's not of interest
to
me. No, no, but he definitely has a plane. I don't think he flies commercial and I don't think he charters.
I don't think he goes anywhere. That's what I think. Like, I don't think it's an issue of means. Like, I don't think he leaves the state.
Yeah.
You
know, interesting.
And if he does, like, it's like, cuz someone's bringing
him and, or like his car drives him.
Right. Or flies. Mm-hmm. Yeah. All right, let's dive in.

Because like, you know, I don't really care. I haven't cared about what I'm putting in my body for the last 25, 30 years. And now I'm like reading labels and like you become so crazy about it and it's, you realize how much work it is to like make that from scratch or read all the labels. And Little Spoon is just the best. So they have support from babies from their very first feed all the way up to big kids, starting with organic infant formula. First bottles, baby cereal, baby blends, solid foods. And then when the toddler stage comes in, they've got biteables, which are like these meal pinchable meals. They've got, um, all of their recipes, which for big kids, toddlers, or babies are tested for over 500 contaminants, including heavy metals. They've got puffs. The puffs are like going platinum in our house right now. Um, and then of course, as kids grow, their appetites do too, as does Little Spoon. They have plates, they've got lunches, which are like nostalgic, better-for-you versions of the classics. They've got snacks, and they're just offering peace of mind for parents at every stage with over 100 ingredients banned across the board.
So feeding your kids does not have to be complicated. Little Spoon makes it very easy with real nutritionally balanced meals and snacks designed for every stage. Shows up ready to go, takes the pressure off, and still gets devoured. You can get 30% off your first online order at littlespoon.com/toast30. Our code is toast30. I didn't even know. I didn't even know that's how I wore it, you know?
Sure. The leaves are changing, the temperature's dropping, and we've really reached the time where we need to be comfortable, obviously for all for our own reasons. Um, and that brings us to Rowback, which is a brand that makes the coziest loungewear, athletic wear. Now they're getting into like real sweaters, like clothes you can wear outside of the house, inside of the house. Um, their new set, which is called the Aspire Set, is super popular. We're obsessed with it. It's matching half-zip and pants. It's super soft. They have a stripe down the leg. which gives it like a very athletic look. So they're all about making sets that can be worn outside of the house, 'cause it's great when I have a cute set that's like cozy and I am laying in bed, but I need to, you know, sometimes walk Romeo. I have to go places. I have to go to work. Um, and then the mock neck. Jackie's wearing the Bedford mock neck, which I think is probably their best-selling item. You probably see all the cool girl influencers, including the one next to me, wearing it. Um, you're wearing the navy. It's party.
I love it. I love it. Very Princess Diana. I love a sweater. I love a crew neck, but sometimes it's like so slobbish looking. This is so refined. She's like wearing a turtleneck.
Yeah. I look like sporty, like a cool mom.
Princess Diana energy. Like, it's really cute. Everything from Roback is really cute. Um, their men's stuff Ben loves. I think it's hard for men to like find loungewear without looking unemployed, but I really like the stuff from Roback. Use code TOAST on roback.com for a generous 20% off your first order through the end of this week. R-H-O-B-A-C-K. Roback, one of our OG sponsors. Cultivating a vibe.
We're cultivating vibes and Cozy Earth is the place to do it. So Cozy Earth is a company that makes bedding, pajamas, like literally everything cozy and they do it so well. So when you climb into bed, a Cozy Earth bed, like you will feel the difference. Actually, when in my first pregnancy, Jackie was using Cozy Earth beds and I was telling her I was having a hard time napping and she was like, allow me. I took a nap in her bed. She like set the mood. She put this thing on my face and I got in her cozy. And let me tell you, it was one of the best naps. I still talk about it to this day. It was one of the best naps I ever took. Um, They just make really great products. It's all made of bamboo. Um, if you're looking for a new place to shop for bedding, we really like Cozy Earth.
I love Cozy Earth. My sheets on my bed are Cozy Earth, and I also have— they have kids' sheets for like—
Oh, cute.
Bed size beds. So that's what they have in the really cute prints in there, cuz they like always wanna sleep in my bed. Mm-hmm. And then they said theirs isn't as cozy as mine. Mm-hmm. So I got Cozy Earth for them. So really, what can they—
It didn't work. It didn't work.
What can they say now?

Thank you, Turth.
You're welcome,
Turth. Our first story, some halftime show news because we were just discussing who will play the halftime show and Jay-Z.
And Jay-Z said, me.
Is who's in charge? Jay-Z's in charge of the halftime show. He's been picking performers for the last few years. Um,
Roc Nation, like his company. It's like the whole thing. It's
like, yeah. Word on the street is that he is going to choose himself as the headliner. He has been overseeing the halftime show since 2019, and now it's being reported that he will headline in 2027. Um, other people who were in the running rumored were Miley. She's always in the
running, even though I feel like she's kind of ineligible based on what's going on. We haven't even talked about
that. That's our next story.
So, okay. Her run at the Hollywood Bowl. Yeah. People are like very upset with her performances.
Yes. Harry Styles, I guess. Yeah. That could have been a good choice. And Justin Bieber, we discussed he would've been a good choice. Yes. But it's looking like Jay-Z. Curious to see if he would have any guests with him, like Beyoncé.
I mean, of course he would because I, obviously I know Jay-Z songs, but when I heard this news, I just Googled like, what are Jay-Z's top hits? All of them, Empire State of Mind, which is Alicia Keys, People in Paris with Kanye, even though I don't think he's gonna bring out Kanye, Run This Town with Rihanna, Numb Encore with Linkin Park. 99 Problems is widely regarded as one of his best songs and it's the only like solo song on this list. The rest, yeah, like it's, it's gonna— it's giving, um, features, you know?
Yeah. Also, he'd probably bring out some Roc Nation artists.
Oh yeah. Oh, and of course Beyoncé. Crazy in Love.
Beyoncé, Rihanna, J. Cole, Megan Thee Stallion.
They should do like Beyoncé and Jay-Z halftime show. Like, that would be good for the swirlies, like for everyone.
I don't think she wants to do a halftime show.
No. And also like—
I think she would do one song for her husband. I
get the vibe she doesn't like being seen in public with him. Like, I don't know why she's always doing things by herself.
No, but like, if you're doing a halftime show, like you're dedicating the next 6 months to the halftime show. I know, I watched her You remember me from Coachella. It's a whole thing. You have to be an artist, you have to be an athlete. You can come out and sing one song that's different, but I don't think she wants to do a halftime show, and it's not even her own whole show.
But she did do that halftime, what was it, the Thanksgiving show? Yeah. This ain't Texas. That was really good. So she could just like maybe revamp that, like do it bigger and better. She
doesn't have to rehearse.
Now I just wanna say, there's nothing wrong with this choice. Like Jay-Z is a very popular artist. Him like being in charge of the show and putting himself on it, it's very Dirty Loopy Bush coded, and I think it's funny. And it just is more in line with what we've been saying that like since he took over, like he's not doing it for the pop girlies, like all the people we wanted, like Miley, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, like it's never happening. So as far as choices go, like this isn't that bad, like all the songs, but it really depends on who he brings. Mm-hmm. Which is such a bad place to be in. Like you want people to show up for you.
Yeah.
And like if he's just singing solo songs, I'm, I'm, I'm afraid I'm personally not familiar.
No, I don't think he's gonna sing a lot of solo songs. I think he's gonna sing the hits that everybody knows. Maybe there'll be a couple that you don't know, but like for the most part it's gonna be, forever.
Like a medley of artists?
Yeah.
Fine, then it's like a little festival.
Yeah, well, it's not even confirmed yet. I don't know.
Oh really? I saw it being reported like as confirmed.
I'm seeing it as reported.
Oh, that's confusing. It's reports of reports?
Reportedly.
Well, like, whatever. I feel like, like, it's not Taylor, so seriously, I don't care, you know?
Yeah.
Like, if it's not gonna be Taylor, Luke Combs, or like Kelly Clarkson, Choose whoever. Like, I seriously don't care.
They should do a Dancing with the Stars halftime show.
That's an amazing idea.
Yeah, and a great segue into our next story.
Or like, oh yeah, as, um, as the performer performs, like maybe the dancers are there too, because it doesn't only have to be—
Yeah, the same way like other performers bring out DCC.
Yeah.
Like you could bring out Dancing with the Stars.
Speaking of dancing, have you seen at all Tame Impala's new like era that just launched? No. She, um, has a new song. That's what she sang at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It's called Housewife.
Oh.
I just wanna make a lot of money, be my own housewife. And the music video is like her doing, you know, her crazy-ass dancing like in all these different settings. People are eating it up. She's like very TikTok, so I've seen it all on TikTok. Like people gobble gobble eating it up. And it's just like, first of all, it sounds like every other Tate McRae song ever. And I just don't understand, like, and I know it's her thing, but like why can't she stop dancing? Like just—
Oh, 'cause she's a great dancer.
No, but why can't she stop dancing enough to like like perform. Like, she is a singer, she's not a dancer.
No, no, I think her dancing is
crazy. Like, it's actually— I think it's too much.
I think actually she's a dancer.
Well then, and that's why— yes, a thousand times.
And therein lies the issue. So if you want me to listen to the music, it's not gonna happen. And I'll watch it though.
You know, have I told you about the Swiftologist? He's like this young guy, um, he's like a music critic. I don't know what his qualifications are except the fact that I agree with everything he says, and he views obviously Taylor Swift, but like all the pop divas. He's really obsessed with pop music, and he like has a hard-on for Tate McRae. And his critiques of her are so valid. Like, like, she has nothing to say. That's always what she says. And it's like she's competing.
She's a he? A she?
No, he was talking about Tate McRae. It's a he. Oh, okay. He's like a young gay boy. I love him. Like, he's so cute and he's so smart. Like, everything he says— he rips Taylor too. He's not just like so biased.
Oh, I need to see.
He's just one of the only people— he has like personal beef with Ed Sheeran. Like, Ed Sheeran likes Post posts about him like that are negative. Like, he is not afraid to like say the unpopular thing because everyone's like, this is amazing, like eat, eat, eat. And it's like, well, actually it's not, and let's talk about it. And he releases these really long— like, I think he's reading from a teleprompter because he's very smart too. Um, I love him. And so he just sort of like read Tate McRae to filth in the most recent, um, review that I saw.
Can I see it?
Yeah. It's like, what are we doing here? I've never heard of him. Really? I feel like I've told you about him.
No. Maybe if I showed you a video of him. He sounds like a truth teller.
He is. Like, he doesn't give a fuck. The Swiftologist. And he said, I mean,
Anything to do with Swift?
He loves Taylor.
Okay.
But like, he is the first one— like, he was not here for, uh—
Maybe I've seen him because I, I— there's one person who I— who once gave a good criticism that I saw.
You're one day ago.
Yes,
I should watch Chapel and Olivia. They're kind of the same age, right? Like, they came up in the same—
Tate slop has returned.
I have seen him. I sent you his videos.
Yeah, no, he's really—
Wait, wait, but I want to see Tate.
It seems artistically, when I think about like who has something to say Out of the Gen Z pop girls, I don't know what Tate McRae wants to say. I think Tate just wants to serve. And you know what? In the pop star ecosystem, we need to have that. We need to have someone that just wants to serve. Tate is really still functioning off of that, like, old pop star model, being a slay queen, girl boss, glorification of capital. It's a boat, it's money. I think you wouldn't find Chappell or Olivia doing that for a specific reason. They aim a little bit higher in intention. I think they want their music like do something in the world, right? I don't think that Tate McRae really wants to do something with her music, and that's not wrong. But when we're assessing the quality of what the girls are putting out, it's algorithm music. It's not hyper-slop because again, I think it's—
That's a great— it's algorithm music. Like, it's just like music.
Yes.
And it all sounds the same, and it's like, to what end?
Yeah.
I love him. Like, I, I feel like a lot of my takes like are regurgitated of his because like—
Oh, that's so funny.
He'll say something and I'm like, yeah, that is true.
I once saw a video of his, maybe it was about Taylor, and I think I sent it to you because I thought it was so on the nose. I didn't know what else he did, but I was like—
He's obviously like a huge Taylor Swift fan, but he's not afraid to like be honest, which Which I love.
Yeah, that's refreshing.
Yeah. How do we get here? Tate McRae dancing. Just music. Okay.
Yeah, I think just dancing Tate McRae. Um, the dancing to Tate McRae pipeline. But speaking of dancing, Dancing with the Stars reported that Karianna Naba actually complained about Val's slap joke straight to the higher-ups, which is what resulted in his suspension.
And he unfollowed Alan, Burston, and Emma on Instagram yesterday. Val.
Yes, that.
Alan, who is replacing him just for the week, and his girlfriend Emma, who is Jackson, Savannah Banana's partner.
Yeah.
They've both been unfollowed.
Interesting. So I'm not like really liking what I'm hearing.
Me neither. Now, Carrie Ann, I just feel like— I don't know why I feel so like I have to defend Carrie Ann.
No, no, Carrie Ann, like seriously, what he posted and everyone's reaction to like what she said, giving her judgment because she is a judge, that she is right to feel like, what are you guys doing? Like, this is the show. Don't talk poorly about me like that. Don't talk disrespectfully to me. And I'm doing my job. And so she's right to complain about it because the way that everyone's behaving is like not right. Mm-hmm. And everyone needs to keep a lid on it. I'm fresh. I'm like annoyed that he got suspended, that it's become such a big thing, but she's not wrong to be like, everyone stop. Like, we're going to judge and you're gonna take it. That's what you're gonna do. Yeah. You're gonna fucking like it. And you're gonna say, thank you, Carrie Ann.
100%. I just feel like even this report and the way it's being reported is like more victim blaming on Carrie Ann. Like, I don't know. I feel so weirdly— It's unprofessional.
the dancers have done, and Val took it to a next level of unprofessionalism. But this is a workplace. You're not gonna go and complain about me on the internet. You're not gonna go and pull faces.
And like, it could be a threat.
Yeah. You're not gonna pull— oh, also could be a threat. You're not gonna pull faces on the show, make me seem like I'm being overly critical. No, like, be a professional. Everyone has gotten a little too personal here. Agreed. I know they all date each other and they're all related and they're all married, but this is a workplace
and
I have a job to do.
It's also not about the pros. And so now I feel like Jenna and Val Jenna Johnson. They're a duo. So like, ever— she's getting hate now too, but it's like you're taking away votes from your partners. And it's like, it's literally not about you. You're supposed to be completely neutral. You're really not supposed to contribute votes or subtract votes. You're just supposed to dance. And so now Val is hurting Jenna Dewan, and I think that Jenna Johnson is hurting Harry Shum's chances because the fans are crazy and they won't vote and they'll start petitions and they'll get you voted off like they got Guillermo voted off. So it's like you're actually not only not doing your job, you're doing a disservice to your partner. And if I'm one of your partners, I'm fucking annoyed. Like, if I'm Jenna Dewan, I want to dance with Alan. Like, I want to be neutral. Leave me Like, I have my own problems. I need to remember the kickball change. I feel like this is so unprofessional.
Yeah, it is.
And I think the way it's being spun in the media is like actually so misogynistic too, to Carrie-Anne, who like really did nothing. And that's like, look, she complained. Well, it's like, that's literally her coworker. We're all having fun, but like, that's her job. Like, if someone at your job was posting about you on social media, you're telling me you wouldn't tell HR? And it's potentially a threatening message. You know, it's up for debate. Like,
no, it's like, I don't think he was threatening her, but yeah, actually there is an insinuation of violence. So yeah, that's not okay.
Seriously. Like, I can't believe I'm saying this. Leave Carrie Ann alone.
Oh, I agree. Leave Carrie Ann alone. Um, and everybody needs to start behaving. Everybody needs to start behaving and like remember what the show is about and accept the judgment. And, and they need to like understand maybe this is how Dancing with the Stars was in the past. Maybe Maxim told Len to retire and that was fine. Right. And everybody ate that up 20 years ago. But in 2026, we're take— and they're not even being harsh because like they're, they are being soft. They start everything with a compliment and that was amazing. That's true. But you did a lift, you didn't do enough choreography. Um, and you smile and say thank you.
Yeah, of course.
They're not out to get you.
No. And, um, I, I also like hate that this happened, and I'm mad at Val because like the idea that a pro can be suspended for like a week, it's just like now this is what's happening. Now we're setting the precedent for that. So it's like, okay,
yeah,
who's next?
Yeah, I hope everyone falls in line. They need like a kumbaya meeting.
I'm really excited for tonight.
Me as well.
Maybe I'll order McDonald's.
Oh no, but we also have Knicks tomorrow.
Oh my God, I didn't even think about that. Shit.
Oh my gosh, what are we gonna do?
Tonight is the Knicks home opener. Um, they're raising the banner.
Yeah.
They're playing Philly, which like was one of their biggest ops last season, but now he has LeBron,
so it's even more so.
Yeah, and like they were a threat. They, they beat the Sixers— no, what is the team? Philly Sixers. Yeah, 76ers. Like like right before going to the finals. So it was like a tough thing for them. Joel Embiid. Oh my God, I'm like having flashbacks. And now LeBron's on that team randomly. Yeah. So the home opener is just like kind of layered and it starts early 'cause there's like a big ceremony with the banner.
But we have to watch Dancing with the Stars.
Okay, so the banner ceremony starts at 6:30 and Dancing with the Stars starts at 8 and we can start at like 8:15, 8:20. That's true. Like skip the commercials.
Okay, we should be okay.
We'll be fine. But yeah, we have, I forgot I had like a whole thing planned for Ben, like making it special.
Yeah.
Okay.
Um, oh, also a little happier Dancing with the Stars news. Word on the street is that Ezra Frech and Hayley Bills are dating.
Wait, yeah, Sarah J. Nader's ex-partner?
Yeah, Dancing with the Stars source says they're openly flirting on set.
Oh my God, okay, I didn't know this was an option because I don't know why I just thought Ezra Frech might be gay. Like, that was just— yeah, I don't know why. Like, I just— no proof, but I just—
I didn't think that. He's just—
My own assumption bias. Assumption bias. And you know, he's like, when you see someone on Dancing with the Stars, you see sort of like the more feminine side, so sorry. Love this, love this, I didn't know this was an option. She's so cute. Obviously the season didn't go how she wanted it to, but if she ends up with a boyfriend, marry me. A mirrorball winner.
Yeah. I don't know if this is true, it's just like being reported in Cosmo, sources said they're flirting on set. Who knows, but I'm gonna choose to ship. I'll be keeping an eye out.
I'm gonna choose to believe, and I do believe in love ever since I found out that J.Lo and Brick Goldstein are in fact dating, as reported yesterday.
Yeah, I saw.
Like, fully confirmed.
Casually.
Casually. Even though, like, how casual can it be? Because they've definitely been seeing each other since the movie came out, and I've been talking about the movie, what, for like 3, 4 months? Best movie ever. Um, I love this. I just like— it's so unexpected, you know? And Brett Goldstein, I feel like, could be one of your celebrity crushes. He's so handsome, he's Jewish, and like his stuff is like smart, you know? He's like a smart writer.
Doesn't do anything for me.
Damn. Well, does something for JLo.
Does something for JLo. And if you saw—
did you see the movie?
No.
No, that's why you don't care like as much as I do. The sexual tension was like— was insane. It was insane. Like, and we know she's not even a good actress, so like, you know it was real.
Our 3rd story, as we previously mentioned, Miley Cyrus is firing back at criticism of her Hollywood Bowl concert and considered not doing a 2nd show. She said, it's hard for me to stand up here. So Miley Cyrus has been doing 2 shows at the Hollywood Bowl. She famously does not tour She does not like to tour, but she was like, you know what, come to me at the Hollywood Bowl. I live down the road. She has been preparing for these shows. She actually had people thinking she was doing the Super Bowl 'cause she was like, bowl prep.
Right. And
no,
we're like, Super Bowl or Hollywood Bowl? There's been a lot of anticipation. I actually really respect her choice not to tour. I think like it really ruins the lives of a lot of artists, like the expectation of it. And she's in a happy relationship. So doing creative things like this, like Harry Styles doing his residency in New York, I actually really like that and I really respect it. I have no problem with that.
No, not at all. And
if anything, I think more artists should do it because I think the element of having to like release an album, go on tour, leave your family, I think it like literally ruins their lives sometimes. Justin Bieber.
Yeah. Also just touring even like as a, before you have kids or anything, like it's just a, it's a lot, very grueling way of life. And it's, it's like not normal. There's no stability. So, um, it, well, most people cancel the second half of their tours always. So residency is a nice idea. Um, but videos are going viral and it's—
The first one was like 2 nights ago. Mm-hmm. And I saw people on TikTok being like, I just left the Miley show. Like so disappointed. And at first, I always roll my eyes at stuff like that. I'm like, people will be disgruntled about anything, like any excuse to get their money back. But then I started seeing it like more in droves, and I started seeing a lot of videos of her playing her biggest hits and not singing them, which is my pet peeve. Like, do not invite me to your concert to sing. I'm there to listen.
At her second show, she addressed that. She said, oh, I forgot I'm supposed to sing every fucking line. I think she like forgot how to put on a show. She said, I've never heard that I don't put my heart into something. I don't know if any of you heard that somebody was doing commentary today get clickbait on their video talking about my show on Friday night, but I'm a lot of things and we're not even going to entertain that. She had gotten criticism—
She makes it sound like it was one person, like it was a lot.
For not singing the whole thing. Um, she told the crowd on Sunday that performing does not come as natural as it once did, but to her these shows were more than experiment. It's— that's absolutely not what this is. This is not an experiment of you. This is an experience for me, and you all make the experience possible.
And what's weird about this is that like I feel like Like, you could criticize Miley's music career like we often do, but we never really have anything bad to say about her as a performer. No, I mean, come on. Yeah, she's really up there with the greats. Like, some of her festival performances are like some of the greatest of all time. So this is the first time she's ever been called into question as a performer, and I feel that like a lot of the footage I've seen like does support some of the complaints. And I hate when everybody like complains about stuff, but if you're gonna charge people to come see you, like, you gotta put on a show. I heard the show was 40 minutes.
I heard the show was 40 minutes. That's really short.
That's insane, and you don't even sing half the songs.
She said also at one point, before I came out for Orbit, which I guess is one of her songs, I already told myself I wasn't going to come on stage. I was going to run away. But never would I leave you all sitting in these seats unfulfilled from a show. So I can take a lot, but one thing I will not stand is any question about where my heart is when I'm on the stage. I'm fully present. That's not an option.
No, and also like demanding gratitude from people when you showed up? Like, they paid! Like—
No, us to be grateful that you didn't leave us here.
After we literally paid to be here.
After sitting in the seats.
You are contractually obligated to be here, so like, thanks? She's acting weird, and a lot of like what she's saying in response to it, which I felt like a lot of the criticism was really valid, and her way of responding to it is just making it worse.
Yeah.
Like very victim-y. Now I imagine she's going through a lot with the loss of her Aunt Dolly. I saw her like really getting emotional, and it's like sometimes you're too emotional to do something, and that's fine. Um, I just feel like this has been bad for Miley.
Like, all this time I thought she didn't tour like for the same reasons why I wouldn't tour, right? You know what I mean? And all the reasons we just discussed, but not because she couldn't put on a show. But that— she's a showman.
That isn't why. I'm telling you, like, I feel like she's going through something. And I— and now we're like, her name is being talked about a lot in regards to the Super Bowl the last couple of weeks, and probably for the next few weeks until it's confirmed. And it's like, this is not helping.
No, no, she's in—
she should not do the Super Bowl. I never thought I would say that.
Yeah. But why?
Like she— The Jonas Brothers should do the Super Bowl.
That's a good one. She's very fit. She's in great shape.
She's an amazing singer. Like a lot of people, you don't want them to sing live 'cause like they can't sing so good. She's an amazing vocalist.
So just sing your songs and like move around the stage. It's like you really just have to be like those 2 things.
And when you're doing like a residency, not a tour, you're only— your biggest fans are coming. So the bar is lower. Like they're really excited to be there. You don't have to like entertain. Like when you do the Eras Tour 150 times in 30 different countries and people are bringing their parents. You have to entertain everyone. The bar is high. No, just 2 or 3 shows of residency for your biggest fans in LA. Like, girl, just show up and sing.
And like, how big is the Hollywood Bowl? It's
big, but not like an arena,
right? Surprising.
Surprising.
I would have thought that she would crush. I honestly was seeing so many videos go viral, I just assumed they were good. And then I like started— I heard her.
I saw her like literally walking with the microphone down at her side during Party in the USA. It's like, I hate that shit. That is my biggest pet peeve. And it's more so when they do it at like the best part of the song. It's like, well, no, that's— we came here.
No, but it didn't even seem like that was her plan. She didn't sing it at all. She forgot.
Yeah, she didn't sing it at all.
Sometimes they don't sing it because they can't hit those notes anymore, or like, everybody knows this song, so I'm gonna let you sing and I'm gonna take a break.
I hate that.
But she actually forgot that she has to sing.
If there are any artists listening, like, stop doing that. It is my biggest pet peeve in the world. It's so annoying. I don't wanna hear this annoying bitch behind me singing. I wanna hear you sing. That's why we paid to be here.
Well, I don't mind like for them Party in the USA part if you throw it to the crowd. Like, I don't need like—
One time is fine.
Party in the USA. It's not like so—
No, here it would be appropriate. Ready? You're the audience. I'm Miley. So I put my hands up, they're playing my song, the butterflies fly away. Nodding my head like,
yeah,
moving my hips like, yeah. So I put my hands up, they're playing my song, I know I'm gonna be okay.
Hey, we have to hit that note?
Yeah, you can do that part.
Yay!
It's a party in the USA. No,
I think, I think you are, yay! Either or. It's a party in the USA.
Like, you wanna hear the singer sing the title.
Okay, one line.
One time, fine, not every chorus.
Yeah, but it's Party in the USA, it's not that serious.
And you know what they always do, like, feel like.
Yeah.
Back to. Something so— that's so fucking annoying.
Yeah. I think also, if I remember, I don't know where she was performing once, but she had teleprompters for all of her songs.
There are a couple of artists like that. My boyfriend Joe Jonas.
But I will say, like, it's impressive that artists can remember the words to every single one of their songs. And it is a skill that is part of the job, but I can understand if you don't remember everything. But again, it makes you less of a candidate. Did you watch a Bananabowl performance? No. Oh, Joe Jonas. We tried to watch a Bananabowl this weekend, but I couldn't log into Disney+. Oh God.
Joe Jonas forgot like a whole chunk of his song. He is like the teleprompter guy. If he doesn't have his teleprompter, he doesn't know the lyrics to any of his songs. Now granted, a lot of his most— literally a lot of his most popular songs are 20 years old. And so I give grace, but Miley's a teleprompter queen too. I actually think there are a lot of artists who do teleprompters and you would never know because singing and looking at the screen and looking at the crowd is an art. Um, and some of them just like literally look down at the floor. Mm-hmm. It's a balance. Mm-hmm. And actually, even though I have the worst memory ever, you'll never catch me forgetting the lyric to a song. No. I have no idea. The lyric to a song I heard 30 years ago, right there. Of course. Tip of my tongue.
I'm right on top of that.
Tip of— I'm right on top of that, Rose.
Are you ready for our 4th story?
If it's our 4th story that's brought to you by Audible. We are so excited to be collaborating with Audible. October's actually the perfect month for it because, you know, we're fully in the mood to consume things that match the season, the spooky season. So we actually recently started listening to the new full cast Bram Stoker's Dracula starring Jonathan Bailey and Ella Purnell, which is obviously extremely on theme for the spooky season. If there were ever a time to listen to Dracula, the time is now. We've been trying to be better about what we're doing with like random pockets of downtime during our day, whether it's a commute. We were just talking about that. It's so easy to, of course, pick up your phone, uh, scroll for what you think is gonna be 5 minutes, and suddenly you've spent 45 minutes scrolling the same 3 apps and you don't even know what you actually consumed. So instead, we've been trying to throw on audiobooks to actually get something out of that time. Even if you're doing something like a chore, I love doing an audiobook while I'm like doing the dishes. That's what we love about Audible.
Audible, excuse me. You don't have to carve out an hour of your day to sit down and read. You can listen while you're already doing something. else. We'll listen while we're driving, getting ready— getting ready is like a huge pocket of time— doing some fall sweeping, anything where our hands are busy but our brain is not. It makes all those mundane tasks so much more enjoyable because now we're actually invested in a story while we're getting things done. And I think a lot of us are like, you know, walking around the house putting up our decorations for Halloween, and Dracula's the perfect thing to get in the mood. Set the mood. Very spooky. And it's like a full production. I think a lot of people, if you haven't listened to an audiobook, you might not realize like how much is going on in an audiobook these days. These aren't your grandma's audiobooks. Audible has such a massive library, there's always something to listen to, including many of the books and stories that we've previously talked about on the Toast. I know you read Yesteryear for the Redheads, so if you listen to the episode but you haven't read the book yet, or if you want to revisit it after hearing all of Jackie's thoughts, or like the world's thoughts— everyone's talking about that book— you can listen to it on Audible.
Also, of course, Verity, everyone's talking about right now because it just got made into a movie, which is perfect for this time of year too. It's very dark and twisted, very unhinged. It's one of those books where you just need to know what happens next. And I feel like that kind of story is really good as an audiobook. Plus the movie's out, so who wouldn't want to, you know, listen to the book before seeing the movie? So you could just be sort of elite. And then everyone's also talking about Margaret Scott Money Troubles, which— did you read that for The Redheads? We did. Yeah, it's also on Audible. It's a completely different vibe from Verity, but it's a must-listen to. It's narrated by Elle Fanning, who stars in the show too. So whether it's a thriller you can't put down, a book we've talked about on the show, something Jackie's covered on The Redheads, or something you keep seeing all over your feed, there's a really good chance you can find it on Audible. Audible. The listening experience is so good. They have incredible narrators, full cast productions, music, sound designs that really immerse you in the story, plus Audible Originals where you, uh, will hear stuff you can't hear anywhere else.
With something like Dracula especially, like hearing the story performed really brings it to life. They also have a huge selection of ad-free podcasts, so there's always something new to discover. If you are trying to spend a little less time doom scrolling, which I think we all are— I think we should all be making a conscious effort— um, make your commute or your fall sweeping a little bit more entertaining. saying. Or you can finally get into the book that everyone is talking about and stop feeling left out. They make it really easy with Audible. Audible, it's stories that speak to you. New members can start listening with a 30-day free trial when they go to audible.com/toast. That's audible.com/toast. audible.com/toast. Audible, stories that speak to you. New members can start listening with a 30-day free trial at audible.com/toast. Today's episode is also brought to you by Columbia You know, it's puffer season. And I feel like puffer season is actually very complicated. And I'm all about like making your puffer a part of your look, not something you have to like ditch the second you get somewhere 'cause you're like embarrassed by it.
It's like, I don't wanna take it off.
Exactly.
This puffer is the outfit.
And Columbia is sort of like the spot for puffers. You don't have to choose between looking good and being warm. We love the Columbia Amaze Puff. It's something that you would pick out because you like the jacket, not because you're like reluctantly putting something on so you don't get cold. It's like an oversized elevated shape. It gives that puffer look that you want without feeling like you're wearing expedition gear, like about to climb Mount Everest. wrist. Comes in so many colors and finishes, you can choose one that really feels like you instead of automatically buying just another black winter coat that you literally have to go and throw in a pile at a party and not be able to find because everybody has the same jacket. Yeah. They have different lengths. Length is everything. I feel like when you grow up, you realize like maybe you're cold because your jacket's not the right length. Like, you kind of need tushy coverage. You do. Um, you can choose a silhouette that works best for your style, your outfit, how much cover you want. It has 650 fill-down insulation, so there's real warmth behind the look. This is not one of those cute jackets where you walk outside and realize like you made a terrible decision.
No, you can like look cute and feel warm. It's like this revolutionary concept that they're working on over at Columbia. You can layer it as temperature changes, wear it for coffee, errands, dinner, travel. Like it's a super versatile look. Um, one puffer, all season. One puffer, multiple looks. Like we love that. We have extremely high standards for puffers as like born and bred New Yorkers. This is not our first rodeo. We are super excited about the Columbia Amaze Puff. You can visit columbia.com to get your hands on an Amaze Puff jacket. It's tough on cold, soft on you. I've been excited to say that. Let me try one more time. It's tough on cold, soft on you. Thank you, Columbia.
Thank you, Turdlumbia.
You're welcome.
Turdlumbia. Our next story, Jason Segel marries Kayla Radomski in a botanical garden wedding in California. Hearts are breaking everywhere.
Quite literally.
The actor has married his longtime girlfriend, So You Think You Can Dance alum Kayla Radomski. Oh,
can't wait to see her on the next season of Dancing with the Stars because they They just like pluck—
Is that what happened?
Jenna Dewan.
Is that what— where Jenna Dewan was the host of that show?
Yeah.
Interesting.
And she's like— she literally was on the Dancing with the Stars competitor. That's why she's really not eligible for the show. Sorry.
I also— and what happens on So You Think You Can Dance?
What happened? It's no longer with us. Um, and I'm not sure, but it was like the ugly stepsister.
They think they can.
They thought they could.
But could they?
I think so.
And like Allison Kockler, do you know who that is? Like tWitch's wife?
Oh yeah.
She just came up, I saw a reel.
She's extremely polarizing.
She was a pro on Dancing with the Stars.
Was she?
It didn't sound right. They said that she was Andy—
I think they're a part of So You Think You Can Dance.
But she was Andy Grammer's partner.
Grammer?
It said she was Andy Grammer's partner and she was 5 months pregnant.
Oh wow, that's really far along.
Yeah, that's what I heard. That's why it like came across as—
What did you say her name was?
was? Holker.
Allison Holker.
Okay, um, close.
Was she on Dancing with the Stars? I think you're right. Yep.
With Andy Grammer.
So she is known for her television appearances on So You Think You Can Dance.
But what about Dancing with the Stars? So did Andy Grammer go on So You Think You Can Dance?
He must have.
So celebrities go on So You Think You Can Dance?
I am personally— okay, she, she has never, just to clear up, never been on Dancing with the Stars.
It sounded wrong.
She was a contestant in season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance and then an all-star in seasons 7 through 11 and 14.
Next question, what happens on So You Think You Can Dance.
So You Think You Can Dance is an American reality television dance competition show that airs on Fox.
Television.
Let me just— the series premiered— what is the— what is the—
Allison Holker was a pro on Dancing with the Stars with Andy Grammer. One season.
Dancing with the Stars. Here. In August 2014, Holker was announced as one of the 12 professional dancers on the 19th season of Duettists. The announcement of Holker, a contemporary dancer, as a cast member was met with controversy due to her limited experience teaching and dancing ballroom. room.
But she wound up on 4 seasons.
She was with Jonathan Bennett, Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls. They were eliminated in week 6. She was partnered with R5 singer— oh, Ryker Lynch. Do you know who that is? Ross Lynch's— yes, one of the Lynch family. In the 20th season, they made it to the finals and came in 2nd place.
Oh wow.
Season 21, she was partnered
with
Andy Grammer. She was eliminated on week 8, finishing in 7th place. And then she did not appear in season 22 due to pregnancy. She returned in season 23, partnered with baby The couple were eliminated in week 4. So she had 4 seasons on Dancing with the Stars.
But she didn't really make an impact because I don't associate her name with Dancing with the Stars at all.
Neither does Wikipedia. It's not even in her top thing. It's So You Think You Can Dance.
That's really crazy 'cause there are so many former pros that even though I didn't watch, I know their names.
You know that they're part of the franchise. Cheryl Burnett. What's her name?
Cheryl Burke.
Yeah, right.
Of course, Kim Herjavec.
Here's what So You Think You Can Dance— I just want to know what the premise of the show is. It's a format where dancers trained in a variety of dance genres enter open auditions held in major U.S. cities to showcase their talents and move forward through successive auditions. Oh, it's like American Idol, just like finding the best dancer.
But they're all amazing dancers.
At the end of the process, a small number of contestants are chosen. These contestants move on to the main competition phase where they perform solo, duet, and group dance numbers on live television, attempting to master a diverse selection of dance including classical, contemporary, ballroom, hip-hop, yada yada yada.
Okay, who are other people who went from So You Think You Can Dance to Dancing with the Stars?
So here are people who have judged on Dancing with the Stars— on So You Think You Can Dance, and the names I'm only reading people you would know. Paula Abdul, Jason Derulo, Maddie Ziegler, Vanessa Hudgens, Stephen tWitch Boss, Matthew Morrison, Leah Remini, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Are these guest judges or like this is the—
Um, it just says judges on Wikipedia, so So I, I don't want to like give false information because
that's like a lot of like random people. Okay, next question. Who else has gone from So You Think You Can Dance to Dancing with the Stars? And then we'll get back to the story at hand. Are
you talking about celebrities or who has appeared on both So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars as a pro?
Why would a celebrity appear on So You Think You Can Dance when it said
Vanessa Hudgens was on
there?
You said, you said, oh my God, this is not my plate. Like seriously, fuck off. Okay, ready? A lot. Like almost all of them.
Go.
Whitney Carson. Wow. Was on So You Think You Can Dance season 9. She came in 6th place. Jenna Johnson was on season 10, came in 8th. Lindsay Arnold, season 9.
Yeah, Lindsay Arnold, I know.
None of these did very well, I just wanna say. Alan Burstyn came in 12th. Allison Holker came in 8th. Chelsea Hightower came in 6th. Artem, remember Artem?
Yeah, of course.
8th. The only person who seemed to have done well in the 4th spot is Lacey Schwimmer.
Okay, and the winners of So You Think You Can Dance, where are they now?
Where are the winners of So You Think You Can Dance now? And who's the most famous person that I might know who has won?
Maybe it's Kayla Randomski.
Who's that?
The wife of Jason Segel.
Oh, I forgot that's how we got here. Okay, hold on, chat. I feel like I've broken chat. He's like I was like, okay, I've never heard of any of these people. There are probably people— If you're looking for someone you'd recognize from either Dancing with the Stars, TikTok, or pop culture from So You Think You Can Dance, Hanalei Cabanilla, Bailey Muñoz, and Fik Shun are worth knowing. But the biggest mainstream names from So You Think You Can Dance are like runner-ups Whitney Carson and Jenna Johnson.
Yeah, not even runner-ups, but yeah,
I've never—
I've never— And you said Jenna Dewan was on So You Think You Can Dance?
She hosted it.
She hosted it. Okay.
Oh my God,
I feel like there are people—
guess who competed on So You Think You Can Dance at age 13 and came in 3rd place?
Ines de Ramon?
So close. Tate McRae.
Well, there we go.
Ariana DeBose.
Full circle. That's full circle.
Steven— Ariana DeBose was eliminated first, but she was on So You Think You Can Dance Steven Twitch Boss. So I think a lot of people who are like in the industry in various ways, like one kind of had like, you know, a couple— like Jennifer Hudson was on American Idol.
Yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah.
No, no, that's interesting. I'm sure there's like a very strong like cohort on the internet who are obsessed with all of this, who are like screaming at the podcast right now. You guys, we're getting there.
Yeah, no, we're—
we are learning.
We've only been here for 2 fucking days.
Do you have any interesting tidbits to share? Like, please feel free to write them in the comments.
Um, Heather Morris, of course,
was on So You Think You Can Dance, and then, and then
I don't know exactly in what order.
Okay, well, this has been enlightening.
Hayley Erbert, Eric Hough's wife.
Now go like, what did Kayla Radomski do? How did she—
I actually don't care.
Did she win?
I don't know.
One more question.
What's her name?
Kayla Radomski.
And, uh, can I get a spell check?
R-A-D-O-M-S-K-I. Kayla is K-A-Y-L-A.
I know, thanks. Kayla Radomski, searching the web. She's known for So You Think You Can Dance and being Jason Segel's wife. Thanks. Um, she was on So You Think You Can Dance season 5. She finished in 4th place.
Oh great, I wonder how she met Jason Segel.
She worked as a backup dancer for Taylor Swift, JLo, and Britney Spears. She appeared in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Teen Beach Movie 2, and Palm Royale. She began— and Jason began dating in 2023.
So cute. Well, now they're married. They got married at the Huntington Library Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. according to a photo of the wedding invitation shared on Instagram Stories by a friend, or should I say former friend?
By an enemy, like—
The friend also posted photos of Radomski in her bridal veil and declared her Mrs. Siegel. Radomski's brother posted a snapshot of the couple saying, my sister found happily ever after. So—
No, that's nice. I'm happy for them. Like, is he Jewish? Yeah, right? Or he just like plays Jew.
He's Jewy.
Yeah, he's Jewy. Jewish.
Um, he's— he is full.
He just doesn't— he gives like— like just because he has curly hair.
No, he gives just like fake.
His mom is Christian. Okay. Um, Radomski, is she Jewish?
A lot of dancers are Jewish.
It's true, actually. Alan Burstyn is Jewish. Valen Maxim Khmerkovsky.
Uh, Pasha's Jewish. Daniela Karagach is Jewish.
Wait, Wait, what?
She grew up in like a Brooklyn Jewish household.
I feel like maybe I know her.
Right, Kayla Radomski.
And they're also very Eastern European, which I guess is why they're Jewish. I think ballroom dance is like big in that region.
She is not Jewish.
Damn, okay.
But she sounds Jewish.
She does.
And her husband Jason Segel has an Ashkenazi Jew father. Well,
you know, actually having a Jewish last name more often than not, like if we're questioning, means just like that your dad is Jewish.
Exactly.
So, so
like I
said, a Jew you are not.
A Jewie.
Yeah, gets booked up for like Jewish roles.
Yeah, trades off of being Jewish. Yeah, doesn't support the Jewish people.
Classic.
But I don't know him not to support the Jewish people.
Me neither. I actually— I
don't really want to look at it.
Yeah, me no. We're gonna— I don't want to know. As far as I know, like, he's an ally from afar.
As far as I know, he's fine. I honestly don't want to know. Okay, um, are you ready for our 5th and final story, which was the major sports news about Jalen Hurts?
I'm all over
So Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Eagles, like the best quarterback for the best team in the league, is reportedly expected to miss the season after blood clots were discovered in his lungs.
So, so what happened? The story is crazy. I got the whole download from—
Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in his lungs.
So they went to London for a game, which I just feel like of this whole saga, there's so many takeaways.
It's just so unnecessary.
There's so many takeaways. And one of them being like, making your players fly across the world for a game once a week is so unnecessary. When he got there, he had like some health issues. He went to the hospital actually till 4 in the morning. They discovered a superficial blood clot in his leg.
Yeah.
And the instruction he was given was to not fall asleep, which I think because if you like get vertical, I don't know exactly what. So he literally stayed awake.
He's like, and also like being stationary is bad for clots.
36 hours he was awake, which just, if you have a blood clot or not, that's insane. That's what they do to the people in Guantanamo Bay. Like you need sleep. That's just inhumane. He was awake for 36 hours due to doctor's orders and then was also cleared to play. So he played a game. I don't even know if he won, but I heard he ended up winning. amazing first half. Like, he played a game with a blood clot in his leg on no sleep for 36 hours, which— you're the star player of your team, you have access to the best medical care in the world, and that's the medical care you're being given. You also have a blood clot in your leg and they send you home on an airplane. Even I know if you have a blood clot, the last place on earth you can die is being on an airplane. That's like the number one rule. And that's why when you're on a long flight, you have to get up and walk around because of the clot.
You don't want to clot. And that's like Like, even if you don't have a clot yet, you don't want to have a clot.
Exactly. Imagine having one.
Having one.
Right. They put his ass on a plane, took him home, where the doctors discovered he had multiple blood clots in his lung. Like, now he's obviously out for the season, and this might be out for his whole career. Everyone is freaking about how poorly managed this was. And like, you have to really think about how like, this is their star player. Like, he probably gets— I would like to think everybody gets equal access to medical care, but I'm sure they have a vested interest in having the best doctors, the best everything for him. And it's like, that's how you— good luck to like the third-string quarterback, like, who nobody cares about. It's very upsetting.
Yeah,
people are really mad, like, at the whole organization. Obviously, Philly's, uh, Philadelphia fans are devastated because their season's over and he might be out forever. Like, it might be a career-ending injury.
Yeah, and he's like on blood thinners right now and you can't play a contact sport.
Yeah, exactly.
Um, no, it's crazy. And it's just like, it was one— like, just let him—
It was such an incon— and they lost anyway.
Such an insignificant game. It's the 5th game of the season. They're also so close to it. Like, it's like, okay, if Jalen Hurts can't play a game, like seriously, it's not a big deal.
If Jalen Hurts can't play like 2 or 3 games, it's still not a big deal.
No. And the 5th season, there's no game in which you should sacrifice someone's health. Like, of course not.
But I would understand them thinking about it for like the Super
Bowl, right? But the 5th game of the season
in London, like literally they have to stop. I feel like there's so many takeaways here. They have to stop with the international games. It is so lame. It's also not working. People abroad don't give a fuck about American football. And you know what? That's okay. I like that we have our little thing. Like it's It's just us, you know, it's fine. They have to stop. Like, when I thought about the fact that those 49ers players went to Australia, like, why? Like, literally why? Yeah. It's so bad for them.
Yeah.
Not good. Like, literally bad.
No, and like, obviously he should sue the fuck out of them.
Well, I am looking forward, but you know, he's like, the thing is he's the pride of Philadelphia. Like, he's like famously philanthropic. I don't know if you saw like all like the public schools in Philadelphia. had no air conditioning. Like, and of course, like, the state wouldn't pay for it, couldn't repair it. They're like, we're poor. Jalen Hurts paid for all of them. Like, he's a huge beacon of his community.
So sue the team. I don't know.
I feel like if he sued— of course. But I feel like if he sued the team, like, like, the team is the heart of the city, you know?
Well, not if you don't care about your players.
1,000%. I wonder— I called Taylor Jonnehue last night because I was like, are you okay? She was devastated. She didn't seem mad enough, but I'm obviously questioning her grief. She didn't seem mad. She was just like so upset.
Yeah.
Um, and I think that Phillies fan— I know it's kind of what you guys are good at— like, I think you guys should get mad. Yeah, climb up on a lamppost and burn your city down. Like, that's— this is a, a good reason. Yeah, just as good of a reason as any.
Oh well, I hope he recovers and then he can decide what he wants to do about that miscarriage
of
justice and medical advice. Yeah, crazy.
Yeah. And then there's like this guy who's like obviously getting fired. Um, I don't know if you saw, like obviously every Stephen A. Smith type of like sports talking head is like giving their 2 cents.
Of course, this is a big day in sports.
It's huge for the Pat McAfee of the world. And they're all like giving their takes. They're all going viral. And this guy, like, I don't know what— like it's— it went viral. I actually saw it like 10 times this morning. Um, saying how he thinks it's like a fake blood clot and like it's Jalen's way of just like getting the season off because like they're not gonna win anyway. And it's like, we'll start again next. It was such a crazy, first of all, bad take.
Why would he say that? Where is he? Where, where, what network is he on?
Like he was sitting at like a legit looking desk. It was definitely ESPN SportsCenter. Like one of those.
Why would he? That's not even a good call.
And like his co-host like interjected, just like sort of like help him out. And he like literally didn't stop.
Find it.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's not even a good call.
No, it's a bad, it's actually a very bad call. I don't know his name. I'd never seen him before. Um, Jalen Hurts. commentator. Like, hopefully Twitter knows. Yeah, it
looked like that they was kind of pinning this season on Jalen Hurts. Now this is just me looking outside looking in. I don't know nothing, guys. This is his take. Like they were trying to pin the outcome of this season on a Jalen Hurts just so that they can have an excuse later on to move on from Jalen Hurts.
Just a clarification, he's saying the team is like—
Just keep watching.
It's, it's— and it's not Jalen.
You're not supposed to know what his point is. yet. I don't think he knows what it is yet.
And again, I'm not saying I know nothing, guys, but if I'm just playing devil's advocate here and I'm thinking that way, if I'm Jalen Hurts or anybody in Jalen Hurts' camp, I'm saying, well, if everybody's hurt, I'm hurt too.
I guess if the Eagles were not gonna win this season.
And I'm not saying a superficial blood clot isn't serious. I'm not saying that, but I would advise all of our viewers to go Google superficial blood clot as opposed to a real blood clot. Now again, I'm not a medical But I'm just saying, to me, to me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season— which, MJD, you just said it. Yeah, this is a lost season. He's pulling himself out so that this doesn't look like it's on me. Now again, guys, I don't know nothing. No, no, in fairness.
Yeah, I like that. I mean, I want—
I just want to say, like, he's making it—
Jackie!
I just— I never even considered that this, like, might be fakery. It sounds so serious.
It is! That's why this is such an extensive take.
And the one in the calf was a superficial blood clot, but the one in the lungs—
The lungs. Does he have anything— There's multiple in the lungs.
Does he have anything to say about the clots in the lungs?
Keep watching.
For the medical stuff. Yeah, we do, we do. But I'm just saying, they put in the statement superficial blood clot. Look it up.
What is it? What is it?
I made a comment that it looked like that they—
That's it. He's got me thinking.
Oh my God. And his— for anyone, what is his name? Like, who is this guy? Michael Robinson. People do like live to conspiracy theorize about the NFL.
Yeah, and that is fun. I never even thought—
Not on a major network. Save it for your podcast.
Agreed. He needs a podcast. Um,
well, that's where he's going because he's obviously getting fired.
But he issued an apology. I just never like thought— is everyone out in the Eagles like out sick this season?
I think that like there are some seasons where you know you like are a Super Bowl contender and some you're not. And like this wasn't— they weren't like undefeated.
I just think that if they were gonna— that like if they were going to like pull Jalen for the season because the season's a wash, whatever, like they would have come up with a lie that doesn't make the organization look so foul.
Why do you need to come up with a lie? I think that's a good reason. Like, this is not our season, let's not risk Jalen getting Number 2, let's go, put him in coach.
I guess no one's ever faked— Why can't you say that? You can't just like quit. You can't do that. Oh really? And the fans wouldn't like it. I think you can do that. People wouldn't buy tickets. It's like—
Wait, remember that guy?
You can fake an injury and just like say, oh, I'm hurt, my leg hurts. You don't have to like get us all riled up. 36 hours, no sleep.
Brock Purdy.
Flying to London. It's an international affair.
Brock Purdy is the quarterback for the 49ers.
Mm-hmm. Jimmy Garoppolo.
Thank you. Like by accident, right? He was like a 2nd or 3rd string. Jimmy Garoppolo, like, And they never put Jimmy Garoppolo back in, even though he was fine. You know what I mean?
Jimmy Garoppolo got hurt and Brock stepped up.
Yes, and then it was like they had their best season ever with this kid who was the last pick in the draft.
And Brock was doing really well, so they didn't put Jimmy back in.
I just feel like you can leave your quarterback on the bench. That's different. I just feel like you can.
No, I just think, I hear what this guy is saying, and I just think that if that were the case and they're just benching him for the season—
They wouldn't say blood clot.
They wouldn't, and they wouldn't make their organization look so bad.
So negligent, yeah. No, it's a bad theory.
That's what I'm saying. Like, he could've just been like, my arm hurts, I'm out. And they could've just been like, he has a fractured elbow. Mental health. Mental health. It's just been like, he has a fractured elbow, like whatever.
Yeah.
Not all this, this whole crazy story that makes them look bad, the coaches look bad, the medical— and heads need to roll. People have to get fired now.
Yeah, that's what—
Medical malpractice.
They're calling for the coach to be fired.
They wouldn't go about it in this way. That's really— so I appreciate you trying.
The creativity.
Yeah, but no. But no.
Really wishing him the best. I just feel like when your last name is Hurts, That's gotta hurt.
It does hurt.
It does hurt. Um, so yeah, we're like so back in football.
We are.
Um, yeah, official— my official prediction, we'll resurface this video in February, is it's gonna be a Chiefs-Niners Super Bowl and the Niners are gonna win.
I think it's gonna be Bills.
I forgot about the Bills.
And then whichever one is not in the Bills league, so I think would be Bills-Chiefs. Chiefs, right?
Yeah.
Bills-Chiefs, calling it.
Um, so the Chiefs are undefeated right now, so are the 49ers. The Vikings are 5-1. I just barely forgot about them.
What about the Bills?
That's a great question. I love, I love him.
I know.
What's his last name? Josh
Allen.
Thank you, pregnancy brain.
Like, you just forget.
Literally, Bills are They just won. Bills standing 5-1. That's pretty good.
That's pretty good.
Pretty good.
Okay.
Oh, and the Dolphins, your home state, they are 0-5, in case you were wondering.
Florida proud, baby. We have 3 teams though, so how are my other teams doing? Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
That's like so many. Okay.
I know, Florida's a big state.
Buccaneers,
they're
not even on this list. Chiefs, Broncos. Jacksonville Jaguars are 4-2, and you know I love that guy
Trevor Lawrence.
So handsome, he looks like Kylie Kelce. And then what was the other team?
Jacksonville Jaguars.
No, no, that was the Jaguars. The Buccaneers. Why aren't they on this list? Like, Tampa
Bay.
Okay, I feel like I'm going crazy. Ready? Chiefs, Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Jaguars, Colts, Texans, Titans. Browns, Steelers, Ravens, Bengals, Bills, Patriots, Jets, Dolphins. They're not like on this conference list. Oh, 'cause they're on the other side. Okay, cool. What team am I looking for?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ooh, 1-5. Not a great year for Florida.
It's okay, we've had some good years.
Of course, the Tom Brady years were good, fun. The Tom Brady years.
The Braxton Berrios. I think our college teams do really well in basketball.
You had Tyler Cameron. Um, on one of your collegiate football teams. That's obviously huge.
They— he didn't play in Florida.
Yes, he did.
No, didn't he go to Wake Forest?
FAU.
He did?
They showed it on Dancing with the Stars last year. But
I thought he went to Wake Forest with, um, with Matt.
I thought he did too, but he was literally wearing an FAU jersey.
He transferred. Okay, he played at both. He played at Wake Forest and then transferred.
They showed a picture of him. It said Florida Atlantic University. That's the picture they used for Dancing with the Stars.
Okay, okay, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool,
cool. Well, that's our show, you guys. Happy Tuesday. Reminder,
Panthers won the Stanley Cup a couple years.
Nobody
cares. Twice.
Nobody cares.
We do, we do. And I'm telling you, hockey's having a major resurgence.
Dear Toasters is on Thursday, so I just want to remind everyone.
Oh yeah, we could have done it today.
We could have, but the thing is, I'm not messing with the schedule. Like, I made a promise last week.
