00:00:03

Good morning, girlies, it's The Toast.

00:00:08

It's Jax and Claude and we're your hosts.

00:00:14

It's your favorite show, the fast 5 things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, it's The Toast.

00:00:23

I sound amazing.

00:00:25

Welcome back to The Toast and happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday, obviously because it's our first show of the week, but it's our first show of sort of the reboot of Jackson Claude. Talk about 2 atone— this is The Atonement: The Sequel. The Atonement is here. Chag Sameach, Gemar Chatima Tova to all who follow and praise the Lord.

00:00:43

It's fasted. It's the first day— Oh, and from Too Skinny, it's the first day of the rest of our year.

00:00:50

Yes, and of course, as always—

00:00:52

Now the year can begin.

00:00:54

And of course, as always, this time of year, like, we are setting off with beautiful intentions of love and kindness and generosity of spirit.

00:01:00

I'm cracking up 'cause when I was in shul yesterday, And I was doing my atoning and I was reading the prayer book and I, I went to the English translation just to like see exactly all the sins that I'm saying sorry for.

00:01:11

Guilty as.

00:01:12

And it's funny cuz I think we were saying last week on the Patreon or here how I like, there's a couple things I wanna tinker. I really hadn't been thinking that big of ev— and like when I was reading all the things that I'm apologizing for, what were they? It was just like, like literally everything.

00:01:28

Like what?

00:01:28

Do you want me to pull it up?

00:01:31

Oh, you don't remember one single one that you read?

00:01:33

It was like the really— and I think the point of it actually, I want to pull it up because it was so wide-ranging and like every little like tiny infraction ever. And I think the point is meant to be like nobody is perfect. There is nobody who did not sin this year.

00:01:49

Right, right, of course.

00:01:50

And we're not, we're not like striving for perfection, you know. Of course there's always going to be sins, but we are trying for betterness because like when you think of the sins, it's not just the big ones. Like, it's not just murder and lishon hara.

00:02:00

No, right, of course. I didn't murder or commit adultery, therefore, like, I had a good year.

00:02:04

Yeah, yeah, it's not just that.

00:02:07

It's like, you know, I saw someone on the street who needed help and I walked right past them, something like that?

00:02:12

No, not even that. Like, down to like the, the like most insignificant, like, impure thought.

00:02:19

Uh, well, then I'm cooked, as the kids say. Impure thoughts exclusively? All my thoughts are impure.

00:02:24

I know, like your thoughts too. That's not like a sin that you acted on.

00:02:28

Not only that, like, I can't control my thoughts. So what does the Lord want me to do about that? That's crazy.

00:02:36

The point is that nobody's perfect. Let's say sorry, let's move on.

00:02:40

I gotta work it.

00:02:41

And try to be better.

00:02:44

I will do my best. Certain people, i.e., Derek Hough, are making it hard for me. I like how I ended up in this battle with Derek Hough. whatever, like new year, new me. And I—

00:02:57

Okay, yeah, forgive us. This is a different version, but here we go. Forgive us for the wrongs we have committed purposely and for those we committed under duress.

00:03:07

Well, if I was under duress, okay, okay.

00:03:10

For acting without thinking. Okay, fine. For giving into desire constantly.

00:03:17

Like, when you think about desire, of course, like, I'm not committing adultery, but I am definitely engaging in the sin of gluttony, like, all the time.

00:03:22

For sure. For being two-faced.

00:03:26

Uh, no, not me.

00:03:28

For betraying our friends, for betraying our spouses? Never. For treating our parents and mentors without respect? Never.

00:03:33

Oh my God, we respect the hell out of mentors here.

00:03:35

For being stubborn?

00:03:38

Why are you looking at me like that? I'm not Margot.

00:03:41

For the words of gossip we spoke? I know when I see that—

00:03:43

Oh, not me just gossiping.

00:03:44

When I see Lush and Hara in the book, I go hard on that one.

00:03:46

I repent extra hard.

00:03:48

For not living up to our highest potential? That's a sin.

00:03:51

That's actually a chilling thought. Like, did I not live up to my highest potential? Definitely not.

00:03:56

Forgive us for denying the truth when we should have acknowledged it.

00:04:00

Oh, like things I'm in denial about— my cardboard nature. Yeah.

00:04:03

Yeah. For taking situations lightly that we should have taken seriously. Like, that's just so subjective.

00:04:10

No, and I feel that I understand why the Lord wrote these words in the way that he did. But I feel, um, that maybe we've taken it like a little too far.

00:04:21

For requiring more from others than we expect from ourselves. That's tea. I don't do that, but—

00:04:26

Oh, maybe I do with Ben.

00:04:28

Oh, interesting.

00:04:30

Like, I expect a level of excellency in my home that I don't even achieve, you know?

00:04:35

Interesting. For not guarding our tongue. Classic. For looking down on others.

00:04:40

Classic.

00:04:41

For failing to take responsibility. For being scattered and for procrastinating. I didn't know that was a sin. I just thought it was a bad habit.

00:04:49

Oh, I feel actually like pretty good about the fact that I don't engage in the business of procrastination. No, you are not since high school.

00:04:55

You're a hastinator.

00:04:57

Yeah, no, it's true. What's the opposite of procrastination where you do things so quickly and so fast that you actually just do them poorly?

00:05:02

And also like sometimes they're too fast.

00:05:04

1,000%.

00:05:07

For being— for chasing after ambition and success.

00:05:10

That's bad. Oops.

00:05:13

Yikes.

00:05:14

Sorry about that. Sorry, God. Won't happen again.

00:05:17

For not making promises we didn't keep, for not giving generously to those in need. So it's a lot.

00:05:22

This is— well, like I said, new year, new us. We will do our best to not look down on others unless they need it, um, and to not guard our tongues. And if today's episode is boring, please Blame the Lord.

00:05:38

Regarding our tongues.

00:05:40

Regarding our tongues. So yeah, let's try and keep that in mind. Here's some good neutral conversation. Ready? I watched a lot of TV this weekend that I'd like to talk about.

00:05:49

Okay, I'm not ready to get into TV recap though.

00:05:52

It's not a recap because you didn't watch any of this. I just want to tell everyone that I watched it and just give like a brief sort of recap. Brief, brief thought. A brief thought, if I may. I watched season 2 of Chad Powers.

00:06:03

Okay. Oh, that's a good thing to watch. I should have watched that.

00:06:05

Because it was a lot of time with my husband this weekend and it was what we could agree on. And I just wanna say it's insane. And I have only positive things to say. It was an amazing season. It's insane that we're calling 6 episodes a season now. I just—

00:06:18

I watched season 4 of Full Swing and it was 5 episodes.

00:06:23

Yeah, when I was growing up, we used to do 22 episodes a season. So I'm not used to this sort of like phoning it in energy.

00:06:29

Slumdog has 5 episodes.

00:06:31

I got the sense that the salama was like a half of a season though. I don't know why.

00:06:35

I know, I feel that's what it should be, but like Miranda said, no, next season is season 6.

00:06:39

Season 6. Well, Chad Powers is excellent. Like, it's really the dumbest show, like, in its concept, but it's so like, it's got heart. And this season they had like a little bit of a danger element. It was kind of spooky. I was watching one episode at night, I said, we have to turn it off, I can't watch this right now.

00:06:52

Chad Powers was too spooky.

00:06:53

Yes, there's like this kind of crazy person on the loose and he's like really, really scary. Chad Powers, loved. I also started the new season of Ted Lasso, again looking for husband and wife. And they made this whole big deal about ending Ted Lasso just to bring it back. And I don't know, it's not hitting the same. Even though all your faves are back, Roy and Keeley. I don't know.

00:07:15

You know what, I don't watch Ted Lasso anymore. It got bad, so that was it for me.

00:07:20

It's just like, it's not very good. And then, There was one— oh! Oh, I watched more of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and I'm here to tell you, like, it's actually fantastic. It's really passive watching. Like, you don't need to binge every episode when it comes out. It's such great, like, background. I am cracking up. Like, between Luann and Portia, who are definitely stealing the show, I cannot stop laughing. They're doing a really good job of, like, paying homage to all the different Housewives. They basically go to each city in a different episode. We're in Atlanta now. Well, I'm in Atlanta now. And they have, you know, Nene and Phaedra, like sort of crowd favorites, coming in. They throw a party at night and basically they invite everyone and whoever from that city wants to come, like, sure, show up. Everyone's trying to have a moment, you know.

00:08:04

Of course. Cringe.

00:08:05

And it's like cringe to watch them and the other ladies, like the ones who have been chosen for the trip. There's just like, it's not an equal playing field, you know? It's like Lisa Barlow's definitely, all the other women, I could tell she's, I don't watch Salt Lake, but she's on the outs with almost all the women. And I just know it's killing them, specifically Heather, that Lisa was the one who was chosen to be the representative.

00:08:25

It is surprising they chose Lisa over Heather.

00:08:27

I think Lisa is hated amongst the group and loved amongst the fans, and that's really more so what they care about. Um, it's just so funny. It's also just interesting how it's like, I can't stand Teresa, I've never been a tree hugger. She's such a delight when she's out of Jersey. Like, she's cracking me up. She's really sweet. She's like, Luana's singing like Everywhere. She performed at Kyle's party. She's making them watch videos of her singing. And Teresa's like so supportive. It's definitely annoying, you know, they're with these women nonstop traveling, bus, Sprinter, and it's like you're getting sick of everyone. And Luann's singing the whole time. Vicki can't take it. She's like, she has to stop singing. Teresa's like so sweet. She's like, I love that song, Chic C'est La Vie.

00:09:03

There's a mosquito in here.

00:09:05

Did you get it?

00:09:06

No, I saw it before it was taken.

00:09:08

Oh, Jacqueline, I think definitely in the Book of Prayers you're not supposed to be killing other living beings.

00:09:12

It didn't say that, we just read it.

00:09:14

Um, you probably didn't get to that part.

00:09:16

And I didn't kill it.

00:09:19

You looked like you snatched it right up in your little hand.

00:09:21

I wish. And then I would open the door and let it go, of course.

00:09:26

Of course I would. All that to say, it's definitely worth watching. I'm cracking up. Like, if you— I just like cracking up.

00:09:33

You're looking forward to it?

00:09:35

Every time I sit down, I said, you know, I'm looking forward to cracking up. Portia is carrying the entire show. She's Probably one of the funniest people on TV, period. Cracks me up. They're doing lots of flashbacks, like iconic moments. It's really good. Like, it's not what I thought it would be, and it's got heart. You know, this group of women, they're all sort of bonding together 'cause they hate Vicki. She's such a wet blanket. She's like, she shouldn't have been chosen. Like, I know she's the OG of The OC, but she's too busy. She has to work for Kodo, so she's like on her laptop when they're like filming scenes. She hates everyone. Like, seriously hates everyone. She thinks she's too good for it. Like, she's seriously pissing me off.

00:10:08

Okay, but it's really good.

00:10:11

Okay, it's really good.

00:10:12

That's good. I'm happy for them that they did something good.

00:10:15

Yeah, yeah. And I know it like all comes to a culmination at Bluestone Manor, so maybe they end with New York, um, and that's where everyone shows up. But so far they've gotten everyone except tea is that Kyle invited Dorit to her Beverly Hills white party where they like, you know, that's where Luann performed, and Dorit didn't come.

00:10:34

Hmm.

00:10:35

Oh yeah, they're still fighting.

00:10:36

Yeah, yeah. But it's like, I haven't been paying attention a while, but it just happened to have like—

00:10:41

it just happened to have been at Kyle's house, but like it was not Kyle's party, you know?

00:10:44

Yeah, but no, that's true hatred there. So of course, true hate. I'm not gonna go to my opp's house.

00:10:49

I know, but it's like, I mean, it's kind of a work event. It's a work event like for your boss.

00:10:53

Well, if it—

00:10:54

they—

00:10:54

if she was obligated to go, she would go.

00:10:56

No, it's not an obligation, but I would want to go like as just to keep myself like relevant in the Housewives. Teddi Mellencamp was there, of course.

00:11:02

Of course.

00:11:03

Of course. Um, seriously cracking.

00:11:05

So thank you for that TV recap after all.

00:11:08

Yeah, just like, that's what Turdy watched this weekend.

00:11:11

I only was able to watch Full Swing. It was only 5 episodes. That was like my night of, um, Yom Kippur, like the night where I couldn't eat after dinner. And then it was over, and the whole season was like about the lead-up to the Ryder Cup. And like, just knowing how the Ryder Cup went, it was just sad to watch like Keegan Bradley The Brits, it's Europe.

00:11:32

Whatever.

00:11:33

Keegan Bradley, the coach, like the captain, like talking about how he's gonna make the team and how it's meant so much to him. And it was just like such a flop. The Ryder Cup was a true flop for like our, our whole country really. Like the players, the fans performed poorly. Like—

00:11:47

Oh, I seriously feel awkward. Like—

00:11:48

It was, I mean, the, the last day was like better because we were down so much and like we really came almost all the way back.

00:11:55

It doesn't matter. Nobody remembers that. They just remember that we lost.

00:11:58

Yeah. I do think it's like setting up and we're always like the, the favored, you know, because like we have like Scottie Scheffler and like the number one golfers in the world. They do have Rory.

00:12:09

Yeah, I watched a lot of Rory this weekend because there was, there was some champ, uh, I'll never remember. You still hate him?

00:12:19

Like, yeah.

00:12:19

Okay. Because the thing is, is like times, you know, change, people change, but like he still did that thing with his wife, you know?

00:12:27

Yeah. And it's so crazy that the other woman is like the journalist from Full Swing, like, who's like talking.

00:12:32

Correct.

00:12:32

And they don't really address it, not that I expect that they would. And this was also the season Rory won the Masters, and that's when I started paying attention to golf. So it really came full circle for me, but I also kind of knew everything.

00:12:43

You mean it helped come full swing for you?

00:12:45

It came full swing. And they focused—

00:12:48

TV Recap Podcast—

00:12:49

they focused on a lot of like new players because they were trying to show why certain people were picked for the Ryder Cup. Which was okay, I understand. It was very Ryder Cup focused, which was just tragic.

00:12:59

Just like it's a very like inner circle in the know type of show now that like you know about. Like this sounds like very niche.

00:13:06

No, but it's like the sport of golf. Like yes, I am now aware of what's going on in golf because, well, I'm a year delayed, but because of Full Swing.

00:13:14

Because of Full Swing.

00:13:15

You know, like top players in the world.

00:13:18

Right. Well, I watched them this weekend. Who won? It was called like the Biltmore. Does that sound right?

00:13:23

Biltmore? Probably. They just call everything anything.

00:13:26

And they have so many tournaments. Like, obviously we know the Masters, but like there's like 100 a year.

00:13:30

No, there's 100 a year. And then it's like the, the Travelers Cup, the FedEx. And but part of it is like—

00:13:36

Okay, by the way, the Travelers Cup I've heard of, like that's a big one.

00:13:38

And at the Travelers Championship you win the FedEx Cup.

00:13:43

Chilling.

00:13:43

Make it make sense. Make it make sense. Like everything has like a name and then it also changes venues a lot.

00:13:49

So it's like at the Oakmont we have the US Open, But they always do the Masters at Augusta, and then there's one at Pebble Beach, right?

00:13:56

That's why the Masters is like in a league of its own.

00:14:00

That's why we know about it.

00:14:02

Yeah, but, and that's one of the majors. US Open— I'm not doing this because I know too. Okay, how was your fast?

00:14:08

It was good, you know, as good as it could be, because like we did it, check, and that's all that matters, like getting through it. But we got so sick. Like, you know Ben, like he can't just break fast normally, like He had so many bagels and so many donuts. Margo was in charge. Margo brought a delicious spread. Um, but she brought donuts and Ben was just like, he had this donut in his hand, a Boston cream. And I said, that's gonna be the one. That's gonna be the one that you're gonna be like head in the toilet bowl saying, I wish I didn't have that donut. So he put it down, but then he picked up like, you know, uh, Nerds gummy clusters. We were, so we went to bed at like 9 o'clock. The second everyone left, I was like, get the— I literally was the worst host. I was like, respectfully, you all need to leave.

00:14:44

Yeah.

00:14:44

We're not here for like a long time.

00:14:47

Yeah, my fast was actually decent, which was surprising. I was like dreading it. I always get a horrible headache.

00:14:53

The headache is the worst part.

00:14:54

And then like the headache never goes away, like even once you eat. But I didn't get the signature headache, so like I was mostly okay. It was actually a really beautiful day because I wasn't on my phone, which I don't do every weekend like you. Let me tell you, even when I broke my fast and everyone went home, I still wouldn't turn my phone on.

00:15:07

Like, 1,000%.

00:15:08

That cursed phone. I definitely wanna try and do it more often. It's just hard cuz it's not like I'm like, there's things going on on my phone that I have to like be aware of.

00:15:17

Jackie, that's what you think.

00:15:19

But if I delegate those couple things, there's a couple things like to Zach. No, no. But like Zach can handle them. I'll be like, just if it's Saturday, call Zach.

00:15:27

No, it's like inconceivable that you could turn off your phone, but then you do it and you're like, you know what? You can make it work. Like you put systems in place. I agree. The Fast Test ended at 7:30. I probably didn't get on my phone until about 9 o'clock. Like after everyone left, I was just like, Not in the mood. I didn't even miss it at all.

00:15:40

I didn't miss it at all. And like, you— and I've been feeling like I'm on my phone too much. Like some nights I don't even watch TV or read. I just like scroll on Reels and I'm— it's not like I'm watching terrible content. Like I'm really watching like cooking videos, homemaking videos, decorating videos.

00:15:53

Doesn't matter.

00:15:54

Like, but it's just like I have nothing to show for it.

00:15:57

And every time you turn your phone off, when I turn my phone off, I'm like, oh my God, something crazy's definitely happening. Like, and then you turn your phone on and nothing. thing happened.

00:16:05

It also helps that the people that I feel like I need to be like in touch with at all times were off their—

00:16:10

Are around you.

00:16:10

No, were off their phone yesterday.

00:16:12

Well, yes, that's the other thing.

00:16:13

You're very much safe. Our family chat is what blows up 100 times a day, but when we're all off of our phones, then nothing's happening.

00:16:21

I always, and every time I see someone like on Saturday, I'm like, what's going on? They're like, nothing. And then yesterday my sister-in-law was like, did you see Cindy Crawford? Her son died. I was like, what?

00:16:31

Yeah.

00:16:31

It was like the first time anything ever actually happened. And I, and I didn't hear about it until much, much later. Yeah.

00:16:36

I saw it. I saw like an article like talking about it, not even announcing it. So I'm like, wait, right, what?

00:16:41

Rewind. Right, right.

00:16:42

Yeah, I had the same reaction. It was so sad.

00:16:44

We'll talk about it because that's what it's like, jarring to be off your phone. Like you really are disconnected. But most of the time when you're off your phone, like nothing happens.

00:16:51

Yeah, no, so that was a real delight. And we were actually in shul till pretty late, so like we got home like 2:30 and it was like, okay, like just a couple hours. Then like family came over a little early, that helped. We were chit-chatting. But then I had a coffee before I broke my fast so that I could like stave off a headache. So it took me a while to fall asleep at night. But other than that, yeah, other than that, it was as pretty— it was pretty good.

00:17:13

One of the, one of the hardest parts was the breath. And I'm talking about like everyone around me. Like, I don't know what it was, but like, I'm sure like I could not stop smelling everyone's breath. And then Ben was saying that there was like a fire-breathing dragon in his area where he was sitting, because like seriously, you could not stop smelling the breath. And of course, like, you can't help it. I can't be mad at people. But it's like, as if I don't feel poor enough, now I have to smell your breath.

00:17:39

No, but the way I feel, it's like, like Dorit Kemsley. If I can smell your breath, you're too close.

00:17:45

You're too close.

00:17:46

So I didn't smell anyone's breath.

00:17:47

But in New York, like, we've got limited— I mean, we sat down at shul and I literally said to Margot, I'm like, do you have to sit on my fucking lap? Like, move over. And she was like, the chair is like here. I'm like, just move over.

00:17:56

Oh my God, Olivia and I sat— we had like all these chairs for the kids that they were like all playing. So Olivia and I sat with 4 chairs in between us. 'Cause I'm like, we can't sit next to each other. And I would've sat with like one in between us, but then we were just like being stupid. But we cannot sit directly next to each other on Yom Kippur.

00:18:12

Of course not. Like, get out of my face.

00:18:15

Yeah.

00:18:16

And then during nap time, like we also napped and Ben's like looking over at me. I'm like, you need to flip the other way.

00:18:22

Oh my God. You're so scary.

00:18:24

No, it, I'm like very triggered by breath. I am. And obviously Yom Kippur is sort of like my Super Bowl. And I just was dodging people left and right yesterday. Like, if I saw you at synagogue and I didn't even say hello, like, I didn't wanna smell your breath.

00:18:36

I do not wanna speak to anyone.

00:18:38

Nobody.

00:18:40

Um, and then also I had such an exciting day on Saturday. Do I look any different? Well, you wouldn't see, my hair's behind my, behind my ears.

00:18:48

You got a haircut.

00:18:49

I got a haircut.

00:18:50

Yeah.

00:18:51

But not just any haircut. Our favorite stylist who cuts your hair in New York, who used to cut my hair in New York, came down to Florida. Mahogany Grace. She's such a queen. And like, I haven't had a good haircut since I left New York unless I go to New York or go to Dallas, and she came to Florida and cut my hair, and I feel brand spanking new.

00:19:10

And there's nothing like a face-framing layer to give a podcaster a little bit of pep in her step.

00:19:17

Except— oh, I don't wear my hair like you do on the show with head— with hair in front of headphones, so you actually never really see my hair and my layers.

00:19:25

So it's more about how you feel?

00:19:27

No, no. Like in every other hour of my life, yes. However, in this one hour—

00:19:32

Like, do you feel your pieces just sort of like matriculate down to the front and you're just like a sexy little girl with her pieces?

00:19:37

Well, I feel like I have— I don't know. I feel like I have so much more variety. Like I can wear my hair up with pieces, up without pieces, in a chignon, in a tousled blow dry, behind the ears. There's just so many more options. So I'm feeling very excited about that. And that was a fun A fun girly day. We called it girls' day.

00:19:57

Oh, so much fun you guys have without me.

00:20:01

We had a lot of them without you, but we're seeing you soon, so it's okay.

00:20:03

Yes, I am coming down, um, quite soon actually.

00:20:08

Yeah.

00:20:09

Quite soon. The stories, I guess, are pretty good 'cause we had a whole weekend.

00:20:13

There's a lot.

00:20:13

Oh, we also did 2 Patreons. If you were observing the holiday yesterday, you probably didn't see. We dropped a Patreon yesterday. basically covering all the pop culture news we weren't able to cover the week prior. We basically choose our 5 stories from like 20, 25 different potential stories. So we did all the other stories from that week that we weren't able to cover.

00:20:32

Because it was a busy week, but it was also like a little bit of a window into like our story choosing process, which I know that we get a lot of criticism, criticism for. And so if you were also like hoping to hear like what we think about this or that that didn't make it into the stories, like we talked about everything. It was actually like really fun. And I think A great way to like put out a pop culture episode on a day that there was no show.

00:20:54

Did we also release something on Friday? Or we recorded it on Friday?

00:20:58

We recorded it on Friday, released it on Monday.

00:20:59

Oh, okay. Well, Patreon, constantly being fed, patreon.com/thetoast if you'd like to join our subscription.

Today's episode is also brought to you by Nori. Oh my God, a product I've been using so much because I don't know if you've seen, I've kind of been like pulling out looks. I went to a wedding, I went to shul twice, I've been going to so many things that require my clothes to be wrinkle-free, and I don't know why, like everything I have is wrinkly. Maybe I'm not putting it away properly.

00:25:45

Well, Nori is one of our favorite sponsors. Nori is iron spelled backwards, and they of course make a wonderful iron that I own. I've been loving their steamer. It's called the Nori Cloud, and it's just changing the way that we care for our clothes. I actually used it on some of the baby clothes too. Um, it's just the best. It's also like not ugly. I feel like so many steamers are like big and clunky and don't even work well. This one is handheld. We've been using it, and let me tell you, it is That's just what we wanted. It's lightweight, heats up in just 25 seconds, and best of all, it doesn't spit. You ever like getting ready for like a black tie affair and your iron spits water or your, uh, steamer spits water and your dress now is stained? Like, it's insane. It's insane how many poor steamers there are. Let me just tell you that the Nori Cloud is different. It delivers up to 20 minutes of continuous steam on a single fill, makes it super easy to steam a dress before dinner, or if you're doing like your whole week's worth of clothing in advance, you can do it all on one tank.

00:26:35

If you've been listening, you know Nori from their viral handheld steam iron, the Nori Press, Such a hit with Target shoppers that Target actually invited the brand to expand into a new category, which is the Nori Cloud. I love it. I use it on Ben's clothes, my clothes. Again, the whole no spitting thing is huge. Visit your local Target store or nori.co, N-O-R-I dot C-O, and use code Toast at checkout for 20% off your first purchase. That's www.nori.co, N-O-R-I dot C-O dot co, and use code Toast for 20% off your order. Today's episode is also brought to you by Roback. You guys, Roback is just sort of the gift that keeps on giving. The air has just started to feel like fall this week. It's so pargy in New York. There's a crisp in the air and we need sweaters, which means we've definitely entered the phase where we want to be comfortable at all times but also look put together and very elegant. And now entering Roback's brand new Aspire sets. So it's a matching half zip sweatshirt. Actually, I just opened it before I sat down here. Um, it's a matching set. It has half zip sweatshirt and then pants.

00:27:30

They are so, so soft. It's my favorite type of material where it's like meant to keep you warm, but I'm a temperature-regulated swirly. The material itself is like very cool to the touch so you don't get overheated. Um, the pants and the, uh, sweat— the half zip are really cute, like very put together. I love a set too because it's like I can't pick out both pants and a top, it's just too much. The pants have a cute stripe detail down the leg, it gives them a very retro feel. Roback actually made a shorts version of the Aspire set this spring. It sold out in a week, so this is just that but for fall. They made a really cute fall version The half zip is very cute and flattering. The pants are very comfortable. It gives you a very specific look of, yes, I'm wearing sweatpants, but I also look put together. You can wear the full set to run errands, grab coffee, or the perfect travel fit. And then obviously both pieces work separately too. Half zip with jeans, leggings, pants, um, with a tee or a sweater. So it's very easy, low lift effort, but very chic.

00:28:19

We are loving all the new fall pieces from Rhoback. Use code TOAST on rhoback.com for a generous 20% off your first order through the end of this week. That's rhoback.com.

00:28:28

Thank you, Turtback.

00:28:30

You're welcome.

00:28:31

Our first story, as we discussed, very sad news. Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber, died at the age of 27. So Presley died on Sunday, September 20th, at a rehab facility according to Los Angeles County medical examiner records obtained by People magazine. TMZ was the first to report the news. An autopsy has, yes, to be completed, but it appears that he died of an apparent overdose. He had checked into rehab the day before and he died at the facility. He appeared to be under the influence when he checked himself in one day before.

00:29:06

Terrible, terrible story. I was so shocked when I heard this and I realized that I hadn't heard about Presley Gerber in a while. And I remember when like Kaia was sort of like launched on the scene at like a young age, she was launched with her brother. Like they were both like gonna be models.

00:29:22

Models, yeah. Yeah.

00:29:23

Kaya's career really took off, and I feel like now in hindsight, I didn't even realize it at the time, but Presley definitely, like, I don't think that life was for him at all. I didn't know he had this huge struggle behind the scenes, but I don't even think it was so behind the scenes, 'cause then I saw a video today resurfacing of him talking about it. Like, I think he's been really open about his addiction. It's just such a tragedy.

00:29:44

She's been doing press recently for her show, and I remember I saw a clip of her a few weeks ago just talking about her personality and how she's always felt like she needs to be the achiever. because of like her brother's, um, like substance abuse. Like she was talking very openly about it to the point that it felt like in the past, right? Like healed. Like talking about how like the issues that he's had have like sort of like leveled their family. Like it's been incredibly difficult through the years. And again, like I didn't know it was ongoing, especially hearing—

00:30:12

No, I know.

00:30:13

So open about it before this even happened.

00:30:16

And I feel like what's so crazy about this is like you could look at somebody like Presley Gerber who was seriously, you would think, like, born into— I don't know if a more perfect life exists, right? In Malibu, supermodel mom, billionaire dad, supermodel sister, you're good-looking, you have every opportunity. And it's like, really, addiction is the great equalizer because like none of that mattered.

00:30:35

Yeah.

00:30:36

And even this is somebody who probably had access to like the best type of care when it comes to these types of facilities and, you know, treatments or whatever. And it's just, it is such a tragedy. And this is her only sibling, right?

00:30:47

Yeah.

00:30:48

So sad. Like, really so sad.

00:30:50

So sad for the parents.

00:30:51

For the parents.

00:30:52

It's just a terrible, horrible story.

00:30:55

It's so shocking. So young.

00:30:58

Yeah.

00:30:59

27. Like, Pittsville. I, I, when I— I couldn't believe it when I heard it.

00:31:03

No, me neither.

00:31:04

Like, I was like, Cindy Crawford's son? It was like, it just took me a minute to like know who we were talking about.

00:31:12

Yeah.

00:31:12

Terrible story. Seriously, I hope I wish them all like a lot of like luck in their journey ahead. Like, it's gonna be tough.

00:31:20

The family put out a joint statement saying they're asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time. Just enough to say like, please like leave us alone. Leave us alone. I really hope that people do.

00:31:29

I don't know, I've seen like some really tasteless like stories already. Like, inside the facility, $10,000 a week. It's like, stop it.

00:31:37

The $7 million house.

00:31:39

Yeah, yeah.

00:31:40

Those resolutions.

00:31:41

Like, stop.

00:31:43

Yeah.

00:31:43

Stop it.

00:31:44

Yeah, no, like—

00:31:45

Not yet.

00:31:46

They can't help themselves, but maybe— And like, not ever. Maybe people can be decent about it and just give them space.

00:31:52

It's just a terrible, terrible story.

00:31:54

Yeah. Well— And this—

00:31:56

Presley is the one who dated Lexi Wood, right?

00:31:57

Yeah.

00:31:58

Sad.

00:32:00

Lexi.

00:32:01

Lexi. She always had nice things to say about him, always. Like, she was never, uh— she was like— they pestered her a lot about it during her time on Bravo, like on Watch What Happens Live too, and she always like had wonderful things to say about him and his family.

00:32:11

She's a classy girl.

00:32:13

And I think they're like a really nice family.

00:32:15

Yeah.

00:32:16

Like as normal and nice as you can be at, you know, when you're, when you're that.

00:32:20

When you're— yeah. Well, rest in peace and just like seriously thinking of the family. Um, our next story is something I actually broke right after we wrapped on Friday, so we've been sort of like—

00:32:31

Oh my God, the timing!

00:32:32

Sitting on it. Well, that's what you get now we've recorded so early, like we're missing stories. I know.

00:32:37

I do feel We've, in recent years, we used to be like hardcore, like we are not waking up early. Now like we're up early already so we get the show out. I would rather have this problem than like, I'd rather have people being like dying for the next day's episode, you know?

00:32:51

Of course, of course. No, no, no, we're not like pushing back the show.

00:32:54

No, no, but things like this are so fucking annoying.

00:32:57

Yeah.

00:32:57

Like as I sat here taking my picture for like our Instagram, I saw it. I'm like, are you fucking serious?

00:33:04

What it is is the Traders, Traders season 6 cast revealed. So Celebrity Traders is back.

00:33:11

And Regular Traders started last week. I don't think I'm gonna watch it. I haven't like—

00:33:15

Yeah, I don't know. It's hard to feel inspired.

00:33:18

Yeah, but like truly, like not one person I know.

00:33:21

Yeah, but we have Celebrity Traders. It is back. It will be, um, premiering— when is it? Did it say?

00:33:30

I have no idea.

00:33:32

I'm sure it did. Yeah, um, No.

00:33:37

Lots of—

00:33:38

I didn't see. Anyways, here's who's on the cast. Kristin Chenoweth.

00:33:43

Okay, she's sort of, in my opinion, like the biggest name in terms of like, not reality star, not influencer, but celebrity.

00:33:50

Yes. Cody Simpson, another one.

00:33:52

Oh, they just said coming soon.

00:33:53

Yeah. Not soon enough. Cody Simpson, another one, big celebrity.

00:33:58

Let's talk about Cody Simpson.

00:33:59

This feels personal.

00:34:00

Somebody we are— this, I completely agree that this feels personal. The arc of like Cody Simpson being like model slash whatever to Olympian to singer, I'm so here for it. Like, I think that the problem with Cody Simpson, why his career has truly never taken off— he's always been so close, like 50 feet from stardom. He was Gigi Hadid. It's like, it's because I think we don't really know him. And I think Traitors is a great place to let people like in on who you are.

00:34:27

Yeah, but I feel like he's gonna sort of fall into that like Colton Underwood, not in terms of as hated as Colton was, but like, you know, man who's trying to get it done, like who's taking the game so serious, doing all the challenges. Like the way that Colton was.

00:34:42

Well, he's very physically fit too. He's an Olympian.

00:34:44

Colton's an athlete as well. I feel like he—

00:34:46

Sorry, he's not an Olympian. That was like the whole thing. He didn't make the Olympic team.

00:34:50

He's engaged to an Olympian.

00:34:52

Oh, good for him.

00:34:53

Remember?

00:34:54

Yeah, yeah, sort of.

00:34:55

Yeah, no, but he's an insane athlete. So I feel like that's gonna be sort of his archetype.

00:35:01

Yeah.

00:35:01

Gisele Bryant, Real Housewives of Potomac.

00:35:04

And you know what, watching Ultimate Girls Trip, she's the Potomac representative, obviously. It's given me like a newfound— I don't watch Potomac so religiously anymore, and I remember towards the end of my time watching, I started to get so annoyed by her. Like, and she's the same person. Like, she's the bone carrier. She heard Lisa say something about the Salt Lake City Housewives, so she runs into the Salt Lake City Housewives and she tells them exactly what Lisa said. She keeps things moving, but she's so owns it. Like, she's actually very refreshing. I think the only way she won't do well on the show is if she's a traitor, because I don't think she's like a sneaky liar. I think her whole thing is that she's so upfront. I don't think she would be a good traitor.

00:35:38

Interesting. Well, the other housewife that we have is Bronwyn from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And now, like, thinking about housewives on the show, last season was so housewives-centric because we had 2—

00:35:47

It kind of ruined it.

00:35:49

Like, yeah, and they won't do that again.

00:35:51

Good. They did kind of ruin it, honestly.

00:35:53

We had 2 in the turret Then we had like 3— then we had Porsha, Dorinda, and Caroline Stanbury. So 5 Housewives total.

00:36:02

Too much.

00:36:03

I think Bronwyn Newport will be excellent.

00:36:05

Me too. I don't know her because I don't watch Salt Lake City, but I'm watching her a lot on Ultimate Girls Trip because she shows up in Atlanta. Um, and I don't like her just based on the limited content I've seen.

00:36:16

I like her, and she's very clever, and she's smart and well-spoken. I think she'll be like I think she'll excel on the show and people will be like, oh, housewife, like doo doo doo.

00:36:25

Ditzy, yeah.

00:36:26

Yeah. Then we have Taylor from Big Brother and Amazing Race, so a gamer.

00:36:30

There were a lot of CBS stars.

00:36:32

Yeah, a lot of gamers. I guess I'll like skip over most of them because we don't know them, but I will say we don't even have to like get to know them because they eliminate them first because they're the smartest.

00:36:40

It's true, it's true. It's kind of annoying.

00:36:41

We never even get to know them. Whitney Liavitt, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

00:36:47

I'm so curious if Connor's short stint on Dancing with the Stars freed them up to do this because— when does this film?

00:36:55

I thought it already filmed.

00:36:57

Oh, you think?

00:36:58

I feel like they film it and then they announce the cast.

00:37:01

But I feel like when they film it, it always gets leaked. Like, we knew who was gonna be on last season before it, you know?

00:37:06

Did we?

00:37:06

But maybe they did. Maybe they did.

00:37:08

Oh, I don't know why I just assumed that, that it's filmed.

00:37:10

No, that's fair. That's fair.

00:37:12

And it's not that long, by the way.

00:37:14

No, it's not. I think overall it's like 2, 3 weeks.

00:37:17

Yeah, okay, but I don't— I might be wrong about that. Then we have Casey Wilson, actress and podcaster.

00:37:25

What's the show? Come on. Bitch Sesh. Yes, an OG Bravo podcast.

00:37:29

And they're always on Watch What Happens Live.

00:37:31

Yeah, and she's also an actress. Like, she has a very familiar looking face. She's very funny. I think she'll be good. I don't know if she would excel more as a traitor or a faithful, but She's funny.

00:37:40

I think that she'll be good because she watches so much reality TV, so she really knows these persons' personalities inside and out, and she could see if someone's being inauthentic.

00:37:49

It's true, that's kind of an advantage.

00:37:50

Like the way that Colton read Rinna to filth.

00:37:53

Because he's a huge Housewives fan.

00:37:55

Not even, he just like picked up on something like so obvious.

00:37:58

The sunglasses!

00:38:00

But the way that she was being is not who she would have been.

00:38:03

Lisa fucking Rinna.

00:38:04

She was so quiet. So not Rinna-like.

00:38:08

Yeah, she got away with it for a long time though.

00:38:09

Yeah. Oh, Cynthia from Real Housewives of Atlanta is also on. I missed that. Cynthia Bailey.

00:38:16

She was not at the event. She wasn't on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. I wonder why.

00:38:21

Hopped it out.

00:38:23

And they had some like true nobodies there.

00:38:25

Yeah, I don't know. Okay, um, she'll, she'll provide fun fodder.

00:38:32

Yeah, I don't think she'll be very good. I feel like she's gonna be confused as to the whole process.

00:38:37

Bianca from RuPaul's Drag Race.

00:38:40

Oh, she's a winner. Bianca what?

00:38:44

Bianca—

00:38:45

They just gave a first name.

00:38:46

Bianca Del Rio.

00:38:47

Yeah, yeah, she's a winner. I don't remember her full personality, but she'll be good.

00:38:55

J'Nah Craig from Love Island USA, the season we didn't watch.

00:38:59

The season we didn't watch. People are very excited about this. It's Jana.

00:39:03

No, I think it's—

00:39:04

Oh, okay, okay.

00:39:06

Janae.

00:39:06

Janae.

00:39:06

I know it's not Jana. That's why I did something different.

00:39:09

I didn't watch, but I was like afraid of your pronunciation.

00:39:12

I did something different because I know it's not Jana.

00:39:15

Got it, okay. People love her. I'm looking forward to getting to know her.

00:39:20

Me as well. Chloe from the Olympics, Chloe Kim.

00:39:24

Oh, Chloe Kim. Is she the snowboarder? Yeah, she's— but she's— yeah, yeah. Oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:39:32

Oh, oh, yeah.

00:39:33

Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:39:34

Jag Bains from Big Brother Amazing Race.

00:39:37

I don't know him.

00:39:38

Bowman, who's a content creator. That's throwing to you, Turdi.

00:39:42

Oh, yes, I think I know. Let me triple check. He like cosplays the Kardashians.

00:39:46

Like Bowmanizer is his handle?

00:39:48

Yes. Oh, oh, yeah, yeah. He does like a lot of reality TV content. That's funny. I was thinking that there were like no influencers, but I guess there's one.

00:39:56

There is one. I always would love to see more, but Me too. It is what it is. Craig Conover, Southern Charm.

00:40:03

So obviously this is what Craig was trying to tell me at the wedding, right?

00:40:07

You think?

00:40:07

He was like, I have so much to tell you, and then I never saw him again.

00:40:09

You think?

00:40:11

Yeah, he knows like I would appreciate like a little bit of gossip like this.

00:40:13

Can you— I wonder if he already filmed. Like, can you, can you find out? But that's exciting. I wonder how he'll do. I don't know if he's—

00:40:22

Allegedly it's currently filming.

00:40:24

Oh.

00:40:25

So I don't need to text him because he won't answer.

00:40:27

I'm cracking up. I, I don't know if he's gonna be amazing. I'll say that.

00:40:33

Okay, here's the thing. I think Craig gets a bad rap because I don't watch Southern Charm, but you've told me he's gotten a reputation for being a liar.

00:40:39

Yeah.

00:40:40

I actually hope for Craig's sake he is not a traitor because then he's gonna be forced to lie and he's gonna be forced to lie to the best of his abilities. And if he does it well, people are gonna be like, see, he's a liar. And if he does it bad, he gets kicked off.

00:40:53

I also think like the crew themselves are going to be looking at him suspiciously because of like, I think he's most akin to Rob of the cast.

00:41:03

Oh, I don't think so.

00:41:04

And like, they're now gonna be like putting him in that box. Yeah, like they always just watch the season, the seasons previous, and then they take away the same thing. There wouldn't be 2 housewives in the turret, or like, you know, it's always the gamers. So I feel like they're gonna be like, oh, it's the, you know, the guy that thinks you're his friend and it's not. But, and then Craig is like very personality-wise, like similar.

00:41:23

Or I could see Craig being like so misunderstood, like being faithful, but he does have this like kind of poor reputation on reality TV. So anybody who comes in like Casey Wilson will bring that up, and he's just like, guys, no. He could be like one of the first to go home being like, guys, it's not me.

00:41:37

I think he's gonna be punished for Rob, and they're gonna be like, oh, we'll see, we would never suspect you, it's you. I—

00:41:43

yeah, well, that's true. Yeah.

00:41:45

Then we have Michelle from Survivor and The Challenge. Uh, Johnny Sibilly, an actor.

00:41:54

Johnny Sibilly. Spell his name.

00:41:56

Johnny S-I-B-I-L-L-Y. I just feel like if you're an actor— I guess I recognize him.

00:42:05

Oh, I know him! He's from Hacks.

00:42:08

Oh.

00:42:09

He plays the guy who does like Deborah's— like, she lives in Las Vegas, she's not allowed to use X amount of water. He's like the water police.

00:42:15

Oh, that's funny. Then Rashad Jennings, NFL star.

00:42:18

Mm-hmm.

00:42:20

Amira from Next Gen NYC.

00:42:22

Oh, you know what? I've been hearing so much about Next Gen NYC. The streets are saying Lexi Wood for Next Gen NYC 'cause she was like sort of like raked over the coals for Summer House. One time, we should say. Like she didn't get her proper— and she's so like next gen.

00:42:37

Bravo owes a debt to Lexi Wood.

00:42:39

I kind of agree.

00:42:40

And I will not rest until that debt is paid.

00:42:43

It's true. Jesse Solomon should introduce her to the casting director, like, just to make things right.

00:42:47

Yep. Joey Grazia Day. The Bachelor.

00:42:51

People fucking love that Joey Grazia Day. I did not watch his season of The Bachelor or Dancing with the Stars, so I know nothing about him, but I just know that people are obsessed with him. He would be a great select for a traitor because he's so beloved.

00:43:08

He might also get that, like, Rob wrath. Edit.

00:43:11

Yeah, we'll see how dumb this group of people is, honestly.

00:43:14

Yes, very true. Also, Joey Graziede is like still with the girl that he chose from The Bachelor.

00:43:19

Not married.

00:43:20

Everything that I've— that's okay.

00:43:22

Yeah, just no, I wanted to like, for the group. Um, I wasn't saying it shady, I swear. Sure, I really wasn't. They're very young.

00:43:29

Um, everything that I see of Joey Graziede is very positive, so I look forward to getting to know him.

00:43:35

I'm on like Dancing with the Stars talk now. They're talking about me and Derek. No kidding. Um, and they like, they show iconic dances, and he had— he won. He had so many. Yes, that's like why people love him so much. Like, and I also saw something so funny that's like actually my life right now. It's like, is Dancing with the Stars so huge, or am I at the Dancing with the Stars age?

00:43:58

No, is Dancing with the Stars so huge, or am I just watching it?

00:44:02

No, no, like I feel that it's always been this sort of like older person show, and it's like, am I the older person now?

00:44:08

It's true, but also as I think about it, I think it's huge.

00:44:12

I think it's huge.

00:44:12

No, I don't think— I think it's always been this as big as it is right now. No, I'm telling you, Alfonso says it's the most votes.

00:44:19

There was a time where somebody like Alex Earle would have never ever gone on this show, and I think that like her saying yes to it is proof that the show is not what it once was.

00:44:27

But I do think like the last couple years when people like the Bobby Bonesgate all of these like huge moments like were huge, we just weren't there.

00:44:35

Oh, agreed. But like, is Dancing with the Stars huge or am I just at that age?

00:44:40

I think Dancing with the Stars is as huge as it's ever been and we're just now watching it, so it feels huge.

00:44:46

I hope so.

00:44:47

But also like Dancing with the Stars, when I think about why I like it so much, obviously I love dance, um, but all I watch is reality TV like, and it's a place where like all my favorite people go, you know, like Yes, that's why I like it.

00:44:59

That's why you also like Traitors.

00:45:00

Yeah, that's why I like it so much. It's like more of this thing that I really like because I love reality TV.

00:45:06

1,000%. And I feel like for so long there were a lot of the shows where it's like random veterans of reality TV shows would go, like Ex on the Beach Island or whatever. But it was like the concepts of the show were so poor.

00:45:17

Yeah.

00:45:18

That I feel like now with Dancing with the Stars, Traitors, these types of shows where like people can go after their stint on reality TV, are also just like good conceptually, like the shows are good.

00:45:29

Yeah.

00:45:29

'Cause this isn't a new concept. MTV's been doing it forever, getting people from The Bachelor. It's like, those shows were gross.

00:45:35

Yeah, and I feel like people like the competition aspect more than like the romance.

00:45:40

Agreed.

00:45:40

Those shows were like trying to get people together.

00:45:42

To a date, yeah.

00:45:44

So I look forward to getting to know Jodi Graziede and saying his name every week.

00:45:48

I think it's Graziede.

00:45:51

Is there an extra vowel? Joey Grazia De.

00:45:57

I like mine better.

00:45:58

Then we have Q from Survivor. Then we have Ian Stirling.

00:46:04

An inspired choice. For those who don't know, Ian Stirling is the British comedian who's behind the voice of all the Love Island narration. He writes it all, he records it all. He's fucking hysterical.

00:46:16

Ian Stirling and Joey Grazia De.

00:46:20

And I just wanna say, like, Ian Stirling is the perfect example of, like, making the most of what you got. He got this random job on Love Island. He could have just truly been, like, a nameless voice. He makes these amazing TikToks. He does his job so well. You can't help but notice the voice. Who— when do you ever notice a voice? Like, it's truly a true example of, like, he got a gig and he turned it into his dream role.

00:46:46

I wonder if, like, him and Janae are going to Sort of team up allies as like the— like, because he's from Love Island, just like Robyn Mora, right?

00:46:56

Let's think about allyships. Like, who does Craig align himself with?

00:47:00

Probably one of the Housewives or Casey Wilson if she likes him. Who knows what like her take on him is, right?

00:47:06

Who did she get in the divorce? Who got Casey Wilson in the divorce?

00:47:09

It's true.

00:47:10

Paige or Craig.

00:47:11

Or maybe he'll be friends with Joy Grazia De.

00:47:14

Yeah, just sort of like Male. I could see— There is like sort of a gendered element to it too because so many of the challenges are like very physical.

00:47:23

But then sometimes like you need a little one.

00:47:25

Yeah, that's why Candace was great for so long. Candace Bissett. Maura as well. Maura as well.

00:47:31

And then I feel like we're overlooking Whitney Liawit. I don't know why.

00:47:34

Yeah, we didn't talk about her like strategically. Um, I don't know, I feel like we don't— she just like is the type of person that's good at everything she does.

00:47:42

I was just about to say, she is good at everything she does. I wouldn't count her out.

00:47:45

She's a good influencer, good reality star, good Good dancer. Good dancer. So yeah, I just feel like she commits like really fucking hard to the shit that she does.

00:47:53

But sometimes like if you just have a target on your back in the beginning, there's no way to help you. Like those guys from last season that were gamers.

00:48:00

But that's why like everyone's so dumb.

00:48:01

Who literally saw the conga line like and knew.

00:48:05

Okay, in hindsight— not even in hindsight, because in the moment like that was insane. First of all, such a dumb conga line, but like the fact that they were able to figure it out.

00:48:15

And so like you're, you're punished for being clever. I guess the, the key is to hide it, to like—

00:48:20

No, but then Lisa Rinna tried to like hide her whole self.

00:48:23

No, or to like be smart and act stupid. However, if you're already known to be smart because you're a gamer and you won an insane show where you have to be brilliant, they know you're smart.

00:48:34

Yeah, well, I love Traitors and I'm looking forward to watching it.

00:48:40

Me as well. We'll see in the turret. Joey Grazia and Ian Stirling.

00:48:45

Oh no, Jackie's local stims are about to go all the way off.

00:48:49

And then I need Joey Grazia and Ian Stirling to join SAG-AFTRA.

00:48:54

Okay, I'm sure they're already in it. Actually, Ian Stirling definitely is. If Joey Grazia and Ian Stirling are the traitors in the turret, we're not— like, you guys are not gonna be able to listen to this show for like 2 months.

00:49:06

We will listen. to the recaps.

00:49:09

I know they're gonna be painful.

00:49:10

Yeah, I can't wait. I can't wait, you guys. Our next story is so crazy. It's been a crazy journey this weekend for Channing Tatum. Channing Tatum is fighting for his life after being accused of running like a, a, a spam hater account, um, called the name of the—

00:49:33

None Ya Business.

00:49:34

Called None Ya Business. So Eagle-eyed fans spotted—

00:49:38

It's crazy that people figured this out.

00:49:40

This weekend, an account called None Ya Business, like, leaving sort of hate comments en du mois of posts about Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles.

00:49:50

Now, there's nothing out of the ordinary with, like, bots. So much celebrity stan culture is literally bots. But this particular bot was curious to people, said eagle-eyed viewers, for 2 reasons. One, because this account was followed by Channing Tatum, his official account. And 2, because this commenter like seemingly exclusively was commenting on posts that related back to Harry Styles, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum, like that orbit of people.

00:50:16

Yes.

00:50:16

So people were very quick to sort of assume that this is Channing Tatum's burner account.

00:50:22

Yes. And like also some of the comments were like referencing things that Channing has said in the past, sort of like deep cuts of public quotes that he made, but like things only really Channing would sort of want to highlight to the group. And yes, the smoking gun was the fact that Channing Tatum followed this account.

00:50:41

And this account had one follower.

00:50:44

Yeah.

00:50:44

Channing Tatum.

00:50:45

So Channing Tatum— and it's just sort of everyone sort of ran with the fact that that is Channing Tatum.

00:50:49

For days.

00:50:50

He was caught running his own Finsta.

00:50:53

Very Normani-esque.

00:50:55

However, he has put out a statement like emphatically stating that it was not him.

00:51:01

Denying the allegations.

00:51:02

Um, he says that he is not behind the account. He said, you know, if he has something to say, that he'll say it.

00:51:10

This is his only official account, and if he was trying to hide a burner account, why would he follow it?

00:51:15

Yeah.

00:51:15

Which I guess, like, is a pretty logical line of thinking. I'm just—

00:51:20

But why do you follow it? Why do you follow, like, this random account? Does he follow a leather— a lot of other accounts that he really can't explain, you know?

00:51:29

I also wanna know if Channing Tatum follows 100 people or 1,000 people. He follows— he has 70— he follows 8,000 people. So I could see, you know, certain celebrities follow like a lot of like their fan accounts or whatever. And if this person is like constantly like DMing Channing and tagging him and stuff, like maybe he just threw them a follow. The 8,000 is actually the most compelling piece of evidence I agree. Although I was sort of like getting comfortable with the idea of like this being his burner account, and like I liked that version better.

00:52:01

Well, here's the thing, whether or not—

00:52:03

Also, his statement read like this. Yeah, by the way, like I can't believe this is how he talks. Yo, I truly can't believe y'all think this is what I'm doing with my free time. Fucking hilarious. Also, why would I follow a burner account if I didn't want people to connect me to it? What the fuck? Come on. But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account, @channingtatum.

00:52:21

Also considering that's how he talks, it's very different from the dialect of Nunya Business.

00:52:26

Also true, but that is a kind of an easy way to throw people off.

00:52:29

It is easy. Change your dialect. I want to say like whether or not it was Channing, like it doesn't matter. People have decided he will never live this down.

00:52:37

I know.

00:52:38

What is happening? It's—

00:52:40

yeah, it's giving Normani, except like with this there is compelling evidence that it's not him. Sometimes somebody gets caught and it's indisputable. And that's what happened to Normani, unfortunately. It also recently happened to Stella Lefty. I don't know if you saw that, running her own like charts Twitter account. So sometimes like a screenshot really exposes you for like 100% being you. This is not—

00:53:03

No, people are too obsessed with it though. They're not gonna— they don't wanna see the truth.

00:53:07

Because it's so funny.

00:53:07

They don't wanna see the truth. They don't wanna move on. They don't wanna hear from him. I personally like don't think it's him, especially given like the 8,000. He probably just like followed, follow for follow, you know, trying to engage with his fans.

00:53:19

Yeah, I don't also see— when I think about the landscape of Channing Tatum's personal life, like, I don't see Zoë Kravitz as the one that got away. I personally see Jessie J as the one that got away. But like, I don't feel like he's hung up on her. I feel like they kind of ran their course. That's just a vibe that I get.

00:53:34

Yeah.

00:53:34

You can always tell when someone's like still pining for someone.

00:53:36

And let's not forget Jenna Dewan, who's now back in the conversation. In the mix.

00:53:41

Oh, there's a kind of drama with Jenna Dewan. Do you see drama with Jenna Dewan?

00:53:45

No.

00:53:46

It's a combination of like Jenna Dewan, but also like the fans like running with stuff. Just 'cause like when you're with your partner on Dancing with the Stars, like you just act inappropriate.

00:53:54

Yes.

00:53:55

Like it is what it is. You dance weird, you hug a lot, you jump into your arms and wrap your legs around them. Like shit you would never do outside of this. And you know, between a lot of social media posts and her looking so much like Jenna, the wife, people are like starting to, you know, say Val is acting inappropriate. And then like Jenna posted something over the weekend about like Val, like something cutesy or whatever. And the comments are like, posting this because of Jenna. Like, oh wait, Jenna Dewan. Oh my, they're both named Jenna.

00:54:22

I know, it's so funny because when we were talking about the casting, I said, you know, and they— why they look alike and their names will start with J.

00:54:28

J. And they end with -enna. Like, it didn't like come to me their names are both Jenna. Yeah, me neither.

00:54:36

I thought they were like a little different. Jenna—

00:54:38

I thought it was like Jenny. Jen and Jenny. Or like Jessie and Jenna.

00:54:42

I don't know. Jenna.

00:54:44

Jenna. Jenna and Jenna. Like, they're both Jenna Dewan and Jenna John.

00:54:48

Sin.

00:54:49

Yeah, well, like, the fans are making this like into something, but like, if you wanted to look for—

00:54:54

Fans do this every season, right?

00:54:57

Yeah, but a lot of times like there are romances. Artem and Bri Bella, Brit Stewart and her husband, Gleb and Brooks.

00:55:08

Yeah, a lot of times there are, but usually not between married people.

00:55:11

No, no. Robert Herjavec though, the exception.

00:55:14

Separated.

00:55:16

So?

00:55:18

So he was separated. Um, and Jenna Dewan's married to Steve Kazee from the Twilight soundtrack.

00:55:27

Yes, exactly.

00:55:30

She's not stepping out with that sort of generational talent.

00:55:33

No, but like, at what point, like, is it weird?

00:55:36

Yeah, well, Do we wanna enjoy our show or do we not wanna enjoy our show?

00:55:40

No, we wanna enjoy our show tonight. It's on tonight.

00:55:42

Yeah. Oh, not tomorrow. Oh, interesting.

00:55:45

No, 'cause today's Tuesday. It's confusing.

00:55:47

No, no, I'm just used to it being Tuesday, Wednesday because of last week.

00:55:50

No, just Tuesday, which is like, it's enough.

00:55:52

Tomorrow night freed up. Interesting.

00:55:54

I was thinking again, 'cause I don't know if you've seen, but NBC— am I okay? The Voice just returned with kind of like a stellar coaching lineup. Have you seen? Kelly Clarkson. Ugh, they brought back Adam Levine. Like, enough. Do the people really wanna see Adam Levine? I don't think so. Riley Green and Queen Latifah. Like, it's kind of this all-star. And so again, I don't know, like, is The Voice becoming good or am I just at the age where I wanna watch The Voice? Because this morning I literally scrolled TikTok watching every single audition.

00:56:27

Unless it's reality stars competing on The Voice. There, there is, which is Celebrity Voice. Yeah. And that's why I will watch that. 'Cause I only watch that.

00:56:35

Who are the judges for the Celebrity Voice? Did we do that?

00:56:37

No, I don't know. Oh, but I thought about— I thought it was Masked Singer Sing— oh no, that's—

00:56:43

No, it's The Voice.

00:56:44

I should watch more Masked Singer.

00:56:46

You should.

00:56:47

That is like the same thing.

00:56:48

But this is The Voice Celebrity, so it's like, who are The Voice coaches for the celebrities?

00:56:52

Interesting.

00:56:54

It's nice to see Kelly out there. Like, obviously things are slowing down on the, on the daytime show front, picking up other gigs.

00:57:02

Yeah, but it's not— it's not that she wants to work less.

00:57:07

No.

00:57:07

Are you ready for our 4th story?

00:57:10

Oh my God, no. I'm like sitting here like so daily. Is it— do we have Secret Lives of Mormon Wives drama?

00:57:14

Yeah.

00:57:14

Okay, I've been meaning to tell you that. I want to talk about that.

00:57:16

Actually, 4th is, um, it's crazy that it's 4th, but it's Learned This.

00:57:21

Oh good, I want to talk about that too because that's— I saw— I was watching football, looking for Taylor, and I saw Riley Green and Queen Latifah. It was an NBC game, so they obviously brought them to Kansas City to like do something promotional. I was like, Riley Green and Queen Latifah are the hosts of The Voice. I think I need to watch. Well, let me let you know that these kind of titillating 4th and 5th stories are brought to you by Macy's. 01:02:27

Our next story, Taylor Swift celebrated Chiefs touchdown. Travis scored a touchdown at the game this weekend. She said, that's my husband, pointing to her ring. Also, Travis is buying Taylor a gun for Christmas.

01:02:42

That clip cracked me up. It was obviously like a blooper from the cutting room floor of New Heights that they decided to post. They didn't like know that they were being recorded. And they're watching Taylor's Emmys Mariska Hargitay skit. And the producer's like, all right, we're ready. He was like, oh, sorry. Like I was— and they— and he's basically saying—

01:03:00

He said she looks kind of hot with a gun on her waist.

01:03:03

And then Travis goes, ah, Jesus. It actually cracked me up.

01:03:09

That's what you took from that? And Travis was like, now I know what you mean. to get her for Christmas.

01:03:13

I mean, what do you get the girl who has everything?

01:03:14

A gun.

01:03:16

That's beautiful. Now let me say this, I watched a little bit of Taylor at the game, um, and I learned a lot about the game, you know, like the team.

01:03:25

How's Travy doing?

01:03:27

So there's this new guy, and obviously like everyone's really excited about it. I can't remember his name, I'm sorry, but he's, you know, let me just— let me get his name. And he's like scoring all the points and stuff, and it's obviously great for the Chiefs because the Chiefs like We're on this generational run. I think last season was sort of like a flop. They had this like really highly produced commercial with Nikki Glaser cuz she's from Missouri and it was all about how like everybody hates us, we're building a dynasty, but like we're back. Like their whole mantra this year is like, we're back. We've appeared in 5 outta 7 of the most recent Super Bowls. Like we're back. Last year was a fluke. Sorry about that. And I think this new guy is a huge part of it and he's kind of like putting Travis out a little bit just cuz like Travis's job is like to run and catch and score. And like, this guy's like doing that, you know?

01:04:06

Mm-hmm. Well, Travis is gonna retire soon, so like you do need to like— Right. Of course. Fill the shoes before there's a gap, before there's nobody wearing the shoes.

01:04:15

Kenneth Walker III. He's an all-star running back. He signed a 3-year deal with them after winning the Super Bowl in Seattle.

01:04:23

Got it. Last year. Last year Seahawks won.

01:04:28

Yeah.

01:04:29

Okay, so that's good.

01:04:31

No, it is good. But so I think the fact that Travis scored a touchdown is kind of like huge.

01:04:35

Like also huge considering, you know, last season, right? Not his best, you know. So that's very exciting and hopefully means he has a great season ahead of him. And I think it's his last season. We say that every year, so you want your last to be great.

01:04:51

I also think that—

01:04:52

But then when it's great, you're like, should it be my last?

01:04:55

I know, it's like kind of this catch-22. But if you find yourself asking, oh, my last season was so great, should it be my last? The answer is yes.

01:05:02

Yeah.

01:05:03

Now, I feel that we can pretty much— we can never guess what she's gonna do, but I feel like she's going to be at pretty much all the home games now. Like, that's her husband.

01:05:17

Yeah.

01:05:17

She has this great relationship with the family that owns the stadium and the team, and they always, you know, they get her in, security, everything. I feel like, yeah, she's— Yeah, I'm gonna be there.

01:05:28

She's doing, you know, revving up some like work stuff. She's set to definitely be honored at the MTV VMAs with a new award called the Artist Director Honors that she will be receiving.

01:05:42

They just make shit up.

01:05:44

On Sunday at the VMAs, which does like clear her to give a speech and perhaps an announcement. It's giving announcement.

01:05:50

I thought we were gonna get announcement at the CMAs and it was gonna be like more, 'cause she keeps like saying country country.

01:05:55

We could get more announcements at the CMAs.

01:05:58

I feel that the VMAs are so irrelevant to like genuine culture. Um, but I think she has a very complicated relationship with them, of course, like the Kanye thing. She's always like doing the most at the VMAs.

01:06:11

Yeah.

01:06:12

Her, her, uh, re-record like medley, remember?

01:06:15

Right.

01:06:16

She does a lot of shit there.

01:06:17

I think it's just like a safe place where there's a camera crew and a stage and you can do whatever you want.

01:06:23

Yeah, I guess it doesn't matter.

01:06:24

Like, anyone can do whatever they want at the VMAs if you just— if you'll just show up, you can seriously do whatever you want.

01:06:32

It's just annoying because I really wasn't planning on watching the VMAs and now I sort of have to.

01:06:36

No, no, I don't think I can watch, honestly. But, um, just like text me when she's getting her award.

01:06:41

Coming.

01:06:41

I'll come in for that.

01:06:43

Okay.

01:06:44

I actually don't think I can handle it.

01:06:46

That's what I mean. I'm almost like annoyed at her for making me even consider it and like talk about the VMAs.

01:06:51

And that like I have to say VMAs on the show.

01:06:53

I know, I know.

01:06:54

Like, I know, I'm just— I'm watching Dancing with the Stars.

01:06:59

It's sort of like a full-time job.

01:07:00

No, no, it's one or the other. Like, I'm not in my VMAs era.

01:07:04

No, and I don't think you're alone in that. Yeah.

01:07:08

Um, so yeah, Big cute weekend for Lorde Vis. I feel like lots percolating there.

01:07:13

The percolation. Lots percolating. The new haircut is so good.

01:07:17

The face is so good.

01:07:19

Yes, everything is looking really good over at Taylor Nation HQ.

01:07:22

Yeah, there was like a picture of her from the game this weekend, like with her hands on her hips, like standing at the— in the box, and like she looks insane.

01:07:29

Her arms are jacked. Like, she looks amazing. Like, she obviously did like a wedding arms series. It's very popular to get your arms in check for your wedding. Um, and they look great. And maybe we'll never get a picture of her at the wedding, but now we know what her arms looked like.

01:07:42

Yeah, we'll never know what her arms looked like at her actual wedding, but, but we will know what they looked like 2 months later.

01:07:48

Yeah.

01:07:49

Are you ready for our 5th and final story?

01:07:52

Yes.

01:07:52

Taylor Frankie Paul announces that she's stepping away from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after allegedly failing her court-ordered drug test and citing disgusting bullying from her castmates.

01:08:04

The crazy thing is that But she decided to step down and like her, after all of this, right? Losing custody of her kids, failing a drug test, like all these terrible things that she did. And her statement is all about like the girls' TikToks and like them cyberbullying me.

01:08:18

Well, what happened was—

01:08:20

Layla happened.

01:08:21

Layla happened. Who'd have thunk? Layla would be the one to put her in her place.

01:08:26

They're fighting on TikTok.

01:08:27

They're fighting on TikTok and she fights so dirty and nasty. We were just saying how she's like to Jason, oh, but you didn't have me in your bedroom. Like, yeah, she's like, Nasty always comes.

01:08:35

She goes there.

01:08:35

The way that she fought on the show, just like saying the nasty— like when she goes to this place of just like dark place, and I'm just gonna say the meanest thing, and there's like no line that she won't cross. And she's accusing— so she's fighting with like Miranda and Leila in the comments. She's like, you guys are jealous of me, whatever. And Leila writes back, jealous of the girl who gets 8 hours a week with her kids? I don't think so.

01:08:58

And you know what, it sort of had to be said.

01:09:00

A conversation ender.

01:09:03

Because that's what we said last week, like Taylor's social media is completely devoid of what's going on in reality. And so for Taylor— I mean, for Leila to just like bring reality to the comment section, I really appreciated. And the fact that like we've now learned all this stuff about Taylor and her reason for leaving is because I think she was being mean to me. It's like, girl, that's not what happened.

01:09:22

So then she posted— so after that sort of went silent, you know. Yeah, right.

01:09:27

Laila shut shit down.

01:09:28

Yeah, she shut it down. Then Taylor posted like a long-winded thing on Instagram saying that her gratitude goes out. I almost didn't read it because she's always talking like this, but I was like, let me see.

01:09:36

Oh my God, it's so true.

01:09:37

Gratitude goes out to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However, I don't desire to move forward like this. She then lashed out at her castmates saying they engaged in a pile-on. She wrote that laughing about my kids is disgusting.

01:09:50

Um, that's like not really what happened.

01:09:53

No, that's not what happened.

01:09:55

And I agree that like kids are off limits, but like, at what point can we stop circling the drain as to what's really going on with you?

01:10:01

No, we're not— that no one was laughing at her kids, they were laughing at her.

01:10:07

Correct.

01:10:08

Um, she also like hinted at, you know, the fact that she's made a mistake that all of them are guilty of making some, um, and that, you know, she's just the one paying the ultimate price for it. I don't know what that means specifically, like maybe having done drugs or drinking.

01:10:23

Wait, read it again.

01:10:26

Let me get the exact verbiage.

01:10:30

It— I, I actually, I can't even lie, I did not read it. Her statement, her— she's so verbose. Oh, she is. And she's just like tells lies. Like, I'm like, girl, what are you talking about? I live here in reality.

01:10:40

No, I was shocked to find that there was actually some meat in the statement that said, um, okay, so here's the statement: my gratitude goes to all the network. And there was screenshots of like pictures of her with screenshots of like her fans' comments on it, of people defending her, like the comments that she liked. She found 2 of them. My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However, I don't desire to move forward like this. I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress, and I'm back to that point. Some of the girls know what I've been through and then turn and collectively pile on with their statements, knowing there has been ongoing abuse through the system the last 8 months on top of what I've endured. Almost the entire cast plus some going at me, laughing about my kids is disgusting, and I bit my tongue there. These same people had meetings telling me I need to lead the way of pay. My voice was the only one that can make it happen, and then they would work from what I demanded.

01:11:33

I'm grateful I never followed through with their requests of demands, and I'm grateful I kept same pay out of fairness and integrity. I treated production and crew with respect always. In fact, they are the ones who checked on me throughout I agree, it's to the point of bullying for months now. What makes it harder to take in is some of these parents have made mistakes that would result in the same judgment I'm receiving, yet pointing a finger. However, I feel like she's accusing them of having done drugs and—

01:12:01

Yes.

01:12:01

Get drunk and wild and crazy. However, it's a pleasure to remove myself so they can continue because I'm almost convinced myself I'm deserving of all this pain. And to a certain degree, absolutely. this is consequences of my actions. My question has been how much suffering and scrutiny is going to be enough. I'm just relieved to be out.

01:12:17

And we are so tired. Like, I am so tired. I don't even know what the hell you're talking about. I also don't feel like she's really stepping back. This is just giving like attention-seeking statement. Mikayla was asked like, oh well, Taylor's gone, does this mean like you're— you'll come back? And she said no. Like, the whole— and I agree with her. It's like, well, it's nice that Taylor's stepping back. The fact that like the show would have chosen her to continue. Like, who wants to be part of that? It's like, it's just icky and gross and trashy.

01:12:41

Yeah, but this is what I was saying last week. Like, I felt like Mikayla's statement and position had gained so much steam that it was like, I feel like something actually might happen because of this. I never expected the network to like choose Mikayla over Taylor. They just never would. But yeah, I guess Taylor seeing that— imagine you're Taylor and the whole world is—

01:12:58

And it's like, finally, like, the fans have never, not once like given Taylor any sort of grief. Like, they just love her.

01:13:05

Yeah, so if the whole world is taking the side of the girl who said that she won't be anywhere that you are and everybody wants to, like, you know, see her and be with her, then okay, then I'll leave. But this is also so classic Taylor. Like, she's so aggressive, she's so nasty in the comments, in everything that she says, and then when she gets it back, she's a victim.

01:13:22

Yeah, no, she's like textbook narcissist. It's so painful to watch and listen. And I just want to say, like, Layla and Miranda— like, I love what Layla said. Like, somebody needed to say it, but I'm so tired of these spineless women. Like, only after Mikayla went out on a limb and was like, listen, I'm not comfortable doing this anymore, and got so rewarded for that, did the other girls feel empowered to be like, oh, now the fans won't hate us, let me say something mean to Taylor. Like, they're so fucking immature, they're so not principled. And it's like, yeah, I love that she ate her up, but it's like, why did you feel like— why were you only empowered to do that now? And it's because, like, it's not brave now.

01:13:58

No, it's not brave now. I completely agree. They are all followers. The only one who was brave was Mikayla. And I will also say Macy for not backing down in the confrontation, knowing that Taylor's fans might hate them and everyone who watches the show might hate them.

01:14:12

And knowing that was a consequence and like, whatever.

01:14:14

Yeah, whatever. Jesse was not prepared to do it.

01:14:18

Nope. But Miranda and Leila were certainly not.

01:14:20

They didn't say anything. At least Jesse tried. Like, she was saying a similar thing to Mikayla and Macy, but like couching it so soft. But that's also her personality. Like, I don't think I think that if she started now trashing Taylor, like, because—

01:14:33

Lame.

01:14:34

That would be lame. But this is her personality to just like try and like be a peacemaker. So I don't, I don't really have an issue with that. But to be that way and then come out swinging only because it's popular is lame.

01:14:46

And what's the same pay thing that Taylor's saying? Is that they all ended up getting paid the same?

01:14:50

It sounded like the girls wanted her to go to production and demand more pay, and they told her like how to do that. And because they felt like production— I'm just just making this up, but based on what she's saying, trying to like make sense of this pile of mush. She, uh, yeah, it sounded like that they wanted her to go to production to demand more pay because production would listen to her. She is like the leader of MomTok.

01:15:11

And she would— they, they were asking her to negotiate on all their behalves because they all get paid the same.

01:15:16

I do think they all get paid the same.

01:15:17

And me too, because you also can see they're executive producers now in the credits, all of them.

01:15:21

Yes. And remember like the Demi conversation when she was trying to get more money and then Taylor was like, even I'm I'm not trying to get more money and I'm like the star of the show.

01:15:30

No, you need to negotiate. You need to all be paid the same. It gives you a lot of power against the network.

01:15:34

It gives you power. It's the only way the show can sort of stay on the rails in terms of personality.

01:15:39

I'm sorry, Taylor, while she might be the star, she never shows up.

01:15:42

No, but like her drama was always bigger. She was providing more. So yeah, the people who show up all the time, honestly, I don't want to hear from you all the time.

01:15:48

I know, your drama is not the one I'm interested in.

01:15:50

So up until now, it's like, even though I don't really care so much about like relationship drama, but it was just like Taylor in general is just very fascinating.

01:16:02

Yeah.

01:16:02

And chaotic. Um, but we've all had our fill, I guess, and, and things have just gotten to a point. And I feel like even they got to a point in, in when we saw the video and, and people were starting to like give grace for that. But to see the behavior that was on this season, and even though the behavior on the season is from before that video came out. So imagine she changed drastically after, after she was thoroughly canceled. Like, imagine that, because that's what I was sort of thinking. Like, and I'll give her grace because the big thing hasn't happened yet and she's still like just this moron.

01:16:35

But yeah. And a lot of times going through like a big public scandal like that, like, does change you to your core.

01:16:40

1000%.

01:16:40

I think we now realize Taylor is a person who's not capable of change.

01:16:43

For me, it's all this stuff that's happening online now that the season has aired and her fighting with the girls and like not really taking accountability and just like getting so nasty. it just speaks to the fact that she's still defending the person that she was when the season aired, when the season was filmed.

01:16:59

So I'm out. Yeah, right. She's like vouching for herself and it's like, girl, you're indefensible.

01:17:04

Yeah. If you had been like the first one to be like, oh my gosh, watching this back, like, Macy and Michaela were so right, this was such a hard time in my life. Like, plus compounding it with like the drug test failure and the loss of custody. Yeah. And just the refusal Then so that's, that's present day, you know, still not making the changes needed to have the agency over your life and your family. Like, I'm out.

01:17:27

Yeah. And I don't know if she's actually leaving because she does seem like the type to do shit like this for attention.

01:17:32

Yes.

01:17:32

But notes and like, and to garner the fans back. Yeah. Oh no, Taylor, we love you, come back, we'll help you, we'll keep your secret. Um, but like, I really hope it's real, even though I don't know what that even means for the future of the show because Mikayla's not coming back. So what now? and we all are gonna have to watch The Secret Lives of OC Wives. Like, I'm okay.

01:17:49

Will MomTok survive this? Bring it back to me. I don't know.

01:17:54

Yeah.

01:17:54

We're ready. And Whitney.

01:17:56

Yeah. Yeah.

01:18:00

And like, where's Jen Affleck in all of this?

01:18:03

Oh yeah.

01:18:04

She's like not a part of the group. I'm like—

01:18:06

No.

01:18:07

It's, it's—

01:18:08

She like posted like, I only have videos like this from this season. It's like her with her kids. I was like, okay, but you were there the whole time, so what happened?

01:18:15

No, her position is very strange.

01:18:18

Well, it's awkward because she looks like such a moron for being used like a pawn into that argument. And now it's like, girl, is that the side you wanna be on?

01:18:26

Yeah.

01:18:27

She just had nowhere else to go.

01:18:28

She's just staying quiet. That's what she should do.

01:18:31

You know what? It's a good tactic.

01:18:33

Mm-hmm.

01:18:34

Well—

01:18:34

But seriously, blink and you might miss it.

01:18:37

This drama never ends over in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. But they're not filming.
