Good morning, girlies, it's The Toast.
It's Jax and Claude and we're your hosts.
It's your favorite show, the fast 5 things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, it's The Toast.
I sound amazing.
Welcome back to The Toast and happy Thursday. Hope everybody's having a beautiful Start to the end of the week. Hey, Jacqueline Follet, how are you?
I am good, Turtaloo.
And?
Turtaloo, how are you?
Well, in the words of the principal from Mean Girls, my carpal tunnel's back. And let me tell you, I only get carpal tunnel when I'm pregnant. I got it very light the first time. I just remember like tingly feelings. Let me tell you, this shit is fucking hell. You guys see me, you see like a model.
Beautiful girl.
You have no idea what's going on. Yeah, and I also have wet hair today. I don't know if I've ever in the history of the show done the toast with wet hair, but Jackie and I are— We're modeling today. We're modeling on duty.
And like, it's not just like we're models on a shoot, like it's our shoot.
It's like a whole big affair.
We're gonna be on a shoot all day.
Hair, makeup.
Hair, makeup.
I showered this morning and I was like, I'm getting a blowout in 1 hour, I'm not doing my hair. So I guess we're wet dogging it at the toast.
You could've done an updo.
I was wearing my hair in a claw clip, like a nice slick, and then I saw the monitor here and I just looked bald. Um, and I am that meme, like what you think you look like in a slick black versus what you actually look like. I look like Jacob from Twilight, not Kendall Jenner.
Mm-hmm. The good thing is though, you have like beautiful natural hair. Like you coming on here with a wet head is not brave whatsoever.
No, I didn't think it was brave. I wasn't looking for attention.
It's better than most people on their best day.
Wait, sorry, I've been meaning to ask you something.
Uh-huh.
Will you sign my cast?
Of course.
Do we have a Sharpie in the building?
I don't know why we would.
Do we have a Sharpie? I don't know why we wouldn't. Yeah, what are you gonna write? Like, don't write something mean. And you're pretty much the only— I see you, you're plotting.
Oh, before you asked, I was just gonna write like Jackie.
You are probably the only person who's gonna sign this.
I think I'll write—
There's a Sharpie.
Oh, silver.
Silver, perfect.
I think I'll write, put your phone down.
Jackie thinks I have carpal tunnel because I'm on my phone too much, which couldn't be further from the truth. I'm such a present person. It's common in pregnancy. Like, I don't know what you want me to tell you.
I think it's common in pregnancy, obviously, like your bones are going through it, but also you're on your phone more in pregnancy with your bones going through it, thus. But I'll—
Don't, don't put your— don't put that on my cast.
Don't put the negativity.
Like, for real, I'll get a new cast. I actually have 2. I bought 2.
Okay. I'll write an uplifting message.
This was like my fucking dream.
I'll write an uplifting message of positivity.
I never broke any bones in like my adulthood, young adulthood, but all I wanted to was break a—
I can't really see it.
Shine on, Turdy. I love that. Oh, a little autograph, of course. Shine on, Turdy, shine on. I love that.
Isn't that beautiful?
Very empowering.
It's really true, actually.
It's very beautiful.
And it's like subtle, you know?
I never broke any bones or anything like in middle school, but for some reason it was like my dream.
Yeah, I think everyone.
To like have a cast and be like asked about it. And so I'm obviously like, I'm walking into the room splint first 'cause I want people to be like, Oh my God. Even when I walked in this morning, everyone was like, what happened to your hand?
And what does this mean for the shoot?
I can take it off for the shoot, but honestly, that's it.
And then back on, right?
I don't think it would be good for, you know, the project we're launching for me to be there in a splint. Like I barely look good as it is with my pale skin and my big belly. Like I'm not bringing a splint into the equation.
Yeah.
But just know, like, I'm really suffering and shout out to my carpal tunnel girlies. Like people have carpal tunnel not pregnant. Yeah, that's insane.
Well, they could take an Advil.
I was saying to Ben last night what I would do to like crush up and snort an Advil, you guys. I needed it desperately. I love Advil. That's, you know, every pregnancy— again, I've only had 2— every time there's like one thing you really miss. It's Advil this time. I'm having so many things that just like pop an Advil.
Yeah.
I love an Addie, as the kids call it.
As they don't call it.
Today is Thursday. Which doesn't mean much for the show. That's exciting. It gives us room to sort of freely create.
Mm-hmm.
Um, which we love to do. We've got stories we love to do.
We do have stories. We have these new iPad cases just because now that we're nominated to be nominated for a Golden Globe, we have to elevate. Everything is sort of leveling up around here.
And shout out to, uh, one of our listeners, Lauren Elizabeth, for saying—
Our loyal listener.
She was like, if you don't pick those fucking iPads up, I guess in our current setup, like our iPad's laying flat, like you could literally see the things we're reading. And she's like, it's really distracting and ugly. So yeah. We got acrylic stands.
And that's just something that I think the Golden Globes would appreciate.
That level of detail and that level of creativity is definitely what they're looking for. And I think part of the reason why we were included on the list of potential nominees to be nominated.
But we were included for last year, so these acrylic stands don't count towards this year.
Right. And isn't that amazing that we were able to get on the list without such an important, crucial sort of shining moment for us?
And if we don't get the nominated to be nominated list onto the nominated. Maybe next year we will, now that we have these stamps.
Maybe that's what was missing.
Yeah.
Getting us there. Maybe. Just another day being nominated.
Just another day. I need— when do the Golden Globe nominations come out?
Oh, 'cause you know, I was thinking this morning.
We have to have a countdown to the day.
Not only that, like, you know how everybody films themselves when they think they like might be nominated? Like, we need to bring a camera crew because if we don't get nominated, it will be hilarious. And if we do, like, we need that.
We—
it's, it's January 2nd, but it's also at like the crack of dawn. We'll have to wake up early.
That's good. No, no, I'm—
We should get—
nobody look.
We watch them live here.
No, no, no, we'll get together.
No, we have a TV.
Like, it's January 2nd though.
Oh, sorry, we're on vacation.
We're off, I think, until like—
All right, so we'll all have to wake up early and like go to your house.
Yeah, and, and don't look at your phone cuz you know, like, our publicist will text us.
No, no, no, we're watching it live, Jackie.
Oh, we're watching it live.
Well, it happens in LA, I think.
It's on Saturday.
That's weird. What is it, like 9:00 AM?
I don't know.
Well, we'll be watching.
It's gonna be a really long time, which is good because it gives us like a lot of time to really talk about this.
To get— also like to get over it.
Because if it doesn't happen, like then the fun is over.
It's so true.
So honestly, the later the better.
Mm-hmm.
What else can I tell you?
Sort of like nothing else, you know? It's all that there is.
No. And we have this photo shoot today and like—
Jackie and I were discussing, you know, we, we often talk about our careers at a glance and I feel like we're very self-aware and we're actually very self-critical too of like, you know, Why aren't we, you know, there, right there? And the reason why Jackie and I, we've realized actually this morning, the reason why we will never be like at the level like that Alex Earle is at, it's because the amount of photo shoots that are required of you at that level is too much. We have a photo shoot this week and one next week. And when I tell you it's ruined my entire month, like it's ruined.
And we haven't done a photo shoot years in a year. And it's the worst day. Like, I don't know if other creators and models—
I think they love it.
I, I dread.
And that's what's so— we're standing in our own way. Like the fact that this has been like a life ruining— no, we knew this day was gonna come like for the last couple of months and it's ruined my life since I found out.
And the thing is like, if things go well with our business, we'll have to do more, probably more photo shoots.
And I feel like that's where for me, I see the most potential in AI because I cannot, I don't know, obviously like the whole, the insecurity element of it is huge. Like when I'm happy with myself, which is very rare, obviously it's a little bit easier.
It's better, but it's still.
It's not work I personally enjoy doing at all. And I feel that now I kind of realize like that's what's stopping us from reading, reaching our greatest potential.
Yeah. And other creators have like so many photo shoots in their arsenal, you know, and like pictures to choose from. And they're just always like posting stuff of professional photos. And like we have, like, I can recall 2.
No. And it's like those 2 were the worst days of my life.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's why we'll never be successful. Like honestly, this, this is our limitation.
Yeah. I draw the line at a photo shoot.
Like, it's true.
I just can't do it.
It's really true.
Even when you do like a really high budget one where there's a million people there to pamper you and get the food.
I'm sorry. The bigger the worse.
Yeah, right. The smaller the better. We're in and out.
That's like how Kim has like her office and her studio and like it's all in-house and she like goes and just shoots.
Maybe she also hated photo shoots and that's why she built that.
And then she brought them at home. Like, I guess if we had like a photo shoot studio—
We would still hate it.
In our house, it would be better.
It would be better, of course.
Not like the 40 minutes we have to drive today for our photo shoot. Like, we carpooled though because I'm not driving on the highway.
Models on duty today. Yeah, yeah, that's why my hair is wet and my carpal tunnel flaring up at like the worst possible time. Like, as if today couldn't be more challenging for me emotionally and physically, I also have my carpal tunnel. Like, you just can't make this shit up. This shit always happens to me, you guys. Yeah, and I want to shout out to our hard of hearing community because I've actually heard from them. Um, they say, Claudia, in this new studio, like, you cover your mouth with the microphone and if you're reading lips Like it makes it very difficult. And I'm really struggling to balance between like wanting to be heard by my hard of hearing community and cover my double chin with the microphone. Cuz like when my mic is like this, just know I feel insecure. When it's down here, it's, I'm feeling good. So to the hard of hearing community, if you can't hear me today, it's because my hair is wet. You know?
Yeah.
Like I'm already dealing with a lot. The carpal tunnel, the photo shoot.
Put on closed captions.
Yes, of course.
That helps.
I'm aware and I'm working on it. I'm trying to do better.
Yeah. But like this, is a feature, not a bug.
You know, the microphones in our faces. 1,000%. I love that phrase.
I love that phrase.
Say it again.
Like, it's a feature, not a bug, right?
Like, it's a positive, not a negative.
It's not something that went wrong.
It's something that went right. I gotta add that. I always hear good phrases and then I have like a, I like wanna implement them into my life.
I think you have a list. I think you have a list.
'Cause I mean, one that I've like really worked on Like adapting into my vernacular, and I've used it a couple of times organically, is stealing Peter to pay Paul. I love that little like limerick.
Yeah.
And it's not a feature— no, it's not a bug, it's a feature.
Mm-hmm. I love that. It's good.
Yeah.
So this—
Let me just adjust my microphone. There we go.
Well, let's get into the story, shall we?
Oh, sure, sure, sure.
Um, we've got some good stuff to talk about today. I'm excited.
Do I? I feel like I don't even remember.

Love that.
Our first story, Joe Manganiello reveals his 7-year battle with mysterious autoimmune disease that says nearly killed him.
I'm having déjà vu. We were in this studio talking about Joe Manganiello's autoimmune disease.
Yes, we were talking about his forthcoming memoir called Bloodlines, where he would be talking about the autoimmune disease that he's been battling for the last 7 years. And now, like, some excerpts of the book have come out. And it's tea, especially as it relates to Sofia Vergara.
Okay, 'cause I was gonna say, like, I'm looking for things about Sofia Vergara in this book, not necessarily his autoimmune disease. So if like the big headline is about his disease—
Um, so for 7 of the last 10 years, he was secretly fighting mysterious autoimmune illness so virulent it nearly killed him. In his new book, which comes out October 13th, he opens up about recovering from a health battle that led to major organ amputation and contributed to the end of his 7-year marriage to Sofia Vergara.
Oh wow.
He says, I can't believe I'm alive. I feel like I was reborn. He said it started with excruciating abdominal pain that left him unable to walk as his digestive tract ulcerated, along with fevers, blistering rashes, headaches, and fatigue. He even began bleeding from his rectum while still a newlywed. He said, I was getting sicker and sicker. Um, he talks a lot about like the medication, the surgeries, and all of that. I know that you are curious about the—
The rectal bleeding.
Yeah. Of it all. The rectal bleeding.
Okay.
I'm good. The Sofia Vergara.
Yeah, of course.
He said as he cycled through hospitals searching for answers, his illness took a toll on his marriage, which he writes had quote, become devoid of any emotionality whatsoever. He claims in the book that Sophia refused to hug him even when he begged, and that she ridiculed him for his 5-pound Chihuahua named Bubbles, who was a sickly little pup that he had adopted in 2019 when Manganiello was considering suicide. He said, I had to give my gun away because I kept thinking about it, and then the dog came. I went from being the patient to the caretaker. And I guess she would make fun of the dog. Um, the couple's dream of having a child together had also been dashed.
Right.
Sophia would later tell a newspaper that their marriage broke up because her husband was younger and he wanted to have kids and I didn't wanna be an old mom. But Joe says he gave up the idea because of his illness after failed IVF attempts led them to considering egg donors. He said he didn't want to die and leave her with a child who wasn't biologically hers. Oh wow. That's heavy stuff.
That is.
He said writing this book was his way of correcting the record. He said there were things said and printed about me that were false.
That's so interesting because I feel like, and somebody who followed the breakup very closely, cuz this at one point was my biggest celebrity crush.
Mm-hmm.
Um, I don't feel like he came out looking like a bad guy at all. I think it's like a very reasonable thing when you are dating an older woman who has kids and she's grown and you don't have kids. Like, it's sort of a sticking point. And if you're not willing to change your mind, which you shouldn't if you feel strongly one way or the other, I didn't think that he came out looking bad. So he feels like he needs to like vindicate himself when I don't really know what— from what. And I don't know, there are like certain things in a marriage, like, I just feel like even in your memoirs should be off limits.
I agree.
And it's so easy to make her look like the bad guy when you're writing, like, I'm sick and I'm rectal bleeding and she's mean to me. And it's like, well, I'm sure that's not 100% what it was.
The refusal to hug is giving Carl in the kitchen, like, can I get a hug?
1,000%.
And it's like, it's not the time for a hug. So no, I'm not refusing to hug you.
No, of course, hearing that Lindsay wouldn't hug Carl, like, oh, Lindsay's mean.
That sounds bad.
Knowing the context of why the fuck would I hug you?
You just hashed it out and now you're trying to come, And you were just so annoying back then, like stop. So there are— I'm just citing that to show that there are instances where a hug is not appropriate.
No, and like refusing to give a hug doesn't make you the bad guy immediately.
Not all the time.
Yeah, like there are instances where it's like, you shouldn't have asked.
Get your hug out of here.
Yeah, so I feel like when you— and I feel like they had a real marriage, like even though it ended poorly or whatever, I feel like it was— I think that like you do sort of owe your partner privacy. And this kind of like makes me not like him.
That's crazy. But when I do think back to like what, what the prevailing narrative was from like the end of their relationship, he did go on to date someone younger.
Younger.
And it did seem like, oh, if he wants kids, he can't have them with her. She doesn't want kids, so they're gonna split up. And, but that's like, you know, natural.
That's a very normal reason to break up with someone. That's not bad or good.
Right. But he's saying that's not it at all.
Um, that he moved on from having kids in general because of his own health issues.
Because of his health issues. And they were using an egg donor and if they had a child together, it wouldn't be biologically hers. and he—
if he died, right, to her. So, but, so why is the reason they broke up? He doesn't say that.
Because there was no emotionality.
Oh, right, because she wouldn't hug him in front of the dog.
And that's another— like, she's a jokester.
One, one thing about Sofia Vergara, she's gonna make a joke.
She's gonna make a joke.
She's got that very, like, Latin sense of humor.
She makes a joke about everything, and, like, she gets away with it because she's so funny. But, like, she definitely makes offensive jokes, and I could see her doing that even more so in private about the dog.
Like, Yeah, I just feel like, I don't know, all of this seems like really low-hanging fruit to make people dislike Sofia Vergara. Like, she wouldn't hug me and she made fun of the dog. And it's like, I'm kind of— I'm looking deeper. I'm not, I'm not believing everything Joe Manganiello is telling me about the marriage.
Yeah, maybe like there's more in the memoirs where it's like, okay, that was like the, the worst point. And then, you know, it gets better and we have— we're copacetic and she's a great woman. But like, that's some of the tea of like what went wrong between them.
Yeah. And then I think also, like, I need to be, like, very careful about how I say this. I think also when you bring up, like, your experience with, like, suicidal thoughts and, like, ideology to, like, make someone look bad— ideation, thank you, not ideology— when you bring it up, like, to make someone look bad, or, like, I don't know, I don't like that. Like, she was making fun of the dog not because the dog saved you from suicide. Like—
It's probably like a barking little rat.
Of course. And it's like, I just feel like it's kind of a manipulative way to talk because he did go through that and that's valid and we can talk about that. But to bring it up in the— that was before he even knew Sofia Vergara. So like to bring it up in the context of the dog and Sofia Vergara is like kind of manipulative.
I would agree with that because there's nothing you can say. It's a conversation ender. And it's like, of course this dog saved her life, which it undoubtedly did.
And we should be giving the dog like, you know, all the time in the world.
But that doesn't mean when the dog pees on the curtains that we can't make a joke about the dog.
Yeah, it feels— and perhaps he goes into more detail on it that makes it look better in the book, but just this excerpt, it's just like you threw it in there to make her look even worse.
Yes, but the crux of the book is really about his body failing, everything he went through in the last 7 years, his desperate search to find a cure and also to find a diagnosis.
Right, right.
Because it sounds like he really went through it.
But it sounds like the part about Sofia Vergara he's using for publicity, which I don't like either, because like that's the big excerpt, you know? It's like a book all about his chronic illness, but the excerpt he chooses to lead the press with is the one about Sofia Vergara.
That's what the press wants. That's just the beast.
I'm just saying, I'm just saying, I'm just saying, like, yeah, not me like kind of turning on my celebrity crush.
Yeah, I don't know who my like current celebrity crush is.
Oh, sorry, it's Belmondo. Oh, and you know who's kind of like coming back into my heart? We've had like sort of a complicated relationship. He's been—
John Mayer.
No, he's out. Like, only because, it's not to be like so mean, but like I just no longer find him attractive. Like, when I see videos of him singing from like when he was in his 20s, like yeah, that's my boyfriend. But now, like, kinda looks like a bobblehead. Like, I'm good. No, you know who's come back into my life in like in a real major way? And he almost never left, but like, I don't know, my opinions on him sort of like fluctuated over the years.
Who?
He's like literally my original boyfriend.
Joe Jonas?
Yeah.
That's good.
Let me tell you, he was in my dream last night. Like, he is so hot. And I know that's not like a revelatory statement, like everyone knows.
That's good, 'cause you were—
I was like off the Jonas Brothers and him in particular for a while, 'cause he did unfollow me on Instagram. Like, I just think— I don't come up with these things for no reason. Like, you get on my list for a reason. Joe Jonas was the first celebrity to follow me on Instagram, and when I tell you nothing in the world meant more to me— nothing in the world meant more to me that Joe Jonas followed me on Instagram.
And nothing hurt more than when he unfollowed.
Especially 'cause like, it wasn't like we had this— we had no relationship. Like, we DM'd when he was doing DNCE. Like, he invited me to this little private concert. I wouldn't say we were friends, of course, but like we were colleagues. And he unfollowed me.
I'm sorry.
And I don't even know when it happened. I realized like months later. I didn't check. I just got so comfortable knowing—
You didn't have the unfollow app.
No, I didn't. And it was really, um—
You got so comfortable.
I did.
You took it for granted.
And so I think it took me like years, honestly, to get over it.
Maybe.
And of course, when Harry Styles follows you— I should check if he still does. Like, my content is so like drama.
You might wanna know.
My content is so—
Last time you checked, In fact, he did.
Oh, have I done this before?
Yeah.
My content is so different than like the girl he followed. I wouldn't even— why would he be following a mama? Like, you know what I mean?
Well, he is. He likes to move like a mama.
There I am.
He likes to move like a new mama doing press from home.
Yeah, he does.
He finds you a source of inspiration.
I was gonna say, maybe my lifestyle's inspiring to him.
Yeah.
All right, at least we'll have that. And like, JoJo just never followed me back on Instagram. Um, but you know what, like, I can be unbiased enough to say, like, when I see videos of him singing, I'm like, that's my fucking king right there. He's so handsome and he's so talented, and I love them. I do. I'm back on the Jonas Brothers.
I love it.
Yeah.
Hey Jonas.
I'm holding space, you know.
Things can change.
And I think as like a Golden Globe nominated nominee, um, I should be supporting like all fellow podcasters because that's what they want, you know, the creative arts.
Well, like not the ones that aren't on the list.
Oh, and Hey Jonas isn't on the list.
They will be soon. They're doing—
Yeah, we're sort of like list supremacists. 1,000%.
Even though we don't know half of them on the list.
But they're all beautiful in their own way, and I, I truly would be happy for any of them.
We should throw a party Like for everyone on the list.
Yeah. They'll be like, who are these girls?
Like, what list? Like, have you heard anything?
Do you think anyone else on the list like even knows that the list—
Is talking about it, cares about it?
Absolutely.
But it might also be because like they get this stuff all the time.
Some of them. Like, yes, Smartless, they've all been nominated for like Oscars too, 'cause they're like actors. But I think like probably Jason and Travis are like excited about this.
No, they get, they won a Super Bowl and they get stuff all the time and they have like a $100 million—
Awards like in Hollywood?
$100 million Amazon deal. And Taylor gets every award. Sorry, it's not as big of a deal to them.
You think like—
There were a couple like new names on there that maybe they get really excited. I don't know why.
I feel like if you get excited, like, you're not getting nominated. Do you know what I mean?
That's how we have to keep it in our pants a little bit. I seriously can't, but I'm not even gonna try. Yeah, and I also just feel like it's about this moment, you know? It's not even about the nomination.
It's about what the nomination represents.
It's about the fact that we were nominated to be nominated.
Exactly.
Are you ready for our next story, which I'm becoming obsessed with? And I'm actually rather shook because the beef between Dave Portnoy and Bailey Taylor has intensified.
Oh my God, and you know what? I watched this whole saga and I was really shook because—
I was really floored.
The— we could go back and forth about who invented what.
I'm glad we discussed it last week so you all have the context.
Bailey from Summer House and her beef.
It Girl versus It Girl. Bailey from Summer House had started this series before she was on Summer House called It Girl years ago. She said the Barstool account called It Girl was copying her. As we've said, that's just like a pretty generic phrase. And as Dave said in his video yesterday, like Bailey Taylor was a nobody. He actually said that's an insult to nobodies.
He was really mad.
And he was like, how can we copy someone that we don't even know?
Right. And he's standing like 10 toes down that they had never heard of her, that she had no influence on their decision to rebrand their page from Chix to It Girl. Um, like she's had seriously no impact. He remains— the fact remains he's not changing his tune on that. But I guess the two of them have spoken. They were DMing and Dave made a video, Tea by the Sea, sharing the messages because the messages The messages are shocking. Are fucking crazy.
And I didn't know people still spoke like this in 2026.
But the thing is, they don't.
And that people still like actively beef like this. And everything that Dave said is like who Dave is, who we know Dave is, and like is part of the Dave package.
Personality.
Whether you have accepted him or rejected him.
It's true.
He's speaking as Dave Portnoy.
This is so shocking because this is Bailey from Summer House.
The way that Bailey from Summer House is speaking, I'm, I'm in shock.
As far as we know, Based on the screenshots, she messaged him first.
So she messaged him with a— sending the video of Who's Your It Girl, which is— Who's Your It Girl has started this—
It's a Verity red carpet video that's like taking the world by storm.
And she said, where did you get the idea, Dave? All caps. And he goes, you may be the biggest brain-dead moron I've ever met. And she goes, fuck you, ugly fat pig. You stole my shit. Hold on. He said, you should go to a doctor for brain damage. She said, you can tell it to my lawyer. He writes back crying laughing emojis. They quoted her, I should add. No, no, like, what, you're gonna sue him for what, asking a question?
Yeah.
She said, I've had it for 3 years, dumb dumb. All you do is talk about Summer House because you have no relevance anymore. Embarrassing. She said also in the video recording, you see texts from Rhea and Fran popping up.
Oh, that's funny. I didn't see that part.
Yeah. Then he said, every word you say makes you seem infinitely more idiotic, and I already thought you were one of the dumbest humans alive. She said, and this is a type— these are a lot of typos, so I'm gonna tell you what she meant.
Yeah.
If people had the worst public opinion of me they have of you, I couldn't live with myself. You should be deeply ashamed. And by the way, it said, you should he deeply ashamed. She's sending these, she's firing these off.
No, her messages were difficult to decipher.
What's with the typos? Get it together. You're feuding with one of the biggest feudsters on earth. You need to bring your A-game.
Talk to text.
You need to bring your A-game. Yeah. And get out of the sun. You're turning purple. Salad/veggies, good for the heart, she says. He said, I like the sun, but you should seek legit mental health. She said, it's an identical copy. What are you even claiming here? Ignorance? They're identical. Or you're pretending you started it first and hadn't launched it? What's your defense? He goes, you'll see my defense when I post a video making you look like the delusional psychopath you are again and my views, my views roll in. Thanks for the easy content. She goes, you're doing the exact same thing down to the logo. You need the views. The page is a flop and so are you. The internet didn't side with you before and they won't now, overweight, demented fucking loser. I just need you guys to know also, It Girl has 2 million followers. He said, can I ask you a question? How many cats do you have? She goes, zero. Why is she even fucking answering that question?
Yeah, no, this is like a weird conversation. Weird conversation.
Wait, wait, wait, hold on. And he goes— she goes, zero. He goes, liar. She goes, how many people actually respect you? Oh wait, I'm losing it, I'm losing it. Hold on, I gotta bring it back up again. You guys, you need to read these. Yeah, I'm sorry.
And the way it ends is probably the craziest.
I like didn't know these sorts of things were happening anymore. Hold on, I'm like holding down the video, you know?
Yeah.
Okay, back to your purple.
You're turning purple.
Oh, I can go 2x speed. Paige is a flop. Zero cats. Liar. She says, how many people actually like you and respect you? Zero. I have 500 messages calling you scum, which you are. Why wouldn't you apologize and fix it? Who wants to be remembered like this? It's shameful and sad. I genuinely feel sympathy for having a reputation like that. Do some good. Fuck, donate the money from the it girl page to some kind of charity like I do. Do some good with it if you're going to be so vile. Donate to a women's charity. Literally repent for some of your terrible bullshit. Make it about caps WOMEN'S SPORTS and donate to a scholarship and I'll leave it alone. You don't exist to me. I clearly do. You're so desperate you have to copy my exact model and verbiage. Well, you DM'd me. She said, it's so fucking embarrassing. Donate some money because you won't stop copying me. I want you to change it or donate to a women's charity, breast cancer, a female sports scholarship, anything. You want to ask people who their ultimate, ultimate it girl? Been doing it for 3 years. At least do some fucking honor by it.
We donate to the LES Girls Club. You should too. Lori said, doesn't have to be public in any way. If you tell me you've done it, I'll believe you and it can be a wash.
She really goes through a rollercoaster of emotions in this chat.
He goes, are you still talking? You are a bit character on a reality show. Get over yourself. Go buy 7 more cats. And she said, you're a fat loser. The fat shaming is crazy.
Yeah.
I didn't know we were still doing that.
So Dave did sort of open up with that kind of language. Like he started—
Of course, calling her a dumb moron. You're a fat loser and can only get girls 20 years younger because he is rich and the world despises you. What a legacy. Pure shame to be associated with you. Donate something to do some good.
So like the donation part is sort of what gets me, um, because I don't really understand why it's relevant and it's a little performative. I feel like at that point she like knew the messages were gonna get screenshotted so she can like come out looking like a hero being like, donate to a breast cancer charity. And the thing is about Dave Portnoy, like you can actually criticize him in many ways, but like he's extremely charitable.
There's not one more charitable—
It's true. Like he donates a lot of money to like veterans, small businesses, So, and there's like a pretty good record of that. So it's just like a bad call on her part. And it's also like objection relevance. What does charity have to do with literally any of this?
You don't have to post it. Just tell me and it'll be a wash.
Oh, okay.
What does he owe you?
Oh, okay. Like what on earth? First of all, this saga is so stupid.
Yes. The original sin is nothing at all, but the way that she's talking in the DMs, and I've always liked her on Summer House. I thought she's like, just like rational and— The cool girls girl. And just like, relatable and got it together and like someone that I would, you know, chit-chat with, whatever. These DMs are the ravings of a crazy person.
Yeah.
Like his DMs are Dave Portnoy and that's how we talk.
That's who we know him to be.
And I would expect nothing less from him. Her? Who talks like that? And the ageism, the fat shaming.
Yeah.
Like we don't talk like that.
No.
And especially if you wanna be like, so you're better than him, you're calling him all the— then she made a follow-up video calling him like a racist. alleged harasser, alleged rapist. And so like, you're the better, more moral one of the two of you and you're talking like that?
Yeah, it's very incongruous with the girl we've gotten to know. Now I guess she's only been on one season and like, she really wasn't a main character, so how much could we know her? But I see her on social media a lot and I don't know, I just thought— I just honestly could never see her talking like that.
So then she posted a video responding to him and she said this is like the last time she's gonna bring it up.
Was she in the back of the car? In the back of the car. Yeah, I saw this one.
She had a photo shoot that day, so my heart goes out to her.
Yeah, she was in full glam with green.
My heart goes out to her.
A fellow model.
Yeah, um, and, and I just thought it was the whole thing, the ravings of a crazy person. Let me pull up the video. How do you find such a thing?
Was it in her stories?
Maybe it's in her stories.
Okay, or was it TikTok?
So that's why my makeup is crazy. So we're gonna call this Tea by the Bee because we can just steal people's stuff these days. I never said I invented it. He keeps saying that because it's the only thing people agree with him on. I didn't invent it. I have made a living, however, long before I was on TV, and I did have a following. I've been an influencer for years full-time. It's how I've made a living for years. I did invent going on carpets and asking celebrities who their ultimate it girl was. It is born out of wanting to create a space in media where women say something nice about each other. That is literally where it came from. I don't know where his came from. Probably out of his ass. He is— I'm sorry, He I'm sorry. is an alleged rapist. I want no one to forget that. He is an alleged predator. I don't take back a single word I said to him, and everything he said that I said was nasty. I wish I was 10 times nastier. I think personally that man is a disgusting lowlife who should be in jail for what he did to other women.
So that's my thoughts. I'll never talk to him again, about him again. Forget it. I don't care nothing anybody has to say to me about it. Change.
Hi and welcome to the Oh, I actually didn't watch the whole thing.
Um, it's got— it's crazy. Yeah.
What do I want to say about this? Let me think.
She— from the heart.
Yeah, like, you just like shouldn't start stuff you can't finish, you know what I mean? And so I feel like she started this thing years ago, it backfired on her completely, and now she's like more well-known because of Summer House.
And—
And people love this sort of story.
They love creators creators.
And you know, it's easy like to pick a fight with Dave Portnoy because so many people dislike him, and they're gonna be like, yeah, I'm with Bailey, just, just for the sake of being against Dave Portnoy. I don't think it went the way that she expected it to. So now to be like, I'm never talking about this again, it's like, okay, well, you were— no one was talking about it before, so sure.
Yeah. And just like to use like— I don't know, I just feel like she's no longer making an argument about like the it girl.
We're not talking about the thing anymore.
And the thing is like, yes, maybe that's her thing, to go and ask people on red carpets like, who's your it girl? But like, we're But 2 people can have that same thought without them having copied you.
Yeah, she sort of just like is insisting on being validated in that one sense, and he just won't even acknowledge that like their creative has anything to do with her. And that's kind of all she wants. She'll go away if they just acknowledge it.
And donate to a charity.
Right.
I just, I think it's so thin. So many times like something we say or something, then other people start saying, I would never go to war with someone over that.
No, I see a lot of times, um, I just, I see people like regurgitating thoughts that I've had.
I'm like, of course.
I'm wondering if, cuz I, and I know that that person like listens to the toast. I'm like, I wonder if they're just like agreeing with me using my take or they came up with it on their own. It's not like entirely me. Of course.
Like they heard your take, they agreed with it, and now that's their take. Like, I just don't think everything is so deep. I think people can have like shared thoughts. It's not that big of a deal. And you should certainly shouldn't go to war with everyone.
Yeah.
Who you think stole a caption from you. And the last person you wanna go to war with is Dave Portnoy.
Yeah.
That's the last person.
Yeah.
Even his Tea by the Sea account, which is just like him ranting from his chair, has 100,000 followers. He doesn't even post it to his deep— I went looking for this video and I couldn't find it.
Right.
He has like every— like he has so many fans, like he goes so hard, he has receipts, like he has nothing to hide.
No, he doesn't.
I just— I, I don't think it was a good look for her, and it just showed her in a light that I did not expect from her.
Just a different light.
And like, I'm sorry, the fat shaming?
Yeah, not cool.
The body shaming and the ageism?
And then you're like, well, I created this space for women to compliment one another, so why are you calling everyone fat?
No, and like, why are you being nasty.
Yeah, no, and that's not— that doesn't look good for women the way that you're speaking.
I know, and it is giving like emotional, you know, like, do you know what I mean? Like, in that video in the car, yeah, she was like— I felt like she was like gonna cry or something. Like, it was just— I feel— I, I agree, like, not a good look for women.
Yeah, that's— yeah, that's how I feel.
Yeah, not to use the E word.
She said she's done talking about it. If you guys want to continue, like, I'm enjoying— I'm here watching, and I'm open to new perspectives.
Like, no one has provided proof, and I need to see these these, um, these allegations of the caption stealing.
Maybe they're out there, but they haven't come across my desk on Reels. The caption stealing, if you have more evidence to provide, I'd be happy.
And it's like, what's the caption?
I'd be happy to take a look.
What's the caption? Cheers to the freaking weekend? You know, you can't own that. You can't own the weekend. So like, yeah, maybe you did have the same caption. I need to know the caption too.
Yeah, of course. Of course.
She said, yeah, like, Charleston, you look gorgeous tonight. Like, right, what's the cap? There are some just phrases that are like, um, royalty-free. Like, nobody owns them. Yeah, public domain.
We honestly shouldn't be proud that we're using them.
It's a— it's literally a shame. Yeah.
Are you ready for our next story? Which I think you'll find interesting. Bobby Bones details how Dancing with the Stars allegedly decides performance order. He said the network would kill him for sharing this.
And one thing about Bobby Bones is like, he doesn't give a fuck about Dancing with the Stars anymore. Like, he hates everyone there. He hates the fact that he won. He hates the pros. He hates Tom Bergeron. He returned his mirrorball. He hates the fans. Like, he hates everyone involved. So I love someone who has nothing to lose.
So I also didn't fully understand. I thought like he was— did really good and he just happened to win, and there was someone who was like better who didn't win. But apparently he had low scores all season. He scored the lowest of the final 4 in judges. but he had the most fan votes and that's why he won. So it'd be like Guillermo winning. Certainly not the best dancer. Milo and Whitney, I've seen some of their dances, they're amazing, like Jordan Fisher level, and it would be as if Jordan Fisher didn't win because someone just more popular won.
Yeah, I guess it reminds me of Whitney last season who was the best dancer and didn't even make the top 4. And we're okay. Yes, and we are okay.
Everybody needs to calm down. Milo should've gone to Chicago.
I have seen some of the sides of the fan base of Dancing with the Stars, and I think a lot of the OG fans feel very territorial of the show, and they don't like these new fans who come in and don't know how to vote. Like, you're not supposed to vote 10 times if you wanna give someone an 8, you know? Like, they're so ballroom nuts.
Stop defending the voting system.
Yeah, no, they're just like crazy, and I think they're really conflicting with the new fans who are just like here to have fun.
No, and also when someone gets cast, it's with the hope that they will bring their fandom to the show to get more viewers for the show that you love so that the show that you love can air and have advertisers.
Yeah, there's like a very territorial nature when it comes to old fans versus new fans, and I think like the old fans who were around, and yes, you guys were around long before we were, you cared about the pros long before we were, good for you.
Um, you guys are like a little little, a little crazy.
Like, and I think you are just like taking it so seriously. And I saw Fibula, he was like on his podcast, it was such a good call. He was like, I just feel like a lot of the reactions and like the— take away from the fact that like I'm literally dancing in a pink suit. Like I'm supposed to be having fun. And it's like, yeah, some people are really like making this not fun.
Yeah, that's why if I were on Dancing with the Stars, I would not look at anything anyone is saying.
Yeah.
Um, and we forgot to recap Fibula's dance.
Oh my God, that was not a slight.
No, not at all. Especially because I wanted to I was gonna say, it was like really the first time I was like, oh, okay, he's improving, he's doing really well. And I think I wrote in our chat like, I think I ship.
Oh yeah.
'Cause they both are like young and they both seem like they have a little bit of awkwardness about them.
They're a good match.
That like because they've been put together, they are comfortable with one another.
She has a boyfriend, like a long-term. She's like a Mormon swirly. Like they're probably getting married. He's like on mission or whatever, you know?
Well, never mind.
And I agree that Fabula, I wanna give him his proper— his dance was so good. I love to see him as a leading man. He talked about that on his podcast too, that his mom texted him being like, you weren't leading. Like you weren't leading. So I think he was like really in his head and he was, and it was like a sexy dance. And the thing about Fabula, I see him as a friend, a little brother. Girls like love him. I think he's like very attractive to young Gen Z girls. So for him to be doing like a sexy dance, he was not going home. Like the girls, they were— his dance were flipping.
His sexy dance was for Gen Z what Tyler Cameron's—
Yes, exactly.
Gary Graham was for millennials.
Like his fans were flipping. Yeah. The sexy samba in the beginning and then the worm.
His hips moved.
The hips. Did you see Guillermo doing it? He copied, he did it with Fibula, like the, the samba in the beginning.
I'm cracking up.
It was hilarious. Sorry, Bobby Bones.
Bobby Bones went on and I also wanna say like, it's amazing that Bobby Bones has that many loyal fans cuz everyone who comes on the show is a star.
Yeah.
But to have so many actual voting fans that will propel you way past your score, more than Milo, like more than Alex Earle even. Yeah. Didn't even come in first place even though she's like the most popular influencer. Like, shout out to Bobby Bones.
Yeah, I think when we talk about like the greats of radio, we always of course like go to Howard Stern. Bobby Bones really often doesn't get his flowers, but he's huge.
Did you also see Howard Stern was like—
Did you see Bobby Bones also shared recently that he has coccydynia? That came across my desk. I've been meaning to talk about that.
And where do you think he heard the term?
His wife.
From his wife who's a toaster.
He was listening to the toast. I'm just saying Bobby Bones has coccydynia.
Did you see Howard Stern shading Dancing with the Stars voters?
It's our job.
No, vote— no, no, no. He said— because he said he thought it was like so lame that Sarah Jane and Hayley Bills got out the first night because he was like, who doesn't want to see 2 hot girls dancing?
Oh, not him rearing his like old ugly head. That's something like old Howard, like from the '90s, would say.
Curvy.
Ew.
It's like, we're not watching Dancing with the Stars as perverts. Like, we're just—
this isn't Dancing with the Perverts.
It's not like a sex show.
That's a really weird thing to say about like 2 young girls.
Oh, and he said it multiple times. And then he said—
I didn't see any of that.
And then he said, who even votes on Dancing with the Stars? If you vote on Dancing with the Stars, you have no life. Get a life.
Oh my God, cancel Howard fucking Stern.
It was so crazy. He thought— he thinks like the voting public of Dancing with the Stars are like the biggest losers on the planet.
That's literally us.
Like, that's so rude.
He was like, get a life, and that we're all losers for sending home Sarah-Jane and Haley.
You know what's funny? I actually thought it was like quite unique of people to be able to send home Haley and Sarah because she is so pretty. They're such a great duo. Like they could get by on how Guillermo gets by on like being cutesy and old. They can get by on being young and pretty and skinny.
We were able to see past their looks.
I think it speaks to the actual—
Evolution.
And the intelligence of the Dancing with the Stars voting community.
I totally agree. Like we're not all Neanderthals being like, hot girl. 2 girls.
Oh my God. I hate that. And I very rarely—
I'm shocked you didn't disagree.
—vehemently disagree with Howard Stern. I feel like ever since I read his book, I like actually really respect him. And it's like, you know what? Stay in your lane.
Yeah.
Leave Dancing with the Stars to us, the Golden Globe-nominated nominees, okay?
But here's what Bobby Bones said on a recent episode of the He Said, G Said podcast. Oh, you know whose podcast that is?
He Said G?
He Said, G Said.
Letter G?
Letter G.
Who's Letter G?
Who's G?
Vinny Guadagnino?
No.
Who's G?
Guillermo?
No.
Wait, who was on this podcast? Bobby Bones, who would he be talking to?
Uh, don't think about it that way. It's a reality couples podcast. He Said G—
Giuliana Rancic?
No.
Oh.
That's a good guess.
Yeah.
Let me make sure this is the right podcast.
'Cause I'm doing good guesses.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
Moving on.
One of my favorite reality couples who came from different reality universes.
Balakalay.
Balakalay and Giannina.
They're having a baby, right?
They're having another baby. Yeah. You could have a playdate with them.
I'm good.
I'll set it up. He went on the He Said, She Said podcast. That's random.
Yeah, I'm cracking up.
He said— G said— I love the title.
It's a good name.
I love it. They should be nominated for a nominee.
No, they shouldn't. Like, don't— like, it's obviously a very hard special thing. This fucking brace is really pissing me off. You think I take a little break?
Sure. Yeah, it's probably all the bracelets don't help.
I know.
You should also like take off your bracelets in pregnancy. Just like be free.
Really?
Yeah, I took off all my love bracelets. Well, when I was getting my cerclage out and I had to put them back on, I was actually gonna put them back on Oh my God, this feels insane. You can freeze this for yourself.
No, no, I'm fine right now. Okay, we have got to get to this story.
He said, she said.
What did he say and what did G say? Come on.
I wanna know what— I'm gonna tell you what he said, G said, and then I wanna know what he said, C said.
Okay.
He said that the network would probably kill me for saying this, but they had asked— he and G asked how the order goes. Right, who's the last to talk. And he said, that's such a good question. his theory that the network is very intentional about which celebrity and dance pro pairings they put at the top and the bottom of each hour, of each hour, the beginning hour. If they're putting you at the top of the hour, that means they want you to be seen. He claimed that they take into account the people who are flipping off of other channels when their show is over at like 9 o'clock. Mm-hmm. And then they're coming Dancing with the Stars. If they're watching linearly through television, if they left one show and they're coming over to watch in that second hour and you're the first person that they see. Mm-hmm. He said, so their strategy involved with who they put at the top of the show and who they're putting at the very top of that next hour and who they're putting at the end as well.
Yeah, I think if you're at the end, I've always felt that like you're not even remotely at risk for going home. So the fact that you have the least amount, like Ezra Frech went, I went last, last week and Maura went home. So I always feel like you're not even close to being out, so you're not gonna get such a disadvantage by being last.
But I also think everybody has to go last at some point. Yes. But the way they order the rest of it, he said he doesn't think it's necessarily about who's expected to win, but might instead be influenced by popularity and like drawing viewers in. Yeah. I would love to know who was at the top of the second hour. Or like, who are names that like, if you flip on over Dancing with the Stars—
Well, now I'm gonna be aware of it.
Yeah.
Because it does, when I'm watching the episode over the course of the 2 hours, it is a bit of a, like a peak and a valley. Like sometimes I'm like, there's a couple of people I'm like, ugh. And then towards the end we're getting closer to the elimination, like you perk back in and you get more excited. So yeah, I think it's also like, there's an emotional element to it too.
Yeah, he said they're showing those people off on purpose. I've never actually talked about that, but they do put you in places for that reason, which is also I think surprising why Ciara went home on the night where she went first.
First, I am more so curious about how they decide who gets what song. Um, I heard like theories that it has to do with your scores from the prior week. Like if you had a really good score, you get a really good song.
That's fair, because like they rewarding great performances, right?
Um, no, there's no proof of that, but I thought that was like a good theory.
That is a good theory. And sometimes they get to pick if it's like a very wide— like I think like for TikTok night or whatever, right?
Or like if you have a real personal connection, like Harry Shem Jr. being in the music video.
Yes. Like no, for Mariah Carey night, yeah, they're probably doling out songs. But the first night when it was like songs from the year you were born—
Oh yeah, an anthem that represents your life. You got to pick.
pick. And I think on like TikTok night you would get to pick whatever viral— or viral night song. Yeah, like why not pick?
Within limits. I know, um, from Masked Singer that you're really not allowed to perform a song that somebody else has performed. Sometimes they make exceptions, but if it's been danced to, like, you probably can't do it. And, um, a lot of songs like don't get cleared legally, like the artist doesn't want their song on Dancing with the Stars. Yeah, stupid idiots. But yeah, stupid idiots can never be me.
But yeah, so that's what he said on G With— that's what he said on He Said.
That's what B said on He Said, She Said.
That's what B said on He Said, She Said. And that's what J and C said about B on He Said, She Said.
And that's how Sue sees it.

Our next story, a little Instagram romance, I guess. Alex Earle was caught liking Braxton Berrios' photo.
I don't know what to think here.
And Magui liked it too.
Yeah, Magui liked it too. And like, based on what we've seen in recent weeks, like, him and Magui seem to be going at it. And based on what we saw on Earle Meets World, which is old, is that like Alex seems to be pining for Braxton. So based on the information that I have, which is limited, it's that like Alex is still pining for him. And did you see Ashley Dupree?
What did my queen do now?
She shared this story. It was actually very sweet. Um, you know, they live in New Jersey and they were talking about Penelope. Ashley was like, I just want to share this nice story. I think that like maybe the family feels like they weren't 100% fair to Braxton in the TV show, especially when they said that like Thomas texts him and he doesn't answer. And that was like the one thing Braxton responded to I think, you know, whatever happened between him and Alex, I think he like has a lot of love for the family, specifically Thomas. So she made this video just to like maybe like curry favor with Braxton. So Ashley was basically like, you know, Penelope, she— her whole group of friends is guys, like she's one of the guys, you know, she is like kind of a tomboy. Um, and for one—
Wild side.
Yes, for one of their birthdays, like the party was a Giants game. Braxton plays on the Giants now. And Penelope actually like texted him, or maybe Ashley did, being like, you know, Ashley, Penelope's going to the game, like, um, she would really love to see you.
Oh, it was a party, a birthday party at the Giants?
Yes.
Okay.
With all of her guy friends. Like Ashley made sure to say like, Penelope's like not like other girls, you know? And Penelope, Penelope would love to see you. Like, can she text you and like maybe after the game or something, just like meet you? And he did. And he was like really sweet about the whole thing. It was like a very nice video that Ashley made just to sort of like maybe get people off Braxton's back a little bit when it comes to the kids.
So I don't feel it. I think the show made Braxton look amazing. Like the girl who has an amazing boyfriend who you will never get over. Yep. You'll never find anyone like it, even if you are not in a place to get married or have a serious relationship right now, like you should really think twice before breaking up with the perfect guy.
Agreed.
And even when like Thomas said Braxton didn't answer me, like I didn't feel like, oh, he's ghosted Thomas. I just felt like maybe he didn't answer you yet.
Yeah.
You know, like I didn't think anything wrong. I don't think they need to even do repair, but I think considering he did this nice thing for Penelope, like as she's way of repaying him almost.
It's like letting people know that he's a good guy.
That he's a really good guy.
Yeah. I don't think her liking his photo means anything.
Well, she unfollowed him like what, a while ago? So like she's—
But she followed him back a while ago too.
Did she?
This might be like the first photo that she's liked.
She actively follows him because it's like crazier if she doesn't follow him. And the photo was just like him thanking God.
I do think that these two either— and as far as I know, Braxton is like not interested in getting back together. And Alex had said on the show that he always said like he would never get back together with somebody who broke up with him. That's sort of just like a personal thing. boundary of his. Um, he does not follow Braxton. So if—
oh, oh, so what is she trying to say? That she like— that's like how you slip in, like you're opening the door. Yeah, I'm gonna like a photo.
Like, I need these two to sort of like shit or get off the pot, you know what I mean? Like, I want them to get back together, and I actually think now that I know Alex, like, this is exactly what she needs.
So the post— I think we need to read more of the post. I thought it was just a quote about God. But then there's more to it, which is that he needs surgery that will end his season. 2 of his last 3 seasons ended this way, and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't sad right now. So this is her like just supporting him in a time of need, and that's just like her being a bigger, bigger person.
Agreed, it means nothing.
And Magui will be there helping him recover from surgery. Despite everything that's happened between us, I'm sorry this happened to you.
Magui is the best.
That's just like her being mature.
Magui's dressed up in the candy stripers. Yeah. Okay. Well, sorry that happened to your knee. Like, we didn't even know that.
Yeah.
I just feel like Braxton should call it quits with football. Like, it's sort of just like not meant to be.
And I think he like will have a successful career as a businessman. People really like him and wanna work with him.
He's also like an investor. He's one of the— is it Marks?
Yeah.
Um, he does like a lot of investing too. He's fine.
Yeah. But I think like everyone who's an athlete like has a lot of money, so they invest some and some people lose it all and whatever. I think he has like good sense and I think like he's a good— I think people just like, like working with him.
I think he'll also end up getting some sort of like broadcasting contract just because He's like more famous than the other running backs or whatever his job is. Like, he has a lot of Instagram followers, he's a lot of recognizability. It's like a very like public figure for the level of player he is.
Like, he could wind up being someone who has a bigger broadcast career than football career. Yeah, I'm open. Which is— it's like weird Tom Brady does commentary.
I mean, he has experience podcasting, like on Get Real. Yeah, on who— what's it called? Hot Mess.
Hot Mess.
Those were the days.
Okay. Okay. Are you ready for our 5th and final story? Mm-hmm. Speaking of football, Disney+ will be streaming the Super Bowl for the first time in 2027. That's the—
And it's also on cable. That's like sort of the confusing part.
ESPN, and then Disney+ will also stream it so we can still watch on cable per usual. But you know, international audience, cable cutters, cord cutters.
The NFL is obsessed with growing their international audience because it's such an American sport. Football is actually like, it means another thing.
Yeah. They don't want football. They want, they, no, sorry. They don't want football. They want football.
But the NFL wants football to be football, right?
And it's not.
They're really trying. They have those inter— they force the players to fly to Australia. Like, it's so cruel. And I guess this is like another step in that. I, when I first saw it, I thought it was instead of cable and I'm like, the Oscars are going to Netflix. Like what? Like seriously, what's the point of cable? I happen to like big events being on cable. It just feels like so old school.
Yeah. And it's like commercials.
And like, what do you see commercials when you watch? 'Cause the whole thing with the Super Bowl is the commercials. When you're watching on Disney Plus, commercials stream too, like the whole broadcast.
It's one big broadcast, you think?
But a lot of commercials, like, you can't stream commercials because a lot of them are like regional.
That's true. And also it's like, I pay for no ads.
What the hell is this? It's like when I'm watching Jeopardy here, like, I'm used to seeing like Chateaubriand, and she's like, coming up on the Eyewitness News, and there's like some guy here. Like, I don't— you know what I mean? So it— you, when you're watching even the same exact program in a different state, you get different commercials.
Yeah, even on the favorable. I don't know how it will affect commercials.
And that's sort of the best part.
Mm-hmm. Well, I don't know. I— good luck with your global endeavors. Like, I don't— listen, I get it. I don't understand, like, why being the biggest thing in the entire country, like, isn't enough for you, and you have to go places that you're not wanted. They're taken care of in terms of sports. Like, seriously, the, the— I think the word you're looking for is, like, gratitude. Yeah, the love for soccer worldwide is greater than the love of anything, any sport anywhere else. Like, you think that you can get a piece of that, good luck to you. You can't. And you're also like forsaking your fans that are here and do like you in service of like this global audience.
We have not heard yet who the Super Bowl performer is. A couple of names. One every year, Miley. Um, I'm so ready for a Miley Super Bowl. It almost feels like it's never gonna happen just 'cause it's a bit of a joke.
I don't think it's gonna happen. You have to remember that Jay-Z is doing the halftime show. And like, he's— who are his friends? And like, it's gonna be what he wants, and it's just like not swirly. It's just not.
It's not swirly. I feel that we went through actually an extremely swirly decade of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Coldplay.
Thanks Pepsi.
Win Pepsi. Yeah, we had a swirly decade, and now I feel it's not for the girls.
No.
And you're right, it's not gonna be Miley. Who's it gonna be?
Like, get it out of your head. Like, I have zero expectations.
I know, and everyone we guess, like, it's literally never been anyone we guess. Who's having like a big year?
Yeah, and it's not even anyone anymore.
Seriously, give it to Olivia Rodrigo. I know I'm going swirly, but she would be great.
It would never be— it would not be Olivia Rodrigo. It's not even someone who has a long-standing career, like a legacy artist. It's really someone like sort of trendy at the moment.
Trendy. When it used to be like you have to reach a certain level.
Yeah, like you come out of retirement to do Super Bowl.
You know who it should be? I mean, and it won't be given like the— but we throw a lot of names around, of course. Pink, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Miley. The Backstreet Boys. They would be good.
It wouldn't be.
Yeah, no, I have no idea, and it's like not even worth guessing. We're always off by a lot.
I'll go on my release radar and I'll tell you it's gonna be some like random—
I mean, give it to Luke Combs. Chris Stapleton, he's already in the building for the, uh, national anthem. They do like to pluck people who've done like the other musical acts. Like Lady Gaga did the anthem and then the, the bowl halftime show. I mean, I'll do it. Like, sure, okay, I'll do it. Honey, Dad, we gonna have a good time. That's how it ends up. To the sky, we gonna get toasted tonight. Like, it's literally gonna be Jelly Roll, because don't you feel like Jelly Roll just keeps getting opportunities that he's like not really eligible for?
Um, yes, but I would love for it to be Jelly Roll. I would love—
I don't know that I would really. I heard Jelly Roll's house is for sale. No, I'm not done with him. I was never like with him.
You know what could be? I would Like Justin Bieber.
Yeah.
I feel like it could be him.
Yeah, you think you could also pluck from like the Coachella lineup.
I feel like Jay-Z would choose him and like he always sort of gets it together and puts out a performance.
His Coachella performance was like extremely well received.
Yeah.
That's a good one.
Yeah. Just take your time, honey.
I get it, I get it, I get it.
I think Justin Bieber is interested in making money right now.
Yeah.
So that he doesn't feel like a total deadbeat compared to his wife.
It's true. Okay, having a billionaire for a wife was all fun and games until—
So like he works once a year and brings home like $15 million. That's pretty good.
That works.
So I actually think it could be him.
Yeah, it would benefit everyone.
And people would really like that.
Yes.
I wouldn't be over the moon. I honestly—
I would be pretty excited.
But, but yeah.
Yeah, that's a good one. Um, okay, that's our show. We have to go to a photo shoot. Like, seriously exhausting. The life of a model never ends.
