Good morning, girlies. It's The Toast.

00:00:09

It's Jackson, Claude, and we're your hosts.

00:00:13

It's your favorite show, the fast 5 things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's The Toast.

00:00:23

I sound amazing.

00:00:25

Welcome back to The Toast and happy Tuesday.

00:00:28

Tuesday period. You could hope for later in the week. We hope and we dream.

00:00:33

I was shocked to find out that it's only Tuesday, and like, today's such a Tuesday.

00:00:37

When I woke up this morning and like did the quick math of what day it is, like yesterday was only Monday. Very disappointing stuff, and it was a long day. But Tuesdays are exciting because it's a big Tuesday.

00:00:47

We've got Summer House reunion tonight, we've got Love Island premiere, When One Door Closes Another One Opens, your toasters. You see they dropped another Islander from the villa? No. Yeah, a guy. Whomst?

00:00:57

Was it sincere?

00:00:58

Um, I forget what it was that he did.

00:01:01

No, the cast member's sincere.

00:01:03

Oh, I thought it was like, was a sincere action. I don't know, like, I don't know.

00:01:06

You can speak to the sincerity?

00:01:08

No, but I'll never get to know him because he's been dropped from the villa. I do believe he was actually dropped before the other girl. He never even made air, but people are just finding out that she's actually the second person to be, um, dropped from the villa. He was dropped before her, but we're just finding out about it. He never made it to air.

00:01:23

He wasn't in the package.

00:01:25

Like, they found out just in the nick of time.

00:01:27

Oh, great, great. I mean, good. What did he do?

00:01:31

I don't remember, but you know, it was along the lines of like your regular degular slur. It's— I feel like that's like the Love Island bar is like the slur, right? Yeah, everyone who's out—

00:01:45

Sierra, new girl whose name I never knew, which is good because she can go on to lead a regular life as if it's never— like, I didn't even say her name in this story yesterday. I didn't— not because I was trying to protect her, but because it was like not filming.

00:01:59

Yeah.

00:01:59

And it's like, good, you know what? No harm, no foul.

00:02:01

It's true.

00:02:02

It's like, you're even here to your job.

00:02:04

Yeah. Um, so that starts tonight. Like, I have to get into the mental headspace, but it's good. I kind of like don't have a lot of things to watch. Last night I started watching Off Campus again just because like I felt like I didn't like give it the proper— like I had such a bad attitude going into it last time.

00:02:16

And you just won't watch Italian Job.

00:02:18

Anything to not watch Italian Job.

00:02:20

Uh, Ben, I feel like you keep forgetting that. What time do you get in bed to watch TV? I don't want to make you—

00:02:26

That feels like really embarrassing.

00:02:27

No, okay. I just wanna send you—

00:02:29

Like 7:01, the second we're leaving town.

00:02:30

I wanna send you a scheduled text message at 7:02. It did occur to me last night. When you're scrolling. It occurred, okay.

00:02:36

But Ben was out playing basketball with your husband and it feels like something I should watch with Ben.

00:02:39

I agree. It's a joint, it's a joint partnership.

00:02:41

So it's like, what could I do alone? Rewatch Off Campus.

00:02:44

Okay. I finished my book last night, Yesterday.

00:02:47

The book that, the name on everybody's lips.

00:02:49

It is. We are recording Redheads today.

00:02:51

I don't know if you saw, and I had seen this before we talked about it on the toast, that like actually the audience of people is quite divided on who the book is about because a lot of people are saying it's more Ruby Frank than Ballerina Farm. Although Ruby Frank was not a trad wife, right? I guess she was a traditional wife in the sense that she was like at home with the kids, but she wasn't making butter or bread or farming.

00:03:09

So I would say until 85% of the book it's Ballerina Farm only, and then once the psychological thriller starts happening, like when things start to piece together of us understanding like what's going on, because the book is confusing, like how did we go back into the past, like where's the time machine? Then the last 15%, I'm like, oh, inspired by Ruby Frank.

00:03:31

Got it. Okay, so like a blend.

00:03:33

Yeah, but mostly Ballerina, and it's just like so unfair because it's like the book about Ballerina Farm and it paints her out to be a monster.

00:03:40

Every time like somebody does like a cultural commentation, whether it's fiction or nonfiction, on Ballerina Farm, it's always from a negative mangle. Yeah, like, I'm ready for the ballerini tell-all. Like, she should come on this podcast. This is a safe space. Like, I want to know, like, do you care that you're not a ballerina anymore? Because I really feel like you don't.

00:03:53

Like, no, why would she care?

00:03:54

I know, but everyone's like, he stole her dreams of being a ballerina. And it's like, well, she also like grew up and had kids, and like, you can't be a ballerina forever.

00:04:01

All ballerinas have to throw in the tutu at some point, except Misty Copeland. And actually, she has a studio at her farm where she can reen all she wants. Pleié. She can ballerine to her heart's content.

00:04:14

Correct. I would love to chat with her.

00:04:15

It was really frustrating. I'm excited that we're doing a whole episode on it because I have so many different thoughts. Like, the book was so outrageous and was making like so many different points, and like, it was just— it was a lot. And now, of course, it's going to be a sensational book because I think it's about like one of the most fascinating topics, which is like female influencers, fame, farm, family, faith. So whether or not it's a good book, I understand why it's the book.

00:04:42

That's why everyone's talking about it.

00:04:43

And you know, it's being turned into a movie. Anne Hathaway is playing the lead. And then in the acknowledgements, she said like, thank you so much. You know, I was so fortunate to put this book in front of people before it was even done to get their feedback. Anne Hathaway being one of those people. Interesting. Meanwhile, it's her first book. So how did your first book reach Anne Hathaway?

00:05:01

And like, how did everybody know it was gonna be the book?

00:05:03

And Amazon. I think everyone was just excited to like read something salacious about ballerina.

00:05:07

Okay, I just wanna say, I didn't read the book, but I don't think that's a good casting. She's playing Hannah Ballerina.

00:05:14

Natalie—

00:05:15

Whatever.

00:05:16

I don't think that's a good casting. Natalie Heller Mills.

00:05:18

But I just know Daisy Edgar Jones is somewhere just kicking her— like, she's no longer the book girl. Anne Hathaway is.

00:05:22

But we did need someone a little bit older.

00:05:24

Oh yeah?

00:05:25

Like a little bit because it's—

00:05:26

How old are the kids?

00:05:27

Um, there are so many.

00:05:29

Like, how old's the youngest one?

00:05:32

Uh, 10.

00:05:33

Oh, okay. So Anne Hathaway is—

00:05:34

But at one point, you know, she has her first.

00:05:36

Oh, right, right, right. So it's coming-of-age tale. It spans a lot of time. Um, maybe I will read it.

00:05:41

I would love to get your thoughts.

00:05:43

You know, I still have to read Lena Dunham.

00:05:45

I'm like, I would love to get your thoughts because there's no way anyone comes away from this book with like not strong opinions because it's a very, uh, whether or not you're like, yes, stick it to the man, speak for the women, or you're like, this is a farce.

00:05:58

Yeah, to me, like, I just don't— I don't get involved in like mocking tradwife culture. It's just such a low-hanging fruit. Like, everybody does it. Like, I'm just I don't know, I'm just more creative than that.

00:06:09

Yeah, I just— I, I don't understand like the point of the book, like what she's trying to say, because it's like she's obviously clowning on women who like follow a traditional trajectory, who like, you know, center faith and family. And okay, but then she's also clowning on like the liberal women that Ballerina went to Harvard— like, not Ballerina, Yesteryear— went to Harvard with. She went to Harvard.

00:06:32

She's just a woman who hates all women.

00:06:34

It seems like it. And then at one point—

00:06:35

I kind of love that. It seems like we're about to get a third kind of woman who maybe—

00:06:40

Centrist. Maybe she's endorsing, but that person turns out to be like so awful.

00:06:45

So it's more of a comment— a commentary on women in general.

00:06:50

Like how I guess women just can't win.

00:06:53

Right.

00:06:54

But I don't feel that way.

00:06:55

I don't either.

00:06:56

So I disagree. Okay. I think like there's hard things about being a woman. I think sometimes, you know, you follow a path that's not right for you, or, you know, you get boxed in somewhere. But the idea that like all women are unhappy.

00:07:09

Yeah, like all roads, whether you're a working mom, whether you're a stay-at-home mom, whether you're a stay-at-home mom who works, like they're all bad.

00:07:13

They're all bad.

00:07:14

That's a bad message.

00:07:15

I actually don't like that. The message is that they're all bad, that society hates women, America hates women, the world is set up for women to fail.

00:07:23

And the world is set up for women to fail. I do wanna say I agree with her on that, but like, I don't like like the woman experience being told like from all angles, like so negative.

00:07:31

Yeah. There's not a good one.

00:07:33

Like no, no one's life that you wanna emulate.

00:07:34

No.

00:07:35

Hate that. Hate, hate, hate. Like seriously hate.

00:07:38

Yeah, so that's why I don't get like what the message is.

00:07:41

And not that it matters, but does the author herself have children?

00:07:43

I don't know. I was trying to like learn more about this off-author. I think that she's married. Okay. Um, but I wasn't seeing children, which I need to— Children, children, what do you see? I need to confirm that before the episode because that will like inform my opinion even more because like It's easy to, uh, like commentate on things you know nothing about. Yeah. Like this woman in the book, I don't wanna spoil how many kids she has cuz it's actually part of this. She doesn't have kids in the book, the author, the author. But in the book she has like, you know, a lot of kids and she hates motherhood. Like she hates every minute. I'm not reading this book.

00:08:21

I know. It's like, I just wanna say I'm not reading this book.

00:08:22

I made a very concerted effort. I can't understand someone who would have 5+ children and, and doesn't enjoy being a mother.

00:08:30

Like, well, I think the comment, like the commentary, it's like she's being forced to.

00:08:33

No, she's not. Well, I don't wanna, okay. I'm gonna spoil it. Don't, don't, don't. But she is so not being forced to. Okay, she's forcing them.

00:08:39

Okay, so I just want to say that like I'm not reading this book because—

00:08:43

update, author might have a child.

00:08:44

Oh, we're not clear. I just don't believe in inundating your mind with negative things. Life is hard enough. So I'll read Lena Dunham instead, or I'll just watch Off Campus for the third time.

00:08:57

Okay, well anyways, it's just a lot— there's just a lot to chew on.

00:09:00

Oh, can I clue you into like something fun that's going on in the Off Campus sphere? First of all, they've been, um, Renewed for a second season. They started filming yesterday. And like, one of the breakout stars from this first season— not the main girl, but she's the main character in the next season, um, you know, a lot of them are in relationships, but like, they're these young hot thangs. First one has fallen. Her and her fiancé broke up. Okay, that's a big deal.

00:09:22

Wait, say that again.

00:09:23

So one of the actresses, she was on the first season. She was not like the main girl, but she's the breakout star because she's in this other couple that's being featured in the second season. Okay, so a lot of these young up-and-coming actors are almost like all in relationships, but they're like hot young thangs who like are on seen now, the first couple has fallen. The girl, her and her fiancé have not lasted. They broke up. Okay. And, um, like, one of them is married to his high school sweetheart. Like, it's— I'm sorry, engaged to his high school sweetheart. Like, it's all really cute, but like, I kind of need them to be single because they need to do that Riverdale thing where they all like mesh and date. Like, I do think it'll affect the outcome of the show. So I'm glad that Allie— I think her real name is Mika— um, and her man have broken up. But like, I need others.

00:09:58

Oh, you're glad that they're breaking up?

00:09:59

Yeah. Well, you know how I feel. Like, when it's a girl, like, she's being held back by her like loser boyfriend. Like, she's a star now, she needs to date other stars. But if it's a guy and I'm like, you very Robert Hurt I'm like, you left your wife at home. Like, I think it's disgusting.

00:10:11

But on the other hand, like, if they do live an ordinary life, they can be original and violent in their work. Very true. So sometimes that stability at home, like, creates for, like, great art, conditions for great art. It's beautiful. So you can argue both sides.

00:10:25

You can.

00:10:26

I, I thought it was going to be sad that they broke up. Like, no, one taste of fame and you're out the door.

00:10:31

Exactly. I love that. I love that for a woman. Like, oh, if men do that, like, that's seriously so Robert Herjavec. I know it pains me for me to talk about it.

00:10:39

It's not like that.

00:10:40

Well, the thing about Robert Herjavec, and I can admit that like what he did was bad, of course, like leaving his ex-wife for a Dancing with the Stars partner, especially like the wife that's been with him for 100 years. They're the same age. Um, yeah, like he's with his new girl now for a long time. They had twins. Like at some point you move on, you do, you have to. Like you have no choice. That's what I mean. Like, you know, with, uh, Wes and Amanda, if they go on to get married and have kids, like I will move on.

00:11:01

Yeah.

00:11:01

But until then, obviously. So I think let today mark the first day that I'm moving on from Robert Herjavec.

00:11:06

Okay, that's great.

00:11:07

Maybe past the, like, the—

00:11:09

they've crossed the line.

00:11:10

Threshold. Threshold for like however long.

00:11:11

I feel like you need to find like just a different example to cite, you know?

00:11:16

It's true. Oh, I'm sorry, one more thing I wanted to tell you about Off Campus because I know how much you care is like this song that's going viral from it, which is like playing in the show during, um, like the two protagonists, they finally get together, then there's like a love montage of them just like being in love and like having sex and like going to class. And, um, this song, it's so good. And you know who sings it? Like such a random pop culture crossover. Do you know— does the name G Flip mean anything to you?

00:11:41

Chrishell's—

00:11:42

Chrishell's wife.

00:11:43

Wife. They got married.

00:11:44

Yeah, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, she's like a big Australian artist.

00:11:49

Yeah.

00:11:49

And so this is like a huge moment for her. She's all over my TikTok now. It's like the best thing to ever happen to her. She's like, I can't fucking wait to do shows in the States. Um, and it's a really good song. I actually think you would like it. It's called Bed on Fire.

00:11:58

I'm sure I would like it. I've seen videos of her singing before.

00:12:02

I've seen videos of her playing drums. Like, I've seen videos—

00:12:03

she sang a song song like It's Raining Men, but she changed it to It's Raining Them for the non-binary community. It was really good. I think she's—

00:12:15

she/they?

00:12:16

She/they.

00:12:16

Okay, so she works like for me.

00:12:19

All that aside, It's Raining Them was very good.

00:12:24

I love that. Yeah, I've seen her perform quite a bit. Like, she's always like playing drums, singing, doing guitar and harmonica at the same time. She's like one of those. Um, and I've never actually heard any of her original music, and this is my first time. It's actually really good.

00:12:35

Just non-binary.

00:12:37

Oh shit, sorry. Um, anyways, that's what's going on on off campus. Great. You think you're gonna watch?

00:12:44

No, no, it's not for you. Aside from you mentioning it, has it not penetrated your— not really. Like, you mentioned it and then one person in our chat—

00:12:54

no. Oh, Casey.

00:12:55

Yeah, but Satchler also was posting about it a lot, but like, she posts about a lot of stuff that's like not for me, so like, I'm not— like, it was just you and in our group chat, our friend was like, I'm watching this. And that's really it. Like, I wouldn't really have heard of it if not for that. You're lucky. Mm-hmm. It hasn't like penetrated offline.

00:13:16

I got so into like the For You page that I ended up on like some Canadian, like Congress. They were petitioning cuz the show was filmed in Canada. It's set in Canada, but like because of Canadian tax laws, like they make no money from it. And somebody was just like talking about Off Campus in Congress or Parliament, whatever they call it. Um, that's when I knew, I was like, uh, maybe I should step away.

00:13:34

That's good.

00:13:35

Yeah. Um, what are the stories like today?

00:13:38

They're good. Lots to discuss, like need to discuss information. So yeah, like every story was sort of like a need.

00:13:45

Yeah, I need to talk about one of these stories in particular.

00:13:48

And everything else is just like, you know, good, like good, you know, what we have to talk about. It's all— I'll say actually really good. Yeah, I think we should get into it.

00:13:55

Oh my God, okay, wait, I'm like so—

00:13:57

you all ready?

00:13:57

And we also have Dear Toasters, actually.

00:13:58

Today's Tuesday, so let's definitely Get into the Fast Five stories that you to do need to know.

00:14:05

And the Fast Five stories that you to do need to know are brought to you by Hint. So this episode is brought to you by Hint Water. We want to tell you about something that's totally taken over our lives, starting innocently with one sip, and then suddenly you're thinking about it constantly, craving it, longing for it. Asking myself, what is this feeling, this completely unhinged desire to drink water? Well, specifically, it's Hint Water. We tried the peach raspberry flavor, and honestly, it really rewired something in us. The second it touched our lips, we just ascended to that very subtle, juicy and refreshing feeling that I've quite literally never experienced with water. As you guys know, I don't really drink water. It's something I struggle with. Well, Hint is so great because it's crisp water with a very delicate little whisper of fruit that really makes your brain go, wait, I want more of that. So I love when people get creative with water because drinking water is just like not for everyone and it can be really hard. The great part about Hint is that it tastes so great, but it has no sugar, no sweeteners, and no calories.

00:14:55

So it's literally just water infused with fruit essence. Somehow it tastes like a treat while being responsible, drinking water. And again, it has no sugar, no sweeteners, and no calories. So if you're looking to be seduced by water, check out Hint. It has no sugar, no sweeteners, and no calories. It's just water with the essence of fruit. It's water that makes you crave water. So try Hint. It's now available. If you wanna check out their website, it's drinkhint.com, D-R-I-N-K-H-I-N-T.com. And you could check them out in stores nationwide. You've probably seen them. They're literally in every store. Um, give it a shot. It's water, but it's good water. Mm. Water. Today's episode is also brought to you by Roback. Let's have a summer closet meeting. Every year we tell ourselves, this is the summer I'm going to have easy outfits. And then somehow you're standing in your room in a towel late for plans, surrounded by clothes, acting like you've never gotten dressed before. So that exact scenario, which we've all been in, is why Roback is a major part of our summer rotation. We don't need to look like we're training for Wimbledon, but we do need to look like we could be invited to a country club at any moment and be dressed appropriately.

00:17:16

I mean, we could.

00:17:17

And we've talked about this before, um, Roback has designed G2G, which is Got2Go technology, which means that their, um, active dresses have built-in shorts that you can pull down when you go to the bathroom without ever having to pull off your entire dress. Because I know a lot of us love wearing active dresses, especially in the summer, but if you've ever been in a public bathroom completely naked because you wore an active dress and you just have to pee, you just know how humiliating that is. But the ones from Roback are fabulous. They have these little shorts, you just slide down the shorts and your dress stays on, like no boobs out in the stall. Um, anyone who's ever worn an active dress knows how, how annoying that is. So if you're on your golf, tennis, pickleball, or just looking cute while holding a nice coffee journey, you've got to try their skorts. They come in so many fun summer colors like poppy red, bright green, summery blue, and then of course your neutrals too. The waistband is so soft, they are light and airy, and you do not feel like you need— like you are overheating 5 minutes after walking outside.

00:18:03

So if your summer closet needs pieces that are cute, functional, and do not require a full styling department, go check out Rhoback. And our code TOAST on rhoback.com gets you 20% off your first order through the end of this week. That's rhoback, R-H-O-B-A-C-K.com. The code is TOAST, T-O-A-S-T. That will get you 20% off your first order through the end of this week. Today's episode is also brought to you by ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. If you've ever found yourself awake at 2 in the morning, phone in hand, Googling things like, is this normal for dogs, or do I need to call the vet? Know that you're not alone. 00:19:46

Thank you, Turturance.

00:19:48

It's been an absolute pleasure.

00:19:50

Our first story. So Taylor Swift announces her new song for Toy Story 5 after much speculation. She has shared that she wrote an original song for Toy Story 5 with Jack Antonoff called I Knew It, I Knew You.

00:20:03

So amazing. I think it's a lot of drama for like a one random song on a soundtrack. Having said that, I firmly believe it's gonna be like the best song ever. I just like have such a feeling. Also, the way it was described, it's country. Oh yeah, like Disney released like a little press release and I'm like, did you say country? So Taylor going back to her country roots like means the world to me. Maybe it's like sense because like Woody and they're like cowboy.

00:20:23

Yeah, but maybe it's like Jesse's, you know, ballad moment.

00:20:27

Maybe it's not a musical.

00:20:28

It's Billboard. In the Billboard, it's Jesse dancing. It's true, she makes the moves up as she goes. So maybe it's like Jesse—

00:20:35

Jesse has, is having like a crisis of conscience.

00:20:37

Or maybe like Jesse's realizing that she loves Woody. I knew it. I knew you.

00:20:42

Are they a couple?

00:20:43

I haven't seen the movie. Yeah, they're a couple. They're not brother and sister.

00:20:46

No, no, but have they like, or do they live together?

00:20:48

Like, so I've really only seen the first one comprehensively and she's not even in it. She comes around in like the second one when Woody starts to discover like his backstory as a character, you know, Woody's Roundup and Bullseye, his horse, and Jesse— Woody's Roundup?

00:21:07

Yeah, Woody.

00:21:09

They're siblings.

00:21:10

They're considered siblings according to Wikipedia.

00:21:13

Okay, okay.

00:21:14

Well, that's not what the song is about.

00:21:16

Maybe there's someone else. Maybe Jessie's in love with Buzz. I love that.

00:21:19

Yeah, Buzz is obviously her brother's best friend. Buzz is obviously like the jock. He's the Garrett Graham, if you will, of the— of the pleasure— no, not pleasure chest, treasure chest. Sorry, I'm really sorry. That's disgusting. Uh, moving on. Um, I have something to say about this. Like, so a lot of people were very quick to point out that Gracie Abrams has a song that's titled pretty much the exact same thing.

00:21:41

It's like, I Know It, I Know You, right?

00:21:43

So what's Taylor's?

00:21:44

Taylor's, I Knew It, I Knew You.

00:21:46

Taylor's, uh, Gracie's was I Knew It, I Know You. Like, she changed it.

00:21:50

I Know You.

00:21:51

And I just want to say, I think it's really crazy because first of all, this is like not a title of a song. Like, sometimes, yes, you can say two people can name a song, like Love Story. Yeah, well Well, sure, yeah, like, yes, something very generic, or like, you know, I love you, do you love me? Like, this is literally like not a song title. It's like a collection of weird words. The fact that two people could possibly like have parallel thinking and come to the conclusion— no. Um, two people who are close and write songs together— no. And I just think it's really crazy because Taylor's like the copy queen, you know, famously Olivia Rodrigo. And she's like very, um— I think it's one of the things I love and people love about her most is like she's kind of militaristic about, you know, credit, originality, and, you know, taking care of, you know, the song songwriters. And so like, it's lowkey crazy. This is such a random, obscure, quite frankly bad name for a song. The odds that someone else in her circle— I think it's crazy.

00:22:45

Yeah. Is it a big Gracie song, or like, you really— I had never heard of every album to have—

00:22:49

I think it's an insider's— no, but Taylor's an insider.

00:22:51

She is. And Taylor like knows music.

00:22:53

Yeah.

00:22:55

Did Jack work on that song with Gracie? Maybe it's a Sparky Pilastri situation where he gave them the same routine.

00:23:02

Jack Antonoff is the Sarkie Plastrier of his generation.

00:23:05

It is. He's giving everyone the same routine.

00:23:08

Synth is the routine. Did Jack Antonoff— okay, so let's go to the Gracie Abrams song. I've never even heard it. I Knew It, I Know You. Let's see. Okay, so this song, Behind the Music— so funny, when I Google it, Gracie, the Taylor Swift thing just comes up. Song and lyrics by Gracie Abrams. Um, let's see who produced it. You could see that on Spotify. I'm listening to the song. Oh, I just played it. Okay, um, hang on, hang on. Explore song DNA. Does that tell you? Oh, view song credits. Okay. Oh, oh, Audrey Hobart wrote it. That's, um, what's that? I knew you'd be at the party drinking a Coke and Bacardi. Sue me, I wanna be— Sue me out. Do you not know that song?

00:23:54

No.

00:23:54

So like, Gracie has like a ghostwriter. Her name is Audrey.

00:23:58

I've heard about this. It's like Julia Michaels and Steven Gomez.

00:24:01

Yes. So it's like, then Audrey released her own song and her own EP, which is like very insider, but people say it's like one of the best pop EPs of all time. 'Cause she is like sort of the brains, uh-huh, behind a lot of like that whispery talk singing that Gracie has come to be known for. Um, oh, I found the rat.

00:24:16

You know, Jackie Antonoff?

00:24:17

No, Aaron Dessner. The rat. Aaron Dessner produced, engineered, and performs on the song. I'm just kidding. I don't think I think that he had— there's a lot of people to work on a song.

00:24:29

He's the rat.

00:24:30

So yeah, production and engineering, that's— we found the rat. It's Aaron Dessner.

00:24:36

Like, is there any way that Taylor didn't know that this was a Gracie song? Like, she found out yesterday when everyone was like, this is a Gracie song?

00:24:42

So the problem when you are like the originality—

00:24:44

what's the status of Taylor and Gracie at the most positive—

00:24:46

positive. Okay, I assume she'll be at the wedding. Um, the only problem is like when you are the copy police You're held to a higher standard. And so like, maybe we wouldn't be talking about this. We'd be like, oh, it's just crazy that— unfortunately, like, she put a target on her back when she decided to become like sort of the hall monitor of the music industry. And so I do give her a slap on the wrist for this because let's say she came to the conclusion completely on her own, like, she should have changed it just out of like, like how this makes her look.

00:25:16

Really? What if it was totally in earnest and then it's like, it's some sort of admission of guilt if like you change it just because someone else has it? Like, if it really wasn't an original idea, the thing is with song titles.

00:25:27

Like, I always think, like, you could literally choose any lyric— yeah, chorus— to make the song. So it's not like the song has to be called this.

00:25:32

Yeah, but she's so scrupled. I really actually don't think that she swiped the name in any way.

00:25:40

No, by the way, I just want to say, I don't think that she swiped the name.

00:25:44

Um, apparently Jessie says it in Toy Story 2.

00:25:47

Doesn't matter.

00:25:47

Like, I'm saying, like, Jessie says other stuff. Of course.

00:25:50

Like, it literally doesn't matter. Like just optics-wise. Yeah. And I know what you mean, like once you change it, you're saying I did something wrong and I didn't.

00:25:56

No, and it's like if you, if you operated completely honestly, why should you have to change the name of your song? There are a million song titles out there. If you changed every one that sounds like another one— I know this isn't a unique one, but like you have to be able to be yourself and creative and true.

00:26:10

Of course, of course. But you're also like the copy police.

00:26:12

And so that comes when there's been copying.

00:26:14

That comes with its own set. Yeah, but people accuse— I actually don't really Like, I mean, we get into Olivia Rodrigo, but all— but sometimes, like, that's the music. That's what Ed Sheeran says, you know, there's only so many chords, everybody ends up writing pretty much the same version of each other's songs, especially in pop music. So like, sometimes you get like copied. Tom Petty suing Sam Smith, you know, sometimes you get— and like, you didn't do it, but like, that's just like the nature of the biz.

00:26:37

Mhm. Mhm.

00:26:37

So I just think it's weird. I just— I— cuz it's like also a bad title.

00:26:40

Yeah, it's odd. It's obviously also like overshadowing this exciting moment.

00:26:44

Yeah, sorry to like make it about that, but otherwise we wouldn't have anything to say cuz like we don't have the song yet and I'm excited.

00:26:47

It comes comes out on Friday.

00:26:50

Bob Iger shared a picture of him and Taylor, like, on one of his last days as CEO of Disney. This must have been like one he wanted credit, like, I got this done, because he shared a picture of them in the boardroom. I don't know why you have to have like a meeting in the boardroom just like do a song, but love that, right?

00:27:02

Like, why can't you just like, you want to do a song?

00:27:04

Yeah. And like, Taylor was just obviously like excited to go because she like wore such a businesswoman's—

00:27:07

a meeting that could have been an email, a text message.

00:27:10

You want to do a song?

00:27:11

Sure. Do you think it's because her and Travis have a baby at home that now she's like wanting to get involved.

00:27:17

Like, obviously I would love for that to be true, but I also don't want it to be true because that means like she didn't share any of it with us.

00:27:22

So no, that the surrogate like delivered seamlessly and now they have a baby that loves Toy Story who's 5 years old. I hope that's not true. Yeah, I don't think it's a little curious that she's getting into the kids game.

00:27:36

She's always been like, like really family-friendly.

00:27:38

I know, but like, she's not been in an animated film.

00:27:41

Uh, she did Cats.

00:27:43

Cats. Yikes. Yikes. Let's not remind everyone. Um, okay, so excited to hear the song.

00:27:49

I wonder— me too. Like, does it come out with the movie, before the movie? I can't remember the last time I was like anticipating a soundtrack.

00:27:55

So the movie— the show— the song comes out on Friday. The movie comes out June 19th.

00:27:59

And then does Taylor put this song like on her album at all, or just like it's—

00:28:03

it's Disney, it's— it's like there?

00:28:05

Oh, she did do a song for, um, The Marsh Girl. What's that book?

00:28:11

It was an original.

00:28:12

Yeah, Carolina, right? Yeah, like that. It was good.

00:28:14

Did she do a song for Hunger Games?

00:28:16

You and I'll be safe. And, and she also did, um, Zayn. That was a movie. I Don't Want to Live Forever. That was for—

00:28:26

oh, Fifty Shades.

00:28:27

I Don't Want to Live. Not my favorite. Safe and Sound from The Hunger Games, like, is one of the best songs ever made. People don't even know it.

00:28:33

Like, no, one of the best soundtrack songs ever made, actually. I think it's like the best one.

00:28:39

It's broken and it's beautiful by Kelly Clarkson.

00:28:42

That's good, but no, like it's actually—

00:28:44

Give me a genre, like pop. No, like of a movie.

00:28:47

Um, we just discussed it in The Italian Job. No, we have discussed it in the show today.

00:28:54

Today?

00:28:55

Mm-hmm. Like not even a minute ago.

00:28:57

Oh God, you know my memory's so bad. What did we discuss a minute ago? Crocodiles? Close.

00:29:07

Oh, close? Like close. It was right next door to crocodiles.

00:29:11

We were talking about it just then. Hunger Games.

00:29:13

Then the other one that we were talking about.

00:29:16

Fifty Shades? Yes. Who wrote a song for Fifty Shades? Tell me.

00:29:21

Ellie Goulding, Love Me Like You Do.

00:29:24

Oh, I don't think I knew that that was like for— was that a song created for the soundtrack, I believe, or a song that was put on this, this, the score.

00:29:32

I don't know.

00:29:33

I have a hard time believing it's an original.

00:29:35

It's such an amazing song. It was made for the movie. Wow. They were so unworthy.

00:29:40

100%. That, that franchise is turnt. Like, it's not good.

00:29:44

It's so turnt. But isn't that song so good? So crazy. I should listen to it in the car on the way home.

00:29:50

Love me like you do. I love Love original. Oh, I saw the funniest tweet about this. Somebody quote tweeted like this news and was like, Dan Warren is crying, because like this is obviously like an attempt at an Oscar. You become eligible for an Oscar as like a singer-songwriter.

00:30:06

Oh, it better be good when you write, and she better hope nothing pops off this year. She wouldn't stand a chance.

00:30:11

You really can't predict the song. Like you always think like, oh, Miley, or like if a big person— a lot of times like they don't win it and it's always random, but this is an attempt at that. Oh, she also wrote wrote for Cats a really good song. So I'll dance with your beautiful ghost.

00:30:28

I mean, she wrote for Miss Americana, Young. Oh, uh, only the young.

00:30:34

That's a good song. Yeah, she actually said like a lot, quite a lot. Yeah, this one better be good. Yeah, she's a pretty good track record.

00:30:40

Has she been nominated for an Oscar?

00:30:42

Like, first, I believe she was nominated for Beautiful Ghosts, and she went to the Golden Globes and everything. Remember she went with Joe and it was like a big deal? She wore that Dress?

00:30:48

No, I wasn't paying attention.

00:30:50

That's okay, you're probably busy.

00:30:51

Yeah, for sure. Um, are you ready for our next story?

00:30:55

Mhm.

00:30:56

It's a story that you had wanted to discuss, and let's, let's discuss.

00:30:59

So yeah, I need to, I need to talk about this.

00:31:01

So Phoebe Gates's new, not new, but you know, relatively new AI shopping app FIA has just closed a major round of funding, and it is completely star-studded. So FIA is an AI shopping app launched in April 2025 by—

00:31:16

if you watch Love Thy Neighbor, you know about it already.

00:31:19

Okay, or if you're just on Instagram, it's launched by Phoebe Gates, Bill Gates's daughter, and her college roommate Sophia Keaney. They have like this AI shopping extension where basically you like put it in your browser and it run— if you're buying something, it like runs looking for it on every other website. It'll give you the lowest price. It also scans like eBay for a used version. So if you're shopping, it's like a good extension for getting a lower price for what you want. Um, they also have a podcast.

00:31:42

Okay, so I saw this, and it was like everywhere because a lot of the people that I follow invested. It's a lot of like female celebrities, influencers, famous investors.

00:31:51

If I may share the investor list in this round, because there were previously some, um, well-known investors like Hailey Bieber, uh, Kris Jenner, Sheryl Sandberg, and Sarah Blakely were in the first round, but now they just closed their second round. The lineup includes Khloé Kardashian, Alex Earle, Mindy Kaling, Karlie Kloss, Eileen Gu, Sydney Sweeney, Paris Hilton, Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Alba, Shaboozy—

00:32:12

Shaboozy, the first man—

00:32:14

Ashley Graham, Halsey, Wendy Murdoch, Brooks and her— all of her sisters, Chrishell Lim, Sophia Amoroso, Rachel Zoe, Winnie Harlow, Lori Harvey, Ice Spice, Kate Bailey, Olivia Culpo, Amy Griffin, Lilly Singh, The Chainsmokers, Leila Hormozi, Gunna, and Jay Shetty.

00:32:32

And I just want to say, I hate everything about this. First of all, I have heard of Fia. They were on the Hulu show. Sophia Gates is Bill Gates's daughter.

00:32:41

Phoebe Gates. Sophia's meet?

00:32:43

Oh, okay. Um, they are like nepo to the next level. They have a podcast on the Unwell Network. They've had Kris Jenner on their podcast. These are like two people who literally have every advantage in the world, and like nobody cares about their company. Nobody cared before, even before they said Hailey Bieber as an investor. No one's using this company. And that's not even— it's not even a bad idea, it's a good idea. But like, okay, what, so you have more investors, more money now to continue to do what? Like, this— if that was me and like Bill Gates was my dad and I had this show and I could have Kris Jenner on, like, and Kris Jenner invested. Like, I'm sorry, like, it's a flop.

00:33:15

It's a flop. Yeah, they claim to have like over a million users. They're also like building out the tech.

00:33:19

Are the users in the room with us?

00:33:21

They're building out the tech so that like then the bot like knows what you like and will serve you other things. They make money by taking affiliate commissions when someone checks out through the app. They plan to make like a master shopping cart so that you can check out, check out from multiple websites in one place. Apparently like Google is also doing this. I think there are a lot of tech platforms that can do this. There's a lot of AI technology, you know. You could also put it into ChatGPT and say, find me the lowest price.

00:33:46

1,000%. No, and it's not that the idea is bad at all, but it's like there's something about this that isn't working. And they were— they're overcommitted now. They have over $33 million in funding. They had huge investors before. Her dad is Bill Gates, for crying out loud. And I see their clips on my TikTok from their podcast, Jackie. Not one view. Like, so—

00:34:01

and it's the biggest stars in the world.

00:34:03

So what's not— what is not working here? Yeah, I don't think more money is a problem. I don't think more celebrities is a problem.

00:34:08

I think I think that from what I've read in, in this Puff piece, like they have, you know, the structure and they have the product and the tech and everything's good. And so now they wanna connect with the culture. They're bringing in the culture vis-à-vis like all of these celebrities, but I just don't think anything with this many celebrities is going to be successful. Fire Festival. Like it shouldn't need that many people. We don't need all of these people to tell us to use this app. And also the person who's using this app wants the lowest price. Guaranteed. And I don't look to my celebrity to understand my budget, cardboard life, my cardboard needs. I don't think that this like connects the way that it needs to. Like, they actually should have had like more influencers who talk about these sorts of budgetary needs. I'm looking at one right here.

00:34:54

No, but the thing is, all these people invested. Like, I, I just wanna say, I think this is a bad investment, but like a lot of these people invest in so many things. And like, I think they say like literally 1% of your investments cover like all your failed investments. So I don't think anything— any people think they're going to like be getting their money out of this. But I just want to say like, I think it's a flop. And like, I've been seeing them now like chugging along for like years. This isn't a new app. I think maybe for some people this is the first time they're hearing about it. But like, I've been— because they went on Love Thy Neighbor, they went to her office and she was like, this girl boss business that Mary Beth Holland was like supposed to like, yeah, want to be. And it was just like, it was corny as hell. And it's very like The Future Is Female, uh, Sophia Amoroso talking point. Yeah, it's corny money as hell. Um, and like, it's not working.

00:35:33

So, and it's like, anything can like be successful if you're just gonna like have endless money, access, power, celebrities.

00:35:39

Yeah.

00:35:40

You know? So I just don't think anything that's meant to be successful needs this level of celebrity involvement, you know? And also at a certain point, like, people don't listen to celebrities.

00:35:50

You find on certain subjects for real.

00:35:52

Yeah. Like having a celebrity spokesperson, like I think sometimes it's It's good for like, you know, awareness, but people don't really listen to celebrities.

00:36:02

I do think the angle of like making a moment out of your investors is like an interesting— but now anytime I see Hailey Bieber, Khloé talking about this app, I'm like, first of all, you don't use it. And second of all, I know you're only telling me about it because you're an investor. So like it eliminates a little bit of like the, I think, authenticity. Yeah. And like the, um, the conversion. Yeah, like, why would I listen to you? You don't use this app and you're being paid, or, you know, I think the bigger thing is like, it's not really—

00:36:30

the app is like, should be marketed by relatable people who would use it, not necessarily people who wouldn't.

00:36:37

Yeah, so everyone on my feed was posting about this yesterday, and I was just like, I seriously was rolling my eyes. Yeah, but maybe I'll be wrong and it is a huge hit. I just like I would have thought this app would be over by now.

00:36:50

Not because now it's—

00:36:51

now it's like 2 years of me seeing it.

00:36:52

It's like more life on the periphery.

00:36:54

Now it's like even bigger and better, and I'm like, but it's not working.

00:36:58

Yeah, but I guess they can— like, other products that might have not like converted to being in the green at this point, like, would have to shut down because everybody has to like go home and like pay their—

00:37:08

pay their bills. Well, I saw that, um, and the girls themselves must be dazzling, you know, because I saw Khloé talking talking about how Kris went on the podcast. She was like so impressed with the girls that she invested and then like told her daughters about it, and that's how Khloé got involved. Um, so they must be like smart, charismatic. Like, it's impressive to pull like these kind of numbers, but you're also Bill Gates's daughter, so—

00:37:30

yeah, yeah.

00:37:32

Even though, you know, he famously like gives his kids $3 a month, like whatever.

00:37:35

I think it's like— I don't know if it's $3 a month. I think it's like 1% of his wealth, you know.

00:37:39

I'll take it.

00:37:40

Which is like $100 million.

00:37:42

Yeah.

00:37:42

Yeah. Um, okay. Ready for our next story? Mm-hmm. Anna Kendrick is set to direct Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo after the second filmmaker departs Netflix movie adaptation. So one of our favorite books of all time. If you are getting into reading or you're a reader and you haven't read Seven Husbands, you need to read Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. And for years it has been said that it's being made into a movie and we haven't heard much, but apparently two filmmakers have left and now Anna Kendrick is set to film, make Thoughts, Claudia?

00:38:08

Hate. I fucking hate this. First of all, she's not a director. Okay, so like a first-time female director, I'm good. She's not filming. I don't know why I said female, like just a first-time director, period. Oh, sorry.

00:38:24

First-time male director.

00:38:26

First-time director, like no.

00:38:28

First of all, it's giving Jesse Maldonado a thousand percent. A love book first-time actor director.

00:38:35

Oh Lord, that's what Justin Bell—

00:38:37

actually, she could be Celia.

00:38:39

Please no. Like, that's so— when we all talk for literally years about this book and who we would cast, Eiza Gonzalez, like Jessica Chastain, please, we, we never once brought up Anna Kendrick for a reason. Like, no, I hate this. Like, I just want to say— and where is it? Netflix, you say?

00:38:53

Netflix.

00:38:53

What did I say last week? When it comes to adapting books, leave it to Hulu. Netflix has an atrocious track record of adapting popular books into movies and TV shows. I didn't realize consciously until this moment that they were in charge of Seven Husbands. It's gonna be bad. Let's just all prepare ourselves. And now Anna Kendrick. So we have Netflix bad, Anna Kendrick bad. I hate this. Any other casting news or nothing, or just—

00:39:17

No. So, uh, they mentioned in this article how fans want Jessica Chastain to play Evelyn Hugo, but the actress shared years ago that there's zero possibility of it happening. I wonder why they want her to play Celia. It said Evelyn Hugo here.

00:39:29

Well, that article's wrong because Celia's redhead.

00:39:30

Yeah. And Evelyn Latin. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ana de Armas should play her.

00:39:34

100%.

00:39:35

I feel like she was cast.

00:39:37

Well, the book has now been talked about. A lot of the characters have aged out.

00:39:39

Like, we've been casting this for so many years.

00:39:41

Watch, it's gonna be fucking Anne Hathaway.

00:39:44

A screenwriter whose credits include Tiny Beautiful Things and Little Fires Everywhere wrote the first draft of the script.

00:39:50

It also sounds like the production itself is like in a bad place. Now it's a second director.

00:39:54

And then they had another one who's editing the script. Why do we know this? This.

00:39:59

We all collectively—

00:40:00

are we about to see the script?

00:40:01

New— our expectations. This is bad.

00:40:04

I hope that this gets stuck forever.

00:40:06

Yeah, I'd rather not have an adaptation than a really bad one. I hate to be so negative, I'm sorry, but I just— I don't want to— it's like, it's an important book to a lot of people. For a lot of us, it was a gateway to reading, like, and I'm scared.

00:40:20

Yeah, I'm really scared. Yeah, let's keep hoping that they can't get it off the ground.

00:40:25

Like, seriously, if you were to tell me that they're like tapping a random actor Anna Kendrick to direct. I would have thought like, you know, Eva Longoria directs, Margot Robbie.

00:40:34

Yeah, Sydney Sweeney directs.

00:40:35

She has a new production company. Never in my life would I have said Anna Kendrick. Like, this is such a bad call.

00:40:42

Sydney Sweeney could be Celia if she dyes her hair. That would be good.

00:40:46

Yeah, anyone can be Celia because like, yes, it'd be nice to have, you know, you, Madeleine Petsch, a redhead. But yeah, anyone can be redhead. I think the casting that's a little bit more particular is Celia. I mean, excuse me, is Evelyn, because it's all about this like Latin actress who's like white passing. So it's a— she doesn't have an accent or anything, but she speaks fluent Spanish. So there to be a little bit more. Yeah, but anyone can be Evelyn.

00:41:08

Yeah, Celia.

00:41:10

Sorry.

00:41:11

Yeah, so we'll wait and see. Hate. Are you ready for our next story? Yes. I, I hope— I just want to like, you know, hold your hand while I tell you this.

00:41:22

What did Sam Hunt do?

00:41:23

Pepe Garcia was—

00:41:24

oh please, I'm so over him—

00:41:26

spotted on a date with Miranda from Slamu. So Pepe Garcia from last season of Love Island, of Love Island, you know, Pepe of Iris and Pepe.

00:41:32

Oh, I just want to say, Pepe, I know people are gonna— and you're not gonna— this is gonna mean nothing to you— Pepe, on a very low-key way, people are gonna think I'm crazy, but he does give a little bit Garrett Graham. Just saying.

00:41:41

Go. Everyone's Garrett Graham today.

00:41:43

If only everyone was Garrett Graham today.

00:41:45

Um, was spotted on a date with Miranda from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. They were on a date in Miami, and there are some photos from their dinner.

00:41:54

So like, while I do love this, love to see Pepe back in the fold, just literally just as I unfollowed him maybe 2 days ago, because like, you know, we had to get you back. You know, these Love Island people, like, they really have such a— and I really felt like I was following him for a long time.

00:42:06

Because the thing about you, it's like you're a sweeper in all manners of life, like including your Instagram following. Like, for me, like, once I follow someone, like, I am committed.

00:42:16

You followed for life?

00:42:16

Pretty much. Like, through the highs and the lows. Like, it might be like 8 years before I unfollow someone that I followed on a random season. Yeah, I actually like just did that with one person. I I felt, I felt really bad.

00:42:26

Who?

00:42:26

No, I'm not saying, I'll tell you after. You won't even know who I'm talking about.

00:42:34

Oh, I know her. Yeah.

00:42:35

Do I unfollow?

00:42:36

Yeah. No, I'm kidding. Um, that's really crazy of you.

00:42:40

I'm like, yeah, that's just how I approach the follow. Like it's not a—

00:42:44

I'm a sweeper. Yes.

00:42:44

You, I feel like do a monthly sweep of your following. Not monthly, but like quarterly.

00:42:49

If someone's on my For You page and I'm like, oh, you shouldn't be there, I just immediately take action.

00:42:53

Yeah. It's the sweeper like nature in me.

00:42:55

You. Yeah, I just unfollowed him last week.

00:42:58

So he knew he had to get your attention.

00:42:59

Play for attention.

00:43:00

Um, he's spot on date with Miranda. Now I like Pepe, I think, because I think he cheated on Iris, and I don't like that.

00:43:07

So I like Pepe, but in the context of like Pepe as a boyfriend, he's certainly not who I would choose for any person, let alone like a mother. I don't think he cheated on Iris. I think they had like a bad relationship and he was like really mean after they broke up.

00:43:20

Oh, but why did they break break up?

00:43:23

I, I don't know.

00:43:24

Okay, I just feel like, you know, she's a serious girl, she has kids. I don't know if he's like— Iris? Oh, sorry, Miranda.

00:43:31

Oh, this is—

00:43:32

I don't know if he's like the stepfather they need.

00:43:35

No, he's not gonna be the guy who stepped up. Like, I think that it's clear based on her ex, like, she has terrible taste in men. Like, she obviously goes for the wrong—

00:43:43

it could be worse than Pepe though. Like, yeah, it could be worse, but I don't think he's that serious.

00:43:47

Again, yeah, when you're— when if you're a person dating and you also have kids, like, you can't be dumb like everyone else. Like, you can't just like fling yourself around. Like, you have to be a little bit more intentional, even when you're like single and carefree.

00:43:58

And she is intentional, so I'm gonna trust her on this. And maybe it's like he wants to be on the show a little bit.

00:44:04

They— and Dad talk.

00:44:05

Maybe he wants to be on Samo a little bit, and like, that works for me too. I like this storyline, even if it goes nowhere. Like, I'm interested.

00:44:12

And you know that like the former classmates from Love Island, like, last year. Their clock has run out. Like, the new season starts today. So if you're not Nicolandria—

00:44:22

did you see that video of Nicolandria at 11 in Miami?

00:44:26

Like, I did, throwing the dollar bills.

00:44:28

Nicolandria is just like— I think it's the loneliest place on Earth.

00:44:30

Not only that, I feel like Nic of Nicolandria is, like, really struggling. Like, I think she is getting all the, the love and attention, so the relationship really suits her.

00:44:40

Um, I don't think so.

00:44:41

It props her up. Like, she's really benefiting from it way more than he is.

00:44:46

Oh, I completely disagree.

00:44:47

He does like appearances and stuff. I think that like maybe at one point that was enough, but like she's at such a high level and he's literally just there.

00:44:54

I feel like she doesn't know fame outside of Nicolandria, and it's just comfortable for her. And I think they are good friends, and like, yeah, it's just what you know, and that's comfortable. But I think if she breaks up with him, like, she— her star would soar.

00:45:07

Yes, of course.

00:45:08

She doesn't realize that.

00:45:09

No, maybe she doesn't, but she's still having major success within Nicolandria.

00:45:13

Nickolandria is now stifling fully. But Nickolandria ends.

00:45:16

Nick ends. He doesn't get that.

00:45:18

It only goes down from here.

00:45:19

Of course, he thinks he's gonna be like the next Olandria and he's not. Yeah. But no, all the other castmates, besides for really them, I don't think anybody else is like really doing anything. Their time has run out. So yeah, running to a popular franchise like Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is pretty good strategy on Pepe's part.

00:45:34

Yeah, but there's always potsters and winter games.

00:45:37

Traitors.

00:45:38

Not Traders.

00:45:40

Well, not for any of them, but Maura and Rob, like, you can go for Love Island.

00:45:43

Rob did that. Rob did, um, but that was like a bigger season. I don't think any of them are big enough for Traders, but there's a lot of like, like, you know, Alandria could go on Traders. Yeah, she could.

00:45:52

She should. Yeah, maybe all that time away from her annoying boyfriend.

00:45:58

Well, maybe she'll fall in love on Traders. Has anyone ever fallen in love on Traders?

00:46:02

I don't think so.

00:46:03

I'm ready for it.

00:46:04

You know, JoJo Siwa was still with the guy that she fell in love with on Celebrity Big mother. I just saw her post like a carousel of their 1-year anniversary.

00:46:10

That was crazy. That was with like her girlfriend watching.

00:46:13

She came in gay and left with a boyfriend.

00:46:14

I know, but in her girlfriend— in a relationship too. Her girlfriend was watching her fall out with a man, right, on TV, and everybody was like, it's an act, they're being funny, they're friends.

00:46:23

No, no, they're in love. Yeah, I love that for her.

00:46:29

Are you ready for our fifth and final story?

00:46:32

If it's our fifth and final story, that's so many options. Brought to you by Outshine. Outshine. So Outshine is a refreshing frozen snack made with real simple ingredients like real fruit and fruit juice to help you snack brighter. Because Outshine believes when you snack good, you feel good. Outshine offers a wide variety of fruit bars, mini fruit pops that come in tons of crave-worthy flavors, and it's a refreshing snack that's just under 100 calories. Most of their bars are around 60 calories, plus the mini fruit packs come with a variety of 3 fruit flavors and are less than 40 calories each. We always have those ones, like the variety Packs stocked up in the freezer. Such a good summertime refreshing treat. Now when it comes to flavors, they have strawberry, mango, coconut, pineapple, watermelon, and then new black cherry. Plus they have fruit blends, which is two or more fruit flavors swirled together into one.

00:47:17

We love a swirl.

00:47:19

So they've got, and here are the flavors, and let's do a little game of to swirl or not to swirl.

00:47:23

Okay.

00:47:24

Cherry limeade.

00:47:24

Mm-hmm.

00:47:25

Choose your, choose your fave. Choose your player, as the kids say. Cherry limeade. Cherry limeade, piña colada, tropical breeze, blueberry lemonade.

00:47:34

I think I've got to swear with blueberry lemonade.

00:47:36

I know, I also, I do like a cherry limeade. Like, cherry lime is a good— yeah, I like when people just get creative.

00:47:41

Like a Jackson Clawd. Exactly. Two things that are so different but work so well together.

00:47:46

So true.

00:47:46

Everybody looks at them and says those two things could never, and then there they are 10 years later, and it's like, how do we ever have them separate?

00:47:51

A success. Um, what's inside every Outshine fruit bar? Real fruit or fruit juice and a good source of vitamin C. What's not inside is GMO ingredients. There's no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, colors, plus they're fat-free and gluten-free, so it makes it really easy to experience the joy of fruit. Many fruits are delicious but take work, like a coconut, you know. Who has the time? Well, you could just have an Outshine bar and get the same experience in a much less tense situation. I love a frozen snack. I love an Outshine. They're such a good thing to have like inventory. Yeah.

00:48:25

In the back. Especially like with summer coming up, it is so warm here. It's like a great way to cool down. The kids love it. Refreshed. It's fun for the whole family.

00:48:32

Fun for the whole family. Um, so when it comes to like favorite flavors, there's a couple that we'd like to discuss, but the watermelon frozen fruit bars, let's discuss them. Let's discuss them. The ones that are the frozen fruit bars that are made with real fruit. That's like an OG. We had those all the time growing up.

00:48:46

We did.

00:48:46

And honestly, it's such a, now like as a parent, like it's such a good snack. Um, but we, like, we were just loving it. We had no idea. Like it was just a delicious snack. Delicious frozen snack. They also have pineapple frozen fruit bars, which is also made with real juice and fruit. The mango frozen fruit bars, which has real fruit. And then the Outshine cherry mini frozen fruit pops that are made with real juice. You can find Outshine fruit bars and the mini fruit pops in the freezer aisle at retailers nationwide. I have to say, their distribution is on fleek. You can— every time I'm doing like an online order or I'm at the actual grocery store, it's so easy to find. And there's so many different flavors. I really do like— you can have like the wider ones or then the mini ones that have like the variety pack, and that's just good to have because then everybody's like, oh, I have blue, I have red. Have you ever seen Jake Shane like when he does the reveal? No, it's so— that's literally how it feels when you open the pop, like which flavor you're going to get.

00:49:29

It's true. Also, like whenever we go on vacation, they're like a staple on our grocery list, and like everywhere we go we get them and they have them.

00:49:35

Today's episode is also brought to you by Parallel. So a lot of women start pregnancy low on nutrients without even realizing it, so it's really better to build it up before you need it. Starting early with your prenatals take and supplements makes it easy to be calm and proactive, not urgent and stressful. So if you think it's too early to start a prenatal, it's most likely not. OBs actually recommend starting 6 to 12 months before you're starting to try try. Um, my— I had an OB once who told me like every woman of a certain age like should just be on prenatals instead of trying to catch up once you actually get pregnant. And then also sometimes like your hair grows, it's just like a nice little benefit, your nails get nice and strong. Um, and Parallel is such a great option for that before era, for the trying to conceive era, for the actual natal era. Um, they created a conception support pack for the in-between season. It's not just a generic prenatal, it includes nutrients OBs prioritize before conception like CoQ10, DHA, folic folate, choline. It's founded by a practicing OB-GYN, and there's literally no downside to starting early.

00:50:27

It functions basically as a really high-quality daily multivitamin, which, you know, most women should be taking. Most women don't. Um, if your timeline shifts, totally fine, you're just still supporting your body with pargy nutrients. Um, they even have vitamins for the man in your life if you want to get optimized for him as well during your trying to conceive era. So if you're pregnant, if you're trying, if you're postpartum, definitely check out Parallel. We really can't recommend it for actual pregnancy. I really like that their prenatals are, you know, they change. They have one for the first trimester, one for the second, and it's like, well, yeah, like, I can't believe that that's not a thing for everyone. So Parallel is really ahead of the curve. We have an exclusive code just for you guys where new customers can get, um, 20% off when you go to parallelhealth.com/toast and use code toast. That's p-e-r-e-l-e-l-health.com/toast, code T-O-A-S-T. 00:52:42

Host. Thank you, Sash Turt.

00:52:43

You're welcome.

00:52:44

I just saw an article on TMZ, like, I guess one of the new Love Islanders—

00:52:49

what they do now?

00:52:49

No, he's a former cop. Oh, and his boss is upset, and the mayor of his city is like, the fuck?

00:52:55

Because of course mayor's an arc. The guy did nothing wrong. Like, you're allowed to quit your job to pursue a reality TV show. We can talk about you behind your back, but like, for the mayor to release a statement— like, the guy quite literally did nothing wrong.

00:53:06

No, but he said like, police departments across the country are already struggling to recruit and retain officers. And like that, he left in under a year. You know, all those resources poured into his recruiting training.

00:53:16

Sure. But like to put the, you know, the national crisis on this one Love Island contestant.

00:53:21

Oh yeah.

00:53:21

Like it's a lot. It's a lot.

00:53:22

No, it's a lot. It is.

00:53:24

Sorry that that happened.

00:53:25

Of course, like going on a vacation where you could like potentially come away with a million followers and millions of dollars, like is—

00:53:32

maybe he could give that money back to the police force.

00:53:34

Like maybe he could, but you know what, at the end, and so of course it's like, by force, I'm going to be famous by force. But like, let's talk to him in 2 years from now, and I think he'll be— I think he'll be missing his Force friends. Yeah. And the stability of the Force. Not after— if you go through training, not after this.

00:53:51

Yeah, you definitely put a target on your back.

00:53:52

And I do think like sometimes you could like leave your position or take a leave to go on Love Island, like if you've been in the Force a while. But he's like there under a year, you know. That was like Kevin from The Bachelor was a firefighter. Yeah. And before, and then he went on The Bachelor and he's still a firefighter today. Like, it can be handled well. Yeah, but this guy—

00:54:08

but this guy also has no idea that like the former mayor, who he probably like never met or spoke to, was like rattling off about him publicly because he's in the island with no phone.

00:54:16

You know what's also crazy is like you look at like the new cast of Islanders that dropped and it's like, okay, whatever, it means nothing. But like if you think about past seasons, like those are the people who are going to be there the entire time. I know, the original Islanders.

00:54:27

Being an original Islander is such an unfair advantage, um, like to the point where like they have such toxic alliances that they keep voting.

00:54:36

Yeah, and it's like, I mean, it's hard to get to know people sound like a video, but I'm not like, like taken away by these. Like, it's just crazy that these people are going to move the showdown.

00:54:46

That's like a flaw with the show that like people come earnestly— I mean, Jaylen— people come with like good intentions and they get kicked off just because they have these like moronic alliances to like keep their friends there. Their friends who have no prospects, who are literally hated by everyone. Huda, like nobody wants to couple up with them. People literally, they're repellent, but they get to stay on. It's a flaw in the show. And I know now that I'm remembering everything, I get like pissed off.

00:55:09

And then when we get the chance to vote someone out, America, we're behind.

00:55:13

We have—

00:55:13

we're using old information and then we see an episode like Hannah and Pepe and Charlie and we vote out Charlie cuz we think Hannah likes Pepe, but Hannah likes Charlie.

00:55:22

Also, um, I saw like a— the intro video of this girl. She's, um, blonde.

00:55:27

She's like a cutie from Georgia.

00:55:28

Is that her name? Uh-huh. And I just want to say like, I seriously blame everybody who voted for Amaya. Like like that's what the producers— they're giving us more Amaya, more like, yeah, like sort of like, I hate that shit. Yeah. And it just looks— I never fell for Amaya.

00:55:42

No, not for one second. You can roll the tape.

00:55:44

You roll the tapes. Like, I never voted for her. And now people are like— it's— first of all, it's insane that she won.

00:55:50

It's insane that Brian won.

00:55:51

Yeah, right. Um, I never fell for it. And like, I just think that I will be rewarded in the afterlife for like never having fallen for the Amaya of it all.

00:56:01

Yeah, I agree. Who would you have had win the season? No, like, the thing is, no one. Iris and Pepe.

00:56:08

Well, of course, but like, they broke up. Ace and Chelly broke up, but at least they were real.

00:56:11

I would have had Ace and Chelly win the season. They deserve to win the season. They were there since day one and they were actually in a relationship.

00:56:16

No, they were in a relationship and they like effectively bullied everyone out. Like, sorry, that's winner. Like, you won.

00:56:21

Yeah, no, and everyone like, like, you know, yelled at him for being like a master manipulator.

00:56:25

Like, I don't know, maybe I would have had Huda and Swim.

00:56:28

But like, yeah, no, he manipulated. Like, great, right? It's not what you wanted. This is not what you guys do here, right? Our fifth and final story: Giants signed Braxton Berrios. Oh yeah, the Giants, uh, signed Braxton Berrios to their team. They held a high-profile wide receiver workout on Monday morning.

00:56:44

A wide receiver? They kept saying WR. I'm like, I could not— running? Yes, I was like, running? I could not think wide receiver. I was like, West Runner. I couldn't— okay, Wes Wilson, Madam Marble. Wes Wilson, Wicked Witch.

00:57:03

Uh, they held a high-profile wide receiver workout on Monday morning featuring Odell Beckham Jr., Juju Smith-Schuster, Braxton Berrios, and Anthony Miller.

00:57:12

So are they saying that like Braxton beat out all those people?

00:57:15

And he— the first winner of the competition was Braxton. But those people are on the team?

00:57:20

No, I think maybe they were like— it was like a tryout.

00:57:22

Oh, interesting.

00:57:24

Go Braxton! I think this is like kind of huge. I think this is for their relationship.

00:57:28

Agreed. But it's like, I'm starting to get the feeling now that like Braxton doesn't want to be with Alex.

00:57:33

Like, no fucking way.

00:57:34

But like, Braxton is the one who moved on. Like, Alex is the one who's like—

00:57:37

I'm saying, when you get like left in the dust, because I do believe that she broke up with him, like, you kind of have no choice. That's what we were saying last week. It's almost better to have been broken up with because there was nothing you could have done. Like, you have no choice but to move on.

00:57:47

I'm telling you, I think Braxton and ended it. And maybe it's because he wants like stability, like he doesn't want a girlfriend who's traveling all the time. Maybe he wants to like get married and have kids soon. I'm starting to get the feeling that Braxton ended it because if it was— if Alex had ended it and it was because like he's a big loser, um, this would be good place for the Texans. This is good for that narrative because now he's in New York, like, right? Yeah, for sure.

00:58:10

I think her like having to fly once a week to Texas like was really getting in the way of her business.

00:58:15

Houston.

00:58:15

I think if she had to be in New York once a week, she would probably— I mean, her sister lives in New York, her family's from New Jersey, everything New York Fashion Week.

00:58:19

Oh The Giants, like, don't they play in New Jersey? She could stay at her parents' house.

00:58:24

Yeah, no, but like, if she had to live in New York for the season, that would not affect her business at all.

00:58:27

Would probably be good for business, and she wouldn't just always like be running to leave. Whereas like when she's in Houston, she's there for Braxton and Braxton only.

00:58:33

Yeah, I do think that she's like slowly becoming a permanent resident of Los Angeles, which I'm watching, and I like hate for her, um, because I can only imagine what it's like to pretty much overnight become— not overnight, but like very quickly become so famous. And she probably that's like, let's just say brand deals, like maybe $15 to $20 million in brand deals a year. And like, she's already a Florida resident, like she doesn't pay income tax. And I see her moving— I know she bought a place in LA and now she's spending a lot of time there. I— it almost feels like she's spending more than half the year— I don't even think she has a place. She says a Braxtons member, and then I don't know where she stays in Florida. She's like never in Florida. I feel like she's giving up her, um, tax residency in Florida. I just want to say I think that's a huge mistake.

00:59:12

I feel like she won't give up her residency here and like she'll spend as many days as she can in LA. But I feel like her dad would never let her. No, that's, that's insane.

00:59:23

It's insane. Yeah, don't do it. Don't do it.

00:59:27

So I actually—

00:59:27

so the thing about Alex that's always been so great is like she's not one of those LA influencers, and she's randomly from Miami. Like, there's not a lot— she's the biggest influencer, of course, like in the world, but also in Miami. And it's been like this fun weird thing about her that she's not from like New York or LA. Um, so I kind of hate that for her.

00:59:41

No, and like when you become an influencer in LA, there's definitely like a lot of opportunities, a lot of like opportunities for collaboration. And I think when you're at a certain point in your influencing career, it's great to move to LA cuz rising tides raise all shides. But at an other point, like you do start to get like lost in the sauce and you're one of, one of everyone. Exactly.

00:59:56

One of many.

00:59:57

Exactly. So, but I actually saw, I don't know where I saw this, that like right now New York City is the number one city for influencers.

01:00:06

Uh, like what? TikTok?

01:00:07

For influencers. Just like the amount of influencers who live in New York is like more than than anywhere else right now.

01:00:12

That's cool, I like that. Yeah, they're obviously talking about me.

01:00:15

Of course, of course they are.

01:00:17

Well, congrats to Braxton. Like, he's employed. That's always a good way to get a girlfriend, like getting a job. This is for men everywhere, and that's a great segue.

01:00:24

Wife, I think. I know, I'm just saying, wants a wife.

01:00:26

That's, um, a good segue into Dear Toasters. Like, if you want a wife, if you want a girlfriend, the first thing you should do is get a job, because not enough men have jobs. Let's dive into Dear Toasters, our weekly advice segment where people write in, people in need, people in distress, listeners of this show wanting to get advice from their two favorite girls. If you ever want to write in, email to yourtoasters@gmail.com or head over to our website thetoastpodcast.com. Okay, hey Swirlies! So last summer my friends and I were bar hopping as young Toasters do, and I may or may not have had one too many, ended up making out with an older gentleman. In my defense, he didn't look that old, but it was captured on video and it's just like a funny inside joke for the past year. Fast forward last week, my mom goes and talks about this new man she's seeing and how she's so happy that they met through one of her coworkers at her new job.

01:01:06

Seriously, end the show!

01:01:07

My parents have been divorced for the past 6 years. This is the first time where I've actually seen my mom dating. She's so excited and happy, and I'm so excited for her to be so happy. Where this all goes wrong is I walked down the stairs last night and guess who the hell is opening a bottle of wine next to my mother but the same man that I kissed at a bar last summer. I ran the fuck out of the house. I have not said a single thing to anyone. I don't know what to do, and I'm so scared to see this man again in my house with my mother. I had to run and tell my Toasty Queens, deadass help, I don't know what to do.

01:01:32

I don't believe it.

01:01:33

You don't believe it?

01:01:34

No, like, I believe it, but I'm in shock.

01:01:37

Um, the thing is, I only wish you stayed with him a little bit longer to see if he recognized you. Like, is this a secret YouTube have, or only you remember? Like, if only you remember, it dies with you.

01:01:45

He definitely remembers. I don't know, everyone's drinking, but like, he doesn't drink like a party— like, it's shocking that she only really remembers because she has a video.

01:01:51

I don't know, like an older gentleman—

01:01:53

well, maybe he doesn't have the video, so he's not always looking at you, right?

01:01:55

And it's a year ago. An older gentleman having some drinks, not blackout. Like, I think there's actually a high chance that he could not remember.

01:02:01

I think it's time to move away from home, you know? There comes a time in every woman's life where it's time to leave the nest, and this might be be the thing.

01:02:09

Yeah, you don't tell— well, no, you don't tell your mom. No, no, sorry, you don't tell your mom.

01:02:15

You should call Noah Cyrus and get her advice.

01:02:18

See what she did? But I don't think she ever made out with Dominic Purcell. It was that she like loved him and her mom took him from her.

01:02:24

Stop.

01:02:25

This is also—

01:02:26

what was the idea of you?

01:02:27

Thank you. Yeah, except the girl was 11, so like she was never making out with Harry Styles. Like it was just a crush. Yeah, sharing a partner with a parent is obviously a bad situation, one I've never been in, so I can't help you. And Roadway Moving is an amazing moving company. It is.

01:02:51

And I think it's time to set up with Horizons in the hope that they break up, and then you can come home.

01:02:56

In terms of actual tangible advice, I would probably believe that this guy doesn't remember, although you do have to like see him again to see to see if there's any sort of like twinkle in his eye. Um, and if he gives off the vibe that he has no idea, like, unfortunately this is just your secret and you have to live with it. Just hope that they break up and start bad-mouthing him to your mom. Yeah, start like laying the foundation, being like, oh, you know, someone I know knows him, he, you know, he's a bad guy. Yeah, he's getting really aggressive. Like, I don't know, just like make some shit up. Make some motherfucking shit up.

01:03:26

That's terrible. That's actually maybe the worst one.

01:03:29

That's very dating.

01:03:30

It's really like we're stuck.

01:03:32

Like mother, like daughter. Next up: Hey Swirlies, I'm going to cut to the chase. I was sent a screen recording of a Tinder profile of my husband of 4 years, the father of my 5-month-old twins. The person who sent it to me is an old coworker who recognized my husband immediately. The profile had a different name, but the photos, bio information, and interests all match my husband. It even said father of twins, not looking for a mother. He claims it's a fake profile, his phone was hacked. In his defense, slightly, we checked and he did have fraudulent charges on his card. 90% of our relationship we've been solid, but post having the twins, we're on shaky ground with the drastic change. I just don't know what to think. Do I trust my husband? Should I be worried that he's at least emotionally cheating? Any advice would help. Sincerely, a tired postpartum toaster who doesn't want to single parent twins.

01:04:12

Yeah, like, is there not a way to confirm this?

01:04:15

Like, there is. Like, even if he deleted Tinder off of his phone, like, you redownload the app, you can see. First of all, if he is— you, when you go to an app store, go to his email, search Tinder.

01:04:24

Does he get like, hey, welcome to Tinder, emails.

01:04:26

Maybe he has like a burner email. Go to his App Store. If you have an app that you've already downloaded, even if you delete it, it would just say redownload.

01:04:32

Yes, but if you've never downloaded Tinder years ago, like, and true, it could come up.

01:04:37

Open the app, it'll say like re-login. Like, it'll memorize your stuff. Like, I'm sorry, he needs— you need a full fucking audit.

01:04:42

Yeah, you do. If he ever used Tinder before, it doesn't have to be today.

01:04:47

Like, but it might be his old profile that would come up with his real name. Yeah, if there's a fake-ass profile with like Danny or however.

01:04:56

Yeah. Um, I, I feel like there are ways to confirm. We don't have to like live in wonder.

01:05:00

Exactly. But, but sometimes I think people like prefer to live in wonder, especially at this stage of like being post-surgery.

01:05:05

I, I kind of want to say just like set it down for the moment, you know?

01:05:09

Yeah. I also respect, like, I think some people would rather be in like an iffy situation than like have to face, like, like you said, being a single parent, starting over with twins, 5-month-olds.

01:05:20

Like, I'm sorry, that not today.

01:05:23

Yeah.

01:05:23

Like not today.

01:05:24

If anything, he's like your live-in caretaker nanny until you guys can work this out. But like you're 5 months postpartum, like you're seriously so in it. Like you really shouldn't make, I think you said this once, like no major life changes should be made within 2 years of having a baby.

01:05:37

Yeah. And so not today, you know, not today. And so I don't know if he did or he didn't and you could spend the time trying to figure it out, but even if you found out that he did right now, like seriously, that would be incredibly inconvenient.

01:05:48

Truth. Yes. But you don't need to live in the gray area, Jackie. I think he's right. Like, they're very easy ways to figure out whether this was a real profile or a fake profile. There's a digital trail.

01:05:56

And also, like, you do need to know if he was cheating on you because you should not have sex with him.

01:05:59

Yeah, of course. No, no. So like, don't let him gaslight you into being like, it was fraud. Like, you can figure it out. Like, yeah, just because you have like a fake— your credit card got stolen, everyone's gets stolen.

01:06:07

And also, like, what's the fraud? Like, that could have been— is it him saying it's fraud, right?

01:06:13

You like, you need to spend like an hour, it'll be really quick, like figuring all this out. Yeah. And once you start the audit, he might just come clean. Perhaps, like, save yourself the time because who knows what else you'll find, you know?

01:06:24

Perhaps. And hopefully he can, like, rehabilitate himself.

01:06:27

Hopefully. And if— and nothing else, just he's your living nanny.

01:06:32

We'll see you in a year and a half, literally.

01:06:35

Hey, Jackson Claude, my husband and I got married about 9 months ago. We didn't live together before and we were both night shower people, so naturally, newlyweds infatuated with one another, we started showering together every night. But now, 9 months later, we still shower together every night and I'm growing to hate it. First, we have a tiny apartment shower. We're cramped and only one of us is under the water at a time. Second, I'm in the shower to decompress and get clean, but he loves the quality time, wants to hug and kiss. Something deep within me gets so irritated when I'm trying to wash my hair and he grabs my boobs. I feel like I'm so far deep into showering every day with him, and I don't know— I'm sorry, and I know that he loves getting to be together during this time, and he's so genuinely sad if he comes home and I tell him I've already showered. So Married Swirlies, how do I tell him to phase out of showering together?

01:07:19

Yeah, you need to just like start switch up your schedule. Like, yeah, your shower, your morning shower. Now, like, say you got like a keratin treatment and now you have to shower in the mornings for your hair. Like, I, I don't think you need to have a sit-down and be like, I don't like showering together, because that will hurt his feelings. And of course, at the end of the day, like, he's doing this because he loves you and like he wants to feel close to you.

01:07:36

But no, I just want to say I disagree. Like, I think you can have a sit-down conversation and tell him, like, if you don't have your shower time, like, and you're kind of setting tone for the rest of your relationship. Like, even when you live in close quarters with someone, the one place that you have to yourself is like when you're taking a dump or you're taking a shower. Like, and he's taken that from you. I just think like communicating— this is like a good opportunity, kind of a, kind of like a very innocent opportunity for you to like reclaim and like just be like, listen, I love you, like we could shower together sometimes, like daily. Like, for a girl, like we have a lot to do, like can you fuck off?

01:08:08

You could do that.

01:08:09

I would do it. This is a situation where I feel honesty is the best policy and it's a good, um, practice for just like saying hard things, communicating. You just got married, you're gonna have lots of conversations like this, even harder.

01:08:20

Yeah, but you could also just subtly back away from the shower.

01:08:25

Yeah, of course, you can change your routine. Um, yeah, get a perm.

01:08:29

Yeah, like shower before him. Yeah, also if you have a perm, then you'd be like, well, you get my hair wet.

01:08:33

And yeah, so there's a million like fake excuses where you could like blame just being her girl. But I think like, let's exercise our communication skills. Okay. It's not a slight against him, like, to want to shower by yourself, which is like a basic human right. I don't think you're asking too much, and I think if we like have to skirt around it, you're setting a bad precedent.

01:08:52

Yeah. Okay. I think either— sounds really sweet. I feel like it's really not a huge issue, and some girls have kissed their mom's boyfriends.

01:09:01

That's why it's important to have different, um, like, levels of Dear Toasters. Because like it makes your problems feel so small.

01:09:08

Yeah. And some girls out there who's hooked up with her mom's boyfriend— some girls have 5-month-old twins and are grappling with the fact that their husband might be on Tinder.

01:09:16

Not to make those girls feel bad, but yeah.

01:09:19

But to the girl with the Tinder husband, she kissed her mom's boyfriend. And to the girl with the mom's boyfriend, she has the husband on Tinder.

01:09:27

True. Perspective is everything. That's our show. Thank you to everybody who wrote into Dear Toasters. Thank you to everybody who listened. Hope you have an amazing day.
