00:00:39

It's Jackson Claude, and we're your hosts.

00:00:44

It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, It's The Toast.

00:00:53

They sound amazing.

00:00:55

Welcome back to The Toast. Happy Hump Day. Don't forget to hum someone you love. And speaking of girlies that I love and would just absolutely love to get a chance at humping. It is my girly, my swirly, my twirly, Jacqueline Follet. I love Ms. Follet. How are you doing? I'm trying to see how long I can go before you start saying something. And that's my girl, Jackie. I love my girl, Jackie. Keep going. Hi, you doing? Keep going. Solo pod today?

00:01:21

Solo pod. No, I'm here, you guys. Still here. Happy Hump Day. Feeling like the mascot of Hump Day with my lovely lady, Lumps.

00:01:31

Just one lump.

00:01:33

Lump, yeah. I'm like the camel with one hump. What's the difference between the camel with one hump and the camel with two?

00:01:41

So this is me learning that there's a camel with one hump. They all have two. What are you talking about? No, I feel like- Unless there's one that's disabled.

00:01:50

Why do some camels have one hump and other camels have two humps?

00:01:55

They don't.

00:01:57

I feel like they do. The difference comes down to species. And where the camels live. There are two main kinds of camels, Drôme dairy camels, one hump, and Báctry and camels, two humps. That's so funny because I was reading about Drôme dairy last night. You were? In the Babar book.

00:02:15

Lol. Okay, this is this type of conversation, information you're only going to get here at the toes. My God, why aren't you listening yet? Even though if you're hearing this, you are.

00:02:25

The Hump Day to Babar Pipeline.

00:02:27

It's very real.

00:02:28

It's very So Drome Derry camels are one. So interesting. Next time, if Hara asked me, What's Drôme Derry? Thank God he didn't ask me last night. I didn't know.

00:02:36

Just fun facts about Jackie and I. We have ridden camels. If you're a modern Jewess, you've been to Israel, part of when you're My first trip to Israel, you go to see Masada, you go to the Dead Sea, you ride a camel. I think I've ridden a camel a multitude of times. Yeah. I literally call me Countess Luanne. I've ridden a camel.

00:02:55

More than once.

00:02:57

Yeah. You're Habibi, bitch. Yeah.

00:02:59

Like, multiple times. I'm always riding camels.

00:03:03

It's actually insane how much the Real House West of New York trip to Morocco shaped me as a young woman. As you guys know, me and my high school friends, we watched Real House West of New York in high school growing up, and it literally made us who we are. Specifically, their trip. There were so many iconic moments from that trip. Luanne getting thrown off the camel, and then her just learning the word Yaha Bibi and making it her entire personality. Then, of course, the Hermon Monster shoes.

00:03:27

That was in Morocco?

00:03:29

I believe. Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes.

00:03:30

I feel like that was in New York.

00:03:32

I feel like it might have been in... No, because they were on a trip together. So you came down the stairs in your Hermon Monster shoes, but maybe the shoes were on the trip. But I feel like it was when they went to St. Bart's or something.

00:03:43

I feel like it was more local. No, she wasn't wearing Hermann Munster shoes in St. Bart's.

00:03:49

Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes. Literally so good.

00:03:54

Bruno, you look like a drum dairy.

00:03:57

You look like a drum dairy.

00:04:00

Oh, Bruno, get up here. We've got work to do.

00:04:03

Today is an excellent show, not to, you know, bragg.

00:04:07

To our own horn.

00:04:09

But we've got a lot going on. The story is dancing with the stars. Wicked Night recap was on last night. Literally best night of my life.

00:04:15

Yeah, that was fun. I watched Molly May Season 2 Part One. Just very enjoyable. But Molly's very stressed out.

00:04:24

I told you, Molly can't find anything to wear to the L'Oréal Fashion Show.

00:04:27

She needs to listen to The Toast.

00:04:30

I know. How do we recommend it to her without seeming self-involved?

00:04:34

I don't know how we even get to her. It's as if I lived on a different planet from her. There are a lot of people who are like, We're in the same orbit. We have a mutual friend. We have a similar agent, whatever. I have no connection to Molly May. I like it that way because I can really just be a true fan. But she has no idea what the toast is. I don't think she ever would or could.

00:04:52

That's why she's feeling overwhelmed and not in her best self.

00:04:55

Yeah. No. Also, she's very overwhelmed by motherhood. That was a very big theme of the show. I just feel like she would like our swirly take on it.

00:05:03

1,000%. If you are someone you know, knows Molly May, send her this episode.

00:05:07

Yeah. Or just a mom who needs a little bit of light and laughter. Just to take the edge off.

00:05:14

1,000 100%.

00:05:15

The Toast.

00:05:16

The thirst. Or as they call it, the crumpet.

00:05:20

I don't know one. If I needed to reach Mollie Mae, I couldn't think of one way to get there.

00:05:27

Yeah. She's also super private. It's just like she hangs out with her family, and that's it.

00:05:31

Yeah, baseball and her mom and her friends.

00:05:34

Is that bad? Iconic reference.

00:05:38

Thank you so much.

00:05:40

What movie do you think we quote the most here at The Turst? Mean Girls.

00:05:44

Mean Girls? Yeah, it's cliché for a reason. We quote other movies, too, like Sleepover, some of the greats and more indie films. But we do quote Mean Girls the most. It's the most quotable.

00:05:58

It's the most quotable. The The thing is, Mean Girls is the best movie ever made. It's insane to me that Tina Fé literally didn't get a Nobel Peace Prize for that movie. It is the greatest piece of cinema ever made. It literally made us who we are.

00:06:14

Yeah. It's not even Chuggy to love it. It's just that good.

00:06:18

They tried to remake it for the kids, and the kids were like, No, we actually prefer the original.

00:06:22

Yeah, that was a low point.

00:06:24

I would say that Mean Girls, Clueless, we also quote a lot.

00:06:28

Legally Blonde, we quote so much.

00:06:30

Legally blonde. And Sleepover. And Sleepover. Julie Corky.

00:06:35

And then we just have random ones.

00:06:37

Yeah, like my cousin Vinnie or like...

00:06:39

13 Going on 30, even though that's not really that random.

00:06:41

No, 13 Going on 30 goes in the Panthenon, I think.

00:06:44

Yeah, we quote it a lot.

00:06:45

Yeah. I'm going to a party at a limo.

00:06:49

She's Lucy Wyman now.

00:06:53

Quoting movies is my favorite.

00:06:55

Mine as well.

00:06:57

There was a time... I haven't really seen Mean Girls in a while, But there was a time when we would need to watch a movie and we would watch it every night. If you were ever in the room with me when that movie was on, you wanted to leave that room. I knew every word to the entire movie. I probably don't now.

00:07:12

That's like that movie where they go to cheer camp and they play Bring It On for the campers, and the whole camp is quoting every single line. Bring It On is also very quotable. Is it?

00:07:24

I feel like we... No, Stick It.

00:07:27

We love Stick It.

00:07:29

Stick It's I have Indy.

00:07:31

Sticket is indie.

00:07:33

Sticket is indie. Brasht. Ow. That hurt. Not me in my big nursing bra. Yeah, those are the best movies ever. I don't know what kids these days watch and are inspired by and raised by, but my whole worldview was curated by Clueless, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, Stick It, Sleepover. That's why I'm an amazing, hilarious, cool person. Do you know what I mean?

00:07:59

Yeah, I think they're being shaped by K-pop demon hunters at the moment.

00:08:03

Well, actually, I saw- Which doesn't seem like the worst thing. I saw this TikTok. It was actually very analytical about the collapse of young adult media and how... Because somebody made a TikTok and was like, Who are the girlies of Disney channel right now? We all were raised with Selena, Demi, Hannah. Who are the girls right now? And somebody was like, There aren't any. Due to social media, TikTok, it has really collapsed this genre of teen media that we were all raised by. And we look back So finally, that doesn't exist. Now, there are shows being churned out on Disney and nick, but it's not this tween culture, tween obsession. No.

00:08:38

And it's also not really happening on Disney and nick, is more so. Summer, I Turned Pretty.

00:08:43

Right. And that's scary because they're happening on adult platforms. Very scary. So it's like you get Amazon Prime to watch a Summery Turned Pretty, and then you have access to like...

00:08:52

Molly May's documentary. Right.

00:08:54

Sure. That's what they're watching at night.

00:08:57

That's a really bad influence.

00:09:00

So, yeah, the collapse of tween media is very real.

00:09:02

Speaking of movies, you know what movie I watched this week? And I didn't even tell you. I'm so private.

00:09:07

I'm ready. You watched a movie? That's so crazy of you. I know.

00:09:09

But- Downton Abbey. What did you think? I thought it was adorable to see everyone back together. Literally nothing happened. The plot was thinner than a plot of an episode of the show.

00:09:21

It was a bad plot.

00:09:22

There was no plot, but I was glad- Mary is considered taboo because she's getting divorced. So we're going to We're going to have a dinner party for her. That's literally an episode of the show. We're going to have a dinner party. And everyone who in the last movie was retiring and move on, in this movie, it was their last day.

00:09:43

Yeah, right.

00:09:44

Okay.

00:09:45

But I love that they're milking it for all it's worth. It's that type of franchise where they really can't ever do anything wrong. So, yeah, just get everyone back together and put a camera on. I'm down. Yeah.

00:09:54

No, I agree, but it's just funny who have become the mainstays Because they used to have a dinner. Every night, they would have dinner, and there were so many people there. But now the family is paired down, and now Mr. Mason's at the table.

00:10:10

Mr. Mason.

00:10:13

Patmore's husband.

00:10:14

Yes, Ms. Patmore getting down and nerdy.

00:10:17

When Patmore and- Elsie. Elsie were having sex talk.

00:10:24

Yeah, I was uncomfortable.

00:10:25

Like a swirly sex chat. Oh, my God, I was cracking.

00:10:29

Speaking of Elsie, Elsie Hewitt, who is Pete Davidson's girlfriend and mother of his future child. Do you know she used to date Betty Blanco?

00:10:41

I know that Selena said he traded some trash for treasure or something.

00:10:44

Yeah, Selena Gomez liked a TikTok that was nasty about Elsy. Shocker.

00:10:49

Yeah. Then she'll say she got hacked, yeah?

00:10:52

No, Elsie's bullying Selena, Jackie, and leave her alone.

00:10:55

Yeah.

00:10:56

Seriously, how dare you?

00:10:58

I can't believe we're still here.

00:11:01

No, actually, I don't know if you know, you actually don't know, but we went viral on TikTok for our take on Selena, and I was like, Oh, Selena fans are probably coming for us.

00:11:08

Was the world ready for it?

00:11:09

They were like, Nature is healing. We can finally speak the truth.

00:11:14

Oh, I love that.

00:11:16

Yeah. We actually went viral twice, 432 Park. People were really interested. They both got like a half a million views.

00:11:21

Oh, my God. Classic us.

00:11:23

Yeah, we went viral twice in one day. It's literally not a big deal. We're used to this attention and virality. Stop making it a big deal. Yeah.

00:11:30

You sent me a clip yesterday from our show five years ago. Where did you find that clip?

00:11:36

There is an amazing new TikTok account that is committed to posting archival toast content. I'm obsessed with it. And yeah, They sent a hilarious clip about Jackie and I.

00:11:48

It's just funny. I'm going to post it to my story. I hate meaning to post it to my story because it's just really funny. But also what's funny about it is it's not something that we clipped back then. I don't even think we were doing clips. It's just a random moment that would have otherwise been completely completely forgotten in the anals of her story.

00:12:04

I cannot encourage people enough to source and post archival toast content. It makes me so happy.

00:12:12

Yeah, it really does. I'm like, We're seriously so funny.

00:12:15

And we always have been.

00:12:17

And it's my reaction to what you said in that clip. I don't want to spoil it. I don't even know if that would have been my reaction now. What a funny reaction I had.

00:12:26

But that's also just the cool thing about documenting your...

00:12:28

Yourself.

00:12:29

20s And your turd self-lid. Over time. It's a little bit scary, but you do get to see yourself evolve.

00:12:35

Yeah, it's a little bit scary. Let's not act like it's without fight.

00:12:39

No. It's a little bit scary.

00:12:42

It definitely comes with its share of frightful moments.

00:12:46

Yes. Speaking of fright, Halloween's coming up.

00:12:49

Yeah.

00:12:49

Do you have plans to get in costume for your personal life or no?

00:12:53

Of course I do, because that's what being a mama is now.

00:12:56

Yeah, but you might be out of commission. We don't know.

00:13:00

Yeah. But even if I'm most likely, I'll be able to put a costume on.

00:13:07

You could be a pumpkin.

00:13:08

Well, no. I could just wear a costume.

00:13:11

What is the family getting dressed as?

00:13:14

I don't want to spoil I have a toilet.

00:13:16

For real?

00:13:19

Toy Story.

00:13:21

Oh, cute. Who are you? Freckly Girl?

00:13:23

Jess, what's her name? Jessie. Well, Kayla's Jessie.

00:13:26

Oh, right. It's not the kids. It's not about you. What are you, Andy's I think I'm going to be Bo Peep.

00:13:35

You don't know Bo Peep?

00:13:36

Mm-mm. She's in Torse.

00:13:37

The Sheppardess. Little Bo Peep. The Sultry Sheppardess.

00:13:41

You are literally a sultry Sheppardess. I could see it. You don't even need to put on a costume. Yeah. What does that make Zack?

00:13:47

Oh, Zack is going to be... I think he's Rex. Bruno is slinky. Oh, we already got his costume, and the kids are so excited.

00:13:54

Bruno. Bruno is slinky. That's cute. I have no plans. I really need to because it's so cute. I've seen a lot of baby costumes where it's like, you put them in a pumpkin. That's cute. You put them like a little check hatching out of an egg. That's cute. I don't know. I just feel like I could do better than that.

00:14:11

Are you going to go trick or treating?

00:14:13

Well, I could.

00:14:16

For yourself?

00:14:17

Yeah, it's embarrassing. Ruby can't even hold up his own neck, right? So he's not eating candy.

00:14:25

No. But I think you could still go. You have clearance. If you want to. I do. Yes, I do. Otherwise, you can man the door.

00:14:33

Well, it's just that time of year where I'd like to remind everybody who lives or works in a building with a desk that you have to have a bowl of candy out. It's not right if you don't, and it should be illegal not to. I love when you just walk into different office buildings and you go to your friend's house and on their dorm and desk, there's just a little bowl of streets.

00:14:51

You just have all these chocolates in your pocket for the next few weeks. Hopefully, they don't melt. Hopefully, it's not a Reese's cup that's not contained, because if it melts, It leaves the expanse of the rapper.

00:15:03

Oh my. Same with a hershe's kiss. Sounds like she speaks from experience.

00:15:06

Same with a hershe's kiss.

00:15:08

A hershe's kiss is really good. I actually feel like hershe's kisses are not utilized in the way... Everybody's home should have a little bowl of hershe's kiss. It's like a mint on your pillow.

00:15:18

Yeah, unless you live with Bruno.

00:15:21

But also, don't be getting quirky and weird with your selects. The standard chocolate. Don't do the one with the big almond in the middle or a flavor.

00:15:30

Just- It's sometimes fun to switch it up. No, it's not.

00:15:34

I want the Silver Wrapper, and that's it. Do not get the Purple Wrapper. The Purple Wrapper is dark chocolate.

00:15:38

Oh, no. Oh, no.

00:15:41

Oh, no. I got to sit down with a big bowl of candy soon. I haven't done that in a while.

00:15:46

I know. Me neither.

00:15:48

I feel like we have a lot to do. We're just dilly dally here talking about Halloween candy because we've got dancing with the stars. We've got Fast Five. There's no time like the present.

Com.

00:20:37

Great. Thank you. You're welcome. Our first story, the five stories are in order of no importance. Just like random interesting bits and bobs. Our first story is very turdy-coated on a number of levels. Mariska Hargitay- Who got a DUI. Mariska Hargitay reveals that she auditioned for Friends, and here is who she would have played.

00:20:57

Let me think. A young Mariska Mariska. It's giving Rachel.

00:21:03

Mariska was on Good Hang with Amy Poehler talking about their careers the early days. Mariska actually wanted to be a comedian, so it was very surprising.

00:21:11

I slay.

00:21:11

So Phoebe. She didn't know how she ended up as America's Sweetheart Sex Cop. She said she- Wait.

00:21:17

Oh, right. Because she investigates sex crimes. I thought it was like, She's a sexy cop. I'm like, She's not in the show. She's just a hard ass.

00:21:24

I need to call yourself that. She was saying to Amy, I should have had your career as as a comedian. She auditioned for the role of Monica.

00:21:36

Oh, so literally the last person I didn't guess. Well, that would not have been a good role for her.

00:21:41

That would not have been a good role for her. Why? I feel like it would have actually been great.

00:21:47

Well, Monica's not funny. She's annoying as hell. When I think of a young Mariska, I didn't know she was doing comedy. The funny person on the show, specifically the funny woman, was Phoebe. That's why when you said funny, I thought Phoebe. But then just in terms I would have thought maybe Rachel. I would not have thought Monica. But Friends is just one of those shows where you hear Ellen was supposed to be Phoebe. Nobody else could have done what the six of them did. Do you know what I mean?

00:22:11

I actually feel like Ellen could have been Phoebe and Mariska could have been Monica.

00:22:15

No. You've never even seen the show, so what the hell do you know?

00:22:20

But that's why I can speak to it at a glance.

00:22:24

I just saw something funny, actually, about Friends. Hold on. They wanted somebody... Hold on. Hold on. David Schwimmer.

00:22:38

Yeah, like young. What Courtney Cox looks like Mariska.

00:22:42

I can't remember what I found. I can't see it, but maybe I'm too close to it.

00:22:49

I think you are too close to it. It's funny because I actually don't even know who's had more success. They've both had so much success. I don't know who has more money. It worked out for both of them.

00:23:00

Are you talking about Courtney Cox?

00:23:01

And Mariska.

00:23:04

Yeah, I would say in this moment right now, it worked out a little better for Mariska, but- Because her show is still on. Right. About 20 years ago, Mariska was just cursing Courtney's name because Courtney was this young, hot thing, and everybody wanted Courtney. But now she's in her retired era-ish, and Mariska still churn it out. Do you think Mariska will ever leave that show? Everyone has left. They've come back, they've gone. But The one stable figure is Mariska. She's never left. I bet she loves her job. I bet she's so grateful.

00:23:39

So I guess whenever she's ready to retire, as you would at any job.

00:23:43

Right. It's like Ellen Pompeo on Grey's Anatomy. Everyone has left, but she's the last woman standing. And when she decides it's her time, I feel like it's also the time for the show.

00:23:54

Yeah, it will inevitably be. They won't know that, and they'll keep going.

00:23:58

Right.

00:24:00

We will know that it's ever.

00:24:02

It's actually insane that Lawn Otter still puts out new episodes. People a lot watching Keep up with the new ones. Not to sound like a grandma. I'm for the old ones.

00:24:14

Yeah, but the new ones, they cover relevant topics.

00:24:17

Yeah, they fictionalize popular... Not popular, like- Well-known stories. Well-known stories in the last couple of years, which is cool and interesting. Yeah.

00:24:30

Super cool.

00:24:31

Sending love to Mariska, and most importantly, Mariska Harkerté's husband.

00:24:35

Our next story- You know what?

00:24:37

I need to add to my contemplate, My Mom Jane. I've heard it's amazing. I've seen just clips on social media, Mariska's documentary about her mom, who was famous actress, Jane Mansfield. I need to watch it.

00:24:49

You should. Put it on your list.

00:24:51

I don't have a list because I just... When I want to watch something, I just watch it.

00:24:55

You're not going to remember. I know. And then you're going to say, What was that thing? Just write it down.

00:25:00

I know. But these days, Ben's attached to me, and I can't watch stuff alone. Do you know what I mean? So it has to be couple friendly. That's why I'm watching Chad Power's.

00:25:09

He would like that documentary. He likes Marish.

00:25:14

He does like Marish, but I don't know if he cares about Jane.

00:25:18

Well, if he wants to spend time with you, he's going to have to conform to turdy's interests.

00:25:23

Also, speaking of Ben's interest, huge news. I can't believe we didn't talk about, but the NBA is back on the NBA. Do you know about this? No. I guess Ben was explaining. I was trying to care, but it was hard. Ben's whole life, NBA games were always on the NBA, and they had this funny jiggle. Then they lost the contract a couple of years ago, and it's been on ABC for a while. But as of this NBA season, which started yesterday, NBA is back on NBC, and they have Michael Jordan as a emcee. What's it called, the sportscaster? No, Like the emcees.

00:26:01

Host. Host. Yeah. Like a broadcaster.

00:26:03

Big deal for the boys, the Brunson boys.

00:26:06

But why?

00:26:08

I don't know.

00:26:09

Because NBC, ABC, that's the same thing to me. It's not like he was having to watch it on MSG channel.

00:26:14

Yeah, I don't know why it matters, but I'm here to tell you that it does to some people.

00:26:19

Oh, okay. I guess my husband doesn't watch that much basketball.

00:26:22

No, he's more football. Ben's more basketball. Yeah.

00:26:24

My husband watches a lot of football and Colin Cowherd.

00:26:29

Not I'm a fucking Colin Cowherd. I don't even know who that is.

00:26:33

He's like a- No, I know.

00:26:35

He's like, Zex friend. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us. He's like us.

00:26:38

He's like us. Our next story is a little more throwback news because Chloe Kardashian is responding to Savannah Guthrie's career regret over a 2012 interview that she did with Chloe. So Savannah Guthrie was talking about- Are they both stories?

00:26:52

I haven't heard, and I'm so chronically online.

00:26:55

Yeah, no. And they're both pretty juicy. So Chloe's reacting to Savannah expressing regret over a Dishy question that she asked the Reality Star in 2012.

00:27:06

Oh, Savannah's getting ahead of some resurface clip, Cancel Savannah Guthrie is Over Party.

00:27:10

No, she revealed that she regreted in 2012. She asked Chloe about the OJ fraternity thing on the Today show. Oh, that's weird. And so E-News wrote up the story and posted it to Instagram.

00:27:26

Had the clip started to make the rounds or Savannah just pulled it out of the archive.

00:27:31

I think Savannah just pulled it out of the archive. And then Chloe commented on the Instagram post saying, She's a doll. It takes a big person to take accountability, and I just love her with a bunch of hearts.

00:27:41

Chloe's a bigger woman than me.

00:27:43

Yeah. She opened up about interviewing Chloe back in 2012 on Monday's episode of The Today Show. She said, I asked Chloe Kardashian 10 seconds before we were going to break about the rumors that her father, Robert Kardashian, wasn't her father.

00:27:58

That's just an insane thing to do before a break.

00:28:00

She admitted that she waited until the last minute to bring it up because she felt so embarrassed. She praised Chloe for her class act response. At the time, Chloe clarified that there was nothing to the headlines. In February Savannah, I guess, talked about this and said that producers really wanted her to ask the question, so she did what any naive green anchor would do, and she did it. And that's just horrible.

00:28:26

That's an insane question.

00:28:29

Especially It's on the Today Show. That's insane.

00:28:31

You're right. The Today Show doesn't lend itself to really thoughtful long-form content because it's three-minute segments, commercial break. So it's really just like fluff. And so to ask it on that show in general is just not the place to ask it three seconds before a commercial break. What were they expecting her to say?

00:28:49

I don't know.

00:28:50

Yes, he is. I'll tell you more after the break.

00:28:53

Really crazy. It's just crazy how it's such a different time. It's almost 15 years ago. It was the '80s.

00:29:00

People were just- You know what? And so much has changed. And thank God, the Today Show is no longer the place for breaking news or long-form content, not to make everything about us, but podcasting really has replaced that. And it's funny how if Chloe had something to say now, the Today Show is probably the last place she would go.

00:29:19

Yeah, I think she was just doing press for the new season. Actually, she would probably still do something like that now. Not for Today Show. Just to do a stop to promote a show. But they wouldn't ask ask such taboo questions. They're just there to be a part of the machine.

00:29:37

They're just there now to create content between ad breaks. Yeah. That's really crazy. It's also just funny what stays with people. Chloe might not have even thought about this as a Roman Empire moment for her, but clearly, Savannah, from that day, has never forgotten. And it's just funny what people remember, what shakes them.

00:29:57

Yeah. So I'm glad that they were able to put this to bed.

00:30:01

Yeah.

00:30:02

Are you ready for our next story? Some more Kardashian-related beef. This story is really crazy. Ben Simmons' sister is knocking Kendall Jenner in a new TikTok. So NBA star Ben Simmons, who used to date Kendall Jenner. His sister Olivia recently took to TikTok to mock Kendall's skills in the kitchen.

00:30:28

She went on TikTok to tell this story. She told it in such a nasty way. And then by the end of the story, I was like, Wait, that's the story? I didn't understand. I thought there was going to be some big reveal. It was beyond anticlimactic. She just shared a story about it. She was hanging out with her brother and his girlfriend, who at the time was Kendall.

00:30:46

She said Kendall Jenner. She didn't even do what most people do, which is my brother's ex-girlfriend, where everyone can- Who was a model. Put together who it is. She literally straight up. My brother used to date Kendall Jenner. I will never forget the time we, as a family, were sitting around playing cards against humanity, and she was like, I'm going to bake some cookies. She said her first thought was, First of all, you're Kendall Jenner. Don't you guys have a chef? We saw you cutting up cucumber, bitch. You don't know how to cook.

00:31:14

So fucking crazy. We keep going.

00:31:17

She said, Kendall whipped out, quote, readymade cookie dough, noting you really don't have to do much. Ready-made cookie dough. But put it in the right place at the right time. The only thing that you need to do is them up evenly. But apparently, Kendall couldn't even do that. She said, I have never seen so many uneven cookies. What in termination. Uneven. She said, You rich bitch, if you don't call your fucking chef to come, you Don't call your chef to come and cook these cookies for you. Anyways, it was just hilarious because the Kardashians, the Jenner's, they're just weird bitches.

00:31:53

And imagine if Kendall had said, I want cookies. Let me ask the chef to make. She'd be like, My brother's girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, couldn't even make her own cookies. She had to have the chef come and do it even though it was slice and bake cookies. She had an accent, too. Yeah.

00:32:06

Doesn't slice and bake give you an indentation of where to slice, though?

00:32:09

Yeah, and that's what she was saying, that Kendall couldn't even follow the slice.

00:32:13

Oh, I don't believe that.

00:32:14

Who gives a fuck? First of all- I don't believe that. I immediately... Oh, wow. Jackie doesn't believe women.

00:32:21

I- I don't believe woman.

00:32:23

Woman. I immediately felt fiercely defensive of Kendall Jenner in this moment, because first of all, I could tell from The second the video started, this girl had a chip on her shoulder about something. She came off so nasty and so rude. Then by the end, I was like, Oh, she really hates Kendall because there was no there, there. It wasn't a crazy story. I thought what she was going to say was so big. It's like the whole thing was that she didn't cut the cookies evenly.

00:32:47

She made some mismatch cookies for the group game night.

00:32:50

I just want to say, now that I think about it, when I think of the slice and bake, it's like the Nestlé ones that come in a square and they have the indentations. You're just supposed to break it off. It really doesn't break off perfectly.

00:33:01

No, but also there are kinds that come as a log where you literally just slice and bake. I think that's what she's saying, that she fucked up. This is so crazy. Ben, you need to call your sister.

00:33:15

Oh, big time. I know nothing about Ben Simmons. I didn't even know he had a sister. Now that I do, I absolutely hate this girl. She was so... Guys, the attitude, the tenor of her voice was so mean, really just mean-spirited. Now, maybe she had a really bad experience with Kendall as her brother's sister, but I'm sorry.

00:33:34

Share the bad experience, not this.

00:33:36

We don't know that. She just comes off looking so mean for no reason. I don't understand the purpose of the video. It was not a crazy or interesting story. She just comes off looking bad. It was so mean. What the fuck? It was like, Nobody, nobody, nobody. Ben Simmons' sister. That fucking bitch, Kendall Jenner.

00:34:00

Is she British? What?

00:34:02

She had an accent. She did. Do you want me to play for you? Yeah, sure. I don't know. It sounded like Australian.

00:34:11

Are they Australian?

00:34:14

I don't know. Hold on. I'm finding it.

00:34:16

She has an accent.

00:34:22

I will never forget the time we were all... As a family, we were all sitting around.

00:34:26

We were all... I don't know what accent that is.

00:34:28

They know you're right. Sounds Australian. I Baby.

00:34:31

And she was like, I'm going to bake some cookies. First of all, you're Kendall Jenner. Why don't you guys have a chef? We saw you cutting up cucumber, bitch. You don't know how to cook. So she's like, I'm going to bake some cookies. So she starts like, Hang on, sorry. Ready He made cookie dough. So you really don't have to do much, but put it in the right place at the right time. The only thing that you need to do is chop them up evenly. No, stop, because I have never seen so many uneven cookies. Like, what? What? Intonation. You, rich bitch. If you don't call your fucking chef to come and cook these cookies for you. Anyways, it was just hilarious because they're just all... The Kardashian's, the Jenner's, weird bitches. And I know. I was sitting next to her.

00:35:19

You don't know.

00:35:21

Congratulations. I seriously... I wanted to look at her comment section. What was the... Did anybody else think that it was just so random and mean?

00:35:30

That makes me really mad.

00:35:32

I know.

00:35:34

Why should she call her chef to come make slice and bake cookies?

00:35:39

And if she did, imagine. That would be bad. Would she tagged Kendall Jenner.

00:35:46

What is going on?

00:35:49

Because, girl, we've seen that cucumber video. What the Heli? Call the Chef because the cookies were terrible. Laught, laugh, laugh at Kendall Jenner.

00:35:56

She thinks she's so funny.

00:35:58

Comments, yeah. Okay, so you're a mean girl. Did you flirt with her and she rejected you? That's mean. All the comments are saying...

00:36:08

What are all the comments saying?

00:36:09

She dated your brother, and the most you can say is she made you uneven cookies. Bye.

00:36:14

You're saying maybe she had a bad experience with Kendall, which is why she doesn't like her. Share the bad experience because you're sharing, you're spilling tea.

00:36:21

Everyone's saying, This is so mean for no reason. I'm not defending her, but hypothetically, if she called the chef, you'd have a story time about her. Right. Not her living in your head five years later rent-free.

00:36:36

I'm sorry, Ben Simmons needs to call his sister and take her phone away. Big time. Cancel the phone plan for the sister.

00:36:42

The comments are making me laugh, and the crowd is confused. I was ready for the tea, and you served poison. This is seriously funny. I can't believe you're making me defend Kendall All of this over some cookies?

00:37:04

I can't. Okay, I'm glad that we're aligned.

00:37:09

The comments are just cracking me up. Yeah, okay, so mean. I had such a visceral reaction to that. I'm like, Oh, okay, now I have to make a Kendall Jenner's Stan account. You know when somebody makes you feel fiercely defensive of somebody you don't even care about? That's how you know that they're wrong.

00:37:23

Yeah. It's like, you should be able to play Cards Against Humanity with your boyfriend's family and not- In peace. Yeah.

00:37:29

And If Ben Simmons wants to keep dating women who are famous and beautiful models, his sister needs to shut the fuck up. Because Ben Simmons is a man about town. He gets around, he gets beautiful women famous women. If I'm a beautiful, famous woman, and they say, Oh, Ben Simmons wants to go on a date with you. I'm like, Oh, the guy who's sister made that nasty video of Kendall Jenner?

00:37:51

I'm good. No, thanks.

00:37:53

She's a cock blocking him.

00:37:55

Yeah. No, he's got to call her up. Are you ready for our next story? Our fourth story. Elizabeth Olson says that she won't act in studio movies if there's no theatrical release anymore. She said, I don't want to make movies where streaming is the end all. Elizabeth Olson told me, Is it style magazine?

00:38:19

Okay, do it.

00:38:21

Is that so bad that streaming is the end all? I guess.

00:38:26

I know what you're saying. As an artist. I think as an artist, it does feel like when you do a movie that's just straight to stream release. We talk about this all the time, how things get popular on streamers. They have five minutes of relevance, and then they move on. When you work hard on a movie and a theatrical release makes it a big deal. There's a lot of press, and then there's a premiere. Streaming things just get shelved instantly. I know what she's saying. It's probably better for her career to do bigger things, but less money.

00:38:56

Yeah, but this is also what she said, because I don't even know if it's about everyone seeing it. It has to do it.

00:39:02

It was about supporting theaters.

00:39:03

And also about human connection, of course. Elizabeth Olson told InStyle- If it's not about the human connection, I don't know what she's doing. She told InStyle as part of a new cover story that she's no longer signing on to Hollywood studio movies that don't have a guarantee Sheath theatrical release. As an indie film darling, since the start of her career, she's comfortable acting in a movie without distribution that gets sold to a streamer, but her preference is always a theatrical release. She said, If a movie is made independently and only sells to a streamer, then fine. But I don't want to something where streaming is the end all. I think it's important for people to gather as a community, to see other humans be together in a space. That's why I like sports. I think it's really powerful for people to come together for something that they're excited about. We don't even audition in person anymore.

00:39:47

Elizabeth Olson. Jock?

00:39:50

Yeah.

00:39:51

I understand what she's saying that there is a lack of human connection in the world. We're all just home scrolling on our phones. Having said that, if she really cared, she should be a leader in her community or at the Girl Scouts. You're an actress. What this has to do with community, I'm not sure.

00:40:10

I feel like what she's saying is a real issue. Just even binge watching culture in general. People come home on the weekend, they sit in front of the TV and they watch something all weekend. They don't talk to another human. That's just not... They don't go outside. I feel with this, she's bitten off a little more than she could chew because I don't know how we turn. How she could fix it. But she's doing her part, which is that I'm going to act in things that will get people to the movies to how it used to be.

00:40:40

And that's beautiful. I don't care, and I want to sit at home and binge watch something on a streamer.

00:40:48

You do?

00:40:49

I do.

00:40:53

I think I'm with Elizabeth.

00:40:56

No, by the way, I get what she's saying. I guess there is an issue culture that we all just stream and watch and- Till our eyes lead. Nobody goes outside anymore. Nobody goes... I get what she's saying, sports.

00:41:10

We could learn something from sports.

00:41:13

I guess we could. I guess we could.

00:41:15

We could keep up with sports.

00:41:17

No, we actually can't because Lamar Odom never releases his podcast with Caitlin Jenner.

00:41:22

It could still be coming. Okay. We have to find out what's going on.

00:41:31

I've lost my luster for it. I can't lie. I wake up every day and do a podcast daily. Lamar Odom and Caitlin Jenner couldn't do it weekly.

00:41:40

Let me check the IG page.

00:41:42

Check it. They haven't come back. We would know if they did.

00:41:44

Even though I know if they posted anything, everyone would send it to me.

00:41:48

Of course.

00:41:49

Keeping up with...

00:41:50

They need to delete the Instagram page.

00:41:53

Here we go. Still nothing.

00:41:57

I hope you're ready for nothing. Hold on.

00:42:00

There is a third host.

00:42:02

Yes.

00:42:04

Oh, and he's a real podcaster.

00:42:06

Yes, Jackie, we've gone down this road before.

00:42:08

No, I've never seen the third host. All his stuff is with Jake Paul.

00:42:12

Yeah, he was the glue.

00:42:16

Okay. The Glue. Oh, wait, there is a clip.

00:42:22

Yes, they had a trailer, and they had recorded a first episode, and they never even released it.

00:42:29

We're being denied. We're being seriously deprived.

00:42:33

Honestly, Elizabeth Olson should be talking about this. Yeah.

00:42:37

Anyways, I'm going to- Because we would all gather and listen. I'm going to commend Elizabeth Olson because I think this is noble.

00:42:45

I completely agree. I just feel like Elizabeth Olson doesn't have real problems. This is what she's talking about. It's hard to care.

00:42:53

Yeah, but she's trying to help you.

00:42:55

But I agree. No, and Elizabeth, I implore you to keep We should all try to connect more.

00:43:02

We should.

00:43:04

But after you listen to this episode of The Toast.

00:43:09

Yeah, in a silo in your room with your ears breathing on loop. Are you ready for our fifth and final story?

00:43:16

If it's our fifth and final story that's brought to you by By Heart.

00:43:19

It is.

00:43:20

The Infant Nutrition Company, built from the ground up to deliver real innovation on behalf of babies and parents. Their mission is simple, make the best formula in the world. They use the latest in breast milk science. They've created a clinically proven easy to digest infant formula that's made with organic grass-fed whole milk, certified clean ingredients, and they feature a patented protein blend that gets the closest it possibly can to breast milk. When it comes to formula feeding your babies, I feel like everybody's downward spiral just gets even worse. That's one of the biggest pillars of, I think, a lot of new parent anxiety is if you're going to breastfeed and if you're not, which formula to choose. There are so many. You just want the one that's going to be the best.

00:43:59

Number one.

00:44:00

Number one. I feel like we're not asking for a lot here. And Byheart totally understands the spiraling and how many questions there are around feeding, and that's why they understand their role in that. They're trying to give one less ask, one less compromise to make. Their formula is super part delicious. If you want to know about the formula itself, it's made by pediatricians and parents. It's backed by groundbreaking clinical trials in breast milk science, and it's built for babies' brains, Belly's and beyond. When it comes to feeding, they're really hoping to end one big spiral. You're going to question everything except this because by heart is the formula that answers. The ingredients are, how do I say? C'est magnifique.

00:44:43

Top quality.

00:44:45

Top quality formula. If you're curious about Buyhardt, you can head to buyhardt. Com. That's B-Y-H-E-A-R-T. Use code Toast 30 to save 30% off your first subscription order for a limited time. Buyhardt is also available at Target, Walmart, and major retailers nationwide. Check them out in stores today. Additional terms and conditions apply. I'm an anxious first-time parent. I question a lot of things. I call Jackie 55 times a day. When it comes time to incorporating formula, this is actually something I'm really not worried about because I have decided to use By Heart, and I met the founder. I actually really trust them. I can't even tell you what an enormous weight that flipped it off my shoulders.

00:45:19

Yeah, I was going to say, aside from that decision, you are the textbook example of what we're talking about here, where it's questioning everything. But now you see because soon Ruby is going to start having some solids, having some textures. And you're getting into what that means. The amount of questions that you start off with is so crazy. When there are companies that you can trust, it takes Hours, days worth of work.

00:46:56

Thank you, Turdy. You're welcome. Turdin hood. Our fifth and final story is a little dancing with the stars. Recap, two couples are in the season's first tens, and one couple is out on Wicked Night. So last night, John M2 guest judged the theme.

00:47:12

He must be a really big fan of this show. I was not expecting his critique to be as... He just sounded like an experienced viewer.

00:47:19

Well, he's an experienced showman.

00:47:21

That's true, but he did say that this is his favorite show, and I actually believed him. Yeah.

00:47:25

The theme was Wicked. Everyone got their songs. We went what everyone was going to be dancing to. Let's get into the dances, shall we?

00:47:35

Yeah, it was a great night. I was just loving the showmanship, the theatrics, the music, the dances. The opening number was really fun. It was a great theme.

00:47:46

The opening number was fun. They did a medley, and so some of those songs, I really liked certain moments. I really enjoyed Derek dancing through life.

00:47:54

Me too. He's so fiero. He was jealous of Robert Irwin.

00:47:58

He's so fiero, and I'm glad that he got to have this moment. I'm also glad for us that we got to see one of the world's best dancers dancing to the best musical dance song.

00:48:07

Yeah, I think in this new era, this new generation of Dancing with the Stars, because the show has been on for 20 years, the fact that there's a judge who can and does get involved in the numbers. Same with Carlton and Julianne Hough, how they ended that number. It's actually great because it's one thing to be a judge to talk the talk, but Derek also walks the walk. It's hard to take criticism from people who aren't doing it. I know they've done it, and experts in their field. But I think Derek... The Huffs in general, get a lot of criticism. Not for me. And I hear you, they're unique. But having a judge who actually gets up and dances while also criticizing the dancers and the pros, too, I really appreciate.

00:48:44

Walks the walk and talks the talk. For that reason, Julian and Alfonso are actually great hosts because he has the experience on the star side, and she has the experience on the pro side. So it's not like someone just there telling you, You could have done better when it's like, Well, what can you do?

00:48:59

I don't know about ballroom dancing or the scene. I trust that Bruno and Carian are important figures.

00:49:05

When the show started, they were like- Bruno is an important figure.

00:49:08

They were big gets for the show. But I do feel like some of their times might be coming, and they're clearly experimenting with Kim Herjavec. I think having people who have been on the show on both sides is important.

00:49:21

Yeah. Well, our first number was Scott Hoying, dancing to The Wizard and I. He went home.

00:49:28

It was really bad. It I'm really hard on Scott, even though I do feel like he's had moments. It was obviously between him and Andy, right? Yeah. Not that I'm putting Dylan Efron in the bottom. It clearly wasn't him. It was between him and Andy, and people are like, Well, yes, objectively, if you look at both of them, Scott was better if you're comparing them to one another. There's a lot of people who are angry that Andy is still around, and Scott went home before Andy. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter because neither of them are going to win. So whoever goes home first It doesn't really make a difference. But I could see why people are like, Well, Scott can put one foot in front of the other. I'm like, Andy really can't. Why is Andy still there? It's really important to remember that Andy brings stuff to the table outside of the classic. He's a performer. He always makes me giggle during his dances. He has that Pjam charisma that... I'm sorry, it is valuable. That's why I voted for him. Did I think he had the best dance of the night?

00:50:23

No.

00:50:24

No, but I enjoy myself watching him dance. I'd rather watch him bumble around the dance floor and make me laugh than Scott's performance, which was so boring. I don't really remember. I don't want to watch boring.

00:50:37

Andy is vastly improving, which is the point of this show. I actually think Scott is getting worse. I actually thought he was going to do great last night because he said, It is his whole personality. He loves Wicked so much. He completely forgot portions of the choreography. He was stumbling all over the place. Actually, I'm sorry. He was worse than Andy. It was his time to go.

00:50:55

Yeah. You can't compare anyone to Andy. Andy's time will run out when it's time to get serious, but it's not time to get serious. There are so many people there who are not amazing and are not going to win. Why can't Andy stay? I look forward to his dances. Me too. It's not just about who's going the hardest and who's doing the best moves. He brings something else to the table. I'm so sick of people being like, Stop pity saving. It's not about pity.

00:51:20

No. I'm enjoying myself. I'm enjoying. Although I do think his time has now run out after Scott. I don't know if there's anyone else. I would have said Danielle Fishel, but she stepped her pussy all the way up last night. Who?

00:51:33

No, they say that she stepped her pussy up, but I didn't see that when I watched it.

00:51:38

Oh, wow. When I watched it. Okay, so we'll get to that. But Scott, I also think for the first time, like, Riley's choreography wasn't amazing for him. And so with the combination of him really messing up and the choreography not dazzling me, it was his time. And he got such a good song.

00:51:54

He didn't have the love of the fans. Nothing he was doing was motivating people to get there and vote for him. So when you don't have the score, it's like you're gone.

00:52:03

Also, what I noticed was I was just really enjoying the people who were dancing to songs that I knew, and he had arguably second best song, and it wasn't good enough to... I was blinded by just the good music.

00:52:14

What did you think was the best song for the challenge last night?

00:52:17

Defying Gravity. I actually think it was- Even though Alex and Val- I think it was dancing Through Life.

00:52:21

Was the best song for that, dancing with the Stars.

00:52:26

But all that to say, the more popular song, you just started with a leg up, and he He had arguably one of the most popular. He had The Wizard and I, and even that couldn't save him. So it was really his time. Andy Loakey, unless you know Wicked really well, you don't know that song, One Short Day in the Emerald Sea.

00:52:43

And he made it into one It was one of the best songs, where I was like, Oh, that's a fun one to have.

00:52:48

And let me tell you, it's really highlighting how good of a pro Emma is. She's crushing it.

00:52:52

Crushing.

00:52:53

So, Scott, I'm sorry. It was your time.

00:52:55

It was, and that felt right to me. That's how I If I could have rigged it, that's what I would have done.

00:53:03

Yeah.

00:53:04

Next, we have Alex Earle, What is this Feeling?

00:53:07

Okay, great song. Great for choreography, too.

00:53:10

The whole theme was great because all of these songs have built-in choreography.

00:53:14

Yeah, right.

00:53:15

Except for melecanamana, melecanacana, melecanama, that, of course, they gave to the postpartum.

00:53:20

Now, Alex did so good, and I'm glad somebody said it. Her choreography was not challenging. I feel like you said last week, and it's so Alex has done really good, but she needs a breakout moment. This really could have been it. She crushed it, no notes. But it wasn't hard.

00:53:39

Yeah, a lot of them got a little distracted by the set and doing a little bit of the dancing. There wasn't a lot of skill dancing. They were a lot of them just walking around with books and being like, theatery, which was enjoyable to watch. But I didn't feel like only Alex suffered from that.

00:53:56

I felt like Elaine Hendrix, the second half of her dance, she didn't even dance. It was amazing. She was my best of the night. But it's worth mentioning, half her dance was just Alan struggling with his mind, and then her up in that thing. Sorry, it was amazing, but she only did half a dance.

00:54:13

Yeah, a lot of them, even Whitney and Robert a little bit got caught up in putting up on the set and everything and not doing so much like dancing. But it was fun to watch, and not every night needs to be the nut cracker.

00:54:28

Val needs to put something together for Alex, like something big. She's getting lost in the middle a little bit.

00:54:33

She is getting lost. I forget that she's on the show except for when she's on. It's like she's not a part of it. I can't explain it.

00:54:40

Yeah, she's not blowing me away, but she's crushing.

00:54:42

Yeah. No, but it's like when I think of the show, and who's going to win, I forget that she's there. He needs to make bigger moments for her. I'm watching for her. She's the reason I watch.

00:54:53

I do blame him. I don't blame her. I think she does exactly what she's told, and she commits herself really hard to whatever he tells her to do. He needs to do something challenging. And I'm glad somebody... I forgot who it was. I think it was Carianne who just said it wasn't that difficult of a dance. Yeah. It was super cute, though.

00:55:10

It was cute. She's always cute. Yeah. Next, Robert Irwin and Whitney, Dancing Through Life. This was his best score yet.

00:55:18

It was so good.

00:55:19

Yeah.

00:55:20

You're right. That is the best song. It's a sleeper a little bit. It's the best song. And I loved when Derek did it, too. It's just a song that makes you want to dance.

00:55:28

Yeah, and it's his show about dancing. So this is the best song for this competition.

00:55:32

Yeah, they're a real force. I do feel like, though, their first dance was so amazing. I feel like they've been chasing that ever since. It was almost too good to start out.

00:55:45

Yeah, but they are hitting it. Last week was really good. This week was really good. She's just so... My belief is that it's her. That's why I don't vote for him.

00:55:57

Me neither, but I love her.

00:55:59

I love I love her, and I feel like she's really the driving force. It would be interesting to see how he did with a different partner.

00:56:08

Yeah.

00:56:09

But they're adorable, and I think they're perfectly matched because I think they really love each other and have big sister, little brother energy. Energy. Yeah. Yeah. Next. Whitney Lovet getting the first 10 of the season with Mark. These two are so crazy.

00:56:23

They're just competing against themselves. They don't even look around. She wants to win, and she knows she can, and she's taking it really seriously. They both are, and I appreciate that, but I just want her to loosen up a little bit. She seems really tense.

00:56:41

Oh, you think? She's just so wild. She just has so much energy. It's just like... But she's always been like that.

00:56:49

Their dance was amazing.

00:56:50

Oh, their dance was... There's nothing to say. The dance also was like, I loved the song. Technically. They got a good song. They did it well. They made it hard, and then she crushed it. Last week, she really did get ahead of the music. It was a mess, and the thouple.

00:57:06

Seriously, I don't think she's ever going to be okay from that. She's so hard on herself.

00:57:10

As much as Whitney could have a bad week, that, I guess, was it, because she's not a bad dancer. She's not going to have a bad week, but that was less than. This was really amazing and a joy to watch, and she deserves to win. I think people don't want her to win.

00:57:23

They're mad because she has ballroom background, dance training.

00:57:30

So many people do every single season. We're over that. We've moved on.

00:57:33

They need to either decide that they're not going to cast people like that or everybody needs to shut up. No.

00:57:37

You and I used to get really our panties in a twist about it, but you just have to- Heather Morris. You have to move on from it. Because I want people like Whitney to be able to be on the show. Even Hilaria, even Elaine, who had all that training, but has been... Her career was cut short in dance. I think it's still okay because you need to crush every week. You need to be creative. You need to be beloved. It's not just about technicality.

00:57:58

No, it's a 360 You need to do the social media. You really have to do all of it. Yeah.

00:58:03

Next, Dylan and Daniella, I'm not that girl.

00:58:07

What a weird song for him. It was funny when they were like, After the break, Dylan and Daniella will be dancing, too. I'm not that girl. You know how they wave to the camera. Daniella was pointing to him, He's not that girl. It was just a weird song.

00:58:20

It was weird, but they pulled it off. You're telling me she's married to Pasha.

00:58:25

They're fucking... No, she's not married to Pasha. Is she married to Pasha? Did I say that? Yeah.

00:58:32

She's married to Pasha.

00:58:33

They be fucking. I'm sorry.

00:58:36

They're fucking. I've never even seen Daniella and Pasha together. I couldn't even imagine it. I know people love these two. I have no issue with them.

00:58:47

They're really good, but I don't... Yeah, they're not moving me.

00:58:49

I have no beef, but they just don't do it for me personally.

00:58:52

I do think... It's hard to... What was I going to I don't know. It's not... They're going to make it. I think his biggest competitor is Robert Irwin. They both have the same vibe. Leading man. I don't know. I just don't love him, but I don't get it.

00:59:19

It's okay. We don't have to get everyone and love everyone. Again, no beef. I enjoy them. They seem like they're having a good time.

00:59:27

Yeah, they're fucking.

00:59:28

They make people happy. They make each other happy. I just like it doesn't... While they're fucking. It just doesn't do it for me, if that's okay with the class. Same. Next, we have Andy Richter and Emma Slater, One Short Day.

00:59:40

It was adorable. They used all elements. Obviously, his dance technicality is not the best. They used the extras and the costume and the song, and they just... It was a show. I enjoyed it so much. Jackie makes such a good point. It's like, well, yes, we could, you know, criticize everybody for their footwork or whatever. It's also about enjoyment and entertainment, and that's really what Andy provides. I was giggling to myself. He's so cute. He's having so much fun. Just let him have fun. It's not pity. It's just somebody who was so clearly going to be one of the first ones out is taking this so seriously and is challenging himself and getting better. It's just a joy to watch.

01:00:14

It is. It is. One day, there will be just the best people left, and Andy's will start to be a drag. Okay, this again. That's when it's his time to go. But I don't feel that at all right now, and it's not his time to go. I could go for another week. If one of bottom couples, so I would say Danielle and- Or Jen. I hate to say it, Jen. If they flop next week, Andy could have another chance. It's true.

01:00:40

He max has one week left.

01:00:43

Yeah, but you would have thought I'm sad about this week.

01:00:46

But it goes to show that I think they really consider the fan votes. It means.

01:00:51

I actually believe that this show is not rigged.

01:00:55

Me too.

01:00:56

Maybe the winner ultimately is rigged just based on ABC's priorities. But I feel like with the fan votes, I feel like they just let it fall where it is.

01:01:09

I think so, too. I think it calculates a lot.

01:01:12

Yeah. Someone else who could go home before Andy if she fucked up, Elaine. But she did not fuck up last night.

01:01:22

No, I had chills. Before, the Defined Gravity thing, everybody was gagged over. I actually thought before. I was mad. When she dropped. She was insane. I love what she gets up to Julian and Julian asks her questions, and it happens every time. She's just so excited that she accomplished this thing, and she gives a little inspiration. I am proof that your dreams are never too late. She always says something so sweet. She's like, I can't believe I just did that. I love her. She's really good. The fact that she's 54, I'll never get over. I was almost annoyed that she did that stunt because I thought maybe the judges would say that took away because half the dance, she She was not dancing. She was getting strapped into that thing and then was just holding the broom. Then Allen was doing his little moment. Because before that, she was unbelievable. It was amazing.

01:02:11

Yeah. No, I don't think the judges were going to be like, That was too much. I think that in partnership with Wicked, they needed these moments, and they were not going to be like, You spent too much time doing that. It's like, Wait, we did it for your sponsorship.

01:02:23

Promo, yeah.

01:02:25

She was really good. But I do feel like she gets good scores. If she got a bad score. I don't know if she has as much fan support as you and I feel towards her.

01:02:35

No, that's fair.

01:02:37

Next, Jen and Yon. She got her best score yet, dancing to as long as you're mine.

01:02:43

But why were they still being... They're so unnecessarily hard on her. Outside of her being postpartum, they're not taking into account any of that. I feel like every time she gets criticism, they're so unnecessarily hard on her. Oh, by the way, you could tell Alex Earle fucking hates Carianne because Carianne was giving her a little criticism with a jab, and Alex was just not even listening to her. She hates her, and I feel that. The way that they give Andy a little bit of grace She had a special... Yeah. Where there's none of that for Jen, in addition to them just being really hard on her. I thought last night's Dance, I didn't see anything wrong with it. She had a bad song.

01:03:22

She got a bad song. She did a good job. I didn't see any... That's how I feel every single week.

01:03:27

And then her score- The choreography was very good.

01:03:29

Her score is like 32 out of 40, whereas someone else could have been 35 or 36. It's not going to be number one, okay? So just let her be whatever.

01:03:37

I have no idea why- She's being judged.

01:03:40

She's the only one who's actually being judged based on- So harshly. Yeah.

01:03:46

Because to me, I thought her dance was on par with Alex Earls.

01:03:50

Yeah, and she did it. She did it well.

01:03:52

Yeah. I don't know. It's pissing me off.

01:03:56

It's pissing me off, too.

01:03:58

I just want to give her a hug.

01:04:00

Waiting for it to change. Yeah. So Danielle had her breakthrough moment. They say she danced to No Good Deed and Embraced Her Dark and Moody Side with a 36 out of 40.

01:04:10

Yeah. I actually appreciated the criticism last week of... It feels like she does the same thing every week. I don't even remember her dances individually. It's just like,. And so them doing a total opposite dark. I appreciate it. You know what? They were right. It did make her stand out. She did a very good job.

01:04:27

I guess they're right that it was... I don't know. I was just watching I'm like, Oh, I didn't think it was amazing.

01:04:32

I loved her at the top, like a slick back bud.

01:04:35

She looked great. Yeah, me too. But I was just like, How did she get a 36 and Jen got a 32? I don't know. That to me is just not... They were the same to me. Agreed. I'm just strong. Didn't blow me away, but did what they were supposed to do.

01:04:48

Agreed.

01:04:50

Next. Jordan Childs nabbing her first 10. You guys, Jordan Childs is not messing around.

01:04:55

What song did she do?

01:04:57

She did For Good. It was actually really good.

01:05:00

Yes, that's a great song.

01:05:02

And he did a good job choreographing it and the set and everything and the way to close out the night.

01:05:07

I feel like she's a dream star to get if you're a pro, right? She's not necessarily a dancer, but all the things that are involved, the lifts. I think a lot of people struggle, especially in the beginning, with the physicality of having to work out so hard. They're so sore the first couple of weeks. With Jordan, this is nothing.

01:05:27

Yeah. No, but she's just become a beautiful dancer, and she got 10s just like Whitney did. They're one and two at this point.

01:05:38

Yeah. So Jordan and Whitney.

01:05:40

Robert.

01:05:43

Yeah. Do you think they put two guys in and Dylan?

01:05:46

Why not?

01:05:47

I don't know, because they're literally the same.

01:05:50

Yeah. I feel like two guys and two girls, that would be ideal for them.

01:05:53

That means no Alex in the top four. Right now, I just don't feel like Val is choreographing her for the top four.

01:05:59

Alex versus Dylan. That's the fourth spot.

01:06:02

We're not forgetting anyone, are we?

01:06:06

Elaine, but- No.

01:06:08

Yeah. Because as it gets closer, you're real fans, it starts to matter. I don't think Elaine has a huge following.

01:06:16

Yeah. It's like all of them are operating at 10s, like true 10s, real 10s.

01:06:21

Elaine, Chesie being there every week is so sweet.

01:06:25

Yeah. No, I'm obsessed with them.

01:06:26

I'm obsessed. It was a great casting.

01:06:29

I I do like how it's going to be final four and then just the winner because I want to see Elaine and Andy- Make it to the finale. Be there for most of the show. But then we'll have one or two episodes where it's serious business.
