Welcome back to The Toast and happy Friday! Hope everybody's having an amazing kickoff to the weekend, period. Kickoff, kickoff, kick it off, girl! Got to kick it up.

00:01:04

It's summer kickoff, it's the weekend kickoff with The Toast.

00:01:07

It's the summer kickoff even though summer's in full swing.

00:01:10

I know, but it always feels like summer's just about to get, get started.

00:01:13

Summer, summer, summer.

00:01:16

Yes, it's Friday, it's very exciting.

00:01:18

Huge news for the community.

00:01:20

Yeah, and it feels like Friday cuz Miss Margo came to the house and she's our weekend warrior.

00:01:24

She's our weekend ward.

00:01:25

So what— and that too, but you know they call them weekend warriors, like the, the young professionals, slickers, who like live for the weekend, are always like traveling and stuff.

00:01:34

So Margot—

00:01:35

so she's a weekend warrior. And that's how you know it's the weekend, when Margot has landed.

00:01:40

Well, the eagle has landed. The statue has landed.

00:01:42

We haven't seen her, but—

00:01:43

no, but she's allegedly in the house. I haven't seen her though.

00:01:46

We heard her stomping around last night.

00:01:48

We did. She actually woke me up with those big feet stomping around with those big Babe, um, but yeah, legend says she's somewhere in the house.

00:01:55

I didn't see her car actually. I didn't look for it though, not that the driveway is so huge, but, but I didn't see it either.

00:02:03

The ghost of Sachi's past. Maybe she caught a ride.

00:02:05

Maybe she left early this morning and like went somewhere. No, I didn't see it.

00:02:12

Sachi Liu, where are you?

00:02:13

Where are you?

00:02:15

It's a good point. I really did not see her car.

00:02:16

No, me neither. It was actually like nice. I was able to like breeze out of the driveway, no one, unencumbered, no obstacles, unencumbered.

00:02:23

You're so unencumbered.

00:02:24

By the family vehicles.

00:02:25

Yeah. Um, we have a lot to discuss because obviously things are happening.

00:02:30

Things are developing.

00:02:32

As the leading source on Nicolandra Incorporated: The Most Fraudulent Scandal of the 21st Century, um, things are happening. Alondra's, you know, fighting back.

00:02:43

Yeah, fighting back against what?

00:02:45

I'm not sure.

00:02:46

I'm not sure.

00:02:47

Punching the air, as the kids say.

00:02:49

Of course, that's our lead story, and I don't want to— I don't want to dive right in because I don't want to like give air to the allegations that we're our personal lives.

00:02:57

Of course, of course. Sorry, I didn't mean to skip ahead and dive into the allegations.

00:03:01

People love the PFFB. So like, much like you won't let Queenie and Weenie die, I won't let the PFFB— that's my favorite part of the show.

00:03:09

Only thing is that like, you like are actively trying to get Queenie and Weenie to die. I'm not trying to get PFFB to die.

00:03:15

No, I feel like you do it subtly.

00:03:18

No, I just like—

00:03:19

you're subtle in your—

00:03:20

one thing about me, um It's like I get the bills paid here, like I do the advertisements.

00:03:24

So I'm just eager to—

00:03:26

I'm not eager, I'm just like always keeping top of mind for like the flow of the show. We can't let too much time go by, we can't let too much little go by. Like, sorry, I'm keeping us on track in that sense.

00:03:36

I understand, but like the PFFB is why they come. Of course.

00:03:39

No, and the PFFB will never suffer.

00:03:41

No, no, never. However, yesterday we did vlog pretty much the whole day.

00:03:45

We did. We're such vloggers.

00:03:46

Like, I'm about to get like I don't want to give away too much of the vlog, but like, it's giving like Vlogmas up in here. We are at a vlog a day because we did one on Wednesday, we did one yesterday, and we actually are filming something today. It's a vlog, but it's different.

00:04:01

The Hamptons are ripe for vlogs. Like, there are so many like viral establishments. It's so party. You could go like the Ina route, you could go like the Surf Lodge route, like go rage. We're obviously not doing that, but like, we're actually filming a documentary tonight.

00:04:14

That's like the format of the vlog.

00:04:17

Let's— yeah, we want to spoil it, but like big things coming to Patreon.

00:04:20

Yeah, including the vlog we filmed yesterday. So I don't want to give away too much of what we did yesterday because it's in the vlog, right?

00:04:27

So we won't PFFB too hard.

00:04:29

We won't. However, since I wrapped the vlog, here's what's happened to me. I've thrown my back out. What? I didn't know that. I know, I'm like fighting it. It's like if I make one wrong move, it's gonna rip.

00:04:39

You're on the edge.

00:04:40

When I was driving today, I actually like wanted to self-drive because I was like, this too hard.

00:04:45

Did you put your heating pad on?

00:04:46

I did. And that really helped. Um, but it was, it was the co-sleeping that did me in. I must have hit a weird position. Yeah. There was a lot of co-sleeping going on last night.

00:04:54

That'll do it.

00:04:55

And a lot of, with a lot of like different children in different, right, like ways. And it got me. And so I think I might have to take a back seat tonight.

00:05:05

Wow.

00:05:06

You know, might stay behind the camera for the documentary.

00:05:09

Oh, I think in, in your bed, you might have to take a back seat to the co-sleeping.

00:05:12

No. And I also finally was able to resume off campus. I've crossed the hurdle.

00:05:18

The personal, yeah, um, boundary that was crossed. Yes.

00:05:20

And you know what? It was hard. It was just such a shame it was that scene that came next.

00:05:24

Of course. If it was any other scene.

00:05:26

And just seeing it through the landlord's eyes.

00:05:28

Mm-hmm.

00:05:29

But once I got past that, I was able to resume festivities. Um, and it's actually crazy because now I'm at the part where they're about to go home for Thanksgiving.

00:05:38

Oh yeah.

00:05:38

So what's weird to me, it seems early in the show, but they're like very much a couple. It felt like what would happen at the end. Now I know there are still a few things that have to happen.

00:05:46

Of course.

00:05:46

Like the the, um, the scholarship.

00:05:50

Oh, but of course, the performance. Yes, the showcase.

00:05:53

Excuse me, the showcase.

00:05:54

There's always a showcase.

00:05:55

And then like, you know, Logan's in the background like pining for her.

00:05:59

So I will say there are like a couple of storylines that just like straight up die, and Logan pining for her is one of them.

00:06:04

Is there a lot more of show left? Like, and also what's so crazy is they showed their romance. So the episode ends with that loudspeaker scene, which I loved. I love when she got on loudspeaker.

00:06:12

Oh, what did she say in the loudspeaker when she was singing to him?

00:06:15

And the—

00:06:17

yeah, now that— and she actually— you'll love this. They just released— people have been begging. So many of the songs that she sings, like Cherry Pie, go viral. Um, she just released a version of that song with Niall Horan, who I guess is like a fan of the show.

00:06:28

Love that. Yeah, so that was so great. I love the loudspeaker. I'm like, I'm back.

00:06:32

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:06:33

And then the next episode, they have this whole montage of them screwing, screwing. Um, and then like the— and then the opening credits. And like, that's their whole relationship. It literally happens before the opening credits. And now it's like Thanksgiving and we're back to— I don't know what's gonna happen, but like, I hate when they fast forward through the good stuff.

00:06:50

Yeah, the book, it's pretty true to the book, um, because I recently remembered I actually did read it. And it's— there's a lot of, you know, personal development, personal storylines like that are going to happen. Thanksgiving is a big part of it, and like that sort of like brings them together. And then what eventually like—

00:07:05

wait, hey, yeah, hey ho, you—

00:07:07

and there's just a lot.

00:07:09

Like, there's a lot more.

00:07:10

Like, the best is yet to come.

00:07:11

I feel like I'm not even halfway through, and like, and then in relationship, and like the deal worked. I kind of like want to stop watching now because I like how it's— how it's ended.

00:07:19

No, they have to grow. Like, they have growing pains. You'll see, you'll see, it's great.

00:07:23

Okay, but I'm like, if I never picked it back up and like we called it here, I really enjoyed this show. They're very cute couples.

00:07:29

You don't have to throw like a hurdle in.

00:07:31

I was so glad that she didn't waste too much time on Justin. I was so glad that we didn't waste so much time on like a miscommunication where it's like he thinks she doesn't like her so he goes back.

00:07:42

He like lets her go for himself.

00:07:43

Or he goes back to the other girl and just as she's about to tell him, oh, I like you, he sees her with the other. I hate. So like the fact that Everyone put on their big kid pants and told each other how they felt, and there's no miscommunication was major.

00:07:57

Just a little behind the scenes, Justin is dating in real life the roommate.

00:08:02

I see that. Yeah. Um, and then I honestly knew you were about to say the roommate is the subject for season 2.

00:08:08

Uh-huh. Is she— have you gotten to her storyline yet? A little bit.

00:08:10

A little bit. She's like breaking up with the guy she just snuck into a Jeep before Thanksgiving. She reminds me so much of a mixture of what's her name from Victorious's sister?

00:08:24

Trina Vega.

00:08:25

Trina Vega.

00:08:26

Who, by the way, you're gonna freak, you know she's a huge toaster, Daniella Monet.

00:08:29

Okay, she reminds me—

00:08:30

She just went on Good Guys and she was talking about how like Swirly, Pargi, she's like the biggest toaster.

00:08:34

She reminds me of Trina Vega plus Jennette McCurdy.

00:08:38

She definitely reminds me of someone, I don't know if you've nailed it like in my mind, but she, I thought you reminded me of someone in our own life.

00:08:45

With a little bit of Jen Affleck.

00:08:49

Jen Affleck is a good call.

00:08:50

Sprinkled on top. Okay, I'm not like loving the call, but she has like the, the manic energy of Jennette. Yeah, with the look of Trina and Jen. I'm telling you.

00:09:02

Um, well, you should definitely keep going because it's good, and if like you, if you like it now, like it only gets better.

00:09:06

Okay, cool, cool, cool.

00:09:07

I know you just like watch it in secret and in solitude, so like take your time.

00:09:10

Why it's actually un— like not cool that the two of them are like making Justin like still work on the song And have you like gotten to the song yet? Like, no, I haven't heard it, but it's like he did her a favor and now like Garrett comes to all the rehearsals to what, rub it in his face? Like, they literally like honeypotted him. Yeah, no, they like trapped him. They like made her—

00:09:32

she's so true—

00:09:32

they made her his dream girl. Yeah, then she denied him and now they're gonna rub it in his face. And he's helping her and wait, get a huge scholarship.

00:09:39

I want to spoil it.

00:09:40

That should be his money too.

00:09:41

I don't want to spoil it. Half work, but like they make up a song together and then she like ends up throwing it away. Like she doesn't use it, so he does all this work for nothing.

00:09:49

Okay, so it's even worse, but it's like he's— he has no reason to help her. It's not even like he's getting credit or anything. They should have—

00:09:55

like, he was just like, you know, he's like a musician. No, but there's a lot of the music.

00:09:59

No, no, but there's a lot of rehearsals. Like, this is a part-time job.

00:10:02

Yellow, yellow haze.

00:10:04

I think I have such a bad song, but it's like every day he's spending so much time working with this girl. He's not getting—

00:10:10

his classes are suffering, his social life is suffering, and they're just like—

00:10:13

no, it's true— rubbing salt in the wound.

00:10:15

It's actually true.

00:10:16

So I feel bad for him, even though I, I don't like him. And I like Garrett Graham.

00:10:23

Of course, what's not to like?

00:10:24

He reminds me of Miles Teller because he has that really charming smile.

00:10:29

Like, that's what it is.

00:10:30

Yeah, I feel like he's like this generation's Miles Teller of like—

00:10:34

wow—

00:10:34

of good-looking, like, leading man.

00:10:36

Um, you know, he was like the face of Reebok, which our sister Margot like had the foresight when the show was blowing up, she like nailed him down. And now I just saw he was the face of like a Was it Garnier or like one of those big shampoo? Because he has like curly hair, so he had like a curl routine. He was obviously like naked the entire commercial, but it was a good commercial.

00:10:53

And then also I had a flashback to that Kid Laroi dancing. And have I seen that yet in the show? Because he danced a little bit for on Drunk Shakespeare.

00:11:02

And oh, you mean the dance move? Yeah, I don't know when he does it.

00:11:05

Okay, because he danced to a Kid Laroi song at Drunk Shakespeare. Yes.

00:11:08

So the song is like attached to him and his character.

00:11:11

So I was like, is this the big moment? But it was not. It was giving nothing. There was nothing.

00:11:15

I don't remember. The Drunk Shakespeare scene was one of my one of my favorites in the entire show. Okay, just like fun fact. So I kind of blocked that out.

00:11:22

Yeah, it's obviously like not my—

00:11:23

I'm so glad you're watching it. I'm so glad you're liking it.

00:11:25

Yeah, yeah, I am.

00:11:27

Um, obviously you're watching Mad Men. Like, I know nobody cares about my decades-long recap. Let me just say that Peggy— I forgot like the big thing, I don't want to spoil it, but that she like—

00:11:35

yes, yes.

00:11:36

Um, and she's a real piece of shit. Like, I just— I can't stand her. That's it.

00:11:41

Yeah, that's, that's true no matter when you watch it.

00:11:44

It's true. I remember when I watched it the first time, I also walked away with that feeling.

00:11:48

Yes, of course.

00:11:50

Oh, um, okay, wait, you haven't gone to Thanksgiving yet, so just keep us posted.

00:11:54

It's about to be Thanksgiving, and I'm going to support him.

00:11:57

In the book, like, and they, they actually replicated it quite well. It's such an important scene, like what goes down at Phil's house.

00:12:04

Okay, well, my back is out, so I might have to watch TV in bed today.

00:12:07

Yeah. Um, what else? Like, I'm again afraid of jacquise, so—

00:12:14

Oh, well, I feel like I shared like what happened to me between 9 and 9. Between 9 and 1, Margo woke you up.

00:12:19

Oh, Margo woke me up with her big feet. And Ben— oh right, Ben, Ben, Ben got home super late last night because he was in the city all day, like recording podcasts, hanging out with Craig. So you want to hear the most classic Ben thing ever? He was like hocking me all day. He's like, you know, we're recording Good Guys. He went into the city for like a bunch of stuff and he banged out a couple of episodes with guests. Craig went on. Ben said it's like a historic episode with Craig, really, because I guess like Craig and Ben really haven't discussed the fact that Craig and Kyle reunited, like, right, right, right. And like, boys like don't really care, but like Ben was like, I guess we should talk about it. And they had like really beautiful, open and honest conversation. It's all on the podcast. Ben says it's like actually going to blow the Bravo universe up.

00:12:57

Like, oh, I'm sure that it will. I wonder what was said. I'll find out.

00:13:00

So he had like 3 or 4 interviews booked and they didn't have a guest for like the last one. And I was like, call Taylor Strecker, like she's always available and her show's coming out this week, The House of Stassi. It's like a perfect time to have her on. She wasn't available. Ben was like, whatever, I'll just— I'll figure it out. And like, of course, like that's not how things work. Like you have to book people. Of course Taylor Strecker can't come. He's walking into the studio. Who does he run into?

00:13:23

Jared Freed.

00:13:24

Who has a couple of hours to kill? Jared Freed. Who went on Good Guys? Jared Freed. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, like, that's so Ben, like, things just working out.

00:13:33

Has he been on Good Guys yet?

00:13:35

I think so, maybe once.

00:13:37

On the geej.

00:13:38

On the geej. Um, so then Ben was also in town for the Bon Jovi concert. Yeah. And let me tell you, Ben went with Craig, obviously. And he had such a good time. He was like, Ben is such a grandpa, like FaceTiming me from concerts. Like, I'm good, you know?

00:13:50

How's Craig? Did he say anything? Like, is he filming? Ben, like, doesn't ask the questions because, like, right, it's July, they should be filming Southern Charm.

00:13:58

I'm sure that they are.

00:13:59

And, like, is he seeing anyone?

00:14:01

I don't know. Like, Ben doesn't know what to ask, and I didn't send him in with, like, a list of questions.

00:14:06

And I think that's probably why people like him. Yeah.

00:14:08

And that's why, like, they continue to hang out with him, not me, like, with my list.

00:14:10

Yeah, yeah.

00:14:11

And, like, going to the bathroom to text my sister what everyone said. Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi. Ben calls me like once. Margo woke me up. I was, I was like up, and Ben's like, I'm on my way home. I'm like, oh my God, what happened to the concert? He said Bon Jovi like had to cancel the concert after it had already started. So he, I think he was on stage for like an hour and a half. Ben said he literally played all the hits, but he said, listen, I can't go on. He has like this vocal cord injury. He is refunding everyone, or like you get new tickets, even though like they literally saw almost the whole show. Ben was like, I saw every song I wanted. They did Living on a Prayer, like, yeah. Um, so Ben will probably have to go back to the city for like the rescheduled show.

00:14:49

Oh really?

00:14:49

Yeah, I don't know, he saw the whole thing.

00:14:51

He said like he got, you know, and then he also got to get home at a sort of reasonable hour.

00:14:55

You know who he brought out, special guest, so random?

00:14:57

Jared Freed.

00:14:58

Close. The lead singer of Train.

00:15:01

Oh, he's having like a good month.

00:15:02

He is, because he's invited to Taylor's wedding.

00:15:04

Yeah.

00:15:04

And now Bon Jovi brought him on stage at MSG.

00:15:06

Yeah.

00:15:07

So Ben had a blast. Um, so then at that point when Margo— like my 9 to 9, it's like Margo woke me up, so I was like, you know, might as well wait up Ben was gonna be home in like an hour, so I waited up like such a good wife, and then we fell asleep together.

00:15:17

Beautiful. Yeah, really beautiful. Okay, I think with that we can get into— yeah, the fast—

00:15:23

I got bored by my own PFFB, you know.

00:15:25

The fast— I don't know. Well, it's all in the vlog.

00:15:28

Yeah, right, honey, put it in the vlog.

00:15:31

It's time for the Fast Five Stories that you do need to know.

00:15:34

And the Fast Five Stories that you do need to know are brought to you by Amazon Music.

00:15:37

Claudia, I was looking at my phone this morning and realized my home screen is actually embarrassing. I have a different app for everything I'm listening to— music and one place, podcast in another, audiobook somewhere else. It's just too much.

00:15:49

I get it. As a sweeper, that can be obviously very frustrating. You don't have to live like that, Jackie. If you are constantly bouncing between apps just to find something to listen to, there's a better way.

00:15:57

Amazon Music.

00:15:58

I've been using Amazon Music Unlimited because it has my pocket— my podcasts and my music and now audiobooks all in one app. It makes things so much easier. Oh, and speaking of audiobooks, I actually just started Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.

00:16:09

Stop, it's so good. I literally just finished it, and there were multiple times where I'd get home and just sit in my driveway or maybe take one extra lap around the block Cuz I cannot stop in the middle of a chapter. The narration is incredible, and you know how picky I am with audiobooks, Turdy. Yes, exactly. It is absolutely toe certified.

00:16:24

No, I'm sold. And that's exactly the type of audiobook that makes doing errands or just like menial things feel really exciting. So whether you're listening to your favorite playlist, catching up on podcasts, or like Jackie, completely, completely disappearing into an audiobook, having everything in one place just makes life easier.

00:16:37

Amazon Music. Music, podcasts, and audiobooks all in one app. Download today to start listening.

The ingredients are very simple.

00:18:41

It's non-carbonated but super crisp. It's refreshing like a traditional iced tea, but with a little bit more authentic flavor from that fruit. It comes in a bunch of different flavors. I personally would recommend the raspberry tea or the lemon tea. Tea is very personal, so obviously like do what makes you happy. But Spindrift is just such a great beverage brand. I love that they're moving into teas, and the ingredients are pargi. They're so delicious. And like summertime calls for a tea, you know?

00:19:03

Mm-hmm. Summertime and the living's easy.

00:19:07

That's really beautiful. This is their take on iced tea. It's crisp, it's juicy, and it's delicious. So you're just getting targeted, results-driven services built around reaching your specific skin goals. Because I think a lot of times when we go for these services, like, it's a lot of stir and drain, it's a lot of performing, and it's just like time that you don't have.

00:20:03

And for a lot of us, like, yes, it would be nice to lay around all day, but we're working, we're busy, we're moms. Like, yes, I still need my lashes and a facial. So going to one place, getting it all done in a really time-effective and affordable way is super smart. It's built for busy mamas, working women, and everyone in between. They're open evenings and weekends, so it really fits into your real life. They offer an open concept setup, so you can bring your girlfriends, sister, mom, partner. If you're looking to go alone, just take a minute for yourself, you can also do that. But you can bang out a couple of beauty appointments while also hanging out with your best friend. Two birds— well, like, four birds, one stone. They even have memberships, so facials can actually be a monthly thing. You get your choice of a focus facial, an enhancement, and 10% off an additional service and product every month. Month. So Toast listeners are getting 20% off their first service when they go to facefoundry.com. That's F-A-C-E-F-O-U-N-D-R-I-E.com. Our code is Toast at checkout. Use that and listeners will get 20% off their first service, but only when they visit facefoundry.com and use code Toast, T-O-A-S-T, at checkout.

00:20:59

Thank you, turd out.

00:21:01

You're welcome.

00:21:01

Our first story: Alandria is breaking her silence amid the reported Nick-Alandria split after DuMois circulated new dating rumors. So yesterday we shared that DuMois shared some anonymous tip that Alandria was hooking up with Travis, was hooking up with Travis Scott. Um, the DM actually said, uh, that it's been for a few months. Yes, but it said something like, now that the PR relationship is over, she's been— she's—

00:21:30

it was a shady submission.

00:21:32

She's been with Travis Scott. Alandria commented and said, I hope you have your lawyers ready because I have mine. Now if you go to look for the comment, it's not there because Alandria blocked Dumas. Dumas then commented again and said, updated, It appears as though Alondra has blocked me, that's why her comment's missing, but I didn't delete it.

00:21:48

It was there at one point.

00:21:49

And she's hoping that she has her lawyers ready.

00:21:53

Dumas sort of ate her up in the response because Dumas was like, yeah, I just DM'd you their letter. Like, I guess she did get a letter from Alondra. I just wanna say, Alondra is so famous and like, this is really not famous person behavior. Dumas like, and the submissions are so harmless. I think maybe at one point they were like this Bible that people but like, it's just not as powerful as it once was. And now it's sort of like a, uh, after the fact, people are like, yeah, I got a submission from Duanne. It's like, well, you didn't tell us this before.

00:22:20

Like, and also it's like, as a famous person, there are worse things to happen than a rumor that you're dating one of the most famous rappers in the world. Absolutely.

00:22:29

I feel like this is actually a bad look for Alandria. I agree, because letting people think it's true, like, that's great for you. And if it's not true, which like it probably isn't, like, who cares?

00:22:39

And it's not like ground—

00:22:40

and it's distracting people from talking about Nick, which like, if we're— let's— we're gonna dive in, we're gonna get to the fraud, you know?

00:22:46

Yeah, but also it's not grounds for a lawsuit to say that like you're seeing someone that you're not seeing, is it?

00:22:51

No, no, like factually she is wrong, but also she just like looks petty, like, and she looks humorless, like seriously the most— like, no, not humorless because it's not a joke, she just looks like she's not acting her fame, like, yeah, I guess, I don't know, but it's just like like so serious. Like, it is—

00:23:10

it's not that serious.

00:23:11

And she hasn't spoken out at all about the relationship and like, this is what you choose to engage with.

00:23:17

Yeah, I feel like maybe she was mad not even about the Travis Scott thing, but that the submission said now that the PR relationship is over, because that could— it's also, you know, could be defined.

00:23:26

I could take you to court because I have proof. Like, it's PR.

00:23:30

Yeah, yeah. And then, I mean, that's just like so crazy to threaten lawyers over like a really innocuous rumor like this.

00:23:39

Yeah, and like Dumas sort of now standing 10 toes down. So when I was thinking about like Queenie and Weenie, I honestly feel that like Dumas is both my Queenie and my Weenie this week because it was really lame of her to post the submissions like after the fact. That's like the opposite of what she's supposed to do. She's supposed to be this like— what do you need to be anonymous for? Like, if you're just not doing anything even remotely controversial. But she's kind of— you should see her fighting with the Nicki Landria fans in the comments. Like, she's kind of eating them up, and it's Queenie behavior after— I'm sorry, she did act like some of us have been microlandria fans for a year before it was popular.

00:24:09

For a year. Yeah, like, and it's just crazy that now everyone sort of sees what we see. Yeah, and acts like they saw it all along.

00:24:17

Oh, it's true. If you weren't there, like, where were you? Where— you were not—

00:24:20

we were alone.

00:24:21

You were not there.

00:24:22

We were alone. And like, it's fine that you want to be microlandria and like have a fake PR relationship and like ride the coattails of this immensely successful show. And like, it was the fans' idea to put them together, so like, we're just giving the people what they want.

00:24:33

They're staying together for the fans. Yeah.

00:24:34

Yeah, that's fine.

00:24:36

Yeah, but don't spit in my face and tell me it's raining. Like, it's over now. Like, let's just call it what it was.

00:24:42

Yes, completely.

00:24:44

So I just feel like this whole time when we've talked about Nick and Alandra, we've talked about how like Nick brings Alandra down. Like, we watch that season, Alandra was a queen and she remained a queen long after the season. And we knew that this was a fake relationship and we knew it was going to end. I don't know, I never thought that like it would end and end up being like bad for Nicole— for, excuse me, for Alandria herself. Because to me she's like untouchable and he's just there.

00:25:06

No, when it ended, it would be good for Alandria. This is the thing holding her back. But for— but now it's the audit, you know?

00:25:12

Yeah. And it's like, as an— as an Alandria fan, like historically myself, I'm kind of like looking at her a little sideways.

00:25:18

Like, yeah.

00:25:19

And then this is just kind of messy.

00:25:21

Yeah. Yeah.

00:25:23

Like engaging with Dumas is like a hard no.

00:25:25

I feel like any celebrity who's ever sort of like But also, if you want to clap back about a dating rumor about yourself that's not true, say it's like completely not true, that she's never even met Travis Scott, there are like funny, better ways to do it that are not like, I'm gonna sue you.

00:25:38

No, it's so lame.

00:25:39

That's what I mean when she's humorless. Like, she could have responded and been like, this is news to me, right?

00:25:43

@TravisScott, call me. Yeah, you could have like played and like been fun, but no, now you just look like, like a sore whatever. Yeah, yeah, it's a bad look. And also, like, let's say it's not true. I'd be more than happy to let people think that. Like, yeah, that's a good thing for people. And if it is true, like, you can't threaten a lawsuit because it's true.

00:26:03

It wouldn't be your first fake relationship.

00:26:06

It would not be her first fake relationship.

00:26:09

Very true.

00:26:11

This, like, remains my personal Roman Empire. And, like, when we think about, like, there have been certain moments—

00:26:17

I think it's hurting my back.

00:26:19

So, like, sorry, I'll call But it's so—

00:26:21

yeah, yeah, no, continue, continue.

00:26:23

I just think that like when people talk about huge moments in pop culture, like especially for the shows, like we always see like Scandal, Westworld, Taylor Frankie Paul, like the— these huge peaks, like these are career-making moments for us. Nobody's gonna look back and think of Nickelodeon, but like I will.

00:26:36

Yeah, and like in 5 years when we do like a Patreon going through old titles and everything's like Nickelodeon this, Nickelodeon that, like we would otherwise have forgotten them.

00:26:46

No, and somebody left a comment on Instagram yesterday.

00:26:50

Note on the anal of pop culture, but not, not on mine.

00:26:53

They are the headline.

00:26:54

They are a chapter.

00:26:55

Yes. Somebody left a comment being like, you guys are always putting Nickelodeon in your titles, like you're fans for real.

00:27:00

Yes, yes, that's what we've been saying.

00:27:03

That's what— like, no one's listening to us. So frustrating.

00:27:08

We're fans of what Nickelodeon actually is, not what—

00:27:11

which is a business.

00:27:13

Yeah. Yeah, we're business women ourselves.

00:27:15

Oh, I respect a business. Yeah, that's why I'm drinking Lunen.

00:27:19

I know, it looks like we're either subliminally—

00:27:23

we have no affiliation with this brand. And I just want to say this water is extremely mid. It's genuinely water. I like the sparkling.

00:27:29

I just want to say yesterday I had mine, I felt very compelled to finish it, which I did.

00:27:34

I'm like, I'm never going to finish this, by the way.

00:27:35

Cardboard.

00:27:37

I know, you cardboard. I got a bagel this morning.

00:27:40

Okay.

00:27:40

Hey, like everything in the Hamptons is obviously like so expensive. So color me shocked, I got this big-ass Lunen water. Oh, I have it right here because I— a little orange juice to go with my bagel and a bagel. What do you think that would cost in regular—

00:27:53

like in— what do I think you paid? Yeah, like $17.

00:27:59

$14. I thought that was a pretty good price.

00:28:01

Yeah, I don't even like—

00:28:03

I mean, these waters, I feel like, are $20.

00:28:05

So crazy. I don't even know, like when, when you come home and say like my blowout was $85, I'm like I'm like, is that good or bad?

00:28:10

Yeah, that's like when I went to St. Bart's. Like, money is just different. And it's like things that— like a roast chicken at a restaurant, like even at a really nice, it's like $40, usually between $25 and $40. Like, it's $70. Like, it's just like things are different. Yeah, that's where we are right now.

00:28:25

So $14, that's good. Even though someone is probably watching being like, you got 2 drinks and a bagel, and a bagel is $1. Wait, a plain bagel with plain cream cheese?

00:28:33

And also I asked them for a light layer because they always put too much.

00:28:35

Well, they don't charge you less for that, but, but they should. So that's like really should be $2.

00:28:39

Yeah, in the city, like a water, an orange juice, it's like $4.

00:28:43

But not a Lunen. And that's fresh squeezed. You could taste the pulp.

00:28:46

I know, I didn't like love it.

00:28:47

So it's also like you get what you pay for a little bit. It's true. You know, it wasn't Tropicana. No.

00:28:54

Well, Alendria, I wouldn't be doing it this way. Yeah. I just wouldn't. 'Cause a breakup like is an opportunity. Whether things, people are like, we're supporting you or whatever. It's a press moment. So like, now we're just like reading about how like you're being bitter, you know?

00:29:12

Do you think she's heartbroken?

00:29:14

No.

00:29:15

Like, because if Nicholândria was real—

00:29:18

was—

00:29:18

okay, let's, let's— they have to go through heartbreak too.

00:29:21

Yeah, but they're not, so that's good.

00:29:22

Yeah. Like, is he gonna go to his DJ gigs and like act upset?

00:29:27

No. I'm like, he is gonna fall off. She is not.

00:29:29

Fall off of what?

00:29:30

But like, they— she lifted him up. Like, he does DJ gigs, like, and people go.

00:29:37

Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of— like, there's space for a lot of DJs.

00:29:40

I also saw Huda Mustafa got paparazzi. Did you see this? Like, she's walking out, it was so staged, and they were like talking about her music, and she said like the music industry has been so open.

00:29:50

Like, from—

00:29:50

she's actually like been really shocked at the reception from the music industry, um, since she released her song.

00:29:56

I saw that like her dream collaborator is Rihanna.

00:29:59

Yeah, which is so different. I love like when people choose the sort of like alternative artists. Yeah, she is one of the— she remains like the craziest person I've ever seen on TV.

00:30:09

Yeah, and she's like really on— like, does she have any friends from her season? It's crazy that like Hoda is from Sierra's season and Shelley and Clark.

00:30:15

But she was on the outs even in the villa. Like, the girls were fucking done with her by the end.

00:30:19

Not done enough. No, agreed.

00:30:21

But like, the fact that they didn't remain friends with her is not shocking. No, the fact that they remained friends with Alondra, which was like sister that's shocking.

00:30:28

Yeah, I also, um, have been following the current Islanders. Like Kenzie, she's out in the Hamptons. I saw with Jayden and Caleb. Oh my God, I saw, um, what's her man's name?

00:30:42

Dylan.

00:30:43

Dylan. Hate.

00:30:45

Yeah, he's giving me like real grifter vibes.

00:30:47

Hate. He posted a picture like with a corny-ass caption about how becoming a girlfriend made her his girlfriend. Like, you literally made her miserable. Shockingly, people like her so much out of the villa, which I'm so happy for her, that like, she really is just like a nice girl. Yeah. And she was just totally redeemed. Like, yes, she had like a bad few moments, but like, we have forgiven her. And like, and she's having a good time, and he's like totally riding her coattails. And like, if she came out to like hatred, he would have dumped her in a second.

00:31:16

Yeah.

00:31:16

So I hated his caption. But anyways, they're all together, and it made me realize I haven't seen the core 4 together at all?

00:31:22

No, I know they all like did go to LA with their couples and like, I don't know, do stuff, got their hair done, and like maybe recorded podcasts or whatever. Then a lot of them—

00:31:30

no podcasts have come out.

00:31:31

That's true. A lot of them went home individually, a lot of them went home separately. So like Trinity and Bryce both went to Virginia together, but Zach and Kayda, because he had to go to England and she went to New Hampshire, they separated.

00:31:39

You see that he had to go to England because fans called immigration on him because of his visa.

00:31:46

I mean, I've said it once, I say it again, like Love Island remains like one of the most toxic, mentally ill fanhoods of all time. That's insane.

00:31:54

Yeah. So he has to go sort out his visa.

00:31:56

Trinity and Bryce like are getting paparazzi everywhere they go. They are so famous. And then I also saw, it keeps coming up on my Instagram, that like all these big talent agencies keep announcing—

00:32:03

oh yes, Trinity signed with WME, Gersh signed Anaya, Bryce went to UTA.

00:32:08

Like, it's just so funny that they're all like getting their teams in order.

00:32:11

Well, I, I had heard that like after this—

00:32:13

I read that article too.

00:32:14

There like the 10 days after the season, they were like scheduled meetings and network scheduled for them with talent agencies. And I guess that's also— I don't know if they've always done that, but that might be the flip side of this exclusivity contract that they signed. It's like they're going to help them and be taken care of, be talent. Yeah. So they had like, you know, and those are major agencies which historically like have not signed reality TV people until those reality TV people have really proven themselves as like commercial successes.

00:32:40

Bryce, like, is— it's actually, I do think that the timing of Nickolandria and then Bryce and Trinity like, couldn't be more perfect because Bryce is a DJ and they were like this beloved couple. And honestly, I just feel like Nick's gigs are gonna go to Bryce. I forgot that he was a DJ.

00:32:54

I didn't realize he was a DJ either.

00:32:56

He did a lot of things.

00:32:57

And truck repairman, garbage truck repairman. Yeah, he does garbage. He used to, probably not anymore.

00:33:05

Yeah, like how Alandra used to make elevators. Oh wait, that was her job.

00:33:09

Sterling loved that.

00:33:10

Yeah, he had a field day with that.

00:33:11

He really did. And Mel— I know everyone's job for me. She works in a bikini store. Melanie works in a bikini store. Trinity worked at Home Depot.

00:33:18

Did she? Uh-huh. Obsessed.

00:33:20

Kada, no profession to speak of. It's giving student, like Corbin.

00:33:27

Yeah, he's a student.

00:33:28

He did just graduate.

00:33:29

Corbin and Parmita are all over my TikTok.

00:33:31

Oh, then there's the Miami gang of Corbin, Parmita, and Gabriel.

00:33:34

Oh, and then Kada has just won a huge medal for like the long jump.

00:33:39

Oh, congratulations! And she also has been hanging out with a lot of the Casa people, even though she didn't know them then. I think that's Amora. And Shawn's hanging out with nobody because he's too good for these people, and like, he has a child.

00:33:52

And I saw he went to an event and they were like asking where his fit was from, and he said, oh, actually my whole fit is from SHEIN because I got a care package from them, PR.

00:34:04

It was so cute. That is cute.

00:34:07

It was, it was like very innocent.

00:34:08

Caleb was hanging out with Nick at one point.

00:34:12

Who's Nick?

00:34:13

Alandria. He went to one of his DJ gigs and I think—

00:34:16

oh, I saw that.

00:34:17

Caleb might be in the Hamptons.

00:34:19

Yes, with Jayden and Dylan and Hannah.

00:34:21

And Hannah's there and, uh, Kenzie for Cowboy Colostrom.

00:34:25

Yeah, right. Honestly, it's Love Island summer.

00:34:28

Like, it is. And it's fun to see like who's remained friends. And what's crazy is the core 4, their friendship won the season. Like, that was like they were the final 4 because of their friendship. People just wanted them in, and like they're the only ones not being friends right now.

00:34:40

Also, the streets like don't know if Melanie and Sincere are together. So like Melanie was one of the last people to come back to social media and post, and what she ended up posting was like a 20-thing carousel, like photos, none of them with Sincere. Oh, she also dyed her hair pink, which is like giving breakup. Yeah, um, I fucking hope so.

00:34:54

I think she also like needed some time to watch all the episodes, right, and like gather information. Yeah. Yeah, interesting. I haven't seen Sincere once.

00:35:03

Thank God, and it's been amazing.

00:35:05

Yeah, and then I feel like we're forgetting about a couple.

00:35:07

Sol.

00:35:09

Have you been seeing Sol around?

00:35:10

No, I know she did that like turn to Instagram Live and then that's it.

00:35:12

She's been like wearing a lot of wigs.

00:35:15

You're kidding!

00:35:15

Yeah.

00:35:16

Her hair was one of the things I liked most about her.

00:35:17

I know, and every time she like wears a wig, I'm like, I love how you look naturally.

00:35:21

Mm-hmm.

00:35:24

So, but I haven't seen her like hanging out with anyone. No. Oh, and Jen and Gaul.

00:35:28

Photo shoots, coffee, a lot.

00:35:31

She has a bagel at pop-up.

00:35:32

That's my queen right there.

00:35:34

Really cute. I'm happy for everyone because like we said, like, the humiliating nature, nature of the show and the things that they do on the show, like, they deserve every minute of this, every fame, every follower, every dollar.

00:35:47

Yeah, so they've earned it.

00:35:48

They really have. So it's, it's fun to watch. Yeah. Okay, next story. Kylie Kelce details Taylor and Travis's absolutely magical wedding. Kylie shared on her podcast on Thursday, not gonna lie, she said, I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trav. It was absolutely magical. I'm so happy for them. We love them so, so dearly, and it was only making it official because Taylor's been family now for quite some time. So that's that. She said, for any additional information, you can check in with Taylor and Travis because any of the details they want to share, they can share. Otherwise, it was intimate and incredible and full of love, both for each other and everybody else's love for them.

00:36:25

Um, you know, I like have long thought that like these two just like definitely hate each other. They're so different. But you know what, now that the dust has settled, I actually think that they're super close.

00:36:38

I do. Super close.

00:36:39

Like the fact that Taylor and Travis like hung out with them right after their wedding and like they could have been by themselves, they could have been with anyone, and like they wanted to be with Travis's brother and his wife, like that's really sweet. And I think Taylor is like super family-oriented. She has one brother who she's really close with. She doesn't like a million siblings, so it must be exciting to like be getting more family. Especially when, like, you know, in her position, there's probably not, like, a ton of people you could, like, trust wholeheartedly.

00:37:01

It must be nice to get new people you can completely trust. Yes, 3.

00:37:06

I don't know if I would trust the dad. Like, yeah, Donna, Jason, and Kylie. Yeah, so I think that, um, the more I think about it, like, while these 2 had these not been the circumstances and they met in any other way, like, they definitely would not have liked each mother. But, you know, you can't choose your family. And I actually think now— I think that they're really close.

00:37:30

Okay, that's really sweet. Um, I think, you know, she like addressed the wedding, which she had to do.

00:37:36

She had to just so she could move on.

00:37:38

She gave away nothing, which she didn't. Um, which she also had to do, you know, because I think everyone's like waiting to see what Taylor and Travis want to say. And I thought what the one, you know, sort of personal thing that she said, which was that, you know, they've already been— she's been family for a while now. Like, if she didn't like her, she didn't need to say that.

00:37:54

No, but it's actually a very sweet thing to say.

00:37:56

It is a nice thing to say.

00:37:57

I agree. No, I'm, I'm no longer looking into this, you know.

00:38:00

But for you to go from being like, oh, these two hate each other, like monster-in-laws—

00:38:04

I just want to say, I didn't think that they hated each other. I thought that Kylie hated Taylor. Like, just Kylie's personality type seems like the type of person who hypothetically would hate Taylor's personality type.

00:38:13

Yeah.

00:38:14

Um, yeah, no, I think that I was wrong, which— and no, so for you to go from that that to they're very close. I think that like being with your brother and sister-in-law directly after your wedding, during your honeymoon, like is a huge statement. Now we don't know it's like 100% true, but like streets said that they were in Montana with Jason and Kylie, and I'm just operating under that assumption.

00:38:34

I don't know why that would be a lie.

00:38:35

Yeah, and I think that that's very sweet.

00:38:37

Yeah, that is very sweet. So anyways, TikTok on the deets. Yeah, I'm getting a daily reminder.

00:38:44

I'm getting I'm getting concerned that it ain't coming.

00:38:48

It's been 3 weeks.

00:38:51

And Paige Paul came and went.

00:38:54

Paige, she's still going. Yeah, right. She's still sharing. Now they're on their honeymoon. Oh, where is she? I think they're in Nantucket. They're doing a lot of like fishing on Nantucket. Oh, I think they're— oh, how uncouth. Yeah, a lot of fishing, a lot of beer drinking.

00:39:07

That's so—

00:39:08

they went to the Dairy Boy store, I think. Very cute. Yeah, like, so not a real honeymoon, just like they took a mini moon, as the kids say. Yeah, which is cute. Are you ready for our next story? Whatever. 3. Yeah, Kim Kardashian is using her bar exam failure to sell energy drinks. So Kim shared an update yesterday about— update though, there's not really an update, but just a more of promotion.

00:39:35

Yeah, she like made this big countdown, like, announcement event. I didn't really fall for it, but it was kind of like a serious countdown, and like, I thought like something big was coming. It was just a commercial for the drink that already exists, right?

00:39:46

So it was a commercial for a drink that we already knew that she was a part of, and it was just like a big commercial making her a big part of it. There was lots of jokes, it was very high production, and her new energy drink brand is called Update. It's no caffeine and no sugar. The whole campaign is about how like, you know, she's the hardest worker, and like, I think that this is the hardest working drink, right?

00:40:07

Like, what does the hardest working woman in the world drink to keep up? Update: allegedly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that one like didn't stick. What update?

00:40:17

It hasn't— I feel like now from here on—

00:40:20

no, it literally came out like well over a year ago. I got a PR package.

00:40:22

Oh, did you?

00:40:23

I feel like— and I put them in the fridge and like I meant to drink them and I never did.

00:40:26

A couple months ago was announced that she was like— she didn't start the company, but she was coming on and like making it again. And then this seems like and that was more like B2B news.

00:40:35

No, no, it was like out and stuff.

00:40:36

Like, and then this seems like the first real like B2C push.

00:40:39

It's not—

00:40:41

maybe they're trying—

00:40:42

like, it's another big B2C push perhaps, but it just feels like, like Skims is doing so well. Like, why you gotta go and start another company? Like, it's good.

00:40:53

Yeah.

00:40:56

Like, Kylie's also doing hydration as well.

00:40:59

Hydration 6 under K2O, under Sprinter.

00:41:03

Right, Sprinter's not alcohol anymore.

00:41:05

Yeah, it's hydration sticks.

00:41:07

Kendall has 818. Yeah, this doesn't do it for me.

00:41:13

I'm not like running out and buying updates.

00:41:16

No, me neither.

00:41:17

The commercial was well done. There was a joke about how she didn't— someone said, didn't you like fail the bar? She said, I didn't fail the bar, I raised it.

00:41:24

But you also failed twice. Is she gonna take it again? Please. No, I know, but like imagine she did all of that like just to not even finish.

00:41:34

I know.

00:41:35

You can only fail so many times, right? Like, if you fail, I think, 3 times, they don't let you take it. Like, it's not a test you could take unlimited.

00:41:41

That would be good.

00:41:42

Yeah, you can't just take it.

00:41:43

She's gonna take it again. Like, knowing her, you know, she doesn't give up. Failure is not in her vocabulary. She will take it again.

00:41:52

I actually think it was only her first time taking it. No, she passed the baby bar, and then this was her first time taking the regular bar.

00:41:58

I don't think so.

00:41:59

You know, JFK Jr. failed the bar. Like, there are greats who have.

00:42:03

But what did he— aside from like being JFK Jr., like, what did he do? Nothing great as a lawyer.

00:42:08

I was a lawyer, uh, nothing. He started that magazine, which you don't have to be a lawyer to do.

00:42:12

Yeah, like his greatness didn't come from the fact that he passed from his legal background. Yeah, so I wouldn't use that as an example.

00:42:20

Okay.

00:42:22

Um. But yeah, what's to say really?

00:42:27

What's to say about update? I'm not sure, other than the fact that like I personally don't care.

00:42:33

Yeah, and like don't waste a countdown, you know? I know like Taylor does it, and Taylor, I feel those sometimes wastes it. She does, but I'm desensitized to her countdown.

00:42:42

It's true.

00:42:42

I know it's going to be like a new vinyl, a new cover, but when you're not a countdown person and then you do a countdown, like, not with some news I already knew.

00:42:53

Yeah, Kim, this was definitely not countdown worthy. Uh-huh, uh-huh, 100%.

So most people just assume that if they're taking supplements every day, they're getting the benefits. Most supplements absorb at least— oh, sorry, at less than 16%, which means over 84% of supplements that you're taking could be completely wasted. The Absorption Company uses cutting-edge technology to make supplements with pharmaceutical-grade absorption, which is up to 149 times faster than standard supplements.

00:48:51

You're welcome, Dia.

00:48:53

Our fourth story is a very crazy story. So Jerry O'Connell is making news admitting that he was a terrible boyfriend to his ex Juliana Rancic.

00:49:03

Yeah, so that was the first time hearing of this.

00:49:05

So the way this story reached me was I saw Juliana. I don't follow her. She's on the boat saying, oh, my ex wants to talk about how it went down 20 years ago. 'Oh, we could talk about it. New episode of Billie Giuliana Drops Next Week.' The podcast drops next week. And then the caption, it said something about Jerry. I'm like, who's Giuliana's random ex named Jerry? Like, what's the tea? Yeah. Then come to find out she's talking about Jerry O'Connell, who went on, um, SiriusXM show Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, and he admitted to Kelly Ripa that he was a terrible boyfriend to Giuliana. So this is what he said to Kelly Ripa that caused Giuliana to make that video.

00:49:45

I mean, he said it, but then also like he got picked up a lot. It was like, uh, People magazine was obsessed with it.

00:49:49

Yes. But like, this is what People magazine is saying that he said. So she asked Jerry about his relationship with Giuliana. He noted that though they had appropriate, yeah, like over 20 years ago, he's married. Like she's married.

00:50:01

Yeah.

00:50:02

You know what? Kelly's asking the hard questions. Kelly is gonna Kelly commend the cojones. It's true. Um, not mindless news.

00:50:10

No, finally.

00:50:11

He noted that though they had a lot of fun together, he was a pretty terrible boyfriend. So in her memoir from 2016, she alleged that he cheated on her and ended their relationship over intercom. Kelly, intercom. Yeah, like, you know, when you—

00:50:24

what, in the '90s? Yeah.

00:50:25

Kelly asked Jerry if Giuliana had ran by him the contents of her memoir that pertained to him, and Jerry said she had not.

00:50:32

He said she doesn't have to if that's true.

00:50:34

Yeah, he said, now listen, in Giuliana Rancic's defense of this memoir, I was a pretty terrible boyfriend. Boyfriend. Hand up, I was not a good boyfriend. Let me take this moment to apologize to Giuliana Rancic. I'm not kidding about being a terrible boyfriend. I was the worst. I wasn't the worst boyfriend, I was just a bad boyfriend. I was just not a great boyfriend. In the memoir, she said, were you a good boyfriend or a bad boy? She said he broke up with her via intercom, which he confirmed. He said, I broke up with her through an intercom because Giuliana Rancic came to my condominium and hit my intercom. I was not expecting Giuliana Rancic.

00:51:06

This is—

00:51:07

she wanted entry into my condominium. Thank goodness, buzzer, gate, security. I paid a pretty hefty homeowner's fee for these things. He said— I said, I did not know you were coming. You can't come up here. You can't come here unannounced. Notice no one had boundaries. Like, notice that no one had a key. They were dating and she wants to come into his condominium. Of course, he's insane. He said no one had a key, so the relationship was not like that, but that was why I didn't like someone coming to my condominium.

00:51:34

Why does he keep calling it a condominium?

00:51:36

And why does he keep calling her Juliana Rancid coming to my apartment when she was Juliana DePandi then?

00:51:40

She was Juliana DePandi.

00:51:42

She said, I didn't like someone coming to my condominium without an invite or even a text or a phone call. There was no warning, and I didn't want someone coming in because I didn't want any confrontation. Um, he then— then Kelly proceeded to read a line from Juliana's memoir on what Jerry said. I had no idea this happened.

00:52:00

Me neither.

00:52:00

Like, much like the bald woman running Juliana's memoirs, running out of goodwill. I didn't know they ever dated, that they ended contentiously, that she spilled the beans in 2016.

00:52:08

No, I knew none of this up until yesterday.

00:52:10

So Juliana says in her memoir that Geri on the intercom said, nope, sorry homegirl, things change, but you take care, okay?

00:52:17

Oh my God.

00:52:18

Now, Geri said, I don't recall exact wording, so I can't deny that I said that. It doesn't sound like something I would say. I mean, if I were writing a memoir, it would make for a good quote. Quote, I'm going to applaud Juliana for using colorful dialogue and everything.

00:52:31

Okay, he's gaslighting her.

00:52:32

So now Juliana hears that, takes to Instagram and says, oh, you want to know the true story of what happened? But check out my podcast, it's coming out next week. I'm sure there's a lot of tea because he did probably cheat on her. He was a terrible boyfriend and he's admitting to those things and like sort of, you know, trying to take the sting out of it. But she's gonna bring the sting back in.

00:52:52

And I do understand Juliana like responding this on her podcast because I think at the place that she's in, like, you only get so many big moments for your podcast. So yeah, like, true. So you know what, I get it. Like, this is a, this is a hustle. We all are doing what we have to do. I don't know if like the Bill and Giuliana podcast makes waves very often, but I would also say like the podcast should have dropped today. Oh, for sure. Don't tell me to tune in next week because I'll be on to something new next week.

00:53:16

I personally won't be tuning in.

00:53:18

No, of course.

00:53:18

Let me know what happens.

00:53:20

She like confounds me a little bit because she like left public life like by choice, right?

00:53:27

Well, she left E! News and such.

00:53:29

Yeah, and I think a lot of people left E! News either by their own decision or not, and they continue to do other stuff like social media. And I don't know, she like—

00:53:36

she does social media.

00:53:37

She like really disappeared. She doesn't have a podcast.

00:53:40

She does social media. She has a podcast. She left like television, but she does FabFitFun. Like, she—

00:53:46

I don't know if FabFitFun is still in I think it is. FabFitFun is like so important to me.

00:53:52

Yeah, I know. So like, she is like a— like, people like really like her and her and Bill, and they have a really nice marriage.

00:53:58

And Bill is rich. Well, they're rich. Excuse me, that was like very condescending of me. But like, he like is rich.

00:54:05

Is he?

00:54:05

He won The Apprentice.

00:54:06

But that's like—

00:54:07

but not like Celebrity Apprentice. Back in the day, if you were on regular Apprentice, it was like a huge deal.

00:54:12

It was, but it didn't mean that you were rich. It meant that you were like a smart person.

00:54:15

No, but it meant that like you were— he got like a big job. Like, you— like, it used to mean something. Yeah, we think of celebrities, but like, that was so long ago.

00:54:22

Like, what happened to the job? That's like winning America's Next Top Model. Like, didn't mean you were the next time.

00:54:27

No, it's not, because like you were getting a job in business, not in modeling. Like, modeling is fickle and fleeting. Like, it's like he went to business school.

00:54:33

Like, yeah, no, he's definitely like smart and a good businessman. I think he's done well for himself, and there's a reason why he won The Apprentice, and I think that showcased his talents. But just because you win The Apprentice, like, doesn't mean you become a moneyed individual.

00:54:43

Oh, I like actually think that it was.

00:54:45

Really?

00:54:45

What does Bill Rancic do for work? Like, I know he's rich, or am I just like genuinely making stuff up?

00:54:51

But you think The Apprentice made him rich?

00:54:52

And they also own a chain of restaurants. Yeah, he's best known for winning The Apprentice. He's handsome, he looks like Eddie Cibrian. Um, he's a restaurant owner, of course. They own RPM, which like is a big deal in Chicago. Like, I think it's like equivalent of BLT Steak, how there's like a million of them. BLT Steak, BLT Italian, whatever. That's what I think. He's also an entrepreneur and investor. Becoming famous, Bill started an online subscription business, and since The Apprentice, he's invested and advised a variety businesses and real estate projects. He's a professional speaker and author and a podcast host. Okay, maybe I'm like misremembering.

00:55:20

No, but that's sweet.

00:55:22

Yeah, I always thought like she left Ian, like left her public life because she had a rich husband, you know?

00:55:27

Um, no, but she obviously like has opportunities. Like, you don't just like leave, and nobody really could do what she did after. That's a job a million girls would kill for. The shoes that— no, they canceled the show, right? Because they could not find the shoes to fill that Giuliana and Ryan left behind.

00:55:46

I think that E! News was a failure this time around because they couldn't find the people to fill. I just think like it was too late. You're telling us news at 7 PM? Like, we knew this yesterday.

00:55:56

No, like, the way people consume content is different than it was, not what it was, and they just couldn't evolve.

00:56:01

She's just like an anomaly to me.

00:56:02

But even like red carpet coverage, that's still very— it has suffered, and they still try and fill the shoes.

00:56:07

Yeah, but they don't fill the shoes. The thing about Giuliana and Ryan is like nobody knew who they were. They were just journalists, right? Them filling with Laverne Cox, like, sorry, that's not gonna cut it.

00:56:15

Still trying to fill the shoes.

00:56:17

Still trying to fill the shoes. You know, Giuliana Rancic left a gaping hole in media.

00:56:24

Shoes to fill.

00:56:25

Are you okay? Don't hurt your back. Don't hurt your back. Big shoes.

00:56:32

Some big shoes to fill.

00:56:33

Absolutely.

00:56:33

And Ryan Seacrest left some little ones.

00:56:36

Funny.

00:56:39

Kraken.

00:56:41

Um, like things I do.

00:56:42

I think she has like, shalom bhai. I think this is exciting for her podcast. Um, it's crazy that Jerry O'Connell, who's like the most famous nice guy—

00:56:50

yeah, very affable, everybody loves him, everybody loves him—

00:56:53

but it turns out 20 years ago he was kind of a cheating douchebag nightmare.

00:56:57

Well, I just feel like that should be inspiration to cheating douchebag nightmares everywhere. Like, you can too, girl.

00:57:03

And the women who love them. However, yours probably won't change.

00:57:06

Oh yeah, don't let Jerry O'Connor fool you, you know, he's not gonna—

00:57:10

he's the exception, not the rule. Absolutely. So stay tuned. I look forward to People magazine recapping the podcast. Yeah. Our fifth and final story, a little casting biopic news. Tom Holland, Zendaya's boyfriend, yeah, is filming Fred Astaire biopic next and plans to do all of the dancing himself.

00:57:33

Mouth. Okay, I'm going to need like a quick briefer on Fred Astaire.

00:57:37

Fred Astaire, you know Fred Astaire.

00:57:40

No, that's why I asked for the briefer. I don't—

00:57:41

he's like that acting dancing guy from like the '50s. Let's get his official bio.

00:57:47

What's he in that I've seen?

00:57:48

I want to say Singing in the Rain. Like, I—

00:57:50

oh my God, I was going to say that too, or like Guys and Dolls.

00:57:53

Okay, he was in— he's an American actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and presenter.

00:57:58

Does Tom Holland sing?

00:58:01

I don't know.

00:58:01

They are booked and busy, those two. Like, it's actually crazy. What are the odds that, like, genuinely the most popular famous actress is married to, like, the most popular famous actor of their time? Like, they're both— they're gonna grow up to be like Brad and Angelina, hopefully. But, like, hopefully not. But I mean in terms of career.

00:58:17

Um, so he was in Top Hat, Funny Face, Swing Time.

00:58:23

Yeah, I think he's a swing king. I think he's like a swing dancer.

00:58:26

Yeah, for sure. Easter Parade, you know. He, he started with Ginger Rogers.

00:58:30

I don't know, I feel like a biopic for a man, it's like a very hit or miss. Sometimes it like makes a great actor and sometimes like I think it ruins a career.

00:58:41

Oh, interesting.

00:58:42

Like Austin Butler never— like completely fell off after Elvis.

00:58:45

Fell off from where though?

00:58:46

Like he was literally— he was like this.

00:58:49

No, he was not.

00:58:50

Yes, he was.

00:58:51

He was like this. No, with a little— with a small peak for—

00:58:54

he was on the up and up. And did he ever work after that?

00:58:57

It was Dune. Yeah, it was shocking that got the part.

00:59:00

Yeah, but so the fact that he did, like, that means like you're chosen. Like, what's next for you?

00:59:04

I actually think Austin Butler is like having success as an actor. We just refuse to see it.

00:59:08

No, I'm telling you, he's going to be playing like Norman Bates, American Psycho. He's going to, going to, going to.

00:59:13

No, I haven't seen— I just like, I feel like we have like a blockage, you know, and we can't like— we act because we think so.

00:59:20

Jeremy Allen White being like Bruce Springsteen, people hated. I personally hated Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan. Like, I, I don't know.

00:59:26

Rami Malek as—

00:59:28

that was a make or break, and he make.

00:59:29

Yeah.

00:59:29

Yeah, Taron Egerton, make.

00:59:33

Joaquin Phoenix, Johnny Cash, make.

00:59:36

Major. Yeah, it's just a little— I think it's like a little risky sometimes, honestly.

00:59:42

But I don't think so, because even if it doesn't like make you, like, it's good quality work and like it's fine.

00:59:49

Sometimes I feel like it backfires.

00:59:50

Like, I think it's like safe.

00:59:51

Oh, I don't—

00:59:53

I think it's safe.

00:59:54

And then you're like comparing to like who you're playing, you know.

00:59:56

And also I feel like this will be like a cute— it'll be like a cool setting for a movie, you know, the swing. And the— it's based in— oh my God, he was born in 1899.

01:00:06

Like, are they saying Tom Holland?

01:00:07

I'm like, no, obviously like his career is in the 1900s, but he was born in the 1800s.

01:00:12

It's really spooky.

01:00:13

That is crazy.

01:00:14

That's like what they probably are going to start saying about us soon, like we were born in the 1900s.

01:00:18

That is what they're going to say about us in 100 years.

01:00:20

Ugh, I feel so—

01:00:21

lest we not judge.

01:00:23

It's so true.

01:00:24

He had a long dancing partnership with Ginger Rogers. I wonder who will play she.

01:00:28

They literally cast Zendaya in everything that they do, so like, sure, make it Zendaya.

01:00:33

So cute.

01:00:34

You know, did you see The Hollywood Reporter's like— or Variety, one of them— is getting shit because they wrote up a thing on The Odyssey like ranking the performances of all the actors.

01:00:42

No.

01:00:42

Yeah, and they put Tom Holland 17th, like dead last.

01:00:44

Oh, he's in it?

01:00:46

Yeah, and Zendaya. Oh, is that crazy?

01:00:49

I don't know, everyone's in The Odyssey, I guess. Like, it's a huge cast, right?

01:00:53

Oh, and then Um, Anne Hathaway was talking about working with Christopher Nolan again. What was she in with him the first time? Robert Pattinson was in it with him once.

01:01:02

See, everyone's in this movie. You're naming people, I'm like, are you not following the press? Like, no, because I'm not on TikTok, so I don't get served.

01:01:07

When did Anne Hathaway first work with Christopher Nolan?

01:01:11

You like to see them all day long.

01:01:12

I do.

01:01:13

They say clips of their interviews. Is Flaj doing interviews?

01:01:16

Oh, Dark Knight Rises, she was in that. I didn't know that she was Catwoman.

01:01:20

Um, is Flodge doing interviews?

01:01:22

Who's Flodge?

01:01:24

You know Flodge, that woman who like with Blake Lively.

01:01:29

If I'm a celebrity and I'm an actress, I'm keeping Flodge the fuck away from me.

01:01:32

Flodge also like has beef with Anne Hathaway too. Yeah, I know, but Anne Hathaway apologized. She apologized.

01:01:37

She was not going down the Blake Lively rabbit hole. You guys know, I think she's like Dutch. She's an international reporter who like is obviously like very She's sort of the, the Giuliana Rancic of her country, of the Netherlands, because anytime an actress or actor does press, she's there representing like the Netherlands media community. And she like has all this archival footage. Remember she had the video of Blake Lively where she was like, oh, your bump looks so great. Blake was like, your bump looks great. That was fucking crazy. And then that video went so viral, literally started the Blake Lively cancellation hate train, like literally. And then she was like trying to make lightning strike twice. So she had this like nasty video of Anne Hathaway from like years ago. It came out and like people were starting— and Anne Hathaway just got back in the good graces of America. She's not going back. So she like reached out to the woman, like sent her a million dollars, got her a gift, and like it was diffused. Yeah. So just know, like, if I'm ever in a film, you will be— she's on the— she's on the no-fly list.

01:02:31

You're skipping press day with floss.

01:02:32

1,000%. Yeah, I'm calling in sick that day.

01:02:34

Yeah, 1,000%.

01:02:36

Well, those are the past 5 stories. I don't feel like we need to do Queenie and Weenie because I already said mine. Fine. Yeah, you have any thoughts? Oh fine, let's do Queenie.

01:02:45

Well, no, we like— we didn't—

01:02:47

no, Juwan is my queenie and my weenie. Like, I'm sorry, you have to read her comment section. She's fighting for her fucking life, but she's actually like eating people up. But when I saw that thing the other day, like, oh, Nickelodeon broke up, here's everything I've gotten and not posted. Like, thanks.

01:02:59

I wonder if like if she does that with other people too. Like, would she post a cheating rumor about someone?

01:03:07

I don't know. I don't know what the ethics of Deux Moi are.

01:03:09

Like, I don't think I— like, thinking back, like, I don't think she's ever posted like cheating rumors.

01:03:13

I think like back in the day she had like a lot less to lose and she was just like sort of posting whatever came her way. And I do think she's probably gotten like a substantial amount of like threatening legal notices, cease and desist, so she's definitely more careful. And her content has suffered because of it, but like now she's like a full-on media company, so she has more to lose.

01:03:28

And she's like, and you don't just like post like baseless cheating rumors. Someone he messaged you, right? Or something like, hard, like, seems like he doesn't want to be around Alandria. Like, how do you even know that?

01:03:37

You're like, we're just making up things based on vibes now?

01:03:39

That's not appropriate, and that's not what a media person does.

01:03:42

Yeah, but I just think like the whole, um, yeah, it was Queenie and Weenie.

01:03:47

I understand.

01:03:49
