Good morning, girlies. It's The Toast. It's Jackson Claude, and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, It's The Toast.

00:00:22

They sound amazing.

00:00:24

Welcome back to The Toast, and happy...

00:00:27

What is it? Thursday. It's Thursday.

00:00:29

It's Thursday. It's Ms. Folley's birthday. Everybody, make sure to go over to Jackie's Instagram and say, Happy birthday, queen. Slay the house down, boots. I am joined by, honestly, somebody who took The Toaster community by storm last week. It's Jeremiah Fisher, Ratinolia's mom.

00:00:46

Satchi's my co-I'm back, I'm back, I'm back.

00:00:50

If you're not watching, Satchi's at my studio in New York. I'm at Jackie's studio in Florida. I'm looking left. I always look right. This is not my good side. I feel so weird.

00:01:02

We're all turned around over here. But is this going to be your new norm? Or do you have to get used to looking at to the left while we're in Florida?

00:01:10

No. In Florida, I'm having people in person, so I'm renting a studio. But when I'm doing remote, I'm going to use Jackie's Studio. I just feel so weird. The left side is where I had my old mole. I just don't feel right.

00:01:21

You don't feel safe.

00:01:23

Wait. Yeah, my left side. I'm feeling really on edge.

00:01:26

Now, have you seen...

00:01:30

I've been doing this thing. Have you been keeping up with my Clue series?

00:01:33

Yeah, of course. I saw the rat, you bitch.

00:01:35

Did you get it?

00:01:37

Obviously, I'm not a moron.

00:01:39

I feel like people aren't going to get it, and you're really lucky because they post it.

00:01:41

I'm not saying that they're morons. I'm saying I would be a moron not to get that.

00:01:44

Margot, so I posted it on TikTok. Is Instagram down or something?

00:01:48

Oh, yeah, I didn't see it on Instagram. By the way, I was thinking- It's not posting. I only know it because I know I'm the host today. So I'm like, How did you make it me? I feel like people aren't going to get I don't think people are going to get it.

00:02:01

Now, I say it was love after last... Margot joined me twice last week. She opened up Margot and Claude and Friends with me, and everyone loved it and took your side. You were the victim and I was the villain. I love that. Then Friday, you joined us for Toaster Ween. We have to recap Toaster Ween.

00:02:15

We have to. Did you talk about the video yet?

00:02:17

Jeremiah was a bullfog. Margot, you put your whole Snatchee into your Jeremiah Fisher costume, so much so that Garret? What's his name?

00:02:31

Oh, Gavin.

00:02:33

Gavin, the real actor, was asked about it on a red carpet. Shout out to The Toaster. Totally. Who asked him about it. Totally. He had seen... You talk. We posted on our Instagram, you guys know what I'm talking about. The actor who plays Jeremiah was asked about our costume on an interview, and he literally said he had seen it. He said Margot's name.

00:02:50

He didn't even say... He wasn't asked about our costume. He was asked about how people dress up as Jeremiah for Halloween. Oh, he referenced us. And then he referenced us. And he was like... He name dropped. He was like, Girl, no job. Margot. He was like, Margot, as though we were long lost friends, which now we are. For the same basis. For the same basis. He said that we're shaping culture. It's just the craziest thing ever.

00:03:19

Isn't it funny that we're shaping culture? We're just us?

00:03:22

No, we're just being so stupid.

00:03:26

My God, you were so funny. Seriously. Thank you. Even Jackie was like, I'm so glad I wasn't there. It was perfect, even though I love moral energy.

00:03:35

I feel like I was really channeling Jackie as Harry. Prince Harry, yeah. Prince Harry. And that was the energy that I was taking. Also, I do have to say, I really learned a big lesson on Friday, and it's that men are onto something sitting like this.

00:03:49

About spreading like that.

00:03:50

Oh, it's so comfortable, let me tell you. I'm not going to do it. Feel free. No, it feels unbecoming.

00:03:58

Unsavory. Yeah. It's not becoming of a young woman such as yourself.

00:04:02

Exactly.

00:04:03

What would Ratenolia think seeing her mother with her legs?

00:04:06

Here's the thing. I'm just going to make a blanket statement right now. Okay. I'm so tired. I don't have the energy to be bullied today.

00:04:15

I thought you were going to say you don't have the energy to fight back, and I was like, Oh, great.

00:04:18

No, I don't have the energy to be bullied today.

00:04:20

You saying that you are being bullied is only proof that you've never been bullied, okay? I actually have. I have. Because do bullies love their victims? Yes.

00:04:31

Bullies are obsessed with their victims. They want to make out with their victims.

00:04:35

Would bullies put their life out on the line for their victims?

00:04:39

Did you put your life out on the line? Did I miss that?

00:04:42

I would if you asked me to.

00:04:45

Right.

00:04:46

So please. Have you been bullying?

00:04:48

Yes. Margot was bullied.

00:04:51

I had my child.

00:04:51

Are you talking about the one at? Which one? I forgot about that situation. No, I also had my in middle school?

00:05:01

Yeah, of course, we all did. I don't know if I would consider that bullying, but Margaret experienced an actual bullying at... I won't say, but I was there. It was crazy. But I was there. Let me tell you, I went... I literally was crying in bed. I was so upset.

00:05:11

No, it was so crazy. I was just a girl.

00:05:15

I don't know. You were a bitch.

00:05:17

By the way, I'm a bitch now. I wasn't a bitch then. They made me into a bitch.

00:05:21

Sure. Blame them. Now, we have to acknowledge that it's one of our founding sister's birthday. 100%. Jacqueline Follet turns 33 today. I know it's what she would want.

00:05:32

That we sing.

00:05:34

We?

00:05:35

Yeah.

00:05:36

No. No. Why don't you do choreography?

00:05:44

Okay. Okay, fine.

00:05:46

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy Happy birthday, Jacqueline Folley. Happy birthday to... Are you? Yes, that's right. Happy birthday, Jackie. We miss you.

00:06:19

Happy birthday, Jackie. What are you guys doing today?

00:06:24

I don't know. I was just chatting with Ms. Folley about what the plans are. She didn't really provide provide much clarity on how she wants to spend her day. So still up in the air.

00:06:36

Still up in the air.

00:06:37

Now, I feel like Magnolia has her pause around Mark Zuckerberg's neck because I'm sitting here trying to upload my clue, and it will not upload to Instagram. Thankfully, it's on TikTok, but for anyone who didn't see it, it's because Instagram's coming for me, but rat equals ratnolia.

00:06:54

If for people who didn't see it, it's because the toast was shadow ban for hyperbullying.

00:07:01

Bullying and harassment. So, Sachi, what's to do with you since we spoke on Friday?

00:07:09

Literally nothing.

00:07:10

We are recording at the crack of dawn because Margot is going to work.

00:07:13

I can't think of one thing that is new since Friday. I can't think of anything that I've done. I actually nothing is coming to mind. All I know is that I'm fucking exhausted, and you know what? I'm tapping out.

00:07:27

Okay, no, because you were just starting to I'm not going to tap back in.

00:07:30

No, sorry. I meant to have me out of life.

00:07:33

Well, don't do that either. Actually, let's talk about this. I actually did want to talk to you about this, Satji. I think a lot of people really admire the fact that you work full-time, but you're also a very successful influencer a a failed podcaster.

00:07:47

It's so true.

00:07:49

Now, why don't you talk to us about that decision? I think a lot of people find success on social media and end up quitting their jobs. Now, you definitely could support yourself financially just by being an influencer. Why have you decided to take both the successful influencer and corporate girly route? Margot works in fashion. She's got a big, fancy, serious job.

00:08:09

Yeah, it's so crazy.

00:08:10

You work harder at that job and you make less money. It makes it make sense.

00:08:15

Yeah, I know. What's that? Tiktok. Oh, my goodness. I love this question.

00:08:19

Margot, that's from our show.

00:08:22

Yeah, it is. It's from our show. It's Belly saying that. It's Belly saying that. No, okay. There's so many different things. One, I really do enjoy structure and a routine. I can't imagine waking up every day and just having to figure out what content I have to film and making it very strategic in that way. Also, I think about myself enough. I don't need to be thinking about myself 24/7 all the time. Whereas with this, it's like I wake up, I go to an office, I work for someone else and for something else, and I can put my effort into that while also doing what I do for myself online. Also, it's helpful. I'm blessed and I'm very grateful. It's not that easy for some people who have jobs who work in finance or super corporate. To do both. They're really crazy. Like, your specific brand deals you can't take.

00:09:16

They say, Acquired Style Sister. She worked at where? Goldman Sachs.

00:09:19

She worked at Goldman Sachs.

00:09:19

Then her TikTok started taking off. She was doing just outfit of the day, going to work at Goldman Sachs. They yelled at her and she had to choose, right?

00:09:25

Yeah, she had to choose. Obviously, she chose influencing, which was a good decision. A hundred %. But I don't have that. I also work in the industry from the brand side.

00:09:37

It benefits you in a corporate sense to be an influencer, and it benefits you as an influencer from the corporate side. You know who you remind me of? I feel like this is going to be probably one of the nicest things I'll ever say to you, so you should just prepare yourself, okay?

00:09:48

I'm ready.

00:09:51

Do you remember Oscar PR Girl?

00:09:53

Who?

00:09:54

Okay, so back in the day, before real... This is when I was in high school. Influencers were not a thing. And the big social media was Twitter. There was a girl, Oscar PR Girl. She was the PR girl for Oscar De La Renta. And she just documented her life, and she was Oscar PR Girl. And she wasn't an influencer per se, but she started... I don't even know if anyone ever knew who she was. She just documented her life. She was so cool. It was Oscar PR Girl, like Fashion's Night Out, Oscar PR Girl. I feel like she was famous for her job. It was really cool. I feel like you remind me of that a little bit.

00:10:27

Oh, that's so kind. Yeah. Thank you. No, You're welcome. Yeah, that's part of it. It all benefits each other. What I know from an influencer benefits me in my job, and what I know as a brand benefits me as an influencer, which I do think is annoying for the people who work with me, for my team, my management, because I feel like they're like, I'm so in the weeds on things because I'm like, Well, no, I know how this works. I do these contracts. But yeah, and also who doesn't love a dual income?

00:10:56

I mean, one thing about me, I'm looking for multiple revenue streams. No, I love One thing about me, I love revenue. Revenue means everything to me. You know what I mean?

00:11:04

Ultimately, at the end of the day, I like nice things. Of course. I'm going to do what I can to provide those for myself until I find someone who can provide them for me.

00:11:14

L-o-l. She works hard for the money. I have to tell you, the stories today were hand selected just for you.

00:11:21

There's one I really hope is in there.

00:11:24

Okay, but I can replace. What are you looking for?

00:11:27

I want to talk about the Jake Shane show.

00:11:29

Of course, I'll get in there. Today's episode is extremely Gen Z-Coded because I'm sitting down with my young, hot thing, and I'm also young and hip. The coolest person ever. Obviously, we'd be talking about the young, hip things. I don't know what you're doing.

00:11:41

What are we going to talk about? Boomer stuff?

00:11:43

I mean, I do love talking about Boomer, and don't disrespect our Boomer audience. I love our boomers, our Gen Xers. You guys know I wish you were our only listeners because you guys have disposable income. You're excellent. You don't leave hate comments.

00:11:57

It's so true.

00:11:59

Some of them do, and they cut really deep because they're like, you know.

00:12:02

No, because by the way, they're smart.

00:12:04

But for the most part, I value our Gen X and Boomer listeners, probably the most.

00:12:10

Okay, I'm sorry that I said that. I take it back. Please don't cancel me.

00:12:13

Thank you. Now, I got to get to the statue. I know you have a lot to do, and not to put you on the spot, but you were about 13 minutes late.

00:12:20

I was. I'm really sorry.

00:12:21

I feel like maybe we should just dive in to the fast five stories that you need to know.

00:12:26

I'm ready when you are. Well, I didn't ask how you are. How are you doing?

00:12:30

Nobody ever asks how I'm doing. I'm doing great. Just living life in Florida, being fat. What more could you want?

00:12:40

How's the weather? Is it really hot? Do I need to be prepared?

00:12:43

It's really unsavory. It's thick. Oh, great.

00:12:47

Yeah. Great. Okay.

00:12:50

00:19:10

Okay, Sachi, are you ready for the Fast Five Stories?

00:19:13

Yes, I am.

00:19:13

Well, since you brought it up, let's make our lead story today. Some headline news from Tinsaltown. Therapist podcaster, Jake Shane, is starring in a Hulu comedy project based on his own life. Therapist podcaster and comedian, Jake Shane, has signed on to an executive producing star in a Hulu half hour comedy based on his life. The series in development from 20th TV stars Shane, playing a version of himself and his best friends as they navigate the chaotic new world of online fame, the strain it puts on their friendships and the tension their presence causes in their suburban neighborhood. Oh, that's funny because I don't think they live there anymore. But when I did the Therapist podcast, he lives in a house with his best friends, and there's this detached garage, and the garage was the studio. When I pulled up, I was really surprised that it was just a neighborhood where kids grow up.

00:19:59

Oh, I didn't know This is funny.

00:20:01

They don't live there anymore, and I think some of them moved to New York. But that's a funny element of the show.

00:20:06

That is a funny element of the show. I'm so excited about this.

00:20:09

Me too.

00:20:10

I really just love Jake Shane. I know that everyone does. I know.

00:20:15

It's annoying, though, because I feel like I was really early.

00:20:18

Yeah, you were early. But I'm so happy for him. I also feel like everything he does is good.

00:20:26

Good. Agreed.

00:20:27

That's where I'm like, I feel like also he He has so many friends in the industry. He knows who to ask to help him.

00:20:35

The people involved are major. The consulting producer is someone named Genevieve Annie Yellow. She's set to executive produce and write the pilot. She writes for Hacks and High Potential, which is that show on ABC that everybody loves. The pilot is based on an original story by Jake, this woman, Genevieve, and Paul Brigante, who is from Saturday Night Live.

00:20:56

It's really- It's A plus.

00:20:59

Yeah. Yeah, I agree. Everything he does, everything he puts out is very thoughtful. Even his little teasers for his guests, it's always really high production quality. It's not like a dumb TikTok that people throw together. He takes everything really seriously. A lot of his content, his produced content When he makes a trailer that he's going on tour, it's all very thoughtfully written, and he clearly has a knack for production.

00:21:22

And for writing.

00:21:23

And he himself and his friends, it's a funny good concept. People becoming famous online, living in a suburban neighborhood. I think it'll be excellent. I love him. I love him. And it's so rare when people from the internet get taken to the mainstream. They always choose the wrong people.

00:21:39

They always choose the wrong people.

00:21:42

And then it fails, and they're like, Well, people from the internet can't do mainstream. Why don't you choose somebody actually good and funny? I think this is the perfect- Perfect. Selection. If Jake Shane has no fans, I've passed away.

00:21:56

No, I passed away. I'm really excited. I think it's going to be amazing. I'm also so curious because I feel like there's going to be a lot of truth to it. I'm sure a lot of it is going to be fictionalized, but I think it's just going to be so interesting. Also, give me some of him becoming best friends with all these celebrities. I want it in the show.

00:22:15

Alex Earle. Sophia Richie. I would love to see Alex Earle cameo.

00:22:19

Tate McRay, Glenn Powell. Kyah Gerber. His roster of friends. I actually do think they are genuinely friends. I think everyone who meets him loves him. Me too. I'm just like, I would like to know about it. Give me the T.

00:22:32

100%. I also think, because Jackie and I are always talking about how the streamers have different moments. Hulu is definitely having a moment. The Nader Sister show, The Kardashian's, they're really crushing it in the unscripted space. I think for Jake to be associated with Hulu, Hulu is very cool right now.

00:22:51

Agreed. Honestly, I can't think of something Netflix has done in the past year that's been worthwhile.

00:22:56

I know, especially in terms of young, hip. They have their things. Yeah.

00:23:01

Also summer, I turn pretty. Oh, no, that's prime video. Prime.

00:23:04

Yeah. No, Hulu is extremely cool right now.

00:23:07

Agreed. If they wanted to give me a show, I'd say yes.

00:23:10

You would say Hulu? Yeah. If you could choose where to have it.

00:23:12

Yeah, but I'd also say yes, free form.

00:23:14

Yeah, because Margot is what we call Desperate, you guys.

00:23:17

Desperate. So are you?

00:23:18

I'm actually not. I just want to say.

00:23:20

No, you take it.

00:23:22

No, actually, I feel like I'm really cool and not desperate at all.

00:23:26

Okay, like I said, we like revenue.

00:23:28

Is the show called Therapus? What's it called?

00:23:30

We don't know yet.

00:23:31

Right now, they're calling it the... Hello. I'm looking. It was called the Shane Pilot or something.

00:23:41

Oh, no, I don't think we know yet.

00:23:44

Don't you feel like his podcast is really the go-to destination for mostly music, but just celebrities in general? Yes, that's what I'm saying. I feel like it's really giving Call Her Daddy a run for its money. For sure. I think Therapist has started to steal guests. Not steal, but like- I think it's like one or the other. Yeah, especially for musicians, people releasing music.

00:24:10

Yeah. Well, that's also where I think it goes back to everyone is friends with Jake.

00:24:14

Right. His personal connections.

00:24:16

It's so much easier to go have a conversation with someone- That you know already. And you could just banter and whatever.

00:24:24

A thousand %. It's just he's really funny.

00:24:27

He's really funny. Also, what he's done for I'm rewatching it now.

00:24:32

Oh, that's so funny. Actually, that's a great segue into our next story. It's a show that you used to watch that reminds me of your era with Scandal, is Suits.

00:24:41

Oh, is this about Megan Markle?

00:24:43

So Megan Markle is making a return to acting. I feel like every time Megan Markle farts, there's 11,000 news stories about it. I can't believe more people aren't talking about this. It's such a big deal. She's coming back in a movie where she's playing herself, which is different. So she's returning to acting for the first time since Royal Life in a new movie with Lily Collins and Brie Larson. She has a small part. She seems very relaxed and happy. A source tells people on her new role. So on November fifth, she was spotted on the set of an upcoming Amazon MGM studio film, Close Personal Friends, where she will play herself. The movie stars Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding from Crazy Recheations.

00:25:20

Oh, I love.

00:25:21

So Megan was on set today, and insider tells people. She has a small part. She seemed very relaxed and happy. She introduced herself to everyone. She was very sweet and down to earth. People She also reached out to a spokesperson for Megan for comment. The role that Megan's first return to acting since...

00:25:38

Try again.

00:25:39

The role marks Megan's first return to acting since royal life. She left her role on suits eight years ago after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry. The studio source tells The Sun that this is a massive moment for Megan. It signifies a return to doing what she truly loves. She's been swamped with offers, but this one felt right. It's Megan's way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set. Everyone involved is super excited and has been sworn to secrecy about her involvement. She is playing herself. Who's Jack Quaid?

00:26:06

I feel like he's Dennis Quaid's son. That's what I was just thinking as you said it, and I'm looking it up. But also, by the way, this just sounds like Megan Markle is making a cameo for five seconds in a show.

00:26:17

I know they're making it more than it is, but it is a really big deal for her to have agreed to it.

00:26:22

His parents are Dennis Quade and Meg Ryan.

00:26:25

Okay, Sly.

00:26:26

Okay, Netpo. Love.

00:26:27

Netpo, yeah. I love I love this. Jackie was the one who said it when we were talking about Megan's post-Royal life, and it's been a kerfuffle, and everything she does flops.

00:26:37

She's throwing a lot of shit at the wall to see what's going to stick.

00:26:39

Jackie was just like, She should go back to acting. That's what she's actually skilled at. I know she loves to cook, and these are her passions. Podcasting, I guess, is a passion of hers. Being a business founder is a passion. She doesn't have a natural talent for these things, but she is a highly trained, skilled actress. I just watched Suits for the first time. I know you watched them live. You did? I I did. It was not a COVID show. Was it a pregnancy show? No. Because I was watching it in my old apartment. I don't know. I was just bored.

00:27:06

I mean, you just moved.

00:27:08

No, sorry. I watched it in my old apartment.

00:27:12

Oh, right?

00:27:13

Yeah. Yeah. Did I? Okay, I watched it a while ago. Yeah. Well, I loved it. You know what? I was really surprised because everything she does now, she does so janky. Her podcast sucks. Her Netflix show is horrible. I was expecting her role on Suits to be horrible. She was incredible. That show, when I watched, she changed my entire perspective. It made me love her. Jackie was right. She should just return to acting. You make a lot of money. She would be very desirable. Oh, for sure. People would really want to work with her.

00:27:45

She wouldn't have to audition. She would just get offers.

00:27:48

I don't know why she's been so reluctant. She's trying a million things before she tries the thing that she's born to do.

00:27:54

I would immediately think that it's being scared of the criticism, but it's like she gets critiqued if she farts, so it doesn't matter.

00:28:00

She gets criticism anyway for things she's bad at. Do the thing you're really good at. She worked her whole life to become an actress, and then she got this huge show. She's very experienced.

00:28:10

I don't know. I don't know. Maybe she's making a comeback. Didn't they also talk about, did I make this Did you remember that they were doing a Suits reboot?

00:28:17

Yeah, but it was a little misleading. It's not a reboot. It was Suits LA.

00:28:22

Oh, that's so smart.

00:28:24

It's like Harvey's... Was it supposed to be in New York?

00:28:28

It was Suits New York? Well, no, Suits was in New York. Well, no.

00:28:31

No, but they filmed in Toronto. If you know New York, that was not New York.

00:28:35

No, sorry. Yeah, of course. But I'm saying it was based in New York. It was set. Yeah.

00:28:39

I think it's like Harvey's firm, but he's not a part of it. He's in the first two episodes, and I think it failed.

00:28:45

The show already came out. It already came out? Oh, I didn't know that. Also, what they should have done at the time is that. At the time when it was popping off, what they did with CSI and NCIS. Like franchise it. Franchize it. I don't know why they didn't do that.

00:28:59

Who was your Suits was so good. Who was your favorite character?

00:29:02

Harvey. I loved Harvey. And also, sorry, Louis Lit.

00:29:06

Yeah, okay. There's a lot of people. Harvey's obviously the favorite because he's so hot and low-key Jewish.

00:29:11

Jewish Gabriel Macht.

00:29:13

In the most low-key way, Harvey's Jewish. So yeah, he's the most obvious person to be your favorite. But Lewis, also Jewish.

00:29:21

Yeah, king.

00:29:22

But obviously.

00:29:23

Also love Donna.

00:29:25

Also Donna.

00:29:26

Yeah.

00:29:27

Now, the show lost me when they started The Donna. Do you remember that plot line?

00:29:31

No. What was it?

00:29:33

They were obviously getting...

00:29:35

Scraping the bottom of the barrel.

00:29:36

Scraping the bottom of the barrel for plot lines. Donna didn't want to be an assistant anymore because she had this great idea to start a tech product called The Donna, where it's a Palm Pilot personal assistant. It was so stupid. Me and Ben looked at each other and we were like, Oh, it's time for us to quit this show. I never finished it. So I actually never got to the point where Megan Markel leaves.

00:29:55

I don't know if I ever finished it either, by the way.

00:29:57

It's a show that's not meant to be finished.

00:29:59

Yeah. Also, there are a lot of shows that I've just never finished.

00:30:04

I knew what you're about to say. One of the craziest things about Margot is she very late in life watched Friends, which I loved that journey, and she never watched the last episode. You watched up until the last episode? Yes. That is so weird of you. Can I tell you what happens?

00:30:17

I know what happens. She gets off the plane.

00:30:19

Okay, that's good.

00:30:21

Because I don't like things ending. It makes me sad. If I don't watch it, it doesn't happen.

00:30:26

I don't know if I've ever said this out loud, and I'm actually deeply ashamed, and I don't want to say it.

00:30:31

What?

00:30:32

I have never seen the last season.

00:30:36

Of Glee. Of Glee. Me neither. Me neither.

00:30:39

I have rewatched Glee itself.

00:30:44

Me too.

00:30:44

Maybe five times.

00:30:46

But then I get to the quarterback episode and I can't watch anymore.

00:30:48

No, and I can make it past the... I have the same experience every time. They're living in New York and the episodes are just getting worse and worse and worse, and I just fizzle out at the exact same time.

00:30:56

Yeah, and also because you don't care about anybody who's at Lima Heights.

00:31:00

You need to seriously put me in a strait jacket in order to get me to watch it. I can't.

00:31:05

No, I can't. I think about that all the time. But by the way, there's so many shows that I just never finish. I don't think I ever actually finish Scandal.

00:31:13

I never seen one minute of Scandal. Claudia. Would I like it? Claudia.

00:31:17

Claudia, you would love it. You would really love it.

00:31:20

I see a lot of hate for it. Like, Kerry Washington is just crying the whole time.

00:31:23

No, she's not crying. But also rewatching it as an adult is so interesting because I'm like, Oh, my frontal lobe has developed this This is toxic. Why are you so mean?

00:31:31

But I got it.

00:31:32

I think that you would enjoy it. But also, I love president shows.

00:31:38

Do you watch Veep?

00:31:39

No.

00:31:40

Okay, it's not a president show because I know what you're saying. You have a I have a very specific taste in TV, and the only way I can describe it is Olivia. Is Olivia. You guys watch... No, you know what it is? I said this to Ben, and this is the perfect example of shows you watch. Do you ever watch Entourage?

00:31:57

No.

00:31:58

Okay, so Vinnie Chase is the star. He's this big hot actor, like a Miles Teller. Yes.

00:32:03

Yeah.

00:32:03

He has a brother who's also in the industry. His name is Johnny Chase in the show, and he cannot get arrested, Margot. He was on one successful show 20 years ago, and he goes to like, Comic Con every year to talk to the people who love the show. He's like a big loser, and he gets a job in the middle of the show on a show called Five Towns. It's like an NBC crime show. That's literally the genre of show that Margot and Olivia are obsessed It's these NBC, these cable shows that nobody watches.

00:32:34

No, they watch it.

00:32:35

Sorry, that nobody's heard of, but that everybody watches.

00:32:39

Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, all the meds. The Blacklist.

00:32:43

The Blacklist is what I think of when I think of you and Olivia's taste in movies and TV.

00:32:48

As you should. As you should, yeah. We loved that show.

00:32:50

How did we get here? Oh, shows we've never finished.

00:32:52

Yeah, shows we've never finished.

00:32:53

What else have you finished?

00:32:54

I feel like so many things. No, I finished The Océ. I finished The Océ for I just rewatched Gossip Girl with Ben, and then we were looking for something of the same energy, so we watched The Océ.

00:33:05

Yeah.

00:33:06

Don't say it.

00:33:07

The Océ is one of the worst shows ever made. It's insane. I was pregnant, so I was really looking for something with a lot of seasons. What a piece of shit. I couldn't even finish season one. It is the worst show on the planet. That's crazy. Ryan. That's crazy. Ryan is yucky.

00:33:26

That's crazy to say about season one. Marta was obsessed. About season No, you guys, I had a vision board of Misha Barton and her kids campaign.

00:33:34

Margot was a fucking sessed with the Oasis, specifically Misha Barton.

00:33:37

Oh, my God. That was your girl. That was what I feel like Misha Barton during that era is what I aim to look like now. I'm not really accomplishing it, but that's truly a style inspo forever. Queen loved her. Loved her. But yeah, no, I won't lie. Like, yes, seasons three and four. I mean, there were so many rogue ass- We're not the best. Just whatever.

00:34:00

But you know what I think you should rewatch?

00:34:02

Nana 2 & No.

00:34:04

What? I feel like that also wouldn't age well, honestly. You think? Nana 2 & No was so good.

00:34:10

So good. Anna Lynn McClona, queen.

00:34:12

Just really quickly, back to this People magazine thing, I just want to say I absolutely love this. I would love to see Megan Markel acting more. That's what I want to see more of from her. Nothing she's doing is good. Start over and just go back to basics. Agreed. Next up. I wouldn't normally choose a story, but I chose it for you because it's just like Taylor Swift and Travis were spotted out, but there's so much here. Taylor and Travis were spotted in New York. He's having a buy week, so he doesn't have a game. I guess New York is where they choose to go, which I find interesting, just baseline. They have houses everywhere.

00:34:43

They've chosen to be in New York. You would think it would be like Nashville.

00:34:45

Yeah, New York is the most chaotic of the places where she lives. They both were black. She went to Polo Bar.

00:34:54

I saw that. I saw that.

00:34:56

Which I just thought was really interesting. Now, obviously, it's not shocking. Polo Bar is the fanciest, hardest reservation to get. But did you see the people outside?

00:35:04

No.

00:35:04

There must have been 200 people standing outside.

00:35:07

Oh, my God.

00:35:08

People are always where they are, but I don't think they were expecting that. It was insane.

00:35:12

That's insane. No, honestly, every single time that I see if she's with a friend or she's with Travis, I don't care about anything besides. I'm like, Where did they go? Me, too. That's the only thing I look for.

00:35:22

That's why I wanted to bring it up because she was also in New York. She went out to dinner at Zero Bond. Then she also went to Shay Margot. You're our cool New York City person. I don't leave the house anymore, unfortunately. I used to be cool, and I used to know what was cool. Tell us, what's Shay Margot, Sachi?

00:35:40

Right now, I would say New York is so membership club central.

00:35:45

That's a good thing. You can't go to a restaurant anymore. It has to be a private members club.

00:35:49

That's what going out is. It's not really going to a club. It's going to these membership clubs. There's Shay Margot, there's San Vicente Bungalows, there's- I've been. Yeah, there's Casa Chippreya, Criani.

00:36:00

There's Crane.

00:36:01

Crane Club, there's- I've been.

00:36:03

Yeah, I'm cool.

00:36:04

There's the 22, there's Casa Tua. There's so many more. There's a million. And Zerobon was the Ogie.

00:36:14

Zerobon was the It's an O-G one for sure.

00:36:18

It has run its course, mainly because it's just having a hard time, I would say keeping up with everything that's popping up because like, Zerobon- But now that Taylor went, I feel like it's going to make a comeback. I wonder. I cancel my membership, so I I hope not.

00:36:30

Hopefully not.

00:36:31

But only because Zerban was amazing for what it was, but there wasn't variety. It was literally just one room where you would go, whereas all these other clubs have a dining room, a lounge, a rooftop, a bar, a club downstairs. You get your bang for your buck because they're pretty expensive.

00:36:47

I just want to say I still like Zerobon. One thing about me, I'm a traditionalist. You guys can go out. I'm going to the OG place, and thankfully, now I can get a table.

00:36:56

Right. But that was what Soho House was, and then look at it now.

00:36:59

I She just read an interesting article about Soho House because Soho House is actually the original. They invented this whole thing, this members club thing. It used to be really exclusive. Then it's a huge company. I think they ended up going public. They have locations all over the world. And they're not considered They're not considered exclusive anymore, especially in New York, in the scene of... It's actually considered extremely loser-y to go. I read an article that they're mad about their reputation. They started to kick people out. They want to become really exclusive. They're literally taking memberships away from people.

00:37:26

By the way, by all means, they should. Also, by the way, there are Soho house in different cities is still great. The one- Very cool, yes. Was the English countryside? Yes. That's incredible. I think people love it in Miami because it's on the beach.

00:37:39

Yeah, the Soho Beach house is great. I stayed at the one in Austin. I think people like it. I don't like it. But I'm talking about in New York, specifically. In New York. They have no cachet. They're not considered cool. It's actually considered like, losery to go. I just read this really cool article that they're literally kicking people out.

00:37:57

But by the way, that's what you have to do. It is a tough industry out there, and everyone is making a membership club. I hear about a different one every day, and I'm just like,. No, literally, the Toast Membership Club. It's a great name. But it's really hard to keep up. Also, it's so hard because then it's like, if you want to go out with all of your friends, it's like, well, who's a member here and how many guests you get? How many people can you bring? It's really actually pretty difficult.

00:38:20

It is. Back in the day, not to be a grandma, but it used to just be a little bit more fun. We could all meet up and go here.

00:38:26

It wasn't that serious. You could just like, Let's all go to ACME. You know what it never was. That serious. Yeah, now it's so serious.

00:38:33

Now, Taylor wore big man pants and a boat neck shirt. It's actually insane to me.

00:38:39

What's a big man pant? Like a trouser?

00:38:41

A big gray trouser. It's insane Tell me how allergic she is to slang in the fashion department. One thing I love about Taylor is the people she surrounds herself with are the same people she's always had. Her band, from the time she's 16, is the same guitar. You could look at pictures of her throughout her life. She's the same people around her. I think that really speaks to- The type of person. Her loyalty, the type of person she is. I think it's one of her best attributes. Having said that, the stylist has to go. It's the same guy since she's 16. He's awful. Awful. People disagree on Taylor, her music, but what's something everything agrees on is the fact that her clothes are just terrible.

00:39:19

But I feel like it's a strategy at this point.

00:39:21

It keeps her relatable because everything else about her is unrelatable.

00:39:24

It keeps her relatable because also it would be so fucking easy for her to slay.

00:39:29

She's 6 foot tall and skinny as a needle.

00:39:31

And has so much money.

00:39:33

Margot, it's awful. What is it? Honestly, you saying it's strategic is the only thing it could be.

00:39:40

That's the only logical thing unless she actually thinks these outfits are cute.

00:39:47

Well, then there's just an issue.

00:39:48

Then there's just an issue.

00:39:49

All of her friends are supermodels.

00:39:51

Imagine if La Roche got his hands on her.

00:39:55

Literally anyone, Danny Michelle, Style Me Maeve, literally me, anyone. That girl on Instagram who has the Instagram account, You belong in this. She should style Taylor.

00:40:04

And by the way, you know for sure Taylor has seen that account. So she knows it's part of the father.

00:40:08

Well, I don't know. Taylor on New Heights was saying that- She's chronically offline. Offline. Although sometimes she says things and writes stuff that only a chronically online person would say or know.

00:40:18

Right.

00:40:19

I don't know.

00:40:20

No, that's true.

00:40:22

Well, the remainder of today's episode is brought to you by eBay. Tell me if I'm not alone here, toaster, shopping used to feel more fun before the algorithm fed blah and the endless sea of dupes. But I have a confession. I really have found that fun feeling again, and I found it on eBay. Because on eBay, it's not just shopping. It's a full on fashion pursuit. When you find the thing, the adrenaline really hits. When you score a rare Adidas collab that's lived on your mood board or the Dior saddle bag that you ripped out of a magazine in 2007 and never got over. Or something like the Cécile Bacin GT 2160s that sold out in five seconds. Well, it's about the thrill of finding pieces that feel like you, and you want to find pieces that feel like you, and there's always to discover, eBay has millions of preloved finds from hundreds of brands, backed by eBay's authenticity, Guadante. So eBay, it's simple. It's things people love. And for the fashionistas listening, if you want that unique, not like other girls' piece, it's only going to be found at eBay. Today's episode of The Toast is brought to you by Hillhouse Home.

00:41:20

They have invented the viral nap dress, which is the most flattering and comfortable fit with their signature smocking. So celebrities all over the world, everyone wears the Hillhouse dress. And for a while, I was I was like, Oh, I can't wear that. I don't know why I was just like, No, I can't. Jackie made me wear one. It is all I wear. It is keeping my postpartum body alive. It also was keeping my pregnancy body alive. But also, young, hot things like Sachi wear. They also have such cute kids' stuff.

00:41:44

They have really cute stuff.

00:41:46

They have really cute stuff. You can get matching dresses. Olivia Mikaela keep matching. It's so cute. Their commitment to just being pargy and their esthetic is very cleany, very feminine, very twal, but so comfortable. They also have different categories. Obviously, the nap dresses, but do not sleep on their pajamas and their robes. I have the best robe from Hill House. Also, Ben wore my robe the other day. I was like, get... He wore my Hill House robe. I was like, Get out of here.

00:42:14

Ben It's so funny.

00:42:15

Insane. Don't forget Hillhouse Kids. We love their matching little dresses that you can wear with adults. So cute. And get 15% off your order of $100 or more at hillhousehome. Com. 00:42:39

Zaka.

00:42:40

Zaka. Today's episode is also brought to you by Prolon. If you've been on a GLP-1 for a weight loss, you may have seen results, but coming off the medication can be a challenge. The five-day Mimicking Fast program from Prolon offers a drug-free way to keep the weight off while protecting muscle and supporting fat loss. In just five days, Prolon activates the same fat burning and cellular rejuvenation benefits triggered by fasting, all without having to actually give up food, helping you maintain your hard-earned progress. Prolon's five-day Fasting Mimicking Diet is really a party way to support long-term metabolic health. In just five days, you can activate Fasting pathways to burn fat, protect muscle, and rejuvenate cells, all while still letting you enjoy real food. Obviously, everyone knows the benefits to fasting, but it takes an insane person to actually not eat or drink, and I'm not down for that. Prolon is a diet... Not diet, it's a program that mimics all the benefits. It's going to trick your cells into thinking that you're fasting, but you're still having snacks, drinking soups. It's a plant-based nutrition program that has soups, snacks, and beverages designed to nourish the body while keeping it in a state of fasting.

00:44:27

Tell us.

00:44:28

I'm working on it. Minkie Couture. Oh, my God.

00:44:32

My favorite. I love Minkie.

00:44:34

I just got two new items from Minkie Couture, actually.

00:44:36

I just placed a new order.

00:44:37

You will never buy another blanket if you have a Minkie Couture blanket. Their blankets are so soft and luxurious. They're the trendy blankets that you're seeing online. It's called They invented that blanket. Everyone's copying them, by the way.

00:44:47

Everyone is copying them.

00:44:48

They invented the Ogie original Hugs blanket. You will never have a blanket that feels like this. I remember Jackie got a Minkie Couture first, and she was like, You have to get this blanket. I'm like, Well, it's a blanket. How different could it be? I I have never felt a blanket like this, and I will never purchase another blanket.

00:45:03

I'm staring at one right now.

00:45:06

I have three in the studio. Romeo loves, Ruby loves, and they have tons of different sizes, so you can get one for your kid's bed. They have a baby one that I personally use for the dog crate. Dogs love it. Everyone loves it. It's literally the best blanket. So many different colors, so many different sizes. And you know they have a new size. They used to have the Grande, which was their biggest one. Fits on a king bed. They have a new one.

00:45:28

Bigger?

00:45:30

It is enormous. I love it. It's the best blanket ever. Follow them on Instagram at Minkie Couture. They also have a great program. They're really passionate about giving back. So they've donated over 30,000 mini Minkies to Niko's across the country, which is just... Sorry, I'm obsessed. It's a female-founded brand. They do good work. Their product is the best shit on the planet.

00:45:48

Yeah, no.

00:45:49

I could not be more obsessed with Minkie. I literally give them to everyone. It's the best gift. Visit softminkeablankets. Com. Our code is toast at checkout for 50% off all full-price blankets. That's softminkeablankets. Com. Our code is toast for 50% off all full-price blankets. Probably the brand I'm most passionate about. Yeah. Okay. Are you ready for our fourth story?

00:46:08

Yes, I am.

00:46:10

I've chosen it because it's about cool Gen Z girls, but also you're very close to this story. Book Sinater has revealed every cosmetics procedure she's tried. She said, Catch me looking like Freddy Kruger. Now, Saatchi was on the Book Sinater show. I love that name. I was. A lot of people spotted you. I was. You've actually seen her in person. Yes. Now, there She actually has a lot of talk about her work and her changing face, and I would normally never talk about it, but she's talking about it, so I feel like she's opened the door. She's also talking about what people say about her. She's not afraid of nip talk. In a new interview with Bustle, she very candidly shared a list of all the cosmetic procedures she's tried so far, from countless injectables to even a nose job. She quipped, People say I look like Michael Jackson. She's divulged that she has a pricey set of veneers from star dentist Dr. Michael Appa, who typically charges upwards of $50,000 for a full makeover. However, she reveals that she got her smile for free in exchange for an Instagram post.

00:47:04

Love that.

00:47:05

I love how open she's being. She's also tried the viral salmon sperm facial, as well as the nefertilli Botox neck lift. Every Christmas, you can catch me looking like Freddy Kruger, the star, joked of her fondness for such little tweaks. She also talked about how she turned to GLP-1s to secure modeling gigs. First of all, I love Brooks and She's one of my favorite people on the planet. It's really interesting how, clearly, because you can see her and her sisters, they're extremely naturally beautiful. It's crazy. I know people give her shit for it, but it's actually crazy how being naturally insanely beautiful isn't enough to become a supermodel.

00:47:48

No.

00:47:49

You have to also be on GLP ones. You have to also get a no-job. Because right now, she's the most successful model on the planet. I know at work, you work with her for a lot of your brands. It's insane that just the The way that she looks normally wouldn't be enough to become the model that she is today.

00:48:04

No, I agree.

00:48:05

I feel sick.

00:48:06

It's so crazy. I seriously think that she is so fucking it. Me too. She is so it. She is so beautiful, all that. But she's so fucking funny. Yeah, her personality. When's the last time we had a model with a personality?

00:48:20

I know, and I'm sure that they do have personalities, but we're just not interested.

00:48:23

Sorry, that's where they show the personality. Right. It's so rare.

00:48:27

Rookes is everything to me. I do want to say, I think she's so beautiful, and I love it. If she has to be nipping and tucking to be this beautiful, then that's what it is. But I do feel like she's really close. She's on the edge of taking it too far. I just want her to pull it back a little bit. But I know she's getting older, and that makes you... I feel like- Sometimes you get plastic surgery, face blindness, where you don't know that you've taken it too far. I hope that her sister will keep her just being like, Listen, you look great, but you're on the break. Did you see she tied her hair back to brown for her Halloween costume, which was She's such a good costume?

00:49:01

I know. She looks insane. Yes, I like her better as a brunette.

00:49:04

Me too. I think the blonde is fun, for sure. But I think in terms of modeling, she looks way younger and just better as a brunette.

00:49:13

No, by the way, I agree. I do think her family and her parents, I feel like, are so normal. I also feel like now that she's getting the success, I feel like that she's always wanted. I think that she'll hold steady.

00:49:28

I mean, I hope so. It's just It's a slippery slope. It's a slippery slope. Because you get more brands and you get more campaigns because you get more surgery.

00:49:35

So you think more surgery equals more campaigns.

00:49:38

Oh, it's working. Equals more campaigns.

00:49:39

Does she have a boob job? For sure.

00:49:41

Oh, yeah, I guess. I fucking love her.

00:49:43

No, I love her. I think she's Everything she does. I also feel like she's similar to Alex Earle. I feel like she has... Well, I know what she does, the craziest work ethic.

00:49:52

Yes. You saw that in the show, her missing Grace Anne's Losery birthday party.

00:49:55

Yeah. I think, what did she do? She was posting something on her Instagram. Halloween. Yeah. Or she flew in. I think got there at 3: 00 AM, had a shoot, was on set at 6: 00 AM, and just does a full eight-hour shoot, and then goes about her.

00:50:10

No, she's a hustler. That definitely came through on the show. I remember thinking that I thought it was a weird move for her to do the show because it's like, you're a model. I just didn't get it. Now I really get it because she's just ooosing with personality. That gets lost as a model. Nobody really cares about what you have to say. They're there to use your face, and that's it.

00:50:30

For sure. She was also prepared to do a reality show in the way it needs to be done. She put her entire- Brookhausy. Brookhausy. I'm not going to say it. I know. Brookhausy into the show. She really opened up. Also, similarly, not to compare, because I don't think it's a comparison, but the Kolpo Sisters, their show was great, but it was very like, they weren't doing this.

00:50:54

They were not opening up as much.

00:50:56

Exactly. I think that's what the Kardashian did.

00:50:59

That's the key. They just open, spread their legs. That's the key.

00:51:02

And not ever do it. By the way, we could never. I would never. We could never.

00:51:07

Also, just a fun fact that I wanted to brag about is that I'm on Berksnader's close friend story. You are? Yeah. Let me tell you, it's an amazing place to be. I'm not going to tell you guys what's on it.

00:51:19

Wait, by the way, I didn't even know that.

00:51:21

I will never, ever snitch. I do not want to be taken off.

00:51:26

It's amazing. Oh, my God. Berksnader, can you follow me back? We're friends.

00:51:30

You think she's interesting? Just wait till you're on her close friend story.

00:51:33

Well, first I need the follow back, and then maybe I can get close friends.

00:51:37

Our fifth and final story is a little fashion news. Kind of crazy is that Olivier Rousteillag has exited Balmain.

00:51:43

It's a big story he's going.

00:51:45

He has stepped down as creative director of Balmain after 14 years, the Balman house announced today. The news closes one of the longest, most disruptive and publicly visible designer tenures in the 21st century of fashion. He said, I'm deeply proud of all that I've accomplished and profoundly grateful to my exceptional team at Balman, my chosen family, in a place that has been my home for the last 14 years. My thanks go to Mr. Rachid, Mohamed Rachid and Mateos Skarbosa for their unwavering belief in me, for entrusting me with this extraordinary opportunity as I look ahead to the future and to the next chapter of my creative journey. I feel like everything's being really shaken up. In fashion right now, there's a new creative director at Chanel. Everybody's moving around. The guy left Balenciaga. He's going somewhere else. It makes sense because Olivia is very sought after. This is what happens. People, you get to the head and you bop around.

00:52:33

Yeah.

00:52:35

But it reminded me of just that era.

00:52:39

Oh, my God. That era. I have so many Balmain dresses from that era.

00:52:44

The way Kim- Kim. Kim. Really? It was Olivia and Kim. I don't know if she was technically his muse.

00:52:52

I think she might have been. She must have been.

00:52:54

The way... I'm sure the brand existed before Kim. I had never heard of it.

00:52:57

No, it obviously existed, but not in this way. I also think it was 14 years ago. When Olivia got assumed the role, I think the first thing he did was Kim.

00:53:07

It was the '80s. You had to be the Blazers.

00:53:12

Oh, the Blazers.

00:53:13

That became like a Birkin. If you had a Balmain Blazer with the big gold buttons and the shoulder pads and the fitted ways.

00:53:20

But by the way, not even that. The body condresses shoulder pads, bedazzle to the gods. Also the classic Balmain like Stripe.

00:53:29

Margot wore a Balmain dress to prom.

00:53:31

Yeah. You look sick. Oh, my God. I still wear that dress.

00:53:35

Wait, hold on. Did my rat post go through? I just need to make sure.

00:53:38

Oh, did it?

00:53:39

Speaking of Margot. No, fucking Instagram is trying to silence me.

00:53:43

Oh, my God.

00:53:44

It's really annoying.

00:53:46

Yeah, no. I still have that dress, and I still wear it. I still wear those dresses, by the way. They also really last a lifetime, I got to say. No.

00:53:53

I don't know where he's going to go, and I'm sure he'll make as much noise as But we had to just honor that moment. Balmain fell off a little bit. Obviously, you can't say at the top- I was going to say I feel as though he peaked. What brand do you think right now is the brand of the moment?

00:54:12

Oh, my God.

00:54:14

I feel like they really all go in waves. Lv had such a moment, but it's also like...

00:54:17

Right now, I don't think it's those big brands. I think it's Kate. I think it's The Row.

00:54:22

What about Miu Miu?

00:54:24

Miu Miu, I think, is on its way down.

00:54:28

Yeah, it peaked last year.

00:54:29

It peaked last I think it's more of these elevated classics.

00:54:35

Casual, not logo.

00:54:36

Yeah, not logo. Yeah, that's what I think. I feel like there's one I'm absolutely just forgetting about. But I would say those types are the ones I feel like people are wearing/investing in.

00:54:52

Love that.

00:54:53

Are you just focusing on your rat?

00:54:55

Yeah. Did you watch Dancing with the Stars?

00:54:58

On my phone?

00:54:59

Oh, Right. Never mind.

00:55:01

You're such a fake fan. No, but by the way, now you agree Andy has to go home?

00:55:06

It's time.

00:55:07

It's time. I'm not mad that Danielle went home. I was going to say, Are you mad that Danielle went home?

00:55:11

No, she stinks and he stinks. So one of them was going home this week, and one of them was going home next week. So I don't care who went home first.

00:55:19

What are your thoughts on the supposed Whitney Jen drama beef?

00:55:23

I think it's being blown up for the show. If you watch, you watch Secret Lives?

00:55:28

Yes.

00:55:30

You know, the drama is so, not fake, but blown up and then moving on the next day. So I can't get too lost in this.

00:55:36

Yeah, no idea.

00:55:37

I imagine that there was beef, but not beef. It's hard not to be competitive. Jen was in such a different place. Whitney's the biggest... It's just unfair.

00:55:46

Yeah.

00:55:46

I don't know.

00:55:48

But who do you think is going to win?

00:55:51

Alex.

00:55:52

Yeah.

00:55:53

Same. Right now, because you know what I said to Ben yesterday? Sorry to repeat myself, guys, but she is improving so much. Whitney Whitney has ballroom training, so she's just as good now as she was at the start. Alex was just a regular girl. I know she's a little bit of a dance background. She was a good dancer. Now, I feel like two weeks ago, Halloween, she really stepped her pussy up. Oh, my rat thing posted.

00:56:12

Great. Oh, my God.

00:56:13

I feel like she's showing a lot of improvement, which is exactly what you want on the show. They don't like people who just- That's the whole point. I'm sorry. That's why Andy is still on. He's improving. Now, last week, he stunk it up and gave us nothing and kept messing up. So, yeah, it was time.

00:56:29

Also, Also, Flav a Flav accidentally giving Alex a nine instead of a 10.

00:56:33

Are you kidding? I saw her being interviewed about it, and I actually really appreciated the way she did not care. Yes, she was very close to being the first person who got a perfect score, but the three real judges each gave her 10s, and to me, that's considered a perfect score. I agree. I like the Flav or Flav. Yeah, he was messy and moronic, but the show sometimes feels so fucking serious. I'm glad they brought this person who couldn't figure out- But also, who is he to judge? Yeah, the selection was unique. So you got unique results.

00:57:03

He has an incredible management team because I don't know how... He hasn't done anything in the past 20... Since what was the show called? Life of Flavor? Flavor of Flavor of Love. Flavor of Love. We loved that show, by the way.

00:57:17

Flavor of Love was the best show ever made. I didn't know him. He was chosen for that show because he was this big musician. To me, he was just a reality star.

00:57:26

To me, he was a reality star.

00:57:27

I still, to this day, don't know a singular Flavor of Flavor of Love. I know Flavor of Love, and I know him as a Swift, and that's all I want to know.

00:57:33

Who was the girl on Flavor of Love? That like, Pumpkin.

00:57:38

No, that's not- Or Tiffany Pollard.

00:57:40

Tiffany Pollard.

00:57:41

Yeah. Well, her moment, the reason why she's so famous is because she got into a physical altercation with Pumpkin. She spit on Pumpkin. Or Pumpkin spit on her. Pumpkin spit on her. She pumpkin started it. Pumpkin spit on her. And then Tiffany Pollard was like, Bitch, get out of here. It is, and they both were obsessed with Flavor. Have those two reunited? I don't I think pumpkin is out of the spotlight now.

00:58:03

Oh, yeah, no. Wow. Your memory's insane when it comes to those things.

00:58:06

Certain things shaped me as a young woman, and that was one of them.

00:58:11

Yeah, for sure.

00:58:13

Sachi Lou, this will not be your last time on the toast, but I want to thank you for your unwavering support, and we will see you until next time. Until then, tell everyone where they can find you.

00:58:21

Everyone can find me at Margoshre and all platforms after the last time where I begged everyone for likes on my ads. You guys have really been doing so good for me. That's so nice. Thank you so much I really, really, really appreciate it.

00:58:31

Like she said, she loves revenue.

00:58:33

I love revenue. I want them to keep coming back. So, yeah. Love you guys.

00:58:39
