We need some distance. You're seriously looking into my ass. Hey, Cargie. You're good at making eye contact. I've always said, even though I haven't held a traditional job in many, many years, that the next time I have a job at Aerie, which God willing is never, if somebody says, the classic interview question, what's your biggest weakness? And it's like, you want to be honest, but you don't want to be like, I suck. Yeah, I can't do any jobs. I think I have the perfect answer, and it actually is my greatest weakness. I cannot hold eye contact with other people. It makes me deeply uncomfortable.

I'm glad you agree that you can't do it. I thought you were about to be like, your strength is your eye contact.

No, I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about me.

No, your strength.

No, no, no. My greatest weakness is my inability to hold eye contact. I find it really uncomfortable. If you watch a podcast, I'm always looking up. I'm telling a story and I'm looking at the ceiling. Okay.

I don't think you should say that in an interview because I do think that's a red flag.

Oh, you think it's a bad weakness?

I think it's a weird thing. I understand why you don't want to maintain eye contact, and hopefully, you don't have to go on a job interview anytime soon.

Just to be clear, in this hypothetical scenario, if I am going on a job interview, that's what we need to be worried about because that means things didn't work out here, and that's bad.

I agree, but for future yourself, which, God willing, you know what I'm willing. I'm willing, Brookha Shambli and her. I think that's a really big weird thing to say. That's would be saying, I find people tasty. I like to eat people. It's like serial killer stuff.

But why would somebody say that? I find people tasty. Why did you say that? Is that a quote? No. I find people tasty.

Someone who can't make eye contact chops people up and eats them.

Oh, okay. I guess. If I can't look someone in the eye, I also them tasty. But how could I allure them into eating them if I can't even look them in the eyes?

A problem for another day. But I just think that's not something that you should admit to someone who doesn't know you. Like me, I love you. You want to look at me? Don't look at me. Look away. Don't look at me. That's fine. I'm literally doing it. I love to look up.

I do. I'm always talking to the Lord. I'm always looking up.

I understand. I'll look here, there, look at ever. I won't look at you too hard, and I wasn't looking at you in any way.

No, when we first started the show, you were definitely giving me- I was definitely maintaining eye contact. You looked at me like I was tasty.

That's a weird thing to do. I just wanted to say, having good eye contact is weirder than having bad eye contact. I don't know if in the comments, do you agree?

They were really good.

They were really good. I've been trying to eat a lot of protein to stave off endless snacking. And it does help when I eat a lot of protein. So that's what I've been up to. Just thinking of ways to eat real protein, in addition to protein chips. Bars, yeah. But that's not what I'm talking about. I need to find ways to eat more meat, eggs.

You know what you should do? You should go on the Weight Watchers nursing program because ground chicken, ground beef is zero point. You can literally eat as much of it as you want.

I have to look into it. Same with eggs.

I think that's a zero point food.

She said, I have to do Weight Watchers, and I have to watch my weight. That's what she said.

Yeah. Who doesn't? Everyone has to watch your weight.

She said, I should do Weight Watchers. I just want you guys to remember that the next time I say anything mildly offensive to her.

Was that offensive? I said, I did the Weight Watchers nursing program. I didn't lose any weight. I certainly did not watch my weight. I just tried not to get enormous.

You did? Yeah. What'd you eat?

On the Weight Watchers nursing program? I'm a volume either. Who did the WNP? Especially when... You're a volume eater. No, especially when you're breastfeeding, it's just about how much you can take in in a given period of time. And so that's why I was eating a lot of taco meat, which is zero points. If you get a lean ground beef or lean ground turkey. Anything with ground.

We love ground.

What do people eat before the ground?

Well, they eat ground. Before the ground machine? You can grind without a machine.

I guess you can.

People like breast, of course, as do we.

I love breast.

Leg and thigh.

I don't love leg and thigh. I'm exclusively white meat.

And a steak.

Oh, and to be clear on the Weight Watchers nursing program and just the Weight Watchers program in general, I'm pretty sure white meat is zero points, but darker meats that have more things going on, not zero points. Okay. I think.

What about a steak?

I love steak.

I make a nice steak. I haven't made steak for you yet. Do you want to come over for steak?

That's a poor reflection on you, not me.

Jackie took a Mahjong lesson at her neighbor's house. When I've been begging my bitch ass sister since I'm in high school, everyone is playing Mahjong now, and I just feel like it's worth mentioning that I've been playing since the eighth grade. Shout out to my best friend Alicia and her mom Esther, who taught us how to play. It was not a cool thing. We would sit around and play Mahjong and everybody thought we were weird. And now everyone's like, Mahjong How did I get here? Oh, yeah. And so when I learned how to play, I was so excited because it's a four person game. And what do I have at home? Three fucking sisters. I bought a square card table. I bought a set from Amazon. When I tell you, did we try once or we never tried? I don't remember. I feel It felt like we tried once, and it ended up in a fight. Nobody wanted to play. I was begging. The card table went unused. I believe we actually throughout the card table a couple of months ago.

I need to get a card table.

Well, I was toggling between just a foldable card table on Amazon.

Or an expensive game table.

Or there was a $3,000 one on the Scout I was buying.

I think you should get the- Partnership. Get the card table.

Which one? The foldable one. Yeah, but then I was... I wasn't going to get the fancy one. I can barely play. That's something I can treat myself to after a couple of wins under my belt, after I take all your money.

Yeah, Lameva is getting like, hella competitive with it. Good. That's the energy I've been begging you guys for.

We should play for money, and when I win, I can buy my card table.

Sure. That's a great idea. So then it's like a communal card table because we all paid for it. Yeah.

We need to get a game going before I forget everything I learned. Of course, I already have a pargy board, tiles and racks and stacks.

Ruby rolled. I told everybody on the page, I'm like, yeah, my baby's not rolling, and every other baby is starting to crawl. He rolled. Not a big deal. He sleeps on his stomach now. Rolls back, rolls forth. You need to roll forward? Oh, no problem. Oh, you need something behind me? I can get that, too. So It's not a big deal. If your baby's not rolling, he will. Don't worry.

Is it everything that you hoped it would be?

Yeah, it's amazing.

Does he enjoy? I mean, he never had a sleep problem.

Yeah, I think a lot of people wait for their babies to turn just so they can sleep on their stomach because they're not sleeping well. You know my king, 12-hour king. Never an issue. He'll sleep any which way. Yeah, and now it's just like you put him to bed on one side, boom. Sometimes I check the camera, I'm like, Are you even in there? He's in the corner. I literally didn't see him. It's just a little bit of a panic attack, but motherhood is beautiful.

That's very exciting. We're all very proud of him.

Yeah, it's It's been a big week for my family.

And he's just on his own time. He's like his mother in that sense. Yeah. More like his father.

I was going to say more like his aunt.

Not lickety split like his mama showing up early.

I was actually talking about this before we started. I don't know if people know this about me. I'm a chronically early person. To the point of borderline embarrassing, like, Don't you have a family? I am everywhere 20 minutes early.

Always- 20 minutes is a long time.

I allot 30 minutes to get anywhere. And in New York, it usually takes 15 to 20. Now I'm a commuter while I'm here, and it's not that serious. But I am always, always so early to the point where other people, when they're on time, I'm like, You're actually late. We've been here all day.

I was actually early today, whereas I'm usually on time/late.

Because you have a Velcro, baby.

Because I have a... Thank Thank you for understanding. I was still after you. I saw your car, and I was like, Oh, I have to get here early. I was just early today. Oh, you saw my car. I saw your car. I'm like, Bitch is still before me. I was early.

Previous career, it didn't work out. Can you explain this 11-year work gap?

Can you explain this gap in your career?

Yeah. I can.

Oh, sure. You know, business is a funny thing, Ms. Ashray. I'm sorry, Ms. Ashray. I know you have a Velcro in your head. And when I say, You're looking mighty tasty today. When When referring to my 11-year age gap, I feel as though... You should mind your own business. Oh, age gap. When referring to the 11-year gap in my resume, I started a business. And what makes me such a great candidate for this I take risks. I take risks, and I know failure. I wouldn't trust anybody who doesn't know failure. And as the great Taylor Swift once said, no one sees when you lose when you're playing solitaire. And that was me. But I guess I lost, and now everyone knows because I'm here interviewing for this job.

So you would say you were failing forward?

Yeah, and there's no shame in failing. Whilst pursuing your dreams. Correct.

And that's a good thing. You should have it. I was pursuing my dreams when I'm young. That's the time to do it. Correct. What would you say are your greatest strengths in the workplace?

Among my many strengths, of which there are many, I would say my greatest strength is my ability to manage time. I would say I'm a chronically online person. As my great, great, great grandmother once said- You're chronically online? Did I say that?

Brilliant slip.

Chronically on I'm also chronically online, and that's why you should hire me as your social media manager. But I am a chronically on time person, as my great, great grand once said. If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late. And if you're late, well, that's just unacceptable, dear.

And what's your biggest weakness?

As I'm sure you could surmise during this interview, I do really struggle to maintain direct, steady eye contact. It's something I'm very aware of and something that I actively work on in both my personal and professional life. But it is something that at times I do find challenging.

That was a good answer. Why do you think that is? To dig deeper.

It probably goes back to my childhood and never feeling fully accepted by my bitch older sister, if I'm being honest.

Yeah. Were you on the toast when her... No. She had her first song come out called Mature. I think it was Ben, and it was perfect because Ben's obsessed with Hilary Duff. We were really hyping it up because before it came out, Hilary Duff's back in music. She's done amazing music, and now she's married to this big time magazine editor, Matthew Comey, who's one of the biggest music producers in the world. There's no way this could be a bag song. There's no way could flop. We were so wrong because the song Mature that she put out was genuinely a bad song. Ai actually could have made a better song. For the second song, I had little to no hopes, and those hopes were met right where I was because the song is also really bad. But it also now has crazy lyrics. Mature did, too, had sexually explicit lyrics. This is a little bit more overt, and it's also referencing an iconic moment in pop culture herstry. So please go on.

She put out a snippet of the song where she's lip syncing to her own song, and In a field. These are the lyrics, and unfortunately, I'm going to have to read them now.

With Sexy Red or whatever. Your favorite artist. Bruno announced he's dropping new music. Oh, really? Yeah. I think at the end of this week, he has a new album called Romantic. I think it's called. And Lou Holmes. And Lou Holmes. That's his story. We'll talk about music at the end. But Hilary Duff's new song, Here are the lyrics. I only want the beginning. I don't want the end. I want the part where you say, God damn. Back of a dive bar giving you head. Then sneak home late, wake up your roommates. I want the highlights 10 out of 10, the butterflies from holding your hand before we swept us under the bed, and we practically became roommates. I'm touching myself by the front door, but you don't even look my way no more.

If you thought I had trouble making eye contact before, I literally can't look at you after that.

Okay, let's get into it. It has to be done in order for you guys to understand.

Here's the thing. If you're going to be very Very sexual in your music, a couple of things have to happen. So I'd like to bring up two examples of women being sexy and where I think that they've done it right and what the difference is. First, you can't be so overt, right? Sometimes you're going to be a little bit more subtle. It took me a while to realize that Hailey Steinfeld's amazing song, Love Myself, is actually a song about masturbation. It actually took me probably 100 listens before I realized. And you know what? That's good songwriting. It's innuendo, I believe the kids call it. And the song itself was so amazing that whatever she was saying, it wouldn't have Now, a more recent reference, Wood by Taylor Swift, which is a crazy song. His Love Was the Key That Opened My Thighs, right?

That's why you listen to the clean version. Yes. Normally- The clean version is actually better, and it goes to this sentiment.

Yes. But even so, even the non-clean version. The song is so good. I actually, I don't care. I'm able to look past the cringy lyrics. The first couple of times it was hard. The thing with Hilary Duff is she doesn't have that subtle thing here. It couldn't be more overt, and it sounds like one of the worst songs I've ever heard. It sounds like a fake song. Having said all of that, it's going to be no for me.

Additionally, I don't think this is a song put out by someone in their marriage because she's talking about the relationship going south. I'm sure she's talking about a classic theme that anyone can relate to. It's hypothetical. But I do also consider the artist. I don't want to... Unless you guys are getting divorced or you're telling me about your marital issues, I think that's weird to sing Yeah.

I think the weird thing here is that a seasoned pop star with hits under her belt in conjunction with a very seasoned music producer are unable to make anything happen. They're now two failed songs. And a lot of songs fail for a million reasons. Even good songs fail, right? It's the industry, TikTok, whatever. But this is just bad music. It's bad songwriting, it's bad beats, it's bad everything. And I'm shocked. That's the shocking part beyond the lyrics, of course.

These aren't the lyrics of a happily married woman. And I believe she's happily married. Her husband was just out here defending her. So it's like, you're singing about nonsense. Why not sing?

Why not be authentic? The year of authenticity? Why not speak your truth, Hilla? Or sing your truth?

Yeah. So that's for me, in addition to the fact that it's not subtle, it's very overt and crudy.

And also... I'm going to say one more thing. When it comes to women talking about sexiness, it applies to men, too. There are just certain people who do it better. When I think of Hilary Duff, I think of so many things. I don't think of one of the first adjectives as sexy. That's not who she's played. She's like, Girl Next Door vibes.

Even the video that she put out is not... Because you could say she's breaking free from Lizzie. She doesn't want to be raise your voice anymore, even though who would ever run from that? But even the video itself is not... The vibe of the video is not congolous with the vibe of the song.

I think that's also why Taylor Swift's wood was so hard for people to digest, because she is not historically sexy. She's a lot of things, good things. You can't be all things, right?

Someone who does it really well, I think, is the sexy woman of the sexy lyrics of a year. Let me think. Sexy woman. I'm actually shocked she hasn't come up yet because we always talk about her in this context.

Breener. Rina. Rina. Rina Carpenter is always singing about sex. Sometimes you know that, and sometimes you don't. These days, you know it too much, and that's where the issue lies in the most recent album. In general, I was just listening to Taste the Car, and it's actually when you read very much into the lyrics. It's a crazy song.

But she does it well. She does it well. And it's a combination of esthetic, the photos, even everyone was talking about the hair being held, the cover of her most recent album. That's her thing. Yes, that's a great example. Thank you for bringing that up. And so Hillary's just not that girl. And to pivot to it so overtly and so quickly, and it's not reading as authentic, maybe that wasn't one of her New Year's resolutions.

Yeah. And I just feel like she so successfully transitioned from child actress to- Musician to mom to actor. To actor, successful actress. What does putting out music now do for her?

I do find it interesting when people totally change lanes. For no reason. I feel like Ariana is doing that right now. She's obviously in Wicked, and now she's going to be in Meet the Fockers. Okay. Spencer Pratt is launching his campaign for LA mayor. One year after losing his home in the Wildfires, he says, We're going to expose the system.

If You've been following Spencer on social media for the last year since his home burned down. None of this is shocking because at first it was talking about him personally, his family, the house, Heidi's music. And then it became larger than the Pratz. I just want to say I love this. Actually, Spencer was the one who put me on to... Remember when I was talking about that fire aid? Yeah. That big festival that a lot of-Celebrities. Celebrities put on right after the fires to raise money. They $50 million for the fire victims, Billy Eilish, Dave Matthews, all these big people performed. It turns out none of that money went to any victim. Spencer was the one who put me on to this investigation that a local news station was doing about where the money went. It went to fake charities. It was really crazy. He's just been uncovering a lot of fraud.

Yeah, there's a lot of fraud in California, too, uncovered. He's also spent the last year railing against his mayor and his governor and all the people that failed LA during the fires. And so, yeah, the next logical step is like, Well, what about Right.

And so I think a lot of people are like, well, he has no experience. And it's just like, what's more experience than losing your home in a wildfire? Who's going to fight for the victims of LA more than a victim? You know?

Yeah, but there are other things running Are there?

Right now, that's all there is.

And he's running for the mayor of just LA, right? Not like the governor of California. So it's really specific to his hometown. Yeah. Oh, and he's born and bred in LA, right? Yeah.

No, he doesn't have experience, but it doesn't mean he can't learn. Sometimes experience is a good thing, but I think also that's how you get experience, right?

But I think in earnest, he wants to help his city and he wants to make it a great place to live. And I think he has all the right motivation. So I endorse his bid. There's always lots of celeb. Why do people know about the mayor of LA? We don't live in LA because celebrities are always taking stances and endorsing. All the celebrities endorse Rick Caruso, and he lost. But I've been seeing, he comes up on my TikTok a lot, doing a lot of podcasts.

Because he's part of the rebuilding of the Palisades. That's how... He's a businessman. He owns a bunch of real estate in the Palisades. So he's been talking about I don't know if he's running. I have to assume if he ran, he would win.

Yeah. Why? Well, because he lost, and the person he lost to was responsible for a lot of the damage in the wildfires. And the part of the LA that he was responsible for, Rick Caruso, in the Palestine, didn't burn down.

Yeah. He told a crowd on Wednesday when he launched his bid. He said, The system in Los Angeles isn't struggling. It's fundamentally broken. I guess so. I just didn't want to take the time to... Also, Zack took him to the vet, so I didn't have a full understanding. All I knew is that they wanted to charge me thousands for Bruna.

Yeah, Jackie's onto Big Pet.

You guys, Big Pet is out of control. If I wasn't onto them- It's just unfortunate that you are onto Big Pet with a pet who happens to have just a lot of random health issues. I know, but that's why I'm onto Big Pet. That's why it has to be me. You've seen the underbelly. But if it were up to Big Pet, I would have spent four grand on Bruno over the Christmas break. I was able to get the bill down to a couple hundred. Good, good, good. 200 max dollars. He wasn't able to keep one eye open for a few days. At first, I I would think he was being dramatic, and that would clear up on his own. But what actually happened was one night, he threw up in the middle of the night, and there was red in his throw up. So I was like, Oh, my baby can't keep an eye open. He's throwing up blood. Great. Time to go to the vet. Obviously, this is the end. You're right.

For RIP Buddha.

So we went to the vet, and they said, The eye thing is like an ulcer thing. They'll give him drops, and it'll heal up. He threw up last night. That was unrelated. I was like, Oh, the two things are unrelated, get out of there. I just thought it was a combo of disastrousness. And then upon reflection in the photos of the vomit, we concluded that it wasn't throw up. It wasn't blood. He probably just ate some strawberries.

Red die, number five. Yeah. Right.

So he wasn't throwing up, but it was just like, Bruno likes to throw up in the night. That's his favorite time to throw up. And he loves to do it on the rug when the hardwood is right there.

Okay, so that's like a universal dog thing. They have the courtesy to hop out of your bed to throw up. I think it's more comfortable for them. But just taking that one extra step onto the hardwood is too much.

He literally threw up in both corners of the rug, which was really special meant a lot to me and to Zack, who did clean it up. So he threw up normal because he likes to eat acorns in the backyard and then throw up in the the middle of the night. That's Bruno's thing. And his eye was just a little ulcer, which he needed drops for, and then he needed to wear a cone so that he wouldn'taw at the drops, because if he did, he could go blind.

Which I do feel like is Bruno's next era, the blind Bruno era. Think of the content.

I think Bruno needs a patch, first of all. And then I know people would say, Why didn't you get him the cozy cone? So I ordered Bruno a cozier cone because anything for my baby boy, and he could stillaw in himself. Then Margot came to my house and she was beside herself.

Like animal control.

She was beside herself that we would keep him in this cone. It's so big, like the injustice of it all. She took it upon herself to order him a cone. Again, it was not the right cone. Everyone can understand Bruno had to be in this huge cone, and that was Bruno's reality. Now, they did want me to get blood work for Bruno. Yeah. Just in case he was throwing up blood. Big pet. And I said, You know what? Let me see if he throws up again, and then we can order the blood.

He wasted the money. Yeah.

And he did not throw up again because I know my boy. They don't know Bruno. They see all these symptoms. They're like, Raising the alarm. I'm like, This is Bruno doing Bruno things. He has a new baby at home. Of course, he's going to try and go for some attention. Right.

Velcro I'm a Velcro baby.

Bruno is a Velcro baby. All my babies are Velcro babies. It's true. I love them.
