I fell down such a— fell down such a Fia rabbit hole. Like there's obviously a community of women who care as much about this as I do, and it's actually way worse, really. So there's two things. The first is that this, you know, incident, which they say they didn't know about, where they were like stealing money from like literally influencers— like if I give you an affiliate, they, their bug, like it was on iPhone only. So basically this little period of time was only over the course of the 2025 holiday season, which is like the highest time for online shopping. But also it was then they cut it off in like January 2026, and that's when they pitch all those investors, those celebrity investors, with those numbers. So like literally that's also fraud to your actors, like shopping around fake numbers. Yeah. So like, I wonder what Mindy Kaling, Alex Earl has to say about it, you know? Yeah, it's really crazy. And then also like, of course Alex Cooper's involved. So basically, tea— thank you to this girl who recapped it, I'm so sorry I forgot your name, but she did like a full— like she's like a real like tech founder content creator.

Basically, this woman who was like the president of Honey— you know Honey, the browser extension, which I love— also went through a little bit of a scandal where they were like stealing influencer affiliate links. Like, a bunch of influencers actually sued them, like a bunch of YouTubers. It's still an ongoing court case according to my TikTok recapper. But the woman who was the president of Honey at the time, um, she's now with Unwell, and she like introduced the burnouts, and like she was the reason why they had a podcast on. So like, literally all roads lead back to Alex Huber. Um, but like, they're saying it's very nefarious. She was there.

How do they know that?

It was a big headline, by the way, when that— when that Unwell executive was hired, because she's like this big way— her name is Joanna. I actually remember the headline about it. I'm like, oh, that's cool.

Like, but how do they know they introduced—

oh, um, I think it was like mentioned in an article. Like, it's not a secret.

Like, okay.

Oh, I'm sorry, and she's also on the board of FIA. Sorry, I forgot that. So she's on the board of FIA, she's the new president. Well, she connected them. So there's like a lot going on over there. It's, it's very interesting.

So because when I was thinking about it, I was like, this is just like a blip on the radar.

No, actually what the girl in my recap video said, not only it's like it's such a big deal, it's actually a bigger scam than what Honey went through. And Honey is still an active— yeah, because actually a judge threw out the YouTuber's claims being listen.

No, but also, if I remember correctly, with Honey, like, they would find you codes. So they would find influencer codes and actually—

okay, so what the, what the lawsuit was is that like this YouTuber realized, he was like, I'm sending people to an affiliate link, and if those people have the Honey browser extension and then also click like, yeah, sure, give me a code, the influencer's affiliate gets wiped out. Honey is the last person to affiliate. And so the judge was like, listen, that sucks, but the user is actively making the choice to click on Honey, so you're just kind of getting screwed. So the, the YouTubers who had sued are now suing again for just like not for money, but like for wrongful whatever.

They should have split commission.

Yeah, there should be something basically for everybody. She was explaining my TikTok recap, like whoever is the last tag on the link for affiliate, whether it's the influencer, whether it's Honey, whether it's FIA. But FIA, what they were doing was even worse because they were opening a second tab in the background and embedding it on your computer or your phone forever. Like it wasn't just this one purchase, it was like all future purchases on this website. So what my recapper was saying, like this is actually a worse scandal.

Oh, okay, so it's not just a small cookie.

Plus the defrauding of the investors, celebrity A-listers. That's really crazy. Oh, they started their big celebrity roundup like right after they had these stellar numbers from the holiday season.

Interesting that they stole them. Yeah, they stole their stellar numbers.

So we will keep you abreast as a leading news source on the Fia scandal. We will be keeping her foot on the neck, on the neck of female founders. As a female founder myself, I just expect more from my fellow female founders. There have been times where I have wanted to like buy podcast reviews or buy followers. Like, sorry, it's, it's a meritocracy out here. Like, if no one's using your— which I've heard also, it's a terrible browser extension from people who use it in earnest. They were like, they were never getting me what I wanted. It's like they're showing you where you can get this H&M shirt, like secondhand. It's like, well, I knew I could get this H&M shirt secondhand, but like, I wanted a new shirt.

So just like its functionality, I don't think it was like super helpful.

But as always, I tried to, you know, choose a wide range. Light, dark, AI, mother-in-law.

No, I laid in bed. Me and Ben, like, we talked. We were just like— we were talking the whole time about like how amazing it was that like we were not watching Love Island, and we just like were watching funny videos. Like, it was just like— it was one of the most amazing nights I've had in a while.

That's great. I did something crazy. I started a book. No, I'm already reading a book.

So I'm in the middle of the pilot and then Harry burst in and needed to see my bedside to turn the TV off. And I'm gonna give it grace because it's the pilot and I feel like they were trying to prove a point. They were trying to show how she is Elle. There were so many references to the movie that it was actually overkill. Overwhelming. And it was definitely a little corny. And it was hard because like Elle is not without fault, you know? Like Elle is with fault.

And in the movie she's actually without fault.

She's without fault.

She's a perfect character. Like, so you're saying you hated Elle?

I didn't hate her, but like I wasn't rooting. I'm like, you're wrong in that situation. You shouldn't just go up to like the senior girls and try and sit and have lunch with them. Like they don't wanna sit and have lunch with you.

On her first day of school and she's a junior and she's like, where do the cool seniors sit? Like, girl, are you so shallow?

And also I had seen clips like surfacing that really cemented for me that I wasn't gonna watch it because, um, I, I don't know if you've gotten there yet, but there is a love interest in the show and it's like he's this like sort of troubled youth. He's like a skater.

Because he's really goth looking.

But then she also crashed into a boy like in the gymnasium and I think like he seems really sweet.

Yeah, I think that like Does she have two? Yeah, and I think she's like torn between the guy she actually likes, which is like the skater who's like the opposite of Elle's like aesthetic.

Got it. And he was like definitely so commie, the show, by the way.

Yeah, oh yeah, no, he was getting commie. And the senior girls were like— 'Cause it's Seattle, right? She moves to Seattle.

The senior girls literally said, they were like, "We don't like people from California." And she was like, and Elle was sitting there and the senior girl's like, "You guys don't care about stuff that we care about." Like the environment? Like the climate and social justice.

And then when she runs into that guy who I guess was going to be her crush, and like he's handing out flyers because he said the support staff's getting paid like, like not a lot of stuff. I don't know, they said support staff. I imagine that's people that work at the school are getting paid not a living wage.

Yeah, like not them politicizing Elle. Like, come on.

So like, people didn't assume that Taylor had gotten a dog. And like, I know if you're not a real Taylor Swift fan, you're like, okay, who cares? But it's actually a really big deal.

She's a huge cat person.

Like, her personality has been cats. Cats are famous.

I mean, she's— you could still be a cat person and have a dog, but like, to also get a dog with a partner is a huge step.

Yeah. I also feel like this is really emblematic of like how Travis has made an impact on her life. Like, you make space for your partner and Not everyone is a cat person. I'm famously not, and I do feel like that will get in the way of my eventual friendship with Taylor because like she could never invite me over. Like I literally wouldn't go. Like I, I'm petrified of cats. So obviously that's something I think about, but not to make this about me.

You guys could get dinner at a restaurant. Yeah, of course. No, she'd come to my house. Yeah, but I could never go to her house. Yeah, well, unless like she's traveling without them.

I feel like it's a small window into their marriage.

Yeah, so Travis was spotted with the dog he shares with his wife Taylor while he's in Palm Beach, while arriving in Palm Beach, Florida over the weekend. Well, we know they spend a lot of time in Florida, and when they're there, he's usually training. So I mean, it's training season.

But like, is Taylor gonna be in Florida?

Probably. That's crazy. She'll probably meet him there whenever she's done doing what she's doing.

And what is she doing, you think?

I don't know, maybe some girl time, maybe like some work.

Even though I've been thinking a lot, um, about TLOAS, and I feel like it was like the first time ever that like Taylor didn't release an album on her own time. Like she just releases albums like when, when come to her when they're complete. And I feel like there was so much hype around her and Travis, and you want to take advantage of like momentum like that. And it was the first album that I feel like was really incomplete and like not her best work, and it was also felt kind of rushed. And so take your time. I, I want to work on your schedule and I don't want you working on ours. Yeah, there's like a big demand for like, we want the Travis songs. And it's like, she was so famous at the time and the era just ended and it was like, what is she gonna do next? I feel like she rushed it a little bit.

Well, I guess not even because of Travis songs, but just because if she was doing a Showgirl album, like the show is ending, right? So you gotta like— yeah. But it, it wasn't a Showgirl album.

And I don't think that that vibe was necessarily even the right one. So that's what I mean, I just felt like it was the first time like where it kind of missed the mark in, in a bunch of different ways, and it was because like it wasn't the right time. Yeah, take more time.

And I remember last season at the reunion, like, they were mad at like Huda or whatever because her fans were like attacking so nasty to Alandria and Shelly and like You always say, can't you tell them to stop or whatever? And Trinity, first minute out of the villa, puts out a statement saying, coming up, coming out the villa, I want to say I'm very blessed and appreciative of the love and support everyone has given me. With that being said, I want to say the hate and ignorant comments some of you guys are doing regarding Zach is absolutely not okay and needs to stop. It's very disheartening, and we are people just like everyone else. We genuinely have love for each other inside and out of the villa, and he's one of the most amazing people I've met, so please have some empathy.

So yeah, it's hell. It's actually hilarious and really speaks to the deep unwell nature of the Love Island voting block that like the person getting death threats, hate so much so that the cast members need to speak out about is Zach. Yeah, but like his worst crime was just being like snarky and annoying. Not— he did— was treated to Kada very well. Like, and there's a legitimate evil con man in the villa who's skating by. Did you see his mom's live?

But I don't think that like people are— I know they voted for Melanie and Sincere because they wanted the core 4 in in the final 4. But like, I don't even think like Sincere maybe even really knows.

From what I understand, like reading tweets and stuff, people voted for Melanie and Sincere because they love Melanie. Yeah. And she'll come out of the villa and see, no, we weren't rooting for you and Sincere. We were rooting for you. Not like—

It. I— they have been married for 18 years. They have how many kids? 4? 2? 2 kids. And now they're splitting.

Shocked. It takes so much to shock me, like, for so many reasons. One, like, they're so embedded in work together. Like, what does this mean for Yo Mama's House? Like, two, like, you've been married for 18 years, why are you getting divorced? Like, at that point, like, seriously, stay together. Yeah. And I think their kids are kind of young.

They are. Even though they've been married for a while, I feel like they're like toddlers, not toddlers, but like 10, like under 10.

She's also just like a young hot thing, so like she's always in pictures with people. You're like, oh, who's that? It's a publicist.

She's always there. Yeah. And she was—

she's always published a lot of high-profile clients. She represented Britney and Jax together like through a lot. So I feel like— I don't know who her other clients are at this moment, but I remember she was a publicist for like Dylan Barber and Hannah G. Dylan Barber yelled at Margo Lashley over this weekend. What? Did she tell you that? No. Yeah, Margo went to Surf Lodge and she got yelled at by Dylan Barber.

Tell me, start from the beginning.

Literally, I walked into her room, I'm like, how was your night? She's like, I got yelled at by Dylan Barber. She said he apologized like hours later. Um, but like, you know, Surf Lodge is very tight. Um, the table next to Margot like was Dylan Barber's with Hannah. It was—

oh, I saw they were in the Hamptons this weekend for a setting.

There was somebody at that table.

Joe and Serena were there.

There was somebody at that table that Margot wanted to say hi to, and so Margot went over. She's like, chitchatting. I don't know, she didn't mention it, so it like wasn't important. Um, chitchatting and like trying to leave, like make her way away from back to her table. It's like very tight, and he literally comes over and he's like, you need to move. Mark was like, fucking excuse me. Um, she said that he was like basically being Olivia Oshry. You're like, you know, when we used to go clubbing and someone is approaching on my perimeter, Olivia Oshry like was our security guard. And it's like, well, Olivia can do that. Like a man yelling at a woman, yikes. Um, and Margaret was like, are you fucking serious? And she just like left. And then later, like hours later, they were at a different place and of course Margo's table ended up being right next to him again. And Margaret was like, that guy like yelled at me and he came over and somebody say it too.

She like told someone and then he learned of his behavior.

Yeah, I think it was like Tinks, Tinks and her crew. And Tinks's crew was like, let's get him to apologize, and he did. Oh my God, so Dylan Barber yelled at Margot.

That's so crazy because if you're like the known person at the table, don't do the dirty work. Yeah, I wouldn't say he's like that known though, but he is. We're talking about him.

conflated with real friendships. Like sometimes you meet your best friend for life at work, but a lot of times like people are taking their work friendships a little too far. And in a situation like this, like she's made it clear, you said there's weirdness like she invited you to save the date and then she didn't invite you to the wedding. Like, she doesn't like you anymore. And so yeah, you could like make it weird in the workplace or just like continue just like—

Hey, Swirlies, my husband and I are coming up on our first wedding anniversary and have thought about booking a boudoir photo shoot and surprising him with some steamy pictures. I was looking at the photographer's website and checking out her portfolio when I came across a spicy photo of my mother-in-law. Now, while I'm not judging her by any means, I'm concerned because I find it extremely hard to believe that she would have consented to those photos being public. Not only does she see— does it seem extremely out of character for her, but I also think she'd be mortified if she knew I just stumbled across those. But also, she's gone through a major weight loss transformation since those photos, which just makes it even harder to believe that she knows these are public. My question is, do I bring it up to her to make sure she's aware that they are public, or do I just act like I never saw those photos and move on with my life? Sincerely, a toaster who's just trying to do the right thing.

I'm like, what are you doing? What are you doing? How do you find yourself in this situation?

I feel like she didn't do anything wrong.

Like she was just finding herself in the situation.

It's kind of a crazy coincidence, I'll say that. But I guess maybe it's a small town and there's only like one or two boudoir photoshoots.

And it's like, you know, they say you marry your mother.

Yeah, well, the thing is, you know, I saw this— people were talking about this on TikTok the other day, like, um, how, you know, when they go to the hair salon, they're like, person's always taking pictures of them. And it's like, you know, you're in a hair salon, you never feel uglier than when you do with that thing wrapped around your neck and you're looking in the mirror. And it's like, some people are like, well, this person needs social media to do their job. And like, you know, be a friend, but also like, am I getting a discount for my services? So I think like the whole conversation about like vendors needing, and I get it, like you need social media content in this day and age to like promote your business, especially if it's like beauty or whatever. But like, yeah, where is the discount? Like there has to be an exchange.

It's so true. It's a conversation people are having and it's really interesting.

I think it happens a lot with like Lash Techs. It's like, well, I'm coming to my appointment looking like a mole rat and like you wanting to photograph, like I don't know about that. Especially like there's an incentive for you, but what about for me?

Yeah, and I'm paying for the appointment. So like maybe your mother-in-law got a discount And if she didn't, like, I'm sorry, boudoir? I think— I don't think she got to decide. Like, I think that's a separate thing that you're saying, and it just like speaks to a larger issue. But no, I think that like when you hire a photographer, like, unless you specify like, I do not want my photo shared, which most people don't because they just don't think about it, um, they might share your photos. I don't know.

I think that if you're somebody who photographs like newborn babies and you do something sensitive like a boudoir, it's not— yes, most photographers— I'm doing your engagement party where it's an assumption that I'll put you on my website, you'll be on my Instagram. Unless explicitly said otherwise. But Boudoir is a very sensitive thing.

And like, it is in a contract that you probably signed and didn't look at.

But the question here is like, should she tell her mother-in-law?

Right. Um, I don't know. Not directly. And then also it's like, it's like if you tell her, then she's thinking about you. No, no, and she knew. And it's like, well, why'd you think that I didn't want to tell me?

Uh, she definitely doesn't know, and she definitely shouldn't I feel it's just like, it's, you know what, it's a perfect anonymous letter. No, how do we tell her? She deserves to know. She definitely doesn't know.

Like, I guess it also depends what your relationship is because maybe you can just like sit her down the next time you're sitting down and be like, by the way, or you could be like, you come at it like so oblivious. Did you like working with this photographer? I'm thinking about doing a couple photos and I saw you on her website. Website. That's good.

Not saying it's good or bad that you're on her website, but letting her know, just dropping the information. Yeah, but then you have to admit that you're doing a boudoir photo shoot for her son.

But like, seriously, do any other photos? Like, I feel like it's a really niche— okay, so you're doing a boudoir photo shoot. That's amazing advice. Hey Swirlies, I learned how to make sourdough a few years back while I was on maternity leave, and I've been hooked ever since. It's really helped me form an identity outside of my own— outside of being a mom.

It feels like she's found a vibe.

I started selling to my local neighborhood via HOA Facebook group. I've actually had great success. It's not my full-time job or anything, but it's how I paid for my kids' Christmas and Hanukkah. I love teaching people how to make sourdough, so when my neighbor asked, I of course said Yes, she's also one of my good friends and all of our kids are in the same class together. We've spent the last couple of holidays together. I gave her some of my starter, which I've titled Dough Pamine. I spent hours answering her questions. I even created a PDF with photos on how to feed it and how to make it her— and how to make her first loaf. Days after she made her first loaf, first loaf, I got a text from some of my customers with a screenshot of her posting on our HOA Facebook group selling her bread and giving me credit for teaching her. Clearly the neighbors were a little confused too. I didn't realize I needed half a mile non-compete before giving her some of my dopamine. I'm super proud of the little business I built, and I've worked hard to gain these customers over the years.

I just know things will be weird now between us. Am I being dramatic? Please help.

You're not being dramatic. Like, that is weird.

And also, like, her giving you credit, like, is very duplicitous because you're not giving credit, you're letting everyone know it's the same bread. Like, you like this bread, come get it for a dollar less.

Like, yeah, it's very, um, but if she didn't give you credit, that would also be weird that she's just like stealing your business idea and she took your starter.

Yeah, but I will say what, like, she's definitely not making as good of bread as you because it takes like time to like hone your skills and like, you know, get your—

it's crazy to just learn how to make sourdough and then start selling immediately.

Like, you have to be making it for years. Seriously, ew.

I feel like you're in a place where you could start selling now, but I don't know if I would have said that.

Like, no, of course I wouldn't want to sell. I wouldn't like think that I have something selling. So like, the cream rises, stay the course. It's also like very hard, laborious, time-consuming and she'll give up. She will give up. Yeah.

It's also, you need to come to sourdough earnestly. And if you're coming with the intention only to sell it, that's not a pure place.

Not at all.

That will reflect in your bread.

There's no love in your loaves. It will taste like greed.

And also, what is the ethics on like taking someone's starter and then selling, selling it?

Like, I think if you took someone's starter and like you started a micro business, but like it has to— it's not like you just take someone's starter and then the next day you start a business. Like, it has to happen organically. It has to— no, no. But like, that's just weird. And also it takes time for you to like learn your skills as a sourdough maker. So if it happens organically, like, say Olivia, like, she has my starter and she like in a— like at some point started like a micro bakery. That's what they're called.

I guess that wouldn't be weird, but that's also your sister.

Different. Okay, anyone that I gave my starter to, if they like were making bread for a while, like love making it, have time, for a while you're running a side hustle, it's the time. Yeah, but you can't just like take it and then start selling. One, because like bread's gonna suck.

Seriously, you should encourage this, that people get her loaves, hate them, and never buy from her again. Yeah, I wouldn't be worried.

You're doing what you're doing, keep doing what you're doing.

Like, yeah, no one likes— so great to have like a side hustle, earn some extra cash, pay for all of our kids' Christmas gifts with it. No, that's like— yeah, that's another great thing. You send them pajamas from when they were a baby, and you send the birth weight, and they fill the pajamas with like pebbles to get the same weight. And then they put like, you know, it's like a bear, like a stuffed animal. And then you have like your baby, their weight, and like in your pajamas. That's really cute. That's so smart. I saw—

have you seen the people who make um, like rings out of breast milk.

I have seen breast milk jewelry.

Yeah, where it's like they put like— they basically like dehydrate your breast milk, it becomes powder, and they like put it in like a little glass pearl or whatever and put the pearl on a ring. You like shake your breast milk around.

It's so like— people get so creative.

Yes, I think a lot of it is like women who are like stay-at-home moms who like just have a passion, they're like artistic, and they end up like creating a lot of revenue for their family.
