Um, I was so bored and I was getting annoyed that like Love Island was ruining my life cuz like it starts at 8:35 and the FIFA World Cup started at 8 and I really wanted to be like a girl who watched sports. By 8:35 I'd really seen everything I needed to see. Mm-hmm. Soccer is so boring and I feel like it— we were talking about like why has the whole world become obsessed with soccer and just like hasn't taken in America? And it's not for lack of trying.

Yeah.

Messi plays for Inter Miami. David Beckham came to LA. Like it just hasn't taken off in the way that other leagues have and it's because it's boring. Like that's— it's as simple and as complicated as that.

I just feel like you sort of have to be there.

You know, in what sense?

Like to be in the stadium and feel the energy.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Oh, and we lost, by the way.

But I also find like a lot of sports watching on TV, like boring. Now I can find the joy in it because, but now I like, like watching football cuz there's all this like lore and you know, the players and stuff. But I think like the way it felt watching soccer for you yesterday was the way it felt for us watching football 5 years ago.

It's like, well, I didn't have no idea what's going on.

And also like, I actually know the rules of soccer. I know the game. It's taken me a really long time to understand football. At least if I'm watching soccer, I know what's happening.

So I I think that like when Taylor Swift started going to football games, like the MCs, everybody like stepped their pussy up. Like the networks had more graphics. They were like explaining it to people because a lot of people were new here and they weren't understanding like the rules and stuff. I have like a lot of criticisms for also like the MCs and the Fox Network. Like bad job, bad job all around. Like where were the graphics explaining it? Like a lot of people watching in America, this is our first time. Like we have no idea what's going on. We needed that like that Taylor Swift level of introduction. We needed interesting graphics, perhaps a chart, They do that for the Olympics too.

Like they explain every athlete. Instead it was just like a livestream.

It was a livestream with some like grumpy old men in the background who I wasn't even listening to. Like it was so boring and color me so confused 'cause I thought the World Cup was streaming exclusively on Peacock and I could not find it in English. And I was like, where is the English? It's streaming exclusively on Peacock in Spanish. Everything else is on Fox. So it took me, I watched first 15 minutes in Spanish.

That is confusing.

It was extremely confusing and overall like Not a positive experience. I really wanted to get into it, but then we lost, so like, I don't think we're going very much further.

Yeah, I think that's it for the US from what I saw this morning. We're eliminated, so I'm good.

Who's everyone rooting for? Argentina still?

I genuinely don't know enough about the lore, so I can't really make an educated decision.

Yeah, I don't know any— like, I didn't even watch as much as you did last night. I haven't watched anything. So boring. As I've said, like, you can't have a family, watch Love Island, run a business, run a business, have 3 meals a day, have friends, make sourdough, play mahjong, sourdough every other day, mahjong every other day, try being an influencer, and watch the World Cup. Like, it's, it's not going to happen for me.

And that's okay, know your limits, you know.

And I tried, I just really wasn't into it like all that much. So I did watch Love Island. Love Island prevailed, as it always does. I'm counting the days till it's over.

And what are the stories today, like anything?

No, it's giving summer Tuesday, you know. Everyone's sort of, I guess, coming back from the wedding Right, all those who weren't invited are on European vacations. And I think everyone who was there is just sort of like gleaning how much can I post.

And also post other things from the week in there. And that's the extent of what people are posting.

I wanna talk about like one of the major feedbacks we got from yesterday's episode because a lot of people when discussing like the Blake v. Taylor discourse, a lot of people were like, you guys didn't even consider the fact like maybe Taylor invite— I never considered it.

I considered it.

People were commenting, Maybe you guys didn't consider the fact that Taylor invited Blake, but Blake declined. Like, you're telling me Blake, who's like seriously working overtime these days to get back in the good graces of the public, post on social media, go to events, wear her outfits, get paparazzi'd, she wouldn't go to this like beloved affair?

Beyond that, I considered it, right?

I didn't.

The wedding, 'cause sometimes you can't go to every wedding, you can't dance at every wedding, like things happen, people have lives. Of course, of course. Even though like 1,500 people like did find a way to make it to MSG. I get that. She lives in New York City. You can make that argument if the, wedding was somewhere very inconvenient.

Upstate New York. She was in the state.

She has a place in New York City, and when she's not there, she's in New York State, upstate. Like, it couldn't have been more convenient for her. So while I considered it, I tossed it out because it's not the case.

I didn't even consider it for half a second because if there's any sort of remnants of a friendship there, like, going— not going to someone's wedding is like the final nail in the coffin. Not inviting someone to your wedding is the final nail in the coffin. So like, there's— I'm sorry, there's no way. Yeah, there's no way.

No, there's no way.

But thanks for bringing it up because I didn't— I actually didn't even consider it. It never even crossed my mind that someone would do that.

People also said that like if you read all the legal documents, it's clear why Taylor is done with her, which I'm not going to be reading all the legal documents, but they said that in the legal documents like Blake threatened to release all of the text messages with Taylor. So like that would be friendship ending for Taylor in addition to the person that she murdered.

Correct, correct. And I'm not gonna go like deep into this because people once again like hate everything that I say, but I just let you know, like, no matter how many comments you leave, no matter how many videos you make, I don't care.

But people are using the fact that Taylor has clearly turned on Blake.

Yeah, no, to support it. It does support that. And I don't even really— people like Claudia ride so hard for Blake. I actually don't in Taylor v. Blake. I'm talking more in like the Baldoni case. Like, I'm telling you, I know, you know, I don't want to get it. No, but I don't get into it.

But this is what people are saying. I just— I'm curious how you would respond. Like, Taylor discarding Blake due to the aftershocks of Baldoni v. Blake. Like, does that not change how you feel about Baldoni v. Blake if even Taylor is done with her?

Because I don't think that Taylor and Blake's relationship ended because of Blake's role in the Baldoni case. I think it ended because Taylor brought— Blake brought Taylor into it. So it's like, I think Taylor would have had her back in the case even if everyone thinks she's wrong and she made up all the accusations or whatever. I think Taylor would have had her back, like, that's her friend. But then Taylor bringing her into it, having to get deposed and threaten to release the text messages, now Taylor's personally invested and that's where she draws the line, that's what I think.

Got it. But that doesn't even seem like the whole story, not separately, that doesn't seem like the whole story.

People have no idea what actually happened.

Because Taylor, I'll go depose for my friend, yeah, put me on the stand.

Right. I don't know.

If my friend's telling the truth and I was there the whole time and I was in the apartment.

Because Taylor's like the girl, the loyalty girl. Like, Taylor wrote a whole album about the people who weren't there for her when it was unpopular. Like, that is her least favorite quality in another person. So to assume that she did that to Blake, it's unconscionable.

So I think she hates murder more than she hates disloyalty.

Crime is bad. Like, we all agree.

I'm against crime and I'm against murder.

That's very brave of you to say, um, and you're just brave for that.

I know, but I have to speak my truth, you know what I mean? Like, you just can't silence me when it comes to important stuff.

Important things like crime.

Yeah, of course. Um, so there's a little more like wedding, you know, bits and bobs.

Yeah, people are like putting their carousels and like putting little Easter eggs, if you will, at side 4 or 5. Yeah, Chanel bag.

Yeah, side 4 or 5 is where the Easter eggs are found. Yeah.

Are you finding that like there is a decent amount of, or is it just like the sides of Twitter and TikTok that I'm on, that there's like a decent amount of negative response to the wedding in general.

I— there's always going to be like, you know, haters hating. Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. I actually think there's something that's like not being said, which is, which is like, what the fuck? They raffled off Chanel bags and a car? Yeah. And not being said by like real people. Of course trolls are gonna say that, like, we're not listening to them. I'm saying like, what the fuck?

Yeah, the Chanel bag. When I saw— so they have debunked a couple of things, right? Like they said that there was a documentary, Trea Payne came out and said that's absolutely not true. But there have been other rumors that they auctioned off a car, a Chanel bag, and I'm like, there's literally no way. Like Taylor doesn't even wear Chanel. Like there's no way. And then I saw a girl put in her carousel a black Chanel bag and like she's the winner with the little raffle ticket that said TNT on it.

Yeah, and that seems to be factual They raffled off the getaway car, the convertible from their first, like, sorry.

And it's like, where's the money going? To the cost of the wedding? To a charity?

There's a raffle at their wedding.

Yeah, no, the Chanel bag. And I heard that like people were waiting in lines for the Chanel bags. Like what?

And everyone can afford a Chanel bag.

It's like a carnival. It's like a carnival. That's actually not true. Not everyone there can, but like, it's like a carnival. Like that's not a thing you do at weddings.

No, and also I imagine if it was like a 3-day wedding, you have to like sort of, you know, build up the activities, like schedule.

Absolutely, you get desperate.

But this was like a normal length wedding. One night only. Started at like 4 or 5 o'clock and ended around 1, 2. Like, when's— for every wedding I've gone to in that hour, I, I don't know when there would be time for like a full-on raffle.

And I've actually been—

and they talk about like the 40-minute vows and everything was long.

Yeah, of course, ceremony, cocktail hour. When is the raffle?

When and why is the raffle?

Yeah. And it's like, is Brad Pitt and Ines— I just saw Ines de Ramon on Instagram. Highly recommend. Like, highly recommend. I don't know, like, I know she's technically a jewelry designer, but now she's a socialite, right? She's Brad Pitt's girlfriend. Oh my God, she's like Audemars Piguet. Like, she's so sickening and she gets like fully dolled up for every event. Was she waiting in line? Like, who?

Waiting in line for the raffle?

I heard that the Chanel bag raffle like had a huge line.

Oh, like a silent auction?

I'm not entirely sure. Yeah. So it's like, that's what you do at a charity event. What's the charity?

And they gave to charity.

Maybe it was for charity.

So they made everyone else pay more.

Oh, I also—

I did get some— in addition to $26 million, some helpful feedback.

About the NYPD police presence. And I guess this happens at all, like, large events for Madison Square Garden. If you need to close streets, if you need a major police presence, Madison Square Garden actually pays out of pocket for that to the NYPD.

So it is actually, like, a good thing included in the cost of the venue.

So Taylor did not, like, use taxpayer resources. I also heard that the event was completely run on generators so as not to, like, take anything from— like, she was trying to dodge any and all sort of accusations. And yeah, you do pay for the police presence, you pay for the street closures, you pay for the permits, and you pay, I guess, for the energy used.

Yeah, but like, she pays the venue and the venue, right?

The venue, right? It's part of the cost of the wedding.

Yeah.

So like the criticisms, because I, I did think like actually like a valid criticism is like, what is like police resources being used? You call the cops in the city, takes like 35 minutes for them to come, but they're at Taylor Swift's wedding. So for her to not use like city resources and then of course the $26 million, like she's really trying to get ahead of everything. And you know what, so far like every criticism it has been, I want to know like what the the raffle. Are they— is that for money? I mean, for charity?

Yeah. I'm gonna reserve judgment, but like, that's the only thing where I'm like, what?

That's a weird thing to do at a wedding. I agree.

What in the what?

That's what you do at a carnival.

Or a charity event, which this is not.

Yeah.

Unless it was.

So I'm seeing like, not like an overall—

it's going towards the Donna Kelce Renovation Foundation. Maybe she needs new windows for her home in Orlando.

Maybe it is. But so no, I'm not really— aside from like, you know, basement trolls, I'm really not seeing like hate. Everyone's like excited, but there's also not a lot to work with.

So that's what's to hate at this point.

No one's gonna clown on her dress. We haven't seen her dress, we haven't seen decor, we haven't seen anything. Yeah, you would just be— you would be hating me just because you're a hater.

They have, um, like come out and debunked several rumors. One, the documentary.

Two, I love a documentary.

I would— I just want to say I'm very upset that that was debunked. Two, that I guess one of the rumors was that like the buffet lines, like, like the lines—

I saw the lines were so long people's feet hurt and that they were eating standing up, standing up because, you know, a 1,500-person wedding.

And, uh, that one Tree Payne also was quick to debunk. I heard it, you know, Renz Dumas actually had to issue like a correction saying that it was the most well-run buffet anyone had ever seen. They did buffet of event making.

Yes, it's a buffet.

Yeah. You know, actually, if I were to be getting married now, one of the things I would change in addition to getting my mole removed would be having a buffet. It's such a vibe. Like, it is the order. It's like very formal and traditional. We sit, we have a speech. Yeah, but like, you want people to have fun. Any time I've been to like a most fun wedding ever, it was a buffet.

Yeah, I do. I do see the merits of a buffet, and I'll never knock a buffet, but I also love a buffet because I, I do also love the seated dinner, assuming like it's a party, 3-course meal, of course, which I assume Taylor had great offerings.

I heard shrimp was being loaded in and lobster and Sartiano's truck.

Oh, interesting. Caviar, the marine life that was killed.

I'm ready for more. Think of the marine life. I'm ready for more. Like, I've only— I've sat here now second day in a row, like grasping at straws. We're just like making stuff up, pulling from carousels.

That's why there's not a lot of hate, because there's nothing to hate, right?

I just need a picture of her, of her dress, up or down, bangs or no bangs.

I think she wore up with bangs.

And apparently their car was seen like going about in New York, assuming they're in this one vehicle that everybody now knows. They like were going out last night, so they're not on their honeymoon. I don't know, maybe it's a decoy. It's kind of helpful to them that everyone knows that this is their car because they can say, oh, we're here, but we're there. I think they're probably on a honeymoon. Yeah, I think she's getting pregnant. I feel like when we've watched her documentaries in the past, she always stresses that like her life is planned 3 years in advance, like album tour, album, like, you know, you can't— it doesn't make way for like romance or spontaneity. And I feel like since she met Travis, like a lot of that has gone, and especially since the Eras Tour was so successful, she's not one of these artists that has to be on the schedule. It's like, we will come when you decide. It's not like, you know, sometimes if you don't stay on the hamster wheel, like you get. So I think a lot of that is no longer the case for her.

The £50 million phone hacking case brought by Prince Harry and a couple other high-profile figures against the publishers of the Daily Mail was dismissed in full today. The judge accepted that every article complained about was lawfully sourced. Oh, in an executive summary of his judgment, he said Associated, uh, Newspapers, which owns the Daily Mail, called journalist witnesses who gave lawful explanations for the source of the disputed articles and incidents.

Oh, I guess Harry had thought that his— like, the information that they had could only be sourced if they had hacked his phone, but they proved that they didn't.

I really respect that, like, the marketing and the partnerships department at Krispy Kreme, like, takes no days off. They're always doing stuff, always making waves in the food news industry, always qualifying themselves for the fifth and final story on a slow summer day. Yeah, and I really respect that.

They don't just rest on their laurels. Like, of course they have perfect product.

But it's like, we're always talking about people like who aren't doing good at their jobs, like the agency that was hired for HBO Max to turn into Max to turn back into HBO Max. We don't talk enough about the brands and brand partnerships team over at Krispy Kreme, cuz like they're crushing it. Yeah, raise. Let's talk about Love Island. Last night's episode was like definitely the worst of the season in the sense that like really nothing happened.

Not in the sense of like people were, you know, enraging, which they were, but no, it was bad in the sense that it was boring.

The scavenger hunt was so stupid.

It was not even— I wouldn't even want an email. Like, it's an episode that shouldn't have been an episode. Yeah.

And I guess the only real—

like, God forbid— okay, so they had this day that they need to fill where they're not having a recoupling, right?

There's not a real challenge.

Why not send two people on a date?

Literally anything else, the hideaway could open. Like, anything. I guess, like, the big story of the episode is that Kenzie and Dylan are now on the rocks. And I will say, like, I've been critical of Kenzie because she didn't move perfectly in, in the house and at some point like she just started like acting slutty for no reason. But the way like we're having this referendum on Kenzie, everyone has to talk about it while like literally she's doing exactly what Sincere did in a more earnest way. She never lied except she kissed Corbin in secret one time that everybody can't let go of. She's just— I don't know, she came at it from a place of like genuine exploration, whereas we're letting Sincere sit here like they're fully back together. You have to make my fiancé.

Oh my God, when he said you're gonna be the mother of my children—

I'm sorry, I now officially dislike Melanie. I have given her up until this point like a lot of leeway in her poor decision-making because I do believe she's like a victim of Sincere's craziness. But at some point, the show was so frustrating because never, not once, has anyone here— and that's why I actually respect Casey, because like while he didn't move perfectly, he always stands up for himself— like no one is standing up for themselves. Kenzie's like getting like, like really her character being called into question so deeply and so frequently by everyone, by her partner, by the girls, by the guys, and And it's like, stand up for yourself. Like, just defend yourself. Nobody stands up for themselves. It's like irritating. So I'm over here like defending you and like you're not even defending yourself.

No. And it's like, I disagree with what Kenzie has done, but I more so disagree with what Sincere has done. If we're not criticizing Sincere and the villa's not criticizing him and his partner's not criticizing him, then we can't criticize Kenzie because she's done what he's done on a much smaller scale. So if, if Sincere is absolved, then everybody is absolved. Even like with Dylan, right though, to feel the that he—

like, he's in a partnership with a girl who he just found out, like, has this kind of weird pattern, and he might just be another cog.

I don't have an issue with Dylan raising his concerns, but at some point, like, he does have to get over it. Get over it, or don't, and don't trust her and move on.

But, like, I'm starting to feel bad for her. Like, she's just— she's obviously in hell. She wants to go home. You could tell she's really not having fun.

And, like, no, and she is getting shit on constantly, and it's like, I think we need to— we need to shit on her, yes, and, and that's it. Like, not constantly, not every single day making her feel like the worst person. She's always in the bottom.

Talk about it and then let's move on, especially if we're not having that same energy for everyone. It's insane, the level of criticism. And we're looking so deeply into everything Kenzie has done. Is this a pattern? When there's an actual, like, register— fucking—

so here's what's crazy, that Kate is flipping out that they're in the bottom, and she's like, how are Casey and TT not in the bottom? Like, how are they higher than us? And it's like, you're so mad at Casey, why are you not mad at Sincere? Why are you not saying, how are Sincere and Melanie—

she did say it, but she didn't harp on it.

She's raging about Casey.

Yeah, it's interesting how, like, the audience, oh, that is making everyone go crazy. And I guess it is like very disconcerting that like you're having this whole experience and like, you know, in the back your mind everyone's watching, it's gonna have their opinions.

Like, does the whole country hate me?

Now you get faced with that possibility. I think Kenzie's really taking it to heart.

For Ken— for Kaida, it's two options. Either like America hates her and like, oh, you're going home to being like the most hated person in America, or we're seeing something about Zach that she doesn't see. And so it's destabilizing to think that there's even more that she doesn't know. But what's so crazy is like Bryce, when he spoke to Zach, really touched on exactly what our issue is with Zach.

TT told Kaitlyn, by the way, I think people don't like you because like Zach went to the hideaway with you and then said he wanted to keep exploring. Like, and she was like, oh really?

I don't think that's it. Yeah, no. And then Kaitlyn totally brushed it aside. But like when Zach was like, should I, uh, close off with Kaitlyn?

But like not be a girlfriend, but like be exclusive.

But then Bryce was like, what do you mean close off? The experience is over. That's, that's a moot point. Yeah.

And he's like, performative, like gesture.

And he's like, so do something like more serious. Would you ever make her your girlfriend? He's like, well, that's a big step.

What do you mean?

This girl's your girlfriend.

What is exclusively dating if not being boyfriend or girlfriend?

That conversation— why we see he's trying to like repair how we think of him and like insist that he has strong feelings for Kaita— that conversation sets him back. It did once again because it's the same thing. And then he finally has a conversation with Kaita and it's like, I want to be exclusively dating. And it's like, again, no. Too little, too late.

And now she's so excited.

We hate you even more.

She's so excited. Like, sorry, this is what I mean. No one like demands more from their partners. All the girls— I'm sorry, agree. Nobody demands anything. And it's like, they're all such big fucking talkers. Like, I can't even deal with them. Even Kato was like, I'm gonna make Zach my— it's like, girl, you're not.

Like, I would have had more respect for Zach if he said, I'm not closing off or getting official in the villa because I want to do it in real life, and like, I don't want to do it in the villa, it's not as serious. He could have had a reason for never doing it in the villa, but he wanted to do a big gesture just to curry favor with America, right?

But he didn't want to actually do it.

But like, how stupid you that you're gonna do it right after the vote. We're gonna have—

That's so embarrassing to do it right after because you were voted in the bottom.

But like, Kaida was literally gonna cry, she was so happy. Like, I'm just really done like wanting more for these girls than they want for themselves. Like, they want to be there, they want to be treated like doormats. They all talk so big, like the villa's gonna shake. Kaida said something last night like, when I talk to Zach, I'm gonna— it's like, girl, you literally— like, they all just fold fold like— what is that phrase—

like a cheap suit.

I love that. They fold like cheap suits. I'm sorry, I'm not gonna demand more of you. Like, sorry, these girls, girls, like, I'm sorry, none of these are my queens right there. These are not good role models for women.

Also, Anaya still likes Casey. Oh yeah, during the challenge, but she chose Casey, that she went to Casey to have him look for her sunglasses. Like, it's actually very, very sad.

So the scavenger hunt was stupid, but there were a couple of things that we should and could look into, and that was one of them.

Yeah. And when we're talking about couples who aren't compatible, not only are 'Uh, Carolyn and I are not compatible because they're not compatible,' and she didn't choose him when she had the chance to choose him. And like, he's obviously like mad at her, and who wouldn't be butthurt about not being chosen? And he never even like made her work for forgiveness or anything.

He didn't even talk about it.

He's just like moving on because he just like wants to be on the show.

It's a red flag, actually, how chill he is.

Yeah, but they're not compatible because she still likes Casey, and that's what people should be saying.

I love that TT and Casey like were so surprised that they were were not in the bottom. And at the end of the day, they're like, that's great, but like, we don't care. Like, I think that they are— like, they're my winners. Sorry. Of course, so Bryce and Trinity are great. I really have no problem with them.

And I'm glad that, like, even though I disagree with my fellow voters and the Love Island viewers, like, I think they will win. We all agree that Brinidi is the winner. They're so, like, thankfully, like, because I can't deal with another undeserving winner.

No, like, I could see people thinking that Anaya and Carl should win, and they absolutely— you guys, nobody else deserves to win. But honestly, like, if Casey and Look, everyone's gonna think this is the craziest thing. They aren't gonna beat Bryce and Trinity because Bryce and Trinity are just a better couple and they've had a better track record. But I'm sorry, they are— they're the Clark and Taylor who are still together, mind you, from last season. They are the Clark and Taylor of the season. I'm glad that people have sort of let up on them.

Yeah, I feel like—

I know, I feel like America has learned a little bit from that situation because when it was Clark and Taylor, they would have been voted in the bottom. And this time they weren't.

Every now and then someone leaves their partner from someone from Casa, and there's really no good way to do it. And even if there was, the girls in the villa would find a way to like defend their friend and hate the guy. So it's like, just— you might as well choose what makes you happy. And that is what Casey did. And again, he wasn't perfect and yada yada, but I'm sorry, him and TT are so cute. Yeah, I've moved on from a couple of disrespectful comments, and so has Anaya, by the way.

So like, well, yeah, because she likes him, she loves him.

Um, such a boring episode, a complete waste of time and brain cells. Yeah, it was like frustrating to feel like my life was being wasted on this episode. That's how I felt.

Yeah, and they didn't even give us a preview for tonight yet, did they? They just said like there's going to be a vote coming. Vote is brewing.

Yeah.

Meanwhile, Ian Sterling like stays cracking me up. We don't even talk about how like he gets the episodes like probably the day before, they have music already set to them, and he just has to like add over his voiceover, and he's like writing those jokes on the fly.

He is insanely talented.

He is.

I think shit like that is so corny usually, and when I first watching Love Island. I was getting like, getting ready to skip. The way it's so funny, it's very quick, it's very sharp, it's very clever. It's like mean without— it's funny without being mean. And it like, he has like a general understanding of like what the audience is feeling.

Yes, he's giving like a voice a little bit to the people.

I love him, he's insanely talented.

Yeah, that's my king right there. That's the only nice thing I have to say about the show.
