Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an 8-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together.
Remember, I have your 6. Get ready to level up right now.
What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today we're talking about the answer nobody likes hearing. No! You finally explain your offer, somebody turns it down, and now you're questioning the price, the business, and yourself.
Slow down. One person deciding not to buy is information. What you do with that information matters more than the fact that you didn't get the sale. Before law enforcement, I spent years in corporate sales. Selling cleaning products and equipment was part of how I developed my communication skills.
Sales has been part of my path for a long time. Here's what I want you to consider. The person you're speaking with is making a decision about their needs, their timing, and your offer. They aren't handing you a final grade on your future. First, find out whether there's anything useful to learn.
You can ask what made the offer feel like the wrong fit. Maybe they don't need it. Maybe the timing doesn't work. Maybe you explained it badly. Those answers call for different responses.
And respect the answer. Getting better at sales doesn't mean arguing someone into a purchase they don't want. If they aren't interested, thank them and move on. You can take the work seriously without turning the conversation into a fight. Second, look for a pattern before you rebuild everything.
One person asking for a lower price doesn't automatically mean your price is wrong. But if several people misunderstand the same part of the offer, pay attention. That's something you can improve. Lastly, Keep the next conversation on your calendar. Don't let one disappointment cancel the rest of your effort.
Write down what you learned. Make a useful adjustment if one is needed. Then, give the next person a fair conversation instead of carrying your frustration into it. Bottom line? A no can help you understand your market, your message, or where your offer fits.
It doesn't have to end the day. Listen without getting defensive. Look for the lesson. Keep reaching people you can actually help. Your next decision is still yours.
Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you that rejection is something you can respond to without making it your identity. Learn from the answer, respect the person, and as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level Up Podcast. Asking a respectful question can help you identify what happened. Listening matters more than defending yourself. Before changing your price or rebuilding your approach, look for a pattern. Respect the person’s answer, write down the lesson, and make the adjustment the facts support.Keep the next conversation on your calendar. One answer does not get to cancel your effort.Your Network is your NETWORTH!Make sure to add me on all SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS:Instagram: https://jo.my/paulalex2024Facebook: https://jo.my/fbpaulalex2024YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGhDAD1JyGGzSQUPD9lc9HQLinkedIn: https://jo.my/inpaulalex2024Looking for a secondary source of income or want to become an entrepreneur?
