Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an 8-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together.

00:00:16

Remember, I have your 6. Get ready to level up right now.

00:00:21

What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today We're talking about needing everybody to agree with your next move. You share an idea. One person likes it.

00:00:33

Another person has doubts. Now you want a third opinion before you do anything. Listening can help you make a better decision, but are you looking for useful information, or are you waiting for permission? Early in my career, I wanted to prove to myself that I could change my circumstances. I wanted financial independence and the ability to help my parents.

00:00:53

Those goals meant something to me. Your goal needs to mean something to you too. When somebody isn't excited about it, you still need a reason to do the ordinary work. Their enthusiasm can't be the only thing keeping your plan moving. Separate a useful concern from a personal preference.

00:01:09

If somebody asks how you'll cover your expenses, that's a question worth answering. If they point out a problem with the service, investigate it. But somebody saying they wouldn't want to run that kind of business Doesn't tell you whether you can serve a customer. Ask what they actually know about the decision. Be willing to learn.

00:01:27

You can take feedback seriously without handing every person control over what you try. And remember, who shares the responsibility with you? If a decision affects your household's money or time, talk it through with the people affected. That's different from asking the whole internet whether you should want the life you want. Then choose a reasonable step you can own.

00:01:47

Test the offer. Learn the cost. Do a small amount of real work and review what happens. You'll have more to discuss after that than you will after another week collecting opinions about something you haven't tried. Bottom line?

00:02:00

You don't need universal excitement. You need a reason, a workable next step, and the willingness to take responsibility for what follows. Listen to concerns that help you prepare. Let people have different preferences. Then, make the decision that belongs to you.

00:02:15

Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex. Reminding you that you can respect other people and still take responsibility for your direction. Hear the feedback, own the choice, and as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level Up Podcast.
