Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an 8-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together.

00:00:16

Remember, I have your 6. Get ready to level up right now.

00:00:21

What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today we're talking about having too many business ideas. You see somebody making money online and and now you wanna try what they're doing. Then another opportunity shows up.

00:00:36

Before long, you've got 5 plans and no time to do any of them well. Having more options can feel exciting. At some point, you have to choose what gets your attention. I've built different businesses, but they didn't all begin at the same stage of my life. I was operating ATMs while I was still a detective.

00:00:53

Merchant services came after I left law enforcement. When you look at what somebody has built over time, don't turn all of it into your assignment for this month. You're looking at several chapters and trying to live them at once. Look at the business you've already started. Can you explain who the customer is?

00:01:09

Can you reach them? Can you deliver what you're selling? Do you understand the costs? Those questions need work before adding another idea makes things easier. A new business comes with its own customers to understand and problems to solve.

00:01:23

It doesn't arrive as a finished income stream. If you're already struggling to follow through, more unfinished work can make that harder. Put the other ideas somewhere you can return to them. You don't have to announce that you'll never pursue them. You're deciding that one business gets a fair amount of focused effort first.

00:01:40

Choose what progress would justify your next decision. Maybe you need to deliver a first project. Maybe you need a repeatable way to reach customers. Maybe you need to fix something that's taking too much time. Work toward that milestone.

00:01:53

If the business keeps showing you it isn't viable, review it honestly. Focus includes paying attention to whether the work is producing anything. Bottom line? You can be ambitious without starting everything at once. Give one business enough attention to understand it.

00:02:09

Learn what it takes to operate it. Then make the next decision from experience. A list of opportunities is useful only if you have room to do something with them. Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you that choosing where to focus is part of building something real.

00:02:25

Pick the priority, follow through, And as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level Up Podcast.
