Yeah, that really worked out. How are you guys doing, like, 2 days post-Nick's win where you got to be in the arena for the historic moment? And like, you can't put a price on that.

Yeah, and if you watch the vlog, which is now out, it is— I'm being like, like, there's like whispers about Oscar nominations. Like, everyone is saying it's one of the best vlogs ever. Um, I agree. We really missed you yesterday. And there was like, yes, so much pop culture to talk about from the game, um, but there really was like— I'm such a— like, I drink beer, you know? I'm so into sports. My whole For You page is like, we're analyzing those last couple of seconds of the game. Like, I watched this video, I don't know if you guys know, like when they threw in the ball, Cat tipped it, which I just saw that Cat tipped it. But do you know that Cat also utilized some fans to help him, like courtside fans.

How so?

They— Kat asked them to move forward to give the Spurs player just like less room, because he had to throw it really far. With that amount of time, the only thing to do is to lob it in, so you have to throw it really far and tall. Um, and the less room you have to like move that way, the better. So Kat was like encouraging the courtside fans to just like come a little closer.

Oh, interesting. Yeah, sneaky sneaky.

Does feel illegal.

Yeah, I didn't want to like blow up his spot. I didn't want to be a narc, but like, yeah, a little cheaty. But it's fine because they're like punching people and like being very aggressive.

Well, we talked about that yesterday as well, just like the behavior. Um, cuz no one— like, I feel like I keep equating this to the Eras Tour just in terms of like its impact on culture and ticket sales, and people were not acting like this at the Eras Tour. Like, people really need to calm down.

I, I, I think in terms of like the dash for tickets, it's similar to the Eras Tour. I think that's—

it's like cultural impact on a gender Uh, no, I think this is similar.

I, I don't— I think the comparisons end at tickets.

Like, it's— no, I think also like the way that the city that the event is taking place in like becomes, you know, like Taylorland, and all the mayors are getting involved and the local businesses are thriving. Like, it's similar to that.

It's similar to like an NBA Finals, I would say, or a Super Bowl.

yeah, it is similar to an NBA Final in the sense that it's also an NBA Final or the Super Bowl where there's two teams competing and the city really prospers from the competition. Yeah, but like, every— like, all the bagels are blue and orange. Like, everyone is— like, the dot cakes are blue and orange. Walking around, everyone is wearing blue and orange. Like, it reminds me of the era story in the sense that like it became Swiftville. I think that like they made it honorary. No, this is crazier. It's crazier. It wasn't even happening in San Antonio.

This is crazier only because it's happening to the biggest greatest city in the country, so it's happening on a bigger, greater level. But I think this is what people in Philadelphia experience.

And no, it's different.

Chicago, this is better. No, it's bigger and better, but it's sim— I think they do dot— they were doing dot cakes, or the, or the trendy equivalent, when the Eagles won.

No, I'm telling you, it's like different. Okay, but maybe it's cuz I'm here, like I'm really experiencing it firsthand.

Yeah. Well, I'm so thrilled that things are really picking up steam, and I'm so excited for me because this means for sure Kylie's going to the next game. Timothy will not be going to a game without her ever again.

She's a good luck charm for sure, even though Kylie doesn't do away games. Like, that's why this will be a test of their relationship.

And she has a plane, she can do an away game.

The Knicks are in a good spot because the next game, like, they don't have to win. If they do, they're NBA champions, which is just very exciting. It's not a home game. Even though they kind of do better on the road. So best case they win, worst case they lose and then come back and win at home, which is even better.

I'm kind of like rooting for that, but I know fans will be so devastated if they win— if they lose the next game.

Like, yeah, if they lose the next game, it's just like it's delaying the inevitable, I think.

Yeah, but it would be so party and iconic for them to win at MSG.

Yeah, I'm actually afraid.

Are you rooting against them for the next game?

So I have a lot of conflicting feelings. Part of me wants them to win at the next game, like get it over with. I actually am afraid of what could happen in the city if they do win here. Like, people are really being nutty. Um, and if they do win, if they— if there is another game, like, I am going and I'm going to have— like, I don't know how I'm going to get out of there. Like, I'm scared of having to leave. Like, you know what I mean?

Yeah, yeah.

I was already a little afraid when we were leaving the first time, but I think the ruckus doesn't start till like, you know, an hour or two later once all the normal people go home to their families and jobs. Um, so I'm a little afraid of like the damage and like the what will happen.

Yeah, yeah. New York's not really had like a big moment like that. Like we always make fun of other cities for like going so ham and being like criminals when it happens to them, but it's like it hasn't really happened here.

So that's what Ben and I were saying. It's like we judge, like I'm always talking about those domestic terrorists in Philly, right? Um, and Ben's like, that's happening here, but those are not Knicks fans. That does not represent our city. That does not represent our team. I'm like, well, that's what the people in Philly say too.

Like Maybe they're— maybe they are right.

Either we're both wrong or we're both right.

Oh, I want to shout out, you know, I'm obsessed with my Hokas. Like, I love wearing my Hokas, and I'm at a place now where I have to like keep replacing them because they just get so dirty. I love a white sneaker. I love a cracka. I love a white sneaker. And I threw them in the wash. One of my friends from Mahjong told me, just throw them in the wash like with some like stain remover spray, like spray them. And I don't know why I never thought to put my shoes in the wash.

I'm actually wearing Rothys that are advertised as shoes that you put in the wash.

So I know that there are machine washable shoes.

We watch— yeah, it was just, it was a little scary because Ben went out, oh, to dinner with Jesse Solomon last night. So I was home alone and I didn't know.

So I'm in the tub, I'm like, they make so much noise.

Is there an intruder? Is the building collapsing? It was so scary. It wasn't until I was like following the sound that I was like, oh, it's my big stupid sneakers.

That's so you to scare your own self with the thing that you did by yourself.

Tell me about Ben's dinner. Um, Ben loved him. Like he came back and he was just like, what a nice guy. They had an amazing dinner. You know, Ben, of course, like it was like a date. Ben drove him home. I'm like, why'd you get home so late? He's like, I had to drive downtown. Even further to drop him off. I was like, oh, okay, taking out your girlfriend, like dropping her off at home. Ben said he was just like such a cool, normal guy, and they have some mutual friends. Like, he's a Jewish kid who went to University of Miami. They actually have like quite a few mutual friends. Yes. Um, Ben was like asking him, you know, very inspired by his music career and just like the journey in general. Ben was like— Ben, it wasn't like a tea-filled sesh, you know?

Yeah, I know. I didn't feel like Jesse was wanting a tea-filled sesh. Like, I feel like he just needs a brother, a friend. Yeah.

And like normally in those situations, I send Ben in with like a list list of demands with like things I want to find out, questions to ask. But this time I was just like, be a shoulder, be a friend, be a support. And they had a great meal. You know, those two kings went to the corner store, trendy, trendy little kings. And, um, I think they had a great time. I hope they'll go out again.

And Miss Margo was spotted with Jesse Solomon at the Knicks watch party.

Yeah, Margo went to a watch party, Jesse Solomon was there, and she sent us a picture. I was like, oh, so you're dating? And the next morning we were like, well, what happened? She was like, we just took a picture and then like went on like with our respective groups.

And we were like, okay, I wish I never asked.

Yeah, like in my mind when I saw the picture, it's like they went home together, they live together now.

Finally connected. Everyone says we should be together, we finally met, and now we are. It's probably like how Kelsey Ballerini and, and Craig Conover feel when they see each other.

And then, but no, it was just like very much a photo op.

Well, we do have so much to discuss today 'cause I do wanna talk about like the things that I saw from like my perspective of the game and then also Love Island. Love Island.

I, I missed like the last 10 minutes, but last night was a filler episode. They literally told us it was a filler episode because of the app crashing. I think tonight was the scheduled recoupling episode, but because they had to delay the voting and everything, it's now tomorrow.

I was fine with it. I liked last night's episode.

Um, yeah, it was fine.

I think we got to know like people's personalities and like just see their conversations and their connections, and like it was, it was fine. It really didn't bother me.

We'll do a TV recap, um, so I don't want to get too much into it, but it was kind of the first night I was sort of like getting annoyed with Anaya. She's like too like much of a yes woman. Like Melanie, she's like, gas— like a good friend will tell you you're being crazy. A good friend will say, well, no, she's just— and she was the one who was like, I'm going to go up there. And Anaya was like, okay, go.

No, Melanie is a yes person. Melanie's ruining Anaya's Q score because their friendship makes her look bad. No, but also that that's the person that you're close to. I'm judging.

100%. 100%.

I did want Melanie to go upstairs.

Yeah, I respect Casey, like, trying to keep the order in the house, but like, this is a show, and like, when the people— when crazy people do crazy things, like, that's what—

let them, let them theory, you know? Yeah, he needs to read Mel Robbins.

Cracking up. We'll do a full TV recap. We also have Queedy and Weeny. It's Friday. We have stories. My girl's back. I really missed you. Like, I miss you so much. Work— it's so much work doing the stories and the ads.

it's a two-person job. For as much as we complain about like splitting the paycheck.

Yep, it's true. I do. And you know what, I do complain about splitting the paycheck, and I want to let you know, like, I do resent you for that. But like, we both earn our keep. It's too much work.

His childhood trauma.

I guess that, that is a funny conversation that they talk about on The Good Guys. Like, Josh sort of had this like kind of not like dark, but like definitely challenging childhood, and more so than the average. And like, here's Ben, who's just like so normal. His parents are still married, okay? Like, it's insane. The two could not have had— genuinely, even though they're both like chubby Jews from New York, they could not have had more different upbringings.

And so yeah, the hardest thing in Ben's childhood was the Knicks that they kept losing. Ah, I mean Yeah, it's giving, um, you were never homeless.

It's giving out of touch. You were never homeless.

Speaking of Rory, and, um, you said earlier that you could go for a cracker. Has anyone been eating more crackers since Rory? I have been. She's made them like— she reminded me like how delicious a cracker is, like how it really— and when she explained like it calms her, it like helps with nausea, like it's so true.

And very stabilizing.

A cracker, they are stabilizing. And I've been craving crackers more since she resurfaced that.

I have not been eating more crackers, but I'm 100% open to the idea of it. Let's talk about crackers in terms of brands. Like, obviously a Ritz Cracker is supreme.

It is good, but it's, it's very rich.

I agree. It's— and it's really not one you can just grab a cracker and be stabilized. It's like a whole journey because you have to have a sleeve.

I really love a saltine. I love a saltine. It really— they are medicinal.

So when I was pregnant, yes, they are—

they have medicinal properties. Even when you're sick with a cold, like, you have some with soup, like, it has a medicinal property.

Yeah, it's like taking a Zofran, actually, uh, a premium saltine. But you know what I'm really into that I don't see getting enough love? I do know they're really popular, like, people always buy them for their charcuterie boards, but I don't see them getting enough, like, social media hype and, like, in the culture, is a Club Cracker.

It's kind of a blend of that savory Ritz with the classic salty saltine.

Yeah, I bought a box of, like, gourmet assorted crackers like 2 weeks ago at the gourmet shop, and I've just been sort of like going through them. And I don't know that I would have bought it if not for Alicia, honestly. And they've really been a value add in my life. And everybody loves a cracker. The kids love a cracker.

I don't love like gourmet crackers. I happen to think that like the lowbrow mass American like supermarket brands do it better.

You would have liked what I bought.

Like a Carr or like a Water Cracker.

I'm one episode behind on Rory. They just announced the trailer, uh, the reunion with a trailer. It's two parts. I feel like for a first-time franchise, getting like a two-part reunion is kind of a slay.

Yeah, I need to catch up. I will do that. I also started a book, and it's like, it's such an endeavor to start a book these days that it's like, I'm kind of annoyed at the book that I started. I don't know where I found it. I think I saw it on the New York Times bestseller list. It's called London Falling.

It had like a— I've heard of it.

You have? What did you hear about it?

Like, I saw the COVID I don't know, like, I didn't— sorry, I didn't hear it. I've seen it is what I meant to say.

But like, where do you even think that you've seen it? Because now, like, book talk maybe? Yeah, the subheader I thought was really good. A mysterious death in a gilded city and a family's search for truth.

Okay, but it's like, I'm gonna finish it because I'm like 30% and it's like pretty dense, but it's just, it's not swirly. Oh, NS.

I don't read books these days. I don't actually, don't engage in any sort of media or hobby or even person that doesn't have like insane swirlitude.

Yeah. I understand that. And even when I'm like venturing out of swirly waters, usually there's a swirl to be found. Like if I'm reading historical fiction, swirly edition, like, but this is just like crime and history and it's just like dense and there's not a swirly in sight.

I'm painting the town swirl. Like I only exist in my like world of swirl.

Yeah. Oh, let me tell you about some niche drama that like you will love, cuz we were just talking about how like there's really randomly a, um, pop culture podcast like from The New York Times, like, is like— it's kind of like, I feel it encroaching. Like, I feel like it's everywhere now.

Then we said it's a music podcast that's once a week.

Well, it's not a music podcast because one of the hosts is like kind of in drama. I guess he was tapped just because, like, they're like sort of industry plants. They get like tapped for stuff. It's like a pop culture podcast hosted by two older gentlemen. Like, okay. Um, there was a panel, uh, featuring all the stars of The Pit, which was like a big deal. The show has like a really big fan base. And it was like this huge event. And I guess like one of the hosts, one of the hosts of PopCast was the host of the panel. And like, I don't know if he was drunk or something, but he was like kind of acting insane and inappropriate. Like Noah Wyle actually like had to fire back at some of the questions. Like I saw a bunch of clips, it was deeply uncomfortable. I'm like, the stars are on the stage, like actually rolling their eyes.

How do you not send me those clips?

I'm at a place in my life where like I physically cannot download and send. And a lot of the times, a lot of the shit I want to send to you, when I go to the effort to download it, like, the person has that setting off. Every video on TikTok is actually not downloadable.

That I know, that I know.

And it's becoming increasingly more difficult to like remain in contact with you when you have this hard line. I'm being honest.

It is a hard line, but I'll just say you don't have to DNS me everything, but like, when our peers are flopping, you better fucking send me that.

and the thing is, I said, you so much garbage on Instagram because it's so fucking easy.

Netflix is like releasing a lot of them on TikTok, which is smart. I've basically watched the whole movie vertically, and it looks so good. Like, cute rom-com. I'm down.

I told him that he could, but I think he like feels good about the fact that he went to one away game, one home game, and they won both of them. You know, he went to two insane games. Yeah, the first game was the first game ever, and then the fourth game was the historic game. Like, seriously, quit while you're ahead.

Yeah, but if they're back at the Garden, you'll go to that?

100%. And I told Ben, if we're back at the Garden, like, cardboard is all out of office.

It really was. And like, I had the best time. And like, seriously, watch— it must have been how Ben felt at the Eras Tour. Like, he had a really good time. Like, I imagine what it's like, like, taking your son or your daughter, like, their first concert or their first sporting event. Like, euphoria. I had a great time too, just like it was an amazing game, But like seeing Ben so happy, like seriously, he felt free. He was screaming, he was singing, like he was just insane. It was amazing.

And she also is probably like stacking stuff. She's probably going to be MIA for a little bit, like that sort of honeymoon phase. So she's probably getting all of her work obligations out of the way.

No, but she always is like lifting up other artists, and some of them wind up being really like her junior. But even when they're not her junior, like, there's always— she's always supporting everyone around her who's like doing good music.

But choosing Somber like doesn't send a message, you know what I mean, as like his next her— like, it's a big deal when she sort of crowns like a young pop swirly with songwriting abilities because it very much feels like a, a passing the torch in a sense. But this was like a very non-threatening choice, and he did so good.

Yeah, he really did. So she talked about her family and how she's so grateful for them moving to Nashville so she could fulfill her dream. She said it was easy to choose songwriting over everything else in my life, but it couldn't have been easy for my parents, my brother, to just pick up and move our entire family to— from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world. She said, even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I'll never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me. You're the reason I'm here tonight.

It's kind of crazy that she gave a 20-minute speech. I've seen like a bunch of clips, like I have not watched the whole thing in full and I will. Um, but I feel like a speech like about her career, like this is such a, um, you know, intimate. Yeah.

Yeah.

And Travis was there. They did not walk the carpet together, which like is annoying, but he like flew in from mini camp to be there.

So maybe like he got there late.

Her parents were also there and they were like hugging, divorced king and queen hugging, like while Taylor was talking about them. She also quoted, she quoted John Dutton, like she obviously watches Yellowstone, which I think I, I would've guessed that. Yeah. Yeah. She watches Yellowstone. Travis definitely loves it. Um, she said two things that I loved. The first was that like, and I, I felt like she was saying that like songwriting is easy for her. And it's not that like she doesn't work hard at it, but it's like a very easy thing for her to work hard at. Because when you love something so much, like, it's not a big deal.

She's jobbing her love.

Exactly. And lobbing her job. Yeah. Um, and then the John Dutton quote was like, when you really have something, like, when you create something so valuable, like, it's sort of a— what the fuck was the quote? Like, people are gonna come and steal it. Like, that's all that— like, it's just how human nature works. Like, anything worth having is like worth stealing. Yeah. And what is she saying? She was like, I took it as like reference to like her not owning her masters until recently, but she had said like your self-worth, your integrity, your art. I took it as, you know, this very like scott borchetta. Yeah.

He said, it's the one constant in life, son. You build something worth having, somebody's gonna try to take it.

Yeah.

Um, yeah. She said, John Dutton was talking about a ranch, but I'm using this quote to refer to your self-worth, your peace of mind, and your singular vision as a creator.

Yeah, the speech was really good. It was really well written. Like, she talked about how, like, she literally had to learn how to do everything in this industry. Like, nobody teaches you how to do, you know, how to protect yourself, how to operate within this, like, crazy— how to be famous. But she never had to learn how to songwrite. Like, she— nobody taught her. She just, like, it's so instinctual to her. And she, like, really, really loves and respects her parents for, like, not just sort of chalking it up to, like, a teenager phase, but, like, seeing in her what she— you know, sometimes, like, you see something when you're a teenager and it's like, yeah, sure, But her parents like really listened to her and like really believed her and like literally rooted up their whole lives. Like her dad had a job, like, mm-hmm. And just moved. It actually is so crazy.

It is so crazy to like listen to your wacky 12-year-old. But you have to just have like complete faith in your child that they are exceptional.

Well, they also have to be good. Yeah. I think a lot of times like people can't be objective about their kids. It's like, well, it's great that your kid is passionate, but they are not good.

Yeah. But I think when the time comes to quit your job and move the family, you get objective. You're like, let's hear that song, let's hear that song you wrote.

No, but I think there are like a lot of crazy stage moms who do quit their jobs and like move to LA when their kid sucks.

So I don't think that she was talking about Taylor as a bandwagon fan, but I think she was more so saying like, there's all this hoopla for the Knicks now, celebrity Taylor, everyone's going, and it's like, well, where was this energy before this week?

I think that there has always been a lot of like good celebrity energy around the Knicks.

I, yeah, I don't know why there's a lot of discourse now that's like everyone's being a fake Nick fan. I feel like that's so not true. The thing is, and nobody really wants to acknowledge this, but like a lot of— I would argue most famous people are from New York. Like, it is this beacon of like art, culture, literacy. And yeah, they maybe live in LA now, but like a lot of people's roots are here. And New York is also like a very transient city. Like, people live here for like a decade and they are New Yorkers, and maybe they're from Louisiana, but like people just like have ties here. So I don't think it's like that weird that every— yeah, if everyone randomly became like Oklahoma Oklahoma City fans, I would say, okay, maybe that's weird. I can't imagine so many people across the country having ties to Oklahoma City.

Yeah, I don't think that the celebrities are being like phony in their fandom. That's like not what I'm feeling. I feel like other people who I see like on my feed are being like a little like phony, you know, bandwagon. But like, okay, be a bandwagon fan.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Like, even if I'm a celebrity with no ties to the Knicks, but like there's a box and they're like, do you want to come? Like, how much fun to go to the NBA championship. So yeah, you'll wear a hat or a shirt of the low— like of the team of whose arena you're at. Like, I don't think there's anything weird about it. Um, And that's what we were talking about this yesterday on the, on the toast, like people gatekeeping Knicks fandom. It's like, okay, yeah, and get a life.

We know who the OGs are, like who the people who have been waiting for this moment for decades, like we know who those are. And everyone else like can be a fan, like it's fine, especially, yeah, if they've ever lived in New York, if they're from New York, if they work in New York, like it's really—

some people also just like idolize New York. It's like this dreamy sort of like fantastical city. Yeah, that— yeah, we're easy to root for, sorry. And we get We don't have a lot of moments like this, so it makes it even more exciting. Like, it's no wonder— no offense, like, no one's rooting for the Spurs unless you're from San Antonio, because this is just sort of— it feels like— I'm sorry to the Spurs, it's not your time. And it just feels like this romantic story, like, and it has to have this storybook ending.

Melania Giudice, 20-year-old daughter of Teresa Giudice, was arrested for domestic violence. Page Six can confirm the 20-year-old college student was charged with one count of simple assault on May 14th. Montville Township Chief of Police Andrew Caggiano said in a press release obtained by Page Six. Court records show that officers detained Melania after the incident occurred at 6:12 PM local time. She was scheduled to appear in court on May 19th, but no plea was entered.

But Kayla, Macy, Leila, Miranda, like, are sort of the just— and you know what, I actually appreciate that. And maybe some of them want to be that. They're sort of stable figures, like they just stay in Utah and are mom talk.

Yes. And I think that they make a really good living, and if I imagine have like happy work-life balance. And I would hope that the ones who are doing that are happy with just doing that, because I think you could live a happy life. But if they are like wanting more, then they probably feel like left behind.

Yeah, because she's doing modeling. I think Macy is content.

Me too. I think she has like shalom b'ayit, like the show hasn't ruined her life yet, and she sees that like maybe some of the other girls who like want more and desire more and like leave Utah a lot, it does sort of have a negative impact. And so I think she takes, you know, being not the most famous one in the group but being like very middle— I would say middle top.

And like she wrote her book, and so she's shared like she has her passion projects, but it doesn't— she does her collabs too far from home and far from family.

And then you're upstairs. It was the first time I felt like her anger was justified. She is a crazy person. So like she's hard to root for.

He officially did wrong. He, yeah, he moved badly. Uh, and in, in an insincere sort of way, I would say, because this whole time I support him and Seoul. I actually like love him and Seoul. I think they should be together forever. And if he does not couple up with her, Well, I guess America's— well, he's going to America's choosing, but if he like still stays with Melanie and like winds up back with Melanie, I will be like really upset with him because like, what do you mean you have this connection with Melanie when you've known each other for 5 days and you've fought for 4 of them? Like, why is that stronger than what you have with Sol, which is only happiness and light?

And I felt like last night's episode, it was just like becoming clear that so many things should happen there's like a puzzle here, and I feel like they're getting close. Obviously Melanie and Corbin should be together, like two freaks. Sincere and Soul are a match made in heaven. Yeah, Jen and Gabriel are a match made in heaven, even though we didn't even see them last night. I do feel like Kenzie and Caleb are a match made in heaven, but I feel like she doesn't like him.

No, he was like, I want to pull Kaida for a And Zach starts laughing.

Um, and Bryce is like, yeah, I would never do it without talking to you first, but like, I don't know, I just feel like I would be like upset with myself. Like, he's like, I feel like Trinity doesn't like me, and I have this like lingering thing. Like, I feel like Kaden and I have something. And Zach like was really like laughing in his face even when he knew that he was being serious. And he was like, yeah, sure. Like He's so not threatened by Zach. I think he feels very secure in— excuse me, by Bryce. But it did then, uh, Zach then also went over to Trinity and told her, and they've been having like an argument before that. She was like, you're not affectionate enough. I think he just feels that like she really doesn't like him.

I mean, she is always— maybe there are other conversations, but she's always just saying how they're not a good couple and she doesn't feel like they're as good as everybody else. And it's like like, that's annoying to hear all the time. You're making it like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Now, I will agree with her that he's not like leading with like romance and making her feel like they're in a, like, a romantic couple, because it does feel very friend—

friendship.

But I do think there's still the potential for more, and he is very committed to her. He doesn't step out. He doesn't talk to other people. Maybe nobody wants to talk to him, but I don't know. I— he seems like he means what he says. So like, she just sort of has to trust him that they will get there. But I, I could see for her why that's frustrating and why she would feel like, wait, I'm in this relationship that's not a relationship. But to constantly bring it up instead of doing something about it— instead, one, either be more affectionate with him, or two, talk to other people.

Yeah, so he hasn't talked to Kaita yet, but he like made all the arrangements. He's doing it all right, but it's sort of like this futile effort. Like, Kaita is obsessed with Zach, and Kaita sort of famously turned him away when the three of them were in bed together the first time at Paradise Cove. So it— I was shocked. I didn't realize what he was gonna say. I'm like, what is he like gearing up for. And I was like, wait, what? Like, that's your best friend's girlfriend. And also, like, you had your chance.

Well, I think it's good because I think Zach needs to appreciate Kaitlyn more. He—

and he needs to feel threatened. Yeah, like, they need to close off.

Yeah, no, when he was like not appreciating her, and so I want him to like realize that he has to like work for her and try. And like, I hope Kaitlyn like actually uses this as an opportunity to get him to get serious, motivate him into some sort of feeling of maybe jealousy or something. Okay, I did see that she was a former plus-size model, and I do think a lot of her behavior— once you've been like fat, you're, I assume, like for a part, a great portion of your adult life, and then you get skinny, you kind of like don't know how to act. I think that to say that like you're— the attention you get when you're fat and skinny from romantic partners is the same, it's just a lie. Like, it's different. So I think maybe she doesn't really know how to handle some of the attention that she gets And yeah, she does act like a preschooler, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that maybe a lot of the attention she's getting romantically, like, is new for her and she doesn't know how to handle it.

Yeah, or people are saying that, like, she acts insecure and it stems from when she was plus-size, which I just think is, like, not a good argument thing to say. Yeah, okay, it's not a good thing to say, and, like, it's just— that's not necessarily true.

Oh, this is the first year that Islanders are not allowed to have their social medias be running. Love it. A lot of— yeah, so in years past, like, you would leave your Instagram and your TikTok. Like, if I left, I would give you the keys, and then it's sort of like the captain of your fan club is like posting pictures. I think Love Island gives you a lot of content to post post, um, somebody's like running your accounts while you're gone. This is the first year that that's not happening, and I actually like it better because a lot of times like the person running the account gets canceled. Like, yeah, I found your sister's old tweets. It's insane.

It's insane. And also it adds nothing. This person has no information on what's going on. They're posting stills from the show that we are watching, and they're just like captioning and making it about themselves in some way. I think it's so good that they're not doing this. Also, this season it really seems like they did not choose pre-existing influencers, um, people with followings, anything like that. So it's not like they have an account with 500,000 followers and they want their followers to watch. I think doing it this way has been so much better.

Yeah, like Huda had like 200,000 followers before last season.

oh, I can't wait. Let's dive into our final segment of the week, which is— oh, Queenie Weenie Friday! Every Friday, last segment of the week, we like to do Queenie of the Week and Weenie of the Week. It's a self-explanatory segment where we just like give out awards to people who act like queenies and weenies. This week I feel like a lot of joy was brought this week. I'm ready to go. Let's start with Queenie. I would like to give my Queenie to somebody who sort of like flies under the radar, um, someone who never likes to make it about himself, but I'm going to make it about himself, and it's OG Anunoby. So he's responsible for the tip-in, the tip-in hurled around the world. Like, it was insane. He's a viral king. I don't know if you know, he has like so many viral moments, um, and another one happened this week. So he's in the press conference, like, he literally just saved the game, the whole game. He's so chill. Someone was like, how does it feel? He was like, I mean, everyone thought it was pretty cool. I also thought it was cool.

Like, he's so nonchalant about the whole thing. And I just, I said this the other day and it would take one quick Google search, but I've been too lazy. I hope he has a good woman at home.

Yeah, I hope so too. Obviously Queenie of the week are like the Knicks. There's an all celebrity, like everything to do.

But OG, it's been such a delight.

OG specifically, Jalen Brunson, not to be overlooked.

I mean, it was a group effort. Like, it takes more than just one person at one moment to diminish a 30-point lead.

Yes, no, but the same way, like, it takes more than just OG and that, uh, alley-oop, but it's on him. The win is on him. It's the loss on So awkward. Seriously, so I could never just like be a part of such high-stakes things.

In the same vein, my weenie of the week goes to the group of young men who destroyed a taxi cab in New York City while celebrating the Knicks win. Um, I saw the cab driver.

Yeah, and they were like taking off belts and like, like whipping the car, and there was a girl. I thought that was really embarrassing for her, like trying to impress the guys.

Oh my God, she definitely drinks beer. Such lowbrow, like, disgusting behavior. First of all, that's someone's personal property, like a cab driver who's now responsible because, like, you're an animal. Um, it bothered me so much. I saw the cab driver, he just looked like so upset and defeated, and like the cops couldn't even do anything to, like, usher his car out. I think that people like that are some of the lowest IQ individuals. Um, I think that they actually, like, don't deserve to live in the same— like, we are civilized. I don't know what what you do. Um, it really upset me. I can't believe there was a girl there. That like changes everything. Yeah. Um, that poor cab driver, like that's just someone's dad, that's someone's husband. Like seriously, just wanted to go to work and you now like his life is really upset me, like taken from him. And like, is there a GoFundMe? Like how, how was he paying for the cab? Like it really bothered me.

Yeah, it's really upsetting. Also the person who threw an egg at Wemby, big—

yeah, that makes us look so bad, you guys. Like, and like, and yet Wemby is the villain. Like he is this sort of dirty player, but like now we're worse than that. Uh, when he's a villain, it's It's a game. It's okay, Selena. It's also— it's a best—

like, it's a game. He's not the actual bit. Like, it's— he's the villain of the— of the game.

Of the game, correct. So he's also still somebody's son.

Yeah, to throw an egg is really classless, disgusting behavior.

It— it is. And I feel like— I don't know what could be done. Like, literally the NYPD is deploying all their officers, they have barricades up, but like, I don't know, I don't really feel like the players should have to like do a pap walk just getting off the bus into their hotel, you know what I mean? Like pull up into the garage, like do something.

Oh, I mean, yeah, maybe. I don't know if the bus could like fit in a—

I know, that's what I was saying to Ben. It's hard in New York City. I think sometimes if you're playing in like, you know, San Antonio, you can go in the parking lot to your hotel, right?

But they probably—

And like maybe people could just control themselves so like the players could— but they can't— steps to the hotel. Insane. Yeah, not cool. And like, also, like, I think after the first game, some— I saw a video of like some guy like bashing someone's heads in with a— they took a sign off the, like, a bus stop sign, like a street sign, street sign, and was like bashing someone's head with it. Not good.

Like, they're ruining it. They really are. Yeah, that's what I mean when I say like, I'll be okay if the Knicks win on Friday— on Saturday, like, away from home.
