Good morning, girlies.
It's The Toast. It's Jackson, Claude, and we're your hosts.
It's your favorite show, the fast 5 things you need to know.
We'll start your day off swirly. It's The Toast.
I sound amazing.
Welcome back to The Toast, and happy Thursday. That does feel like a Friday because today is our final episode of the week. Tomorrow is June 30th. And so today is the final day. So if you've got something to say, if you've got something to say, say it.
I will say it, cojurna Frederick.
Okay.
Frederick, I'll say it. Say it.
And you know what? I get the sense that you've been wanting to say it. Oh, say it.
Oh no, I'm literally coming into the show like blank slate, like mind cleared. Nothing on my mind.
I have so much on my mind, but that's just sort of what happens when you are like a woman of a certain intellect, don't you find?
Yes, I, I do find. What's on your mind, Coach Erna Sher?
Everything. Like everything. Last night was my one night off from Love Island, and like I didn't make the most of it.
Oh, I made the most of it. I went out to dinner, like a 2 and a half hour dinner, and I got home like around the same time I'd be wrapping up Love Island. And that is how I spent my night off. And it was like I wanted to see my friend and I literally told her I can only go to dinner like Wednesday and Saturday, but like Wednesday's better for me. I'm already wearing makeup from work. Mm-hmm. So we made it work. And you know what? It was really great to see my friend and to have a, a friend and to have a life. And I'll be back at the television for the next 6 nights.
It's nice to have a friend.
It really is. I can have a friend once a week.
Once a week, and that's 'cause kind of my max.
Yeah, so I made the most. You didn't make the most?
No, I didn't. Like, things just sort of got away from me. I've been really kind of like nutty about my wake windows. I find that if the second wake window is not 5 hours—
You are that girl, that creator. What's her name? I just followed her. She's my new favorite creator.
I just followed her too.
Oh my God, I actually laugh out loud at her stuff.
Log it in the app.
Yeah.
Log it, the Log It In The App Girl. That's her name.
Yeah. Her name is, hold on, you guys have—
I just followed her on TikTok yesterday.
Her name is Deborah Queck Gilbert. If you are a mother, you have to follow her. If you're, you know, if you like comedy, you have to follow her. But like you will seriously relate if you're a mom. It's tears in my eyes.
Yes, it's true. So I am the Log It In The App Girl. I just like kind of really need my second wake window to be 5 hours cuz then I get to sleep. Til 7, 7:30. Like that's just sort of, so when you wake up late from a nap, like we didn't go to bed till 7:30. So then it was just sort of like already deep into the night at 7:30. And then like the sushi we ordered, like was at the restaurant, but the courier wasn't there. It was just like drama. By the time I ate dinner, it was like 9 o'clock. It was time for bed. Like I didn't do anything productive. I didn't watch anything. I didn't read anything. I just like rotted and waited for my food. It was just like a bad use of my time.
I'm sorry. That happens.
I hate, like, it was upsetting.
I'm very sorry, maybe next Wednesday you'll have better luck out there.
Yeah, I did actually, that's not true, I watched one thing, I watched Emily Kaiser on Jay Shetty, not the whole thing yet, I just wanna say, 'cause I don't feel like it gets said enough, that I would lay my life out for Emily Kaiser, I love her so much. She, it like shocks me every time someone reminds me that she's 27.
Wow.
And that when her, when that incident with her son occurred, she was 25. Like, that's insane. It's also insane, and it really speaks to like the evil nature of internet, and I'm sorry, mainly women, that like she's somebody who gets hate.
Yeah.
You know? Even the comments, like, they're overwhelmingly positive, but like the fact that there is a person on this earth who could find one negative thing to say about Emily Kaiser and what she went through, like, it really speaks to like the evil of human nature. Like, there are such evil people out there. I think she's so well-spoken in the interview. —And I thought Jay Shetty did an amazing job. Like, it's a tough interview to conduct. It was just, like, it's heartbreaking, and she's so mature. She just says things, and I'm like, oh my God. 'Cause I think a big question is like, you know, this incident with her son happened while she was out of the house. Like, how do you forgive your husband?
Yeah, I saw this tweet.
And all the comments are like, if that was my husband, it's like, girl, shut the fuck up. Like, seriously, shut the fuck up. I'm about to choke someone in the comments.
No, and I think you think, like, if that was your husband, like, you don't know how you could ever forgive them. And she explains how, like, she went through all of those feelings Yeah, but she also said like, this was a preventable accident.
So like, it literally, it could have been her.
Yeah, that, and that's what like sort of—
And she was like, I'm trying to give him the forgiveness that I would so badly want him to have given me if it was me in this situation versus him. And it's just like, that's literally a 27-year-old girl. Like, it's just insane to think about her level of maturity and what she's been through and how she's handled the whole thing. And like, and coming back, she has to work. So like still making content, like, It's insane when you think about her age. And I thought the interview was excellent and I love her so much and I will seriously defend her always. Like, she's my number one and she's also my comfort creator. Like, yeah, and it's like, when we were talking yesterday on the toast about like doing the dishes, like, that's her. I love her.
I know. And it's like, aside from the fact, like, who could have something negative to say to a person who's like grieving and so heartbroken? But it's like, even before all of that, like, her content is just like pargy and lovely. And like, really, what nega— negative thing would you have to say about any of that? And people find a way.
They do. It's the whole situation has really spoken to how awful, like even when the situation was unfolding and we weren't entirely sure if this situation was about Emily, people were showing up at her house, you know, going to the city hall, trying to unseal documents, like just genuine evil walks among us and it's chill, this was a chilling reminder of that. I just love her. Like, I will like seriously protect her at all costs.
Yeah, yeah.
That's what I did last night.
No, I've been seeing clips from it and everyone is like sharing that it was just so amazing.
It was amazing. Like, it was amazing.
Yeah, that's a really great like place to go and share.
I know. I don't know if I knew that. Talk about things. Did they announce it or anything or?
Not until like the day before.
Got it, okay. Yeah, I didn't know that and I, Yeah, it's a perfect place. He's so good.
Yeah.
Did you see he just signed a huge deal with Netflix?
I saw, and he brought a tear out of Turdy, don't forget.
Oh, well, 100%. I, yes, I also went on Jay Shetty. Yeah. Um, and I cried the whole time. I was pregnant. Not that I probably, I probably would've cried regardless.
You know, you do this podcast every day. You do this podcast every day. You don't cry every day when you're pregnant.
I do cry a lot, either from laughing or crying.
I guess you, I guess you have cried. I wouldn't say you cry a lot.
No, I've probably cried on this podcast. Are we talking about like crying from laughter or no?
No, no, no.
I've probably cried like 10 times over 8 years.
No, so that's not a lot.
No, it's not, it's not. But I did cry on Jay Shetty. That's what he does. He talks about like the hard stuff. And I was also pregnant, just like, I won't credit him for that.
No, but it was a very revelatory episode. Not to make it like about—
No, I would never.
I did it. It was me, I did it. I made it about her.
It was her. Mama's getter.
Well, we have some other podcasting news today. The podcasts are making news while Love Island took a night off. Yeah, Olivia Wilde on Call Her Daddy mentioning it all.
Oh yeah, mentioning it all. Yeah, Love Island not being on was lovely. Although I did miss my peeps. Like, I mean, truly.
I know, I was thinking a little bit, like I was having a little bit of withdrawal.
Like, it's good, but it's bad, you know?
Yeah. It's good. It is, it's good, but it's bad. Yeah, we could say that. We could say it. And we are committed to watching it. I've gotten into like a good routine with it. So like, people who are like, keep watching or stop watching, like, I'm keeping watching until further notice.
Same. What else is new with you, Jax? You're wearing all pink, you're looking like a little ballerina today.
Thank you so much. In honor of Ballerina Farm. What's new with me? I've got a pargi loaf started this morning. I'm happy to say that the starter is rising. Rising. She has risen.
Oh yes!
And I made a loaf a couple days ago with my new starter that is like, you know, my relative but distant relative, and we are getting closer. The loaf was pargi. It always is. Thank you. And I've got one going again today, so I'm in loaf mode, you know.
Oh yeah, rise and grind, literally. So glad to hear.
Yeah, the starter, the start.
Yeah, the starter's come full circle. Okay, nevermind, I actually did watch something last night. I watched, and you know what, I have this like toxic relationship with this show, Four Seasons.
I've seen it, the first season.
Oh, did you? Mm-hmm. The second season is out. I'm telling you, I like this show so much. Like, it's so not me. It is hysterical. Like, it's very rare that I watch a show and I actually like laugh out loud, but there's so many, the writing on this show is excellent. I was like cracking up at multiple like just conversations. It's such a good show. I'm into spring, so I'm in season number 2. I really like it, also reminds me of postpartum 'cause that's when I watched it the first time. Time, it was like such a sweet little show. I really like it.
Why do you feel like it's so not you? It's like Tina Fey.
I don't know, it just feels not me. It's also not, it's kind of like a show for boomers.
I don't think so, 'cause that's not the demo of like the people, like Colman Domingo.
Yes, it's a much, it's an older show. And Colman Domingo, by the way, is the star of the show. He's seriously so fucking funny. I don't know if I've ever seen him in anything comedic. Like in Euphoria, he's kind of like serious. Oh my God, hysterical. I'm always cracking up at him and his husband. I think the show gears more towards like an older gen. And I never see anyone talking about it. Like, is it popular?
I think that it is. What's that viral clip that's like, I'm looking, oh, from Lizzie McGuire premiere of the little brother. I'm looking forward to cracking up.
Cracking up. That's literally me when I'm sat for 4 seasons. I think I'm looking forward to cracking up.
That's me every day. Like, I'm constantly cracking and/or looking forward to cracking.
It's one of my favorite activities, cracking up. And when I, and I feel like a lot of times you say LOL or LMFAO and like you're overexaggerating. Not me. I am, when I'm cracking, I'm cracking.
Yeah, I see you.
I see you. I'm cracking up, our new favorite acronym that we invented.
I'm looking forward to cracking up.
I really am. It's one of my favorite, like my hobbies include cracking up.
I agree wholeheartedly.
Now my sister Olivia calling me.
Oh, pick up, tell her she's live. Let's see, let's get a new mama update.
Oh my God, she's so funny. She's right, she's cracking up. Hold on. Oh, she's like, I realize you're recording, but I reposted something really weird on TikTok. And she was like, you might wanna un-repost this.
Tell us what it is.
I didn't repost this. It's like, okay.
Maybe she's like doing a prank.
No, no, she's right.
What was it?
Thank you. What was it? It was like low-key politics. Like I'm not getting involved. What's politics? Claudia. Yeah, it was like politics I'm not even involved in. Like, oh my God. Not the third rail. No, no, it was just like drama.
What's the drama?
I'll tell you about it later. If you saw me repost that, yes, it was an accident.
I need to know what it was.
I was thinking like, who the fuck is calling me? Everybody knows I never get calls during the toast. Everyone in my life knows. Yeah, do not look for me before noon.
No, and I'm on do not disturb. And then yesterday it was like 3 o'clock and I just happened to see I had a missed call like while we were doing the toast from someone who like doesn't know me like that. And I was like, well, oh my gosh, I have to call this individual back. It was very important and I got a hold of her, but like I couldn't miss that.
Have I talked about Drizzlelicious here on this pod?
Yeah, we, we talk about it a lot.
Oh, do we? Okay, Drizzlelicious is like having a national moment. I don't know where the fuck it came from, but I just found out it's a Jewish-owned brand, sly.
I mean, of course, licious. They should, I should do a sponsorship with them, lish.
I just wanna put it out there that I would like to do a collaborative flavor. So the bodega by my house like is obviously like a supplier because they have every flavor.
No, the amount of shelf space this brand gets, and even before it like this big renaissance, like it just showed up one day and it took over the shelves. Like at Publix, like you had no choice but to buy it. And I'm glad because I love it, but like, We did not have a choice.
Yeah, remember when everybody one day just like showed up wearing the Bar sweatshirts and I was like, where, who, what, when? That's how I feel about Jizzalicious. It's everywhere.
But it's everywhere for a reason.
In my Mahjong group, when we play, everybody brings a new flavor. So yesterday we did birthday cake, which I loved, and then I bought some like at my bodega for my house. We've done cinnamon swirl. I need to try, we just brought home, Chocolate strawberry, which I'm a little suspicious about. I've only had one flavor that's legit bad and it's the lemon. But somebody at Mahjong was like, have you guys had the lemon? It's the best. I'm like, oh, you're disgusting. You're not, but like, it's so personal.
It is. But I feel like that's pretty objective. When you do a flavor with them, it should be called Turtle-ish. Turtle-icious.
I seriously love Drizzle-icious so much. Turtle-icious. Okay, wait, we could do Drizzle-icious x Turdy and it's like a really chocolate flavor. It's like, Chocolate. That's great. They'll love that. I love Drizzlicious. I wish I invented it myself. I dream of Drizzlicious.
That's so crazy.
I know.
Well, the place looks great. Let's get into the stories. Yeah, we've got a lot to do. We've got a lot to do today. We've gotta wrap up the week in a Pargi manner. So without further a-did-a-did-a-do, here are the Fast Five stories that you'd-a-do need to know.

Today's episode of The Toast is also brought to you by The Absorption Company.
Ah.
So most people assume that if they're taking supplements every day, they're getting the benefits. But the reality is the vast majority of supplements have incredibly low absorption rates. So that means most of what people spend money on actually never gets inside their body. And The Absorption Company is focused on solving that exact problem with pharmaceutical-grade absorption technology designed to help nutrients actually work. Because no matter how powerful a supplement is on paper, it only matters if your body is absorbing it. And they have tons of products that are really popular. Most importantly is their berberine. I'm sure you guys have heard of berberine. It's called Nature's Ozempic. But a, a problem that a lot of people don't know about it is that most berberine absorbs at less than 1%, meaning that many people never experience the full metabolic and blood sugar re— benefits. And The Absorption Company developed a clinically studied berberine that absorbs over 6 times better. It helps people support cravings, insulin sensitivity, and blood sugar more effectively. Also, their magnesium is Pargi. You know, we love the power of magnesium here at The Toast. Magnesium is so good for you. It supports over 300 bodily function.
It promotes better sleep, muscle recovery, regulates your stress, your mood, and so much more. But again, most magnesium absorbs between 4 and 8%, and their magnesium absorbs 8 times better than the standard one. So you get better sleep, better muscle recovery, just better everything, better absorption. Start taking your supplements that you can actually absorb and check out the Absorption Company. Go to absorbmore.com, enter code TOSTA checkout for up to 35% off your first order. That's absorbmore.com, enter code T-O-A-S-T for 35% off your first order. Our first story, aforementioned Olivia Wilde on Call Her Daddy. She is addressing the Don't Worry Darling drama, her divorce, her relationship with Harold Styles.
I also think that this interview is like, I'm back. I didn't know she left, but yeah, I guess she has been relatively quiet.
She has been quiet. I guess she has a new movie coming out. So directing or starring? Um, probably directing and starring. Doesn't she do both?
She's so funny to me. Like, she kind of— I kind of like missed her. She has like a lot of guys like dream girl. Like, I don't really know where she came from. I don't—
The OC? Yeah, yeah.
She— I just kind of like— she sort of passed me by.
Mhm.
And now fandom, but people are obsessed with her.
Well, then she sort of Took a left turn.
Yes, and I think there was a lot, she's a good guest for Call Her Daddy 'cause she has like a lot of things to talk about.
She's got a lot of explaining to do.
She does, her public divorce, which was just so crazy, like the rumors about the nanny laying in front of the car, the divorce papers on stage, which she talked about on the podcast.
The movie, that felt like a real movie.
Of course the Harry Styles relationship and then the movie Shia, Shia, Shia.
Miss Glo.
When I talk about like insufferable, like feminine, female, females, like feminists, fake feminists, I'm always like low-key talking about Olivia Wilde. Like she's the example in my head that I use for just like insufferable women talking about women who are actually like not those types. I think about like Emily Ratajkowski too. I think of them in the same bucket. So I'm really not like her number one fan. I do think the interview, was good for her. She came across really likable.
Mm-hmm.
And honest.
Yeah.
I think obviously the most important thing is her relationship with Harry Styles. And what I wish she had just said is like a big fuck you to everyone, 'cause Alex is like, I mean, like, I can't believe, like, why everyone? And it's like, well, they're just jealous. Like, we wouldn't just acknowledge the jealousy thing. First of all, younger girls are jealous, 'cause it's like, this is my guy, who are you? Older women are jealous, you're living my fantasy. The element of jealousy didn't come up in the conversation, and I wish it did, 'cause like, that was the whole thing.
No, and also just like, they love Harry, that's not who they wanted to see him with.
Well, she did say, talk about the parasocial relationship his fans have, and she was very particular about her wording, 'cause she knows, you know, she's been, she's seen their wrath, and I don't think she wanted to feel it again. But there are a lot of mentally ills in that. It is, can border on being a toxic stan community. And so I do feel for her. That could not have been easy, honestly. It's The Idea of You. It's literally that book.
Well, yeah, that was based on them, right? What came first?
No, the book came out before.
The book came out first?
It was art imitate— no, it was life imitating art. It was kind of spooky how similar it was.
Yeah. Oh, that's crazy. Well, she talks about a lot. She talks about the Don't Worry Darling drama, which was the craziest drama of its year. She talked about how it was COVID, so everything was already like, Upside Down. I think it was like 2020. The film came out in 2022. I mean, COVID went on. When did it end?
I'm sorry. That's not COVID.
Actually, I think it was. I think it was like Omnicron.
No, I'm sorry. When we blame COVID for things, you get 2020 and 2021. That's it.
But when was Omni?
Yeah, but Omnicron, like people were like, we were out, like we were being more careful, but like everyone was out.
Not everyone.
I'm talking about being jailed. Like, that's COVID. Oh, you know what? I fell down a rabbit hole today. Are you familiar? The Redheads covering like the Amy Griffin drama?
Who's that?
So Amy Griffin wrote a book.
Yes, a memoir.
But then her classmate said, "This happened to me." So it's the memoir about like discovering that she had been sexually assaulted as a child only because she did MDMA and the memories came back to her. Like she had no memory of it. And then a former schoolmate of hers was like, Excuse me, this happened to me. It's like a Jane Doe lawsuit. And she was like, what the hell are you talking about? New York Times did like a whole investigation, like supporting the Jane Doe's claim. Now the author's hitting back. And you know what? I'm, I'm just on the side of whoever's telling me their story. 'Cause I was listening to like somebody break down Amy Griffin's version and I'm like, oh, I believe you. So I'm not 100%. It's kind of a crazy saga. I need a movie about the saga to explain it to me fully.
And what did Amy Griffin say in her defense?
In her, she poked a lot of holes in Jane Doe's proof, making Jane Doe like actually look like completely like a liar. I don't know, like it was, she was also coming for the New York Times saying that the New York Times was like a little chadet in their investigation, which I do believe as well. So it's kind of a saga I'm not 100% kept up on, but I love her book.
Yeah, I think you would also have to like read the book.
Yeah, no, I didn't read any of it. And I think if you, it was a Belle Burdens of its time, like on a smaller scale, it was like the It book last year.
Last year, I wasn't reading last year.
She was like the darling of literacy. And then this former classmate is like, excuse me, you stole, this is my trauma. Like, and it is very niche.
Is it possible that it happened to both of them?
So I think Amy Griffin is alleging like, it also happened to me.
Yeah. And who did it? Who done it?
Amy Griffin.
Like what happened?
Oh, I don't know.
Oh, okay. Okay. Well, back to this story. Sorry, yeah. Olivia Wilde's talking about all the drama. I mean, that was the biggest story of its time.
Yes, it was.
And it was a little bit of COVID She said, I've never felt more disconnected from the person that we, people were talking about. It's also very strange to see complete fiction traded as fact. There was all this public madness, but my private life was very far from it and very actually kind of wholesome and sweet. I had a lot of real joy and happiness during that time. It was like the tornado was right outside the door, and if you were inside, you were like, it's so nice. Then you'd open the door and a fucking cow and a tractor would fly by. So I guess she's talking about like in her relationship with Harry at the time, she was in a happy place because they were together. And you know, she's saying it was just like very misconstrued, and she wanted to be like, can I just talk to people? Can I go and say like, that's not true? And it was like, no, that won't help. And that was really hard. And now she sort of feels like she should have shared that at the time. She thinks— she says, I think that in my own attempt to be strong and to kind of like rise above it, it came off as inauthentic.
Okay, like, I don't really care about any element of this besides Shia. Shia, Shia. Because all of the drama up until that point, that could be explained away, but it was, I feel very detrimental to her image because it was so incongruous with this, the future is female, girl boss, but you're bringing in a predator and begging him to come work on your movie even though your star Flo, Miss Flo, has asked you not to. And you're now caught on video begging this really abusive, ill, actor to come on your movie.
Yeah, yeah. So it's like, I wish she— so she's on the show like saying it's not true, but like there are things that we know as—
So what's not— what is not true?
Oh, that like, I, you know, the narrative that like everyone was fighting on the movie, that Florence, you know, had to produce herself because Olivia's off with Harry and like—
Yeah, I want to say I, I don't believe that that was—
But here are the things that are true: the video, the other The fact that Florence did not promote the movie. There was obviously a schism. Did Chris Pine spit on Harry Styles?
I don't think he did.
So, but like, can you, can you address that?
That was such a crazy time. Yeah, I feel like she went into detail on a lot of stuff except this. She spoke very generally about it and it's like, well, I would like to know more. To me, the only thing she's really guilty of is the Shia thing and that's a big thing. And I feel like it was very damaging. Like, she was a lot of like, a lot of swirlies, like number one girl boss, inspiring female director. And it's like, here you are being awful. So she didn't really talk about that part, which to me was the most damning part of the whole saga. Yes, the spitting, Ms. Flo having sex on set, but like, no, the Shia thing.
There were so many like iconic things that came out of this saga. Shia, Shia, Shia, a movie that feels like a real movie.
Movie, yeah.
Even when she addressed the rumors, she said, as far as for the endless tabloid gossip and all the noise out there, I mean, the internet feeds itself. I don't feel the need to contribute. I think it's sufficiently well nourished.
Okay, like, yeah, we're getting back to like that insufferable female girl boss.
Mm-hmm.
Um, but this is a good get for Alex.
Yeah, no, it's a good interview on both their parts. I like— I think a good interview in general is like someone who has been talked about a lot, misunderstood in some ways, who's ready to like speak their mind and, and let people, you know, take it or leave it.
Yeah. She has had so many arcs in her career cuz she was also talking on the podcast about how she was at one point Maxim Hot 100 number one girl. And it's like, oh yeah, that was like, I think on the heels of The O.C. And that's why she's like so many guys' like dream girl.
Yeah.
Because she is also that. —Yeah. Now she's like girl boss director. But the Maxim to girl boss pipeline, I guess, is a thing.
I do think that it's a thing, 'cause you get like so objectified.
Yeah.
And like sexualizing, you're like, don't look at me, look at the work.
Here's my work. Yeah.
Yeah. And so you're like off camera, 'cause you wanna show everyone the work.
What's inside. Yeah.
Don't look at me, but I'm gonna star in the movie. But I'm not filming.
But she's not filming.
Right. She talked about getting the divorce papers served to her on stage, like, and how shocking that was.
She said that Jason Sudeikis, like, to this day swears that he did not tell the lawyers to do that. And she says, like, I do know that lawyers do get crazy. So for the sake— she said, I have to believe him. Like, I didn't get the sense that she instinctually believed him. She was like, I have to believe him because if I think the alternative, like, it will ruin her life.
Yeah, I don't know these people, but I guess I just like believe people, you know?
Yeah, she was like—
Until you give me a reason not to.
She thought she was in the clear because like while it was humiliating, it was this like corporate no phones event. So she was like, all right, that was humiliating, but like it's in this room. By the time she's off stage, she's like, it was everywhere. So much so that like a few weeks later she met Tom Cruise.
Yeah.
And he was like, I'm so sorry that happened to you.
Yeah. And she like didn't realize that Tom Cruise had seen it.
Yeah, that's how big it was. It really was huge. I forgot, I forget like there was a time where on this show we were talking about Olivia Wilde every day.
Yeah, yeah. Crazy times. Crazy times. Anyway, enjoy the episode. Are you ready for our next story? Mm-hmm. Lindsay Hubbard is kind of coming for mija.
For mija? But like Lindsay invented mija. Lindsay was the one who like got, who started the whole thing with the horsehair. Okay, it's all going down on Threads.
Lindsay is reacting to Sierra's— to Sierra— no, I have the screenshots, you don't need to download Threads. But I—
You know what? Cryptic post.
But Claudia, even if you downloaded Threads, like, you might miss this, so it's fine. So she's reacting to— Sierra posted a cryptic post and now Lindsay's calling out Mija. So Sierra posted an image, like a GIF, of like a girl, like, like sort of seeming like exhausted by something. Okay. And Lindsay replied, assuming this is because Mija is telling you one thing and still talking to West on the phone every day. Then someone else tweeted separately, like a Bravo account, said, "Mija and Wes talked for 6 hours post-reunion, girl." And Mija responded saying, "And if I wanna yell at my ex for 6 hours straight, that's my God-given right." Ooh, okay.
So, you know, we posted a clip of our conversation from yesterday.
Yeah.
Talking about how that was like a low point of the episode and Sierra's really above that. And I was a little afraid to post it.
I know, I was actually surprised that we posted it.
I know, 'cause I just feel like— Before anyone saw it. And rightfully so. Like, we shouldn't be criticizing Sierra right now. She is the victim. And it's like, it's— it was sort of— it was a very hot take. And I feel like if you say anything in Summer House discourse that's not like, slay, slay, slay Sierra, like, you're the opposition. So I was a little afraid, and I was shocked to see the comments, like, were overwhelmingly agreeing with us that, like, it was just a bad look for Sierra and that Mija is just kind of like not the vibe. And so I think that The fact that the clip was so well received speaks to the general tone of like how the episode was received. And I think for the first time in this whole saga, it was the first time that Sierra got like something other than just unbridled support and love. And so I don't know if that makes her hate Mija or, but she like, I don't know, she, I don't know. Like she did sit there and like support everything she was saying, even though yeah, Mija, like I just wanna say are not the same.
But Sierra posting that GIF, like there was nothing to do with Mija and her posting that. It was Lindsay who made about Mija. Now maybe Lindsay knows more than we do, and she knows that that is about Mija. But like, I don't even think it's Sierra turning on Mija yet. I think it's just like Lindsey out of nowhere just really calling it like she sees it. And I guess Lindsey's— beyond the 6-hour conversation, which I can forgive a 6-hour conversation, like, listen, you apparently had a year-long relationship, it's coming to an end, the reunion was the final thing, 6 hours, let's get after it, whatever. But Lindsey saying that Mija is still talking to Wes on the phone every day and saying that yesterday.
Yeah, I fear that all of this is only sort of supporting and furthering the idea that Mija will be a new castmate on Southern House. And—
But the more that Mija engages with the show, the more it's clear that she should not be on the show. But the show is taking it as like, oh, she's the storyline now. But like, no, she's the storyline, and the, the line is saying no, no. Because we felt that way, other people felt that way. I'm not seeing a lot of like love and hatred.
Mija love.
And, and it's not even that I'm seeing hate for Mija, I'm seeing a lot of disinterest. And I said to you, like, just worse, Mija is the Dino of Summer House.
Yeah.
Like, I care about what's happening on this show.
Yeah, agreed. And also her storyline is very much still connected to Wes, who has been fired. So if we're not gonna hear If we're not gonna have Wes on the show and here's a girl whose whole thing is that she's still wrapped up with Wes, like that doesn't help.
But I think probably the network and maybe some people would find it empowering that it's like he, you know, treated me how, the way that he did.
Well, I think the network thought that that episode with Sierra would be empowering too and it fell flat.
Yeah, yeah, I think, you know, the idea that like she, he kept her off the show, he didn't wanna put her on the show, he kept her in the dark and now she took his job is like.
And she, but like the fact, like, I don't see it that way, but that's also just because I'm a critical thinker.
On paper, it's an empowering story. In practice—
On paper.
In practice, I'm not liking it.
No, what we're not seeing on paper is like this person who willingly accepted like offensive behavior from her partner.
Crumbs.
And thought that that was a relationship and it's not. And the only pictures we have of you two are in bed was because he wouldn't let you out of the house. Like he wouldn't be seen with you in public. Like that's— That is like genuinely like one of the most hurtful and mean things a guy can do to you, like not wanting to be seen with you.
Yeah, and I mean, I can understand how in the beginning, like a few months, it's like we're keeping this under wraps, it's just me and you, like let's figure out what this is before we like let the world in. But a year?
He never let the world in. All of their pictures are indoors.
Yeah, there was like one that looked to be at a game or something, but I'm sure it was like Classic West with other people around too, so it's like —Inconspicuous.
Very sinister. And when are we or they or someone, like, gonna talk about Wes' grandma? Like, what happened to that?
Thank you. When is someone gonna talk about Wes' grandma? And especially for the aftermath—
Wes' grandma.
For the aftermath episode.
Right.
That should have been included because I'm sorry, his grandma was murdered by his cousin—
Cousin.
The day that he filmed the reunion. That's relevant?
Yeah, to your state of mind.
How's that affecting him and maybe his relationship? Like, his— that we need to talk about the grandma.
Perhaps it can inform some of his behavior during the reunion. He was in a state of shock. Like, literally anything.
No, and it's like, maybe they don't want to complicate the storyline, or maybe they don't want people to have any sympathy for Wes, but like We are— Sorry, it's relevant. We are capable of processing multiple emotions at once.
It's relevant information, sorry.
And it's really the craziest story we ever heard. It was almost crazier than the fact that Amanda and Wes even gave it a go. It was cousin killed their grandma?
Step-grandma.
Who raised them. The grandma who stepped up.
Not the step-grandma, the grandma who stepped up.
She's the grandma who stepped up. Like, I think she was gran.
Like, in their lives, for sure. I thought it was like, I thought it was that grandma had passed away and so this was just like the girlfriend.
No, I don't think she was like a late-in-life girlfriend. I think it was like a long-term girlfriend. So not only have you lost the grandma who stepped up, but your cousin is a murderer.
That's the real shocker.
And if he's not that close with these people, just say that and we can move on. But we need to address it.
It hasn't been brought up once. That's— and like, I feel like collectively people have forgotten about it. I have not.
I forgot. No. And then you reminded me, and we need to discuss it. And yeah, but I guess that's a wrap on West Wilson, right?
So we'll never hear about the grandma. But I, I need one of those true crime podcasts to—
Or his podcast. His podcast. Why doesn't he talk about it?
Because he's too busy like being insufferable.
No, he absolutely needs to talk about it. It, even if it's just to say like why he's not talking about it, like why he doesn't want to talk about it. Just be like, it's been very—
Even more curious now because no one's talking about it.
Yeah, so even if he said it's very painful, it's ongoing investigation, I can't talk about it, but you just meant like that it happened, or did it even happen?
No, it did? Question mark. It's a really— What did Sierra mean with—
by that GIF? I don't know. I don't know. But Lindsay took it upon herself to, you know, swipe at Mija from the side.
I love it. But I'm shocked that Lindsay's not like team Mija.
I know, but Lindsay is a critical thinker. And so not everything is going to be just like—
All or nothing.
All or nothing. Like, okay, I can support you, but also call you out when you're, acting wrong.
Yeah.
Even in her conversation with Amanda, it was so layered in terms of like, it wasn't just all hate, all criticism.
There was a little support.
There was support and, and love and tenderness while also toughness.
Absolutely.
We'd love to see that from our faves.
We do. Holding like, and at a certain point, like, I, I was looking for one person on this cast to show the tiniest bit of sympathy for Amanda. Like, she's still a human being who deserves like life.
Yeah, yeah. So while yes, Miha was treated wrongly by West for over a year and then ultimately cheated on and broken up by him, like, and I can have, you know, empathy for you, why are you talking to him every single day continuing doormat behavior?
And just her tone. Well, yes, like kind of admitting what she accepted was a bad look for her. Her tone of the whole thing wasn't giving mad, it wasn't giving over it. It was giving like very much petty and It was not mature, that's what I meant when I said that it was very beneath Sierra.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Are you ready for our next story?
Mm-hmm.
Little Nick's News.
Oh my God, the parade is happening right now. I heard, first of all, I don't even know when it starts, but I heard that all the checkpoints were completely full by 6:00 AM. I saw a video of people getting off on the subway station, not being able to go up the stairs. Stuck in the subway station.
Oh my God.
My fucking nightmare.
Yeah, that's really crazy. The parade's happening today. Big, big news. Alicia Keys is set to close out the parade.
Probably.
That's gonna be sick. With a rendition of Empire State of Mind.
Of course.
That will be great.
Of course. Yeah.
Also, Ben Stiller is doing a Knicks docuseries with A24, HBO, and the NBA after the Knicks championship win.
Yeah.
So the series will chronicle the history, culture, and enduring legacy of the Knicks, culminating with the franchise's first NBA championship in 53 years.
53 years. So I love this. Like, I do think that this— it really, the whole saga has felt like a storybook ending. There's so much history. So explaining it to the world in a documentary format with HBO is great. I think we knew this because Ben Stiller was like granted access for the last, like, couple of weeks to the Knicks playoffs. He was at every practice. He was like filming a lot of shit on his phone horizontally. So people knew that it was a documentary coming. And I just wanna say like, my level of interest in watching Ben Stiller's shaky horizontal iPhone content is a zero. Like, I love this concept. I think Ben Stiller being attached to the project is brilliant. But like, when it comes to like actual footage captured by him and his backpack and his iPhone, like, I'm good. I have TikTok. Like, I could do that on my own. Bring in a camera. A camera.
He went on Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart's podcast called—
Oh, you're kidding.
Called Roommates. Um, and he said, obviously I've been shooting some stuff on my phone, but it's going to be all about all eras of the Knicks and this team. Obviously there's a culmination here of something that's been going on for a long time. It's super exciting. It's great to have had all this access to your team. We're going to probably be shooting a little bit more during next season, and I'm gonna hit you guys up for some interviews. It's going to be over the next year that we'll be working on it. A lot of people have wanted to make it happen for a long time.
Yeah, no, it's a story that I think like people might not understand. Like I whole fully. So having— but I wonder why it's like Spike Lee, who's like an actual Oscar-winning like director, isn't attached to it.
I don't know, but I'm not complaining. But A24 is also on it, and so they're probably like the moviemakers of this. It sort of reminds me of that Cowboys docuseries that we had watched that like tra— it was just like the arc of the Cowboys, but it really like talked about their story, especially in the '90s, and their legacy. And you know, now they're like in a lull, But just mapping out the history and like the arc of the team. So I'm sure it will go from like, you know, the last championship till now. And it'll just be like a lot more, even more history than, than Ben Stiller's iPhone footage.
From your mouth to God's ears.
Maybe they should have gotten Rick Burns.
I mean, there are so many famous Knicks fans. Like I'm sure Mariska Hargitay is doing the voiceover, like just from the first, like, just from Celebrity Row.
Jimmy was also filming Horizontal.
Just from Celebrity Row, they could put together like a mean cast and crew.
Yeah.
Tracy Morgan doing like standup for the team, like a million things.
Yeah, but I do hope it's like, it's quality.
Same.
The same, the way the Cowboys was, was really quality. The way like, you know, the New York Rick Burns series, like just like lots of archival footage.
Yeah.
And, and for everyone, like, not just, not just like hardcore Knicks fans, like a real storytelling.
Yeah. And I think it's probably obviously because they won, it's a good time, but like so many of the players from the last championship that they won, like 1972, are still alive. Like those Knicks legends and they like travel with the team and stuff. So like getting those stories on tape.
Yeah. Like the Michael Irvin of the, of the Knicks. That's like the, the Cowboys had that documentary.
Oh, I was like, I think you're saying Patrick Ewing.
I think you said Patrick Ewing wrong.
Like Walt Frasier and Bill Bradley. Yeah, that's right. I know the legends. Legends. We will let—
Oh, also a little more Knicks news was that Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were spotted biking on CitiBikes.
Oh yeah, a little more Knicks news.
She's whipped.
Yeah, she was CitiBiking in ballet flats, which like is so crazy.
Yeah.
I will say like CitiBikes are like image-wise very cool. It's a well-maintained program we have here. Like the bikes, I feel like a lot of times when you just like leave a bike out in the street, like it becomes like an encampment. No, it's like very well maintained, it's secure. I wonder if like they did the one-time pass or if like Timothy has an annual. They're pretty clean given it's like public. So like, I think it's insane that Kylie's on a city bike.
It's insane that she's on a city bike.
In the city, like city bikes are very chic. It's very— the great equalizer. Like, kind of the subway. Like, every— oh, you see celebrities on the subway. Like, it is the most effective way of getting around the city. Like, Andy Cohen's on it every morning. You can see celebrities on the subway. It's kind of the same goes for Citi Bike. Like, it looks crazy, but it's actually not.
No, it's so crazy. And she could have had, like, you know, a Schwinn delivered to her door if, like, she had the idea that she wanted to go biking. I think it's absolutely insane that she's on the Citi Bike. But, like, if you have a show and love— because, you know, this was Timothée's idea.
If you have a Schwinn, like, then you have to park the Schwinn. No, her bike actually started in the garbage. She's done. This was definitely Timothy's idea. And I just wanna say like, yes, I have city biked as well.
So like Kylie and I have that in common. Where did you city bike to and was it your idea?
It was, I don't know whose idea it was. Ben and I did it. It was when I was an NYU student, but I was like living uptown. So we were like, should we city bike and we just like, like tried to get as much uptown as we could. It was like a beautiful day and we were like obviously on crack. I've done it a couple of times. I don't like like the thing where they have like a little area for your bag and there's like a strap that goes over it. It's not secure enough. Like if you have precious cargo, like you really can't.
Yeah, like, oh, she's wearing a mini bag, but she did put it in the basket.
With like, you see that like one little strap over it? It's not secure in my opinion.
No, no. Oh my God, she's so in love. Like seriously.
Ballet flats. I just know she has blisters.
Yeah. Yeah, they do look cute though. Well, they always do.
I am looking forward to seeing the Knicks parade like on TV. I imagine it's amazing to be there, but I saw a girl who like literally got front row bleacher. She was there at 2:30 this morning.
Like, it was a hair named Ben Soffer.
Yeah, right. Life hack is like having an apartment that like looks over the street where the parade is. It's all the way downtown, like by City Hall.
Yeah.
So it's actually like, it's a lot of like public office buildings.
No, and it's like you would live there for, 53 years before you get to sleep on your period.
Just one morning, right?
Or you could just wake up at 2:30 once and live wherever you want.
I like that, that's a good trade. Are you ready for our next story? It's our next story that's brought to you by Truvia. It's Truvia Allulose plus Stevia sweetener and Monk Fruit sweetener. And your calculator.
Correct. It blends allulose with stevia sweetener and monk fruit sweetener, so it delivers a mellow, well-rounded sweetness, but without the sharp aftertaste. It's also very adaptable, so it works well in drinks and baked goods. I use it in my coffee, but it also does in sauces, savory meals. The Truvia Allulose Stevia Sweetener Monk Fruit Sweetener combines 3 complementary sweeteners to create a sugar-like taste, but it has 0 calories per serving. It's delish if you're looking for a swap. Highly recommend if you're a Truvia household or not, I highly recommend becoming one. We're really big fans. And this new Truvia Allulose Stevia sweetener and monk fruit sweetener is parjelish. We love, we highly recommend, whether it's, you know, I know you're in your baking era.

Let's talk to the single gals, or really anyone who's ever been on a dating app and felt like they had to create a polished,, you know, fake version of themselves just to keep up because nobody has energy for that at this point. If you don't wanna invent a new personality for an app because you already have one, we really like Hily dating app. First of all, Hily is an acronym. It stands for Hey, I Like You, because that level of honesty I think feels really refreshing in the dating app space. Uh, what makes Hily dating app different is that it's built for people who are over the whole pretending thing. You're not trying to seem cooler, funnier, or more mysterious than you actually are. You're just dating as yourself, which should be normal. It's not like a relevatory Relevatory? Yeah, relevatory concept, but somehow it does feel groundbreaking in the modern dating era.
Clearly people are responding to it highly. Dating app has been downloaded over 42 million times worldwide. It has hundreds of thousands of monthly active users and millions of matches happening every year. It's also become one of the top 5 dating apps in the US App Store. We love that the app is very thoughtful. Their smart matching learns your preferences based on interests, compatibility, who you like, who you skip, and it just gets better over time. They also have Icks and Clicks, which helps you check compatibility beyond just photos, and they offer Major Crush, which lets you make the first move without making it like into a whole event. Major bonus is that Hily dating app has a consent guard which blocks unsolicited inappropriate messages right away. Again, something else that should be standard practice in the modern dating era, but sadly it is not. Download the Hily dating app from the App Store or Google Play, or visit hily.com, hily.com, and date as you are with the Hily dating app. Today's episode is also brought to you by Bilt Rewards. So whether you're paying rent, paying a mortgage, one of your biggest monthly expenses should be working harder for you.
That's where Bilt comes in. It's the membership for where you live that rewards you with points on every housing payment wherever you live. So of course, we've been talking about Bilt for a while. I've been a Bilt member for so long because I am a renter. We know that they reward members with points on their rent, but now, as of 2026, Bilt members can also earn points on mortgage payments wherever they live. So every housing payment earns you points that you can use towards flights and top travel partners like United and Hyatt, Lyft rides, Amazon.com purchases, and so much more. Personally, I always redeem my Bilt points for travel. They have amazing travel partners like airlines and hotels. You're welcome.
Our next story, Dancing with the Stars cast member announced they have added Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez as a contestant for season 35. I love this.
Like, but yes, it's Guillermo's time.
Yes, Guillermo shall be the Andy Richter of the season, I believe.
100%. It is like very ABC, Hulu, Disney synergy. He is a star on ABC.
It's Pargi. I'm so excited.
Of course I love when they pluck like influencer reality stars, but I do like—
A well-rounded cast.
Yeah, and I love this. It's an unexpected choice. So who do we know so far? Four. Rob Mora.
Sierra. Sierra.
Guillermo.
Savannah Bananas.
Right, 5, his name is Jackson, I think, Jackson Claude.
Jackson Claude Rod Stewart.
That's who's got my vote. Do we know Rob?
I feel like we made that up. It's not confirmed.
It's not confirmed, but Mora's confirmed.
Mora's confirmed, Sierra's confirmed.
Like honestly, my vote is up for grabs. —None of my like absolute faves are in. Like, I love Maura, I love Sierra, but like my number ones have not been cast yet. So like with last season, I was like, well, Alex Earle has my vote, you know? It was kind of obvious.
Well, we haven't— we still have probably like 10 more people we're gonna find out.
Yeah, but you never can like guess who's gonna be your fave. Of course I fell for Andy Richter.
Right, right. Who was I voting for? Let me check.
Oh, uh, yeah, my texts are like—
I need to search like Whitney. Whitney. Let's see. Oh my God, I found it. Okay, I was voting for Andy and Jen, Andy and Jen, Whitney, Alex.
Oh, you were voting for Jen, your postpartum like sister.
Oh, and Elaine got a couple of my votes. Elaine, Elaine, Elaine, Elaine. Oh, I really like her.
They haven't announced athletes yet, whether they usually pluck from like the major sports leagues, the Olympics, maybe like a FIFA World Cup soccer star will like, someone from the American team.
Maybe.
Honestly.
Brooklyn Beckham.
Wait, did you see part 2?
No.
Part 2 of the commercial was released. There was no big reveal. It was the same thing. He basically orders DoorDash and gives the stack of tickets, which he had just thrown on the table. To his driver. He gives it to the driver and is like, leave them somewhere fun. And I guess they're like giving away tickets. That's the whole concept. He's like, oh, I don't need 'em. It's like, yeah, 'cause you're an unemployed slob. I'm like. Hold on. No, it— the— Wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home?
Not wondering.
It's not like I don't have tickets. Um, it's because— it's a long story.
For Brooklyn?
Yes.
These can go to someone else.
Hey, put them somewhere fun.
Why couldn't the driver have them? Oh, so the whole concept is that he's giving away his tickets because he doesn't wanna be with his family 'cause he's disgusting and great.
Yeah, it's so you're saying your family gave you tickets and you won't go.
Because you won't be near your family, so he's give them to someone else. But why can't you give, why can't the DoorDash driver have them for him and his family?
I wanna say that at this present moment, there is nobody in modern media or culture who I currently hold a lower opinion of than Brooklyn Beckham. He is the new— I was a little, I was on the bridge, I was on the fence, I was always team David, but I could understand him. I now have a severe dislike for him.
He is Prince Harry.
I think he's a dick. Yes.
Like what they've done is the same, and then like what they're doing is the same.
Begging for privacy, privacy, showing me your vagina. Like stop.
No, and like you can have a rift with your family, you can find them to be like toxic and it's not—
Overbearing.
It's not the right environment for you and your feelings. To tell the whole world, like, the dirty details of what happened between you all is so classless.
To monetize off of it.
And especially at your such a high level, you're— it's not like you're some, like, Z-lister who needs to keep the wheel spinning. You're at such a high level. Your wife is a billionaire. You are a millionaire. Your parents, her parents, same with Meghan and Harry, they have, you know, opportunities for days. You didn't need to do it.
Yeah, and also the Beckhams are, I don't even wanna say A-list, they are an upper echelon of fame. They're very global. He's knighted by the Queen. Like they're on the same level as at one point like Harry and Meghan, the Obamas.
Yes.
Like very upper echelon. So all in all, I've never disliked someone more. Knowing that he doesn't need the money, a lot of times I can make more excuses for people who like need the money.
Yes, no, that's what I'm saying.
This is definitely a shit.
Like a reality star who thrives off of this and it will pay for their next thing, like, okay. But they have so much money.
And it warmed my heart to open up the comments and see everyone agreed with me tenfold. Like, just the disrespect. They're hard people to dislike. Like, sometimes, like, I think a lot of people with Harry and Meghan were rooting for them in the beginning 'cause like, you could come up with a million reasons to dislike the royal family, right? There's really not a lot you can dislike about the Beckhams. They're beloved in sports, in fashion, in music, in the UK and America. People just love them. So to go out on your own and never give us a good reason and now like monetize it and you just look like a spoiled brat. No one— it's really hard to get people on your side here, Brooklyn.
No, and to like tell us the thing, some of the things that happened, which were clearly the worst things that happened because you're trying to get us on your side. And it's like that your mother loves you so much and did a dance at your wedding and you didn't feel like it was special enough for you.
Like, shut up. No, and also like everyone on a big and a small scale has like mother-in-law drama at their wedding. You leave it at the wedding.
Yeah, yeah.
That's just what it is.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Yeah, that's really crazy.
I hate him. What was the story that led into this?
Guillermo.
Guillermo. Got it, oh yeah. Oh, so I don't know why I brought him up. Oh, 'cause FIFA World Cup. Yeah, they're gonna have athletes.
What if they had Brooklyn Beckham?
I'm telling you, like, that's the level that we're at.
I mean, Meghan and Harry could be on next.
She's apparently—
I actually think that would be good for her. I mean, I can't ever trust the headlines, but like people are saying she's like really in like trouble 'cause they have like $5 million worth of As/Ever inventory that's about to expire. 'Cause it's like—
Oh, I saw the As/Ever inventory issue. It's possible, although they were always selling out.
So how do you guess?
Were they? Right, right. A lot of people fake sell out.
A lot of people fake sell out so they can create demand and then release it again. That's like a normal business thing. Practices.
That's like a smart marketing strategy.
Yeah, it's marketing.
Um, I don't know, of all their like things, I don't think like As Ever is going to be the thing that like— because also Netflix, what, they had investors? Like, I don't think As Ever is going to be the thing that financially breaks them. Well, no, but like— Maybe, I think maybe what's going to break them is never fulfilling any of their commitments.
I don't think this will financially break them, but like, who's going to really take a chance on them again? Yeah, all the inventory is paid for and she has investors and this, I don't think— but like, this is, if this this goes down, like, it is such a stain. Add it to the list of stains.
Well, yeah, it's not a bigger stain than anything else, but at some point they will have knocked down every door, whether it's, you know, partners to stream with, people to invest. They're kind of running out of options.
But let me tell you, I'm on— they did the Disney. I'm on the website and the shit's pargy. The shit is pargy. I've gotten the jams, they are so good. My husband devoured It is insane that she cannot sell these things, and it just speaks to like the lack of relationship she's established with any fan base that she's had.
She did not cultivate, she did not move smart. I feel like after many years she finally decided to like lean into the home space with the cooking show and then the products, but it was so fast, it was so quick. We've got one season, here's my jams, and my edible flowers. It should have been a long, slow roll post-cook, like over the course of years.
That's, yeah.
It was such a cash grab. So clearly people did not respond to it 'cause it was so, but we were just doing books. Like it was just not cohesive. If she had over the course of many years like started releasing like high quality Instagram content, recipes, brought back the Tig, did more lifestyle, then did a show, then launched a brand. It was like we went from one thing to the next. You were also doing confessions of a female founder while selling jam. Like it was so not cohesive.
No, and like you're literally learning on the show, so you're not an expert yet. Your show is like explaining to us that you don't know how to do anything, right? So why are we going to treat you like an expert? I just want to say, I'm on the site, the Complete As Ever Pantry Box, so it's like one of everything. It's on sale and it looks really good. I kind of want to buy it. So here's what comes—
But save that apricot jam, Ben loved it.
Raspberry spread, orange marmalade, strawberry spread. Yeah.
Oh, that was it, orange marmalade.
Honey, lemon ginger tea. There's a candle.
Edible flowers.
I need her candle. Flower sprinkles, of course. Lots of teas.
You should buy it.
I kind of want it, but is it like about to expire? Good call.
Ooh, she has chocolates. You have to buy it like just for the research. Maybe we'll do like an unboxing or something.
It's actually insane that this website looks so much like the Buckingham Palace gift shop website. And it's like, if you wanted to sell jams, like you could have had a jam line over there. Yeah, the final jam.
They are going back to the UK. I don't know if you saw big news, they're taking the kids.
What, what are they doing there?
I'm not sure what it was for, but it's like historic for them because I don't think they've brought the kids back yet. I didn't— the last two, or the only two times they've gone, yeah, have been solo.
Yeah, because of like security, right? I didn't mean to like promote her products, but I'm feeling very influenced right now. Listen, cream rises. And they have a bundle.
Who you are, what you are, if your shit's good, your shit's good.
They have a bundle called the Go-To Hostess Gift. And so like now I wanna get it for like the next time I go to someone's house. What an amazing gift, it's on sale for $132.
That's just kind of how I feel about Ben Platt. You know, the cream rises, like the shit's good, like.
Yeah, but it's like everything here, she has everything that it takes to like, you know, she has the branding.
The website. The infrastructure, yeah.
And the manufacturing and the purchasing.
She's also got the customers.
'Cause it's like, this should be Ballerina Farm.
Yeah, no, and if she had been more thoughtful about it, like from the get, just wanted to become like a Martha Stewart, she just should've been more thoughtful. They were just so obvious in their cash grab. And I understand that they had needs, security, yada yada. It was not thoughtfully done.
No, she should like sell.
And they are the definition of overexposed.
Yeah, but like, I don't know, the entity, like they should sell it, like white label it to someone else and give the keys to someone who could like turn it on.
Someone else.
To turn the lights on.
Someone else, you, like it should be, as ever, with love, Follet.
With love, Follet, I love that.
I love that. Just something to think about.
Oh my gosh, me.
What was the story? Oh, Brooklyn Beckham. Guillermo. But was that— that was the fourth story.
It was sort of the fourth story. I do have another fifth one, which is like the rumors are starting to come out about what happened between Jelly Roll and Bunnie.
Oh my God, what are they saying? I haven't heard this.
So behind the scenes, they're saying that it's due to changing lifestyles, which some of this does like track based on what's going on in the public. Sources are saying some people around them felt there was growing tension as Jelly has embraced a more faith-centered lifestyle while Bunnie continued building the outspoken and provocative brand that had always been authentic to her. Whether that's fair or not, it became increasingly difficult to reconcile those two worlds. The insider claims a lot of people want to point to one thing, but it was really a combination of issues that have been building for years. They came from similar worlds when they met and bonded over surviving difficult circumstances, but over time their lives started moving in different directions. Jelly has changed tremendously over the last few years. His focus shifted to his health, faith, family, and the long-term legacy he wants to leave behind. Bunny, on the other hand, you know, just 2 days ago was sharing steamy photo of herself wearing satin lingerie, um, with like her strap coming down, and she captioned it, she's getting her sparkle back. The person said Bunny has always unapologetically been herself, and while that's something Jelly's admired about her, there were times when it felt like they were no longer aligned with where he saw his life heading or what he envisioned for the future.
Also, she has opened up in January about how they were trying to have a baby via IVF. Mm-hmm.
Yes.
So there were difficult conversations about expanding their family, timing, and what they both wanted their future to look like. Those discussions became more complicated as his career continued to explode.
You know what, actually, that does make sense. Um, I did think that a lot of his, like, transition to, like, faith music content, like, felt a little performative in the sense that, like, he saw a space for himself, like, in the music industry and But it's good to know that that was just like a wrong feeling that I had and it actually is how he's changed in real life so much so that he can't even be with his wife anymore 'cause she's like not on his level. I thought it was like a little bit of like a career move, like a convenient position for him to take, but good to know that that's wrong, not true.
Yeah, oh, I didn't, I don't think too hard about his like values, you know, 'cause I'm just like—
It always felt so corny, like even when he made his speeches, just like very drama, and I'm here because of the Lord. Like it was very like— Oh, interesting, perfect. And it was such a quick change. Change. I was like, oh, you just like want to now be like— he did a lot of music with, um, Brandon—
what's his name? Brandon Lake. Yeah, Hard Fork, Hallelujah.
Yeah, which was great. I thought it was just maybe like he saw success there, so he leaned more into it. But no, it's actually like a real change he's going through.
Oh, interesting. I didn't like really know him before he became like this guy, so that's always like sort of what I saw him as. I just figured like the, the, um, enlightenment happened like after his incarceration and whatnot, and he's just like been on this better path. But also like it's evident that he's changing on his health. Like, look at him, he's a different person. And he probably has different— he's doing 5Ks with Turdy. Like, he has, you know, those sorts of things. People grow apart in that way. But it's really crazy to think about that they could, like, survive the craziest things, but not just, like, a little— a little— Godly loving.
You know what's funny is that, like, Jelly Roll is, like, such a famous person who's gone through, like, such a dramatic weight loss, and there's been, like, no think pieces or discussions made about whether or not he used Ozempic. Like, I imagine that he did, right? It's just funny, like nobody cares. Like I think of like Lizzo or like people who have lost as we are always, did they, did they? They're so like, especially for like women, like we're always obsessed with whether or not they did Ozempic or weight loss surgery or how did they do it? Like how did Jelly Roll do it? I'm sure he talked about it. Like I'm sure he, like it's not a big discussion.
Yeah, let's see. Has he just like said he's on GLP-1s and?— I'm sure he is.
Like, you're overweight your whole life and like only recently you lost weight. It's like, because there's this new amazing thing.
And that's also like everyone who's always been like, you know, extra £10, like who's all of a sudden like rail thin.
Mm-hmm. GLP-1. Yeah.
Katy Perry.
That's the definition. She's always been fit.
Yeah.
But she's—
She's never been this skinny.
She's lean. She is. She's not one ounce of fat on her. So it's like, oh, what changed?
Oh, so Jelly Roll's approach to weight loss initially involved considering a GLP-1 medication. But he ultimately decided to achieve his transformation naturally. Sure. I mean, that's like Kris Jenner saying, "I didn't like GLP-1s, but I'm on a peptide." Well, peptides, I just saw the funniest tweet.
You know, they're selling peptides. Peptides are like about to become so mass market, they're selling them at bodegas. There was a bodega that had signed, "Come get your peptides." What is a peptide?
What the fuck is a peptide?
I don't know what it is, but like when I'm done having babies, like I'm gonna be on every single one. Like right now I'm a little bit more particular about what I put on my body.
Like people will be like, "There's a peptide for your skin, for your hair." I'm like, there's a what now?
Wait, I just saw a TikTok. There's actually a peptide.
'Cause, okay, wait, you're gonna freak out at this. What does that mean, there's a peptide?
I think it means an injection.
Okay, but why aren't we saying it's an injection?
'Cause it maybe, I think, don't quote me on this, it's a hormone.
But also my Hailey Bieber lips are peptide.
Right. Well, I heard there's a peptide, an injection that like causes melanin production. So it's like instead of getting spray tans, you can actually produce more melanin in your skin. Because I saw TikTok being like, I thought there was like a bad spray tan epidemic, but it turns out a lot of celebrities are now taking this peptide, I forgot the name of it, to produce melanin.
Very interesting. Anyone that we can look to?
I don't wanna say who, 'cause it was just speculation.
But who are they speculating? Of a—
Ella Langley. Ella Langley. That's funny. 'Cause if you look at pictures of celebrities in the past who were just like like, you know, paler. But it could be, or it could be the peptide.
That is very interesting. Yeah, but so yeah, like, oh, so Jelly Roll's like not on GLP-1s.
But all I'm saying is like, think about how many times we've like thought and talked extensively about like a public weight loss. Even if they denied it, we're like, well, this— she's definitely on it. Like, nobody cares how Jelly Roll's losing his weight.
Like, just men aren't really interesting to me.
That's beautiful.
Like, personally, that's why I'm not asking.
Yeah, no, and men weight loss is not personally interesting to me.
Male weight loss is not interesting to me.
Because it's so simple. It's like you eat less and you lose weight, whereas like women— But you still get to eat a lot. Yeah, right. With a woman, it's like you have 3 grapes in a day and you gain a pound. Like, it's just, that's interesting.
Yeah, and I can't relate to male weight loss. I don't find it interesting and I don't care. That's why personally I'm harder on the women, if you were wondering like my biases.
About you personally, yeah.
Yeah, though I don't feel like I'm harder on, I don't feel like I'm hard on anyone.
You know what's so funny is I also think— It's true, you keep her, your foot on her neck. Actually, it's funny 'cause I did a Q&A yesterday and somebody asked me a question and it was so true 'cause like we're sort of like, we're very desensitized now to Ozempic, but there was a time where it was like a witch hunt, right? Like, and I remember I used to like live in fear that people would find me out and I was like, girl, it couldn't be more obvious. Like you've been fat forever. But like someone was like, do you feel resentful that like now people are on it all the time? It's like we don't even question it. We don't like witch hunt. It's like so desensitized. Whereas like when you were on it, it was like the speak— she was like, do you feel resentful? And I was like, well, yeah, now that you've put it that way, I do. Like, I never thought about it, but it's like the, the way we— even just now, so casually I said like Katy Perry's probably on Ozempic. It used to be this like very hot button issue.
Yeah, yeah, I guess it was.
It's just deflated now. It's like, well, yeah, everyone's on it. Yeah. And the thing that people said was going to happen like did happen, which is everyone is super, super skinny. Like, the body standard has has really shifted. The plus-size movement is over. We are not body positive. Like, we're losing weight. Like, everything they said was gonna happen because of Ozempic did happen. But also, like, obese people are less obese, and like, I think that's great.
Yeah.
Like, people who clinically needed it. Like, yeah, we're all talking about like Ariana Grande, but like, what about like the people who—
Jelly Roll.
Yeah, right. What about Jelly Roll? It's the Ariana Grande to Jelly Roll pipeline.
Like, so we have, and that's what you were talking about with her. It's like you wanna also be critical about very overweight people if you're gonna be critical about very underweight people. And that's, if you wanna name them, like, that's fine with me.
Well, I'm not gonna name them, but I did just see something that like, it was very much what I was saying. It was a video of like a severely overweight celebrity. And the comments were like, why aren't we like saying Ariana Grande? Why aren't the comments here like Ariana Grande's comments?
Text me who it was. And then like, If you're feeling brave, you could share because I'm never gonna say it. Oh my gosh, I'm so curious who it is. I kind of have a thought of who it could be. Oh, interesting. I thought you were gonna say this person's not severely overweight, but like they've obviously gotten— Oh no, no, no, no, no.
Like there's— I'm talking about like being fat is like— I'm fat right now. Like being fat is not I'm talking about like severe, like morbid obesity.
Understood, okay, yeah, yeah.
I don't think if someone's like currently like carrying, I wanna say up to 40 extra pounds, like they need their comments to be like, you're in danger. I'm talking about like how it's really extreme Ariana Grande, right?
Yeah. I'm talking about extreme overweight. There's just not a lot of celebrities.
No, there's not.
Yeah, so there's like 2.
Everyone's gonna know who I'm talking about.
I actually don't think so. I never would've guessed. Okay. Okay, that's your show.
Yeah.
That's your show, you guys. And that's your week of toast.
Yes. If you're looking for more content, I just uploaded a new Patreon, not to be like so drama, but people do always like ask about my hair. So I try to do—
You and me do hair.
I try to do a hair tutorial every like 2 years, 'cause it does change. And my hair tutorial has actually recently changed a lot. For Dear Media by Night, I got my hair professionally glammed and my girl Allison, Like she was using all this like new stuff and I had her send me links. So kind of major changes, I stopped using the Dyson Airwrap. Yeah, it's all, and then I also—
I stopped using a Dyson Airwrap, AMA.
Yeah, and I also did an AMA, I answered a bunch of questions about like, I actually shared some like secret project, I didn't even tell you about it. Like I shared like a couple of secret project reveals. I was just kind of being a big mouth and I shared just like some stuff, Q&A, hair tutorial, in-depth, blow dry. I seriously can't with you. —Yeah, I know.
Like years of work.
That's why I didn't tell you.
Just blurted out in your AMA.
