Good morning, girlies. It's The Toast. It's Jackson Claude, and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, it's The Toast.

00:00:22

They sound amazing.

00:00:24

Welcome back to The Toast, and happy... Oh, that's right. Tuesday. Oh, that's right. Confusing because we got so much fucking shit to do today. We had to push Steer Toaster. Sorry to the DTQ. Don't want to be rushed. Today's episode feels different. It feels like we are on the precipice of something huge.

00:00:42

Why? Okay.

00:00:44

And I feel like everybody's tuning in today for different reasons. Of course, Brooklyn's eight-page statement needs to be dissected. And I can't be rushed through that. He took his time with the statement, It's only right that we take time.

00:00:54

And also, it's been a long time coming. Years of speculation. We've talked about this story over and over again, and now we have concrete answers.

00:01:00

Today would have been a big day for any one of these things. First of all, we need to talk about just our weekends. We are important people.

00:01:07

No, I know. We played Majan. We played Majan twice since you last saw us.

00:01:11

Correct.

00:01:11

We are important people.

00:01:13

The traitors. I have so much to say about The Traitors. Actually, I know I said that I was going to try and bring my sunglasses, Robbie Hoffman energy to this show this year without having to wear my sunglasses. I have so many things to say today that I feel like I'm going to get canceled for that I might just be wearing my sunglasses the entire time.

00:01:32

I agree. And my feelings on Tradeers haven't changed since I watched it a few days ago, so I feel prepared to share.

00:01:39

I have to share my unpopular opinions on Traitors. I have to share my unpopular, extremely biased opinions on Brooklyn and Nikola. I have to share my extremely Extremely. Years in the making hot take about the guy who runs the glam bot, and now I'm so excited that he's in the news. What else are we discussing today?

00:01:54

Kyle and Amanda. Kyle and Amanda.

00:01:58

Kyle and Amanda. And for some reason, when Kyle and Amanda got divorced, so many people thought of us, which I'm not sure whether to be flattered or offended. I thought of us, too. Well, of course. If I have two enemies-Not to make it about us.

00:02:08

Of course not.

00:02:09

I have two enemies on this Earth, and of course, Kyle Cook, the low life, is one of them. So a bad day for Kyle is a good day for coaches. Welcome to Coach Your Under's Corner. I do have mixed feelings on Amanda because she's my... Up until recently, was my greatest enemy's partner. So I don't really know how to feel about her.

00:02:26

Now she may be the enemy of your enemy, Eric.

00:02:28

Correct. I'm looking forward to the DM.

00:02:30

Your friend.

00:02:31

So I just have a lot of feelings, a lot of unpopular opinions, and I feel like I might need my glasses, even though I got new glasses. Yeah. Oh, we also went shopping.

00:02:38

She has a tortichelle glass.

00:02:39

You have a tortichelle glasser from Ralph Lauren. Okay, so I have now two- You're not a tortichelle glass girl. That's not true. This is my second pair that I have in my purse right now. What are the others? Versace.

00:02:50

Oh, Versace.

00:02:51

Well, I just wanted to give a shout out to Ralph because this is now the second time where I've done a big purchase at Ralph. It's such an underrated store. And I realized that both times- Ralph Lauren. Well, the last time I shop- She's not at the ice cream shop. Ralph Lauren or Ralph Lauren? I say Ralph Lauren. The last time I did a haul at Ralph Lauren was over the summer in the Hamptons when we were shopping in South Hampton. And then over the weekend, we took a trip to Palm Beach, and we went walking aroundworth Avenue, the fanciest. And honestly, it was discouraging walking into those stores. So I just want to give a shout out to Ralph for always being at those fancy stores. And of course, it's still expensive, but it's a much more palatable price range, I think. And so that's why I have now found myself buying stuff twice at Ralph Lauren, just because it was cheaper than the other stores. And I love everything that I get.

00:03:37

Yeah. It's also just cute.

00:03:39

These sunglasses, $130.

00:03:40

Love them.

00:03:41

Which is a lot for sunglasses.

00:03:42

I think you've never worn a tortoise shell on the show before. Oh, on the show? No, I haven't. So I do feel like, Oh, you're taking them off.

00:03:49

Well, I don't have anything scary to say yet. Okay. I feel like my opinions are... I have the craziest thing to say when it comes to traders. So we'll get there.

00:03:57

Okay. I'm really excited for traitors. Me too. It was so good. It was really fun to watch, and I have a lot of strong feelings. So that's always my favorite. We'll recap it, the final story at the end. Let's chat about our weekend. Yeah. Before we get into the stories, we had such a great weekend. We had a long weekend, a strong weekend.

00:04:14

We did have a great weekend, although I will say I had three medical episodes this weekend, which soured the great weekend. At first, I had my blood... Is your blood sugar low? I had a blood sugar crash when we were in Palm Beach. So I was in medical distress for about 30 minutes. That It was really scary. And then I got hit with a one hour migraine the next day. And then last night, just like an episode with my stomach. And then this morning, I got my period. So I'm just not feeling like 100 % Well, I think the last thing that you said, the other ones, I'm sorry, like a 30 minute episode, a one hour migraine.

00:04:50

Like, fabulous. Jackie. When it comes to migraines. But what you've just shared with us, your truth, Cojourner's truth.

00:04:58

And what's funny is the thing about periods is at least the way they're supposed to be.

00:05:02

I just want you to know, if you hadn't said it, I wouldn't have known. Thank you. Maybe it's because of all the news and there's so many distractions, but it's not written all over your face. It's not oozing out of you in a metaphorical sense.

00:05:14

But in a medical sense, it is.

00:05:15

Yes. So I want you to know you're putting on a brave phrase, and you're wearing white, which really throws us off.

00:05:21

The funny thing about periods- Not 50 Shades of Red. The funny thing is when they're done right, they're supposed to be really predictable, right? You're supposed to know. But let me tell you, there isn't a time that I don't get my period and I'm like, What? What is this? When I tell you, I could have seen a rat on the toilet paper and I would have been less shocked. Why is it so shocking? I know it happens every month. It's been happening every month since you're regular again. I'm right on schedule. I have a 30, 31 day cycle. I'm staying 30. It could not have been more timely. And when I tell you I've never been more shocked, surprised in my life. What do you mean?

00:06:02

Yeah. What do you mean? Especially after you have such long hiatus, you forget that this is a part of your-journey. Your womanly wild. And it can be staggering.

00:06:14

The cost of a boot is staggering. You guys, my jaw hit the floor. It was shocking.

00:06:21

I am sorry that you're going through. I know how much it takes from you.

00:06:26

I was going to go to the beach today.

00:06:27

I don't think we're going to the beach today, by the way.

00:06:30

Oh.

00:06:30

It's cold.

00:06:32

Oh, you're not like a water sign, so that stuff bothers you.

00:06:35

It's just like it doesn't scream beach. We'll chat later.

00:06:38

I do want to say that I feel like in the past, whenever I've seen people from New York or Florida wearing Puffer coats when it turns under 70 degrees. I'm like, these people are so dramatic. They can never. But I do feel like your body just adjusts. It is a little... It's like 66 degrees today. And I put my heated steering wheel on. I used to think it was a person thing, but I do think when you just move to a warmer weather, you become a weaker individual.

00:07:02

It's just all relative. Yeah. Like, 66 is your 30.

00:07:08

Right. Whereas if it was 66 degrees in your country, I'd be sweating my ass off. And I'd be complaining like, I hate this fucking weather. Yeah. So it's a situation. It's situational.

00:07:17

Well, I didn't wear a Pover. It's going to warm up, but I don't think warm enough for the beach.

00:07:22

We played a ton of Majang since we've seen you guys last.

00:07:25

We're getting really good.

00:07:26

Yeah. Like I said, my New Year's resolution is to get good. And I feel like I feel like I'm getting good. I'm also playing with people who are worse than me, so it's hard to... It's a good practice, but I need to start playing with an elite crew. Yeah.

00:07:39

Well, we've got some games lined up.

00:07:40

We do have games lined up. And it's just so... I love the activities where you just sit and actually don't move, but you're still being stimulated. Yeah. And that is Mahjong to a T.

00:07:49

It's definitely for us.

00:07:50

Because Ben was like, Why did you have such a good time when you played on Wednesday? And I was like, Because we literally sat. We did not move. And I didn't even realize, first of all, we played for three hours. And I had snacks. I had great conversation. I had stimulated meeting gameplay, but I also never moved. So everything came to me, and that's my favorite. My favorite type of game.

00:08:06

Yeah. What else did we do this weekend? Oh, the kids saw a new movie yesterday at the movie theater.

00:08:11

Not mine. We don't do screen time, so.

00:08:14

I didn't go. I saw David. You know, Zack's always dying to go to the movies.

00:08:17

Did he use his- His pass?

00:08:20

Oh, I don't know.

00:08:21

I got to tell you, I bet it's expired now.

00:08:22

He didn't mention it. But they said it was amazing.

00:08:25

Well, last Secret Santa, I got one of the most thoughtful, amazing gifts. And It was for your husband because he loves going to the movies. So I got him the AMC annual pass where you get one ticket a month, you get 50% off a companion ticket, you get 50% off concessions. And I had a feeling- Wasn't it a one year thing, though? Yeah, but one every month.

00:08:45

Okay, but the year is over. And I don't know if there's a rollover. I feel like we've had this conversation. And if there was rollover to be had, my husband would be using it.

00:08:53

And he would have 12 tickets, and he literally took 12 people, including all the kids to the movies yesterday. So. Yeah. Interesting. And you can confirm during the year long period that this subscription was active, he did not go to the movies once.

00:09:03

We definitely went maybe once.

00:09:06

Do you think he used it?

00:09:08

I think he used it once, but you bought it for him in the year of no movies. Now the kids are at an age where if there's something good out, it could be a special thing to go to the movies, and he might use it more now. But all is to say, they had a great time at the movies yesterday. Olivia and Zack said the movie was amazing. I actually want to see it. It's about King David.

00:09:29

That's my king right there. That's my king right there.

00:09:31

I've heard really good things, so that's always nice to see. They said the music was amazing. They said it was like, Greatest Showman. I'm sorry. That's big words.

00:09:40

No, that's big praise.

00:09:42

Yeah. No. If you're saying the music is like, Greatest Showman level, this is the greatest movie of all time. I actually want to go see it.

00:09:50

With the exception of that one scene, the bearded lady and her friends acting.

00:09:54

No, but that scene is really good. I'm sorry. You know what scene is boring to me?

00:10:00

Let me think.

00:10:01

Musical scene.

00:10:02

Don't say Rewrite the Stars.

00:10:03

Rewrite the Stars.

00:10:04

I do feel like that's an original thought. It doesn't bother me, but it's not my favorite by any means.

00:10:09

Yeah, there are a couple of scenes with charity.

00:10:12

Charity. Charity. So over her. Cancel charity. Charity is over part.

00:10:19

Charity Barnum. Yeah.

00:10:21

I can't like, yeah. You know how I feel about charity, and of course, Jenny Lind. And like, I know I keep criticizing the movie.

00:10:27

Oh, we're so on different pages.

00:10:28

I know I keep criticizing the movie, but it's important to remember it is the best movie made ever. Yeah, but nothing has a meaning to my criticism. I just want to say.

00:10:34

Yeah, no. Greatness is not without... Nothing's perfect.

00:10:38

I forgot to tell you something. You're being talked about on the talk. What did I do? So I saw this viral video, and it was about three products disrupting their respective industries. I know.

00:10:47

You're going to be- My wipes, my pads.

00:10:50

Three products disrupting their respective industry.

00:10:52

Pamper Counsel?

00:10:53

No. And one of them was Dazzle Dry. And this video went mega viral. Just people talking about like... And the girl was like, and shout out because I've been hearing about Dazzle Dry for years from Jacky O. And I was like, okay, not Jacky O mentioned.

00:11:04

Jacky O mentioned.

00:11:04

And the video was big. So the video wasn't about you?

00:11:06

No, no, no. But I'm disrupting the industry. I'm part of the disruption.

00:11:12

You are a factor in the disruption. Yeah.

00:11:15

That is so exciting. That I've talked about in a positive way.

00:11:19

Correct. As if you could talk about Jacky O and any other.

00:11:22

I wish I had stock.

00:11:24

In the DAZ? Yeah. You really were very much ahead of your time with the DAZ. Yeah. Did I talk on this podcast I got a regular manicure by accident? Like Essie? No. It's insane that Essie and OPI aren't in financial ruin. What a piece of shit product. Like regular manicures. And I made a TikTok about this and there was a lot of discourse because I haven't gotten a regular age-old manicure. I can't even remember.

00:11:49

But at least OPI now does gel. Right.

00:11:51

I used to be like a gelaholic. And then when I got pregnant, Jackie turned me on to dazzling. I actually liked it so much. I didn't need to go back. And I can't believe there are people out here paying. And let me tell you, it was $21. It's not like, oh, when we were kids, it was a $7 manicure. Maybe three, four, five extra for tip. $21 for a manicure that literally chipped before I left the place. It was insane. First of all, drying is archaic. And maybe I've been out of the game for so long because I don't dry. Dazzle, you just sit there for, they say five minutes and then you can go. I put my hands under. I'm like, Ma'am, it's not on. And she was like, It's a light. It's not a fan. Okay, I'm sorry. There was no way that it was right.

00:12:25

Even when it's a fan, there's nothing on. And they have their little fans at their desks. Can I have a little fan, please? No, get it. You got to use your Schroler fan.

00:12:33

Getting an OG manicure is seriously not worth the price of admission. It was so... I get a manicure every week at home with my best friend Margot, and she always gets regular polish. She's just weird like that.

00:12:42

That's why she's going every week.

00:12:43

I tried to put her on to Dazzle, and she wasn't Dazzled by it. I can't believe that that's the shit she's paying for. It's such crap.

00:12:49

I don't remember when this manicure is from. It's from Dazzle. It is more than 10 days old. Look at it.

00:12:54

Dazzle is Dazzling.

00:12:56

These are gold. Exactly. What else is disrupting the industry?

00:13:02

I got a couple of products I haven't heard of, like some noise ear plugs.

00:13:05

Okay.

00:13:06

And then, I can't lie, after I heard Jacky, I was so excited. I left a comment and then I stopped watching. I was like, not Jacky-O Visibility. Okay.

00:13:14

Jacky No visibility. So important. Well, I guess we could get into the story. I actually have a big day today. I'm doing something today that I need to do that I haven't done yet. I'm a little delayed.

00:13:25

Was it a postpartum checkup?

00:13:27

My postpartum checkup. My six-week checkup. I'm doing it at 10 weeks. I just couldn't be bothered. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I was going to the doctor 2-3 times a week. I'm not running back to the doctor. Give me my peace.

00:13:36

The thing is, if there was something going on, you would know.

00:13:39

No. And also, it's like, you want the clear to be able to take a bath.

00:13:43

Oh, that is why I went to the doctor. Roll around in the sac. I went at five and a half weeks because I was like, Can I take a bath, work out?

00:13:50

And it's like, I'm not... It would be nice to take a bath, but who's that at the time? It's like, I'm not ready to do those things. So it's like, I'm not in any rush.

00:13:58

I'm not in any rush to get weighed.

00:14:00

Yeah, that too.

00:14:02

Yeah, I remember at my sixth Week, not to make your thing about me, I was told that I was obese. And I just feel like we need to cancel doctors for that. Not by Dr. Fox, of course.

00:14:09

Unless you have a breastfeeding safe GLP-1 for me at my sixth Week appointment- We have nothing to discuss. We have nothing to discuss.

00:14:17

Although I was curious. I never really look at my scar. I'm like, It could be ooosing past. And I wouldn't know just because it- Oh, yeah.

00:14:25

You got to check the scar.

00:14:26

It freaks me out to look at it. It's so thin and So it was important for me to just make sure it wasn't infected or anything, like maggots coming out of it.

00:14:36

And maggots, you tested negative? He only found one.

00:14:40

He said, It's a really beautiful small, skinny little maggot, so you don't need to come.

00:14:43

Were you maggot, Aladine?

00:14:45

I know. I was actually maggot, Aladine. I'm sorry. It's okay. These things happen.

00:14:51

Are you ready for the stories?

00:14:52

I actually, for the first time in my life, not for the first time, I'm ready for the stories.

You're welcome.

00:19:22

Our first story, Brooklyn Beckham launches an astonishing attack on his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, in bombshell statements on Instagram, saying that he does not want to reconcile.

00:19:33

I do feel like we need to read the whole statement. The whole statement? Yeah, if you don't mind.

00:19:38

Okay, here we go.

00:19:39

But whilst she's searching for that, I'm going to give my takes and everything. I do feel like it's important to acknowledge your bias, right? I do have a couple of biases here, which I do feel like color my thoughts. Although I think if they're... Okay, let me say this. I think Brooklyn and Nikola, I could see them being an insufferable duo, like nepos who's never had to work in it for anything. I have heard, and I remember we heard, we say this every time we talk about Brooklyn and Nikola, we heard that she's the meanest girl in Hollywood. Bella Thorne once said that about her. I was actually chatting with someone who would know, and I was like, I also heard she's the nastiest bitch alive. They were like, Yeah, allegedly. That's just what I've heard. That's my bias. I think I also think it's important to mention.

00:20:21

As a boy mom, I- I'm sick over this. This is sickening to me.

00:20:25

As a boy mom, I find it sickening. Also somebody who would love to lay with David Beckham, that is also a bias of mine.

00:20:30

Okay. Yeah. And I think we know David and Victoria better than we know Brooklyn and close. Just because they've given us more of them over the years. They've been famous longer. They both do documentaries. You feel like you have a sense of them as a person. You can't know someone completely, but they seem like just good, decent people who love their children and their family. They have a big family. They obviously care about family. The rest of the family is intact. It's not like their- This broken home. Right. So that's just the information we're going in with. Yes. Anyways, Brooklyn took to his Instagram stories. I'm not going to read all of it, but I will read the highlights. He said, I've been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and the team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled. I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.

00:21:18

For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. Well, I would hope that they would endeavor to do that.

00:21:25

This is one of my biggest pet piece. I feel like it happens a lot with Taylor Swift, where a criticism of person or a thing is like, well, they're so meticulous about their image. All they care about is they're very... They have publicists and teams where it's like, that's such a normal human thing. If you were at that level, you would do, too. We care on a small level, like what people in your close personal friendship think about you. It's okay to care. That's such an invalid criticism, especially when you've been as famous as they are for as long as they are, and then their kids become famous. I hate that, too. No.

00:21:52

And you would want to have some control over the narrative about your family that's out there in the world because you want to protect your family. I don't think there's really anything negative about that.

00:22:00

No, especially when you think about how they went through major media tabloid drama. So they know. They've been on the other side of it.

00:22:06

Back to Brooklyn, quote. The performative social media posts, family events, and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the links that they'll go to to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out. Back to me now. This reminds me so much of Harry and Megan, the way that they're talking, the way that they're talking about the family, the entity, lies, and media. And don't forget that Brooklyn and Nikola had dinner with Harry and Megan. Oh, yeah.

00:22:35

Four losers. Yes. And also, I find it so interesting that the media plays such a big part in why Brooklyn hates his family, because one of my takeaways, and I saw people on Twitter pointing this out, too, is a lot of the examples that he continued talking about the wedding is stuff that was low-key leaked. We had heard about this Marc Anthony thing. There was a thing on Dumont. So it makes it look like they're the ones planning stories because all their gripes, there was nothing in here. His spin on it was shocking, but there was nothing in here that felt brand new.

00:23:05

Two things. The Marc Anthony story that we all heard from Dumont years ago did not put Victoria in a favorable light. So why would that come from the Beckham camp? The other thing, he keeps saying they put lies in the media. We've been talking about this story for years, and nothing about it is concrete. We always end with we'll never know. Nobody put anything firm out there. And if they did, it was unsuccessful.

00:23:27

Well, Brooklyn and Nikola did, because now a lot of people are rereading their Vogue wedding piece where they talked all about the planning, yada, yada. And there's a lot of inconsistencies, especially when it comes to her talking about the design process with Valentino for her dress and him now alleging that- And then Valentino just passes.

00:23:44

Right.

00:23:45

And Brooklyn alleges that Victoria actually was supposed to be making the dress for him and for her. And at the 11th hour, she pulled out, yada, yada. Whereas in the Vogue article, it was a years long process. We went to Milan, they came to LA. Actually, the The only proof that someone is lying in the media is that Vogue article, because half of it doesn't align with this statement.

00:24:07

Then, My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped. My mom canceled making Nicola's dress in the 11th hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. So Custom Valentino isn't an urgent need.

00:24:22

Correct. And in the Vogue article, they said it took over a year, and there were six fittings over the course of that time, all over the world. So someone's lying.

00:24:29

And if they wanted to end the relationship the whole time, why would she initially make the dress, do all the thing, only to pull... I think she's busier than all of that.

00:24:38

I heard theories, people thinking that maybe Victoria was making a dress, and then...

00:24:44

Maybe Nikola didn't like it.

00:24:45

Or Nikola had reached out to have other designers make her other dresses, and Victoria felt some type of way about being one of several. I don't know.

00:24:55

Okay. I just think that's a bad idea, period. Even if you have a copacetic relationship, don't have the mother-in-law make the bride's dress. Agreed. Feels like a good rule of thumb. Unless she's Vera Wang, okay? Yeah. Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated.

00:25:21

Okay, so the word you're looking for is prenup. Thank you.

00:25:24

That's signing away the rights to his name.

00:25:26

Well, so this is, I feel like a real manipulation of language because, and this is so Sussex, you're right, the last name, the kids. I feel like this is where two people are saying the same thing in different languages. I think if you were asking Victoria and David what he's referring to, it's like, Well, we asked him to sign a prenup. And yes, the name Beckham, which does not belong really to Brooklyn. It belongs to his parents, is this billion-dollar company, Victoria Beckham. So what if Nicola wanted to start a makeup line called Nicola Beckham? I think it was more so about business. And you know what? It's not romantic for sure, but this is what is involved when you're at this level of wealth and fame and you are merging. And let's not forget, Nicola is not some pauper. She's richer.

00:26:10

Nicola has more money than them.

00:26:11

Billionaires. And I've heard that, by the way, her family is amazing. Wonderful people. That's what I've heard. So I feel like this is really how someone can see a situation so differently than the others. I think if we were to hear from a lawyer, it would be really standard stuff. It It's your signing away your name. It's your family's name. It's not just yours. It means something bigger, especially in the business landscape. So I'm actually not with Brooklyn on this one.

00:26:41

Yeah, I think that's a good way to explain it because the way that he said it makes no sense. Your parents They're not asking you to sign away your name as they walk you down the aisle. They love you. It's clearly just legal ease.

00:26:50

I know. And I could see people thinking that this is so...

00:26:54

I haven't seen anyone thinking this is so.

00:26:56

This is just what high-profile people. You have to protect your assets. Yes, it would be nice to believe that this is a marriage that's going to last 100 years. More often than not, it doesn't. You're a dumb ass if you don't protect your assets, you protect your name. Let's say they get divorced and she was Nicola Beckham, and she's not a part of the family, and she's going on starting businesses, Nicola Beckham, and she would be well within her legal right. I don't think this is crazy.

00:27:19

My holes out affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since. Well, it also sounds like- Sounds like his inheritance. No, or there was a deal that they were going to do with the whole family. They needed his name, and he didn't sign it, and so it affected the payday.

00:27:34

What payday?

00:27:34

What deal do they need Brooklyn for?

00:27:36

Have you ever read Brooklyn's photography book? You know that they don't need Brooklyn for any deal, okay? Okay, if we just say- I like this picture. It's out of focus, but you could tell there's a lot going on. The great Brooklyn Beckham.

00:27:49

Just say there was a family deal on the table, and he wouldn't sign his name away for the deal. Maybe someone wanted the rights to all of their names. Maybe something like that. I don't know.

00:27:58

I don't even think. I just feel like there was a prenup. His parents... This happens a lot, where wealthy parents want their kids' spouses to sign prenups, and it gets really awkward. And it's just like, that's just what happens.

00:28:09

During the wedding planning, my mom went so far as to call me, quote, evil because Nicola and I chose to include my nanny, Sandra, and Nikola's Nani at our table because they both didn't have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.

00:28:24

So is this grandmother or nanny?

00:28:26

Nanny. Is Nani a nanny or a nona?

00:28:28

But some people call their grandma It sounds like Nanny, too.

00:28:30

But she's the American one. So why does she have a noni?

00:28:34

I don't know. Well, it sounds like the parents each had their own tables, but then at Brooklyn and Nicolas's table, they had these two figures who weren't their parents. Now, this is I'm chalking up to true wedding stuff. A lot of this is wedding planning, where you see the worst in people. I actually imagine planning a wedding with Victoria Beckham as your mother-in-law is horrible. I'm going to see Nicholas side there.

00:28:55

I think when you have endless resources of your own and you don't need to ask Victoria Beckham for anything, and it's your wedding, do what you want. Yeah.

00:29:02

I think that a lot of the statement had to do with wedding planning, machugana nonsense. And I have planned a wedding. It is horrible. You see the worst in people, you hate people, and then you get over it. These people never got over it. So we're still- But they had a year of kumbaya.

00:29:19

The whole statement is about the wedding. I know, but they were together for a year, going to the premieres, being together.

00:29:24

Trying to make it work. But it seems like they weren't able to make it work, and they're still holding on to all the wedding m'chugas, which is Also, the reasons for the wedding, she got it.

00:29:31

It seems like Nikola and Victoria are strong personalities. They're both clashing heads. So they clashed at the wedding. They got over it. They're clashed again now. They can't get over it.

00:29:41

Yeah. And so they're bringing up everything from the wedding where it's like, at some point when I was reading this statement, this is so in the weeds. We're talking about wedding planning. Like, Girl, get over it. That is a part of marriage. It's horrible, but planning the wedding. You hate your family. Then the wedding is over and it goes back to normal.

00:29:56

So he said, The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nikola was not blood and not family. Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders. I have not seen an attack on Brooklyn that came from anyone other than haters on the internet. Me. Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere last summer.

00:30:21

Okay, so this is where things start to bother me because at the end of the day, it's very much he said, she said. Like I said, I actually think both people would agree that this one thing happened, but their perceptions on it are totally different. Whereas being blocked or blocking someone is much more binary. Did you do it or did you not? Cruz has alleged that Brooklyn blocked his family. Now, Brooklyn is alleging that his family blocked him. Like, which one is it?

00:30:45

Last summer, though. So maybe someone unblocked, now someone blocked again. Now everyone's telling the truth.

00:30:50

Got it.

00:30:51

They blocked him last summer, and he blocked them now.

00:30:53

And this is so minutiae. We're blocking each other. We've lost the plot.

00:30:58

My mom hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Mark Anthony called me to the stage, wherein this schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mom was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that brings us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.

00:31:23

That they renewed their vows. So it's clear that this wedding was a cluster fuck, and they don't acknowledge it, even though they never stopped posting pictures from it. I want to say one thing about this, Marc Anthony thing. So it turns out this Marc Anthony thing is true. Obsessed. This is so Victoria. This is so toxic mother-in-law thing to do. But just as a future toxic mother-in-law, I have one just question. Was there not a mother-son dance? Or was there two? You know what I mean? Because it sounds like there wasn't one. And Victoria has just made one, which she shouldn't have done. It's not her wedding.

00:32:03

And Mark Anthony made one. I want to talk to Mark Anthony. Of course, we need Mark. Who put Mark up to this?

00:32:06

We need Mark on the pot.

00:32:08

Did someone put Mark up to this, or did Mark feel compelled to sing something? He's at a wedding. Everybody loves him.

00:32:13

I'm sure Mark has no idea. I'm sure Victoria asked him, assuming it was all good.

00:32:19

And then, according to Denoit, this isn't in what Brooklyn said, but Brooklyn's not pulling punches. I mean, him saying his mother dance inappropriately. Seriously, what did she do? She wasn't even like, hugging him like, My boy, my sweet boy.

00:32:28

Now, a video of Victoria dancing with her father has resurface. And it appears as though she's a sexy dancer, no matter who she's dancing with. What do you mean?

00:32:36

She's just a shoulder dancer.

00:32:37

No, she was...

00:32:40

Show me.

00:32:41

Are you going to get up? Because it's like a two-person thing.

00:32:43

No, no, no. Show me the video. I don't want to dance with you.

00:32:47

Why not? Yeah, sure. Okay, hold on.

00:32:49

It's just like- She dances like a mom from the videos I've seen. I'm sorry. I thought this was like such a lobe. But anyways, Dumont had said That Mark Anthony also introduced her as the most beautiful woman in the room, Victoria Beckham, not the bride.

00:33:06

So she just sways her hips and it's close. I wouldn't say that that's inappropriate, but I could see someone saying it's inappropriate. I'm like, Okay, I guess. Again, I think it's so...

00:33:19

It's just a single person dance that she's doing. That's a solo dance that she's doing with a partner. It's more so just not jiving. But I'm sorry, to call that inappropriate, it brings up the worst connotations.

00:33:30

Of course.

00:33:31

And it's such an- And that's inappropriate.

00:33:32

It's an unforgivable thing to say. Because obviously, that's the takeaway. When I saw it, I was like, Are you kidding?

00:33:38

That's when I was like, Seriously, I got it from my chair. Because regardless of what's in the statement, the fact that he put out eight pages talking about why he's not reconciling with his family. Keep it to yourself. Agreed. That he's speaking on it publicly and so obviously and in such detail is wrong, period. It's spare behavior.

00:34:00

It's giving spare.

00:34:02

It's giving spare the memoir.

00:34:03

Of course it is. And this is oldest son. Oldest. And I feel like I can acknowledge that probably during the wedding planning and the wedding itself, Victoria definitely took opportunities to make it... We're forgetting, this is fucking Posh Spice. It's always been about her. She is this larger than life figure. I could see her being a nightmare to plan a wedding with. And I could see her... I could also Nicola wanting to give her nothing, and I feel like they didn't give her a mother-son dance, which is crazy. She just created the mother-son dance she wished to see in the world and made it this big spectacle. Then now, in hindsight, he could be like, And she was dancing inappropriately. All of these things. I am never, and I feel like, yes, we acknowledge our bias, I am really almost never going to take the side of someone who's publicly dragging their own family.

00:34:57

Who's gathering out the dirty laundry.

00:34:58

Unless your family is a ring of pedophiles or criminals. For the most part, it's like interpersonal family things. And if the family is intact, like you said, it seems like Cruz and Romeo, and they love- Harper 7. They love their dad, they love their mom. They seem to be this really strong family unit. And again, maybe it's the Beckham machine winning me over. But also, I'm also a wife, and if I feel disrespected by my mother-in-law, I want my husband to ride for me. So it is very complicated. I'm trying to look at it and I don't know. I just... Team Beckham. I'm like, Sorry, Team Beckham.

00:35:35

Not Pelt Beckham?

00:35:36

No.

00:35:38

Continuing on, so then he said- To be clear, wait.

00:35:40

Now it makes a lot of sense why they did that freaky Pelt Beckham thing. The name, the name, the name.

00:35:45

My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one. My mom has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.

00:35:54

This is so Queen Elizabeth.

00:35:56

Despite this, we still travel to London for my dad's birthday. So this is where everything deteriorated. Related most recently, the birthday party. We traveled to London for my dad's birthday, and we were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him. He refused all of our attempts unless it was at this big birthday party with 100 guests and cameras at every corner. When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn't invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family traveled to LA, they refused to see me at all. Okay, so obviously something happened between when everyone was harmonious and the 50th birthday party, and he's just leaving that out. He didn't say, They come to London, I only see Brooklyn And nothing happened before that.

00:36:31

Obviously, I don't know David Beckham personally. I just have a really hard time believing he was in the same country as his son and refused to see him, barring something crazy having already happened.

00:36:42

Yeah, and refused to see Nicola. Something Something crazy happened. You left that out.

00:36:46

Yeah, you can hate her, but you still have to see her. She's your daughter-in-law. Or this is his version of events.

00:36:54

But Brooklyn and Nikola were at the premiere of Beckham.

00:36:57

Yeah.

00:36:58

Something happened between that and London, where he refuses to see his children, if he refused to see. No, I think he refused to see. I think what we keep saying is what Brooklyn is saying is true. He's just leaving out key things and painting everything in the worst possible light.

00:37:13

Yeah.

00:37:15

Anyways, he says, My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brian Beckham comes first. Family, quote, love, so love is in quotes as if the love is not real, is decided by how much you post on social media or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo up. So he's saying they're the family that poses. Yeah. Yes. Even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations, what professional obligations?

00:37:35

Wait, was it you making your girl cheese or are you taking a picture on a boy camera?

00:37:39

We've got out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show our, quote, Perfect Family. You know what I hate?

00:37:46

It's him and Nikola acting like they are doing a favor by lending their big names to go into a Victoria's Secret. The best thing that could have ever happened to you is sitting front row at a Victoria Beckham fashion show, acting like they are holier and better than showing up for your mom is them doing her a favor. She's this fabulous cultural icon.

00:38:08

No, but also when you have a major accomplishment, like your family shows up for you. If you want your family to show up to your major accomplishments, have some.

00:38:15

Correct.

00:38:16

Then he says, But the one time my wife asked for my mom's support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mom refused.

00:38:23

Okay, well, now the dogs.

00:38:26

I'm sorry. That can't be the whole truth.

00:38:28

I agree. And also, Yeah. Hold on. And also. And I am an animal lover. Of all the things that happened during the LA wildfires of such destruction, such tragedy, and the dogs, of course, being one of them. You're going to reach out to this woman who you literally hate. It's like a last... No matter what, we're fighting the dogs. Again, dogs are so important. What about people? Dogs are worth saving, of course.

00:39:04

What about people?

00:39:04

But not before people. So I just feel like that needs to be done.

00:39:08

But he wants everyone to now cancel her because of that. But she hates dogs. Yeah, she wouldn't save the dogs. Right.

00:39:14

Dogs, dogs, dogs. Fuck them dogs. Fuck them raggedy old dogs.

00:39:19

I'm just telling you, I'm not buying it.

00:39:21

That's such a low blow.

00:39:23

Such a low blow. It's so Harry and Megan. The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I've been controlled by my parents for most of my life.

00:39:31

That's their job. Sort of like what parents do.

00:39:35

I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose and have found peace and relief. Good. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. I'm sorry. This is Harry and Megan. All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family. That is why we'll be moving to Canada.

00:39:55

It's so Harry and Megan because the overlying thing is all these, he said, she said, But all we want is peace and privacy. There aren't two people who want to be famous more than Harry and Megan, except for Brooklyn and Nikola. We know Nikola now, but you guys forget because I remember back in the day, all She was always running around LA, Hollywood, being an actress, director, whatever. Coming from a very wealthy family, you can just fund that lifestyle. This is the life that she wanted. I'm sure when she's famously exclusively dated, Neppo families in an attempt, remember the Anwar Hadid days? No, I don't. Oh, they dated for a very long time. That was her model era, of course. So please, we... Elephants don't forget, okay? We know this is the life she's always wanted. And it's a life that being rich is amazing. And some people who are rich, it's not enough for them. They do also always want to be famous. So she is now. And it is what she's wanted, I think.

00:40:56

Well, what I always say is, let's see what they do next. If they sail into the sunset into a life of privacy and toxicity free, anxiety free, then you know what? Then what they said was true. They don't want to be on Netflix. They don't want to be at the red carpets. They just wanted their piece. And I will say the proof is in the pudding. But we have to see what they do next.

00:41:15

That's true.

00:41:17

It just makes me really sad because there's no winning for Victoria and David here. How did you respond? Because even if everyone takes their side, even us, we're taking their side and we're laughing at this, but it's her child.

00:41:29

No, it's It's horrible.

00:41:30

It's horrible. It's a nightmare. It made me sick to read it. And to put out something like that is just wrong. If you want to cut ties with your family, go ahead. You don't have to tell the whole world. And I just want... They might have felt like the Beckhams were putting out all this stuff about them. We have been covering this, talking about this for years, and we have nothing- It's so mysterious. We had nothing concrete to go on, and you just took a big shit in the middle of the room. And it was you, not them.

00:41:57

No, it was you. And I think a lot of people are like, Well, Nikola is controlling him. And Nikola wrote this, You know what? You are responsible as a grown man for your own actions. This is your—no, sorry—blood family. I don't know. Like I said, I'm always going to be biased in a situation like this because the person who's spreading their legs, telling everybody what's going on inside their family home, I just find icky. Unless, of course, you have something really nefarious. But this sounds like a lot of just interpersonal family wedding planning drama based on what he's told me.

00:42:29

Cashing personalities these hurt feelings.

00:42:31

And to take it this far, I actually find it deplorable. And I don't know what the general consensus is of people online. I think a lot of people are like, Good for Brooklyn. You got to protect your wife. Wife, priority. And yes, actually, as a wife, of course, your man should always. But it feels like these two are so hell-bent on being victims that they see everything through this perspective of victimhood when they're really not. It sounds like he came from a family that gave him... I mean, if you've read, literally, you have to see his photography book. It is an exercise in parental love because you know they funded that whole project. It's absurd. His cooking shows. It's absurd. It's a joke. And so these are two people who I think found themselves as a couple. And I think they started to get... People were really to their courtship before the wedding. And I think they got high on their own supply and thinking that they're this great power couple like Victoria and David, and they're equals and peers with one another. So, yeah, we'll come to your show, but you better be grateful.

00:43:26

It was like, well, no, you better be grateful. That's the vibe I get.

00:43:29

Yeah. Yeah. And all those things that you just said when you just take out the names and replace them with Harry and Megan stand true. So I understand. I'm glad that they've all found each other in this mean, cold world.

00:43:39

That might be a good segue into our next story. You know what?

00:43:41

It can be. We'll push number two. But there are So many parallels to Harry and Megan. Our next story is that Megan Markel's With Love, Megan, won't return for a third season on Netflix. And I just want to say it's actually a second season. It's not returning for it because the first season was shot... One and two were shot all at once. So they put out the first half, and then they saved the second half and called it season two. But really, it was one season that they shot. And why would they not put out the second half? They already filmed it, no matter how season one performed.

00:44:07

Now, I know all we do is talk about projects that Megan and Harry start and don't finish. So this shouldn't be shocking. I am floored.

00:44:12

I'm always floored when there's an admission of failure. Yeah.

00:44:16

Even though, while the show was heavily criticized, it was heavily watched. It did chart on Netflix.

00:44:21

The second season- Definitely less. Which interviewed last August did not even make the list of the streamers top 10 shows in the US the week it It's just a debut.

00:44:30

Oh, everything makes it.

00:44:31

Everything makes it.

00:44:32

Yeah. I think maybe the intrigue only helped people, because of course, we're curious. And then we found out it wasn't filmed at our house, and it really was so surface level, and we were just eating edible flowers.

00:44:43

Very surface. And I feel like I was a target demo. I'm always saying I want more cooking shows. I enjoyed Bits and Bops of the first season, but at the end of the day, there wasn't real value in the show and things take away for me. You're not learning something because she's not an educator, and we're not learning There was just not enough value to be taken from the show.

00:45:03

It was like, you got to entertain, you got to educate.

00:45:05

Educate. Shows like that, you really have to either educate or it's outrageous and you're entertaining. And there wasn't any of that.

00:45:13

She was really trying to trick us into thinking she was a professional, and a lot of it was very elemental. But even that, these days, esthetic content does so well. It doesn't need to be. But there was just really a serious sense of genuineness missing. It was so scripted. It was so performative. You could tell all of her guests. That was the first time she was meeting all them except for Daniel, the makeup artist. And that was really just very uninteresting. But I'm shocked.

00:45:42

I'm shocked at the admission, but at a certain point- The amount of promo. Companies have to make money. You can't just have this house of cards. So Megan Markle's show, We Love Megan, won't be returning to Netflix. Multiple sources have told Page 6. After the Duchess called the show, A lot of work, one insider said it's not- She said that? I'm sure she said it in the context of a much larger thing, how it's a lot more work than I thought it was. It's not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there's nothing in the works yet, said the insider.

00:46:13

Crossing my fingers for a holiday special.

00:46:14

She did a holiday special this year. Right.

00:46:16

It was season two.

00:46:17

No. Was it? It wasn't just a separate as ever with Love holiday, loving the holidays with.

00:46:23

In an as ever type of way? I don't know. Okay. We do need to start a list of Megan's failed projects, only because there are so many. Confessions of a Teen founder.

00:46:37

Yeah.

00:46:38

With Love Megan now. Archetypes. Wasn't there a Disney Plus initiative?

00:46:44

Well, There was an initiative. Was it an animated series? And was it not Netflix? How are they doing Netflix and Disney Plus? And also, did she do a children's book? Yes, she did. Or did Harry?

00:46:55

Can you give me a list of all of Megan Markle's projects in the last five years?

00:46:59

I think she did a children's book called The Bench.

00:47:01

The Bench, yes. That came and went quite quickly.

00:47:04

Harry still owes Random House two books.

00:47:06

Two books. So Netflix and TV. Okay, they did the docuseries, which I do feel like to this day is their most successful venture. With Love, Megan, Heart of Invictus, which is a documentary about Harry's involvement in the Invictus Games.

00:47:19

And they're also making the Polo documentary for Netflix.

00:47:21

Polo is next. Live to Lead, which was a docuseries featuring leaders and influencers, produced by Megan. Oh, also known as I have to Lead. In 2022, holiday specials in short form content, including holiday episodes of With Love, Megan, and a short social media video content, Megan Teese is a part of bigger content plans. Archwell. Oh, Meet Me at the Lake.

00:47:45

Okay, we're waiting for that.

00:47:47

Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, which is a documentary short. I'm not sure if it's come out yet. Let me just check.

00:47:54

I just don't think documentary short is where it's going to- Product launches, of course, or Shelfstable Food. Right. As ever.

00:48:03

Asever. Asever. Asever. Podcast, female founder, and Archetypes, and then, of course, Archwell.

00:48:08

Okay, so Asever is still going.

00:48:10

Asever is still going.

00:48:13

And let's see what happens with that. I also saw somewhere in this article that now she's going to focus more on social content for her cooking and stuff, more bite-size content. But her social is a disaster.

00:48:27

Un desastre. It's insane. Yeah. I can't believe it. Yeah.

00:48:31

So I don't have hope for that.

00:48:34

Yeah. I wonder how much money they have. For real, for real.

00:48:38

I'm sure they have many millions.

00:48:41

But they spend many millions. But they spend many millions, yeah.

00:48:43

And they want more millions. They don't have as many millions as the people that they are hanging out with.

00:48:50

The life post-royalty, once you're officially cut off, no matter how high you start, it's almost impossible to survive. What was her name? Fergie. You eventually end up becoming just a tabloid run down. And these are two people who started with everything, especially in America, the adoration of America. And it's just this tale as old as time, no matter who you are, you could start out strong, but it's not looking good.

00:49:22

No, it's not good. And not even to make it for a third season, a second shoot.

00:49:28

Is rough.

00:53:55

Thanks, Koji. You're welcome. Our next story, Summerhouse stars Amanda Patula and Kyle Cooke split after four years of marriage.

00:54:02

Now, if you know anything about the marriage or the relationship that preceded it, quite literally, nothing about this is shocking. There were also rumors.

00:54:09

The last- The shock to me is like- That they did it. She did it. Yeah. So many reasons of it seems like not a flourishing relationship, but then at the reading, we're good, we're strong, they love each other, we're happy. And then to be like, actually, no.

00:54:24

Yeah. I do. There's just this celebration happening for anyone that's found this out. Like, Amanda's free. But I don't know. I really started to change my tune on it a couple... I feel like when I watch the most recent season because it's like, yes, Kyle is this 40-year-old man child. He's DJing. He's acting like he wants to be a serious person. He's not. He cheated on her. He's awful. He does inappropriate things. He fell asleep at a fan's house. But that's her low life. She clearly loved him so much. To put up with an iota of the stuff that she put up with, I think anyone else would have walked away. But she really loved him so much. I don't know, after all the that they've been through. They had been through worse. Falling asleep at a fan's house is bad, but they had been through worse. I don't know. At a certain point, I just started waiting for them because she really loved him.

00:55:08

Yeah, the love must be so strong that these things don't really register. I think falling asleep at a fan's house is... Bad. Falling asleep at a fan's house when you're married for four years, I think is worse than cheating in the early stage of your relationship. Drunk, blackout, whatever happened. It was obviously a mistake. It wasn't like he was carrying on an affair. I think falling asleep at his fan's house four years into your marriage is worse.

00:55:33

I mean, it's all bad. I think we're all mad.

00:55:36

Yeah, but I just think that that is bonkers.

00:55:39

It is. And I think it's a real... It just makes me sad. I'm not celebrating this like everybody else because what I see is a girl who just wasted so much time on this real low life. I don't know. They were married for four years. They dated for many years before that. And she did get a lot out of the marriage, I think. But at the end of the day, I don't It's like, thank God they didn't have kids. For real. Yeah. Because a divorce when you don't have kids is such a low lift.

00:56:07

I wonder what was it for her. Because the fan house thing happened months ago, enough that it's in the preview for the coming season that hasn't even aird yet. So it happened over the summer, say.

00:56:15

Right. A lot of people think it's like his new found DJ career, but he has been doing that on the low for a long time.

00:56:20

Almost like we've seen two seasons of it.

00:56:22

And it seems absurd, of course, but this is a person whose job it is to party. It's not that crazy. Yeah.

00:56:26

It's good for his alcohol brand. It's good for his reality TV career. But now it's six months after, more or less, falling asleep at a fan's house. Why now?

00:56:37

Why now? Why this fan?

00:56:39

What changed in their relationship that was different than a year ago or two years ago? Or maybe it just compounds and it's like, I can't take this anymore.

00:56:45

Yeah, and I'm curious because this was a marriage. Are we going to get the very stereotypical Call Her Daddy episode? He was texting other bitches and you find out really what color their underwear was. Or that doesn't happen. I don't feel like that happens a lot with who are married. When you are, yeah.

00:57:02

To me, it's completely comparable to Tom and Katie.

00:57:07

Oh, great. You're all about the great analogies today.

00:57:11

Oh, well, thank you so much. Two people who were married for what felt longer and by the end, they're so different. How are they ever together? Where it's going to feel like- But also the whole time people knew this was a bad marriage. But they told us that their best friend's Baba Rubba Shaba.

00:57:22

Baba Rubba Shaba.

00:57:24

And so we're like, Okay, Baba Rubba. You're right. Where obviously TV is not showing us something in the edit. We're wrong. Baba Rubba.

00:57:30

Baba Rubba.

00:57:32

And in a year from now, it's going to feel like, how were these two people ever married? Tom and Katie, how were those two people ever married?

00:57:40

It's an amazing comparison. It's so true. So I'm curious, And they never really turned around and were like, They did this.

00:57:48

They were so terrible.

00:57:49

No, they hate each other, and they leave mean comments on each other's Instagrams and stuff. But we never got a full exposé because at the end of the day, it was a marriage. And even if you hate that person, you should want to protect them publicly.

00:57:59

But also because Because they were on reality TV, I think we saw what happened. I think that's the same thing with Kyle and Amanda. One, whatever they want to share with us, they'll share on their show in their time. And two, we've seen it all play out. I don't think there's a lot of stuff that we don't know. I don't think there's going to be a sit down tell all about things that happen in the marriage that we don't know. Maybe a sit down tell all about how I'm feeling about it.

00:58:21

Of course. Now, where does this leave Summerhouse? Because yes, people break up Carl and Lindsay, but this was a marriage and an eight-year relationship. Who gets to the show? Does one of them have to go?

00:58:32

I don't think so.

00:58:33

I mean, it's fucking crazy if they continue to spend the summer together. Like, I just want to say. Yeah. Especially because I really feel like a part of Amanda Hates Kyle. I mean, how can you not? He's so awful. So it's not like some people get divorced and it's like, wrong.

00:58:47

It's Lindsay Hates Carl.

00:58:49

Right. But they just weren't married. They did not share a life. For a year, they did.

00:58:54

But they were very close. This is a more extreme version of that. But when they ended their engagement, it was like, how could they be in the same house together? And then they did it.

00:59:03

Well, because I don't know if that would have been the case if she didn't end up getting pregnant and literally, new life, who dis? Like, Carl is so yesterday's news. She literally had a baby a year later. I think it would have been different. I don't know. Is she going to start dating? I don't know.

00:59:17

I feel like... And also I had seen something that he had a cousin's wedding, and she wasn't at the wedding. She didn't go. Even at BravoCon, people were like, they were living separately. They just finished filming the city. I feel like they've been broken up for a while. Yeah. And even before that, they were unhappy. So I feel like her being with someone else starting now would be fair to say.

00:59:38

Yeah. I also think- Will it be Jessie Solomon? You're going to have to pull Summerhouse from Kyle's cold, dead hands. He's not going quietly. No. And I'm so curious, of course, about where this leaves the stock for Loverboy. I do feel like at one time, I forget who owns what percentage, but they did not sign a prenup. So Amanda is entitled to have a whatever Kyle owns. I do feel like at one point it was a really very valuable... I do feel like it's changed. I feel like Amanda would have been like, You can have it. It's yours and whatever. I think at one point, they were on track to actually be a really successful beverage company and maybe get acquired by... But I don't feel like that's the case anymore. I could see Amanda being like, Listen, I hate this marriage. And if this is what's holding us together, just have it.

01:00:23

Yeah. I wonder how it will go. I could imagine her... And also he's so wrapped up in it. It is his whole entire self. I think she might just be like, Just have it and I'll take the dogs.

01:00:33

I'm taking the dogs, dumbass. Yeah, this feels a little bit like Megan. I'm not surprised by it, but I'm surprised that it actually was admitted. Yeah. That we're doing it. Yeah. And I just like, I don't know. I'm not like, everybody, the collective joy and celebration. It's sad. This is a girl who literally wasted so much of her life.

01:00:54

They've probably been together 10 years. That's terrible.

01:00:57

What does she walk away from this marriage with? Just terrible memories. It's sad. I feel bad for her.

01:01:04

Yeah, but we'll see what happens in terms of the show.

01:01:06

Yeah, I'm curious. I do feel like this breathes a little bit of an interesting life into summer house. I feel like they needed it.

01:01:12

Well, I feel like this season looks to be good based on the preview It hasn't even come out yet. Was there a trailer? Yeah. And then The End fan. That was just a trailer.

01:01:19

Oh, right.

01:01:20

I also think if they've been separated for months, then it will happen on the show. Because I do think that that's true. It's been reported for It's been months now, but everyone just let them come to it in their own time. So it's not like they broke up yesterday.

01:01:34

But there was also the announcement of a spin off-ish type of show of Summerhouse. So maybe Kyle gets Summerhouse and Amanda gets The City.

01:01:40

Oh, true. That would be good. That would be nice. But yeah, they finished filming The City right before Bravo Con, and they came in literally right off set, and they were like, Oh, it's crazy. I think that's when the marriage ended.

01:01:49

Oh, and that's actually a good platform for a new show to launch off of. Yeah. Love that. Very Sheena Shay, Eddie Sibrian.

01:01:55

Our next story, some drama with the Glambot director.

01:02:00

Oh, my God. I'm fucking obsessed with this. I'm also confused because I was not entirely sure. I don't know if you know the guy. He goes really viral on TikTok.

01:02:10

I've seen him before, but I didn't realize he was such a personality for owning the glam bot.

01:02:15

I don't know if he owns. That's my thing. Years ago, this guy who clearly was the guy who would go to award shows with the glam bot and tell people, Okay, you have to stand here. It's a three-second camera. Turn it two seconds. He gives them directions. He started filming a lot of behind the scenes, and you would see celebrities come up. You would them do the glam bot, and you would see if they were friendly or not. And an element of it, not to be like, Well, now that he's getting canceled, I always knew he was bad. But there was an element of nefariousness to it because you're filming people they don't know. And these are people at a work event. They're not always like... Because there's a video of JLo going viral now. She walked up to the glam bot. She's not rude or anything. She's not super chatty. Now people know they're being filmed. They'll be like, How are you? How's your son? He's eight, right? You know what I mean? They use it as an opportunity to be like, I'm a good celebrity. Because at first he was filmed and they were going so viral because it felt like this guy was behind the scenes.

01:03:00

They don't know they're being filmed. What are celebrities really like to the cast and crew? But an element of it always felt a little icky to me because you're filming people without their consent. He knew what he was doing when he would post videos. Sometimes people would come up into this. Jaila one is going viral recently. She doesn't say a lot. She's obviously done the glam about 1,000 times. She walks up, she's like, Hi. He's like, Is it a three-second camera? She's like, She does her pose. He's like, Thanks so much. And she waves. She literally maybe says one word. She's not rude, but she's already having a tough time. And so it went super bad. Jailo's rude to the cast and crew. He ended up taking the video down. I just I don't know. His thing always bothered me. Also because does he own the Glambot? A fun fact that not a lot of people know is that the Glambot was actually created for the E-Network by Joseph Kahn, the guy who directed a lot of Taylor Swift's music videos. So in terms of who owns it, I don't know. Maybe he copy-catted it and brings it to a war shows.

01:03:49

I don't know what his relationship with the intellectual property- The technology is. But he's the guy, and he's also made himself a celebrity. He's an influencer now. So something about it always felt like a little icky to me, I just want to say. And now it turns out he's quite an icky individual because this exchange is getting leaked, and I never even thought about it. It's like a photo booth. Yeah, you could book it for your own event. And this woman reached out to him directly being like, I would like to be an email. I'm having a wedding. I would like to book the glam bot. What is the cause associated and how do I book? And what follows is the nastiest fucking exchange ever.

01:04:23

Yes. So in a series of messages from 2019 that are surfacing now, she reached out to him to book the Services of the Glambot, apparently for a wedding, but she was met with a resistance from the filmmaker, the Glambot guy, who stressed that hiring him and the Glambot would be expensive. He said, quote, Just so you are aware, the Glambot is a camera system and personnel used by a network television station for one of the biggest red carpets of the year.

01:04:46

Okay, can I read the whole exchange? Sure. She reached out, put in an inquiry, and he goes, Hi, Yinka. Thanks for reaching out. Just so you are aware, the Glambot is a camera system and personnel used by a network television station for one of the biggest red carpets of the year. It is not cheap. If you feel like this is something that might be within your budget range, I am happy to discuss further. So the girl was pretty much unfazed. The girl was very wealthy. She goes, Yeah. She said, Hi, Cole. Yeah, it's something in my budget range. Smiley face. Thanks. He responds, Hi, Yinka. Copy. I don't see how you could be since I didn't say how much it was. And it could be between $10,000 and a million. But to her, it It's going to be a million. It doesn't matter to this woman. He says...

01:05:33

She says.

01:05:34

Sorry. She says... Yeah, I just assumed it was very pricey since it's featured at the Oscars. So what are the steps to book? Would you be the person that comes? Do you just work with them for carpets? What's the rundown? All very good questions that I myself am also wondering. It's a crew of about 15 people, plus network setups, rehearsals, gear drop off, camera rental, lighting rentals, insurance permits, etc. Rehearsals? He's saying that's what happens at an award show. We really don't give a fuck. We're trying to book it for our wedding.

01:06:02

For some drunk friends.

01:06:03

He's just trying to be impressive to this random woman. She said, Okay, so where would I begin? Through you or through a website? He says, This is where it really gets crazy. Okay, it's $300,000, and I'll take a 10% deposit to secure the gear. And once I have the deposit, I can do a contract. Ready to get started? She said, Thanks, Cole. I'll reach out by Monday. He says, If you wanted to know how much it cost, you just needed to ask. You don't need to pretend you're going to book it. She said, I did. That's why I asked. I want to book it. That's the end of the exchange. What an asshole.

01:06:40

Yeah, a lot of thoughts. So his defense is that someone could just reach out- Inquires a lot.

01:06:46

I'm sure it happens a lot.

01:06:46

No, inquire and just put him on blast. This is what it costs. But I don't think anyone would expect for it to be cheap. If it got leaked that the Glamot costs $300,000 for you to be at your wedding, I think people would be like, Okay, so don't have the $300,000 Glambot at your wedding.

01:07:00

To be clear, I thought it was so expensive that you couldn't even get it for a private event. It never even occurred to me. So, yeah, I would have found that fact interesting. I imagine he does get a lot of annoying inquiries from fans, like Stan Twitter. So don't run an internet business. This is what you wanted and this is what you got.

01:07:15

However, I would like to see, just to know where this all landed. Her wedding.

01:07:20

Oh, yeah.

01:07:21

Could she have afforded the glam bot?

01:07:23

Oh, yes. Very much so.

01:07:25

Okay.

01:07:25

Then, of course, the picture that shows he's now being accused of racism because she's a black woman. And so it's like, well, what? You didn't think a black woman could afford it? Is that why you were being so nasty? So nasty and so rude.

01:07:37

And condescending. Yeah.

01:07:39

And apparently she's like, a Nigerian princess. She could have afforded it and then so. Oh, my God. I'm crying. That's what I read on Twitter. So just like, you know. That's the wedding. You can sweat. Oh, that's the best. Yeah. It was a lovely affair. Glambotless, of course.

01:07:54

She had three beautiful ceremonies of her.

01:07:56

Yeah, it wasn't a budget thing. That's why she reached out and she was just like, Whatever it's going to be, it's going to be. He's like an asshole.

01:08:04

Someone said, mind you, Yinka had been keeping that email thread since 2019.

01:08:08

Oh, is it from 2019? Yeah.

01:08:09

Committed to seeing the downfall of an enemy. But why did she just post this now?

01:08:14

I don't know. Oh, that's funny. I didn't know it was from 2019, but it's literally going so viral.

01:08:19

Yeah, that's really crazy. When someone wants your service, just send how much it costs. Also, it also felt like he was pulling $300,000 out of thin air to be like, Oh, No, he made it up.

01:08:30

Yeah. Okay.

01:08:32

Unprofessional.

01:08:33

Unprofessional. It's funny that this happened in 2019 because when you think about... When I think about the trajectory of the glam bot career, that was his heyday, '29. No, wait. Because 2020 was COVID. So he was acting like this before he really popped off.

01:08:48

In the beginning of the glam bot.

01:08:50

No, but I'm talking about him and his personal... Because it sounds like maybe he got famous and got to be an asshole. But in 2019- And I imagine in 2019, before he got famous, he wasn't getting rogue emails from people reaching out.

01:09:00

It would have been a real customer.

01:09:01

Yeah. So he was an asshole before the fame, which is frightening.

01:09:04

Yeah. But having a glam bot at your wedding would be sick.

01:09:07

Such a slay.

01:09:08

Such a slay.

01:09:10

Never even thought about it. I need to get married again.

01:09:12

And get $300,000. And the thing about the...

01:09:14

I don't even think it's 300,000 because actually what I saw was somebody was like, and again, I have to stop falling for AI. Because I saw somebody going on the website being like, It's actually $5,000. It's not even that crazy because it's just A video with slowmo.

01:09:31

What are we talking about?

01:09:33

Maybe the network one is a bigger deal. Yeah, for sure.

01:09:35

But it's just a video on a neck, a camera on a neck that swivels, and then you slow it down. I feel like that's a good business idea. Someone should do an at home glam bot and then bring it to weddings.

01:09:46

Okay. A glam bot rental for an event, according to Google Gemini, typically costs around $3,000 to $6,000 for the standard package, including set up, an attendant, and then unlimited videos with instant sharing.

01:09:56

Yeah, it's not that proprietary, actually.

01:09:59

For large activations, corporate events, costs can jump to $13,000.

01:10:02

Yeah, and the one that's 360 where everyone's like, damn thing. Yes, exactly.

01:10:06

Like, yeah.

01:10:06

Like, Gerald.

01:10:07

Yeah, right. Event photo booths are really sophisticated these days. It's not what it once was.

01:10:12

It used to be the biggest- But you can literally get any of them for any event. I didn't even question 300,000.

01:10:18

Me neither. Now that I'm thinking about it, it's one camera. And on a fancy- On a neck. Yeah.

01:10:24

And then you slow it down, which you could do in your phone.

01:10:29

Yeah.

01:10:30

You could do a homemade glam.

01:10:32

Not that crazy.

01:10:32

You could do a homemade glam bot.

01:10:34

I don't know. I just feel like I always felt like his intentions with the behind the scenes celebrity videos always rubs me the wrong way. Now, celebrities know. So they know when it's glam bot time, their publicists are like, The whole thing's filmed. Be nice. Whereas before, you were walking on a carpet, you're at a work event, you smile for the glam bot, and then you go on about your day, you're not schmoozing. So him filming everyone and setting it up. For the first year or two, people didn't know that they were being filmed. It just felt icky to me. So I just want to say I was praying for his downfall.

01:11:01

Yeah, especially if the crime, like J-Lo.

01:11:04

It's just being quiet.

01:11:05

It's just being short and quiet. No one's like, barking orders. Correct.

01:11:11

I don't know. I didn't like it.

01:11:13

Our fifth and final story The Traitor's Recap. Oh, let me get a stretch.

01:11:18

Let me also.

01:11:19

You know what?

01:11:19

I might need my- put on my Invisibility Cloak.

01:11:20

I might need my sunglasses, too.

01:11:22

So two episodes were released.

01:11:23

Traitor's spoiler's incoming. This is pretty much the end of the show. So if you haven't caught up, stay tomorrow.

01:11:28

Have a great day. We'll see you tomorrow. Okay. So the first episode, the second episode is where the big things happened and where I really have a lot to say about Colton v. Michael Rappaport. And I have been a staunch defender of Michael Rappaport because I just felt like this entire time, he's been himself. He is just like, loudmouth, housewives obsessed. And that's who they cast And that's what they wanted, and that's what they got. And then I do feel like a lot of people were unfairly coming for Michael. And then this episode, if you hated Michael, yeah, put him on. It was Michael v. Colton, and I just... I hate...

01:12:04

I have no problem with what Michael said.

01:12:06

I hate Colton. Okay, so let's just talk about... Let's get right to the mix of potatoes.

01:12:09

And then we'll talk about all this stuff because we'll all branch off.

01:12:11

They were all accusing one another of...

01:12:13

And I just want to say, up until now, everyone's been hating that Colton's on the show. They've been saying the Cassie and he doesn't deserve a platform. It is really crazy.

01:12:20

People in this sphere, we're always talking about cancel culture. Somebody says an opinion that's unpopular, they get canceled, brands, whatever, they're never allowed to leave their house But I feel like when we talk about cancel culture, a lot of times we loop in criminals like Kevin Spacey. I'm not talking about Kevin Spacey. I'm talking about Camilla Cabello in her old tweets. You know what I mean? There are levels. I actually like cancel culture for men who stalk women and put GPS trackers on their car. Call me crazy. I don't feel like that's the same as having tweets from high school. When I'm talking about cancel culture, I am not talking about Colton Underwood because you know what? I want him to be canceled. He's a crazy person, okay? So you are never going to find me defending Colton Underwood. And I feel like this has been like, he thought he was real. This show is so big and it really makes sense.

01:13:09

He thought it was this renaissance.

01:13:11

Of the very Dylan Efron edit. I think he thought, this is my time. And he came in with his sweater vests and his fun, Are you gay? Did you play football for 17 years? Say it again. We don't give a fuck. Okay? He's so bothering me so much. And then the comment.

01:13:25

Yeah. And I think he wants to glaze over his time on reality TV because It is murky. Questionable. First of all, the fact that he was on the show The Bachelor, dated 33 women. He talked out of his side of him because he said at the breakfast that he didn't know he was gay when he was on The Bachelor.

01:13:45

People don't know him there. He's not really famous in this new reality TV world.

01:13:49

Everyone's older. They didn't watch Colton Caesar.

01:13:51

Someone was like, Oh, you were the bachelor?

01:13:52

Or they're younger and they didn't watch Colton Caesar.

01:13:55

So they know he's gay, but they're like, Oh, wait, you were the bachelor? And he was like, Yeah, but I didn't know I was gay. So he says it that morning. Yeah.

01:14:01

He dated 33 women on national television in pursuit of marriage, and he didn't know he was gay. That's what he said. Right.

01:14:06

And then at the roundtable, when his coming out timeline is being discussed, he's saying, Well, are you saying that I'm going to keep being a secret because I kept a secret for 29 years? Well, I thought you didn't know for 29 years.

01:14:15

He said, You think it was fun for 29 years of my life keeping that secret? So did you know or didn't know? We can talk about that. But also, I think he wants to glaze over that whole era because it ended with him stalking his His fiancé. She had a protective order against him. She had a restraining order against him. He put a tracker on her car. There were harassing text messages. Her whole family. I don't think anybody really takes umbrage with the fact that Colton was the bachelor, and now he's gay because- Who cares? Shit happens. No, and it's TV. Okay. And it's I'm sure he played football in the NFL. I'm sure he had a very long journey to understanding himself.

01:14:51

Of course, an uneasy one.

01:14:52

Right. So no one was mad that Colton was the bachelor. No. But that chapter of stalking his ex is if you You could take issue with Colton for that.

01:15:02

Oh, and I do, mind you. Justice for Cassie Randolph.

01:15:04

So he wants to glaze over the whole thing and just be like, Colton on Traitors. I will say for the first few episodes, I was enjoying his arc on Traitors. I felt like he was really playing the game hard, but then he started playing too hard. And this, to me, was the demise of his arc on the show when he came after Tiffany all of a sudden, really baseless. She's sitting there crying. The whole room was- It was devastating. And he's whipping up votes, and he can just decide who is going to be the traitor. And then he's going to- He's a very compelling, charismatic guy.

01:15:33

People really listen to him.

01:15:35

Yeah. And in the first few episodes, I was enjoying it, too. He's putting together things. And it's a shame because he's overplayed his hand at this point. And his next theory, he's actually onto something with Lisa Rinna.

01:15:44

Yeah, but it's too bad.

01:15:44

But so with Tiffany, that was really sad to see. And I could also imagine this game is a mindfuck. You think someone's a traitor, you're going to go hard for them. So he goes so hard for Tiffany. She's sitting there crying. Like Michael Applefort said, she felt crazy, alone, and isolated, and she gets sent home. So the next day, he's back at it again.

01:16:01

Wait, mind you, what he just did is the crime they will not let Ron off the hook for. Ron, actually- Had evidence. The whole point of this game is you have to accuse someone. It's not a crime to accuse someone. It's not a crime to be wrong, especially if you came to... He convinced me. She did flub her multiple times. It wasn't like he pulled this thing out of thin air. Literally, Colton went off of vibes. So baseless that his crime to me is more egregious. He should have been sent home immediately.

01:16:31

Also, it's not a crime to get it wrong. It's the point. But like Michael Rappaport said the next day, you have egg on your face. Maybe take a back seat. Your sniffer is off. And he's like, Well, if I miss a shot, I'm Again, take a sip of water before your next shot. Let me rethink the game. Restrategize. Work on your shot.

01:16:51

So then comes the comment. They're going back and forth. Michael is now his new target.

01:16:55

He's going to try to get everyone- But I just want to say, leading up to that, I felt like Colton was going too hard. And knowing that Michael's obviously not the trader, he does need to reassess the things that he thinks makes someone the trader because you went so hard and you were so wrong. He also was taking credit for calling out Donna as the trader when he was not the one with that original idea. He thinks that is a win in Colton's pocket. He did not vote for Donna in the first roundtable. It was a bandwagon, Donna. Yeah.

01:17:21

So they're having the conversation, and Michael was being accused of being a traitor. So his strategy is like, You're the traitor. Actually, you're the one pointing fingers at everyone. And if anyone here is going to keep a secret, it's you.

01:17:33

Yeah. He said, Just like Tiffany last night, I'm angry, I'm pissed off, and I'm isolated because of him. And nobody in this room would be better at holding a secret than you. Which is...

01:17:43

So now immediately, Colton took it as like, Oh, homophobic. You're saying because I held in a secret for 29 years, even though this morning I said I didn't, because I held in a secret for 29 years that I'm gay, that I would be a good traitor. And everybody's clutching their pearls. Johnny Weer is going to pass out. And they immediately sent him home because they literally just decided moment, he's a homophobe. Nobody wants to be touching the homophobe. It's like, rip Michael Rappaport. Here lies Michael.

01:18:06

In that moment, Michael Rappaport was banished. It's funny.

01:18:09

I do believe that Michael Rappaport did not mean that because he has no idea at first why everyone's so I guess. He's like...

01:18:19

He doesn't even know to apologize.

01:18:21

He has no idea what's going on.

01:18:23

Because he didn't know that he said something that could be perceived as so wrong. And immediately, once it's made clear to him what they I think he said- Johnny Wears said the closet, and Michael's like, The closet?

01:18:33

I'm not talking about that.

01:18:34

Right. He's like, and I don't even know if Michael knows about all the Cassie stuff, but like, yes- And by the way, he does not. It's a deceitful person who would do something like that. Michael's like, No, you just are... And I think his vibe, Colton, coming into the show, he's so amped up on the show and playing the game. I think he really wanted to be the traitor. And that's what Michael's saying. No.

01:18:53

And Michael's also accusing him of being able to hold a secret, not because he was closeted, but because Michael believes him to be a traitor. So the crew, the vibe shifts immediately. Michael is sent home in that moment. Everybody ends up voting for him.

01:19:06

Even Johnny Wears was like, I don't care who you are.

01:19:08

I want you out of my... My castle, girl. I didn't even forgot you were here. I want you out of my castle.

01:19:14

That was not it.

01:19:15

Now, the reason I'm wearing my glasses is I just want to say one thing. I do not believe that Michael Rappaport meant that. I really, really don't.

01:19:24

Also, because Michael Rappaport seriously can't help himself. And if he meant that, he would say, Yeah, I meant that.

01:19:29

He doesn't like He drives off of moments like that. So, yeah, he would have gone down in a blaze of glory. He doesn't care.

01:19:35

He would have gone hard. He would have doubled down and been like, Yes. And I meant it.

01:19:39

As far as Michael knows, given the conversation that was had that morning, Colton didn't hold a secret for 29 years. He was just a late in life gay guy. The thing is, Colton is always talking about his sexuality, and I'm telling you, nobody gives a fuck. Nobody cares. He's always talking about how he's gay, and he played football for 17 years. Nobody cares. He's just one of those people who thinks that everybody's always thinking about him. So when he's sitting there, so victim. And there it is.

01:20:02

Yeah. And he just went from being the biggest baddest in the house. And that's what bothering me about this show. It's like, everybody came on first episode like, trash talk. I'm going to kill you. I'm going to murder. I'm going to taste your blood, and I'm going to like it. And Michael frames something in a way that they found offensive. Everyone's like, Oh. Fletching their bro. All of a sudden, Stop the game. They know he's a faithful. Send him home even though he's a faithful. I can't believe he said that. It's like, you guys are talking about killing each other. How you're going to be the baddest, nastiest person in the house, lying to people. They're telling you these traitors, people are opening up to you and you are going to use it against them. And because Michael frames something in a way that felt unwoke to you, Stop the game.

01:20:43

And I just want to say shout out to the very few people at that table who did not vote for Michael because the people that voted for Michael did not actually, at that point, even think that he was a traitor. They just wanted to be marked safe as woke.

01:20:53

From cancelation. But I actually think, and they just wanted... I think they also want to do what they think the fans are going to want them to do. And for And what I've seen, people do not feel the way they thought they were going to feel about this situation.

01:21:04

No, for the most part, nobody thought Michael meant that. It would have been a crazy thing to say, and they don't think that.

01:21:08

Despite the fact that everybody does dislike Michael. He's not popular online, but I actually think Colton's less popular. And in this moment, they're like, no, he was actually saying true things about Colton, and all of that was missed. And everybody with their backs up, like a pearls clutching.

01:21:26

It was so floosery.

01:21:28

And it was so phony. Yeah.

01:21:30

I feel like there's an SNL sketch that mimics what this was because it was just the most performative, I want you out of my castle. Meanwhile, it hasn't impacted the show in the smallest way. Shout out to Steven Kaletty for still voting for Ron.

01:21:44

And Candice.

01:21:45

Candice and Lisa both voted for Ron, but they have ulterior motives. So it was just a real exercise in groupthink. It was so herd mentality. I now believe that this group of people to be the biggest losers on the on it. I thought it was so lame. And if they don't like Michael, they found the show filming with him unpleasant. That I understand. But under the guise, framing him as a homophobe, which really I do not believe that he is, was so fucking lame. It was just the lamest group of people doing the lamest thing. The theme was lame. I do not think he meant that. I cannot stand Colton. It was the best thing to happen to him in that moment.

01:22:22

Yeah. And also the heat off of him. They're not going to vote him out at the next roundtable, lest that he be homophobic as well. That would be homophobic, yeah. However, will the traitor send him home now that he's on to Lisa Rinna. He did say that in front of a group of people, so I do think that that would be curious if they sent him home. But I also think he might have picked up a shield.

01:22:38

I think he might have picked up a shield, too. And yes, it was unfortunate that he said it in such a good big group of people because it, one, makes him suspicious of everyone in that group, Rob, and two, it confirms Lisa as a traitor. When Lisa found out, that was so funny. Fucking Colton.

01:22:53

Fuck. But she actually is playing it wrong because she has been really quiet. She is. Yes. Even though Candice, I'm team Monique, Candice is playing it really well.

01:23:01

She's speaking- And the sunglasses is a great call by Colton.

01:23:03

And the over-the-top reactions when they come in and then not really putting her neck out there at the roundtable. Which like, regular Lisa Rinna would. Right. So Candice is speaking enough that you think that she's so safe. I mean, Johnny and Tara trust her so much. They're about to let her in on their big secret.

01:23:18

I can't wait for them to just reveal we're best friends for life, and everybody's like, okay. Seriously, nobody cares. I think they really think they're doing something. Yeah.

01:23:28

And I think Rob's also playing a really good game, but also because people don't know him that much, so they don't know what to expect. But what bothers me is Michael was so entertaining on the show. He had so many good one-liners. I will miss his presence. And then when Maura is really bothering me, she's like, Stop talking. You talk too much. It's like, Girl, you don't talk enough. Does anyone want to say something at this roundtable? Does anyone want to bring something forward? Everyone is so scared of me. Yes, when you put something out there, you now have a target on your back. But what? You're just going to hide your way through the show.

01:23:56

No, the show rewards pacifism. Hiding and being forgotten about will get far. And that, I just think, is the flaw in this show, because the more interesting you are and the more vocal you are, the more likelihood that you won't last very long.

01:24:08

Yeah, but also it protects you because the traders don't want to eliminate distractions. But your fellow faithfuls will eliminate you because they're dumb as fuck.

01:24:16

No, the round tables are actually a sociological. They are the Stanford prison experiment. It is so fascinating to see how in a group, different personalities mesh and how easy it is for people to just become so caught up in actual fantasy. It was really interesting. And I agree, Maura's giving nothing except for being carried around by Rob, of which I ship wholeheartedly.

01:24:38

If Maura and Rob fall in love, then it will all have been worth it. You're a traitor. What is she going to do when she finds out Rob is a traitor? I wonder if Rob will sell out one of his own for his love, Maura. I love that. I also read something- What did I? About Candice and Rob. Yes. That they're not on good terms right now.

01:24:55

From what happened.

01:24:57

Because I was also thinking it would behoove a traitor to put up the name of a fellow traitor at the roundtable and get them eliminated. They're seen as a traitor. So traders will have to turn on each other at some point. And I think Rob is ready to run from these two.

01:25:10

Not only that, but Rob is going to help his fellow traitor to a certain point. And again, he sees these two cackling hags who are not taking it seriously. And so he told her he did his due diligence. It didn't sound like he wanted to fight that hard for Lisa Rin.

01:25:22

No. And if he's been in the colds in voting block this whole time, he can't change his stance. Yeah.

01:25:27

Yeah.

01:25:29

Yeah.

01:25:30

I can't wait. Every night, Ben gets into bed. We have more traitors. It's the best show.

01:25:34

Yeah. And it's like when I'm watching it, I'm like, these people, there's a stupid... Or the stupidity. But then when it ends, I'm like, I feel a withdrawal. Yeah. The round tables are the best part. I would love to like, binge it.

01:25:47

Well, you could binge last season.

01:25:49

I could, but I don't want to get confused. And it would be interesting to know, are the people who are always the loudest, never the traitors.

01:25:54

I just feel like also it's very different every year. I think they choose different types of people. And then also different personalities, mesh, and like, some season rewards the quiet people, and some seasons don't.

01:26:03

Yeah. I feel like for the faithfuls, they can't really just go on what happened last season. Oh, there were two gamers as traitors last season, which means we got to get rid of the gamers. You need a tabular asset. It's almost better if you haven't watched because you don't have these preconceived notions of what it should be.

01:26:19

Right. Rob watched and studied and knew a murder in plain sight was happening, and he got his ass out. Knowledge is not power. Right. Justice for Michael Rappaport.

01:26:29

Yeah. For the viewers, because his presence will be missed.

01:26:32

Conniving, colluding, commiserating.

01:26:35

Commiserating, culton. And justice for Tiffany.

01:26:38

That was devastating. Candice is such an empath. I actually also felt really... I could see why she got so showed up was also just good for her image as a traitor.

01:26:48

Yes, but also I don't understand why Tiffany voted for Jam Jam that night because the vote was between her and Ron. So why wouldn't you put more votes in the Ron? She's a gamer. That's like 101. You don't vote for the third party that has No chance.

01:27:00

Well, first... Oh, sorry. Your things are written down before you see anyone else's vote.

01:27:05

Oh, I guess also there must be so much more roundtable discussion.

01:27:08

I don't think they knew in that moment that she was going home.

01:27:10

No, no, no. But it's like the people were targeting her and Ron. Why vote for someone that no one's really talking about?

01:27:17

Maybe there was a convo about Jam Jam.

01:27:19

Unless there was extensive conversation about Jam Jam.

01:27:22

Maybe there was, and they cut it because it's uninteresting.

01:27:25

Yeah.
