Well, I've I talked about this a couple of months ago, and it finally came to fruition. My episode of Jay Shetty came out today. I saw.

Okay. So many people in my life texting me. I know that his podcast is really big. I didn't realize how many people in my own life tune into it who People who don't even really understand what I do for a living, they're like, Yeah, I know Jay Shetty. I'm like, You do? It came out this morning, and it's just one of those things I didn't realize. One time when I was, it was, I think, 2017, I went on Squack the CNBC show at the Stock Exchange because Snapchat went public and they were looking for a young hot influencer to talk about it. Enter. Turdy. When I got off, my phone was blowing up with people from all walks of my life being like, Oh, my God, I just saw you. I'm like, You guys watch Squack Alley? I was so confused. This is reminding me of that. Jackie, I'm afraid of who this episode is going to reach because it's such a big podcast. I knew that, but I didn't really know it. Just seeing all these people from high school text me like, Kill me. Seriously, kill me. Because I really was so... It's probably the most vulnerable I've ever been on a podcast, but also it's the only podcast I've really ever sat down and talked about, not pop culture, not comedy, just like, turdy.

I watched the first hour of it this morning. I just need to know what people are seeing. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. I remember when I was recording it. I had, I think, just announced that I was pregnant, so I was really feeling insecure about my body. Meanwhile, I look amazing comparatively. I wish I looked like that now. If you know me, my friend Rachel texted me, and she was like, Oh, my God, Jay Shetty. I'm like, Please I'm watching. If you know me, and Olivia texted me, too, she's like, I'm watching J. She had me loving it. Stop it. Please stop. Disconnect her WiFi. Shannon was like, What does the video come out? I was like, Shannon, done.

I was telling you, this is It's taking a while for me to recover from this sickness. I'm now hearing that what I've had was COVID because I was having dinner at Trouts last night, as one does.

Yeah, we all had dinner last night. Margot is staying at my house. She's only here for a night because we're all going to be together this weekend. We were having dinner at Olivia's, and I was saying how it's taking me a long time to recover from this. I just feel so knocked down, no longer actively sick, but- Weird. Yeah, foggy, everything. I'm like, it's when people would have COVID and you just still had the symptoms. And she was like, oh, well, it's COVID that's going around. I was like, But you said Kayla had the flu, and then Kayla got Harry and Charlie. And that's how it all went. She was like, no, I think it was COVID. I'm like, oh, so I had COVID.

Nobody told me I had COVID. By the way, it doesn't sound like you have COVID. It sounds like you now have long COVID.

It's going on eight days. It's long COVID.

And to be honest, I'm so ready for your long COVID era. I just think that's where you're going to shine.

I completely I agree. I didn't know that I had long COVID, let alone COVID. When I was labeling my sickness last week, it's important to label sometimes.

It is. It feels good to have a name.

But I mislabeled it. I was saying flu, flu.

Meanwhile, I shouldn't say flu. It was short COVID, which has now turned into long COVID.

Yeah, but I'm going to fight it. I'm going to get out there. I'm going to push through. I'm going to try and work my brain past the brain fog. I feel like doing the toast, when it comes to pregnancy brain, even postpartum brain, brain fog from sickness, I actually love doing the show because it forces me to exercise my brain and move past the fogginess.

The toast is brain camp.

It is. My brain would be mush after pregnancy and everything if I didn't- You weren't required. I wasn't required to use my words.

Also, I think reading has helped you get your brain back.

Yeah. No, honestly, everything that they say helps. The toast. The toast is huge. I actively have to use my It's raining every day, and it's good. I'm fighting past long COVID. It will not get me down long COVID strong.

Not only did I have a morning, I have an afternoon today. Why is the day? There are so many days. Wow. I've seriously been talking about this big thing that's happening to me. I've been talking about it for a couple.

Physical therapy, coxedinia.

My glucose test. Glucose test.

I was going to get there. That was seriously What's my next guess.

My glucose test is today. Not looking forward to it. I'm not going to lie. I have not even tried to... People say you can try to eat X, Y. I've done nothing. I've just been my normal self, which I think is best. I want the best, most accurate results. I'm thinking I'm not going to share my results on Instagram. You'll have to tune into The Toast tomorrow to find out. Oh, oh, oh. Yeah. And so I know I have to drink that juice. I know I have to fast for an hour before the test, which is definitely going to be really hard for me. So when the clock strikes, I need to have lunch right after the toast.

But would have also helped you in the lead up to the test is sourdough because it's sugarless bread. When I saw Dana- That would have been nice. When I saw Dana and she had GD, and I gave her a loaf of sourdough, and we had sourdough sandwiches and whatever, and she then did her glucose monitor after zero degree- Spike. We had pargy sandwiches, and it was so good for her.

Maybe this is my foray into sourdough. You're on, Trey. If medicine takes me that way.

Huge day. It's also... We have a really fun, exciting week. So tomorrow, I'm headed to Florida for a wedding, so I'm going to see my sister, which is just a bonus. And so Friday's episode, we're going to be together. We actually have booked a sick pargy studio, so get ready for new studio vibes. You know we get new personalities every time we enter a new studio in Florida.

Yeah, and we just get to walk into an office, throw our handbags down.

And that will be a fun environment. I'm really excited. And then we're going to spend the day together.

I really don't want to spend a I don't want to spend a lot of money at this current body shape. I don't think I'll be this shape, really, ever again, even if I'm pregnant. I'll look different. So I don't want to spend a lot of money. So I've really been struggling, and my last box of dresses arrived yesterday. And it didn't work out. I'm just going to this wedding without a dress, which is so crazy. I forgot to update you on because you've been really helpful in my dress journey. I had three more dresses.

I figured when I saw your Instagram story last night about how you tried to dresses, and they were bad, and you didn't send me any pictures. I figured it was bad.

Yeah. Actually, the last dress I tried on wasn't bad, but it was far too expensive. I couldn't, in good conscience, buy something. But so here's what I did.

I just want to say, that part I don't agree with, that you can't have an expensive or nice dress because you're at a certain size, and you would have spent this much on the same wedding at a different size.

No, that's the thing. I wouldn't even add a different size, like my regular size. I would never spend this amount of money on a dress. It's too much. Okay.

But you shouldn't spend less because you don't like how you look versus how much you would spend if you liked how you looked because one, you're fucking pregnant.

No, it's more so about spending a lot of money on a dress that I can wear a couple of times is great. But I don't know when I would be able to this dress again. When would I ever be invited to a wedding ever again at this exact size?

Yeah, but even at a different size, if you wore a dress to a wedding, you're not going to wear it again that soon. You're not going to wear it to the next wedding. It's a wedding dress, so it's a special occasion dress. Now you're making me feel like I shouldn't have returned the dress. You're allowed to have It's an expensive special occasion dress that makes you feel good when you're pregnant. I don't know where you made this law up.

Anyways, on the new episode of Call Her Daddy, Alex was asking how her and Jason learned that Taylor had come into the picture. She said, I'm assuming your family was getting told this in some capacity, Alex said, to which Kylie responded, We were not. I will say we knew before everyone else, but it was not like it did not hit the group chat. They said that they found out together, but we knew before they hard launched at a game together.

So they didn't find out with everyone, but they didn't find out from Travis.

How do you else find... I guess they mutual friends and stuff.

To be honest, I'm not really entirely interested in how these two found out. To me, that's not the most interesting part. I really, and I have no proof of this just based on vibes. I feel like I know Taylor well. I've studied her my whole life, and I'm learning so much about Kylie. She's new to the public sphere, and I just can't see these two really getting along in a way outside of being potential sister-in-law. They're both lovely and nice, But on a real personality level, I don't think these two would find each other in high school and be good friends.

I agree, and I don't think that that's necessary. It seems like... I also feel like in this interview, Kylie answered every question. She didn't give a ton of extra information. She wasn't glowing about Taylor, but it was reminding me of Donna Kelsey on GMA. It's fine.

Yeah. I also feel like with the Donna Kelsey vibe, how you said, sometimes it could seem like they hate Taylor, but mostly they're just afraid and don't want to say the wrong thing. I also think at some point it does get annoying to just constantly be asked. I always think that when I saw, Chrissy Abrams was on the cover of Cosmopolitan, and obviously a huge part of her life, and her fandom is the convergence of Taylor Swift. She opened for Taylor, so the questions are natural. But I feel like that happens a lot with Taylor, where she gets brought up in random spaces, and it's annoying. For Kylie, she's out here like a mama for her. She's a spokesperson for her community. She's an athlete. She's pregnant. She's a So it's in every interview, and of course, you have to ask about Taylor. But it also could be like, Okay, can I have a moment to myself?

Yeah. I think it was just a piece of the interview. I think it's what Kylie expects going into any interview, and I don't And if you don't ask any questions, that's also weird.

Yeah. Speaking of internet stuff, I, over the weekend, during the Super Bowl, I have thought this for quite some time, just being a chronically online big-time loser. But then I saw a lot of conversations on social media, specifically TikTok, being spoken about Alex Earle's relationship with Alex Cooper. And I had thought for a while that they fizzled. They were hot and fast for a couple of months. And then it fizzled, which is natural. Alex Earle is doing a million things. She's the face of a million brands. Well, it's not natural to fizzle when you work together. It's not like they were- Well, you legally can't. And I didn't know that their dad manages them. I mean, he's a very successful business person. They're very independently wealthy, and he owns a huge trucking company. And if you actually have ever been in a tri-state area and you're just on the highway, you'll see one of his It's called Earle's Trucking or something. It's huge.

Yes, but him managing them is new. He wasn't managing since the beginning, right?

No, I don't think so, because it was the first time I had heard it. And I feel like that's such an interesting fact, and I love when people keep things in the family. I feel like I would have heard that. So the first time, my introduction was when she released a podcast with him two months ago. And they were just talking about his POV on them and their careers and his business background. And he had said a couple of things that are now, I think at the time, didn't really make waves, but now appear to be making a little bit more sense. Just being like, Yeah, now that he's involved, we're going to start doing things a little bit differently. He's like, There were some things I saw at the beginning of your career that I wasn't entirely comfortable with. I think a lot of people had just immediately drawn her interview on Call Her Daddy. They thought he was referencing that because they do get very sexual. They were talking about anal.

Why are people drawing from that?

Is there a- He must have made it seem more clear than I'm making it in this moment. I'm just paraphrasing. He could be talking about something completely fucking different. We're all speculating here. But that's what the internet I've assumed, but maybe we're all just looking for clues now because of the Super Bowl thing. I've been watching this being like, Oh, these two definitely don't get along anymore, and she's going to leave the network when her contract is up. I don't know when that is, but I think the Super Bowl and the lack of them being together, even spotted once, made this a much more mainstream thing now where I'm seeing it all over my social media. Whereas before I was just thinking to myself, I'm like, Oh, I'm wondering what's going on, too.

Yeah, but there's definitely something going on, but she's still at the network.

Yes, well, contracts are contracts, but she's not supporting the network. That's the thing. I think a part of when you become a talent on that network is you go to events, you do products, you make content for social media, you guest on other unwell shows. It's a full-time job. Yeah, Clambake's Trip to the Cape. She was doing that at one point because I remember she went to South by Southwest when it was just her and Madal and Argie. Those were the first two talents. But radio silence ever since.

He has had a rough emotional few days, and to go and talk about your big man feelings about the game is very big of him. And I feel like they could have pushed a week, and he didn't. Mad respect.

And I wanted to give credit to Jason, because that's also a hard job for you to do, where you're involved a little bit, but you're supposed to be steering this ship while keeping the show entertaining. And he did make me chuckle a couple of times. He did a really good job as a podcaster in that moment, but also a brother and friend. Yeah.

Travis and Jason released a new episode of New Heights. Travis was talking about the motionality of the game, how they just couldn't get any momentum going. He had made a couple of bad decisions that he regrets, and he's obviously just feeling in his feelings about the game. They also said that before they started New Heights, they went months without talking to each other sometimes and how the podcast has really kept them close.

Yes, I saw that, too, which I loved. Quickly, just back to Travis's monolog about the Super Bowl. He did this thing that I also saw Patrick Mahomes doing in the press conference immediately after the game, where it was blaming yourself, being the reason he lost was all my fault. I wasn't a good enough leader. I was making mistakes on... And It's like, okay, well, that's just not true. You all were mad. We sound as a team collectively.

No, I know, but that's part of being a team. You want to protect- It's part of being a leader. Yeah, you want to protect your teammates. You just beat yourself up for the things that you could have done that you didn't do. I think it's going to be a little bit of time before he's moved on.

Do you feel like he is going to retire?

It's not so obvious.

I feel like with Jason, it was like, he didn't say it, but we just knew based on a multitude of things. I feel like it could be a little early for Travis, but if he did, it would be good, too.

I don't think he's going to retire, but I do think now this is the march to retirement. But I don't think you start dating Taylor two years in, and now you're unemployed, and you used to be busy every day, and now you're sitting on the couch recording your podcast.

It's giving Joe Alwyn. It's giving Joe Alwyn get a job.

I think for his relationship, he wants to still be that guy. I don't think he wants to go out this way. I think he wants to prove them all wrong at least one more time, and I think he's going to keep going. He's just going to work harder, and then he'll retire in two years or whatever. I don't think it's this time, but definitely for the first time in a serious way, it's in the air.

It's also hard because Travis is 35, and Patty Mahomes is 29. So that six-year age difference is where your career is. Those are the best years. So I can see him almost staying to keep up with Patty and be this dynamic duo that they are, Patrick and Travis, Travis and Patrick. But Patrick was born in 1995. That's really crazy. I am older than Patrick Holmes.

I know he would die, die to go play a game with them and get in one of their videos because Ben loves mini golf. I find it ringing in my ear.

Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father-in-law's home. Smh shaking my head.

No. I have to think about the driver. The driver still has a job to do. I imagine if you lose packages as a driver, you are docked in some way. What is the driver realistically supposed to do? To be honest, if I ordered a package and I had a house that burned down and it said delivered, I would go and get it. At least you know where it is. I just think in the grand scheme, Manny Moore has lost everything. Her in-laws have lost everything. She's been one of the most vocal people, a celebrity who really lost a lot. This isn't really worth her time and energy. That's just how I feel.

By the way, this is totally what happened. Is it a subscription? No. I thought it was a subscription. That's a good call. It's happened to me all the time, when you move and you forget to update your address. So they are in a rental or something, and they needed towels because they're whatever, and they sent the towels to the old bird down house. I know how it happened. And it's unfortunate for sure. Amazon has amazing customer service, and it's really not Amazon's fault.

In that moment, the driver had a package to deliver to an address, and he was probably just as confused as we are all watching this picture. But that might be... Someone might not have an address where they could ship things, but they have this address, and so you would go and pick it up. This is obviously a weird visual, and it's not how packages should get delivered.

But I don't think someone did something so terribly wrong. Of course not. But I do have logistical questions for the Amazon driver. When an entire block of homes is burned down, how do you know which is I was 39.

I think as a celebrity, when you use your platform to complain about customer service, you have to be really particular because it does look like out of touch for a celebrity to be like, Delta, you don't give me a refund. It's one of my least fucking favorite things. It's okay for regular folk to do. That's what social media is so great for, is getting access to customer service you might not get just waiting on the phone. When When celebrities do it, it is so out of touch. Let's really quickly talk about the Real House Ours in Beverly Hills. It really wasn't worth the hour I spent watching it this morning. Did you watch last week? No, I felt like I could skip it.

You could, but you missed the treat of Cathy's house. It was a treat.

I saw in the previously on, and it looked like seeing my girls, Boze, Erica, Cathy, and Dweib team, obsessed. Her house is gorgeous. I feel like I got the vibes. I could tell what you meant. It was just having hard conversations with good friends.

It really looked- It was like real girl talk. There was laughing, there was crying, there was hard truths. That's how friends really are. It was very Very pleasant to watch.

This episode was so boring, and I got really weird vibes from Sutton wanting to repair her relationship with her mother in the presence of her two friends, one of whom she's literally not friends with, Kyle. Yeah, Garcela is her ride or die. You can go through something like that while also being on camera. It felt so weird and so disingenuous. Her journey is her journey, and I don't feel like it's fair to judge anyone who goes through what she went through with her dad. That's so hard. But she did put it out there for us to comment on, So my only thought is I felt like, Yeah, did she have the most amazing mom in the world who was so loving? No. But it was tough to watch her villainize her mother while only remembering the good of her dad and memorializing her dad so positively. While she was telling us he wasn't an alcoholic, he had his fair share of issues, and she almost has no resentment towards her dad. Not that she should hate her dad who passed, but she had put all of that on her And then when my mom died, my dad died, we got fish sticks.

Give your mom a fucking break. It was actually really tough to watch. And then just talking about, My dad used to sit in this chair. And that's what you do when someone passes, of course. You only remember the good. And I just feel like that almost left her mom to be treated more unfairly by Sutton. And not that she should feel any type of negative way about her dad, because he obviously struggled. But to take any... I think a lot of people, when they lose a parent, you feel mad that they left you behind, or you feel abandoned. She put all of that on her mom, who ended up having to pick up the pieces. And was she perfect? No. She was a good mom, okay? She put a roof over their heads. I just felt like something was being really unfair.

Yeah, that's a fair assessment. It's nice that you watched it so closely to really get that.

I didn't even. Every time I picked up, it was like something bitching about something else. And I'm like, Oh, my God, give your mother a break.

Yeah. To me, it was just crazy that she can't really talk. This is always so weird when people do this, when it's like someone who they have a really hard time connecting with emotionally. They need to have a hard conversation 20 years in the making and we're going to do it with cameras in front of us. That is so weird to me. I actually felt like she tried to have this conversation with her mom show how she's so evolved and that her mom is so hard and backwards. I felt like her mom's responses to everything she said was tough but fair. Obviously, she comes- It really is indicative of somebody who grew up in a different time. Right, but not completely unreasonable. Definitely stoic and hard, but it wasn't totally what- Evil. It had expected either.

Yeah, it was just a tough watch. I don't know. Maybe it was because the way she lost her dad, which is so tragic, but it just felt like we were watching a little too much. When she went back to the house, I was like, This doesn't need to be filmed.

Yeah. And the two episodes- Before she even got out of the car, she's crying.

I felt so bad for her. I don't know. It didn't feel like it was the most productive conversation with her mom. It didn't feel like a productive trip. She's not even close with Kyle. I don't know why this whole ordeal had to be filmed.

Yeah, for two episodes, and who knows if it will end after next episode.

And I think that the guy who works for her is really annoying.

The way they treat him is also wrong. He's not great, but he deserves to be spoken to a human being. A human being. It's so crazy.

Yeah, the whole thing was so weird.

It was so weird. It's also like her and her mom aren't close yet. Like, Sutton has a house in her hometown, and her mom lives there. That's pretty close.
