00:00:03

Good morning, girlies. It's The Toast. It's Jackson Claude, and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, It's The Toast. I sound amazing.

00:00:24

I do sound amazing.

00:00:28

If you're not swirly, Rilling your finger in the air when you hear, We'll start your day off swirly. I don't know if you're- You're not living.

00:00:36

Life's your full list.

00:00:38

1,000 %. Welcome back to The Toast. Hey, Jack. How are you doing?

00:00:41

Hey, Claire. I'm good. Happy to be back the toast with you. We've got a lot to do today. I'm very excited for a lot of things to talk about. Watch Summerhouse last night.

00:00:51

Me, too.

00:00:52

Endeevered to watch a little more Lib. It didn't happen, really. Okay, it happens. It didn't happen in a meaningful way. Devoid of meaning.

00:01:02

I, too, have a lot of things I need to cover. I actually wrote them down in a little note on my phone. Okay? One, Summerhouse. Obviously, we both watched. Not us being the main characters. That's one. Two, I wanted to update everyone. Jackie and I have made the executive decision to upload our theme song to Spotify.

00:01:19

I pushed and pushed because I need it on repeat.

00:01:25

It has on its way. Two to five business days, they say. So just We'll let you guys know. Your kids can listen to it in the car. I do think that this is the beginning of a beautiful musical journey for us because now that we have... We have our own official artist page. I did the whole thing. Once we have our own page on Spotify, what's stopping us from releasing original music, covers, things of that nature?

00:01:44

We have an artist page. We have a producer. We have a songwriter, Becca.

00:01:48

We have a distribution channel. What are we doing?

00:01:52

Yeah. Also, we have original songs. We've been working on our songwriting for years.

00:01:58

I keep on our way with the I'm going to dance with your heart.

00:02:02

Yeah, we'll have to go back to that episode to hear this original song that we wrote.

00:02:06

So that was the first thing. The second thing was, I don't know if you know what today is. Do you know?

00:02:11

Thursday, February 27th. Did we say something like a year ago remind us.

00:02:16

No, no, no.

00:02:18

The day before February 28th.

00:02:21

No.

00:02:22

What is it?

00:02:24

It's National Toast Day.

00:02:25

Oh, my gosh.

00:02:27

Which also coincides, quite poetically, with National Chili Day.

00:02:36

We're living in a simulation.

00:02:38

Now, I think that national days are the lowest form of human communication.

00:02:44

They're the lowest form of content.

00:02:46

Yeah. When I was a social media intern, my job was literally making graphics for National Margarita Day.

00:02:53

No, when you work in social media, National Days are your- Are your bread and butter. Saving There's nothing better than a National Margarita Day.

00:03:03

And the websites that... What's the word I'm looking for? Aggregate all the days so you could just pull up, be like, All right, what should I do for work today? Oh, it's National Lemon's Day. It's National Muffins Day. But it is National Toast Day. And if we're not going to acknowledge that, who will?

00:03:21

That's so true. And if we're not going to acknowledge a National Chilly Day, literally, who would? I don't know.

00:03:29

So I did want to acknowledge the space that we are in and honor the national calendar in that way.

00:03:34

By the way, speaking of National Margarita Day, did you see that Lifetime is doing a sponsored movie with Chilli's? It's called It All Happens on National Margarita Day.

00:03:48

Is it a spoof or it's a real movie?

00:03:50

No, it's a real movie about two people who connect at Chili's on National Margarita Day. Unless what I saw was a parody, but there were scenes filmed.

00:03:57

I feel like it's a way to make news, but They probably did film a bunch of stuff, but I don't think there's a feature film, like an hour and a half long movie that was made.

00:04:06

Claudia, watch I'll be home for National Margarita Day on Lifetime, presented by Chili's. Celebrating National Margarita Day at the Local Chilleys is the highlight of the year. But when a big city developer, threatened a Town. Hold on. I'm agreeing to their terms, threatened a town holiday tradition, exes Liz, Maria Menunos, and Sam, Tay Diggs, must team up to stop him.

00:04:30

Star Studded. Again, are we sure this isn't a really elaborate marketing campaign?

00:04:35

Who knows how long the movie actually is? 15 minutes. Okay, it's a short film.

00:04:40

Oh, okay. It's a short film.

00:04:42

But that's a lot.

00:04:44

I like that.

00:04:45

I don't hate it.

00:04:47

I would like it.

00:04:48

Maybe if it's good enough, it would get the extended version. Perhaps. I'll be home for National Margarita Day.

00:04:56

Unfortunately, this year, I will be home for National Margarita Day. I will not be able to celebrate.

00:04:59

When is National Margarita... Is National Margarine, is it not Cinco de Mayo?

00:05:04

It's an amazing question. I don't know why it would... Speaking of you being amazing, we have to issue a correction from yesterday's episode. Karen Huger was on her fourth DUI. What No, not her second.

00:05:16

Even worse.

00:05:17

Yeah, so that really makes sense why. I believe she was booked yesterday. She's literally in prison.

00:05:22

Yeah. No, she can't be stopped from drinking and driving. So maybe some time in the slammer would put things into perspective for her.

00:05:30

And then when she leaves and she's fresh out the slammer, I'm coming back home to Ray. Do you think Ray is going to stick it out? It's hard to have a partner in prison.

00:05:41

He's going to stick it out. She has rode with him through some tough times for him as well.

00:05:46

That's very true. That's very true. I forgot about those dark years where they had to move out of the Potomac Zip code.

00:05:50

And she was there for him. So if he leaves, it's seriously despicable. And it's like he didn't leave for the first three DUIs. So you'd always have to.

00:05:58

Now you've developed a moral compass. No.

00:06:00

No, I don't think so. And seriously, Ray, you should drive her.

00:06:04

Well, that's the other thing. I hate to blame Ray because it was Karen's fault. But a woman should never be driving herself at night. Yeah.

00:06:12

And he should know she likes to drink and drive. Maybe I'll drop her off and pick her up.

00:06:18

He's supposed to be there as a Guardian angel. He's an older gentleman, so he knows better, he's wiser. He didn't do his part. I definitely blame Ray. That's the toxic Karen Huger stand in me.

00:06:28

And think about what she might have been driving away from. Maybe it was Ray.

00:06:34

The way we've totally flipped on DUI, it's like they're the most despigable thing, and now we're like, Well, what were they running from?

00:06:40

Right. Well, just you because you take a really strong stance. Not that I'm pro.

00:06:46

By the way, not that I would ever because I barely drive. But if I ever got a DUI, I don't know how I could show my face on this podcast.

00:06:54

You could never show your face again.

00:06:56

And I have no plans to drink and drive. But that's also one thing that will guarantee you I will never because I couldn't face the public backlash.

00:07:02

No, you would lose all credibility.

00:07:05

Yeah. You guys would stop listening to this podcast, and I actually would agree with you.

00:07:09

Yeah.

00:07:11

All right, so that's good. One thing you can count on is I'm not going to drink and drive, mostly because I really don't drive much. If I am in a car, Ben's driving.

00:07:19

And you live in a city. It's not so hard. It would be harder for me to- It would be harder for me to- You might not be talking such a big game, everyone get an Uber.

00:07:27

No, no. I've been in places where you're drinking and it's so hard to get home. Not that I understand, but I see how somebody could make such a bad decision because it's not so easy. In New York, it actually would be harder for me to drink and drive myself home than it would be drink and take a taxi, drink and take an Uber, drink and literally, have a Gipsy cab. There's a million ways.

00:07:46

She's softening.

00:07:47

I'm not at all.

00:07:48

You just said I could see how it could happen.

00:07:53

That's not what I said.

00:07:54

Karen's changed you.

00:07:56

That's not what I said.

00:07:57

She broke the matrix, really.

00:07:59

She did. She's one of the few people who... She put me in a tough spot. Yeah.

00:08:03

I'm sorry for you.

00:08:06

Yeah. I'm sorry for Karen. She's literally in jail.

00:08:07

I'm sorry for the divider that she hit. I'm sorry for the- The person who had to clean it up and build a new one and install it.

00:08:14

No. The reckless abandon which she acted with. I'm sorry for a lot.

00:08:18

Yeah. Well, we have a lot of news today. A lot of stories broke yesterday.

00:08:25

Oh my God, yes. We're going to talk about Michelle Trachtenberg, which is so sad. But there's also another developing celebrity death news. I don't know if it's a story, but I did want to- Jean Hackman.

00:08:35

Is it? Yeah, of course. I feel like vomiting. That man is so integral.

00:08:39

I think a lot of people maybe don't know who Jean Hackman is. I don't know if I would know. He's a 95-year-old actor, so he's a little bit before our time. But if you guys know, Jackie and I, you know how much Jean Hackman means to us because we are obsessed with quoting his line from our favorite movie, starring Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jean Hackman, called Heartbreakers. Right before he has a heart attack, he says, I feel It's like vomiting. And we say it all the time.

00:09:03

We say it all the time. We love that movie. And if you've been around for a while and you do your homework, it was definitely a toast movie of the week during COVID. So hopefully you've watched it and that you also have a warm spot in your heart for Jean Hackman and are affected by the news today.

00:09:16

Yeah. So just wanted to make a cultural reference, a toasty reference.

00:09:21

Yeah. Very sad news today. I felt like vomiting when I saw that.

00:09:25

One thousand %.

00:09:26

It's a bit of a disturbing story. We'll get into the details in the Fast Five, but this is not the Fast Five.

00:09:30

No, this is not. This is the pre-Fast 5 banter where it really goes down.

00:09:33

Yeah. Also, yesterday, Brutas got a haircut. How is Brutas doing? My baby boy never misses an appointment. He's good, but his groom said he seems a little stressed.

00:09:43

Oh, okay. Well, did Brutas get my... I sent out PR boxes. Did you get?

00:09:47

I did. Bruno got your PR package.

00:09:49

Okay, because I am a brand ambassador for a pet wellness brand called Waguel, and I actually feel like Bruno is my target demo. He has a very high stress life.

00:09:56

He does.

00:09:57

I think between the skincare products, the The compliments, the treats that are made with really premium ingredients. I think if Bruno could post about my PR box, I would appreciate that.

00:10:07

Oh, you think that would move the needle?

00:10:09

Just a little. Bruno is highly influential.

00:10:13

He is highly influential because He's the type... He's very brand loyal. He doesn't use a lot of different products, and when he hones in on what he likes, he will use it forever.

00:10:22

That's so Bruno.

00:10:23

Like the Sunbeam heating pad.

00:10:25

High bar, yeah.

00:10:26

Okay. Well, I'll have to get him on his Waguel because he was very I'm stressed, very tight in the neck.

00:10:31

Yeah, you can let him know. I know that the box was delivered and signed for, and he didn't post about it. He was still sitting by the door. And he didn't post about it.

00:10:40

No, that's because you want to know why he got right into everything before he could take an esthetic photo.

00:10:45

Sure.

00:10:45

That's classic.

00:10:48

It's 50 degrees in New York. So I was going to say, even though it's National Chili Day, I actually can't really make a chili.

00:10:53

It's not a chili day for you.

00:10:55

It's not.

00:10:56

I made homemade tomato sauce last night and hamburger meatfalls with Italian reasoning, which is just meatfalls. But if you've been following along, it's really funny. It's just a funny bit.

00:11:05

Why have you decided to torture yourself in making your own sauce when rayos exists?

00:11:10

I thought I told you this. When my friend Sam and Ben were here.

00:11:13

I know. It was really good. Maybe for a special occasion.

00:11:16

So much so that rayos doesn't taste the same. That's why every time I now make tomatoes, I was like, I'm not doing it happily. I'm cursing them forever making me homemade tomato sauce because I can't go back.

00:11:28

I meant to call you. I don't know how long ago it was, but you gave me, just in case for a rainy day, if anything ever were to happen, a little bit of sourdough starter. I did. I thought when I had gestational diabetes, that that would be the time where I- You would turn to your starter. Because you said that it's literally the only thing you can eat when you- No, it's the only way you could have a piece of bread that has zero sugar. I obviously don't have gestational diabetes. Thank God, thank God, thank God. But I did just take a look at the sourdough starter this morning, and it's black.

00:11:57

Yes, if you leave discarding the fridge for a while, it can get black on top. You could just take that off and still move on forward with it. But I know you probably won't do that.

00:12:07

But are you feeling- No, by the way, can I?

00:12:09

You can. And then start feeding it. Are you going to start feeding it?

00:12:12

No. So should I just leave it black?

00:12:15

Just leave it then.

00:12:16

Yeah. Okay.

00:12:17

And then I'll bring you a little more next time I see you, just in case. And then you could swap out.

00:12:21

I almost threw it out. It looked like mold.

00:12:22

Yeah, that's what it is, but it's not bad yet. I don't know that I would go with black, but I'll bring you fresh, Kumza.

00:12:30

Okay.

00:12:31

Are you feeling sourdough curious?

00:12:33

No, not at all. I was cleaning out my fridge curious, and I saw this black liquid.

00:12:38

If you're not going to use it- No, it makes me think of you.

00:12:41

It's in one of the little containers that- Of baby food jars. Of baby food And it's just like, Oh, my family's in my fridge. Hey, guys. I look, wave to you every time I open the door.

00:12:49

But just know I could bring you the same thing again in a month. I think Ben should get into sourdough. Actually, not for your sake, you will be floured all over the kitchen, but for his life.

00:13:00

No, Ben and powders, because he takes his AG1 every morning, I find little green mountains of powder all over my house. I can't take it, so no. And two, not only the powder, but the sheer amount of utensils required to get a loaf in the oven. I just know that- No, he's not set out for it. What's that bread- The dough whisk. The dough whisk. That would become the bane of my existence. The scale, the basket. I'm not interested in all the accessories.

00:13:26

No, you need a lot of things. You need to keep them clean. They're not dishwasher We're safe.

00:13:30

No. Yeah.

00:13:31

Thank you. No, never mind.

00:13:33

Thank you for understanding.

00:13:34

You'll be good to stick with Wild Green.

00:13:36

1,000%. I can't go there right now.

00:13:39

Yeah. I saw Wild Green had something. Wild Green, not that this is an ad, though they are a sponsor, has frozen fresh pasta, which I don't want to start making my own pasta. It's just not something I can take on, but I want fresh your pasta.

00:13:53

Hop to it.

00:13:54

Hence, Wild Green.

00:13:56

Yeah. I know Homemade Wears are so much better for you, and they taste so much better. I'm so tired.

00:14:05

Yeah. The more you do it, the easier it gets. But I do understand. That's why tonight just might be a factor meal. Right. We're getting all our brand mentions in.

00:14:16

It's so true. And none of it is sponsored.

00:14:19

None of them are sponsors today.

00:14:21

But when you live as authentically as we do, and you integrate all your sponsors into your everyday life, it's such a seamless, synergized community.

00:14:29

It is. So maybe we should get into the actual sponsors for today's episode. If we must, yes. And the fast five stories that you guys do need to know.

00:14:39

And the fast five stories you need to know. You do, do, do, do, do. By the way, maybe because that was Samantha's song. I actually made a TikTok about it this morning, and people were coming at me in the comments being like, This was my favorite. And I agree. I actually think in terms of what song I liked the most, Samantha's was, but in terms of what I thought would be the best theme song, Beca's was. I love Samantha's song.

00:15:02

I love Samantha's song. It was my number one until Beca's song really was growing on me. And Beca's song was exactly what we needed, just four lines at the top of the show. Samantha's song had a chorus. It's a song. I was saying, can we put Samantha's song at the end of the episode, but then it's just too many songs.

00:15:19

No, I got a bunch of suggestions, especially now that we're going to have a Spotify profile. We should just record it and release it as a song, buy it from her. Agreed. And we can use it. Are you ready for it? Because that's the best part of the song? The fast five stories you need to know. You do, do, do, do, do. Brought to you by, right?

00:15:37

Yeah. We'll have to talk to Samantha.

00:15:39

We'll chat offline with Sam.

00:15:41

Yeah.

00:15:43

The fast five stories you need to know. It's a garage Margie Mining with Jackie O and Turdaloo. It was really good. It was a hard choice.

00:15:51

It was. It really, really was.

00:15:53

My friend called me this morning and he was like, I can't stop singing the song. I said to him, and tell me if you feel this way, but you live in Florida and I in New York, but it does feel like everybody in New York is singing that song. I'm telling you, everywhere I go, they're singing it.

00:16:06

It's always in my head. It's always in my house. It's always in my heart. It's always in my heart. It's true. Then it's always in my feed because everyone's enjoying it.

00:16:14

Correct. It's a Garchie Parchie morning. It's a Garchie Parchie morning.

00:16:19

With Jackie O and Turnaloo.

00:16:22

Girly swirly gather around every day with us. It's a girls night. Oh, and you know what I was thinking about this morning?

00:16:29

What?

00:16:30

The next Gizno live podcast that we do, where we have our own song. And I think the next Gizno, we've decided that we're going to do is in December. So we have a whole ass year for people to listen to the podcast, learn the song, love the song. When we walk out to that song, because you know that's going to be our new walkout song, Sorry, Invincible by Kelly Clarkson, You've gotten the boot. That is a moment I cannot wait for.

00:16:50

A moment like this?

00:16:51

Correct.

00:16:52

Yeah, that's very exciting. I just think we need more music. Now that we've cracked, we've bused into the music industry.

00:17:00

No, seriously, the hardest part is getting a Spotify profile.

00:17:04

No, I really think like Toast tunes, the original songs, everything. It's time to really dig in to our musical self.

00:17:13

Side.

00:17:14

We haven't been musical enough up until this point.

00:17:17

We have not.

00:17:18

So now, without further, here are the stories.

00:17:24

Okay. And the stories are brought to you by State Farm. Thank you, State State Farm for sponsoring today's episode of The Toast. Today's episode is also brought to you by Better Help. We often hear about the red flags that we should avoid, but what if we focused more on looking for green flags in friends and in partners? I'm not sure. I'm thinking of something funny. I have to tell you. I have to remind it. I'm not sure what they look like, but sorry. If you're not sure what they look like, therapy can help you identify green flags. Actively practice them in your relationships and then embody the green flag energy yourself. So whether you're dating, you're married, you're building a friendship, or you're just working on yourself, it's time to form relationships that love you back. And Betterhelp is a fabulous resource. Check it out at betterhelp. Com/t-o-a-s-t. Now, the thing I wanted to tell you was last night, we're still watching Desperate House. We got to the funniest episode. Tom and Lynette are doing couples counseling, and the therapist says that after hours, she's like, Oh, yeah, I do community theater. They're like, Oh, we'd love to come. Support, and they go see her in some community production, and she's so bad.

00:20:34

That they can't take her advice seriously.

00:20:36

It was actually one of the funniest concepts. Me and Ben were cracking up so hard. It was so funny.

00:20:43

That is really funny. I remember that episode. Yeah, it's hysterical. We're going to get into the stories, but something that's developing and will probably come out after we wrap today, classic, is that the Jeffrey Epstein list are set to be released today. Some names and flight logs. The new attorney general, Pam Bondi, said Thursday, they're dropping names.

00:21:00

She didn't say before 10: 30 AM Eastern Time, though, which was disappointing. No, she didn't, which is rude. Because we could have been first, and now we're going to be last.

00:21:07

However, even if they came out at this point during the show, I need a minute to see what I'm reading. To read, yeah. Sometimes for other people to break it down.

00:21:16

Sometimes when news breaks on the toast and it's really dense.

00:21:20

Yeah, especially if it's legal.

00:21:22

That's how it felt about Karen Huger yesterday. I wish I had time to process before I had to give my opinion on my queen.

00:21:27

Would you have wanted me to shelf it?

00:21:29

No, No. You know also my favorite thing is getting live breaking news. Because I'm over here, I'm unplugged.

00:21:34

Okay, so maybe- I got my ads. If the list breaks, I'll tell you that the list breaks, and then we'll talk about it in-depth tomorrow. Sounds good? Okay.

00:21:41

Yeah. But I feel like if the list breaks immediately, the first, the biggest three or five people, they'll do the work for us, the internet.

00:21:49

Yeah. Have you been seeing the odds makers?

00:21:52

You're kidding. You can bet on who's going to be on the flight logs.

00:21:54

Who's going to be the top. Now, do you think somebody being on a flight It made news because now the number one person that people are suspecting would be on it is Jay-Z.

00:22:07

Oh, for sure. Yeah, but he has his own plane.

00:22:09

I know he's definitely got stuff going on, but I never fully associated him with Epstein.

00:22:14

With I've seen, specifically, no, me neither. But do you think that somebody being on a flight log is an automatic admission of pernicious, I don't know if that's the right word, peculiar pedophilic behavior?

00:22:26

No. I think one flight maybe Maybe, too, it depends how far apart they are. I think maybe you got to... People hit your ride all the time. Which people love to pick up other rich people on their planes. Jeffrey made friends. There will be people who are back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Like, take me to the island. Bill Clinton Yeah, and then there will probably be people that it's a little suspicious, but not as much. I think there'll be degrees. But just because you're on it once, it's really unfortunate.

00:22:55

I agree. But that's the same way I feel about all those Getty Images of Galaine Maxwell with different celebrities. When you're a celebrity and you're around really wealthy people, you go on each other's planes, you take pictures at events. It's not an admission of like, Oh, I knew you were a madam, and you were hiring hookers for me.

00:23:10

But the flight log will also say where they went. So if they just got a ride home from the Super Bowl, that's different. Good call.

00:23:16

If you're going to and fro from... What do they call the island? Petiphyal Island. What's the colloquially term for it?

00:23:26

Epstein Island.

00:23:27

Oh, yeah. If you're going to and fro, Epstein an island, and you're not even coming back with so much as a tan, I'm suspicious.

00:23:33

Yeah. That's why you need to... But there will be... Hopefully, it goes in order of frequency.

00:23:40

Do you know? Yeah. Hopefully, whoever's doing the stats will release... Here are the I have famous people, but here are also the people who went the most times, the most frequent riders.

00:23:49

Don't put in alphabetical order. I want frequency.

00:23:53

Oh, fuck the alphabet here.

00:23:54

Excel, sort by, amount.

00:23:57

If you were to take a look at my outfit, you would assume that I'm wearing a set, right? Yeah. Isn't it crazy that I'm not? I just happen to have this shirt and these pants that look... They're the same material. They're the same color. Are they both Spanx? No. My pants are from Revolve, and my top is from Avaria.

00:24:13

Interesting.

00:24:14

I know. I feel like I'm hacking life.

00:24:15

It looks like the Spanx Air.

00:24:17

Right. Airessenials. I feel like I'm walking around, everybody's like, Oh, cute set. I'm like, You don't even know.

00:24:22

It's not a set.

00:24:24

You don't even know the ingenuity that went into picking out this look.

00:24:27

Wait, speaking of looks, I dropped a Patreon blog yesterday. Oh my God, the worst Patreon vlog. No, but I was having fun. I think people really enjoyed it, and it was like- No, I'm talking about...

00:24:38

Sorry. The audience loves it, and that's why we do it. To be the creator of the vlog is one of the worst experiences. It wasn't a try on vlog. Jackie was sharing all the new clothes she got for spring.

00:24:48

And all the new stuff I'm liking and my new style and just taking you guys on a style journey. The only thing that was treacherous about it was cleaning up my closet after because I pulled out everything I bought in the last week. Putting it back on hangers. Tried them all on, threw I'm on the floor to try on the next one, next one. So that was the hardest part. But it's a really fun fashion vlog if you are into that thing, pigtreon. Com/toast.

00:25:09

Okay, Fashion Girl.

00:25:10

Okay, so now should we get into the stories?

00:25:13

I guess. It's really sad. I know we have to talk about Michelle Trachtenberg, but I actually was somebody who really was impacted by her work. I know a lot of our listeners were. I really loved her, and I feel really sad. So I'm definitely procrastinated, but yes.

00:25:27

I agreed. I loved her when I seeing her and then seeing everything, all of these tributes to her just reminds me so much of how fantastic she was. Also, the person she was, we didn't know her or anything, but the things that people are writing about her, just so above and beyond in terms of how a Hattrick and full of light she was and personality. And so this is just really sad. But here are the details because Michelle Trachtenberg, the Gossip Girl, Harriet the Spy, Buffy the Vampire.

00:25:57

Well, that's the other thing. Now everybody's sharing their favorite things. When I think of Michelle Trachtenberg, I know she was in a lot of things. But now that I'm looking at her career as a whole, she literally raised us from Harriet the Spy up until Gossip Girl. She was in EuroTrip. Ice Princess is my favorite fucking movie. She really did it all.

00:26:14

Yes. She was found dead in New York City on Wednesday at 39 years old. A source told people that in the year prior, she was, quote, really down emotionally. She had also been dealing with health issues. She told friends she was struggling, the source says. She was really, really sick and open with those in circle about how much she was struggling. Physically, they claimed that she looked pale, gone, and very thin. Yes, in the most recent photos of her, both on her Instagram and also professional photos, she does look very thin and very pale. Around 8: 00 AM on February 26, police responded to a 911 call at one Columbus place in New York City. The NYPD confirmed to people upon arrival, they discovered a 39-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive. They responded to location and pronounced the victim to cease. Criminality is not suspected. Also, she had recently undergone a liver transplant.

00:27:02

Right. I think that if you looked at her social media in recent years, you could tell that she physically looked different, whether she was struggling with illness or something wasn't clear. I didn't know until yesterday that she had recently undergone a transplant for a new liver. So it's just... It's so sad because she was so young and really so full of talent. I think she really left her mark on a generation of young women that I would include myself in. I just rewatched Gossip Girl, so she's very present. I don't know, I just... Sometimes when a celebrity dies, it really hits you. This is just terrible.

00:27:43

Especially with social It's shocking because I guess I personally hadn't kept up with her in the last few years. I didn't even really know she was so unwell.

00:27:51

Some people- Oh, I did.

00:27:53

When they pass due to sickness or drug use or whatever, you see the signs leading up.

00:27:59

They're publicly deteriorating.

00:28:02

Yeah, or they're up, and then they're down, and they're up, and then down. For me, she's just been so quiet for the last few years that this came out of nowhere for me.

00:28:11

Yeah, agreed. I don't think about her a lot. When I saw her name in the headlines, I'm like, Oh, what I got to. It certainly wasn't expected to see deceased.

00:28:17

Yeah.

00:28:18

So sad. Blake Lively posted a tribute. Jenny Momsen.

00:28:22

I think Kim Cutrell. Like, everyone- Jenny Momsen. What's her name?

00:28:26

Taylor Momsen. Taylor Momsen. Jenny Humphrey.

00:28:28

Jenny Humphrey. Everybody Everyone that she's ever worked with. I'm sure anytime someone passes, people are going to say something nice, but just something about the way people were talking about her. She just seemed like a really incredible person.

00:28:39

A fun fact about Michelle Trachtenberg is she dated my absolute celebrity crush when I was in high school. I don't know if I really knew that she was a New Yorker. I associated her with New York because of Gossip Girl, but the fact that she still lives in New York, so she was obviously a gal about town at the time. When I was in high school, there was a basketball player on the next called Danilo Gallanari. He was Italian. I don't think he spoke a lick of English. He was so fucking hot.

00:29:05

No, we're obsessed.

00:29:07

He no longer plays, but he had a couple of years in New York where he was pretty good. He was just like a...

00:29:12

He was a guy about town. He was just handsome. I don't even remember if he was good.

00:29:14

So hot. No, he was good. He was good. He wasn't amazing. And they dated. And she was the only celebrity or woman I ever saw him date. And then I ran into him at the Fajina years ago, and I asked him to take a picture, and I was actually being a freak. The way I was obsessed with this man. She dated him. I believe there's one photo of them together. I loved that for her. Slay, it was such a New York moment. She was a queen for that. She was a princess, an ice princess. I really, I wish her family well. She was a Jewish queen.

00:29:45

I didn't know or didn't remember that she's Jewish.

00:29:49

I mean, Trachtenberg.

00:29:51

We went to camp with her. Now that I think about it, of course. But when I think of Jewish celebrities and actresses, I never thought of her.

00:30:00

All right. I need to find that picture of her and Danilo Gallanari just to feel something again. I was so jealous.

00:30:03

I was so jealous at the time, but it also, because I'm crazy, gave me hope because she was a brunette Jew.

00:30:11

That's obviously your type. He likes a brunette Jew. That's obviously your type. Now, I can't even find one photo of them together. Maybe they were just spotted together.

00:30:20

It doesn't matter. That counts.

00:30:21

Bleacher Report. Gossip Girl star, Michelle Trachtenberg dating Nix Danilo Gallanari, according to New York Post report. She was 26, and he was 22. A younger man. I guess they were never even spotted together. That's really crazy.

00:30:38

So it's just your imagination.

00:30:40

Yeah, I guess I AI generated a photo in my head because there was one specific one in mind, but I guess not.

00:30:46

It's your memory playing tricks on you.

00:30:49

Once again.

00:30:51

And then our next story, which is also sad news, is that legendary actor Jean Hackman and his wife, Betsey Arakawa, and their dog found dead in New to go home.

00:31:01

Was the dog dead? I wasn't getting clear.

00:31:05

No one's spelling it out completely because they say Jean and his wife and dog found- And the dog were found. Or Jean and his wife found dead with dog.

00:31:12

I don't know. Right. And so was the dog there, or was the dog also dead?

00:31:16

I don't know exactly. I'm feeling like the dog was dead. And also, how long were they dead for?

00:31:21

I think a lot of people, because the police say there was no foul play- Suspected. Suspected, which is so crazy when two people are found dead. I think a lot of people are just jumping to the conclusion that they died of carbon monoxide poisoning, which happens a lot, if you're in the same house, which I do think would also take out a dog. Yes.

00:31:37

Okay. That is a- Because it is suspicious by nature.

00:31:42

You're both dead. He's 95. She's in her 60s. She's 63.

00:31:45

If it's not foul play, but you're both found dead, I actually think people jumping to that conclusion is a pretty safe assumption.

00:31:53

It's very common. It's more common than you would think.

00:31:56

That's really crazy if that's what happened.

00:31:57

That's actually a great reminder to you and everyone, check on your carbon monoxide alarm things. Yeah.

00:32:05

A good one should let you know when they're not functioning.

00:32:08

Just check on them.

00:32:10

Okay. Well, they were found dead in their New Mexico home. Santa Fe County police discovered the bodies of the two-time Oscar winner, the classical pianist, and one of their dogs, while performing a welfare check. They did not provide a cause of death or say when they may have died. His daughter suspects carbon monoxide poisoning as well. Oh.

00:32:32

Wow. I feel like vomiting. That's crazy. I'm sure his breadth of work goes far beyond that one line in Heartbreakers, but he was '95, so I didn't see a lot of his work.

00:32:41

Okay, so he's best known for his role in the French Connection, 1971. Then he also started Bonnie and Clyde, heard of it. Young Frankenside, heard of it. Night Moves, Bite the Bullet, Superman, Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven, which earned him his second Academy Award, and the Royal Tenanbaum, a Classic.

00:33:00

I can't believe they didn't put Heartbreaker in there. I guess that really proves how- Oh, they're disgusting.

00:33:05

Sorry. How did they not put that in there?

00:33:09

Well, I don't know. It's disgraceful and shows a real lack of taste.

00:33:13

It also must... His other movies must be so amazing that they outrank Heartbreakers. Think about that.

00:33:18

That's what I was saying. He's so accomplished that Heartbreakers doesn't even crack the top 10. Did he make the cut? Yeah. That movie is so good.

00:33:25

It is. Watch Heartbreakers in honor of Jean Hackman today.

00:33:28

Yes. Support. It It's just a fabulous film.

00:33:31

Yeah. Let me see if he's in anything else that we like, because I do feel like we know him from other stuff.

00:33:37

He has a very familiar face, but when I saw his face, I automatically knew. I'm like, That's my voice.

00:33:41

I feel like vomiting. And I do feel I'm vomiting.

00:33:44

I do. I feel sad. Lots of death today. Those are the worst stories to cover.

00:33:51

Yeah, they are. Now we can move on to something a little more extraterrestrial. Liner and brighter? Extraterrestrial. That's true. Katie Perry, Gail King, and Lauren Sanchez will be flying into space on Jeff Bezos's Blue Arch in Next Mission.

00:34:07

Wait, I didn't know any of this. I didn't know where the sentence was going because you said extraterrestrial, and then you said Katie Perry.

00:34:13

So I'm like, Oh- Oh, her song, she's remixing.

00:34:15

Yeah, I'm like, Oh, that's funny, Jackie. Good job. And then I'm like, Wait, Gail, Lauren, I did not know where the sentence was going from the moment you started.

00:34:23

I love that, keeping you on your feet.

00:34:25

Yes. I love when you read a story that I... Usually, I know what we're going to talk about, or I've seen on social media. I haven't even heard this story, and I need to know how the three of these women got connected.

00:34:36

So Blue Rogen, which is Jeff Bezos' aerospace company, is sending an all-women crew into space on its next flight, including singer Katie Perry, Gail King, and Lauren Sanchez, his fiancé. The company on Thursday announced a six people flying on the NS-31 mission sent to launch in the spring of 2025. Okay, so months away. I love the shortly time. Thanks, Jeff. The crew also includes Bahamian American aerospace engineer Asia Bow, civil rights States activist, Amanda Wen, and film producer, Kari Ann Flynn.

00:35:04

I just want to say, if all these billionaires, it's the space race, they're all getting up there doing their thing, and they're all like, I'm taking the first cancer patient. I'm taking the first dog. And so I could see somebody say, I'm taking the first podcaster and sending me an invitation, right? The way I would never go on Blue Origin, it just gives the janky vibes, spirit Airlines energy. I don't know. It's low-key a crazy thing to I would soon go on Virgin. I would obviously go on SpaceX. They're obviously best in the biz. Then I think I would go Richard Branson. He would be my last Jeff Bezos. I don't know why his airline, he did it for the wrong reasons. He wants to keep up with Elon. He wants to be a billionaire, be buff, and like, yeah, I'm going to space, too. He just does it for really, I think, shallow, vapid reasons. And I think that it gives submersible energy.

00:35:55

I understand. I see why you think I don't not think that. However, we have to remember that Jeff Bezos is a nerd, and this is what nerds get off on. The fact that he has all this money in the world, what does he want to do? He wants to go to space because he's a nerd. Also because he's so competitive.

00:36:14

I think he's a nerd who's really interested in a lot of nerdy things, not including space, until he saw how much attention the other billionaires were getting. And he's now in this era of his life where he's doing things for attention. He doesn't go to Amazon every day and innovate. He gets on his boat. He He wants to be a celebrity. He's hanging out with celebs. He's buffing up at the gym. He's thirsty. And so I think that this was a really insincere project that he took on, not for the love of space travel. You could see when the other billionaires talk about space, there's this curiosity there. He's doing it for really shallow...

00:36:48

He wants attention. For him also, no, this is a hobby. He sends people up to space for sport and then also for his ego. But we're just, Hey, you want to go to space today? Because we can. Also, I feel like these things are a little misleading because when I hear this, I'm like, oh, Katie Perry's going to the moon. Right.

00:37:04

And she's putting on a space suit and orbiting throughout.

00:37:06

They are literally taking a rocket. They're leaving the orbit and they're coming right back down. It's not a multi-day.

00:37:12

It's still crazy, but yes.

00:37:14

But now these things are so much more commonplace just to take a trip to outer space.

00:37:19

I'm so uninterested. Again, no one has offered me a ride, and it probably never will. But if I ever got an invitation, the way I would never go, I think it's seriously the stupidest thing.

00:37:27

And also, of course, if a podcaster is going to space, it will be Joe Rogan because he loves space.

00:37:33

Not only that. If a podcaster is going to space, that's the one that crashes. I just know it.

00:37:38

It's not going to be you. There's so many podcasters who are into space, and we're not. We clown on this. So I don't think we have to worry about what to do with our invitations. Getting invited. Yeah.

00:37:48

I'm just saying. I could see someone being like... I could see Brian getting a seat and being like, Do you want to come? I could see that. No, I don't. Don't ask me. I'm not going.

00:37:58

Well, it's unclear Where if it's just the crew, it's just the passengers are all women or everyone operating the rocket as well are also women. If it's fully woman, I think it's full woman.

00:38:11

They're all trying to do these, not branded, but categorize.

00:38:15

We're taking the- Yeah, like Guinness, break a record. All women, all- All dogs. Oldest, youngest, fattest, skiniest.

00:38:23

Okay, maybe I would go as the fattest, but it's just lame. It's really the space race is giving dick measuring Jeff Bezos, for some reason, is giving me smallest dick energy. He was last to the race. He is doing it for the wrong reasons. I don't think he... Nerds have a lot of different interests. His was clearly tech, and I don't think he's into space. I think he does it because he wants to keep up with everyone.

00:38:47

I think every nerd is into space.

00:38:50

I don't. I don't. I think that's you painting with a broad brush.

00:38:53

Yeah, not to stereotype, but I think every nerd is into the galaxy. Yeah, I do.

00:38:58

Let's ask Kendall Jenner.

00:39:01

She's totally like, Are aliens real?

00:39:03

She totally takes a private plane and does a whole weekend- Goes to Area 51.

00:39:08

Area 51.

00:39:08

Being like, Wait, did you guys hear that? She's such a nerd.

00:39:15

She's such a nerd. And nerds love space. They just do.

00:39:19

It's like you have to.

00:39:21

Are you ready for our next story, our fourth story?

00:39:25

Yeah.

00:39:26

Inside the six-figure goody bag given to the Oscar nomination, Oscar Nominees.

00:39:30

This is always good.

00:39:31

This is always fun. Oscar Nominees this year will receive an array of luxury products and services, including a complimentary home renovation project management from Mason Construction. They will also- Wait.

00:39:46

That's insane.

00:39:48

That's insane. They will also get a stay at a five-star resort in the Maldives. The night in one of the hotels starts at $3,000 a night. They They will be getting a four-night stay. $12,000. They will also get a five-night luxury wellness retreat in Sri Lanka.

00:40:08

Wow.

00:40:09

They will also be getting a stay at the Cotton House Hotel, 5 Star in Barcelona.

00:40:18

Okay, so lots of trips.

00:40:20

Lots of trips. Then they're also getting cosmetic surgeon specialties that they would want. Then they're also getting all the luxury skincare, all of that. The full range of Miaj skincare, estimated to cost more than $500. L'oréal Paris is also contributing Miaj, M-I-A-G.

00:40:40

What was the second one, Paris?

00:40:41

L'oréal Paris are also contributing a selection of hair care to the swag bags. Danicero will supply their D22 tonic, and then a bunch of other, the crap, too. But there's a lot of non-crap in here.

00:40:52

Yeah. Are all committees getting the same bag, from the audio mixer to the supporting actor?

00:40:59

That's a great question. Does the audio mixer get this bag?

00:41:03

Does the audio mixer get the home renovation? Because I've heard every year they share this, and it's always really luxury trips and products, but I've never heard of a free home renovation. Well, it's also like management. And does Best Documentary International Short get that?

00:41:20

He probably wants it more.

00:41:22

He needs the free one more.

00:41:24

Yeah. Also, the giveback is subject to tax laws, so some celebrities don't cash in on all the items offered to them.

00:41:30

I wouldn't either. Sometimes it's like when you win a car. If you win a car on a TV show, it could seriously put you in jail. It could bankrupt you. I would only accept the things I plan on using.

00:41:42

Yeah. Oh, my God. The whole list is so long. An ancestry DNA kit. Body contouring procedures.

00:41:52

I'd cash in on that.

00:41:54

Carmenuts, air-roasted cashews. Yummy. Just a lot of shit. It's still a gift, A gift bag with their shite, but- It's also funny because you get a gift bag from an event.

00:42:04

You think you're walking out with a tote. I'm sure it's not even a physical gift bag. It's not at the event.

00:42:11

Or there's cards in, Come to Sri Lanka.

00:42:15

They probably deliver it to your house in a pargy basket.

00:42:18

Yes. So congrats to the nominees. It pays to be nominated.

00:42:24

I guess it really is an honor.

00:42:26

Now I know why people get so upset when they don't get nominated because they're not getting a home renovation.

00:42:30

And that's why they always say it's truly an honor to be nominated because it is. Because it gets the good effect. That's half the battle.

00:42:35

It is.

00:42:37

Damn, that's crazy.

00:42:38

Are you ready for our fifth and final story?

00:42:41

00:45:45

Before we get into the fifth and final story, still no Epstein list, but I just saw something about the Jean Hackman death. There were actually three dogs in the house. One passed away with them, two others survived.

00:45:56

Oh, that's really crazy. Yeah.

00:45:58

Just something to keep in mind as we learn more.

00:46:01

That's so sad.

00:46:04

Yeah. Our fifth and final story is some big news for the kids. Big news in the kid community. Mummy Pig, Peppa Pig's mother, is pregnant.

00:46:12

I heard she's knocked up.

00:46:14

She's expecting a baby number three with Daddy Pig.

00:46:17

So it is- It's all good.

00:46:19

It's all in the faith. Within wedlock. And fellow pregnant mom, Kylie, Kelsey broke the news. So this is just like- Oh, is that like a partnership? Yeah. Cute sweet news. The star of Peppa Pig is expecting her third baby with Daddy Pig, sharing the news exclusively on Kylie's podcast, not going to lie. That's really funny. That's funny. The couple is, of course, already parents to daughter Peppa and son George. And so this is from Peppa Pig, the show, the kids show. I know. Yeah, but for anyone who doesn't know. And the show has been on for a really long time, and it's Peppa and George, mommy pig, daddy pig. You never consider that mommy pig.

00:46:50

They're still in the phase of growing their family.

00:46:52

That mommy pig still got it.

00:46:54

Right. And you'd love to see a healthy marriage, keeping the spark alive. It's really such a good example for kids. And I do think that if you are a young family, where you have to explain to your kids that mommy's pregnant, and not the birds and the bees, but the beginning. This is a fabulous tool for that.

00:47:15

Yeah, I feel like so often family shows the cast is set in stone.

00:47:20

Yeah, they're these fictional families that exist exactly how they are.

00:47:24

They don't really age, especially like, does Bluey get older? Cartoons, right. No, it's just like there's... They don't exist in time.

00:47:31

I am so shocked that you chose to say the story only because Megan Markle posted on social media yesterday, and I thought for sure you were- I've been burned, okay? Yeah, I watched a video and there was nothing to say about it. So I was curious if you were going to choose it and you had some theory that you saw.

00:47:46

No, actually, I didn't watch the video, so that's why I didn't choose it.

00:47:49

It was just a montage of clips. You didn't miss anything. Okay, so I mean, I prefer Peppa.

00:47:53

This is big news in the community, and I agree with you. It will be helpful for families that are growing. But for some reason, I didn't know that mommy pig was still getting down.

00:48:06

Shaking that thing for daddy pig late at night. Mommy pig's on all fours. Oink, oink, bitch. Get over here.

00:48:14

Bing, bong, bing, bong, bing, boom.

00:48:17

You didn't know she was throwing it in a circle like that.

00:48:20

I didn't know she was throwing that cooter for daddy pig.

00:48:23

You know what? It's really inspiring as somebody who's building my own family. You worry, of course, what's going to happen to my marriage. You think, My marriage has been this way for eight years, and is it going to change? Will I stop being the priority? That obviously is my biggest fear. Will Ben like the baby more than me, for sure. And it's nice to see a really healthy example of a good all American family, even though I believe they're British.

00:48:46

They are very British. And I'm sure you've also seen, I think back in the day we reported on this, that American kids who love Peppa Pig and watch it all the time are developing a British accent, which I think is good.

00:48:57

Yeah, I have no issues with that. You know who would love that? King George. Maybe Peppa Pig- Yeah, she's like-is the 1776 reincarnated spirit of King George, who lost it all.

00:49:10

And the son is named George.

00:49:12

Oh, my God. I'm telling you.

00:49:14

Peppa Pig is a colonizer.

00:49:16

I was going to say it's giving colonization.

00:49:19

It is. But that's the topic for another day. Today, we celebrate the Simcha.

00:49:24

Okay, but Peppa Pig is canceled. Get her colonizing fat ass us out of here.

00:49:31

Yeah. And then the Kylie-Kelsey bid is actually cute, too, that they partnered for the announcement. That's a good partnership. And I think they're a big Peppa household. In our house, we call her Peppers.

00:49:40

Of course you do. Coders and peppers.

00:49:43

Peppers-pinkers.

00:49:44

You guys have the Peppa Pig, Tony, right? I know that one.

00:49:49

The Peppa Pig, Tony is how we got into Peppa because it pops off really early in the beginning.

00:49:54

Yeah, I've been there for...

00:49:56

And we all dance.

00:49:59

It's so It's nice when I think about how I won't have to invest in technology like that because I am a Tony.

00:50:05

Oh, do you know that there are Tonys, and someone told me to do this, and this is a hack? I did know this. There are Tonys that are called creative Tonys, where you can record stuff. If you're traveling or something, you could- Good morning, girlies. It's the tons. We could put our song on a Tony and then play it for the kids. But it's also nice. Say you're traveling and you want to tell them a good night story, you could record yourself, put it on a Tony, they put it on. It's actually a brilliant idea. This is the best use I've seen.

00:50:29

I I'm going to get one of those creative Tonys and just be sitting in the studio all day. I like being alone too much to dance with you.

00:50:36

By the way, we should record one kid's episode. A whole hour long episode? No, like 20 20, 25 minutes. That's for the children.

00:50:47

That's going to be hard not to curse for 25 minutes.

00:50:49

We could edit it. Oh, true, true. And that way, we could send it to people and they could put it on the Tony. And that way we'll never age out of Chips fans.

00:50:59

Oh, I love that. That's That's actually brilliant thinking for the future.

00:51:01

Yeah. That's how we're going to capture new audiences, coaches. Tell the marketing team. Me and you.

00:51:06

Okay, Olivia. Should we dive into Summerhouse recap? We should dive. Okay, so new episode of House. Obviously, the big thing is Kyle versus Paige, which I am obsessed with, by the way, because I feel like Kyle gets away with so much. A lot of the Summer House cast mates, especially people who have been on for a while, it's just this accepted thing that you have to suck Kyle's And I love to see Paige questioning that. Never stop asking why. Yeah.

00:51:34

Also, Kyle seems to be an annoying person, right?

00:51:37

He's not someone you want to champion.

00:51:39

Right. And I think that Paige, and a lot of people just put up with him because they love Amanda, and that's her husband. He would do that for any friend. But once he gives her cause to unleash, now we are hearing what she really thinks, and it's fascinating.

00:51:54

Before that, we meet the new man, Imrul, and we also see Danielle, which was She was like, I've missed so much. Seriously, it's been one weekend.

00:52:02

You've missed one weekend. Oh my God. When she was like, The house feels different. It was three days that you missed. You might as well be a cast member. You're here.

00:52:09

You've missed just as much as in rule.

00:52:10

No. Then you're in a confessional. You're on the show.

00:52:14

Yeah. That was disappointing.

00:52:15

There was so much made of her decision to leave. The fact that she has a confession of she's on the show.

00:52:21

Yeah. It wasn't clear because she just showed up one day. But is she staying the weekend or she's visiting?

00:52:27

I think if she were visiting- She's giving senior who graduated who comes back. For sure. But if she were visiting, she would come to a party or a pool day, not be the first one in the house setting up. She's there for the weekend, for sure.

00:52:39

Okay. That July fourth party, I just feel like there's... I said this last week, but I feel like it was actually really obvious this week, the growing divide between the younger cast mates and the older ones because they shut down the party, it was still light out. And then everybody gets in bed, but all the young people are on the couch still drinking, hanging out, Lexie and... People like to be Jessie. I've seen so much Jessie Solomon hate.

00:52:58

Yeah, because he We had a couple things in last night's episode that were incongruous. I love how all in he is on Lexie, but if you want to be all in on someone, you wouldn't even look at another girl. The way that he feels about her, it shouldn't be hard at all. Duh, we're exclusive. I couldn't even look at someone else. Especially, she's so wonderful, and they're so cute together. The fact that he had pause about, Wait, you really think that we're going to dive in this so quickly and literally share a room and see each other every day? And you would talk to another. Are you crazy?

00:53:28

Yeah, I didn't think she was being unreasonable I'm asking that, but I'm saying I'd seen a lot of negative Jessie Solomon before that. Now I'm like, Well, you're not serious. At first, I was such a champion. I'm like, Yes, go get married. Who cares if you're going so fast? But then the fact that she just said, If you're going to get to know me, let's just get to know each other. I don't think that's unreasonable at all.

00:53:45

Not at all. I liked that she said that, that she's not going to be a doormat and just so glad that Jessie's looking my way. Also, she doesn't have to be that way because... She's her. She's her. If anyone can say, I'm glad that she's saying it. Also, she's right about the Instagram comments. They're Once you're in a relationship, they're inappropriate. That was fucking weird.

00:54:03

Of course they are. It was funny, and he did it for a bit. I think he left one comment and people loved it, so it was just something he did for the fans. It was cute and funny.

00:54:11

He left Amanda a nice comment once, then people thought he was with Amanda, so then he kept doing it because it's a funny- Then people started chipping him, and it was like, Kyle's the worst.

00:54:17

Look at this nice guy. It was funny and cute, but no, if you are actually seeing someone, if Ben was leaving comments, and she didn't even say, Stop leaving comments. She was like, Just change your words a little bit to like, You look beautiful in that dress. Yeah. I thought nothing she said or requested was even remotely unreasonable. I thought she was actually really measured in her request. And the fact that that's where he lost me, because up until this point, people were like, Hating, Love bombing Jessie. Who cares? It's cute. Now I'm like, No, this is weird.

00:54:44

And I didn't like that the girls didn't agree that he should stop. They were like, Oh, that's weird that she said that. No, it's not. No, it's not at all. They should have been like, Yeah, it's time to change your comments if you're going to be seeing someone. So I thought that that was weird that they couldn't see But that also speaks to this issue that we always have where people in the house don't know how to function around a relationship, and they just want everyone to just be acting single all the time while being in a relationship. Things change when you're in a relationship. I was saying this last week, I I think that's one of the downfalls of them moving so quickly is Jessie doesn't have enough time to change. When you slowly progress into a relationship, you dial back things slowly, you realize. But to go overnight, I have a girlfriend, and I have to change every single thinking about my life, that's hard for a man to conceive of.

00:55:31

Like an immature guy.

00:55:32

Yeah, because they're like, Why should I change? But when it's a slower progression, you don't notice how much you're changing.

00:55:39

Now, I want to talk about Emruelle because I like that they're bringing in someone who is young, who is single, who is hot. But people who nonstop talk about how much sex they have, I was like, Okay, so you're a virgin.

00:55:49

Yeah, sex parties. It's so my least favorite. I walked in and there's a sex swing. Okay. That's what you have to... Okay.

00:55:58

And that conversation between him and Wes about what are people from Bangladesh called? And he was like, Bengali. He was like, Oh, sweet. Yeah, I love that. Okay. You love that? Okay, that's awesome. He said, Oh, yeah. Like, Bengali Tiger. I love that. As if Imrul made it up. I love that. That's just the word.

00:56:19

Yeah. And then also it's like, Yeah, it's fun to have a single guy in the house. But when we just heard you had sex with two and a half girls in one day, nobody in the house wants to get with you.

00:56:28

No, not at all. But I don't think that's why he was Why?

00:56:30

I want Jessie's and West to come in and connect with girls. But if all the girls... That's not a suitor.

00:56:38

No, he's, I think, meant to be a social person where it's like, they're supposed to be going out, throwing parties, inviting people. That's how we got to know so many random cast mates, friends who come over. And I think that's more his thing.

00:56:51

I just feel like guys who come into the house who don't have any romantic potential with any girl just get forgotten.

00:57:00

Yes.

00:57:00

That's fair. The thing about the people who are in the house, Kyle, of course, is with Amanda. But even Carl Lindsay, now that Carl is just at the party.

00:57:11

Doing the scavenger hunt. Although I do want to say that actually That made me like him a little bit because it is an awkward thing. She's doing this household thing, and what are you going to do? Sit in the corner and cry. The fact that he not only participated, but took it really seriously, I actually liked that so much.

00:57:27

Me too. But that's next week, right?

00:57:29

Oh, is it?

00:57:30

Yeah.

00:57:32

I might not be thinking of the previews.

00:57:33

That was the preview for next week. I agree when I saw him leading the charge, like running like the wind. I'm like, okay, I like that. What's also so funny is they keep being like, if Lindsay and Carl can be at the same table in the same house, so can West and Sierra. I know that they were engaged, but West and Sierra's situation was more heartbreaking than Lindsay and Carl's. Because I guess by the time Lindsay and Carl broke up, they hated each other. Wes and Sierra broke up when she still loved him.

00:57:58

Still in love with him. I I know because I remember seeing a preview down the line, there's more drama with Cierra and Jessie Solomon flirting or something. And I really hope Cierra stops dating guys in the house because I feel like on Winterhouse, with the Austin stuff, and then that led into Summerhouse with Danielle and Lindsay. She dates the single Bravo guys and expects something different than what we're going to get from these 40-year-old bachelors. It's heartbreaking to see because you champion her so much because she's really sweet, and she's just looking for love, and she's so looking in the wrong places.

00:58:28

It's really true. In hindsight, Austin and West are just the same guy that are having fun. They're not bad guys. They're not serious guys, especially at the times that she's meeting them. West came on this reality show for a million... To be all of it... The fact that he's interested in watch parties, he just was not there to get married. And so, yeah, to keep seeking out the same thing and then being so disappointed when it doesn't work out. Disappointed in the results. Yeah, it's time to try something different. I agree.

00:59:03

And I want to say, I was a big hater of Wynnie West during the reunion. We coined the term Wynnie West. I've moved on. I think he adds a lot to the show. I think he's really funny. And I think we're less and less Because the cast is really starting to separate into two groups, those that get into bed and those that hang out and party and go out and drink. And West is a cornerstone of keeping that young group alive. So he's a real necessary part of the show. He's a good reality star. That hot dog thing was hilarious. They're doing... It's good. It's good. I've seen so much hate for the new young cast members. The Bravo fans do not like the young girls, the young guys.

00:59:43

So just Lexie and Bayly?

00:59:46

Lexie, Jessie, and West. They don't like this new generation of stars coming in the house. I disagree. And you know I'm such a hater when new people come. I'm always like, go back to the original. I was like, I'm so stubborn. I think that Bravo has actually done a very good job of keeping the show. You have to cycle people in and cycle people out. I think they've done a great job. Even though Bayly doesn't work out, Lexi's great.

01:00:08

Lexie was an inspired choice.

01:00:11

With Westy and Jess being last season.

01:00:13

Westy and Jess.

01:00:14

Jessie and West last season, I think Lexie will stick around. For so long, they couldn't keep a single guy in the house. When you think of all the people who came in and out, it was so hard to find guys. Lexie is a fabulous addition. I think that they're doing what they couldn't do with Van Ru I'm bruls. I think they're doing it quite well. I'm surprised to see so much hate.

01:00:33

Yeah, I agree. Some people just don't like change, and maybe those young people make them feel old. But that's what a summer house is. And I do think right now, it all works together, even though they're more split. There's interconnecting story lines. It works. It totally works. I love to see Paige and Lindsay. I agree about Wes that I've moved on, and I seriously couldn't stand him. But he's taken his He's gotten hate, and now it's time to move on. You're not just going to hate someone forever. He said something really funny last night, which is like, do you think that Danielle is going to say something to Jessie and Lexie about moving too quickly?

01:01:13

L-o-l.

01:01:15

So that was just like, Yeah, I'm ready to move on. He made a mistake.

01:01:18

He did his time.

01:01:19

He did his time. What am I going to hold on to it?

01:01:22

We need to talk about Paige and Lindsay being friends and shopping together for maybe clothes.

01:01:25

It's all I ever wanted.

01:01:27

It's all we've ever wanted. It was really beautiful to see. And I love so many things about her. I loved this anti-roll that paycheck immediately fell into. And just the whole thing made me so happy. And I just love this season of life for Lindsay. We liked Lindsay before. We were like Lindsay Apologist, but she's always been like somebody you had to defend and be like, Yeah, she's crazy. But this era of her life so suits her. She's so beautiful, carrying and looking, and it's just a joy to watch.

01:01:56

Yeah, I agree.

01:01:58

I loved it.

01:01:59

It's blending really well. Even if she doesn't want to stay in the house the whole weekend, seeing her in the city, then there was the rooftop party I can't believe we haven't even spoken about.

01:02:06

I can't believe how everybody shows up to these things. A rooftop summer party packed with people, you know Paige would dying not to go. Just looks so horrible. Just to watch this 47-year-old man DJ for a beverage company that he uses a knife and stabs everybody with. I couldn't believe everybody showed up. That's so nice. And that's what Paige She was alluding to because she puts up with this bullshit. She does things she doesn't want to do. She makes no money off of this company.

01:02:35

None of them do. You would think that the cast members have even a small %, 0. 5 %, 1 % of Loverboy because they're hoffing it every single week. They're drinking it. They're making it look good. They have all zero. They've not made a cent.

01:02:49

I think for Paige, who has really steadily gone from being a reality star to a true celebrity and a really influential person. She just did a huge campaign with Malibu Rum or something. She gets paid for this. Maybe it's starting to bother her a little bit more. Plus the text messages were just like, Are you fucking kidding me? I loved everything she said. Then the Spritz and the Craig of it all. But beyond that, it's like, Are you kidding me? How dare you even say one crossword to me after all I do for you, and I never complain.

01:03:19

That's really harks back- The expectation from Kyle that everyone will keep doing this. For nothing.

01:03:26

In the beginning- Jesse Solomon wearing a Loverboy hat the whole episode.

01:03:28

He didn't want anyone Not doing anything else, but it's been years now. People are able to do other things, but that you would still be that rigid while you're giving them nothing. Militaristic. But really, and they're on a show that's about alcohol, and they can't work with other alcohol brands.

01:03:44

They can't drink anything Jason to Page, so Hannah and Crike, who are not on this show, can't do a partnership.

01:03:49

They talked also about Hannah on BFF's pod when she said that she got fired from the show because Kyle got her fired because she had done a ad with another brand.

01:03:58

Truly. Yeah. And that's been... She had said that, and the internet knew that that partnership she did, I believe it was with Truly, was a big part of him trying to get her fired. And his favorite thing, Kyle, every time he gets a Q, so that is like, What are you talking about? How does Q score? Everybody knows how does Q score, how does Q score, how does Q score? And when you're a reality star, like Bravo does focus groups and testing, and you get a likability score. And if people really like you, that's your Q score. It goes up, it goes down. Having a negative Q score, obviously, sucks, but it It doesn't mean that you get fired. People need to be disliked. People need villains. So Kyle's flawed reason... I didn't get her fired. She had a bad Q-Score. So did Lisa Rinna for many years, and you're a necessary part of the show.

01:04:41

Who would have had a lower Q-Score than West after the reunion? And so he should just be got fired. No, it's more interesting to keep him on.

01:04:47

He uses that metric. He thinks people don't understand it. So like, well, she had a low Q-Score. Of course, she got fired. Actually, a low Q-Score is not everybody can have a high Q-Score. That's a boring show.

01:04:55

No, it's a sign of interest.

01:04:57

Right, exactly. It's controversial. You're a little radio So he loves to use that when it's actually not true. And so it's just crazy because the thing he's being accused of with Hannah from years ago is exactly what's happening now with Craig and Spritz. And Craig is not even a cast member on this show.

01:05:13

Right.

01:05:15

I understand, first of all, Paige being like, Don't crawl up my ass for things other people did. I agree with her completely. I hate when people are mad at you for something somebody you know did. Like, Bitch, get off my ass. This isn't me. Especially with how much I fucking do for you, and I don't say anything about it. So Now that you brought it up, let's talk about it.

01:05:31

No, but also not only what everyone does for Loverboy, which is insane and for them, but that he does nothing for anyone else. I don't follow him, but does he ever talk about Giggly Squad? Does he ever talk about her tour?

01:05:44

No, when Paige was like, What have you ever supported?

01:05:44

Does he ever talked about her Amazon Live? Probably not.

01:05:48

No, it's so true. When she said, When have you ever supported anything I've done? It's so true. Think about all the things they do. They're writing a book. She has a podcast. She goes on tour. She's a huge Amazon Live contributor. She does a ton of fashion stuff. When have you literally ever even left a nice comment. You don't support... But I have to be over here doing millions of dollars in free advertising for you and your company just for me to get yelled at for one thing that my friend and boyfriend did that you don't like. She's so justified and being activated, and I need her to go harder.

01:06:15

Yeah, no, she's so activated. She's just saying everything. It probably things that were obvious truths, but she would never say because of Amanda.

01:06:23

Yes, there's a lot of complex dynamics. One, Amanda, but two, Kyle being the OG castmate, I think he's not a producer by any... But he definitely has... If there's a hierarchy, he's at the top of it. He works with production on getting people cast. So he has power that other people don't have. So you have to walk this line with Kyle and being his friend and his adversary while also trying to maintain your job. And I feel like in the beginning, the work as twins, and Steven, they were all trying to say that, but they all just got fired. But now there are all these other cast mates who are like, The page is not going to get fired. She can say whatever the fuck she wants.

01:07:01

Paige is not going to get fired. I feel like for Paige, she's not scared of getting fired. That's why she will say whatever she wants. It's powerful. Because I'm sure at some point, if she leaves the show or the show leaves her, she knows that she's going to be... She has all this stuff off of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if she left on her own accord. To not care- Is power. She doesn't need to care, and she doesn't need the show.

01:07:21

But the imbalance of power gives him room to act certain ways. And that's why people put up with a lot of the shit that he does. Whereas if it was any other regular castmate, imagine Danielle and her fashion app coming at Page. I can't believe you're doing Amazon Live. That's what it is.

01:07:42

Right.

01:07:43

So why can't she say that? But Kyle can. This isn't a Loverboy-sponsored show.

01:07:48

They're not getting paid by Loverboy.

01:07:51

Correct.

01:07:53

Unless you're an employee, Carl. They're being good friends. They're being above and beyond every single party, every single episode Whatever you see.

01:08:00

And they're still getting yelled at. Right.

01:08:02

It's insane.

01:08:03

It's insane. Paige is so justified. Too faced? It's time. You think I'm too faced? I'm so ready.

01:08:09

It's time. I'm actually grateful to Spritz and Craig for bringing this conversation to the floor.

01:08:15

I also love to see Paige and Hannah having each other's back so much because I feel like because of that power imbalance, when Hannah got fired, you still have to walk a certain line because Paige was still trying to keep her job, and that's her best friend, and she wants to defend her to Hannah, I mean, to Kyle, but then also Amanda's her best friend. Now I feel like Paige is at a real point where she can defend her friend so wholeheartedly without giving a fuck because she has nothing to lose.

01:08:35

Yeah.

01:08:36

And that must feel really good for Hannah, too. It feels like justice. And I love that Hannah is still being talked about on this show. You just know she fucking lives for it. They tried to destroy her life. They almost did. They almost did. And you know she just fucking lives for this shit.

01:08:51

That is so funny.

01:08:52

It really is. It's a Phoenix Rising from the Ashes type of story, which you love to see. Yeah.

01:08:57

Justice being served.

01:08:59

So the big The kerfuffle is next week between Kyle and Page. Let me tell you, Kyle is not a worthy adversary. Paige is so intellectually... She's a good fighter. She uses her words well. She doesn't fight a lot. So when she does, she's mad. He is not a worthy adversary for her.

01:09:17

No, I think he storms out and says, I'm done.

01:09:20

Classic. He can barely string two words together. I'm so looking forward to the verbal violation that will occur.

01:09:25

The evisceration.

01:09:26

Of Kyle Cook. That's going to be fun to watch.

01:09:30

So we'll see it next week.

01:09:32

Yes, we will. Tomorrow is the last episode of the week. We've got Queenie and Weanie. We've got Southern Charm Recap. And then the new episodes of Love is Blind, I think, released tomorrow. 01:10:08

Now that Southern Charms is so white loaded- Prevalent. I thought you were saying Page and Craig, too. Page and Craig, of course. There's just intel coming in from all the different things. It's so true. Yeah, so I will be enjoying my Southern Charm this evening.
