We have a significant development this evening. The United States stock market is tumbling after Donald Trump's Trade War threats, along with his threats to invade Greenland, have really completely engulfed the White House in a territory of chaos, to the point where now one former Trump press secretary is coming out and saying that it's time for Congress to take a look and investigate the President's mental fitness. Came after a very bizarre press conference today, marking his one year in office for a second time, where the President spent about two hours really speaking about himself and going off on long tangents instead of focusing on his perceived accomplishments throughout the first year. And well, now We are seeing a President who seemingly can't really get a grip on the market, on the economy, because at the same time, while Donald Trump was speaking about how he was having record high stock markets, the market was actually tanking hundreds and hundreds of points. I'm not going to stop. Not now, not ever, even as some media companies may cave. Let's take a look at this. Stephanie Grisham, who's previously served as Donald Trump's press secretary in his first term, remarked on the press conference saying, This is bizarre, even for him. It's all the usual rambling, off-topic tales, half-truths, lies, the quote, I fixed everything. No one has ever seen anything like its stuff, but it's low energy, and it feels like he's mentally slipping. Congress, please wake up, please. And she wasn't the only one feeling this way. She really wasn't. And it's because of remarks like this, where he was randomly talking about his baseball career growing up.

00:01:51

In my area in Queens, I grew up in Queens. We had a place called Creedmore. Creedmore. Did anybody know that? Creedmore. It was a big, I said, Mom, why are those bars on the building? I used to play Little League Baseball there, a place called Cunningham Park. It was quite the baseball play, you wouldn't believe. But I said to my mother, Mom, She would be there, always there for me. She said, Son, you could be a professional baseball player. I said, Thanks, Mom. I said, Why are those bars on the windows? Big building, big, powerful building. It loomed over the park, actually. She said, Well, people that are very sick are in that building. I said, Boy, I used to always look at that building and I'd see this big building, big, tall building. It loomed over the park. Now that I think it was a pretty unfriendly site. But I'll never forget. I don't know if it's still there, because they got rid of most of them. The Democrats in New York, they took them down, and the people live on the streets now. That's why you have a lot of the people in California and other places, they live in the streets.

They took the mental institutions down. They're expensive.

So no one really knew what he was talking about here too much. And now you have a press secretary saying, it's time for Congress to take a look. But it comes during this press conference, he talked about his economy because the economy has been a central tenet of his focus. And yet at the same time, while he was boasting about so-called record economic numbers, this is what really happened today. Us Treasury yield spiked and the US dollar declined as Trump's threats have caused a flight from US assets. Danish pension operator, Academica Pension, said Tuesday that it's existing US Treasuries because of finance concerns over US debt. The Dow Jones shed 870 points or about 1. 76 %. S&p 500 dipped 2. 06 %. Nasdaq slid 2. 4 % about, the worst session since October. And the day's loss has put the S&P 500 and Nasdaq into negative territory for 2026. The Broad Market Index is now off 0. 7 %, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq is down 1. 2 %. The fear gage for Wall Street spiked to a high of 20. 99. And it comes as ICE enforcement activities in Minnesota continue. And today we learn that a police officer was actually stopped by ICE agents and demanded that she show her papers, even though she was a Minneapolis police officer.

Take a listen.

The Daily Caller. Earlier today, Brooklyn Park Police Chief said that his Department- Good morning, everyone. I'm Mark Rulhey, Police Chief for City of Brooklyn Park. Behind me is a bunch of amazing police chiefs that are here in support of a very short but very important message that we want to share with you. What you won't hear from any of us today is rhetoric of abolish ICE, or that there shouldn't be immigration enforcement. The truth is, immigration enforcement is necessary for our national security and for local security. But how it's done is extremely important. In fact, we have a long history of working exceptionally well with our federal partners, including ICE agents, and we have seen the best of them perform their job extremely well in the past. With that said, recently, as As the last two weeks, we, as law enforcement community, have been receiving endless complaints about civil rights violations in our streets from US citizens. What we're hearing is they're being stopped in traffic stops or on the street with no cause and being forced to demand paperwork to determine if they are here legally. As this went on over the past two weeks, We started hearing from our police officers the same complaints as they fell victim to this while off-duty.

00:06:07

Every one of these individuals is a person of color who has had this happen to them. In Brooklyn Park, One particular officer that shared her story with me was stopped as she passed ICE going down the roadway. When they boxed her in, they demanded her paperwork, of which she's a US citizen and clearly would not have any paperwork. When she became concerned about the rhetoric and the way she was being treated, she pulled out her phone. In an attempt to record the incident, the phone was knocked out of her hands, prevented her from recording it. The officer had their guns drawn During this interaction. After the officer became so concerned, they were forced to identify themselves as a Brooklyn Park Police Officer in hopes of slowing the incident and de-escalating the incident down. The agents then immediately left after hearing this, making no other comments, no other apologies, just got in their vehicles and left. I wish I could tell you that this was an isolated incident. In fact, many of the chiefs standing behind me have similar incidents with their off-duty officers. This isn't just important because it happened to off-duty police officers, but what it did do is we know that our officers know what the Constitution is, they know what right and wrong is, and they know when people are being targeted, and that's what they were.

00:07:30

The Show Me Your Paper situation in Minnesota is serious and it's growing. And as you can hear from the Brooklyn Park chief in that video, at least one of his officers, undercover, or not undercover, I guess, off-duty, they were stopped, and they were demanded to prove their citizenship. It's happening across Minneapolis right now as American citizens are being forced to prove their citizenship to ICE agents, and it's only likely to get worse. That's the news right now.
