Donald Trump now facing the worst defeat in presidential history. During a midterm elections, Democrats will take control of both chambers, the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. In the Senate, Democrats will take at least 55 seats, a commanding majority there. In the House of Representatives, Democrats likely will take about 255 seats, folks, perhaps even more over there. And when you look at some of the state legislative races as well, Democrats just won the Texas statewide races.

They won the Texas House, they won the Texas Senate. Democrats also flipped control of the State House in North Carolina. Democrats flipped the Georgia State House. Democrats flipped the New Hampshire State House. Democrats took back control of the Michigan State House. The biggest state legislative victory as well by Democrats, not just at the federal level, and then all of the governors' races that Democrats won as well. We made this super cut right here of Donald Trump at the rally saying the polls are fake and ranting and raving like a lunatic, and then we contrasted it with the actual results.

Let's play this clip and I'm going to show you that Donald Trump ain't handling this well at all. Let me show you this. Let's play this clip.

Speaker 500:02:49

Except for the fake polls out there. My poll numbers are great. No, they have such fake polls.

Speaker 600:02:54

CNN projects that Democrat John Ossoff will win the Senate race.

Speaker 700:02:58

Keisha Lance Bottoms will become the next governor of Georgia.

Speaker 800:03:02

You can dismiss the polls, okay? The polls are wrong.

Speaker 600:03:06

Don't buy it. I'm telling you, I'm on the ground in the swing districts. I am seeing huge energy and crowds. It feels like 2024 to me.

Speaker 500:03:13

Amy Acton.

Speaker 900:03:14

Geneina Hossam makes history.

Speaker 1000:03:15

James Talarico.

Speaker 1100:03:17

We just took back Texas.

Speaker 500:03:20

Roger Marshall. He's one of the best senators. I think he's tied or up by a little bit.

Speaker 600:03:25

Hamilton will defeat the Republican incumbent, Senator Roger Marshall.

Speaker 1200:03:28

They pull way too many Democrats.

Speaker 1300:03:30

Chris Pappas.

Speaker 1400:03:30

Jocelyn Benson.

Speaker 1500:03:31

Amy Klobuchar.

Speaker 1600:03:32

Deb Holland.

Speaker 1700:03:33

Zach Dembo.

Speaker 600:03:34

Cage Cognetti. Democrats will win control of the House of Representatives.

Speaker 500:03:39

They were made up fake.

Speaker 600:03:42

Rob Stan, Democrat Josh Turick, will win the Senate seat in Iowa.

Speaker 1700:03:46

I know. I'm only 26 years old, but I've never seen a poll that was real. Every single one is fake. Why are we suddenly going to start believing that these polls are actually showing reality?

Speaker 600:03:59

Democrats will win control of the US Senate.

Speaker 500:04:03

Frankly, I think the Times should be prosecuted for that.

Speaker 600:04:06

Roy Cooper will win. Democrat Peggy Flanagan will win.

Speaker 1800:04:10

Senator Susan Collins has called Democratic Senate nominee Troy Jackson to concede.

Speaker 500:04:15

You know, we have sent 1,000 posters all over the country. I'll bet you some guy says that.

Speaker 1900:04:21

Michigan, we did it.

Speaker 500:04:24

And I examined his ass.

Speaker 2000:04:26

The green, that's not grass, that's algae.

Speaker 500:04:29

Oh, baby. Oh, oh mom. Oh. Pretend that I'm on the ballot. I'm on the ballot.

Speaker 2100:04:36

You know, I don't like to consider it a defeat. For me, I was on the ballot.

Ben Meiselas00:04:45

So Donald Trump called into state regime media, which calls itself Fox, after this stunning defeat, which actually wasn't all that stunning if you've been following what's been happening over here. And Donald Trump was like, "I got Greenland. I got Greenland." Here, play this clip.

Speaker 500:05:01

Greenland. You know, everybody said, "Oh, Greenland, Greenland. He's not going to get it." I got Greenland. We have Greenland. And nobody talks about it. Greenland is massively rich. And we made a deal on Greenland. I didn't have to go to war to do it. That's what I do. I make deals. We've made we've done things that think of it. Greenland is three times the size of Texas. And we got it. Very little fanfare when we got it.

Speaker 600:05:25

Yeah.

Speaker 500:05:25

If I didn't get it, there'd be massive fanfare, I can tell you. But we got it and it's permanent. It's forever. It's not like 100 years. The JC, you know, the Obama nuclear thing.

Speaker 600:05:37

JC Pence.

Speaker 500:05:37

The Obama.

Ben Meiselas00:05:39

You didn't get Greenland. I have no clue what you're talking about. This is what you're ranting and raving about after that massive loss. Donald Trump, though, did say, I guess I do have to say, congratulations to Democrats here. Play this clip.

Speaker 2200:05:51

Take from tonight and a message to the American people?

Speaker 500:05:55

Well, I say this: Congratulations to the Democrats. They did a good job. They've been looking for this one for 11 years and they finally got it. But I don't view it as a hit on me. I think we've done a we've had the greatest two years in the history of the presidency.

Ben Meiselas00:06:12

Can we take a look, folks, at what's happening in Austin right now, where there are celebrations like the Super Bowl was just won in Austin? By the way, this reminds me of almost like a toppling of an authoritarian regime, right? You think about what just took place in Texas where Democrats took control of the State House, the State Senate, all of the major statewide races Democrats won. The Governor's Mansion now in the control of Gina Hinojosa, the governor-elect as Abbott tapped out.

Then you had James Talarico with the major victory over Ken Paxton as well. Let's show some of these celebrations in Austin. Let's play it. Then Elon Musk, who moved his businesses to Texas and injected like a billion dollars into all of these races with a lot of focus on Texas. Say goodbye to that money right there.

Elon Musk is saying data centers in space looking pretty appealing right now. Meanwhile, Congresswoman Yasmin Asari, Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, says, "Thank you, Mr. President," or "Thank you." Our thank you will come in January with subpoenas. Democratic Congressmember Garcia, who will be the new chair of the House Oversight Committee, says, "Lawyer up." Here's the official statement from incoming chairman of the US House Oversight Committee, Congressmember Robert Garcia.

Today, Representative Garcia, ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, following the win, Garcia will become the chairman of the House Oversight Committee. His statement is simple: "Lawyer up." And here's the moment that state regime media Fox heard that that's what Garcia said. Here, play this clip.

Speaker 2200:08:03

Good point. What could be the incoming oversight chairman, Robert Garcia, just put a statement out. If they go on to secure the majority in the House, he would be the chairman of the Oversight Committee. He has two words, quote, "Lawyer up." That's the message of.

Speaker 600:08:24

Harold?

Speaker 2200:08:25

So, I mean, they're sending the signal that it's going to be a bumpy ride and that's the choice that at least Robert Garcia is making.

Ben Meiselas00:08:32

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, when he was on the call with state regime media Fox on live TV, is like, "All your polls are terrible." And then Brett Baier is like, "Yeah, but we were right. Like, we predicted that there was going to be this wave. So how are we wrong and our polls are terrible?" And Donald Trump's like, "I don't know about that." Here, play this clip.

Speaker 500:08:51

And that I shouldn't say this, but Abraham Lincoln was at 8%, Ronald Reagan was at 13%, and Trump was at like 54%. And then I read at Fox that I'm not popular. You know, I mean, the Fox polls are terrible. You ought to get yourself a good pollster because your pollster is the worst.

Speaker 2200:09:11

But tonight, actually, the results are pretty close to what the Fox polls showed.

Speaker 500:09:14

Well, I don't know about that. I can just tell you about speaking for myself. And the results with Fox with me were wrong for 12 years. I mean, they've gotten me wrong for 12 years. But.

Ben Meiselas00:09:27

Brett Baier asked Donald Trump if he's going to accept all of the results of the election. Let's play it.

Speaker 500:09:31

The administration.

Speaker 2200:09:32

But you're going to accept all these races, right?

Speaker 500:09:34

Yeah, sure. I'll accept them. Why wouldn't I?

Speaker 2200:09:36

But let me ask you this.

Ben Meiselas00:09:38

Caroline Leavitt. She had her perspective that she goes, "I just think the American people didn't know what they were doing. This was all one big mistake," she said. Play this clip.

Speaker 2300:09:47

Before the president launched the operation in Iran, I remember being at the podium talking about how gasoline was $1.99 in states like Colorado. And that was because of his energy dominance plan, not the Democrats. So unfortunately, I think the American people forgot about the good policy, maybe listened to the lying media on the other side that is definitely in the backseat of the Democrat Party. And the Democrats don't have policy solutions.

Speaker 2400:10:13

And you know how much money they have.

Speaker 2300:10:14

I don't.

Speaker 2400:10:14

They got more money in their pockets because of the president's tax cuts that Democrats voted against.

Ben Meiselas00:10:19

But Trump was like, "You know, I think Democrats did " He goes, "I think Democrats did a good job. The blue tsunami was so big, that's what Donald Trump was left with saying." He goes, "Yeah, I think they did a good job." And I wasn't on the ballot. Here, play this clip.

Speaker 500:10:33

We didn't have enough.

Speaker 2200:10:34

Your home state, you did have two big wins.

Speaker 500:10:36

Two of them. Two good ones.

Speaker 2200:10:38

A little closer than people thought they were going to be.

Speaker 500:10:40

A lot. No, not a little. They were a lot closer. They were a lot closer.

Speaker 2200:10:43

To the issue that Martha mentioned about the war, clearly that's a message in some of the polls that we see in these exit polls that cross the board.

Speaker 500:10:51

I don't think it's a war though, Brent. I think it's a gasoline price. People agree with what I'm doing on Iran, but they really probably weren't willing to do the short-term consequence of paying more for gasoline. And that, you know, I understand that. It's like I don't agree with it. And I would say to people, you know, it's a short-term it's a short-term problem, but for long-term gain. But, you know, is that too bad? Hey, look, bottom line is they were not able in many cases to get the votes.

And I think the Democrats did a good job. I really do. I think they did a good job. They fought hard. They were, you know, they've been fighting for a long time. They've been fighting me for a long time. This fight's been going on for ages. You know, I started in really, if you look at it, I've been doing it for 12 years with them and I've come up on top all the time. And this is, I don't say, you know, I don't like to consider it a defeat. For me, I was on the ballot. If you're on the ballot, it's different than if you're not on the ballot.

But nevertheless, you know, I feel badly for a lot of very good Republicans, a lot of very good patriots that lost tonight because for them to lose is a tough thing.

Speaker 2400:12:05

President Trump, you said you've spoken with some of the Democrats who won tonight. Where do you think you could work together and what would you like to accomplish if you can give us any.

Ben Meiselas00:12:15

Except you would always say, "I am on the ballot. Vote for me like I am on the ballot." Just I'll give you an example of one of those speeches. Let's play it.

Speaker 500:12:23

I want you to do me one big favor. Pretend that I'm on the ballot. Pretend that I'm on the ballot because we get a lot more votes. I really am on the ballot.

Ben Meiselas00:12:31

Meanwhile, in Israel, Netanyahu is likely going to be out of power as well. We know that Gadi Eisen caught the opposition leader from the Assar Party forming a coalition government there with the Arab bloc. And Israel's Central Election Committee said that it reviewed all of the complaints issued by Netanyahu that the election was stolen. And they said, "BS, the election was not stolen." Take a look at this map, though, of the directional arrows of the country turning all blue in 2024.

You can see the country moving red in 2026, all blue. As this one account said, "Do you realize how bad you have to govern for this to happen?" Also, shout out to Bo Bye over in Indiana winning the Secretary of State race there and pushing a lot of Indiana races with him as well. Bo Bye. We all know the Bye family from Indiana. And, you know, you look, I interviewed Bo Bye early in this election cycle. And to see, you know, Bo win that race in Indiana, that's a big deal.

You had Donald Trump also posting, ranting and raving like a lunatic about Bill de Blasio, former mayor of New York City, who's a Fox pundit now. And Donald Trump's like, "Why does Fox have Bill de Blasio, the worst mayor in the history of New York on our on air, ranting and raving like a lunatic? He left the city in disgrace." Actually, de Blasio had a pretty good appearance on state regime media Fox. Here's what he had to say. Here, play this clip.

Speaker 600:14:03

That's not what people are voting on. I've been on many Fox programs. I respect this network, but I've got to tell you guys, you're missing the plot. The American people are looking at a war they do not believe in and they did not authorize. They're looking at prices that are making it impossible for middle-class people, let alone working-class people, to live. They are losing their healthcare. It's not about Medicare for All. Some of us believe that'd be a good policy. It's not going to happen tomorrow. Right now, people can't get the healthcare they need. So this is what's happening. And the Republican Party had an opportunity to speak to it. The Congress had an opportunity to legislate. They did not do it in this last year.

So I think Republicans in Florida, there's plenty of Republicans tonight who said, "I am not getting what I expected from this president or this president."

Speaker 2300:14:42

But they had a choice before the more moderate candidate and they chose to let go of Haley Stevens and go with a Democratic socialist.

Speaker 600:14:48

A populist economic message that says our economy is rigged. I mean, Bernie started this 10 years ago. Our economy is rigged and a small group of billionaires has too much power in this country. There's a hell of a lot of Republicans and independents who agree with that message. And they made that clear tonight.

Ben Meiselas00:15:02

To which Donald Trump said, "I'm going to become a political pundit, both good and bad, on the reasons these candidates won and lost." Then Donald Trump's posting weird AI hats that say, "Veto, veto." Very odd right there. And then Kristi Noem, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary, who's obviously going to be the subject of a lot of investigations in the House and the Senate. She said, "Larry Kudlow is correct. We were too successful the first year of the Trump administration."

Senator Maggie Hassan, who's going to be the chair of the Department of Homeland Security Committee, who's going to be investigating Kristi Noem, Senator Hassan said, "Want to say that under oath? Want to say that under oath?" Anyway, we'll leave you with that, folks. Big day, big victory, massive defeat for Donald Trump. Let me know what you think.
