Transcript of Trump Has Catastrophic Monday as Reckoning Begins

Donald Trump is not handling this well. Election Day is here, less than 24 hours away from Election Day. The blue wave is already forming. MAGA Republicans are pissed. MAGA Republicans leaking to POLITICO the following: "At least when Barack Obama was president, he only screwed his enemies, never his friends." And then others were saying, "Yeah, I think John Eusted's ass and Nicki Minaj." Great closing message there, Donald.

We're not going to let that happen.

You'd still be able to do what you do, work with Democrats even if they do?

Well, if that happens, I guess I'll become Mr. Veto. I'm not going to let them run. And then at some point, we'll probably make deals. That's what's happened. I mean, this is.

Then the reporter asked him, "So, can you promise the voters that we'll see $2 gasoline again, $2 a gallon?" And Donald Trump's, "Oh, it's going to be way less. It's going to be you'll see. We're going to do a deal with Iran. It's going to be amazing." Here's what he says.

Into us made someplace else. They may come here and there are no tariffs. We are doing better than we've ever done as a country.

Will we see $2 gas again?

Oh, you'll see less. So when I started, when I had to go to, I said, "We're going to have to do a detour, go to a rent." You know, I knew what was going to happen. The price would go up.

Then he says, "You know what, though? This really isn't having even this really hasn't even been a war. There hasn't even been fighting. There's not a lot of fighting taking place." Here, play this clip.

Nuclear does. When you think about it, we're not fighting right now. It's, you know, much of this war, we haven't really been fighting. We fought them. We did them very hard a couple of times. And then we sat back and watched. Right now, they're not.

And then, of course, he's already setting up for, "The election was rigged. It was faked. Everything's unfair." The New York Post reporter, Miranda Devine, she says, "So, are you confident that these elections will be secure?" He's like, "No. Look at Alaska. Look at what's happening in Alaska." What do you mean, what's happening in Alaska? Where you even had the Republican State Attorney General's office said that your arguments are frivolous. The Republican-led Supreme Court in Alaska threw out and rejected this a long time ago.

Do you are you confident that these elections will be secure, that you've managed?

No. Well, look, when you have Alaska where they look for a guy, not only, you know, people don't he even looks like Dan Sullivan, but.

And then Donald Trump's, like, "A lot of people don't know what incumbent means. It's a very hard word for people, the word incumbent. People don't know what it means." Play this clip.

Something about Republican incumbent, tiny little, you know, letters on the bottom. A lot of people don't know what that means, incumbent. What does that mean, incumbent? They have no idea.

So what other.

Then Donald Trump sending out his secret weapon. Don Jr. is now campaigning on the final day. Really, Don Jr.? I would say, where has he been? But he's been grifting over and over again at the expense of the American people. No wonder corruption and the economy are the top two issues that voters are focused on heading into the election. Because they're inextricably intertwined, right? I mean, the corruption, while the American people are suffering, the Trump family is quite literally making billions of dollars.

They're saying these things. They want to let the transgender thing's not an issue. We just want to go after your three-year-olds without parental consent.

Then they send out their other secret weapon. The MAGA Republican send out their Republican Wisconsin congressional candidate, Michael Alfonso. This is the new MAGA prince, they're calling him. He's the son-in-law of Sean Duffy. And he goes, "I'm 26 years old, but all polls are fake. There's no such thing as a real poll." This is what Duffy's son-in-law, who's the MAGA candidate in Wisconsin, this is what they look like right now. I don't know what's even going on with the eyebrows.

Look, I know I'm only 26 years old, but I've never seen a poll that was real. Every single one is fake. Why are we suddenly going to start believing that these polls are actually showing reality? They're telling you that Republicans are down everywhere, from Kansas to Alaska. That's not true. Republicans don't answer polls. I've talked to people all over the district. Not a single one has had a polling call. And I'll tell you what, they are excited to get out and vote not just for their futures, but their kids' futures and their grandkids' futures.

And then you had JD Vance spewing a bunch of nonsense. Play this clip.

This morning, you then had RNC Chair Joe Grutters. He was on NewsNation, and he was asked, "So, do you think it's like good strategy that Donald Trump is bragging about how people wouldn't even be able to afford a burger and a dessert if he were to give them $5,000 because Mar-a-Lago's so expensive?" Like, this is what he's going around saying on the campaign trail. And also, he actually hasn't given people $5,000 before, and it's just another lie that he's just more fraud from the regime.

You know, I know that the president is still making jokes about how expensive it is just to eat at his Florida golf club. This was something that he said over the weekend.

"Unfortunately, at Mar-a-Lago, at $5,000, all you'd get would be one hamburger and a very small dessert."

Are you worried that the president's tone when it comes to the economy and affordability has turned off some voters, Joe, or a lot of voters?

No, because I've talked to the president about this, and he definitely has empathy for people. The one good thing about the president is he's been focused on the American worker since day one. And if you look at the fact that we've had like a million private sector jobs created under his presidency, he's brought $22 trillion worth of investments back. You know, five decades in DC leadership, we've seen American jobs be shipped overseas for cheap in exchange for cheap foreign goods. This president said no more. He's going to bring that back.

So then you had Kevin Hassett, Donald Trump's national economic advisor. He was on CNBC this morning, and he was asked by the MAGA hosts, like a MAGA network now, CNBC. And Joe Kernan, the MAGA host, says, "You know, while there's income growth, because of inflation, people aren't feeling any income growth." To which Kevin Hassett says, "Nah, that's only in the last couple of months, but things are great." And he just lies about the economy. Play this clip.

It's not it's either you're breaking even or you're not really getting ahead because of where inflation is.

Well, that was just the last couple of months. That was just the last couple of months. In fact, one of the things that we did when we got the 3.4% GDP number is we just looked at what consumption, real consumption after adjusting for inflation is in the latest report compared to what it was when President Trump took office. And it's up $5,000 per family, $5,000 per family because people are not losing their jobs. Initial claims for unemployment insurance are about the lowest that they've been, and people are seeing wage growth. And there were a couple of months in a row where inflation outstripped wage growth, but from the beginning, people's purchasing power is way up.

"The people of Mississippi understand why something they used to be able to afford is out of reach. They know good and well that gas prices are higher because of that war in the Gulf.

Now contrast that to Donald Trump speaking on that right-wing New York Post podcast with Miranda Devine when he was asked, 'Do you need regime change in Iran?' And Trump's like, 'We've got regime change. Things are already changed.' Here, play this clip.

Do you need regime change for that?

Well, it's sort of, you know, we've knocked out two of their regimes. So, you know, we've sort of changed it in a sense. You also have to have somebody to talk to. You know, we're saying, 'Who do we speak to?' But no, it's very simple to me. They can't have a nuclear weapon.

Or Donald Trump saying, 'Things are going so well. The real people,' Trump says, 'the real people are doing well.' When Trump says the real people are doing well, he means the Epstein class, the Mar-a-Lago class. Remember earlier this morning I showed you the video of like the half-naked men running around Mar-a-Lago dressed as cats while they had zebras running around Mar-a-Lago? And then you had, you know, that whole, you know, deranged scene. I called it like a Gatsby party meets Epstein party.
