This episode covers Donald Trump's erratic posts in the final day before the midterm elections, including an AI image of his face on Elvis, attacks on New York Attorney General Letitia James and meme posts. Host Ben Meiselas also reviews recent polls, including the New York Times Siena survey, and argues that its methodology changes could understate Democratic support.
The discussion moves to Trump's Reflecting Pool speech and his claims about the Vietnam War. Listeners get the host's commentary on these events, which he presents as his own view.

Donald Trump is panicking as we are less than 24 hours away from Election Day, and the polls keep on getting worse and worse for Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. Late last night, Donald Trump kept on posting weird AI photos of his face superimposed on half of the face of Elvis. That is Donald Trump's closing message to voters, apparently. An AI image of his face superimposed on half the face of Elvis. Also, late last night, Donald Trump kept on attacking New York Attorney General Letitia James.
New York prosecutor claims Letitia James directed attacks on Donald Trump. That's what you're posting late at night, right before the midterms. Donald Trump is also posting weird memes about Madden Football video games, Madden Most Feared, MAGA edition, and some weird photo of Donald Trump. What do you mean, Madden Most Feared? You know the American people are struggling right now. This ain't a game. People can't afford gas. Diesel and gas are at record highs right now.
The cost of living is out of reach for most people right now. Groceries are unaffordable. Healthcare has been ripped away from people. And this is what you're posting? Let's zoom in. Also, you see why Donald Trump's panicking when you take a look at the Last Atlas Intel poll, the last poll they did before the midterm Election Day. Also, the last New York Times Siena poll before the midterm. So Atlas Intel, which was the most accurate pollster of 2024, they just released their final poll, and it shows Democrats up 14 on the generic ballot.
That would be a generational wipeout for Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. So if the Atlas Intel plus 14 generic holds, here's what it would look like modeled: Democrats would take 260 House seats and at least 56 Senate seats. This would be a true slaughtering, and this would be a massive, massive rebuke of this criminal regime and all of their disgusting Epstein-class fellow enablers.
Take a look at the latest New York Times Siena poll. They find Democrats taking commanding leads in various Senate races and leading in others and taking control of the Senate in Michigan. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed leads Mike Rogers, 53 to 42 percent. And increasingly, that stunt with Haley Stevens, that traitor, backfiring in her face, backfiring in the face of Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans as we are now seeing more Black voters supporting Dr.
Abdul El-Sayed after that stunt, according to some of the last-minute polling data that's been taken in Texas. James Talarico leads Paxton, 50 to 43 percent, in Maine, Troy Jackson, 51 to 45 percent over Susan Collins. In Ohio, you have Sharon Brown leading John Huston, who's ass Donald Trump keeps on talking about, 49 to 44 percent. In Kansas, where Donald Trump was last night ranting and raving like a lunatic about how we own Greenland and making weird grunting noises and continuing to talk about Qatari Air Force One.
You have Adam Hamilton up 49 percent to Roger Marshall's 44 percent. In Alaska, Mary Peltola leading Dan Sullivan, 48 to 46 percent. And in Iowa, a close one, Bajaj Turek beating Ashley Hinson. Donald Trump was in Iowa yesterday where he said that he would have won the Vietnam War in under 24 hours. It would have been super simple, he said. Maybe even just a week the most, he said, it would have taken him to win the Vietnam War.
Donald Trump was a five-time draft dodger. And I'll also point out what he said in a moment as well. We'll get to that. He also said that Ashley Hinson, the MAGA Republican candidate, lost a lot of weight, and that's one of the reasons that she's able to run for the Senate. He made a bunch of horrible, misogynistic, and disgusting comments during that event. An important thing to focus in on as well with this New York Times Siena poll, as Nate Cohen points out, so the New York Times changed its methodology and weighing process to favor Republicans more and to basically factor in that maybe Republicans don't answer polls the same rate that, let's say, Democratic voters or independents answer polls.
So if you basically use the old methodology without the new weighing process, it would be even more of a wipeout. You would have Dr. Abdul El-Sayed up 16. In Alaska, Democrats would be up 6. In Iowa, Democrats would be up 4. In Kansas, Democrats would be up 10. In Maine, Democrats would be up 5. In Ohio, Democrats would be up 11. And in Texas, Talarico would be up by 9 if you just use the prior methodology.
And why I believe the prior methodology actually undercounts what's going to happen tomorrow. Think about every one of these special elections for the past 18 months that have taken place where Democrats have actually overperformed. Think about all the reporting we've done together. And yes, together, because you and I and all the mightest mighty, we've been in this together. Remember even back in January 2025, you had the Iowa special elections. Then there was the one in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
And then there were special elections in Nebraska. There were special, more special elections in Iowa. There were special elections in Florida. Remember all those special elections that we would cover where Democrats would actually overperform the polling by like 10 to 12 points? So I expect that that trend that we saw will be happening tomorrow, and I think we will see even bigger leads than what's expected. That's my own view, but we will see. Even Rasmussen, you don't really get more MAGA-centric polling than Rasmussen.
They say 34 percent of likely U.S. voters think the country is heading in the right direction. That's it. Only 34 percent of voters. And that is a Trumpy, Trumpy poll. Also, the latest Rasmussen poll has Dr. Abdul El-Sayed also leading Mike Rogers by a significant amount as well. So with all of this taking place, what is Donald Trump doing today? Trump will deliver remarks this afternoon at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to brag about the reflecting pool that he painted blue and attack the so-called vandals who prevented it from being opened when he wanted to have it opened.
And as you know, he framed two-time Olympic canoeist David Hearn and said that he was like a vandal. And they brought a criminal case against the guy, which was dismissed with prejudice because it was based on fabricated evidence. So Donald Trump's closing message is going to be, look at the reflecting pool, look at photos of me and Elvis, look at the Qatari jet. Oh, and by the way, look at all the rich people at Mar-a-Lago. Did you see that deranged party two nights ago at Halloween at Mar-a-Lago, which I said was like a Gatsby Epstein-style Trumpenstein party?
Here are one of the entertainers at Trump's Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago. I mean, we know with all of the stuff that Donald Trump's been saying on the campaign trail, this shouldn't surprise us, but this is actually an accurate—this is a photo, a selfie of some of the entertainer at Trump's Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago. Also, they had live zebras on display for all of Donald Trump's rich friends at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Halloween party. Here's Donald Trump. He was bragging, "All the top Wall Street people, look at all the rich people are here."
Here was Trump at the Halloween party as Americans struggle to afford gasoline and electricity, as Donald Trump's covering up the Epstein files, as we're in never-ending catastrophic wars with Iran, as the war in Ukraine continues to escalate. This is what Donald Trump was doing and spending his time with. So reporters asked Donald Trump on the tarmac yesterday, "Why are you holding an event on the reflecting pool on the last day of the campaign?" And Trump's like, "Because I want to show how beautiful it is."
Here, play this clip.
Holding an event on the reflecting pool on the last day of the campaign.
Just to show how beautiful it is. It's been finished. It was vandalized badly. We have cameras all over the place now for the vandals, but we're going to be holding—I don't know, we might hold it tomorrow or something. But it's finished. It looks beautiful. Has it worked since 1922? It's always leaked terribly, and it works really well now. We had it working well, but it was vandalized. But we did a temporary opening because we had to do the pipes. We wanted to be able to get it open for July 4th, so we were going to close it.
But in the meantime, they vandalized the hell out of it, including the grass.
Now, as I said earlier in this video, during Donald Trump's deranged speech, he gave two speeches yesterday, one in Iowa and one in Kansas. And one of the main lines that he's been using is, even though he's a five-time draft dodger for the Vietnam War, he goes, "I could have won the Vietnam War in a week. They kept bombing forests for years instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City." Ho Chi Minh City was called Saigon during the Vietnam War, and it was the capital of the U.S.
allied South Vietnam. Why would the U.S. bomb its own allies? So yes, I guess it would have been over in a week if the U.S. decided to bomb its own allies. So are you thinking of North Vietnam, Donald? I know you didn't fight in the war because you claimed you had bone spurs five times, but North Vietnam's capital of Hanoi is actually the area that I suppose that you think you're talking about. However, if you want to know a little bit about the dynamic that took place then, had the United States done that, it probably would have drawn in Russia and China into the war, and then you would have had World War III.
Great job. I mean, this is the individual who is involved in this catastrophic war in Iran with Netanyahu. By the way, they transferred dozens and dozens of those Stratotanker airplanes. Those massive refueling jets are currently in Israel right now, preparing for strikes against Iran the day after or within days after the midterms. Also, the remaining interceptor stockpiles in the United States have just been given to Netanyahu, not to Zelensky, who needs them. Netanyahu, who already has the Iron Dome, got more interceptors.
And apparently, Donald Trump and Netanyahu have been talking and talking back and forth about this catastrophic war, and they want to escalate it. Remember, in Israel right now, Gadi Eisencott, the main opposition leader, is now forming a coalition with the Arab bloc, which would oust Benjamin Netanyahu as the prime minister very soon. Netanyahu is desperate. He knows the walls are closing in on him, and there are criminal investigations going to take place there. Donald Trump knows the walls are closing in on him and that it's going to be nonstop oversight, nonstop investigations.
So they're both little cornered freaking genocidal rats. And here is what they're doing. They're hiding cornered rats. You got to always think that they're most dangerous at that time. So here's what Donald Trump said. "I could have won the Vietnam War in a week," he says, "in Ho Chi Minh City. I would have bombed it first. You would have bombed our allies." What are you talking about here? Play this clip.
Guy, I don't know what we do. This stupid, stupid presidents. But we could have won that. I could have won that war in three weeks. I could have won the Vietnam War in a week. You know, they drop whatever the hell that red crap is that they drop to keep dropping it in the forest.
Agent Orange.
Agent Orange, even though it's red. Agent Orange, they drop it in the forest for years and years and years. Instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City and the different places, I would have won that war in one week. I would have won the.
Then we heard from Maggie Mike Johnson at Donald Trump's rallies. He's like, "Donald Trump isn't a sissy. He's not a sissy. He's not a sissy." He doesn't sleep. He's not a sissy. Here, play this clip.
I work almost as hard as this guy. I try to keep up with him. He doesn't sleep at all. You understand that? The man calls me at like 1 o'clock in the morning and also at 5:00 a.m. Mikey, are you sleeping? No, sir. Of course. Sleep is for sissies. We know. Of course not. What's on your mind, Mr. President? I didn't know. Let's talk about whatever. I'm not going to do the impression in front of you. I'm sorry. I didn't plan that.
The hell is going on? Then you had Roger Marshall in Kansas. He's that despicable OBGYN MAGA Republican senator who referred a ton of his patients to debt collection, who didn't even owe that much money, put them all into medical debt, and then had them like arrested. Like, what a sick human being he is. And his closing message to the people of Kansas is, "Glory, glory, hallelujah, God made Trump." I know. I mean, just some utterly sickening stuff. Here, play this clip.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, God made Trump. 30 of these. I don't know how you've done 30 of these. We were watching Elvis earlier. He's got a whole band behind him. He's got singers. You're a one-man show.
Meanwhile, you have Donald Trump installing air defense systems around Mar-a-Lago as he's terrified that Iran is going to kill him. That's what Netanyahu is also putting in his ear. So you have these Avenger surface-to-air missiles following Donald Trump wherever he goes and surrounding Mar-a-Lago right now. Just you could show some B-roll of it. We don't need to actually play it. Show some B-roll of what that looks like. And there are some of the Stratotankers.
I'll just leave you with this right over here. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was asked about Haley Stevens endorsing Mike Rogers, and she gave such an embarrassing interview with Anderson Cooper. I don't even want to play it. She disgusts me. I mean, and she didn't even know what the hell she was talking about. She's an irrelevant freaking awful human being. I mean, good freaking riddance. Good luck with everything, okay? Good luck with everything. I mean, I'm saying that sarcastically. Here's what Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, though.
He goes, "This isn't about me. It's certainly not about freaking Haley Stevens or what's her husband's Jason Turkish, John Turkish, whatever this guy's name is." He goes, "It's about the freaking people in Michigan. Damn it. It's about the people in Michigan." Here's what he has to say.
Yeah, I'm running like I'm 10 points down, but this race was never about me. It was never even about Mike Rogers. It's certainly not about Haley Stevens. This race is about the people in the state of Michigan, the people that I've gotten to get to know in their churches and synagogues, in their basements, in their living rooms, talking about what they need and deserve. We shouldn't have to worry about affording a tank of gas. Shouldn't have to worry about groceries. Shouldn't have to worry about seeing a doctor in the richest, most powerful country in the world. And it's the focus on those issues that I think helped us to succeed in the primary, despite a record $70 million spent against me in that primary.
11 to 1 outspent, but we were able to bring people together around the challenges we all face together, get money out of politics, put money in your pocket, pass Medicare for All. And we're out here talking about those issues in this general election as well. So, you know, I don't take polls very seriously after the primary. I'm a lot more focused on the work we can do, touching every last Michigander so that they know who wants to actually address the challenges in their lives.
Now contrast that to Donald Trump going, "Oh, oh, oh, oh." Here, play this clip.
Oh, baby. Oh, oh, mom. Oh.
And that's what Donald Trump kept on doing at the various speeches that he gave. Also, we learned that two staffers working on the Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers' campaign are registered foreign agents of Israel, and they were the ones working with Rogers and with Haley Stevens, pulling them together and kind of making this all possible. You can't make this stuff up. I mean, it's so utterly sickening and disturbing. I'm not going to play the clips of Haley Stevens. I mean, she's so damn pathetic.
She doesn't even deserve for me to play any clips on her. She's that freaking pathetic and irrelevant. Irrelevant. Irrelevant. Folks, less than 24 hours away from the midterms, it is here. I'm so freaking proud of you. Think back two years ago. It is not a foregone conclusion that we would be here together, shoulder to shoulder, feeling stronger than ever.
