00:00:15

Weil Steuer betrifft ja dein ganzes Leben. Arbeit, Kinder, Partner. Du kannst nichts falsch machen.

00:00:21

Stimmt. Nice. Fühlt sich gar nicht wie Steuern an.

00:00:24

Steuern erledigt? Safe. Mit Wieso Steuer?

00:00:37

We're giving you a lot of show today. We are returning at 2: 00 PM to go live. And What we will have for you this hour is Juju's poll updates in an unusual place. Usually, it's at the end of the show, but we will not be doing a traditional postgame today. So we're going to update the polls here with Juju in a little bit, get to the Juju stuff that also includes in this hour, Juju's Show with Trista Goodfollow. He's taken that over, and I believe that he's got Haley Jones on today. Does he not? So that will be as part of this hour, what Juju is doing with Trista on Good Follow. Please support all the things that Juju and Trista are doing. We will get to that in a second, and we're also going to get to what Bill Simmons has to say about Apparently, Patriot fans are really mad at Tom braided. They don't get mad at Tom braided very often. Tom braided has spent the entirety of his career saying nothing. I believe Tom braided... Does Tom braided not have the equivalent of a last dance? And when I say the equivalent of a last dance.

00:01:46

He has the ability to do a last dance that is different from anyone else's last dance because all it is is 10 parts of him reviewing all the Super Bowl he's been in. It's just 10 reviews of of all the Super Bowl. I'm not kidding you when I say this. Every time Fox does the gangster move of putting under Tom Brady's name seven-time Super Bowl champion, it punches me in the face with, I can't believe that's a thing you can say about somebody. Seven-time Super Bowl champion, but nobody cared about the last dance with Tom braided. Did you guys even know that Tom braided did a last dance? Because it's reviewing all 10 of his Super Bowl with the greatest there's ever been. Zazla is over here, and I can tell from the look on his face, he hasn't seen it, didn't even know it existed, because Tom braided is not interesting. He's publicly not interesting on purpose, but now everyone's mad at him with Patriots Nation, evidently, including Vince Wilfork and Bill Simmons. You guys understand that? Yeah.

00:02:53

I certainly get why Patriots fans are a little mift that the player most associated with their franchise who still has friends in that building. He played with Vrabel. He obviously has a good relationship with Robert Kraft. No one would hold it against him. He's not earning any points for like, Hey, way to go, Tom braided. Way to be totally independent and neutral on the Super Bowl. He's not getting any broadcast points from anybody here. It's a weird thing.

00:03:20

There was a right answer and a wrong answer, and he very much went with the wrong answer. Dwyane Wade was in the building a couple of nights ago and made very clear his affinity for the Miami Heat and how what the Miami Heat are doing right now is unacceptable and they need to get back to championship level. Not only is he the exact same as Tom braided is to the Raiders, to the Jazz, but Wade's also a broadcaster. He's on, what is it, Amazon Prime, whatever it is? And Wade It's telling you, Yeah, the Miami heat.

00:03:46

But which is it? Do we know if Brady's being just neutral and uninteresting or trying to be neutral and uninteresting on purpose, or is it that he might not be rooting for the Patriots and doesn't want to tell the truth? The truth that he's not rooting for them because he didn't like how it is that he exited there, and he's not actually rooting for Drake May and the Patriots because he doesn't want them to win, and he doesn't want to say that. That would be the wrong answer. Or it'd be more wrong than what it is you're saying.

00:04:14

I think it's very possible he's being honest, and that's the part that Patriots fans are pissed at.

00:04:21

Thank God he said something, because I need his name attached to a Super Bowl. I cannot process a Super Bowl without either Patrick Mahomes or Tom braided in the conversation. This is ridiculous. Thank you for injecting yourself into the storyline, Tom. We were actually looking at me and Mike, and the last one to feature neither braided or Mahomes is '22 when the Rans play the bangles. Before that, the last time was '2016 when it was the Cork focus of Peyton Manning and Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton didn't die for that ball. Still hold it against him. But you understand we're at a transition point in the sport. So thank God for saying something because I haven't been able to get into this Super Bowl because it's totally new.

00:05:02

But which do you think is more true? Is he aspiring to neutrality or he doesn't actually want the Patriots to win and doesn't want to say that? So you say he's saying something, but he's saying less than he could say, which if he were to say flatly, Yeah, I don't want them to win for whatever the reason, that's a more wrong answer and also a more interesting answer than the one he gave.

00:05:22

It leads me to believe that he probably doesn't want Drake May to win a championship so quickly because he's very proud of what he over there. His whole thing is like, I left, I won a Super Bowl right away, and I showed them. And now this gives credence to their rebuild.

00:05:37

It's so easy to say that you're rooting for the Patriots. He chose not to say that, which leads me to believe he's being honest.

00:05:46

Lindsay Vaughn is also being honest. The Winter Olympics have started and have been drowned everywhere by Super Bowl and NBA Trade Deadline. Listen to Lindsay Vaughn talking about what it is that she is doing in order to ski in the Olympics. You only get these chances once every four years, and you have to do it in the condition your body is in.

00:06:10

I had a feeling it was bad, but I held out hope until I saw the MRI in front of me.

00:06:18

But I haven't cried. I have not deviated from my plan. I've been determined. And normally in the past, There's always a moment where you break down and you realize the severity of things and that your dreams are slipping through your fingers. But I didn't have that this time. I'm not letting this slip through my fingers. I'm going to do it. End of story. So I'm not letting myself go down that path. I'm not crying. My head is high. I'm standing tall, and I'm going to do my best. Whatever the result is, that's what it is. But I can never say I didn't try.

00:07:04

She's trying with a torn ACL. She's going to try- A ruptured ACL, not torn.

00:07:10

It's completely ruptured from the ligament where the knees and the fibula or tibula, whatever it is, it's completely torn.

00:07:16

It doesn't seem like you'd be able to ski at a high level in the Olympics. The Olympics are filled with stories that are amazing and shock you and are wonderful. She can't win. Do we know what the betting odds on her? It's not it possible to actually medal? Put it on the poll at Lebitard show, is it possible to medal in skiing in the Olympics with a ruptured ACL? Because she, What are you talking about? I get it. The body does not heal on your time frame. The Olympics go on whether you're healthy or not. You get one chance every four years. It seems like an impossible amount of dedication for an athlete. Football players go through a great deal just to get to the 17 Sundays. They're not every four years. The want of these people is crazy, and it doesn't seem safe or smart to have a ruptured ACL and try to ski downhill.

00:08:15

According to Giraffe King's sportsbook, in the Alpine skiing downhill, she has the second shortest odds to win the gold medal at plus 600. The favorite is plus 125. It's a lady from Italy.

00:08:28

You can't be able... She's Are you kidding me? You cannot be able to meddle with a ruptured ACL.

00:08:34

I'm not going to be that guy. Be the guy. Be the guy. I want to hear it. I'm not going to be that guy. It's easier to ski on a ruptured ACL than it is to run. It's because it's the same thing about like, skating. It basically straightens the leg. The only reason she's able to do this is because it's skiing. You have both legs fixed, planted. They both move in unison. I'm not... I am that guy.

00:08:57

So you're expecting her to win still.

00:08:59

I'm not at all impressed. This is easy. It's an easy thing.

00:09:04

I'm proud of you. The reason I'm proud of you is not... There has not been this controversial a take around here since I objected to wrestler Anthony Robles winning for, I don't know, 100 consecutive days, the play of the day on ESPN because he won a wrestling championship and he was missing a part of his lower body. I'm saying that's an advantage, it's a weight advantage to not have your leg in wrestling. We haven't had that controversial of a take around here. That one was so good. Since then. I was so proud of us. That it was easier for him to win because of his upper body weight advantage. We'll get to the him in sound in a second, but Juju is here, and as I mentioned to you, they just put up Anthony Roblitz on the screen, and he's missing his lower body. He doesn't have the legs, but the weight advantage there when you don't have your legs, gives your upper body-Lowman wins, Denny. Well, and you can't get at his legs, and so it's a weight advantage. I didn't think he was ever going to lose play of the day guy because how can you vote against that winning a championship?

00:10:12

I think they retired it. You can't beat it. He's got no legs and he's winning championships. But look how much bigger his upper body is than that guy's.

00:10:19

I'd argue this is an advantage for Lindsay Vawn.

00:10:23

As I did for Anthony Robles, and that's why I'm proud of you, D.

00:10:27

Guys, let me tell you something. One of the greatest joys of my life was when they finally opened the White Castle in my neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona. I lost my mind because I'm so used to eating White Castle at home when I was in New York. Now I can have it all the time. I'm in Phoenix. But when I come to Miami, there's no White Castle. So you know what I do? Go to the freezer aisle because right there, they got the variety pack with all the great White Castle flavor in there. You're getting a lot of slider styles. You're getting classic American cheese, you're getting jalapeno cheese, and if you're a bacon lover, you're getting that new Cheddar Bacon cheese sliders. The classic cheese gives you all the taste of a great American burger, while jalapeno cheese sliders give a serving of spicy to each bite. And the new Cheddar Bacon Cheese, that literally brings home the bacon, folks. With real pieces of bacon in Chedder-flaved cheese. Guys, I know what you're thinking. Your mouth is water. My mouth is watering just reading this. That's completely normal. You can find each of these sliders where?

00:11:24

In the grocery store, in the freezer aisle. Bonus, they're all in the same box. You don't even have to go to the food box. No, it's one variety box. It's got them all in it. Perfect for game day, late nights, or anytime you just want something awesomely, oniony, satisfying, steamy, and unapologetically cheesy. White Castle, Save thy Castle.

Don Levatard. I ain't never met nobody in the world that's done hate on Blues clues. Great nomination. Who don't like Blues clues, bro? If you don't like blues clues, You're a loser. Stugatz. Look, you get one pop print, that's the first clue. You put it in a notebook. Now, what do you do? Blues clothes, blues clothes.

00:14:11

Sit on the chair and think about it.

00:14:12

This is the Don Levatard show with the Stugats.

00:14:22

Juju is here, and I told you later this hour, we will have what he's doing with Trista on Good Follow. What do you want to tell us about it Before we get to Thursday Thunder, Juju, what are people going to get here at the end of this hour?

00:14:35

Me, Trista, and Haley Jones, we just tackled what goes into the mindset of someone who's as smart as she is, as athletic as she is, and she got a new fiancé. I'm a big fan of these women before they even come through the doors. A good follow, so I'm just appreciative to talk to them. You're going to get a good about 12 minutes or so out of us today.

00:14:57

Juju will also be on with us on the livestream. He'll be handling social for us, so make sure to be with us at 2: 00 because we're doing it a little bit differently this hour.

00:15:06

Two, as a staunch Buffalo Bill supporter, one of the princes of Bill's Mafia, that's an interesting It's a crazy choice for you.

00:15:15

What are you doing?

00:15:16

Yeah, man, I grew up, man. I treat my sports fan of them different. You all do how you all want to do from now on. I'm rooting for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. I don't hate nobody in the Super Bowl. I hated John Stockton when I grew I hated him. I hated Reggie Miller. I still don't like Reggie Miller. I don't have that anymore in sports. Out of this matchup, I definitely wouldn't mind Ginger Cud getting him one. But at the same time, I like Stefan, man. Give Stefan one. You feel me? Salute to Cardi B. For clarity purposes, a Bills fan is rooting for the Patriots before Tom Bradius. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Okay.

00:15:54

That's right. That's right. It's Thursday Thunder, and it's presented by DraftKings. Draftkings. The Crown is yours.

00:16:05

Come on, man. You all just heard me what I said. I'm ruling for Stefan for more reasons than one. Stefan D is over 4. 5 catches in that Super Bowl. Or else, Drake may, you already know how that locker room going to be if he don't get them targets. Next leg, I'm going with Kenny Man, Kenneth Walker, The third dribble for one scoring anytime, TD, man. You got to know. I was about to bet on two of them, but I'm like, Oh, DraftKings allowing one. Let's lock it in. Next leg. It's going to be Seattle defense everywhere out there. You might have to dump that thing down at least once or thrice. Trevii Henderson, 0. 5 receptions. Take the over. I'm going with the over. Ju, that one's fired. Hey, what's up? You feel me? Wait a minute.

00:17:01

Who were you referring to when you said Ju there? Me.

00:17:05

I thought it was me.

00:17:06

Okay. I don't approve. And last leg of the Thursday Thunder. I'm going with the beat, though, man. I see my boy on this list. I said, Boy, I can't believe you all trying to go like that. 0. 5 reception yards. I'm going over for Jake bobo, man. Come on. We ride with Jake bobo. The last great white hype. I think he's Caucasian. Don't quote me on that. But we salute the J. Bobo, and we're going to lock that in at DraftKings. You got to know the crown is yours.

00:17:43

Put it on the poll at Levitard Show. Jake bobo, I think he's Caucasian. Don't quote me on that, yes or no. I knew you was going to kill me. Just one word. Just one word. Make it all one word at Levitard Show. You don't forget those.

00:17:59

We only have so many of them. Come on. What was Joe Jureviches? Does one of Miami know?

00:18:04

Do you have a top five for us today, Juju?

00:18:08

Yes, sir, man. With the NFL season winding down, man, I've been locked in to way more NBA action. During that NBA action, no half-time show sometimes stay on the screen. I'm like, Holy moly. Why isn't the news talking about these people more? I got top five half-time shows that deserve More fanfare.

00:18:31

All right. You got to dig it. Any Olai or are we just going top five?

00:18:35

Straight top five. I'm starting off number 5, the Duncan Dog, man. It's a Chihuahua. I don't know if you've seen them. My boy did a 360 the other night. I was like, What?

00:18:50

There's a Chihuahua that does a 360 at Leventaire show. Is it possible that there is a Chihuahua that does a 360? Yes or no?

00:18:59

Number four, Swole bruh in the leather vest on roller skates, that be twirling cis. That brother is strong as hell. I'm talking about he be on a little platform on roller skates, twirling fast as hell with a whole human in his arms.

00:19:16

Is that the same dancing buddy from Drewski or no? Different dancing guy.

00:19:20

It might be. I got to do my research on that one. You might be on to something. He said it was a little too loose. Who's Drewski? Okay, that's right. We don't know. Having that history. Number three. Sis on a handstand while shooting the arrow with her damn toes, scrape through the bull's eye. How do you learn you can do that, let alone in front of thousands? And the league pass. Salute to Sis. Number two, should always be number one, but I feel like Sis got her glow up last year. Folks start saluting Pablo Torre put piece. Mina Kimes, here you go. The Red Panda. Come on, man. Self-explanatory. She's a goal. But the number one thing that needs more fanfare at basketball halftime shows, bruh. The full mascot, head to toe, turned around backwards, over the head, switched straight through the shots, through the nets at half court. Come on, man. How can you do that?

00:20:30

It's a good list. That's amazing. Red Panda was here recently. Was she not?

00:20:34

Unreal at the Watsco Center. I was at the edge of my seat. Have you ever seen that, Red Panda?

00:20:39

I have, yes.

00:20:40

It's awe-inspiring.

00:20:42

It's crazy. It's something that defies explanation.

00:20:45

People would get up and go to the concessions, and I would be the guy and be like, Where are you going? Don't go. You're missing a Hall of Fame act. Hey, Jew, you missed one, though. What? The guy that can put stuff on his chin and balance it on his chin.

00:21:00

Have you seen that guy?

00:21:02

Dan, he put a dresser drawer on his chin. He had a wheelbarrow there, and he just would stand there with it on his chin and just sit there. It's incredible.

00:21:12

How could I forget to go? We should have that guy.

00:21:13

How could I forget to go? We got to have that guy in studio.

00:21:15

You guys got to get me the boxer who's to pay, flew off. We got to do whatever we can to get that person over the next couple of weeks. He has since said he was lying about the bleach making his hair fall. Really? He has said that he had to make something else up on the fly, and that's not how he lost his hair. We do need to get him, though. Before we get to the polls, Juju, quickly, can you tell us anything else that we have not gotten to this week? Because the Whac-amoles around here have made it, so we can't talk Super Bowl. We can't talk much of anything. Because they want to do nothing but talk trade deadline.

00:21:48

Right. I'll move through this quick because I know Gino is circling the food in the kitchen right now. So let me speed this thing up. Things I forgot to say this week, right quick. Number one, bro, I should be able to request a car to bring my Uber food Uber Eats. Stop putting my stuff on a bicycle traveling across town for 30 minutes. I mean, I get it for traffic, but it's 6: 00 in the afternoon. Please put my stuff in the car for one extra dollar.

00:22:14

I am no snitch. The only time I ever do is when, and this happens a lot, I think it's an insurance thing. They say it's a bike. No, they say it's a car, and it's like, Why is this thing going so slow? It's just a little motorized bicycle. Man, I snitch so fast. I'm like, This guy is not driving a car.

00:22:35

I'm with you, brother. Another thing I forgot to say. I did not have Dan caring so much about the radio roll itinerary of the damn Unsportman Night show. My brother was like, Who's going to be there? It's 3: 00 in the morning. How are they going to book guests? Who gives a damn, Dan?

00:22:54

I just feel bad for them. I saw Evan Cohen in a jacket, and I saw him this week, and he's on at 3: 00 in the morning. I just feel bad for them. They're in a warehouse. No one's going to go to Radio Row at 3: 00 in the morning.

00:23:09

Next up. Yes, Zaz, it is interesting that there isn't any Black offensive coordination. It's interesting as hell, ain't it? They used to ruin a rule, but them folks will make a rule, and them boys will still wipe their behind with it, man. That's how privilege work. You got to know that. Happy Black history, though, by the way. Salute.

00:23:29

Michael Fleur just got a job, so look at LA. They can promote internally, and there will be an offensive coordinator there. He works hard.

00:23:36

That's true, Drew.

00:23:38

Yeah.

00:23:39

Also, I want to put a wager to Adnan Virk and David Samson that centers wins more than one award at the Oscars coming up. You got to know. Whatever we got to do.

00:23:50

Polls, poll update here.

00:23:52

Okay. My bad, I forgot about Gino. I'm rummaging to get the pose.

00:23:57

Gino is hovering around the food. He's reven hot right now. Everybody's keeping an eye on him. We got a long day today. We're going to be back at 2: 00 here, live on YouTube.

00:24:06

Yes, sir. Is ESPN trying to kill Wendy? 94% of the audience says, Yes, they are. Is this a legacy day for Pat Reilly? 70% of the audience says, Yes, it is. Will a person wearing a Trust God shirt punch you in the face? 92% of the audience Yes, they will. Is there a Watergate every single day now? 98% of the audience says, Yes, it is. That's right.

00:24:39

It's a pretty high number, especially for that social media platform.

00:24:44

Has anyone blown more sunshine up Pat Reilly's ass than this show? 71% of the audience says, No, they have not.

00:24:53

What's the other show?

00:24:56

Is Prison Glass Dap always the best dap? Free the Guys. 67% of the audience says, Yes, it is. Is Chris Stapp's last name pronounced Porzingis or Porzingish? 87% of the audience says, Porzingis. They're wrong. And last poll, what would you rather have blown up your butt? Smoke or sunshine?

00:25:26

Good show.

00:25:28

75% of the audience It's sunshine, and those are your posts.

00:25:32

That's how you can cure COVID.

00:25:34

Thank you, Juju. You will hear a little more from Juju here in a couple of minutes. Follow him and Trista at Goodfollow. Play that Simmons sound here so that we can just hear how mad Patriot fans are at Tom braided.

00:25:52

I tried not to take it personally when Tom braided said he didn't have a dog in this race for the Super Bowl between Patriots and Seahawks. Even though he played for the Patriots for 20 years, he won six Super Bowl's with the Patriots. There's a statue of Tom braided outside the stadium where the Patriots play. Seems relevant. Patriot fans defended him. First 12 years of his career that he was better than Payton Manning. Deflakate happens. Basically, he gets railroaded. Still don't understand where the evidence was in that. You know who was defending him the whole time? Patriots fans, everyone in New England, fighting for his innocence. Guess he doesn't remember that. Maybe he doesn't remember 2020 when he goes to Tampa, and we even tried to see it from his side. And guess who rooted for him on the box to win a seven Super Bowl. Patriots fans, at least most of them. So now he's on Fox. He owns a piece of the Raiders. Nobody said a single negative thing about him. And it's like he's gone out of his way to make it seem he just passed through for two decades. And the danger of this is that Patriots fans who would have defended him against everybody, who now hate Brazilian supermodels and jiu-jitsu, the Ambient noise makes everything better, right?

00:27:17

I love a good bus. Ambient highway noise.

00:27:20

They hate jiu-jitsu?

00:27:22

Yeah, the implications. The instructor, the remarriage.

00:27:27

First part of the word. Jew, next.

00:27:35

Don Levatard. You got to know I'm a big Columbo guy. Salute to that boy.

00:27:40

Okay, I don't think that's proof. I don't think that's proof. I think that could be I think that's a lie. I don't think that- He said, Salute. I don't think that is evidence. Salute to that boy. It suggests camouflage. It suggests that Juju has no idea what we're talking about, and now he's just googling it. Stugatz.

00:28:00

I'm not googling it. My grandmama stayed in the country. I watched the Braves. I watched Columbo. I watched Matlock. I watched Andy Griffin. Salute to you, sir. But you go to the pin of the box, damn. You tell him, Juju. You take your ass to the pin of the box. You tell him, Juju. You tell him Juju. Back to you, Stu. This is the Dan Levatard show with the Stugats. Welcome back to Good Follow. First of all, I, myself, am Juju Goddy. If you don't know, now you know. We're my co-host, Trista Crick. How you doing?

00:28:45

I'm good, Juju. I'm in the craziness of Radio Row.

00:28:48

We are joined today by H to the Izo, J to the Iso. Haley Jones, man. Welcome to Good Follow. How you doing today, sister? I'm great.

00:29:00

Thank you guys for having me. I'm loving the energy.

00:29:03

Yes, sir, man. You already know. See, I'm here in Atlanta, and here in Atlanta, I've been a Haley Jones fan for a couple of years now, if you get my drift, and we're going to clot that. But we're talking about our arrival right now. How has it been, man? Look, making your debut on Sunday, Philadelphia weekend. How has it been, my sister?

00:29:26

No, I mean, it's been great. Getting to travel to Philly was sick. It was 21,000 people deep, and we heard all of them. And so to get to be there and experience that was insane. And I just know that things like that are only going to get bigger every season. And yeah, there's not much to complain about. I'm in Miami playing basketball with some of the best players in the world, getting to know everybody on a personal level. So it's been really fun so far.

00:29:49

Haley, I'm in the Bay Area right now. You're stomping grounds from Stanford. Compare the environment in Miami and Philly to what it was like to be a Cardinal in that environment.

00:30:02

I mean, Philly was insane. Just being in that Xfinity Arena, I think it was the biggest crowd they've ever had there. So that was crazy. So it was popping. And then Miami is much more of an intimate environment. It's only a thousand-person arena. And so it really feels like every fan is courtside, which is pro and cons with that. You can hear all of their thoughts and opinions. But yeah, Stanford was amazing. I mean, we were a great team, and the crowd was always there. The Bay Area community has always loved women's basketball. I've been with the Valkeries this past season, so I do miss playing in Maples, but I'm enjoying all the new experiences now.

00:30:36

Yeah, man. Look, it might be some new experiences, but we can call these Breeza a little Cardinal-ish, the Breez-ish, the Stanford We got three Cardinals this year so far on the roster. You dig? Just your integration into the unrival, and how fun has it been playing with some of your sisters and some of the new sisters getting to know?

00:30:58

No, seriously, it's so cool to get to be reconnected with them. I feel like that was something so special about all the Stanford teams was just how close that we all were. So to be able to be in Miami here with he now being in the pool with me and getting to reconnect or Cam or Lexie. Atlanta was older than I was, but just still that Stanford connection is there. So it's really cool to see us all on this stage now and having these opportunities and doing the most with it.

00:31:23

Going from maybe a year or so where you had to work your way back into professionalism. And then not only working your way back in, slam dunking at home by being such an important piece on your teams. How has that... How can you share? What can you share in the way of that to the little girl out there that's going through that right now on middle school team.

00:31:46

Yeah, no, I mean, you're right. This past season, the W definitely brought out a new piece of me, and I think showed me how resilient I can be. Playing for Atlanta, the team I was drafted for for two seasons, and then being let So this year and then having a hardship and then ending up being on a team like Dallas and earning a starting role and becoming this impact player, it definitely tested me in ways that I didn't expect to be tested this year. I wasn't expecting it, but I think that the way that I handled it, I'm very proud of. And I think that my people that are close to me are very proud of just the resilience that I showed and willingness to put myself out there and lay it all out on the line, something that I've always dreamed of. To be able to feel that hard work has paid off at the end of the year while still keeping that in the back of my mind, it really can be gone in an instant. So understanding that, it keeps me with a sense of urgency to keep working and get better.

00:32:42

Haley, when you saw you guys go viral, that you and Paige moment, the Coach Coughlanes was drawing up the end of the game. You saw that go viral on Twitter or the threads or Instagram. What was your reaction to that?

00:32:58

I think I have a really hard time just watching my face. My mom still tells me all the time. I'm really bad at controlling my facial expressions. And so it really made me understand how many cameras are on us at any given time. I thought I was just blankly staring at it and understanding what Coach wanted us to run and send us to see those pictures afterwards. And the similarities between me and P or even like, Rick in the side of the video was very entertaining. The amount of people that sent me that meme afterwards, I was like, oh, my God, please stay out of my business. Also, that was my first meme of myself. I was like, Oh, please.

00:33:33

It could have been something better. I've seen folks with Coach drawing Chinese checkers, Rhythmatix. I was looking like, What is it? Yeah. That was classic, man.

00:33:43

No, that was too good.

00:33:45

Moving on to more exciting and permanent things on the horizon for my sister. Or should I say, My sustiance. Oh, I don't put it away. I can't I can't see. Please, no big please. How has that been, man? It's been good.

00:34:05

Yeah. Fiancé life has been great. I feel like I am the fiancé where I love to answer any questions. Oh, my gosh, not the picture. It was such a surprise, and we got to have a surprise party afterwards that he planned. My family was there. It was so awesome. I just can't stop smiling about it still.

00:34:24

Down in Miami, with your boo, amazingly. Congratulations, congratulations, man. How How important is it to have that strength besides you and that softness when it needs to be soft? And just that partner, man, to help you through all of these situations.

00:34:38

Yeah, I think it's everything, especially going through the roller coaster of a season that I had last year in the W interview to have him be my rock through that, but also continue to challenge me, hold me accountable while still giving me that grace in that space to be vulnerable. I think that he's the best partner. He was an athlete He did his own party with himself at Stanford, so he knows how it is. And we were best friends for three years before we even started dating. So we knew each other inside and out. So he's the best partner I could have.

00:35:10

You're looking at an owner right here. Cool owner, part owner. We're not just talking hoops. We're talking business as well, man. How does it feel being in the Major League, pickleball ownership, man?

00:35:24

It's so sick. There's certain accolades or things that you reach for. I I never thought about running a professional team, but when the opportunity was brought my way, I was like, why would I ever say no? And so, I mean, events are great, getting to go and watch it. I'm now like an avid pickleballer on my off days. It's a very serious thing. I I had a whole membership when I was living in Atlanta, so I was playing at this pickleball club. So I love playing, and I love going to the events, and getting to be one of the few women owners alongside another W player like Jules. It's very cool. And just thinking about my life beyond basketball, the the investments I want to have and the other things in business I want to do.

00:36:03

So to me, not a question right now. Are you fired or are you ? No, I'm so good.

00:36:09

I'm like, legit good. I know George has played in some tournaments. I'm a cool amateur player. I do know that the older people who be playing at the club are like, sneaky, very good. I don't like against them. They're very talented. But whenever I take Steven and I to play, we play against each other, but we can't be on the same team. And it's just way too competitive. But yeah, pickleball is something that I now love. It's so fun.

00:36:36

Last week, we talked to Brianna Stewart, and we got this thing where we have the guests this week, which we will ask you to do soon, not Too much pressure. Ask a question to the next guest for the next week.

00:36:49

Here's what Brianna had to ask you.

00:36:53

What's your basketball ick? I feel like we always ask about what's your ick, but what's your basketball ick?

00:37:00

I get the ink all the time from people. So basketball ick, I have a lot. I think when people wear super high socks, that's something I do. I feel like a lot of icks that I have are about the way I used to have game swag. I have no swag. I would tuck my knee pads into my socks. That's an ink. I don't know, things like that. I think that's been for me. I don't really like when people are floppers or they complain to their rest.

00:37:27

Okay, there we go.

00:37:28

That's icky. I think, for getting your play, I do that sometimes. That's an egg. Wow, that's annoying. Yeah, I feel like I have lots.

00:37:38

What question do you have while I feel and bring this out? You feel me? For the next guest that we're going to have next week?

00:37:46

Ask them what's their hidden talent? What's their mediocre superpower? What are they really good at? That's cool.

00:37:56

Damn. I wish I would have asked you that. I promise to God. But I didn't ask her, so we got to let my sister go. You feel me? Hey, fair is fair. Any last words on the way out of here, sis?

00:38:09

No, I appreciate you having me. It's been great.

00:38:30

Welcome back to Good Follow. Today's episode is presented by DraftKings. It's now time for the DraftKings Pick of the Week, presented by DraftKings. And this week, you already know what's going on, man. I got my eyes on the vinyl versus the rose with the highlights of Shaquira Austin. I don't know She unlocks something in Philly because Moreno, she had a great night in Philly, no doubt about it. But man, Shaquira's night went a little bit undernoticed. So watch out for Shaquira as well as my sister, Erika Willer, man. Every now and then, Erika Willer feel like, I don't give a dang what you're talking about. I'm going to the bucket. And I feel like this game right here against the defending champs, I think she going to get up for that. But, Trista, who do you got this week?

00:39:30

I'm looking at the Fantom versus the Mist. You know who we got to always keep our eye on? Ten toes down on Tasha Cloud. Not only does she look good, feel good, but all that leads to her playing good, locking up, hitting shots, pulling up from deep. And then in terms of the Mist, I'm looking at Stuey. She's an MVP caliber player, and you know she can do everything out there. She's baby Kevin Durant, and that's what's keeping the Mist at the top of the standings for me, Juju, it's Stee all day.

00:40:01

It's getting misty. And guess what? This segment was brought to you by DraftKings. The Crown is yours. Sure, sure, sure. And that's it for this week's episode of Goodfollow. Make sure to subscribe to the Goodfollow's YouTube page at Goodfollow and all the socials as well at Goodfollow Show, man.

00:40:50

Mike, you know I have one rule to live by, right?

00:40:52

Don't place parlays on multiple long shots. Don't say a game is one when it hasn't hit triple zero.

00:40:58

Always drink Take your Jägermeister ice cold. That's the rule. Everything else is merely a suggestion.

00:41:03

Everything else?

00:41:05

Everything else.

00:41:06

Wearing clean underwear every day?

00:41:08

Well, that's just a personal decision.

00:41:10

Brushing your teeth?

00:41:10

Obviously smart, but not a rule.

00:41:13

Never PP on an electric fence.

00:41:15

Okay, maybe there are two rules, but the one that is 100% that I insist on completely, Jägermeister must be drank ice cold. Or don't drink it at all. Damn, that's cold. Exactly. You're finally starting to get it.

00:41:27

Drink responsibly. Jägermeister L'Core, 35% alcohol by volume, imported by Mass Jägermeister US, White Plains, New York.
