00:03:28

Welcome to part of my take presented by DraftKings. The crown is yours. Today is Monday, November 3rd, week nine.

00:03:40

What?

00:03:43

Let me. Let me be the first to congratulate the Los Angeles Dodgers on back to back back back back back to back to back back back to back back back. Miguel kiss by a Rojas. Haha. We start in Cincinnati where the Bengals were looking for a win before their bye bye bye as Joey Fatone Flacco was in sync with J.T. chazz Higgins who had to have thought it's gonna be May. Every time a ball was thrown his way on the other side, it was Kyle Manongai Fieri who said welcome to Flavortown. On the menu today is 176 black and blue yards down the gut out of bounds. Except he stayed in bounds, staying in the kitchen. Caleb Williams, Sonoma did it all, catching a touchdown, running all over the field and passing for three scores. The last with time. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick. Ticking down as he found Colson Live laugh Loveland for the game winning scores. The Bears win a thriller and the Bengals, like Reek and Game of Thrones continue to have no D. Bears 47, Bengals 42.

00:04:52

We go now Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Daniel Alex Jones and the Colts are building seven wins as the steel are bending but not collapsing. Pat Fryer was a big boy grilling on the mooth. Big boy grilling on the move. Cooking the Colts like Ikea and making horse meatballs. How sweet it is, Jalen. Warren Buffett cashed in two touchdowns liquidating the Colts defensive line. Calvin and Hobbs Austin made the Colts look like a paper tiger saying see you in the funny papers. Meanwhile, in a touching tribute to the Jim Merce collection, guitars going up for sale. Indianapolis looked like a bunch of overpriced six stringers. Mike Tomlin has these boys on a journey and they're singing don't stop still even in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh 27, Indianapolis 20 we now go.

00:05:42

To Foxborough where Henry Lockwood was on the scene in Foxborough.

00:05:47

Drake Bell May was pip pipped a.

00:05:50

Doodly doing it big to start the.

00:05:51

Game, connecting with Demario Michael Douglas who scored a touchdown in traffic. Michael Appendix was bursting out of his body with touchdownitis connecting with Drizzy Drake London not once, not twice but thrice times on the day for big scores.

00:06:08

Stefan Barty Biggs was going in dry.

00:06:11

And coming out soggy after he parked.

00:06:13

His big Mack truck right in the.

00:06:14

Little end zone and in the fourth quarter the Falcons seemingly tied it up. They just needed Parker Tony Romo to.

00:06:21

Kick the extra point. He missed it. Patriots Escape 24:23 thanks Hank to memes in Houston In Houston we have a problem because Chris JJ Abrams drain hit.

00:06:38

CJ Stroud into darkness as Nico Phil Collins saying you'll be in my heart.

00:06:42

As Demi Ko Moore.

00:06:44

Ryan had to go back to his ex David Bruce Millis Bo Nickelback said look at this pass as he found Cortland by Marriott Sutton who checked in early to the end zone for six woody marks.

00:06:57

Bubba Sparks was rocking everywhere as he set up John Christian Kaimino Ila Emeka.

00:07:04

Ek Kuma Poo Fairbairn that's not a pun, that's just his full name as.

00:07:10

He had five field goals. RJ Harvey Dent lived long enough to.

00:07:14

See himself become the villain as he.

00:07:16

Had the game tying touchdown and what are you talking about? Will Lutz walked off the Texans with.

00:07:20

A game winning field goal.

00:07:21

Broncos 18, Texans 15 thanks memes in Detroit where the lion pride paraded down the field as Jared Goff was degenerate spreading the ball around disregarding the D and ended up scoring with Sam Laporsche De Rossi. But the game turned on Brian Forays as defense Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed pay Peter Uline, Harold Varner as they harass the Lions all afternoon turning them into Garfield without his lasagna. I hate Mondays. I have no idea if that's how Garfield sounds.

00:07:51

I hate Mondays.

00:07:53

I hate Mondays. Aaron Mike Jones was still ripping runs on his way to 78 yards and the big news out of this game though was the Vikings have a quarterback as Ray J. McCarthy is happy he's in. Kim Sota Vikings 27, Lions 24 we.

00:08:11

Go up to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field where the Green Bay Leonardo Di Pacrios found themselves on the problematic side of young love once again. Recovering porn addict Dave Canales had his hands full this week with prepping for Micah Parsons and avoiding pictures of Sydney Sweeney's dress online. Speaking of Sydney Sweeney's dress tease, I think I speak for every American male last week when I say you just got jacked off. Carolina seemed to switch into Tom Cruise control as they continue to force Chuba Elrond Hubbard down our throats while Mike Tirico Downdal is much better on a play by play basis. The Packers Luke Quan Musgrave let his team down and refused to apologize as Dave Portnoy Canales kept him bottled up very unfairly for pretty much the entire first half of the game. The Panthers 16, the Packers 13 huh.

00:09:06

Huh the Carolina Panthers.

00:09:12

13.

00:09:12

We head over to Nashville where Zach was on the scene in Nissan Stadium. Justin G Herbo ert was left with some major PTSD after his pass was intercepted by the Suite Life of Zack and Cody Barton who sings you and.

00:09:26

Me we got the end zone to see so come on down Just me and you in the backfield too so.

00:09:33

Come on down as he strolls into the end zone for six points. But then Justin Bieber Herbert went swag swag on you to Michael Scott Matlock. Oh damn that's a touchdown is so big. That's what she said afterwards. John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith Scott punts the ball 60 yards as the crowd erupts with whenever we go three and out the people always shout special teams take back touchdown for the Titans too.

00:09:56

Da da da da da da da.

00:09:58

To seal the deal. Just in case you forgot, I'm dating Madison Beer. Here's a reminder that I am and she's extremely likable, kind of attractive and great girl.

00:10:07

Herbert rushes into the end zone from 1 yard out.

00:10:10

Chargers 27, Titans 20. Thanks Zach in cans Aaron Buffalo vs Kansas City Max huh.

00:10:19

We head over to Buffalo where Dalton Kinlade was penetrating the Chiefs defense early as he started the score with a 23 yard catch and run. But then, but then Rasheed Rice Rice baby said yo Booker, let's kick it for the extra point. After scoring the Chiefs first touchdown of the game after a good After a good second quarter for the Bills, the Chiefs had a chance to get some points going into the half, but Holly should have gotten into the fucking end zone. Brown was unable to cross the pylon, forcing the Chiefs to settle for a field goal late in the third. Third quarter. Josh Peck Allen told his fullback, hug me, brother, and bring me into the end zone as the bills went up two scores and what would ultimately seal the game. Bills 28, Chiefs 21.

00:11:06

Big booms from Drake and Josh today.

00:11:09

Big we got both brothers. Big booms.

00:11:16

Standing on the corner.

00:11:17

Jameis Winston Sourdough was such a fine sight to see.

00:11:22

It's the Shanahan man cooking up a plan.

00:11:25

It's.

00:11:26

It's a lie of Christian McCaffrey. Come on, Dart.

00:11:32

Just do your part.

00:11:36

Met life. Smells like you gambled on a far.

00:11:42

This is why the NFL, you can never quit it boys. Because week eight it was dog. We said it, we admitted it. You got to say hand up. These games sucked. 12 out of 13 games in week 8 were double digits decided by double digits. The jets being the lone one score game this week and we still have Sunday night football that we're going to recap at the end is it hasn't started yet.

00:12:56

We had nine out of 11 games. One score games. They were awesome games. Crazy games, overtimes. Holy shit.

00:13:05

Comeback player of the week. The NFL.

00:13:07

The NFL.

00:13:08

Roger Goodell did it again right down to the wire. The the Chiefs. Bills delivered as always that that game, it's impossible for that game to be a blowout. Yeah, that game is always good. They could play that game until they're 50 years old. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes and it's going to come down to the final possession.

00:13:23

So let's get into the week nine games and we'll start with the craziest game. It was bears 47, Bengals 42. This game took years off my life. This was the Bears season was essentially over. Joe Flacco with the. With an unreal comeback. You can never count out Joe Flacco. He had 470 yards. The Bears were cruising. They were up 14 with like a little over two minutes left. Joe Flacco goes down, scores a touchdown. They get the on site, they go for two, go down six, get the onside kick, score again, go up by one with 50 seconds left. And then Caleb Williams running the ball. And then Caleb Williams hitting Colston Loveland. It was I. The season was over. The Bears season was about to fall off a cliff, somehow bounce back and won that game. And my biggest takeaway is, holy shit. Are both defenses really, really bad? Because 47, 42 is not an NFL score.

00:14:20

What was that? And also, Ben Johnson just decided to really unleash Caleb Williams at multiple positions today. Yeah, Caleb Williams was. Was like Shohei Ohtani today.

00:14:28

He had 280 yards passing, three touchdowns. He had 53 yards rushing, and he had 22 yards receiving with a touchdown. He caught two balls. Ben Johnson had four different Bears attempt to pass. He emptied the clip. It was. I mean, it was insane. The. The whole game was insane. It was back and forth. And I. I know I've said this. I think this is a third time I've said this this year. But the Bears never win that game, and they. Something is different with Ben Johnson. I'm not going to. I'm not ready to say the Bears are a good team quite yet. I've been holding off because you can't give up 42 points and let Joe Flacco, who threw for the most yards for any quarterback over 40 years old in NFL history, let's go. You can't do that and be like, hey, we're a good team. You know, you just can't. So 5 and 3 is an awesome. It's awesome to be sitting at 5 and 3, but the bears defense needs a lot of work. I said going into this game, it was a Caleb Williams. And this offense must light up. The Bengals, they did just that.

00:15:27

So that part feels good. But more than anything, it's Ben Johnson because that's a game the Bears would lose. The Bears would quit in a. In a dire situation. And they just kept on. They got got off the mat when it's like, how the fuck did this just happen? Absolute stunning that the Bengals came back and took the lead. But Ben Johnson has these guys Believing in something different. They have them believing that they're better than they probably are. Yeah, it was important.

00:15:54

It was a crazy ending. And the tackling by the Bengals was just awful, awful, bad tackling. Great ballsy play call by Ben Johnson. Knowing that you can throw across the middle of the field, trusting that you'll be able to get up there and spike the ball. Because I would actually say that in the past, the Bears have been afraid of finding themselves in that situation where you can even. You get attacked the middle of the field and then something is going to go wrong.

00:16:16

Yep.

00:16:16

And you won't be able to get up there and spike it and you won't be able to kick a field goal. But he trusted. I. I just love how Ben Johnson just. He must watch every guy on the practice field over summer, like during training camp and just seeing, okay, that guy can throw the ball pretty good. Yeah, that guy can throw the ball pretty.

00:16:31

Dude, he.

00:16:32

He just.

00:16:33

Mets threw a laser.

00:16:35

Lefty. Yeah, a lefty laser. But yeah, he watches every guy and he's like, okay, I can use that guy for a play. Yeah, DJ Moore, we're gonna have you throw the ball too. It was. It was an awesome game to watch, and it was actually the perfect ending because I wanted Joe Flacco to play well and I wanted the Bears to win. And so it really. It checked all the boxes. How did the Bengals figure out how to recover an onside kick? Because the Bengals, given their defense, they should just onside kick every single time.

00:17:01

Well, I think that's more the Bears had. So bad for the Bears, the defense, obviously, it's. It's been ravaged by injury, but also lacking of dudes. They did actually turn the. Take the ball away a bunch. And it almost, you know, there was that return that was actually came all the way back. That. That could have been the game right there. The special teams for the Bears was an absolute debacle. I like to win a game like this where you let up the opening kickoff return for a touchdown. The other team blocks the field goal on you and they recover an onside kick. It. It hasn't happened in like 20 years. The Bengals did everything right on special teams. Bears did everything wrong. But yeah, that was. You don't see on. I mean, Bears just didn't go for the ball. Yeah. It just was just like dribbling around and hit everyone's leg.

00:17:47

Yeah. If I was the Bengals, I would do that every single time I would kick off because it's not going to be any worse than Your defense, you might as well just try to get the ball back. And also shout out to Zach Taylor. I maybe the worst. Maybe the worst challenge. I don't want to say of all time. Well, because there have been some bad challenges. This is definitely the worst challenge of the year.

00:18:05

It was revenge for the John Fox when he was the Bears head coach in 2017. He did the same thing, just reverse where he tried to challenge. I think it was Benny Cunningham touchdown. He tried to challenge it being a. He was ruled down at the two. Tried to challenge it, that he scored. They went and looked and they're like, actually, it's a touchback.

00:18:23

Yeah.

00:18:23

So it has happened before. But yeah, Zach Taylor tried to challenge the. The ruling on the field, and then having it be a touchdown was a pretty bad chance.

00:18:33

Yeah. So he. It was DJ Moore, right? DJ Moore going in the end zone. Zach Taylor saw him lose the ball at the goal line. I think everybody watching was like, holy, did he just fumble that through the end zone? Is that going to be a touchback? I think the announcer said that might be a safety that would. That would rock if that's what the ruling was. But Zach Taylor was like, I think I could challenge this and get this turned into a touchback. Then they saw, oh, no, he actually crossed the goal line. So that's the. The cell phone of the year.

00:18:56

There was no way it was going to be a touchback unless it was a touchdown first, which makes no sense because it couldn't be a touchback if it was a touchdown first. When you watch the replay, you're like, if he fumbled, then you're admitting that he crossed the line because he had the ball crossing the line.

00:19:09

Yeah, he did.

00:19:10

Then he fumbled.

00:19:11

I think. I think they were hoping that he fumbled as he was reaching the ball.

00:19:14

Out, but it wasn't even close.

00:19:15

It looked like, I don't know. Then the announcer said, like, oh, the. The defender's forearm might have been pinning the ball to his hand. I don't know about all that. It was a bad challenge. Bad job by Zach Taylor.

00:19:24

Also shout out Kyle Manangai because he was insane. 176 yards, ran so hard. One of those guys that like this Ryan Poles got a lot of shit for not getting a running back in the draft till very, very late out of Rutgers. He. DeAndre Swift was hurt, and he's just one of those guys. His legs just never stop moving.

00:19:43

Sean. Oh, man.

00:19:44

Just love watching him run. And the Bears credit also to Ryan Poles. The Bears interior offensive line has been really, really good. The tackle position is still, or at least Theo Benedict is, is, is a problem. But in terms of the Bears interior offensive line, which we put a lot of money into, Tuney, Dahlman and Jackson, they all had zero pressures allowed, zero hits, zero hurries, and they ran the ball for 283 yards on the ground. So bully ball. I don't know.

00:20:13

To your point about Cal. Man guy. Yeah. How you pronounce his name. Man guy. He. When you have a running back with dreads that runs physically, it looks so much better.

00:20:22

Yeah.

00:20:23

Than if you have a guy with.

00:20:23

Short hair and he was physical as all hell. And it was. You could see it like they. And I'm listen, I know there's going to be a lot of people being like, hey, it's the Bengals. I agree. I said before the game I was like, the Bears offense has to go off because it's the Bengals defense. So I'm not going to sit here and be like the Bears offense is completely solved and everything's working because it's the Bengals defense. But going into this game, it's like you have to put up big time points, big time yards, otherwise there's bigger problems. Those were put to rest for a week. And again, 5 and 3, the Gateway. I said don't be surprised. The Bears are 5 and 4, 6 and 3 After week 10, the Gateway is still wide open and they're finding it really just comes down to like the culture has shifted with Ben Johnson where the team looks like they're not going to give up in situations where they would have given up in the past.

00:21:15

Ben Johnson said, don't, don't apologize for a win in this.

00:21:18

Never.

00:21:18

You never apologize.

00:21:19

There's three wins this year that are officially. I've said it. Three wins that are. The Bears never win this game. It was the Raiders game, the commander's game in this game. Bears never win those games.

00:21:29

5 and 3 looks good too. Just like how long have you looked at, just looked at those numbers. It's the five dash. Three.

00:21:35

It looks great.

00:21:36

Looks pretty good.

00:21:37

It's. There's a lot after the. So the Bears have the Giants next week and then it, the, the schedule gets very difficult because it's like two against the packers, two against the Lions, Eagles, Steelers, Niners, lot of hard games. But my whole plan was if they can get 6 and 3 or 5 and 4, they'll at least have a puncher's chance to maybe get into a playoff berth if they can tread water in the back half of the schedule. So that's open still.

00:22:02

And right now you're still in the window of C.J. gardner Johnson being happy. Yeah, he had a pretty good game today. I know the secondary. He got a sack. I think he had, like, I think he. Yeah, he had a sack for sure today. But he looked good. He looked like he was going to be a good addition to the team. And as long as you guys win these games, that's really. That's a gateway game for keeping him happy and, and making sure that he still wants to be on the team.

00:22:24

Season was over. It would have been the end of the season.

00:22:27

Yeah.

00:22:27

Like, it would have been a game that ended the season.

00:22:29

If you lose that game and Bengals fans are going through it right now. I saw, I love the. The customized jerseys that. That sad franchises get for the quarterbacks just to try to, like, put a smile on people's face at a game. I saw a Flaco jersey that was F, L, A, C, C, E, A, U, X. Like the burrow.

00:22:48

But.

00:22:49

But for flat.

00:22:50

I like that.

00:22:50

Yeah, I like that pretty good jersey because, like, I've. I've rooted for some really bad teams. You have to have jerseys that are so funny and bad that it at least for an instant, makes your friends happy. When you're at a game together, it's like, yeah, that's. That's a. That's a creative jersey.

00:23:05

I'm also addicted to LSU fans because they've been in the news recently with, you know, the governor and firing Brian Kelly. I love. I saw someone. I think it was someone tweeting it, like getting mad at someone, and they had. They told him to go away and they had to spell it that way. Like, where it's like you. They just have to keep doing the E, A, U, X. Yeah. Even in the situations where they're upset and like, go away. Yeah. The Bengals, though, this is tough. They. They're the first team since 1960s to lose back to back games where they scored 38 plus six times in the last two years. They've scored 30 plus points and lost a game.

00:23:44

I was gonna say they didn't do that last year.

00:23:46

Not. Back to back games, 38 plus. Okay. Back to back games, 38 plus. They had chase Brown afterwards, he said, finish the fucking game. Just end it. Just end the fucking game. Talking about the defense. Jamar Chase said one fucking stop when he was walking up the tunnel. I don't know. Like, it's so. It's got to be so frustrating.

00:24:06

Very frustrating.

00:24:07

Because you, you, you. Your Offense is electric. And you have T. Higgins made an unreal catch today. That, that touchdown catch he had.

00:24:15

Yeah.

00:24:15

Was insane. And they could move the ball so well and their defense can. It looks like a big 12 D. A bad big 12 defense.

00:24:23

Yeah. Flacco had that. That one bad pick at the end of the game, and it was kind of up how he had to sprint back so far.

00:24:30

I don't.

00:24:31

I don't know why. He ran like he saw. He saw Montez sweat coming and he was just like, I'm going to run in a straight. I'm not going to try to make a tackle. I'm just doing wind sprints right now, trying to stay in shape.

00:24:39

470 yards.

00:24:41

What else can you expect from Flacco? Four touchdowns, two picks. Yeah, bad picks. I get that. But if. If Joe Flacco was throwing for 470 yards. That's not on Joe.

00:24:52

Yeah.

00:24:52

That he lost this game.

00:24:53

Can I do a couple quick blind resumes for you? And again, I'm. I'm. I'm not. I'm not diluting myself to think that the Bears are a really good team, but I just want to throw out a blind resume. Player one, one receiving, touchdown. Player two, zero receiving, touchdown.

00:25:12

I think player one might be Colson Loveland. And I think player two might be Tyler Warren.

00:25:17

No.

00:25:17

Oh, okay.

00:25:18

Player one is Caleb Williams. Player two is Matthew Golden.

00:25:21

Okay.

00:25:22

First round pick for the Packers. All right. That's wide receiver.

00:25:24

Did Tyler Warren have a receiving touchdown today?

00:25:27

I don't think he had one today, but I do have a. I think.

00:25:29

That might be a double blind resume.

00:25:30

I do have a blind resume as well. Last three games, 12 receptions, 180 yards, two touchdowns. And player two, 13 receptions, 148 yards, one touchdown. That is Colson Loveland and Tyler Warren, which I actually haven't been taking place. I haven't been engaging in that discourse because it is. They're both rookies, and I think they're both very good. But I'm very happy to see Colson Loveland get more targets, red zone, all that kind of stuff. Because you drafted him 10th overall, you got to use him.

00:25:59

Yeah, that was an awesome reception that he had where he just bounced off again, bad tackle.

00:26:03

I couldn't believe he kept on going because it was all. He didn't really want to have it be a kick again. Cairo Santos. Where the hell is Jake Moody? Bring him back.

00:26:09

Kyra Santos did not look confident going into that kick either. I don't know if he has a Tick. If that's a thing that he's got. I know. I had a kicker last year that had a tick.

00:26:17

Yeah.

00:26:17

It's not that you don't have the most confidence in your guy if his left eye is twitching.

00:26:21

Yeah. I have to give one last shout out to shy sports bums on Twitter. Probably the most disgusting thing I've seen in quite some time. Bears fans, they did a Cincinnati Chicago handshake where it was a shot of Malort mixed with Skyline Chili.

00:26:41

Yeah.

00:26:41

You are a hero, my friend. Because I would. I almost puked watching this video.

00:26:47

Yeah.

00:26:47

So when did they credit to you? Man, you got a stomach that is stronger than any. Any man alive. Because somebody tweeted for the game.

00:26:54

Somebody tweeted that at me at like 10:30 this morning. Not the video, but the idea of mixing Skyline and Mallord. And I thought about it and as. As a man who has grown to love both Malort and Skyline, I. I think this plays.

00:27:07

Yeah. I mean, you, like, you. You basically are saying, I'm stronger than every person alive because this is what I'm attempting to do. That. That, to me, combining Malorton, Skyline Chile is more impressive than like jumping out of an airplane or what Alex Honnold does. Free soloing. Yeah, that's way more impressive.

00:27:28

I would do it. I would. I think that the, the fat from the Skyline would cut the. The gasoline flavor from the Malort just a little bit.

00:27:35

Oh.

00:27:35

The cinnamon and. And wormwood. I think that could work together nicely.

00:27:40

Oh. But yeah, good. I mean, great game. I was going to be big time doom and gloom if they had lost that game. Hank, you were. You're in your Amish costume. You're. You were Amish for the Amish for Halloween. I saw a screenshot of you, of your face when all that was going down. You weren't happy, but you were more like, wow, this is going to be something I couldn't.

00:28:02

I mean, the onside kick was. Was stunning because.

00:28:05

Because it's also a delayed. I. I think I said out loud 100 times on the stream, just recover the onside kick. Just recover the onside kick. And then when they did, it was like, how could this be happening? How could this be happening? And it almost happened, but you got.

00:28:19

You got it done.

00:28:20

Got it done.

00:28:21

That's it.

00:28:21

Got it done. 5, 5 and 3. Looks good. All right, next game we have the Vikings 27, Lions 24. JJ McCarthy baller back as we.

00:28:34

As we predicted, JJ McCarthy stud.

00:28:37

This was a lot of the Vikings defense too. They Were awesome today. They completely shut down the Lions run game. They were all over Jared Goff. They had five sacks, 30 QB pressures, and David Montgomery and Jameer Gibbs had 65 total rushing yards, which is, you don't see that usually from the Lions. So credit to whatever Brian Flores did to fix it because they were. Remember was it 10 days ago when they got absolutely gashed by the Chargers. They look like a different team. And J.J. mcCarthy, winner, winner, third and third and five with a minute and 40 left. A lot of if you don't trust your quarterback, you're running the ball and punting. They trusted JJ McCarthy and he threw a perfect back shoulder pass to Naylor. Maybe that's, that's a good sign.

00:29:25

They did.

00:29:26

Very good sign.

00:29:26

They did a very good job protecting him too. Yeah, like they gave him a nice clean pocket a lot and he was, he was making the most of it. He looked good today. I've. I've had my doubts about JJ saying like, yeah, I was in the group people that said he had one good quarter until now. And then the whole injury thing was kind of strange. But based on what you saw today, if you're a Vikings fan going into today, you know that deep down you were like, what if the haters are right? Yeah, what if, what if he's not the guy? What if we got rid of two very good quarterbacks and we now have a second year quarterback that is being treated with baby gloves and he might just not be good? You were kind of a little bit afraid of that going to this game. And he made you feel really good about yourself because he looked very, very good today.

00:30:09

He started now. Three games in the NFL, two wins and both wins road divisional games. That's pretty impressive. I do have a blind resume for J.J. mcCarthy. You ready for this? Everyone listening. Hank, you ready for this? I want you to Pick Hank. Player 1, 143 yards passing, two touchdowns, one interception and one rushing touchdown in a 27:24 win. Player 2, 143 yards passing, two touchdowns passing, one interception, one touchdown running in a 27:24 win.

00:30:48

Is. It's the same.

00:30:50

It's the exact same stat line. And that's both of J.J. mcCarthy's wins. Isn't that fucking crazy?

00:30:55

It is crazy.

00:30:56

Exact same yardage, exact same touchdown, interception, rushing, a touchdown, exact same final score. Wow.

00:31:02

I would take this the first one.

00:31:05

First one, yeah, that was the one.

00:31:07

Against the Bears because I, I thought.

00:31:09

Today he looked a lot better than that one.

00:31:12

That was the clutch factor in the first win.

00:31:14

Yeah.

00:31:15

He had a higher clutch.

00:31:16

I played myself.

00:31:16

Yeah.

00:31:17

Like, 143 yards is not a lot, but if you watch the game, you thought, he looks like he is more than capable of being a starting quarterback in this league.

00:31:24

And you saw what, like, Kevin o' Connell wants to do is they want to run the ball. They ran the ball down the Lion's throat.

00:31:30

Yep.

00:31:30

They had 143 yards or 142 yards rushing. Aaron Jones being back is big for them, and that's. That's clearly the recipe. But I was. Again, I feel like not many teams can make the Lions offense look like they look today. And they just looked panicked and out of sorts because they were not able to run the ball. And Jared Goff didn't have a lot of time. And that's all credit to the Vikings defense.

00:31:54

The Vikings defense and their offensive line was. Was great today.

00:31:57

Yeah. Do you think so, Dan. Dan Campbell did take full ownership, which I liked. He said we did everything we needed to do to lose that game. I didn't have them ready coming out of the buy. That's. That's got to be one of the most painful things for Dan Campbell to have to say out loud. I didn't have them ready coming out of the buy because that's something he prides himself on. Having him having the boys ready out.

00:32:18

Of a. I think the bye week is bad for Dan Campbell, like, being away from football for that long.

00:32:23

Do you think he's not healthy next year? He could be like, no buy week for us.

00:32:26

Yeah. He could just be like, I, well, I'm going to show up to the office. I'm going to treat it like it's a game week. It's up to you guys. I can't force you to. And then he just takes notes on everyone that doesn't show up. I can see him doing that. So after the buy. Yeah. Dan Campbell is now 2, 2 and 1.

00:32:41

Maybe he requests. Maybe he requests for his schedule the bye week to be. They play Monday night, then they play Thursday.

00:32:49

Yeah.

00:32:50

So the. The least amount of buy time. Yeah, that's probably what he's gonna do.

00:32:53

He might do that. I think actually being away from the game, it's a negative.

00:32:57

It fucked him up.

00:32:58

Yeah.

00:32:58

It. Him up. I. Yeah. I don't know what to make of this. Was. There was a few games today where it's like, oh, shit. Yeah, I forgot the NFL, anyone can win any week. And the Vikings were. I mean, we're going to talk about the Panthers but there was some big time doggies who won outright.

00:33:14

I think the NFC north is going to be very interesting.

00:33:17

NFC north is. Yeah, it is.

00:33:20

I don't think it's the juggernauts that it was last year, but I think it's going to be more interesting.

00:33:23

It's. It's basically like the. The discourse going on right now. The sec, where the SEC is like, it's not that we're down, it's that we're just so good that we beat up each other.

00:33:35

Yeah, we beat each other up.

00:33:35

Yeah.

00:33:36

Yeah. That was the old NFC beast.

00:33:37

Yeah.

00:33:38

Yep.

00:33:38

Yeah. But it is you. Every time you think like, oh, the Lions are way better than everyone. The packers are way better than everyone. You have a week like this and it comes back to earth.

00:33:47

This is a big win.

00:33:48

Yeah.

00:33:48

Huge, huge win.

00:33:49

Yeah. Because the Vikings were kind of on that teetering. Is their season going to be a wash at. If they went. If they dropped to 3 and 5 now they have the Ravens next week, which will be interesting.

00:34:00

Yeah. I still don't know what to make of the Ravens right now.

00:34:03

Their playoffs.

00:34:04

We'll see.

00:34:04

Just say they're a playoff.

00:34:05

They. I mean, they are.

00:34:06

They should.

00:34:07

They got to be perfect. They got to be perfect.

00:34:09

They got to be perfect. But they're a playoff team. We just got to get ahead of it and say they're a playoff team.

00:34:14

We also should have paid attention that on the NFL Network they did their. Their picks for this game and it was 100% Detroit Lions. Yeah, 100%.

00:34:23

Do you think we should walk back the soft benching now, or do we think maybe it was still a soft benching and the soft. I think we should double down. I. The soft benching. It worked.

00:34:32

It worked. Yeah. No, I'm a soft benching guy now. Like, it's not when I say that he got soft benched. Listen, I'm going to trust what KOC does. He's a quarterback whisperer. He soft benched and he was right next. I mean, when you soft bench your quarterback, there's a lot of time to whisper to your quarterback next to you on the sidelines.

00:34:48

Yeah. Agreed. Okay, next up, Colts or. Sorry. Steelers 27, Colts 20. This was another one. Mike Tomlin still got it. They had a funeral in the parking lot. Steelers fans did for their defense before the game. It. If you. If you judged what the Steelers have been in the last few weeks, especially Sunday Night Football last week against the packers in the second half, their defense is atrocious. The Colts are The best offense going into this week were the best offense in the NFL. And the exact opposite happened because the Steelers defense was absolutely lights out.

00:35:25

And turnovers.

00:35:26

Six, six takeaways. The Colts had four turnovers through eight weeks and then they had six today.

00:35:34

Yeah. Yeah. The Steelers defense looked alive today and there's plenty of blame to go around. But I think it all has to start with Seth.

00:35:40

Yeah.

00:35:41

For the colts. Max, I DM'd you the video.

00:35:44

By the way. We say Rip Seth's grandfather. He lost his grandfather today.

00:35:47

I'm sorry to hear that, Seth. Very sorry to hear that. But this, this is unrelated to the grandfather. Seth does the videos every week. This is our Colts.

00:35:54

He.

00:35:55

He makes a unique theme song for each opponent. We love Seth and we love Seth. We listen. My four year old son Chris was a huge Seth fan until this video came out and now he is not allowed to watch him anymore because this is the.

00:36:08

Well, I disagree.

00:36:09

Well, let's see, let's see. This is the Colts Week 9 anthem going into the Steelers game. Max, can you play it? This is our Colts. This is our team. We bleed blue. This is our Colts. Whether win or lose, we love them for the shoe.

00:36:34

Beat the Steelers.

00:36:35

Let's break Rogers back. This is our team. Go cold.

00:36:43

Yeah.

00:36:44

So yeah, paral advisory on that. We should have slapped that on there explicit. Let's break Roger's back is what he said. And then yeah, he got some backlash for that and he issued an apology video matching Savage.

00:36:56

Yeah, dude. Guys can't be Savage anymore.

00:36:58

Click on the tweet. The his own reply to it. He apologizes.

00:37:02

Let's hear his dude was being savage.

00:37:06

Hey guys, Seth here. I just want to address something that I have gotten comments about from today's cult video. I just want to set the record straight. I do not want Aaron Rodgers to get hurt. I do not condone violence. I appreciate. I mean we were just being savage just to be fun. I'm sorry if it came in the wrong, if you guys took it the wrong way.

00:37:24

Yep.

00:37:25

But go Colts. Hope you guys understand. I was. I was just being savage. Didn't want to promote violence like that. So I appreciate, appreciate your understanding and I hope you guys are still fans of me. Love you guys. And go Colts. We are guys can't be Savages anymore.

00:37:40

It's crazy.

00:37:41

But here's the thing.

00:37:42

He literally was. He was being savage.

00:37:44

He's being savage and he was. But you don't apologize for being a savage. That's where, that's where I have Well.

00:37:50

I think this might have been his first time getting a little backlash, and it's probably a little scary because people didn't realize that he had savage in him.

00:37:57

Yeah, but you don't bend the knee to the mob.

00:37:59

Someone.

00:37:59

The mob went out for their pound of flesh, and, Seth, you should have just said, fuck that. I'm a savage.

00:38:05

Yeah, I'm Seth. He. When. When he released this on Friday night, I. I quote to you, I said, guys just can't be savage anymore. Like, this. This is. This is bullshit. And someone aptly pointed out. Imagine if I had to reply, if I had to apologize for every time I was savage about Aaron Rodgers, I think I would. The show would have just been me apologizing.

00:38:24

Apologizing makes you look weak, Seth. You can't do that. You got to stand by your take. You wanted to break his back, and then you took it back, and gu. You didn't break Aaron Rogers back.

00:38:32

Being savage is what guys got to do sometimes. All right? Like, we got to be able to talk. We got to be savage. We should just do that. Like. Like. Zach, say something Savage real quick. Let's get Savage. No, that's not.

00:38:46

No.

00:38:47

Who the Bucks playing next week? Yeah.

00:38:49

Kick him in the nuts. There we go.

00:38:50

Who the Bucks playing next?

00:38:51

Zach, don't be too savage.

00:38:52

Who the Bucks playing next week?

00:38:53

Don't be too Savage.

00:38:54

The Patriots. Oh, get Savage, Zach. It's a gentleman's game. Get Savage. It's a gentleman's game. Hank, you get Savage. Show them how it's done. By the way, this is all under guise of Savage, so you're allowed to say whatever you want.

00:39:08

We call this.

00:39:08

Yeah.

00:39:08

Savage Garden on the show.

00:39:10

All right, so let's decapitate Baker Mayfield.

00:39:12

There you go. That was so savage of him. Zach.

00:39:17

That'S a silly hat.

00:39:18

Oh, that can't get Savage.

00:39:20

Oh, no, no. He did. You look, dude. You look silly.

00:39:23

Max. Max lives 99 of his life in Savage mode.

00:39:28

I hope Patrick Mahomes breaks both his ankles.

00:39:30

That was savage of you, dude. Listen. And when someone listens back to that and gets mad, guess what? We were just being. We were having our Savage segment. Okay, can we play Seth's apology again? I just love how he's like, I was just trying to be savage.

00:39:44

Being savage.

00:39:44

Just being. We're just being savage.

00:39:47

I need to work on the camera angle. I got comments about from today's Cult video. I just want to set the record straight. I do not want Aaron Rodgers to get hurt. I do not condone Violence. I appreciate. I mean, we were just being savage just to be fun. Sorry if it came in the wrong, if you guys took it the wrong way, but go Colts. Hope you guys understand. I was, I was just being savage. Didn't want to promote finance like that. So I appreciate, appreciate your understanding and I hope you guys are still fans of me. Love you guys. And go Colts 100.

00:40:18

Still fans of Seth and sorry for his loss. And dude, you were savage.

00:40:22

You should not have. Imagine being DeForest Buckner and you, you watch the Pump up video as you always do on Fridays and you're ready to run through a brick wall for Seth. You're ready to run through Aaron Rodgers spine and then he apologizes for it later. Talked about taking the wind out of your sails.

00:40:37

No. Yeah. You can't.

00:40:38

That's the lesson that he has to learn is like, dude, you're a savage. That's how God made you. You don't need to walk it back.

00:40:44

How nervous do you think Seth was that Aaron, if Aaron Rodgers got hurt.

00:40:49

I mean that would have been.

00:40:50

That would have been so savage.

00:40:51

Savage.

00:40:51

That would have been so savage.

00:40:53

Super savage. Yeah.

00:40:54

Yeah. But credit to the Steelers defense. Peyton Wilson, by the way, felt like he was everywhere. TJ Watt had his old pop back, had a strip sack. Are we concerned at all that Daniel Jones. This was a Daniel Jones Giants performance.

00:41:11

Yeah, I saw a bunch of. A bunch of the memes of him turning back, anamorphing back into Daniel Jones. I think Daniel Jones is now good. Daniel Jones, I think he had. He had a bad game.

00:41:23

Okay.

00:41:23

I'm okay. Listen. Better, worse quarterbacks than him and better quarterbacks. Actually a lot of quarterbacks have struggled running into the Pittsburgh Steelers at the wrong time.

00:41:32

That's true.

00:41:33

That's what I think.

00:41:33

This was this.

00:41:34

They were desperate. Steelers were desperate today.

00:41:36

Very desperate. Mike Tomlin always wins these type of games. It also I said this on Friday. This was the Colts first time on natural grass outdoors. The elements maybe doesn't look as great. It was more also the Steelers did. Had a great game plan. They did not let Jonathan Taylor get going at all and made Daniel Jones be a pocket passer and it didn't work out.

00:42:02

And they also just constantly threw to tight ends. Yeah, they had. They had every tight end involved in this.

00:42:07

The Steelers offense is not fixed in any way. If you look at this score of this game, this was a lot of the Steelers defense finally winning them a game where they got short fields because I think Aaron Rodgers was still his. His Air yardage, like the pass, I think it's average. It was like 2.7 yards. So it's still a lot of dump offs, a lot of short throws. But if Aaron Rodgers, if he has a really good defense, that is a dangerous team. So you just got to still be a really good defense. How much credit do we give Jalen Ramsey who I apparently stood up in front of the team on Saturday night and gave a speech and Rogers said afterward he felt something changed last night after Ramsey's speech.

00:42:49

Yeah, I mean, Rogers might have been peaking at that very moment and everything kind of came together. I think you got to give Ramsey a lot of credit. I think somebody had to do it.

00:42:58

Yeah, he, I mean that he changed the whole course of the Steelers season.

00:43:02

There have been some great speeches out there and I think you have to. We're going to monitor the Steelers moving forward. Pre speech and post speech.

00:43:08

Yes. Who do the Colts have next week? Let's play a Whose line is it anyway with DraftKings?

00:43:13

The Colts have the Falcons.

00:43:16

The Falcons in Berlin.

00:43:18

In Berlin, Germany.

00:43:20

Falcons desperate. Wait, don't, don't. I'm not looking. I'm going to say Colts minus four.

00:43:28

I'm going to say Colts minus three, minus three.

00:43:34

It's Colts minus six and a half. Draft King sportsbook.

00:43:37

Okay. All right.

00:43:38

Sunday at 8:30 metrics. Our power rankings tell us the Colts.

00:43:43

Yeah. No, no, Falcons. Yeah, we thought it would be shorter. You got to take the six and a half.

00:43:51

No, I'm saying like, I like The Colts -6½.

00:43:55

But you, you said the line is going to be.

00:43:57

Yeah, yeah. So we're getting. No. Oh, yeah, you're right. You're right.

00:44:00

Other way.

00:44:01

Yep, you're right. Gotta take the Falcon. Gotta take the Falcons.

00:44:03

Heavy.

00:44:04

Yeah, it's my play of the week, actually.

00:44:07

Okay, next game we have the Broncos and Texans.

00:44:12

By the way, side note.

00:44:14

Yeah.

00:44:14

It's been so nice waking up on Sunday and not having a game early.

00:44:17

We're back to it.

00:44:18

It sucks.

00:44:19

We're back to it. I know. It's been. It has been nice. Broncos 18, Texans 15. Is Bo Nix just a better version of Tim Tebow? Whoa.

00:44:31

Yeah.

00:44:32

I'm saying Tim Tebow for the Broncos was awesome. Tebow time was incredible. I'm saying better version.

00:44:39

I've been saying this since he started.

00:44:40

Bonix sucked at the start of this game. He was 1 for 7.3 yards interception halfway through the second quarter. Bonix in the fourth quarter just was like, oh, yeah, I forgot. I'm Bo Nix went 9 for 1676 yards passing, a touchdown, 36 yards rushing, the 25 yard scramble which put them in field goal range. Bonix just needs to warm up. He just needs to get, he needs to have a little back against the wall moment before he can be like, yeah, you know what? I got to start being Bo Nix again.

00:45:10

Yeah, I am a Bo Lever. But a lot of that is the, the Tebow factor where it's yes, he, he plays like shit. He makes you scratch your head and then you watch him at the end of the game and you're like, this guy's a winner and he's clutch as. And that's what Bo Nix does now. Yeah, part of it had to do with the fact that he was playing against a really, really good defense.

00:45:27

Really good.

00:45:27

The Texans defense is awesome. The Broncos defense is awesome. I was so happy the way this shook out because it's exactly how I envisioned this game going 18 to 15. And when C.J. stroud got hurt and Mills Mafia came back in the game, Davis Mills, I, it felt like it was going to be a tough, tough ask for the Texans to win that game. But yeah, two really good defenses going out. So I'm not going to fault Bo Nicks too much for wait until the fourth quarter to really turn into the good version of Bo. Because I think just about every quarterback will struggle with this Texans defense.

00:45:58

Yeah.

00:45:59

So, yeah, it was just, it was, you know, Bo kind of treading water for a while and then, and then waiting until the perfect time load them into a false sense of security. That's what Bo does.

00:46:09

And he still does. Even when he started bad, he has, he still will just be like, I'm it, I'm throwing it deep. Yeah, little Rex Grossman where he's like, I'm gonna throw it deep and I'm gonna hit Cortland Sutton. And, and I do have confidence in Bo Nix. When he rolls out, you're like, oh, there's a deep pass. And the Broncos have won six in a row. And it doesn't matter really how they've done it all types of way. They've won it ugly against the Jets. They won it in crazy fashion against the Eagles. They blew out the Cowboys. This one was a complete slog, but they found enough. And their defense will keep them in every game until Bo Nix is like, yeah, this is time for me to bone be Bo Nicks.

00:46:46

Yeah, the Broncos, they've won, they've blown a couple teams out kind of, but they play in a lot of ugly Games. Yeah, like they, that's, that's kind of their thing is they're going to play in a shitload of ugly games and that will happen if they get to the playoffs. And they have. They've got a lot of experience winning ugly.

00:47:01

Yeah.

00:47:01

Which is very good. Very good for them. They've got a good coach, too. Think about Sean Payton can win you some ugly games.

00:47:07

Yeah, the. The games they play are always kind of must watch because they're going to be either. You know, last week they blew out the Cowboys. That was fun to watch because they were just electric. But the Eagles game was insane. The Giants game, obviously, the 33 points in the fourth quarter. This game, even though it was a tough watch, was tight the whole way. And like, that's what you want to watch, a close game. And I do feel bad for C.J. stroud. That was tough. That was not. Did they pick up the flag on that?

00:47:36

I think they did, yeah.

00:47:37

Because it wasn't a legal hit. It was just a shitty, like unfortunate that his head hit the ground.

00:47:42

So CJ Was sliding and then I forget who it was from Denver that was coming in, gave him a shot like to the side ribs area. The head snap back, bounced off the ground. I saw some people comparing it to the hits that the, the. The Texans were laying against Patrick Mahomes or Trevor Lawrence.

00:47:59

Remember that one?

00:48:00

Or Trevor Lawrence.

00:48:00

That one was, though dirty. That one was late dirty. All that stuff. This one was. Didn't feel like it was like malicious intent.

00:48:07

When you watch in slow motion, you can, you can basically point out any play, be like pulled up right here.

00:48:12

Yeah.

00:48:12

But then there's this pesky thing like the laws of physics that makes it hard to do that. So I don't. Yeah, I don't think it was a dirty play by the Broncos at all.

00:48:20

Yeah, they did pick it up. They did pick up the flag in that, in that situation. Yeah, it sucks.

00:48:25

I hope he's okay in that circumstance. I think what the ref should do is they should pretend that the flag stands until CJ Strad leaves and goes into the tunnel. And then after he's gone, they're like, okay, we're going to pick this up. Nobody tells C.J.

00:48:37

Yeah, I feel like the Texans season, looking at their schedule, comes down to the next two weeks. If they can beat the Jaguars and the Titans, and hopefully CJ Stroud is. Is able to come back. But if they can beat the. I think actually, no, they have a bye week or. No, no, they know bye week. I'm Wrong. They have the Jaguars and Titans and then they have to play the Bills, Colts, and Chiefs. So they have to get to 5 and 5 to have a chance.

00:48:58

Yep.

00:48:59

And their defense is so, so good. Their offensive line is so, so bad. They. The Texans should never, ever. They're actually the exact opposite of the Philadelphia Eagles. They should never get to the one yard line.

00:49:11

Yeah.

00:49:12

Because twice they got to the one yard line and had to settle for field goals. They ended up getting penalties, just getting stuffed run after run after run. They're the exact opposite of the push. Tush and the Tush push and the.

00:49:25

Eagles, that's exactly what we saw, like, in their last two games. Like, they keep getting to the one yard line and they keep just running a dive up the middle and never. You know what? The Twitch push should be banned. Except for the Texans.

00:49:38

They should be.

00:49:38

They should be the only team that's allowed to use it.

00:49:40

I don't think they'd be able to use it.

00:49:42

Probably not.

00:49:42

I don't think they would know how to use it. It would be a disaster.

00:49:45

I think Mills could probably do it. Yeah, Hank, Use that big neck of his. Put the ball in his mouth. Have him stretch out.

00:49:51

Where are the Broncos on your radar?

00:49:54

Not.

00:49:54

Not super high. Not super concerned.

00:49:56

Oh, really? They're seven and two. That's fine. They've won six in a row. They've beaten some good teams on this stretch. They're not on your radar.

00:50:05

They're on. They're not high on the radar.

00:50:07

Who's high on the radar?

00:50:09

Colts, Chiefs, Bills. I feel like I'd rather play the Broncos than the Ravens in the playoffs.

00:50:16

I feel like if the Colts are on your radar, the Broncos have to be on your radar.

00:50:20

It's teams you don't want to see in the playoffs like most concerned about seeing in the playoffs. The Broncos are not. Like, they wouldn't overly concern me.

00:50:28

Going to Mile High would not concern you.

00:50:31

Well, historically, yeah, I guess, you know, historically, the Patriots do not do well against the Broncos in my high.

00:50:36

But no.

00:50:38

Okay.

00:50:40

I think.

00:50:41

Not a believer.

00:50:42

Yeah. And I mean, the Colts against the Broncos. They played each other. The Colts won. That was that weird field goal thing at the very end of the game. Like, the Broncos could have very easily beaten the Colts. But you asked the question.

00:50:55

I know, I know, I know. I wanted your answer. It was good. I mean, hey, listen, you answer how you answer. I'm not judging your answer.

00:51:01

All right, so, Hank, let's go through all the teams right now that are projected to make the playoffs if they started today in the afc. Tell me which of these teams you would rather play than the Broncos.

00:51:12

Okay.

00:51:12

Okay.

00:51:13

So you've got the Bills, the Steelers, the Chargers, the Colts, the Jaguars.

00:51:23

Jaguars.

00:51:25

You'd want to play more than the Broncos.

00:51:28

And yeah, charters, I guess is like kind of a toss up because the.

00:51:31

Thing about the playoffs is once you get in the playoffs, every team in the playoffs is a playoff team.

00:51:35

Right.

00:51:36

I know. I. I know how it goes in the playoffs. I'm well aware.

00:51:39

And I guess just for the sake of argument, we'll include the Chiefs in there.

00:51:43

Right. AFC is going to be tough. Yeah. It's going to be a dog fight.

00:51:48

I would love it if the Broncos. Yeah, the Broncos can. Can win their. Actually, I don't know. That's the thing. It's like, I don't know how it shook up after the loss, but like last week it was projected Patriots Chiefs first round, which would suck.

00:52:02

Yeah. The Colts and Patriots have really kind of, kind of screwed up the AFC playoff picture. If you go back to like August.

00:52:09

Yeah.

00:52:09

Because you think about it right now, and the Ravens, the Texans, the Chiefs and the Bengals all on the outside looking in.

00:52:16

Yeah.

00:52:16

It's pretty wild.

00:52:18

It is.

00:52:18

Yeah.

00:52:19

00:54:31

They're coming back to bring the podcast back.

00:54:32

They're bringing it back.

00:54:34

I don't know how I feel about this. I feel like you're in the middle of a once in a lifetime hot streak.

00:54:39

I know.

00:54:40

For the pod. I mean, I don't think the pod was around back when they were good.

00:54:43

They were. I think they're 4 and 1 since they retired the pod. Yeah.

00:54:46

In the lifetime of the pod, this is the best that the Panthers have played. You gotta. This is a nobody move situation.

00:54:51

It's a nobody move situation. I agree. This was the biggest upset in terms of point spreads since the Titans beat the Miami Dolphins in 2023. That Monday Night Football game when variable went for two.

00:55:03

Yeah.

00:55:04

Down 14. Very smart. But 13 and a half point underdogs. Outright winner in Lambeau. It was the shocking, the shocking result of the day. Let's first start with the Panthers. Their defense played great. Rico Dowdle is awesome. Yep. They. Dave Canales, I think he had to do the right thing of, hey, you don't lose your job because of injury when Chubba Hubbard went out. But after two games of being like, yeah, you know what? You don't lose your job to injury. Maybe you do lose your job to injury because Rico Dowdle is by far their best offensive player and they need to give him the ball a lot. And they did 25 carries, 130 yards, two touchdowns. He also had the big run to set up the game winning field goal. Just, just let Rico loose because the passing attack for the Panthers is not. Bryce Young had a. Josh Rosen sat line today. He had 11 for 20 for 100, 102 yards.

00:56:02

Yeah. But with Rico Dowdle, that's. It's pretty clear that's what their offense should be.

00:56:06

Yeah.

00:56:06

And he had another amazing game today. And he also had the bonehead move of the game, which almost cost his team the win. So he scored a touchdown. And he did the Key and Peel celebration, where he did two pumps when he was humping the air. The refs flagged him. Apparently. That's not in the NFL rulebook. That's in the Key and Peel rulebook.

00:56:24

Yep.

00:56:24

But the NFL should adopt it because that. That celebrations become so widespread and the understanding that it's two pumps is okay. Three pumps is a little gesture.

00:56:35

Yeah.

00:56:36

That he thought he could get away with. It got flagged. The extra point gets pushed back, and then they missed the extra point short, which I haven't seen in a very long time.

00:56:43

Yep.

00:56:44

In the NFL. But then he made up for it. Then he made up for it, and he got him back. And things have to feel pretty good if you're a Carolina Panthers fan. Yeah.

00:56:50

This is a shocking win.

00:56:52

Like, you. You didn't really luck into this. You played great defense.

00:56:55

Right. And the packers, well, the packers had. Their red zone. Offense was bad. They had, I think, four trips, and they. Two of them were turnovers. One on turnover, on downs. The other was a fumble. Tucker Kraft getting hurt, which I think was an acl, is really shitty because he was obviously having a breakout year. And, yeah, the packers are just a weird team because I think they're very good. But then they've had. This was almost like the Bengals first half they had coming out of the bye week, but it was the full game, and their offense looked clunky. And they're like. They're in this weird boomer bust where it's either a deep shot or they're not. They're not progressing the ball down the field in, like, a normal fashion. And you thought after the Steelers game, that second half especially, they were going to let Jordan Love just be awesome because he was awesome in that game. It was his birthday. Turned 34 today. And no, it didn't happen. He looked bad. He had one of the funniest, most ridiculous pass attempts that didn't end up in an interception where he had 11 seconds running around in the backfield and then threw it to.

00:58:02

No one was in the screenshot except a Panthers defender. And he dropped it. Yeah.

00:58:06

It was just like, I'm gonna throw this up. Maybe we'll get a pass interference. But it was directly. Like it was right in the guy's hands. And he didn't drop it on purpose, but it actually worked out better that he did drop it.

00:58:15

Yeah.

00:58:16

So good. Job by the Panthers defense. And Max, in your shoes, you wish that the packers had won this game, right? No. You don't care.

00:58:26

I'm happy they lost.

00:58:27

Oh, you're playing them next week on Monday Night Football.

00:58:29

Yeah.

00:58:31

Yeah. Because they will probably be a little bit more focused.

00:58:34

This, this could have been a, a look ahead game for the Panther or for the Packers.

00:58:38

I, I am happy they lost this game. Every, every loss counts when you're going for the top of the nfc.

00:58:45

That is true.

00:58:46

Yeah.

00:58:47

That is true. And I, I think the packers will still find themselves there at the end of the season. Like, they'll be right in the conversation. But this is not a great day for packers fans.

00:58:55

They just feel like they have so much on offense. Then they don't do the little things. Well, like, I don't know, it just, it just. I mean it's a lot of credit to the Panthers defense. The pants Panthers defense was awesome. I don't like. Josh Jacobs is great. I don't know why they don't run the ball more. Even more with him under center. And like I, it's just. Yeah, it's. They're, they're a confusing team because they've looked like the best team in football and then they have two losses and a, and a tie against. I mean The Panthers are 5 and 4. But are the Panthers a top team in the NFL? Probably not. Even Panthers fans would say that.

00:59:33

Yeah.

00:59:33

The Browns are not good and the Cowboys are, you know, not great. So those three, they're against those three teams. They've had bad performances.

00:59:43

I feel like the Panthers might be a nice little story this year. That's what we're talking about. I've been 4, 5 and 4. Nice little story for the Carolina Panthers.

00:59:51

Also. Micah Parsons just wasn't there. Knows zero pressures first time in his career.

00:59:55

Yeah. So he does have. I think going into this week he had the most pressures of anybody in the NFL.

01:00:01

Yeah.

01:00:02

But yeah, zero against the Panthers.

01:00:04

I think it's also like the most packers fans are probably pretty frustrated. The packers have. It feels like every game they come out slow and then they, they're in these spots where they have scored in their last six games. Three points in the, these first half scores for the packers in their last six games. 3 points, 13 points, 10 points, 6, 7, 6. This offense is, is too good to not be scoring a couple touchdowns in, in each half.

01:00:33

I agree. I, I feel like LaFleur needs to get back to his weird creative that he was doing last year.

01:00:39

Yeah.

01:00:40

When Malik Willis was starting for the Packers. The offense was crazy. Yeah, it was fun. It was interesting. It was all these different wrinkles. Now he's like, well, I. I think I got the horses, so I'll just beat him in a horse race.

01:00:50

Yeah, I enjoyed this game. It was. There was also a beach ball delay. Did you see that?

01:00:54

I saw that. And the guy that got it. I got a question about the guy that picked up the beach ball. Is that. Was that just. Not Mike McCarthy?

01:01:01

Who?

01:01:02

The guy that picked up the beach ball.

01:01:03

Well, the player picked up the beach.

01:01:04

The guy on the side gave it.

01:01:06

To a ref, and then the ref gave it to. So I don't know. Let me see.

01:01:09

Look at the guy. I feel. I think Mike McCarthy might have snuck hanging out Packer sidelines.

01:01:13

Yeah. Losses, by the way, when you wear throwback jerseys are especially bad because you just remember them.

01:01:21

I agree.

01:01:22

You were. You remember them more because you're like, oh, yeah, we were wearing those.

01:01:25

Yep. I agree.

01:01:27

Okay.

01:01:29

All right, all right.

01:01:30

So look at this.

01:01:30

Look at this guy.

01:01:31

Beach ball. This is not Mike McCarthy. 100.

01:01:35

Well, obviously it's not actually Mike McCarthy, but it looks just a little.

01:01:39

The beard doesn't look like him, obviously. But the rest of it, the beard is. Mike McCarthy doesn't have a beard like that. Smack. McCarthy even have a beard?

01:01:48

Yeah, he's got a beard, but it's. Yeah, he's got a beard.

01:01:50

Yeah, I guess I don't even know what Mike McCarthy looks like anymore. You miss him for a year and it's just over. Oh, yeah. Beard. That guy was too thin. Thin for Michael.

01:01:59

That guy was stout. He had. He had McCarthy's neck. Yes.

01:02:03

McCarthy. Light.

01:02:04

Might be a little. I. I guarantee that guy is gone as Mike McCarthy for Halloween.

01:02:09

Yeah, probably that's. And do you think he knew? Like, that's my job. I'm gonna take care of this. Yeah, I like when they do the throwback sweatshirts, too. That's kind of cool.

01:02:19

Yeah, the packers throwbacks. I don't. I don't really understand what was going on there.

01:02:23

I actually didn't think they were the worst of throwbacks that have happened because whenever you do those old timey ones, it's always like, what is. What is this? Like the Steelers last week?

01:02:31

Yeah.

01:02:31

These ones, in terms of the. The old throwbacks weren't the worst, but again, you can't. Can't lose games in the throwbacks. And they just. It's seared in your brain.

01:02:40

Like, these are throwbacks to like the 1920s. Oh, yeah, these are way throwbacks.

01:02:44

Yeah. Yeah.

01:02:45

These are like when the Chiefs wear the. The old, like, Dallas uniforms.

01:02:48

Huh?

01:02:49

Yeah. Too far. You can't throw it back that far.

01:02:51

But the pants. I'm listen. I will be listening to Meow Mix. I will be listening to Meow Mix.

01:02:56

Yeah.

01:02:57

If it's selfish, can we. Like, it's selfish. They're being selfish.

01:03:01

I don't know. Let the boys have a little fun. They've gone through so much.

01:03:06

But what if the Panthers just, like, never win a game?

01:03:08

It's selfish.

01:03:09

If you guys stopped doing this podcast because your team was losing and then.

01:03:13

Your team just never gotten off the ground. But, yeah.

01:03:17

Would you then be like, all right, we gotta do the podcast again, even though we're currently winning. And.

01:03:21

Yeah, no, it is selfish.

01:03:23

It's a little selfish. It's a delicate balance because you want to. You want to enjoy the good times.

01:03:27

But as a fan of Meow Mix, I want to hear the boys chop it up.

01:03:32

I listened to you listen to them cancel their podcast.

01:03:35

Yeah, I listen.

01:03:36

They're gonna. They're gonna lose probably four in a row and then cancel it again. And then you'll listen to that.

01:03:40

No, I'm gonna listen to this one because they beat the Packers. I am definitely gonna be. I'm gonna do a. I'm gonna grab some popcorn and listen to the breakdown of what the. What the Panthers did to the Packers.

01:03:50

I think they just got to play. Like, you got to record a podcast that's just literally cats meowing at each other and then sell ads into it and then drop that on the timeline. And then, people, you'll get the ad revenue for it. It'll be fine. But you can't. You can't hop back on. Hey, if you're a real fan of the Carolina Panthers, as I know the MeowMax guys are, you have to realize some things are bigger than the pod. Yeah.

01:04:11

Do you know Fun Bryce Youngstadt? He has 11 career wins. Nine have ended with a fourth quarter or OT game winning drive. Is he Mr. Clutch?

01:04:22

He is Mr. Clutch.

01:04:23

Yeah, he might be Mr.

01:04:24

Clutch.

01:04:24

It's all his wins, basically, are just him being Clutch.

01:04:28

I'm just. I'm so pumped when good stuff happens to Bryce Young, because for a while, he was just like the saddest looking quarterback and nothing was going his way. And you could tell he had the whole. The weight of the whole world on him. So much pressure, especially when CJ was lighting it up. And now I'm just happy for Bryce and Now we.

01:04:43

We get to do like a. Hey, what would have happened if Bryce Young didn't get injured? They probably still would have lost the Bills. They might have, but still, they're five and one or. No, they're not. They're five and two since week three. On. They lost their first two games of the season. They look pretty good since. I mean, they're. They're at least going in the right direction.

01:05:06

They are.

01:05:06

They are.

01:05:06

I actually found the quote from Rico Dowdle after the game when he was talking about the two pumps. This is what he said. From my understanding and everything I've learned, we go over stuff like this every week in the meeting room. I definitely think you're supposed to get two pumps. Hopefully I don't get a fine. The NFL should have clarified that.

01:05:22

Yes.

01:05:22

I actually, I put that on Roger Goodell for not stepping in. Be like, hey, I know that you guys have seen a lot of stuff in the news, a lot of stuff on tv. Just so you know, we have a zero pump policy in the NFL.

01:05:33

Yeah.

01:05:33

Yeah. One pump is too much.

01:05:35

Yeah. Good for the Panthers. Yeah, keep pounding. I'm excited for them. Five and four. You did not think after the first two weeks of the season they'd be five and four. And they do have, like, some of the most hilarious games because they beat the Falcons 30 to nothing. They lost the Patriots 42 13. Like, they beat the packers today. They lost the bills 40 to 9. It's just all over the place.

01:05:59

It is. And this is the first time in 12 matchups with the. With the packers that they've held the packers to less than 24 points as a pretty impressive streak. Green going against Carolina.

01:06:11

Dude, their defense in their, their draft pick, Nick squirting from Texas A and M, he was good. Like, they, they're kind of. Kind of got some dudes again.

01:06:19

They do.

01:06:20

They're getting a little dude heavy.

01:06:21

Good for the Panthers and the Packers. I, I think that their offense is going to look. It has to look a lot different without Tucker Kraft. Yeah, we. We kind of anointed him.

01:06:31

Best tight end in the league.

01:06:32

Top of the pop. Cream the crop. Tight end.

01:06:35

Oh, this is a juicy game now with the Eagles and Packers. Let's play Whose Line is anyway from DraftKings.

01:06:41

Where is it?

01:06:42

It's at Lambeau. Max will be there.

01:06:45

I already know what it is.

01:06:47

I'm gonna say packers minus two and a half.

01:06:51

One and a half.

01:06:52

Eagles minus one and a half.

01:06:54

PFT is correct.

01:06:55

Two and a half.

01:06:56

Packers minus two and A half.

01:06:58

That's birds, baby.

01:06:59

Okay. I mean, it's. Must win for the Packers. I know what you're saying, Max, that you, you want them to lose, but Pft's right. Like you would have liked them. Yeah, no, he's right.

01:07:11

On every team.

01:07:11

No, no, he's right.

01:07:12

I'm right.

01:07:13

Yeah.

01:07:13

I'm right about this. NFL, they prepare the same every week.

01:07:16

That's just not true.

01:07:17

Yeah, there's.

01:07:18

That's just not true.

01:07:19

Listen, as a fan, that means nothing.

01:07:20

What do you mean that means nothing?

01:07:23

This isn't high school basketball.

01:07:24

I agree. Okay.

01:07:28

Let me clarify what. Let me clarify what I'm saying. I'm not saying that it would actually make a difference as to like what happens during the game. I'm saying as a fan and being able to like rationalize your way into victories before they happen, that's. That's the better thing to happen.

01:07:40

It's obviously more like it actually has something to do with the game. This is why Mike Tomlin spots exist.

01:07:47

But going. Going into today, the Eagles were in second in the nfc. Now they are in first in the nfc. That, that was a good loss for the Eagles.

01:07:55

Yes.

01:07:56

What if you. What if it costs you a loss to the Packers? Then they would have won.

01:08:03

Yep. If you, if you lose to the packers, that's. That's a worse.

01:08:05

Would you rather. Odd question. Question. Can I ask a question, Dan? Would you rather have the packers beat the Panthers and the Eagles beat the packers or the Panthers beat the packers and the packers beat the Eagles?

01:08:17

It doesn't fucking matter, does it?

01:08:19

Does that?

01:08:20

No. Why do we always win money with Mike Tomlin? When he's. When he's a favorite on the road, you go against him. When he's a home underdog, you bet on him.

01:08:28

That has nothing to do with what you. What you're saying.

01:08:31

Yes. Because when they're. When the. When.

01:08:32

What does that have to do with the.

01:08:34

When the Steelers week. Because when the Steelers are feeling. And they go in Mike Tomlins like, oh, this team's good.

01:08:39

That is a different stat than what you just said.

01:08:41

No, I'm saying like the. When the Steelers are rolling. They're rolling. Going into the Bengals on Thursday night, they were favorites, but that's. The team's maybe not feeling great and then when they, when they lose a couple games, then they're fucking. All right, we gotta fucking win.

01:08:55

The spread changed zero of I understand.

01:08:58

This game or one but you're saying let down spots and like in desperation spots don't Exist.

01:09:04

I'm saying they do. If the. If the. If the packers were in the afc. If the packers were in the afc, I would agree with you. I would have preferred them to lose this game. It is not more valuable, Max, than a team that you're fighting for, the top of the packers beat you.

01:09:19

It will be.

01:09:20

No, but they. It won't matter, Max.

01:09:22

You're wrong. Here's where you guys. You're wrong.

01:09:24

Loser.

01:09:25

Lose your franchises.

01:09:27

You're wrong.

01:09:27

Get it?

01:09:28

You're wrong because.

01:09:29

Thank you, Hank.

01:09:30

No, because if you play. If you. If you lose to the packers, guess what the first tiebreaker is.

01:09:35

Head to head.

01:09:36

Head to head.

01:09:37

They have a tie.

01:09:38

Head to head. Oh, okay.

01:09:41

What?

01:09:43

There will be no tiebreaker unless the Eagles also get a tie.

01:09:46

That could happen.

01:09:47

Yeah. You could get a tie.

01:09:48

The tie.

01:09:50

You're, like, thinking about the. I knew about the tie.

01:09:52

Thinking about the tie. You could tie any game.

01:09:54

I knew about the tie.

01:09:55

You guys know that you're wrong, right?

01:09:56

No, we're not.

01:09:57

No.

01:09:57

They.

01:09:58

Head to head matters.

01:09:59

We're dead. We're dead. Right. That, like, if you're about to play them in a big spot, but it's.

01:10:04

More important for the top of the NFC to lose.

01:10:08

Yeah. Okay.

01:10:09

Well, I would like him. I would like him fat and happy if I were you.

01:10:12

Yeah. If you lose this game, it will be because the Packers. No, it won't. Yes, it will.

01:10:17

No, it won't. It will have nothing to do with that.

01:10:19

Have everything.

01:10:19

Hey, question.

01:10:20

Let's say the packers beat the Panthers by 20.

01:10:24

I can't take you seriously with the house it's getting.

01:10:26

Would they be in the way? You're wearing your headphones. Why were you Amish for Halloween?

01:10:31

I don't know.

01:10:32

This is when it was. There was an easy costume.

01:10:34

We're like, let's be honest. I hope you get canceled for this.

01:10:36

And then.

01:10:37

What?

01:10:38

A lot. We have a lot of Amish.

01:10:40

I don't think they can listen.

01:10:41

So they might walk by someone who's.

01:10:44

Listening and be like, but I'm not worried about Nadu. But, yeah, it was. It was. I looked too Amish. Everyone was like, you look scarily Amish. And then, you know, waking up yesterday, I was like, yeah, I'm stuck.

01:10:57

Yeah, well, you got to shave your whole face.

01:10:59

I thought about that, but I think I'm just gonna go Amish for, like, a couple days, and then I'll be back.

01:11:04

Okay.

01:11:05

You could shave into, like, a chin strap. A chin strap would look tough.

01:11:08

Chin strap would look so tough.

01:11:10

No, I like. I think. I think it looks good.

01:11:12

Okay.

01:11:15

I feel like if you think it.

01:11:16

Looks good, then that's good.

01:11:17

It's a little cultural appropriation.

01:11:19

Okay. What were you gonna say?

01:11:21

If the packers beat the pandas by 20, would they be preparing for the Eagles any differently than if they were?

01:11:27

Yes.

01:11:27

How? They'd be like, we got this.

01:11:29

We got.

01:11:29

This is easy.

01:11:30

You're really.

01:11:31

You got this. We're on a roll right now.

01:11:33

This what your point is? So Max's point about the whole standings thing. Whatever. That's fine. You're saying that let down spots and desperation spots don't exist. Because that's just wrong.

01:11:43

Let down spots and desperation spots might exist, but the. But after you get let down, it doesn't change. They're not desperate.

01:11:49

Oh. If you get. No, but if you're more desperate than.

01:11:53

They were, you don't want to lose.

01:11:54

Two games in November, buddy.

01:11:55

The Lions also lost.

01:11:57

What? Didn't they? The Lions.

01:12:00

Yeah, because they're in the.

01:12:02

That is their. Their fight for the division.

01:12:05

No, but.

01:12:05

No, we're talking about the Packers. The Packers.

01:12:08

Yes.

01:12:08

Hank, you would agree that today was a letdown spot, right? For the Packers? Yes. Okay. So let down.

01:12:13

But that does not change their preparation.

01:12:15

Now they have desperation Eagles. No.

01:12:17

Why? They have the same lead in the division as they did going into today. You know what?

01:12:22

In a row in November.

01:12:23

Don't forget about what the.

01:12:24

Does that mean?

01:12:26

Exactly what I said. It.

01:12:28

You know what? This is embarrassing that we have the Bears and the Commanders fans fighting on one side and the Patriots and the Eagles fans fighting on the other. That should. That should let the listeners know.

01:12:38

I'm more. I'm actually. I actually don't care about you right now, Max. The fact that Hank is sitting there like an Amish fuck and being like, let down spots don't exist is insane. They do exist.

01:12:50

Let down. Hank just admitted that they exist.

01:12:52

I did.

01:12:52

That's why hungry dogs exist. Max.

01:12:55

But the preparation, like the Ezekiel.

01:12:58

Whatever your fucking name is. Jeb. Jeb Jebbery. What? Did you even do it like, Halloween? You just walked around. Did you, like, do an accent?

01:13:05

I was like, I'm on Rum Springer.

01:13:08

That's good. Yeah. Would you have laughed?

01:13:11

Rum with you?

01:13:12

People were. People are loving it. Yeah.

01:13:14

And then did you guys, like, dance or do anything or, like. Yeah.

01:13:18

Where's Amish? Did you.

01:13:19

Milk just never heard of, like, let's be Amish for Halloween?

01:13:22

I mean, we're doing Halloween. Halloween Judgment.

01:13:25

No, I'm Just, I've never seen it.

01:13:26

It's a good costume.

01:13:28

Any of our Amish listeners. You can be Hank next year.

01:13:32

Come at me.

01:13:33

Do you think they do Halloween? No.

01:13:35

No.

01:13:35

No chance.

01:13:36

I've been listening.

01:13:37

They could be illegally on Rum Springer.

01:13:40

Yeah. Sneaking off. Yeah.

01:13:41

What if some what if. What if there's an Amish. I want to hear from one of our Amish awls. Who? Like, I, I did Rum Spring. I didn't get drunk at all. I just, I just binged pmt.

01:13:50

I wonder if they can have, like, Bluetooth speakers in their horse and buggy. That rock.

01:13:54

That would rock. All right, where are we at in this debate?

01:13:58

There are letdown spots. They exist.

01:14:00

Pft. And I won.

01:14:01

Max should have been hoping to God that the packers won.

01:14:04

Yeah. Yeah, you should have been hoping the packers killed the Panthers so then they would have been not ready for the Eagles.

01:14:11

Oh, no.

01:14:11

Oh.

01:14:12

Oh, no. Oh, no.

01:14:15

Oh, no.

01:14:16

All right, well, we're gonna break this.

01:14:17

Oh, no.

01:14:18

Real quick.

01:14:19

That's, he's, he's kicking his leg around. He's grabbing his knee.

01:14:22

Why is he in this game?

01:14:24

This is so stupid.

01:14:25

Jaden Daniels just got hurt. We're watching the game.

01:14:28

I, I was a fool to think.

01:14:29

That, oh, my God.

01:14:30

Season would be any different. I don't know, maybe react. Hamstring, knee.

01:14:38

The cave.

01:14:38

You guys can't hear the cave. They are screaming in pain like, they must be ahead of us. I, like, don't even want to look.

01:14:44

Oh, no.

01:14:45

Why was he in the game?

01:14:46

Guys, I think, I think maybe rooting for a football team is just not for me.

01:14:53

His arm. I don't understand. No, I think it was his leg.

01:14:55

I think that, I think his left leg.

01:14:58

He hasn't moved.

01:14:59

I think I'm a college guy now.

01:15:00

He's praying.

01:15:02

He's. Who's praying?

01:15:03

I'm friends.

01:15:05

Why was he in the game? And Hanks.

01:15:08

Oh, man, Hanks over here.

01:15:09

That's like malpractice that he was in this game.

01:15:12

Beard in his costume. All right, well, I'll see you guys in 2027. You remember how awesome last.

01:15:24

They just faded to black.

01:15:28

This sucks. This sucks. I think I, I think I just gotta quit rooting for football teams. I think I got just gotta be a full time Jamie Duke fan.

01:15:40

I don't know. I, I, I know that like this, but there's just no point to have your franchise quarterback in the game. Down 31 running too. That's dumb.

01:15:51

Yeah, I mean, this is a stupid game. The game was over. In the second quarter. This is the kind of game that I don't. I don't know what Dan Quinn did this week. The defense certainly didn't do anything. And yeah, if you. When you get embarrassed like this in prime time. Josh Harris on the sidelines in the second quarter. I wouldn't be sleeping too nice if I was Dan Quinn tonight. Or definitely not Joe Witt. Joe Witt's probably out. Yeah, but that was a bad. I just gotta. I hope it's not serious.

01:16:23

Okay, we'll wait for an update. Do we want to go. Oh, is this. People are saying. People are saying elbow.

01:16:30

Yeah, I saw an arm.

01:16:32

Oh, really? Okay. That's. That's better than a knee.

01:16:35

I just.

01:16:37

Yes.

01:16:37

I just refer. Bring the card out.

01:16:39

Wait, I don't.

01:16:42

Would they bring.

01:16:42

I think elbows. I think you'd rather an arm injury than arm. Like right injury.

01:16:48

Right elbow.

01:16:49

Wait, let's see it again. Oh, y. That part. We missed that part. Oh, no, we missed that part. Oh, okay. Yep. Oh, we completely missed that live. Yeah, that was. That was.

01:17:02

Jesus, man.

01:17:04

That was backwards. Oh, that's bad. Oh, that's bad.

01:17:10

This is about as bad as tonight could have gone.

01:17:15

I actually do think, though, I just.

01:17:17

Opened up Twitter and the first thing I saw was Siwu Kim Tracker.

01:17:20

Yeah, he's walking.

01:17:21

He tweeted. Oh, no. Pft. Thanks. Siwu Chem Tracker.

01:17:26

I. That's better than a knee.

01:17:29

Left elbow?

01:17:30

Yes.

01:17:31

Or is that right elbow?

01:17:32

It's left elbow.

01:17:32

Is it 100? Are we sure?

01:17:34

Yeah, he's got his left elbow in a cast. Okay, that's. That's 100 better than a knee. Anything. Leg.

01:17:39

That is better than a knee.

01:17:40

Yeah. I mean, that's. He might be out for a long time, but you don't like legs or what you don't want hurt.

01:17:47

Yeah.

01:17:49

Okay.

01:17:49

All right.

01:17:50

We'll get to that game. Or do you want to talk about the game right now?

01:17:54

We can. We can just. I pretty much said everything, so the. It was just over when it started. The commander's defense is not very good. The Seahawks look unstoppable right now.

01:18:05

Sam Darnold was perfect in the first half. He was what was 16 for 16.

01:18:09

I think to start the game.

01:18:11

Insane.

01:18:12

It was. It was just a crazy start. So here's a fun little stat. Sam Darnold tonight, one of two quarterbacks in the last 20 seasons with four total touchdowns and a perfect passer rating in the first half of a prime time game. The other was Mike Vick of the Eagles in Week 10, 2010 at Washington. And that's what this game felt like right off the side. Like it was, it was like, remember the same type of game script right from the get go. Yeah. Bad defensive showing from the commanders. I really feel like Joe Witt's probably going to get fired because choosing to run man coverage when you just got guys whose strategy is just like commit pass interference and hope they don't call it on you every single time.

01:18:52

Yep.

01:18:53

I don't know why we have those guys in man coverage right now.

01:18:55

Yep.

01:18:56

So over the last four quarters, the commander's defense has allowed seven touchdowns. This is at halftime, by the way. Seven touchdowns, one field goal, 601 total yards, one punt, one kneel down. And they were outscored 52 to 7. That's in the last four quarters of football from the second half of Monday night to the first half of Sunday night.

01:19:17

Not good. So the Seahawks are really good. I think that's. That was my big takeaway. I mean, obviously the Jaden Daniels injury is a big problem, but the Seahawks, they're a really good team. I. They just are. Sam Darnold's playing his ass off. Jackson, Smith, Najigba is like, we've already said it. One of the best wide receivers in the NFL and their defense is really good. And Mike McDonald's just a really good coach. Yeah. So I, I'm very impressed with Seahawks. They also should always wear these uniforms. They're the coolest uniforms out there. What? Draft pick.

01:19:55

Draft pick. I. I was pissed off that they had this stinker of a game wearing these awesome uniforms.

01:20:00

Yeah.

01:20:00

During arc art Monk night, no less. Retired his jersey at halftime. You might ask like, well, why wasn't his jersey already retired? I'd say that would be. That would have been a fair point.

01:20:09

Yep.

01:20:09

To ask that question. Yep.

01:20:11

Yeah.

01:20:12

Ruined. Ruined throwback jersey night. Draft pick. Tankathon. I'm in familiar territory.

01:20:20

Yeah. This also, I don't. There's something about the Bears and commanders playing, but it is now 2 for 2 in seasons. Going down after we play.

01:20:29

It's just we can't play next year.

01:20:31

We play next year.

01:20:32

I don't know.

01:20:33

But this we probably play next year. They just are forcing the game.

01:20:37

It was so cool being in the NFC championship game. And that's probably as good as it's going to get.

01:20:42

No, you can't.

01:20:42

So I hope, I hope to get back there one day.

01:20:45

If you get a high draft pick sometimes.

01:20:47

Hank, listen, one thing I know about Hank and watching football he watches with a championship mentality. He understands what championship pedigree and championship DNA is like. And all those times that he said that loser franchise. Nothing good is going to happen. Your quarterback's gonna be injury prone. Drake May is going to win a lot of super. I should have listened to Hank, because Hank, he. He's been there. He's been there. Hank was right. I was wrong.

01:21:14

You'll be back. What. What's. Max, Your. Your NFC east foe. Were you. Were you even worried about the Commanders this year? Was.

01:21:25

Going into the year, I was.

01:21:26

Yeah.

01:21:28

As of late, I have. I have not been too worried about them.

01:21:31

Lions next week.

01:21:33

You play lines next week.

01:21:35

How many more national tv.

01:21:36

So we got national TV next week. Then we got the. The Dolphins right now, the way they play, I. The Dolphins could beat us in Spain for sure.

01:21:45

Like, especially the Spain.

01:21:47

Factor two might be back when he plays against us. And then after that, we were playing the Cowboys on Christmas Day.

01:21:53

We got the Broncos after the Dolphins.

01:21:54

Oh, Broncos. Monday night. No, that's Sunday night football.

01:22:00

Lions is Lions's game of the week. Is. All right.

01:22:04

Yeah. It's afternoon. It's late game.

01:22:06

I forgot. You guys are gonna go bleach blonde, then for that Sunday I came.

01:22:12

Yep. And then the Commanders are gonna ruin Christmas. That'll be fun.

01:22:17

Wait, Thanksgiving Sunday night?

01:22:19

Yeah, that. The Sunday night of Thanksgiving is when the Broncos play the commanders. November 30th.

01:22:27

What? I completely forgot.

01:22:28

I completely forgot about. I remember. I don't think I'm gonna be. You gotta get. We got to get a tanner here. We got to get the spray tan. Spray tan lady.

01:22:41

Yeah, you got it.

01:22:42

She gotta call up the spray tan lady.

01:22:44

You gotta spray tan bleach blonde and.

01:22:46

Wear pop collars and, like, pink shirts.

01:22:49

Although.

01:22:51

What?

01:22:52

All right.

01:22:52

It's not dumber than you look right now.

01:22:56

Yeah, no, I'm gonna look good.

01:22:57

Why did you wear the. Did you not. Did you shower this morning?

01:23:02

Yeah, this is my outfit on Friday.

01:23:04

Why did you get back in your outfit?

01:23:06

I don't know. I was just like, if I'm gonna look Amish, I might as well look Amish. I thought we were doing a costume stream.

01:23:12

Drew Locke is in the game.

01:23:13

You know what sucks is. Well, wait, maybe some good news.

01:23:18

Elbow dislocation is what? Dr. Dan. Yeah.

01:23:21

Dr. David Chow just said by video. It's elbow dislocation. Ligaments torn, hope to avoid fracture. Fingers crossed, not season ending.

01:23:29

Okay. Okay.

01:23:30

That might be. That might be. If it's not season ending. That is the most Gruesome looking injury. That is not season anything that I've ever seen.

01:23:38

It was so disgusting for his elbow to go that. That direction. So that's good.

01:23:42

Maybe bring him. Maybe bring him home. Kirk Cousins, really now. Now the season just becomes draft pick.

01:23:50

Draft pick and spoiler.

01:23:51

Draft pick, spoiler and. And figure out what our coaching staff's going to look like moving forward.

01:23:58

Yeah.

01:23:58

Joe Witt. What a bad performance by the defense tonight.

01:24:02

Joe Whit. Not. Yeah, not. Not good. I mean, Sam Darnold was perfect, I think, especially because the NFC, I think you're going to have to have 10 wins to make the playoffs. It doesn't feel like nine wins right now. The Bears and the Panthers are the eight and nine, and they both have five wins. So, yeah.

01:24:20

If you're Josh Harris and you're standing behind Dan Quinn on the sidelines and you see Jaden Daniels get severely injured, are you thinking to yourself, is this a guy?

01:24:33

Are you thinking, is this the guy?

01:24:36

Is this a guy to be the coach? Oh, like, that's a bad. That's a bad mistake by Dan Quinn.

01:24:40

I agree.

01:24:41

When. If you watch this game, yes, the Seahawks were awesome. Their offense looks really, really good. They can score from anywhere. Sam Darnold looks unstoppable. But the one valuable asset that you have watching this game, the one good player that you can circle and be like, that guy is going to lead our team in the future. To get him injured in the fourth quarter of a blowout, that seems like it would be something that. In prime time, that an owner would have a serious problem.

01:25:08

And add to it the way Jayden Daniels is playing tonight because Terry's out because Luke McCaffrey got hurt. He was running a lot. And that's one of those situations where you have to stop the player from, like, hurting themselves kind of thing. Like, he's not gonna. Jay Daniels isn't gonna go half speed and be like, I'm just gonna stand in the pocket right in a blowout, so you gotta just take him out of the game.

01:25:29

Yeah.

01:25:30

Yeah. Very, very dumb. And the. I don't want to add another worst part. Pft. But there's no way Magic Johnson's watching this game because he's probably partying with the Dodgers. So you're probably gonna get a tweet about Jaden Daniels on, like, Wednesday.

01:25:42

Tomorrow. It's going to be.

01:25:43

Yeah.

01:25:43

After the parade.

01:25:44

Yeah, it's going to be. It's going to be a very delayed tweet about Jaden Daniels.

01:25:48

Yeah.

01:25:50

Okay.

01:25:50

I hope he's okay. I hope it's just no ligament.

01:25:53

That is way better than, than leg.

01:25:55

Left elbow.

01:25:56

Way better than legs.

01:25:57

Yeah, left elbow is fine.

01:25:58

I thought it was his that got bent. I didn't, I wasn't even looking at his arms in the first when we.

01:26:04

Were watching the replay cuz we fell to the ground. He also kind of grabbed down at.

01:26:07

His leg and he didn't move his left leg. So I was like, oh yeah. But okay, next up we got 49ers, 34, Giants 24. Mac Jones. Mac Jones. Talk about another quarterback.

01:26:21

He.

01:26:21

The ball did not hit the ground for Mac Jones in the first half. He was 14 for 14, 143 yards, two touchdowns. Christian McCaffrey. Oh yeah, remember him? He's awesome. He had 173 yards and two touchdowns. 16th career game with a rushing and receiving touchdown for Christian McCaffrey. He's the man. And I like the Giants just don't have enough people. Is that, is that fair? Like Jackson dart is good. He's elusive. He's. He makes plays. I think if you're a Giants fan, you're excited about Jackson dart, but in terms of like overall, you just don't have enough guys. Yeah, you don't have enough guys to compete with a team like, like the Giants who are injured but playing still good. 49ers, 49ers.

01:27:06

Sorry. Yeah, no, you're right. Like I, I still think that Jackson, there was one play that he had though where he has to be aware of guys that are behind him. He doesn't have eyes in the back of his head and he just kind of stood there and everybody in the, in the crowd saw sack coming. I don't know how he didn't fumble it. But overall, I'd say Jackson darts playing as well as you could hope given the circumstances for the 49ers. Kyle Shanahan was being real weird after the game when he was talking about Brock Purdy. Yeah, he's like, we have no idea when he's going to be able to play again. I think what it comes down to is that Brock Purdy should have been long term ir. What was that? Week two, Week three. Yeah, whenever that was. And Purdy was just like, no, I'm going to try to play through this turf toe. Whenever that was like the week of the turf toe. And every other quarterback was like, no, we have to be out for a while. We might need surgery. Purdy's just like, nah, fuck it, I'll play through it.

01:27:53

Yeah.

01:27:53

Which he's A tough guy, but he probably shouldn't have done that.

01:27:56

Soft benching.

01:27:57

Soft benching for Purdy right now.

01:27:59

Yeah. Is he being soft?

01:28:00

I think no. I think Mac Jones is a soft starter.

01:28:03

He's playing well.

01:28:04

Yeah.

01:28:05

Like he was. He was very good in the first half and he, I mean he was good overall in the game and they did remember that Christian McCaffrey is one of the best players in the NFL. He joined Walter Payton and Marshall Falk as the only players in NFL history with Double digit digit 100 yard rushing, 50 plus yard receiving games. So yeah, pretty, pretty damn good. He had two, two touchdowns. What did I say? 176, 173 yards from scrimmage.

01:28:33

Yeah.

01:28:33

Really fucking good. I have a question for everyone. Brian Dable so smarter Brian Dable to be beyond obsessed with Jackson Dart. If you've watched any of the videos he is. I mean we saw the blue tent video. I saw a clip from where he basically was like, you're my best friend. We're best friends. Right. Smart to link himself to Jackson. Darn. But Brian Dable as a head coach, I think Brian Dable's good. I think he's a good coach. Football coach. Brian Dable is a head coach though he started his first year 7 and 2 after 9 games. Since then, 2023, 2 and 7, 2024, 2 and 7, 2025, 2 and 7. Brian Dable Season has basically been over before Halloween the last three years. Does he get another year if he again, he's smart. He's like he, he probably went up to Jackson Dart was like, do we have an alliance? Yeah, like I got your back, you got mine.

01:29:39

Yeah, he's he. For, for a couple weeks he thought the team was going to be good enough I think to get him to a point where he wouldn't be fired. But then they kept getting injured and they lost a bunch of guys and now it's like, I just better. I better hope that this is my best friend.

01:29:52

Yeah.

01:29:52

That Jackson dark goes to Mr. Mara and says something because there was a. Yeah, yeah.

01:29:58

The graphic. Brian Dable and Jackson Dart dating.

01:30:00

Yeah, he loves him. He absolutely loves him. And he sees like his future in Jackson darts. Smart by it, very smart by him. But you can't get away from the planes that are flying banners over the stadium. And today we had a Mr. Mara enough is enough please clean house banner that was being flowing over the stadium and that's tough. I, I didn't think that the Giants were going to be in this position again. But here we are, two and seven, third year in a row. That said, I. I would probably put this team number one or maybe number two if we're power ranking the three, two and seven giants teams. So one year was the Tommy DeVito.

01:30:34

Yep. Remember they beat the packers on Monday football. Tommy DeVito mania was crazy.

01:30:38

Yeah. Yeah. And then last year was just Daniel Jones.

01:30:42

Yep.

01:30:42

So I would put.

01:30:43

Benching them and then cutting them.

01:30:45

I would put maybe Tommy DeVito year number one. This year number two. Last year number three.

01:30:51

Yeah. Because remember, this year did have some Russell Wilson.

01:30:54

It had some Russell Wilson. We watched a little too much Russell, too much Ross. And even though Dart looks like he's probably the future still.

01:31:01

Yeah.

01:31:02

It's not. It's not the worst two and seven.

01:31:03

That you've seen, am I. I'm realizing that I'm just. I'm repeating this take. But, like, the Giants throwback uniforms were awesome. Am I just an old man? What? What? Like, just go with the awesome uniforms. Those are great helmets.

01:31:16

Yeah.

01:31:16

I saw Jameis on the sidelines. He looked so sick. Just go with them. Why don't they just go with them?

01:31:22

I don't know. They should.

01:31:23

It's annoying Niners, though, there. I. I wonder what trade deadline is this week. Correct. Is it?

01:31:31

Let's see. When is.

01:31:32

I believe it's this week.

01:31:33

I believe Tuesday.

01:31:34

Tuesday. We'll see if the Niners try to try to get some type of help on defense because they do need it. Otherwise, they're probably a playoff team because they're still really well coached and they have enough guys that. Yeah. They just need to get. And their schedule isn't too. Too tough down the stretch. So maybe. Maybe they add someone. I don't know who's. Trey Hendrickson is hurt, but not. But. And the Bengals aren't going to trade them, but they should.

01:32:04

The 49ers should definitely look to make a move. There's. They're somehow still a very good team.

01:32:10

Right. Right.

01:32:11

And it's a testament to Kyle Shanahan, maybe his best coaching job.

01:32:14

Just. Just get it. Get a guy on defense to help out and. And hope that, you know, you can just play outside your mind come. Come January. Okay, next up, actually, let's do a couple ads and then we'll do a couple more games in the afternoon games.

01:34:12

Up, Hank Patriots 24, Falcons 23.

01:34:17

Thoughts?

01:34:19

Ugly win. But you you got sometimes you got to win ugly.

01:34:22

Maybe like a letdown spot.

01:34:24

It was a lot. Pictures are the every every game's a let down spot or we're in let down. I said that on I said that on Friday. I said let down spots exist. I was more talking about like teams don't prepare any differently. Like they're and they're pro teams. Yeah, they come and they prepare the same.

01:34:40

Okay, but win. But ugly win. Felt like you guys were cruising to an easy win and then that strip sack happened at the end of the half and it completely changed the course of the game.

01:34:51

Yeah, we were. We felt like we were dominating. We were up two scores and cruising. Like you said.

01:34:58

Drake made.

01:34:58

Did not look like he looked a little sloppier than he has the last like five weeks. Like he missed a couple throws. He had a pretty bad interception.

01:35:08

He's been sacked a lot. He got sacked 16 times the last three games.

01:35:11

And yeah, the fumble, the fumble was bad. But they, they, they found a way to win and that's, that's a good, that's a good sign for a team that's, you know, looking to make a playoff run.

01:35:19

So even in a game like this, Hank, this was his eighth straight game with 100 plus passer rating.

01:35:25

Yeah.

01:35:25

So do you know the other quarterbacks that have done that?

01:35:28

I'm going to guess Tom Brady, Peyton.

01:35:30

Manning.

01:35:33

Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes.

01:35:37

I don't think Mahomes is done.

01:35:38

Scrub.

01:35:39

Joe Montana, Lamar Jackson.

01:35:42

Lamar Jackson, Yeah.

01:35:44

Pretty good. Yeah, pretty good company to keep. And yeah, he, I think he still looked fine today. That was a weird fumble that he had. He has a couple. You know what, he's a goofball fumbler. I've seen him have a couple.

01:35:55

He had another folder.

01:35:56

He recovered.

01:35:57

I know the start of the second.

01:35:58

Half, he had almost did it again.

01:36:00

So for the, for the Falcons though, Drake London, beast. Absolutely absolute beast. And if you look from, I think like week four is when he started to turn it on this, this season, since week four, I would put Drake London in my, in my top five.

01:36:16

His, I'm gonna say strongest hands.

01:36:19

Yeah.

01:36:19

In the NFL. Like some of those catches. He had three touchdowns and they were just insane catches that like guys don't usually make or they bobble.

01:36:28

Yeah.

01:36:29

He was just snatching him out of the air. So hand size, it's got to be enormous.

01:36:33

It's gotta be huge.

01:36:34

Gotta be huge. I thought about my up for us.

01:36:36

I thought about my top five. Okay. Feel free to embrace debate.

01:36:40

Okay.

01:36:40

I got Jefferson1 right now, about 30 seconds ago. Okay, Jefferson1.

01:36:47

Disagree already.

01:36:47

Jamar Chase2.

01:36:49

Okay.

01:36:50

JSN3.

01:36:51

Yeah. JSM1.

01:36:52

Puka, Nakua4. Drake London5. At this very moment.

01:36:56

At this moment.

01:36:57

Yep. If you were to get, if you were to get a guy for a game today, those are my top five.

01:37:04

Okay, guys, you are missing that. I would say people are going to get upset about CD Lamb.

01:37:10

Great player.

01:37:11

Okay. CD Lamb definitely should probably be considered for that spot.

01:37:15

I've considered him.

01:37:16

Even George Pickens, both of those guys. Amanra.

01:37:21

Great player.

01:37:22

And you had Puka, right?

01:37:24

I had Puka.

01:37:25

He was Sutton's been really good.

01:37:26

Sutton's been good.

01:37:28

And yeah. I mean, otherwise. Yeah, the order is a little different if we're just going right now. Jackson, Smith, Najiga has been so, so good. He's been. He's awesome again tonight. But, yeah, that's a pretty good list.

01:37:40

Yeah, I like that list a lot because Drake, London, I mean, the stuff he was doing today was. There's no chance the Falcons would have been close to this game. Yeah. If it wasn't for him. Just sticking his hands up and everything. Just sticking to him.

01:37:51

AJ Brown.

01:37:53

AJ Brown. Yeah.

01:37:55

Devonte Smith.

01:37:56

AJ Brown. That's a guy that would look good for. The Patriots.

01:38:00

Would love that.

01:38:01

They already tried that.

01:38:03

They did when they offered a second in.

01:38:06

Keisha on booty. Oh, Howie said, thanks, but no thanks.

01:38:10

What about Buffalo?

01:38:12

Did Howie do it again this weekend?

01:38:14

People are telling me he's ass.

01:38:16

I don't think he's.

01:38:18

I think he's been a healthy scratch in, like, every game.

01:38:22

Good win, though, for you, Hank. Even though the John Parker Romo, this is the young ho coup. I mean, it's a curse.

01:38:30

Yeah.

01:38:30

You shouldn't have gotten rid of him. He was a fan favorite, an NFL favorite.

01:38:36

I also think that it might just be the curse of any kicker who's playing for the Falcons.

01:38:40

Yeah.

01:38:41

That felt like a game the Patriots are going to lose. I felt like a game like they were dominating and we're somehow going to let slip away. And then he kind of just gave it to us on a platter.

01:38:51

Yeah. Yeah.

01:38:52

And also the Patriots. Well, and they also gave the ball back. And then Michael Penix, I think he had an intentional grounding.

01:38:58

It was basically Michael Pennix, by the way, got to be the hardest thrower in the league.

01:39:03

He throws a couple.

01:39:04

He throws fireballs.

01:39:06

Yeah, The.

01:39:07

The.

01:39:07

The game, though, came down to The Patriots were 8 for 12 on third down and the Falcons for 10. And including the third down, that ended the game. Similar to J.J. mcCarthy being like, hey, let's pass it. We have our franchise quarterback. Throw it. What do we think about Cardi B. And Bob Crafts? Loved it. Box of the year. Loved it. That's.

01:39:27

Yeah. And Kenny Chesney. Oh, just Robert Kraft and musical greatness. They're probably gonna collab on a song soon, I'm sure.

01:39:35

And Cardi B And Stefon Diggs are dating.

01:39:37

Yeah, they.

01:39:38

Oh, yeah. I got a baby, baby on the way.

01:39:40

Oh, okay.

01:39:41

You think Bob Kraft is doing any 2C up there, do you think?

01:39:45

Do you think Bob Kraft Rubbed their belly.

01:39:49

Yeah. He said they. He scored and he was like, see? You show up and he scores. So we'll probably be seeing more Cardi B At the games. She did a celebration.

01:39:57

Do you think that Bob Kraft has heard the song Wet ass Pussy?

01:40:02

Yeah.

01:40:03

Oh, he's party.

01:40:05

He's lived it.

01:40:06

He's going in dry and coming out soggy all the time.

01:40:09

Yeah.

01:40:11

Oh, gross.

01:40:13

I was looking up the lyrics for Boomer and that's. That was one of them.

01:40:17

Cardi B. Is very pregnant.

01:40:19

What about that dangly thing in the back of your throat?

01:40:21

Cardi.

01:40:21

Okay.

01:40:28

It was kind of a Barack Obama voice he did for Crafter.

01:40:31

Yeah. I still haven't gotten over the Sydney Sweeney ice cream that you want.

01:40:36

Oh, no, that's. I. I received so much positive feedback for that. Yeah.

01:40:43

Because whenever I see big tits, I think milk. Yeah, that's.

01:40:47

It's natural. It's natural to think that way.

01:40:50

Okay. So, Hank, big game against the Bucks coming up. Are you ready for Zach and Che?

01:40:55

Yeah, I'm really, really nervous about those two. It is a.

01:40:58

You're such a.

01:41:00

Well, the two nicest guys in the world.

01:41:01

Like, I like, very annoying to watch a game next to.

01:41:05

But, like, not like, he's not gonna bother me intentionally.

01:41:08

No, but he'll bother you.

01:41:10

He'll bother you. Oh, he'll.

01:41:11

I don't think so. I don't think so, Stephen. Che is like, I, I. My type of annoying.

01:41:17

He'll bother you naturally. He won't have to work on it. And that's what's gonna be so frustrating.

01:41:24

I'm excited. I'm excited for this game. Patriots are underdogs. Good test. Exciting test.

01:41:31

Measuring stick.

01:41:32

Keep it rolling. Yeah. Playoff game. It's a playoff. It's a good sim.

01:41:35

Where's the game?

01:41:37

Tampa.

01:41:37

Tampa.

01:41:39

Interesting.

01:41:40

Brady Bull is a bit.

01:41:41

Yeah. Big game. And then who do you have after? I think Bethune, Cookman, Dolphins.

01:41:49

I mean, the jets on Thursday Night Football.

01:41:51

Oh, just Thursday.

01:41:52

Chance. Thursday Night Football, which will be streaming from the PNT studio.

01:41:56

Yeah. You didn't hear that one?

01:41:57

No, I heard. I heard. I heard South Carolina State memes. That's. You gotta. You're. You have to get up for that.

01:42:05

Bucks, Jets, Bengals, Giants buy.

01:42:07

That's the game of the year for memes.

01:42:10

That is the game of the year.

01:42:11

If memes wins that game.

01:42:12

Yeah.

01:42:12

Oh, my God.

01:42:13

That should be a tattoo for Hank. Like a one sided tattoo game.

01:42:17

That's not how that works. Wants to do a tattoo, but I'll do one.

01:42:22

I. I can't do that.

01:42:24

Yeah, good call me.

01:42:25

But you should go one sided tattoo bet.

01:42:27

That's.

01:42:27

That's not a bad.

01:42:28

You're not gonna lose that.

01:42:29

It sounds like you're not confident.

01:42:30

That's not a bat.

01:42:31

Are you drunk right now?

01:42:32

No.

01:42:33

Here you. You got a little chip to you. I like. Oh yeah.

01:42:36

You guys love to do like make a bet but also like don't get a cat. Ask anything.

01:42:41

Yeah. Get a cat. Yeah. Okay.

01:42:43

I'll go Amish. If the Patriots lose that game, the.

01:42:46

Falcons are in trouble. They need to win very badly. Are so they playing the early game next week? I don't know. You just kind of.

01:42:53

You got a little.

01:42:54

I am down for you to go Amish again if that's.

01:42:56

Yeah, I like it by the way. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Yeah. The Falcons are playing the Colts in Berlin. They need a win that. They're in desperation mode. They're probably pissed that the Colts lost the Steelers.

01:43:08

Very pissed. I was pissed. I was pissed earlier today that the. The Lions lost to the Vikings. Yeah. Like this is how you have to think about games.

01:43:17

Got it.

01:43:17

You have to. You have to just will your way into now. I don't really give a. Now it's like okay.

01:43:22

I just playing spoiler.

01:43:24

I think I'm in full on tank mode. I think I am a tank right now. You open up the site Tankathon? No, I did. I did on Monday though. I was pre tanking.

01:43:32

You need to maybe play someone other than Marcus Mariota to tank. I just good enough to get you a win or two.

01:43:37

I just re. I. I hope above all else, I just hope that Jaden's okay.

01:43:41

Yeah.

01:43:42

Some things are bigger than sports.

01:43:44

Some things are bigger than.

01:43:45

I'm also excited to see what we do this week. I feel like we're. We're set up to make trade. Yeah.

01:43:52

Interesting. What position are you looking for?

01:43:54

I'm hearing running back potentially or defensive line.

01:43:59

Did Christian Gonzalez get hurt in this game?

01:44:01

He got fallen on. He actually. He got moss a little bit but he got fallen on his head and he said he's fine.

01:44:08

He got fallen on like Drake London.

01:44:11

He was going.

01:44:11

He bit Drake London. Ripped a ball out of his hands and then kind of moss him and then fell and landed on Christian Gonzalez's head. Didn't look good. Christian Gonzalez said he's fine. So he's fine.

01:44:24

He's fine.

01:44:24

Insult the injury type situation.

01:44:26

Yeah.

01:44:27

Have you. Have you thought about who you want at running Back?

01:44:29

No, I don't know.

01:44:31

Give us some names.

01:44:32

I want to hear some names.

01:44:34

No. Come on, give us two names, Hank.

01:44:36

Who are you targeting?

01:44:38

Give us two names.

01:44:39

I. I don't. I'd love to see. Bring him back.

01:44:44

You're a lead guy.

01:44:45

Saquon.

01:44:47

You're a league guy.

01:44:48

Christian McCaffrey.

01:44:49

You got a couple names out there.

01:44:50

No, I don't.

01:44:51

Alvin Kamara.

01:44:53

Yeah, that'd be fun. Yeah, I'd be down for that.

01:44:56

There you go. There's a name. He could be traded. Who's out?

01:45:00

Yeah, I don't know. I don't really know who's out there.

01:45:02

Chuba maybe?

01:45:04

Yeah, Chubba.

01:45:05

That'll be good. Yeah, there's a couple names out there you gotta get. We got to get you in the. In the name game.

01:45:11

So you want a running back?

01:45:13

I don't care who we get. I just think we have room to.

01:45:17

To.

01:45:18

To grow.

01:45:18

Maybe.

01:45:19

Jalen hurts room to grow.

01:45:20

I. Yeah, I'm trying to think who else? What other running backs would be out there? I don't know.

01:45:27

Taj Spears, Tony Pollard.

01:45:31

I've seen some Miles Garrett Photoshops. Like, I'd be. I'd be down for that.

01:45:35

Oh, yeah. Yeah, I would. I mean, he's pretty good. Yeah, I think most teams would be down for that.

01:45:42

It's probably the best. Yeah.

01:45:43

I'm gonna put my. My name in the ring for Miles. Gear to the Bears as well.

01:45:47

Yep. There's rumors of the Eagles offered three first rounders for him.

01:45:50

What?

01:45:51

Howie.

01:45:52

Howie, you dog. Did it again.

01:45:54

I mean, it didn't happen.

01:45:56

No, but the fact that he.

01:45:57

That he offered him, that's a hell of an offer. Yeah. The Browns should absolutely do that.

01:46:02

If I was Howie, I would definitely leak that to the press even if I didn't.

01:46:05

Yeah.

01:46:05

You know, I offered three first rounders. They said no.

01:46:08

Yes. I'm trying.

01:46:09

Okay.

01:46:10

Last early game, Chargers 27, Titans 20. Titans did everything they could do to maybe win a game as 10 point underdogs with a pick 6 max big stupid pick guy. Justin Herbert, big super pick guy. He then Justin Herbert went on like a six play, perfect drive down the field to score a touchdown right after that. So they got a pick six. Then they got a punt return for a touchdown. The Titans offense continues to be ass, so they could not complete the upset. And for the Chargers, it's really. Joe Al got hurt again, which is brutal because it was like Joe all get hurt. Got hurt. Justin Herbert got sacked the very next play.

01:46:49

Yeah, apparently it's a. Maybe an aggravation of the previous injury, which means he's gonna be out for a long time now.

01:46:55

Yeah.

01:46:55

Which is. Which is bad because of The Chargers are 4. 0 when Joe Alt plays the entire game, and they are one and three when he doesn't. I guess now they're two and three when he doesn't. But it's. It's a big difference, which. Because when Joe Alts on the field, Justin Herbert's QBR is 80, and when he's not on the field, it's 56.

01:47:15

Yeah. And the Titans continue to be an offense that don't really want to watch. They don't have. I feel bad for Cam Ward because he doesn't have anyone to throw to.

01:47:26

Yeah.

01:47:26

And it just sucks. Sucks to watch.

01:47:29

It does feel like Calvin Ridley's there just. Just to be traded at some point, right?

01:47:33

Yeah. He's not even playing.

01:47:33

Like, they're just distressed assets bring in. They're like, hey, he's. In theory, he's a good wide receiver. Maybe we can get something for him.

01:47:39

Yeah, it's. It's tough to watch. And Justin Herbert had to run a lot today. He was. He was. He's barreling over people.

01:47:45

Yeah.

01:47:46

But, yeah, this was a result we expected. Except the Titans did cover. So congrats to them.

01:47:52

Congrats on not getting blown out to the Titans. Still, I would like to. I would like to opt out of too much Titans discussion this year.

01:47:59

Yeah, we had him perfectly put on the side tv. Just looked over every now and then like, oh, the Titans are up 14 7. This is cool. Nope, Titans can't get a first down. They're in third and long all the time. And then a pass gets thrown, like, behind someone crossing the middle of the field. That was short anyway. Yep, that's pretty much what my Titans offense like, if we did like, the Sean McVeigh, you know how he can recall any play. She's like, what Titans third and. Third and 16. 3:30 left in the third quarter. Like, I don't know. Probably a pass over the middle of the field that was incomplete.

01:48:37

I just keep looking over at the game and I just kept saying, that's nice that the Titans are close. Like, this is nice. Good for them.

01:48:42

Was there too much powder blue on the field today?

01:48:44

It was a lot of blue.

01:48:45

There's a lot of powder blue.

01:48:46

It was a lot of blue. But if you're going to pick one color, I'd say that's probably a pretty good one.

01:48:50

I'd agree. And that was our Titans recap. Okay. Afternoon games, Jaguars 30, Raiders 29. This was a game that looked like it was going to be a painful, painful watch. And then a shootout happened and we thought it was going to be a painful watch when Trevor Lawrence threw a real doy doi interception on the goal line in the first half.

01:49:09

I think he might be. It's him and Herbert that are neck and neck for stupid pick guys.

01:49:14

Yeah. And then he did have diarrhea going into this game, but an offensive shootout broke out, including 13 points in overtime, so. And Trevor Lawrence played well, scored twice running. That was big for multiple reasons. They, you know, he was spreading the ball. Parker Washington was catching everything. And Geno Smith and the Raiders. Turns out Brock Bowers is very, very important.

01:49:39

Yeah.

01:49:40

Because not only is Brock Bowers really, really good catching the ball, he had 12 catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns. He also makes it a lot easier for Ashton Genty to maybe get out in space because he had a big day receiving the ball and he was okay running the ball. So the Charger or the Raiders offense, after the. Before the bye week, they played that game against the Chiefs where they had three first downs and were maybe one of the worst offensive performances we've ever seen. Turns out Brock Bowers can fix a lot of that.

01:50:11

Yeah, this game, this game was so shitty for the first three quarters, though.

01:50:15

Yeah.

01:50:15

In the first half you'd look up and. And the Jaguars found themselves in. I think it was like second and 20 probably like five times in the first half of this game. It's like anytime something good would happen, there would be illegal shift, there would be a hold, there'd be something. It just felt like neither team was ever going to cross half field and just kind of hang out playing football on a field together for. For four hours and that would be. That would be that. But then the fourth quarter got crazy and then in overtime. Credit to Pete Carroll for going for two.

01:50:44

Yeah, he had.

01:50:44

Dude, I appreciate that, Pete. Good job. Ty. Does you nothing. You want to tell your team we're not quitting. We're still fighting to win. Good job. It didn't work out. Some people might kill him for it. I will not. I will not kill Pete Carroll for that.

01:50:56

Yeah, I think we have to bet the Broncos on Thursday Night Football against the Raiders because I feel like going from overtime loss, where they played every second of that overtime to then having to go a mile high. That's a hammer spot.

01:51:14

You got some room to hammer too.

01:51:16

Yeah. Because Trevor Lawrence. Yeah. Big time.

01:51:19

Shout out.

01:51:20

Shout out. Our guy Jersey Jerry with the td. He just decided today was QB day.

01:51:26

Yeah.

01:51:26

So he was like, I'm just going to do Caleb Williams, J.J. mcCarthy. Who was the other one in it?

01:51:32

Daniel Jones.

01:51:32

Daniel Jones. And Trevor. Trevor Lawrence to score touchdowns. And it was. I put 300 and I won 140. 300 to win $140,000.

01:51:44

Insane.

01:51:44

Insane. Is that the biggest hit in terms of single player? Yeah. Yeah. And Jerry had 200 to win 90. Pretty insane.

01:51:54

Insane.

01:51:54

And Trevor Lawrence scored twice. He ran in two.

01:51:57

I had a hundred to win 50, 000. And then I. Then I cashed out before the Jaguars game.

01:52:03

By the way, I wasn't gonna bring up the bet. Hank did.

01:52:06

But then I also put.

01:52:07

You won a hundred and fifty. My. My best friend in the whole world. Everyone saw this out.

01:52:13

Yeah, but everyone's.

01:52:14

I don't want to bring it up.

01:52:14

I wasn't.

01:52:15

But I wasn't gonna bring it up.

01:52:16

It's okay. I. I have hurt.

01:52:19

It's worth mentioning when you.

01:52:20

If someone on the show wins a hundred fifty thousand dollars dollars on a 200 bet, it's. It's gonna get mentioned.

01:52:25

That's a great point.

01:52:26

But if the other person on the show cash out, that sucks. You made. That's.

01:52:29

No, it's okay. I'm learning. I made. I made the choice. I made the choice.

01:52:33

He just took you to school.

01:52:35

I know. Listen. And Hank knows that I'm about as down as a guy can be right now. I'm giving him a credit for everything. Telling him he's right. He's riding high. That's.

01:52:43

Honestly not. I kind of forgot. Yeah.

01:52:46

That's all I could think about.

01:52:47

I cashed out. I. I made $9,000 off the bet. And then I. I put a thousand on Trevor to score just for fun, and he scored. So I. So listen. I bet.

01:52:55

So you bet a hundred dollars on one fourteen thousand. I should feel bad.

01:52:59

It's. No, I'm not saying that. That's. Big Cat. That was saying.

01:53:01

I. I was defending you.

01:53:03

I. I'm okay. I know you were. I know. I. I know Hank was like needling. He was dancing around it. And then Big Cat was like.

01:53:09

Well, he.

01:53:09

Yeah, let's.

01:53:10

Let's talk about.

01:53:11

Hate being a dick right now. But, I mean, listen, end of the day, I bet 100 bucks and I made $14,000 off it. I can't. Yeah, I could have made 50 grand, but I didn't. I didn't. And I'll Learn from that, Hank.

01:53:24

You learn that.

01:53:25

That, honestly, honest to God, was not why I brought it up.

01:53:28

It just.

01:53:28

It should have got brought up. It's an insane bet, Hank.

01:53:32

You are.

01:53:32

You were a better fan than I am. You more successful than I am at rooting for football teams. You. You're better at watching football than I am. Like, I, I, one day, I want to be. I want to be.

01:53:43

You beat me in golf.

01:53:45

Oh, I have beaten you a few times.

01:53:46

That's facts.

01:53:47

Oh, you still. Guess what. I just made another $13,000.

01:53:51

Oh, yeah.

01:53:52

That's what Hank owes me.

01:53:53

Yeah.

01:53:53

Yeah, yeah.

01:53:54

Boom.

01:53:54

How much did you make today, Hank?

01:53:56

Me?

01:53:57

Yeah. None, buddy.

01:54:01

Scoring twice.

01:54:03

None. That was.

01:54:04

Yeah, 200 grand.

01:54:06

I, I, I would have to do this.

01:54:07

I'd have to do some math on net.

01:54:09

Why don't you do the math? Why don't we. We'll just pretend to be the IRS right now. What do you got net today? Give me some time.

01:54:20

You made a lot. You made that much.

01:54:22

Wow.

01:54:23

No, no, I actually, I like Hank owing me more than I. I think I would like getting the money.

01:54:28

Yeah.

01:54:29

I like just being able to let him know, definitely, anytime.

01:54:31

Piss you off. You're like, you owe me 13,000. Okay, next game. Rams 34, Saints 10. This was an absolute kicking. The Rams are awesome. The Rams are humming. I, devonte Adams and Matthew Stafford are in step now. The red zone weapon that he is is insane. And I don't. Tyler Shock incomplete. I don't know. You had a pretty hard start.

01:54:59

Like, just watching Tyler Schuck, I find myself saying, like, I cut this makes me miss Spencer Rattler.

01:55:05

Yeah. It was also very funny because it was. Tyler Schuck came out first. Three drives, three announce. What do you. What's the booth laughing about? Let's hear it.

01:55:14

Memes just had the camera on Hank trying to do the math. It's been on him for the past, like, two minutes, and he's just counting and, like, pointing in his head. How you doing over there?

01:55:31

I'm good.

01:55:31

I.

01:55:34

Don'T. You just know what you started the day with and what you ended the day with. Like, it's pretty easy to just, like, I think he's probably right now. And here was my account at the start of the day.

01:55:47

I think he might have.

01:55:48

I think that it's like. It's like $2,000. I won $2,000.

01:55:51

Oh, nice.

01:55:51

It's a good day.

01:55:52

It's a good day. Tyler Shuck, though. The first. His first three drives. You in three and out and then their first. First down was Taysom Hill coming in and running the ball, and it was like an old dog being like, this is what you need to do to do to get. To get 10 yards.

01:56:05

Yeah.

01:56:06

That's how you got to do it.

01:56:06

And when Taysom Hill gets in the game, it just. It's so much more fun. The offense can move occasionally, let's say some Hill start.

01:56:13

Yeah. Max and Zach, let's have a conversation similar to what we talked about with. With Hank, the Rams, because you guys are at the top of the nfc. The Rams, in my mind, are very much in that grouping in the top two to three teams. The NFC is loaded, man, but they're a scary team. Would you guys both agree, I think.

01:56:38

Any team led by Matthew Stafford at any moment could be a terrifying team.

01:56:42

That's true. I agree.

01:56:43

Yeah. It took the Eagles two buck kicks to beat them.

01:56:46

Yeah.

01:56:46

So.

01:56:46

Yes, that's true. Yeah. I mean, think about the teams. I'm just looking at the NFC right now. The Eagles, the Bucks, the Seahawks, the Packers. That's your top four seeds. So the Rams, who I think might be. You could make the argument they were the best team in the nfc, are not even. They're the fifth seed right now.

01:57:04

And then.

01:57:04

Yeah, you got the Niners, too, right.

01:57:06

With six in the Lions. Yeah, it's fucking. It's a gauntlet in the nfc. But, yeah, the Rams are playing really good football. And this was just. This was a laugher.

01:57:16

Is Puka okay?

01:57:17

Yeah, he had a chest injury that he landed.

01:57:20

It looked like he landed on the ball.

01:57:23

I don't know how to say this. Sean McVeigh said that he. He could have come back in, but it was such a blowout. He didn't want to put in his good players.

01:57:29

That's smart. That's why it's a great coach.

01:57:31

Smart, smart coach.

01:57:31

We could use a coach like that, like a young. If there's any young Sean McVeighs out there that are coaching on the commanders right now, that'd be good.

01:57:38

Yeah.

01:57:38

Keep that guy around.

01:57:39

Yeah. But I would say the only thing the Rams have to worry about is their kicker kind of stinks. So they got to figure out the kicker situation.

01:57:45

Yeah. I mean, Matt Stafford looks very, very healthy. Devonte Adams has been incredible. They just. They pretty much use him like, red zone.

01:57:53

That's what I'm saying.

01:57:53

He's their number one guy in the red zone. Yeah. And then outside the red zone, they do all the weird shit with Puka, and it always works. I hope hookah's okay. I think at, at worst it's probably broken rib.

01:58:03

No. Yeah. He said he would come back in the game if it was a close game.

01:58:07

Yeah.

01:58:07

So it's, it's totally fine. But yeah, the Cardi. Their kicker, I feel like has missed a decent amount of field goals. So that might be the thing they need to worry about to tighten up. Okay. Last game we have. Oh. Matthew Stafford is the fourth player to have through the first eight games 20 touchdowns and two 20 plus touchdowns and two or fewer interceptions, joining Rogers, Mahomes and Brady. And they. Brady and Rogers did it in two separate years. And I think two of those. One of those years for Rogers was mvp. One of those years for Brady was an mvp. Matthew Stafford, mvp. Just think about it.

01:58:48

And his boy Clinton Kershaw just won the World Series.

01:58:51

Yeah. I like how they kept on showing the pictures of Clayton Kershaw when he was like as a rookie and now and like, wow.

01:58:58

Yeah.

01:58:58

Yeah, dude, 20 years shitty. Looks different.

01:59:02

And I, I like how in the Rams games now they don't have to show the side by side the high school picture of Stafford and Kershaw because everybody know they just show Clayton Kershaw.

01:59:11

Yeah.

01:59:11

And like, you guys know why we're talking about Clayton Kershaw.

01:59:13

Here it is.

01:59:14

I find it very respectful of the audience.

01:59:16

Yeah. Matthew Stafford, mvp. Something to look at. What is the. Where's he at right now, Max? He's got 21 touchdowns, two interceptions. He's on pace right now. Projected to have a season where he would be 45 touchdowns, four interceptions, 4,500 yards. That would be an MVP. What is he. I can't read that far.

01:59:39

Plus 550.

01:59:41

I. That might be an interesting one.

01:59:43

Got Josh.

01:59:43

I mean, that's Mahomes. I. That's an interesting one. He's. He's never won an mvp. You could get the narrative going about him never winning an MVP and being a Hall of Fame quarterback. Let me look at their schedule. They got a big prime time game against the Bucks in a few weeks. They've got a Thursday night football game against. Oh. They got a week 17 Monday Night Football game against the Falcons. Matthew Stafford going back to Georgia to win the mvp.

02:00:20

That's a big story.

02:00:22

These are interesting thoughts, boys. Interesting thoughts. Okay. I have to act on that. Last game. Bills 28, Chiefs 21. The Bills played one. Their defense was very, very good. Mahomes didn't throw in. Touchdown pass. And they were, it felt like they had an answer for a Lot of what the Chiefs have been doing to James Cook and Josh Allen basically played perfect games.

02:00:51

Yeah. So Josh Allen had, I think a franchise record for a completion percentage.

02:00:55

He was 25 for 28.

02:00:56

And Patrick Mahomes had the worst completion percentage of his entire career.

02:01:00

Yeah.

02:01:01

And Joey Bosa looks good too. That's. That's. I think probably the biggest difference could be for the Bills. You have a guy where in the playoffs, theoretically, if you had a lead, you have a guy that can shut down the opposing quarterback.

02:01:14

Yeah. Josh Allen was 23 for 26. I misspoke the story though. Like, Josh Allen played perfect, but we've seen him play perfect before. James Cook was awesome, but we've seen him play awesome before. That was actually the first time in 27 games that the Chiefs have given up 100 yard rusher, which is pretty crazy. Regular season, obviously. I think Saquon did that in the super bowl last year. D, not Max. I think he definitely did, right?

02:01:40

Yeah.

02:01:40

Yeah. But to me, because like, I expected Josh Allen to play at his best against Patrick Mahomes. Same with James Cook. It was the Bill's defense, which has got a lot of injuries and has a lot of question marks that they stepped up to the plate and played really well. And Mahomes never got into a rhythm. He never felt comfortable. And that was the. That was. The big story from here is can the Bills replicate that type of defensive performance if they meet again in the playoffs?

02:02:08

You know who played really well is their cornerbacks. Yeah, the Bills cornerbacks are.

02:02:12

Harrison is now back, their first round pick.

02:02:14

Yeah, Harrison being back, he was unworthy, I think, for most of the game. And to be able to run with that guy and shut him down was really impressive. And I. Yeah, it's going to suck without Ed Oliver in there. But when you go against a team like the Chiefs that aren't really. They're not known for running the ball down your throat, you have the perfect formula to beat them.

02:02:31

Yeah.

02:02:32

So I don't know if the Bills and the Chiefs will play each other in the playoffs this year, obviously, but if they do, I. I can already tell you I'm going to like the Bills again.

02:02:39

Yeah. I mean, that was, that was a big game. That's. Could be a big game for seating. The Bills are. Yeah. It feels like because they're scheduled. They should. They don't have. I mean, they have some tough games coming up. They've had to play the Bucks in a couple weeks. The Bucks play everyone. It's crazy. They do Feels like the Bucks play everyone.

02:03:04

Difficult schedule.

02:03:05

Difficult schedule. But, yeah, this was a big game proceeding. And for staying on pace with the Patriots, were you rooting for the Chiefs in this game?

02:03:15

Yeah.

02:03:15

Really?

02:03:16

Yeah.

02:03:17

Because you. Because of seating. Wow.

02:03:20

And, yeah. I want the Chiefs to climb a little higher, and I want the Bills.

02:03:24

To climb a little lower.

02:03:25

Yeah.

02:03:27

That makes sense.

02:03:29

You know who has the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback?

02:03:32

And of course, when you're looking for the Chiefs for one time, they. They got a rigged call against them.

02:03:37

What do you mean?

02:03:38

The intentional grounding on a tip ball.

02:03:42

Oh, yeah.

02:03:43

Was a insane call.

02:03:44

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:03:46

Made no sense.

02:03:46

I still think that that ball was going to be thrown to nobody even if it was touch. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Josh Allen now has the most rushing touchdowns by any quarterback in NFL history. Regular season and playoffs.

02:03:58

He has. He is 47 times in his career thrown for a touchdown and run for a touchdown in the same game.

02:04:04

He's so good.

02:04:04

That's insane. 47 times I saw that sign, I was like, wait, that can't be right. It is right.

02:04:09

He's so good.

02:04:10

He's so good. He played a perfect game.

02:04:12

Yep.

02:04:12

And I. It's like, what. This game is tough to recap just because we know the history of these two teams and the fact that the Chiefs do beat the Bills every time in the playoffs, it's like, I'm sure Bills fans feel the same way. That was an awesome win. You're very excited about it. You're excited that you're really good again, but you got to do it in the playoffs.

02:04:29

Yeah. And if you're a Chiefs fan, you're probably given the hole that you got in to start the season, you definitely felt a strong need to win this game. But you can always lose this game and say, okay, we'll see him in the playoffs.

02:04:40

Yeah. And I think the Chiefs. The biggest question for the Chiefs is, because Mahomes will figure it out, is their. Their front seven didn't look great today. James Cook was able to get whatever he wanted. It felt like the Bills were able to run in any third down. They were in control of the game, whereas the Chiefs on the opposite end. It felt like they were in a lot of third downs where they weren't in control.

02:04:59

Yep.

02:04:59

And they were kind of. Mahomes was running backwards and had nowhere to go.

02:05:02

Yeah. But the offense for the Bills looks good. I think that they're going to try to get a receiver.

02:05:08

Yeah, I think.

02:05:09

I think they will.

02:05:10

Who? Who?

02:05:11

It's a good Question. There's some names out there.

02:05:14

Who's out there? Who?

02:05:18

Calvin Ridley.

02:05:19

Calvin Ridley. George Pickens.

02:05:22

George Pickens out there.

02:05:23

They care. The Cowboys would be crazy to let him go. Yeah, but someone gave him a pick. You don't have him signed. He could always come back.

02:05:32

Mm.

02:05:33

Right.

02:05:34

Debo.

02:05:35

Oh, are you. Are you putting Debo on the trade trade block? I'm.

02:05:41

I'm in such a down bad spot. I'm gonna say some things that I probably won't mean.

02:05:46

So. Do you mean this one?

02:05:47

I don't know yet. I'm just. Yeah. Yeah. It depends on what you can get. I love. I love Debo. He's a great, great Terry. Listen, Terry hasn't played.

02:05:58

I know. Would you trade him?

02:06:00

The team's not going to be. We're not going to be competitive until probably two seasons. I think 2020. I might get a Washington Commanders 2027 Super bowl tattoo.

02:06:13

So you trade Terry. You do. You do need draft picks.

02:06:17

I think everybody. That's that after a game like this, nobody except for Jaden is untradable.

02:06:24

It's because he said the last part.

02:06:25

Yeah.

02:06:26

What if it was five first round picks for Jaden? No, five first round picks.

02:06:32

We're probably gonna whiff on all of them.

02:06:34

I was gonna.

02:06:35

That's Ron Rivera, post traumatic stress disorder.

02:06:38

Three first round picks. And Josh Allen.

02:06:43

That what I. I would think about it.

02:06:47

The answer's yeah.

02:06:48

Three first round picks.

02:06:50

Three first round picks. And Drake May and Josh Allen.

02:06:53

Not Josh Allen.

02:06:54

Oh, no, no, no deal.

02:06:56

Josh Allen for Jaden Daniels straight up.

02:07:00

You know. You know, I can't say that. You don't. You don't lose your job for injury.

02:07:06

Drake May for Jane Daniels straight up.

02:07:09

No.

02:07:09

Boy.

02:07:10

No. You thought about that a little? No. There's a lot of Drakes coming at me right there. I didn't know which one you were talking about for a second. I would listen to it. To a Josh Allen for Jaden trade. I would listen to that.

02:07:23

I would hope so.

02:07:24

I would pick up the phone.

02:07:25

I would hope.

02:07:26

You got to make me say no.

02:07:27

Yeah. I think you'd have to say yes to that.

02:07:30

That's how much I love Buffalo. That's what I'm saying. I would say yes, but that's just because. How much?

02:07:34

But if you think Jaden.

02:07:35

Bill's fans.

02:07:36

Jaden is as good as you're giving. He's in good hands.

02:07:39

He's in great hands.

02:07:40

Yeah. Very excited to have.

02:07:41

Be the nicest thing that I've ever done.

02:07:44

Well, I just had to ask that question because you're, you're open for business.

02:07:47

I'm open for business. I want to hear every trade, every trade proposal going in the deadline. No one is untouchable except for Jayn Daniels. Unless it's Josh Allen and some first round picks.

02:07:58

Yeah, okay, let's do a couple more ads and let's talk some World Series. Probably the best game maybe ever.

02:08:07

Yeah.

02:08:07

Been on best World Series ever. Yeah. All right, do those ads and then we'll talk some World Series before we get to baseball.

02:10:17

Okay, boys. World Series congratulations to the Los Angeles Dodgers, back to back champs. First time since the Yankees did it over 20 years ago. That was one of the greatest World Series, like start to finish. I don't know. I don't know what like people were throwing out rankings, obviously 2016, I'd rank pretty high, but like some of those games weren't as exciting. You didn't have the 18 inning game. You had what the Diamondbacks Yankees World Series was, was pretty high up.

02:10:48

That was a good one.

02:10:50

That was insane. That, what a World Series.

02:10:52

It was incredible. Every game had its own like little unique personality to it and was crazy. It was nuts. Like game.

02:10:59

Well, we didn't. Game six, obviously, Friday night.

02:11:02

Game six on Friday on Halloween. Just nuts. Just the, the ending to it. A lot of this is like a really tough World Series for Blue Jays fans because I think, yeah, I think the worst series to lose in baseball are the ones that you look back on and you remember the base running mistakes because a base running error will stick with you for 30 years.

02:11:23

That the Blue Jays. So there was an analyst who said afterwards that he felt like the better team didn't win. That's. It was a Blue Jays analyst. That's a, that's a lame thing to say because the Dodgers won the World Series and they deserve to win. But if the Blue Jays could have just been a little bit better on base running, they, they probably would have won that World Series. The Dodgers hit like 200 in the world Series. They had timely hits. The Blue Jays had a lot, like a lot better of an offense. They played incredible defense and they just didn't have the little things that the Dodgers were able to do set. Friday night we had the wedgie, which. That was a correct call. I know people were very upset. They were arguing. I don't know if that's. Max, you're a baseball expert. You knew right away, right?

02:12:10

Yeah, I mean that's, that's every baseball field in America, right, Has that rule.

02:12:15

That ball hit the wall at the base, stuck immediately. You put your hands up immediately. 10 times out of 10. That's a ground rule. It sucks when you got a guy in first base and he definitely would have scored and so that's a bummer.

02:12:28

Well, no, he. I don't think he would have scored if that ball had bounced normally.

02:12:32

That is the rule.

02:12:32

It would have been close it would have close.

02:12:34

But, but, but the, the, the people were upset because who was playing, who was. Who grabbed it. I can't remember who grabbed it, but they were like, oh, well, he grabbed it right after. He shouldn't have grabbed it. That's not how the root, like the umps had their hands up right away. Yes. The broadcast said that. The minute it happened, I was like, I know exactly what's about to happen because it's clearly stuck. You throw your hands up. So that was the argument that people were making. Was that because the Dodgers grabbed it like a few seconds after and it was so easy to grab, it shouldn't have counted. But that's just not how the rule is interpreted.

02:13:08

Right.

02:13:09

So that sucked really bad for the Blue Jays because that was just an incredibly unlucky bounce. But then they also had an insane base running error to end that game where you had the guy going like way too far off second base on a short fly ball to get doubled up to end the game.

02:13:30

That was a great playboat though, by. Was that Hernandez? Yeah, yeah, there was a great throw that he had. Very heads up. But yeah, he was way too far off the base.

02:13:37

And then they had on Saturday night, the slide that was. I don't think he should have slid. He should have ran through, through home. That's like Max.

02:13:47

Again, the slide isn't as bad. He has 0 lead at third base when there's no way he's getting picked off in that spot. He has zero lead and he has no secondary.

02:14:01

Right.

02:14:01

Either of he has one more step there.

02:14:03

He's safe.

02:14:04

And I think honestly, if he doesn't slide, he might be safe because it's a force out. So you run through the bag just like you're running to first base now.

02:14:10

Now, Matt, what about the lack of secondary lead because you can't get doubled up there. So if there's a line drive hit to the infield, you always, you always have.

02:14:20

It's a lefty. It's a lefty hitter going and, and yes, you, you, of course, like if Muncie makes an unreal play and then tags third. But you have. It's a lefty hitter. The odds are he's not going to hit it. A scream screaming line drive right at Muncie.

02:14:37

Yeah, he's so. He is so close to the bag. Like he could take two more steps and still get back.

02:14:44

Yeah. But then we had. I mean, the game was just so insane. Yamamoto is not human. That was one of the coolest things I think I'VE ever seen on a baseball field. The guy pitched a complete game in Game 2. He pitched well. How many pitches do you have in game three? Or I mean, sorry, game six. 97, 97, 97. Six innings in game game six on Friday night. One day later, he comes back out and pitches two and two thirds to end the game. I don't know how, like, guys don't. There have been guys who have done one day of rest. He just did no days of rest. He won, he won three games in the World Series. Hadn't been done since. I think Randy Johnson, I think it's only been done four times in, in Major League baseball history. I'm still in shock that he was so effective and so good and he tried to pitch game three in the 18 inning game. He told, he told Dave Roberts, I'm ready to go. He's not human.

02:15:46

His velo was higher in game seven than it was in game six.

02:15:49

It's, it's crazy, man.

02:15:51

Anyone who has pitched a lot, like, knows the very next day after a long start like that, like your arm is like hanging like. Yeah, I, I have no idea how he was able to do that.

02:16:02

Insane. Yeah. It happened four other times. Randy Johnson, 2001, Mickey Lowlick in 1968, Bob Gibson in 1967 and Lou Burdette in 1950. 57. Insane. And guys, it's not only that, but like some, the, the three of them happening in the 50s and 60s, guys used to pitch a lot more. Now no one pitches past the sixth inning. The fact that he, in game two, the fact that he threw a complete game, I thought was one of the coolest things because we don't see it ever. Denny comes back and pitches game six and then he comes back and wins game seven. It's insane.

02:16:39

It also used to happen all the time because guys weren't throwing is hard. So now you're putting so much more strain on your shoulder and your elbow than you were back in like the 60s that to be able to do it right now is pretty much impossible.

02:16:51

Yeah.

02:16:51

To come out there with that type of speed late on in the series. It was, it was awesome to watch. And the, the showdowns that he had with Vladdy Jr at the plate were so fun. So fun. I'm bummed for Blue Jays fans.

02:17:05

Oh, it's just, it's, it's, it's the worst World Series loss, I would say, since now, obviously the Indians in 2016. But the probably go back to like the Rangers in 2011 when they were two yeah, they were, I think they were two strikes away. Twice.

02:17:24

That was the craziest. That was when I was thinking of like the craziest World Series.

02:17:27

Yeah.

02:17:28

Of late. Whereas, like, that was. They were that close in game six and then lost.

02:17:34

But yeah, the Blue Jays were, were, were two outs away. And, and you thought that gate, that, that ninth inning, you thought, well, it's just going to come down to show, hey, he's the third up in the sending and Rojas hadn't done. And then he hits that home run. And I think even Joe Davis says he's like, wow, like, I can't believe it. This guy just hit a home run.

02:17:53

My heart breaks for Jared o', Connell, lifelong Blue Jays fan. He was at both the games in Toronto.

02:17:58

He went to like 60 innings of, of World Series Series baseball in the last four days.

02:18:02

Yeah.

02:18:02

There's no way that we won our fantasy matchup this week.

02:18:05

Let me check. I think you might be right. Let's see.

02:18:09

Miguel Rojas. No homers off a right handed pitcher all season. Terrible against righties. Barely played all postseason. Two outs away from the season ending. And then he hits a home run off Hoffman.

02:18:20

We blew him out. We blew him out.

02:18:21

Oh, okay. He streamed the right players.

02:18:24

He streamed all the right players. It looks like 99, chance of a win.

02:18:27

It was just such a Shocking, shocking. And yeah, Yamamoto, like that, that was, that was Madison Baumgartner. That was what it was. It was. We see this once every 10, 15 years. Randy Johnson before that, where a guy is like, I'm gonna put the entire team on my back and just pitch every high leverage situation and win this World Series.

02:18:48

You know what else was cool? We almost saw Game 7 Brawl in the World.

02:18:52

Yes.

02:18:52

Which, which you never get. You never get a World Series brawl, which.

02:18:56

I was on the Dodger side on that one. Yeah, that was crazy.

02:18:59

I mean, he did try to. He tried to get hit by the pitch, took his hand off the bat and like leaned into it. Yeah, that's probably a tip he learned from Kevin Biggio, from his old man when he was there.

02:19:08

Yeah.

02:19:09

But crazy World Series and it was so much. I was so bummed out when the World Series was over because this is.

02:19:16

I've been the baseball day.

02:19:17

The baseball has been so good.

02:19:19

I want there to be another game. These two teams were so good and the Blue Jays were so close. And it just comes down to the little tiny, you know, mistakes that they made that, I mean, they were quite literally four inches away from winning the.

02:19:35

World Series or Less.

02:19:36

Yeah, on that. On that play at the plate.

02:19:39

And you're right. Run through home plate.

02:19:41

Run through home plate.

02:19:42

It's like a quarter second faster.

02:19:44

The.

02:19:44

What do you think about bunting Sack Bunt.

02:19:47

Didn't love it.

02:19:49

I didn't either.

02:19:49

Yeah, didn't love it. Max, did you have any thoughts on the. Max just kept on tweeting. Baseball rocks. It does.

02:19:58

It does rock.

02:19:58

What did you think, Max, where you're. You're a baseball expert. You are.

02:20:04

I know.

02:20:04

I trust your thoughts on the game.

02:20:06

It was. I mean, it was. It was an unbelievable World Series. It was so fun to watch it. It's. It's.

02:20:12

I.

02:20:13

There's nothing more I can say. It sucks that it's over, and I'm excited for next year.

02:20:17

What's. Ernie Clement had the most hits in postseason history. Dude was hitting like 400. He had so many fucking hits. The Blue Jays were so good, and they were so close, and they just. Man, it's. It is brutal. It's. It's brutal for Toronto. I do feel bad. The Dodgers. I. I know people, like, hate the Dodgers for how they spend and stuff. I get it. I mean, the Blue Jays also spend. They offered. They were in the show. Hey, sweepstakes. They don't spend like the Dodgers do. It is funny. Like, the Dodgers, even. Even though they spend so much money, you always get to a point in baseball where you trust the guys you trust. They basically didn't use relievers in that Game seven. I mean, I know Rebelowski was a reliever in the second half of the season, but he was converted. Like Blake Snell came in. They were just like, we need to use our best pitchers. And these are the guys.

02:21:11

And also last now came in Shout out Mad Max. Going out there, doing it one last time.

02:21:16

I know.

02:21:16

I. I think that for this year, if you need one big game pitcher for me, it would be Max Scherzer. Just to be able to have him go out there and be a complete and total psycho. And he. He delivered on it. Obviously. Can't get the number of innings out of him that you used to get back in the day, but he did a great job for probably, like, one of his last. He might not have too many more years in him, but this was. It was a great job by him.

02:21:39

Yeah. And it was. We also got to see the Dodgers owner who now owns the Lakers, Mark Walter, who I'm. I still don't understand. He. He lives in Chicago. He's from Iowa. I wish he would buy the Bears and The Cubs. But he had a quote that, this is why I can't be mad at the Dodgers. And I get it, they spend a lot of money, but this guy might be the best owner in all of sports. Because afterwards he did an interview and they were talking about the. Yamamoto. And he. He also, like, he. He isn't like a very public owner. You don't really see him very often, but. So this is from the athletic Dodgers owner Mark Walter. The billionaire's chief executive, Guggenheim partner, said Yamamoto was a good bet because of his age. He's 27 now. And that he did not want to miss a rare opportunity to sign a pitcher of his caliber. He trusts the evaluations of Friedman and his staff. They make all the decisions. I just tell them, yes, that's what an owner should do. He has really smart baseball people. He just says yes. And they look at what.

02:22:39

Look at signing a guy like Yamamoto. Did you. You think you're good? Most owners would be like, oh, no, we got enough starting pitching. We're fine. They signed a guy to the. The biggest contract out of Japan and he's. He won them the World Series.

02:22:54

Yeah. You got an owner who is a blank check that just does whatever you tell him to do. You identify the best players and he's like, okay, we'll do that. That's the dream.

02:23:02

Yeah. Unbelievable. I am bummed the World Series is over.

02:23:06

Also. I wanted.

02:23:07

I wanted it to be. I was. I was envisioning a world where it was like the 18th inning in like Vladdy was. Was closing the game.

02:23:14

Yeah.

02:23:14

Win the game for the Jays.

02:23:16

Yeah.

02:23:16

Memes. You were so close.

02:23:19

So close.

02:23:20

And you know, deep down, what that would have done for you. I would have been the. I would have been the PMT baseball expert. Well, not. Not only that, but like when we say things like, hey, have you ever gotten the lottery ball? You'd been like, hey, have you ever predicted the World Series to the final at that.

02:23:38

Yeah.

02:23:39

To a T. And we would have had to say no, but unfortunately you didn't. And he hit. He launched that. That ball in the. In the bottom of the ninth.

02:23:47

He had 101 mph exit velocity, 32 degree launch angle. There have been six such bad balls.

02:23:53

This season, and four of them were home runs. Oh, yeah.

02:23:56

That's tough. Was it. So this is a ballpark related.

02:23:59

Yeah, he just hit it to the wrong. He just hit his dead center.

02:24:01

Yeah.

02:24:02

Dead center. It's also funny because Gaz was like, Max almost called it. And then everyone corrected him and he Was like, same thing. Memes, Max, same thing. Like that was memes like, same thing.

02:24:15

I thought the Blue Jays were going to win on Friday. I think it was the eighth inning when Boba Shet stepped up to the plate. Yeah. And I think he had two runners on or three runners. I forget if it was bases load or not. But the swings, he was put on the. Like he was a man that was in the box thinking, like, this has been my destiny to hit this home run right now and win the World Series. And he just didn't connect on it.

02:24:34

And he hit that huge one on Saturday night, the three run homer.

02:24:38

Then he bounced back. Yeah, yeah.

02:24:39

Because he was on one leg. Like he had that. He had Roman. Where they. Anyone else they probably could have sent and he couldn't be sent. And everyone was complaining. Like, why is Boba Shet in the game if he can't run?

02:24:51

Yeah.

02:24:51

He just always in the game because he just launched a three run homer A couple innings later.

02:24:54

He just looked over at third base coach like, you know, I can't make that.

02:24:57

Yeah, man. What a World Series. Ah, it really was like, hug your.

02:25:03

Nearest third base coach.

02:25:04

It was, it was the rare. It was the rare Sports moment. Game 7. You're watching it and you're like this. We are watching one of the best games. Like the. In terms of the drama.

02:25:17

Yeah.

02:25:17

And everything that was. I mean, Miguel Rojas hitting that home run. I. I just.

02:25:22

He made the play at home or he made.

02:25:24

Yeah. Yeah. We also now have six. Six years in a row that Will Smith has won a World Series.

02:25:30

Yeah.

02:25:30

It's only two guys and. But it still is.

02:25:34

One guy won the last three and then no.

02:25:37

1 guy. The one last two, then the other. Will Smith, the relief pitcher was on the Braves. He was on. Yeah, he was. I think he was on the Braves. And then who else? He was on the. He was on the Braves, the. The Astros and the Rangers. So the Rangers were most recently. And then Dodgers. Will Smith won the year before that in Covet.

02:26:00

Yeah.

02:26:01

Yeah. So incredible. Yeah. It seems like a cooler stat until you realize just two guys.

02:26:07

It's just two guys. Yeah. When I, When I saw that, I bookmarked it immediately and I was like, I gotta check this out. Oh, yeah, yeah.

02:26:13

It's too good.

02:26:14

Yes.

02:26:15

But still cool. And Will Smith hits a massive, massive home run that wins the game.

02:26:20

Yeah.

02:26:20

And he. That was kind of my. That's the thing with the Dodgers. Like, Will Smith is really, really good. He's really good. He's One of the best catchers in baseball, but there still are better hitters than him on the Dodgers roster. And so. But that's how deep the Dodgers are. Dudes after dudes after dudes.

02:26:38

Yeah. And the.

02:26:39

And Mookie Bets, by the way, being, like, just all of a sudden the.

02:26:42

Best shortstop after saying, like, I stink.

02:26:45

And he was right.

02:26:45

Mookie Bets did not have.

02:26:46

He hit, like.

02:26:47

No, he did, but he played incredible in the field.

02:26:49

And also great Game seven.

02:26:51

Yeah.

02:26:52

I thought you were gonna say, like, they did all that with Mookie Betts hitting like shit.

02:26:56

No. Well, I mean, they could afford. Yeah.

02:26:58

Mookie Betts to hit.

02:26:58

Right.

02:26:59

Like shit. And still won the world.

02:27:00

But I was more. His defense was out of this world. No, the Dodgers, I saw the stat. They hit. They hit.204 in the world Series. I think they hit. Hold on, I'm gonna pull up the stat. It's pretty crazy. The Dodgers batted.203 in the world Series, the worst mark by a champion since 1966. Over the last two seasons, they batted a combined 204 in the world Series and won both years.

02:27:21

Yeah.

02:27:23

Nuts.

02:27:24

And how about the bottom of the night? That. That catch in the out.

02:27:27

Oh, my God.

02:27:28

That. It was.

02:27:30

He had just come in, like, two seconds before.

02:27:32

Yeah. They put him in center field, and then Kike was in left field. And Kike looked like that was his ball. He was going over his shoulder.

02:27:39

It was.

02:27:39

It was his ball. And then Pajes comes in and just takes it from scratches.

02:27:44

I thought that was. I also didn't know. Max. Why were they. I know why they were in earlier. They were playing in. Because there was bases loaded with one out. But as soon as they got the second out, it. Cause that made no sense. That ball got hit, and I was like, that's a routine out. And then they. They showed to the outfield. I'm like, holy fuck. These guys are really far away from this. They're still in. It was nuts. Yeah.

02:28:07

That made no sense.

02:28:08

I mean, that. That is one of the best catches, like, considering what was at stake for that. Because I. That was bases loaded right? Bottom of the ninth.

02:28:16

Yeah.

02:28:16

To make that catch.

02:28:17

Yeah. Yeah.

02:28:18

Absolutely incredible after.

02:28:20

After sitting for nine innings.

02:28:22

Yeah.

02:28:22

And coming in the game, we also should just say, thank God that they got the call at the plate. Correct.

02:28:31

Yeah.

02:28:31

Because that would have been the worst, most anti. Climactic way to end a World Series if they had gone to replay and then called it. Yeah, that would have sucked.

02:28:41

Have the umpire go out on the field.

02:28:43

Yeah.

02:28:43

Just like.

02:28:44

Yeah, we up.

02:28:45

Yeah.

02:28:45

Like I was the whole time. I was like, whatever they call. They have to be, right?

02:28:48

Yeah.

02:28:49

Imagine the opposite. That they. Oh, that would have been the worst.

02:28:52

That would have been crazy.

02:28:56

They celebrate.

02:28:57

Oh, I mean, well, yeah, I mean, they would have. They would have had to like, you undog pile. How do you do that?

02:29:03

The dog pile lasts forever.

02:29:05

Yeah. What did you say? Memes. You got to talk memes when you.

02:29:10

Sorry. Ohio State. Miami.

02:29:12

Yeah. Yep. Yeah, you're right. See, that's where memes. Turn on your mic. Fucking add good shit to the show. Zach, did you watch the game? I did. You. Sir, were you worried at all about the emergency pod?

02:29:24

I kept.

02:29:24

I kept every screen around me on full brightness for any notification to pop up. I know I shouldn't have been worried, but just in case. Oh, man, I'm gonna miss this World Series.

02:29:36

I do wonder what Jerry's deal was. Switching back and forth.

02:29:39

I think he got invited by the Blue Jays to go to the games. That's what he told us.

02:29:43

Just being. Yeah, just. Also, it was great to see him on the celebrity cam on Friday night. That was. That was great.

02:29:48

He said he's like, I'm a Mets fan. I. I just go to the Dodgers game because I like to go to ball games. And then I think because he had bad seats, the Blue Jays invited him.

02:29:56

Yeah.

02:29:56

To go to Toronto, which was very funny. I mean, just Jerry o' Connell just being. And then. Yeah. Being on the. On the actual game. Fox showing him was awesome.

02:30:09

Jerry, he won a game, right?

02:30:11

He won the 18 innings.

02:30:13

He won.

02:30:13

He. He lost game four, six and seven.

02:30:18

Yeah.

02:30:19

Tough. Yeah. Doing the switch up back in the. Oh, man. Yeah, the. Hank, you had some awls out there going bing bong in your free.

02:30:30

A lot of bing bongs. Always. Never ends.

02:30:33

All right, well, we'll wait till pitchers and catchers.

02:30:37

Jerry looked handsome on the celebrity cam.

02:30:39

He did. Very handsome. Good. He's a good looking dude. I'd him. You wouldn't.

02:30:46

Hank, he just tweets out like pictures with like, girl fans and just like. Hotties.

02:30:52

Yeah.

02:30:53

Yeah.

02:30:53

Bizarre.

02:30:53

Well, he's with his wife. I think he can sweet whatever he wants, I guess. Yeah. Just calling everyone hotties. Blue Jays hotties. Yeah, he was feeling himself. I mean, Jerry's the funniest, so I. He could do whatever the fuck he wants. Okay, should we finish up with who's back of the week? Let's do that. It is brought to you by our friends at Twisted Tea. 02:32:01

Thank you.

02:32:02

Maybe we'll be back after.

02:32:03

If the jets beat the Patriots. My, my. Who's back of the week is Joel Embiid.

02:32:09

What happened?

02:32:10

He's back. He's playing. It's good to see him back on the court. Played against. I forgot who they were playing Friday night, but they lost the game. And in the game, he did a. He did the dx. Suck it. And then he got fined for doing that. But then he had a very funny tweet. It was the. You know, NBA communications released, like, Joel and the Embiid has been fined for a lewd gesture. And then he said, y' all better start finding the rest for doing the lewd blocking foul gesture since I'm not allowed to do it.it. hashtag NFL. He's back.

02:32:46

Joan B's back. Max, are you gonna go to the game on Tuesday night? No.

02:32:51

After dark stream.

02:32:53

Ah, Bulls are good.

02:32:55

Do we have a clip of him doing that, though?

02:32:57

Yeah. Yeah. Can we see it?

02:32:58

I want to see what he got.

02:32:59

Doing it.

02:32:59

Yeah.

02:32:59

All the time.

02:33:00

I know, but, yeah, I want to see what he got. What he got fined for.

02:33:03

You're buying in, right, Max?

02:33:05

Yeah.

02:33:06

Five and one.

02:33:07

They look.

02:33:07

They look great.

02:33:09

Who'd you lose?

02:33:11

You also lost to the Sixers.

02:33:13

Who'd you lose?

02:33:14

We were five. We lost the Celtics by one point. The Celtics were up 25 in that game. We're so close to.

02:33:22

But the one. So five and one, you say?

02:33:23

So what happened in game one?

02:33:25

That was game one.

02:33:26

It's.

02:33:27

That was game four.

02:33:28

But who'd you lose? Huh? Saying who'd you lose?

02:33:33

Was it in the NBA Cup?

02:33:35

Good question.

02:33:36

It's a good point because it's the cup. This was the cup.

02:33:39

It wasn't even, like, nearly as egregious as he normally does.

02:33:42

I also love how the NBA is now taking all our really constructive criticism that we had from the Finals last year about like, you got to put the trophy on the court.

02:33:49

Yeah.

02:33:50

And they're like, say less. We got lots of trophy on the court for the NBA Cup.

02:33:54

Oh, that wasn't a. Oh, that was just a. That was like a side one. That's not even a real one.

02:34:01

That is also the blocking that. He's right about that.

02:34:04

Yeah.

02:34:07

Max, who'd you almost lose? Almost lose. Yeah. Who'd you almost lose?

02:34:12

They almost won.

02:34:13

Wizards.

02:34:14

You almost lose to the Wizards.

02:34:15

You almost lose is actually a win, though.

02:34:18

Oh, that's true.

02:34:20

Yeah. But who'd you almost.

02:34:22

We almost.

02:34:23

Yeah, I'm aware.

02:34:24

A lot of almost loses.

02:34:25

Almost.

02:34:26

Almost lose to the Hornets one by a ton today. The Nets stink. Stink.

02:34:33

Yeah, there's some. There's some. There's some bad NBA teams just in general that every year there's like a few. There's like, you guys should be bad.

02:34:43

Yeah.

02:34:43

You're just going to be bad the whole time. That's. Or that team should be bad. They're going to be a lot of bad. Okay, good. Who's back?

02:34:55

Thanks.

02:34:56

Good.

02:34:56

Who's back? My. Who's back of the week is the Irish. The Irish are back. I. I did go to the New Zealand Ireland game.

02:35:07

And he's gonna knock out Floyd Mayweather, so. Floyd, watch out.

02:35:13

The Irish are coming. You talk all you want, but you'll do nothing. He did something.

02:35:19

Yeah.

02:35:20

In that one. But, yeah, I went to the rugby game and it was Ireland against New Zealand at Soldier Field. Awesome showing out by the Irish fans and the New Zealand fans. It was a sellout there, and the game was a lot of fun to watch. There will be a trilogy because now they're one and one. Hopefully it won't take another 10 years for the third one. But I was. I was sitting next to one of the stadium operations people 10 minutes into the game, and she got on her little, like, walkie talkie thing and she goes, oh, no. Oh, no, we're out of Guinness. And I was like, what? And she's like, yeah, we. We sold out of Guinness for the entire stadium.

02:35:54

Oh, no.

02:35:54

At Soldier Field 10 minutes into the game. So awesome job. And they planned ahead for this, too. They're like, hey, just so you know, there's going to be like 60,000 Irish people that are going to be coming to this game ready to drink beer. We need to order way more Guinness than you think. And the Irish still out drank them. They still drank all the Guinness in the entire building 10 minutes into the game.

02:36:15

That's incredible.

02:36:16

Which was pretty incredible. Yeah. So respect to. To the Irish fans out there. But you can watch the. The All Blacks came into the office last week and taught Max how to form tackle Hank so he doesn't get stiff armed anymore.

02:36:27

Those guys are the best.

02:36:28

They are the best.

02:36:29

They were so much fun.

02:36:30

But it was such a kick ass game. And yeah, if you have the opportunity to go watch New Zealand or Ireland play rugby, highly recommend it.

02:36:36

Where are they playing?

02:36:37

It's a great time.

02:36:37

Are they playing somewhere else in the States?

02:36:39

I don't think they're playing another. It's like a very rare thing to have have two of the best three teams in the world play a game against each other in the U.S. the Gallagher cup is what they call it.

02:36:49

Who won the game?

02:36:50

So New Zealand won.

02:36:51

So okay.

02:36:53

So the All Blacks won. Which is why there's gonna be a trilogy.

02:36:56

Okay.

02:36:56

There's gonna be a third.

02:36:57

Got it. I love that.

02:36:59

Yep.

02:37:00

Okay. My who's back of the week is coaches getting fired because we did it again. Every single weekend we get one. Hugh Freeze got fired.

02:37:06

Yep. Felt like that was kind of inevitable.

02:37:10

Yeah. It basically late Saturday night a coach will walk out of his stadium and all the fans will stick around in a loss and just booed the ever living out of the guy. And then everyone say, well, that guy's probably gonna get fired. And that was this week with Hugh Freeze and Auburn.

02:37:31

How much of Hugh Freeze and his golfing history being published do you think had to do with his firing?

02:37:38

Probably a little. It also was that they scored three points against Kentucky at home.

02:37:41

Yep.

02:37:42

And lost 10 to 3 to Kentucky. So. But yeah, this is every single week now. So Auburn is now open.

02:37:49

Yeah. Lane Kiffin just keeps. He keeps cashing checks.

02:37:52

You want to hear a crazy weird stat? Blake Byler tweeted this. This will be the seventh straight Iron bowl with a unique head coaching matchup.

02:38:02

That's fun.

02:38:03

Isn't that crazy? 2019 Saban vs Malzahn. 2020 Sarkeesian vs Malzahn because Nick Saban had Covid. 2021 Saban vs Harson. Remember? Remember Harson? That was weird.

02:38:14

Yep.

02:38:15

Boise. That made no sense. And they just ran him out of town. 2022 Saban versus Cadillac Williams because he was interim. 2023 Saban verse freeze. 2024 Deboer versus freeze. And now 2025 Deboer versus dirt. Working Auburn like the Iron Bull doesn't really, in its history, doesn't have that. Seven straight years. Seven straight years.

02:38:38

But yeah, every time, every time a coach at a big university gets fired, it, it does feel like Lane Kiffin is like, this is extremely good because I don't think he's going to leave, but every opening that comes up, that comes open. He's just like, this is, this is going to be another thing that I can add to my Give me an extension now conversation.

02:38:57

Yeah. Auburn is definitely in the back of the line in terms of SEC jobs with LSU in Florida. Yeah, open. But Auburn, I mean, they're also a team, a school. Like, they have won national titles, you know, in the recent memory. So, yeah, they've, they've, they've had those crazy years. But Hugh Freeze. I thought it would work. Dang. Thought it would work. Also, Dylan Rail out for the year. That kind of sucked.

02:39:25

Yeah, the fibula a lot.

02:39:27

A lot.

02:39:27

Nebraska was looking good, too.

02:39:29

Yeah. Zach finishes off my.

02:39:33

Who's back of the week is going.

02:39:34

To be Rob Dyrdek.

02:39:35

This week, Rob Dyrdek's run in MTV has finally come to an end. Oh, Fantasy. Or whether that be through Robin Big, the Fantasy Factory and the most recent cancelation. Ridiculousness. Yep. After 14 years, 46 seasons, ridiculousness is no more. So were they still making new episodes or were they just replaying old ones?

02:39:56

So they're going to be. They're like always cycling old ones. If you go to the channel, he's like a huge time block of the programming.

02:40:03

But they do have new episodes filmed.

02:40:06

Already and those are going to air through 2026.

02:40:09

Oh, that's good. But so we still got some time. We got a retirement tour.

02:40:12

Yeah, we do.

02:40:13

We get a chance to say thank you.

02:40:14

Have you guys wait all the way through 2026.

02:40:19

That's what I was reading.

02:40:20

Yes, sir.

02:40:20

That's so much time.

02:40:22

Yeah.

02:40:22

Calling Max. Sir. Have you guys consumed any of Rob Dyrdek's content recently, like on Instagram?

02:40:29

Nope.

02:40:29

And I love Rob Dyrdek. Part of like this Office is I used to be a fan of Robin Big and Fantasy Factory. Like, he's the man, but he's, he's kind of turned into one of those. He, like, put his whole life in an Excel spreadsheet to. To capture, like, how to best optimize his time and kind of one of those motivational guys. Gary Vee, but. But a lot richer.

02:40:58

To your way of being and quality of life is that is one of his captions.

02:41:02

That's Rob Dyrdek's caption.

02:41:04

In all areas of your life, you must continuously push forward and actively maintain park. I mean, it's true.

02:41:08

Yeah. But it was like he, he said that he.

02:41:11

If you master your thoughts and actions, emotions, you will gain control of your existence.

02:41:14

Yeah. He puts it in like an Excel sheet and like, this is my time to be happy. I'd like to have Rob Dyrdek on the show. I am a massive fan of him.

02:41:21

Seems like an interesting guy.

02:41:22

Yeah.

02:41:23

But I don't know how much like, of his current job is being optimized by doing a spreadsheet of his entire life.

02:41:29

He does. Yes. See? Wait, wait, what is this? Rob Dyrdek is the world's most underrated entrepreneur. He built a 550 million dollar empire, recorded 336 episodes. Ridiculous. And it still spent 30% of his time with family. So that right there, 30% means that he definitely had that. He had it. He had it like coded in an Excel. Yeah. Look at this. See his secret weapon? The Rhythm of Existence document. It's a personal operating system that tracks how he spends every hour, his family commitments, his health metrics and financial goals. He put his whole life in a spreadsheet. Obviously it worked. I'm not knocking it. I just didn't see Rob Dyrdek as like punk skateboarder.

02:42:15

Yeah.

02:42:15

Turning into. I put my entire life in an Excel spreadsheet. And here's how you can optimize your happiness.

02:42:21

I make sure to spend 30 of my time with family and 70 of my time with ridiculousness.

02:42:26

Right. It just was, it just was like, oh, that's interesting. Rob Judy. But if he, when he's filming, he's 100% present. When he's with family, phones or away. When he's working with business, everything else disappears. Rob automates everything that doesn't require his unique skills. All right, maybe I got to get it on the. Rob Dyrdek.

02:42:49

Yeah. Is this, is this like a piece of software that's available for us to purchase?

02:42:53

He's probably gonna sell it, Right?

02:42:54

If you're not overwhelmed, you're out of capacity.

02:42:57

That's what he said.

02:42:58

Just reading his captions.

02:43:00

If you're not overwhelmed, you're out of capacity.

02:43:04

Huh.

02:43:06

He's got a beautiful family.

02:43:07

Good for him.

02:43:08

Yeah, good for Rob Dyrdek. Let's get him on.

02:43:10

Stop trying to win the day, start winning the week.

02:43:13

Oh, oh, okay.

02:43:14

What about winning the year?

02:43:15

That's how you truly win in life.

02:43:19

We can't think that macro probably I can't. I'm.

02:43:21

I'm second to second right now. Everyone's just tweeting left hand up at me.

02:43:27

That's probably out of solidarity.

02:43:28

Solidarity. Thank you, guys. I appreciate. Appreciate that.

02:43:31

I'm sorry. Pft. That sucked. That really sucked. I like the game sucked. But then to add, Jaden getting hurt is just sucks.

02:43:41

Yeah. In. In the first half, I tweeted out, this game is going to get so much worse. I don't know how, but it's going to get worse. I know my team, they were like.

02:43:50

Making fun of you on the broadcast.

02:43:53

It felt. It felt pretty. Pretty personal when Chris Collinsworth gave me a rut row. Rut row after. After the fumbled kick return. I've never heard Collinsworth drop a rut row.

02:44:04

And. And the side. The sideline reporter was like, yeah. The Seahawks are barking at the fans. And the fans said, there's four quarters in. The Seahawks players are like, no, there isn't. Bye bye.

02:44:14

Yeah. How'd your night go? Well, I got rut road by Chris Collinsworth. The Seahawks players told our fans, bye, bye. You guys stink. And then Jaden's arm fell off.

02:44:23

Yeah. Not good.

02:44:26

The left. I. The left hand up is funny. I gotta admit. That's funny. Is funny.

02:44:31

Oh, that's why. Got it. Yeah, I just got it.

02:44:33

Yeah.

02:44:34

It's late.

02:44:35

Yeah.

02:44:35

Okay. Yeah. Yeah.

02:44:38

He can't put his left hand up. No.

02:44:40

Now.

02:44:40

Not for a few weeks.

02:44:41

What? Me?

02:44:42

I just got that.

02:44:43

Yeah, it took me a second. It's late, but that sucks. It's his left arm.

02:44:48

I refreshed Twitter and I saw like two people say, left hand up. And I. At first I was like, all right, that's cool. Yeah. Shout out you. And then I saw like five more left hand up. And I was like, wait, wait a second.

02:44:59

They're mocking you.

02:45:00

Yeah, that's fair. It's. Hey, it's a good mock.

02:45:03

Yeah. Okay. Good show, boys. Love doing the Monday shows. Another Sunday in the books. We're officially pass halfway of the regular season. Pretty crazy. Feels like we just started, but here we are. Numbers three. There you go, memes.

02:45:21

22.

02:45:22

What's Vladi's number? 27.

02:45:26

Maybe 22.

02:45:28

That was Vladi Senior's number.

02:45:31

I feel bad for Vladdy.

02:45:34

That's pretty sick when he bat flipped that walk, though.

02:45:36

Yeah, it was. He's such a. He's just the man. Oh, he is. 27. I'll go 27.

02:45:44

I'm going to go 68.

02:45:46

70.

02:45:47

The Jaguars also set the NFL record longest field goal in a game.

02:45:50

We should even say that little. But I also not impressed anymore.

02:45:55

Kickers.

02:45:56

The kickers and the K balls.

02:45:57

Yeah.

02:45:58

It's getting out of hand.

02:45:59

What's the elevation in Vegas is that it's elevated. Elevated.

02:46:02

It's elevated.

02:46:03

Okay.

02:46:03

It's for sure elevated. Not severely elevated, but it's elevated.

02:46:07

It's still very impressive. 68 would have been good for not very elevated. 2000.

02:46:12

Yeah. That's elevated a little bit.

02:46:14

That's a little. Almost a half mile.

02:46:16

The cables are insane, though. Yeah. Because I guess they can now work them all week.

02:46:21

Yep.

02:46:22

So they're ready for them.

02:46:23

I don't know.

02:46:26

Think people will be able to watch Monday Night Football?

02:46:29

Oh, shit. We got to talk about that real quick. Yes. Memes. I hope that people can watch Monday Night Football. ESPN is fucking everyone because ESPN's got a new app, and they're basically just going to hold their. And they also own Hulu and Fubo, Right? I mean, you got to turn your mind.

02:46:46

Disney owns Hulu. I don't know about Fubo.

02:46:48

I'm pretty sure they own 70% of Fubo, too.

02:46:50

So they're.

02:46:50

They're. They're screwing over everyone who has cut the cord and went to YouTube TV. And it's. It's just fucked up. It's fucked up. They're just screwing over the consumer. The people just want to watch sports. I just want to watch sports. That's all I want to watch. I can watch. The shows I watch are on Netflix or hbo. Let me just watch sports. I don't watch any other TV besides sports. Give me all the sports in one place and let me pay for that. And stop with this bullshit where everyone is trying to squeeze each other out for an extra dollar. Screwing over the people who just want to watch sports is.

02:47:29

Is crack streams back. Is meth streams back. What are the alternatives that people have?

02:47:35

I don't know. Also, guess what, espn, your app is garbage. It fucking kicks me out all the time.

02:47:41

That is true.

02:47:42

I still can't even. I have an iPad where I can't even log in because I changed my cable provider like a year ago, and it still has me as Verizon. I'm Xfinity now. I can't. I can't figure out how to get in. Just. I just don't get it. I don't get it. Just figure it. Like, it seems like the only one who gets screwed over in all this shit is the consumer. The. The guys who just want to watch.

02:48:04

Sports, they're like everybody from ESPN is tweeting out how it's YouTube TV's fault. I believe that this is ESPN's fault. I believe this is ESPN Disney being extra greedy.

02:48:15

Yeah. Also there was one guy who tried to shame me and was like, you got to call out Scott Van Pelt. It's like, dude, I'm not going to fucking call my friend because his boss told him to tweet something.

02:48:24

Yeah, you think.

02:48:25

Shut the.

02:48:25

You think Scott just sat down at his computer and was like, yeah, let me. You know what, Let me just go to bat here real quick against YouTube.

02:48:32

TV for big court. Scott wants the. He wants dudes to watch sports too.

02:48:37

That's his life.

02:48:37

Yeah. But. Yeah, it's crazy, man. It's, it's, it's crazy. What were you doing this weekend, memes? Were you just switching back? I was switching. I was switching back and forth the afternoon games. I was watching Breeders Cup. What was the, what was the other game? What was the game on Fox that. I was watching the afternoon games. It was like, yes, Breeders Cup, Texas Tech. And I was watching that. And then when, when. And then I'd be like, oh, George is driving the ball. Gotta log out. Go into the other one. Go into ESPN. It's just.

02:49:09

Yeah, they gotta figure it out.

02:49:10

YouTube TV has perfected the, the multi view and it. No one else has it, right?

02:49:14

Nope.

02:49:14

I actually tried to do four more TVs which. I tried to do a multi view on ESPN and it was like you can watch Brown lacrosse and, and, and like a softball game. That was. Happened six months ago. Yeah, mine were soccer games. Yeah. Put in the multi view. It's crazy, man.

02:49:30

It's bad and it always freezes and just. The video just stops entirely.

02:49:35

Just stop us over. So you think they're going to. They're going to make a deal before Monday football that does Florida.

02:49:40

Florio said they're far away.

02:49:44

Can, can we just. Can we just pay. Can there just be like a select like people who really love sports? Just let us pay for one app that has everything. I don't care who gives it to you, but just give us everything, right? Why. Why doesn't that exist?

02:50:03

The sports channel?

02:50:04

I'll pay a premium just to be able to watch every game in multi view. Figure it out. I don't know what, I don't know what they can do.

02:50:14

Maybe Rob Dyrdek can figure this out.

02:50:16

It's bullshit though.

02:50:17

Hank.

02:50:17

Remember when you had to come watch Monday Night Football?

02:50:19

Yeah.

02:50:19

My house. I might come here tomorrow I mean, I have cable still because of this situation.

02:50:26

I got rid of cable.

02:50:27

So you can come over again.

02:50:28

Having cable. This is why we have backups and redundancy. But not everyone can have that.

02:50:33

No, A lot of people, like.

02:50:35

Like, yeah, you. You set aside as a select amount of money either for your cable package, or if you cut the cord, thinking you were sold a bill of goods, that you're able to get it, and now they're. You over.

02:50:47

Yeah, no, like, I'm still able to watch everything, but I know that most people don't have, like, money to just throw it. Like, seven different streaming apps for every game. It's.

02:50:58

We should get on the phone, Mr. Portnoy, and see if we can sue. ESPN class action lawsuit.

02:51:02

I. There's. It's. It's obviously not a coincidence. They just came out with their app that they're trying to get everyone to pay $30 a month for, and this is now happening. It's.

02:51:12

I will be boycotting Monday night Football tomorrow.

02:51:14

There we go.

02:51:16

College basketball.

02:51:16

I will.

02:51:17

Oh, I'm so excited for college basketball. I'm gonna bet. I'm gonna bet every game. I'm gonna bet every single game. It's gonna be awesome. So excited for college basketball. Okay.

02:51:28

Is Kyler getting soft bench?

02:51:31

He might be.

02:51:31

I think this might be.

02:51:32

I think.

02:51:33

Which might be good for him, though.

02:51:34

I think you're right. Yeah. Okay, numbers. You already said three. 27, 68, 77, 39, 86, 55, 99, 42. I would have 42, by the way. Shout out. Pardon my balls. Could we pull it up? We should do another number because they have tracked now attempts. Did you see this, Hank?

02:52:11

No.

02:52:12

So memes is getting pretty close to your attempts.

02:52:15

No.

02:52:16

Yeah, there's no way this is accurate. I mean, it's. You don't trust him. So memes has gone 741 days. 331 guesses. The longest streak that Hank had was 988 days. 404 guesses. So you are now.

02:52:34

There's no.

02:52:35

70 guests away. 70 guesses away. We're in. We're. We're on watch. Especially with our trend of doing two a day, so six. So that means Memes will have beaten Hank streak in roughly 12 to 13 weeks. Somewhere around January if we go to a day. Memes. This is bad. It's pretty crazy.

02:53:05

0.00.

02:53:08

Shut up, Abraham.

02:53:09

All right. Same. Same numbers. 22, 68, 27. Still got three.

02:53:18

What about this? What about this? What if Memes. If the jets beat the Patriots. Hank has to get a tattoo. If you beat Hank Streak, you have to get a tattoo.

02:53:29

Wait, yeah, If.

02:53:32

Oh, if I beat history? Well, no, like, if you. If you last longer.

02:53:39

71, anyone?

02:53:41

No, that. Now it's a double sided tattoo bet.

02:53:46

Let's do one more.

02:53:47

Oh, yeah. Let's do one more. So this would put memes at 334 guesses without getting it. Because you're not going to get it right now. You know, you're not going to get it right now. You're never going to get it. It's never going to happen. Oh, 34.

02:54:06

33. Oh, damn.

02:54:08

Memes.

02:54:09

Memes. Brutal.

02:54:13

Hank has no upper lip.

02:54:28

Sam Sa.

02:56:17
