I'm sorry to be so negative. I just need to tell everyone I'm having a fucking terrible morning. I just feel like shit. I'm so annoyed because yesterday was probably the best I felt in months. I was ready to come on this show and be like, I'm out of it, you guys. I cracked the code. I actually did a workout yesterday. I stayed up late till 10:00. Oh, my God. I feel like I'm been hit by a bus. I am not okay, and I'm in a fucking bad mood about it. I'm just letting everyone know that if you're like, Claudia's being so negative today. Well, I'm dealing with a lot. Eat my fucking ass, bitch.

I'm sleeping without a bra. I'm just so sick of the bras touching my skin. But my boobs are so big and so heavy, and let Let me tell you, mistake of the century. If you're thinking about sleeping without a bra, don't fucking do it. I actually think my body is aching from the weight of my breasts being carried all night. Jackie, I was up all night, and God forbid, I just got up. I I couldn't get up. It felt like bricks on my chest. It was such a bad idea, and I feel like my entire disposition is due to the fact that I slept without a bra.

Interesting. I feel like you need a looser bra for sleeping.

Okay, everyone is allowed to share one screenshot from their Spotify wrap, whether you want to share what song you listen to the most, who your favorite artist was. I don't care which fucking one you choose. You get one. People doing an analysis on their fucking Instagram story. Okay, yours was funny because Billy Eichner being in your top five.

Jackie, nobody's is that interesting. Yours is probably the most interesting one could be, and it wasn't even that interesting. I'm sick of it. You Get one. I posted one flex yet. Not only is Taylor Swift my number one artist, she's four to five of my top songs. Some of you bitches, not to call out snitch, have Taylor Swift as your number one artist, and she's not even on your top five songs. Please, everybody gets one.

Oh, and by the way, explain how that makes sense. For the second year in a row, I just want to say, Spotify wrapped is no longer factual. I don't know what the angle is, but Claudia, how many times, even when you're here, how many times we listen to We know the Way from Moana?

Right. Not even on my 100 playlist. It's not on my playlist of my top songs of 2024. Lin Manwell should have been my number one artist. Meanwhile, my number two song, Hakuna Matata, which by four people, including Billy Eichner. And now Billy Eichner is my number four artist beating out Sabrina Carpenter, Shibuzi, Casey Musgraves. It's a lie. It's lies.

I'm feeling as though it's no longer data-driven.

It's not data-driven. This Bluey song is my number one song. We listened to that for three weeks. Now, I just want to say it's a 30-second song, so we played it on repeat so many times. So probably the length of... We played it six times for every one time we would listen to another song, but that was not the number one song. The number one song was We Know the Way, and the number two songs were Spidey and His Amazing Friends. And my number one artist should have been Fall Out Boy because we listen to that album on repeat. It's lies.

Yeah, I think when you have kids, mine felt data-driven. I'm going to say that. I felt completely represented in the data. But also, as a creator on Spotify, because we release our episodes, you also get your own Spotify wrap. Like, sharing stats about how many countries the podcast was listening to. I felt like this year, they really phoned in. They usually give really good tea about what other podcast you're beating, like good shit. This one was so boring. I didn't even screenshot anything to send to you. There was nothing of note.

Yeah. Spotify Wrapped is not what it used to be.

It's not. And I just, I seriously need everyone, not to be so mean, but we're in this group chat with a bunch of our friends, and everybody was sending screenshots this morning, and I literally wanted to be like, You guys, nobody fucking cares. It's so uninteresting to me. Even if you're my lover, the love of my life, Ben. I don't give a fuck. Seriously, people are so self-involved when it comes to Spotify rap, thinking that anybody gives a shit.

Okay, what about all the people who tag us that The Toast was their number one listen to podcast?

That was the next point I wanted to make because I've made the decision this year. It's always a flex. So many people... I mean, this morning, I already have over 100 mentions. How many people tag us that we're their number one podcast of the year? It's so flattering. Every year, I'm always sharing them and flexing on the other podcasters, but it's annoying. I've decided I'm not going to partake this year, but I do want everyone to know my DMs are flooded, everyone's tagging me. My DMs are flotted. Everyone's talking.

Our first story, which is the top streamed artist of the year, which is incredibly telling. Then I think there are people who pretend to like certain things because it's cool and edgy. And meanwhile, your number one played artist is Taylor Swift. You're not listening to Martina's Brothers like you say you are.

No, not only that, especially with the Taylor stuff. It's really interesting to see people who made Taylor their personality, acted like they've Taylor fans their entire life. They go to Eras, mostly like content creators and influencers. And it's like she's not even on your wrap because you were never a fan. That is an interesting part of Spotify wrap. But do you find this? I find this, and it's so funny. And I get it, by the way. This is not shady. I get tagged in a lot of people sharing whatever, their podcast. And it's funny to see what the other podcast, where at least will repost. They'll only repost when they're number one, and it's making a point. So I'm like, Bitch, let me post something so everyone know I'm number one. And by the way, it's not shady at all. Tinks did this morning, and she actually put us as number one with her podcast below. But I found over the years, the Swirlies are only resharing when they're number one, showing everybody else is below me. Bitch, I do the same thing.

I mean, of course. I also ultimately share when number one, Toast, Two, Redheads, Three, Good Guys, Four, Shannon. It's just TNN mania.

Yeah, TNN mania. I saw a couple of those. Just know I'm watching every single one of your stories that you're tagging me in, but I'm not resharing it because I don't want to be annoying.

I haven't watched them yet. When I watch them, I'll see how they make me feel because also some people write nice I might do a little bit of resharing who knows what's in the cards. Then also another interesting thing about Spotify rap that I did find to be factual. Taylor Swift was my number one artist. I know everyone thinks I hate Taylor Swift, so I just need to say that.

And they told me- Everybody does think you hate Taylor Swift.

I literally have been a fan of her since day two. You bitches could never. You weren't even born.

Spotify said, I'm in the top 4% of Taylor Swift listeners, and that feels right. I know I'm not the one... I'm not a crazy Swift who leaves her album on repeat while I'm sleeping so she could get streams. But I'm not 50%, I'm not 75. I'm 4%, I'm a big fucking fan, but I'm not the 1%, 2% stream.

I was 0.05% top Taylor listeners. If anybody's interested, I did stream, I think it was 25,000 minutes of Taylor.

I feel like you need to share that stat so the other bitches know how real you are. Because maybe you don't even listen to Spotify so much and you just listen to Taylor's album to hear it. And so for her to be your number on an artist isn't that big of a deal. But to be compared to the other Swifties and to emerge is 0.5%..

I don't know. I keep looking to see if anyone is bigger than me. I don't know if they go lower than 0.05% because it's literally less than 1%. I don't know. But yeah, it does feel good. And I think that Especially in recent years, it's become a form of social currency to be a Taylor Swift fan. You go to the Aries tour, you travel, you wear cute outfits. Some people, I feel, are definitely phoning it in. Me and Margot have this one influencer who we literally send back their content.

So it's not without its merit, but it's not what it used to be. I'm finding serious flaws. There is something like, even last year, Hot Dog by Mickey Mouse didn't crack Top 100, and that was our song of the Year in the Kids realm. So it's not like they're keeping off kids songs because my one, two, three, four.

Do you think that maybe there are certain kids songs like Mickey Mouse, like Moana, that they exclude from the algorithm because they're so popular?

You would think so. They're like, Okay, we're trying not to give you a kids Spotify-wrapped. However, Bluey as my number one. Then also last year, Hot Dog was the song we played most for Mickey Mouse.

I'm so glad that year is behind us, honestly.

Donald went to Courtney from the same album was on my top 100, but Hot Dog wasn't. Make it make sense.

I do feel that my running of a 5K really influenced my Spotify because that was really probably the time of year where I listened to the most music and focused so much on exactly what I was listening to. And that's why the songs from TTPD that were in my top, they are my favorites, but they're also the ones that I ran to. So Who's Afraid of Little Old Me is such a good running song. Same with I Can Do It with a Broken Heart. Spotify Unwrapped. Unwrapped? Wrapped. Unwrapped is that show from Food Network. Spotify Unwrapped is actually nice because it reminds you of things you did this year. When I was going through, they're like, In August, you listened to a lot of old hits, and that was because we were all in the Hamptons with the family, and I was trying to find music that everybody would appreciate. I appreciate. So it's nice in that sense. It's a trip down memory lane.

What was your number one song of the year?

Who's afraid of little old me. And that I am proud of.

Also, at this point, whenever I like a song, I like it. I add it to my like songs, and I only listen to my like songs. So my top 100 Spotify playlist is just my like songs playlist, and I'm not having fun anymore. And literally in the same order. I'm bored.

Can I tell you something? When they were like, your number one song of the year is, I 100% thought it was going to be, I love you for, I love you for life. I do think it's obviously less competitive. I definitely am in the 1% of top listeners of Katie Perry's new album. I'm surprised she wasn't in my wrap at all. I listened to those four songs, Wonder, Lifetime, Woman's World, 7,000 times.

What can I say?

What can I say? Except you're welcome. Also not on my top 100 when real ones know... Real ones know. That it's there. Our first story, Taylor Swift has been named Spotify's Most Streamed Artist for 2024 with over 26 billion streams. So As we shared, Spotify wrapped us here on an individual level, but a collective level as well.

Right. I forget that there's general stats that get released as well.

Right. So Spotify's global head of editorial announced the top streamed artist globally of the year for the second year in row is mistailored with more than 26.6 billion streams globally this year. If only I knew really what a stream meant. I know. It's just a lot.

Ttpd came out this year, right? Of course. Then Midnight's came out. For her, I guess last year have not released an album and still been the number one streaming artist because Midnight's came out in 2022. That's really impressive. I think this bodes well for Taylor's business and things. The reason why I brought up The Beyoncé thing is because we've been talking. I feel like everybody's been talking about Billboard announcing their big list of the world's greatest pop stars and who's number one, who's number one. They announced yesterday that number one was Beyoncé. It accompanied this big long article with all of her cultural impact and statements on her 25-year-long history. The article actually opened up. There were, I think, 14 or 15 mentions of Taylor Swift in Beyoncé's billboard article, which, seriously, if I'm Beyoncé, I'm mad. I I'd rather, seriously, I'd rather have second place than first, where every caveat is about Taylor. The first paragraph of the whole fucking article ends with literally a statement that says, Well, yes, if you're going to go by the numbers, streams and radio and airplay, if you want to get technical, Taylor Swift is the biggest.

But we think Beyoncé is because of her impact on culture. I would be mad.

Yeah, actually, in their opening argument for explaining why they chose Beyoncé, they actually made a really great case for Taylor. I didn't even realize Taylor had all these accolades. And what it really came down to, they said cultural impact, but also Beyoncé has taken up more of the quarter century because literally she's older, and Taylor didn't come into the game till 8-10 years later.

Beyoncé's amazing music for 25 years. Taylor's been making music for 17 They got her on a technicality.

Just because she's older? Okay, I'm older. I'm older. She has great music videos and photosheets. I'm like, Photo shoots?

Yeah. There's definitely a case for Beyoncé to have been number one. It's such a subjective thing. But the article was literally written by... It was written by somebody who wanted to cast doubt on Beyoncé. It was such a negative article.

No, they wanted to address everything that everyone was going to say in response to this. And in doing that, they made the case.

They invalidated their argument.

Right. And then this is also really interesting. So Spotify's most streamed artist of 2024 globally were announced. Taylor's number one, obviously. And now it's just like, I hate to compare, but like, billboard fucking did this to us. Everyone's always like, Don't compare the Two Greatest Women. Why did we... I wasn't going to. It was billboard who did this because now I'm like, Oh, Taylor was number one, but she's number two.

So where's Beyoncé?

Beyoncé was the number 41 most artist streamed the year globally, and she had an album come out this year, a big album.

Okay, so That's what's so crazy about it, because not every year is going to be number one. That's totally fine. But if it's a year that you released an album and your cultural impact is what Billboard says it is, okay, maybe you're not going to be number one. You'll be in top five, certainly top 10. To be number 41 is actually really crazy. Now I'm looking at Beyoncé critically.

No, now I'm really- I never was. I'm really suss now. I would have never thought much about this. If we weren't having this Beyoncé Taylor conversation, I might not even noticed or made note that she was 41 on the list. But That's really crazy. I thought people listened to Cowboy Carter.

Was it in your top?

She wasn't your top artist? No, it wasn't. Because I listened to it on release week, and that's how I think how you know the real difference between an album and an album that feels like a real album.

Do you listen to it when it's released? We all listened to hear it, but were people listening to it on repeat?

No, I listened to it to hear it, but then I listened to it for a week or two after, too. I digested it. There are albums from this year, Sabrina Taylor, that I I'm still actively listening to that came out months and months and months ago. I haven't really picked up Cowboy Carter since two weeks past its release.

Right. It sounds like some other people didn't either.

Now, the party line on social media from Swifties, mostly, and people who just don't agree that Beyoncé should be number one, is that Jay-Z cut a check to Billboard to make Beyoncé number one.

I don't think that's true.

Me neither. One, I don't think it's feasible. That's not how these things work. But also, even if he could, do I think Beyoncé and Jay-Z give a flying fuck what Billboard magazine said in some random article? No.

Why does this list- I doubt they know that this list- Why does this Billboard list have everyone in a tizy? On the one hand, I feel like they really stepped in it and regret ever doing it because everybody hates them. But on the other hand, we've never been talking about Billboard more in their editorial department. I can't tell if this is a win. It's a win. It's a win. It's a win. All press is good press, but we're not talking about them favorably. But seriously, this list that's never come out before has everyone in a chokehold about its fairness.

People are also pointing out, it feels like so many people were left off the list. I didn't even realize until I saw it on Liz Wood's story. Pink? Where's pink on this list? Now, we know Kelly Clarkson was left off the list, but we're used to people taking advantage of our girl and sleeping on her.

Pink? Yeah. A pop star, but you put on a bunch of people who are not pop stars.

Yes. Our next story is not funny and fun all around because Chloe Kardashian claims that an old therapist leaked private information from her session to a tabloid. And that's why she did not go to therapy for years and instead sought therapy in the gym.

Oh my God.

She sat down with bustle for an interview published on Tuesday, and she talks about how she turned the gym as a form of therapy after being betrayed by her therapist. She revealed she started working through her mental health struggles with exercise after her former counselor allegedly breached doctor-patient privilege amid her divorce from Lamar. She said, I remember I was going to therapy, and the next thing I knew, something private I told my therapist was on a tabloid. I knew that my therapist disclosed this information to a tabloid because there's no way this could have gotten out there. She did not disclose exactly what her therapist leaked about the marriage. She said the traumatic experience kickstarted her love for fitness. It ruined her relationship with therapy for nearly a decade. She said, I stopped going to therapy and started going in the gym. I needed a release, but I did not trust anyone else anymore. The place that I felt the safest was the gym. She called the experience very jarring and unbelievable and insisted there's not a chance in the world that it came from anyone else. She refused to seek help for years as a result of the betrayal until her older sister, Kim, finally convinced her to give it another shot.

She said, I started when I was 39, noting that her new doctor is really lovely. She said, I really like her. It's actually Kim's therapist. Kim was really adamant. I was like, I'll I'll do this for you. I dragged my feet, and then I was like, Wow, okay, this is good. I needed this. Turns out she had a lot to unpack from the years. Her therapist was like, I think you should come three days a week. She was like, You really need to be here. And it all worked out.

I feel like this is regular people's worst nightmare. I think a lot of people don't go to therapy because the concept of bearing the worst parts of yourself to a human being who technically could run and tell someone is a real fear. Although you're irrelevant. No one cares what's going on in your brain.

I wouldn't even expect that that's a fear of a top-tier fear.

I think it is. I think it keeps people from doing therapy, just saying the quiet part out loud, things you've never said.

Yeah. Well, that's just hard, period, let alone then having to be concerned about a breach of trust. But I wonder if this keeps celebrities out of therapy.

Definitely, because I think it crosses people's mind who aren't celebrities. That fear is probably tenfold when you actually... Your thoughts would be interesting to other people, lots of other people. That HIPAA and that confidentiality, it's like, yeah, it's the law, right? But there's something... You're not handcuffed. This person has free will. They could abide by the HIPAA or not. It's a lot of trust.

They could lose their license.

Yeah, of course. No, there are consequences. She shows soon. But it's not like... I am sure I am 100% sure that woman is no longer a practicing therapist.

You can't just talk about the other person, and they just think that other person is the devil and never meet them. Not that she's going to therapy because of Kim, but I actually think it's like, if she's really in your world, it sounds like a good idea.

Do you remember that episode of Kardashian's Keeping Up with the Kardashian's on E, where they had a family therapist come in all Rob, everyone, Caitlin, they had everyone come sit down. I think it turned into a referendum on Rob.

And seriously, two moments they've been teasing. This season thus far, we're both in the episode, and they were both so anticlimactic. One, Dorit falling. How many times we have to watch it? It was actually embarrassing for her. And two, God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen.

Yeah. No, the fact that they hit us with a to be continued over that dinner spat, it's really not voting well for the season.

I understand you want to drag the rest of the fight till the next episode, but don't give us to be continued. I'm not on the edge of my seat, and I did want to see pre. It's not worthy. I wanted to see previews for next week. That's the thing that's annoying about TBC. We don't get previews for next week. I need to be a little titulated because I like the women of Beverly Hills. Even when they're just sitting around the table, they're fun to watch. But this season isn't great. I don't really know how much better it's going to get, especially because the cornerstone of the season is the fight between Kyle and Doreet, which should be meaty because they were really close. They've been on forever. The issue, though, is that the reason why they're feuting is very confusing. So it's hard for us to g galvanize and get on someone's side because I don't know what the fuck is going on.

Same, except that I felt last night at that dinner was the most clarity we've gotten up until this point where they were pulling out examples because we knew the Bravo Con thing, which was so nothing. I'm glad they showed that clip of Erica. I'm glad Erica is taking a little bit of a stand while also staying in the middle. I'm glad they showed her reaction because it's such a nothing burger. I felt like that conversation, and I'm sure we'll see the other half of it, was such a bad look for Kyle because she looked so small and so stupid. Every example. Then they're cutting to the clip, what was the second one? Teddy. Oh, you didn't speak up for Teddy. Are you fucking okay? Clearly, Kyle had a horrible time at BravoCon and decided to take it all out. It was Dorit's fault, and she's not letting it go. It was such a bad episode for Kyle because I also think the sit down with Mauricio was so awkward. I think we got a little bit more clarity into the current status of their relationship, which is that Mauricio's out and Kyle would be in if he would be in.

It's not even clear if Kyle would be in. But then it makes it so confusing with Morgan Wade.

They split What up? Mauricio, I think, had a foot out the door, but Kyle was also pushing him out the door. Now, she couldn't even answer the question, Do you want to get back together with Mauricio? Because she doesn't know. They're saying he's going to Greece, which we know there's a picture of him with the girl. I think that probably comes out next week, and that's going to be Earth-shattering for Kyle because she just thinks he's living in his apartment. It's a weird spot that they're in.

Yeah. I felt like the whole episode was just like, Kyle's so hard to root for. You have sympathy that she's going through this thing, but so is Dorit. Dorit, her situation seems toxic now. Her and PK aren't getting along. He has this alcohol problem. The kids are losing their mind. Her kids are younger. Her situation, not that I would ever want to be in either of them, but I'd rather be in Kyle's. You know Doreet and PK definitely have some fucking money issues that they've never really fully dived into, and a divorce will exasperate that. There's a lot going on in Dorit. I feel like she's keeping it together for the most part. I do feel in the argument, she is right. I think she has a lot to be mad at Kyle about. I think behind the scenes, the way she explains it, I could actually see their friendship being unbalanced and Kyle's in charge, and she's just tired of being a dormat.

It's like, Dorit could make an infraction, and Kyle would punish her differently than she would punish anyone else in the group.

When Kyle's like, You're acting so different, Doreet's like, Yeah, I'm not letting you push me around anymore. I'm like, That's clearly an issue for you, so let's get into it. What the hell was... It was brought up twice by Sutton and García. You know I love García. Sometimes she's like a dog with a bone with the wrong things. Her and Sutton being so offended that Boze and Doreet were having a conversation at the end of the table. Then García was like, I mean, give us a chance to get to know Boes. Fucking try. Doreet went to her house.

Make an effort. No, Doreet is talking at the end of the table to Boes about her personal life. Meanwhile, every time Doreet speaks, you say she talks too much, but she should share these personal details with you, even though you don't like listening to her speak. That was so transparent to me. It's like, you either just want to hear about Doreet's pain, or you just want to find It's not my fault with Doreet. But it's a long table. It's not even a circular table. There's going to be conversations at one end and conversations at the other, and like, sorry that you're at this end. And then they brought it up again. It's not a big deal. Trying to make it seem like Doreet was doing something wrong. Doreet's obviously going through something. She's talking to a person across the table for her, why she's in a bad stressful mood.

I actually don't think it's weird that Doreet met this person for the first time and unloaded on her. I think that that's oddly very common. Everyone in the group has... They know PK. Everyone has their preconceived notions. This is just a fresh person who seems really sound of mind and seems smart, and maybe she would give good advice. I could see you just being drawn to her energy.

It's literally not weird. When Garcelle's saying she's getting close to Boze because Boze doesn't know, like to read or have history with her, that's what someone who's so on the It's like Danielle Stab would do, who it's like, I literally have no other friends in this group, so I'm going to be friend a new person. That's literally not what's going on here. They obviously just have things in common, a connection. That's literally what happens when you meet people. You either have connection with them or you don't.

Let me tell you something else García was doing that was bothering me. You know I ride for her, but sometimes she's really hard to defend. A lot of the women were doing this in their confessionals, making fun of Cathy's afternoon of relay races. Meanwhile, they cut to them on the beach. The women are laughing. I've never seen them have so much fun. First of all, you know that's my dream afternoon, playing DuckDuck Goose. I love games like that. I actually, inspo, I think Cathy is so funny. The whole point of the trip was like, Kyle's going through a lot. Dorit's going, just to get everyone to laugh and relax. It's not supposed to be so serious. Mission accomplished. Everybody in their confessionals being What are we, 11? It's funny. Stop.

Everybody was having a good time. They were. It was really funny. The trip looked amazing. I'm glad that Cathy planned the trip. I like seeing Cathy doing Cathy things, and I loved those hats. I thought everybody who put the hat on looked amazing in the hat.

Even Erica said it was small on her head. She looked so... The minute the lamb shade came down, everyone looked fantastic. I want one.

There was a sad moment in the episode when they were at Cathy's Kitchen, getting ready to get on the sprinter, and Jennifer Tilly comes in with her sick Louis Vuitton travel cases. And Erica's looking... It wasn't even so much envy. It was like a longing. There was a time where she had a relationship with Louis Vuitton. If she wanted a custom Hollywood Walk of Fame hat box, it was like a glimpse into a former life. And she lives well, and she could buy herself nice things, but that's another level. And it made me sad for her.

Yeah, I love her so much.

She's having an amazing season.

I want just the best for her. She's worked so hard to sustain a lifestyle, to live the way that she used to live on a single income, not stealing from victims' lifestyle. From orphans and widows. She's just so great. She's a really great friend. She's really a voice of reason. I wish she would get involved a little bit more, but I understand. She had a couple of really hard seasons where she was the center We have a conversation all the time, and I think right now she's just like, Okay, you guys take the heat for a second.

No. When they were getting divorced, it was just a popular show. They had no idea it was going to go on for, what is it, their 45th season. The only thing that confuses me is her house being so small. I guess she's just one person. How big of a house do you need? But if I owned a chunk of the Simpson, I would have a bigger house. I think her ex-husband, by the way, and they didn't mention this, but I saw it on Twitter, he has passed away. Oh, sad. I think he passed away in 2015 from cancer, which I thought was odd that they didn't show that. Yeah. Maybe her and Boze will connect.
