We have major developments this morning and really across America, as the President of the United States is becoming increasingly frustrated, if not furious, with the way the Department of Homeland Security has been handling operations inside Minneapolis, Minnesota. And it's getting very, very tense within the White House right now, so much so that Donald Trump has announced he will be sending Tom Homan, his border Tsar, into Minneapolis, into Minnesota to oversee operations as trust and Department of Homeland Security officials has faltered. At the same time, the White House narrative on television from Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch and others is changing. No longer are they calling Alex Peretti a domestic terrorist. Now they're saying, wait for the investigation to conclude. All while a groundswell of celebrities, athletes, and more people with large and influential platforms have started to speak out in what seems to be really a watershed moment. I'm doubling down on my investment here. So please subscribe to support this work and to spread the word. This morning, Donald Trump announced, I am sending Tom Homan to Minnesota tonight. He has not been involved in that area, but knows and likes many of the people there. Tom is tough but fair and will report directly to me. Separately, a major investigation is going on with respect to a massive $20 billion plus welfare fraud that has taken place in Minnesota and is at least partially responsible for the violent organized protests going on in the streets. Additionally, the DOJ and Congress are looking at Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who left Somalia with nothing and is now reportedly worth more than $44 million. Time will tell all. Thank you for your attention to this matter. What is significant here is two things. Number one, you have the Congressional and DOJ investigation into Ilhan Omar. There's nothing that's going to come out of that. She's not going to be detained. This is not... This is just him talking to his base on truth social. But the one that really is important is the fact that he's sending Tom home into Minnesota tonight.

00:02:11

Why? Because... And the fact that he's reporting directly to Trump. Homan's not reporting to Christie Noem, not reporting to the Department of Homeland Security, because there have been substantial reports that Trump is not happy. He is not happy. He's arguably furious with the way DHS has been handling operations in Minnesota. Now, there's an important I've yet here. He's not unhappy because of the Department of Homeland Security conducting immigration enforcement. That's not it. He's unhappy because the American people are seeing it, because we've done a good enough job to show the public what the hell is happening on the ground in Minnesota, to show you, to show the public how people are being treated, how Alex Peretti was murdered, how Renee Good was murdered. Without people spreading these videos, without people showing the truth about what's happening on the ground in Minnesota, we would never have come to this day. And it comes as a DOJ narrative is changing. At the beginning of this, when Alex Peretti was shot and killed, Christine Noem and Steven Miller labeled him a domestic terrorist and a want to be assassin. That's what they came out and said. Now, the narrative is very different.

00:03:20

Take a listen to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch this morning on Fox & Friends.

00:03:24

I want to dial into the frustrations at DHS. My colleague, Bill Malusian, reporting about that, about the DHS's rhetoric. Here's a quote from his reporting saying, There is extreme internal frustration with DHS officials going on television and putting out statements to describe Alex Freddie as a domestic terrorist who was there to inflict maximum damage on federal agents or conduct a massacre, even after multiple videos emerge to show that these claims appear to be inaccurate. Some of these sources have described DHS's response to the shooting as a case study on how not to do crisis PR. One said they're so They're fed up. They wish they could retire. Another says DHS is making the situation worse, and even another adding DHS is wrong, and we are losing this war. We are losing the base and the narrative. This is coming to a head, Todd. I ask you, based on the DOJ's purview, do the actions of Alex Freddie amount to domestic terrorism?

00:04:22

Look, it's an investigation, so I'm not going to prejudge what his actions were or were not. But there's two things that There have to be part of this narrative. There are two very important points that have to be part of the story that we're talking about. Number one is the reason why that happened on Saturday is because we get zero cooperation from police. Dhs, Border Patrol, operates in 50 states doing hundreds of isolated targeted arrests every day. There is one city where we see this outrage, one city, and that's Minneapolis.

00:04:54

With all due respect, sir, my question is more pointed, do you believe colleagues may have gone farther. You are an attorney, a DOJ, 18 US Code 2331. It has a legal definition of domestic terrorism, and it doesn't appear to most of the country that have watched the available video, and we'll see if there's body cam video, I'd love to know if that's going to come out, if there was such a thing, but it does not appear to have met that definition of domestic terrorism. I'm just wondering how you in the DOJ are viewing whether your colleagues may have gone too far.

00:05:29

Look, I I don't think anybody thinks that they were comparing what happened on Saturday to the legal definition of domestic terrorism. What we saw was a very violent altercation. I am not going to prejudge the fact. You're right, there's a bunch of video that's out there. There's a bunch of video that we haven't seen yet in the minutes leading up to what happened.

00:05:49

Now the narrative is I'm not going to prejudge the facts, but just minutes after Alex Peretti was murdered, Christie Noemen and Steven Miller said that he was a domestic terrorist. See how the narrative changing, and this is maybe why. Look at all of these celebrities that have came out with their large platforms and started to speak out. This is a non-exhaustive list. There may very well be more, and I'm working on compiling them for you. Olivia Rodrigo, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Ruffalo, Pedro Pascal, Jané Monet, Megan Stalter, Lynn Manuel Miranda, Olivia Wilde, Natalie Portman, Ariana Grande, Chrissy Tegan, Bussy Phillips, Chriselle Staus, Amelia gray Hamlin, Julianne Huff, Kaya Gerber, Maria Shriver was one as well, Halsey, Maren Morris, Christie Brinkley, Hilary Swink, Justin Thoreau. And it's not just celebrities, it's sports athletes as well. You have Thierry Halliburton, Brenna Stuart, Brenna Stuart, Ryan Clarke, Dwight McLaithran Jr. Alan Page, Steve Kerr. And take a listen to Steph Curry, the star from the Warriors.

00:06:54

All the way down, it was three straight hours. Negative 10 degree weather. It It was beautiful to see that turn out. That speaks to how important people felt to have their voice heard. And those elements and whatever streets right outside our hotel, they were out. It was amazing to watch. So your day yesterday, were you part of the conversation on the game?

00:07:19

Should it have gone on or not?

00:07:21

I talked to a coach who was talking to, obviously, the Wolfs organization, Tim Wolfs organization. It was very similar to... It's hard to catch up to everything that's going on here in the community when you just fly, you understand what's going on, but how it affects the players, the staff, players, the staff, the entire franchise, the families, and just supporting them in whatever decision makes sense, obviously talking to the lead. So that was pretty much it.
