Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your 6. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today we're talking about a mistake that can keep you busy and cost you money. You want more customers, so you immediately ask for more ads, more content, and more leads. But what's happening to the people who already showed interest? Before you spend more trying to get attention, let's look at what you're doing with it. At one of our team briefings, I told the team that our biggest problem was sales conversion, not marketing. In plain English, we needed to do a better job turning interested people into the right customers. The work was helping people understand the offer, getting them to show up for calls, following up, and closing deals that made sense. Just creating more content wouldn't address what we needed to work on.

So first, follow the path of a real prospect. Somebody asks about your service. What happens next? How long do they wait for an answer? Do they understand what they're booking? If they miss the appointment, does anybody reach out? Don't answer with what your team is supposed to do. Look at what actually happened. If you're working alone, check your own messages. You might find a conversation you forgot to finish. Second, find the point where people keep dropping off. If they book but don't show, work on that. If they attend but leave confused, work on how you explain the offer. If they ask a question and never hear back, fix the follow-up. Lastly, put someone in charge of the change and check whether it helps. A meeting where everybody agrees the sales process needs work isn't the same as doing the work. Decide who will do what and when you'll look at the results. If it's your business and you're the whole team, that person is you. Bottom line, more attention is useful when you know how to serve the people it brings you. Before you ask for another lead, review the last 10 inquiries you received.

Find the unfinished conversations and the repeated problem. Start improving the part of the business you can actually see. Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you that growth also comes from doing a better job with the opportunities already in front of you. Follow up, fix the gap, and as always, keep leveling up.
