Alright, we did it, everyone. We made it to Friday. How about that? How's everyone doing today? Give it up for Friday, everybody. Come on now.

Speaker 600:01:56

He says, "I've never worked with this guy." Yeah. Yeah. This is the first time working with him.

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:00

Oh, alright. So I don't know if this crew's ever worked together then. We got Roy here, and Tony, and Mike, and Chris, and you got like a spaceman in a football.

Speaker 700:02:11

Go Nuts, baby.

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:12

Uniform. Alright. Weird thing to say.

Speaker 700:02:14

Go Nuts. Go what?

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:15

Citronauts.

Speaker 700:02:15

Go what?

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:15

The Citronauts.

Speaker 700:02:16

Do what now?

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:16

The UCF Citronauts. It's space you day, baby.

Speaker 700:02:19

The Citronauts.

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:19

Yeah, the Citronauts. That's the original logo at UCF. Where does that come? Oh, okay. I see. Where does it come from? That was their original logo. Yes, a citrus astronaut before the sports program even existed.

Speaker 700:02:29

Oh, that doesn't make any sense.

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:29

Because it's space you.

Roy00:02:30

Vibes are high. Coming off an upset of the number 2 team in the nation.

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:34

That's right.

Roy00:02:35

We're looking at a pick-em game against DJ Lagway.

Jonathan Zaslow00:02:37

That's right.

Speaker 700:02:38

Dave Dammichek here with us as well. Hello, Dave Dammichek.

Dave Dammichek00:02:42

Oh, gang. I'm so excited. Another football weekend is upon us, and when we emerge into the next week, it is officially the holiday season. Halloween will come and go, and then it'll be November, and then the leaves will start falling, and then we're into we're getting very close to Shekker season, which is the Wednesday night before. It's Thanksgiving Eve, because that indicates for the next 6 weeks, a lot of boozing, a lot of taking work off early, maybe not showing up at all.

Same goes for school. A lot of gifts being given, a lot of booze being ingested, very little work being done, and lots and lots of football. Oh, Shekker season. I'm so excited for your arrival.

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:23

Not to be a scrooge on all Hallow's Eve, but is Halloween not the worst of the tier 1 holidays?

Speaker 700:03:30

Well, what are the tier 1 holidays?

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:31

Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, New Year's Eve, Halloween.

Speaker 700:03:34

4th of July is a tier 1 holiday.

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:36

Absolutely.

Roy00:03:36

For me, that's my favorite holiday.

Speaker 700:03:37

Are you an American or not?

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:39

I'm just asking.

Speaker 700:03:39

Are you an American or not?

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:40

Of the big 5.

Speaker 700:03:41

I didn't even give it a penny.

Roy00:03:42

I'm an Indian. Yeah. You hate us?

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:44

Of the big 5, it's the worst holiday of the big 5.

Speaker 700:03:46

200 years old.

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:47

I mean, it just feels like 4th of July is like, you know, if we're talking the big 4 WWF pay-per-views, it's kind of along the lines of Survivor Series. That's all I'm saying. You know, it's like, alright, fine. You're still.

Speaker 700:03:57

That's disrespectful.

Jonathan Zaslow00:03:58

You're still one of the big ones.

Speaker 700:03:59

I love 4th of July.

Roy00:04:00

Yeah. Do you like the Great American Bash?

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:02

I do.

Roy00:04:03

You know about Sting beating Ric Flair for the NWA World Cup?

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:06

I do. I do. Alright. So.

Dave Dammichek00:04:10

I think that's performative crap from Mike Ryan. I know that that's what his political party is into, is performative patriotism.

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:21

I like this guy, dude.

Speaker 700:04:23

That's what he's doing.

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:24

I love the 4th of July. You don't know me, Dave.

Dave Dammichek00:04:27

Why?

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:27

Because it's summer, and you go out on the boat, and you're drinking Miller Lite, and you're slamming dogs.

Speaker 700:04:34

Playlist.

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:35

And you're wearing Pat McAfee formal wear, which is just a tank top. Or no shirt at all. Who pushes back on what I say, though? I mean, Zaz is on 4th of July, but.

Speaker 700:04:44

Oh, I guess you're saying that Halloween you think is the weakest of the.

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:47

Of the big dogs.

Dave Dammichek00:04:48

Are you drinking Miller Lite?

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:49

I got into this argument the other day, and someone's like, "Columbus." I'm like, dude, I'm talking about the big dogs.

Speaker 700:04:54

I don't know.

Jonathan Zaslow00:04:56

Thinks Columbus. No, they were saying that that's worse, and I'm saying, but that's not in this conversation.

Speaker 700:05:00

That's what I'm saying. Who thinks Columbus Day is a top tier holiday?

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:04

They got lost.

Roy00:05:05

In this house, Christopher Columbus is a hero.

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:07

Yes.

Speaker 700:05:08

Now we're doing Indigenous Peoples Day. Alright, different story.

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:10

Here we go.

Speaker 700:05:11

Maybe not today.

Dave Dammichek00:05:12

We're going to bring on the chat Hoochie. It gets hotter than Hoochie Coochie.

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:15

We got a lot of football to talk about, but I'm down for tiering holidays at some point.

Dave Dammichek00:05:21

Valentine's Day is clearly I don't know if it counts as a major. Maybe it's sort of like the Gator Bowl if we were to compare it to Bowl season.

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:30

It's a tax layer.

Dave Dammichek00:05:31

I don't think it's properly a sugar. But right, but either way, it's not the Rose Bowl. It's not in that level of.

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:37

Second tier.

Dave Dammichek00:05:38

Orange Bowl. But Valentine's Day is definitely a prominent bowl game slash holiday, and it's the worst.

Jonathan Zaslow00:05:44

That's the worst of the second tier, Dave.

Roy00:05:45

Well, isn't Valentine's Day symbol something?

Dave Dammichek00:05:47

Well, I mean, it's the man decide. Yeah, we need to do that. You're right, Mike Ryan.

Roy00:05:51

There's two things that we need to do. We need to acknowledge that we need to merge Valentine's Day and the Super Bowl, and it'll be very romantic for many. And Troy Aikman and Jay-Z need to take a picture together.

Jonathan Zaslow00:06:03

Super Bowl Sunday actually could make an argument for a tier 1 holiday.

Roy00:06:08

Troy Aikman's final act is going to be calling a Super Bowl that Jay-Z is doing the halftime show at.

Jonathan Zaslow00:06:13

Do you think that's why Jay-Z chose himself?

Roy00:06:15

They need to go face to face.

Jonathan Zaslow00:06:16

Alright, so let's start this here. It feels like we have the first tier. The first tier. Go ahead, Chris. Give me them. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, New Year's Eve, 4th of July.

Speaker 700:06:29

I notice he didn't mention Hanukkah. It's okay. We'll let it slide.

Jonathan Zaslow00:06:31

And Hanukkah.

Speaker 700:06:32

So those are the tier.

Dave Dammichek00:06:34

No, no, no, no, no, no. Hold on. No, no, no. Those are not the yes. You can't leave it at that. I know New Year's Day, coincidentally, used to have the five major bowl games all at once, but you also have to do because that's weighted all to the end of the calendar year outside of July 4th. Those aren't all the majors. You got to mention Memorial Day, right? And Labor Day.

Roy00:06:59

What about the Friday, the first Friday of March Madness?

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:02

Oof. I mean, what about that Thursday, though?

Speaker 700:07:04

Okay, well, that alright, so hold on. So that's.

Roy00:07:06

Let's just merge them.

Speaker 700:07:07

Alright, that's what we're doing here. So Chris named the top tier. Are we willing to add any other days to the top tier?

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:15

No. Chris has the top tier locked in. All of those other ones are fighting in second tier.

Speaker 700:07:19

Okay, so now we're on the second tier then. What is on the second tier of holidays? We could start there. Super Bowl Sunday, right? Does that make the second tier of holidays?

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:30

I'd say Valentine's Day.

Speaker 700:07:34

Jeremy, you did your job?

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:35

St. Paddy's.

Speaker 700:07:36

Are we making the list?

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:37

Sure. I'll make the list.

Speaker 700:07:39

So, alright, second tier. Valentine's Day makes second tier?

Roy00:07:44

Memorial Day.

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:44

Oh, yes.

Dave Dammichek00:07:46

You're just skipping right over President's Day.

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:48

Not skipping anything.

Roy00:07:50

Every day is President's Day.

Jonathan Zaslow00:07:51

Alright. I didn't hear it shouted out. Now, Valentine's Day stinks. It's the man prescribing romance and for just one of the two genders. And it also says, "Hey, go buy these cards." That's where it starts, you understand? It's like Hallmark comes up with this, and now you have to go and buy a card because the man tells you to, and some chocolates. But where's my chocolates? I have to give her chocolates and give her flowers. Where are my flowers? It's a terrible holiday. But anyway, yes, then comes St. Patrick's Day and proceed.

Roy00:08:21

Thought the king's birthday and Juneteenth.

Jonathan Zaslow00:08:23

You know what I've noticed? People that love.

Roy00:08:25

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Lay out. And you also forgot Tight Ends Day. We just celebrated that this past Sunday, by the way.

Speaker 700:08:32

I know.

Jonathan Zaslow00:08:32

Lowellie Cox. People who like Halloween are super sensitive about people that don't like. Like, I just got a look from someone out there that just because I brought up the idea of Halloween not being the best day of the year. The best thing about Halloween is what Dave said to start the show. It means the holidays are here. We've reached the best time of year. It's really the only good part of Halloween that just we're at this part of the year.

Roy00:08:52

It means the games are important.

Dave Dammichek00:08:53

Yes.

Roy00:08:54

That's what that means. And we got a big one in Chapel Hill tomorrow night.

Jonathan Zaslow00:08:59

International Women's Day?

Speaker 700:09:00

What about 4/20 Day?

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:02

Whoa.

Roy00:09:03

Now you're talking.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:04

International Women's Day only exists for me to see the LeBron James video.

Dave Dammichek00:09:09

So, April Fools.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:11

April Fools.

Roy00:09:12

Made a fourth tier.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:13

Oh, April Fools bottom tier. Bottom tier holiday.

Speaker 700:09:16

Cinco de Mayo?

Roy00:09:16

Every day is April Fools on social media.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:18

Okay, now you're talking.

Roy00:09:19

Cinco de Mayo, three tier, I think.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:20

Third or second. Yeah, probably second. Probably upper third, I'd say, actually.

Dave Dammichek00:09:24

The worst flag day.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:26

That's lower fourth.

Roy00:09:27

Yep. Yep. You're like walking right up against that line, Dave Dammichek. I don't like it one bit.

Dave Dammichek00:09:33

Arbor Day. I'm finding it very difficult to categorize all of these holidays.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:37

I've got nothing.

Dave Dammichek00:09:38

Yeah, we may have to table this. So there's a lot happening here. You got Miami UNC. Dolphins. I mean, can they win back-to-back games?

Roy00:09:47

No.

Dave Dammichek00:09:48

You got the Heat tonight. You got the Panthers tonight. It's a very big, very big sports weekend.

Roy00:09:53

Citronauts.

Dave Dammichek00:09:54

You got the Astro Citronauts.

Jonathan Zaslow00:09:56

Big, big, big, big day.

Dave Dammichek00:09:58

Florida, Georgia, world's largest outdoor cocktail party. Oh no, I said it. Oh no, and I love to say it.

Roy00:10:04

Well, it's indoor, and I believe it's the Invesco QQQQ kickoff classic or something.

When you serve a boar's head sweet-sliced ham, something magical happens. Born from a family recipe, it's expertly smoked and crafted for carving. This is the ham that will bring everyone and everything together. Boar's head sweet-sliced ham. Compromise elsewhere.

There's always one game on the schedule that makes you start doing dangerous math. How long is a flight? Can I get back before work? Is this a terrible financial decision or a memory I'll have forever? Week 9 gives us plenty of temptation. Bengals Falcons from Madrid, Giants Eagles, Raiders 49ers, Packers Patriots, Buccaneers, Bears on Sunday night, and Bills Vikings on Monday night. That's a good one. When I start talking myself into a trip, I check game time. It's easy to find tickets, and the panoramic sea views let me see exactly what I'm buying.

Plus, fees are included in the price shown. What you see is what you pay, period. Game time also has zone deals. I choose a section, game time selects the seats, I can save money, which makes that completely reasonable for a last-minute trip and makes it super easy to justify. Get your friends together, get your tickets, and tell them it's game time. Download the Game Time app, create an account, and use code DAN for $20 off your first purchase. Terms apply. Speaker 1100:12:33

Dan Le Batard.

Speaker 1200:12:34

Analytics have slash are ruining the game. We're playing AI hoops.

Speaker 1300:12:38

That's his team. His team's in the forefront of all that.

Speaker 1200:12:40

Man, Zaz, don't steal my time.

Speaker 1300:12:42

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Sorry.

Speaker 1100:12:44

Jonathan Zaslow.

Speaker 1300:12:46

I get carried away.

Speaker 1100:12:47

This is the Dan Le Batard Show.

Jonathan Zaslow00:12:52

So we are going to start, though, with just shocking news locally, which I mean, literally broke, or at least I saw it break right before the show started. Just shocking news. So Dave Dammichek, if you were to ask me, what is my favorite Miami restaurant? Go, ask me.

Dave Dammichek00:13:13

What is your favorite Miami restaurant, Zaz?

Jonathan Zaslow00:13:15

Without question, Joe's Stone Crab. Alright, that is my favorite. I was there recently, like a month ago. Joe's Stone Crab, that is my favorite restaurant. It's been my favorite for a while. I feel like a big moher every time I go there. I grease up the Maitre d'. They sit me immediately. Hello, Mr. Zaslow. Good to see you again. I skip past everybody in line. They got the best food there. I love Stone Crabs. And Stone Crabs are very expensive, alright, but it's worth it, especially because now it's Stone Crab season.

I think opening night was last week, actually, at Joe's Stone Crab. So it is my favorite. And Joe's Stone Crab, though, some people may think, "Whoa, you know, that's too expensive for me. I can't afford Joe's Stone Crab." Well, one of the beauties of Joe's Stone Crab is they have always had an affordable dish at their dining room, alright? And that dish is the little known. It's on the menu, but it's a hidden gem. And that is Dave, by the way, have you ever been to Joe's Stone Crab?

Dave Dammichek00:14:21

Never.

Jonathan Zaslow00:14:21

Okay.

Dave Dammichek00:14:22

And I would have thought, as an outsider, that that was a tourist trap. So I'm happy to hear that it's actually a great place.

Jonathan Zaslow00:14:28

No, it's the best. And the hidden gem there, especially if you want affordable, is the fried chicken. That's right. Joe's Stone Crab.

Speaker 1200:14:39

So good.

Jonathan Zaslow00:14:40

Has a fried chicken dish. Not only is it incredible, and it's a really healthy portion. It's a big portion. For years now, it has been $8.95. Incredible. It's the best deal. It's the best value. It's maybe the best value in all Miami at a restaurant. You know what?

Roy00:15:02

Whoa, take it. Whoa, slow down. Lunch special, flan again. You got a burger. You got a soda or a beer for $5.99. Now $6.99, but that's never here in the list.

Jonathan Zaslow00:15:12

Alright, so up for debate at the very least. And shocking news I saw this morning. The $8.95 fried chicken at Joe's Stone Crab is no more. It's no more. It's stunning how affordable and great and large the portion is at $8.95.

Roy00:15:32

Look how crispy and flaky.

Jonathan Zaslow00:15:34

It's so good. And based on rising costs in the restaurant industry, they're not getting rid of the fried chicken, Roy. Don't worry, alright? Tony, don't get worried. They're not getting rid of the fried chicken.

Roy00:15:47

I was a little worried. When you brought this up, I was worried.

Jonathan Zaslow00:15:49

I realized how that sounded when I went to Roy first there. That's why I made sure to include Tony. That was not good.

Roy00:15:54

Thought the king's birthday and Juneteenth. And Quantum.

Jonathan Zaslow00:15:57

I'm looking right at Roy, so he was the first person I said. That's why I included Tony.

Roy00:16:02

That's a play on for me. Go ahead.

Speaker 1300:16:05

Brother.

Roy00:16:05

Is it?

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:05

Yeah, I'm trying to help my guy out.

Roy00:16:07

Okay.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:08

Let the man drown? Come on.

Speaker 1300:16:09

Don't could have said anyone else's name.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:12

That's true. And that's why I immediately followed up with Tony.

Speaker 1300:16:15

Chris is right there.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:16

Chris, you too. Don't worry, Chris. They're not giving up the fried chicken.

Roy00:16:22

Oh my God.

Speaker 1300:16:23

That's insane. That is an error. That's bad.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:27

Let's not harp on it.

Roy00:16:28

I don't think anyone noticed.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:31

Whoa. Alright, I'll change the subject. Dave, ask me what my favorite dish is.

Dave Dammichek00:16:37

No, no, no. I don't want to spend some more time on that.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:39

I got to finish the story.

Dave Dammichek00:16:41

What led to Jonathan Zaslow? What choices did he make previously that got him to this place right here, right now? Roy, your thoughts.

Roy00:16:52

My favorite dish is revenge, and it's best served cold. The Miami Hurricanes have lost five straight in Champions League.

Jonathan Zaslow00:16:58

I have to end the story that raised the price to $14.95. You may continue.

Roy00:17:01

No, no, no. Thanks, Zaz. Thank you.

Jonathan Zaslow00:17:03

You didn't end the story. You might have ended your career. So let's go back roughly like 23 years ago, and the North Carolina Tar Heels pretty much ended Miami's run. The Connor Barth field goal through the uprights, Halloween weekend, spooky Saturday night. Miami was never the same. And since then, North Carolina, time and time again, has ended Miami's hopes of being back or getting to a major bowl game or having a really positive season.

Names like Hakeem Nix, names like Eric Ebron, names like Givante Williams, names like Michael Carter.

Speaker 1200:17:43

Brandon Tate.

Jonathan Zaslow00:17:44

Brandon Tate. Incredible names. Lore, this is the team that started the upside down you.

Speaker 1200:17:50

Ryan Switzer.

Jonathan Zaslow00:17:51

North Carolina has dominated this matchup since Miami has joined the ACC. And now Miami rolls in with the number one team in the country, ABC, primetime game, all the makings, Halloween night, against the greatest coach of all time. I'm spooked. A little spooked. And it can be understood because of what that team has represented in the 21st century.

Dave Dammichek00:18:18

I remember. I don't remember when it started, okay? But to me, the big Miami UNC moment, I think Butch was still the coach at UNC. And UNC came here and beat the Canes, and that was like the beginning of the upside down you.

Roy00:18:35

Don't you dare do that.

Dave Dammichek00:18:36

I'm just giving an example.

Roy00:18:38

Everyone knows what it is. You don't need to.

Speaker 1200:18:39

That's more offensive to Mike than what you said before.

Roy00:18:41

Yes, it is.

Dave Dammichek00:18:44

But that, to me, was the start of, "Oh, UNC, we hate their guts." That was the beginning for me.

Roy00:18:52

I hate these guys. I've been to Chapel Hill before. Mean fans.

Dave Dammichek00:18:56

Oh, it's a great-looking campus.

Roy00:18:57

Oh, it's great. Absolutely great.

Dave Dammichek00:19:01

Why are you saying it like that?

Roy00:19:02

What?

Dave Dammichek00:19:03

Who are you doing?

Roy00:19:04

Great.

Dave Dammichek00:19:04

That's me?

Roy00:19:05

That's great.

Dave Dammichek00:19:05

You need to work on that.

Roy00:19:06

That's great. What do you think about that impression, Roy?

Speaker 1300:19:10

Great.

Roy00:19:13

That's insane, dog. I can't believe you did that.

Dave Dammichek00:19:16

I apologize. I apologize.

Speaker 1300:19:18

I wouldn't have tried.

Dave Dammichek00:19:19

Roy, I apologize.

Jonathan Zaslow00:19:20

Don't worry, alright?

Dave Dammichek00:19:21

I apologized in your ear, didn't I, Roy?

Roy00:19:23

Yes, you did. And I laughed.

Dave Dammichek00:19:25

I felt bad.

Roy00:19:26

You were heard a sincere voice too.

Dave Dammichek00:19:29

That's right.

Jonathan Zaslow00:19:30

They're not getting rid of the fried chicken, Roy. Don't worry, alright?

Speaker 1300:19:33

Why do we have to keep playing it?

Roy00:19:35

Don't worry, alright?

Speaker 1300:19:37

Oh my God.

Roy00:19:38

Oh my God. Alright, you could get away with it.

Speaker 1300:19:41

I was looking right at his. I'm talking to him.

Roy00:19:44

Yeah. No, this is bad.

Jonathan Zaslow00:19:46

They're not getting rid of the fried chicken, Roy.

Speaker 1300:19:47

Oh my God. Why do we have to keep playing it?

Roy00:19:50

You're suspended. You're suspended. We need you today.

Jonathan Zaslow00:19:54

Starting Monday.

Roy00:19:54

But Monday, take the rest of the day off.

Jonathan Zaslow00:20:00

They're not getting rid of the fried chicken, Roy. Don't worry, alright? Roy, say something mean to me.

Roy00:20:05

No.

Jonathan Zaslow00:20:09

Roy.

Roy00:20:09

Let's try to move on.

Jonathan Zaslow00:20:10

Roy heard my sincere voice. He did.

Roy00:20:11

Alright. He heard it. You were like Professor X.

Dave Dammichek00:20:13

I hear that, my grind. What does it sound like, my grind? The Zaslow sincere voice.

Roy00:20:19

Roy. Roy. I'm very deeply sorry. I've offended you. That was not awesome. Bad news for my career. Bad news. Oh, man. Patrick Stewart died.

Dave Dammichek00:20:40

I think everybody knows about me.

Roy00:20:42

Patrick Stewart died. What's your favorite Patrick Stewart role that isn't Star Trek or X-Men? Go.

Jonathan Zaslow00:20:48

I don't have a favorite Patrick Stewart role that's not Star Trek. I mean, I didn't like Star Trek. I wasn't a Star Trek kid.

Roy00:20:54

Oh, man. He was awesome.

Jonathan Zaslow00:20:55

Okay. I didn't say anything about him. I'm not a Star Trek guy. Although I do like the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies. But I wasn't a Star Trek guy. Professor X. And what else would you tie Patrick Stewart to, if not those two roles?

Roy00:21:11

Masterminds. It was kind of like Home Alone, but for teenagers.

Jonathan Zaslow00:21:14

I don't even know what that is.

Roy00:21:15

Yeah. Masterminds was great.

Jonathan Zaslow00:21:18

I also think of him completely and rightfully so humiliating James Corden.

Roy00:21:23

That's right.

Jonathan Zaslow00:21:23

I remember him for that. Yeah. Because, I mean, who likes James Corden?

Roy00:21:27

This is a shock, though. No one saw this coming. He's featured. He plays Professor X once more in Avengers: Doomsday.

Jonathan Zaslow00:21:35

Well, that's the part that's shocking. He was 86 years old, I think, and apparently he was suffering from dementia and Lewy body. I forget what that is, though.

Roy00:21:44

Very short. I don't know what that is. Very short battles with this and obviously super private.

Jonathan Zaslow00:21:50

It's not a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Jeremy. That's Lewy Bossy.

Roy00:21:53

Oh.

Speaker 1200:21:55

He was in Robin Hood. He was the king.

Roy00:21:57

Good restaurant, though.

Speaker 1300:21:58

King Richard.

Roy00:21:59

Yeah, King Richard.

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:00

But if he was suffering from this, I mean, they filmed Avengers: Doomsday. It's not even out yet. So is he doing Avengers: Doomsday with dementia?

Roy00:22:09

I guess. Maybe not. Man, you want to talk about getting instant heat for Doctor Doom? It's going to be shocking. It's going to be shocking. You remember what Scarlet Witch did to him?

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:20

Yep.

Roy00:22:20

That was shocking too.

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:21

Snapped his neck.

Roy00:22:22

No, she didn't snap his neck. That's a misnomer. She grabbed him by the jaw. She tore his face in half.

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:27

Oh, wow.

Roy00:22:28

Yeah. Rewatch it.

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:29

Didn't know that.

Roy00:22:30

Yes. And that concludes our Patrick Stewart tribute.

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:33

Alright. Maybe we'll get back to it.

Dave Dammichek00:22:35

About Patrick Stewart, on one hand, it's like, "Wow, he was 86. I didn't realize he was that old." But on the other hand, it's hard to imagine Patrick Stewart as anything other than a middle-aged man. He obviously, at some point, I assume, when he was a teenager there, had to have hair. I just can't imagine what that must have looked like. Patrick Stewart, a young man, or born at age 38. You decide.

Jonathan Zaslow00:22:59

I mean, maybe similar to me. I mean, I had a great head of hair. Are you kidding me?

Roy00:23:03

2 or 3, January 6th.

Jonathan Zaslow00:23:05

I had a great how dare you. I had a great head of hair.

Dan Le Batard.

Jonathan Zaslow00:23:29

I don't know if it's strange for me, but like.

Roy00:23:32

Mike Ryan.

Jonathan Zaslow00:23:33

Oh, boy.

Roy00:23:34

This is the Dan Le Batard Show.

Jonathan Zaslow00:23:40

We're going to get back to Patrick Stewart. Let's talk about something that everybody is very excited about tonight. It's always exciting when your favorite team wins their first game. The Heat did it a few nights ago. Alright, the Heat are back in action tonight. When are the Cyclones going to win their first game?

Roy00:23:56

Alright, so this is really embarrassing for us. We are winless on the year. And we are past the midway point of the season. Now, everyone knows, I don't have to explain it to you.

Speaker 1200:24:09

Everyone knows Pelota here.

Roy00:24:10

That the worst thing you can do in highlight is be runner-up. And.

Speaker 1200:24:16

I thought you were going to say go winless. I'm like, it's pretty.

Roy00:24:18

No. No one's ever done that. No one's ever done that. But we're turning the season around tonight. But we lost the championship, as you all know, via double fault. And we had our Waterloo game about three weeks ago against the same team. Same exact scenario. Match point, we come back from 5-3 down. We force a match point in the third set. Iñaki's up there. Faults on the first serve. And a chill goes down everybody's spine because this is the exact way we lost the title.

Speaker 1200:24:50

You could hear the whispers throughout the whole fronton.

Roy00:24:52

Yeah. One of the players says something out loud. One of the players that's not playing in the game. He's just in the grandstands. Ben, that son of a gun. He goes. What did he say exactly? He's like, "Don't, don't, double fault."

Speaker 1300:25:06

Oh, why would he say that?

Speaker 1200:25:06

Like it was quiet at there.

Roy00:25:08

Yeah. He's like, "Don't double fault." And Iñaki double faults. We lose that game, our Waterloo game, the same exact way to the same exact team with the same exact double fault. And our season hasn't recovered. We've gone winless since. We had two draws on the season. So Cyclone Nation, I'm calling a players-only meeting.

Speaker 1200:25:29

That's how that works.

Jonathan Zaslow00:25:30

Can someone who's not a player call a players-only meeting?

Roy00:25:32

I'm calling it. I'm like, "You guys figure it out."

Jonathan Zaslow00:25:35

Yeah. We gather everyone and then walk out of the room.

Dave Dammichek00:25:37

That's leadership.

Roy00:25:38

You guys figure it out. We cannot be a punchline. And you know what? We had, as you know, when you lose a championship, you don't get four keepers. You only get three. And we made the right call. Undis out of his mind right now. Undis playing the best highlight that I've ever seen on the fronton. He's unconscious out there.

Speaker 1200:25:57

He's possessed out there.

Roy00:25:58

We had a let go of Hiro. It was a tough call. But we made the right call. We need our best players.

Jonathan Zaslow00:26:03

You got rid of a player?

Roy00:26:04

We had to.

Jonathan Zaslow00:26:06

You don't have to.

Roy00:26:06

No, you have to. You have to.

Jonathan Zaslow00:26:08

You don't have to.

Roy00:26:08

You only get three keepers when you're not the champion. If we had four keepers, we would have kept Hiro, and we'd probably be in the playoffs right now, not being an embarrassment. We need to turn the season around, and it starts tonight. Who are we playing?

Speaker 1200:26:22

I don't know.

Roy00:26:22

Me neither.

Jonathan Zaslow00:26:23

Locked in the two?

Roy00:26:24

Players-only meeting, though.

Jonathan Zaslow00:26:25

Dialed in.

Roy00:26:26

Figure it out.

Jonathan Zaslow00:26:29

Alright.

Dave Dammichek00:26:29

Zaz, okay, so the highlight team hasn't won, but the Dolphins has, which goes against exactly what the plan was, which was for them to lose all the games. And everybody's talking nationally in football circles about how Jeffrey Simmons swings the NFC, and specifically the NFC North and the Chicago Bears. And nobody's really paying attention to the other side of things, which is the Tennessee Titans are now officially the worst team in football and have now jumped your Miami Dolphins as the front runner to get the top pick in the draft, right?

Jonathan Zaslow00:27:03

You keep saying how the Dolphins' MO this year has been to tank. And I'm going to tell you again, I don't agree. I don't agree that that's their MO. The Dolphins aren't tanking. They're rebuilding. Those are two different things. They're not trying to lose on purpose. But if you're going to rebuild, you're going to lose a lot of games because you're not going to have a ton of good players because you're essentially starting from scratch. I'm going to give okay, so let me play this for you. Caleb Douglas this past weekend had two touchdowns. He made his return for the Dolphins.

He had two touchdowns. The Dolphins won their first game of the season. Are you guys talking about me over there on the other side?

Roy00:27:38

Yeah, we're so unshaken. We're not talking about you. We're like, "Roy, you're so kind."

Jonathan Zaslow00:27:43

It's crazy.

Roy00:27:43

It's insane.

Jonathan Zaslow00:27:44

I don't like what happened.

Speaker 1200:27:45

You're like, "At least we were good teammates."

Jonathan Zaslow00:27:47

I don't like what happened either. Okay? I realized how I sounded when I went to Roy first there. That's why I made sure to include Tony. That was not good.

Roy00:27:54

Brother, I can't even look at you.

Jonathan Zaslow00:27:56

You did this, man.

Roy00:27:57

I can't.

Jonathan Zaslow00:27:58

We're going to have to apologize.

Roy00:28:00

Damn.

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:00

I already did apologize.

Roy00:28:02

We're going to have to apologize for you. This is something that's going to follow your career.

Speaker 1200:28:06

Very sorry.

Roy00:28:08

Very sorry. Dave mentioned some Miami Dolphins, and they did win, but it still begs the question. The number one team is going to Chapel Hill. Is this still the biggest gulf between pro team and college team?

Dave Dammichek00:28:19

I don't know why this is a thing for you. It's a great observation I made once about five weeks ago, and now you use it as a cudgel against me. It was a keen note from your pal Dave, and somehow that's an evil in me.

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:32

As a what? You use it as a what?

Dave Dammichek00:28:34

A cudgel.

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:35

A cudgel?

Roy00:28:36

You know our HR guy is black, right?

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:39

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Roy00:28:41

Damn.

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:42

Yeah. I'm looking forward to that talk. Yeah.

Roy00:28:44

Yeah. You would have had an advantage if you were white, but now you're playing a road game.

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:48

Yeah.

Roy00:28:49

Yeah. Caught a static gesture. Road game, prime time, under the lights, spooky, conference.

Jonathan Zaslow00:28:55

Boy, say something mean to me. Do you know what a cudgel is? Put it on the pole, Jeremy. Do you know what a cudgel is?

Roy00:29:04

Got it.

Jonathan Zaslow00:29:06

So I want to get back to the Dolphins here real quick.

Roy00:29:07

You don't have to do anything he says anymore. He's out of here. I think the gulf has shrunk.

Speaker 1300:29:19

Yeah.

Roy00:29:19

Did you also say the Dolphins is, or the Dolphins has? The Dolphins has? Because we're confused before the show. Is it the Heat are or the Heat is?

Speaker 1200:29:28

The Heat is on.

Roy00:29:28

The Heat is playing tonight, or the Heat are playing tonight?

Jonathan Zaslow00:29:34

I'll never know.

Roy00:29:36

Aw.

Jonathan Zaslow00:29:36

What is it?

Dave Dammichek00:29:37

I've always been told that the way it sounds worse is the right way.

Roy00:29:41

Yeah.

Dave Dammichek00:29:42

And I just don't live by that. I'm going to say it, what sounds better, and you can bleep off.

Roy00:29:46

That's right.

Jonathan Zaslow00:29:47

Thank you.

Roy00:29:47

The Heat are a collective group of people.

Jonathan Zaslow00:29:50

No, the Heat is a collective group of people.

Dave Dammichek00:29:52

Alright, let's do that also then, Jeremy. Is it the Heat is or the Heat are?

Roy00:29:56

Okay.

Dave Dammichek00:29:56

Oh, come on.

Roy00:29:57

Is that the pole?

Dave Dammichek00:29:58

Obviously are.

Roy00:29:59

Heat are on.

Dave Dammichek00:30:00

There's a couple of them out there.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:01

Yeah. Chris is right. The Heat are on? Nobody said the Heat are on. Nobody says that.

Roy00:30:07

Heat is on, baby. That's the actual Heat. That's an is.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:11

You don't know that for sure.

Roy00:30:12

In the draft.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:13

Actually, whatever you say is right.

Roy00:30:14

Thank you. Thank you. Yeah.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:15

Yeah, go.

Roy00:30:16

Yeah. You back up.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:17

Whatever you say.

Roy00:30:17

But when you're at the Zaslow Mansion in your uncomfortable couch, and you look at your beautiful family, and you do the hand crank to get your seat back, you're like, "The Heat is on TV," or, "The Heat are on TV."

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:30

So Dave, that's another thing, right? I'm finally getting that new couch this weekend, alright, that Mike brings up there. I have a very that's the sound of me.

Dave Dammichek00:30:41

I need fried chicken on that couch.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:43

No.

Roy00:30:44

What are we doing here?

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:44

No, no. Play on.

Roy00:30:46

I suggest you save your money.

Jonathan Zaslow00:30:48

I'm finally getting a new couch this weekend. I'm finally getting a new couch this weekend. And here's the problem that I run into, right? Because they're going to come and deliver the couch. I'm going to buy the couch this weekend. They're going to come and deliver it whenever they deliver it.

Roy00:31:01

Oh, they're delivering it?

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:02

How else is it going to happen?

Roy00:31:03

I thought you were going to take it home.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:04

Like in.

Roy00:31:05

Yeah, like on top of the car.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:07

In a U-Haul?

Roy00:31:08

No.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:08

No.

Roy00:31:08

Clark Griswold.

Dave Dammichek00:31:09

You're vague.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:09

No. The guys. The guys who work there. They're going to come deliver it to my house. But here's my problem that I run into.

Roy00:31:16

The movers? The moving people?

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:18

The furniture people. Alright. But here's the thing.

Roy00:31:21

You shook.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:23

I am shook.

Roy00:31:25

I'm very rattled. Very, very rattled.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:28

Why are you talking like that?

Roy00:31:29

I'm super rattled. I'm here for support. I'm here to help. Lock in. Get to what you wanted to say.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:37

Here's my problem, Dave.

Roy00:31:38

When you fall, we pick you up.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:39

Clearly.

Roy00:31:40

I'm here for you.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:42

The movers, the guys.

Roy00:31:43

I've known Jonathan Zaslow to be a good man over the course of his 20 years.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:47

I don't need any of that.

Roy00:31:49

I don't need any of that. I'm preparing my statement. I already wrote it in the plug.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:51

I just need Roy to say it. You get one.

Roy00:31:52

Roy's the only one I need to say it. Yes, you are a good man. You are. You're my boy, and I'm letting you slide this time.

Jonathan Zaslow00:31:59

Roy's in charge.

Roy00:32:02

But next time, you get one.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:05

You get one.

Roy00:32:06

You get one. And just one.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:11

Alright, go ahead. Couch. Come on. What do I do with the couch I already have? They're not going to take it.

Roy00:32:18

No, you put it in front of your house.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:19

Bulk pickup.

Roy00:32:20

Someone takes it.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:21

First Monday? What is it? First Monday of the month?

Roy00:32:23

I don't know. That stuff always figures it out. Christmas tree. I just put it in the front. Someone takes it. I don't know how.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:29

Oh, you put it in the front?

Roy00:32:29

Yeah, you put it out there now. I put it out in the front, and someone just takes it. And it's usually some dude in a pickup truck that just wants to light it on fire. But sometimes the garbage people do that too.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:37

That's the thing. Well, the garbage people are supposed to do it, but what I like to do is I like to take the needles off and cut it up, and then use it for the first day it gets cold, put it in a bonfire so you got the smell of the Christmas tree.

Roy00:32:47

Have you ever thrown.

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:47

Dave, I know you like that kind of thing.

Roy00:32:49

Have you ever started a bonfire and thrown a full Christmas tree in it?

Jonathan Zaslow00:32:52

Oh, my God.

Dave Dammichek00:32:53

It's too crackly, though.

Roy00:32:53

No, that thing lights up the night sky.

Dave Dammichek00:32:55

Yeah, for like three minutes. How did the Christmas tree have the couch become the Christmas tree? I missed that training.

Roy00:33:01

Because you put it in the front and someone takes it. You never put old furniture in the front and someone's like, "I can do something with that."

Dave Dammichek00:33:06

Isn't there one time a month, though, to do that?

Roy00:33:08

Yes, yes.

Dave Dammichek00:33:09

You shouldn't be just doing that any day of the month.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:10

Well, that's bulk pickup, but I don't think that's what Mike's talking about.

Roy00:33:13

No, someone just takes it. You put it in the front of your house. Someone just takes it.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:16

Or you call a buddy with a pickup truck, and then you kick it off the back of the pickup truck somewhere random, and then it lives there for like a month, and then somebody takes it there.

Roy00:33:23

I guarantee you, you put that couch in front of your house, someone's going to take it.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:27

Yeah.

Roy00:33:27

It's been raining lately, too. I don't know.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:29

No, someone will be like, "I can reupholster that bad boy. I can take that."

Roy00:33:34

Yeah.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:34

Yeah. Someone will take it.

Dave Dammichek00:33:35

You have a porch, Zaslow? Maybe put it on the porch if it's got a little cover on it. It gives it six months, a year extra life for you.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:42

Nah, my porch is for joy.

Dave Dammichek00:33:44

Nah, this is a big couch. This is a sectional. It's not going to fit in my porch.

Roy00:33:48

Put it in front of your house.

Jonathan Zaslow00:33:50

He's not even talking like he usually does. That's his real voice. It's like Dusty Rhodes. It's like home voice.

Roy00:33:57

I don't know who are you? You're not even doing your character anymore.

Jonathan Zaslow00:34:00

Hard times, daddy.

Roy00:34:01

Recalibrate.

Dave Dammichek00:34:02

Bobcat Goldwing gets real.

Jonathan Zaslow00:34:08

I had a really good local hour planned for everybody.

Roy00:34:10

Yeah? What was on your topic list? Come on. Let's go through it. Panthers play tonight.

Jonathan Zaslow00:34:14

Well.

Roy00:34:15

Highlight. We already burned through it.

Dave Dammichek00:34:16

We were starting out with Joe's. I didn't get to finish that story because something happened.

Jonathan Zaslow00:34:19

Yeah, what happened there?

Roy00:34:20

Yeah, something happened.

Jonathan Zaslow00:34:21

Derailed there.

Dave Dammichek00:34:22

And then the Cyclones. Alright, we got to that.

Roy00:34:24

Yeah, we talked through UNC.

Dave Dammichek00:34:25

And then I was going to talk Miami UNC. Did a little bit of that.

Roy00:34:28

You worried about this game?

Dave Dammichek00:34:30

And Miami UNC?

Roy00:34:32

Yeah.

Dave Dammichek00:34:32

No.

Roy00:34:32

Not at all?

Dave Dammichek00:34:33

No.

Roy00:34:33

Not even a little bit?

Dave Dammichek00:34:34

No.

Roy00:34:34

Okay.

Dave Dammichek00:34:34

And then I was going to talk a little bit about the Dolphins, but that kind of got sidetracked.

Roy00:34:39

Who do they play? I don't even know.

Dave Dammichek00:34:40

Patriots.

Roy00:34:41

Patriots? Oh, they're playing better.

Dave Dammichek00:34:42

Yeah. The Dolphins or the Patriots?

Roy00:34:45

Both.

Dave Dammichek00:34:45

Okay. And then I was going to talk about Metallica at the Sphere.

Roy00:34:49

Ooh, you were going to talk about Metallica?

Dave Dammichek00:34:51

Yeah.

Jonathan Zaslow00:34:51

That's local.

Roy00:34:52

Yeah, that's a local topic.

Dave Dammichek00:34:53

Well, it's about me, and I'm local.

Roy00:34:55

Alright. What you're going to get?

Dave Dammichek00:34:58

And then I was going to talk a little bit about Thursday Night Football last night.

Roy00:35:01

You're going to get vertigo?

Dave Dammichek00:35:02

Well, I don't know if I'm going to get vertigo.

Roy00:35:04

At the Sphere?

Dave Dammichek00:35:04

Are we going to talk about it now?

Roy00:35:06

Let's talk about it.

Dave Dammichek00:35:07

You close your eyes the whole time. That's what I should do.

Roy00:35:11

You've never been to the Sphere?

Dave Dammichek00:35:13

No. I've never been to okay.

Roy00:35:15

At a Sphere?

Dave Dammichek00:35:15

So to back up, I've never been to the Sphere, and I don't know if I can go to Sphere because I suffer from vertigo. Alright. For instance, I was in Vegas earlier this year, and we were there for Valentine's weekend, and my wife wanted to go to Sphere because they do Wizard of Oz every day. There's always Wizard of Oz playing at Sphere. And so my wife wanted to go. I'm like, "I can't go because I'm going to get sick." She knows that. So I dropped her off. She went to Sphere by herself and saw Wizard of Oz. I went to the casino, and we met up afterward.

But I want to go see Metallica. Mike, you're going to see Metallica at Sphere.

Roy00:35:50

Yeah. This will be the first band that I actually am a fan of. I've been in the Sphere twice before.

Dave Dammichek00:35:55

It's cool.

Roy00:35:56

Yeah. I got vertigo from the elevation during U2's performance.

Dave Dammichek00:36:02

So I suffer regularly from.

Roy00:36:04

Sure, that wasn't the mushrooms? No, it was a U2 joke that nobody got.

Dave Dammichek00:36:08

So I suffer regularly from vertigo.

Jonathan Zaslow00:36:10

Oh, they sure.

Roy00:36:11

Yeah.

Dave Dammichek00:36:17

So my problem here, Dave, is I think I'll get vertigo. I think it'll be triggered from going to the Sphere, but I don't know for sure. I want to see Metallica. It looks like a great show. Am I going to spend all that money, plane, tickets, hotel? Maybe I'll enjoy the show, or maybe 10 minutes in, I'm puking everywhere, and I got to leave. So I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. I hear your concerns, and it would be a spendy visit to the Sphere.

By the way, so you're going without the article in front of it. You just go Sphere, not the Sphere.

Roy00:36:56

I noticed that too.

Dave Dammichek00:36:56

It's Sphere.

Roy00:36:57

Yeah, it's called Sphere.

Jonathan Zaslow00:36:58

Sphere.

Roy00:36:58

No.

Dave Dammichek00:36:59

Okay. I don't know. I don't know either way.

Roy00:37:00

I'm pretty sure it's the Sphere. Say the way that Payman said it.

Jonathan Zaslow00:37:03

Sphere.

Dave Dammichek00:37:04

I was going to say, in the spirit of that entire town, roll the dice and make the trip out there, but literally, if 10 minutes in you get vertigo, go literally roll the dice, and that'll be a decent fallback, right?

Roy00:37:17

Zaslow, I have great news for you, and you really needed a win. It is just called Sphere.

Dave Dammichek00:37:22

I noticed.

Roy00:37:22

Now, it's theSphere.com, so maybe they just couldn't get the domain. But it does say theWizardofOz@Sphere.

Dave Dammichek00:37:29

Yeah.

Roy00:37:30

Wait, the website's theSphere.com? Yep.

Dave Dammichek00:37:32

Alright, I win.

Roy00:37:33

Well, it also said theWizardofOz, and I thought it was just Wizard of Oz.

Dave Dammichek00:37:37

Kraken is way worse than Heat for me.

Roy00:37:40

What happened to your Dan Le Batard voice? Yeah, you did the Dan thing where something got stuck in your throat.

Dave Dammichek00:37:47

Well, I did. Wow, man.

Roy00:37:48

Well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, wow.

Dave Dammichek00:37:50

That you could pick that up from 3,000 miles away. But yes, Kraken.

Roy00:37:53

Certainly the worst moment.

Dave Dammichek00:37:54

There's only one. It's a mythical beast in the sea. There's only one of them, as far as I know, and yet the hockey team has 20 of them. You expect me to go singular on Kraken, but I should go singular because, as I say, it's a singular mythical beast. But then there are 20 hockey players. It's very confusing.

Roy00:38:15

Do you say the Kraken are or the Kraken is?

Dave Dammichek00:38:18

Well, what it should be is the Krakens, right?

Roy00:38:21

Yeah, multiple. You can have more than one Kraken. You can't have more than one Heat.

Dave Dammichek00:38:27

But the Heat are. Not very good so far.

Roy00:38:29

I think we woke up today and decided.

Jonathan Zaslow00:38:31

Yeah.

Roy00:38:31

We're not going to be good teammates today.

Jonathan Zaslow00:38:33

Yeah, we're not here to help you. You make a mistake. If you slip up, we're like the Indiana Hoosiers of last year. We're an execution team back here. You cannot make a mistake around us. We will capitalize.

Dave Dammichek00:38:44

Keep it clean.

Roy00:38:44

Cool. Talking about college football, I do want to take a second with this UCF uniform on to shout out Space You because this is a big day, okay? UCF is 8-1 in their Space uniforms over the course of time. And for those who are trying to claim any other university is Space You, absolutely not. It's the University of Central Florida because it was founded as Florida Technological University back in 1963. The entire mission of the university.

Dave Dammichek00:39:09

ITU.

Roy00:39:10

Was to provide personnel to support the growing US space program at NASA's Kennedy Center. Now, they've been doing that for 60-plus years. There's 35 or more now space-related degrees at UCF, including aerospace medicine. How about 30% of Kennedy Space Center employees are UCF alumni? It's the number one provider of aerospace and defense talent in the nation. 50-yard line lined up exactly with the launch complex.

Dave Dammichek00:39:42

You're still talking about 39A.

Roy00:39:44

Just toast my man.

Dave Dammichek00:39:45

This is NASA's most historic launch pad. It's right there. You could see the space launches from the and look, all the details on the uniform. I mean, this looks.

Roy00:39:53

I went through exactly.

Dave Dammichek00:39:54

Guys, this is looking like exactly.

Roy00:39:56

In like 30 seconds.

Dave Dammichek00:39:57

Exactly. All of these different space helmets. You got the Apollo space visor here with the gold. You got the different details. You got red and blue on the sleeves. Red and blue on the sleeves because that's how you cuff in the gloves on a space outfit. There's a million different details here. I'm not going to go through all of them. I'm not going to go through all of them.

Roy00:40:13

Remember what I did earlier on the show?

Dave Dammichek00:40:14

UCF.

Roy00:40:15

Land the spaceship.

Dave Dammichek00:40:16

UCF.

Roy00:40:17

You're wearing pants.

Dave Dammichek00:40:18

And Space You.

Roy00:40:18

You're wearing the sports pants.

Dave Dammichek00:40:19

Space.

Roy00:40:20

Show your pants off.

Dave Dammichek00:40:21

Universe.

Roy00:40:22

Let me see that ass. Ooh.

Dave Dammichek00:40:24

Space.

Roy00:40:24

Not great.

Dave Dammichek00:40:25

Oh, it's just all right.

Roy00:40:25

Did you shit yourself?

Advertisement00:40:26

Could be worse. Could be worse. Alright, that's an angle I wish I didn't have. UCF, Space You, outer space in general deserves a toast. And folks, worth a toast is presented by Quervo. Keep it fun.

Keep it Quervo.

Dave Dammichek00:40:43

Lost it.

Roy00:40:43

You guys are bad teammates.

Dave Dammichek00:40:44

I know what I'm doing.

Roy00:40:45

You know what? Just nobody speak. This back row is on demon time. We do need to get you into the gym and get some glutes going.

Dave Dammichek00:40:54

No, man, my glutes are fine.

Roy00:40:55

No, the ass is fine. It's good to see you. It's got a flat ass.

Dave Dammichek00:40:58

That's not true.

Roy00:40:58

Flat?

Dave Dammichek00:40:59

My ass is fine. Trust me. Did you call it a flass?

Roy00:41:03

Yeah, that's right. Now you're getting it. Pile on. It's fun, isn't it? Jeremy, say something racist.

Dave Dammichek00:41:14

Good.

Roy00:41:15

Good hour. There's a lot of foods on the table.

Dave Dammichek00:41:19

Memorable hour. Memorable local today. Yeah.

Roy00:41:22

Probably your last one. I've been told my ass looks good.

Dave Dammichek00:41:27

Someone lied.

Roy00:41:28

Several people.

Dave Dammichek00:41:29

They lied to you.

Roy00:41:31

Boom.

Dave Dammichek00:41:31

Mostly my wife.

Roy00:41:32

But several people.

Dave Dammichek00:41:33

She has to. They're not getting rid of the fried chicken, Roy. Don't worry, alright?

Roy00:41:42

Don't worry, alright. Don't worry, alright.

Dave Dammichek00:41:46

Why would anyone be worried?

Roy00:41:47

No, Roy specifically. Don't you worry. Don't you panic.

Dave Dammichek00:41:52

I shouldn't be laughing.

Roy00:41:53

Yeah, you shouldn't be. Mission accomplished. Yeah.

Dave Dammichek00:41:56

Talk about ass. Your ass is done.

Roy00:41:57

Your ass is grass, pal. Grady's outside the window right now. Your toast.

Dave Dammichek00:42:03

Worth a toast. I realized how that sounded when I went to Roy first there. That's why I made sure to include Tony. That was not good.
