So are we supposed to start the podcast?

00:00:07

Ready? One, two, three.

00:00:10

Patriots, gay triets, they triets, black triets, brown triets, and everybody that's in MAGA, or Sucks Up to Billionaires, or it's just an asshole, can do wet pumps. Suck off.

00:00:22

Sucks Up to Billionaires. That's a great addition. We needed that.

00:00:26

Okay, here's a new thing that I want us to start. You know how they're always like, DEI hire, DEI hire, and they're just on and on and on. Well, first and foremost, there's some new reporting came out that the dismantling of DEI has hurt white men the most, which I think is hilarious. I haven't dug into that. But secondly, I want to bring up our own term for this, and it's a B-A-K hire, a billionaire ass kissing hire. And just think about in the Trump administration, they're ubiquitous. I mean, they're just all of these people that worship these emotionally stunted billionaires, and that's why they get hired. That's the only qualification. They're billionaire ass kissers. It's like, look at Barry Weiss.

00:01:11

It's unbelievable, the destruction of UBS news under Barry Weiss. I was thinking, I watched that documentary about the submersible, and I thought, billionaires are just fucking bored. They just have nothing better to do than run around wondering what the Titanic looks looks like. And then there's this whole growing group of billionaires that want to see the destruction of everything else. It's like they're sucked up to destruction. I don't know if it's just out of sheer boredom or hate, or rage. But you brought up something a long time ago that I thought was really important. As a billionaire, you would imagine you'd be completely free. You have fuck you money, you can do whatever the fuck you want You don't answer in it. Anybody money is not an object. And it seems that the billionaires that are in the news the most are the ones that are so tied up. They have no freedom because they have to bend over and kiss the ass of Donald Trump.

00:02:15

Yeah. I just can't imagine that you get... I guess I can't imagine it because in order to be a Jeff Bezos, you have exploited labor. You have chosen money over human beings. You have chosen money over the people that make the money for you, over their quality of life. I think that creates some psychosis in these billionaires. Plus, I think they get to where they think they're superhuman and experts on everything. Like, Oh, I'm going to be a submersive expert. Jeff Bezos, I'm building a rocket. Elon Musk is building a rocket. They think they become experts in everything. Larry Ellison has no business. He's the listener. He's the guy that owns Warner Brothers, CBS. And his intentions of owning this aren't because he cares about journalism, aren't because he cares about the First Amendment and preserving democracy, it's because he wants to propagandize the public. And I just have come to the conclusion, and others before me were sounding this alarm far before I was on it, so I was late to the party, that unrestrained, unrestricted capitalism is exploitative by nature, and people start to value money and those who make it over everything else.

00:03:42

And that's where I think we've completely lost our way. But the billionaires, they get their psychosis. I'm interested in this is the billionaire ass kissers. What do you gain out of that? I don't know if I could get up every day and go kiss some He's a piece of shit's ass. Could you imagine if you had to work for Elon Musk? That's your boss. He's your boss.

00:04:10

First of all, he's on a trip all the time. I mean, he appears completely fucked up every time I see him. He thinks he's hot because he has gronk telling people what a great body he has. That in and of itself would be a reason to run. But can you imagine getting up? First of all, him speaking is like, can you imagine being in a three-hour meeting with him stumbling over words, the speech pattern, which, again, I don't know if that's ketamine or just his speech pattern, but it would be I don't know what... I would think I would rather just say, Fuck it, and sell magazines on the street corner. That would be preferable than having to sit and listen to him talk. But all these crazy ideas, like, do you to agree? We're going to conquer Mars. We're going to be on Mars. Okay, even though there's nothing to back that up. But he says it, so do you have to agree with everything he says? Is he like a Trump? It's amazing to me.

00:05:16

I mean, I've read some stats that he could... He's going to be the world's first trillionaire, which is so obscene in and of itself. Now, Tesla's stock is still so high, considering his first customer base were liberals that cared about the environment. And then he goes full tilt MAGA, and now the Liberals don't want his cars anymore. Maga, they don't want to drive an electric car because they drive a truck because they don't want everybody to think they're a pussy to drive some California eco friendly car. You got to have a truck with truck nets and all this stuff. Tesla sales are down. Every time I hear him speak, I am just like, Oh, my God. This is not an impressive person. It's always Elon Musk is a genius. We just attribute this genius to people who are really actually not really geniuses. They're just really good exploiters. They're very good at exploiting people because there's an empathy chip that's missing, which is why I think they've colluded with these far-right religious people that also have a problem with empathy. And so the B-A-K hires are what get me. Every day you go and you have to go kiss his ass.

00:06:34

And even for these billionaires, I've always thought this, you've got to go make a trophy and go give it to this guy who... Like red neck America is like, Yeah, he's a man. He's a real man. And Donald Trump is the biggest old queen I've ever seen in my entire life. Full face and makeup, listening to Fantom of the Opera, obsessed with his decorating projects, obsessed with his resentments. And that's their idea of a hyper-masculine guy. It's just these billionaires that have to go make... I'll never forget Tim Cook. Yeah. Made this ridiculous trophy and goes in there just because he wants some chips for the iPhone or some bullshit that he just wouldn't say, You know what? We're rich as shit at Apple. Right. Every MF on the planet has an iPhone. Everybody's got MacBooks. We're going to sit this out. We are not not going to bend the knee to this man. And so many of these people have bent the knee to him, to me, is the biggest indictment on billionaires that I've ever seen. And you don't see billionaires coming out and saying, We need to stop this. We need to protect our democracy.

00:07:52

I did see, and I don't know if he's a billionaire or not, but he was for sure a multimillionaire, Mitt Romney, who I used to refer to as Mittons from me when he ran against Obama. Mittons did a post where he's like, I think it was an opinion piece, maybe for the Washington Post or something. And it was, We're going to have to start taxing wealthy people like me. Of course, when he ran for President, he was a Senate, he was all chips in on helping country club Republicans get more wealth, avoid taxes, and helping them exploit people more. But I saw him do that. But also, Mittons It's shocked the shit out of me. I'll never forget I had long COVID. You remember that, Pimes? It's October 2020. I was quarantined forever. And I'm going down a rabbit hole watching BLM protests on TikTok, which I just discovered. And I'll be goddamned if there wasn't Mitten's Romney with a mask on in Salt Lake at a BLM rally. And I was like, What the fuck is he doing at Black Lives Matter? I love it. Researched it. He has a Black grandkid. It's interesting to me that a lot of these men that have supported Trump in the past seem to have really, really distanced theirselves from him.

00:09:12

You know, former Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan. I forget what the other guy's name was. It was Speaker of the House when Obama was in. He was a big smoker, and he cried all the time. John- He was always crying.

00:09:28

It's going to drive me crazy.

00:09:30

Yeah, but you know what I'm talking about.

00:09:31

I can't remember. Yeah.

00:09:33

Like total smoker face and he was always crying.

00:09:35

.

00:09:37

Yeah. You know they're not into all this shit. Even George W. Bush, they incubated all They love this shit. They incubated Trump, and then they know how crazy he is, and he knows they know how wrong they were, and they just sit over to the side and don't fight this.

00:09:56

Yeah, it's really unbelievable. I mean, I I look at 2025 in the hole, and I just think, wow, it is so much worse than I thought it could be, and I knew it was going to be bad. I mean, I knew it was, but it is so much faster. What I guess I've discovered more than anything is how sadistic a lot of the population is. They like seeing other people hurt. I mean, it's not just Steven Miller and those cronies. There's a swath of the US population that fucking likes it.

00:10:35

All right, Pumps, what have you had it with?

00:10:37

Okay, what I've had it with is I've had so many people ask me, What's your New Year's resolution for 2026? And I'm like, A couple of things. Number one, I don't make resolutions because I invariably fail to meet them. Number two, if I really did have a resolution, wouldn't that be nosy for you to ask? Wouldn't you be prying into my personal boundaries to ask me what my self-improvement list would be? And then number three, I'm like, Every single fucking person in the United States of America needs to have one resolution, and that is making it to the midterms. We can't worry about your weight loss and you're quitting smoking, and not drinking wine in January. We need to be singularly focused on getting to the midterms and saving democracy. And I feel like a lot more people than I thought at this point would be into it that are like, Okay, we have to get to the midterms. Even people I didn't expect saying, Okay, we've got to stop the train. That's off the rails. But yeah, so I'm just like, If I had a resolution, I think you're nosy to ask.

00:11:53

My favorite part of that grievance is you saying people getting into your personal boundaries.

00:12:02

My personal boundaries are new. You know that these are very personal boundaries are a new concept for me, as you well know. I don't know. The old listeners will know. I came home from therapy Monday, and I tell Jennifer, Oh, my God, we had a breakthrough in therapy today. She said, I lack personal boundaries. Jennifer goes, I could have told you that 10 years ago for free.

00:12:30

I mean, you busted out laughing because it's like, Yeah, that's right.

00:12:35

I don't have personal boundaries. So now that I have them, and I'm more aware of them, I'm like, Why the fuck do you care? And asking what your resolution is is small talk, which I hate, even though I participate in it.

00:12:50

Okay. I don't know if mine is so much of a hannot or grievance, but it's a story that I have to share with you and the listener that have been on my I'm married to a hypochondriac journey. And that hypochondriac, as everybody knows, is Josh. And perhaps I've been waiting to tell you this story since for three or four weeks, but I decided to wait to tell you while we were recording. And so, listener, you may have noticed last week, Pumps did... We started the intro of an episode together, and then Pumps interviewed the guest by herself, because while we were filming, my beloved French Bulldog, Debbie, had a seizure. And so I just had to scoop him up and had to introduce the guest and then just log out, and I couldn't participate anymore. So it was Debbie's second seizure. So Josh comes up to New York that next day, and I have a vet in New York now, and he made a house call to come check on Tubby. And Josh had been at the gym and he walks back in and I'm sitting in my living room with the veterinarian and the veterinarian's assistant, Tabi, Tobi's sister, Cha-cha, and myself.

00:14:04

And the veterinarian tells me, because we ran all these testing at the emergency vet, he's like, I think he needs to go see a neurologist, a pet neurologist. He needs an MRI. So Josh comes in around this time, and I say, Josh, Debbie has to go see a neurologist. And Josh says, like me.

00:14:29

No, that was not his first comment.

00:14:31

Yes. I look at the vet and the vet assistant, look at me, and I go, he's a hypochondriac. You can just disregard him. There's nothing wrong with his brain. The MRI, the doctor told him, You're fine, leave me alone, was basically the diagnosis. I'll be damn proud. They start... Josh goes, Yeah, I get these tension headaches.

00:15:02

To the vet? Yes.

00:15:05

He said, I get these tension headaches, and they're telling me that maybe I should take SSRIs, and I don't think I want to take those anymore because I used to take them, and now I don't take SSRIs anymore. Then the vet starts giving Josh medical advice- Stop. For the hypochondria and the tension headaches. I am sitting there like, only Josh, only a hypochondriac comes and ogards a senior dog, Tubby, who's 10 years old, which is like 70 or 80 in dog years. He's had two seizures. And this is a very serious medical appointment that I'm focused on, making sure that we get to the bottom of these seizures. And the next thing I know, the veterinarian is giving Josh medical advice, and Josh is just lapping it up. And then he glances over at me and I have this face. And I am just like, Shut the fuck up. You are not Bogart the vet. You cannot Bogart the vet. And this goes on for five or 10 minutes. And then, of course, the vet leaves and I go, You're un-fucking- believable. You are talking to Tubby's doctor about your imagined brain disease that you don't I have.

00:16:31

Because we know you don't have it because you've had voluntary CAT scans with and without contrast, if I'm not mistaken.

00:16:38

He said everything. The last doctor he went to, they kept handing him down, and I think he finally got to a resident, and she was like, There's nothing wrong with you. I can't see you anymore. There's nothing I can do for you. This is over. She broke up with him. And so he's desperate, right? Just a total act of desperation. And he just comes in and hijacks Debbie's vet, who's the kindest, nicest man on the planet. But yeah, then he starts talking to... Then they start having this whole conversation about SSRIs, all this shit that we've all talked about, as you know, for years, ad nauseam.

00:17:18

The tension headaches have completely, I think it's outpaced the loss of hearing, the imaginary loss of hearing.

00:17:25

Oh, my God. Over New Year's, I was back in Oklahoma, at our Oklahoma house, and I noticed where we keep all of our medications, there was a bottle of earwax removal medicine. To our listeners, if there's any new listeners, before the tension headaches, we had ear issues, ear wax, ear blockage. Other than, I will say this to give Josh credit, other than the relapse with Debbie's veterinarian, I really hear much about since the doctor fired him and said, I can't see you anymore. We're done. I can't do anything for you. You're completely healthy. He doesn't bring it up anymore. He won't say anything around me because he knows the eye roll and the sign. He will, I'll notice we'll be sitting somewhere and he goes like this. If you're not watching, if you're listening, I have my fingers at my temples and I'm rubbing them like I'm just in so much pain. But I just thought you would get the biggest kick out of he's so desperate, he's seeking advice from the veterinary.

00:18:32

I mean, even for a hypochondriac like Josh, that is a surprise. Well, I have a story I haven't told you, and I keep forgetting to tell you, but I'm glad you brought this up. So I had a plumbing issue. It was on a Saturday. So I called and I was like, How much extra is it? They said, It's 50 bucks to come out on Saturday. I was like, Okay. Well, when I got the bill, when the guy fixed it and gave me the bill, I was like, I thought you said it was 50 bucks. He was like, Oh, Well, I forgot to tell you, blah, blah, blah, whatever. So anyway, then he comes back to me and he goes, I saved you some money. Now, granted, we never talked about anything. He goes, I saved you some money. I gave you the senior discount. I was like, So you gave me the senior discount? I didn't even ask, What's the age? Because at that point, I was scared to know if it was 75 I was just like, It's better not to know. But yeah, I got involuntarily given the senior discount.

00:19:37

I would have demanded, I'd remove the discount. Remove the senior discount. I do not want to pay the senior discount. If you want to give me the Gen-X discount, I'll take it, but I will not take the senior discount, just on principle. Yeah.

00:19:51

So that was that.

00:19:53

All right. Welcome to I've Had It. I'm Jennifer.

00:19:56

I'm Angie.

00:19:57

Let's do a little Let's do a little check in with Kylie. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. My two elderly moms.

00:20:08

Yes. Would you have taken the senior discount, Kylie?

00:20:10

I would have, yeah.

00:20:12

Well, because you're 30. Oh, I have to. Okay, so one day, Kylie and I are on the phone. We're talking about something, and she goes, Well, she's a lot older. I mean, no, she goes, She's really old. I go, How old is she? She said, 40. And then I go, Fuck you, Kylie. And she goes, Oh, I forgot who I was talking to.

00:20:32

Yeah. She did a similar thing to me. She had some Zoom call with some people, and I go, What were they like? And she said, Oh, they were old. Not as old as you, but old. And I was just saying, You are such a cunt, Kylie. That is unbelievable. But here's the thing, I respect it. I respect the hell out of a slam like that. I really do. Even if I'm the subject of it, it was so good. It was so well-delivered. I have to admire it. Yeah. I did that both in the same week to you guys. I don't know what was going on with me. We deserve it. Maybe you guys pissed me off, but yeah, I'm sorry about that. All right, Kylie, what's going on on the World Wide Web? I've got two quick reviews for you. Five stars titled Heroes for Mad Times, and Tiger Prof writes, I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon this podcast. Jennifer and Angie bring facts in a time of propaganda, courage in a time of cowardice, and truth in a time of mendacity. They're a bright shaft of hopeful light in the darkness of the MAGA Nightmare.

00:21:34

Long live the Queens. That is so nice. That is so nice. I don't know if I've ever been called a hero before, so I'm going to take it.

00:21:41

I don't know if I've ever been described as having courage.

00:21:45

Heroes with senior citizen discounts, we'll take it. Courageous heroes.

00:21:52

I need it.

00:21:53

Okay, this one is five stars titled The Grownups Have Entered the Chat, and they write, Time to take away grandpa's keys and put the kids to bed. The adults need to talk, and these ladies are leading the conversation. Thank you so much for bringing it day in and day out. It's so refreshing to be having the right discussions, finally. Nice.

00:22:14

I'm going to get a big head.

00:22:15

Okay, I've got some news stories for you today. This one is from The Guardian, and it says, 5: 30 is goated. Why are young Americans eating so early? The five o'clock dinner time could be one of 2025's most surprising comebacks as younger generations seem willing to finish meals before the sun goes down. According to data collected by the reservation app, OpenTable, 53% of Gen Z and 51% of millennials in the US are interested in snagging an early seat. I mean, this is just finally everybody's catching up with the I've had it lifestyle.

00:22:56

Yeah, it's just so much better to eat early. It's just so much better. I'm so glad. 53%, that's a big percentage.

00:23:07

Yeah. I've always eaten early. Unless I'm on vacation, then I'm a win-in-roam type person. But just generally, my mother was very educational about how to keep your weight the way you want it. And one of the things she taught me at a really young age is eat early, eat your or early, and then don't snack after that. Walk it off, and don't go to bed with a stomach that's full. And I never do that. I cannot eat, and then just sit. I always have to eat and move. And so I love that the younger generation is doing that.

00:23:49

Yeah. And I'm not scared to eat at 4: 30, as you know.

00:23:53

A Christmas miracle has taken place. So we decided to go do a live show in Atlanta on January January 31st, and we were for sure like, the ticket sales are going to be lackluster. Nobody's going to become, I'll be damned if it didn't sell out in a couple of days. So the organizer was like, you should do another date. And I'm like, it's a pretty big ask. Pretty big ask for two old broads like us. So we added an additional day. Ticket sales were getting about close to halfway, February first, center stage in Atlanta. And it is also a matinée because we are We're going to normalize matinées. We are going to normalize a reasonable start time. We're not going to start a show at 8: 00 or 9: 00 PM. No. It's past bedtime. You're going to wake up the next day feeling hungover, strung out. Why did I hang out with all of these radical leftists, antifascists? We're not going to do that because we're pro-matinée, we're pro-democracy, we're anti-Maga, and we're antifascists.

00:24:54

Come see us. It's going to be so fun. I love getting together at a live show with all the people. It's such a community.

00:27:37

He is the founder of The Young Turks, the host of The Young Turks, YouTube's first partner channel, celebrating 20 years on the platform. Let's welcome to I've Had It, Jank Ugar.

00:27:52

I've been loving your work lately. Loving it.

00:27:55

I have always been such an admirer of yours and Anna. I think I've been so obsessed with you guys for years. I see your clips and you just have such conviction, and you have this fucky brand of your conviction, and that just speaks to me. It speaks to my soul. You're not trying to package it up. But welcome to I've Had It. What have you had it with, Jake?

00:28:21

Well, I've had it with a lot of things, but my number one thing is corruption, money in politics. And I loathe I know that it's the cancer in our country, and if we don't fix it, we're not going to fix any of our other problems.

00:28:38

What specifically are you talking about? Like money in election? I mean, obviously what Donald Trump does every day, but like, specifically.

00:28:47

Yeah. So all of our politicians, almost all of them, get corporate PAC money and foreign government money, and they serve them 100 %. So honestly, all of politics is It's a theater. We're at a play, and establishment media is the director of that play. So it's all fraudulent. They have conversations about, Oh, they had a debate about this or that, and then Republicans won that debate or Democrats won that debate. There's no debate, none whatsoever. There's donor money being exchanged, it's legalized bribes, and then they do exactly as their donors order them to do. So honestly, it's super embarrassing to work at the New York Times or CNN as you continue this fraudulent coverage of, Oh, what did they think? What is their ideology? What are their principles? Look, I'll give you one example, but I can give you literally thousands, right? But we can't negotiate drug prices. What is that? That's the exact opposite of a free market. Whenever there's talk of socialism or whatever, everybody gets triggered and everybody goes crazy. But there it is, the biggest case of socialism/corporate communism, which is a hilarious term, but really what it is, is corporatism, where corporations capture the government.

00:30:06

Corporatism hates capitalism. It's against free markets. It wants to capture the government so it can capture the market and kill off competition It hates free markets. It has done that beautifully. That's why we live under corporate rule. The drug companies are the biggest donors in the country. They just totally bought our entire Congress. They said, Our five-year patents are now twelve-year patents for a lot of these drugs. So now we have a monopoly for seven extra years where we'll rob you blind. Of course, not you as the politicians. We're bribing you, so you help us rob the taxpayers. And then on top of that, the government Medicare, et cetera, cannot negotiate drug prices. Whatever we tell you, you must pay. That's an insane system that is corruption on steroids, and that really happens with almost every industry. Our government doesn't represent us at all, not 1%. It completely represents the donor class. It's a giant robbery, and I can't stand it.

00:31:08

Let me ask you this. What do you think when you see Chuck, who I refer to as Chuckles Schumer and Hakeem Jeffrey's. To me, it feels like they're controlled opposition, that they are completely controlled by the corporations and the corruption that you just spoke about. You do not... This would be such a layup right now to at least make the argument every single day against this administration and to get a groundswell of support of people that would then harass their Republican elected officials. But that just doesn't happen. It is limp dick energy all day, every day by the Democrats. And personally, I was a good MSNBC Democrat for a very long time. And I, raw, raw, let's go along with. And it wasn't until we started really getting our ass kicked by Trump that my eyes really opened up to the corporations and how beholden all of these politicians are. And when I see Chuckles and Hakeem, I literally want to pull my hair up by the root. It is such a disproportionate response in the reverse. Worse, like such a small, lackluster response to what all is happening. And now I fear that they've just let him run away with it, and we're completely moving away from any form of life that we've known in this country.

00:32:45

I mean, look, this is why I love your show, because you're saying it as it is, and you're 100% right. You got it, in my opinion. Look, we've been saying this for 20 years on the Young Turks. The Democrats are paid to lose. So this is the Harlem Globetrotters versus the Washington Generals. And so the same guy is paying both of them. And if you were setting up a system where you wanted to capture our government, you wouldn't just pay one side, you'd pay both sides. And you'd pay one side to be super strong and push through extreme policies that help you, and you'd pay the other side to pretend to fight them and then go, There was nothing we could do. There was nothing we could do. That's like the favorite democratic leadership song. They all sing it in unison in the caucus. We pointed out for 20 straight years on the Young Turcs, and we're a little bit known for our predictions. The reason I do predictions is because it's so obvious. It doesn't take a rocket scientist that Look at where the money is. Money will win 100% of the time. You will see Democrats huff and puff and then surrender, huff and puff and surrender, huff and puff and surrender.

00:33:57

That's their pattern because they're literally paid to do Is it a conspiracy? No, it doesn't have to be. This is what's so interesting about this. I went to Wharton Business School. I'm a capitalist, and I believe in the wisdom of the crowd. I believe in supply and demand and all these things. You could see the invisible hand of the market moving things. How does it do that? Back in the day when Howard Dean was a strong progressive, he's not anymore, but when he was, all the money would get drained from his campaign. The minute he started criticizing the establishment and wars and all the things that made the donor's money. Same thing happened to Bernie Sanders. The money drains out, and the next thing that happens is money pours in to a super weak candidate. John Kerry is a great example. John Kerry is super lame, and he votes for the Iraq war, and he backs up what Bush is saying. So did Joe Biden, so did Hillary Clinton, and they drove us into that Iraq war. And so where did the money go? Did it go to a brave fighter like Bernie Sanders or Barbara Lee, et cetera, that stood up against the wars?

00:35:05

No. All the money went to Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, and Joe Biden, the weakest Democrats who helped the Republicans get their goals. And oh, golly, gee, look, there's billions of dollars that goes into their coffers. It's not an accident. It's because the person who wants tax cuts, he doesn't need a memo. He doesn't need a conspiracy. He's just naturally going to go, Well, that That guy talking about a wealth tax. That guy talking about raising taxes. No way. What a radical, right? Well, that person is saying we should keep taxes as they are and we should keep making money from oil and drug companies. Well, I have a drug company. So I like that one. I like Kerry. I like Biden. I like Hillary. I think the reason that your guys show is so important is because we're considered in the Bernie camp and have been for a long time. And so people pigeonhole and they go, Okay, although these days we fight sometimes with the far left and things have gotten super confusing. But what you guys are doing is you're talking to those former Hillary and Biden voters and beginning to wake everybody up.

00:36:12

Guys, these folks are not on our team. They've never been on our team. Our team is the American people and Democratic voters. Democratic voters are often in direct opposition, at least our policies and our priorities, to democratic leadership. Again, I can give you 100 examples. One last one super quick. Minimum wage. We were told that that was the easiest layup there was. I remember talking, I co-founded Justice Democrats, and so I knew a lot of the Justice Democrats back in the day, and I remember talking to a couple of those Congress people, right? And I'm like, Watch out, you're going to get an ambush in the Senate. The Democrats don't want to pass minimum wage. And they're like, What do you mean? No, Nancy Pelosi told us, No, it's guaranteed. No, of course. Cenk, this is the bare minimum. Of course, you're going to pass it. You're not going to pass it. Corporate interests don't want it. Schumer will kill it. Biden will kill it. And that's exactly what happened. But unfortunately, they never learned the lesson. These guys are not honest actors. I don't mean the just Democrats. I mean the establishment Democrats and Republicans.

00:37:19

And for whatever I say about Democrats is at least the same for Republicans, but usually way more. So there's no hope on the Republican side at all at this point. Whereas I think there is hope with some right wingers and independents, which is a different conversation. But bottom line is they couldn't even pass an increased minimum wage as $7. 25 because they don't work for us. They just keep lying to us, pretending they want to do these things and go, Oh, golly, gee, I just couldn't figure out how to pass paid family leave. That's polling at 84 %. Literally every country on Earth has it other than us. So they're giant liars. Let's expose them trying to get better democratic leaders.

00:38:02

I agree. And you just spoke about an awakening. And I think that there is a mass awakening across all demographics, all different generations, not only to corporations, but also to Israel. People are waking up to that and how we have been propagandized to believe one thing. And then when we get on our devices or watch the news, you're seeing something completely inhumanized remain in that genocide. But I will say one thing, Pumps and I are from Oklahoma City, and I agree with you 100% on everything about corporate Democrats, and I've been very, very critical of all of them. But I would be remiss if I didn't say that there are a lot of people, really good people, that live in red states, and they're queer or they are somehow marginalized. And a Kamala Harris presidency or Joe Biden presidency. Where I'm at right now, I 100% agree with you on all of that, but it is a lifeline for them. You spoke about John Dean. He used to have a 50-state strategy, and the Democrats have completely abandoned that. And not that the Democrats could win in Oklahoma, but when you pull out, you let the radicals get so fucking radical that the marginalized people in those states start getting institutions bullied institutionally by their government, and it piles on and it piles on, and you have this rabid right wing electorate in these states.

00:39:40

And so I can... Where I am right now, I will always vote against the corporate dem. When they're on my podcast, I call them out as vicious as I can because this is our time, this is our moment, our generations, this is our fight right now. But I do understand how people can have an affection for a Kamala Harris or a Joe Biden because it means a lifeline for them if you live in a red state.

00:40:11

Yeah. Look, do I get it? Of course, I voted for Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris. And why did I vote for them? So yes, cultural wars are used to divide us. Identity politics is used as a weapon and a shield. I don't love that stuff. But at the end of the day, I was born Muslim. I'm an atheist now, but my family is Muslim. And so Republicans say, oh, well, Trump in 2016 said we should ban all Muslims from the country, and now he's attacking Somalias, et cetera. But you should just eat it. You should just say, Okay, as a Muslim, you're inferior, and every once in a while, we should talk about banning you. Yeah, no, I'm not going to eat it. I'm not going to accept it. And what a ludicrous thing to say to someone, We hate you, but you should vote for us anyway. No, sorry. No deal. And do they hate trans people? Come on. Of course they do. Of course. So they'll say, We should take away all their rights and make sure they can't go in any bathroom or the military or any of this, et cetera.

00:41:14

But homophobic or transphobic. That's outrageous. No, it's not outrageous. You say it all the time. I'm not trying to label people. I'm not trying to get an identity policy. I'm just talking about reality. I'm just telling you what you're telling me. So that's part of why I'm a Democrat. Do I understand that concept? Of course. It affects me in a lot of ways, almost more than anyone else, right? Now, having said that, guys, the most important thing is primary. Stories, because I didn't want to vote for Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. In my opinion, they were going to do nothing, okay? Yes, they were not going to be as vicious as Trump and the Republicans. Yes, they were not going to discriminate against people, so they weren't to do as much damage, but were they going to do anything positive? Almost nothing, nothing, nothing, because they're paid to do nothing. But once you're in a general election, you're stuck. You're stuck. What are you going to do? Vote for Trump, right? For God's sake, Make sure that you're super animated about primaries. That's where you have a choice. You will see propaganda from the establishment media minimizing the primaries.

00:42:27

Oh, primaries. We're going to waste our good precious donor money on primaries. Oh, you're just attacking other Democrats. No, brother, they're not on my side. If you can't pass paid family leave at 84%, at a bare minimum, you are the most incompetent politician on Earth, and you should never get my vote, ever. That's what primaries are for. Go vote on. My honest opinion is almost all the incumbents because they almost all take corporate PAC money, just as Democrats don't. I've got my issues with the squad these days. I think They're probably to the left of me on identity politics and stuff like that. But nevertheless, they're honest. As long as you're not taking that donor money and you're not hooked on corporations or foreign governments, then I'm super happy to give you a shout, like Mamdani. Mamdani is to the left of me. He's way more socialist, obviously, but I want him to try. I love that he's trying for the voters. Yeah, give me free public busses. Let's see what happens. Give me some city run grocery stores. It wouldn't have been my first idea, but let's see what happens. At least the brother is trying, which then finally gets you back to Israel.

00:43:39

So why? Guys, the reason Kamala Harris lost the election, walked the plank for Israel. 92% of her voters wanted her to speak out against what they were doing. 92%. And she said, No, I don't care about my stupid voters. My donors say Israel. I say Well, all right. Well, now what you're saying is you'd rather lose than defy the donors. So for God's sake, let's get into the primaries and find people who are not corporate robots, who are not zombies for Israel. And honestly, they literally fund 94% of Congress. Guys, 82% of Congress votes with them every single time. And that 82%, on average, gets 125 $95,000 in campaign donations. And honestly, I think almost everyone in mainstream media is either an idiot or totally corrupt. Because APAC will spend $100 million in the last cycle, and they'll be like, No, that's not relevant. Our politicians are so honorable, they would not be moved by $100 million. Well, you don't live on this planet. I mean, you're either obviously recently lying to us or you're really one of the lowest IQ people in the country. Why are you on ABC, CNN, and New York Times?

00:45:04

I think those reporters should be super embarrassed. Every article about politics is nonsense. Almost the only thing they should be talking about is who got paid by who? Because that will show you nearly 100% why they're voting the way that they are. And instead, we got gaslighters, right? And so media will come in and go, If you point out correct facts about APAC, you hate Jews.

00:45:28

Yeah, right. It's such bullshit.

00:45:31

What is this?

00:45:32

That pisses me off. Maga is an incubator for anti-Semitism, the real Jew hate. It is just unbelievable. And they ignore all of that, and they're laser-focused on Zoran Mamdani because he's Muslim, and that goes against their script. And I'll tell you, Jank, you said that you were an atheist, and I'm an atheist as well, but I was actually raised in a secular home, raised by atheist parents in the Bible Belt. So I would say in my 20s, I was on YouTube a lot, like watching Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, et cetera. I fell prey to post-911 ambient Islamophobia because it was like... And I did. I mean, I had for sure Islamophobic thoughts. And from that I watched a lot of Bill Maher, and I just picked that up because for me, I had all these crazy Christians around me, Christian Taliban in Oklahoma City. But then you see somebody like, he has five lives. Well, that's fucked up. They do Jihad. Well, that's fucked up. She's wearing a burqa? Well, that's fucked up. So it was easy for me to fall into that being an uber critic of all religions. I'm an equal opportunity critic of all religions.

00:46:58

So for somebody who like me who came from a liberal household, atheist, fell prey to Islamophobia. When I see somebody like Zora at the gay pride parade, not with a pride flag, but with a trans flag, he's like, I want the most marginalized fucking flag I can have. That puts a sword right through my Islamophobia. That makes me critically think, and I reconciled this way before Zora ran. But it makes me think, well, wait a in it. Every religion has its crazies, and there's a billion Muslims. And just like I live around these Christian Taliban fuckers that are taking away all the women's rights, Islam and Muslims have their same issues. But you can also be very progressive. It really pisses me off how laser-focused they are on him. When he, in my opinion, criticism of Israel is super important, especially since they market themselves as we're the greatest democracy in the Middle East. Well, democracy, by definition, should be open for business 24/7, 365 to criticism, just like science. Criticize, inquire, inquire. So that shit just pisses me off. And I think there's been a great awakening from Americans that are white, heteronormative, what Mag would call real Americans, like Pumps and Me, where we see all of these things converging that you're talking about, corporate packs, Israel getting lied to, Democrats are pussies.

00:48:34

They don't fight for us. And there's this huge awakening. And the Democratic base is clueless, absolutely clueless as to how much... The Democratic establishment is clueless as to how much the base has moved, in my opinion.

00:48:48

Yeah, 100 %. Look, first of all, when we criticize Big Pharma, which Big Pharma donates on average, not in the last cycle, APAC was number one in the last cycle, but on an average normal cycle, Big Pharma is much bigger donors than APAC is. Nobody comes and says, You guys are racist against drug companies. You're an anti-druggist, anti-pharmacist, or whatever. When we complain about oil companies getting an outrageous $35 billion in subsidies every year, that's just a robbery. They're just robbing us. No one says you're anti-oilist. When you say, Hey, but wait a minute, APAC is doing the same exact game as big pharma is, big oil is, the defense contractors are, we're not singling them out. We're just saying they're part of that same corrupt system. They go, You hate Jews. Wait a minute. No, no, no, no, no, For a lot of us educated Democrats, it feels like the New York Times is our Bible, and it feels sacrilegious to tell you that the New York Times and CNN are giant liars, but they are. Part of it is because the people that work there don't know that they're lying. They were preselected to have the same exact mindset.

00:50:22

Donors don't matter. Anyone who criticizes Israel is an anti-Semite, and their lives should be ruined, ruined. So like Eliott Abrams, a neocon extraordinaire, today, going around going, Now look at all of this Jew hate on the left and the right, opposing Israel. Israel wants a memorandum of understanding, which is going to be 20 years. We're going to lock in a guarantee for a foreign country for 20 freaking years for about $100 billion. Remember, Israel has already taken $300 billion from us. So when we say, Wait, why are we giving the oil subsidies? Nobody complains. I mean, again, mainstream media totally covers it up. If you watch mainstream media, I bet no one has any idea that we give oil subsidies like that. But when you turn to Israel, it's a different level. They go, No, if you object to paying $100 billion to a foreign government, then you hate Jews. That is ludicrous, an insane lie that they do on purpose to smear people who oppose Israel. It's disgusting. If Portugal came to us or Mongolia or Bhutan, and they were like, You owe us $100 billion. Otherwise, you're anti-Portugese.

00:51:34

We'd be like, Have you lost your money? You should fuck you.

00:51:37

And yes, and fuck you. Then so when you ask, everything is a total bullshit talking point. Here, they're a special ally. Wait, Canada is a special ally. Why didn't we give them $300 billion? You owe us. Why do I owe you? What a weird thing to say, Why do I owe you? Well, because of the Holocaust. Wait, what? But wait, we rescued people from the Holocaust. We didn't do the Holocaust. Are we some weirdly guilty about that? I don't feel guilty about that. Imagine the Bosnians. We saved them from a genocide, and I'm super proud of that. That's one of the things that makes me proud to be a Democrat, that Bill Clinton did that. Okay, so we saved the Bosnians. Imagine they turn around and go, Now you owe us. You owe Bosnia $300 billion, and after that, you have to give me a guarantee for another $100 billion for another 20 years. We'd be like, Whoa, slow your roll. We just saved you from a genocide. Why do we owe you? And that would be the most normal question on Earth. But when you do it about Israel, people in mainstream media voraciously attack you while pretending to be objective.

00:52:48

They're the least objective people. And to your point, look, growing up Muslim, I didn't quite realize it just in the same way that you didn't realize it, right? Growing up in Oklahoma. It turns out mainstream media has been smearing Muslims my whole life. Why were they doing that? Because are there extremists in every religion? Of course. Are there other religions that have four wives? Yes. But we never talk about that. Are there religious fanatics that do violence in other religions? Are you kidding me? Look at the settlers on the West Bank. They're vicious, racist, and bigots. They do massive violence, and they steal people's land. Because why? Because they said, Oh, Yahweh or God or whatever the hell told me 3,000 years ago to murder my neighbors and take their land. But we never talk about the settlers. It's anti-Semitic to say that. But, brother, you've been saying it about Muslims in a way that's a 100% lie my whole life. So you're allowed to say it about Muslims, but you're not allowed to say it about anybody else. So no, I have no respect for New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, all those people at all, because those are the same anchors, reporters, producers that have been smearing my people my whole life and going, It's no big deal.

00:54:04

They're just Muslims. 70,000 dead, 20,000 dead kids. No big deal. No big deal. Shut up, you Muslim. So no, I'm not going to shut up. Jake Tapper and the rest of them are a cancer on this society. They're giant gaslighters who lie on behalf of Israel day in, day out, and we're all sick of it. The good news is left wing is sick of it, right wing is sick of it, the middle wing is sick of it. The only problem is they control almost every lever of power. They have 94% of Congress and apparently 94% of mainstream media. I mean, none of the cable news anchors have called it a genocide. When everyone, all of the genocide scholars, all the human rights workers, everyone has called it a genocide. Why? Because everyone knows if you criticize Israel too much, you're going to get fired, then you're going to get smeared in the press as someone who's a racist, anti-Semite, etc. And your life is going to be ruined by these thugs that are inside this country. Sorry, but that's just reality. So I can't take it anymore.

00:55:08

Let me ask you a question. We see Marjorie Taylor-Green breaking from Trump, all that. She's talking about how this Congress, Donald Trump, he's not America first, he's Israel first. And then she's posting her picture like APAC money, zero APAC dollars. I have people in my life, young people, that are super anti-Israel, Israeli government. They're not anti-Semitic. They're for Israeli people, but not the government. And they hate APAC. So do you think moving forward, putting your APAC donations from the people that you're for and against, that that is going to move voters? And her gripe is the Democratic establishment is completely ignoring voices about APAC donations. And so moving forward, the Israel first thing, is that going to break up the MAGA Party? And then secondly, are the APAC donations going to be coming to the fore as we move towards these elections?

00:56:14

Yeah, it's only going to get to be a bigger and bigger issue. It'll probably be huge in '26, but it'll be gigantic in '28. Here's why, guys. You're 100% right again. What's What's happening is the Marjorie Taylor-Greens and the Tom Massies of the world are telling the right wing, Guys, we said America first, and we said anti-war, but yet we're forced to one war after another, after another for Israel. We're told that we owe them and that 300 billion wasn't enough, 21 billion in the middle of a genocide wasn't enough, and now we owe them another 100 billion, et cetera. Well, the Republican voters are primed to hate that to begin with. The only reason why they ever went along with it is because they also grew up the same way we did, watching ABC, NBC, CBS, telling us that Israel is the most important thing in the world. And if you oppose Israel, you're a devil who hates Jews, et cetera. By the way, guys, I have Jewish family. Half my friends are Jewish. My cofounders on the Young Turks are Jewish. This is insanity. Stop smearing all Jews. They're like, If you're not pro-genocide, you're against Jews.

00:57:25

No, no, no. None of my Jewish friends are for a genocide. None of them Okay? None of them are for Netanyahu. None of them are for what the Israeli government is doing. But the Israel first guys agitate and they go, No, I don't care how good you are to Jews. You have to hate the Jews if you don't like what the Israeli government is doing. No, I don't have to hate Jewish people. I don't, and I never will. I'm a progressive. I'm never, ever going to distinguish between religions, nationalities, ethnicities. We're all human beings. I'm an atheist. I'm 100% secular, and I don't believe in the rationale of separating out religions, et cetera. But you cannot tell me that I cannot criticize a foreign government. That's insane. If I said to everyone, Erdoğan is taking away democracy in Turkey, but that's it, you're not allowed to say it. If you say it, I'm going to say you're racist against Turks, and I'm going to ruin your life. You'd be like lunatic, right? But they do it, and they all do it, and that's the gaslighting, and that's what's unbearable. Now, the good news is gaslighting is broken on the right wing side, so they're now having a huge clash.

00:58:32

So for the moment being, the Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, Laura Lumer crowd has begun to quiet down to America First people a tiny bit, partly because the Iran bombing didn't get out of control. Right now, they love what's happening in Venezuela, and they're going around bragging and thumping their chest going, You see that? Israel's right. We should invade every country that we don't like. And they were helping Iran and Hezbollah. Yeah, we got rid of them, and we're macho, and bald eagle, and American flag. And they got Trump on their side. So Levin goes out and then bear hugs him, calls him the first Jewish President. Miriam says, Here, I'll bribe you to run for a third term. I'll give you $250.

00:59:15

Oh, my God.

00:59:16

So for now, it's like America First, my estimate, is winning. They got about 60 % of the Republican Party. Certainly online, they're like 80 %, 90 %, right? But But right now, there's no conclusion. But my guess is what's going to happen is at some point, the dam is going to break. And if it hasn't broken already, it's incredibly close to breaking. And then eventually, almost in hire almost all the Republican voters will be America first and not Israel first. Then they'll call them all anti-Semite like they're doing to Tucker and Megan Kelly and everyone who criticizes Israel, 1% anti-Semite, Jew-hater, etc. But they've beaten that one-trick pony to death, and they keep beating that dead horse or pony, and they're like, Oh, call everyone a Jew hitter. Call everyone racist. We hate it. We loathe it. On the Democratic side, it's tougher because unfortunately, our voters listen to mainstream media more. So they go on CNN and MSNBC, and they're like, no, Kamala Harris defying 92% of her voters is great, wonderful, brave. Way to oppose your own voters. No, not brave, stupid and wrong. I know it'll break by '28. And then if you are voting for...

01:00:40

If you're taking APAC money by 28 or any Israeli lobby money, you're in a world of trouble. But we're starting now. We have a pledge, tyt. Com/no more, saying, no more. If you take Israeli lobby money, we're not going to give you a vote because what you're saying is, I represent represent a different government, not this government. I'm going to betray you, and I'm going to represent the Israeli's interest instead of yours. Well, then obviously, you shouldn't get my vote. The beauty of this, guys, this is so important. Primaries, because that means you don't have to vote for a Republican, okay? And the Republicans don't have to vote for a Democrat. Go inside your own primary, and if someone is taking APAC money or Israeli lobby money, vote for the other person. If someone's not taking corporate PAC money, that's It's your number one sign that they're going to represent you and not others. If you don't know this, one of the reasons Marjorie Taylor-Greene started actually saying, Wait, maybe we should have lower health insurance prices and lower drug prices, let alone Epstein files Israel, et cetera, is because she stopped taking corporate PAC money and foreign government money.

01:01:49

Because once you get yourself off of that drug, you go, Oh, wait, what did the voters want? Oh, the voters want us to represent them. Duh. I called up Marjorie Taylor-Greene and asked her to join Roe-Khanna's bill on lowering drug prices. She went and analyzed it, came back to me a week later and said, Yeah, I'm in. I'm co-sponsored. We've got to get them off the crack. The crack is corporate and foreign government money. So why would you vote for someone on crack? I have to jump in. They've been driven by the drug, not by you.

01:02:25

Marjorie Taylor-Greene is still on some crack, and she's still on some Iron crazy Christian crack. Where we live, and all through the Bible Belt South, you have a combination of people that are high on capitalism and high on Jesus. It is a cancer, and it is spread through these mega churches. I appreciate that Marjorie Taylor Greene sees some light about Israel and that she cares to protect Palestinian children, but she doesn't care to protect young LGBTQ plus American children. She still has very offensive postings outside of her office. There are only two genders. Let me tell you something, as a woman from Oklahoma City, I have a couple of friends that have trans children. This is painful. Nobody in their right fucking mind wakes up in rural Oklahoma and says, You know what? I want to fuck with everybody today. I'm going to say I'm a different gender. I'm going to get everybody to call me demonic. I'm going to fuck with the... I'm going to go play some D1 sport and all this bullshit. It is a very painful process, surrounded by the most judgmental, righteous, obnoxious, hateful Christians, white evangelicals, or what I'm talking about, and it is horrific.

01:03:47

So I appreciate part of Marjorie Taylor Greene's journey, but I don't buy all of it because I think you have to link human rights. They're all linked. Universal human rights. It's why I I stand up against, and I'm embarrassed about my past ambient Islamophobia. It shames me, but I've evolved as a person, both morally and politically. I have to value against fighting against Islamophobia, fighting against anti-Semitism, fighting against transphobia, fighting against homophobia. If somebody says, Oh, you Democrats are too into these culture wars, I would be like, You know what? Fuck you. This is a free country. If you can You throw a trans person under the bus and you feel good about it, fuck you. Go live somewhere else because it's not your business if somebody is trans or not. When we were growing up, we're all around the same age. How much did we say all the time, Well, it's a free country. Well, Nobody says that shit anymore because everybody's all up in everybody's business. If we have an economic message of populism or in your case, capitalism, really free markets, not be holding by corporate control Muslim packs and stuff, it has to be for everybody, even somebody that might be trans or even somebody that might be an atheist Muslim like you.

01:05:07

We have to include it to everybody. Marjorie Taylor-Green, my radar on her is she's still a little bit of an opportunistic twad. I have not seen a full redemption to her yet, but I'm open to her crossing over the finish line.

01:05:23

Yeah. Let me tell you one by one. First on trans folks, this idea that they to want to do it because it's fun or something, it's absurd. Imagine I live in the middle of Oklahoma, and I just said, I'm going to dress like a woman, and we think that's going to go well for me. I'm doing that because it's some secret advantage. No advantage is going to overcome the disadvantage that you're going to face in Oklahoma, Kentucky, or in most places, unfortunately, of being trans. That is not a thing that you do lightly. You have to believe in your inner being so much to do it because it's such a hurdle to overcome. To me, that is the essence of freedom. I love that we live in a country where anybody could be what they want to be, what they believe they are. If you take that away from them, you're taking away freedom. I won't stand for it. And that's why I'm actually corny about being patriotic. So as I see the hundreds of problems that America has, and I battle them for a living, I still love the core idea of this country, that we're all equal, that we're all free, and that we strive towards justice.

01:06:42

And once you start saying, We're all free, except, then we're not free. So except trans people, except Muslim people. By the way, let me come back to that for one second. I don't think I finished the thought there. What I realized at the end, just like you did, Jennifer, is that, wait a minute, this isn't just random hatred towards Muslims. It isn't like, oh, golly, gee, we picked this religion out of a hat, right? No, it was done so that we could hate Israel's enemies. And otherwise spending eight trillion on the global war on terror wouldn't have made sense to Americans. But if you hate Muslims enough, then you'll want to attack Iraq, which at the time the Israeli Prime Minister said was their number one enemy. Then you'll want to attack Iran, which Israel now says is their number one enemy, which, Obama, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, Somalia, et cetera, and go, Well, remember, it's the dirty Muslims, Muslims, Muslims, Muslims. You should hate them. Oh, golly, gee, look at that. We just wiped out a little bit of Israel's enemies for it. What a lucky break for Israel. I don't think it was a lucky break at all.

01:07:50

I say this to right wingers, too, because now I talk to everyone. I'm going to go talk to Tucker soon. I'm going to talk to Patrick Van David, Tim Poel, all these guys. I say to them, Do you mean it? When you say you're anti-war, do you mean it? Because it's about to get tested, and it's being tested right now. When you say freedom, do you really mean it? Do you mean it for everyone? When you say equality, do you even believe in that American concept? Forcing them into these questions is really, really important. Now to Marjorie Taylor-Green. What's super important, guys, is that we have to stop thinking in a binary way. Does Marjorie Taylor-Green still have tons of opinions that I find to be not just wrong, but outrageous? Yes. For example, just today, she's celebrating the January sixth rioters. I do not celebrate the January sixth rioters.

01:08:45

Bananas.

01:08:46

Right. So now, but unfortunately, and I think that this might have also been a trick, to be honest, okay? They want us thinking the other side is the enemy, and we cannot work with them on anything. And what I'm saying is, But wait, what if they agree with us on some issues? Should we still say, No, I don't want your vote. I don't want your support? That doesn't make any sense. So for example, I went on Patrick Bet David's show and I made a pitch for paid family leave. Then they pulled their very right wing audience and 75% of them said, yes, paid family leave for moms. Give them 12 weeks off at a minimum. What are we doing? You're supposed to go back to the assembly line the day after you deliver, that's insanity. They've never heard that literally every developed nation has it. But forget developed nations. I think every nation on Earth, over 200, except for three of us, including America. Oh, my Oh, my God. We have paid family leave. We're the only ones who don't have it. When they hear that and it's against American moms, they go, All right, I'm on your side.

01:09:53

Let's go get this thing passed. Take yes for an answer. You could fight them on the January sixth stuff. You could You could fight them on the trans stuff, the Muslim stuff. You could fight them on all of that. But take a yes vote, right? So when they joined Roe-Khanna, Massey and Marjorie Taylor-Green did in demanding the release of the Epstein files, that was a huge win. A huge win. They're joining them and saying, Yeah, we don't want to fund Israel anymore, and we want our government to represent us. That's okay. And by the way, to the point we're making, the right wing is also allowed to have any opinion they I want. And so as much as it frustrates us, their opinions on different minorities and different issues, et cetera, they're allowed to have those opinions. And then we debate in an honest democracy, and we get to the right answer. The good news is two-thirds of Americans culturally agree with us, right? We just got to get to an honest representative government so we could have those debates instead of letting donors run everything.

01:10:57

I agree. I really agree with what you say that if you can find agreement with somebody like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who I still think is an insufferable twat for the record. But I will be willing to move the goalpost on that because we have to allow everyone to evolve politically. I know I certainly have. I have. She has evolved massively. I mean, she's deconstructed her faith. She used to be a Republican. And I also think in order to defeat this horrific administration, these fucking dorks, these dweeps, cosplaying, running the government. It's going to take strange bedfellows to do so. We have to embrace our agreements and then, like you said, fight later. I thank you for saying that. I needed to hear that today. I agree. I think that was a really good reminder, Jank, and I think that's really good messaging. I also think it's super important that you go into the Death Star and talk. Because I was living in Oklahoma City, which is a Purple city. It's interesting to me. Everybody identifies as Republican. But if you poll the citizens on issue by issue, they are more progressive. But the Republican Party has done such a good job branding Republicans of what you have to vote for, and Democrats are the, quote, demon rats from Satan.

01:12:12

But issue by issue, everybody's pretty progressive.

01:12:16

As I've told everybody, I have lost weight with the help of GLP-1s. And everybody talks about GLP-1s in terms of weight loss, but they actually improve your overall health and help you feel better. One thing you hear over and over again about GLP-1s is how much they cost and does my insurance cover it? And that is where Roe comes in. Roe's insurance checker lets you know if you're covered for GLP-1s for free. There's no paperwork, no hassle, no waiting. And even if you don't have insurance coverage, Roe offers cash pay options for more affordable FDA-approved GLP-1s. Go to ro. Co/hadit for your free insurance check. That's ro. Co/hadit to see if your insurance covers GLP-1s for free. Go to row. Co/hadit. Go to row. Co/safety, row. Co/safety for boxed warning and full safety information about GLP-1 medications.

01:13:29

Com. Please support our show and tell them that we sent you. I want to play a game with you. It's called Had It or Hit It. Oh my God. Welcome to Had It or Hit I would hit it. Had It. Had It. I hit it every day, sometimes twice a day. Jake, Had It or Hit It: Trump's Venezuelan Regime Change.

01:15:14

Had it, as in like, no, right? I'm getting this right. Can I say, Hell, no? Yes. Terrible idea. Had it. Okay.

01:15:23

Had it or hit it, Hassan Piker.

01:15:26

I mean, he's my nephew, so I got to say hit it, I guess.

01:15:32

I love Hassan Piker. I have the biggest crush on him.

01:15:35

He was our first famous fan. You're not alone.

01:15:38

He's your what?

01:15:40

He was our first famous fan. He found us, and then he had us on his stream. And my son, I didn't know who Sahn was. My son calls me and he's at Syracuse University. He's like, Mom, Asan Piker has you on his stream. I'm like, What does that mean? Who is that? What is the Twitch? What's going on? And then he it to me, and then we ended up collaborating with him. I think, in my opinion, as a mother of two sons, and you see the propaganda and the sexism and all of the horrible stuff online, I'm appreciative and grateful that there are the Hassan Pikers because this generation spends so much time chronically online that are promoting critical thinking. My son doesn't agree with him on everything at all, but it's somebody who was the ambient background of his high school and college year. So I appreciate that in Hassan.

01:16:32

Yeah. So real quick. So Haas started at the Young turks. And so our philosophy is open minds, open hearts, right? And so if you're open-hearted, you're going to be on our side, but we really need you to be open-minded. And so I believe in hiring hosts who have a range of opinions, and I don't mind them disagreeing with me at all. And something you said there that I just wanted to pick up on, which is we don't all have to agree on everything. You don't have to agree with everything Asana says, you don't have to agree with everything I say, or you guys say. That's normal. It's abnormal to agree 100% with a preset ideology or any other human being because you came up in different circumstances, different contexts, et cetera. Assa is a diehard socialist. We used to have a debate show called Agit Prop, where he would take the social position, I would take the capitalist position. We're both on the left, and we'd go at it. We still do it. We do Thanksgiving at his house because since we're family, we eat our Thanksgiving dinner together, obviously. Before that, we'll have a huge debate.

01:17:44

But that's beautiful that we have a tent that's wide enough that we could include all that. And he's telling younger people to think critically and to open up their minds. And he's similar to Mamdani's policies, right? And it's beautiful that they're trying, they care, they've got new ideas. So let's discuss all of them and get to the best answer.

01:18:07

I love that. Okay. Had it or hit it, CBS News.

01:18:12

Had it. I mean, CBS is over. I mean, it's crazy to watch CBS.

01:18:19

Talk about Barry Weiss and David and Larry Ellison, and just talk about how crazy all of that is. We talk about it quite a bit on our other podcast, but I want to get take on that.

01:18:31

Yeah. Look, this is, again, you're sensing it's themes here, right? And one of the themes is establishment media drives me crazy because look at what they're hiding from you. Now, you could verify all this, you could look all this up. And once you know it, you go, Oh, okay. So the company buying up all of these things, Paramount, TikTok, et cetera, or Skydance, run by David Ellison, the son of Larry Ellison. The funding for it is coming mainly from Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle. So who is Larry Ellison? Larry Ellison, and I didn't own this until recently, I just knew him as the founder of Oracle. But it turns out he's a massively Israel-first radical. Okay, so now why do I say radical? Is that fair? He donated $16 million to the IDF in the middle of a genocide. That was an attaboy way to commit this mass slaughter. Let me give you $16 million in charity for a military, by the way, of a different country. So that's already ludicrous. Again, all you have to do is take out Israel, put in any other country, and people go, What the fuck? It's true.

01:19:42

If in the middle of Turkey invading Northern Syria and killing ethnic people or whatever it was, I'm like, way to go, Turkey. And I gave them their military $16 million. People were like, oh, obviously, he's an agent for that government. Obviously, he shouldn't be You say it about someone supporting Israel, they're like, I'm so sick of it. They're such thugs. Anyway, Ellison, then we find out through Dropsight News, the emails that were leaked that they've done stories on. He goes to Marco Rubio back in 2016 when he's running against Trump. These guys were never for Trump. They were always for only one thing, which is Israel. So he goes to Marco Rubio and he tells the Israeli ambassador before he meets with Rubio, I'm going to test him to see if he's if he'll do what Israel wants. He comes back from that meeting, writes the Israeli ambassador another email saying, I talk to him and he will serve Israel. And so I gave him $5 million into his Super PAC. So that is not registered in the over $1 million that you see on APAC tracker for Marco Rubio from APAC in the Israeli lobby, because that went into a Super PAC, not to him directly.

01:20:55

So do you see how they are funneling millions of millions of dollars for our politicians to serve a foreign government? Then whenever you criticize it, they say they're not at fault. Jake Tapper and Dana Basch will jump in and go, You're at fault for doing journalism. You should never do journalism. Journalism is anti-Semitic. So this Larry Ellison guy, who is a Zionist radical, takes over CBS and brings in Barry Weiss. Barry Weiss is mainly known for being Israel first, cancel culture. She came up by doing lists of professors who should be fired for accurately criticizing Israel. She doesn't do the news. She does the exact opposite of news. She buries the news. And so they go and buy a free press and they announced, and it's in the New York Post about, Oh, we're giving them a really good price because they're pro-Israel. They overpaid by nearly $100 million because she had a pro-Israel position. Then they take her and put her in charge of CBS. And then what does she do? Cbs Evening News news anchor. She finds Tony Docapil, the guy who yelled the Ta-Nehisi Coates for supporting Palestinian lives. I don't know if you guys remember that interview where he was like, Oh, your book.

01:22:11

I see that you think you're Palestinians or human. Oh, you sound like you hate Jews. Like, what? And she's like, Oh, that lunatic radical? Yeah, of course. Cbs Evening News, new host. So Israel runs CBS now. If you're going to see something on CBS News, it is likely to be a lie. It's a propaganda for a Foreign government, not for us. It's totally dead.

01:22:33

Something you said, Jank, when you said, if you removed the country of Israel and you inserted any other country in, I'm borrowing this from Mehdi Hassan, who we've had on the podcast, but he says online all the time. He'll post something where somebody says something about Muslims, and he'll post it. He'll say, Now remove the word Muslim and put in Jewish. It's incredible how propagandized we are to be Islamophobic and how excused it is. Then in the inverse of that, this protection and really psychotic treatment of Israel. I see why they are so laser-focused on Zoran, because he completely negates the argument that all Muslims are crazy. You're right. Maybe he's a socialist. Maybe he wants to give people free busses. But he's not a bigot. He just absolutely is not that. You can call him whatever the fuck you want to call him, but he is absolutely not a bigot. Anybody who links all universal human rights, in my opinion, that's the only way to link them. Okay, let's move along. Had it or hit it, Hillary Clinton.

01:23:48

Had it. A billion times over had it. I mean, look, again, guys, when you dig in, and that's why I'm so proud of Dropsight News, Guardian, Zateo, Young Turks, all these independent places, Breaking Points, doing a lot of real journalism. Journalism is breaking out online. In Hillary Clinton's case, what people might not know because, again, established media has been not uncovering the news, but covering up the news. Her largest donor throughout her career was Haim Saban. Haim Saban is another pro-Israel radical. The only reason he gives her money is to serve Israel. That's why Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton, they've been taking that money to the tune of tens of millions of dollars throughout their careers. I don't know if it's gotten into the hundreds of millions. Again, the news will say it's anti-Semitic to report that fact. Facts have a well-known anti-Semitic bias. So no, it's not. If she takes money from ExxonMobil or JPMorgan Chase, it would be negligent not to talk about it. We had a giant conversation during the 2016 primary about all the money she took from the banks. But once you get to Israel, it becomes magic. You're not allowed to talk about it.

01:25:06

So no, she's totally bought for almost all those donor classes. And it breaks my heart to see Democratic voters thinking that they're supporting the right person, and they get led along by the propaganda. Oh, yeah, yeah, Bernie, boo. He would actually represent all of your policy positions, but he's going to lose. And we did this. This is like on the young almost every day during the 2016 primary. We're like, Guys, look at this poll. Bernie would do five points better against Trump than Hillary would. Here's a new poll, seven points better, three points better, twelve points better. And then we show them a clip from CNN and MSNBC, and their anchors all say, Bernie is unelectable, has no chance of winning, no chance of winning, no chance of winning. Sometimes it'll be a CNN poll showing Bernie would have done better against Trump. They'll bury their own poll. They'll report it, and then in the next segment, they'll be like, Well, obviously, Bernie can't win. And I'm like, So that is all a way to sheep herd you towards Hillary because Hillary supports the banks, supports Israel, voted for the Iraq war, etc. They're purposely manipulating you to get you to vote for both the worst Democrat, the one that is least likely to do those policies, and two, the one most likely to lose.

01:26:25

Hillary never had a better chance than Bernie in 2016. Never, not once, not in any of those polls. And on election day, Bernie had a twelve-point lead against Trump when Hillary lost. Yeah, they would have run an election against him, but he would have also run an election against Trump. Why? Because it isn't that Bernie's magical. It's that the American people want populism. They don't want you to represent the donor class, and they could feel it in their bones. So guys, forget MAGA, forget our own voters for a second. We have to win over independence. They decide elections. If you're not trying to win over independence and you're just preaching to the choir, it's self-indulgent. I love you and everybody can do everything that they want. I'm just saying generically to the other host, audience, etc. It's a free country. But if you want to win and you care about that, you've got to win over the independents that are enormously populist. They don't want corrupt politicians. They want people representing the average American, and that is super fair.

01:27:32

The person you described that you were trying to reach in 2016 on the Young Turks that was watching CNN, watching MSNBC, and didn't think Bernie could win and voted for Hillary, and that is me. I even hosted a fundraiser for her and the special guest was Bill Clinton. I had a Hillary sign in my yard. I'm with her with H and the arrow. My older son was like, Mom, you're so conservative. I can't believe you're not supporting Bernie. I was like, I'm not conservative. I'm a liberal, Dylan. I am a liberal Democrat. I've never voted for a Republican. And he was 100% right. And you are 100% right. I share this with you because I want to share it with our audience because I do believe there is a great awakening, an awakening to the dealings of Israel that is harmful to us and actually harmful to Jews worldwide, a great awakening to corporations corrupt our government, getting our money subsidizing their shitty wages to their employees, and then they have to get on services and shitty health care and all of these things. I think there's a great awakening to all of this. I understand that my vote now for Hillary Clinton was me falling prey to corporate propaganda.

01:28:58

My heart was in the right I was a liberal, one of the few in Oklahoma City, and I was brave enough to put a sign for a Democrat in my yard, which were few and far between, but I didn't go far enough. I have now, and I think that in your conversation, Jank, that we need to be open. If we agree with somebody who's an insufferable twat like Marjorie Taylor Greene, if we agree with her on three or four things, embrace those agreements. When we're wrong or if somebody you know is wrong, but they've evolved, don't keep going, nanny, nanny, Boo Boo, five years ago, you said this. Those two things are linked in getting us through this because we have to get over, I agree with you, we have to get over MAGA stuff, which occupies a lot of real estate in my brain, admittedly. But we have to also get over all of this corporate bullshit stuff. We have Pumps and I have five kids between us. She has three, I have two. I want them to grow up in a great country that they can be proud of, which brings me to my Last, had it or hit it, Jank, had it or hit it, the United States of America.

01:30:05

Oh, no, hit it. Look, we're immigrants. I came to the country when I was eight, I didn't speak any English. I was born in Istanbul. I have an interesting perspective because I lived outside of the country. We came here because of the idea of America. If we thought America was about white people or Christians or anything along those lines, we want to come because then we're not welcome. But what's awesome about America is it says, no, you're all welcome. That's supposed to be the driving message of America and the idea of America. Now, it doesn't mean for my right wing friends, it doesn't mean that we have open borders and we let everybody in. No, of course, every country has to have a process. We We have to make a joint decision. How many people are we going to let in? How many people are we not going to let in? Et cetera. Northern Europe actually does this a lot. They're very liberal, described by some as socialist, et cetera. Great social safety net, but a lot of them don't allow a lot of immigrants in. I get it. Different countries set the different parameters and et cetera.

01:31:21

But overall, we came for the idea of America, which is we're all equal, we're all free, and we seek truth and justice. And some people go, Yeah, but, Jake, we don't really do that. I mean, look at what we're doing in Venezuela, look at what we did in Iraq, look at all the coups, look at all this. Look at all the corruption you talk about nonstop by Young Terks. I know, guys. But it's great to have those principles and ideas out there to strive for. It allows us to come back and say, Wait, did you mean equality or did you not? When they're attacking trans people or anyone else. I love that idea, and I'm here for it, and I'm super corny about it. I'm very patriotic about it. The Constitution, you're supposed to amend it. It's such a beautiful document. It says you should do revolutions every generation. It just should be a political one. How you do a revolution is not through pitchforks or violence or any of that. You do a revolution through the Constitution. Every amendment is a revolution. And so what we need now, more anything else, to get America back to its ideals is an amendment to get money out of politics.

01:32:37

Because if we don't get the money out, no matter what the issue is, they're just going to go back and do whatever the hell they want. Jennifer, I had the same experience that you did, but in a little different way. You were programmed to believe Hillary was the answer, et cetera. When we came to this country, we were programmed by mainstream media One of the reasons why, as you can tell, I can't stand them, is because they brainwashed us into thinking that Reagan was a cowboy and got us to believe Shining City on a Hill, Mourning in America, Because they never said he wasn't a cowboy. I wrote this book Justice is Coming. Chapter 5 is called The Matrix, and it's about mainstream media. I give example after example. Msnbc, Chris Matthews would talk about how George Bush landed on aircraft carrier on the day of mission accomplished, and he was like a pilot, and he was such a manly guy. Fred Thompson would dress up as a guy in his pickup truck. He would drive a limo to a beat-up old pickup truck, and then after he was done with the photo op, he would drive back in the limo, and the press didn't report the limo.

01:33:52

Chris Matthews was like, Fred Thompson smells of aquavelva. He's not like a leathery man that women love. I'm What would you know about what women love? We've been hearing this crap. And by the way, he completed the whole YMPA thing. He was like, And Rudy Giuliani is going to drop on the beat. I'm like, Wait, you're supposed to be the Democrat on MSNBC. You're telling me that you nearly sexually fantasized about all these Republican senators and politicians and presidents, right? We were sold a bill of goods. They didn't care too much if you voted corporate Republican or corporate Democrat, but corporate media cared a lot that you voted for corporate politicians and not someone who's going to represent you. It's okay, though. Open minds, open minds. If Jennifer and I didn't have open minds, we wouldn't be where we are today. It's so important to have that open mind. Go reach out to a fellow Democrat, to a fellow citizen, no matter who they voted for, and you might be surprised at the number of agreements. Last thing on that is we do a thing called populace plank on T It's populaceplank. Com is how you could find it.

01:35:02

It's six different issues. They're all core democratic policy issues, and almost every independent agrees with them. A giant chunk of MAGA guys also agree with them. What are these magical policies? Anti-war, anti-corruption, getting money out of politics, paid family leave, higher minimum wage, hence higher wages for everyone, negotiate drug prices, and don't let private equity buy residential real estate. Because they're going to steal all our homes and they're going to turn us into renters. When I tell those six policies, again, core democratic policies, almost every time on almost every one of those issues, even right wing voters go, Hell, yeah, that's exactly right. In fact, I'll end on a shocking story. How did I wind up in going to all these right wing shows in the first place? Well, we were at the RNC in 2024 And Charlie Kirk comes by and says, Hey, do you mind if I sit down and do an interview with you guys? And we're like, That's already surprising, right? But we're like, Sure. We're the young Turks. We're open minded. We'll have a conversation with anyone. Charlie sits down. We still disagree in a whole bunch of stuff. And they lionized them and made him a hero, et cetera.

01:36:19

But I see the full picture. And I know that before he died, he was talking about how Islam is the enemy, right? And how Mamdani was going to take over New York for Muslims, et cetera. On the other hand, we get into that conversation, and I mentioned the private equity thing of buying the residential real estate, and he goes, You're right. We shouldn't let Wall Street buy residential real estate. I was like, I had never seen a Republican say that before. Because in my experience, they were all trained by Fox News and Rush Limba with corporate talking points. But here was populism bringing out on the right wing. And populism on the right wing, in some ways, could be dangerous on some of these identity issues. But populism on the right wing at least gets as one giant upside. It's past corporate talking points. It's past supporting corporations because Rupert Murdoch and Rush Limba told you to. There was Charlie Kirk going, God damn right, do not let them buy Our Homes, because if we do, it's not going to matter if you're right wing or left wing. We're all going to be indentured servants to corporations.

01:37:22

And so the fact that that's even breaking out on the right wing is a miracle, and it's wonderful. So let's take that win. We'll fight them on all of the other issues. And super last thing that ties all of this together, it's a free country. So I could fight Marjorie Taylor-Green 100% on our opinions on January sixth or trans people or any of that. And we could have a vicious fight over it and turn around and go, Yeah, we should take money out of politics. Not that complicated.

01:37:53

I can't thank you enough for coming on. It's very cool and surreal to have you on. And please tell Anna. I'm so obsessed with her. I think she's a badass bitch. Love her. We'd love to have her on the podcast as well. Thank you for all of your insights. I needed this. I felt like it was part political conversation and a little bit of therapy that I needed to remind myself of the commonalities that we can have and that those are important because I can be such a feisty twot sometimes. Just impulsive. I know that comes as a surprise. I needed to hear that. I That was really good to hear. So thank you so much, Jake.

01:38:33

Can I give you just some love back? Yes. First, I love you guys. So I think you're doing incredible work. And I think what you're doing is so important. So Young Terks is the oldest show in online history. We've been going for over 20 years online. We're the first YouTube partner channel, so I'm the original YouTuber. And the reason I bring that up is because we've been standing a post for over 20 years waiting for the cavalry, and you're the cavalry. When I see you saying the things that are correct and waking your audience up to the reality, oh, my God, I've been waiting for it for decades. So thank you so much for doing what you do.

01:39:18

Well, thank you for lighting the fire. Yeah, because it's really important. The work that we're all doing is important, and you laid the psychological groundwork for us to be able to jump on where we are and evolve in the way that we have. I think everybody right now needs an off-ramp to whatever echo chamber they're in so that we can have conversations like this to make a better safer, cooler country for ourselves.

01:39:49

Absolutely.

01:39:51

Pumps, do you have anything to say to Jake?

01:39:54

No, I'm just sitting here. I'm trying to process a lot of what we talked about because I think it's super important and it's a great perspective to have because myself, having evolved so much politically and personally, making space for someone to do that, I'm a hypocrite if I don't do that. This is basically what I'm sitting here thinking about.

01:40:18

We're going to be better. We're going to be better, thank you. We're going to be better, at least for the remainder of today.

01:40:27

Aren't we all trying to do that? Again, I also love the theme of this show. It's not just about politics. You guys asked me, what have I had it with? One of the things that I put on my list that wasn't political at all is our definition of success. People are obsessed with money and status and fame and all these things. But does that actually get you to happiness? The point is supposed to be, okay, I'm going to get rich or I'm going to get this, and then I'm going to get to happiness. Okay, one, I've interviewed almost everyone that's reached those heights. People like Ray Dalio, one of the richest men in the world, normally are one of the most successful people in entertainment history, and it goes on and on. Every time I ask them the same question at the end, You wake up happy because you killed it. Your whole life is legendary. None of them say yes. It didn't work. My The answer is go straight to happiness. Joy is an act of defiance. But in order to get there, you have to be on the same road we are politically, which is open mind.

01:41:44

Because if you were taught success as wealth, success is status. You're not going to get off that track. But if you're taught, no, wait a minute, success is whatever makes you most satisfied, you most fulfilled, Living the best life you can, getting the most out of life, then you'll be on a different track. And the way you got there onto the correct track is that you kept an open mind. If we don't learn from our mistakes, we're wasting all those gifts that life gave us. Every mistake is a gift because it lets you learn from it, grow, and become a better person. And I think all three of us have done that politically in different ways. And I think it's a beautiful thing to teach our audiences.

01:42:27

I do, too. Jank, thank you so much.

01:42:30

Thank you. Thank you, guys. Again, I can't appreciate you enough. You're awesome.

01:42:35

All right. Thank you. We'll see you soon. Okay, I feel like I had a therapy session. Did you? I would, too.

01:42:41

He's really smart, but he's a great communicator.

01:42:45

He's a really good communicator, and I feel like he's a seasoned veteran at this, and he hits so many good points. As you're processing what he's saying, my brain will go one place, and it's like he intuitively knows, and he stamps that out in the conversation or resolves it. I think he's very good. And also, I think it's pretty cool that he and Hassan are both so passionate about all of this stuff. A little bit different political ideologies, but I think that's very cool.

01:43:15

Yeah. And I'm sitting here thinking, does Elon Musk wake up happy? That's the most miserable- In fact, no, he doesn't. On the planet. Can you imagine being the richest man on Earth and that fucking miserable? All right.

01:43:28

Yeah. He needs to go to rehab. All right. That's all we have. I think I was just so happy to have you. It was a super long episode, but I thought everything he said was so helpful. And perhaps tell them when we'll see them.

01:43:41

We'll see you next Tuesday and Thursday.

01:43:47

I'll tell you what I've had it with. Let's hear it. I've had it with that. Listen up, patriots, gay-triots, and natriots. We have a new podcast that has dropped. It's called iHip News. It's Monday through Friday, every day, 15 to 20 minutes hot takes on the political landscape of the United States of America always served with a side of petty grievances.

01:44:12

01:44:18

Please go rate, subscribe, and review so that we will chart upwards with America's greatest legal mind. Pumps, what does an angel say? Caca. A little bit more enthusiasm. Cacah. That's it. That's... Caca. That's the patriotism that this country means right there.
