This episode of The Dan Bongino Show examines the 2026 midterm results, focusing on Texas turnout figures the host questions and the possible end of the Senate filibuster. He argues that Democrats could scrap the filibuster and that a national popular vote compact would threaten the Electoral College.
The show also covers the incoming Texas governor's border policies, claims about migration from California, and the Democratic Socialists of America platform. In an interview, election integrity expert Hans von Spakovsky discusses voter ID, voter rolls, and registration rules.
Many claims in the episode are presented without independent verification.

All America, all the time. Sit down, buckle up, and get ready for "The Dan Bongino Show."
You know, I must be getting older. You know, Vince was doing the show, so I guess you guys turned the volume down a little bit on this thing? And my hearing is getting so bad. You gotta remember, Mike, every job I've had for the last, I don't know, since 2011, so 15 years, actually 1999, involved an earpiece. Either a Secret Service earpiece, a radio earpiece, a podcast earpiece, a TV earpiece, and it's always in the same ear. So I've gotta turn this thing up to, like, maximum volume to hear anything.
And Vince was in here before. Hey, man. My father always says, "It getting old, it ain't for the young." So, a couple things we have to hit right off the bat so we lay out where we're gonna go with the show today. I'm gonna tell you what we're gonna tell you, tell you, and then tell you what I told you. Number 1: the numbers in Texas. If everything turns out and checks out in Texas, it's easily explainable what happened. The numbers in Texas were just extraordinary, and I don't mean that in a good way for us, obviously.
When I say extraordinary, I mean it in the actual sense of the word, like extra-ordinary. They were not ordinary. They were ordinary extra. Unusually high numbers. Listen, if they did what I what I told you earlier on, if they're the Democrat Party is like an army. It's like a turnout army of people when they need to. Through NGOs and what they've done to infiltrate teachers' unions and elsewhere, the numbers were through the roof. I'm gonna give you them. You can look at them yourself and draw your own conclusions.
All I ask, 'cause we do not get into stuff we can't prove, is we gotta show some evidence. However, we're not gonna ignore that either. Also, we got a bunch of problems we have to triage right now. There's no time. I was glad to see yesterday the response on a lot of social media platforms, not just X or elsewhere, was righteous anger. And not, "I'm giving up. I'm forfeiting my country. Screw it. America sucks. I'm out of here." I was I was really elated to see that. Because, like I told you yesterday, we've been through this before, folks.
This show has been on the air a long time. I've I ran for office back in that 2011-2012 presidential cycle. That was a long time ago in my lifetime, only 51 years old. We've been through this before. And after Obama won reelection and after 2020, that debacle, there was a lot of people, not you, but a lot of people like, "I give up." I'm not seeing a lot of that. I'm seeing a lot of righteous anger. People are ready to dust off and get back to work, which is good because point 2 outside of the Texas numbers I wanna bring up right away is we have problems we have to triage right now.
There's no time to take a week off and, like, get the Kleenex out. There's no time for that. We don't have time for that. We got problems we have to take care of right now. All right, fellas. Let's go. I'm just gonna show you the numbers, folks. The numbers were, to say, anomalous. And I'm not suggesting anything without evidence. I don't do that. There's a whole ecosystem of people who wanna take you down a, uh, a faux yellow brick road to, you know, to, to, to distract you. We're not doing any of that, okay? We're gonna do facts, and we're gonna do evidence. We're not just gonna ask questions to ask questions. However, what happened in Texas was just insane. I put this in, uh, ChatGPT, uh, just so you could get an idea.
Folks, in midterm elections, in other words, non-presidential midterm years, where the entire House of Representatives is up and a third of the Senate every 2 years, right? And the president's not on the ballot. It is extremely uncommon, extremely uncommon, for there to be more votes in a non-presidential year than there are in a presidential year. So I put this in there. How many votes did James Talarico in Texas get versus how many votes Kamala Harris got in the presidential? Obviously, there were liberals listening. They might not know this. Talarico was a Senate candidate just now.
Kamala Harris on the presidential ticket. I gotta go slow for the lefties here. Here's the comparison, ChatGPT notes. Talarico got 5,444,000 total votes. That's a lot. Here's the kicker. Kamala Harris got 4,835,000 total votes. Folks, not only did Talarico equal Kamala Harris's presidential vote, but surpassed it by far. Now, that is an anomalous, uh, really anomalous.
And the source is the 2026 unofficial election returns. They'll make them official in the coming weeks. Uh, you get mail and all the stuff, whatever, provisionals and things like that. But it's not gonna change by much, obviously. Folks, this is strange. Uh, if if the numbers turn out to be accurate as they are, and I don't see a lot of change coming with them, everything I said to you before the election, I hope, rings a bell. That elections are not complicated.
Issues are complicated. Candidates are complicated. Elections are not. Elections are a math issue. If you show up and you voted in a presidential election like the Democrats did, if you show up, we'll win. If you don't, we'll lose. I, I there's that seems simplistic. It isn't. It isn't. This is an extremely anomalous outcome. Here's another post from, uh, Magavoice on X about the Texas numbers. And here it is comparing, uh, basically midterm to midterm.
The Texas Senate race results. Ted Cruz got 4.2 million votes when he beat Beto O'Rourke, who got 4 million votes. Here's the kicker. Ken Paxton, in just the election the other night, got the same amount of votes as Ted Cruz, 4.2 million. So how did he lose? Well, because, as I told you, Talarico got 5.4 million and still counting. Magavoice notes, Talarico got 600,000 more votes than Kamala Harris and 200,000 more than Joe Biden. Folks, I told you, the Democrat Party is you have to see them now as, like, an army.
Like, they work in a top-down, orders-go-out kind of mentality. I've got Hans Vons Bacasti coming up at the end of this show. I'm asking you for a favor. Please don't miss it. I consider Hans to be one of the premier election integrity guys in the entire country. At 11 o'clock, I'm gonna be interviewing him about the entire elections process. We have focused on this extensively. I've been called an election denier by goons on the left.
I'm not an election I don't deny elections happen. I just want free and fair elections. Fair enough, correct? What I everything from the registration process to voter ID, we cover all of that. And Hans will tell you exactly about motor voter and all of these things in the registration pipeline that create some issues. Don't miss that interview at the end. It's like a, a PhD course in 20 minutes on voter integrity. So, how it happened? If the if everything checks out, turnout happened. Just like I told you.
If all the people voted for Donald Trump would have showed up, these races would have been a lot tighter. Texas was a wipeout. Was a total, complete wipeout. And I'm gonna get to this because this is now problem number 2 right at the beginning of the show. Folks, there's no time. There's no time for I there's no time for any of this the, the, the fake Folex MAGA celebration event that's going on. There's no time for that, really. There just isn't. I everybody's frustrated with podcasts to stand, podcasts where nobody cares.
They wanna save their kids' school. They wanna save their healthcare plan and save the economy. I told you to be careful and divorce the people who are celebrating from the people who are critically analyzing. That's, that's, that's welcome. We, of course, we don't wanna lose another leg. What are we gonna do? Oh, everything was great? I'm glad to see people onto it. Here's what I think happened. Here's what I think happened. Some people have really good analysis. Other people are just celebrating 'cause they were never on your side, ever. They hate you. They vote with the Islamo-radicals and the losers because they hate your guts.
We have problems to fix right now. Dust off. Fell on the ground. Dust off. Get that dust off your shoulder right now like a, a Jay-Z thing or whatever. I don't know. I haven't listened for a long time. We need to dust off and get up because there's no time. Folks, they are going to attack the Senate filibuster. Again, for the liberals listening who are a little slow, when I say they, I'm referring to Democrats. I should be precise. They now have 55-plus seats. I say plus because we don't know what's gonna happen in Alaska, Mississippi.
There's a couple things up in the air. But they are going to have at least 55 United States Senate seats, the Democrats. The filibuster, they're gonna need a few more. However, they will not need a few more to, uh, to overcome a filibuster that can stop any of their legislation. The Republicans would still have filibuster power. You'd have to hit 60, and they don't have enough, even with Alaska and Mississippi. They are gonna throw the filibuster out. This is not an I-told-you-so moment.
Nobody cares. But I've only been discussing this for how long, fellas? I don't know. 4 years? 5 years? If we didn't strike first, and now the opportunity's gone, and basically erase the filibuster and make it a, at the minimum, a talking filibuster, that the Democrats are gonna do it first, and then all you would need is 51 votes in the Senate, just like on the House side where it's a majority. You don't think they're gonna throw the filibuster out?
Chuck Schumer's gonna run for the leadership position. He, of course, is the Democrat. He's minority leader. Will be the Senate majority leader coming up if he wins. You think the radical left, Troy Jackson, Al Syed, and some of these other lunatics are gonna give him a vote for Senate majority leader if he doesn't throw out the filibuster? Ladies and gentlemen, the only thing stopping you from a completely blue DSA, defund the police, open borders, higher taxes, the government healthcare for all, America is Donald Trump's veto pen if they scrap the filibuster.
Here's Chuck Schumer. He's asked a question. Now, the audio's low in the beginning 'cause your reporter shouts a question. The reporter asks him directly, like, "Hey, man, what's your thoughts on, like, scrapping the filibuster?" Notice, notice how Schumer does not rule it out at all. Check this out.
Did you support leaking the filibuster?
Look, we are focused. The first thing we're gonna do is reduce people's costs and work the legislative process so it does. Thank you, everybody.
Can you work with the president, Leader Schumer?
We are gonna do he asked, "Can I work with the president?" Okay? We are going to work hard. We are gonna work hard to drive costs down with the president or without him.
You know, I, I, I get it. There are Republicans up on the hill who've been there a long time, staff members, senators, and others. Uh, you know, why do we need to take advice from that guy for fine, whatever, man. You don't have to take advice from me. I'm just a guy. I have opinions like anyone else. Chuck Schumer was asked a question in the beginning about nuking the filibuster and completely ducked and avoided the question because he knows he doesn't wanna say it right now as votes are still being counted. He knows that's exactly what they're gonna try to do, which would mean they would not only have enough.
If they have say they wind up with 56 US Senate seats on the Democrat side, they would only need 51. They already have a huge majority in the House coming in. That majority may be 40 seats. It's not even close. Do you have any idea how much stuff is gonna make it to the resolute desk in the Oval Office that President Trump's gonna have to veto? Folks, we're stuck with these senators for 6 years. The chances of us winning back the Senate don't come until 2030, 2032.
What I'm telling you is if we were to lose the White House 'cause we're gonna sit here and listen to the people celebrating in Folex MAGA, your country's done. Finished. The country, as you know it, will become France. Voter ID will be banned. You'll see a mass empowerment of teachers' unions, school choice out the window, open borders, and there'll be nothing to stop it. No. Yes. No. Yes. This is why I'm telling you, we need to dust off.
We don't have any time. Get back in fight mode. Fight mode. Not the Democrat violent fight mode. The political tactics fight mode, just like we did after the Obama and Biden disasters. I was glad to see people like, "All right, let's we get back to work," 'cause that's how I feel about it. So problem number 1, which we have no time to waste on, is, folks, we cannot allow them to scrap this filibuster. If we didn't do it, and I think we should have.
I'm on the record saying that. I don't duck from that position. We didn't. But if we didn't do it, we shouldn't let them do it either. We've gotta stop it. Whatever we have to do to pressure them to 'cause if they do that, it is going to be a disaster. We should have done it first. Sounds like you're saying two separate things. Wall Street Journal had a piece up about this yesterday. We've got basically 60 days left to of a Republican leadership in the Senate and House.
Wall Street Journal had a great piece yesterday by Michael Fragosa. This is our last chance to confirm originalist judges. We have the 5th and the 8th circuits. We could tip the balance in a conservative direction, but we gotta get it done now. There's no time to waste. We can't just throw away these 60 days because we're sobbing about it. We can't. The country goes with it. Consider the ramifications of progressive DSA dominance of the House, Senate, the courts, and the White House. Ladies and gentlemen, you do not wanna see that country. Actually, you can see it right now. It looks like France, which it would 5 minutes ago, there was a segment on Fox about more riots happening in France right now.
1% economic growth. France can't grow out of its own problems. Here's the second problem we have. We have no time to waste on. Ladies and gentlemen, not only do they wanna pack the Supreme Court, not only do they wanna dump the filibuster to, in fact, pack the Supreme Court, uh, they also wanna scrap the Electoral College System. They wanna do this national popular vote compact thing. This is a disaster. It's not particularly complicated. The United States presidency, as many of you know, you're very smart, but again, there are liberals listening, is not decided by the popular vote, okay?
It is decided by 50 state elections. Every state has a number of electors. You have to get to 270 electors to win the presidency. The states allocate outside of Nebraska and Maine, which does it by congressional district. The popular vote within the state is what matters. So if you win Florida and you're Donald Trump versus Kamala Harris, which he did win, then all of Florida's what is it? 29 electors, uh, electors go to President Trump. So you can 270, swipe off 29.
Here's the kicker with the left-wing national popular vote compact. They hate that. They want the popular vote all around the country to decide the presidency. Why do they want that? Because, ladies and gentlemen, there's nothing they would like more than to have states like California and New York with almost no control over their elections at all, flooding the ballot with votes that are potentially illegal, illicit, or not eligible, and they're gonna decide the presidency at 2 o'clock in the morning on election night because Florida would have to wait for what happened in the popular vote.
So you get what I'm saying? Using Florida's example, you win the Florida vote in the election, it doesn't matter what happened in California. You get Florida's chunk of electoral votes. If the national voter, uh, voter compact, popular vote compact were to were to be passed in these states, then what would happen in, say, uh, Florida would it wouldn't matter what happened. They'd have to wait for California to finish counting. And then whoever won the popular vote, they get all Florida's votes. Now, why is this a problem now that we have no time to waste? Because, folks, they, they cleaned up the Democrats.
Again, this no lipstick, pig lipstick, whatever. None of that. They absolutely cleaned up at the state level, upwards of 500 new seats. It was a disaster election night. It was a total disaster. Axios reported on this. They're talking about this compact. The compact has already been enacted by 18 states, NDC, since launching in 2006. That represents 222 electoral votes. 18 states have pledged, "We are gonna respect the national popular vote, not what happens in our states."
So they're at 222, which is not far away from 270. The problem is the agreement only kicks in when participating states collectively control the 270 electoral votes to win. Because we lost so badly on election night, the 5 new Democrat trifectas could bring the total to 283, which is greater than 270, which would mean California would decide the next president. Folks, this is big, big, huge trouble. You would never California, meaning campaigns would have to spend their entire time, presidential campaigns, in only states with a heavy population to win the popular vote.
You live in Wyoming, Montana. You live in South Carolina, states with either a mid or low-level population. You will never see a presidential candidate again. No one will care about your issues at all. They're care about the new Green Deal because California, you need California votes. Do you understand how dangerous this is? Your state, New Hampshire, no one will give a damn about New Hampshire. Zero people. Mississippi, you'll never be heard from again. No, but we have issues in Mississippi. They won't care if the president's decided by popular vote. There's not enough population in Mississippi to tip the election.
Your votes count now. They matter a lot. Whoever wins Mississippi, they get those, uh, Electoral College votes. Nope. Wouldn't matter. Christian Hines and Nate Silver had a, uh, post on X about this entire thing. It's long, but I encourage you to read it. Hines says, "Democrats won enough trifectas last night to theoretically obtain an absolute majority in the Electoral College for the national popular vote compact, and they have enough of a congressional majority large enough to authorize such a compact." The only thing stopping them right now is it's questionably constitutional.
I think it's unconstitutional. I don't say questionably 'cause I don't know how the Supreme Court would rule with Roberts up there. Folks, this could be really, really dangerous. We have no time. There is no time to sit back. The time to mobilize is now. The Democrats, when they lost again to President Trump, they got up the next day. I don't like anything they're doing, but they dusted off and used that righteous anger to come back in these midterms in a fury. We have to do the same thing. We've done it before. We'll do it again.
Live to fight another day because we have no other choice. We have no other choice. No other choice. I'm not forfeiting that flag behind me for anyone, no less a group of bow-tie-wearing, cigar-smoking, backroom deal-cutting, uh, Democrat socialists who wanna screw over your healthcare plan, your economy, and your kid's school. I'm not doing it, and you're not doing it either. So we've gotta worry about the filibuster getting scrapped. We've gotta, uh, mobilize quickly, get, uh, uh, Trump judges appointed in the next 60 days.
We have to mobilize quickly against this national popular vote compact. We also have to mobilize, uh, quickly against a crisis not brewing, a crisis that is now here in Texas. I showed you the numbers in the beginning. I said I would discuss this. You know, let me take a, a quick break, but I wanna this is a crisis right now. There is no time to waste. There's no nursing wounds, nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, Texas is a border state. I know you know that. Again, liberals may not.
The new Democrat, socialist, communist incoming governor of Texas is an open borders lunatic who will destroy your state within weeks of swearing in and raising a right hand. And you think you're gonna get any protection from the lieutenant governor? That's not gonna happen either. Oh, stay tuned. Oh, this is a Texas issue. No, it isn't. It is a national issue, and it's a crisis right now. We need to mobilize against and fix.
There are more than enough Republicans in Texas to use their righteous anger to mobilize against this. Folks, losing weight can be a problem for people. You know, you get older, you get a little doughy. It sucks. It's bad for your knees and your joints, but certainly bad for me. I had to lose some weight. I have a my left knee is not great. So eventually, I gotta get that thing fixed. But I had to lose about 30 pounds. I was really not interested in a lot of the, uh, the injections. They work for a lot of people. They help control, you know, blood sugar. But, uh, GLP-1s and those products, they, they really weren't for me.
Weight loss injections work 'cause they help control blood sugar and appetite, so you eat less. That's what Brickhouse Nutrition's Lean was created to do. I used Lean. Worked out great for me. Replicates the benefits of weight loss injections without the needles. Lean helps support healthy blood sugar and reduces the spikes and crashes that drive nonstop snacking and cravings. But Lean goes a step further. I lost about 30 pounds on it. Lean can help your body turn fat and energy, so you burn it instead of storing it. No prescriptions, no needles. If you've been thinking about losing weight, I get emails from people. Does it work? Yes. Worked for me.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is a crisis happening right now in Texas. Bill Mallugian, who's, uh, Fox News reporter, who's got a lot of expertise on the border, does a lot of coverage down there, put this out on X yesterday.
The incoming governor, Gina Hinojos, uh, I don't say her name wrong. It's not intentional, whatever. Uh, has called she is the new incoming governor, has called on Governor Abbott to listen to this. This is in Texas, to end state and local cooperation with ICE. And she can order that on day one. Hinojos voted against SB4 as a Texas state rep. The bill was essentially a sanctuary cities ban and required Texas law enforcement to cooperate with ICE detainers. She voted against that.
She then voted against another SB4 in 2023, which made it a state crime to cross illegally into Texas. So basically, what Mallugian's saying is if there's a border crisis in Texas, which shares a border with Mexico to the liberals and to people who cross the aisle to teach Republicans a lesson, you're not teaching anyone a lesson but yourself. You're now gonna have illegals flooding in the state because she notes he notes here that there will likely be no resistance from Texas law enforcement officials at the border.
No Texas DPS, no Texas National Guard, no water buoys, razor wire, no Operation Lone Star, which Hinojos called a dog and pony show and political theater. Folks, Texas shares a border with Mexico. Do we need to, like, ChatGPT this for people? If you voted in Texas to teach Republicans a lesson in Texas, you were teach oh, look at this. How long is the Texas-Mexico border? Approximately 1,254 miles.
This is a national issue. There's no time. There's no you gotta dust off and get back up. To the Texas Senate, which remained Republican, you are gonna be the bulwark against this insanity. And to citizens who voted for Gina Hinojos, who think like, "Oh, you know, she really wasn't that bad. I'm sending a message. I'm sending a message to Republicans." The only message you're sending is you want your state to become a sanctuary sitting on a border for Mexico for illegals who come to the United States. That's the only message you're sending.
And what was Hinojos focused on, on election night? You think she was focused on the border? Oh, no. She was focused on destroying your standard of excellence in school choice, Texas. Not only is she gonna likely open your border to an infiltration and invasion that Donald Trump will have to stop himself over the next two years, and we better win the presidency. She's focused on taking your kids' school choice away and sticking them in schools they don't wanna go to. Don't listen to me.
Listen to her. Check this out.
And we will work tirelessly to repair the damage of the Texas voucher scam.
So Texans who voted overwhelmingly to be able to pick where their kids go to school, not a controversial idea, folks. This is one of her top priorities, to make sure your kid goes to a crappy school. That's you think she cares about the border? She does. She cares about opening it. Now, many of you may be hearing this for the first time because the media, even in Texas, will always cover for Democrat socialists because they're socialists themselves. You're like, "I didn't vote for an open border in Texas.
I didn't vote against quality schools in Texas." Well, you did if you voted for Talarico, who's, by the way, all on board with dumping the filibuster. And you voted for Gina here, who voted against a secure border. Like, it's actually on the record. Like, you could look that up yourself. Maybe the lieutenant governor will save you. No such luck. Here's Todd Bensman on X. Good luck with that. Texas lieutenant governor-elect, Vicky Goodwin, has voiced policy views that have acted on would turn Texas into a sanctuary state akin to Oregon and California.
She supports allowing all, quote, "refugees" to cross the border with impunity and stay. Opposes ICE cooperation. Voted against Jocelyn's law, the lying bail to violent criminal aliens. Voted against the law that bans sanctuary city policies in Texas and opposed the state's spending on border security and walls and a lot more. You got a bunch of people on Folex MAGA right celebrating today. We told you sh we told us what? What did you tell us? What did you tell what did you tell us?
Oh, I remember you told us nothing is happening while everything was happening. You realize the border's actually closed right now, effectively de facto closed and de jure closed right now, thanks to President Trump. But we taught you guys a l you taught nothing. You taught nothing. You did teach us a lesson to never listen to you idiots again. Again, I'm not talking about critics or analysts. That's important. I think we went through that yesterday. Not only important, but welcome.
Folks, so what happened to Texas? Well, there are a lot of theories out there, but they're actually very simple. Ladies and gentlemen, California happened to Texas. That's what happened. California has been run by some of the same lunatics that just got elected at the statewide level in Texas. And some of the people that moved from California brought their crazy California ideology with them. I live in the great state of Florida. We did good, but not great on election day. I am begging you, liberals. We don't want you here. Quick poll around the studio. Gee, do you want them here?
That's a no. Justin, do you want them in Florida? That's a no. Jasmine, no. Andrew, Jos, giving a big thumbs down. Nobody wants you in the state. I can't prevent you from moving here. Please stay out. What happened to Texas? California happened to Texas. People ran away from garbage can, deep blue communist policies, and brought the communist policies to the freaking state of Texas. Here's a post by Kevin Dalton showing you some numbers about what happened. Folks, we gotta clean this mess up. We don't have a choice.
Cha uh, check this out. There's also a little, uh, a graphic about it. 'Cause if you're having trouble trying to wrap your head around what happened in Texas and, uh, Nevada last night, let me explain it for you. In 2024 alone, roughly 77,000 people moved from California to Texas. The same year, 53,000 moved from California to Nevada. These two states just delivered big Democratic wins. And he goes on to talk about all of these la the governor's loss in Nevada too. There. You need a little diagram? There is the communist infection spreading across the country as people flee the communist infection and then bring the virus with them to other states, by the way, including Florida.
Keep the infection localized. We don't want you here. Look at that huge dot in Texas. Keep it in your own states. We don't want it. So again, telling you what I told you. Explain what happened in Texas in the beginning. If the numbers turn out to be legitimate, it was a massive turnout for Democrats who decided, "We're gonna show up like we did in the presidential and end some." We have to triage problems right now. The Electoral College is a huge problem for us.
We gotta preserve it. Huge problem. We gotta get judges confirmed now. We've gotta fight this filibuster problem. We've gotta, uh, we've gotta fight against the open borders in Texas that are gonna happen the minute Gina gets sworn in as governor of Texas. Here's another problem we're gonna have to deal with. I addressed it yesterday on Will Kane Show. This is a problem for everyone. Even if there are any sane Democrats left out there, this is gonna be a problem for you too. People who were on the fence, independents and undecided that voted for Democrats thinking they were gonna change things.
I would argue that socialists did sign up for this, but sane Democrats did not sign up for two years of weaponized government and hearings into impeachments and everything. They just didn't do it. We know you're gonna do it. Everybody's prepared because you're freaking lunatics on the left. Everybody gets it. But Donald Trump, President Trump was asked about this yesterday in a media avail. He was asked about impeachment. And this reaction, because I've spoken with him about this many times, is totally genuine and authentic.
He's like, "You know what, man? I'm, I'm like, I'm not concerned about it." Because we everybody knew. I'll I don't usually play clips of myself on it, but it, uh, it's important you see this one. 'Cause I was asked about it in Fox yesterday with Will Kane. Everybody who signed up to work and put their hand up and said, "I'll volunteer to go work in the Trump administration." Well, they volunteer you paid, but you get the point. Everyone understood the Democrats were gonna try to put us in jail. Everyone. I addressed this on Sean Hannity's podcast. Everyone. That's where you're like, "Well, aren't you scared?"
No, there's no it's like watching a horror movie for the 10th time. It's not scary after the 10th time. You know what's gonna happen. This reaction from President Trump is, I'm telling you, totally authentic. Is he concerned? Nah. It's already baked into the cake. Check this out.
I, I can't tell you that. They may tell you, but I can't tell you that.
Did they understand impeachment at all? Some House members.
No.
No.
No, they didn't understand.
No.
Are you concerned about it?
Not even a little bit. It would I think it would destroy I think it would destroy the Democrat Party if they did that. 'Cause impeachment for no reason, what, for having a successful country? Our country is more successful now than at any time in its history. Watch the beam go up.
Watch the beam go up. He did but that's a totally authentic, candid, honest, genuine reaction from the president. He's not hiding like a deep fear of the he knows it. Everybody knows it. Folks, the second the president called and said, "Hey, you wanna be deputy director of the FBI?" The second of that, I absolutely knew there was a target on my back. Dan, you're smiling. I'm smiling 'cause I'm that I told you, it's like the horror movie you've seen for the 10th time.
Everybody knew. I knew exactly what I was signing up for. I knew what I was giving up, and I knew I was giving up my sanity for, like, basically the next 10 years while these lunatics do their Star Chamber Stalinist stuff when they get in power. Everybody knew. For all these Democrats that went out there that are, you know, still sane, the small pocket of them left, I'm pretty sure you didn't vote for that, but you're gonna get it. You're not gonna get affordability or any of this stuff.
You're gonna get open borders, weaponized government, years and years of hearings and endless hearings on im stupid impeachments. It-it's all you're gonna get. They're already talking about it now. I was asked about this on Will Kane Show. Again, I don't usually play snippets of my own stuff. However, rather than saying it again, this is what happened. I made this same point yesterday. Check this out. Let me just send a message too 'cause this is important. I saw the tweets. The Bush League amateur hour, Trump cowards out there in Congress never had a real job.
Their mommy's probably still wiping them and cleaning her diapers, sitting there with a, you know, lawyer up, clear your schedule. Nobody's afraid of you. Okay? I'm not afraid of you. The people I talk to in the administration, you probably have friends there too. Nobo I wanna just be crystal clear. What nobody wants this. Nobody's asking for it. It's not some faux tough guy act. Zero people, like a freaking donut, are afraid of your stupid threats. We've seen this horror movie a thousand times. Everybody who signed up for the administration, me included, knew you were gonna pull this stunt.
You're not surprising anyone. You're this is like the Michael Myers movie you watch 15 times. When he pops in the doorway, you're not scared and you've already seen it. It may be concerning.
Right.
But it's not scary. And that's why President Trump feels the same way. Whatever. Bring it on. Yeah, man. Just whatever you're gonna do, just do it. I knew exactly what I was getting into. Exactly. I was actually a little surprised the mess we walked into over the grief. I knew it was bad, but it was actually kind of worse than I thought we got in there. But everything else I knew. I knew I was forfeiting away my sanity for the next 10 years. Okay?
Nobody is scared of you. Nobody. You can stop with the stupid tweets. Clear your schedule. I'm clearing nothing. Justin, have we cleared any schedule? Jasmine, you're the office manager. Have we cleared any schedule? We have not. I'm clearing nothing. Send your subpoenas. Do your thing. We'll find a way to do the show from DC in the morning. Nobody's clearing anything. I'll see you up there. I have zero fear of you absolute imbeciles.
Zero. I know exactly what you wanna do, and so does everyone else. Oh, well, they're just gonna stop at the administration. Say you're an on-the-fence Democrat and you're like, "Well, I'd like to see them work on affordability," but they'll stop at impeaching Trump and Hegseth and Kash and others. They'll definitely stop. It's not about anything else. Really? Here's Jamie Raskin, one of the most powerful socialists in Congress right now from Maryland. I know this guy well. I knew him when he was a statewide official.
He's an absolute life loser and one of the most cringe guys. I used to see him at parades when I was running for office when he, like, waved at people. The dude is so cringe, and I hate that word. He's so uncomfortable socially to be around. Here he is, a very powerful member of Congress right now. He's telling you, "You're not safe either. You were a corporation that anyway allied with the Trump administration. There are corporations that have interests with the Trump administration, national security and elsewhere. You're finished. They're coming after you too."
No. Yes. Listen to their own words. You have to listen to me. Check this out.
He will not hesitate to go after the private corporations that are collaborating in all of the lawlessness with Donald Trump. And we've done it before, and we will absolutely do it again. The law firms you mentioned, uh, we know that there were many heroic law firms, uh, that have stood up against all of the lawbreaking and then the attempt to shake them down for the time of their partners and their young associates. And yet there are major law firms in America, including Paul Weiss, that have, uh, capitulated to these coercive tactics by Donald Trump and have basically surrendered and made all kinds of outrageous concessions.
Oh, you thought they were gonna stop at President Trump and Hegseth? You, you can't impeach me. I'm not there. But you I'm sure you'll retroactively try. No. No. I thought you were voting on affordability. I thought we were told yesterday it was all about, you know, Iran and Israel and affordability. Not to the Democrats. It's not about any of that. They don't care about any of that. You think they're gonna lower gas prices?
I just wanna I if you're in the chat and you're a Democrat, welcome to the show. I'm just I'm asking you an honest question. You think the Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices? You realize the Democrat Party position is, quote, "Keep it in the ground." What's it? Oil. Well, if it's in the ground, it's under your gas tank. That's the point. How is decreasing the supply you know what? You guys know on the left, you understand basic economics. I know you're liberals.
This is this probably a dumb question. Of course you don't. There's a thing in economics called the market clearing price, the price of something. It's where the supply curve and the demand curve intersect. You want the price down, low. When you decrease the supply of a product and the demand continues to go up, the price does not go low. The market clearing price goes high. I thought there was affordability or something.
I thought it was affordability. It's not about affordability. The Democrats hosed you. It's about I'm sorry. It's about open borders, socialism, stealing your healthcare plan, and screwing you over. President Trump was asked a question yesterday about, uh, the vice president's comments about Iran on the, uh, on his X account. Here's how he answered this one.
Vice President Vance says the reason Republicans lost the war, uh, lost last night was the war in Iran.
Well, I think it's, uh, largely true because it drove the gasoline up a little bit short term. And probably that's, uh, probably it's true. But at the same time, if I had it to do again, I'd have to do it again because long term, uh, it's the only answer. You can't let Iran have a nuclear war.
Do you feel like it was worth it to.
I do. Yeah. I mean, well, you have no choice. I mean, I thought the oil would go up a lot more, and I did it on that basis. You have no choice. You have to do it. You can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon.
I told you, folks, level 10 decisions are hard. Level 10 decisions are decisions where there's no good answer. What do you mean there's no good answer? I mean, there's no good answer. There's no answer that's gonna satisfy people. There's a bad answer and a worse answer. There's an entire field of ethics taught in colleges, universities, high schools all over the world in business environments where that addresses the gray area of level 10 decision making. It was the economy. When you look at polling, it's clear as day.
Iran mattered to a lot of people. But the issue that drove it was the economy. Look at some of the public polling. Affordability. The point I'm trying to make is it was all a scam by the left. I saw some left-wing organizations freaking out. And, uh, listen, I can't tell you this enough. I give zero about what you think about my content. Zero. I use it in my content again the next day when you criticize my content 'cause I think you're clowns. They said, "I, I can't believe Dan said election night that the media is big one big psyop."
Let me say it again, loud and clear, and in all caps with 10 exclamation points. The modern media, the modern media, that's the one I live in right now, is unquestionably a psyop. I say that because if you voted on the economy and objected to the war in Iran, and again, I, I don't I can't say this enough 'cause I heard some people again, but I you told us to shut up. I hope you're not talking about this show because we can play a super cut of me, Justin, telling people, "Please, please air your opinions on the war in Iran."
How many times did we say that? If we are going to put our soldiers in the line of fire, our men and women and our heroes out there in the military, I am damn proud that people are very analytical and critical about that. N we never said that on this show. So you can shove that right up your I'm entitled to an opinion on it too. But outside of people who really this was there, and, and it was I think it was about 14% of the electorate, which is not small. The big issue was the economy and the downstream effects of that.
Look at the public polling. And this is where I'm I this is why I continue to insist to you that the media is a psychological operation. Justin put this together a couple months ago. I'm gonna this should be, like, proof positive to you. Case closed. Get the gavel. That the economy now, if you voted on it, is far better, far better than it was under Joe Biden, and yet you voted to revert back to the same policies you said you wanted to change.
It doesn't make any sense. Remember this segment we did a couple weeks ago? Red news, blue news. Here's how the media completely psyops you. Okay? Look at how they and, and notice what they they here's what they do. They take a collection of data, and when it's a Democrat, like this report from the New York Times in 2022 in the Biden regime, what they'll do is they'll focus on a good number and they'll ignore all the bad stuff. Keep this up a second. No, don't change it yet. When the Republican is in office, they'll ignore 100 good numbers and focus on one bad number to make you believe that they're worse than the Democrat.
Here. Here's the proof. July 2022, well, under Biden, US economy added 372,000 jobs in June, defying slowdown fears. You're like, "Wow, 2022, the economy's on fire." They noted power through June with broad-based hiring, keeping the country clear of recession territory. And then they put the little caveat in, not in the headline, even as inflation eats into wages and interest rates.
Now, inflation in 2022, which people said they were voting on affordability, a proxy for inflation. Uh, I'll show this oh, I'll show it right now. What was the inflation number in the United States in 2022? ChatGPT. In 2022, the US experienced its highest inflation in approximately 40 years. Oh my gosh. Peak inflation was 9% in June. End of year was 6.5, double what it is in the Trump administration.
I thought we were voting on affordability. I thought it was oh, it wasn't. It was. So there's the blue news. When the Democrats in office ignore the worst inflation in 40 years and talk about the jobs number. Here's Donald Trump's presidency in 2026. Now, keep in mind, by the way, inflation is a third of peak inflation under Biden, under Donald Trump. A third. One third. Here's the headline from the Times.
Inflation accelerates to the fastest pace in three years as energy prices bite. And they go into this big, long explanation about the inflation issue. Notice they don't mention 3.4% GDP growth. They don't mention highest median household income in modern American history, the lowest poverty rate in modern American history. Notice how inflation's been cut by a third from peak Biden inflation. Notice how they mention none of that. Tell me again, please, and try to do it without laughing, how the modern media is not a big psyop.
And all the liberals complaining about it yesterday, double barrel. Do you know where I'm going with this? I don't care. I don't ever, ever take marching instructions from you, podcast to stand, or elsewhere. I don't belong to the DC cabal that all hang around and, like, in a big circle. That's not my thing. I do my own thing. I'm down here in Florida. I run my own business. I do my own. I'm not interested in your opinions on my stuff at all. Just include the link to the show when you endlessly discuss what we're talking about 'cause I know we dictate your news cycle.
The media is a psyop. Just click follow. Click the follow button while you're there. Folks, I wanna be clear on this too. Again, if you voted for the Democrats thinking, like, "Oh, this is all about affordability. They're gonna bring me jobs. They're gonna cure the inflation crisis they created." I just gave you the numbers. I just gave you the numbers. 6%, 9% inflation under Democrat policies. You wanna vote for that to come back? I'm sorry.
But the plan they have is to only make this stuff worse. The Democrat Socialists of America, we showed the tweet yesterday, are celebrating their hijacking of the Democrat Party. It's not just AOC and the squad anymore, ladies and gentlemen. I, I they got a new name for it now. I don't know what it is. Like the Motley Crue. Who the hell cares? Nikki Sixx would probably be offended about that. They've got a ton of these people who just got elected to the House and Senate. Troy Jackson, Elsa Ed, and others. The Democrat Socialists have a plan, but it sure as hell is not affordability.
I want you to listen to this segment yesterday on Martha McCallum's show on Fox where this lady who's some big honcho in the Democrat Socialists of America movement, she's like, "Oh, yeah, we have a plan. All right. Open borders, pack the Supreme Court, government-run healthcare for all. It's gonna cost $47 trillion over 10 years. 47 trillion. Do you have any idea how that's gonna affect your tax bill?" Well, they have a plan. All right. It's got nothing to do with affordability. Don't listen to me. Listen to them.
Just give me sort of a true or false on these. Uh, abolish the Senate.
True.
Okay. Replace the presidency and Supreme Court as we now know them.
Yep.
Abolish ICE.
Absolutely.
Abolish borders and give amnesty to anyone currently in the US illegally.
As a long-term plan. Yep.
And your thought on last night? A lot of candidates, DSA candidates will now be in the House of Representatives. What do you say to that?
Yeah, it's very exciting. They've had enough of the systems that aren't working for us, that are only working for the billionaires, and they want something new.
And this is DSA policies and how much they would cost Americans over 10 years. Total cost $49 trillion, which comes down to and of course, these are all taxpayer dollars. That's the only place the government gets money. So that's $350,000 per household. Uh, to answer the things on this list, canceling student debt, open borders and amnesty, which you mentioned, Medicare for All, which you mentioned. So how, how are you gonna pay for that?
Yeah. I mean, we understand that the White House, who does not like us very much, managed to come up with some math that, uh, made us look bad. Um, but we don't agree with these numbers. Um, we do agree that, you know, we it will cost money to provide healthcare to everyone. Um, but it will cost less money than we spend on the military and on these illegal wars right now. And it'll bring that money home and help working families here in the United States.
So that's $47.4 trillion, Medicare for All.
Yeah. It's a made-up number.
Made-up budget.
No, it's a made-up number. Folks, there have been endless numbers of analysts who have looked at this. The range the ranges of the cost of this range anywhere from 30 to 47 trillion dollars. Honestly, I, I know it sounds crazy. That's not even the point. Sure, it's the point. No, it isn't 'cause they don't care. It's around there. Yeah. Exactly, Justin. They don't care. This lady and her Democrat Socialist allies are not interested in the cost of healthcare. Can we just stop right there and digest what I said?
This is why as a Republican, I candidly, I would not waste any time in this argument. It's gonna cost a lot because they don't care. She doesn't even know the number, this lunatic. Man, if they don't care about the cost, what do they care about? Tell me in the chat. Control. Folks, communism and socialism has always been about control. Do you understand that?
It has never been about economic efficiency from each according to their abilities to each according to their needs. You will get nothing, and they will take everything. Hundreds of millions of people have been exterminated in socialist systems and starved to death. They don't care. Socialism is about controlling the economy, controlling the political system, controlling the healthcare system, controlling the education system, and controlling you. They don't care if your kid gets an education.
They don't care if your heart rips out of your chest and you don't get healthcare in an emergency room. They don't care. They care about their foot on your neck. That is it. It is nothing more than disguised tyranny in the form of flowery chains. That's all it is. Some of you get that. This is only about control. Even if she was making a cost argument, they'll say ridiculous. She's not. She doesn't even know. She's like, "Ah, whatever. It's made-up number." No, it's not made up.
She's like, "Well, we spend that amount of money in the healthcare system now." Yeah, you spend money on your healthcare. What she's asking you to do is to tax you at $47 trillion to not only pay for your inefficient government-run rationed healthcare, but to pay for everybody else's too. Yeah, it's a good point, Justin, but let's give it a try. It's never been tried before. Government-run healthcare. Please sense the dripping sarcasm.
Oh, look at that. We tried government-run healthcare, at least partially, here. And the New York Times just a few days ago, October 30th, 2026, the New York Times, not the New York Post. Obamacare, yet another blow as premiums rise again. The government's so good at this healthcare business. Folks, it is not about cost. They don't care. It is about control. Folks, these people are crazy. I've been warning you. I am I'm telling you, I'm gonna dedicate the next couple years.
The presidential cycle's already started. You already saw it yesterday. The presidential cycle has already started. I anticipate Ron DeSantis gonna throw his name in the ring. Obviously, the vice president, probably Ted Cruz. There's other names floating out there. Um, Hegseth, Rubio floating. They're not floating their own names. I think Rubio's been pretty clear. We don't know who's gonna run. I'm just telling you, presidential election season started yesterday. Yesterday. Yes, yesterday. I bring that up because the Democrat primary is going to be a complete mob scene of lunatics.
You are gonna see so many people from AOC on down throw their names. And it is going to be a race to the bottom of who can destroy the United States more. One of the most dangerous people in Congress I will never let you forget about 'cause the guy's a complete clown and one of the biggest frauds out there is this Ro Khanna. He again, he goes on cable news and conservative networks and Fox and elsewhere, and he pretends to be this moderate guy. He is a freaking lunatic.
Here, you need more proof? Here he is on a left wing outlet yesterday saying, like, "Hey, we should embrace Hassan Piker." Hassan Piker, are you crazy? The guy who's, like, tweeting insanity who seems to, like, sympathize with the freaking bad guys. Like, this is the guy we're gonna embrace? Check this out.
You know, as I was leaving the, the, the place with House Democrats, they said to me, "Roe, you're going on Hassan Piker's show?" I said, "Yes, I'm going on Hassan Piker's show." And you would think after this, uh, showing around the country, more people would say, "Yeah, you know what? We may not agree with him on everything, but, uh, yeah, he's got a huge following. Uh, he's been clear, uh, against the war in Iran. He's been clear about the genocide in Gaza. Uh, the young people and people across the country, uh, uh, are resonating with things that he's saying about the war. Uh, yeah, maybe we should engage."
But so far, that awakening, uh, has not happened. We'll see.
Do you feel like there is a real shift happening in the Democratic Party?
I do. Uh, but, you know, it's not gonna be overnight.
Folks, and, and this Piker, my message to you, nobody's scared of you, man. You're goofy, like, rich guy, fake I'm one of the boys, Jenny from the block routine. You're a chump, a coward. There's nothing you're gonna do to anyone. You're like a bow-tie-wearing loser. You're probably 120 pounds soaking wet. Zero people in the conservative MAGA movement are scared of you. What did you tweet out? Something like, "We're going to jail." Whatever, bro. You heard me address this earlier.
Do you see this clown? Piker. I mean, this is the kind of guy that I'm sorry to say it. It's like the Carrey situation. You know, I don't like Stephen King that much, but I wrote a book report once in high school on Carrey, and they, like, made this was Hassan Piker. They, like, make fun of him. He's the guy they pour the pig's blood on him on the stage, and he doesn't have the telekinetic powers. He just starts screaming, "Ah, you're all going to jail." I mean, like, like, we're no, everybody's laughing at you. Freaking buffoon.
And then Ro Khanna. We should embrace Hassan Piker. There you go. There's your moderate Ro Khanna. Folks, I'm gonna address this more in detail tomorrow 'cause I wanna get to Hans Vons Spikowski. It's important. This is an you wanna talk about the Save Act, free and fair elections, and what may be going on with the pollution of voter registration pools. This is gonna be your PhD course in the next 20 minutes. But I just wanna address this quickly. We're gonna call this segment the filibuster in Florida, and I'll go into it in a little more detail tomorrow 'cause I don't wanna rush it.
The argument against scrapping the filibuster, which the Democrats are gonna do now, and now we gotta stop them 'cause we didn't do it first. The argument I see in the media a lot is that it would whipsaw the country. In other words, Republicans would take back the House and Senate, the presidency, and there'd be massive policy shifts, and we need, like, stability or something. That is a faux argument because the Democrats get what they want always. And because we're afraid to change things, we get almost nothing.
We get a tax cut bill once in a while. The Democrats get Obamacare. They nearly got the Pro Act. They nearly got HR1. But they've gotten a lot of stuff. They've got screwed up permitting processes through. The Democrats get almost their entire agenda when they're in charge. The Republicans up on the Hill are afraid, especially the old establishment ones. So the argument about a whipsaw is not true. The Democrats moved the needle, and we never move it back. We all we get is, like, tax cut stuff.
Thank God the president took executive action on the border, on crime, regulatory reform, and elsewhere because Capitol Hill was basically a zero. So your whipsaw argument with the filibuster is a silly one. What does a filibuster have to do with Florida? Folks, the reason voters are confused in this election is because they think both parties are part of a mess because there's never a both parties. There's just a one-party thing. Bad things happen, and they don't see anybody stopping it.
If we had simple majorities in the House and Senate and scrapped the filibuster, we wouldn't have this problem. You would see what's happening in Florida. Why did Florida withstand the left-wing assault in this election? Because Florida has unified Republican supermajority control and was able to do everything it wanted. Cut property taxes, cut taxes, dump stupid government regulations, constitutional carry, and people love it.
Voters see no difference because there is no difference with the exception of this White House that was dramatically different and used the executive power to move the needle. Had to Capitol Hill for a big, beautiful bill, which they contributed to 'cause we gotta give a realistic approach. No one takes responsibility, though, because you're not able to show the public nationally this is what conservative policies look like because we're respecting this arcane filibuster rule that allows the Democrats to basically stop everything we do all the time.
That whipsaw argument's a stupid one, and you can debate me all day on it. Fine. You're entitled to your opinion. I'm entitled to mine. Right. We've got Hans Vons Spikowski coming up again. You want a quick PhD course in voter fraud, election integrity? You're about to get it. Uh, uh, first we have a winner. We have what is this? Week 14, Justin. Winner from week 14 from our comment of the day. If you join our rumble.com livestream every day at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, uh, we pick your comment. You enter into a pool weekly. We pick a winner out of that. You'll get $1,776.
You can see the official rules at bongino.com/1776. Fireworks in the studio. Turn off the fire suppression system. Send a pote. People will forgive you for being wrong. They will never forgive you for being right when they were wrong. Correct. Congratulations. You are now $1,776 richer. Uh, great job there. Our comment of the day today is I have not seen this one yet. Obviously, you saw that one last week. Spider 3 M88.
Don't Texas our Florida. Please, please do not. Yes. Thank you. Please do not do that. Florida, we're gonna start instituting border controls and looking at, like, can we institute a state passport system? No, liberals. We don't want you here. Stay out of Florida. All right. Quick break. We're gonna get to our voter fraud, voter integrity interview, which you're gonna love. Chapter advisory, folks. It's Medicare's annual enrollment period right now. It's the one time of the year you can make changes to your Medicare coverage. I know you get all the sales calls and the mailers.
It's easy to get overwhelmed and throw your hands up, but stay with me on this one. 70% of people on Medicare never compare their options. They just let it ride. I get it. Medicare's confusing. Uh, my wife's mother had questions. My mother-in-law had nobody to talk to. Every call turned into a sales pitch. It got a little confusing. Letting it ride's a mistake. Your plan next year can look very different from this year, and you could be left without the coverage you need when you need it most. I sent my mother-in-law over to Chapter. They were amazing. Chapter's advisors are one of the only Medicare advisors that compare every plan nationwide. They're independent.
They're honest, and they were not paid to push one plan over another. It's important. They answered every question for us in plain English. They were great. Chapter's advisors. All this help is free, by the way. Takes about 20 minutes or less. Call Chapter. Call Chapter today at 667. Chapter. That's 667. Chapter. Don't be the 70%. Welcoming to the show, Hans Vons Spikowski.
Hans and I are, uh, old friends. I would tell him on my radio show a lot. You wanna talk about an expert in voter integrity, voter measures around the country. Uh, he's with Advancing American Freedom. Hans, I, I couldn't think of anyone better after, uh, I mean, a drubbing. There's no doubt about that in the Republican side, uh, to talk about, um, than you. So I just wanna start off here. Uh, the, you know, I mentioned earlier the numbers in Texas in the Texas Senate and governor's race were, uh, uh, extraordinary for the Democrats. And I mean in that extraordinary. They had basically presidential level turnout plus, um, in a midterm.
Texas has a pretty stable system. Uh, just some general thoughts on that atmospherics-wise 'cause people out there after 2020 with the mail-in balloting fiasco, just they generally don't trust our fragmented national voting system.
Well, yeah, but, but look, the under the system that we have, uh, states are largely responsible for the election rules in, in, in their states. And some of them do it horribly, like California. But think about if the national government was, uh, running elections and with Democrats controlling Congress, uh, think about what they would do. They would basically export the California system and force it onto states all over the country.
And we know that. We know that, Dan, because remember when, when Pelosi, uh, was in the House, they introduced a bill called HR1 that, for example, would have banned voter ID laws across the country. Yeah, California doesn't have a, a voter ID law, but a lot of other states like Georgia, uh, uh, Florida, Texas do. And this would have outlawed that and made all kinds of other changes, putting in all the things that have made California one of the worst states for election security in the country.
So, Hans, if, if I'm correctly summing up in an abstract here, the argument you're making is be careful what you ask for 'cause you may get it. Like, if we were to have a national set of rules, we're assuming they would be conservative rules, but that assumption may be faulty. You may get a national set of rules that codifies mail-in balloting, ballot harvesting, uh, forbids voter ID, uh, allows registration systems for non-citizens. Like, is, is that where 'cause that's it's an interesting answer.
I haven't heard that from a lot of other conservatives.
Uh, all of the just about all those things were in HR1. And, and remember, the Democratically controlled House passed that bill, and the Democratically controlled Senate, the only reason it was stopped there was, uh, because Republicans filibustered the bill. So, uh, like I said, yeah, we have a fragmented system, but many states, uh, mo almost all red states have actually improved the system.
And let's not forget that in the election disaster that occurred on Tuesday, um, five states, for example, even states where, uh, Democrats won, uh, voters approved referenda, for example, saying you have to be a citizen to vote in our state, uh, elections. And in three states, uh, referenda were approved putting in voter ID requirements. So it, it was kind of a split.
Yeah, Republicans lost lots of elections, but a lot of, uh, referenda were passed that, that actually improved things.
We're talking to Hans Vons Spikowski from Advancing American Freedom. Hans, I, I discussed that yesterday on the program. Uh, you know, I, I said it seems like the there's a large swath of the electorate that voted for simply crazy ideas. Socialism is beyond crazy. In fact, it's deadly. But then some of the same people split-ticketed their vote and voted for conservative principles like election integrity. So it was a very odd national environment in that respect. You, you are I use, I use your material.
I shouldn't say use to 'cause I still do. I use your material on voter fraud, um, all the time. And you can look it up, folks. It's all over the, the web. Hans Vons Spikowski's work on election integrity. Uh, the data backs it up. The Democrat argument has always been it's shifted a little bit after the New Jersey fiasco with registering people who aren't eligible. But the argument used to be, Hans, voter fraud is basically nonexistent. And then it was, okay, it's existent, but it's not really impacting elections. And then after New Jersey was, well, it's impacting elections, but it's localized, and we're gonna fix it.
You've been covering this for decades now. How prevalent is voter fraud? And there's a counterfactual argument here too. How prevalent is it given that a lot of it we may not even have we don't know what we don't know. People just might have gotten away with it.
Right. Look, that's particularly true in, in California. If you have no voter ID requirement, if you don't verify citizenship, how are you gonna know that you, that you have fraudulent voting going on? What we do know is it happens often enough that we should take, uh, security precautions against it. I mean, just to take the idea of aliens registering and voting. The left for a long time denied that was happening. But once some red states started getting access, for example, to the SAVE database, that's the database at the Department of Homeland Security that they can check to verify citizenship, they started finding thousands, thousands of aliens on the voter rolls.
Um, a couple of years ago, uh, an organization that I know of in Virginia, uh, sent a simple request to county registrars and said, uh, we want the files on every registered voter who sent you a letter saying, "Oops, please take me off the rolls 'cause I'm not a US citizen." Uh, they got over 5,000 replies in the state of Virginia. Yeah, we're a big state, but, uh, we have elections all the time all over the country that are decided by very small numbers of votes.
Hans, you've got the Mississippi Senate race still undecided. Last time I checked, it was, what, 65 votes? I mean, that's, that's not an argument we gotta make a hypothetical about. Didn't Marianne Miller Meeks win her seat by, like, 14 votes? It and I mean, this is not even it's not even unusual. It's not it if, if it's one out of, I don't know, 500 races, you have 435 House seats. If it was even that low, that means in every cycle, roughly one person could win by a sliver.
So I, I hate that argument. O-one quick thing I wanted to note because you mentioned the SAVE database. Can you just, uh, briefly explain to the audience that's not the SAVE Act is a different thing, folks. The SAVE database is a way to cross-reference voter rolls to make sure that these people are eligible. Can you just explain that quick 'cause this is a big, big thing right now.
Right. And look, the SAVE database isn't something new created by Donald Trump. It's been in existence for four decades. It was created by Congress so that state welfare agencies could actually check if somebody was applying for public assistance funded by the feds, they had to be a US citizen. So they set up this database for state agencies. It was the Trump administration came in and said, "Oh, you know, uh, we should make this available to state election officials also."
And that's when all these states who had never, ever complained about inaccuracies suddenly started suing places like California and saying, "Oh, no, no, no. We don't wanna access that database, and nobody else should be able to access it either."
You know, Hans, what bothers me the most about this is if you allow people, ineligible non-American citizens, to vote in federal elections, they essentially cancel out your vote. I mean, your vote is then wiped out. I mean, it's like a one-for-one swipe. It's a zero-sum game. If I vote Republican and you vote Democrat, there's no winner. Like, they cancel each other out. So that, uh, is a huge problem. And, you know, this is why I've been a big advocate, you know, for, for the SAVE Act and voter integrity measures around the country 'cause I've said often, which I know you understand, studying the issue deeply, the Constitution, Hans, is not, you know, it's not what the left it's not a living, breathing document.
It's a piece of parchment. It's the greatest piece of parchment for governing I've ever seen, but it's just an agreement. It's a contract. It's like a contract with a contractor. If he says, "Hey, I signed this thing. I'm gonna build your house," and it doesn't build your house, you have no house. You can flash the paper all you want. He's not building your house. He doesn't like you. He doesn't care if you sue him. So the thing is, like, if we don't have faith in the system, the system fidelity to that system, it falls apart and collapses. It's like pulling a string. That's what worries me the most about ballot harvesting and mail-in balloting.
Anyone with common sense knows. You show up, you show a voter ID to an election official. It's re it's not impossible, but it's hard to fake that. You gotta get a fake ID. You gotta you're probably on a camera somewhere. It's not a good thing. If you get a mail-in ballot at your house and some ballot harvester comes and picks it up, you have no idea who filled that out. Someone said to me once, "It's not votes that win an election in states like that. It's ballots." There's not the same thing.
Oh, no, you're absolutely right. And in fact, look, look, uh, in 2008, when the US Supreme Court upheld, uh, Indiana's voter ID law as constitutional, they specifically said, uh, ensuring public confidence in the integrity of elections is very important because that affects turnout. And all the opposition to things like voter ID, proof of citizenship by the left, they always make the false claim that, "Oh, this is gonna hurt turnout."
The opposite, Dan, has happened. Every state that's put in a voter ID law and we now have 20 years' worth of turnout data, for example, from Georgia and Indiana, uh, it, it turnout increases. Why? Because the public's confidence and the honesty of the election increases.
We're talking to Hans Vons Spikowski, senior legal fellow at Advancing American Freedom and, uh, re I hate the term expert 'cause the left has destroyed it, but an actual expert on voter integrity. Yeah, you know, the left. Everybody's an expert on the left. Uh, that's what drives me bananas about the left, Hans. And, you know, in the new AI ecosystem we live with, I think this is what liberals and progressives are worried about. They're not worried about AI lying to you. They're worried about AI telling you the truth. Any voter out there, if you're watching me and Hans and you're a big liberal and you don't like either of us or what we're saying, fine.
You're you have every right to not like me. I'm glad you're here, though, because I'm gonna ask you to do a little exercise. Do a little exercise. What Hans just said, you can back up by the facts. After voter ID measures were passed in Georgia, they boycotted the Major League All-Star game and elsewhere, they have two Democratic senators and just elected a Democrat governor. Neither me nor you are probably happy about that. But those are just the facts. If voter ID was stopping Democrats from showing up in the polls, how the hell did Ossoff just win by 20 points? Like, do you understand how stupid that sounds?
Well, no, abs absolutely correct. Oh, and by the way, uh, Indiana, you know, had its first voter ID law in place in 2008. And guess who won that state? First Democrat, uh, to win the state in the presidential race in, like, 30 years, Barack Obama.
It's, it's really shameful. And, and, and Hans, just candidly, I, I, I can make a very strong case to you. It's one of the most racist arguments a progressive or, or could make. The, the argument that somehow Black and Hispanic Americans, uh, are, are unable to figure out how to acquire an ID is one on its face laughable, but it's not funny. It's a racist argument. Why? What, what, what are you making? Some kind of IQ argument, some aptitude argument, some achievement article about Black Americans speaking in the collective?
If, if I were a Black or Hispanic American, and my wife is an you know, is an immigrant here from Columbia, she doesn't wanna be talked down to like that. She was a high-end executive in, in, you know, in the city when I met her. You think she wants to be talked to like an idiot? Oh, look at you, Hispanic people. You don't know how to get an ID. It's racist on its face.
It, it is. It's patronizingly racist. And by the way, during the Obama administration, when they their his Justice Department was attacking North Carolina's voter ID law, they actually brought in an expert who testified to that very thing. Their DOJ's expert claimed that Black North Carolinians weren't as capable as whites of getting an ID, if you can believe that.
I unfortunately, uh, I can. It's an obscene, absurd, ridiculous argument. And the reason I asked that first because the left has used this racism cudgel, uh, against the Republican Party for eons. I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's false. It's absurd. It's ridiculous. Uh, I mean, it really we just elected, you know, Byron Donald. Barack Obama was the president twice. Like, just stop the nonsense. It's ridiculous, stupid, and obscene. Um, but one of the things that bothers me is the Democrats have used this argument against the Republican Party when it comes to this demographic destiny thing.
I bring this up on my show all the time. The Democrats have a long-term strategy to use unfettered illegal immigration. They've actually talked about it. Uh, this there's a congresswoman in New York, uh, Yvette. I forget her last name. But she actually said this. She said, "Listen, I'm losing people in my New York district. They're moving out of New York." So as the congressional districts shrink, you if you you don't have about 700,000 people, your district may get wiped out over time in the in the, uh, census count and the redistricting. So she said, "Listen, we need people."
And basically, if they're illegals, like, we'll take them from wherever. And then when we mention it as Republicans, we say, "Hey, that doesn't sound fair. Like, because of your terrible governance in blue states and you're losing actual American citizens, you want people to break the law to backfill people so you don't lose electoral college votes and congress, uh, seats in Congress." And then they say, "Oh, you guys are racist bringing up replacement theory." Hans, I always it's not our theory. It's your reality. You guys talk about it all the time.
No, that is absolutely correct. And that explains two things. Why, uh, blue states have fought tooth and nail to prevent, uh, checking whether they're registered voters or aliens or not. And they have fought tooth and nail against changing the US census and apportionment. They want aliens included in apportionment. Why? Because the more aliens they have, particularly the more illegal aliens they have in their state, the more representatives in the US House they have.
If we based apportionment on the citizen population of the US, California would probably lose between four and five seats in the US House. New York would lose a seat. Illinois would lose a seat. That is why they are fighting any effort to find, investigate, prosecute aliens who are registering and voting.
We're talking to Hans Vons Spikowski from Advancing American Freedom. Hans, the, the genesis of a lot of this and the destruction, I think, of free and fair elections in, in some states around the country. Some of I think Florida runs a pretty clean system. I live down here. Uh, they do a really great job. But the genesis of it was voter-voter, um, in I, I believe the Clinton era. Registering people there without proper checks has led to a, a, a boatload of problems. Uh, can you just explain to quickly, like, the background behind that and how this could lead to issues?
Yeah. The problem with the National Voter Registration Act was that it basically told states, "You can no longer require an ID from someone when they register to vote." They, they changed our registration system into an honor system. So if you fill out a one-page form, which is what it what the federal form is, and you lie and say, "Oh, I'm a US citizen," you'll get registered to vote in every state across the country. That's why states, at least red states, have been trying to put in proof of citizenship requirements, which, like, like I said, liberals are very much opposed to.
And, and they are opposed to it. I read an article years ago, and forgive me, I think it was National Review. And I've been looking for it. These poor guys, I've had them searching for it, uh, for weeks, and we can't find it. But, uh, 'cause I like to credit people. But the gist of the article was, yes, mail-in balloting and ballot harvesting are a huge problem. But the real problem, the genesis of chapter one in the book of destroying free and fair elections is destroying the registration system. And the argument the author of the piece made was, you know, if you go to fish in a pond or a lake or whatever, you wanna fish in a lake or a pond with a ton of fish, correct?
It's not hard to figure out. If there's one fish, you're gonna be sitting there all day trying to catch the fish. If you've got millions of fish in a pond, you're just gonna be sitting there all day pulling them out. So the Democrats understood a long time ago that if you can pack that pond full of registered voters, legal, illegal, eligible, ineligible, even if 10% of them show up, you're still dealing with 10% of a million rather than, you know, 10% of 10, which is one. So it's a math problem when you screw up the registration thing for the Republican Party.
No, that is exactly right. And look, it's not just aliens on the voter rolls, but the system we have now makes it very easy for people to register in more than one state and to vote, vote twice. Um, there was a report just out from the Public Interest Legal Foundation in Virginia. They, they took three states, uh, compared their voter rolls with nine states total and found, what, 130,000 people registered to vote in two different states.
And, uh, they can vote in both states. And will they get caught? The chances of that are pretty nil.
That's the pro that's the counterfactual problem we discussed in the beginning of the interview. You don't you know, Donald Rumsfeld, unknown, unknown. You don't know what you don't know. If you didn't get caught, you don't know about it. So, you know, putting a number on voter fraud, yes, you have a library of material on documented cases. Uh, the administration now is prosecuting, uh, a boatload of people. I covered it on my show. But we still don't know about the ones that it's like the gotaway problem with immigration. Is it 20 million? Is it 10 million? Is it 2 million? We don't know because we don't know they got away. Hans, that was, uh, a really great interview. I know the audience is gonna appreciate your insights.
And, uh, we'd love to have you back, uh, anytime. So thanks so much for joining us.
Uh, always happy to talk to you. Thanks.
Yes, sir. Hans Vons Spikowski, folks, from Advancing American Freedom. Like I said, he if you look him up in his material online, he has a library of material and evidence of voter fraud. Not that you even need to see it. Just in the last few weeks, we've covered arrests for actual voter fraud where people have had to go and swear in front of a judge, federal agents, "This individual committed voter fraud." Think they're gonna get fired from their job making it up? Pick Joey Bega Donuts out, "Ah, let's just accuse this guy of voter fraud. Put my career in line." No. That's not the way any of this happened.
