In this episode of I've Had It, hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan react to the fallout from the midterm elections, reported White House leaks against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and talk of his possible replacement, including Ron DeSantis. They discuss impeachment efforts, the role of Senate Republicans, and abortion policy in Texas after the new attorney general's comments on out-of-state abortion pill providers.
The hosts also criticize Fox News coverage and its ratings. Their views are sharply partisan and opinionated, so listeners get a strongly critical take on current political news rather than neutral reporting.

Okay, in all of the basking in the blue Nami and just the absolute repudiation of MAGA, I've been remiss in going to one of our favorite pastime spots, which is just browbeating the ever-living shit out of Kankel's McTaco Tits, the lame duck, lame dementia duck president, and his mood has shifted post-election. Let's pop this up: Trump, quote, "paralyzed by fury."
That's a shift. All right, let me start over there.
That's a shift.
Paralyzed by fury? Like, that's a fucking Tuesday in America. All right, let me start over there. Trump, paralyzed by fury as he hides in private residence and refuses to see anyone, considers perching Suzy Wiles and Marco Rubio. Daily Mail, do it.
Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Fire them all. Do it. It is really—I'm so used to it now, I'm not going to say it's surprising or shocking, but his ability to take a shit over everything in his wake and then act like he didn't do anything, "Oh, it wasn't me." His ability to deny accountability and deny reality is something I think we need studies on, because this man, he picked the candidates.
He got us to war. He was raging over Liberation Day, and now it's everybody fucking else's fault? Are you kidding me?
This is his playbook. This is not new.
This is who he is, guys.
But this is also who his supporters are. We've covered the psychology of this. We don't need to study this. These are short-sighted, unevolved people. These are intellectually unevolved human beings. These are emotionally stunted human beings. These are people—he's a complete failed son who's had everything handed to him his entire life. He's never faced accountability, ever. Of course he has zero coping skills with this. Of course he's in the fetal, having Natalie Harp bring him French fries and ketchups for him to sling around in his bed as he sits there with his little chubby fingers eating fish fillets and Big Macs to soothe himself.
I'm describing here the actual president of the United States, and for a lot of Americans, they're like, "Yeah, this is our best foot forward." And that's what lives on after him. Biology will take care of him.
It's hard to have.
The rot that he has exposed in American culture. He didn't rot these people. He exposed this rot of unevolved, emotionally stunted Americans that are bigoted as a default setting, entitled, and that put the "me first" bullshit instead of the "country first." Moving along. So you guys, the cannibalism.
So good.
We've been waiting for this. Okay, Suzy Wiles is trying to sink Pete Hegseth, and I say, "Suzy, do it." Pop this up. Exclusive. According to a senior White House official, Suzy Wiles and top White House aides are leaking damaging information about Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to the media. They intend to scapegoat Hegseth for the Republican Party's devastating midterm defeat in an effort to save themselves.
Suzy Wiles understands that the base wants to see a high-level firing, but she intends for it not to be her. This is despite Suzy having handpicked the majority of the Republican Senate candidates and lying to Trump about the polling in the weeks leading up to the election. Suzy Wiles is chiefly responsible for yesterday's catastrophic loss. And I just want to say, Suzy's loss is my gain.
Yes.
I absolutely—each painful loss that she had, I get to celebrate twofold. I get to celebrate that a decent person won, but I also get to celebrate this bonus of the pain that they feel. So it's compound celebration. That's what's so good about it. I'm celebrating goodness winning and the pain they have over losing. And so it's just high times over here on I've Had It podcast.
You know what was interesting about that is, you know, White House exclusive, you know, an exclusive leak from the White House. The minute I saw the reporting that Pete Hegseth's wife was taking money from a defense contracting firm that he gave the contract to, I was like, "This came from the White House." Like, I don't need it. Source inside. I knew immediately. And here's the thing, because I am absolutely hate myself, I've been watching Fox News intermittently.
Oh, me too. It's fabulous.
It's fabulous. But they're running around blaming Suzy Wiles like crazy. So I think this is absolutely—she's trying to save herself, but here's the deal, Suzy. I don't think you can.
Hallo? Dein Rücken hier. Mir reicht's. Noch länger sitzen und ich streike.
Du kannst dir jetzt gut tun. Mit der App TK Coach sofort in Bewegung kommen. Viel besser. Auch für Nicht-TK-Kunden vier Wochen kostenlos. Die Techniker. Immer besser. Für dich.
Now, we were on Fox last night.
Oh, delicious.
Yeah, yeah. And I just, again, I want to welcome all the Fox producers. I'm sorry, I heard about your ratings. I heard y'all are down like 30%. That's a bummer. Also, that billion dollars you had to pay for lying to your audience. That's embarrassing. Also, what every—all the on-air talent said about Trump behind his back, humiliating, exposing them as hypocrites. But we welcome the Fox. Welcome, losers. Welcome, Fox News losers. Welcome. Welcome, Jesse. I hope that you are able to air this and talk about your crush on Abdullah Al-Sayyed, because I saw that with my very own eyes.
All right, moving along. The Pete Hegseth impeachment could be coming, and I think that we're setting this out. And as Pumps said, you know, she's seeing all this stuff leaking like a sieve, and we know it's from the White House. Pop this up. Representative Thomas Massey of Kentucky, the famously anti-Trump GOP lawmaker, told CNN he plans to trigger a vote to impeach Hegseth when Congress returns next week. And multiple GOP sources said they expect it to pass. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Fire Suzy.
Fire Marco. Impeach Pete. Do it. Do all of it. Tear it all up. I love it. We'll cover it. It's great for our ratings. Do it. It's more shit us celebrating this, all the MAGA tears, more clips for Fox.
You know, here's the thing about Pete Hegseth. He is so dumb. He is so incompetent. He is such a cruel, religious zealot, hypocrite, fuck daddy, douchebag, that all of this testosterone in the world could not save him from himself, because he is a dumbass. It is documented. He has fired people smarter than him on purpose. He has taken away people that have earned important positions in the military, and he has bent over and gotten fucked in this war so hard.
And here's the thing, I was hearing about this before. I was hearing about this after. Mike Johnson got rid of Congress because he didn't want to hear about the impeachment. So as much as I would love an impeachment, which, you know, bouncing around last night on different places, it doesn't sound like the Republicans would save him. So I'm hopeful for that, but here's what my prediction is, and see what you think. I think he's going to resign first to avoid the humiliation, because, again, last night I heard all about his presidential aspirations and that if he is no longer the Secretary of Defense, he's going to be appointed in Tennessee as a senator.
So I'm just waiting for all this to happen, because Pete Hegseth, you've got to have a reckoning and some accountability.
Yes. And I will never forgive Pete Hegseth for the abject racism he brought to the United States military and firing people simply because they're Black, reporting shows. Firing people simply because they're female, reporting shows, for being outright homophobic in military speeches, for denying trans service members who have served their country and found a profession of pride in the United States military because you're a transphobic piece of shit.
I will never forgive that. And the stink of all this MAGA stuff should follow everyone around forever. And that includes, obviously, the loud MAGA people like him. That's easy to attach all the stink to them. But the people I want to make sure we don't neglect are these Republicans like the current Senate Majority Leader, Senator Thing.
Absolutely.
Him trying to have it both ways, placating to MAGA, watching all of this racism, watching the corruption, watching all of this stuff, and then saying, "Oh, but I'm a serious conservative Republican." No, no, no, no, no. You're worse to me. At least I can see Pete Hegseth as mentally unstable, emotionally stunted, incapable of seeing anything except for his own sixth-grade impulses. I can pretty much deduce that as an armchair psychologist. The people who are trying to now that are going to try to, "Oh, we need to return to the party of Reagan," and it's coming.
Oh, it's coming, and it will be nauseating. I hold Senator Thune more accountable for all of this than I do these emotionally stunted idiots that executed all this, because it's clear to me that these people are not operating on all cylinders. And the adults in the Republican Party could have stopped it. And they chose to be toddlers, and they chose to be cowards. And those are the people that I hold the most accountable, and we need to make sure we put that MAGA stink and that MAGA enabling on them forever.
And I think he's from South Dakota. I mean, hell, we turned Mississippi blue. Let's start gunning for South Dakota. Unseating. All right, moving along. White House insiders are floating Hegseth's replacement. So this story has legs.
Yeah, for sure.
All sorts of legs. Pop this up. CBS News Jennifer Jacobs reports that Ron DeSantis is being floated as a possible replacement for Pete Hegseth under one scenario. DeSantis could be confirmed by the Senate during the lame duck session and take over as Secretary of Defense when his term as Florida Governor ends January 5th. And my thing on this is, I don't know if he'll do this or not. He's really—he is already distancing himself a day late and a dollar short, in my opinion, from all this MAGA stink. And he started like he saw the polls, and he started like the day before to kind of go, "Oh, I want to do it right before the blue tsunami."
And now he's continuing all of this. He's one of these, "I found Jesus again. I'm getting re-baptized. You know, I'm getting re-saved." All this bullshit that these people do. And so I don't know that he'll do it, and they can float him all they want to, but I think it's interesting that they're trying to get him. This is what Trump likes to do. He likes to own people. And he sees DeSantis going rogue, and he sees DeSantis not worshiping him, and he sees DeSantis not being loyal. And Trump's instinct is, "Go grab him.
Come make him heal. Come make him bend the knee to me." And so this, I think they're floating him, but we'll see if Governor Kittenhills goes along with it.
You know, I think you're 100% right on that. I think that Ron DeSantis is looking at 2028. And in my opinion, when you look at Trump's 2.0, I mean, there's corruption, fraud, all that. But this war and how it was handled, this is going to be a stink that's both domestic and international for many, many years. And I just don't know. I mean, everybody's trying to separate themselves from it. So why would he jump his ass in it? I don't know. It'll be interesting.
I agree. That seems to be the normal thing that I would think, but people in the MAGA orbit are always so shockingly stupid and make the worst decisions. And that is always consistent. So who knows? I think that he—I don't think he's ever really liked Trump. I think he wants to be the heir apparent of the MAGA party. He looks in the mirror and he's like, "President DeSantis. You know, you got it, brother." You know, delusions of grandeur. Okay. The next one is, this is huge, and this is an issue that is so important to Pumps and me.
What happens in the Bible Belts? What the Republican Party has done to the Bible Belt is unforgivable. But Texas is now a blue state, and the new Texas AG signals progress for women's reproductive rights in the state. Pop this up. Attorney General-elect Nathan Johnson says he won't sue out-of-state doctors who mail abortion pills to Texas. And so I know that for our international listeners, you're thinking, "You have to celebrate that."
Right.
And yes, we shouldn't have to celebrate something like that, but the attack on women and the attack on victims of sexual assault from white Christian Bible Belt MAGA men has been incredibly successful. And they have successfully killed women, and they have successfully silenced victims of rape and victims of sexual assault. And their policies have given rapists and sexual assaulters more rights than women. And they have been doing this long before Trump came around.
The march for this has been decades in the making. And this is all the reason that the Democratic Party needs to go in, stay in Texas, put up blue flags everywhere, and do the work in that state to start educating rural areas and start turning them purple. Cities are going to stay blue because people that live around people of different colors tend to not be fucking assholes. But you need to get to rural America and explain to these rural Americans, "The Republican Party has lied to you.
They've taken your faith and weaponized it against you. Wealth never trickled down. And they are killing women. They are making sure your children, so many places in Texas and in Oklahoma, these MAGA Christians only send kids to school four days a week because they can't afford five. But we can afford to send bombs to Israel to kill other kids there." I'm starting to think that MAGA politicians don't like kids.
Well, what have they done to protect children? What have they done to foster families? They're all pro-family unless you need childcare, unless you need days off work because your kid's sick. Here's the thing with this new AG. There are more things he can do, and I hope that he does, because something that has always struck me is that traveling, if you are a pregnant woman and you are traveling out of state on the highway, troopers are looking for you. They want to find out where you're going because they have criminalized a woman's right to choose.
And they have shown the intent of taking women and criminalizing their behavior and putting them in jail for not wanting to die if a child is, you know, a dead fetus is rotting inside their body.
Right. And whatever the reason, it sure as fuck isn't Governor Hotwheel's business or Ted Cruz's business.
Kevin Smith's business.
These weirdo men that are so consumed with a female's OB-GYN appointments, but these are the same people that are also completely consumed with gay sex and trans people. So, I mean, these people have weird, weird thoughts around genitalia and doctor's visits and the love lives of their fellow Americans. All right, finally, Jesse Watters is melting down. Play the bit.
I love that.
American people, young men, white Americans said, "Screw you to Donald Trump." Said, "Screw you to the Republican Party in places in the Deep South, in the Midwest."
What I'm saying is this happens.
And that's not just something that happens all of the time. That's a problem that the Republicans have. And the people are saying, "Yo, yo, you screwed up. Do something about it." And to say it's like, you know, every two years back and forth, they voted for Tallafrico, man. They voted for Abdul Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. I mean, no one can really wrap their head around that.
Okay, stop it right there. Jesse, the reason that they voted for Tallafrico and Abdul Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah is because they don't like bigots. That's the difference between you and all of those white vote, the younger men. The bros fear, as soon as they got into it, then they started realizing like, "Oh, Andrew Tate," and they're calling straight sex gay. They're saying, "If you have straight sex, that's the gayest thing you can do." And then Donald Trump starts talking about John Husted's ass, and then they see them just demeaning women, demeaning gay people.
It all was a facade of this unevolved masculinity. And it backfired. And it backfired spectacularly. And the more you sit there and call James Tallafico, James Tallafrico, the more it confirms that they did the right thing. The more you throw off Islamophobia at Abdul El-Sayyed, the more it confirms they don't want to be a party of bigotry because this younger generation has grown up with people in a very multicultural America, and they like it.
And some of their friends have names that are hard to pronounce. And some of us Gen Xers, when we grew up, you know, it was Angie Sullivan, you know? You know? But this younger generation are growing up with people of different color and of different names. And instead of being a dick about it, they learn how to pronounce their name properly and embrace these people as their friends. And multiculturalism is here to stay. And the more racist you are, Fox, the more it helps us. And the more racist you are, the more your ratings drop down.
And last time I checked, Jesse, you're down 30%. Three, zero. So if I'm Rupert in Lockland, I'm going to get out my chopping block and say, "I don't want these 30% loss. Who can we start chopping?" And they're going to start chopping. They're going to start chopping people, and they're going to completely rework this whole thing because MAGA's dead. The Fox News bullshit is dead. And I want to welcome again the Fox News producers. Thank you for watching.
People are all about democratized media, and nobody likes this racist shit. It's like it's old fucking weird shit. I mean, just sit around and be a racist for sport like you all are. It's just, it's really disgusting. And the American people find it absolutely appalling, except for the cultist, emotionally unevolved, emotionally stunted Fox News viewers that say, "I know you lie, and I know you had to pay a billion dollars. Lie to me more.
Inject the lies into my veins." Those are the people you're talking to.
Well, and I'll just add this because I agree with everything you said, but I saw the ratings from last night. Independent media crushed legacy media. So that's good news. The only coverage that beat or that Fox beat was CBS.
I saw that. Yeah. Barry Wise, congratulations.
Yes.
You're doing a bang-up job. You're really sucking to them. We're going to suck it to them. Over at CBS, we're going to suck it to them. Fucking freaks. All right, make sure you subscribe, comment, like, and we'll be back later with more news.
Everyone is on the chopping block for MAGA after blue wave.
