This episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast covers the Trump Justice Department's criminal complaint against former FBI Director James Comey, unsealed the same day his daughter Maurene Comey won a ruling ordering her reinstatement. The hosts discuss Trump's campaign appearances, his remarks on gas prices, and administration claims about the economy before the midterms.

They also cover recent elections in Brazil and Serbia, protests in Israel ahead of its vote, the Iran conflict, and Elon Musk's influence over social media. The hosts offer sharp criticism of these figures, which reflects their own opinions.

This episode's transcript on the Comey complaint and Trump's midterm discussion was made with HappyScribe's transcription service.

00:00:00

We've got a lot to discuss on this episode of the Midas Touch podcast. Donald Trump's loser tour across the country before the midterms continues. He's in good old Mississippi this evening as the MAGA Republicans are terrified of losing in what was once considered ruby red Mississippi. Donald Trump will play his greatest fascist hits, talking about men's asses, cognitive exams, why higher oil prices and higher diesel prices are great because he and his oligarch buds get rich, why the catastrophic war is amazing, why you should have data centers in your backyard, how everything is going incredible, how his popularity is 99% in Israel. And I'm sure he will make some grunting noises along the way, and maybe some facial gestures where he'll just go, oh, so I've just summarized what's going to take—

00:00:56

Any spicy number 2s, Ben?

00:00:57

We didn't miss much there. Across the world, there were a number of elections where democracy forces won. We'll talk about what happened in Brazil when President— thanks, Jordy— when President Lula defeated Donald Trump stooge Flávio Bolsonaro. Flávio Bolsonaro is already saying he refuses to concede. And the whole MAGA network of the Elon Musks and the Jason Millers and the Bannons are attacking Brazil already. The election was rigged and it's fake. And And apparently Bolsonaro claims that his passport has already been confiscated based on criminal investigations into his corruption. There's a major election in Israel tomorrow, or if you're listening to this on Tuesday, today, where Netanyahu is expected to lose. And we'll talk about what's going on there. There have actually been massive protests against him in Tel Aviv. Speaking of massive protests, there were massive protests in Belgrade, Serbia against the ruling party led by Vučić, who lost the parliamentary elections, and the Student List, who are responsible for these massive, massive protests. They ended up going on to win an important election in Serbia. We'll talk about that. Earlier today, Iran hosted the Mecca Pact countries in Tehran. Great work, Trump regime, with Operation Economic Outcast over there.

00:02:21

Tehran was hosting the defense minister of Saudi Arabia, the leader of Pakistan, the field Marshal Esi Munir. There was the Turkish top intelligence officer was there meeting with President Pazeshkian of Iran, the Foreign Minister Araghchi, and someone who we're seeing a lot more of, the top advisor to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khomeini, Mohsen Razai, was in the room as well. Following that meeting, President Pazeshkian took a trip to Moscow where he will be meeting with Putin in the next day or so, expanding Iran's cooperation with Russia. As Donald Trump says, there is nothing like that taking place. So you have all the Trump regime propagandists out there who are terrified that former President Obama is on the campaign trail. Obama's delivered incredible speeches so far in Ohio and Michigan. He'll be in Georgia a little bit later this week. Obama made a joke comparing the Oval Office to Saddam Hussein's palace meets the Cheesecake Factory, to which the Trump regime and their propagandists like, what? You don't like Cheesecake Factories? That's so America, man. He's saying he hates cheesecake. They're so out of touch. That's not, that's not what he said. And this is like what Fox is doing over and over.

00:03:39

It's the tan suit stuff. Pay close attention. This is their psyop, folks. They want to distract you. This is all part of their plan. It's what we at independent media need to alert you to. It's why we need that fire hose of truth to fight back against all of those psyops. Being run by the true globalists, are the MAGA Republican globalist network of authoritarians across all these different countries that are spewing propaganda and controlling the algorithms and actually running the media because everything they say is projection and confession. And I want to talk about the breaking news before we went live. The Trump regime filed this completely frivolous information. They didn't even get an indictment. They basically filed a felony complaint against James Comey, the former FBI director, and they filed it apparently under seal on October 5th, which was 10 years after the alleged act that they're saying was the crime. And they're saying that back on October 5th, 2016, that the FBI— and they don't really say he did it, but he said he must have been a part of it— leaked to the press that Yahoo, you know, like the media company Yahoo, was improving their security for election interference and trying to stop election interference and working with the FBI.

00:05:03

And they say that was a leak of classified information. And they said it also constitutes espionage so that the statute of limitations, which is normally 5 years, should be extended to 10 years. Although the statute regarding extending the statute of limitations for espionage says there has to be an indictment. Not an information or a complaint, and they didn't even get an indictment. It would take them 30 days to get an indictment from when they file an information. Usually you would just go and try to get the indictment, but obviously the case was so damn frivolous. In any event, this was all just unsealed the same day as James Comey's daughter, Maureen Comey, won her case against the Trump regime for her unlawful termination. The DOJ illegally fired her, it was determined, and she was ordered to be reinstated retroactively and receive back pay. In other words, we've got a lot to discuss. Brett and Jordy, good to see you.

00:06:06

Good to see you too. Oh my God, these people are—

00:06:09

Come on with that intro. Come on.

00:06:12

You're in for a treat this episode with that intro. We got a lot to talk about. I mean, a big pro-democracy weekend, a huge democracy success story, multiple democracy success stories over the weekend. Excited to speak about that. And this latest Trump scheme, man, you got to A White House official is going around, sir, sir, sir, sir, we are really struggling in the polls right now. The early data looks really bad. We need to do one move to try to show voters that we care about their concerns. What should we do, Mr. Trump? Mr. Trump, let's charge Comey. Let's charge Comey again. Let's— that's what the voters want. That's what the people want. You are seeing a failing regime right now in this country. And you could tell by just looking at the schedule that Donald Trump has in this final week before the midterm. Trump going to the liberal bastions, the, the swing states of Mississippi, of Texas, of Iowa, of Ohio, Florida, Montana, and Kansas. That's where Donald Trump is spending his time in his final moments. And I think that speaks volumes. Also, I got to say something about our audience here, brothers, the Midas Mighty, everybody listening, watching, everyone who reads the Substack, everybody out there.

00:07:23

I've determined, I've realized y'all are way smarter than me because I've been reading all your comments about the book WTF America. And thank Thank you so much for the big push you made over this weekend to everybody who's ordered it, to everybody who ordered the hardcover, to everybody who got the ebook, the audiobook, whichever way you're watching or you're reading or listening to it. Thank you so much. But the thing that really shocked me to my core, the people that said, I finished it already, I finished it the first day, I finished it in 2 days. And I go, do people really read this quickly? I got to step up my game. I'm very impressed. I'm so flattered by all the comments. Honestly, I am so humbled. And like, just, I feel so much gratitude, uh, for all of you in this community from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for all your support. That's enough talking about that for now, but order the book if you haven't yet. Jordy, what's the latest on your end?

00:08:16

Thank you guys so much. I just want to emphasize that one more time. And the other thing is, I think I've made good on my promise that I said last show, that if you posted a photo of you and the book or just the book from your social media account, that I would repost it, comment, and follow. And I think I've done that with every single person. There's there's been a lot of folks who have bought this thang thing. So thank you guys so much from the bottom of our hearts. It, it means the world. I want to do a callback to about 8 minutes ago when Ben was on like the 30-second mark of his introduction. We have a 4-hour— apparently we have a 4 and a half hour show tonight, brother. So I can't, I can't wait to get into all of it. But, uh, Ben, when I— am I on a delay right now? When I did the spicy 2 joke, you didn't— it didn't register like until like 20 seconds later. You said like, okay, thanks, Jordy. And I'm like, I'm now— I'm confused. Did he not hear the joke? So I just want to revisit that real quick.

00:09:03

No, you know, sometimes people are doing a job.

00:09:06

Yes.

00:09:06

And when they're doing a job, they're very focused on hitting the points that they want to get out. And when you're really meticulously detailing complex international developments and your younger brother says a spicy shit or a spicy number 2, it may register in your mind, but you may go, all right, let me just get through what I'm trying to get through so I don't, like, mess up live. And then I'll address that I heard it. So then I addressed that I heard it. Then I proceeded to give complex legal analysis, Jordy.

00:09:34

Well, thank you. And our audience thanks you for that. So with that, where do you want to start off today?

00:09:38

I do want to say this— Legal analysis and all the rest. Well, I do want to say this as well.

00:09:44

I think everybody knows by now that Elon Musk on X tried to suppress people from posting about WTF America. So when people were posting the COVID of the book on X, it would have an adult content warning where it would basically act like it was showing, I don't know, like nudity or like graphic content or something. Now, if you know X, because lots of people have left it, they have like the most disgusting content on it in general that isn't censored. But our book became a censored book on X. And so I think this is a theme we're going to be seeing a lot more of as the Trump regime gets desperate. And I really appreciate everybody also for working with us to fight back against it. Fortunately, there's a lot of other social media platforms and we get to speak directly to you in our podcast. So I think we keep on pushing back, but that's what they tried to do there. Remember, we were the first to break the story as well about how Meta took down the No Kings Instagram account, and then we brought attention to it. And then they claimed, oh, it was just a glitch.

00:10:52

It was just a glitch in the data centers. You don't know how it works. That's the thing that they keep on saying over and over and over again. Now, once they're caught suppressing content, suppressing pro-democracy content and trying to throttle what we the people are doing or throttle what Zelensky was doing to defend Ukraine, whatever it is, whether they go back to, right, oh, it's just a glitch, a glitch in the— you know, it's too complicated for— well, we'll figure it out. So just pay attention to that. Let's just get right into it and we can just show you just a sample of what these Trump— I don't want to show a lot of it, but what these Trump regime events look like. I don't even call them rallies. I mean, he speaks in front of these tiny crowds. They're utterly deranged. He keeps talking about ass over and over and over again, men's asses in particular. Although at the last one, he brought Nicki Minaj on stage and did what was obviously like sexual harassment. He's like, look at her ass, look what that ass looks like on Nicki Minaj. I just— it's so disturbing.

00:11:53

You know, Dr. Bandy Lee explained that we have a kind of national battered syndrome, she calls it. And so by corporate news and by others trying to normalize this behavior. It ends up basically trickling down when you try to accept and make excuses. It's why it's very important that we use moral clarity and precise language to always call out how deranged this behavior is. You know, corporate news wants to be like, you're being hyperbolic. You know what I mean? Hyperbolic. The guy's talking about asses for an entire speech and cognitive exams, and he's talking about, uh, you know, data centers being incredible, how popular he is in Israel and how great high prices are. It's not hyperbolic to call out a traitor as a traitor and to call out a fascist as a fascist and to call out somebody cognitively rotting before our eyes as such. So let me just show you a few examples. I don't want to show too much. This was Donald Trump examining John Eustace's ass, and then he groans, and then he says Nicki Minaj has a nice ass. Here, just show you quickly.

00:13:01

I said I looked at his ass and I've never done that with a man before. It's true. Off the record, women, yes. Men, no. Okay.

00:13:12

And then he says, I've been living with this whole thing about the ass, believe me. But it's ass and I talk about ass. You're playing this clip.

00:13:19

Got to be kidding. I knew that was going to happen. So it happened yesterday. And I've been living with this whole thing about the ass. And believe me, it's of no interest to me other than to say John Houston is one hell of an athlete. Okay. And you know what he did? He picked up like 12 points. I think he's leading in the race now. You know that he's leading?

00:13:44

No, he's not leading in the race. He's trailing behind. And you saying his ass and trying to correlate that with him fake leading. I mean, what are we doing here? WTF, for real? Then Trump says, I looked at his ass. I looked at his ass. I looked at her ass. Nicki Minaj's ass. Here, play this clip.

00:14:01

I said I looked at his ass and I've never done that with a man before. It's true. Off the record, women, yes. Men, no. Okay. By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before. Nicki Minaj. That's hard to miss. That's— stand up.

00:14:32

Yeah, stand up and show everybody. What are we doing here? And then he says, high gas prices are great. We're crushing it. We're making so much money. Everybody's getting rich. We now know that Donald Trump has actually made tens of millions of dollars off of stocks involving oil companies and gas companies. But here's what he said, that this is all great. Here, play this clip.

00:14:53

The United States oil and gas business is making Hundreds of billions of dollars. So I said, I wonder if I should say this. I'd like a little advice from my 2 people, my 2 big monsters that are going to do so well. They're going to be the biggest stars in the country in a week. So our country is making hundreds of billions of dollars because of what's happened in the Middle East, because they're coming to Texas and they're coming to Oklahoma and they're coming to Louisiana. And they're taking that oil. They're making hundreds of billions of dollars. Our country is on oil. And then on top of it, we have Venezuela and we have Greenland because Greenland has a lot of oil. So we're making hundreds and hundreds of billions, trillions of dollars. But my people said, please don't mention that, sir, because people are paying a little higher. That number is going to come way down. But what we've done for this country, we're making money like this country has never made before. So I said, let me say it very gingerly, very softly, because somebody would say the fake news, he's bragging about making money while people are suffering at the, you know, because—

00:16:03

Yeah, that's what you are. You are bragging about making money while people are suffering. That is what you're doing. Just because you say the fake news is going to say that doesn't make it less true. It is, it is true. It is sick that you're saying that It's a small price to pay. People are genuinely struggling right now while you've made billions of dollars, while your oligarch friends have made billions of dollars. You've destroyed so many people's lives. That's why in the latest polling, he has the worst approval in presidential history, not modern presidential history, ever. There's nobody who has worse approval than him than he does right now. Let me show you what his top economic advisor was saying this morning. This is Kevin Hassett on Fox insisting that the economy's actually incredible, he says. Here, play this clip.

00:16:51

The bottom line is that we're saying that actually, if you look at the data, just the facts that I gave you, that the economy is strong. There are people who have concerns. We share those concerns. We're working on addressing them. But the economy is strong. The numbers are incredible. That's the difference. Biden said the economy is great.

00:17:07

Biden— oh, it's Biden said this. Biden said this. Or when he says this is the best economy we've ever seen. This is about the best economy we've ever seen. Here, play this clip.

00:17:15

The great big picture about this economy is that it's about the best economy we've ever seen. Now, sure, there are going to be pockets that need, you know, need some repairs or that hopefully, like as President Trump said, energy prices will drop like a rock and then the 3 or 4% growth that we have right now will go even higher. But to characterize the economy as a negative thing right now is really just misrepresenting the facts.

00:17:37

Well, Donald Trump is heading out to Mississippi. You had J.D. Vance in Montana. And in Montana, J.D. Vance says, remember in 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine and gas prices skyrocketed? Gas prices skyrocketed every time some tinpot dictator decides to throw a tantrum. He's talking about Trump, right? We all know that, right? He's talking about Trump. Also, he is admitting that in 2022, one of the reasons that gas prices were high was because Putin invaded Ukraine, is what he's also saying over there. And so just watch what he says here. Let's play this clip.

00:18:15

Highest inflation that we saw in 50 years in our country. And I understand that. I agree with it. But remember in 2022, let's just talk about gas prices. Remember in 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine and gas prices skyrocketed? They skyrocketed, by the way, far higher then than they are today. They skyrocketed in 1979. They skyrocketed in 2001. They skyrocketed in 2007. They skyrocket every time some tinpot dictator decides to throw a tantrum. And we got to remember that the Democrats' solution to this problem is to whine and build a few windmills.

00:18:58

What are you talking about? Whine? You all are whining right now, and you're the tinpot dictator regime right now covering up child sex trafficking in the Epstein files. By the way, we'll talk in this episode as well about that Democratic Judiciary report on the Epstein Brett, you did a great deep dive into it. But J.D. Vance says, look, we love talking about asses. We are confident men. This is what men do. We love talking about asses on the campaign trail. Watch what Vance says. Let's play it.

00:19:30

Now, somebody told me that Ryan Zinke complimented my beautiful blue eyes earlier today. I was very excited about that. You know, we're not We're not afraid. We're, we're self-confident men in the Trump-Vance administration. President's been noticing a lot about the physiques of everybody lately. And I'm proud that Congressman Zinke welcomed me in the right way.

00:19:54

Then he concludes by saying, what unites the Democrats is not their love of the country, but that they love to bend the knee. Here, play this clip.

00:20:08

What unites the Democrats who are running in this state, and unfortunately far too many of the Democrats running across our country, it's not a love of country. It's not a love of this state, but it is a willingness to bend the knee. They are not independent voices for Montana. They are not servants for you. They are servants of Nancy Pelosi.

00:20:31

It's like if you designed these— this campaign in a lab to try to be the most repugnant, the most loathsome, the most abhorrent and revolting and odious campaign and regime that you could possibly assemble scientifically, so you couldn't come up with this crap that we're seeing right here from the Trump-Vance regime. And this is just pathetic. They know right now that things look incredibly grim for them. The early voting numbers are really horrific for them. The polling is really horrific for them. I don't want anyone to get complacent when I say that. Do not take any of that for granted. Absolutely not. Make sure you vote. Vote early if you can. But we are just seeing— just, it's just so pathetic right here. And for Vance to say the things they say, it's also just a case study in psychological projection. It's like they don't even hear themselves speak. But this is part of the strategy, right? When you know that you have a weakness, when you know that you are exhibiting these behaviors, you try to say that it's actually your opponents who are exhibiting those behaviors. It's actually them that are doing this.

00:21:32

But, you know, I think one of the things that we've seen, especially, you know, as we've looked to what happened in Brazil and what happened to Serbia, is that people right now are fed up with this crap and people are organizing. And they understand also that, like, the regular people out there who are passionate about democracy, who actually want to bring back some sort of normalcy and get rid of these despicable human beings, they are just— they're organizing in a way right now that is showing, like, that so much of the support that the Vances, the Trumps, and them have are— it's not even like real support. It's all astroturfed. There's, there's so much bots going on. There's so many algorithmic things. I'm actually really excited to speak about some of the international stuff because I want to share, um, how in Brazil they got around a lot of this censorship and suppression. Um, and I found it, you know, to be a real model that I think Americans can learn from, uh, going forward. But you are just seeing right now a regime in the Trump regime that's hanging by an absolute thread. They know that there is a train coming straight for them, that there is nothing they could do.

00:22:35

And everything they do seems to be designed in a lab to make them as repulsive as possible to voters.

00:22:41

Exactly. The Trump-Vance regime, Brett, repugnant. That's just— that's the main word that comes to mind. They are repugnant individuals. And so when you see Vance up there, just super smug. First off, I think it says a lot that all of them in the Trump-Vance regime are campaigning in these ruby red areas because they're so scared about about where the midterms are, are looking for, for their party. When Vance was up there, I picked up on something that I'm not sure if a lot of folks were talking about or discussing on social. I know I personally haven't seen it, but it's when he's talking about self-confident men in the Trump-Vance regime is what he said. He didn't call them regime. I think he referred to it as administration. I'm not going to do that. In the Trump-Vance regime, self-confident. You know what comes to mind? Confidence Con men. It's a Freudian slip, if you will, that he was essentially admitting to the game that they are con men, Donald Trump and J.D. Vance. And they absolutely are. Man, it is so frustrating to see the vice president up there, a position that should be held like with prestige, right?

00:23:44

Like it's the vice president of the United States and he is just such a smug jagoff. And it's frustrating. I know, Jordan, but the name-calling. How else would you describe what you just watched? How else would you describe how he demeans people while he's up there? That's not a unifying person. That's a creature that's up there trying to divide half of the country, to wage these culture wars and divide us against ourselves, because that's the only thing they are capable of running on. They're not bringing anyone together. They're not making anyone's lives better or easier or making more people well off here in this country. Know who they're making more well off? The 0.01% Mar-a-Lagos. That's who they're doing it— that, that's who's benefiting from this Trump-Pence regime right now. And it's despicable to see him up there just again dividing half the country every single time he takes the mic.

00:24:30

Then it's an amazing day for democracy across the world right now after the results in Brazil, after the results in Serbia. Shout out to all the young folks in Belgrade. We've got the Israeli elections coming up in 24 hours. You're seeing a lot of protests in Tel Aviv against the Netanyahu regime there. Then we're a week away, folks for the midterms here in the United States. We're seeing massive protests continue also in Albania. We're seeing massive amounts of people going out to the streets in Venezuela where Maria Corina Machado— and look, I think she's done a lot of things that were very difficult for us to process and to watch her, you know, do the things that she did, you know, with Trump and giving him the Nobel Prize and All the—

00:25:23

all of that behavior. Um, one can say, what other choice did she have given the power dynamics at play? And she was just trying to figure out a way to get back to Venezuela. But look, she was greeted like a hero when she got back to Venezuela in Caracas. We'll talk about that. And I was telling the brothers, I said— and I, I put this on the record as soon as I saw it—

00:25:44

I said the Trump regime had no clue that she was going to Venezuela. I said, because the story was because she snuck through Colombia to get to Venezuela. And I'm like, why would she do that? If the Trump regime supported it, they would just give her a flight from Miami and just fly her into Venezuela. I said, so they learned that she was there after, and then they tried to backfill a story about why she's there. And then you have the people there though, they want Delcy and the Trump-backed Maduro Chavista regime over there gone. In other words, we've got a lot to talk about, everybody. WTF America. America is our book. Get the hardcover, get the ebook. This is the book that Elon Musk does not want you to read. And I think when you've read it, you probably now know why. It's the book that corporate news doesn't want you to read. And I think after you've read it, you now know why. Let's take our first break of the show. We will be right back after this quick messages.

I noticed someone Someone in the comments said that our QR code wasn't working for the book, that it doesn't take you there, but works for me. I don't know. Give it a shot. See if it takes you to— I can't even pretend. Good one.

00:29:37

Good one.

00:29:37

Yeah. Yeah. Benji. Benji. Where to next, big bro?

00:29:42

So the big scandal on state regime media, which calls itself Fox, is not Donald Trump's involvement in the Epstein files, which would be something that they should probably talk about. Not all of the grift and corruption and lies. And by the way, corruption doesn't do it justice when everything is corrupt in the regime. They're just a criminal authoritarian regime. Like, when I think about corruption, which is bad, I think about corruption as like a virus in a generally healthy body politic that needs to be eradicated. But when the whole body becomes the virus, it becomes a zombified thing. And that's what the Trump regime has turned government into. The whole body is sick and decrepit, and we need change right now. And this is not a political message. This is just, I think, an awakening that people are like, wait a minute, these people who were saying they were going to help us, they're the damn arsonists. And Trump and Vance and Hegseth and Besant and the Lutniks and this whole Epstein class, man, they went mask And it helped us, I think, really put into a clearer picture who these arsonists are. I mean, I know we all know it, but it's so damn obvious who the bad guys are, who these awful demons are.

00:31:03

And it's important that we call them out. So this is what Fox was talking about. They were attacking Obama and they were like— Martha MacCallum was like, did you hear what Trump— what did you hear what Obama said about Cheesecake Factory? I just think that's so out of touch with what the American people are thinking about right now. Just so out of touch. Here, let's listen to what Martha MacCallum on state regime media had to say. Let's play it.

00:31:25

Many presidents have done over the years. But I think the most difficult part of what we just went over is the Cheesecake Factory comment, actually, because I think it goes exactly to why Democrats lost the middle class, why they lost blue-collar voters, because it's just, you know, it's kind of a guns and religion clinging kind of comment, and it turns a lot of people in this country off. Yeah, a lot of us not read that. Yeah, that's a nice night out. I think Evan Barker nailed it.

00:31:54

I, I think about all the birthday parties that people have at the Cheesecake Factory, my own family included. I mean, it is— Absolutely. No, I, I mean that. I mean, it's just—

00:32:03

State regime media is a psyop. It truly is. And what we document in WTF America is the rise of this psyop. I mean, it existed throughout humankind, but the modern manifestation of the psyop was that Roger Ailes' 1970 memo about creating Republican psyops to bolster future Nixons. Like, that was what they wanted to do. And then they created talk radio in the '80s, Fox in the '90s, and then they joined with more oligarchs to perfect this propaganda ecosystem. Like, I remember my birthday and cheesecake. That's so snobby. No, no, no. The fact that Donald Trump tore down the East Wing to make a golden ballroom and turn the Oval Office into the color piss. And the joke that was made was that the Oval Office looks like something that Saddam Hussein would build combined with a Cheesecake Factory, because that's literally what it looks like. It's not saying you shouldn't go to a Cheesecake Factory. In fact, there are places that could look like that. One would be a Cheesecake Factory. But the Oval Office should not look like the Cheesecake Factory, precisely because that's where your little kids and whatever can go for birthday parties.

00:33:23

The Oval Office is supposed to be the people's house, a solemn place, not the Cheesecake Factory, you idiots. And it's like just dealing with, again, demons. And here's the thing. Here's the thing. They don't just randomly do this, Right? They wake up in the morning and come up with the psyop, the brainwashing technique. What are they going to do to divide Americans? And they look at it scientifically. They are backed by billions of dollars, trillions of dollars over the years with precise data. And this is an international network to figure out how you pit one American against another American. So these fuckers can put data— I'm so angry— so they could put data centers in your backyard so can steal from you, so they can send our young people to never-ending wars on behalf of Netanyahu, who's a part of this authoritarian regime, so they can kill people here and take away your healthcare so they can have 12 or 15 yachts and they can have 12 or 15 private jets, which they'll then write off on their taxes, all the while doing this psyop while J.D. Vance is like, oh shucks, man. Oh shucks.

00:34:33

You know, the issue with the Democrats is that they just want to bend the knee. No, these again are evil, evil, evil, evil people. There is actually true evil, and it's them, and it's them and the Trump regime and these arsonists. I don't say this at a political level. They're back in the— you know, I showed a clip, and I'm not like simping for freaking Bob Dole or anything, but I looked at his 1996 convention speech about being inclusive and respecting immigrants, and he said the Mexican family who crosses the border border is just as much a human as we are. You know, and there's just statements like that about freaking humanity and decency. And these people over the years, they've studied human nature and behavior, cognitive dissonance, brainwashing techniques to affirmatively divide us and pit us against each other so the oligarchs can feast on your flesh. Bretton Jordy.

00:35:31

And you could take that as anything, right? Literally any single thing in society or culture culture or politics, they will start creating that division. They will start driving that wedge. And their goal is exactly that. It's to extract everything they can from regular Americans and to get people to vote against their own interests and to get people— when Donald Trump gets up there and says, oh, we're making the oil executives a lot of money. I know gas is a lot of money for you and you can't afford it anymore, but we're getting rich. My friends are getting rich. So that Donald Trump could say that and you could applaud and they could write it off like, oh, look, here's Trump being Trump. It's all a part of the plan and is meticulously laid out. This is the tan suit strategy from the Obama years and just on steroids right now. And then that's also compounded now by the use of AI and by all the other sophisticated techniques and by the ownership of these big tech companies, people who are simping for Trump, to use a term that Ben before, but you got people like Musk suppressing the pro-Lula content down in Brazil and suppressing the No Kings content over here.

00:36:42

You got Elon Musk, who specifically spent tens of billions of dollars on X so that he could control the algorithms, so that he could control what the people sees. And all Musk posts online all day long, if you looked at Musk's Twitter feed, and I kind of wish that more people actually looked at Musk's Twitter feed because there are a lot of people who go around and think that he's like— they don't realize how nuts he is and how much he has devolved into this just grotesque creature.

00:37:10

But all day it's, you know, this— he just writes these one-sentence tweets now. He goes, Tallarico wants to trans your kids. Tallarico wants to send your kids and chop off his penis. Tallarico is a vegan. He hates you and he hates meat. Like, it's just dozens and dozens and dozens of these. And he's the biggest account on the platform with the biggest reach on the platform. And that is how he is choosing to do it. Why? Because he wants to have a senator, uh, in, uh, in, uh, Ken Paxton, who is going to basically be his bought senator that he could control, that he could get to build all of his XAI data centers all throughout Texas, that he could be there and be tax-free and not have to worry about contributing anything back to the country or the state. He wants to be able to control his own United States senator, and he knows that he can do that by occupying Texas and screwing over the people of Texas. So he's to be—

00:38:03

he's going to pretend that, oh, this guy is the other, this guy is the weirdo, not that Elon Musk is the weirdo, the creep, the billionaire, the billionaire predator who is preying on the people in that state, preying on the people in this country. It is absolutely grotesque what we are witnessing right now. It is the perfect culmination of this billionaire power meets this— these tech elites meets the technology that they have the capability to do what they're doing. I mean, think about what we were seeing in Brazil, right? They were literally taking images of, of protest of supporters, rather, of Bolsonaro. And they were AI-ing the videos so that the supporters were like pretty women instead of, you know, the men who were supporting him and things like that. The manipulative techniques, the way that right after those elections, all those same characters, all those same MAGA propagandists rushed to do the same shit, spread the same line.

00:38:59

Rigged, rigged. Oh, there are anomalies in the vote count. Oh, this doesn't— this isn't quite adding up. But yes, Elon's a part of that as well. And there's no surprise that you have people like Jason Miller, a Trump adviser, pushing this stuff out. He's the one releasing Bolsonaro's statements. This is a coordinated effort. None of it is random. It's all interconnected. And that's something that we all have to be aware of. And when we fight back against it, you know, you got to know the— what we're trying to fight against in order to fight it.

00:39:29

Benji, first, I want to start here. Don't worry, no one is going to accuse you of simping for Bob Dole, but I appreciate you calling. Don't worry about that.

00:39:36

I wake up— Don't worry about it.

00:39:37

Not one person, not one person is, is doing it in the chat right now. Don't, don't worry. More serious though, the fight of our lifetime, which is actually happening right now, is the war against the algorithms. Right now, when you look around, you look at the oligarchs, you look at the big tech owners who's running these platforms, it's a scary sight, right? Elon Musk didn't buy Twitter, in my opinion, to turn a profit. He bought Twitter, X now, because he wanted to dominate the algorithms there. He wanted to put his finger on the scale and just tell you, the viewer of that platform, the user of that platform, what you need to care about. And it just so happens that everything that Musk is doing over there falls right in line with the MAGA agenda. He didn't care about dropping $44 billion to purchase Twitter because he didn't need to turn a profit off of it. He wants to use it as his own little think tank where he could push his agendas. And it's a scary thing, in my opinion, when you see that actively playing out. And then you look at the broader scale of who owns all these other social medias.

00:40:37

No need to get into it right here. We all know who owns these platforms. It's a scary thing when you see these CEOs and owners of these big tech companies aligning themselves and sitting right beside Trump to actively sort of do his bidding. Sir, did I say the right number? Y'all know who I'm talking about there. It's frustrating from a standpoint where I fear for the country and for the world as we go forward, like what we can be doing to sort of combat it. And Brett, I think you pointed to an excellent example of just that, if you wanted to talk to it a little bit more, because I think that was exactly a methodology that people should be enacting. Well, I want to talk about Brazil in a moment, but Jordy, I do want to point that Musk did make massive profits on the purchase of X. And what they did was they raised huge amounts of debt from foreign sources— Saudi Arabia, big banks, other big tech people over here— to fund basically the all-cash acquisition of Twitter. They brought it private.

00:41:39

Then what they did once it was private is they then stuck X into SpaceX, which gets a lot of its money from government contracts. They then made it into an AI company. company, they then changed the rules of NASDAQ to force SpaceX, which then combined X, onto basically all of the, you know, the NASDAQ exchanges. So that people with mutual funds and people who have QQQ and people who have all of these exchange-traded funds and things that have NASDAQ, you're forced to now buy SpaceX, which included X in it, um, right away. And then they gave it, uh, they then only released a small— the float was small, small amount of shares were actually sold to drive up the demand basically of what the valuation of this company is, which gets a lot of its money again from government contracts and then has that multi-trillion dollar valuation that goes out there. So then the people who held the ex-debt then get converted into equity. equity. They make an absolute killing and they crush it. They make a fortune for what they did with X because it's folded into SpaceX. Then they wield SpaceX for actual global world domination.

00:42:54

And I'm not saying that like, like supervillain crap, by throttling Ukraine's use of Starlink and Starshield after Russia's invasion. And so I just want to tie this all together to explain the deeper situation of what's actually happening. Oh yeah, and by the way, you know those so-called Trump accounts, right? They force your kids to then buy these stocks to prop up these SpaceXes and to prop up these exchange-traded funds of the Dells and all of these people who Trump has in the Oval Office. So I want you to be wise to what the scheme is right over here. And by the way, we lay that out in WTF America: The Way Out of This Hell and Back to Democracy, because some of this stuff feels a little complex. But when you break it down the way I did, I think people go, ah, you have to make all of these connections in all of these different areas. And this relates to an international oligarchy. Now, let me tie it to Brazil. What was one of the first things that happened after Lula won? The Brazilian stock market crashed by 30%. Why? Why? Because you have all of the oligarchs punishing Brazil, all of these American MAGA-backed and these international Epstein-class people punishing the country, pulling their money out, doing a massive sell-off of Brazilian equities to harm and inflict pain on the markets because the pro-democracy candidate won.

00:44:22

Pay attention to what they are doing. This is why Citizens United was such an important ruling until it was changed Because Citizens United was so freaking critical to destroying the system that existed, which was campaign finance reform existed. There was a bipartisan bill, right? There was McCain and Feingold, a Republican and a Democrat, came together and made a deal. And then a lawsuit said that corporations are people and that the founders wanted there to be free speech of corporations. to spend unlimited money? Where does it say that in the Constitution? And so this right-wing fascist stuff, this goes back decades. It goes back a very long time. And we have to pay attention to where it's coming from. Then you got people— let's just show this clip before we go to our next break. But this is Treasury Secretary Bessent. You know, they get the script, they get their propaganda brainwashing scripts.

00:45:22

So Fox does that. Do we have the clip, Brett, of Bessent saying that or just the— or just the photo?

00:45:26

Well, 2 things. This is the man who built the museum. It looks like Darth Vader's tomb. And I would just tell the— I had a great meal, always have a great meal. And I would tell the Martha's Vineyard set to give it a try. Okay. Okay.

00:45:45

I love that he went to Cheesecake Factory.

00:45:47

There is a certain side of this administration that does make itself very accessible that you wouldn't expect. And actually, when he points out that the museum looks—

00:45:57

Yes, psyop, psyop. Just be aware, brainwashing.

00:46:00

Martha's Vineyard set, the guy worth nearly $1 billion might want to look down on the Martha's Vineyard set.

00:46:10

I mean, dude, you made hundreds of millions of dollars being a loser based on your carry of a fund where there was 90% redemptions. You freaking loser. You lived in a replica, I kid you not, in South Carolina, Charleston, of Barbie's Malibu mansion. He lived in pink Barbie's Malibu mansion, some $22 million pink estate in Charleston for being a loser for a fund that lost 90% of its investors like in the first year. And his MAGA arc was finding the magnet of other losers. Just like him. Oh, there's no one more Martha's Vineyard than this guy. This guy, literally, if there was a language of Martha's Vineyard, someone who— it's that guy. And that guy's doing the lecture right there and telling people what the Martha's Vineyard set is. And also, I'm sure there are lots of lovely people who live on Martha's Vineyard. But this guy right there, by the way, remember what they did to the people on Martha's Vineyard also? I mean, thinking about the Trump regime during Biden. right? When they put the— they like would bus immigrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard. And they were also the Martha's Vineyard sent these people to and the Bessents of the world.

00:47:22

It's like, what are you talking about? What is wrong with these people? It is absolutely outrageous. And when I get back, I want to show you more of what Besent was doing and saying with respect to Iran. I want to talk a little bit, Brett, Majority's question over there. I want to talk about the Brazilian election. I want to talk about Serbia. I want to talk about the Israeli elections. I want to talk about something that's not getting nearly enough attention as well. What's going on in Israel where the IDF chief of staff right now has pushed back against Netanyahu's desire to attack Iran before the elections. And it should be noted that the person who's likely going to become the next prime minister, the main competition to Netanyahu, Gadi Eisenkot, was the former IDF chief of staff. So the current IDF chief of staff is basically saying to Netanyahu, I'm not going to carry out the order to attack Iran on unless it's in writing and unless there is, you know, some levels of accountability, because we think you're just— the idea when the IDF is out there saying that we think Netanyahu is trying to interfere with the election, you know that it's bad, bad, bad.

00:48:33

And that's not getting nearly enough attention as well. So we'll talk about all of that. We'll talk about the Comey criminal information. I'll break down what it means for you. Let's take our last quick break of the show. Reminder, WTF America The book that Musk doesn't want you to see, WTF America: The Way Out of This Hell and Back to Democracy. Let me know what you think. And the book that corporate news doesn't want you to see. All right, let's take our last break.

We're speaking about Treasury Secretary Bessent before the break. You know, he said that he was doing this Operation Economic Outcast and Iran would be so isolated.

00:52:11

that any day they would break, any day the people would rise up and there would be regime change because Bessent, who couldn't even manage his rinky-dinky fund— it wasn't that rinky-dinky, but in the swing of things. I mean, if he couldn't manage a $4 billion fund and had 90% redemptions there because people are like, oh, wait a minute, you don't know what you're doing.

00:52:34

It seems like you were just trading under people who actually knew what they were doing in the past and you were trying to steal their value. And take credit for it. Oh, this guy doesn't really know what he's doing. And so he had a loser MAGA arc in the private sector. And so now he's talking about Operation Economic Outcast. I'm the house. You're gonna bet against me, bond market? The bond market's like, yeah, we're gonna bet against you because you don't know what you're doing. What if I did a $6 billion bond buyout of the 30-year Treasury notes?

00:53:05

Yeah, it's like a trillion-dollar It's like throwing a pebble at a gigantic wave in the ocean. Oh, okay. Well, I'm just saying we should play the odds. Okay. This is best— Operation Economic Outcast. And he's like really weird about it, like weirdly aggressive with Iran. We're going to torture you. We're going to make the people suffer. Get ready for it. And look what we're going to do. Any country that does business with Iran, you're on notice. notice. And China's like, okay, well, we're gonna do business with Iran. Okay, okay, not you, China. Then Russia's like, yeah, um, we're going to expand our cooperation and we're going to focus more on nuclear. We're going to expand our JV from the Bushehr plant and open up other nuclear plants. Okay, Russia, we're gonna buy your diesel. Okay, thank you for the economic outcast. You're going to reward us for it. Got it. Great, great work there, Bessent. And so, you know, like back in April, Bessent was like, they've got 3 days to live. Their pipes, it's gonna burst, so get ready. That didn't happen. Of course, Trump back in March said 4 to 6 weeks. I'm not sure why I'm giving Bessant a Hulk Hogan voice, but I'm giving him a weird Hulk Hogan voice.

00:54:15

Benji, I, I think you're— I think your Bessant was actually better before the break. You do it again.

00:54:20

Yeah, I mean, look, I was doing a Hulk Hogan impression before, but you know, he—

00:54:24

Bessant was like, you know, the other thing, only other thing that, uh, I There it is. I would tell the Iranian people, anything you need for the winter, we're gonna torture you. The way, the way you're going to love us is we're gonna torture you. Okay, we're just gonna, we're just gonna—

00:54:41

You know why that impression's better? Because you look just like him when you're doing it. That's ex—

00:54:45

yeah, it's like, you ever see like voice actors and they like, you're like, wow, I'm— I can't believe they make themselves look like the character while they're doing it.

00:54:53

Like when someone does a Robert De Niro impression, they make themselves look like Robert De Niro. Nero. That's what Ben does with Bessin. That's what—

00:54:59

yeah, let's play, let's play this first clip of him.

00:55:01

What are we playing? Him talking about Iran?

00:55:03

The other thing that I would tell the Iranian people is anything you need for the winter, you should go and get.

00:55:07

Mr. Operation Outcast, here we go.

00:55:09

The other thing that I would tell the Iranian people is you should start— anything you need for the winter, you should go and get now. You, you should start stocking up on heating fuel.

00:55:20

There's going to be a big heating fuel shortage that in terms of gasoline, everyone should fill up their tanks now.

00:55:28

Then he says he has more advice to the Iranian people. Don't pay your taxes. He says this way, he tells the Iranian people. The other advice I'd give them is don't pay your taxes because you're not going to get any government service. I'm Treasury Secretary Bessin just telling you don't pay your taxes. This is how Operation Economic Outgas goes down. I just tell you don't pay your taxes.

00:55:49

You're And I think the problem is they're running out of dollars. You know, the central bank keeps printing money, which is what's leading to this inflation, and they aren't paying salaries. Uh, you know, my, my advice to the Iranian people would be don't pay your taxes because you're not going to get anything back from the government. They're going to keep cutting social benefits.

00:56:10

Come on, did you imagine—

00:56:12

is like someone— could you just imagine? Because he's, he's being 1,000% serious there, right? Unless I'm picking up on some sarcasm. He's being serious. Yes, everyone's in on it.

00:56:20

This is like— could you imagine if another psyop—

00:56:23

right, but could you just imagine if another leader from a different country like implored Americans not to pay their taxes? Like the outrage Fox News and, and everyone in the Trump regime would, would have.

00:56:36

Yeah, it just does it so casually, you know. But what he's also saying, right, is that we the United States are inflicting pain on civilians. And in order for you to love us and want us to rule you, basically, we are torturing you. And that is how we plan to win the hearts and minds of the people in Iran, to overthrow the Iranian government, is by attacking the civilian population.

00:57:04

I mean, and, and then he goes over here, he's like, don't, don't pay your taxes, they might cut your social services. Perhaps they'll use, uh, that tax money in order to pay out fraudsters, uh, for attacking their own government. Maybe they'll do that too with your money. How about that? I, I can't even believe that these people can say any of this with a straight face. Sorry.

00:57:23

Then he goes, many of the IRGC commanders are like rats in a sewer pipe. They are hiding right now, he says. Here, let's play this clip.

00:57:31

IRGC members start to warn about the economic consequences, but part of my worry is many of the IRGC commanders, they are like rats in a sewer pipe. They are in hiding, they are in deep, dark locations, and they don't see what's happening to the Iranian people. The Ayatollah is very isolated.

00:57:54

So many, many of these leaders do not understand what is happening to the Iranian people.

00:58:00

They do understand. I see them. I see them every day. I know who they are. I know way too much about them because the government here in the United States is so propagandizing that I've had to learn things that frankly, I never even thought I really wanted to have to learn about. I didn't have to want to become an expert in Treasury yields or very large crude carriers or the different types of oil grades, whether it's too viscous or sweet or sour. I didn't really need to know until the Trump regime how our strategic petroleum reserves specifically work in these salt caverns. You know, those types of things were left to experts. But when it became increasingly clear that these idiots literally lie about freaking everything, it became an existential endeavor to learn all of these things. And so I know who all the Iranian leadership— I know who their foreign minister is, Araghchi. I know who their deputy foreign minister is, Gharbabadi. I know who their main adviser is to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, Mohsen Raza. I know who their parliament leader is, MB Golabaf. I know who their spokesperson for the IRGC is. I know the distinction between the Iranian army and their leadership versus the IRGC and then the central command structure that basically makes those announcements.

00:59:21

I know the IRGC spokesman. These leaders are out there. They were out there today in public meeting in Tehran with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the defense minister there, with Turkey's intelligence top intelligence officer with Pakistan's Field Marshal Munir. They met to discuss regional security because the Trump regime security umbrella has been destroyed. Saudi Arabia is out of interceptors because the United States is out of weapons. In a 48-hour period, the Trump regime went through 20 years of interceptors in basically like 48 hours or like 3 days. We are out of weapons at this point. Yes, the guy who bankrupted multiple multiple casinos, bankrupted our military, a war we should never have been involved in in the first place in Iran with genocidal maniacs Trump and Netanyahu. Let's be very clear about that. But even if you are some like neocon warmonger, this is what you envisioned it to look like, running out of weapons in the first few days, having all of the US military bases in the region obliterated by Iran. Hat tip to the Midas Touch Network for covering what these bases actually look like right now. And thanks to all the courageous service members, their families, families, contractors, and others who shared with Aaron Parnas and Ken Harbaugh and others at the Midas Touch Network what it actually looks like at these bases as the Trump regime has abandoned our military.

01:00:45

So no, Iran's President Puzheshkian is on the plane today. You know where he's going? He's going to meet with Putin because last week, you know who was in Iran as well? Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, met there in Iran with Foreign Minister Araghchi. They're talking about their JVs, the Bushehr nuclear plant, other nuclear plants that they are building. holding together. And so we know who these people are creating this weird cosplay fictional novel of Iranians in caves and hiding and they're about to collapse. And you know what? You have this idiot CENTCOM commander, Admiral Cooper, this loser, you know, who was once a respected guy. I mean, he's posting these photos of himself, like posing like the Marlboro Man outside of a helicopter by the Strait of Hormuz. And he's like, look at Look at me, I'm by the Strait of Hormuz. Only 5% of the VLCCs, of these tankers, these crude carriers, are getting destroyed by Iran. 95% get through, which is, by the way, not even true. But even if it was true, would you go on an airplane knowing that 5% of the time your airplane crashes? That doesn't exactly instill confidence.

01:01:51

This is a milestone. We're getting more oil out than ever before. No, you're not. You're not. And it costs $1.5 million a day right now because the risk premium is so high for these crude carriers that it costs them $1.5 million a day to take out the oil. That in and of itself adds $33 to each barrel of oil. That's not a good thing right now. What are you boasting about, you freaking lunatics? And so it's just the, the craziness of these lies are so outrageous. They're hiding in the sewers. They're not. The only person who's hiding is the Ayatollah, and he's hiding because you killed the last Ayatollah and you killed the last Ayatollah's daughter and son-in-law and 3-year-old grandkid while they were at their house. They weren't hiding in a bunker. They weren't hiding in some super secret location. They were in the guy's house. And the Trump regime and Netanyahu regime launched the war, killed the Ayatollah, and they said they were going to be viewed as conquering heroes by the people of Iran who would say, welcome, welcome, welcome. And now all Donald Trump and this ridiculous Trump regime does is lie about the protesters that were killed in January and just make up numbers.

01:03:01

One day it's 100,000, the next day it's 75,000. A few months ago was 30,000. It is make-up numbers, which calls into question the entire situation of what even happened in January with those protests. If you're so willing to just make up fake death numbers, who does that? And meanwhile, in Israel right now, you know, there was the story I was reporting on about how the current IDF chief of staff at this point is saying that he's not necessarily carrying out the orders of Netanyahu. In an unprecedented confrontation, the IDF chief of staff is saying, I need to have any request or demand in writing. There needs to be kind of a number of safeguards in place to determine what the order actually is. I mean, this guy, though, I mean, let's be clear. I mean, IDF chief of staff Eyal Zamir, I mean, this guy's been involved in a lot of horrific conduct, but this was too much for him. This was too much for him. He's like, Netanyahu is going to try to start this war before the elections to derail the elections. And so I'm not going to carry out the order unless I see it in writing, unless it goes through a certain process, because I'm deeply concerned that this is all— that there are going to be all of these false flags that are going to be used in order to derail the elections where Netanyahu is expected to lose.

01:04:19

It's really a transparent look about how all these regimes run, right? looking at Netanyahu or a Bolsonaro or a Trump all over the world, because what they all want to do is they want to instill a sense of chaos. They want to have a sense of disorder, and they want people to have to feel like, oh, things are so nuts, things are so crazy that I have to go with this strongman tinpot dictator because this is the person promising me security. They are the arsonist lighting the fire, setting it ablaze, and then saying, I told you there was going to be a fire.

01:04:49

I'm here to fix it. And so the fact that this IDF chief is the one saying, like, Netanyahu is about to— he wants me to set a fire for him so that he could then say that he's going to be the guy to put it out and he could postpone this election. I mean, this is typical playbook, the typical playbook of these autocrats. It's the same crap they do. And by the way, it's happening all over the world right now too. You look at, you know, Paris, like you think they're not, you know, stoking things in Paris right there and trying to make a sense of disorder that is greater than anything that's even there. And, and to lay fake blame to what's happening in the protests in Paris and try to blame it on migrants and Islam and whatever they want to do, when it's really about people trying to rise up and fight back against the government that's not taking care of them adequately. That's a high, you know, high cost, high prices, bad schooling, things like that. This is what they do. This is what they do. So you have to look out for it.

01:05:42

You have to look out for the propaganda. Don't fall for any of the psyops. Yeah, let me show you also what Donald Trump said about the Brazilian He says it looked terrible to me, looked like another rigged one. Guess it was another rigged one, everybody. Here's what he has to say. Play this clip.

01:05:58

In Brazil, Bolsonaro's loss in Brazil, any comment on that? Do you think the election was fair?

01:06:02

Well, it looked terrible to me. I thought it was a terrible— okay, I didn't take sides, but it looked like another rigged election. Frankly, I didn't take sides, but it was a terrible look for the world. It's another election. You know, elections have to be indisputable, and it looked very bad to me.

01:06:23

Lula in Brazil won by over 4 million votes. Wasn't particularly close. Now, there was a lot of issues earlier in the day that in Bolsonaro-controlled areas, a lot of the, like, infrastructure was shut down, and the trains and the buses and the transportation, like, things were, like, breaking So there was actually a petition by both sides, extend the vote a little later. This was extended by like an hour and a half or 2 hours later. There's been no claim that there were fake votes, that the 4 million number is fake. People voted in the day and 4 million more people voted for Lula. One of the decisive points was actually the debate where Lula, who's 80 years old, held his own in the debate. Debate and made Bolsonaro look kind of stiff and unprepared and really, I think, exposed Bolsonaro for being part of this kind of MAGA authoritarian international globalist network that would ultimately hurt the sovereignty of Brazil and sell out the people of Brazil. They had 2 rounds. In the first round, Bolsonaro won, but it was close. In the second round, people got to reflect on what was happening. There was a lot more candidates in the first round.

01:07:37

People consolidated around Lula. More people turned out to vote, and that was the outcome. That's it. There's no fake votes. There's not whatever. But this is their scheme, you know. And I— not that I want to give credit to Serbia's, uh, former president Aleksandar Vučić, um, because I can give credit, but the guy conceded right away. He lost to the Student List, which was a group that arose out of protests when there was this disaster that took place in a town in Serbia. And, you know, the government was kind of covering it up and the students rose up and they did all of these protests that we've been covering here for a long time. There was massive, way more turnout than anybody expected in Serbia. Now, the student list group won. Vučić is also very closely linked with this Trump, Don Jr. world over here. And look, Vučić conceded right away, I lost. The Student List will now go on and pick whoever their leader is. Hey, look, I don't want to make this sound like it's going to dramatically change a lot. The Student List party takes a more neutral stance with Russia anyway, not more than Vučić, but in general, I don't think we're going to see dramatic changes in terms of sanctions against Russia or anything like that.

01:08:54

But this was a power emanating from the people and a reaction against people who were very closely aligned with Trump. So we saw that. Netanyahu's election is coming up, which we just talked about as well.

01:09:07

Hold on. I do want to talk quickly about one of the very interesting ways that people overcame a lot of the suppression, a lot of the tactics, because I think this is— I think this could be a bit of a roadmap for folks also to learn. You know, the thing that the people can't do, that the people who control the algorithms can't control is the people, right? They can't control people power. They can't control grassroots organizing. So there was all this news about Meta suppression and how Meta was keeping down, um, you know, all the Lula content and was boosting the Bolsonaro content. And what ended up happening was they had this group, ironically in another Meta app, WhatsApp, because these companies own freaking everything. They're all like these crazy monopolies. And so, but there's WhatsApp, which is like a chatting app, And one of the politicians who supported Lula, a member of Congress there, made a group called Lula's Army. And during that first round of voting, Lula's Army had 50,000 members in the group, which sounds like a lot of members, right? And that's where they were passing around information and getting people to vote and making sure everybody knew what to do, basic organizing stuff.

01:10:16

Well, after that first round, what they did was they launched a massive organization effort, and they got so many people to join this WhatsApp group chat. And one of the ways they also did it was not only by having people share it with their friends and family, um, you know, through text message and through digital means, but people were actually writing down the information to the WhatsApp group on paper, and they were passing it out at rallies. They were sending it over to other people. And so they grew it from 50,000 people in this group to 10 million people in this group and built this massive grassroots campaign to help get out the vote. And those, when you actually like count it up, like those were the extra votes that Lula got, you know, that could have very well been the thing that shifted the election. And they went around the usual means of communication, really built their own means of communication here.

01:11:12

And they were able to get out their message and organize in a way that I don't think we've ever really seen before and defeat this fascist regime. And then, of course, you have all the Trump people, you know, that followed. You had frickin Nick Shirley in Brazil. He was like one of the first people, you know, Nick Shirley, the guy who, you know, went to Minneapolis and claimed fraud everywhere and got ICE in there, which then resulted in multiple people getting killed in Minneapolis.

01:11:37

Nick Shirley was like on the ground in Brazil right when this all happened. And he was like with the crowd of people trying to rile them up and say, look, there's fraud. Look, the people don't want Lula. Look, look, we're gonna— they want to fight back. They're gonna fight back. And part of it thinks— and this is going to be my opinion here, I want to be clear about this— but part of me thinks that this regime— and I don't put it past them, the guy's been to the White House, the guy, uh, is in frequent communication with Trump officials— I think like Trump and the CIA and people in the Trump regime use people like Nick Shirley and they send them to places like Brazil in order to start shit. Because like I said before, for. They thrive in chaos. They want chaos. They want that division because that's how these authoritarians gain power and that's how they gain wealth. Sorry, Ben. Yeah, and I'll just say this too though. I'm not sure the CIA likes the Nick Shirleys of the world though. So I think that there's kind of— I think there's— the CIA is like, let's show you, can we show you how we've done this in the past, man?

01:12:36

And then it's a very kind of Trumpian loser way that goes about it to, which doesn't even carry out the thing in the way the CIA would want to kind of carry it out. So I actually also believe that there is a tension there. I'll give you an example. Like, Trump had his guy in Latin America, this guy Fernando Ceramido was the guy's name, who then is alleged to have tried to kill his partner or girlfriend, um, who's a lawyer in Bolivia. And in this act of femicide, she survived, She was pregnant with his child and she knew too much about his work with the Trump— this is a true story— with this Trump regime and how they were trying to put all of these puppets in place. And he was the guy allegedly working with all of the bot farms and he was working with Brad Parscale and all of the kind of Trumpers. He's an Argentinian political consultant with Javier Milei who would go around to all of these places— Colombia, this place, that place, Bolivia. And so he he is actually, uh, imprisoned right now. And so he wasn't able to do the types of things that he's normally able to do.

01:13:42

And also Zelensky's been striking the Russian data centers like Yandex. And so the bot farms have been hurt and slightly disabled. So I also think a combination of Serhii Medov in prison and the data center struck were other areas, um, where other stories as well. Quickly, there's the Israeli elections that are taking place. Gadi Eisenkot, IDF former chief of staff, you know, not to suggest that this is going to make like dramatic change, but, you know, he does call out the Netanyahu claim that Iran has nuclear weapons, like they don't have nuclear weapons. He calls Netanyahu a lunatic. And, you know, again, he's past IDF, so it's not like you're going to get like a major reformer over here. But you have Gadi Eisenkot's party's expected to win. We'll see, though, what happens over there. Then, of course, we have our elections coming up. I noted earlier— next week. Then I noted earlier you have Machado back in Venezuela. Marco Rubio admitted earlier today that he was actually not aware that she was going back in Venezuela, which is what I suspected. The State Department didn't know she was going there and she got there through Colombia, which is one of the big tells to me that they didn't know, because why wouldn't they just have her go through Miami?

01:14:57

But she snuck back in there, and we're going to learn a lot more about that story as well. Obviously, she's done a lot of things that I think make us all go, oh, gross. And we'll see one day when she admits that. But she's back there right now, and a lot of people are there supporting her over the Trump-backed Delcy regime. So Trump's got a lot of problems in Venezuela right now as well. And we're going to continue to focus on what's happening there. I'll do a longer take on this, so I'll just be very brief. about it. So yes, the Trump regime filed what's called an information or a criminal complaint in Washington, D.C. federal court against James Comey. Comey has filed a motion to dismiss. This criminal case was actually brought on October 5th, but the Trump regime filed it under seal. So we didn't know about the actions in this case until today, where a federal judge granted Comey's request to to unseal it. Their unsealing request came from Comey. It's also the very same day that Comey's daughter, Maureen Comey, won her federal civil case against the Trump regime for reinstatement and back pay, where a federal judge in New York found that her termination was entirely unlawful and the Trump regime's arguments about why they fired her was complete— completely frivolous.

01:16:14

Anyway, going back to the Comey case for moment. So there is a 5-year statute of limitations regarding this claim about leaking classified information or confidential information from the government. So 5 years would have expired 2021 because they're alleging on October 5th, 2016, Comey leaked some story about Yahoo doing better security features with the FBI. That's what this is about. Yahoo did better security features features to help future elections. And the Trump regime saying that that's classified information and that Comey's responsible for it. Now, the Trump regime didn't get an indictment where you have to go in front of a grand jury. They just filed a criminal complaint. When you're in federal court near the DOJ, you can file a criminal complaint. But if the other side doesn't waive indictment, which why would you waive an indictment unless you're going to plead guilty, you then still have to go in front of a grand jury to get an indictment within 30 days of service of the summons and the criminal complaint. So the Trump regime will have to get an indictment. In the meantime, Comey argued, dude, the statute of limitations was in 2021. The Trump regime says there is an espionage enhancement.

01:17:29

So that means we're going to extend the statute of limitations by 5 years because this Yahoo story was espionage. espionage. Thus, we are extending it to October 5th, 2026. That would be 10 years after October 5th, 2016. So they filed it the last day of the statute of limitations. But what the statute says on espionage extensions of the statute of limitations is that if you get the indictment on espionage, then it extends the statute of limitations 5 years after the fact. And Comey says you didn't get indictment. You just filed the complaint. So you've waived even— first off, this isn't espionage. And second off, you didn't file— you didn't— you didn't file the indictment within 10 years. All you got was a complaint. And the Trump regime's like, same thing. Not the same thing. Very different things. An indictment is different. Like 2 different things. It's like football versus golf. It's like balls. Okay. They're different things. Like literally different games, different different things. So that's why Comey has already filed— I feel like a lot of things have happened. He's already filed the motion to dismiss in one day. This has been going on since October 5th, where the Trump regime waited the very last day of an already blown statute of limitations that they're claiming is a 10-year because of espionage, which allows 10 years for indicting someone on espionage.

01:18:55

And Comey wasn't even indicted. It was a criminal complaint. So we're focusing on what's happened. That's the quick summary of what's going on there. Thank you, everybody. We appreciate you for watching. Go get WTF America. I could go on and on and on, but get WTF America: The Way Out of This Hell and Back to Democracy. It's the book that Elon Musk is trying to suppress. It's the book that the Trump regime is trying to suppress. And let me say this also.

01:19:17

If you like the book, tell a friend, right? Tell 2 friends, tell 5 friends. Word of mouth is going to be the biggest way that we get the word out. This has been so awesome seeing the community come together like this.

01:19:47

I'm gonna ask— I'm just gonna ask a little bit further, Brett. Tell a friend, yes, but also tell the world. A lot of these A lot of these platforms— so sorry. A lot of these— I'm sure that sounded great in people's ears. A lot of these platforms have reviews that actually like help boost it in their own little crazy algorithms. If you leave a 5-star review about the book, like that you get— like have to be like a verified book buyer in some of these instances. So it's like pretty cool and legit. It's all people that actually have bought the book. Please consider leaving a review because it's super helpful to help boost us on those platforms as crazy as that sounds.
