This is the Dan Laboratory Show with the Stuttgart's podcast.

00:00:19

Mike Ryan has fled the studio the way that Amin once fled the court when Tim Duncan roared after making a game winning shot. Mike Ryan has left because he's seen this face. He's seen this name. It's a 14 time NBA all star, MVP, finals MVP, NBA champion. And when I look on at him, on behalf of Miami, I think Izzy will vouch for me on this.

00:00:39

It is the highest compliment you can give in sports, which is I do not dislike this man even though he broke my heart. I must respect it. His excellence was such. I saw what those Miami teams became, and he slayed them not by himself, but it damn sure looked like it was by himself with him and JJ Bareilles on his back like a spider monkey, like a how like a howler monkey carrying them and beating Dwayne Dwayne, LeBron, and Chris Bosh. Izzy, am I wrong?

00:01:06

When you see this face, all you can give it is like with Kawhi Leonard. It's like, look, man. That 1 year, nobody was gonna stop you.

00:01:13

100%. So thank

00:01:16

you, Dirk.

00:01:17

Thank you, Dirk. No. But you know that you know that that's what you did to Miami that year. People were Dirk, people were questioning you.

00:01:26

Yes. That's true. But, you know, after 2,006, I had to, I had to come back and do something. Right? That was that was a tough year where, you know, we were up to all on you guys, and, we were in a great position to win it all.

00:01:40

And, there's just that whole week, you know, back in the days, there were still the 232, and that whole week in Miami where we lost 3 straight was like a week from hell. So, that'll never, never let me down, but I'm glad we we got back in 2011 and had the chance to, to redeem ourselves.

00:01:58

I'd be curious, Dirk, given how went in in 2,006. Like, I know a lot of people in retrospect will say, we were the better team. But you'd have a pretty good argument if you thought, those 3 games, Avery Johnson never stopped doubling Shaq. Like, if some things had changed there, it felt like Dallas was the better team. Would you ever say that having lost?

00:02:22

I mean, I don't know. We were up 2 o, and we were up, what, over 10 points in the in the 3rd game with 5, 6 minutes left. So, I mean, we we made a pretty good case over, over the almost 3 games that we were the better team. But, you know, you can never not close and say you were the better team. Now you can say maybe in a series of 1 game where you you lose, you can say, oh, we were a better team, but you can't say that in the 7 game series, that's the better team usually wins.

00:02:57

So I can't sit here and say we were the better team. I think we we definitely had our chances. But once once I think our experience wasn't quite there yet. Once we once we lost game 3, they came back. Game 4 was a complete blowout, and then there was so mental.

00:03:16

I mean, you guys were in our heads. We switched hotels. I mean, it it was that whole week, like I mentioned earlier, it was just, it was just 1 of the toughest weeks I've ever been a part of in in the NBA. So that's that was a week to forget. And then we came home, the down 3, 2.

00:03:33

Still have 2 home games. All we all had to do was, was win game 6, force into a game 7. We have a home game for game 7, and and we just couldn't stop the bleeding and win game 6. So, yeah, it does, When

00:03:45

I switched hotels, it was over. It was over. The Miami Heat knew it was over at that point, wasn't it?

00:03:52

Yeah. That was, I think that was just something coach Avery tried after after game 4, which is so ugly. We got we got blown out. It wasn't even close. And so, you know, he's like, pack your stuff.

00:04:06

We're leaving right now. We're leaving. And so, we all had to go upstairs, and and pack our bags and basically checked in somewhere and fought Lauderdale somewhere. And, it was, yeah. Once once it got that far, that was, that was pretty tough.

00:04:21

You guys were in our heads.

00:04:22

Dirk, I've never been more upset with players that wear Heat uniforms than I was when Dwayne and LeBron mocked you for supposedly not being sick. Like, why would you fake being sick? It's ridiculous. But that was part of, the relationship between you and Dwayne. He also had said something, I think, where you maybe weren't a great leader or something like that.

00:04:41

Could you describe sort of the relationship between you and Dwayne? Because you are 2 superstars who shouldn't be disliked by anybody, but for a stretch there, you disliked each other.

00:04:51

Yeah. I think it's it's started with competition. And with with competition every now and then, you know, emotions run a little high. And, and I think what's what started his, his comment was when I said, we shouldn't have lost that series. No.

00:05:06

I think I said obviously, I was frustrated. Afterwards, I said, they stole I think that he stole this, and we gave it away, something like that. And I think that really triggered him because he felt like that this was disrespectful to to their efforts and rightfully so. So that was totally me after losing, the series saying something that, you know, obviously wasn't true. And they, he played number, they were serious, and so they they obviously deserved it.

00:05:35

I just, I just felt like we we didn't quite execute. We didn't have experience. We didn't know how to close. So, I think that triggered it all, and then he said some stuff that I didn't appreciate. And so there was, you know, there was some, I would say, heated.

00:05:50

There was just some we kinda ignored each other for a couple years, and there was just no relationship. There was no no no talking, or even when we saw each other somewhere, there there was no conversation. So and then, and then yeah. And and 2011 is kinda fitting then that we saw each other again and, and, you know, you know, I it's always good now to say we're 1 and 1 with the Miami Heat and the finals. And so that's, that that's all it matters.

00:06:19

But we're super cool now. We're gonna obviously, we win the hall of fame, together last summer, and that was an incredible experience, a kind of a bonding thing. And, On his podcast, we actually had a little moment where we we talked about the or aired out some of the the stuff that was said. And, so I I think everything was kind of, you know, obviously in the in the heat of the moment and emotions and, but I don't have a problem with with with, obviously, Dwayne is the person that

00:06:47

That's fine. But I I want the innermost thoughts when you're in a room together and you see him, and you're like, I'm not gonna talk to him. And if he comes over here, I'm not gonna talk to him. Like, I want your innermost thoughts in there.

00:06:58

I I think it was just like, you know, we kinda both acted. The other person doesn't exist. I I think to this day and was it o 7 maybe in the all star game in in, in in Vegas? We were the only all star starters, that didn't high 5. They got the history of the all star game.

00:07:17

So, I think that was that kinda that kinda something that

00:07:21

So wait a minute. So you're pretending he's invisible. You're like, I'm not going to lay. I'm not going I'm competing with him at not letting him know I know that he exists over there.

00:07:31

We're both acting like the other person wasn't there. It was it was just awkward. And like I said, it was, it was just something silly, but, it it's it just it started with with both sides saying something that wasn't appreciated and then just we had I wouldn't even say there was just no relationship. Nobody neither guys wanted to talk to the other or wanted to have a conversation, and we left it at that.

00:07:55

Well, perhaps I can make you giggle with this and bring you closer to your good friends because insults and laughter are the shared intimacy of, of our language, among men in sports. So here you go. I'm gonna you a little bit. Give me all your honest thoughts here at this Dwayne Wade statue.

00:08:13

Well, he chose this moment, you know, the, this is this is my house. And, you know, it's actually it's the same artist, that that did mine in in Dallas. So I, I can't be too critical. Oh, no. So you

00:08:28

can't say that that looks like Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool after he's been burned?

00:08:35

Oh, man. The the weather is, it's cold outside here in, in Europe right now. But, no. It's, I you know, Dwayne was obviously involved from the beginning. So, that's obviously the the the most important thing.

00:08:49

If, if if he's happy and he feels like this represents him the right way, then, then then we all should be, should be moving on.

00:08:57

Meech, what are you laughing about?

00:08:59

No. It's just incredibly diplomatic.

00:09:00

It was so good. It was so nice. I tried to bait him into it. He wouldn't do it. John Ameci is here.

00:09:06

Dirk, do you remember ever playing against John Ameci?

00:09:09

He absolutely does not. I would have I would have been on the bench. He would have been on scoring, and I would have been on the bench.

00:09:14

Yeah. I I obviously remember you, from from Orlando. When when so when I got in the league, were you still in Orlando? Or I

00:09:21

think I think I may have been last year in Orlando.

00:09:25

I mean, can you find for me, please, some some head to head stats in Amici's games against Why would we do why would we do that, please?

00:09:32

1 of these 1

00:09:33

of 1 of the 2 of us talking has a statue, and the other 1 does not.

00:09:37

The other 1 is a statue.

00:09:39

You got

00:09:39

swag, beat his ass.

00:09:41

Oh, yeah.

00:09:42

I I I I noticed that Tony is not brave enough to suggest he could beat

00:09:47

you. To to Dirk?

00:09:48

Yes.

00:09:48

Dirk is a a childhood idol of mine. I wore 41 as a kid because of Dirk. I was a bigger kid.

00:09:53

That evaded answering the question.

00:09:55

I'm talking to my I'm talking to my childhood hero really quick, though. I was I was a bigger kid that had a jumper, and I always looked at Dirk and be like, if I can hit, like, a 1 legged fade away in the JCC at at 5 years old, like, I was a guy.

00:10:07

Again, I didn't

00:10:08

hear an

00:10:08

answer to the question.

00:10:10

What was the question?

00:10:11

He he was asking you we didn't wanna hear from what your jump shot was at 5 years old. We wanted to see whether you could if whether you feel like you if you played Dirk right now, how do you think you would do?

00:10:21

Do I get ball first or

00:10:22

no?

00:10:23

See, this is absurd.

00:10:24

Dirk, that guy in the back thinks

00:10:26

That's a yes. It's always a big question with me too. Is it make it take it? Who gets the ball first?

00:10:30

Exactly.

00:10:31

If you can't defend, then it's very important. Is it make it take it or who has the ball first? So I I get that. I ask that all the time too.

00:10:38

Okay. But he is in my studio in the back row, and he thinks he can beat you.

00:10:44

Yeah. I'm not quite sure about that. But, you know, I I do have some I do have some health issues.

00:10:50

So my mobility is, is is more

00:10:50

than suspect these days. But, suspect these days. But, listen, I'll just take 2 dribbles to put you down the block, and it's night night.

00:11:00

There you go.

00:11:00

The 1 legged fade away.

00:11:02

And there it is.

00:11:02

When I

00:11:03

grew up watching, he hit

00:11:04

it on me.

00:11:04

It's me. But what if you miss 1? It's what the Oh. But but Dirk, what if you miss 1?

00:11:09

He's He's gonna miss a little more.

00:11:10

So if I miss 1, I'm gonna play I'm gonna use my length and my experience. And so I'm gonna give you a little cushion. I'm gonna watch if you can hit the first couple. And then if you make 1 that I gotta make you, you know, do something else. You know, I just I use my length at at 7 feet with a long reach and, and see where this is taking me.

00:11:31

We're gonna test the lateral quickness for sure. Give you maybe an up and under, see if you can get around.

00:11:35

Dirk, I feel like lateral.

00:11:37

Dirk, I Listen.

00:11:38

I don't feel like you're moving all that well these days. 20 years of running up and down at that size.

00:11:44

You know what? Lateral movement was an issue at 25, so it for sure is an issue at 45.

00:11:49

He still has problems.

00:11:50

I wasn't known I wasn't known for, getting out there and showing on pick and rolls, and, that that was tough for me 20 years ago. You don't wanna see my lateral movement now.

00:12:01

Dirk, do you have 1 moment? I'm not talking about winning the championship, but at any point in any of these games, do you feel 1 moment that feels better than all the others? That at the end of a game, something you did where you were like, this is the best that this can feel trying to be excellent at this all my

00:12:24

life? Honestly, I wouldn't even say 2011 was a great run, but, some of the best playoff runs that I've had in my maybe the best run I've ever had was probably in 06 when when, when we we got to the finals. To beat to beat the Spurs in that 7 game series, and win game 7 on the road at the Spurs, was probably 1 of my greatest wins, the greatest achievements. They were always the big brother, the big rivalry, and they always beat us. And so to to get through there was just an amazing feeling.

00:12:59

You know, the the beat that team, they're obviously, we all know how good the team was, how well coached they were. And so to to get through there was probably the best series that I've been a part of over the whole 7 games and probably the best I've played over over 7 game stretch in my life.

00:13:17

We will tell the people about what you're doing with December 21st, World Basketball Day, but, I mean, just get me the head to head stats between Dirk Nowitzki and John Amushi.

00:13:27

Did you find it?

00:13:28

What a jerk.

00:13:29

I got them in front of me. You guys met 7 times. 7 times. 7 times. Okay.

00:13:33

I must have been on the bench a lot.

00:13:35

You played quite a bit a few minutes in the last meeting when you were playing for the Utah Jazz. You played 20 minutes. You were o for 4 in that game.

00:13:42

Nice. Nice.

00:13:43

0 points, 2 fouls, 4 rebounds. Dirk had 21 and 6, so pretty good job right there.

00:13:49

Yeah. I mean, not bad.

00:13:50

I feel like that's that's a pretty indicative matchup. Yeah.

00:13:53

That's but you

00:13:54

you were stick

00:13:54

as a You were 3 and 4 against Dirk in in your career. So Wow. You can hold your head high. Now if you want the averages, Dirk averaged 21.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, and, almost a block a game. You averaged 1.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and almost a turnover and a half a game.

00:14:11

So what's amazing about that is that that 2.3 points, that must be almost higher than my actual average. It is. You, you also held Dirk.

00:14:20

You raised

00:14:20

your average those nights.

00:14:22

Right. I I really picked

00:14:23

it up on those days.

00:14:24

And you also held Dirk below his averages. Like, those numbers are not as good as Dirk numbers. So you shut you basic

00:14:30

That is

00:14:30

You're basically a Dirk stopper as far as I can tell.

00:14:33

Know. That's nice. That's nice.

00:14:35

I would say let's leave it at that. Let's do it at that.

00:14:38

Tell us about what you're doing, Dirk, because you've become an ambassador for the game, World Basketball Day. You've always been an ambassador for

00:14:44

the game. The global impact of basketball, unity through the game,

00:14:44

you are doing what now in basketball, unity through the game, you are doing what now in terms of selling the game? Because right now, you're you the the NBA is taking quite the hit when it comes to, people are saying ratings are indicative that the sport isn't as interesting as it used to be.

00:15:03

Yeah. And I saw that too, and I'm not quite sure, what to say to that or what you know, whether if it's if it's young guys or young people don't really watch that much TV anymore or don't sit in front of a TV for 2 and a half, 3 hours anymore. I'm not quite sure. Is it really the game? Is it really that, you know, we're shooting too many threes?

00:15:24

I just don't see that being the main reason why people don't watch our game anymore. I don't really believe that. I'm sure there's lots of other things or factors going into that. If I knew the answer, I would probably work in New York in the in the commissioner's office. But, you know, for World Basketball Day, Luca is is launching its, its foundation.

00:15:49

And, you know, for 1 of his things that he wants his foundation to do is is help basketball worldwide. So he put together, like, a committee of of guys that, that help out and wanna, you know, give back and and grow the game and give back to the to the future players. And so, it's gonna be interesting. I think how he wants to do it, I'm gonna let him tell the story when the when it launches in a couple days. But there's some cool guys, some cool basketball minds.

00:16:18

Steph Curry's on the committee, me, Steve Nash, Graham Hill, lots of others. So I think we're we're just trying to help the game, grow and and develop in the right way. And and so we'll see what we come up with in in the next few years and then how we take this, which direction this will go. But I'm excited to be a part of it. And I'm, I'm surprised that Luca would make that 1 of his missions of the foundation, which is amazing at that at that age that he's already thinking about what can I do for the for the next generation?

00:16:49

So, I'm super glad and honored to be a part of it and we'll we'll see where this goes, where this grows.

00:16:56

Dirk, you're good friends with Steve Nash. You guys played together in Dallas and then Steve obviously went on to Phoenix. Did you guys ever talk about what would have happened had you guys stayed together?

00:17:07

Yeah. I know that's your guy. You know, I I'll I'll Steve, I sometimes, you know, go back and and think a little bit what if. I think there were a couple years there where some championships were for the taking. You know, we're starting in 05, maybe 06, 07.

00:17:27

Obviously, the Spurs were great. And then, you know, when when Powell went to Lakers, obviously, then then that they took over. Before that, KG and and Paul Pierce went to Boston. I mean, KG and Real and joined Paul Pierce. So that that would have been tough squads to beat.

00:17:45

But, right before then, I think there were some years where it would have been possible. But, hey, you know, you just never know. I think at the end of the day, us, you know, separating was probably also good for our careers. We we both, had to take on more responsibility and and we probably grew in ways that we might have not grown together, because, because of the responsibility we had to take, without each other. And, you know, that Phoenix team was just perfect for him, for his for his skill set, for the speed he played the game at, and, you know, the athleticism around him, which is perfect.

00:18:23

And so I don't know. I don't know. Like I said, there were some few years where

00:18:28

Oh, stop it, Dirk. Stop it with I don't know. Stop it. Dirk, I'm so tired. I'm so tired.

00:18:32

This Dirk, I'm so tired after 20 years. Like, the oh, was the diplomat. Like, stop. Alright? We love watching those teams.

00:18:38

You can say, yeah. We would've won a couple of championship. We should've stayed together.

00:18:41

Shot. Yeah.

00:18:42

Yeah. Yeah. You were great together. We loved watching it together. Yeah.

00:18:45

Ever the diplomat. Ever the I'm sorry to yell at you. Why am I yelling at you?

00:18:49

No. No. No. It was good. I needed it to wake up.

00:18:51

But, no. We had we had a great squad, and we we loved playing with each other and we had great chemistry. And so with data translated with you know, we have stayed healthy together. I mean, who knows? There's a thousand questions, but, I think we woulda had a good shot.

00:19:08

He is being basically brought to you on behalf of basketball. He's sponsored by basketball. It is December 21st. It's Saturday. It's World Basketball Day.

00:19:16

Don Libertard.

00:22:09

Bob Kraft, the only reason your organization is good is because of Bill Belichick. StuGats.

00:22:15

Belichick has done nothing since since Brady left. He made the playoffs once. I think at the very least, he should not be a first ballot hall of famer. They should make him wait, like, 10 years to get it. He's an overrated coach.

00:22:27

This is the Don Levittar show with the StuGods.

00:22:39

In the history of South Florida, there have not been a lot of enemies like that dude that the echo and the enduring thing is, oh, I really have to respect everything that was because he beat the respect out of me. Like, I knew the squad I had. It's I I knew what I had, and and Dirk beat them. And holy shit. How did he beat them?

00:23:00

Like, that what a great presence to walk in a room with. Like, I wish I could carry something that felt like that around. Walk into a city and then it's like, no. I I took down your dragon. Like, you were really proud of that team.

00:23:11

And he couldn't even move laterally.

00:23:12

He said

00:23:13

it himself.

00:23:13

Could could could you move that laterally and go ahead and recognize the 2nd best player I had on the, on that team in the street. Like, that's crazy what that do what that do did. Yeah. Can we do Stump the Meach? It's long overdue.

00:23:27

People love Stump the Meach. We gotta go out to Rose. People love Rose. She's becoming a star quickly around here, and she's got some legitimate toys now finally, so we could show off some toys. I, I told them to hurry up and buy all of those.

00:23:39

That's where they're making us look bad.

00:23:41

Match those.

00:23:41

They're make I'm not gonna match what I already just paid to put those out there. Can you please just, do we have imaging for something, Mitch? We don't have imaging. I this deserves imaging. How do we not have imaging for this?

00:23:52

Alright. Let's begin, Chris, Cody. How much do you dread this, Mitch, or are you excited right now?

00:23:56

Not at all.

00:23:56

I've won many times.

00:23:57

You have not won. Debatable.

00:23:59

Maybe a couple.

00:24:00

This is this is the problem that anyway, I've won many times.

00:24:03

You have not won many times. It's an impossible game to win. He's never won. Let's, let's play the first of Stuttgart's mispronunciation. Brahmaert?

00:24:16

Brahmaert? Brahmaert?

00:24:19

No idea.

00:24:20

Bremer? Is this the easy 1

00:24:21

that was talking off?

00:24:22

This is the easy 1.

00:24:23

It actually is. Bremer? That's not fair

00:24:26

to go this this hard. I'm

00:24:28

1 more time. 1 more time. 1

00:24:29

time. Bremer?

00:24:32

No. I don't know.

00:24:33

See, I know what it is, and I hear it clearly. It's 1 of those ones once I tell

00:24:36

you, you're gonna hear it. Is it 1 word or 2 words?

00:24:38

1 word.

00:24:39

I I I thought it was plumber.

00:24:42

I don't like when we guess before me,

00:24:44

Joe. Don't don't guess because otherwise, it pollutes

00:24:45

the street. I will say though, it's not plumber just to make take all the confusion. So

00:24:49

go on.

00:24:49

Do you remember? Do you remember?

00:24:56

I I it's 1 of 2 things, I think. I'm like,

00:24:58

anybody knows what you're saying.

00:24:59

Let's get Amici's guess, and then everybody else can try

00:25:01

to guess.

00:25:02

1 more time. Walmart?

00:25:05

No. I've I've got nothing.

00:25:06

I think bloomer, but that's all I can hear. Walmart? Walmart?

00:25:09

Remember? Roy got it right. Hey.

00:25:13

Remember. Wilmer. Wilmer.

00:25:15

Hey. I know my You got some

00:25:16

Now you

00:25:16

once I say it, no. Now you hear it.

00:25:18

Wilmer. Now you can hear it. Wilmer.

00:25:19

I no. I can't hear it.

00:25:20

No. It just sounds like

00:25:22

a frog. Alright. It does. It does.

00:25:25

Wilmer. If I told you you were sleeping at night Wilmer.

00:25:28

Wilmer. Wilmer. Where is that thing?

00:25:30

Get it out of here.

00:25:31

Call the cops.

00:25:32

It is

00:25:32

a frog.

00:25:33

It is a frog, actually. That's a really good callback. Yeah.

00:25:35

Wilmer. Outside your

00:25:35

window, I want you to imagine. Is it is it, is

00:25:36

it I want you to imagine. Is it is it, is it moving? You're you're hearing its ribbit.

00:25:43

It looks like Stugats. That's in my mind.

00:25:45

This

00:25:46

Let me hear the second 1. This is not great for me each to come out

00:25:49

on 1. It's everything's fine. Pizzit. Pizzit. Pieces?

00:25:56

Is it 1 word or 2 words? 1 word. Pizzit. Pizzit.

00:26:02

That is someone who's been

00:26:04

electrocuted. Pizzit. Pizzit. Bizet. This is the same this is the same swamp scene.

00:26:10

The frog is outside. That is a mosquito hitting 1 of those electrical things.

00:26:13

Yes. Wilmer?

00:26:16

It is as an animal. The world's most terrifying farm.

00:26:22

What am I?

00:26:23

It's that is a that's a toad. That is a toad that doesn't have 2 of its legs.

00:26:27

What am I?

00:26:28

Falls off on its side.

00:26:29

What am I?

00:26:32

Any guesses? Pieces? Is that your final answer?

00:26:35

Bizet.

00:26:38

Bizet. The mosquitoes are dying here, John. You gotta get an answer.

00:26:42

Any guesses around the room?

00:26:43

Because? Is it, is it former Panthers goalie John Van Beasbrook? Is it

00:26:50

Beas Beas Beas Beas No. This is business. Beas

00:26:55

What is he saying

00:26:56

it like that?

00:26:59

A yeah.

00:27:00

Like he's got his nuts in his eyes or something.

00:27:04

What, this is not going well because he's owing to It's fine. You're owing to. It's not fine. You're gonna lose.

00:27:12

Thank you for this vote. Thank you for being my friend.

00:27:15

I want you to be in it at the end. I want it to be close. I don't know.

00:27:18

He doesn't go home and cry after losing this debt.

00:27:21

That's because I've won many times.

00:27:23

Yeah. He's very competitive.

00:27:24

I'm listen. I'm fine. Alright. Number 3.

00:27:30

Dot dot dot dot

00:27:34

This isn't fair.

00:27:35

It's not a full word.

00:27:36

Is is that 1 word or 2?

00:27:38

It's 1 word.

00:27:38

What do you is that gonna be too fast?

00:27:40

No. No. No. Don't do that. Don't let don't gaslight me about this.

00:27:43

We've had many times where there's been an utterance that sounds like he's been shocked, and it's ended up being a complete sentence.

00:27:50

Dot. Dot. What animal is this in this haunting It's

00:27:54

like a rabbit.

00:27:55

This haunting garbage

00:27:57

Yeah. They're hopping. Garden.

00:27:58

It's a different frog.

00:28:00

Dot. Dot. It is.

00:28:01

It is a different frog. Dot.

00:28:02

Let's do

00:28:03

They're a species.

00:28:03

Let's do 2 frogs arguing with each other in the night. Rumor. In the night. That one's

00:28:09

so good.

00:28:11

Rumor.

00:28:13

Rumor.

00:28:14

Rumor. Dot.

00:28:17

Dot. And then just occasionally a mosquito getting hit in the background.

00:28:21

Is it you wait. Okay. So you you have that being the sound of a moth hitting that, the thing that kills them on the porch because they're

00:28:30

attracted to light.

00:28:31

That's exactly right.

00:28:32

That's exactly

00:28:33

right. You

00:28:34

got gas here?

00:28:35

Down to business. Dot. Dot.

00:28:41

Just keep going. You have no shot here.

00:28:42

Keep going.

00:28:42

I'm just gonna play this 1. This 1 I have full context so we can Sujakatsu will tell you the answer. He actually doesn't say it, but you'll know what it is.

00:28:47

I mean, I imagine he searched far and wide. Eddie just somewhat clear me, please.

00:28:52

He said he means to say doctor. He's looking for some athlete to be cleared, and he just says, doc.

00:28:56

So that's doctor.

00:28:57

Doctor Rivers?

00:28:58

That's doctor.

00:28:58

And then

00:28:59

and then him tased in the

00:29:00

middle of doctor. I would imagine if you search far and wide, any doc just somewhat clear me, please.

00:29:06

I wouldn't have got that in context.

00:29:07

Any doctor.

00:29:08

That's not fair. No. But listen to what he's saying.

00:29:11

Even when you give me the sentence, I didn't know that was doctor.

00:29:16

Do

00:29:16

you realize even if you told him it was doctor, you would stump him so much he would not know it is doctor. That that is I don't

00:29:24

understand how he can make the noise. That's the piece that's odd because I I it's almost like I need to see his lips moving to know. How do you make that? How does what happens to you?

00:29:33

Moneyball, if you get this 1, we're tied. This will be a moneyball. If you get this 1, we will be tied, and and then we will have a 5th 1 we can go to because everyone enjoys this. And everything's fine. Okay.

00:29:44

I I don't agree. Let's see what we have here. Brought up.

00:29:48

Brought up. Brod up. 3rd frog.

00:29:53

Oh, by

00:29:53

the frog. It really is. It is. It is. It is.

00:29:55

It is a it is a frog a frog farm. A it is a farm of frogs.

00:30:03

Broader

00:30:05

up. Broader up. Broader up.

00:30:09

I think it's is it 1 word? 1 word. Is it rumor? Say it? Rumor.

00:30:14

Rumor? That is incorrect. Any guesses from the room.

00:30:17

Let me hear it again. Broader up. Protocol? I was gonna guess protocol. Wow.

00:30:22

Yeah.

00:30:22

Let's see. That tool

00:30:23

was gonna be a concussion pro, protocol.

00:30:26

Oh, very good.

00:30:27

You're right.

00:30:27

It does feel good to win.

00:30:28

It does feel good to win.

00:30:30

I wish Mitch I wish he'd never felt it.

00:30:32

Yes. I have felt it.

00:30:33

Let's see what we have here. Give me another 1.

00:30:35

This is the final 1, and this is 2 words, and I will say it's 2 small words.

00:30:39

This is the only way you've won, and I will grant you the victory if you get this. If you get this 1, you win.

00:30:45

This 1 remember that you say this though because that time I

00:30:48

win this points. This you never win this way. You've never won

00:30:51

this way. This is what I'm talking to.

00:30:52

This is

00:30:52

some short words here. Damu. Damu.

00:30:57

Damu. Damu. Also a frog drowning. Damu. Damu.

00:31:02

Damu. Damu. Damu. Damu. Damu.

00:31:07

This is a frog diving. Damu. It's bouncing around on on the ground. It's just a very happy frog. Damu.

00:31:13

Damu.

00:31:16

Remember, 2 words.

00:31:17

The kimbe Mutamba. Damu.

00:31:20

Small words.

00:31:22

Got a got a guess, John?

00:31:23

No. Come just keep playing it. Damu. Damu. Damu.

00:31:32

Alright. Let's just see. You're not gonna get it's it's worth

00:31:34

a lot. You wanna take a guess, you might be able to win the first time ever. Just take a guess. You maybe you'll get it right like we got lucky on protocol.

00:31:41

1 more time. Dimu Demu Demu No. I've got nothing.

00:31:49

No. Jesus.

00:31:50

00:32:04

Is a. Oh, no.

00:32:06

The is is not in there.

00:32:07

In the small in the small sound he played, is is not in there.

00:32:13

Dan is a move, is a more relaxed person.

00:32:15

You've missed a piece of it. But you've missed a p You've missed

00:32:19

We also dive deeper on his rivalry with Dwyane Wade and just how frosty things got at one point in time. Plus, Amin goes deep into the archive to find the stats from when Dirk and John Amaechi matched up back in the day and we make a shocking revelation that Meech may have been a Dirk Stopper.
