Our Show with the Stugats podcast.

00:00:39

Against the spread.

00:00:48

Against the spread. Against the spread. Tony? Why don't you get us going here on against the spread? Do you have a read?

00:00:56

I was going to do it at the end. Oh, you're going to do it at the end. Okay, perfect. Well, we're going to get spread. And, Jeremy, you may not like this one. I'm going to take the Charlotte Horn. It's minus seven and a half. I think it's an absolute buzz saw waiting to happen for the Miami East.

00:01:09

Did you say that because of Buzz City? Two...

00:01:11

Thank you. Who have played two games against the Nets who are absolutely terrible and tanking and not good whatsoever. They've gotten their confidence up. They've gotten their mojo up. They think they're going to go and play against this Hornets team in a way that they haven't been played against in a while, and they're going to get beat by 10 or more. So I'm going to take the Charlotte Hornets minus seven and a half against the spread.

00:01:31

41 and 22 against the spread. One of the best in the NBA, Charlotte Hornets. Thank you, Trista.

00:01:36

That is a great piece of advice. I wish we talked this out a little bit more because that was going to be my against the spread, too.

00:01:44

Why did Tony thank Trista for what the Hornets are doing?

00:01:47

Because we're Hornets guys.

00:01:49

We're Hornets guys. Don't turn around. I'm pointing. We're Hornets guys.

00:01:51

You're going to see my heart break. I'm going to go with my backup pick, which is the Chicago Blackhocks minus one and a half. A tricky team name. Don't say it too slow. Chicago. I'm going to take a minus one and a half. It looks like Vancouver selling at this deadline. They're already losing some players. By the way, I like what the Blue Jackets are doing. Love the DJs. Me, too. A-o. Against the spread. Against the Spread is brought to you by DraftKings. Draftkings. The Crown is yours.

00:02:21

Yo, why you laughing? I did that on purpose.

00:02:25

Yeah, got to turn the mic on.

00:02:26

Did you see today at 4: 00 4: 00 PM, there is a very big roundtable that is taking place today.

00:02:36

Is that the one at MIT Sloan? I thought that was at 5: 30.

00:02:38

There is a roundtable taking place at the White House.

00:02:43

Okay, all right. Explain this to me. And then, Dave, I got a bonus pick with you because you seem to have a team of scoop that I don't know about. So for the audience, what are you talking about, Zaz?

00:02:54

There is a College Sports Roundtable.

00:02:59

Not a symposium?

00:03:00

Roundtable. And the people sitting at the Roundtable today at the White House at 4: 00 PM Eastern today, you may be aware, President Trump is going to be at the Roundtable. Also at the Roundtable, Ron DeSantis. That's right. He's going to be there.

00:03:24

So far, my party.

00:03:25

How about the President of the New York Yankees, Randy Levine?

00:03:31

Dream blunt rotation.

00:03:32

And you got some all-time great college football coaches, nick Saban, Urban Meyer.

00:03:42

All right. That's where I draw the line. I got a problem with that guy.

00:03:44

Mac Brown.

00:03:46

He's cool. All right.

00:03:47

And invited as well. They haven't named the names. Powerful Commissioners, Athletic Directors, Presidents. There are some others who expect to be there. Guys like Tiger Woods are invited, Adam Tim Tebo is invited.

00:04:01

He was invited. Dave, is he going to be there?

00:04:05

As far as I know, what do I know if he's going to be there?

00:04:08

I asked you, is Tebo going to be there? He said he's not going to be there.

00:04:12

I said he's online. What do I know? His schedule? Well, I read online. Same as you. He's not going to be there. I don't know. Why do I wear him? I'm a Tim Tebo.

00:04:20

You told me he wasn't going to be there because I have this whole- I thought he wasn't going to be there.

00:04:24

I told you that. End of story.

00:04:26

I got one of these takes. I got one of these takes. An awful announcing I'm just going to put out if I talk about it. It revolves around Tim Tebo being there. First off, you rattled off a bunch of names. Curious, no active college athletes. They're not at this table. That tells you everything you need to know. This is about Taking the power away from the people that are actively playing the sports right now who are actually bringing in the revenue, the labor. Curious. It's a bunch of coaches. It's a bunch of commissioners. It's Bryson DeChambeau for some reason. They're all there, but active football players aren't there. It'd be cool. Invite Jeremiah Smith. Invite anybody that is inclined to possibly unionize. I don't know how you reshape this without the labor, unless you're trying to actively cut the labor out, which seems pretty unfair. Now, the Thibault thing is interesting because given what he does with his charitable efforts and his foundation, he just spoke to Congress, and he was really impressive. He does legitimately good work. Tim Thibault is an amazing guy. He's an amazing guy.

00:05:28

He really is. He is the best.

00:05:31

I can readily admit that. Did you see what he said to Congress a couple of days ago about human trafficking?

00:05:37

Well, that's a main part. That's his foundation. That's their MO. He deals with abuse and human trafficking. Child exploitation. Yeah, that dude's a real deal, man.

00:05:49

Real good, important work. I can understand why Donald Trump invited him, because that lends credibility to Donald Trump and being pictured next to Tim Tebo, who is fighting this good fight, really helps Donald Trump, who- By the way, I have the name wrong of the Roundtable.

00:06:03

It's not just a college sports roundtable. It's being referred to as Saving College Sports Roundtable.

00:06:10

All this is, is yet another time that this administration reaches out to sports when Their publicity is really, really bad and they can use people normalizing them so they can grift off of strong reputations like Tim Tebo. I hope he snuffs it out and says, No, no, no, you're not going to use me here. Also, runs a little counterintuitive. For me, a champion of of fighting against child exploitation and human trafficking to line up in the same photo frame with Donald Trump, who today, in today's Epstein file dump, is accused by an underage accuser of sexual assault. And yes, you could say unsubstantiated, unverified, but it's in there. And what is verified is the at least 28 sexual assaults in his past. And what is irrefutable is there is an active cover up here. You may say Donald Trump has nothing to do with it. Okay, that's on you. But these people aren't being brought to justice, and it runs against what Tim Tebo is fighting for. So I genuinely hope he's not in the same photo frame and not given Donald Trump what he so severely needs at this moment, which is more normalization.

00:07:17

Neither is Congress, by the way, not being held accountable for their vote yesterday.

00:07:20

That's another story for me. Yeah, I saw that. You know what? Fingering around, bipartisan. Keep it going.

00:07:26

Go ahead, Dave. Well, I guess they say The silver lining here is I can't imagine that this has any practical value. Once it's finished, where does it go from there? Is anything they decide today, whether it's a roundtable, a symposium, or maybe option three, a blue ribbon panel, whatever it is, what are they going to resolve and what value will it have to the rest of the world? They, Bryson DeChambeau decided this. Who cares?

00:07:58

I also hate to the one to just point out that women's sports has been a huge piece of what's driving the NIL growth and revenue. And these girls are huge stars like Nija Kennedy, who plays for Texas Tech, a college softball pitcher. And there's nobody representing women's sports on this panel either. But I think they're very pro labor, and so that goes in line with what you're saying, Mike.

00:08:20

We all know what's happening here. It's the same cast of characters always that he turns to, and he gets what he wants, and nothing really gets accomplished here. But if we're just listening to those voices, those voices have been on the record for what they want. And ultimately, it always means less power for the labor. And when you don't have the labor represented, when you don't have women represented, you're already telling everybody what your end game is.

00:08:43

True patriots. Not left versus right, grotesquely wealthy versus the rest of us, as I've been saying for a number of years. Zazlo, I'm curious, how happy were you when Tebo won the national Championship with Florida? Since you're a U fan, You're a Florida graduate, but you root for the U. San Fe.

00:09:04

Don't say that again. I have a degree from a university. From San Fe. All right. Nope. If my life depended on stepping foot right now on the campus of Santa Fe Community College, I'd be dead because I have no idea where it is. I have no idea where it is. I'd be dead. All right. It'd be really sad. How did Zazlo die? You guys know I'd get Santa Fe. That'd be what happened. We died. Come on. What are we talking about here? I was very happy when Tebo won. You were? Yeah, it's my school. I'm very proud that I went to the University of Florida, and I'm not looking forward to the day that you have Miami versus Florida in a college football playoff game. That would not be fun for me. Do you know what?

00:09:49

I suspect what I always say, people always say, What if Pitt and Indiana ever played in the final four, the college football play? Do you know? I always say, It's not a decision. I make intellectually. It will be made by my heart and my gut. Is that where you come down?

00:10:04

Yeah, I would have to just feel it, I guess, in the moment. Look, Miami's success is best for business when it comes to what I do for a living. So ultimately, I want Miami. Miami doing well is the most important thing. But yeah, I'm super proud that I went to school University of Florida. And Tebo, I mean, man, look, obviously, knew about him from afar as a fan or as a graduate University of Florida. I met Tim Thibault, had a conversation with him for the very first time only a few months ago. He gave me and Amber Wilson a lot of time on our show, College Football Campus Tour. And I could tell you, the real deal. Everything you hear about him, everything people say about him, he's all of it. Just a pleasure to talk.

00:10:58

This episode is sponsored by Our Better Help. March is one of those months where we talk about celebrating women, and it's very, very deserved because when you actually look around, a lot of women in our lives are carrying a ton. Work, family, relationships, expectations, nobody notices or sees. I started thinking about the women around me, my wife, my mom, my sister, my friends, my coworkers, people who somehow take care of everybody else while still trying to hold it together themselves. And it's a ton to carry. Therapy can be a place to put some of that weight down. It can help you figure out what's yours, what isn't, and how to set better boundaries so you're not running on empty all the time. Betterhelp works with fully licensed therapists in the US, and they handle the matching process for you. You fill out a short questionnaire, and if your therapist isn't the right fit, you can switch at any time. Quick break to tell you about special Miller time I had with my good buddy, Mochetta. Mochetta texted me the other day. He said, Hey, what are you doing for the game? I said, I'm just on my couch right now doing nothing, enjoying it. He's like, Hey, do you want some company? I said, From you, Mochetta? Absolutely. Absolutely. Mochette comes over to the house and I pull out the Miller light. Miller light made that casual hang, a memorable good Miller time with my good friend, Mochetta, because Miller light brought us together. We took that first sip after we toasted our beers, and we knew we made the right call. We watched the game. All of a sudden, we're standing up on our feet. Big threes are being drained and white cans are being clanged. See times like these? That's exactly why Miller light is my go-to. Clean, refreshing, easy to drink, brewed for taste with simple ingredients. The original light beer since 1975, and it still hits different for yours truly and his good friend Mochette. 00:14:04

It's a good algorithm.

00:14:06

This is the Dan Levatard Show with the Stugatz.

00:14:16

My first interview on Radio Row was Thibault, and he was doing avocados from Mexico, and he brought chips and avocado, but he's keto, doesn't eat. Thibault is keto, it rimes. He doesn't eat chips. And I got him to eat a chip with me, and he hugged me, enveloped me, and my mom texted me, and she goes, Who's that big, musly guy with the big white T-shirt You guys have a little thing, thing going on. And I go, No, mom. No, Mom. Me and Tim Tebo don't have a little thing, thing going on. So I see him a couple of days later, and he's at the direct TV party. He goes, So, hey, how did the video come out? Did everybody like it? I was like, Yeah. It was so weird, though. Mom's, they're just crazy. She was like, You and that guy, Tebo, were popping off the page. You guys had a little chemistry and electricity I was like, That's crazy, right? And he goes, You know moms, they always know. And I go, What?

00:15:21

Tim Tebo, play it?

00:15:22

And I said, Wait, so you're saying that- Play it for real? You're saying that there actually is some chemistry between me and you? He goes, You think? Absolutely. Don't you feel it? And I was like, All right, see you later.

00:15:33

He broke ketosis for you. I think Tim Tebo is everything people say about him. He is truly a pillar, a man of integrity, a tremendous college football player. And as a Miami fan, that one stings. I saw him break my team over his knee. He is a tremendous guy.

00:15:51

What the hell are you talking about? Are you just going to go on with praising Tim Tebo?

00:15:56

No, it's a setup. It's a setup to chop him down. It's a setup to chop him down.

00:16:00

Can you hear the headline?

00:16:03

I sincerely hope he doesn't allow himself to be used in this instance, because that's what it is. And he will be going there with sincere intentions to actually help reshape what a lot of people think, and even I think. And even I think it's a Wild West right now. College football absolutely needs reshaping. College athletics absolutely needs reshaping. But it needs reshaping through collective bargaining with the labor and the power. And it takes the power and the administrators to take less money. They don't want to do that. They don't want to do that whatsoever. So I hope that Tim Tevo does not get used because he, for all the reasons that I listed before, I was undercut by Dave Damoschek. Is exactly the guy that you go to boost your credibility.

00:16:49

I just don't understand what's going to come in this meeting.

00:16:50

Well, also, you were undercut by his absence at the symposium.

00:16:54

Yeah. Well, if he's not going to be there, I'm going to be pretty jacked up about it. Everybody I have very low expectations, given the names that are there. But to answer your questions as, nothing is going to come of this. Because any time he tries to talk about college sports with any of the same cast of characters, it always ends up being something about the NFL kickoff rule.

00:17:16

I know we mentioned last night in the NBA, there were some big games, big story lines. But tonight, Mike, have you seen these games? Have you seen this slate of NBA action here this evening?

00:17:28

Yes, absolutely. I have. I'm super into Heat Hornets because this has become an epic battle of Wills, really. Game of the Century. Yeah, it's huge. It's a huge game for Jeremy, and that's on the line. It really is. I didn't expect to be in this position, but here we are. Heat at Hornets, biggest game of my life. New York versus Denver. Denver is in that class of three and a half teams. I know you're still bullish on the T-Wools, and you think they belong in that tier. But I think New York has played exceptional basketball lately. It seems as though Mike Brown navigated what was a difficult stretch, where everyone was asking, Hey, is Mike Brown going to be fired here? Mike Brown is good.

00:18:04

He stinks.

00:18:05

I'm sorry. Mike Brown is usually good for the one year. Yeah. He's good for the one year, and then he wears out his welcome. So this is that one year. And I'm into it. Like I said, I like this wide open NBA. It's a whole new world. We also have Jason Tatum coming back. There's a lot riding on that one for me, too, how that's been positioned.

00:18:25

So that's the big story tonight. Jason Tatum, 10 months after tearing his Achilles, is making his return in front of the home crowd at the Garden as their host of the Dallas Mavericks tonight. And the most important question, very clearly, for a Boston Celtics team that is second in the Eastern Conference. They are 41 and 21. Very clearly, the question that needs to be asked. Jalen Brown, Jason Tatum, whose team is it? Wow. Is there going to be a schism where Jalen Brown, he's having an MVP caliber season? And now Jason Tatum returns. And Tateum has been the number one guy these past years. What if the game is close time? Who takes the shot at the end of the fourth quarter? This could be a problem in Boston.

00:19:19

Tateum is going to play 10 minutes tonight, so I don't think we'll even get to the point.

00:19:24

Well, that's just tonight.

00:19:25

It's a long time.

00:19:26

I do think at this point, though, we can say say that this team is just as good with Jalen Brown as the first option. And Tatum, defensively a monster, long, athletic, definitely one of those players who wants to play on the perimeter, though, And I think that's the biggest flaw for Tateum is that he settles for jump shots, he settles for threes instead of putting his head down and getting to the rim, which we know Jalen Brown has no problem bowling people over.

00:19:58

I think it's Derek White's team. That's also true. I'm fascinated by this. I think they're right to only play in 10 minutes, not just for his body, but also it's going to be an acclimation process, I think, for the rest of the team. Again, not a hot take when you consider the usage rate for Jason Tatum. But I know Dan's super bullish on the boss in Celtics. We obviously take them seriously, but we anticipate Jason Tatum being a big part of their playoff push, so let's see what they got.

00:20:27

Now, if you If you need advice from a former NBA player about sacrifice, maybe taking a step back, because that could be what Jason Tatum is going to have to do, at least for this time being now. He's jumping on board. We're 60 games in. Jalen Brown's have an incredible season. Maybe Jason Tatum's role has got to be a little bit different. Well, if you're looking for advice from a former NBA player on sacrifice, wouldn't you think that Carmelo Anthony is a guy who could probably give you really good advice on sacrificing for the betterment of the team. Would Carmelo be a guy who maybe would come to mind?

00:21:10

I'm not coming off the bench.

00:21:12

So how about Carmelo Anthony? All right. This is from his podcast, 7: 00 PM in Brooklyn. Yes, he's got a podcast because if you don't have a podcast, you're a huge loser. And here's Carmelo Anthony. He knows all about sacrifice.

00:21:26

Because for so long, JT was the The sacrificed everything, right? Now, JT, what are you going to sacrifice? You mean JB sacrificed everything? Yeah, JB sacrificed everything. He was a sacrifice guy.

00:21:44

I don't know if there's a player in the history of the NBA that I would take sacrifice advice from less than Carmelo Anthony.

00:21:50

I don't get the name of the podcast. Was it named that because that's what the Zoom meeting was? Was he talking about me? Jt? No. No? Decidedly, no.

00:21:58

I'm just saying- That one game's tipped I'm just saying, Dave, we need to keep an eye. If we're going to be fair, if we're going to be impartial as media, we need to keep an eye on any potential schism there could be between Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum returning and trying to take back the reins of his team from Jalen Brown.

00:22:18

Risk of schism, low. I thought that actually no jive policy being applied here. I was more bullish on the Celt until last week when our mutual pal, Amin, pointed out rightly that the Celts were on the cusp of getting eliminated when Jason Tate was still healthy in the playoffs. I still think at the end of it all, they're the best team in the East right now, so they would be my pick. I'm not as concerned about the chemistry and reintegrating Jason Tatum, high-end player, into a good basketball team. So much as I am, okay, reintegrate him and get back to where you were a year ago. And if you do that, is that going to be good enough? Because it was just about to not be good enough when Tatum, like I say, was healthy, when he was crossing the 10-second Stripe and then ripped his Achilles.

00:23:11

Yeah, but they melted in the sun, Shaq. Come on. That wasn't really the best version of what we've seen from the Celtics because we've seen them win the title with that squad. And yes, they did lose Drew holiday, and yes, they did lose Chris Dapp's poor Zingas, but they didn't really need much KP when they won the title, and they figured out ways to continue to be just as good in all of the nerd stats as they were in their title year. And this is a pretty wide open East this year.

00:23:40

That's what I agree. I mean, I think that's ultimately why I return to the Celtics. I'm unimpressed by the other options. The Knickerbockers, that's who it means riding with. Come on.

00:24:22

It sounds to me like everybody could use a hug because a hug is always the right size. It's too All I have put in my body today is three cups of coffee and an entire cup of honey.

00:24:37

Don't let him fool you.

00:24:38

He said in the break that he's jittery.

00:24:40

This is the Dan Levatard show with the Stugatz.

00:24:53

Dave, do we have a little tea versus tea action today?

00:24:57

Oh, yeah. Listen, two opposite ends of the spectrum of masculinity here in the 21st century. What? Sizeable Cuban, Tony. He's right.

00:25:08

The hell are we doing here?

00:25:09

That's right. Sizable? Sizeable Cuban. Put that in your bio.

00:25:12

Thank you, Dave. The Semitic war in Shades, Tashay. Time for another addition of-He's Cuban, too. Just not sensible. I'm trying to draw distinctions, not similarities. I don't want to find the overlap on the Venn diagram.

00:25:28

Go ahead and put Semitic warrior in your bio. Super weak, Semitic warrior, beta. And don't forget, keep MAGA.

00:25:35

You have enough of that shit.

00:25:38

Hot MAGA.

00:25:39

All righty, here we go down our most popular sport. Once again, I'm going to return to Pro Football. And I'm going to do like we did last time. If you recall, a week ago, it was Super Bowl losing quarterbacks. Today, it is Super Bowl MVPs who were and are not quarterbacks, non-QBs who have been named Super Bowl MVP. Tony, I'll let you make the choice. Up first or next.

00:26:13

I'll go second. I'll let Jeremy go first.

00:26:15

Okay. Classy, classy.

00:26:17

Is this the same song? Yeah.

00:26:21

Do I have to make a colada?

00:26:24

Tarell Davis.

00:26:27

Very good. That took way too long.

00:26:30

I mean, yeah, he struggled with the first one. This ain't going to go for it.

00:26:33

It's going to go back to him really quick.

00:26:35

No, it's not.

00:26:35

This Super Bowl MVP, KW3, Kenny Walker III.

00:26:40

I mean, come on, man. Come on, Tash. It was a couple of weeks ago. Go ahead.

00:26:47

Oh, come on. Yoy.

00:26:49

Yoy and double yoy. Yoy.

00:26:53

Kurt Warner.

00:26:54

Trista, feel free to jump in. What did he just say? What did he just say?

00:26:59

You're going to give He's going to give an aneurysm.

00:27:00

You're going to give him an aneurysm.

00:27:03

Oh, okay. Right. That's right. It is a callback.

00:27:06

But now, Tony has to get one in order to claim the victory now, right?

00:27:09

I will give you one. Is that really your answer, Tadjian? He's got nothing. I told you he's got nothing.

00:27:12

I got a lot of stuff to juggle here.

00:27:14

He's got I believe James White.

00:27:16

You like football, right?

00:27:18

He doesn't like football.

00:27:19

James White is not the correct answer. James White didn't win it.

00:27:21

He should have won it, but he didn't win it. Sudden death? I know that.

00:27:25

Wait, Jesus.

00:27:26

This is a crappy over time. I can tell you who's not. What? If you gave me like, Is this person a Super Bowl MVP? I guess probably not.

00:27:35

Wait, you can name people that have not won a Super Bowl MVP? Yeah. That's impressive, Tad. Yeah, I can. You could start in that room. Dan Moreno, not one of Super Bowl MVP.

00:27:47

He is the Symmetric warrior. Okay, good.

00:27:52

And the Semantic warrior.

00:27:54

Well, Dave, I don't think we had a winner there. I'm anti-Semitic.

00:27:57

I don't think we did either. I didn't expect to run out of gas that quickly. What a disgrace between the two of you. Mike Ryan and Zaz, do you want to pick it up where they left off and see how far you two can take it?

00:28:11

Troy Brown.

00:28:13

No. You suck at this. He's not Troy Bronson.

00:28:16

Troy Bronson didn't win Super Bowl MVP.

00:28:17

Wow.

00:28:18

Deon Branch.

00:28:19

Deon Branch, you're confusing.

00:28:20

I am confusing them. Yes, I am. I won. My boss.

00:28:24

You guys are Miami Dolphins fans, aren't you? Think about Miami Dolphins. Bob Grease, he didn't get it.

00:28:31

Zanca.

00:28:32

Nobody. Larry Zanca is one answer. And of course, Dan Marino didn't get it. But one of the great trivia questions out there is a Miami Dolphin who wore the number 13 was a Super Bowl MVP. It wasn't Dan Moreno, though. It was Jake Scott, two interceptions in Super Bowl 7. Brother, this is 25 years before. All right. You know what? Let's get another one.

00:28:58

Can we get another one there?

00:28:59

Different category. Yeah, here we go. Vii?

00:29:04

I mean, you guys, I don't know if you heard, but you haven't won a Super Bowl since that era. Shouldn't you know it? Shouldn't you hold it dear? Shouldn't it be precious to you since it's the last time you saw Lombardi?

00:29:18

The spirit of '77 is the only title I acknowledge in Portland Trailblazer's lore, so yes.

00:29:25

Well, I did prepare yesterday, and it was way too gargantuan a list for me as it turns out. My wife, I should mention, was embarrassed. She didn't hear the show last week in which I announced I didn't know any Mariah Carey songs besides her Christmas classic. I told my wife about that, and I said, They were giving me the business. Isn't that weird? She said, What are you talking about? You don't know any Mariah Carey songs. Yeah, you do. I said, I didn't know. They were playing me some. She said, That's absolutely impossible. Then she started playing me more, and I said, I really don't I don't know any of these. I did know, though, Old Dirty Bastard. She did one with ODB, right? I did recognize that tune. I had a long list of Mariah Carey songs. We could do that one.

00:30:11

Wow. I think Jeremy's got me there.

00:30:15

Do it. Good for you, Tony.

00:30:18

Are we doing it? I'm glad.

00:30:20

I'm glad you can't get that one. Tony, can you get this one?

00:30:23

There's a reason you called him what you called him, and you called me the what?

00:30:25

Beta semantic warrior?

00:30:28

Tony, Let's play NHL player or prescription drug. Here we go.

00:30:33

Yes, my wheelhouse.

00:30:34

Gostebiere. Gostebiere. Keynes Winger, Shane Gostebiere, or Ethiosus vulgaris treatment, Gostebier.

00:30:49

Obviously, you know I'm a big Keynes guy, and I don't know if you're pronouncing his name correctly. I think it's Gosta-Schmier.

00:30:59

He made It's an addict.

00:31:01

He's from Florida. Shane Gostebier. Come on, man. You're the only person in the room I would ask that question to.

00:31:08

He's definitely not a winger.

00:31:12

What, Canes guy? Mike Ryan. This is a listener submitted one.

00:31:16

All right.

00:31:17

Zerzivay. Zerzivay. The Seattle crack and 6'4 sturdy defenseman, Ryan Zerzivay, or postpartum depression treatment, Zerzivay.

00:31:29

Wow, I'm not really that dialed into the crackin, but I think he's a crackin.

00:31:35

No.

00:31:36

It's a postpartum depression drug.

00:31:39

Zerzivay.

00:31:40

Zerzivay.

00:31:41

You know about that postpartum? Wow.

00:31:44

Truthfully.

00:31:46

Here's one from Amine L. Hassan. He submitted this one via text. Tepesa. Tepesa. Clint Tepesa, fourth-line defenseman for the Chicago Blackhocks, or bulging eye treatment. Tepesa. Tepesa.

00:32:04

Bolging eye treatment?

00:32:07

That's right.

00:32:08

All right. I will... I think it's a hockey player.

00:32:14

Tepesa. Is, in fact, the Rx if your eyes are bulging out of your head. Is that a thing?

00:32:22

It happened to you, we could have named you MVPs. Yeah.

00:32:25

Well, touche. Yeah, I know. If I Can we attend a symposium about bulging eyes? Maybe I'll learn about that infirmment. I didn't know it. It existed. Here we go, Tashay. Perfetti. Perfetti, the first round draft pick who's having a down year. Jet Center, Cole Perfetti. Or Atrial Fibrillation Treatment, Perfetti. Perfetti.

00:32:53

I will say the first-round draft pick who's having a down year. Jet Center Cole Perfetti or Atrial Fibrillation Treatment Perfetti. Perfetti. I will say the first-round draft pick who's having a down year. Cole Perfect. We like his ceiling.

00:33:04

Number 91 himself. I like his uniform.

00:33:08

You like their uniform?

00:33:11

Not too bad. I like two-toned blue. I think that looks pretty nice. Trista, last one for you. Lechemby. Lechemby. Knux Vet, Belgian goal tender, Victor Lechemby, or Alzheimer's treatment. Lechemby Lechemby. Lechemby.

00:33:33

Alzheimer's treatment.

00:33:38

Lechemby is, in fact, an Alzheimer's-There you go. There you go.

00:33:43

Yes.

00:33:45

Excellent. Chris is not going to need it anytime soon.

00:33:47

It was the Belgian part for me. You don't see many of those in the NHL.

00:33:52

I was like, I don't think that's the same.

00:33:55

Another award-winning addition.

00:33:56

There are Belgians in the NHL, I think.

00:34:00

Trista, have you seen why is Logan Paul trying to fight NFL players?

00:34:06

Arrogance, trying to get headlines, which he did. It was the lead story.

00:34:11

But it's Logan Paul, not Jake Paul, right? But I'm not saying... I mean, Logan Paul is a WW Superstar. Jake Paul is the one who's boxing.

00:34:18

And I think Logan's also boxing.

00:34:19

Well, no, he has box, but he's not committed to boxing anymore. He wants to fight a current NFL. He's asking for a current NFL player to step to him.

00:34:27

Didn't he fight Money Mayweather?

00:34:29

Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:34:30

Did he fight Pacquiao or no? No. No, no, no.

00:34:34

Did anyone fight Pacquiao, that's a YouTuber? No, I don't think so.

00:34:38

It sounds right, but I don't think it was Logan. But Logan has fought even more recently, I think, than the Floyd Mayweather.

00:34:46

Yeah, he fought Jacob Fatou last week.

00:34:48

Who? All right, there's a lot of people. You and I, we're both marks, but not the dorky wrestling fans, the cool ones. I know Logan Paul to be incredibly athletic. He's got the boxing bona fides. He went the entire fight without getting knocked out by Floyd Mayweather. I know that there is a sizable difference in their stature. But Logan Paul is a really tremendous athlete. He's incredibly-Incredible. He knows how to box. He's not an idiot when it comes to fighting.

00:35:17

The NHL news, it never stops. Dave Damosheck's favorite squad from Michael Ruso hearing the Minnesota Wild are working toward a potential trade for flyers forward, Bobby Brink. I wonder if they're dangling David Yurisek or a prospect of that ilk.

00:35:36

The hell does that have to do with my favorite team? You hate the Wild. I know, but you hate the name Minnesota Wild. I hate the name Wild. I hate the team Wild, but I do like their uniform.

00:35:46

It's very confusing. Dave, I do like your solution for a Miami Heat player referring to themselves as a hot. What do you refer to if you're a Wild player?

00:35:55

I think that's one of the things that keeps you from going to Minnesota as a free agent. Is I don't want to play for a team that's named the Wild. That makes no sense. I'm a Wild man. I'm a Wild man. So it's strategy off my list. I'm a Wild man. Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, that's good.

00:36:08

I think he's back in. Yeah, you're back in. Wild. Cookey. Yeah. All right. I do like it now. I actually do think Logan Paul can beat up in a boxing match. I do, too. Most NFL players. Look, let's do this, the fun one, because- He cannot beat up most NFL players. Yes, he can. Most. All right. Let's not talk about... Because Trent Williams, again, they're weight classes for a reason. I think Trent Williams would beat him up. I get that. There's a couple of examples. Max Crosby. I know him. He does some training, right? He does training with Jake Glazer. Max Crosby, also two X's in his name. You don't want to find anybody with two X's.

00:36:41

Can you imagine he had three X's in his name?

00:36:44

He should. But let's just do this with the quarterbacks, because I think this one's interesting. It's the best position in all of sports, the most famous. Is there a quarterback in the NFL you think can beat up Logan Paul, Dave?

00:37:00

Josh Allen. No way. No way. You just said weight classes. Josh Allen outweighs him by 40 pounds. He has to grab him and lean on him.

00:37:09

Yeah, but they're of similar stature, right? And I know Josh Allen is a tough son of a gun. I like watching him play. But does he know how to fight?

00:37:20

Because Logan Paul knows how to fight. I'll take Sebastian Janakowski to just kick him. How about that? Kick his ass.

00:37:24

See that? All right, okay. If we're making this mixed martial arts, then Logan's got him totally down because he's got the wrestling base.

00:37:33

But Janakowski can chop him with leg kicks.

00:37:35

He's a high flyer. He's a high flyer. But Logan knows how to throw an annual. You know what you got to watch out for with Logan Paul? The wise man outside, sliding him some brass knuckles. We can continue this conversation before the club.

00:38:48

That's the rule. Everything else is merely a suggestion. Everything else? Everything else. Wearing clean underwear every day?

Well, that's just a personal decision.

Brushing your teeth? Obviously smart, but not a rule. Never PP on an electric fence. Okay, maybe there are two rules, but the one that is 100% that I insist on completely, Jägermeister must be drank ice cold. Or don't drink it at all. Damn, that's cold.
