Caleb's back. Hank was very mean to the Jets. We also are going to do who's back of the week. Oh, did you— that?
Yeah.
You were mean to the Jets. You were mean to the Jets.
No.

Hey.
Football guy, Patino, A.W. Harris. Part of my take, yeah.
Part of my take, yeah.
Part of my take, yeah.
Part of my take, yeah.
Part of my take. Welcome to Part of My Take presented by DraftKings. The crown is yours. Today is Monday, October 19th. Week 6. We start in London with Hank.
In London town, Foster the People Mauro told CJ Penny Proud, yeah, yeah, it's okay. I tie my hands up, catch a TD so I don't fall that way. To put the Texans up 7, love. Bishaw Tottenham Hotspurs dared to do a 2-yard catch in the end zone to turn this match into a 7-7 draw. Jalen Noel, Noel caught a touchdown, it went well. Caught a touchdown in Ajax fans in hell. I just butchered that rating, I can't rate, mate. Travis was hunting interceptions on defense and then gathering touchdowns on offense, contributing from both sides of the pitch.
Huh?
Jafar Jordan thought he had all the absolute power after giving the Texans a 10-point lead in the 3rd quarter, but after the Jags knotted it up at 31, Kai Sanatmi Fairbairn put the Texans up once and for all. Texans 34, Jaguars 31.
Thanks, Hank. Henry, Henry, down in Atlanta where the return of Caleb Williams saw an onslaught of Bears offense as he found Colston. This land is your land, this land is Loveland for an early score. They call him Spaleb Williams because he looked like a vet out there the way he was surgically handling, handling the balls, going 24 for 24 in a clean pocket and slicing and dicing Atlanta's secondary. As for the Falcons, Michael Flaccid Penix looked bad in the first half and didn't wake up until he saw them— saw a set of big pits throwing 2 titties to his tight end Kyle. The big story in this game was the return of Kyler Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who made the Falcons his son as he rocked them with his 3rd sack of the day, robbing any chance of Atlanta winning the game. The Bears 31, Falcons 23.
We go out to Cleveland, the Mistake by the Lake, as the Browns are paying a visit to Monkin' Donuts, as it's been a baker's dozen years since the Browns were in first place this late in the season. But enough about breakfast pastries. No one likes hearing Deshaun Watson turnover. Snoop Huntley Huntley Hippos gave Ravens fans another boring game to watch as Declan Susan Doyle is coaching like he's never scored in his life. Derrick Henry Lockwood choked away another easy win on camera. This guy's never won on camera, folks, mostly by taking a questionable drop and couldn't find the hole to save his life. I've never— this guy's really good, has never won on camera.
Never won on camera.
Kind of crazy. The Browns recovered the fumble as Uncle Jesse Minter sat in the corner And watch as Jerry O'Connell Judy absolutely cooked 'em, even with a fierce defense. Romaine the secondary! Leading to the second slice of a Smith sandwich, going 2 for 3 on the day, but making the first and last. All aboard the Itty Bitty Smitty Committee as the Cleveland Browns are 4-2 and lead the AFC North.
Huh?
Huh?
Huh?
Huh?
Hey, Glofu hasn't won a game on camera! Never won a game on camera, Boom!
Cleveland Thursday, watch one more time!
But now we head to Philadelphia where Max was there to see the Eagles take on the Panthers. We head to the City of Brotherly Love where the Philadelphia Fables are continuing to fable to the point of no return. Tanner McKee and Michael Key is out there playing with guys like Hingle McCringleberry after the entire team is seemingly out. It was a punch fest early until the Eagles defense would say, I gotta leave you alone. To Bryce Young Jeezy and his tight end as he completed the easy touchdown to Tommy Tremble. But Damian Pierce Brosnan was able to leave the Panthers defense shaken, not stirred.
That one was really bad to fool the Eagles fans into thinking they were somehow in the game.
From that point on, it was mostly all Panthers. In the second half, they went full-on Elon mode as Chubba Hubbard was floating over the Eagles defense like that stupid fucking car to the tune of 125 yards and a second half time.
Whatever.
Panthers 25, Eagles 14. Thanks, Max. We now go to Foxborough where Memes was there.
In Foxborough, AJ Today's Brown was getting gangbanged by the sun all day and couldn't catch a cold, so Drake Mum, mum, mum, mum, mum, making Patriots fans happy, had to throw to DeMario Douglas and Romeo Doobie Doobie Doo for touchdowns. As I imagine we talk later on in the show, but the Jets controlled the game and Amariyon Cooper was serving the Patriots defense all day. Hunter Henry Lockwood sealed the game on 3rd and 10, even though he lies about his handicap on the golf course. Picture this, it was Coach Mike Vrabel— Which is not true. Picture this, it was Coach Mike Vrabel banging on the bathroom floor. But she caught me in Sedona. Wasn't me. TMZ in Arizona. Wasn't me. Left scratch marks on my shoulder. Wasn't me. Leaked the info that I told her. Wasn't me. Patriots 26, Jets 19.
Thanks, Memes. We now head to Indianapolis where the winless Titans took on the Colts in a mere formality. Oh, but wait, that is why they play the games. Colts fans were asking to be passed the bottle. As they belted out, Mr. Daniel Jones and me, tell me a fairy tale that we may someday actually fire Chris Ballard, as the quarterback continued to throw the game away. And it looks like it will be another long December for the franchise in Indianapolis. Carnell Tate ball was in his bag, had some dangerous cuts and some highlights for the gram as he drug his team out of the winless column. And it was Jeffrey Ben Simmons and the Titans defense proving they are back. Wait, wait, I'm just hearing word Ben Simmons has torn his Achilles. He's no longer back. This is our Colts, this is our team. We bleed out and now we're dead. Titans 26, Colts 20. Now we head down to Tampa where Zach is there. In Tampa, Jalen Dime Daniels back at it again with the touchdown pass to And Mika Eggbazookazooka Bubblegum! Bazookazooka Bubblegum! Who chews up, spits out, and sticks the Steelers defense underneath the pylon for the first touchdown of the day.
Many drives later, Aaron Mr.
Rogers Neighborhood slips off his shoes and puts on his favorite sweater before asking, would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Would you be my receiver?
While politely passing to Darnell Washington Wizards, who uses his young core to twist and turn through defenders, scoring 9 points rather than settling for the tray. In overtime, Aaron Kenny Rogers may be 42 years old with a flock camera fetish, but he sure knows how to hold 'em.
Knows when to fold 'em. Knows when to step up in the pocket. And knows when to pass.
As he connects to Jeremy St. Bernard, who goes off leash chasing his tail all the way to the doghouse for 6 points. In the end, after countless blown play calls, no hurry-up offense, and zero creativity, Zach Robinson tells the Bucs offense, Not gonna lie, I'm gonna take a nap.
Let me know.
Bro, let you know what? What do you mean let me know?
What the hell are—
dude, what am I letting you know about?
Yeah, bro, well, well, I guess we'll let you know, wake you up later, man. Pittsburgh 26, Tampa Bay 19. Take that!
We go to Arrowhead as Andy Reid off a bye and the Chiefs are hosting the biggest disappointments in football, the Los Angeles Pooper Chargers. Kenneth Walker, Texas Ranger, told the Chargers defense they have AIDS. Probably because they never wrap up. Mike McDaniel Ratcliffe has gone from being a famous boy wizard to just collecting checks and saying yes to any old screenplay. Speaking of the Chiefs, the Chargers quarterback must have been listening to all the old Kansas records singing, I closed my eyes only for a moment and the moment's gone. All my teammates pass before my eyes with ingenuity. Just in the wind. All we are is just in the wind. Herbert can feel another season slip, slip, slipping away like sand in an hourglass. And much like their quarterback, Chargers fans are comforting themselves with way too much beer recently. Chiefs 42, the Chargers 6.
In Las Vegas, where Ashton Kutcher-Gentile told the fans, you just got punked, I actually am good at football, after scoring in the first half in a back-and-forth game. Josh Allen-Iverson took his And-1 mixtape to Sin City, throwing a perfect alley-oop to Keon Derrick Coleman in the second half as the Bills and Joe Wayne Brady asked, is Buffalo gonna have to choke a bitch? As the Raiders tried to claw back into the game. But Kubiak was nowhere to be found as the Raiders attempted their late comeback, and Squirt Cousins jammed one into Trey Smucker late to cut it to 3. But it wasn't enough as no one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills! Bills 33, Raiders 30.
What? What?
Let me be the first to remind America Just make sure to change your clocks.
Change your clocks.
This upcoming weekend.
This weekend, Saturday night.
Big weekend.
Fall forward.
Fall forward, like, like my good friend Derrick Henry always says.
Fall forward.
Fall forward.
Standing on the corner, Jameis Winston and Hoboken, such a fine sight to see.
Is Tyler Shark and the Giants suck, with Skadaboo not getting carries. Come on, 18, don't keep us waiting.
Watch Jameis' receivers all start fainting.

The Browns might be the best team in football.
Browns might be the best team in football.
The mighty, mighty AFC North.
Yeah, and the Texans are, uh, I think all the way back, and now it's trouble for the Jaguars. Let's start with that game. Uh, we had Texans 34, Jaguars 31. A fun London game.
Very fun.
I have to say, I still wish this game was on during regular hours, but it was a fun game. And it was somehow— if you said to me going into this game, Texans-Jaguars, there would be 0 sacks and 65 points scored, I'd be like, no fucking way. And that's what happened.
Hmm. Hmm. That's interesting to me.
Hmm.
What's interesting to me is the NFL has pissed in all of our faces for the last what, like 10 years by putting these games over in England?
Yep.
They might start to catch on that the one way that they can make us not hate them so much is if it's just points, points, points, points, points. Because if you're betting on the games, more people will bet the over. If you're betting on props, people to score, etc., etc. So what's to stop the NFL from playing games on a very slick surface where the defense has no footing and can't adjust to what the offense is doing?
Hmm.
I think that that's pretty interesting. The surface was an issue today.
Yeah, it was.
It definitely favored the offense big time.
And it was actually anti-referee.
It was a very anti-referee surface. We saw early on, uh, I think it was the umpire, uh, he went down. And yeah, I just want to say, like, first of all, thoughts and prayers. We're thinking about him. Uh, he tipped his hat on his way out, which I, I think that means that he's doing okay.
His, his— and his fellow, uh, ref took a knee.
Fellow ref took a knee right next to him. And then it's very beautiful honoring the crowd on his way out on the cart was, uh, that's a very touching moment. Not a dry eye in the house.
Yeah.
But on the, on the field Awesome game, really fun game. I still think that the— there is an issue for the Texans. I don't think they're all the way back yet. Yeah, because the defense is still— they're giving up 30 points a game a lot.
Yeah, I mean, the Jaguars offense is very good, but yes, that was, that was definitely a concern. But CJ Stroud is good. Yeah, CJ Stroud is good again. And it's not just his numbers were good because he had 3 touchdowns and threw for over 300 yards. He looks like CJ Stroud, uh, rookie year. where he's comfortable in the pocket and he's scanning the field and he's hitting guys, you know, uh, with like a perfectly thrown ball. And Jalen Noel was awesome. And, uh, I mean, we already know that, that Nico Collins is awesome. Marvin Harrison, saw him, he actually had 3 first downs, 3 catches, 3 first downs.
Yep.
So I think that's the part, like, you, you hope that the Texans defense will figure it out, but CJ Stroud, which was the big problem last year. He does look, just from eye test, looks like he's gotten his like mojo back.
He looks more confident, and especially after he threw a pick. Yeah, so he threw a pick and then, and then came back. He told, you see, he told D'Amico on the side, hey man, I got you, don't worry about me.
Well, we, we don't know if he threw that pick or not because I've never seen a cameraman get, get deked out, uh, and jump for ball fakes more than what happened on Sunday morning. It was, it like multiple plays He would just be zooming into the wrong side of the field, just biting on everything. Dirty eyes is what we call it.
Dirty eyes, like they were taking the candy.
Yeah.
And I noticed because when the Commanders played over there against the Colts, it was kind of the same deal.
It was crazy.
Something about the camera crew that they use over in England, they bite on play action. They got eyes in the back. You need to, you need to understand your assignment on that and don't get distracted by the eye candy and try to make a splash play and zoom in on the receiver.
But we just didn't see that on the first, on the first time. We just did not see the interception because he just bit so hard.
We didn't. Yeah. They're, they're soccer cameramen.
Yeah, but to be— yeah, you're right. I mean, CJ Stroud having the confidence and, uh, I, I like— it was a, it was a weird game in the fact the Jaguars, like, so the Jaguars offense we know is good. Liam Cohen's a really good coach. And so I, I'm a little surprised that they were able to score 31 on the, on the Texans, uh, defense. But it actually works both ways because the Jaguars defense has been really good and they got carved up. That was the first time a team scored over 20 or more Uh, since Week 10 last year, which was also against the Texans.
Yeah.
So the Jaguars have been holding every single opponent to 20 or less, and CJ Stroud just diced them up. And it was kind of the same thing, like, the Jaguars, I— they're not a bad team. This does make it so that the AFC South feels like— because that was the Jaguars' home game against the Texans. Texans now get the Jaguars at home, and the Texans also have Giants, Chargers, Browns, Colts coming up. So like this could— this game was a big swing in that if the Jaguars won it, you could almost say they're going to win the AFC South. With the Texans winning it, it's like game on. But more than anything, like this game, it's just that when the Jaguars lose, they're just penalized, costly penalties, bad miscues in the red zone. I feel like we watched the Jaguars take a 2-week trip to London where they just sucked in the red zone.
The interception that Trevor Lawrence had. Yeah. Uh, they have a— their coaching staff's awesome. The offense is humming. It looks great. Their kicker is one of the best to ever do it.
He's insane.
The 60-yard field goal that he made at the end of the game where it had, it had the height on it that you see on an extra point. It was like if he tried to kick that the way that you see a lot of kickers attempt 60-yarders, more of like a line drive, I think he could probably make it from like 80 yards.
Yeah.
Because the amount of the height that that thing had on it was incredible. And it kind of— having a kicker that's, that's that good from 60 yards might have made Liam Cohen maybe accidentally make the wrong decision in that circumstance.
Yeah.
Because he had such confidence in his kicker to make it. He's like, okay, well then, you know, we'll make it and then we'll see what happens. We'll go out and play defense.
Yeah.
In that situation with that game flow, probably would have been a better idea to go for it. Was it 4th and 4?
Yeah.
I think probably a better idea to go for it and try to score a touchdown. It's like a very, very small thing, but having a kicker that's that good, it's healthy for a head coach to have like a little bit of distrust in their kicker.
Yeah.
To be like, he's not as good as he thinks he is.
There needs to be the ecosystem of an NFL locker room has to have tension between the head coach and the kicker at all times. Yeah. You can't, you can't just be going in being like, we have a weapon and we trust him no matter what. You got to be able to say under your breath like, fucking kickers. Yeah, they blew us this game. But Cam Little is, he's the best kicker in football. He's, he's definitely taken that mantle, right?
Yeah.
He's, he's better than Brandon Aubrey.
Aubrey's down.
Yeah.
Aubrey's down. One other thing about, about the offense. Liam Cohen, I think— I mean this as a compliment— he is a very creative coach. He doesn't get enough credit sometimes for the little fuck shit that he likes to put in.
Mm-hmm.
Because it's not necessarily always as flashy as some of the fuck shit that other coaches put in. But it's kind of like Ben Johnson-y in a way that I think sometimes he adds stuff to the game plan so that the real film nerds out there, the real like analytical next-generation creative coaching guys will break it down and be like, oh my God, this guy's on a different level. Because he had— I think it was on a touchdown, the touchdown jump pass that Trevor threw to the backup tight end. He had the offensive tackle split out to the left running like a fake bubble screen.
Yeah, yeah, I saw that.
Which looks awesome. And it makes me want to see them actually run the play to him. But I think Liam Cohen's just putting that out there just so that people will be like, this guy's in his bag right now.
I would say he probably isn't playing to the film crew on Twitter.
Not necessarily on Twitter. I mean, like, just Like the next generation.
Just in general.
He likes being known as being like a really smart guy.
Yeah. Or he just wants to put a bunch of stuff on film so that you never know what his team's going to do.
I would love to see it if he actually—
That feels like maybe—
If he actually ran it to that guy. Yeah. I would love to see that.
The, the— I also think we should place a bet, boys. I think Travis Hunter for Heisman because he almost flipped this game himself.
He had—
so he had 101 yards receiving. And a touchdown. But he had a stretch in the 4th quarter where he went 4 catches for 40 yards on a singular drive and then scored the touchdown. And then the next drive had the interception in the, in the end zone, which again, we didn't see. He's special. They find— I think they finally did the right thing with him where they said, hey, we're going to focus on defense. Once you've mastered defense, then we'll start using you on offense again instead of being like, worry about both at the same time.
And when they, when they bring him in on offense, the ball usually ends up going his way. Yeah. They find a way to get it to him.
He was— I mean, he was awesome. He almost won this game in that 4th quarter sequence where it was back to back. He scored a touchdown, got a pick in the other end zone. It's, I mean, we should probably bet him Heisman. Hank, did you watch this game?
I watched second half. Yeah. Okay.
What'd you think?
It was a good game. Entertaining.
Yeah.
I had the Jags. Travis Hunter is, I mean, it's insane that he's managed to like come back and actually be effective on both sides of the ball.
It's crazy. He's just really is. He's a— he's an absolute weapon. And I think he did— was it Travis Hunter who did the, the meme touchdown? Yeah, the dancing thing. Oh, no, I don't think it was. I think it was someone else.
I think it might have been Tootin.
What's that from? Is that from— I just— it's like not— you guys know what I'm talking about. It's the little person doing the dance and it looks like it should be from a movie like 100 years ago. But I don't know where it's from. What is that meme? Explain the meme to us, Zach.
I don't know.
Putin did it. You haven't seen that? It's a little person just shushing and then they just do a little dance.
And this tiny meme never came across my regular-sized desk.
It's like, is a movie from the 1900s?
It has to be because it feels like it should be from The Wizard of Oz. But I don't think it's from The Wizard of Oz, right? Like everyone wants—
It is AI.
Oh, so it's Rumpelstiltskin.
Oh, what was Rumpelstiltskin's deal?
Rumpelstiltskin tricked people into signing deals and then he would take your life.
He collected souls, right?
So he sounds like a boy band agent.
Yeah, essentially. Yep.
It was— was that creepy dude who signed everyone?
Luke Roman.
Yeah. Rumpelstiltskin is a famous German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm in their 1812 collection Children's All right. Okay. So he just, he just gets people to sign really bad deals.
He's a guy that you have to like guess his name. If you guess his name, then he has to let you out of the deal.
You say it 3 times in a mirror.
I think you just have to guess it.
Oh, you just guess his name. I think if you guess his name, no one would ever be named Rumpelstiltskin, right?
The Brothers Grimm had some fucked up shit.
Little Rattlestilt is what Rumpelstiltskin translates to.
What about Rip Van Winkle?
He just went to sleep for a really long time. They made really good whiskey.
Oh, fuck it. So he passed out?
Yeah.
He just got fucked up and passed out. Oh, no, that's— is that Pappy Van Winkle? I think it's his brother. His brother made the—
there's also a Rip Van Winkle.
Is it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I'm saying his brother made the whiskey. I think Rip was the one who just passed out.
Pappy Van Winkle. There's no better whiskey to mix with, like, a Pepsi Zero Sugar than Pappy Van Winkle.
I agree.
It actually sets—
I actually like to put a little Pepsi and then a little vinegar in my Pappy Van Winkle.
The vinegar?
Yeah, vinegar.
Like a floater.
Yeah, yeah. A little vinegar floater in your whiskey.
That's pretty good.
It's really good.
I love good whiskey.
Everyone should try that. And then what you do is you drink it and then you lick some salt and take a little, little lime. You squeeze a lime in your mouth, chaser, and then someone slaps you. And that's the perfect— that's good. Yeah, that's really good whiskey. That we're whiskey connoisseurs. Everyone knows that.
I'm a bourbon boy.
Do you think we'll ever get into that?
I do like bourbon.
I like bourbon.
I do too. But I'm saying, I know I like it. I'm saying, you guys know what I'm saying? I like the people who make it their personality, right? They're like, they're testing it and they're doing videos and saying, look at what I got tonight.
Remember when Billy got you that?
PFT is close.
No, he's not.
Not really.
I like it.
I like good bourbon. I know the difference between good bourbon and like, I really enjoy a good bourbon, but I don't. research them and know anything about the bottles or anything.
Didn't Billy get you a bourbon wood burning smoker?
Yeah, he got me a smoker.
Have you ever used that?
I tried to use it. I'm too dumb to use it. So no fault of Billy's. Like, that was a good gift. I was just too dumb to figure out how to use it properly.
I think it's like guys have 3 choices in life. It's become like very heavily into bourbon, heavily into craft beer, or get divorced.
Yep.
It's like, that's it. Wine. Choose which door.
Wine as well.
Wine's kind of a You could be a wine guy, but yeah, I'm not a wine guy. It's a girl thing.
Once I'm—
what'd you say? What'd you say?
Smoked meats.
Smoked meats too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I definitely get into wine. No, they do.
But then I call them girls.
Once I was working, I was working a whiskey tasting booth at this wine and food festival because the only way that I could get into the free tasting was to be a volunteer at it. So it was down in Austin. It's like once a year. So I volunteered to run the whiskey booth. And so I was in charge of like pouring people bourbons. And I would just make up stuff about the bourbons as I was pouring it off the top of my head. And I forget what I said, like, this one's got a hint of vanilla in it. And this guy was in front of like a small— there's a small group, probably like 10 people around me. He goes, that's actually not true. He's wearing a fedora. I'll never forget. He goes, that's actually not true. I was like, oh yeah? And he takes a card out of his pocket and he made himself a card.
He's a fed.
He made himself a card that said his name and then Master Whiskey Taster.
Damn.
He just walked around carrying like a business card.
Damn.
Not his actual job.
You got fucking—
I got owned.
You got the feds on you.
Yeah.
Max, okay, you can get in wine. I'm sorry. I know you're thinking—
Well, Italians like wine.
Yeah, I know. It's an Italian thing. Get drunk, have purple teeth.
Yeah.
Yeah.
One additional note of this London game. Yeah. They had the most dogshit corgi race of all time.
I saw that.
Did you see it?
Yeah.
Can you pull up? Pull up the dogshit corgi race.
Yeah, we got to start respecting corgi races more, guys.
This is terrible. These are probably the inbred corgis that the Queen raises.
We also—
they didn't know how to race. They just— they scattered. This is the very— that's the very end of it, by the way. It was about a 40-second race and they all went across the field.
Do you know what the problem is here? I think as a culture, England, they're not doing corgi races. So like our corgis are trained to one day— every corgi in America goes to bed at night and they're like, someday I hope my owner brings me to a Division 1 college football game and I can race. That's it. That's all they're looking for. In England, they're like, you know, we're just going to sit by a crackling fire while my owner drinks tea. This is in a, in a, in like some country estate.
It's honestly disrespectful to Wembley. This is like when Augusta invited Dude Perfect. Yeah, it's disgusting.
These corgis had no desire whatsoever to run.
No, fuck them.
Look at that.
Oh my God.
Out of shape.
Leave it to us. We do the corgi races. It'd be like if, if, if we did— what's the game in France next week? If at halftime they've got like a dog balancing on a gym ball or, you know, an Asian lady throwing plates to herself. Yeah, don't do that. That's our shit. We're the— we're the country where our attention span is so low that we need someone to entertain us with oohs and aahs at halftime.
We're not going to have a mime come out at halftime. Yeah.
Look how fast this corgi races.
That's America, baby.
Because we know they're absolutely moving.
Yes. Because again, we breed our corgis to race for $0 at the halftime of major sporting events. That's what we do.
For the glory.
For the glory.
In England, they don't understand that because it's like, oh, we'll just get relegated. But yeah, it doesn't matter.
For the 10-second bumper in from, from commercial break. right before the half kicks off.
But what a moment that is.
It is. It's incredible.
And they're— I'm telling you, you have to find the entire clip of the full corgi race today. It was— it was so bad. It was so bad. Yeah. Maybe reconsider having that. Of all things should make you think twice about playing games over in England. Yeah.
This is Wisconsin-UCLA game last night. They had that. Refs got involved big time. Oh, they gave him some cream. Nice.
The refs got involved in the corgi race?
No, they probably did. That one guy, Vilar, the fucking head ref of the game, probably did.
He probably tried to call penalty on Wisconsin.
Uh, the— I am, I am buying stock in the Texans. I've already said this, but I did bet them to win the AFC South at +400. So I, I don't know. I did it at like halftime. So it might have changed before or after the game because this was a pretty, pretty big game swing. But yeah, I think, I think the Texans are going to be there. I, and I don't— we're going to get to the Colts. They stink. Titans, I guess they don't stink today. We shouldn't say they stink today. What is it right now? It's a +290.
Yeah.
So I should have pulled the trigger. I think it was +500 before kickoff. And then I watched a half and I was like, yes, CJ Stroud's back, +400. Do it. Okay, next game. Let's go stateside for the first place Cleveland Browns. Browns 13, Ravens 10. This is the latest the Cleveland Browns have been in first place in the AFC North since Week 10, 2014.
Mm-hmm.
And it's only Week 6, but still, it's pretty— they beat— they're, they're, they're tied at first, but they have the tiebreaker because they've beaten the Ravens and they've beaten the Steelers. The Cleveland Browns, I'll say this about them, I still don't know how good they are, but they clearly have a game plan. And their game plan is thus: drag you into deep water and then have Deshaun Watson in the 4th quarter drown you. That's what they do. They basically are like, hey, for the first 3 quarters, Deshaun's not going to be good, but our defense will be. And then in the 4th quarter, Deshaun Watson will be good and will win the game. Deshaun Watson now has, uh, 3 4th quarter comeback wins this season, and that's his 4th game-winning drive. They have 4 wins. Every single one, they've got a 4th, uh, game-winning drive from Deshaun Watson. He basically needs 3 quarters to get warmed up. He had 65 yards passing in the first 3 quarters, 99 in the, in the 4th quarter. That's their plan. And their defense keeps them in every game until Deshaun's like, you know what, I've seen enough. I can actually complete a pass now.
And then he starts completing passes. And Jerry Jeudy showed up.
Jerry Jeudy played pretty good today.
Yeah.
Big, big reception.
To go kind of along with that step, Big Cat, the Browns, they were, they had won and covered in 4 straight division games going into today. And now it's 5, 5 in a row doing that. That's at least the first time since 1994, if not way back in like the 1970s.
Damn.
So this is, this is rare territory for Cleveland.
Yeah.
And the whole division's good, but the Browns somehow they're at the top of it right now.
I, I think the whole division's good. I don't know if the whole division's good.
I didn't say that the division was great.
That's true. I said, I said, I would have said no.
I said the whole division, I don't know that there's a great team.
Can I add an ish? They're good-ish.
There's not a, there's not a great team in that division right now. One of these teams is good.
going to potentially be great. The others are going to probably stay in good-ish.
It would help if, uh, if the Ravens had Lamar. Yeah, that's a big difference. The Ravens without Lamar, I think we can say they're not good.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I would say so. I mean, they— but they— listen, they, they, they're gonna— hopefully Lamar comes back and they're gonna say, hey, we went 1-1 with Snoop Huntley, which— that's all you're looking for. Yeah, like, Snoop Huntley's not good, but he's Good enough for a backup quarterback. I think he can tread water.
I think Declan Doyle ran to the bottom of his bag of tricks of stuff that he could do with Snoop at halftime today.
Oh dude, he—
Atlanta was— that was one thing. And then he's at— by halftime, he's like, I don't know what else to do.
The—
he is going to be a head coach in the next couple of years. That play where he had— he had 2 plays. The touchdown pass to Cuevas was awesome. He basically ran a roundabout like all the way around and was wide open. And then He ran, he put Cuevas, their backup tight end, as the left guard, but not on the line of scrimmage. So he was able to go downfield and he just blasted through the A-gap for like a 30-yard pass. It was so sick.
That was some shit that John Harbaugh tried to get out of the game.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But that, but that's, that's kind of like Liam Cohen, I think, might be doing it because he just wants to get shit on tape. Declan Doyle might be doing it because he wants to get a head coaching job, which makes sense.
And it's cool.
Yeah.
And it's fucking cool.
It works. It's awesome. Yeah.
But yeah, the Browns defense, it was Carson Swesinger is awesome. He was— I feel like he was in on every tackle. They held Derrick Henry to 58 yards and they basically were like, yeah, let's bet that the Ravens, who I think this was— I saw the stat, I got to pull it up. I think this was their 17th double-digit lead that they've blown since 2018. 17th. Think about that.
Mm-hmm.
17th double-digit lead they've blown. Yeah, since 2018, which is the most in the NFL over that span. So they're basically like, hey, it doesn't matter, we just got to be— we got to be in striking distance at the end of— in 4th quarter. The Ravens led the game for 18 minutes, the Browns led the game for 0 seconds.
Yeah, yeah. Minter, I believe, has 3 10-point blown leads already. Yeah, so shortly—
so this is one of those situations where it's got— we're gonna, we're gonna talk about the Steelers where I Like, I know the Steelers ended up winning. But as I was watching that game, especially when they were down, I was like, this is just the Mike Tomlin Steelers where they're favorites on the road and they shouldn't be. And it's like, you can't get that out of the, out of the building. It feels like you can't get the Harbaugh blown leads out of the building yet.
Yeah, you might not be able to.
You might need to do some type of séance. Yeah. Burn some sage. I don't even know. What do you do for that? I think you have to change the drapes.
I think sometimes you have to remember To just keep running Derrick Henry even when it's not working.
Yeah. I mean, his fumble, that was—
that's bad.
Switched the game.
It's bad. Yeah. Big change. And he wasn't, again, great in short yardage situations today.
Yeah.
But I think it's like, it takes a special kind of, of coach to say like, I don't give a fuck that it's not working. We just kind of have to keep doing it and trust that eventually it's going to work and we'll kill the clock in the process.
Did you guys see Jared Allen playing beer die at the Mooney lot before? That was pretty cool.
That was cool.
Cleveland. I mean, not so much the Guardians after losing the last 2 games, but Cleveland's having a little bit of a hot streak, Hank.
Not today.
Well, I mean, the Browns won the first time they've been— this is the latest they've been in first place since 2014.
If they had pulled a double win in Cleveland, that I would have had to give it respect.
But you unfortunately— what about a 2-out-of-3 win with Ohio State winning in Indiana?
Nah.
No, no.
Okay. So no, I was expecting—
they were favorites. The Browns win was good.
Browns win was— I mean, it was great. They— and I think, where's Dom at in his— I think next week is a must-win against the Titans. So he's, he's in must-win territory with the Titans because, I mean, the Browns could be 5-2.
You can't lose that game.
It's 5-2.
That's how much of a must-win.
I mean, It truly is.
Thankfully, the Titans are off a win. So did the Browns? Yeah, must win, must win against the Titans. And what would happen if they beat the Titans? They'd be in a little brother becomes big brother bowl against the Steelers. Holy shit.
It's a little early for that, isn't it?
Well, it would be the— it would— they would have swept them if they beat them, right?
True.
So would they be the— they would be the big brother.
Is that, is that how it's done? Like every time there's a season sweep? I feel like it, it takes longer than that. It takes years. It takes like a generation of growing up with an inferiority complex.
Yeah.
To a better team.
You're probably right.
To truly flip that over.
But hey, the, the—
We have to have a stat that says like babies born in X year don't remember the Steelers beating the Browns.
Listen, you're putting way too much sense on, on Dom's, uh, simulator because remember, if, if you forget, we had a week 3 game of the century.
That is true.
Yep.
Okay. Good point.
So there's— I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to anything that we're doing on this thing.
Good point. So the Browns are officially in first place.
Officially in first place.
And especially doubly in first place if we count streak. Yeah.
Officially in first place.
And I guess, yeah, Minshew, I think I said he lost 10 games, 2 games with a big lead because, yeah.
There's also something about Mason Graham didn't play it like Mason Graham is going to come back there. There's something about Having like Cleveland having a, like a really good defense and now maybe a quarterback who can win them games in the 4th quarter. They're built in the Cleveland model. They're never going to make it look good.
Mm-hmm.
It's never going to be a sexy watch or something that you're like, oh man, I can't wait to watch the Browns play football. Doesn't matter. 4-2, top of the AFC North. First time or latest they've ever done it since 2014. That's something.
Do we have any more, any updates? Is there still like a contingent of Browns fans that want Shador?
I don't think so.
I don't think so either.
Todd Monken did say on Deshaun's performance today, we just got to flatten out some of the other ups and downs that we have. It's a we thing, not an individual thing. He's probably talking about the first 6 drives of the— or 5 drives of the game in the first half being all punts and only like 2 first downs. So that's probably what he's got to flatten out. Okay, should we go to the next game? Bears 31, Falcons 23. Caleb Williams is back. That was fun. Got tight a little bit in the— at the end of the game because Dennis Allen put in a bunch of the backups for a stretch there, which I didn't really understand.
But what I thought in the cave, I heard you say stress-free win. What a game it was.
I mean, it was 30— it was 31 to 7 and it was—
we're just Cruising.
And then the Falcons were like, oh, you have your backups in, we can just throw it to Kyle Pitts and he'll score a touchdown. And then they got both of the 2-point conversions. But this game was about Caleb Williams looking awesome in his return, Kyler Gordon being an absolute menace, and Dennis Allen being a demon on 3rd down. Kyler Gordon had— I think it was the first time in 40 years that a defensive back had 3 sacks and multiple forced fumbles. It basically— he was just— they could not figure out where he was coming from. He was incredible today. And so Kyler Gordon, then special teams was great as well. And it's good to have a win. And Caleb looked awesome. He's 24 for 24 in a clean pocket today.
And what was his overall completion percentage?
It was 83%.
The highest of his career?
83%. Highest by—
Was he like 12 for 12, something like that to start the game?
Yeah, he was highest by a Bear in franchise history with over 30 attempts. He's, I think, leading the NFL in completion percentage right now. And, uh, he also was the 3rd quarterback ever to have 50 touchdowns with less than 15 interceptions, joining Mahomes and Lamar. It was, it was just fun to have him back. And it's like, yeah, this is an enjoyable watch. And like Luther Burden got involved, Colson Loveland got involved, caught a touchdown. Uh, Roschon Johnson was, was good outside the fumble, which I, I know I said last week I wasn't I wanted Manongai back because I didn't like watching Roschon play. He played well. It was a fun win. A little tight. Didn't like how tight it got. Again, Dennis Allen throwing in some of the backups was, was a, was part of why it got tight. And the Bears, their offense kind of stalled for a minute there in the 3rd quarter. But a win's a win, a road win. And did you see that Kevin Stefanski said after that the Falcons had to go on a silent count?
I did see that. He said that they practiced that all week because he had a pretty good feeling that there would be a lot of Bears fans.
Yeah.
I didn't know that Chicago was like, like a big time— people retire from Chicago and move there. No, I think it was just like traveling.
Yeah. For that game.
Yeah.
I mean, that's, that's probably a top— I mean, when you're looking at games to go to, if you can basically bank on it being indoors so you don't have to worry about weather.
Yeah.
And go see Atlanta. But yeah, good win.
There was also a moment we all, we all called it in real time. At what point are the TV graphics people going to realize that you can't advance a muff punt?
Yeah.
When is that going to happen?
Yeah.
It's not like it's a new rule.
Yep.
And it happens. It feels like it happens every week. There'll be somebody that muffs a punt. Then the punting team recovers. They run into the end zone because their momentum is carrying themselves down there anyways. And then the graphic changes, the score changes. It says touchdown on the screen. And then the announcers have to be like, well, wait, wait, it actually doesn't count. The rule is you cannot advance a muffed punt.
Yeah, they put it up. They put the score up.
This happens every week.
Every single week.
We need to have a discussion with all our graphics people.
out there.
Yeah, I'd agree.
Doesn't count. No ball.
Doesn't count. But yeah, that was a big— that was a big swing in the game. Uh, do we have an update on Kendall Daniels? Because that was scary when he went down and they— the game stopped for a while.
The only quote I saw from Stefanski was that he's doing okay. He's in the hospital. I think he has movement in his extremities. Yeah, I think that's what Stefanski said.
That was scary. Because it didn't seem like it was anything, and then it was like, oh shit, they came back and because he kind of sat up after it happened. And then they came back and the stretcher was there. I was like, oh, fuck. So that wasn't good. I also saw there were some people upset because I think maybe during the, the, like, break in action, there was a fuck the Packers chant going or Green Bay sucks chant going. I then saw that there was— which that if that— when I first heard that, I was like, come on, there's a guy hurt. There was a Packers fan at the game who was just standing up and antagonizing the crowd. So he basically— he induced his own Green Bay sucks chant by himself.
Got it.
He just was standing up, pointing at people and like getting everyone to chant.
I do admire the hater move of going to a Falcons game as a Packer fan because they're playing the Bears.
Yeah. Hold on. I'll send it to you, Max, because I was— you know, you know, on the show we have to answer for anything that any of our fan bases ever do, which is only fair.
Not Max.
But so when I first saw it, I was like, shit, this is a bad look if this is actually what happened. And then seeing this guy— I'm sending it to you right now— seeing this guy go crazy. Max DeLente. Almost sent it to Max Homa by accident.
I've done that.
Okay. Sending you, Max. They—
I also thought the Bears had a good game plan of like You know how you can stop Bijan? Just have the ball on offense the whole time. Because that— I was very worried about Bijan in this game. And Michael Penix did not have a great game, especially in the first half. They were like— I think he had like 3 yards halfway through. See this guy? He was basically— he was just standing up. Green Bay sucks! He was getting everyone to chant Green Bay sucks at him. So that's probably where it came from.
from?
Because I do— I would say losing, getting absolutely smoked by the Packers and then having that be a chant unsolicited in Atlanta the next week when the Bears are playing well would be lame. But that guy was, was basically being the heel to the entire crowd. I really—
I do respect it. Do you think he saw the schedule come out? I'm assuming he lives in Atlanta. Do you think he circled that game? He's like, I'm going to go to it no matter what, probably just to fuck with Bears fans. Or do you think he waited until after the win? And then he's like, they're in town next weekend. I got to go remind them.
Yeah, I got to—
either way, I approve.
Yeah. What do you guys think of the Falcons overall going forward?
I think that they have to figure out a way to— I know that the Bears had the ball and the Falcons were in a deep, deep hole for pretty much right off the bat.
Mm-hmm.
But to kind of take Bijan out of it feels like you're not giving yourself a chance to even try to get back in the game.
Yeah.
Yeah, I know that. I know that you have to go for chunk plays and all that when you're down. You have to— it limits the playbook, but he's your most explosive player even when he's just running the ball.
Yeah, he only ran the ball 9 times. 9 times, 6.8 yards per carry. But it was— it did feel like it was, uh, 14-nothing, right, in the blink of an eye. Yeah, it was over pretty quick. Uh, so that, that was definitely a benefit to the Bears. I also— it was just a satisfying win because there was a lot of noise this week about, you know, Ben Johnson getting humbled. I think our guy— we gotta have our guy Stink back on, but he had some choice words for— I don't think Ben Johnson forgot how to coach because he lost one game to the Packers, but there was a lot of people who wanted to dump on him. So it's fun. And Caleb's back and he saw the graph. He said afterwards he saw the graphic, uh, on GetUp. There was just Falcons across the board.
So everybody picked the Falcons.
Yeah, on GetUp. I guess I missed that. I didn't even know they did picks on Yeah, I didn't even know they did picks.
Disappointing, Greeny.
Yeah. Did you think Caleb looked good, Hank?
Yeah, I think the Bears should be excited. Team looks good.
Oh, I see what you're doing.
Hank, were you—
Yeah, look at this.
Hank, were you glad?
This is Orlovsky, Schrager. Oh, Greeny doesn't make picks. What is he, not allowed to make picks?
He might, he might abstain. Yeah.
What a nerd.
No, no, I think—
Why?
No, I think he saves his pick for Countdown.
Oh, okay.
I think. He keeps us wanting more. It's like a little appetizer for Greeny's pick.
I got to say, I haven't tuned into Countdown in forever.
No, no.
I don't remember the last time I looked.
I watched those games on now.
Yeah.
Thanks to Hank.
You did that, Hank.
I've been doing it for years.
Yeah.
Okay.
So, yeah. Hank, would you have rather that the Bears won or lost this game?
No, I was actually kind of disappointed that they almost like had an all-time choke. during this game because I would have rather them just kept the lead. And I— they still, they still are and they still should be. But I want Bears fans riding as high as they possibly can be riding.
Yeah.
Going into Thursday.
I can't wait.
So I can just walk in there, crush their dreams.
You go to the game?
I think so.
Yeah.
You get tickets?
I don't have tickets yet.
Okay.
But you just— you think that you're going mentally?
I'm playing mentally. You're there. I've said yes. So you're at 5 different tailgates.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'll be there. I'll show up before.
Theoretically, you'd like to go.
Yeah.
Are you waiting for somebody to give you tickets?
No.
Is that what this is right now?
No, I didn't. I did not. I was—
you want tickets?
I was not going to bring this up on the show. Okay.
I'll give you tickets if you want tickets.
We have TickPick. So if I need tickets, I'll just use them.
Yeah. You just buy them on TickPick.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, there was a— when the, when the Falcons had the ball after that furious comeback, thank God for Kyler Gordon. Because he was incredible.
And he—
that, that was a moment where I was like, what the fuck is happening? Because it was— I did say stress-free for— and it felt like it. And then it was like, wait a second, we got to pay attention.
Mm-hmm.

Steelers 26, Bucs 19. The Bucs blew this one. The Bucs had them. The Steelers looked bad for a first— the first half especially. Mike McCarthy rolled his ankle. I think it was just a fat injury.
I said I saw that he might have gotten stepped on. Ah, which is never a good thing if your injury is described like a bag of coke that you hate.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's— he's apparently— it was on the rush to go to the locker room.
Got it.
He got cleated. And then he tried to waddle away, waddle it off. And then they're like, sir, we need to check you in the blue tent because that's the only place where doctors are.
So I think it was just a fat injury. And unfortunately, the reason why I'm saying that is we had 2 of them in the cave today. Max stood up at one point in the cave and just said, I just tore my ACL. And Max, I didn't say it at the time, but I actually did the exact same thing like an hour before. I stood up and I was like, well, there goes my MCL.
It's gone.
It's like I have nothing left in my knee. It's gone. I don't know what happened. I just stood up and, and I'm fat and I stood up too fast. And I think that's probably what happened with Mike McCarthy. He rolled his fat. Sometimes you can just like tweak your fat to the point where you're like, I'm never going to walk again. And I think that's what Mike McCarthy was doing when he was hobbling around and going into the blue tent.
Your fat can also fall asleep too.
Oh, yeah.
Which is just all the time. Just as deadly. Yes, absolutely. Yeah. In case of numb fat, the dormant fat, really dangerous. But yeah, Mike McCarthy walking out of the blue injury tent was— it was very funny.
I don't know.
I don't know what they did in there. Like if they— there's no X-ray machine in there, so I don't know what they were looking at. They just had a doctor tell him, take your— take your shoe off real quick. Let me take a look.
I think they probably just gave him a sticker and they're like, hey, get back out there, big guy.
A Band-Aid. Yeah. Someone kissed it, gave him a lollipop.
Jersey said, Mike, we need you for the second half. Get back out there, big guy.
Jersey Jerry would have been like, let me See them tootsies and give them a little smooch.
I would actually imagine knowing Mike McCarthy, they probably did pull out like the chart for the kids being like, tell us where it hurt. Like what scale, 1 to 10?
Where?
How much does it hurt right now, Mike?
I think he probably, he probably just did it for the lollipop.
Yeah.
He knows that you get examined by the doctor.
Yeah.
Here you go. Here's a Blow Pop, Mike.
Sticker and a lollipop. Mike McCarthy. But yeah, this was the Bucs or the Steelers looking bad. And then their defense being opportunistic. Aaron Rodgers hit— Jeremy Bernard is good. Can we just say that?
Sometimes.
Yeah, but he had a good game and he, he had— he's like, he's in the trust tree. He went out and then he's back in. He did fuck up.
He jumped out of the trust tree early in the game.
Yeah.
And it was bad. It was a bad fuck up. It was— I think it was 3rd down and it was a 3rd or 4th down. He ran past the chains. Turned around, caught the ball, and then continued to run backwards to get around one defender that was trying to tackle him and turned a first down into like being 2, 3 yards short of the first down. And so they had to— it was either a turnover on downs immediately or they had to punt the ball away after that. And it was one of the dumbest plays, but then he made up for it towards the end of the game. Yeah, he's electric when he has the ball.
You could see that Rodgers, he went back in the trust tree because he did trust him at the end of the game to score that touchdown. And I, I mean, it was like one of those situations where the Bucs almost— they were almost able to be like, can we hide Jalen Daniels isn't probably the best starting quarterback for 4 quarters? And you got so close, and then the 4th quarter happened, he just started throwing picks. What I mean, Zach, this has been the Bucs season so far, is like these games that you're going to look back and say, oh my God, we were up 16-3, up— we were up on the Browns, like all these things that Or what-ifs now.
Yeah, we should have won this game. We had it until we didn't have it. Uh, he— Jalen's been holding it down at quarterback for the last couple weeks. Uh, he's not the one though, you know. Hopefully we get Baker back soon. Uh, yeah, it wasn't fun. I bought in too heavy after the win last week, like a silly fan. I got all excited just— I should have known this was—
You're silly.
Yeah, it was silly. It was silly. I did the silly fan thing where it's like, oh look, we just got a win, we could get more. That's just not true.
But you had to think during this game, you're like, we're good, we're— we look good, we're going to win.
The entire game was like, all right, it's cool. Now we got 2 wins, which is also dumb because I was counting it in my brain when I shouldn't have.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was, it was kind of lame. Kind of sucked. Absolutely blew it.
I think these types of losses happen from, you know, it's not super uncommon across the league, but what is super uncommon is the Steelers coming back from that big of a deficit. Yeah, it had been 31 consecutive games that they trailed by 10 or more points. without a win for the Steelers.
Late-game pick was tough. That Jacob Parrish pass interference where he kind of fell down, that was huge. I think if that didn't happen, maybe different outcome for the game. But all right, we got 2 division games coming up.
Yeah, win those.
Win those. And I mean, hey, win those.
Yeah, it's the first time since 1992, Neil O'Donnell, that the Steelers won a game.
That many games.
Trailing 13 in the 4th quarter. It was Aaron Rodgers' 4th 4th-quarter trailing by 13 or more comeback in his his career. The other 3 were at the Packers. So that part is different for the Steelers. But it— to Jersey Jerry's credit, he kept on saying, he's like, we're just gonna get a turnover at some point. We're gonna get a turnover and it's gonna be fine. We're gonna get a turnover. And then it just happened. And Todd Bowles said after the game, you never have the game in control until it's over. I would say that Todd Bowles never has the game under control, ever.
Yeah, no, that's Todd Bowles's way of saying, like, you probably shouldn't have said that, Todd. I know it feels that way to you, He only feels in control of the game when he's done with the game.
Right.
So, yeah. So ipso facto, he has never felt in control.
Correct.
I think Todd Bowles is using a quote generator. I think he's just spamming generate before these press conferences and just saying whatever comes up on his phone.
Todd Bowles is so bad at coaching that when it was overtime and the Steelers scored and went up 7, and then we were talking about the, the Bucs potentially scoring and going for 2. PFT said, are you sure, Todd Bowles? And yes, I am sure. But the fact that that question was lobbed is a testament to how bad Todd— but like, it's not 100%.
We could see—
it's not 100%.
We could see Todd Bowles if like, for whatever reason, he, he didn't have a lot of confidence in his, uh, short yard. Maybe if it took him like 8 tries to get into the end zone in a goal line situation and there was a penalty that extended it. And then they finally score. You could see Todd being like, I didn't really trust our goal-to-go offense, so we opted to go for the tie.
Yeah, he definitely doesn't make the decision right away. Like, he'll pan to the sideline. Yeah, you'll see him think and then look to somebody else to make the call. And then inevitably, hopefully somebody else have a strong opinion about this.
Yeah, I joked about him punting on 4th down at the end of the game in overtime, and I was like joking, but also he could have. It's Todd Bowles.
Try to get a turnover.
It is. You are in like a torture season right now because you're— you have one win and you have all these games that you're going to— if you, if you can rattle off a couple of wins, you're just going to keep looking back and being like, well, what if we had beaten the Browns? What if we'd beaten the Steelers up 13 in the 4th quarter? All this shit.
We go.
It'll be okay.
Yeah, it might not be okay, but Baker's going to come back, I think. So he was There's— I haven't seen anything online after the game, what it's looking like for next week. I know he was doubtful this week, probably maybe doubtful next week.
He could.
So we'll look towards like the top of the week to find out. I would like him to. That'd be if he's healthy, though. I don't want him to just do it just to do it. If the film's good, though. Yeah, give it a shot.
He's the jail— he's the same thing we said about Snoop Huntley. Jaylen Daniels went 1-1. That's great. You need to just get away now.
I will say Jaylen Daniels was doing a fantastic job most of the game until the end. He was. He does just get rid of it. He does like, all right, couple seconds, just know your job, get rid of the ball, be done. That was cool.
But he should run more too. I feel like there's a couple times where it's like, dude, just run. And he's just like, no, I'm gonna wait until I can throw it.
I think he got—
I think he took a couple shots, uh, last week on Thursday. And I think, I, I think somebody this week got to him like, hey, we can't have you get knocked out of the game. Yeah, we'd be in a bad spot. But you're right, he's more dynamic and he's a better player when he does have that fruit. I think if anything, he's made himself a lot of money the last couple of weeks. He's going to be a backup quarterback.
Yeah, he's a backup quarterback.
He's going to be a solid backup quarterback, at least for the next 5 years.
Also shout out DK. He had a nice game.
Really good game.
Because it feels like it's been a while. Like the Steelers have some weapons now on offense. It's not DK, Jeremy Bernard, Jaylen Warren. I love whenever Darnell Washington gets the ball because it's just so funny to watch. It's just so much bigger than everyone. He basically looks like those viral videos when they're— when it's like this 350-pound 8th grader in Georgia is going to be the top recruit, like offensive lineman. And he's just standing next to like kids that are 5'6. That's what— that's what Darnell Washington looks like on an NFL football field. It's fun to watch.
Yeah, he makes— he makes DK look like the skinny one.
Yeah.
Yeah. Okay. You guys want to do Patriots-Jets?
Yeah, sure.
Your holes remain intact.
Patriots 26, Jets 19.
Never a doubt.
Ever? Yeah, I— if we're gonna do the— when you corrected me saying I said it was gonna be— it was a no sweat. When you were saying some, this is getting weird, and I was—
Yeah, the stars were aligning for, for it getting weird, but thankfully it was the Jets.
But you, you had— there was doubt that had crept in your head.
A very, very small amount of doubt only because of the plays that the Patriots are making.
Okay. Well, that, so that's doubt. What, how's that knocked out? That's literally, so you're saying because of what you were watching on the field, you had a little doubt.
But sometimes it's that, it's sometimes it's the way the other team's playing. You're like, oh, this team is playing good enough to beat us. This game was not the case. Like not that case. It was just like, if we make every mistake, we might lose this game. And we made like 3 or 4 mistakes where it's like, What's going on? This is getting weird.
That sounds like doubt. You just described doubt.
I was never— there was never a doubt.
Like, sometimes teams make mistakes. That's, that's part of football.
But against the Jets, you have to make like a lot, a lot, a lot of mistakes.
Okay.
And they tried.
Memes?
Well, yeah, the second half, but the Jets 100% outplayed in the first half. Like you keep saying, it's the Jets.
You got outplayed.
You guys had a 14-minute time of possession. We had a minute 30. We were up 7-3. You guys held the ball for longer for sure. But I don't know about outplayed.
In the first half, 100%. He got 2 completions. Is that true? Yeah.
And one of them for a touchdown.
They had 2 completions and then they went 3 and out on the 2-minute drill. That's what— that's what fucked— that fucked the entire game. They went 3 and out, gave it right back to them. They scored another touchdown and they were just down the rest of the game.
Well, you were— you were down 17-3 at half, so you can't say it was like We got outplayed, but we're up 17-3 at half. Yeah.
Also everything until that, that 3-and-out.
Yeah. Aaron Glenn, what do we think about him doing a halftime interview saying good news is we've got the ball and then they immediately flashed to the Patriots starting the second half with the ball?
I think he was very optimistic and we got the ball right back and scored on the next drive.
Trust these guys.
Trust these guys.
We're going to get the ball.
Yeah, we're going to get the ball. He got the ball.
Wait, did they score? Did he say we're getting the ball or—
He said the good thing is we get the ball.
Okay.
Well, at some point, like, he was right. Like, at some point they're going to get the ball in the second half and they got it back immediately.
So he's right.
So he's right. And they scored immediately.
That's what— that's the power of optimism.
Yeah, that's optimism.
Hank, how do you feel? By the way, I think Drake Maye played outstanding in the second half today. Really good football.
He played good in the first half too.
How— well, you guys were down pretty much barely winning 10-3 until it was 17-3 before halftime.
Yep.
But is there something going on with AJ Brown?
Listen, AJ Brown, he was hurt. He's used to catching underthrown balls. It's going to take some time for him and Drake Maye to get comfortable. And he was rusty.
The passes are too good is what you're saying.
It's going to take time. Yes. Like he's going to take time for him to get used to like completing catches that hit his chest.
Oh, Max has a question.
Christopher.
What about all the Patriots fans just saying, oh, last year was a fluke because he didn't want to play with Jalen Hurts and then he did the exact same thing today?
What would be the exact same?
Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about.
He just dropped every pass.
Yeah.
And he alligator armed a deep ball that if he just stuck his arms out, Overthrown by a mile.
No, he, he looked like bad, comically bad. Like the, the, the onside kick attempt at the end of the game where it just hit his face.
Why'd they put him on hands, T? Just see one go through the net.
It seemed like they kept trying to do that. Like he, he dropped a few and then the first play of the next drive is like they were going to him, they were going to him, they're trying to get him warmed up again. It's going to take time. Like it's his— it's basically his first game because he got hurt early in the first game. So we're, we're, we're basically in the preseason with AJ Brown. We seem to be, you know, do you think the kicker's comfortable?
Was the kicker for the Jets doing that thing?
It was the second half.
It was the second half.
Yeah, it was the second half from the—
no, I'm saying, but it was the first game.
But you said early in the first game. He got hurt in the second half.
In the second half of the first.
Yeah, but like early.
He's also played a lot of football early in the season.
Early in the game.
And he stunk last year and everyone was like, oh yeah, that's just because Jalen Hurts. And he stunk again today.
That would be a cause of concern if he looks this bad moving forward.
What do you think?
Because he looked horrible.
What do you think about him not celebrating with his teammates when they score a touchdown?
That's true.
I didn't see that.
Max forwarded that to my desk.
Oh my God.
It was just something that came across my desk, so I thought maybe it would also be of interest.
Yes.
To PFT's desk.
Wait, can I see this?
Can I forward it across your desk? One moment.
I don't know why Max is too scared to forward that across my desk.
Memes, how are you feeling overall?
We stink. But, but I mean, they could have won this game today. Yeah, true. They just couldn't execute. What do you mean, true? They could have.
I agree.
I'm agreeing with you. I said true. Sorry.
Let it out, Memes.
No, it's all right. They could have won the game.
Why didn't they?
They didn't execute.
Facts.
100.
Wait, memes. Don't let him.
I'm agreeing with him.
Do you think you've— you had a team that was good enough to win today?
I think— I think we have the guys that are good enough to win.
Oh, I'm excited for Thursday night.
Thursday night should be fun.
So fun.
Where—
where's the—
where's Whose Line Is It Anyway?
I don't know where.
There's my 3.5. I would say 2.5.
Want me to pull it up?
Sure.
I'll pull it up if you guys don't mind.
Patriots plus sign is going to be fantastic.
2.5.
Okay.
Plus 130 for the money line.
What about your offensive line, Hank?
We, we had about 7, 7 injuries. We have 5 offensive linemen hurt. We got 3 more that got hurt today. That's a major concern. It felt like every drive we were— someone was going down with an injury. So yeah, that, that will be something we just got to get the ball quick.
Preach.
Get the ball fast.
Whoa, whoa.
What?
I don't get mad when people agree with me.
Oh, got it.
Oh, you're talking about memes.
You cut me off while I was talking.
True.
You were doing that. Memes, I'm going to give you the floor.
Hey, just cut you off while you were talking. True. He's doing it. True.
Memes, the floor is yours.
No, I know. Big floor is mine.
Stop cutting me off, Hank. It's your floor.
You got it.
It's your floor.
I don't think it's my floor.
Go take the floor, Memes.
This is— if Hank cuts you off. Yeah, I'm going to cut.
I won't.
They could have won. And now he's doing hand signals.
Yeah, he's doing—
Oh, he's not— wait, is he not allowed to exist?
He's doing hand signals.
He's not cutting you off.
Doing hand signals. They could have won. The Patriots have the better coach.
Hmm.
That's right. That's really it.
Mike Vrabel did say after the game that the Patriots were lucky to win. So that sounds like there might have been a little doubt.
It was again, it's like it was very lucky that we were playing the Jets. Like if we were playing a better team, we lose that game. We won in spite of ourselves. OK, but, but in the NFL, like a win's a win. You take it however you can get. Should have covered, missed a fucking extra point, knew it was going to come back to cost us. It came back to cost us. Not covering that game was criminal because we, we should have won by like 30.
We didn't. Saw that sentiment a lot. You didn't.
Correct.
Another—
another—
can't say should have. Jets should have won. You didn't.
OK, we could have won by 30. We could have covered.
Jets could have won by 30.
Yeah.
Facts.
But you scored on the first drive of the game.
True.
We had a phantom pass interference call. Yeah. Bullshit.
Facts.
Omar Cooper looked good.
Omar Cooper, really great.
Yeah, really good.
Jets skill position players when they're fully healthy, like Sadiq. Yeah, Sadiq, Mason Taylor, Omar Cooper, Garrett Wilson, and A.D. Mitchell. Like, if Geno gets a ball out and Frank Reich actually dials something up, touchdown.
True.
Hank, Hank's being such a shit to you, memes. I don't like it.
You said that. I don't like it. He's being such shit. That you guys would have lost, but it was the Jets.
If that happens Thursday night, we're losing.
I'll say this.
I'm just going to list some teams and you tell me if you were playing against those teams today, if they would have beat you.
Let's do this.
I like this exercise. The Bills.
Yes.
They would have beaten you.
Yes.
The Ravens.
Yes.
The Bears.
Yes.
The Broncos.
Definitely.
The Browns.
Yes.
Whoa.
The Dolphins in Miami.
Yes.
Sunny day.
Yep.
What about the Titans?
Um, yeah, I mean, the way they played today. Yeah.
Cardinals.
Definitely.
The Colts.
Is Anthony Richardson quarterback?
No, it's, uh, it's Andrew Luck. And but the The balls are being provided by the Colts.
Then yes.
The Jets?
No.
Is there any other team?
No.
Chargers?
Come on.
I don't— I'll say no. I'll say no. Chargers. Yeah, they're a fucking joke. They can't do anything.
I don't think the Jets are that bad, memes.
Me neither.
They're not. They're not. Okay. You're such a jerk. It means I was sitting— Hank was sitting right behind me. To say that he had no doubt is a lie. He had— there was, there was some nervous talk at points in this game. Absolutely.
Yeah, 100%. But then Geno threw the interception.
Yeah.
That's the only thing that you could say. That's the Jets.
And Aaron Glenn just needs to figure out when he— when they get the ball.
That's a, that's a spoken into existence.
Well, that and the, the Under 2 minutes is a major—
yeah, what was the stat?
It was like 9— he's been outscored 96 to 7 under 2 minutes.
Oh my God, it's bad.
And it lost us the game today.
And that's all like those, those end of 2 minutes in the first half, start of 2 minutes, you know, 4 minutes, like that double dip is like, that's how games are decided.
They went field goal, 3 and out, touchdown.
That's literally how the Saints won today was that double dip. Damn.
But like, is that his fault when, when they're just going 3 and out? That's got to be on the offense.
Yeah, that's true.
He needs to play that game though, the 2-minute drill.
Yeah, the 2-minute drill.
That probably would help him.
It definitely would.
He definitely needs to play that game. Okay. Next game, Panthers 25, Eagles 14. Max has given up, rightfully so.
Yeah. I mean, it's preseason.
You, you, at one point, you were sitting so far away from your game, it was almost like you were, you were like, didn't want to be seen with your game.
This is the way I'll describe it. Like, have you ever seen a scary movie where you go, where you're watching it and you kind of like have to watch in between your eyes because you like have to disassociate yourself with that game?
Yeah.
Or that, that movie. That's how I'm watching Eagles games right now, is that like I can't sit too closely and pay because I know that it stinks. I know that what I'm watching stinks, that I need some sort of space barrier because it's not worth my anger because it's not an NFL football team.
So your distance was actually making you more calm?
Yes.
Because, yeah. So, so we have, we have 8 TVs on the wall in the gambling cave here in the office. And Max started the game sitting basically right in front of his game. And then at halftime, I just started hearing his voice and I was like, what game is he talking about? Because he had moved to the other side of the room. He was sitting the furthest point from the Eagles game TV. And he just couldn't— he couldn't be seen with it. He didn't want to be seen in public with, with the Eagles team that was On the field.
Yeah, I mean, we're just— we're just— it's just not, not a good football team. It's just— there's just not very many good football players on that football team right now.
You guys, they're all hurt.
Still win the NFC East.
We could.
We could still win the NFC East.
What do we think about Tanner McKee? Should we—
I—
we should call.
Yeah, let's call Pug.
Let's call Pug.
Yeah.
He'll help. Number one guy.
Brighten up our spirits.
Yeah. Would you like me to say what I think while we wait or no?
Yeah, go ahead.
Actually, let's wait.
Joe Milton. I love Joe Milton.
Joe Milton would at least be fun.
Yes, he would be a lot of fun.
He would be fun.
We want to see Bazooka Joe.
Pug's just living his life now. Yeah, Pug doesn't— Sunday nights, he might be in bed. Yeah, he could be.
Actually, it's late.
Yeah, I think he might be in bed.
Oh, the second he was no longer doing part of my take on Sundays, He takes full advantage. Yeah, go to bed early.
Why not?
He probably goes to the brewery, taps in, and then watches the Eagles and then goes to bed at like 9 o'clock.
Joe Milton one time threw an orange 106 yards in the air. Yeah.
This is what I'll say about Tanner McKee. I think this week was pretty hectic. It was, you know, he didn't have a full week of prep. There's a lot going on, a lot of scary things going on in the quarterback room.
Okay.
Jalen Hurts.
Yeah.
No, I just—
here's a medical—
no, no, it is. But it's scary things. Like, he was scared.
I don't know. Yeah.
Okay.
There's a lot going on.
Okay.
He's got to get a full week of prep before, before Cowboys next week. I still believe in Tannehill. I think that he will be better. He can be better. There were times that he didn't look terrible today. The O-line is still bad. It's just not a very good football team.
PFT's got his hand raised.
Mr. Commenter.
Hey, yeah, Max, it's Mr. Commenter. First of all, congratulations on the Sixers season starting. You can just elegantly pivot into being a big LeBron fan now. But when it comes to the Eagles, there's a lot of chatter around their coach, Nick Sirianni. And how do you weigh Nick Sirianni's performance as a head coach? Given that they've lost 4 straight games for the first time under his tenure versus the injuries that he's had to deal with and overcome? I'll take my question offline.
Um, I think—
oh, Pug's calling me back.
Okay.
Pug, what's up? Hey, we're taping PMT right now and we, we had to, we had to call you about Tanner McKee. What'd you think? It's not the best day, but not everybody can play Lights out every Sunday. Sometimes you have okay days.
That's fine. Okay, it's an okay day.
I mean, you're the number one Tanner McKee guy, so we, we had to talk to you. I mean, the offense, I think it's kind of no matter who you put in at QB, the offense is just a bad operation right now. Jalen, Tanner, it doesn't matter.
Preach.
Bad operation.
What about Joe? What if it was Joe?
What about Joe Milton?
Nah.
No, Bazooka Joe?
What a hater.
I mean, he can throw it deep, but yeah, we need someone that— I don't know, it's the, the operation's bad. Okay, we need, we need some new offensive minds in there. I'll say that. What do you think about, uh, do you think Tanner McKee just needed a week where there was, you know, maybe a settled-down week where he's practicing with the ones, no scary stuff happening? Yeah, I mean, look, it only gets better from here. Like, now he's got time, more time with the ones. Like, it might even look even better next week. So, right, right. It, it could also look worse. Yeah, it looked fine.
Okay, uh, Pug, Pug, do you think the Eagles can still win?
He's gonna get better and then it'll look sick.
Yeah, Pug, do you think the Eagles can still win the NFC East?
No.
All right. We look like shit. All right. We love you, Pug. Thank you for giving us 10.
Love you, Pug. Bye, Pug.
Love you.
See you.
Love you, Pug.
He's a good boy.
Great boy. They look fine.
They look fine. Everything looked fine. But also the offense looks like shit.
Yeah, but it's fine.
It's a bad off— it's a bad operation.
It's a bad operation all around.
Yeah. The defense, the The defense, they keep you in it and then, and then there's so many 3-and-outs that they just have to be on the field for so long, so long, so long that eventually they're just going to break.
Yes. Hey, Max, PFT comments from part of my take. Can I refer you to my previous question about Nick Sirianni, evaluating Nick Sirianni as a head coach, weighing it against all the injuries?
Today was tough to tell. It's just bad. It was just— there's just bad football players out there.
Yeah.
And then there was a moment where I think it was like, it felt like 3 plays in a row. DeVonta Smith goes down. Dontavion Wicks goes down. Jordan Davis goes down.
Yeah.
I know it couldn't be 3 plays in a row because that was 2 offensive players, 1 defensive player, but it felt like 3 players. Listen, Sirianni.
First 4-game losing streak of his career.
I don't know, man. Like, it's hard. It's hard to even be mad. The players are bad. They're bad football players right now.
I read that this is the first time since 1999 that the Eagles haven't had 250 yards of offense in 4 straight games.
Bad operation.
Bad operation.
Yeah, they just got bad football players right now.
Have you— do you have a little comfort in knowing that you kind of can give up?
I'm not giving up yet.
Okay.
Beat the Cowboys next week.
Anything can happen.
I need the Packers to win this game.
Yeah.
The NFC East, not like anyone's dominating.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Yeah.
You could still win the NFC East, right, BFD?
Yeah.
I thought so.
But now that Pug kind of said no, I don't know if I believe that anymore. He absolutely said no.
I mean, you got a finger on the pulse.
You beat the— if the Cowboys lose this game, beat the Cowboys next week, you're right. You're right there.
Yeah.
Yeah. Right there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The defense is— I still believe in the defense.
Your defense is good. You've still got all the good players. I don't think Vic is going to forget how to coach overnight. When is he coming back?
Great question. Hopefully next week. I believe he'll come back for Monday Night Football next week.
Oh, that's Monday Night Football.
Yeah, I'll be in. I'll be in the house.
Oh, hell yeah.
We shout out Tick Pick.
Shout out Tick Pick. Panthers. Look, I mean, Bryce Young is playing well. I know he didn't have like the most efficient day. But Bryce Young's playing well this season. Panthers off bye, win a game that they should win against a bad Eagles team currently.
First time that Canales gets a win off a bye.
And Chuba Hubbard. Oh, Dak is such a big stupid picks guy.
Yeah.
Goddamn it.
Oh, Dak's the best. I fucking love that guy.
He's right.
So bad.
Standing right there.
What is that throw?
Dak is such a big stupid picks guy.
How many, how many Packers fans do you think Dak's going to try to get fired.
I'll take the over now.
Dumbass.
Yeah. Good for Carolina. Good for Carolina. Canales' first win off a bye, I think, of his career as a head coach. And then Jalen Coker is just— Jalen Coker is just good. We need to start appreciating Jalen Coker. He needs to be talked about like one of the group of very, very— I don't know if he's a great wide receiver. He's a very, very good wide receiver right Mm-hmm.
And Chuba Hubbard looks like he's back. Like he's, he's had 2 really nice games in a row. I agree. Jalen Coker is awesome.
Then he cleaned up with some of the penalties, though.
Yeah. Also, they tried to pants Dallas Goedert. That was fucked up.
Is that a— is that a flag for flagging?
I think there was a holding on it.
There was. Yeah, 100%. Yeah. I mean, he was running a route that you can't— he was holding on to his pants.
You can't pull a guy's pants. Can you take your own pants off?
Randy Moss.
You ever seen that?
Like, you know, Randy Moss.
I've seen that in like a fight clip. A guy just like gets naked real quick and the other guy runs away. It's a good form of self-defense.
Yeah. What? So Jalen Hurts is on the IR, so he should be out for the rest of the year. What's the situation?
I don't know. I don't know what to tell you, man.
OK, well, you said it. You're going— you're going Monday night. PFT. Do you have— you have an ad for TickPick Monday night? You'll be in the building.
I will be in the building Monday night. We got a couple more weeks of Tanner McKee to see if we can stay in the fight. Wait, you're—
whoa, whoa, whoa.
You're going to the game. You want— you want Bazooka Joe?
No, I want Tanner McKee.
I want Tanner McKee.
You want Bazooka Joe.
You're going to be in the stands drunk being like, Bazooka Joe.
Yeah. The first— the first, like, it's going to be 3rd and 8 and you're going to throw a 4-yard out and you're going to say they need to put Joe Milton in the ballgame. Joe Milton's a fucking fluffy guy.
I want Bazooka Joe when— I still have a little bit of hope in the season. I want Bazooka Joe when I've lost all hope in the season and maybe be like, maybe he could bring me back. It's bronze season. And be like, if the season's gonna suck, at least Bazooka Joe will be fun.
It's bronze season. Part of my take is brought to you by our friends over at TickPick. The NBA is back tomorrow night. TickPick is sending the Booth Boys to the Garden.
Oh yeah.

Yeah.
All of it.
That sounds awesome. Enjoy. Enjoy New York. And Max, you guys just signed Taco Fall too, right?
Yep. Love tacos.
Taco Tuesday.
Yep.
In New York. LeBron in Sixers uniform.
Yeah, LeBron and Banner should do a little collab.
Banner night.
Banner night.
If you got your eyes on a game, it's Bron night. Well, so bigger than—
Yeah, it's Bron night.
So that's bigger than the Sixers?
Yeah, bigger than Banner.
Easy, big fella.
Bigger than Banner.
It's a home game for LeBron.
Yep.
Really short commute for him. Right, memes?
Oh yeah, he does live very close.
Yeah, he should still take the helicopter.

Okay, next up, the Tennessee Titans have a win. Titans 26, Colts 20. The Tennessee Titans, based on what we said on, uh, I think Friday's show, are technically good because they beat the grocery stick team.
I thought about this. Yeah, um, you can make the argument the Colts kind of beat themselves.
Oh, so big time.
Would that— that would mean that the Colts are a bad team because they lost to the Colts.
Oh yeah. They're really bad.
And the Titans.
Yeah.
So, but no credit to Tennessee. They won a game. Congratulations. Enjoy it.
Yeah.
I don't know how many more times it's going to happen this year, but you get a victory Monday. On Monday, you get to listen to, to sports talk radio. You get to turn on ESPN without living in fear of getting blindsided by an accidental highlight of you getting your teeth kicked in.
Yeah.
So enjoy it.
It—
their defense was awesome. Opportunistic. They, uh, this is their first win in the AFC South in, uh, 12 tries. So November— 11-game losing streak in the AFC South dating back to November 24th, 2024. They, they break that. 6-game losing streak against the Colts, they break that. 7-game losing streak dating back to December 2025, they break that. 4-game road losing streak back to December 2025. They break that. It wasn't pretty. Cam Ward was still not good. Carnell Tate actually is good. So you— I think the Titans did a good job with that pick, but their defense did it. They forced fumbles. They made Daniel Jones be an idiot. They blocked punts. Uh, I was looking at it. I was looking back. The, the Titans scored 26 points And, uh, on those— on their, their drives to score points were 158 yards total. So they had a 22-yard field goal drive, a 51-yard field goal drive. This is all because of, you know, like a fumble, an interception. They got a punt return, uh, that— a 58-yard punt return that led to a 28-yard touchdown drive. They blocked a punt. Their last, uh, field goal was a 5-yard drive.
They didn't have to do a lot on offense because Jeffrey Simmons was an absolute beast. He was double-teamed. I saw the stat, he was double-teamed 24 times. He had 2 sacks and 7 pressures. I think they, they all came when he was being double-teamed. So he's just a monster of a man. And they were— the Titans were outgained, uh, 399 to 186. 11 first downs is what they had total. Doesn't matter. The Titans won a football game, and that's gotta feel good. Robert Saleh gets his first win in Tennessee. Good for the Titans. I'm happy for Titans fans. They've been through hell. We were talking about the hell they've been through. Obviously, this doesn't change like big picture, but like you said, one, one Monday they aren't the laughingstock. One Monday they, they can, they can turn on the TV, uh, and they could be like, hey, you know what, we won a football game. Winning a football game is hard to do. They won a football game. They get to wake up and have a victory Monday.
And they gave, they gave coach a game ball.
Yeah.
And said, congratulations, you deserve this. Their return game's always been like— Jamiro Dike is actually a pretty good returner.
Yeah.
So he had a good punt return. He had some good kickoff returns as well today. The Colts— I have a theory about Daniel Jones. I think he's extremely unhealthy right now.
Oh, I think he's just bad because he's always been pretty bad outside of like a couple like really good runs, but not as a career. His career has not been good.
To start the season last year, he was really, really good.
Yeah.
No, no, I said a couple of them tore his Achilles. Yeah.
And the Achilles is something that takes a long time to fully come back from. I'm not saying that Daniel Jones is going to be like— what was he, 6-2 last year? He's not a guy that's going to take your team to 13-4. I'm not saying that, but I am saying he's not as bad as he has been playing. But I think that our expectation of somebody coming off an Achilles is it's a— it can be skewed sometimes.
What outside of his one good year for the Giants makes you think that he's going to be a top of top 10, top 15 quarterback in the NFL?
I would say probably about exactly somewhere between 12 and 15. He could be.
But he's not. He had one really, really good year with Brian Daboll. And other than that, he's pretty much the same.
To start the season last year.
Yeah.
No, I'm saying, yeah, besides that and the one good year, the rest of his career has been pretty much the same.
That's why I was thinking that—
Where it's like I would trust more the times when he's not looked very good versus the couple of times that he has looked a little bit above average.
I was just thinking for the Colts in this offense, it's pretty similar team to what it was last year. I think he's not as bad as he's played this year is what I'm getting at. Now, if you look at his winning percentage, just as everything's not on a, not on a quarterback, I believe Anthony Richardson has the same winning percentage for the Colts as Daniel Jones does.
Yeah, I didn't— going into this season, I was— I mean, I've never been like the biggest Daniel Jones believer. I, I just don't understand. Like, the Colts as a franchise need to blow it all up. They like— Daniel Jones is not your quarterback. Chris Ballard's not your GM. Shane Steichen, you could say. Could be a good coach somewhere else, but he got screwed by being in this poisonous organization. I feel bad for Colts fans because they are just the exact same team every single year, and it's not a good product. Chris Ballard is in his 10th season as a GM. He's 72-82-1 in those 10 years. So 9, 9 plus 6, uh, games this year. He has been To 2 playoffs, 1 playoff win, and he's never won the AFC South. The AFC South. And I know you're thinking right now, oh, the Jaguars and the Texans look good. No, no, those teams were like, have not been historically good. It's been a very gettable division. Chris Ballard's never won it as a GM. Colts fans have to— you lost Seth DeFlow. Seth DeFlow is gone. He said he's like, he's— you gotta— what was the exact— I think his exact tweet, reset the shoe.
Reset the shoe. It's over. You can't lose this game. I know, like, statistically you dominated the Titans, but you can't lose this game. You can't lose to a team that hasn't won in the division in like 2 years.
I wonder what the all-time record is for longest interdivision losing streak, because 11 games has got to be close.
It's—
yeah, I can't, I can't think of any other teams that have—
Hank is looking up that. But I— but that— so I, I know what you're saying, like Daniel Jones has come back from injury. I get that Achilles is pretty serious, but you can't— you, if you're a Colts fan, you have to demand for everything to change. You can't be like it's because of Daniel Jones' Achilles, because that's kind of what, what has happened for the Colts the last decade is they basically the entire time have been like, well, Andrew Luck retired early. And then we had to get Phil Rivers, and then we had to get Matt Ryan, and then we had to, you know, do this and that, and another style. And Jacoby Brissett, stopgap quarterbacks. Oh, and then we're gonna get Daniel Jones, and he was pretty good for a few games, and then he, he hurt himself, which, that sucks. But you gotta just blow the whole thing up. It's like none of it works. All your guys are old. I don't even know who you could trade at this point. It sucks for Colts fans. I, I feel, I feel like I have to have to stick up for him because like Indianapolis is not a major market, so they're not going to lead Get Up, they're not going to lead like the national sports shows.
But there should be— if this were any other, like if this is a big market franchise, people would be like, how the fuck does Chris Ballard still have a job? How the fuck is this thing still going 10 years where it's the exact same every year? Can't win a division, can't win the division.
It's, uh, it's reset the shoe. It's pretty ridiculous that Seth DeFlow Well, it's— he also bears some responsibility in this because everything went sideways after he apologized.
Yeah.
I mean, the Colts weren't that good last year. I mean, I know they were.
I think they were 6-2.
I know, but they were never—
After Flo apologized for getting too violent, what'd he say? We have to, we have to break someone's knee.
Shove it up Rodgers' ass.
Yeah. Shove it up Rodgers' pooper. And, um, you never apologized.
But I think the most dangerous thing the Colts Colts could do, and I, I think most Colts fans probably agree with me here, is like to be like, well, we were 6-2 last year, and if Daniel Jones can get healthy, maybe we can re— no, no, that, that was not— this team is not sustainable long-term. This team is not good long-term. You have, you have to change everything.
I'm mostly saying that I don't think that Daniel Jones is, is the biggest problem that they have. I think they've got, uh, they've got—
no, it's Chris Powell—
a long list of problems. in Indy that they need to address. And I don't, I don't even really know where you begin to start, but probably they're going to go through a coaching change this offseason.
You have to.
I would imagine that you would probably— and listen, there's certain ways to do things in the NFL. I think we've seen that probably the worst possible way to do it is to keep your general manager and then have that person hire a new coach. And then you fire the general manager and you keep the coach. And then you bring in a new general manager who didn't hire that coach. And so then everything's off-kilter for about like 10 years.
He's already gotten 2 new coaches. I would say he's already gotten 2 new coaches.
I would say, I would say get rid of, of everybody if you're going to get rid of one of them.
He fired, I think his first year he fired Pagano, got Frank Reich, then fired Frank Reich, obviously Jeff Saturday for a minute, then Shane Steichen. He's, he's survived a million quarterback changes. Drafting Anthony Richardson with the 4th overall pick. I mean, he's— it's insane that he— they haven't won the division in 10 years. What other GM gets that? Like, no GM gets that.
I don't know who's making, making the calls. Is it Miss Irsay right now? Is she the— the buck stops here?
Yeah, I mean, when did, when did Jim Irsay pass away? Was it during last season or was it the beginning of last season? So I would, I would assume that she probably didn't want to make a decision. Yeah, so it was Right before the beginning of last season. What?
Yeah.
May 21st.
Oh, so it was after last—
It was Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals 2 years ago.
Yeah. So it was right before the beginning of last season, like, like before, like training camp and all that.
Got it. Got it. Got it.
Got it.
Got it.
Got it. So I could understand not making a change last year. Totally get that. Now you got to make a change because it's crazy. She's— I mean, she said almost that she basically is it. Intimated that.
Yeah.
But it's just—
I think it's—
Colts fans have just been through— it's like a— it's a different type of hell than the Titans fans, because Titans fans have just had to deal with just rock bottom. Colts fans have just been being sold this like junk over and over and being like, well, we're kind of— if you look at it sideways, maybe, you know, 8-9. Oh, we went 9-8. Oh, they get— they won 4 games to finish the season. You don't fuck— you know. They could have gotten hot and gotten in the dance. Like, it's just that over every year. And maybe this is a blessing that you guys are, are going to be bad this year.
I think that this loss in particular is a good thing. It's terrible. It's embarrassing. If you're a Colts fan, it's— this has got to be rock bottom. But it's a good thing, I think, long term that you lost to the Titans, that you were the team that gave— and the Titans, honestly, like they, they weren't that good on offense today. Again, they were bad on offense again today, but you lost to them. And if you're going to have a— if you're going to have a loss, it might as well be a really bad loss for a team that's in this position. If you had gone on being the grocery stick and—
Yeah.
And you beat every team that is truly at the bottom of the league, for example, the Commanders, you beat those types of teams, then guess what? That's going to keep everybody— it's going to keep you stuck in the quicksand of mediocrity for a very long time.
Yeah.
No, a blow-it-up loss. is going to be one that you can look back on and say, that was, that was the best way that we could have lost, even though it sucked at the time.
Yeah. If you won this game, you would have been 3-3 and you would have been telling yourself, oh shit, like they got a chance. Like, no, just it's, it's bad. It's bad. It's tough watch.
At least they've got Indiana.
Yeah. That didn't go well. Nick Marsh. I still can't believe that.
Well, in general. Yeah. In general, if you're a Colts fan, you're probably also Well, high percentage Purdue, Indiana football.
Purdue actually had like for the first time in a long time, they had some positive momentum and then lost to Washington's backup on Friday night. So that wasn't good. Okay. Last early game, Saints 34, Giants 27. Shuck, Shuck wins 3 touchdowns. Gritty effort. He's been playing with a broken hand. His offhand, but he's got 2 broken bones in his hand. Uh, we had like a little Alvin Kamara throwback on that screen. The, the Saints— it was, it was really the end of the first half where I, I don't like going for it on 4th down at the end of a half because like we've talked about, you don't get the benefit of giving the other team bad field position. But I think Kellen Moore was in a desperate situation where he's like, we have to do something. Because they started slow again where they're down 7-nothing almost instantly. But that was the change in the game.
It was—
they scored at the end of— they went for it on 4th down, scored at the end of the first half to tie it 10-10, then scored first drive second half, 17-10. Then Jameis— listen, I just started charting, uh, interceptions. I don't think any of those interceptions were on Jameis.
We have to wait for the All-22.
Yeah, but yeah, no, I, I saw it. I don't even need to wait for the There was, uh, there was one where—
was it, was it Nabers that was coming back to the ball?
Yeah, he didn't put his hands up.
He did everything except just put his hands up, and so it kind of just went past him. And then another one where, again, I, I don't really care to watch it again. I guess I will watch the All-22 because I have to. It's my job.
Yeah.
Um, but I'm just gonna say that Jameis did a great job getting his backup prepared for this game.
Yeah.
Because then JJ McCarthy came in. Yeah.
And had—
this is why we got to have defined roles like closers in baseball. JJ McCarthy in the 4th quarter, 18, comes in and just lit the world on fire. Yeah, he came back big.
He came in, his 4th pass I think was an interception. Then after that, he was 11 for 21 for 243 yards and a touchdown.
It was—
he was—
he—
what was his yardage in the 4th quarter?
Just in the 4th quarter alone?
JJ?
Yeah. 242.
242.
Yeah, it was all— yeah.
Damn. That—
I mean, probably not great for Jameis that that happened. No, I'd say no, because if you're Harbaugh— and I think Harbaugh has called J.J. McCarthy a mix of Michael Jordan and Abe Lincoln. So that's going to be tough.
That's good when a Harbaugh says your quarterback's really good.
Yeah.
Do I have permission to say a stat that was given to me that is not I did not go seek out, but I was given and asked to say on the show.
Mm-hmm.
What's the stat?
J.J. McCarthy in the 4th quarter had more passing yards than Jayden Daniels has had in the past 2 years.
Oh, no.
Okay.
I didn't really play last year.
Well, J.J. McCarthy just played one quarter.
Yeah, it was a great quarter.
Good quarter. That's all.
Who gave you that?
J.J. had a great quarter.
This guy who's like a really, really big JJ McCarthy fan.
Oh wow.
That feels like a somewhat unnecessary shot.
I agree.
I'm just, I'm just over here trying to tread water, maybe not get blown out on Monday Night Football, mind my own business.
Wait, so did Jayden Daniels or, or, or Nine play more in the 4th quarter last year?
Probably, probably JJ.
How many games did he play last year too?
Yeah.
Yeah, he played.
Jayden didn't really play that much last year.
Yeah, it's not a huge sample size.
Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. Listen, it feels unnecessary because I'm—
it feels like a mean stat.
I'm also a JJ fan. Yeah, I'm a 9 fan.
I'll tell, I'll tell Greer. I mean, whoever sent me that stat.
He's bitter because— yeah, there's a lot of reasons that he's bitter right now, but that's okay. The pace that JJ was on, I did see this tweet that right after he got in after the first 2 drives, he was on pace for 1,325 yards. 142 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.
Wow.
Not long after he entered the game.
Wow. So, well, and also, would it be 5 picks as well?
Also 5 interceptions.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Which would be— I mean, what an incredible game that would be.
That would be an insane game.
We have a doghouse alert.
Oh, yeah.
John Harbaugh's got a doghouse and, and Cam Scatterboo is firmly locked up in there right now.
He's licking his own butt in there.
He's been, he's been trapped in that doghouse and The worst part is Harbaugh's kind of denying that it's a doghouse. He's just saying, I'm trying to figure out what the right flow of running back usage is going to be for our rotation. Um, Skyytiboo had zero carries. It's the doghouse. You were in the doghouse for fumbling. I also think it was weird. He did get in the kicker's face when he missed a field goal last week. And then right after that, he proceeded to fumble in overtime.
Yeah.
And I don't think that you can do both those things.
Yeah.
And for what? You know, whatever reason he's in the doghouse. I don't know how you get out of a Harbaugh doghouse. The only way to get out of like Belichick's doghouse would be if there was like an injury ahead of you.
Yeah.
And you were forced— he was, he was forced to, against his better judgment, have to hand you the football again. But I don't know how you get out of this doghouse because it seems pretty ironclad.
Yeah, it doesn't, it doesn't feel good. Cam Scadaboo admitted, he said, I got punished for what I did last week. I understand it. So I got to be ready when coach calls my name. And that wasn't today. That's tough. I think he had 6 snaps, 0 carries. Yeah, man. I think this is just culture. Harbaugh's doing the culture setting. Yeah, he's using Cam Scat— he probably told him to the side. He was like, listen, man, I got to make a— I got to make an example out of someone here. You're going to be the guy.
But imagine how— imagine how good Scattinger is going to be when he gets out of the doghouse.
Oh, like, if you've ever—
crazy.
You ever been on vacation and then you come back and you see your dog for the first time?
Yeah.
And he goes nuts and it pees everywhere. Gets the zoomies. Scatterbrew is going to have the zoomies when he gets— when he finally gets let out.
Yeah, he was, uh, he— it would be fun to see him back, but good for the Saints. By the way, uh, I got the update on Kellen Moore. He gave 5 game balls today. Feels like a little muted.
I think there's gonna be more.
I feel like he should have given more game balls.
Okay, number one, you have to give one to, uh, Miss Benson. Just gotta, yeah, kiss ass a little bit, play the game. I did see that he gave one to their left guard, David Edwards. He got to get a game ball. And the reason why was because he was asking to run the quarterback sneak at the goal line. So he called that play and Kellen Moore was like, game ball. That's game ball material.
Nice.
One less play I had to call.
Exactly. Alvin Kamara also got a game ball because he deserved— he joined the 5,000 yards club. I'm assuming that's 5,000 yards receiving and 5,000 yards rushing. It is.
Over the course of his career. It's actually Kind of crazy because I think there's only 6— I think there's only 5 other guys in that club. Yeah. So players with 5,000-plus yards rushing, 5,000-plus yards receiving in NFL history: Lenny Moore, Marcus Allen, Marshall Faulk, Tiki Barber, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara. So 6 guys. Yeah, that is pretty— that's game ball worthy for sure. And who— I don't think Shuck got one. Hold on, I have the list.
It's fucked up.
I know. Emerson got one.
He's playing with a fucking broken hand.
Martin Emerson got one. He intercepted Jameis and JJ.
Yeah.
And then Isaiah Stallard and Julian Blackmon. Okay, so we need— but it's just— I— Kellen Moore, I think maybe he's a little nervous about his job. Dude, come on. We're not going to make fun of you. Give more game balls.
This might be like if you're nervous about your job, you're afraid of being accused of workplace theft.
Yeah.
So you don't want to, like, give away Too much merch. It could be used against you.
It's a big win for the Saints, though. It felt like they were in a bad spot reeling, and they went straight to Paris, which I think is beautiful this time of year.
Really nice over in Paris.
That's an international, probably the number one game I was going to.
You should go. You know what? Yeah, go. I'll pay for it. Yes, we'll pay for you to go to Paris this weekend.
Come on.
Yeah.
All right. You got it. All right, go run around. All right, great.
Go.
You're going? Oh yeah, I'll leave tomorrow.
Okay.
Okay, cool.
So you leave tomorrow, then come back Thursday night for Bears-Patriots, then leave back for Paris Friday.
Oh, true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll go scout.
Go over there, see what's going on.
Yeah, get a lay of the land. Get a lay of the land.
She was going with Macron's wife too.
Cool.
Never been to France. This is exciting.
Love a huge report.
Have you ever been to Europe?
Yeah. When I was like— when I was a youth.
And you went with Clem?
Oh, yeah. Yeah. I went to Latvia as an adult.
Yeah.
And I went to England and Scotland and Wales.
How old were you?
That's pretty cool.
What kind of golf do you think they have in France?
I don't know, probably some— there's a couple French guys.
Maybe you just bring your clubs and walk right down, you know, uh, what's it— what's it called? Uh, yeah, Champs-Élysées. Just be like, I'm here for the golf, I've got my money and I'm here for the golf. Yeah.
Okay, they're pretty much having a parade over there. You love parades. Yeah, you do. Think of all the daps.
Yeah, it'll probably be kisses.
But yeah, I got your flights.
Oh, perfect.
Well, I found your flights.
It's $2,300, but no problem. Anything for a guy, Hank.
Wow.
You kidding me?
But you're going to have to miss Sunday show, it looks like.
Oh, no.
He loves doing Sunday show.
And also Thursday, you'd have to leave.
Yeah.
Well, no, he's got to come back.
Yeah, he'll come back for that. Come back. But I mean, Hank, Hank loves being here when the Patriots aren't playing.
I do.
Just as locked in, if not more. Probably more.
Yeah. Will you be here next Sunday?
Yeah.
How do you say hungry dog in French?
What time?
Le chien. Le chien.
Le chien.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Probably like halftime.
Okay.
Early games.
Yeah. The Saints are, I believe, 8-0 against the spread in their last 8 road games. So they always cover away from the dome. The dome has not been good to them. The Domecomings, the Dome Sweet Dome. It's not— hasn't been a good place for the Saints recently, but they've been, they've been okay on the road. So they were, they were favorites in this game, right?
Yeah. 1.5.
I'm trying to think what— it's probably not very common for this late in the season, a team that's last place in their division to be favorites on the road against a team that's first place in theirs.
That's just, that's just— that already happened, though. The Giants were favorites over the— or the Cardinals were favored over the Giants.
Yeah.
No one.
Yeah. No one respects the Giants.
The books hate the Giants.
I mean, listen, they're, they're in first place in the NFC East. Yep. By 2 games in the loss column. I mean, that's a not insurmountable lead, but who's going to win the NFC East?
I got, I got a weird stat.
Big game on an NFL Sunday.
Who's going to win the NFC East?
If I could just get through like 6 minutes without having Greer give me insult stats and rattle my confidence. I'm just trying to not get embarrassed on Monday Night Football.
Mm-hmm.
There's a stat that I saw about the NFC East because obviously last week happened, yada, yada, yada. It was bad. This week also bad. And I believe that it would be the first time since the merger If the Commanders lose on Monday Night Football, the first time since the merger that a division has had no one in their division win a game for 2 weeks back to back.
Whoa.
We're looking at history here.
Whoa.
What's that look, Max?
That's pretty crazy.
That's an incorrect stat.
What?
Oh no.
Why?
Oh yeah, LPFT.
Eagles won the first 2 weeks.
No, no, no, no. Last 2 weeks. 2 weeks.
Big fucking dumb animal.
Got it.
Got it.
Big dumb animal. Focus on—
I am a big dumb animal.
Come on, dude.
He's in LeBron season.
That one. That one confused you hard.
I thought you said no team has won 2 weeks in a row.
No team.
He can't hear.
He doesn't understand.
All right, forget it. That's a little bit of a rewind.
The NFC East is a division in the—
I know, I know. I get it. I get it. I get it. I get it. I get it.
And there are 4 teams.
You don't have to keep doing this. I get it.
Giants, fluffy Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders. Last week, none of those teams won. Why? Because the Commanders and the Giants played each other and tied. This week, the Eagles lost.
Correct.
The Cowboys lost. The Giants lost. The Commanders have the 49ers on Monday Night Football where they're heavy underdogs. If the Commanders lose, that would be all 4 teams not winning again for the 2nd week in a row. And that has never happened, at least since the merger.
What if you just win?
That's what I'm saying. Great opportunity.
Yeah. Or what if, what if you don't win and then the next week the Giants lose to the Texans and then the Cowboys and the Eagles tie?
Oh, I love that.
That'd be fun.
Yeah.
You're on a bye, right?
We're on a bye. So we're That'd be the best bye. The bye's coming at a good time.
Yeah. Although you get— you're getting screwed.
I know.
Monday Night Football to a bye is— that's screwed.
It's the shortest bye.
The shortest bye you could possibly have.
Yeah. And West Coast too, coming back.
That's bullshit.
We're getting fucked.
Yeah.
At least you don't get a short week though.
Every week's short when you're me, Max. Hmm.
You do it.
Why'd you do that?
He beat you to it. Well, I didn't let you get it. He snatched it.
it.
Snatch a joke.
I wasn't quick enough to think of something like that.
Okay, uh, Cardinals 18, Rams 16. This was the shocker of the day. The Rams are now 2-4. The Cardinals are 2-0 at SoFi Stadium this year. They have more wins than the 2 teams that play there combined, which is nuts.
Wait, but the Chargers—
yeah.
Chargers have none.
Oh.
Rams have 1. Cardinals have 2. The Cardinals defense— shout out the Cardinals defense. They were incredible today. Budda Baker was everywhere. Jacoby Brissett did just enough to get 6 field goals. And there was a questionable call at the end of the game. But it doesn't matter because the Cardinals like had the Rams in hell. Matthew Stafford in hell. They looked like shit offensively all day. Their kicker got hurt.
Blake Groopy.
Blake Groopy.
He tried to— he tried to jack up the returner. And Blake Groopy is what, £120?
Yeah.
And yeah, just got fucked up on that. So they had to have the punter step in and try field goals.
Yeah.
Good.
Good for the Cardinals.
They—
I mean, what was their— what was their over-under wins going into the season? Was it 2.5?
No, I think it was 3.5.
3.5. But either way, Big win. They were 12.5-point underdogs.
They've got 2 of the biggest, like, craziest wins of the year.
Yeah.
And both in the stadium, I guess. Yeah. But yeah, they're just ruining everybody's survivor pools. If somebody took and still had the Rams in it, sorry, you got fucked again.
Big time.
Kyren Williams. It feels like there's some bad vibes going on with the Rams. Oh yeah. And I said this last week. Now the schedule did in theory soften up a little bit for the Rams. But they're, they're fucking around a little bit too much and they're running out of wiggle room.
I think they might just be bad.
They might be bad. There's a lot of bad vibes. Kyren Williams was asked after the game why he thought that the Rams couldn't sustain the energy drive to drive and why it was so inconsistent. And he said, can't tell you, bro, probably because I'm not out there. So he's not happy with his usage rate. Personally, I think Blake Corum's a pretty good player. So I don't know. It just— it's really bad vibes.
They could just—
they seems like he's not having a good time at all.
No. And then—
And then Davante Adams might be seriously injured.
Oh, he was.
It was a thing where it was non-contact.
Non-contact. In fact, Dr. Lockwood saying it's Achilles.
When did this happen?
End of the game.
End of the game.
Literally the last minute. Yeah, he does the like turnaround.
Wait, what did, what did, what did Dr. Chow say? The available angle doesn't reveal what happened. We're looking for more.
OK.
He did the turnaround.
He looked back at it.
And this Twitter doctor says left knee versus hamstring. I don't know what that means. It could be either one.
Those kids.
Come on.
Per Hank, for me.
But he's like, kind of— wait, is he walking around after or no?
I don't know.
He didn't really do the look back.
No, he was—
Hank, I'm watching it right now. When did he look back?
He looked back for his knee.
He was already looking back.
Yeah.
Okay.
I see what you're saying a little bit.
Yeah.
No, the Rams are in, in a certain level of hell right now where the takes are flying. I want to, I want to throw a couple takes that I saw. after the game out to you guys, and you let me know which one is, is the hotter take. The first one was from, uh, Turf Show Times. Turf Show Times, uh, SB Nation Los Angeles Rams community. Uh, this is from JB Scott. He said it's time to start Ty Simpson.
Yeah.
He said we drafted him, you didn't need to draft him, but you did. Now there's a QB controversy. Matthew Stafford does not look sharp this year, I will say that. But it's time. It's time for Ty Simpson.
What do you think?
I agree. I agree with it because I would just like to see Ty Simpson, what it looks like.
Yeah.
But if I'm trying to win football games, no, absolutely. That's insane.
Okay. This one I really like. This is from LA Sports, E-L-A-Y-E Sports. I think he is Adam. He is a broadcast TV LA Sports Fan. This is what is my favorite hot take I've seen in a while. Rams need to move on from McVay, not because he's a bad coach, but his coaching tree is too big. There's too many teams that can beat him because they know exactly what the Rams are going to do. Yeah, I love this.
Yep.
They figured him out, but they didn't have to figure him out.
They, they didn't have to figure him out.
They just had to—
they already knew because he told them.
The league as a whole has figured out McVay because his coaching tree has become the only tree.
He has, he has coaching tree sons. He has branches everywhere. And the branches have gained, what is it, sentient thought? And they're now fighting back and they know every single move he's going to do before he does it.
I like that. I like that take a lot.
It's a great take.
There's probably a small amount of truth in it.
Oh, definitely a little bit.
He's changed. He has changed the league.
The way the Cardinals were playing defense against the Rams. Mike LaFleur definitely knew what he was doing in terms of making Stafford uncomfortable. They were going after— I think they had to shuffle an offensive line or someone was hurt. They were blitzing the hell out of him. Like, you could see McVay was, was trying to out— that specifically, do you guys remember that 4th down, like 4th and 6? It felt like the entire 2nd half was the Rams like, oh, here come the Rams, they're finally going to do it. Nope. Turnover on downs. Cardinals punt again. Oh, here come the Rams. So there was one of those sequences where I think it was like 4th and 8 and they tried to do a Kyren Williams screen.
Yeah.
That was like— it was, it was like a— he threw it. Stafford had to throw the ball like you're 4th and 8 and he threw the ball 10 yards short of the sticks. And I think that might have been one of those moments where McVay was like, I don't know what the fuck to do. They keep coming after me. I got to figure this out. And So yeah, maybe this guy's right.
And it's just that any team that's ever called the Dream Team before the season starts, it's not going to work out.
Yeah.
It's not going to be like you thought it was going to be.
Nnamdi Asomugha.
You can't say— you can't say Dream Team in the NFL.
No.
And Steve Nash on the Lakers.
The best part about all this is that McVay has to sit. I think it's— I think it spirals for him because he's got the photographic memory.
Yeah.
So the way the season started in Australia, He just had a whole new Rolodex of shitty play memories. Yeah, that takes up space in his head and then it snowballs. And now he's just got— the RAM is full inside of his head. And I think, I think they'll be fine. Dogshit. Very bad play.
4th and 8, he throws it 12 yards short of the sticks on a screen.
I think that they'll make the playoffs. I don't want to take that back. I don't think they'll be fine. I think they will make the playoffs and this might be the end of the line. For the Stafford—
I don't know now.
I think maybe wildcard.
I thought they were gonna make the playoffs because I thought they were gonna start ripping off wins. And now, I mean, it's the whole time we've been saying that, oh, it's gonna be 3 teams from the NFC West, right? Well, what if it's now just 3 teams from the NFC North instead? I mean, the NFC North has— oh, every team is, you know, it's the Vikings 5-0, Packers 4-2, Bears 4-2, Lions 3-2 on a bye.
Yeah.
So they're already 2 games behind in the loss column for the— from the entire NFC North. Now obviously when NFC North starts playing each other, that's going to change a little bit. But yeah.
When was the last time that there were— that McVay had a player that was like openly hostile to him, to the media, like Kyren Williams appears to be? I won't say openly hostile, but at the very least Like openly passive-aggressive.
I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know how he handles something like that because I don't think it's a credit to him that we really haven't seen that much of that.
Yeah. Did you guys see this one? Did you hear this one? Myles Garrett really asked, demanded a trade from the first-place Browns to the last-place Rams.
It's good.
It's good, right?
That's very good.
I think that joke was made 10,000 times today.
When is Garrett getting back? I know he's He's really into Halloween, so he's probably got plans for the next week and a half.
For sure. For sure. Dude, the playoffs. Well, I can't believe we're looking at the playoff picture, but I guess it's like, I mean, we're, we are a third of the way through the season, which is kind of crazy to say because it happened like that.
Yeah.
But right now, if the playoffs started today in the AFC, it'd be the Chiefs 1 seed, Bills, Jaguars, Browns, Patriots 5 seed. Oh wow. Hank versus Cleveland.
Love it.
Broncos 6, Steelers 7. And then in the NFC, it'd be the Niners 1, Vikings 2, Panthers 3, Giants 4, Packers 5, Bears 6, Lions 7. So that would be the entire NFC North. That's the entire NFC North in there right now.
That's awesome.
I love that.
Yeah. Yeah. The Seahawks wouldn't be in. I don't think that's how it's going to end up. But the point remains that it has been kind of assumed that it's going to be the entire NFC or 3 teams in the NFC West, and then someone else is gonna have to figure out how to sneak in that wild card who doesn't win a division. Now it feels like it's going to be the opposite, where it's like maybe 3 teams from the NFC, uh, North, and someone's gonna have to sneak in from, from another division.
And the Rams have the Raiders Next week, Raiders, right?
Yes, Raiders.
Is that in Vegas or is that at home?
Desperate team.
I think it's in Vegas.
Well, that's probably good for them.
Yeah, I was going to say that, like, there'll probably be— there might be more Rams fans that make the trip to Vegas. Yeah. Than there would be because, like, Los Angeles is still very much a Raiders town.
At Raiders, first Chargers, at Commanders, at Cardinals. Don't have their bye week, it looks like, for a while. When is their bye week? Am I really bad at math? I might be bad at math in terms of trying to figure out their—
Week 11.
Oh yeah, their bye week gets screwed too because they have to do the bye week and then they get— they have to play Wednesday, uh, before Thanksgiving, which I guess they— it's kind of like you get 2 bye because then you get Full Thanksgiving after.
But man, I think it's good. This game.
Yeah, it probably is.
Yeah, probably means that we're one week even further away from seeing Carson Beck.
Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah, I'd say so. OK, why don't you do the last couple of ads and then we'll finish off with the last 2 games, then Sunday Night Football.

Okay, we've got the Chiefs 22, Chargers 6. Hank, are you ready to be done with the Chargers?
I am ready to be done with the Chargers. I am mentally done with the Chargers, but I'm a loyal guy and I can't, I can't give it up.
You bet on the Chargers again today.
I bet on the Chargers again today. Moneyline.
They were never close to— well, no, they were close.
Their offense is horrible. Mike McDaniel should Shouldn't— should have already been fired.
Well, he's the fall guy. It's clear that he's going to be there. They're going on a bye this week. I feel like they're going to make those adjustments. Shane was saying that he changed Justin Herbert's footwork. That's part of the reason why Justin Herbert has had a bad year. I think he also— Justin Herbert, I think he is the first quarterback in 5 years to have an interception in every single game to start a season through week 6. That's not good consistency. That's consistency. I actually came away from this game and the Chiefs are really good. People don't need to hear us talk about how good the Chiefs are. Kenneth Walker's awesome. Patrick Mahomes looks totally fine. This was like a completely noncompetitive game in the fact that outside of Justin Herbert throwing an unbelievable— he basically had to place the ball from 57 yards away into Quentin Johnston's hands. And then they still couldn't get a touchdown on starting at the 1-yard line.
Losing Vlad McConkey in like the first 5 minutes was bad.
Yeah. So I, I walked away from this game though. I, this was the first game that I officially, and this is not excusing Justin Herbert, big stupid pick guy. It's the first time I felt bad for Justin Herbert because he, he might be the sorest man in the world. That one, that one hit that he took in the end zone where his knee just went in half and then he just was still in the game. I don't know how he's still—
he also got like hip drops, like a real— an actual, an actual hip drop. Yeah, like a dirty hip drop.
Right. He just gets annihilated every single game and they suck. They're so bad. And I think Harbaugh might be the most depressed man in the world.
He's upset. They asked him about the, the play calling. They said, I have to ask you point blank, is Mike going to continue calling plays? He said, we're going to look at everything. I feel bad for our players, our team, our coaches, our fans. The offense needs to be addressed. That sounds like Mike McDaniel fired. That sounds like as close as it gets to a coach telling you that they're going to make a, make a big change. They do need to make a change too. They're— the turnovers just, just destroy them because sometimes the Chargers move the football a little bit despite— in spite of themselves.
Yeah.
Occasionally they can put together decent drives. They're actually— I think if you look at the stats, they're about average on 3rd down. in the NFL, like they're in the middle of the pack. And then these drives, when they do have extended drives, they always end in heartbreak. And so you've just taken all this time off the clock and accomplished absolutely nothing. Whereas some of the other bad offenses in the NFL, they at least, they typically have the good sense to just kind of like give up on a drive early.
Right.
Forget about all that wasted time. But the Chargers turnovers, they're just, They're so bad. Unreal, unreal bad. And I don't know, they've always been hurt. Feels like the last 5 years they've been, they've been hurt the entire time. But I don't remember Herbert playing this poorly ever.
No, I mean, he's— his offensive line is garbage and his weapons are near zero and he's bad. Like everything. It's a perfect storm to explain how bad they have been. They have in the 4th quarters this year, we're in week 6. They've scored 13 points in 6 4th quarters. They have 7 turnovers in 6 4th quarters.
Mm-hmm.
11 sacks in 6 4th quarters. It's just like, they're just so bad. It was, again, I can't stress enough. I don't know if you guys felt the same way. I never in a million years thought the Chargers, after this game started and the Chiefs went down the field and Kenneth Walker scored a touchdown, I was like, that's it, that's the game. Like, the Chargers cannot do anything.
Hank kept— Hank kept saying they were in it.
No, they were never—
they were never in it.
The whole time you were, you were fighting.
The offense—
I respect that.
And the Chiefs are like definitely one of those teams that they, they play to their competition and that once they know they have you beat, they kind of— they're not gonna like They try to just absolutely kill you. They'll just take the air out of the ball. The Chiefs could have done whatever they wanted today.
Chargers couldn't score.
They couldn't score.
They, like you said, they had the ball on the 1-yard line and couldn't, couldn't score and weren't even really close to scoring.
We're banning Chargers from our arcade parlay. I think we have to just all, all, all in all cannot put any Chargers.
And they have a bye next week so I can— I don't have to worry about them for Hungry Dog.
Cleanse ourselves from them.
Be nice. We'd actually be really nice.
Yeah.
I feel like coming off the bye, they get the Rams. I feel that looks like a hungry, hungry dog.
Oh yeah. Yeah, they're in.
Oh no, they're already in. They're going to win that game.
Do you guys think that this is a, like, a permanent problem? Is Justin Herbert permanently damaged right now, or is it like he can get back with the right environment, right coaching?
I don't know.
I don't know either. If you ask me this, because if you ask—
yeah, I don't know.
If you asked me 2 weeks ago, I would have said, yeah, he can get back. But I don't know.
I don't think—
I don't know.
Now I don't know.
What do you think the price tag would be for Justin Herbert right now?
That's what I'm wondering.
Like, 4th round pick?
No, no, no. You're so fucking mean.
NFL, I feel like they don't— you don't— there's no value in players. Yeah.
A year ago, quarterback, you would have said 1st round.
What would JJ More than a first round. Definitely a first round pick.
I think it's—
well, it's J.J. McCarthy.
I mean, J.J. McCarthy was never good in the NFL, but the contract too. Justin Hurts, the contract is probably going to be cheap eventually. You know, like, what did they pay him? Everyone, every, every quarterback contract goes up.
I'm with Hank. It lowers value.
Like, that's because you want him. What would the Colts have to give up?
Oh, wait, you want him?
Yeah. I don't know.
Oh, that'd be—
I don't want— I don't want to put it out there.
That would be funny.
Why would that be funny?
Just be funny.
Why? Why?
It's funny how New York gets hope and then how funny how they get a quarterback that they think is good and he's terrible. Justin Herbert is a loser.
He actually—
that's fair.
Unfortunately, anyone who disagrees with that, he He's now number 1 in most losses since 2020 as a starting quarterback.
Big stupid loser guy.
And that also is a testament to the fact that he just plays every game even though he gets like killed. But yeah, what's his contract?
I don't think I'd use the word loser when referring to Justin Herbert.
He's going to be so mad at you for this.
Herbert's doing pretty good.
Me?
No, no, he's not a loser in life. He's a loser in football.
Yeah, he's—
as a quarterback, he loses.
Yeah.
When it matters most, he has not won even once.
He has never won a game that matters.
Yeah. Loser. If you don't win games that matter, then you're a loser.
He's a loser at football.
He's not a loser in life. He's a loser at football.
Yeah.
By like— and that's factual that he loses a lot.
He loses a lot. Is that the status? He's lost the most football games of anyone since 2020.
Yeah.
That's crazy. But again, it's because he's been on some decent teams.
Yeah, but it's just he started every game, you know what I mean?
Yeah. So the quarterbacks are pretty good on that list.
Yeah.
Baker Mayfield is tied with him. So Trevor Lawrence is third. Daniel Jones, Jacoby Brissett.
Shout out Jacoby.
Shout out Jacoby.
Like, if you're the Colts, what would, what would it take for the Colts to get Justin Herbert? I don't know.
They don't have their first round pick.
That's true. Yeah. Oh, who does?
The Jets.
Memes.
I bet you—
I don't want to give up. I don't want to give up the first round.
I feel like Justin Herbert would still go like 9 of them. Would it go for 2 first? Would he go for 2 first? Why not?
I think 1.
I think 1 now.
Yeah, I think he'd still go for 2. I wish we had like a Maybe a first and a fourth.
Because it's not— I— but the thing is, I'm not sure it would be a good deal even to—
No, no, I'm not.
Because he's— he was— he was really good. He's been a very good player. Yes, he's had struggles in the playoffs, but it's never looked like this before.
I think Hank has a point.
AI says 3 first round.
Okay. No way. Maybe Maybe 2. I don't know. Maybe 1st and 3rd.
4th round. I think 2 is the answer.
You think a 4th rounder, Hank?
Yeah. And like a 2nd.
And we'll throw in a 2nd. It's going to be a 4th round pick and we'll toss in a 2nd. And Geno.
Hank's in a mode right now, for people who are listening, of taking like a cross-country flight. He's got his shoes off. He's kind of stretching out. He's got sweatpants on tight.
My body's tight.
Too much golf this weekend?
Possibly.
How many holes?
Just 36.
Oh, wait, on Saturday alone?
No, just Friday morning.
Friday, Saturday.
Oh, Friday, Saturday. Wait, so Friday's part of the weekend?
Ooh.
Well, when you work Sunday, we have a hybrid weekend.
We do have a hybrid weekend where we have a mix of a week.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Every weekend's a hybrid weekend for you, Hank.
What time tomorrow?
Hitting that 3. We'll be here. And then like 3 o'clock.
Was any of the golf of the weekend— was this for Jerry?
Call in.
Call out.
You got it.
No, tomorrow is— tomorrow, tomorrow's Jersey Jerry.
OK. Wow.
OK.
So it's a rivalry.
And then Tuesday.
Yeah. Work.
You called me out.
Correct.
I'm calling you in.
Correct.
On Tuesday.
Correct.
And then is that the end of the callouts?
We'll see. We'll see how those, those matches go.
Wait, so if you—
what time are you guys playing?
If you lose the callouts, then it's over, right?
3:30.
We have an interview at 2.
Correct.
Yeah.
3:30.
Love it. Little, little Dusk golf. It's gonna be beautiful out.
Yeah, it's just 9 holes.
Yeah. Uh, okay, last game, Bills. So, uh, consensus— I would need that on a quote card— Justin Herbert would command a second— no, fourth rounder.
And I'm throwing a second.
Yeah, Hank, but the fourth rounder has to lead the Schefter tweet.
I think it would be 2 firsts.
Like, it's 2 firsts. What are we talking about? It's 2 firsts.
I guess it's a Depends on which, which team.
It's 2 firsts.
I think it's 2 firsts.
But he's a loser.
I know, but it's still 2 firsts. We'll ask a real GM.
I feel like a real GM may even say 3.
Yeah.
But what about the fact that he could retire?
What did Micah Parsons go for? I know he also better, but like, that's a different position. That's a quarterback.
He also has a no trade. And Madison Beer probably likes living in L.A.
OK. Yeah, good point.
Oh, what about to the Rams?
Yeah, that could work for Ty Simpson, straight up.
No, Chargers would have to throw in something and send Puna back for Ty Simpson. They'd have to throw— Chargers have to throw in a first.
Have things gotten bad enough in Los Angeles where Justin Herbert would even think about waiving his no-trade clause? Yeah, that's the question. Yeah. And maybe go to a place with no state income tax.
Yeah.
Tennessee.
That'd be interesting. And the Chiefs are just really, really good. The Chiefs, I mean, they're great. Kenneth Walker just changes their whole team. That, that they're going to be— I feel like Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl.
They're, they're very, very—
It just feels that— it feels like— do you guys ever— you guys hear— listen to Mumford& Sons at all, especially in the fall?
Yeah.
They have that song Kansas City. Every time it comes on on my Spotify, like, shuffle, I just think that, like, of the AFC Championship Game, they're going to play that as the bumper music going to, like, a really cold Kansas City and being like, the Chiefs are back. That— can you see it? You know what song I'm talking about, Meebs?
Oh, yeah. Yeah, it'll be the intro.
It'll be the intro. And it's like, here come the Chiefs. The dynasty's back. The Chiefs are back. It's going to be, you know, 10 degrees. And Patrick Mahomes is going to be all bundled up and it's going to be like, here they come.
Narrated by Jason Sudeikis.
Yep. Yep. I can just go— let's call, let's call our shot right now. That's what they're going to use.
Maybe Paul Rudd.
It's a good song. I do like the song.
Kenneth Walker is having such a good start to the season. He's the 3rd running back all time with 650 rush yards, 6+ yards per rush, and 6+ rush touchdowns in the first 5 games of the season. 3rd running back all time. The other 2 It's Kenneth Walker, it's O.J. Simpson, and it's Jim Brown.
Damn.
All-Star football players, even, even better human beings.
Kenneth, by far the best human. Yes. Okay, last game, Bills 33, Raiders 30. Josh Allen, that, that, that touchdown to, to Keon Coleman was the most Josh Allen you could get.
Pressing all the buttons.
Well, it was just, it was It was such a perfect, uh, everyone is so scared of Josh Allen making plays with his feet that the entire Raiders team were like, red alert, we have to stop him, he's leaving the pocket. And he's like, ah, fuck it, and just flicked it to Keon Coleman. The improvisation is awesome to watch. The Bills offense is humming right now. I think they scored on— I think they only had 2 drives that didn't end in a touchdown. in this game or points in this game. James Cook looks good. He's got the new technique where he's holding his wrist. And then did you see Jim Nantz almost broke his wrist trying to punch it out of JJ Watt's hand?
He might have. He might have had the old boxer's fracture. He hit it and then he was wearing like a cast on it later on.
He was? Yeah, actually.
Yeah, he had it. It was either some sort of bandage or like support. It was a splint. You could tell by the way he hit it. He looked at it and he was like, oh, I haven't felt that.
He—
the look that came over his face was— that was the look of a man that—
I made a mistake.
That might not be able to play golf for the next month.
Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, the Joe Brady offense. Joe Brady is also the first coach to begin his coaching career with a 5-1 record since Kevin O'Connell and Brian Daboll in 2022. They scored on 7 of 9 of their drives. Their defense is still bad, although I shout out Jim Leonard. Putting Christian Benford on Brock Bowers was genius and it actually worked. Brock Bowers was kind of a non-factor in this game when Christian Benford was on him. And yeah, the Raiders like probably are kicking themselves because if they could have just like Josh Allen took care of the football, Kirk Cousins had one costly interception in the second half. They also couldn't do, they couldn't convert in the red zone to touchdowns. And that was the difference in the game.
The crazy thing is when Brock Bowers is covered, they have Michael Mayer who looks exactly like Brock Bowers. Until you see that the 7's not a 9, actually.
Yeah. Yeah.
Great game. Great game plan by the Bills. The defense does concern me, though. I know that they like— yeah, some elements of it have shown signs of improvement. I think, I think that might be a fatal flaw for the Bills unless— are they getting anybody back?
Same.
That's the same as every year.
Well, because in the past they've been really injured on defense and then maybe they'll get 1 or 2 guys back later on in the year. This just kind of seems to be what they are.
Yeah. No, I think this is what they are. I don't think there's much that's going to change. They're going to just try to— Josh Allen's going to try to fight his way through it.
There was an incident on the field. CeeDee Deuce got ejected from the game for spitting.
Oh, no way.
Yeah.
No one could have seen that coming.
Didn't see it coming. And then other people were chiming in. Ushak said that CeeDee Deuce spit on him last year in the, the Bears-49ers game.
Yep, makes sense.
Apparently this is a thing that, that he does. You—
yeah, this is the least surprising. I mean, Juszczyk said that, but it— when, when I was watching the game, they're like, yeah, he, he might have spit on him. It's like, yeah, no duh. CeeDee Deuce, this is a CeeDee Deuce experience. It's also like CeeDee Deuce being on your team in 2026, because he was on my team last year. If he's playing meaningful snaps, you've got a You know what I mean? Like, the Bears defense had a problem last year. We were not— it was not a good unit. When he's on your— when he's playing for your team at this point in his career, you got a problem. Do you disagree, Max?
I think he's okay.
He won a Super Bowl 2 years ago.
Yeah, I think—
no, I know, but the last 2 years, like, he's been passed around.
I think—
I think—
yeah, I think it's more so the off-field stuff.
Yeah. And like, he's a live wire. It's actually a testament to how good at football he actually is. The fact that he's still in the league, what is this, like 10 years?
He was on a really good defense that year.
But he was really important to that defense.
I know, but he was also on a really good defense. A lot of really good guys around him.
Most guys who are knuckleheads like this, they don't last too long in the NFL. And he's been on a lot of different— he keeps getting jobs because he's good.
Yeah.
Despite the fact that he's a big weirdo. He's—
yeah, I don't know. Yeah, the Bills defense is a problem. Also, if you're a Raiders fan and you're worried, don't worry, because Caleb Rodgers said what's going to help us out this season is how much we love each other.
Hell yeah. Oh yeah, that's awesome.
Wasn't that guy— was it, was it Clinton Farrell or whatever who got cut?
Cleland Farrell?
Yeah, Cleland Farrell. Who was the guy who got cut who might have kissed someone?
Oh, in the shower.
Who was that?
that?
Wilkins. Yeah.
Yeah.
They love each other on this team. Do you think he's like, fuck, just missed a team that loved each other?
I think maybe he loved too much.
Yeah. This is, this is a good first test for Clint Kubiak. 3-game losing streak. Who do they have next week?
Oh, Rams.
Rams.
Talk about that.
Is it Mendoza time?
I don't know. I will say, I know you can't do this because it will be a pretty big tell when he comes out on the field. But the Raiders not being able to QB sneak is an issue as well. They, they got another penalty today. I think they brought out— did they bring out Hayward to try to QB sneak? And it was— they got a penalty on it. Kirk Cousins can't QB sneak. I, they— I feel like if you bring out Mendoza in a 4th and 1, you know he's going to QB sneak, but you got to figure out something. You got to figure out something because they can't do it. And I think this is the third time.
Ever have like Brock Bowers do it?
I think they've tried. They've tried everything, I think, and it hasn't worked. They're not good at QB sneaks. It's kind of important because I feel like they, they do have a coach that is aggressive enough to go for it on fourth down.
Okay.
So overall.
Oh yeah. You want to know the Bills do have one good thing they do defensively.
They do.
The run defense is good. Ashton Gentry didn't really get going at all.
Yeah, he had a, he had a nice touchdown run, right? That was kind of powerful. Not a great day for Gentry. The quote from CeeDee Deuce after the game was, I've got to be a better vet. I've got to control my emotions. I don't think, I don't think it's an emotional thing. I think you just need to learn not to spit when you are emotional.
Yeah.
Like there's no emotion that makes people spit.
Yeah.
It's not like sad. Tired, hungry, spit, spit. Just, just don't spit. Yeah, they probably have a mouthpiece that you can wear that is like spitproof.
Why are you— why are you looking at Max during this?
I'm just saying those are, those are good words. Just making sure he's taking them all in.
Good words. What were your favorite?
Oh, because Max spits.
I'm Italian.
Well, that's disrespectful to Italians, Max.
You're disrespectful to Italians.
No, I'm saying I know lots of Italian people that don't spit.
All right.
What?
All right.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. Hank was just saying that they were good words. I don't know why you were telling me. Max doesn't spit on purpose, though.
I didn't say anything. I just like you guys say good stuff on the show. And sometimes I just take a scan of the room and just make sure the boys are locked in. Zach always is. Max sometimes isn't.
Let's talk about who's locked in and who's not locked in.
I'm not saying the words were specific.
Hank's never locked in.
No, you're not locked in.
You're normally watching the, the Bay Classic.
Classic. Shoes off, shoes off.
God forbid a guy watches sports for the sports podcast. My bad. It's fake.
It's a fake tournament.
You just go on your fucking phone and It's just reels.
So do you have food? So do you. Not food.
Reels of sports and golf instructions.
Golf instructions. Yeah, those work.
It's, it's, it's teaching. It's learning education.
Yeah.
You know what I'm getting right now?
Sourdough bread.
And my—
that's fun. Yeah, that's, that's fun.
I'm big time on my Instagram algorithm. It's just dudes who have 20-minute workouts with kettlebells that transform your body.
Yeah.
They're like, all you got to do is this every day.
One kettlebell, 20 minutes. That's more than one fucking kettlebell you're doing in your fucking basement.
They're like, I just— I've seen every guy with their shirt off in America being like, just do this and you'll be ripped like me.
Did you get kettlebells?
Day 1, day 70. I have them.
Have you— have you done any of the workouts?
I tried it once. It's way harder than they make it seem because they do like They do like 4 workouts. They're like, all right, 8 reps of this, then 8 reps of this, then 8 reps of this, then 8 reps of this, as many as you could do for 45 minutes. And I'm just like, I did it once and I was like, I'm tired. I'm done.
They're just bringing that thing around town effortlessly. Makes no sense.
Too much, Zach.
They're lying.
I like the life hack guys that are like, all you have to do, you have to take a— you don't even have to take a full cold shower, just 15 seconds of cold water on your face. In the shower, that'll make you live for another 20 years. Yeah, that's all you have to do. Life hack.
I've been cold plunging. It's 55 degrees, so it's not that cold, but I've been cold plunging.
How long?
55. I could stand for like 4 minutes. I tried to go down to 50 because I was like, I think I've beat 55. I went down to 50. I was out of it in like 45 seconds. Like, that's too— I got to go down incrementally, one by one. Oh, all right, uh, Cowboys-Packers. Dak sucks. Do you guys agree?
Yeah.
The Packers look good again, by the way. I don't— I, I'm very nervous. Jordan Love looks pretty locked in. They do, but Micah Parsons is going to come back week 9, I believe.
They gotta catch the ball.
Yeah, no, they let—
they left so much out there.
They do have fast receivers that don't always catch the ball.
They do everything, and even sometimes they catch it But then they don't stay catching the ball.
But, but Jordan Love looks— he looks locked in and it's, it's scary. This is why I said I never buried them when they lost to the Falcons and they looked like absolute dog shit. I was like, this team, they— I'm smarter than this. Matt LaFleur's not a bad coach and, and Jordan Love's not a bad quarterback and they do have enough guys. I know they don't have a great offensive line, but it feels like they've done something differently with the offensive line to And it's actually a lot of it is credit to Jordan Love. I think he's getting the ball out quickly. Oh, wow. I mean, you— Max won that so quickly.
You were immediately started scrolling your phone.
I see.
Right after you guys said it.
I was looking up stats.
Oh, yeah.
What's that?
Packers.
What's that? What's that?
Jordan Love passing.
Yeah.
Hold on.
Let me pull it back up.
What'd it tell you? Sorry.
Just unlocked the phone.
Max won that round.
Should be right there.
You guys just had a—
no, you're not locked in.
You're not locked in.
It was like 45 seconds later that you went back to your phone. I was looking at stats. But yeah, I think he's getting the ball. Like, I think that's, that's been the biggest change is he just gets the ball out so fast now.
Yeah, it— he does look better. He's not afraid to run a little bit.
Yeah.
The mobility is still not—
12 yards.
I said a little bit, but it's mostly the mobility moving around. Hank, did you watch the game?
I did.
Do you see Jordan Love moving around in the pocket?
For sure.
12 yards.
12 yards.
12 yards.
They got to catch the fucking ball though.
Oh, I mean, he won easily.
Costly drops though.
It didn't cost him tonight.
But they should— against a team like the Cowboys, that offense, they should put up— they should put up a ton of points.
I got a question. The Cowboys offense, we keep being told it's so explosive, so good. We've watched them for 8 quarters now look bad against not like— well, I guess the Bucs actually have a pretty good defense. But I don't think anyone's saying that the Micah Parsons-less Packers are like the greatest defense. Are we sure that the Cowboys offense is like as electric as everyone's making out to be?
No, because sometimes Dak sucks.
Yeah.
And they don't—
I guess they've got dudes.
The Texans game was a big one and the Ravens one. They have a few games there, but the last 2 games they've not looked good. And it feels like every single Cowboys play is the exact play. Dak loads up like he's going deep and then just throws it like 4 yards to Javonte Williams or Jake Ferguson. I watched that 100 times tonight.
Or he has a hilarious interception. Yeah, there are so many good— yeah, really good interception night from Dak tonight.
And I say all this and the Cowboys— I mean, if you had to go gun to your head right now, who wins the NFC East?
Birds.
I think I'd have to say the Cowboys.
They all suck.
Next week's big game.
I think I'd have to say Cowboys.
I think—
and I don't, I don't want to say it, but I think I'd have to say it.
I think, I think Max might be right. I think it— Actually, if Jalen Hurts—
next week is a big week.
If Jalen Hurts—
anything.
What's the minimum number of games that he's going to miss?
I think week 11 is when he can come back.
Bumble clock.
Okay.
But Bazooka Joe.
But Bazooka Joe.
We have Tanner McKee. And then if the Tanner McKee doesn't work, we still have the Bazooka Joe button.
If it was gun to my head, I think it might. I think it might still be the Birds.
Definitely.
Birds are like +700.
Yeah.
What do you think? Whose Line Is It Anyway for Cowboys-Eagles next week?
Where is it?
It's in Philly. I'll be there. Thanks.
Birds -6.
No, shut up. You're so loopy right now. Cowboys.
Minus—
it's a home game.
Cowboys delayed. Cowboys 2.5.
I would say Cowboys minus 3.
I was going to say Cowboys minus 3.5.
Let's take a look.
Let's take a look.
What? Why is it only giving me—
the Cowboys were favorites tonight and they lost.
Oh, there we go.
What do we got?
Cowboys.
4.5.
Wow. Gotta take the Birds. Gotta take the Birds.
Going to Philadelphia?
You don't go on Philadelphia at 4.5.
Come on.
I don't try— I don't know what's like— I, I keep— the Cowboys offense is the most explosive offense, and I then watch games like tonight, I'm like, where was it? What happened?
Dak, man. Dak can be at his peak, top 5 guy. But when he's not, the entire thing looks broken.
Yeah.
All right. Roback question. R-H-O-B-A-C-K.
Also, really bad vibes. We talked about it a little bit on Thursday. Very, very bad situation when the owner is going on the radio. Yeah. Dictating where a coordinator is going to be during the game. And then his coach publicly disagrees with him.
Correct.
That's a bad spot that you're in with Jerry Jones.
Correct.
And I mean, Jerry's gotten weird later on in his life where he almost— he likes it the more dysfunctional they are because people talk about him. Mm-hmm. So you're right, he doesn't fire people as frequently or as easily as he used to. But in a situation like this, that seems like something that, that could get out of hand quickly and lead to a firing.
Yeah.
I mean, he doesn't fire anyone.
Yeah.
You think about the Cowboys, like they probably, I mean, they held on to Jason Garrett for way too long. Mike McCarthy probably for a little too long. Then looked down the hallway and said, hey, Brian Schottenheimer, we want you to coach.
In one fell swoop on the radio, he kind of demoted a coordinator to the booth without talking to the coach about it. And he also took the side of a fan that yelled at his quarterback after a game over his fan.
So that doesn't seem like things are good, which I actually think that, that, that was the correct move, taking the side of the fan.
100%.
You have— I mean, that's the— his fans are who make him rich.
That guy pays Jerry's salary.
Correct.
That guy's actually Jerry's boss.
All right. Roback question. RHOback.com, promo code TAKE, 20% off your first purchase. Q-zips, polos, hoodies, joggers, shorts. Roback.com, promo code TAKE. PFT, what do you— where is your head at for Monday Night Football?
I'm thinking this is a great opportunity. Great opportunity. This— the way that the last game ended feels like it's the type of loss that would destroy a season. There's no coming back from it. So what better opponent to have than maybe the best team in the NFL? Because if you win that game, taste washed out of your mouth. New season starts now. Dogshit division. Anything's possible. And we're right back in the thick of it.
Mm-hmm.
Now, if we get blown out and get our ass kicked like it has happened from time to time in big Monday night games like this and nationally televised games such as this one, then it looks like it's blow-it-up time. And I would say that we'd probably be looking in Declan Doyle's direction sooner rather than later.
Whoa.
That's, that's kind of— that's how much this game probably means to the future of Dan Quinn in D.C. I don't think that Dan Quinn's lost the locker room. I think that But they, from what I know, the team loves them. They respect them. They'll play hard for them. I'd be shocked if they went out there and there was any sort of lack of effort because I think they really do care about each other. But if that does happen and if it kind of spirals out of control, I could see this is a, this is a bye week and we saw Magic Johnson get mad online, which Magic Johnson never does.
Mm-hmm.
So I could see, uh, unless Josh Harris is just 100% focused on trying to make sure that Pablo Torre doesn't find out about the Fanatics gambling that Michael Rubin was doing on the Sixers, he might be thinking about that. But if he is locked in on the Commanders, I think we could see a potential bye week move if it's a real stinker of a game. But I do think that it's a great opportunity. So we win this game and the season is completely turned around, and I'm, I'm very happy that Or at least kind of— I'm relieved that the new brace that Jayden's wearing seems like it might prevent further dislocations. So Jayden might have a relatively healthy season from this point on. OK, so that's where I'm at. Good opportunity. And also Brandon Aiyuk, I wonder if he's going to be there.
Yeah, probably being like, which team needs me?
I think he— I think he would just be up in like the Commanders booth. I think he thinks he's on the team still.
Okay. Why did you guys look at each other, Max and Hank, during that?
Well, Hank looked at me and I looked at him.
Oh, the Fanatics thing.
I don't know, man. I'm a DraftKings guy.
I can't look down. I can't look up. What am I like? I look at my phone. Why are you doing that? If I look at Max, why?
No, I'm not. You're not in trouble. I was just wondering if there was something to be said.
No, I know where he's closing his eyes now.
He's closing his eyes. He's a toddler.
Just go to sleep.
Yeah.
All right.
It's the only way that I can exist is by sleeping.
Started that whole thing.

Had a—
had the original Twisted Tea. So good. Watching some football. All right. Hank with his eyes closed.
Oh my, who's back in the week is NBA.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This week, Tuesday, Celtics are playing their first game of the year Tuesday afternoon, which is kind of bizarre, but I'm all for it.
Why is that bizarre?
Because an opening— an opening day game.
That was great toss.
That was great toss.
Perfect toss.
Opening day game at 3 o'clock is odd.
Yeah.
But nonetheless, exciting. Caleb Wilson's exciting in Chicago. I think he's going to be really good.
I don't think the Bulls are going to be great as a team, but I think he's going to be really good.
Sixers will be fun to watch implode. Knicks and everything. Everything. There's a lot of, there's a lot of, you know, exciting storylines in the NBA this year.
When do you think the Sixers will start to implode? If this is the— if they're the Titan II submersible that's going to visit the Titanic.
I think it's gonna— I think it's gonna go bad quickly and then they're gonna, by the time playoffs roll around, like figure something out. But I think Jaylen Brown, LeBron, and Embiid are 3 just massive personalities. And then we're not even talking about Maxey. You're not talking about anyone else.
Yeah.
It's going to be a lot.
I didn't know that, that anecdote about Jaylen Brown and that he, he would— he bought a gold harp and that he would hire a harpist to come over and play for him as his chef made him dinner. That's got to be so relaxing.
Yeah. Hank and I were saying that's one of the best rich guy things.
That's a classic rich guy move.
That's an awesome rich guy move.
Awesome, Hank.
I agree. I would love to get to a point in my life where I buy a gold harp and then just hang out while I hear harp music and food gets made for me.
Do you think they're doing like classical harp songs or do you think they're doing like, like modern R&B songs?
I like that. Probably that. Probably both. Those are fun, though.
Yeah.
OK, good.
Who's back? Your eyes are still closed.
Good night.
All right. PFT.
My Who's Back of the Week. I got a couple first. I actually forgot to mention this with the Monday night preview thing. One reason why I do have a little bit of confidence in the Commanders going to Monday night and Dan Quinn. Did you guys see the big news about the change that Dan Quinn made?
I did not.
On, I think it was Thursday or Friday during practice.
He's actually sleeping.
He is sleeping.
Yeah.
He turned his hat around and it's forward for the first time all season.
I did see that actually. This didn't— I apologize. apologize. Yes.
This feels like, like the last move.
Yes.
He's tried literally everything else.
It was shocking.
It's like, this is no bad ideas. We got to do something different. Hats forward until we win a game.
Yeah.
So maybe that gives me a little bit of confidence. My other Who's Back of the Week is O.J. O.J. might be back. Did you guys read the article that was in— I think it was in the New York Times that came out this weekend about O.J. Simpson and Maybe the person, the accomplice that was with O.J., Larry David, the night of.
Yeah.
Well, no, there was Larry David. You want to tell that story real quick?
That was the morning of.
Larry David, just like, I think he did an interview or something where he said he was with O.J. the day of the murder.
He saw him at the—
at their country club.
Yeah.
Which then they— people put it together like there's an episode of Seinfeld where like the exact same thing happens.
Yeah. Where, like, Larry David's like, oh, your ex-wife's going to let you golf? And he's like, wait, I should be able to golf whenever I want. Yeah.
So there was this other article that was about the actual murder itself. And there was this dude that was in the mob that apparently was tied in and told people at the time that he helped O.J. either right afterwards or was like a direct accomplice. And this guy was written up by like the FBI and shit saying he's a legit high-value witness that we've used and his information's always been correct. Like, he was like an all-star snitch that used to be in the mob.
Wow.
And apparently him and O.J. hung out for years after the trial, too.
Wait, how did they— how did he help cover it up? Because they didn't cover it up at all.
Well, destroy evidence. They never found—
Yeah, they missed a lot of evidence.
The big one was the knife.
Yeah.
And so apparently this guy allegedly helped him take care of the knife and some other stuff that was left behind, and also had a private jet waiting for him and AC when they did that low-speed chase in the Bronco. So they were going— they were looking for the private airport, then the cops showed up, chased them around. They couldn't go to the private airport, but they had a jet that was gassed up on the runway, ready to take O.J. out of the country, which would have been— that would have been crazy.
That would have been nuts.
Um, so yeah, apparently this guy is, uh, I don't know, read about it yourself because it sounds like O.J. definitely did that shit. But also there was a theory that the prosecution just didn't pursue at all, even though it was laid out in front of them.
Yeah.
OK, my Who's Back of the Week is the Tampa Bay Rays because they have taken control of the ALCS. Friday night was a rainout. Saturday they won. The bats showed up on Saturday and then Sunday. Drew Rasmussen has been Quietly just an absolute like monster these playoffs. Not so quietly, but maybe quietly because it's the Rays. But he's pitched 21 innings, 1.29 ERA. Now we go to Game 6 in Tampa Monday night.
I—
so Stephen Voigt, I think, said that Gavin Williams is not an option for Game 6. I don't understand that. I get it. He's probably— he's on short rest. When did he last pitch, Max? He last pitched on Thursday. So that would be— yeah. Okay. So Friday, Saturday, Sunday. So that's 3 days. I get it. But you got to win Game 6 if you want to get to Game 7.
What's his— what's his deal on short rest in the past?
I think his— I think his velocity was down in Game 2. It must have been— no, 3 at the end. I totally understand if he— if you think that's not the best option, but it's like, if you're trying to be— if you're trying to outthink it and be like, well, we need him for Game 7, it's like, you gotta win Game 6. I don't know what the Cleveland— I'm not like, you know, super tuned into what they have in, in the bullpen and what they're— it's all hands on deck, which you would think you can't hold anyone back on all hands on deck.
He also only threw 70 pitches on Thursday. Like, yeah, that's not even It's not even like a full workload.
This should be a game where it's like whatever we can do and then we'll just, we'll figure it out.
Right. You got to get to game 7 and you got to find a way.
It might— we might not be able to figure it out, but we can try.
Yeah.
He might be hurt.
He could be hurt.
Might be hurt.
Yeah, absolutely. It's a possibility because I do think his velocity was down at the end of game 3 and he only pitched 70 pitches, which could, could maybe mean that he's hurt. hurt, which that would suck. What do you guys think? Rays?
I mean, Fastball Freddie. Guards.
It's a bullpen game. It's Freddie versus bullpen game.
Yeah.
Also, I'm not— listen, I'm not saying that there's maybe a, a curse going on or some bad juju, but have you guys seen this, this, uh, Brewers Timeless Ticket thing? Yeah, they're so So the Brewers 10 years ago sold a ticket. There was only, I think, 100 of them to their fan base where anyone could buy it. It was $1,000 and you could redeem it at any game in the future. I think it was like you got to redeem it for 9 games or something, including an opening day game and potentially a World Series game. And apparently there's fans trying to redeem it and the Brewers are like, yeah, sorry, we don't have it. We have standing room only. Like, you, Brewers, you got to give these people their tickets. Yeah, these are your— these are your most diehard fans. These are the fans that bought the ticket when they were dogshit.
So when they bought this golden ticket, it was— it's really 9 tickets. Is that what you're saying?
I think so. It's not like— it's not like one ticket for every game. It's like I was reading it. It was like you get to go to either an opening day game Or like a holiday game and then maybe a World Series game. It wasn't like unlimited tickets forever.
It's one. Yeah. OK, so it's one ticket to any future Brewers home game. No expiration date. Here's a problem. If they try to— if they try to—
Including the World Series.
Yeah. If they try to deny people on this, apparently it's not actually made out of gold.
It's personalized brass.
It's brass. You can't call it a golden ticket if it's brass, though, right?
I don't think it was. I might have misspoke. It's the timeless ticket.
Okay.
But you've got to, if you care about karma, juju, whatever, you've got to redeem these tickets. You have to let these people go to this game. You cannot say standing room only.
What did it—
what did this guy say? It's not the best way he got.
This guy said he was trying to redeem it. Not exactly the experience he was expecting. Then he said, the Brewers have offered me a solution. OK, taking their offer. So I secure White Sox or World Series tickets for myself.
All right. So it sounds like they, they wisened up because that was going to be like the all-time, you like, bad karma going into the World Series. And the Brewers have like all the good vibes going. You can't just be like, oh yeah, these 1,000 fans who bought it when, like 10 years ago, you can't come to this. All right. So they're going to get in there.
Imagine what the tailgate scene is going to be like for a World Series.
Yeah, because, oh, look at this. It said it was going to be insane. It said on the Timeless Ticket, Timeless Ticket owners can redeem their Timeless Ticket to any future Brewers home game at American Family Field, whether it's this season, the year 2050, or the 7th game of the World Series. All are valid games to redeem a Timeless Ticket. All right. So they said it right there.
So it looks like the approximate get-in price is like in the $1,700, $1,800 range, something like that.
Yeah.
So this— it's not really that Not even that great of a deal. But if you bought that ticket, it 100% needs to be honored.
Yeah. And it was for this moment.
Yeah.
It's a cool desk piece too. Yeah, it is.
And it's like, it's cool if you bought it 10 years ago and like someday the Brewers would be in the World Series and I'll use this for that, for that. That, that is a cool thing.
How much would they have to charge to have a timeless ticket where it's just like whatever game, no limit for the rest of your life? You can always get in baseball. Yeah, baseball.
To every baseball game. Like, yeah.
Like if the Cubs did it and they said you can buy— you can spend X amount of dollars right now and, and just drop of a hat, you want to go to a Wrigley game today? OK. Yeah. Stop in. I got my golden ticket. Playoffs. Got the golden ticket. World Series.
I'd pay a lot.
Probably.
That's just the gold card for the players, right? Yeah.
I'd pay a lot, like, to sell something like that.
Yeah.
I mean, I dream of like, would— when, when like all this is over, to just go to 81 games. Be so sick. I went to 60 in 2015. That was sick in the bleachers.
That was a fun, fun season.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah. I went to like 60 in 2014 and '15. But yeah, I'd pay a lot for that.
Yeah.
For the one The one ticket. Okay. Zach, finish us off.
My Who's Back of the Week this week is going to be Tesla and SpaceX because they're bringing Hot Wheels cars to the real road.
Okay.
I don't know if you guys saw.
Yeah, I heard it. I heard, I heard there was no engine in that, in that car.
Wait, did we talk about this on Friday? I don't— I might talk about it with ourselves.
You know, I think we may have talked in phase 1, but not in phase 3.
Okay. Phase 1 is when we all sit outside of the PMT studio and say, hey, we should really start potting and we don't move.
It's our pre-production.
Yeah, that's our pre-production meeting is out there where we just fuck around and bust each other's balls. Then phase 2 is when one of us says, hey, we're going to come into the studio. And then we sit in the studio and do the exact same thing as phase 1 while we procrastinate even further. And then phase 3 is I go, are we ready? And then Memes goes, no, you got to give me a second. Because I— you got to turn on all the machines and then that, and then we start.
Well, and then there's phase 2.5 where PFT says, hold on, can I go?
Can I go? No, it's P. It's P. I poop way earlier. But yeah, phase 2.11 is when you guys are like, I'm going to go pee. And then phase 2.12 is after you guys get back and I'm like, you know what? I got to pee too.
Yeah.
All right. So phase 1 was when we talked about this.
I believe so. If we don't want to break phase 1, I can pivot.
No, no, let's go.
Oh yeah, so I'm sure you guys may have seen the video. We got suction cups, so basically we're, we're driving up walls. We got like 10 cold air thrusters, so we're hitting kickflips. Okay, I think we're going 0 to 60 in like 0.8 seconds, which just feels like a lethal weapon for the, for the public to have. I don't know how I feel about this. It's cool to see on a track. I don't know if it's gonna be cool to see on a highway.
Well, I also heard that the, that Like, video was— they made the car just so it could do that for the video, but it's not like cars aren't gonna be able to be made with those features.
So it's like the commercial food.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Shane just kept on saying this would be sick for a bank robber, which makes me think Shane wants to rob a bank.
I mean, are you telling me you haven't thought about it?
Robbing a bank?
I don't think—
I think I'd be too much real pussy. But I feel like everyone on the floor— I can't shoot someone.
I think they usually do like no, like no guns, just slide the note.
Yeah.
Hey, I think it's easier to rob a bank than you think.
Wait, wait, I want to hear memes on this.
Bank by my house growing up got robbed like once a month.
Really?
I think they just—
I'm with you, memes. I don't think that they tell people all the ones that get away. I think a lot of people get away with robbing banks.
Yeah. As a worker behind the desk, it's like they don't want you to get shot or something.
Yeah.
You just have to give them the money.
Yeah. Oh, yes. This would be a great getaway car, probably. I don't know. All the stuff that I've seen it do, I don't really see like a real-world application for just about any of it. I mean, it's fast, which is cool.
Do you think it's because he wants to go to Mars? I feel like this looks like a Mars car.
Do you think this car could drive on Mars?
Well, I feel like that he could fly this car to Mars. The floating stuff, that feels like— it feels like Mars to me.
More like Mars-inspired. Maybe the aesthetic.
You know how Elon Musk is obsessed with Mars?
Yeah.
That it kind of gives the floating kind of feels like a space car. Yeah, I think thrusters and stuff like that's how like, I think astronauts walk around In movies, kind of.
I think a lot of Elon's car designs come from a place of like, what would a— what would a 5-year-old look at and be like, this is fun, right? I mean, the stunt kicks ass. I just don't see what people are going to be like commuting, like driving to their office.
No, robbing banks.
Robbing banks. So that's— that's the new— that's the new meta.
If they were, would you guys hit the button? Do you think you'd have it in you to kickflip?
Listen, I could see the appeal of this. My, my 3-year-old always says whenever we're in traffic, he's like, can you just fly over them? So he's kind of got that. Like, I think that— I think it's like Elon Musk. It's, it's that chart. You know how it's like everyone's in the middle and then the, like, really dumb person, really smart person.
Yeah.
It's like 3-year-olds on one side, Elon Musk on the other. Can't we just fly over the traffic? Yeah, that's, that's, that's kind of what he's going for.
Didn't he also try to dig a hole to his girlfriend's house?
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
So he is just—
it's pretty much where it is.
He's just a little kid.
I actually, I think the reason why Musk is obsessed with Mars, I think he wants to start a civilization there because in his mind, then he'll be like the founder of that civilization. So like 4,000 years from now, people think that Elon Musk was their god on Mars.
Again, I've said this a million times, Elon Musk is a fucking loser for not owning an NFL franchise. So much cooler than building a car that no one's going to buy and can't even work. And like Hank said, is not even a real car. Just fucking buy an NFL franchise, win some Super Bowls. That's— that will give you so much more fulfillment.
Think of— think of all the different ways that he could— he could cheat and circumvent the salary cap, right?
Elon Musk.
It would make Michael Rubin look like child's play.
Why?
What did Michael Rubin do?
He circumvented the cap for the Sixers.
And did he do anything else?
He talked about it. I think it was a Sloan conference and just said like, we cheated all the time, broke every rule that we could.
Did he take any bets on Fanatics?
We're taking bets all the time on the teams that I owned is what he said.
All right.
Good show, boys. College football Wednesday. Crazy fucking college football Saturday. Unbelievable.
Was that the craziest Saturday of college football ever.
Yeah, it was insane. And can't wait.
Can't—
I mean, we're— it was just a great weekend of football. Great weekend of football.
All right.
You ready for numbers?
42.
10. I mean, are you just done with 3?
Whatever you want to do. 3.
Oh, we go 85.
Go 29.
Oh, 18.
Big dumper.
Big dumpy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Zach just looks around until he finds it.
Zach's going to win. 4. Was it— it was 4.
69.
Jeremiah Smith.
4 for Jeremiah Smith. For Shane.
Shane, 15.
Put on your headphones real quick, Shane.
Shane, headphones.
Hank, did you pick a number?
Yeah.
What'd you pick?
10.
Shane, how— what would Justin Herbert demand in a trade? Hank offered— Hank said that it would be a 4th rounder and toss in a 2nd.
I think at least 2 1sts. Yeah, that's what he is, a $75 million dead cap.
Yeah, this year.
So that's what I'm saying.
So maybe a 5th.
You want him, Memes?
Oh yeah.
I don't know. Could do the floor with Garrett Wilson.
Yeah. Omar Cooper, Sadiq.
Yep.
Oregon. Yep.
Oregon.
You know, it would be an interesting spot for him. I wouldn't like it, but Vikings.
Yeah, I saw a lot of that when I was doing this research.
97.
Oh, 97.
Anyone?
Nah, no one, no one did that one. 3. This is a long one.
Come on now.
Come on now, machine.
Oh, what you got?
25.
25.
Anyone?
No one.
No one. No one picked that one. All right, let's do the birthdays.
Okay, do the birthdays.
Whose birthday did you forget?
I forgot a couple birthdays last week, I'll be honest. I think I forgot Eddie's.
Yeah.
Sorry, Eddie.
I think you've accomplished your resolution.
Yeah, I think so.
You could just give up.
Are you going to do it next year, too?
Probably not. Maybe.
That sounds right.
Maybe.
Maybe.
Happy birthday.
Maybe what?
He's going to do it again next year.
Happy birthday to Evander Holyfield. Happy birthday to Jon Favreau. Happy birthday, Trey Parker. By the way, this affects Hank none. Zero effect on Hank's life.
Just seen his face.
Zero effect on Hank.
Looks over here. I think it's nice. Yeah, you forgot my birthday, but that was, that was fine.
Happy birthday on Tuesday to Henry Lockwood.
It's a different Henry Lockwood.
He played cricket in England in the 1880s.
Hell yeah.
Happy birthday to Kenny Walker. Happy birthday to Jamie Collins. Happy birthday, Keith Hernandez, Paige Buchers, Beckers, whatever you want to say. Happy birthday, Tom Petty. Happy birthday, Viggo Mortensen. Happy birthday to Snoop Dogg.
Snoop D-O-double-G. Snoop.
Love you guys.
