American forces strike Iranian air defenses. The UK bans two popular leftist commentators, and Zohran Mamdani skips out on New York's annual pro-Israel parade. Daily Wire Foreign Affairs reporter Cassie Akiva has more.

President Trump said today that he had a, quote, "very productive call" with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and claimed he convinced Israel to hold off on planned strikes in Beirut amid rising tensions with Hezbollah. Quote, "There will be no troops going to Beirut," Trump wrote, adding that Hezbollah has also agreed that all shooting will stop. The threat of Israeli strikes in Beirut led to Iranian state-linked media reporting that Tehran is suspending talks with the United States. The IRGC also threatened to attack northern Israel if it went through with the strikes. Shortly after speaking to Trump, Netanyahu released a statement warning that Israel remains prepared to strike terror targets in the Lebanese capital if Hezbollah continues attacking Israeli civilians. Netanyahu said, quote, "Tonight I spoke with President Trump and told him that if Hezbollah does not cease attacking our cities and citizens, Israel will attack terror targets in Beirut." And he added that Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon will continue as planned.

The US said it struck air defense radar and drone sites after Tehran shot down an American MQ-1 drone. Daily Wire contributor Tim Pearce has the details.

US Central Command said it also shot down two Iranian drones that were headed toward the Hormuz Strait. On the other hand, Iran launched missiles at targets in Kuwait. According to the Wall Street Journal, negotiations to end the war continue to trip over commitments on Iran's nuclear program and financial relief for the battered country. But as progress is slow, the U.S. military has reportedly guided dozens of ships through the Strait of Hormuz to keep up maritime trade. One official told The New York Times that the U.S. has brought about 70 cargo ships through the strait in the past 3 weeks.

A federal judge has ordered the government to strip President Trump's name from the Kennedy Center. U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper wrote on Friday that the center's board of trustees erred when they unilaterally added Trump's name to the building. He wrote, quote, Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name and only Congress can change it. Cooper also ordered the work to stop on the president's planned renovation of the center. In response, the center said it would appeal the ruling as well as review the order on the work being done. The center said in a statement that, quote, the reality remains the center requires an urgent and significant restoration. Far-left activists Hassan Piker and Cenk Uygur have both been banned from entering the UK. Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewell has the latest.

Young Turks co-creator Cenk Uygur and his nephew, Marxist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, have been barred from entering the United Kingdom. This edict was issued by British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood over concerns that their presence would not be, quote, conducive to the public good. Both Piker and Uygur have blamed this travel ban on their anti-Israel stances. Uygur stated that this travel ban is, quote, oppression of Western citizens by our own governments on behalf of a different country.

Democratic lawmakers are griping about the, quote, economic violence of not being paid to stay home from working when menstruating. Daily Wire reporter Jacob Wheeler has more.

Democrats are pushing for the Reproductive Health Care Leave Act, which would provide up to 12 days of paid leave per year for reproductive health needs, including severe menstrual pain, abortions, menopause symptoms, miscarriages, biopsies, vasectomies, and more. This bill, endorsed by Planned Parenthood, is part of the HER, or the Health Equity Rights Agenda. Democrat Adelita Grijalva said, quote, "Forcing a worker to choose between paying her rent or losing a day's pay to recover from a grueling gynecological procedure is not a choice, it's economic violence." Skeptics have voiced their concern that this bill could result in employers discriminating against women.

New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani refused to attend a pro-Israel parade, opting to go cycling instead. Daily Wire homepage managing editor Jordan Schroeder has the story.

The annual parade called Israel Day on Fifth has Jewish people and pro-Israel groups march down Manhattan's Fifth Avenue. Mamdani allegedly skipped the event over his support for Palestine. Meanwhile, other political leaders such as Governor Kathy Hochul, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, the city's police commissioner Jessica Tish, and former mayors Eric Adams and Michael Bloomberg did attend. Mamdani is the first mayor to boycott this parade since it was first held in 1965. The mayor was also said to have been biking around New York City in a suit and dress shoes and without a helmet during the time of the demonstration.

Strange posts began populating the former president's White House Instagram account yesterday. Stories written in Arabic appeared. The profile picture changed to a cloaked man wielding a sword, and the bio changed to what translates to, quote, "There is no White House here. Rather, this is the Shiite house." Another AI-generated image was accompanied by the line, quote, "The White House is under Shiite control." A representative from Meta, parent company behind Instagram, Facebook, and other tech and social platforms, said the hack was quickly secured. With the posts and account changes being scrubbed. There's no confirmation yet on who's behind the hack.

After shutting down USAID, the Trump administration has secured new aid agreements with more than two dozen African countries. Daily Wire reporter Drew Berkmeier has the story.

In exchange for health aid from the US, those countries have given the US access to their domestic mineral deposits and health data. But a few countries— Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Zambia— have refused similar agreements and called the Trump administration's demands, quote, unacceptable. New Yorkers with 16 or more speeding violations will now have to install devices in their cars to limit their driving speeds. Daily Wire lifestyle reporter Lauren Baer explains.

Repeat speeding offenders in New York will soon be forced to install speed control devices in their cars. Governor Hochul recently spoke on the epidemic of reckless drivers, especially in school zones. Traffic control cameras have already been installed in school zones, automatically issuing tickets to offenders, but the effect has been minimal. The state has identified over 10,000 serial offenders who have racked up dozens of tickets and continue to speed. Now, a new law will force offenders with 16 or more tickets to have a speed control device installed in their car. The device uses GPS technology to track the vehicle and will not allow the car to exceed the posted speed limit. Drivers who are found to have tampered with the device or who fail to present their vehicle for installation will face heavy fines and suspension of their registration.

A Chinese dissident is being held in South Korea after 30 hours at sea in an inflatable raft. Daily Wire assistant editor Andy Valdez has more.

Chinese-born Dong Guangping has a long history of struggles with his government. The 68-year-old has been arrested and jailed multiple times for resisting government censorship and was barred from leaving the country on charges of, quote, "subverting state power." Last week, South Korean authorities were left in a pickle when Guangping arrived on their shores in an inflatable raft. He had spent more than 30 hours alone at sea in his most recent escape attempt from China. Guangping was arrested in Korea for breaking immigration law But activist groups are now encouraging South Korea to grant him amnesty. No decision has yet been made.

And OpenAI has created a tool to help with biodefense and pandemic preparedness. Experts say that AI could have a massive impact on research into biology and diseases, including bioweapons.
