Surprise, surprise. Donald Trump caved yet again on Thursday morning as the price of oil surged 5% this morning, as Treasury yields continued to surge to new record highs as well. Donald Trump posted the following message: We are having productive discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran. I want to make it clear to everybody that while Iran is in very bad condition, both economically and militarily, and while the blockade will remain in full force and effect, with oil flowing in record numbers of barrels through the Hormuz Strait— 22 million barrels last night alone— with not one barrel coming from or going to Iran. We will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the midterm elections to be held in the United States on November 3rd. Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. Now, if you look at Donald Trump's statement right there, it's already filled with lie after lie. 22 million barrels of oil did not go through the Strait of Hormuz last night. What did happen last night in the Gulf of Oman by the coast of Fujairah, about 30 nautical miles east, Iran was able to strike a stationary tanker there earlier in the day yesterday.

00:01:23

Iran struck a tanker off the coast of Qatar, another stationary tanker. In the past 8 days, there have been about 15 tankers that have been struck by the IRGC. It costs about $1.5 million a day for these very large crude containers to be utilized to take the crude out of the Strait of Hormuz. And the captains are charging about $100,000 per day with a $50,000 bonus. The price of gas continues to rise. The price of diesel continued to rise. It's more market manipulation from Donald Trump right there. Now, the governor of the Central Bank of Iran this morning trolled Treasury Secretary Bessent. And in an interview, he said, tell Mr. Bessent we only have 3 days left. Actually, he only has 3 days left. Tell Bessent he only has 3 days left. Iran's nuclear chief says Tehran will not give up its rights to uranium enrichment or hand over its uranium stockpile. And this morning, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, The negotiations is still ongoing and messages are being exchanged through mediators. We presented our own proposal, which we called the 7-Day Plan, and also heard the American side's views on it. We are currently reviewing the Americans' views, and I think we will provide our response within the next few days.

00:02:57

Other major developments this morning, the main airport in Riyadh, the King Khalid Airport, was struck by the Houthis, and this follows multiple other strikes this week by the Houthis on Sirallah in Saudi Arabia, in Abha, and also in King Khalid that actually resulted in the death of numerous people in Saudi Arabia. But we're actually getting images right now of the Houthi strike that hit a stationary aircraft at the Riyadh airport in Saudi Arabia. You can see right there, we're getting Sentinel-2 satellite imagery confirming damage on fuel tanks at the massive integrated oil refinery and petrochemical complex complex located in Saudi Arabia. But sure, Donald, more oil's getting out from the Middle East than ever before. That's why you are doing emergency drawdowns of the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve and Europe's diesel and crude petroleum, uh, Strategic Petroleum Reserve as well. Now, Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi also posted the following message after the U.S. Congressional Research Service updated its prior report showing that far more military aircraft were lost based on their assessment than what they reported just a little while back. This is what Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi posted. In May, the Congressional Research Service admitted that Iran's armed forces had taken out 42 US military aircraft.

00:04:29

Now they're saying it's 81. The real toll is far higher.

00:04:34

Proof?

00:04:34

CENTCOM won't let a sitting senator inspect bases it claims are fine. You can fool all of the people some of the time... That's right. The US military has lost or sustained damages to 81 aircraft during this catastrophic war with Iran, with losses valued at between $1.9 billion to $3.3 billion, according to the Congressional Research Service report that was just released. It updated its May report. More than half were MQ-9 Reaper drones, while the F-35 fighter jet, an E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft, and 8 lightly damaged F-15 fighters were also included. When they say lightly damaged, it reminds me like right now what they're saying in Saudi Arabia. They're saying the King Khalid Airport was not struck by the Houthis. Like, I'm showing you the video of what it looks like. They said it was just drone debris that fell on elementary schools and medical centers here. That's what actually went down. You know, lots of people in Saudi Arabia, U.S. citizens, are saying they're not even getting alerts right now regarding the Ansar Allah Houthi strikes within Saudi Arabia. By the way, the reference by Foreign Minister Araghchi to the U.S. senator who was denied access to U.S. bases, that Senator Chris Murray— Murphy, who was, uh, in the Middle East for a trip, and he requested access to Al Udeid bases in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere, and Pentagon refused to give him access to Meanwhile, more clips are being released this morning of Donald Trump after he left that disastrous and bizarre event he held in San Antonio, Texas.

00:06:13

In this interview, he continued to repeat that line where he's like, let them hit Los Angeles, let them hit a place like San Diego, you know? And then you have all these corporate media people saying what he's actually meaning to say is he wants to protect the cities. That's what he's saying. Anyway, this is what he said. This just got released this morning. Let's play it.

00:06:32

And the thing is, I had to do Iran because they would have had a nuclear weapon. Then you would have found out what problem. I say it all the time. Let's see what would happen if they ever did something like to Los Angeles or San Diego. Those seem to be the, the most prominent because of location. And I'm talking about through missiles. That would be terrible if a thing like that happened. And you want to see problems? Let them hit Los Angeles or let them hit a place like San Diego. Let them hit one of our major cities. That's called a problem.

00:07:03

And then Donald Trump's like, people love data centers. We need to have them everywhere. Trump's like, you know, you just gotta tell the data centers, just tell the people in the community you're going to help them more. Oh, the way you do where you defraud people and you say, oh, I'm gonna give you this and I'm gonna give you that. And then you just lie. You steal people's loaves of bread, then you dangle a breadcrumb in front of them, and then you never even give them the breadcrumb. Yeah, sounds like communism authoritarianism to me. Here's what Donald Trump said here. Play this clip right here. Communicated the benefits well enough?

00:07:35

No, I don't think so. And I think what happens is the company should pay communities a lot of money, whether it's educational money or money directly to people that live there through like a dividend or something. And the data centers would be very popular. People don't mind the data center. Well, the problem with data centers, they're so good and they're bringing our, our country so far advanced. Let the communities benefit. And I, and I, what I told the companies the other day, they have plenty of money, make contributions toward the community and the communities will love them.

00:08:05

Meanwhile, you have US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He's in Portugal begging them to buy US F-35s. That's where we've come as a nation where he's gotta like do a pitch, please buy our F-35s and not Sweden's Gripens or not other European fighter jets. As we've been reporting on the Midas Touch Network, a lot of countries do not view the United States military equipment as reliable. If you buy an F-35, for example, you have to rely on US maintenance. So there's a lot of people who are worried that the Trump regime puts kill switches into the airplanes or that they won't provide the maintenance, or they'll use the military equipment as leverage in future trade attacks or other attacks. Um, but when Rubio was there, he was leaving Greece to go to Portugal. Rubio was asked about all these allegations about the ambassador to Greece. Kimberly Guilfoyle, Don Jr.'s ex-girlfriend. And watch how Rubio responds right here. Play this clip. Is there anything new on the reporting from The Wall Street Journal that Ambassador Guilfoyle had sought—

00:09:10

Yeah, guys, let me tell you something, okay? You guys are going to ask me this. You're going to ask me again in Portugal. I know the game, okay? The game is someone gives information to a newspaper or a media outlet. The media outlet reports it. You immediately turn to me and say, I need you to respond to our reporting. That's not the way this This works. Like our job is not to respond every time someone decides to give the media something without any advance warning, without any having any chance to look at it and see what's in there. That's not the way. That's not the way you run an organization, and that's not a serious way to conduct the policy of our country. So I'm not going to comment on a story that literally posted a few hours ago. I get the game. Okay, I've been in this for a long time. Within hours, some member of Congress will write you a letter demanding you answer questions to something we've never seen before. I don't even know if it's true or not true. So it's just not going to work that way. And it most certainly is not going to work that way when I'm sitting in another country.

00:09:58

All right.

00:09:58

Mr. Secretary, what did you say last night?

00:09:59

Mr. Secretary.

00:10:00

At the very least, it's an IG investigation.

00:10:02

Guys, I'm not playing this game with you, okay? You guys write a story and then your editors tell you, make sure you get a comment from him on something we haven't seen.

00:10:10

Okay?

00:10:10

You guys are not going to be our only source of information in the world. I'm sorry to tell you that. And so I want you to understand. No. That's not the way the process is going to work.

00:10:19

Meanwhile, Eric Dieters, who had those communications with Kimberly Guilfoyle, and where the text messages between Dieters and Guilfoyle that was turned over to the Wall Street Journal.

00:12:17

He was—

00:12:18

he participated in the interview with the Wall Street Journal. Here's what he had to say this morning moments ago.

00:12:25

Kimberly Guilfoyle is a grifter. Kimberly Guilfoyle, I have no doubt, has done this to more than me. She's doing it right now in Greece. I know Corey Lewandowski did this stuff. I know Kristi Noem—

00:12:38

More from Dieters over here. Play this clip.

00:12:40

is how they, along with their father, are getting rich out in the open with crypto and everything else. President Trump said he hated crypto. His son's getting crypto now. He loves crypto. In my opinion, Hunter Biden and Joe Biden were shadow grifters. The Trumps are in the open. I mean, I mean, they're all— it's the same thing being done in a different way. Jared Kushner, $3 billion fund. from Saudi Arabia after he negotiates the Abraham Accords. I'm a Midwest farm boy. I'm a good dude. I don't, I don't like their yuck-yuck world. You couldn't pay me to go back to Mar-a-Lago.

00:13:18

Then you had J.D. Vance giving a deranged speech earlier this morning in Washington, D.C. He was asked about Kimberly Guilfoyle. Watch what he had to say. Play this clip. Thank you, Mr. Vice President. Do you have any reaction to a U.S.

00:13:35

government official, in this case a U.S.

00:13:37

ambassador, asking someone to pay off debt in exchange for access to other government officials?

00:13:45

Well, so with, with that hypothetical, Jen, obviously I don't love that, but I, I, you know, I don't know exactly who you're talking about. I don't know the full details. What I find with these stories is that You never want to comment in a purely abstract way because a lot of times the details really matter, and the details and the context inform the reality of the situation. So of course, I don't like anybody selling access to another government official, certainly a high-level government official. But you know, I assume you're talking about a specific case, and I can't say with confidence that the case you're talking about is actually reflective of of the way you're describing it. No insult to you, by the way, but context really matters on this. stuff. So I'd like to get the full story before offering a real opinion. Uh, a good lesson for a politician is never speak about something you don't have the full facts on. And I just don't have the full facts on that one.

00:14:36

And then he was asked this question by reporters, how do you define socialism? And he says, the way I guess I defined it in America, it's like, uh, that they want men to play in women's sports. Dude, what are you talking about? Play this clip.

00:14:50

How do you define socialism? personally, and why do you think socialist candidates are popping up everywhere across the country?

00:14:55

Oh man, I, you know, I guess it's honestly, it's a hard term to define these days because very often socialism, you know, classically you would think socialism is about prioritizing workers, and yet in reality, I guarantee that most of the self-described socialists running across the United States of America are are going to howl about this announcement today, which is prioritizing American workers over foreign workers. So I don't know what the term means anymore. I think in reality what it actually means in the American context is that you want to replace American workers with foreign workers and you want boys to play in girls' sports. That's what unites the socialists that I see running across the United States of America today.

00:15:39

No wonder the American people are turning against this Trump regime and turning against them very quickly. I mean, the MAGA people, independents especially. Take a look right here, for example. Let's zoom in on Ohio. Let's play this clip. 2%.

00:15:54

Look at Donald Trump's approval rating in the Buckeye State. He is down to 36% job approval in Ohio, a state he won 3 times, John. Uh, disapproval at 64%. That is a -28%age point underwater situation for there. And just as you noted what the 2024 presidential result was there, he beat Kamala Harris in Ohio by 11%age points just 2 years ago, John. So you are looking at a state that we have over our careers covering American politics has gone from a true toss-up battleground state to a pretty red state. And we see it swinging back this cycle a bit.

00:16:34

Well, then you have MAGA Mike Johnson openly discussing his plans if Republicans lose the House in November. However, as panicked MAGA Republicans privately plot his replacement, one Republican told Fox News Johnson is done. And this is what he told state regime media Fox this morning. Heaven forbid if we lose this majority or whatever. I don't know what the next chapter of my life is. If God moves on our hearts and says we should, you know, go back to my hometown of Shreveport and start a lawn business, I'll do that with equal fervor. I mean, I just wanna be of my highest and best use to God and to my country till the very end, using religion to deceive and manipulate and now to play the victim. Talking about playing the victim, the Midas Touch Network exclusively reported this morning how all these MAGA Republican candidates, I kid you not, are begging donors to help fund their fuel costs because the fuel costs are so expensive. As gas prices soar amid Donald Trump's war in Iran, Republican Senate candidates are asking their own supporters, please donate money. Like, look at this from MAGA Republican Senator Dan Sullivan in Alaska.

00:17:52

He says, to continue ushering in America's golden age, here's what I need. Your donation will instantly go to fund things Pay for gas as we visit isolated rural areas of Alaska. Yeah, people can't afford their own gas because of people like you, Dan Sullivan, and you're begging for money to pay for your gas. Are you kidding me? Then you had Susan Collins, who did atrocious in that main debate. Did you see that? Hat tip, Troy Jackson. He did a good debate, Troy Jackson. Organizing a tour of this scale Takes a lot of coordination, enthusiasm, and quite literally fuel. So she's saying, can you donate money for fuel? Meanwhile, you take a look at this latest exclusive from the New York Times, the depths of depravity of the Trump regime. So Donald Trump put in Mark Levin's stepson to hold a major diplomatic position in Israel and be a top aide to Ambassador Mike Pompeo. Mike Huckabee, and, uh, the guy's name is David Milstein. He's also the guy who we reported who was having a wedding and he was asking to take in like donations for his wedding. Remember that? Well, a top aide, David Milstein, in Israel to Huckabee has been systematically suppressing and rewriting embassy reports and cables to portray Israel favorably.

00:19:15

He killed an urgent cable warning that Israel's record settlement approvals potentially violated Trump's own red line against West Bank annexation. He rewrote reports on deadly chaos at the Gaza aid distribution sites to declare the operation a success while omitting mass casualties, blocked detailed reports on investigations into 9 Palestinian Americans killed by settlers, soldiers, stonewalling congressional inquiries. And you can go on and on and on over there. Um, and then while all of this is taking place, Donald Trump bought up $25 million in Meta and millions in SpaceX debt in August as Trump manipulates the markets. And this morning, as we saw the markets tank, as we saw Treasury yields surge, as we saw gas rise 5%, as we saw Iran striking more tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, As very little tankers were getting out, not 22. He's making up 22 million barrels. No, it's probably about 8 to 10 million barrels are getting out. And then the cost of getting those barrels out, as I said, from the very large crude container ships are like $1.5 million a day. Trump bought up $25 million in Meta and millions in SpaceX debt in August. That's what he's focused on.

00:20:37

As much as $5 million in SpaceX, 2 days before he signed a sweeping policy aimed at expanding U.S. commercial space transportation. And by the way, think about the message he sends to Iran right now. Iran, you've got 30 days, do whatever you want. We are not going to strike before the midterms, so free rein over there. And by the way, the U.S. only has one aircraft carrier in the region. The USS George Washington, the George H.W. Bush, is in Phuket, Thailand right now. One of the reasons Iran's escalating is that they wanted to call Trump's bluff. They wanted to push him in a corner. They wanted to see how he responded. And he responded as you just saw. There you have it. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million subscribers. Thanks, everybody. We appreciate you.
