All hell is breaking loose as Ukraine's President Zelensky just launched a massive drone swarm against Russia. 500 drones striking various targets in Russia. Russia was able to strike down a lot of those drones, but we are seeing impacts in the Black Sea area of Sochi, more impacts there in Samara, about 900 kilometers away. Looks like 2 oil facilities and a training ground were struck by these Ukrainian drones. Also, if we look at some of these Seshcha airfields in the Bryansk region, it does look like Ukraine drones were able to successfully strike Russian targets there. But Putin's just been launching a massive amount of ballistics and Geran-4 and Geran-5s at Kyiv, at Zaporizhzhia, and other areas. There have been a lot of casualties in Ukraine. I want to break down everything that's taking place now. Without interceptors, without interceptor licenses, and with a more difficult ability to strike down these new Russian Geran-4 and Geran-5 drones— and I say those Geran-5s are more like hybrid cruise missiles— one of the only ways that Ukraine can strike down some of these new Russian drones is using the MiG-29, actually taking a fighter jet and trying to strike down a Geran-4 before it hits a targeted And it is a very dangerous thing to do because let's say you're able to strike the Geran-4 drone before it hits the target, the debris hits the MiG-29.
And this is how we see a lot of these, uh, Ukrainian aircraft getting damaged, and it could lead to a lot of crashes. I'll show you this spectacular footage right here, and you'll also see, as, uh, Kirsan Cat also notes, why these Cannon interceptions are so dangerous as the MiG-29 goes through this ball of fire, basically. Watch what takes place. Play this clip. Here are just some stills of what you just observed right there. This is a cockpit view of the Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 with the pilot flipping off the Russian attack drone. And I'll show you what it looked like from the cockpit view of the Ukrainian Air Force MiG Fulcrum shooting down the Russian jet-powered attack drone. Let me show you what took place. Let's play it. Now, Russia's Defense Ministry yesterday said that it engaged in a massive land, sea, and air strike against Ukrainian defense industry sites, places linked to the Firepoint flamingo cruise missiles and drones, port and ship repair facilities in the Odessa region. Yesterday was Putin's 74th birthday. And one of the things that Putin wanted to do was rain down death and hell and destruction on his birthday.
And that's one of the things that we saw very tragically. If you look in the Chernihiv region in Prylikiy, a ballistic missile destroyed sections of a 5-story residential building. The regional governor there said the casualty count in this Prylikiy region itself 20 to 25 dead, including a number of children were killed. 5 children, 3 1-year-olds, an 8-year-old, and at least 55 or more were injured in Prylikiy. In Kyiv, 2 people were killed in the Darnsky district where there was a fire at a garage cooperative there. In the Kremenchuk-Poltava region, 2 people were killed. In the Oleksandriya, 2 killed. Dnipro, strikes damaged an apartment building in Zaporizhzhia, at least one person killed. Let me show you the moment a missile struck a residential building in Pryiutne in the Cherniv region, killing over 20 individuals in Ukraine. Very tragic. Here, play this clip. Yeah, give you some images of the aftermath of that strike as Ukraine suffered a devastating loss. Let's play it. And here's what Prylicky looked— look at the children's art center before and after the Russian missiles. Um, this is what Kyiv looked like in the morning as Kyiv was under attack, as I've been reporting.
Lots of people in the city are now sleeping and essentially living underground in the metro there, in underground parking garages. Now, on Putin's 74th birthday, these Geran-4 drones were decorated with Putin's image on them. So these were the Geran-4 drones that were crashing into Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia and these areas. You see Putin's face was painted on it. Zelensky addressing the people of Ukraine, letting him know over 25 people were killed in these massive strikes. Also, Ukraine lost power and Kyiv has pretty much been without power for a lot of the day. They're doing controlled emergency blackouts right now. We're also learning, and we've been reporting, that Putin is apparently spending $200 billion in their war budget, which was up massively from what was previously going to be the budget. $200 billion. And, you know, I think what is notable and significant about that is where they are directing their money. And we have to have a very sober assessment assessment of what is happening technologically in this war. And so obviously Ukraine has been incredibly innovative with its Flamingo drones. So when we talk about FP-1, FP-2, FP-5s, some of the newer FP-9s, even FP-7s— I mean, we're talking about these Flamingo Firepoint, or the drones, FPs.
They're part of this Flamingo series. The Flamingo often refers to its cruise missile, and Ukraine's been able to develop its own kind of Flamingo FP-style ballistic missile. And then it's FP-1, FP-2 long-range drones that are hitting deep, like the strikes in Samara, 900 kilometers. I mean, we've seen Ukrainian drones even hit as far as areas near Siberia, 2,000 kilometers. I mean, really far, uh, strikes. Um, so Ukraine's been incredibly innovative. At the same time, Russia's been upgrading its capabilities, and it's developed these Geran-4, Geran-5 drones. You start with the Shahed base. Those are the Iranian drones. You know the style, the way those look, like the one where I showed you Putin's face on it. But these Shaheds moved relatively slow. These Gerans are jet-powered. They go much faster. They're very hard to strike. So Ukraine's interception rate went from 90% with the Shaheds to about 50% with the Geran-4s. The Geran-5s are like a cruise missile hybrid. The interception rate is very low on that. And Ukraine's interception rate on the Russian ballistics is 0%. I mean, without Patriot interceptors or THAAD interceptors, I mean, I guess occasionally a man— I don't know, I was going to say a MANPAD, but those can't shoot the ballistics.
Really, Russia can use its ballistics with, uh, with just free rein at this point, as Donald Trump tapped Zelensky along, said he would get interceptor licenses, and Trump never delivered on those interceptor licenses.
A lot of people use nicotine as a pre-workout thinking that it'll actually make their pump and their workouts better. The reality is it's the complete opposite. You know, Russia is producing these Geran-4 and Geran-5s in such massive quantities. And I want to share this with you because it's very important. This came from a former Soviet naval officer and analyst, Andrei Martyanov, and he spoke on Daniel Davis Deep Dives podcast. And what he explained is that Russia is building 36,000 Geran-4 and Geran-5 drones a year. Now, the Pentagon plan with respect to interceptors, PAC-3 and such, is about 2,000 a year. So by 2033, the US will have about 10,000 new Patriot interceptors, PAC interceptors. Meanwhile, do the math, Okay. That isn't even what— it's about less than 1/3 of the Russian production of Geran-4 and Geran-5s in a year. By that period of time, Russia will have hundreds and thousands of Geran-4s and Geran-5s. So the US, when we talk about the $1.5 trillion military budget, the US is spending this money on a lot of waste. Massive Trump battleships, because Trump likes the aesthetic— billion-dollar nuclear battleships, billion-dollar nuclear submarines, massive equipment, aircraft carriers, things that can be easily destroyed with one or two Geran-4 and Geran-5. Meanwhile, Russia is building this— these— with these modern warfare weapons en masse. And I'm saying that to alert us to what the hell is happening.
Ukraine realizes that Ukraine's production of modern weapons is, in my view, actually more significant than what we're even building here in the United States. But Russia's building this in such a massive scale. NATO has to realize that, and the US needs to realize that and get with the program and start figuring this out, because this is a very alarming development if we're paying attention. By the way, Iran's been able to develop lots of modern weapons as well. You know, when Donald Trump's like, Iran's navy is all in the bottom of the sea, It's all— who cares? Iran has— Iran has the Shaheds. They've asked Russia for the Geran-4, Geran-5 upgrades, whether those upgrades are directly given to Iran or the technology is given back because the Shahed base was given to Russia to begin with. Iran's President Pesezki will be meeting with Putin at the upcoming CIS meeting that will be taking place in the next few days where they're going to be discussing their further cooperation. But Iran has developed all this cutting-edge ballistics, these cutting-edge drones, and they have all of that, and they have it in underground cities, right? So whereas the United States has these bases that are all exposed, right, they're right out there, you can see them, Iran can strike them.
Iran's bases are under mountains. The US bases are right there for— you see Al Udeid, you see Muwaffiq Salty, you see— you name the base in the region. They're right there. They're way exposed and they're not protected from these drones. That's why Iran's been able to strike with impunity. So I just want to let us know the military tactics of this. Anyway, I think I didn't show the clip yet. Here's what Andrei Maritanov said. If I haven't played it yet, you can hear for yourself what he has to say. This is the former Soviet naval officer. Let's play this clip.
United States is supposed to produce the MIM-104 interceptor missiles for Patriot PAC-3 in 5 years, about 10,000 of them. So it's, uh, 2,000 per year, per calendar year. This is the extent of American, uh, production. Uh, so just to demonstrate to you, just uranium-4 and 5, just uranium-4 and 5, Russia produces, uh, actually 36,000 a year. And this is just 4 and 5. We do not count the newest, uh, uh, uh, well, they're not drones anymore. There's essentially, uh, new, uh, hybrids. They are essentially cruise missiles such as Dany and Bandarol. And then you go into the, uh, other types of the military production. Europe doesn't even register that, and United States too. And that means That's right. That means for United States, even if you consider, which it is not even close, probability of a single interceptor from the Patriot PAC-3 having the probability of hitting the target 100 or 1.0, that means what? Each missile hits the target.
So for them to just to deal with the Geranium-4 and Geranium-5, United States will need to produce additional 26,000 missiles And meanwhile, Donald Trump was in the Oval Office bragging about how he saved the obliteration of the world and the world was going to be obliterated. But he says, I'm the one who saved everyone. I mean, it's just utter nonsense. Here, play this clip.
Not only should he get it for this year, but there's never been anybody in the history of the Nobel Prize that deserves it more. I did. I settled 8 wars, uh, and I've stopped Maybe the total obliteration of the world because Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.
He brags about settling 8 wars when we know he didn't. Let's play it.
I said, wow, what an honor. I settled 8 wars. Another one is coming.
And here's what he says about speaking with Putin about the potential spread of the plague in Siberia and what's going on there and Donald Trump's like to the media. He says, says, um, you want to speak with Putin? Or he was like, I have a call. I'm sure we're going to celebrate his birthday, his 74th birthday. Are you celebrating Putin's birthday? You know, I'm not really sure. This isn't like a— play the clip.
Have you spoken with Putin yet?
Have you spoken with Vladimir Putin yet?
I have a call set up. Today is his birthday. Today is Vladimir Putin's birthday. I'm sure you're going to celebrate. Are you going to celebrate his birthday? No, I have a call set up.
And here's what I was going to say before showing you the clip. I wanted to show you the clip first, which is these aren't, these aren't funny topics. You know, I have a sense of humor. Sure, you have a sense of humor. There are time, manner, and place for jokes. I like to joke. I like to laugh. I like to be happy. It's not funny to joke about nuclear annihilation of Los Angeles and San Diego. That's not a funny joke. You know, when lots of media pundits like, he's being sarcastic, he's joking, what he really meant to say was— what do you mean what he really meant to say? He's being sarcastic.
He's—
we're talking about nuclear annihilation. We're talking about the president of the United States. We're not talking about the Kardashian TV show. We're not talking about some, you know, anime cartoon. We're talking about real life, damn it. And one of the things that Trump's done is he made words and actions and existence meaningless. You know, it's like a simulation. It's like people treat this as it's like some game and we're all extras in some reality show. This is real life, damn it. And we shouldn't have the president of the United States being so careless with words or malicious with words, whichever one you think. At best, it's careless and reckless. At worst, it's malicious and instigating nuclear annihilation of cities. Whichever one you think it is, regardless, it's bad. We need to have people who are serious. This is serious stuff. And so when Donald Trump's like to the press and he goes, what, you celebrating Putin's birthday? These aren't funny jokes. Everything I've shared in this video is deadly, deadly serious. And I don't say this to scare you. I don't say this to be hyperbolic. I say this so we understand what the hell is going on.
By the way, that's why the book is called WTF. It's like, WTF? We all wake up, we're like— I wake up, I'm like, what the F is this? And when I see Donald Trump talking about annihilation of San Diego and Los Angeles or whatever, and then the press was like, that's not what he said, he said he was going to protect it, you have to understand the way he speaks. I'm like, I heard what he said. He shouldn't be— we shouldn't be making excuses.
WTF, America.
And did you hear as well, you know, it's funny, our publisher had reached out to CNN and other places, you know, as part of the book tour. And I was like, I don't really want to go on corporate news, but it's part of it. It's part of having a book. But it's just so interesting. They were like, nope, we don't— we're not having— we're not going to let you promote the book there. So anyway, I should have known that to begin with. But regardless, ignore that. Just WTF America. Get the hardcover, get the ebook or the audiobook.
Pre-order it.
Preorder it now. Let's keep the momentum going there. Thanks, everybody. We appreciate you.
