Transcript of MAGA Mike Shuts Down House as Trump's Bill Blows Up!!! New

Accordingly, the House stands adjourned until noon on Tuesday next for morning hour debate.

MAGA Mike Johnson, the Republican Speaker of the House, shut down Congress once again. You heard it right there. The next time Congress gets back into session tomorrow, they just don't do any work under MAGA Mike Johnson. Now MAGA Mike was panicking because the Senate parliamentarian knocked out the $1 billion in funding that the House was going to give in the reconciliation bill for Donald Trump's Golden Ballroom. So MAGA Mike shut down the House of Representatives in order to regroup and figure out how to loot and pillage $1 billion from American taxpayers to now pay for the Golden Ballroom. And so because this was a reconciliation bill, the MAGAs were trying to do an end run around the 60-vote cloture requirement in the United States Senate. Otherwise it would be subject to a filibuster because they really wanted to get Donald Trump that $1 billion for his golden ballroom. But you see, the Senate parliamentarian, it's this little known position but has a lot of power when the Senate tries to pass things through reconciliation with the House versus needing the kind of 60-vote marker in order to avoid a filibuster. But the Senate parliamentarian made a ruling that this reconciliation bill cannot have the golden ballroom, $1 billion of funding in it.

Here's how it was announced. Senate parliamentarian just knocked out the provision in the Republican bill to spend $1 billion on Trump's ballroom per the Budget Committee Dems. They challenged it and they won the challenge in front of the parliamentarian. While we expect Republicans to change this bill, Senator Merkley says. This bill to appease Trump. Democrats are prepared to challenge any change to this bill whatsoever. Midas Touch Network's chief DC correspondent Scott McFarland says tough break for Donald Trump's ballroom. The Senate parliamentarian rules that the $1 billion project would require 60 votes for approval per Senate Budget Committee Democrats. A very, very steep climb. It cannot pass with 50 as the MAGAs were trying to jam this one in. So what are the MAGA Republicans doing right now? In addition to shutting down Congress, shutting down the House of Representatives? I mean, you probably like, Ben, is this déjà vu? You told us in the last video last week they shut down Congress, then you did one 2 weeks before. This is what MAGA Mike is doing because he runs the House like the Russian Duma, a rubber stamp for dear leader Donald Trump. It's so sickening.

But in addition to shutting it down, the MAGA Republicans over the weekend held something called Dedicate 250. Rededicate 250, where it basically was this, you know, kind of right-wing, kind of phony Christian nationalism, like Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, but not actually living the values, just like treating Jesus like it was like a football— he's like a football game or something. And they're like, they bring up these like so-called pastors and these so-called religious leaders, and they're like, and God blessed us to give Donald a ballroom that's golden. Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to give him a golden ballroom. I'm serious. This is— that's my impression right there, right here. Here is one of these pastors. God wants him to have a ballroom. So as the ballroom has been struck down by a court and by the Senate parliamentarian, here's what's going on here. Play this clip. It's hard to believe that it would take 2 centuries for the Lord to raise up a great man to bring that ballroom finally to stand where it needs to stand.

It's extraordinary. We only had to wait 200 years.

Then you have MAGA Republican Senator Tim Scott give a speech and he's like, and everybody, when I say Jesus, I want to hear you shout Jesus. And it's like, okay. Like y'all are covering up the Epstein files, like you're covering up child sex trafficking rings. Okay, Donald Trump is like the mo— I don't care if you're religious or not religious. Donald Trump's the most low-class, low-character, immoral sicko that frickin' ever existed, or at least one of them here. But we can play this clip so you can hear for yourself. Jesus says Tim Scott. Oh yeah. Then they bring on Reverend Franklin Graham, and Reverend Franklin Graham says, we need to stop gay marriage, we need to stop the transgender, we need to stop people from loving people, and we need to hate in the name of Jesus. America has become morally rotten, completely sick with sin. Transgenderism, same-sex marriage, opening women's locker rooms to men are just the tip of the iceberg. Why do we need to rededicate ourselves? When God sent the flood and destroyed the earth, it was because man's heart had become so evil and violent. In the news we see unimaginable violence— rapes, murders, mass shootings. On YouTube there's so much violence. Movies, video games are full of violence. We have an insatiable appetite for violence, and I believe this grieves the heart of God and will bring his judgment if we don't repent as a nation.

And then you had another so-called pastor, a MAGA pastor. Robert Jeffress tells the people gathered that if the Founding Fathers were around today, they would call themselves Christian nationalists also. Here, let's play this clip. These leaders who loved our country and loved our God would be called Christian Nationalists today, and it is a title they would have gladly embraced. By the way, if being a Christian nationalist means loving Jesus Christ and loving America, count me in. Then you have J.D. Vance. He appeared by a pre-recorded video at this thing, and he's like, pray for me, will you? Will you pray for me? I ask you from the bottom of my heart. Pray for me. I need your prayers right now more than ever. These people are the biggest con artists in the world. And like, you know, JD Vance's history, right? In high school, JD Vance said that he was gay, and then he said he got gay conversion. His name wasn't even JD Vance, it was another name. And then he said that he's not gay because he got gay conversion. And then he came out as, as, as like, it's like an Appalachian.

I'm an Appalachian, one of the Appalachians, like from the suburbs of Cincinnati. And he was trying to act like an 'An anti-Trump, Donald Trump is Hitler,' is what he would say. And then he became like an anti-gay, like, Trump sycophant. Like, this guy's— and then he's involved with 3 different names. So he goes, 'Pray for me.' Here, play this clip. And just as I pray for all of you, I ask for your prayers for me, for the president, and for the entire cabinet. I always ask people to pray for wisdom and for courage for their leadership. But because we've got the right religion, we thrive. It's like, okay, dude, shut the heck up, you idiot. Like, you're a clown, you're a fraud, you're a phony. Nobody's buying your shtick. And then MAGA Mike Johnson shutting down Congress and talking about the issues that I know are on the top of Americans' mind— banning mifepristone, a big deal for MAGA Mike. Let's play it.

This other legal big case that came out of Louisiana, which is you guys essentially down there have been fighting the use of the abortion pill or mifepristone because Louisiana has basically outlawed nearly all abortions, but people can get this through the mail. It went to the Supreme court about whether it would pause an order that meant you had to at least have an in-person visit. The court's not going to do that while the case plays out. There were objections by Justices Thomas and Alito saying essentially by allowing these pills to flow into states where abortion is not widely available, it's going around the Dobbs decision. And there are calls for the administration to do something more about it.

Thomas and Alito were exactly right. It's an end run around state laws. And you have a number of states who have acted. It through our small-d democratic process to address that issue. And by mailing the drugs to women across state lines, you go around the state laws. And they're exactly right, it's a serious problem. Abortions have increased in numbers since Dobbs overturned Roe, and that's a great concern to us. The mailing of this drug is a very dangerous thing. You're sending it to young women without physician oversight or assistance, and people are being harmed in more ways than one. And so I think it's a big issue. You know, I'm encouraging the administration to, to assist with that. And I think there's a lot of evaluation on how they can handle it.

Yeah, I know there's pressure that the FDA could be doing more potentially to oversee how that moves through the system. Okay. I want to ask you, we're obviously here at this faith event.

So what is your message to Black Americans, Black voters about This redistricting, the Supreme Court issued a long-awaited opinion, and I think it was long overdue.

And they stated the obvious, that drawing congressional lines must be fair. You cannot draw lines on the basis of race. And that's what was done in Louisiana. So they declared it to be an unconstitutional gerrymander. And it was. This brings back fairness and certainty to the system. And I think a lot of states are looking to make sure that their maps are not unconstitutional like Louisiana's was.

As you invoke the word of God, MAGA Mike, that's exactly what, uh, disenfranchising Black voters and gutting the Voting Rights Act. So when are we going to get back to talking about, I don't know, kitchen table issues, MAGA Mike? You want to talk about the suffering of the American people? So CBS News had some polling out this morning showing 76% of people are concerned. 67% say they are stressed about their own personal financial situation. You know that generally the incumbent is punished in the midterms and people are feeling very uncertain about how they're doing personally. How do you campaign against that?

Well, this relates to the last segment we were talking about, the Strait of Hormuz. Really, all points lead back to that. Gas prices are too high because of that. And then that has an effect on how goods are transported to the grocery store and all the rest. So as soon as we get that straightened out, we will get back to the kitchen table issues, the economic issues that we put in in place to make the economy grow.

I know, so utterly pathetic. But you know, if you take a look at Donald Trump's approval right now, you see record lows. The latest CBS YouGov poll— oh, April was the last one that was taken— Donald Trump's approval was 39% in that one. Now it's at 37% approval, 63% disapprove. On the issue of immigration, Donald Trump's net negative 14. On the Iran war, net negative 32. On the economy, net negative 35. 44 on inflation, net negative 46. These are historically bad numbers. And MAGAs gearing up right now. This is how CNN reported it. MAGAs are already planning to run the same playbook, uh, across the country, but specifically in Ohio, attacking Democrats as being out of step on immigration and transgender rights. They're just going to attack the transgender community. And so The MAGA Republicans are like, Sherrod Brown is the Democratic candidate running for Senate. There is the absolute perfect political cicada. This is a guy who comes out of the ground and pretends he's moderate working-class American, and then comes here to Washington, DC, and he's a hardcore liberal, man. You know, he's such a hardcore liberal. You know, it's like giving people fair wages and healthcare and fighting for people to have affordable homes.

And supporting unions and workers. Just a hardcore liberal, man. Well, you support marginalized communities, man. Like, come on, get, get with the program, man. I mean, these people are— again, we just have to mock these people. They're so damn pathetic. They're all a bunch of losers. Truthfully, there's like the biggest losers in life.
