We've got a lot to discuss on this episode of the Midas Touch podcast. Donald Trump announced that he will be bombing Iran in 24 hours. He said, "We'll negotiate with bombs." Then 30, 45 minutes after, he said, "I'm gonna hold off. We had it scheduled, but now I'm holding off because I spoke with Saudi Arabia and Qatar and UAE, and they told me we're now making progress in the negotiations." Donald Trump yet again is negotiating with himself, and Iran continues to mock him publicly. Speaking about mocking him publicly, Putin is headed to China to meet Xi Jinping the next 24 to 48 hours. They've announced that they plan to actually sign written agreements. 40 documents will be signed, and they're specifically saying that because no documents were signed with Donald Trump. Frameworks for frameworks for frameworks, I guess, with Donald Trump of things that were less than what China was doing when Biden was in office. Also, Putin and Xi Jinping announcing that they will be engaged in a multipolar world order coordination. Another jab at Donald Trump and his visit, as Xi Jinping looked at Donald Trump and essentially said, your country is on the decline, to which Donald Trump said, yeah, we are on the decline, but Aren't I making it hot?

00:01:22

Gee, aren't I making it hot?

00:01:24

Speaking about making it hot, Moscow bomb— being bombed by Zelensky. Moscow on fire. Uh, Zelensky, through ballistic missile strikes and drones, has been able to evade the Russian air defense system, striking deep into Russia, into Moscow, in the most heavily, uh, guarded areas. And we saw an oil depot there that was targeted, another critical infrastructure. That was targeted. I kind of remember, when was it, uh, two Februarys ago when Donald Trump yelled at Zelensky and said, "You don't have the cards, you don't know what you're doing," which Donald Trump repeated over and over again. And I remember back in that very first Oval Office visit of the second term, Zelensky warned Donald Trump that one day you're going to need some help and you may get into a war, and it doesn't matter if you're protected by vast expanses of ocean, you're going to need help of other people. And so remember that. And so we have Zelensky clearly showing he does have the cards. We'll talk about that. Also, we've been reporting on the Midas Touch Network, but I really haven't seen it reported anywhere else on TV or any type of mainstream, uh, reporting.

00:02:34

A nuclear power plant was hit by drones in the UAE. Allegedly was hit by drones. We'll talk about that in a moment. An Israeli nuclear plant seemed to have exploded. Israel claims it was a controlled detonation. Which caused a mushroom cloud. They didn't wanna notify anybody about it. Typical detonation, they said. I don't think that's what happened. Saudi Arabia said that they were attacked by drones. I think lots of people are asking, is this real or is this just pretext in order to justify additional invasions of Iran? What's actually going on there? I think these are big developments that we should be talking about. But speaking about pretext, the United States is now saying And they're laundering this through Axios, which has been spreading a lot of the Trump propaganda in the invasion by Trump and Netanyahu of Iran. The Axios report is that Cuba has acquired 300 drones which could be used to target Florida. And the local Florida sheriff said, we didn't know anything about this. So this is news to us if this is the case. And then the MAGA Republican Congress members were like, you see, We've seen how drone warfare is impacting the Middle East.

00:03:53

Now Cuba has it. We must, for our national security, take urgent action against Cuba, like Clockwork creating this pretext. When Donald Trump is backed into a corner, like after his disastrous trip to China, where I think most people other than his MAGA sycophants have given him an F, what does he do? He attacks US allies, or maybe former allies at this point. He attacks Canada. He attacks Greenland. We'll talk about what's happening there. Also, the grift continues. In addition to the news breaking that Donald Trump made 3,800 stock trades in Q1 of 2026, which all seem to also be taking place right around the various swings and dips and rising of the markets during the war. Also, Donald Trump invested in companies that he is interacting with on a daily basis, whether it's Nvidia or Dell or others. We'll go through what went down there. Trump also announcing that, uh, he's now dismissing the case that he filed as a so-called private citizen against the IRS and Treasury Department, where he was suing for $10 billion to take our taxpayer dollars. And instead he says, as part of a settlement. I've dismissed the case, but now we're doing a settlement where we're gonna create a fund, a weaponization fund, where $1.776 billion will be doled out by Donald Trump.

00:05:22

And he's gonna create a committee of Trump sycophants to January 6th insurrectionists and other people Donald Trump claims was injured by the Biden, uh, administration. And so that's how Donald Trump is spending your taxpayer dollars right now. Inflation continues to surge at this pace. We're looking at, uh, the Consumer Price Index hitting 5% by the end of this year. Pay attention. That was a number we've been talking about on the Midas Touch Network. And as CPI rises and PPI rises, it's producer price index or wholesale prices. Trump's approval continues to tank. Republicans in the generic congressional ballot now trail Democrats by 11 points in this new New York Times Siena poll. Also, Trump's approval, net negative 22. 38%, the lowest in the history of that poll. So in other words, brothers, we've got a lot to discuss on a lot of news that we have to discuss. And sorry for that long intro, but we have a lot of news to discuss.

00:08:15

You're good.

00:08:15

Perfect. All right, Benji, that went great. Happy birthday, big bro. Pumped to get into today's show. Where do you want to start off today?

00:08:22

Just look at the post that Donald Trump made before we went live. He said, I've been asked by the Emir of Qatar. I've been asked by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. I've been asked by the president of the United Arab Emirates to hold off on our planned military attack of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was scheduled tomorrow, and that serious negotiations are taking place, and that in their opinion, as great leaders and allies, a deal will be made which will be very acceptable to the United States of America as well as all countries. And this guy's such a clown. In the Middle East and beyond, this deal will include, importantly, no nuclear weapons for Iran. Based on my respect for the above-mentioned leaders, I have instructed the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Daniel Cain, and the United States military that we will not be doing the scheduled attack of Iran tomorrow, but have further instructed them to be prepared to go forward with a full large-scale assault of Iran on a moment's notice in the event that an acceptable deal is not reached. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

00:09:28

And Iran's just been mocking him all day, like they're posting these like video memes of saying, never a dull moment with Trump, just a daily political circus. And it's the IRGC spokesperson like laughing at Donald Trump's being like a circus clown. Or they did a video where it's like Donald Trump and Rubio and Elon Musk trying to negotiate with Xi Jinping, and Xi Jinping doesn't say a word. And then they're like, okay, whatever you want, whatever you want, Xi. Sure, we're sorry, G. And there's this video where it's like Trump entering damage control mode, and it's just a bunch of people driving their bicycles or riding their bicycles like right into a ditch. I mean, this is how they're responding to it. I mean, Iran's made very clear for months now what their negotiating framework is. They haven't moved. They haven't budged from it. Donald Trump— I don't need to rehash this, but Trump previously agreed to Iran's negotiating framework. He reposted Iran's foreign minister and said, we agreed to your framework. And then one they got into a negotiation that was in Pakistan, Donald Trump was like, and JD Vance were like, what? Maybe they don't understand English.

00:10:42

Maybe that's where we got confused when Trump reposted the Iranian foreign minister. I don't know. Maybe they just don't know our language very well. And then they would go, because the real issue is, is that Iran's first set of leaders have been destroyed, their second set, and they're kind of dealing with the fourth set. Of leaders, and they really don't even know who's in charge of the country right now. And by the way, you have like state regime media here, Fox and CBS and Axios and others like regurgitate that and launder that. It's like, of course we know who's leading Iran. Like, I know at a very specific level who's leading Iran. I know who their foreign minister is. I know who the head of their parliament is. I know the spokesperson from their foreign ministry. I know who their ayatollah is. I know who their spokesperson is for the IRGC. Like, I know who their leadership is. They're being run by the Islamic Republic. The IRGC has further entrenched its power. All of America's allies, or I should say former allies, have been reaching up, lining up to speak with Foreign Minister Araghchi, who, by the way, was in China the week before Donald Trump went to China and very much coordinated with Xi Jinping before Donald Trump showed up.

00:11:53

And so we know it's just the, the level of kind of amateurishness here is, you know, is, is just utterly ridiculous. And then what Donald Trump does after he's kind of looks weak, looks pathetic as he returns home from another failed foreign trip, it's just attack Canada, attack Greenland. And why don't I bring in Charlie Angus? As he can describe to you what Donald Trump just did when it comes to Canada and its implications. Charlie Angus, of course, runs Midas Canada. But I just want to again set the stage. Donald Trump goes to China, achieves nothing. Xi Jinping achieves everything and more times 100. Xi Jinping could not have wanted a better meeting with a United States president, though it pains me to call Donald Trump that, recognizing Xi Jinping not just as an equal, but as the dominant hegemonic power, constantly saying how powerful and strong Xi Jinping— Xi Jinping didn't say that about Donald Trump. And then returning to throw Taiwan under the bus, making no deals in the semiconductor industry. In all respect, it was an utter failure. So Trump comes back, he attacks Canada. You have the Undersecretary of Defense, uh, this guy Eldridge Colby, you know, and he starts posting, we're going after Canada right now, and Canada's not a good ally, and Canada did this and Canada, Canada really needs to just buy more weapons and they need to focus more on their own military spending.

00:13:30

Canada is making record investments in military spending. There's ain't buying it from the US anymore. Canada views itself more along the lines of Europe right now is what's going on. So let me just show you, this is what the guy says, Elbridge Colby, a strong Canada that prioritizes hard power over rhetoric benefits us all. Unfortunately, Canada has failed to make credible progress on its defense commitment. The Department of War is pausing the Permanent Joint Board on Defense to reassess how this forum benefits shared North American defense. Like, isn't this Trump regime just a bunch of damn predators? I mean, they go and attack Canada, they go and attack Greenland. It's so pathetic. Let's take a look at what Charlie Angus had to say. Let's play.

00:14:12

Donald Trump is elevating once again the threat to Canada. He's so desperate to change the channel on the dumpster fire in the Strait of Hormuz. Heck, he's had his picture taken with some guy in a green alien suit to distract people. And whenever he needs to distract his base, he turns back to threatening Canada. So right now, we've just learned that the Pentagon has announced that they are walking away from the Canada-US Defense Board. This defense board was set up in 1940, and it set the stage for everything that came after. The willingness of the Roosevelt administration and the Canadian government to build a notion of a Fortress North America that then allowed them to work together on the convoys, on the invasion of Europe, on D-Day, on the follow-up after the war of becoming increasingly integrated economically, of working together on the global stage as allies and neighbors. Well, that's all gone now. Why? Well, the line is that Canada has failed to increase its defense spending. Excuse me if I do the laugh out loud moment. What's really pissing the Trump administration off is that we have been increasing our military defense spending.

00:15:22

And we have been working in Latvia. We've been supporting Ukraine. We've been working with the Nordic countries. We've been working with Finland. And those are all countries that the Americans have abandoned and they see Ukraine as an enemy. And the fact that Canada is getting ready to be able to defend ourselves, they see that as a threat because they want us to be a vassal state. This is a nation that has been relentlessly threatening us, claiming that they could arbitrarily move the border, saying that we don't have a right to exist and that they would break us economically. Yeah, they're pissed that we're getting our defenses in order, and so they're threatening us.

00:16:02

Okay, then Donald Trump threatens and attacks Greenland. And according to the New York Times, when the Trump regime has just sent Jeff Jeff Landry, the purported special envoy to Greenland. One of the things that Donald Trump is now demanding is that, uh, the US wants veto power over any major investment deal that takes place in the country. Also, the Trump regime wants US forces to stay indefinitely in the kind of military bases that already exist without having to ask Denmark for permission. So just more of Trump being an absolute predator. Jeff Landry showed up and like a total sociopath, like almost like a— like the way a serial killer behaves. We don't want to go and say hello to everybody here. That's all we want to hand out some candy to everybody over here. That's what we're doing. This guy's a nutbag. Here, let's play this clip of Landry.

00:16:59

Impressions of Greenland.

00:17:00

Oh, I love it. Yes. Yeah, it's great.

00:17:03

Do you have a missing message from President Trump with you? Oh, actually I do. I talked to him late last night. He said go over there and make a bunch of friends, as many friends as we can over there. Make some friends over there. And that green and arrow friends, make some— makes them go and go and go and tell them that, uh, we're gonna hand out some candy over there. Over there.

00:17:21

Yeah, that's like what a serial killer says in a movie before he commits his crimes. Like, the guy could not be creepier. We got another couple entries too, right?

00:17:30

And then react to it.

00:17:31

The Greenlanders are a little nervous about what your intentions are, if it's still to acquire Greenland.

00:17:36

What do you say to that?

00:17:37

Oh no, look, I'm here simply to build relationships and to look and listen and to learn and to see if there are opportunities to expand the relationship between Greenland and the United States and Denmark.

00:17:49

And so I— yeah, it's, uh, it's a great day. I'm excited, really am.

00:17:54

So excited, right? It's a good day for everybody. It's going to be good. We're going to make some friends. I'm going to make some relations. I'm going to tell them— we're going to tell them that we get veto power over We get veto power over everything. So you want corporations here? We're gonna veto y'all. We're going to veto you.' I'm not sure— Is that an offensive Landry impression? That's fair game for an impression like that?

00:18:13

It might be offensive to the folks of Louisiana but we'll take it anyway.

00:18:16

No no no! Don't even go there! That's how specifically Jeff Landry talks. That's not a Cajun accent.

00:18:23

Yeah, no, that's not a Cajun accent.

00:18:26

That's specifically Landry.

00:18:28

Very clear.

00:18:29

On my birthday. I don't want to be canceled. That was purely a Jeff Landry impression.

00:18:35

Now, it's an important point of clarification, Ben. Good, good call there on clarifying that. You know, I saw another photo of Landry. There was another screenshot. He came out during that interview. He was wearing like jeans. He goes to his hotel, he changes into like camo pants, and then he came out wearing camo pants. Like, all these people are so weird. They are so— they all have these bizarre personality disorders. And just think about the contrast right here. Think about the side by side we are seeing. In the past week, we have seen, uh, where was he, in New Delhi, Araghchi, the Iranian foreign minister, was there talking with the BRICS bloc, uh, strengthening their alliances with the BRICS bloc. Uh, you have Iran also speaking to many other countries throughout Europe about passage through the Strait of Hormuz, which, by the way, they formalized their control over the Strait of Hormuz today, uh, with the Persian Strait Authority that they have built. They now have a Twitter account where they're providing updates on who they're letting through, who they are not letting through, the tolls they are charging, which is going to be set up through this Bitcoin kind of system.

00:19:38

Ben could dive into the details on all of that shortly, but they are saying the strait is officially ours. Here is our governmental body that controls it. Here is our Twitter account, our communication arm that controls it. This is the new world order. Congratulations, Donald Trump. Look what you have done. So you have that going on. Iran emerging as a major power in the region, and you have China meeting with, with, uh, Putin in Beijing right after Donald Trump's failed meeting, already signaling to the world that they have about 40 deals or more to sign. Actual deals, actual pen-to-paper things that will actually cause things to actually move forward, not sort of loose claims of commitments or any of the BS that Donald Trump tries to peddle. Actual deals on paper. And while all of that is going on, What is Trump doing? Trump is attacking our own allies. This is the time where you're supposed to be actually trying to make good with allies, trying to build a coalition, right? If this is the existential threat that you think, right? If you think Iran is an existential threat to the existence of the United States and the West, you would want to be building coalitions right now, right?

00:20:52

You'd want to be getting together the alliances. But Donald Trump, from day one, or I would say even before day one of this administration, has been relentlessly attacking our allies, attacking NATO, attacking Canada profusely, just absolutely abhorrent stuff that we are seeing. And now he has the nerve when we are in this position, the United States, Trump in this position of desperation to go, please, Canada, please help us, help us, help us. But his way of begging is to chastise them, is to castigate them, is to yell at them and attack them as if that's going to change their behavior when they have already moved on. Donald, they're already dealing with Europe. They're buying European weapons and European jets. People have realized that you, the United States, is not a reliable partner. And one of the reasons why I think Donald Trump is so dangerous, not just throughout his presidency, but why this is such a cancer on the United States in general and why it's such a poison pill for future presidencies is because think about the mindset now of any of our adversaries or any of our allies in the future as they enter into deals with the United States, right?

00:22:01

Think about if there were to be an Iran nuclear deal part 2. right? A new, uh, Democrat comes into power. They have a great— they have an Obama-like diplomatic, uh, strengths that they make this deal. Do you think a country like Iran is going to sign a deal with the United States knowing that the next president who comes in could be somebody like Trump who just torches the thing? Jeff Landry. Do you think, uh, Europe is going to sign commitments or welcome us into these agreements knowing that within 4, 8 8 years, a new president could come in, a Republican, and could just rip the whole thing up and not agree to any of this stuff. So the idea that they have any right to say, oh, Canada isn't living up to our defense commitments, it's like, you are the last people to talk. You have broken every single agreement that you have had. You have disgraced this country in front of the entire world. And all of you people should just be absolutely ashamed. We are witnessing a crime syndicate right now running our government, a criminal cartel, the Trump cartel at the helm in our government, committing crimes on a crime spree every single day.

00:23:08

And when you are doing that and when you are behaving so clownish, do not think that anybody else in the world is going to treat you other than anything like— than like a clown. No disrespect to actual clowns, of course.

00:23:23

Exactly. And look what it comes down to, too. It's why I give the analogy of of, look, we are the smelly kid in class right now. We're going to have to take many showers to sort of get the stench of the Trump regime off of us in order to be trusted by our allies, to be trusted just by anybody in general in 5, 10, 15 years down the line. The damage that has been already caused is difficult, right? Just to say the least. And so we are going to have to collectively here as a country, like, pull each other up by our bootstraps now and get to work. Right. It's so humiliating. We, we like the Pro-Democracy Coalition, we are unwillful participants to this humiliation ritual that the Trump regime is putting us all through, that the Landrys of the Trump regime and MAGA are putting us all through. They're sending our best and brightest, aren't we? I mean, it's really pathetic and it's frustrating because there are serious people here, very serious leaders in this country that want to do good, that want to make sure this country is firing on all cylinders for, for every American.

00:24:29

And not to just bend over backwards to appease one person. That's what hurts me the most is seeing just like this utter bizarre behavior from anyone in quote unquote leadership, just bending over backwards to appease Donald Trump and make him look like he's some sort of godly figure. It's weird, it's perverse, and we just all need to call it out.

00:24:47

You know, there's this right-wing podcast comedian guy, Tim Dillon, used to be kind of like a MAGA guy, I guess. And, you know, he said, he said, you know, America, we shouldn't think that we're like the cool kid anymore. We're not the QB, you know, anymore. He's like, we're like the weird kid in college who like still wants to hang out at the high school parties. He goes, America under Trump is like the pedo. It's like, we're like the gross thing. Like, don't, don't think that we're the cool kid anymore. He goes, like, Donald Trump just gave that to China. It's an interesting perspective from a right-wing podcaster. Also, when you talk about internationally, he goes, America's like the pedo now, covering up like the Epstein files. Like, what are we doing? What are we doing? We're the weird kid who hangs out with high school students when we're in college. What are we doing? And that is true. That is this whole crew. It's like not just that they're a bunch of liars and phony and fraud and idiots, like just a bunch of like grotesque things. Also, when we talk about international affairs, also stability, certainty, predictability, and trust are the most important things.

00:25:53

And U.S. used to represent that— the peaceful transition of power, the fact that you can have administration administrations that strongly disagree with each other, but you would have a peaceful handoff. You wouldn't have one administration spending all of its time attacking the prior administration, and you would try to kind of keep this consistency and keep these structures and frameworks as a leader of the free world in place. Donald Trump threw that all the way. Also, I think about the expression, uh, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I also think of Donald Trump, you know, snatching weakness from the jaws of strength. It's so obvious where strength actually could be with— I mean, Carney recognizes it. I mean, Carney recognizes that Canada, an energy superpower, joining forces with the European Union, especially a united European Union that can bring the UK back into the fold. You bring Australia there, you know, to join with it. You focus on traditional allies in Asia, Southeast Asia. Talk about South Korea, you talk about Japan, you talk about Philippines, you know, you talk about actually supporting the people who you're supposed to be standing with. And then most significantly, you talk about Ukraine because Zelensky is now the, you know, not just the strongest military in Europe, one of the strongest militaries in the entire world right now in response to Russia's invasion.

00:27:29

Ukraine has developed the most innovative drone technology, drone interceptors, those unmanned vessels. You're talking about the ability to, you know, to strike deep within Russia, some of the best modern warfare tactics, some of the best surveillance, counterintelligence. I mean, Zelensky has that right now with one of one of the largest standing and active armies. So if you were actually thinking about where the strength is, Trump looks to strongmen like Putin and like, and like Xi Jinping and like Kim Jong-un. And Trump doesn't recognize that strength could be U.S. as a leader working with Canada, working with Denmark, not against it. Bringing together NATO in such a strong way. Trump could have actual victories if he just left the economy and stopped interfering with it and let the economy just do its thing. Let American companies be innovative and stay the hell out of it and stop manipulating the market. We'll talk about that. He could take credit for a booming economy if he allowed NATO to work with Zelensky to strengthen it. He could take credit for these massive wins right now that are happening that are happening, you know, with, with Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Ukraine's counteroffensive.

00:28:51

Like, there was a world where, based on the just trajectory of the United States, if you had my 19-month-old daughter, Ximena, in the Oval Office instead of Donald Trump and none of these things happened, you know, you would have been— you could have actually been taking credit and spiking the football, and history would remember you as actually a great leader, not as the worst. Ever simply because you stole the valor and credit of your predecessors and you could have stolen it. And yet Trump found the way to just destroy it all. Let's tariff the world. Let's get caught up in the Strait of Hormuz. Then let's call that a victory. It's aha. That's what we always wanted to do. Get caught up in the Strait of Hormuz. He interferes with the predictability of our markets. Thus the bond market, which is usually the best indicator of where things really are. The bond market is absolutely terrible. Look at the 10-year. 30-year yields right now, like the highest in recent history, which means why your mortgage rates are going up. People can't afford things. And that's kind of the status of where things are right now.

00:29:53

So we want to talk a lot more about this when we come back from our first quick break. A reminder, if you can, you know, I had my ears covered, but I heard Jordyn Maeve said something about becoming a member. Become a member of our YouTube. Become a member of our YouTube channel. Also, make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel. Subscribe to the Midas Touch podcast on audio as well and leave a 5-star review wherever you get audio podcasts. All right, let's take our first quick break of the show. When we come back, I want to talk about these incidents that have been occurring at nuclear plants across the Middle East and also an oil depot in Venezuela. Let's talk a little bit about Cuba. I want to share with you Donald Trump's very, very, very suspicious— would be putting it lightly. There's probably lots of other words that you could use for these stock trades that happened during Q1, 3,800 of them. We'll talk about that. So much more to cover. Let's take our first quick break.

Have you ever actually looked at the ingredient list on your dog's food? After the first ingredient, good luck trying to pronounce half of what's in there. Most kibble is made using extreme heat, and then companies add back synthetic vitamins and strange chemicals just to make it seem nutritious. That's why I love Sundays for Dogs. Sundays is made with 80% plus all-natural meats and superfoods like kale, ginger, and blueberries. Instead of being blasted at high temperatures, it's gently air-dried so it looks and smells like real food, more like high-quality jerky than traditional dog food. No fillers, no nutritional blends, no chemicals, just simple, complete nutrition. And my favorite part might be that my fussy and very picky Shih Tzu loves it. And if you know her, that's a very big deal. It was founded by veterinarian Dr. Tori Waxman, and it's designed to meet the highest standards for both health and convenience. No fridge, no freezer, no prep, and no mess. Over 100,000 dogs are already eating Sundays, and picky eaters absolutely love it. Make the switch to Sundays. Go right now to sundaysfordogs.com/andrew. 00:34:45

Well, you have one of Iran's leaders, MB Golabaf, who's their leader in the parliament, who was also just appointed in the past 48 hours to be an envoy to China. We know who the leaders are in Iran. Just stop with the gaslighting that we don't know who they are. It's a more entrenched version of the Islamic Republic than existed before you and Netanyahu launched this unlawful invasion at the end of February. MB Golubov posted, the world stands at the cusp of a new order. As President Xi said, the transformation unseen in a century is accelerating across the globe, and I emphasize that the Iranian nation's 70-day resistance has accelerated this transformation. The future belongs to the Global South. Now, statements like that are being coordinated, of course, with Russia and with Xi Jinping of China, because they're all meeting with each other. They're all talking with each other. This isn't some coincidence. While Donald Trump's out there making deranged social media posts, all of this is being planned. So when Putin arrives in China in the next 24 to 48 hours, Russia and China will 9/40 documents, and Putin and Xi Jinping will adopt a, quote, declaration on the formation of a multipolar world and a new type of international relations.

00:36:09

The message is very clear: China is the hegemonic power, and it is leading right now as the world's leader. That's the message that they're projecting while Donald Trump is sending deranged memes on his social media platform that, what, lost hundreds of millions of dollars in Q1. And we'll talk what Trump was doing during Q1 while his company was losing money. But Trump personally ain't losing money with that. I mean, he's probably already made a fortune on the Trump Media, in my opinion. Well, here's the types of things that he's posting. It was the calm before the storm, which, by the way, is a QAnon line. And it's like some weird AI image of himself in some, like, Admiral with ships in the background and lightning bolts. And it's like, we made America great again. Like a golden AI image of Donald Trump pointing at you. President Trump gets younger. A deranged looking photo of Donald Trump next to Xi Jinping where he does not look younger. And then Space Force. And then it's Donald Trump in like some futuristic looking thing and it's an AI image of him like blowing up the world with nuclear weapons.

00:37:17

Like, that's what the United States is doing right now. Iran responds with posts of Donald Trump next to Saddam Hussein, that weird Trump golden statue and the Saddam Hussein. And they go, Saddam Hussein, Trump so damn insane. Then they just post photos of Donald Trump going, summary of Trump's speech, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, bullshit, blah, blah, lie, bullshit, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, lie, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, lie. That is how the United States looks to the rest of the world right now. And where previously Iran would have loved an audience with the president of the United States or his top envoys, Iran doesn't want to be next to the United States because like, if we're next to you, you're just going to like lie about the meeting and say a bunch of deranged things. And aren't true. You're going to use the meeting to negotiate as a way to basically lie about what our negotiating position is. So basically, you know, stay away from us. One of Iran's other national security leaders— yes, we know who their leadership is— Abrahim Azizi writes, Iran, within the framework of its national sovereignty and the guarantee of international trade security, has prepared a professional mechanism to manage traffic in the Strait of Hormuz along a designated route, which will be unveiled soon.

00:38:39

In this process, only commercial vessels and parties cooperating with Iran will benefit from it. The necessary fees will be collected for the specialized services provided under this mechanism. The route will remain closed to the operators of the so-called Freedom Project. And so Iran, very clear what its message is. They've launched their, uh, uh, their kind of their own port authority, if you will, that's going to be collecting these tolls with a social media account. They're also offering insurance to companies that want to, uh, secure safe passage. So they're developing an insurance company. They're working with Oman, which is notable because the country of Oman previously served as kind of an independent, neutral negotiator back in February. Remember, the Omani foreign minister thought he entered a deal in principle between Iran and the Trump regime because there was an agreement reached. And then that night, Netanyahu and Trump decided they were going to invade Iran the day an agreement in principle was reached. But that's what Trump does. It's how he's always viewed negotiations his whole life. To achieve that which he can't in litigation, that which he can't through business prowess because he's an idiot.

00:39:58

So you lure people into negotiations where good faith is supposed to be exemplified, and then you sucker punch them. That's Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a sucker puncher. Going back to what that right-wing podcaster Tim Dillon said, you know, there's nothing worse than someone who sucker punches you. That's exactly what Donald Trump is because he's too weak weak to look you in the face and actually execute an effective plan. He's a sucker puncher. And so, as the, you know, as Donald Trump is posting these bizarre and deranged memes, you know, we also have an active cover-up of what's going on in the world. I see corporate news here not talking about any of this. I just found it notable. I'm like, huh. So in the United Arab Emirates, there were multiple drones that hit in Barakah, the Baraka nuclear power plant in the al-Dafra region. And one of them hit the nuclear power plant.

00:40:54

I—

00:40:54

they said there's— we don't know if there's any radiological safety level issues. Okay.

00:40:59

Fascinating.

00:41:00

Now, that was 24 hours after an Israeli nuclear site blew up and there was a gigantic mushroom cloud. And Israel's like, coordinated detonation. This was pre-planned, really. You just have mushroom clouds emanating from nuclear sites where people believe you have your nuclear weapons. You're not going to tell the public.

00:41:21

You always want to do your nuclear, uh, tests and experiments, uh, you want to do them at the nuclear site. Just blow up there just to see what happens, as everyone knows.

00:41:31

Yeah, an American MQ-9 Reaper drone, uh, shot down over Yemen. which CENTCOM doesn't address this at all. Like, we can literally see it's a Reaper drone that's like there, and they'll act like it didn't happen. But like, we— I see the Reaper drone, damn it. So we had that happen. Um, Saudi Arabia says that it was attacked by multiple drones. Uh, and then you had in Venezuela, you had an oil depot there spontaneously blow up in Venezuela. I mean, isn't the Trump regime supposed to be looking after that in the Lake Makarbo region, which is apparently caught on fire? Routine gas depressurization operation. It's just the 14th non-combat energy incident since the war on Iran began. And look, whether these things are pretexts for the eventual re-invasion of Iran by the US, whether these things are going on At least in the past. And I look, I know I'm not acting like, you know, our national security apparatus was the most honest thing ever. Far from it. But you see all of these things happening. We see the videos of it and we're— CENTCOM isn't talking about it. I did videos over the weekend where we had some top military officials who were crossing— this is not getting a lot of attention anywhere else.

00:42:59

That's why I devote full videos to it. Like there are top military officials. I showed us the video of AFRICOM, basically the main African command center. Like there's CENTCOM, there's AFRICOM is one of them. And they talk about ISIS and Al Qaeda on the rise in Africa right now, you know, under cross-examination finally by members of Congress. But like, you don't hear this being talked about, you know, in the media at all. And you have all— you have all of these situations that are breaking out, these conflagrations.

00:43:32

I got to say, I don't know if I consider this a good thing of the Trump administration, but I will say the one thing that the Trump administration has done is really opened my eyes to the level of propaganda and BS that comes from our government, because I'm sure past administrations, you know, did plenty of similar things. And we have learned throughout history that we've done some incredibly messed up things with the CIA and in other countries. I mean, that's— that's no secret. Secret at this point. But Trump is just so obvious about all of it, and you really just see, oh my God, like, like, do I have to rethink like all of our history at this point? How many things have we been told that are actually true? What's complete and total BS? You know, and watching all these other countries too who are behaving like, you know, Saudi Arabia, UAE, all these countries who are known to hide things that happen— we look like that right now. And it became a kind of dark joke that we would make in the beginning of this war, going back to the beginning when Donald Trump said that this is just going to last a couple days.

00:44:33

When countries like the UAE or Saudi Arabia, uh, they wouldn't acknowledge that their buildings would actually be hit. They would say like euphemisms, like, oh, there's just some debris fell from the sky. So there's some debris and it fell and it hit this building. And there was a, oh, there was a, a second debris incident at the airport. And so we have to shut down the airport because more debris just, I don't know, just came out of the sky and just hit the building. And it's like, okay, enough with the BS. Stop lying to my face. And we're seeing that now from all of these governments. And, you know, it's why kind of independent reporting right now takes on a greater level of importance, especially as we see this new disturbing trend. And Ben, I don't want to step on your otter if things. We'll get to this in a second. But what's going on in Cuba right now I think is incredibly disturbing, um, because this is the most obvious kind of gaslighting, lying, uh, wag the dog that I have ever seen in my life. Like, this is, this is like, I don't know, going back to Iraq, right?

00:45:41

Weapons of mass destruction kind of stuff. If they basically like told you, hey, we're lying about this, We, we really want to go to war, so we're lying about these weapons over here. It's become that obvious with this administration, the tactics that they are doing. I'm sure any day now they are going to say that, uh, Cuba is 2 weeks away from having a nuclear weapon, you know, whatever, whatever it takes to justify, uh, this sort of action. But you could see how throughout history when there wasn't the internet, and don't get me wrong, there's plenty of disinformation information on the internet. But you could see how before the internet, that governments could just get away with this stuff, right? They could just lie to people's faces. They could just craft their own narratives. They could just completely make things up, drag their country into war under false pretenses. People, you know, kind of like Donald Trump, who just want to get into this for whether it's personal reasons, whether it's for their stock portfolios, whether it's to try to to be a wartime president, whatever the excuse is, whether it's to help a foreign country and out, whatever it is, making up these BS excuses used to be way easier.

00:46:48

And right now, I think people have really wised up to it. And that's why there's been such backlash to the stenographers. That's why there's been such backlash to the people like the folks at Axios who just parrot what Donald Trump says. And try to, uh, build this BS consensus for a war that nobody wants to be a part of. And it's why I think the approval ratings for Trump and the approval ratings for this war are like the lowest in history— below Vietnam, below Iraq, below Afghanistan, below any of this stuff— because the people are just not buying the same old bullshit anymore.

00:47:26

Exactly, Brad. And, and I want to emphasize your point that you made earlier in that is this is why it's so important to have good independent media out there, like highly vetted, resourced independent media out there that will actually show people the clips, that will, that will play the clips, that will play the footage, that will dig through the filings. And that's what I'm most thankful and grateful for here with this community, is like this pro-democracy community that we have here are genuinely interested in the facts. And they know exactly what you were saying there, Brett, that, that the scales are so tilted in the favor of the propaganda brainwash just the masses in the United States and the masses globally. And so it really, it hits me to my core when we do this show and we get to interact with everyone here and just all the videos, Ben, that you're getting up throughout the day and the Substack, just like how grateful I am for this community specifically here, the Midas Mighty, as we continue to report on just the absolute insanity of what's going on. Because look, they, the Trump regime, all of them, they want you to be They want you to be exhausted.

00:48:27

They want you not to care. But you guys are so hungry for the facts and the real information that's, that's out there. But, you know, you have to do some digging and researching to really get there. And I'm just so grateful that we could sort of put that together here.

00:48:39

Let me paint this picture for you once again. So imagine if rather than Donald Trump engaging in this horrible, unlawful war crime ridden war with Netanyahu in Iran. Imagine if Donald Trump, rather than inviting Putin to Alaska, rolling out the red carpet and making our troops quite literally bend down and kiss Putin's feet, or come very close to, to doing that. Imagine if rather than Donald Trump going to China and saying, oh, you look so strong, Xi, how strong are you? Imagine if Donald Trump supported our NATO allies. Just say we We support you.

00:49:19

Okay.

00:49:20

And then supported Ukraine. And then when Zelensky has succeeded in this counteroffensive without the US right now, and maybe that's one of the reasons why Zelensky has been so great is because everything Donald Trump touches turns to crap. So just being on the opposite side of that may be actually a motivating force. But imagine if Trump leaned into helping Ukraine and then took credit. Credit for the major advances of Ukraine in this invasion by Russia. And then the advances based on Biden's investments in Ukraine of all of this technological innovation. And now to rather than a $1.5 trillion defense budget, we may only need $500 billion because that's bigger than anywhere else in the world. But we could be getting so much of this technology with Ukrainian-American JVs, where now we're getting all of this equipment that you can make much cheaper rather than using $3 million, you know, Patriot or THAAD missiles. You can do $20,000 drone interceptors, or you can get $20,000, $30,000 drones and be far more effective rather than use these gigantic battleships that cost $20 billion Ukraine has demonstrated how you're able to just take down Russia's fleet with unmanned submerged vessels.

00:50:52

And so, and that then you could take credit— the same thing with the economy. Just as I said before, just American companies on their own, you know, we're making, we're making profits. Imagine if you double down on now working to actually help manufacturing, help, you know, I know rather than attack green new jobs, support them and then try to steal, like just even if you're looking at this selfishly and it would have bothered me so much, I'd be like, the guy's just stealing credit for Biden stuff. He's just stealing credit for it. But the country would have been doing good and I would have been like, yeah, but the country's doing good. He did the exact opposite of it all. So you'll remember in the Oval Office when Donald Trump was with Zelensky, I still remember it very very vividly. This moment will go down in history as I think one of the most prescient, most just incisive moments that defines so much of this failed Trump era and the decline of American power. Let's play this clip inside the Oval Office, February 2025. Let's play.

00:51:55

A lot of questions. Let's start from the beginning.

00:51:57

Sure.

00:51:57

First of all, during the war, everybody has problems. You, but you have nice ocean and don't feel now, but you will feel it in the future.

00:52:07

God bless. You don't know that. God bless. You're not blessed. You will not have war. Don't tell us what we're going to feel. We're trying to solve a problem. Don't tell us what we're going to feel.

00:52:16

I'm not telling you because you're in no position to dictate that.

00:52:19

Remember, you're in no position to dictate what we're going to feel. We're going to feel very good. We're going to feel very good and very strong.

00:52:29

You will feel influence.

00:52:31

You're right now not in a very good position. You've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position. And he happens to be right about it.

00:52:37

From the very beginning of the war, you're not in a good position.

00:52:40

You don't have the cards right now. With us, you start having playing cards right now. You don't have playing cards, Mr. President. You're playing cards. You're gambling with the lives of millions of people. You're gambling with World War III. You're gambling with World War III. And what you're doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country that's backed you far more than a lot of people said they should have.

00:53:06

Have you said thank you once this entire meeting? No, in this entire meeting, have you said thank you? You went to Pennsylvania.

00:53:13

So fast forward, fortunately fast forward that we've gone through a lot together and here we are still standing and fighting. But fast forward to the past 24 to 48 hours where Ukraine's been able to strike deep inside Moscow. The initiative on the battlefield has shifted. Ukraine has been able to not just hold its territory, but go on an offensive such that Putin had to beg Donald Trump to beg— Putin begging Trump to beg Zelensky to do a ceasefire for 2 weeks ago. The parade in Moscow. Please don't strike Moscow because Zelensky and Trump realize, uh, sorry, the Trump and Putin realize that Zelensky has the ability to strike in Moscow. He could have destroyed that parade if he wants to. And we showed you some of the images of what Moscow looked like over the past 48 hours with its critical infrastructure being destroyed, its oil depots being destroyed, destroyed and Zelensky hitting in Moscow. So here's what Zelensky said in the message this weekend. I did a whole video about it earlier in the morning, but watch what Zelensky said.

00:54:23

Now let's play it. Today, the Ukrainian Defense Forces, our security service, and our intelligence carried out a large-scale operation against the Moscow region, a solid wave of our deep strikes. We are ensuring Ukraine has this capability. The The distance to the targets this time was over 500 kilometers. This is significant, especially since the Moscow region is the most heavily defended by Russian air defense systems. Above all else, they are fiercely protecting their central seat of power. Yet despite their efforts, Ukrainian long-range strikes are already beginning to reach it. As I said yesterday, Russians need to think about their own oil refineries, their oil facilities, and their industrial sites, rather than how to ruin the lives of other nations in Ukraine, as such, Moldova, or any other neighboring country. Also, our Defense Forces have struck targets in the temporarily occupied territory over the past 24 hours, particularly in Crimea. And this long-range capability of ours is something that is significantly changing the situation and overall the world's perception of Russia's war. Many partners Partners are now signaling that they see what is happening and how much things have changed, both in terms of attitudes toward this war and the reach of Russian targets on Russian territory.

00:55:42

The war is quite predictably returning to its home port. And this is a clear signal that it is not worth messing with Ukraine and waging an unjust war of aggression against another nation, specifically Ukraine. Specifically against the people, right?

00:55:59

And so, as I said before, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, or snatching weakness from the jaws of strength. With what's taking place, right, if you're just a winner, or just selfishly you want to be a winner, right? Like, why wouldn't you just be like, yeah, look what we're doing, look how we're helping, look what we've been able to achieve, I'm gonna help the guy, I'm gonna help that guy, okay? But instead, what happened in the past 24 hours? Well, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant announced yet another extension of the United States lifting the sanctions for Russian oil, allowing Russia to sell its oil and freeing up, uh, or rather allowing Russia to make all this huge profit in order to fund its war machine against Ukraine. Ukraine. And remember what Bessin previously said after he lifted the sanctions the first time. When is this? Several weeks back or whatever. The first time he goes, don't— we will not be extending this again. Well, now it's the second extension of this, and that's what they're going to keep on doing. Trump always doubles down on losers. He finds a way. This is his whole life.

00:57:15

If you want to go back and say, why'd he bankrupt this? Why'd he bankrupt that, this Atlantic City, this company. He's a loser. He's a loser. And he always, like a magnet, finds the way to lose. And we're seeing it right there.

00:57:29

And you know what it's like? It's like if you think about it, this whole entire MAGA movement— and I'm not even just speaking here in the United States, I'm speaking about this global network of authoritarians that we see between people like Trump and Putin and the loser Viktor Orbán and all these folks— is that they have this crab mentality. Right? They are all losers and they want to pull people down into their loserdom. And we see that time and time again with everybody here, right? We see these Trump supporters who, uh, are getting destroyed by Donald Trump, right? Who are losing, uh, getting killed if they're farmers, who are, uh, getting, uh, you know, in manufacturing and are losing their jobs, whose factories are shutting down. Um, people in all various sectors who are just getting getting absolutely destroyed, people getting destroyed going to the supermarket and paying these insane prices for groceries. They just kind of succumb to this loserdom of this MAGA movement. They're just losers. Loser, loser, loser. That's what Donald Trump— that's kind of his big skill, right? Bringing, pulling people down into the depths with him and making them into the same mold of a loser that he is.

00:58:37

And we just keep on seeing this and it is absolutely pathetic. I mean, how wrong wrong was Donald Trump when you go looking at that clip of him and Zelensky and how accurate, how spot on, how prescient was Volodymyr Zelensky back then to say, this is going to happen one day to you. I am just warning you, just telling him the facts, right? Just telling him the truth and the level of how dare you say that. You can't say that to me. And then Vance jumping in like the loser he is, right? He's one of these people who have been brought down into this loserdom, right? Lifelong loser. J.D. Vance, a shapeshifter. Shifting loser. What we see is now Donald Trump just piggybacking on these losers, doubling down over again as the people who he fought continued to keep defeating him and winning. Their ideas are the ones that are actually standing the test of time, like Zelensky. It kind of reminds me actually the way MAGA behaved during COVID where they would get really mad by facts if you told them the truth, they would get furious at you, right? Remember, former President Biden at some point made a statement being like, if you're unvaccinated and you're going out, it's going to be a dark winter for you.

00:59:48

There's going to be a lot of people who are dying who are unvaccinated. So get the vaccination because you do not want that to happen. And they were like, is that a threat? Is he threatening me? How dare him? What does he say? So no, he's telling you the truth. He's trying to warn you actually about what's to come. Okay. You try to act like you're tough guys, right? You try to act like, oh, we're so alpha, we can handle it. Tell it like it is, right? Tell it like it is. But you don't care about anybody who tells it like it is. You want people to lie to your face. You want people to just feed you all of this bullshit while you eat it up. That's what you want. When we need people who are actually willing to stand up and tell the truth, whether you like the reality or don't like the reality.

01:00:31

Let's take our last quick break of the show. When we return, I do want to talk about this stock trading by Donald Trump, a new trade every 9 minutes, 3,800 trades in a month with companies like Dell, with companies like Apple, like with companies like Boeing, companies like Nvidia that Donald Trump has like dealings with. I mean, think about how many times he had Dell over, right? And there was like purchase, purchase, purchase, and then buying a lot of these exchange-traded that have components of other companies that he like has direct— has put the United States into like ownerships with, like Intel. This is a big deal. I mean, the people on CNBC, Jordy, who I know, you know, we're very critical of because of the way they've kind of changed that into like this MAGA show or MAGA adjacent— I think the MAGA show, they literally— when you have Jim Cramer was like, he started talking about it. And Jim Cramer, who's just, you know, a professional bullshitter and talker, He was just like blah-blah— he literally did that! I'm not exaggerating them but bluh-blah... Bla bla ba bah? And now, never seen on live TV before going to talk about that.

01:01:46

I want to talk what's going on this new fund Trump has announced: $1.776 billion dollars goes J6 insurrectionists or other people who claims had government money stolen from him by Democrats during 2020 election. Government weaponized against them under Biden. I mean, this needs to be challenged, obviously. I mean, this is one of the, the height of ridiculousness and, and I think illegality, in my opinion. And then you had JD Vance and Hegseth out there on the road. I'll show you what they were saying. Let's take our last quick break of the show. Hit subscribe, help us get to 7 million subscribers. I am recording from my in-laws' house. I love them.

01:06:28

You are glistening.

01:06:29

I'm glistening. It is like 95 degrees in the South right now. I love them.

01:06:34

I love—

01:06:34

very grateful, very grateful that I could record out of here.

01:06:37

Very—

01:06:37

it's like 95 degrees. I am struggling this episode, brothers.

01:06:42

You are glowing. I will say that. See?

01:06:44

Yeah.

01:06:44

So I'm not sick. It's just we're in a little bit of a steam room right now.

01:06:48

And that's okay. Jordy, why are you so nervous, man? Are you nervous?

01:06:50

I'm nervous.

01:06:51

Nervous, just feel like the word.

01:06:53

We could ask Jordy anything right now and it'll look like he's lying.

01:06:56

Like that. More important than my birthday, today's actually my wedding anniversary with my wife Sochi. So I want to say I love her, love you, and happy anniversary. And, uh, very important day, wedding anniversary, then birthday. We kind of do it, uh, back to back, right? Big week. Let's get into, uh, let's get into it. So stock stock trading, right? Remember all of the issues that we had with congressional stock trading, um, which rightfully so we need to call out and we need to ban. But in all of these congressional stock trading legislation that goes back and forth, these different drafts, the MAGA Republicans always want carve-outs for themselves that kind of render the whole thing useless. But there's always carve-outs for Donald Trump with MAGA, Right? He can do whatever he wants. And then we've always seen these very unusual and suspicious trades at massive volumes that happen right before or right after certain stories of Trump officials say, Trump officials do that, Trump officials do that. And then Donald Trump will go out and he'll say buy certain stock. Go out and buy Dell. They're great, Donald Trump said a few weeks back.

01:08:10

And then on news like that, Dell will shoot up 12%. You know, we've seen Intel, uh, since the US took a piece of it, go up. We've seen interesting and unusual bailouts of like Nvidia bailing out certain companies, and it turns out that— wait a minute— Trump owned the bonds of that company that got bailed out by Nvidia. That's, that's fascinating. And then you look at this chart right here that comes from a disclosure that Trump was required to make. When you're in the executive office, you have to— based on prior law, you have to make disclosures of your stock trades every quarter. And so the Office of Government Ethics then publishes it. Uh, they published it late, as always with Donald Trump, but we got to see the trades that were disclosed by Donald Trump. Trump, and there was like 3,800. That's basically right around what the number was. So that in, in the quarter, quarter one of 2026, that's just one quarter of trading. And so that means there's a transaction about every 9 minutes and 26 seconds. Like, stock traders using like quant technology don't trade at that flip. Like, this is trade, trade, trade, buy, sell, buy, sell, buy, buy, sell.

01:09:34

I mean, it's wild. And it's often buy, buy, buy, buy more, buy more, buy more, buy, sell, sell, sell, buy, buy, buy, dip, dip, dip, buy, buy, buy. And also, for those on audio, we're showing a chart. What also makes it unusual is that there was still, in my opinion, a lot of inappropriate trading going on in January '25, April '25, July '25, and October '25. 5, but there, but compared to the amount of trading that happened right around the lead up to the war in Iran and right after, I mean, it looks like the equivalent of, I'm sure if you're thinking about a chart of this graph, you know, it's like the equivalent of like a, like a 2-story building compared to like massive skyscrapers is where the bar chart goes vertical, right? Or showing the quantity of Donald Trump's stock trades right around and right after the war during certain moments where the news is— there's a deal, there's no deal, there's a deal, there's a no deal. And when you look at the disclosure, it's buying individual stocks like you see. There's purchasing Nvidia, there's purchasing Boeing, there's purchasing Netflix, there's purchasing Dell, there's purchasing of these things.

01:10:46

There's also exchange-traded funds.

01:10:49

ETFs.

01:10:51

There's like a Schwab fund, this fund, which kind of aggregates certain things and kind of package bundle, you know, stocks together. And there's different ETFs that are, you know, that trade along the NASDAQ or trade along S&P, right? And so there's that. And then there's another disclosure that deals with bonds, corporate bonds that earn interest, annual interest of, you know, anywhere from 5, you know, usually a little bit, these so-called junk bonds, which are usually higher than just your typical Treasury bonds, but anywhere from kind of 5% to like 8.5% up to 10% on the more riskier bonds. And then I looked at— there were some companies there that got like bailouts and unusual bailouts that Trump invested in certain bonds as well. There was, I think, an Nvidia bailing out a company, you know, who— where there were bonds. And I'm not saying— I'm not suggesting one way way or another Trump orchestrated this or anything. I don't want to make these suggestions or implications. I just simply want to say, I don't—

01:11:53

these—

01:11:54

this creates lots of conflicts of interest and lots of red flags. And then I saw, you know, Eric Trump say, no, we keep this all in a blind trust and we're simply buying ETFs, exchange-traded funds like Schwab. Well, I saw Schwab on there, but then I purchases of individual stocks as well. And I don't see any indication— and again, we— you could try to provide additional information, but I don't see any indication that a lot of this is subject to, or any of it is subject to, a blind trust. If you want to put forward evidence that, that shows that— but it seems that there were certain purchases that were— during my opinion, that were made around down critical events. And just that chart to me of Q1, January 2026, with this catastrophic war compared to all of the prior quarters, to me, this tells you the whole story when you watch that, which is why all of a sudden Q1 of 2026, right when the war starts, you become the most rapacious trader of stock. Like you literally turn the White House into, into like a stock trading ring. It's, it's, everybody should be, it should be a front page story all the time.

01:13:09

This should be impeachable in my view, just the conflicts of interest that get created in something like that. Again, I'm sharing with you my opinion, but you've got that. So let me pause there because that to me is a major, I'm not going to let that story just fade into the sunset.

01:13:23

Brett Jordan.

01:13:24

I'm sure, uh, you know, Trump probably just finished, uh, Stock Trading for Dummies around December and then just got, just got really good at it. Just really incredible. Come January, it's such a disgrace. And I, you know, I'll just give my opinion, you know, as well throughout this, and that's that this is one of the most corrupt things that we have ever seen in the history of this country. Um, I think it's absolutely shameful, and the same people who go on and on and on about Nancy Pelosi's stock trading are suddenly silent on this or okay with this. I think it should be okay to be bipartisan and be be against this sort of thing, no matter who it is, no matter if it's a Democrat, a Republican, a member of Congress, a member of Senate, a president of the United States, a judge. This should not be going on. And we need rules, in my opinion, to ban this sort of thing completely. The fact that these same people, uh, who have been going on and on and on about these issues, which is actually, in my opinion, this is a good issue to actually go for.

01:14:22

This is something that I think has broad bipartisan appeal. I agree with these MAGA people when it comes to banning stock trading from the halls of Congress 100%. But the fact that when Donald Trump does it, suddenly it's okay because it's your dear leader. I mean, it just shows that you actually don't give a crap about this at all. You just want to try to wield it as some sort of political weapon against your opponents. Be consistent here. And, you know, I think this will probably bring us to shortly into this, uh, the DOJ, uh, fund for the J6ers and the folks who were prosecuted by the Biden administration investigations, by the way, which I believe actually officially began during the first Trump administration. But Biden, they're saying that Biden weaponized the government, that they should never have went after these January 6ers, these patriotic protesters. And now Donald Trump, he's, he's dismissed his case against the IRS, the $10 billion case, because he's so generous.

01:15:21

Boris.

01:15:22

He's dismissing this $10 billion case. So shouldn't you be so happy that he's doing that? And instead what he's going to do is they're creating this DOJ slush fund that's $1.776 billion.

01:15:34

Get it?

01:15:35

1776. $1.776 billion that could be doled out to anybody who says that they were harmed by the Biden administration as a result of kind of January 6th prosecutions, whatever. It's kind of Donald Trump's and his former personal criminal attorney Todd Blanchard's money to give away. And I don't know how you could be like one of these Trump supporters who's earning like, I don't know, $20,000 a year, $30,000 a year. Inflation is absolutely crushing you like it is all of us, and you're cheering on the guy who's made billions and billions of dollars this term alone off the presidency. You're cheering on the guy who is, in our opinion, in my opinion, manipulating the stock market, making these incredibly shady trades and profiting to the tunes of millions, if not billions of dollars off that. You're cheering on the guy who is taking $1.776 billion of your money and giving it to his friends and his allies and people who attacked this country. It is unfathomable. And I cannot think of a greater scandal, quite frankly, in American history of this sort of crime ever, ever, ever, ever go down the list. This is worse than anything in modern American history, bar none.

01:16:50

Yet it's like maybe one headline one day and then it's on to the next thing. It's just, oh, that's Donald being Donald. This is absolutely reprehensible stuff we are seeing. We can never normalize it. We can never treat this in any way like it's okay.

01:17:07

Could you imagine if Biden, in his personal capacity, sued the government while he was the president for $10 billion? Okay, not only would he be impeached, I think he would be arrested on the spot. And I think we would all be cheerleading his arrest because that is patently unlawful and despicable. I don't care what he did, right? I mean, could you imagine they announced like, what, what did he do? He's suing the government for $10 billion because he's saying his feelings were hurt. That's what Donald Trump did. He sued saying that his taxes, which were always released by presidents in the past except for Donald Trump, were leaked by this contractor of the IRS, a guy named Littlejohn, who also leaked 7,500 other high net worth people's taxes in 2019 when Trump was in office. Trump says that injured him $10 billion. So does that mean the 7,500 other people have $10 billion cases? No, the whole case was phony, in my opinion. It was time barred. There's immunities that the federal government has, and this would go nowhere on a motion to dismiss. But the federal judge, Kathleen Williams, from the Southern District of Florida, where Trump filed it, she said, hey, Trump, hey, Treasury Department.

01:18:19

Trump, in the personal capacity, sued the Treasury Department, then bragged that he's already won the lawsuit because he set settling with himself. So the judge ordered, you need to let me know why this isn't a fraudulent, collusive settlement agreement. I want you to brief it. And the judge appointed 3 firms as investigators to basically help the judge understand if this was like a fraudulent, collusive case. So the briefing was due this week. Trump and the Treasury Department had to justify why they filed this law. Lawsuit. So instead of justifying it in front of the judge, they dismiss the case with prejudice and say, so now you don't have jurisdiction, Judge, even though we filed it here. Nothing you can do. And now we're entering a settlement extrajudicially outside of the court for $1.776 billion. So using the court as a kangaroo court when the judge was actually calling out the behavior and said, justify this, then Trump goes, I'm going to dismiss it now and then we'll enter the settlement. And now you don't have jurisdiction, Judge. So we'll see what the judge does because the case was still initially filed with the judge. So can the judge say, now I have serious concerns that you've used this court as a way to kind of launder this arrangement, which is improper.

01:19:44

I want to still know what happened in my court. I don't want to, you know, should there be sanctions applied? She should— what should the repercussions be? So we'll see what Judge Williams does there. But that was my big— one of my big callouts. And again, I view this on a bipartisan basis. I don't think it's an issue, which is, okay, you've now used the court, you've wasted our judicial resources, and now you refuse to go through the judicial process because this is an authoritarian regime. Then when you have people like Jeanine Pirro, the top federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C., the number one in D.C., right? You know, so she's asked, well, what do you think about this slush fund? What's your view about it? Here's what Pirro said.

01:20:29

Let's play it as quickly as possible.

01:20:32

And then given the weaponization announcement today, I just want to see if you think at all that the— I mean, taxpayer money, the weaponization announcement from, from the Anti-Weaponization Fund.

01:20:43

Do you think that taxpayer money going to other people who riot in the city? I don't know anything about this.

01:20:47

This is the, it's the settlement money through the Trump IRS settlement that they—

01:20:52

Yeah, I'm not involved in that.

01:20:53

You always ask these out of the, out of the, out of my lane questions.

01:20:58

What, what, why do you ask these out of the lane questions? You really, you don't know the Treasury Department is in your jurisdiction. They're the settling party, as is the IRS. And so you weren't involved.

01:21:17

You—

01:21:17

I know nothing. I don't know anything about it. And then you have— I mean, it's the old— this was Orbán's tactics. These are Putin's tactics. Then you have JD Vance realizing that the Trump regime can't run on the economy because the economy is terrible. They can't run on on, you know, affordability because people can't afford anything. And so their whole thing they're running on is we're going after the fraudsters. The reason things are bad is all of the fraud taking place. And we've got to get rid of the crazy leadership in Washington, D.C. We got to— so they're running a campaign against themselves, but framing it as we need to, we need to stop the real bad guys in D.C. You're the guys running D.C. DC. Watch JD Vance say, if you want to rebuild the American dream, you got to vote against this crazy leadership in DC. Let's play.

01:22:04

If you want to rebuild the American dream for the next generation, vote against the crazy leadership in Washington, DC.

01:22:13

Vote for—

01:22:13

Yeah. And then he says, when someone steals $1 billion from you, that's theft. That's what you just did. That's what the regime just did. $1.776 billion there, $1 billion they want for the Golden Ballroom, $1.5 trillion they want for defense spending while ripping away people's healthcare.

01:22:39

Here, play this clip.

01:22:45

When somebody steals $1.4 billion from the Medicaid program, that is theft from you, and that's theft from people who deserve to be able to go see a doctor. When people steal billions of dollars from the Medicare program, that is theft from you, and it's also theft from the people who use the Medicare program to pay their—

01:23:05

You're the people ripping away healthcare. You don't have a healthcare plan, which you promised 2 weeks, 2 weeks, 2 weeks, just like every 2 2-week death spiral that Trump gets everybody into. 2 weeks, we'll do this. 2 weeks, we'll do that. 2 weeks, we'll do this. 2 weeks, we'll do that. All BS. You're the con artists. You're the frauds. You're fraud, waste, and abuse. And then they have Hegseth, the defense secretary, though it pains me to say that. He goes to Kentucky, and in Kentucky, he's out there talking about how, uh, you know, how Thomas Massie is not loyal to Donald Trump, and we've got to We've got to elect this guy, Ed Galerine, who's running against Massey because Massey had the audacity of calling for the release of the Epstein files. Exposing a child sex trafficking ring has made him disloyal to MAGA. Now they send the defense secretary out there to become a partisan campaign tool, which was never the role of a defense secretary. And he says, look, we need people who just just who cheer on Donald Trump and vote whatever Trump wants. He literally says this. Watch what Hanks said, says while he's in Kentucky.

01:24:16

Let's play it now. Contrast that with what we've gotten from Tom Massie. At some point, being against everything becomes an excuse for accomplishing nothing. At some point, constant obstruction is not leadership, it's just commentary. It's obstruction. President Trump does not need more people in Washington who are trying to make a point, especially from his own party. He needs people willing to help him win, to vote with him when it matters the most. And too often, Thomas Massie has acted like his job is to stand apart from the movement that President Trump leads instead of strengthening it.

01:24:57

When President Trump needs backup, Massie wants Then, okay, wait, sorry, quick, one point before you go into it, Jordy, because this is what he says when he— I'll anticipate what you're going to say. You have the defense secretary actively campaigning. Is that where you're going to go?

01:25:13

Still my line. Yeah, that's what I was going to ask, because is it normal? Is that normal for the defense secretary to be actively campaigning?

01:25:18

Well, he watched the Putinesque, Orbánesque tactic of what he says. He goes, I just want to say, for all the lawyers out there wondering wondering why the defense secretary is out here doing this. Here, play this clip.

01:25:31

Uh, and it's an honor to be here with all of you. I have to say up front for the lawyers, uh, that I'm here in my personal capacity as a private citizen, a fellow American, and a fellow combat veteran, uh, here to support Navy SEAL Ed Gallagher.

01:25:54

For the audio listeners, he says it with just like this, the shit-eating grin, like the same way Jeanine Pirro said, next question, or however she ended. Like, they're so cartoonishly evil. Like, this Trump regime, it's really like it's outlandish and they're doing it in front of your face. Sorry, go ahead.

01:26:09

It goes back to what I was saying earlier, right? Like, the one thing about this Trump administration, this Trump regime, is that it has put the propaganda front and center because it could not be more obvious, but it's almost so obvious that it works on— dare I say, dumb people? I don't know. I'll let you be the judge, but it works on a—

01:26:26

what Trump says, right? Trump says, I love the poorly educated, or whatever that line is. That's what he says.

01:26:31

Not my words, but like, what is more obvious than this? What is more obvious than spending all your time— Trump is posting all day, post, post, post, post, post— attacking specifically the individuals who voted and pushed for the release of the Epstein files. That's what I would call a tell, right? What's the other thing that somebody like a Thomas Massie broke with Donald Trump on, right? And you have a headset there going, oh, we don't need someone who's an obstructionist who never votes with us. Massie's voted with Trump 91% of the time. And I want to be clear, I'm no Thomas Massie fan in general, okay? I respect what he did with the Epstein files. He's done a lot of crazy stuff, said a lot of crazy things about January 6th, which I think is reprehensible. This is not me agreeing with Thomas Massie, but I'm pointing out this right here. 91% of the time Thomas Massie votes with Trump. The things he doesn't vote with Trump on: Epstein, the war. He's against the war. He's against these war efforts. He calls it out. Um, and what more—

01:27:32

I like—

01:27:33

you couldn't paint the picture more than having like the literal representation of the military-industrial complex, the a Secretary of Defense going to the district to campaign against that person, right? It is the most obvious thing. And the fact that Trump is attacking Massey, that Trump is attacking Boebert, that Trump is attacking all of the people who agree with him on all of this stuff, mainly except for one, and that's the release of the Epstein files. I mean, you could not appear guiltier if you tried. If you tried. And the Vance stuff, it's just the most classic kind of representation of the idea of accuse those of what you are guilty of yourself, which is, which is a Freudian concept. It's a concept that was employed by Nazi regimes. And that's exactly what this, this Trump regime is doing right now. All of their kind of weaknesses, which are a lot, all of everything that they do, they simply doesn't even matter if it's on the same day at the same hour while this $1.776 billion, quote unquote, weaponization fund is being announced. Vance could go out and say anyone who steals over $1 billion from you is a fraudster.

01:28:53

I mean, those happen like basically simultaneously. And he says that without irony. And it's not a mistake. It's not an accident. It's the point. It's the psychological maneuvering that Vance is specifically using. It's a technique that dictators have used. So don't think, oh, this is just what a coincidence that he said that. No, it's not a coincidence that he is saying that. And it's not a coincidence that he is saying today it is part of the techniques of MAGA, the way they kind of brainwash people, the way that they deploy their propaganda.

01:29:25

And then that leads me to Jim Cramer on CNBC when he's asked by Carl Quintanilla, who's actually the kind of lone voice of reason on these panels. Wasn't even like Quintanilla, like, gave a difficult question. So, you know, isn't Trump also investing in these companies? Watch what Cramer does here. Let's play it. Yeah, yeah. Citi today takes it to $130. Yeah, but you know, the president, U.S. government got in.

01:29:52

He could sell it.

01:29:53

And yes, and according to the filings, the president's been trading some Intel in the quarter. Yeah, yeah.

01:30:01

Got nothing to say.

01:30:03

But yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:30:06

Well, yeah.

01:30:08

All right.

01:30:10

Don't worry.

01:30:11

We're not having technical difficulties here, everybody.

01:30:13

But we got to go.

01:30:14

Jim, we'll see you tonight. Mad Money, 6 p.m. Eastern Time. S&P 7433. Don't go away.

01:30:21

Hold on, hold on. They don't bail them out. I know you have to cut to commercial. I know you probably have— you know, you have to do things. You're corporate media or whatever. Whatever, don't bail him out. Let him speak. If he's going to be the MAGA guy, let him be the MAGA guy. If the other Jim is going to be the MAGA, let them be the MAGA. Let them answer.

01:30:39

Let me, let me slightly disagree with you. I think, I think he said plenty. I think he said it all.

01:30:44

I was watching this live and I took my remote and I threw my remote across the room because, again, this is just, this is, this is the daily occurrence on the show. It's a MAGA property.

01:30:55

Property.

01:30:56

In my opinion, it feels like a MAGA property at this point that, that like embezzles MAGA talking points to people. Yet when there's the slightest of pushback, the main MAGA vocalists go silent. Or, or cat got your tongue there, Jim Cramer? I mean, to me, that, that's why it's frustrating, Brett.

That was bonkers. And I'll just, uh, you know, piggyback off that and say shout out to Carl Quintanilla, who does an incredible job. You know, I think he's the only individual on that show right now who actually lives in reality. Um, and it's, it's sad that it's down to just him, but he does, he does a good job with, with it, with his reporting. But I mean, that's like, like, that's beyond parody. Him not even being able to say words, him just making noises. Like, it, it sounded like he was having a medical episode on the air, but he just could not get himself to dare speak out against Trump in this situation. It is just like, like, come on, people, what are you doing? What are you doing?

Episode description

On today’s episode of the MeidasTouch Podcast, Ben, Brett, and Jordy break down another stunning Trump retreat as he backs away from his latest military threat against Iran just as Tehran moves to formalize control over the Strait of Hormuz. The brothers also discuss mysterious explosions at key energy facilities in Venezuela, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates; Trump’s outrageous new scheme to funnel $1.776 billion in taxpayer money to January 6 insurrectionists; and the growing effort by Trump and parts of the media to manufacture consent for a potential war in Cuba. They also examine the geopolitical fallout from Trump’s failed trip to Beijing as Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin prepare for a major summit, while Trump ramps up threats against allies like Canada and Greenland. Plus, Volodymyr Zelenskyy turns the tables on Putin as Ukraine launches dramatic strikes on Moscow, and much more.
