Transcript of MAGA Mike Panics in Public Right before Election Day

Today's critical elections. Maga Mike Johnson was in panic mode this morning as he held a disastrous press conference. He continues to do these morning press conference humiliation rituals, which just make things worse for him and the Maga Republicans. We're now 24 hours before Tuesday's critical elections. Maga Mike Johnson and these Maga Republicans are a panicking. Let's take a look at what happened when Maga Mike Johnson was asked about Donald Trump's statements made on 60 Minutes where Trump says he doesn't know the individual who he pardoned, who's the a billionaire leader of a crypto exchange that pled guilty to money laundering involving Al Qaeda and Amas. Trump goes, Ready? I don't even know who CZ is. I don't even know who the person is that I pardon. Maga Mike Johnson once again says, I don't know. I don't know anything about that. What do you know then, Maggie Mike Johnson? You're supposed to be the speaker of the House. Here, play this clip.

Questions. Monu, you get it first every time. This is not fair.

Last week, you came here to these mics and you were very critical of Joe Biden's music, the autopand, pardon. He said he didn't even know when he was parting. The last time in 60 Minutes, President Trump admitted not knowing he parted in crypto earlier, guilty to money laundering.

Does that also concerning me? I don't know anything about that. I didn't see the interview. You have to ask the President about that. I'm not sure.

Then what Mike Johnson goes on to say, he goes, But the thing with the Democrats that everybody needs to know is there's such a staggering amount of gaslighting and false information. Projection much? You mean all of these press conferences that you do every single morning? Here, play this clip.

To go through just a couple of important facts. There is such a staggering amount of gaslighting and false information that Democrats are engaging in right now.

Then mega Mike Johnson has the audacity to say, Everybody, guess what? The Republicans have been the party for health care. He goes, You know that budget bill we did? He goes, The big, beautiful budget bill that's made health care more How great is everything right now? He goes, We fixed health care with the budget bill. You mean the disastrous budget bill, which gutded people's Medicaid, which took out $200 billion from rural hospitals? Is that what you're referring to? Here, play this clip.

Republicans are the ones fighting to save health care. Why? It's not just talking points to us. We do this. We have ideas, and we have already implemented ideas and measures to reduce costs, increase access and quality, and eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse. Now, why do we say it's not just a talking point? Why do we say the Republican Party is the only one advancing common sense reform solutions? Because we've proven it. We did that in the Big Beautiful Bill, the Working Families Tax Cut. We took a look at Medicaid, and we took on that challenge. We took action to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicaid. We got able-bodied young men without dependents off the program. We got illegal aliens off the program. We saved $185 billion just to start. We got millions of ineligible enrollees off the program, and it preserved it. It strengthened Medicaid for the people who rely upon it, which is the elderly, disabled, and young pregnant women, as we always use in an example. No, it's not about health care. That is a false claim, and everybody knows it. Everyone in America, and certainly everybody in this room, understands that this is about something else.

Then Megan Mike Johnson goes on to say, And it's the Democrats have created this problem. They came up with the Affordable Care Act, so let's blame them. What we need to do, Mike Johnson, right now is extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies because by and large, the Affordable Care Act is popular because it gave 20 million Americans' insurance who didn't have insurance in the first place. Does it need to be fixed? And can we make it cheaper? I think there should be more subsidies. I believe we should have universal health care. I believe it's a human right. I believe it should be made free by the government. I believe we should tax the rich. But you and Trump, you don't have any plans at all other than you want to rip away health care from 20 million Americans and rip away Snap benefits from 42 million Americans. But go on, Maga Mike. Let's hear you wine. Here, play this clip.

Let me go to the third one. False Claim number 3, Democrats are fighting for health care. You've heard this over and over and over. Let me say something very simply about this false claim. It is the Democrats who created Obamacare. It is the Democrats who did that without any Republican It's the Democrats who, by extension, have caused the American taxpayers and people who have health insurance have made their costs skyrocket. It is their policies that made that happen. Instead of reforming it, the Democrats don't reform Obamacare. They want to subsidize it. They want to spend more tax period dollars. That, by the way, goes mostly to insurance companies, which makes the cost rise further. That's the Democrats' plan.

All these MAGA Republicans do every morning is just get up there and wine. It's so utterly pathetic. You want to stop the government shutdown that you're creating? Well, it's open enrollment period for Affordable Care Act plans, and Americans are getting their letters right now. They're seeing that their health care costs are going to jump $20,000 to $30,000 a year, Mike. So why don't we correct that? Why don't we give people these Affordable Care Act subsidies that they've had before? And then why don't we actually come up with a plan and figure out ways to make it cheaper? But you don't have a plan. But then Mike goes, Oh, let Let me explain to you what's really happening. Donald Trump is the courageous one who wants to save everybody's Snap benefits and their food stamps. Trump's trying to save it. No, quite the contrary, Mag and Mike. Democratic attorney generals and Democratic groups had to go into court to force the Snap payments to be made from the contingent or emergency fund, which is supposed to be used for this purpose that MAGA Republicans and Trump did not want to use to starve people to death.

And in fact, the remaining money in Snap in general should paid out regardless of the contingent and emergency funding. But Donald Trump and you and others want to use Snap as a way to starve people to death, and you think that's politically advantageous to you. Here's what MAGA Mike says. Let's play this clip.

The President is desperate for Snap benefits to flow to the American citizens who desperately rely upon it. He has bent over backwards, as you know, to get the troops paid, to keep WIC funding going. Now, more for Maggie Mike here. And Maggie Mike starts talking about the filibuster and how Donald Trump wants to kill the filibuster. But Maggie Mike says, But the issue is if we kill the filibuster, then what happens when Democrats want to make Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico a state? And what happens when the Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court from 9: 00 to 13: 00, 15: 00 to 17: 00? Judges, is what Maggie Mike says. Here we play this clip.

What would the Democrats do if they had no a filibuster impediment, no speed bump at all. They've already told us they would pack the Supreme Court. You'd go from 9: 00 to 13: 00 or 15: 00 or 17: 00 or however many liberals they can pack on the court. You would have DC and Puerto Rico be made into states, which would give four additional Democrat senators there in the count and make us a permanent minority. I guess that would be their calculation. You would see massive restriction of the Second Amendment rights. You'd see them federalize elections so they could take over and manipulate things in the red states. I mean, a lot of abuses that could come.

Now, just moving away from Mag and Mike for a moment, can we just take a look at what some real Americans are saying who are the ones being starved by Donald Trump, the ponds, the American people as Donald Trump's doing his great Gatsby-themed parties. A Little Party, Never Killed Nobody was the theme as they have their dancers, whatever the hell was going on there. Let's show you what real Americans are going through. Well, I'm pretty stressed out, and I have to decide whether to put gas in my car or buy something to eat today.

What does that like for you when you wake up in the morning and realize that those are the choices you're making?

I mean, I just feel like no matter how hard I'm trying to come up in the world, it just doesn't matter. I just keep getting held down. I just need a little leg up. I'm five years in recovery hungry, and I've gone to school, I've done all these things, and I'm trying to work, and I'm trying to open a business, and I just need a little more help, and I can't get it. And so if I'm going through this, I can only imagine those families that can't work, the families that have all these children that are going hungry right now.

Yeah. And you were telling me in the break before this that you had just gotten back on Snap benefits about a month ago. Tell us how much your normal monthly Snap benefit is, and how much do you have to go until the next payment comes through, hopefully soon.

It's like $2. 92 a month, and that's gone already. Last month, I didn't get the full amount because it wasn't for the whole month. But that goes really, really quickly. And with my situation, it's hard to just plan out meals real well. So I do the best I can, but it definitely runs out before I get more.

Why do you need it? Yes, I need it because I work as a to teacher assistance, so my income is not that much great than an average teacher assistance. I only get paid according to the day that I work or and I'm only allowed to work 7. 25 hours, and I don't get paid overtime, and I don't get paid when the students are out of school. So therefore, my to food. My Mitek is only covering rent, bills, and the uptake of my children. My husband also is permanently disabled, and he retains monthly social security benefits. So therefore, with the combined income, it's not enough to cover the cost of food for that month. So I rely on Snap benefits to provide food for my house so that me, my husband and my children would be able to to be able to eat. With this mess that's going on within Washington and Trump and Republicans and the Democrats, it's really impacted me and other people like me who are in the same position that I'm in.

By the way, while Maga Mike was doing whatever the hell you want to call that humiliation ritual routine he does every morning, I want to give a shout out to California Governor Gavin Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. I'm just saying, not just first lady vibes in California, but first lady vibes in general. I think this is a powerful speech that she gave that I just wanted to show you because it stands in perfect contrast to the cruelty and the lies and just the evilness that we see with the Republican press conferences. And I will tell you right now, I will not raise my children to think Donald Trump is an acceptable American leader, nor that he is what the leader of our great country should behave like. I won't raise them to think his terror enables his power and that his greed equals success. He is the exact opposite of what real strength looks like. In our house, Gavin and I will continue to teach our kids what strength really looks like. If you see someone sitting alone at a table, you invite them to your table. If you see someone being bullied, you speak up and ask an adult for help, and you always, always tell the truth. Maybe if Donald Trump's parents had taught him any of these lessons, we wouldn't be in this mess. On the contrary, Trump is enriching his immediate family and cronies. He is stripping away our rights and our democracy. When he knows he's going to lose, he cheats. When the game isn't rigged for him, he rigs it himself. Sometimes no is a full sentence, trust me. That's right. But Donald Trump's never accept a no for an answer. He's a con artist, a predator, a malignant in chief and the worst president in our nation's history.

Again, I did a video earlier on this today, but it's worth noting, again, you take a look at the latest CNN polls. Did Donald Trump's policies improve the economy or worsen the economy? 61% of Americans say he's made the economy worse than under former former President Biden, and those numbers under former President Biden were much better than Donald Trump's numbers as well. In terms of overall approval, disapproval, Donald Trump's disapproval rating is at 63% on the CNN poll. That's the highest it's ever been on the CNN poll for Donald Trump in his first two terms, even higher than following the January sixth insurrection. Only 37% of Americans approve Donald Trump's behavior. In a generic ballot, if Americans were asked, Who would you vote for tomorrow for control of Congress? 47% of Americans say Democrats, 42% say Republicans. That's what we have right now, folks.
