Juli abgeben. Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an 8-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today we are destroying an emotional block that keeps incredibly smart people permanently stuck: the liability of pride. Because let's be real, If you are hemorrhaging cash and losing clients, but you refuse to ask a mentor for advice because you want to look like you have it all figured out, your ego is going to bankrupt you. Let's break down why vulnerability is a tactical advantage. First, understand that isolation is the enemy of perspective. Too many entrepreneurs view asking for help as an admission of defeat. They think the CEO is supposed to have all the answers. That is a massive illusion. When you are inside the jar, you cannot read the label. If your sales process is broken, staring at your laptop in an empty room for 12 hours will not fix it.
Whether you are dealing with a supply chain crisis or a leadership failure, keeping it a secret protects your pride but destroys your equity. If you hide your flaws, you kill your business. Second, you have to realize that the giants in your industry want to help operators who actually execute. People do not ignore you because you ask for guidance. They ignore you if you ask and then do absolutely nothing with it. So instead of pretending everything is perfect, reach out to someone 5 steps ahead of you. Present your exact bottleneck and ask for the specific framework to solve it. Make your extreme coachability your most attractive networking trait. Lastly, dropping the mask collapses your timeline to success. When you leverage the expensive mistakes of other elite founders to bypass your own learning curve, you move at light speed. Radical humility, a willingness to be corrected, and rapid implementation create an unstoppable force. When you stop trying to look smart, you finally start getting rich. Bottom line, your pride pays zero dividends. Drop the ego, ask the hard questions, and absorb the strategy. Because when you do, you will overcome obstacles faster than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast.
I'm Paul Alex reminding you that the smartest person in the room is the one willing to ask for directions. Stay humble, find the answers, and as always, keep leveling up. Pride does not protect your business.
It can quietly bankrupt it.
In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why asking for help is not weakness, but one of the strongest tactical advantages a founder can use.
Let’s be real…
If your business is bleeding cash…
Your sales process is broken…
Your team is struggling…
And you still refuse to ask for guidance because you want to look like you have it all figured out…
Your ego is costing you money.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
Why isolation destroys perspective
How pride keeps founders stuck in avoidable problems
Why asking for help can collapse your learning curve
How humility, coachability, and fast implementation create serious leverage
The truth is simple:
The CEO does not need to have every answer.
The CEO needs to find the answer fast.
Sometimes that means asking a mentor.
Sometimes that means getting corrected.
Sometimes that means admitting you do not know what you are doing yet.
And that is not failure.
That is leadership.
High-level operators do not protect their pride at the expense of the company.
They seek perspective.
They ask better questions.
They learn from people five steps ahead.
They implement immediately.
Because the fastest way to avoid expensive mistakes…
Is to learn from someone who already paid the price.
Drop the ego.
Ask the hard questions.
Absorb the strategy.
And keep leveling up.
