Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
Oh, welcome in. $100 richer.
You and me both, brother.
Yeah.
Well, welcome in Friday, October 2nd. Andy, Mike, and Jason, the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
What a game though.
It was a great game.
It was a great— I mean, it was— we did not expect a Browns-Steelers great game.
I'm going to tell you a secret. I don't always watch every minute of every game.
You don't.
But I did watch every minute of last night's game.
That's, that's—
To see the angriest quarterback on earth.
Oh man.
With the angriest head coach on earth.
What a delight he is.
There was incredible action. Jason, I believe, conceded.
Oh, he conceded. It was real early.
After the first quarter?
No, no, no. So the Steelers scored first and then the Browns scored.
Wait, it was a 3 and out and then the longest drive in the history of the world.
So then the Browns, they scored. And when the second Browns score happened, Jason sent me $100 right then.
I knew very—
And then I think hedged his bet.
I knew very early. I mean, it was very clear. It was like after that first drive, 2 drives were over, the Browns and that crowd and the, just the vibe of everything. I was like, oh, there's, there's no chance. So I go and I make a very large bet on the Browns, send you the money. Yes. And then get scared at the end.
Well, see, here's the problem. Jason does this frequently where he sends me the money of a bet very early because he knows that if he ends up winning the bet, I've got to double the money coming back. And it's very annoying. Like for part of the game, I go, oh, I just got to send him his $100 back. I'm like, wait, no, that makes this even. I'd have to send him another $100. Last 2 weeks we've bet $100 and I'm $200 richer.
So we should do this more often.
We should do this more often and just hedge them. 27-24. Look, say what you want about Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers. One of these guys had more fun last night. One of these locker rooms, if you saw Todd Monken in the locker room, it was— they called him Chill Parcells. I mean, it— I like the nickname.
All right.
But you're 3-1 and you're 3-1.
The vibes were, the vibes were very high. It's just like the celebration at the end.
The camaraderie.
I mean, they were like, yeah, that was cool to see. That was a team. And it's like, dude, I mean, I'm happy for the team.
I'm happy for the fans.
There's so many guys on that team that are fun. They're fun players. Yeah. And the fans.
Mike probably lost, but no, of course not. This was, I saw something online before their last week's victory. ticket prices for this game were, were just so low. They, you could just get them for free. And then it turns out after they won last week and you got a primetime game, it was like the cheapest ticket was $240. This, the city was like all in and the Browns fans, they have just cared through all the crap. And so it's, it's nice to have them have some wins and, and they've, like Mike said, yeah, they've got Voldemort. They also have a Bunch of really great dudes over there that we, you know, I mean, we all love.
I mean, Denzel Boston is the dude. He's the dude.
Yeah. He looks like the real deal.
Fannon got into the end zone again. Judkins got into the end zone. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hey, Judkins?
Oh, I'm sorry. Junkins.
Junkins.
Junkins.
Man, when I heard it the first time, who was it? It was Kirk Herbstreit.
Yes.
So, so Al Michaels, all of 99 years old of Al Michaels, can pronounce this man's name normally. And I heard it the first time. I'm like, that's funny. I'm like, Junkins, Junkins is funny. Then I, then I hear it a second time and I start talking about it on Slack and then it's, then it's every time.
Yeah.
Always.
I think like there was a collective of the entire world like, huh? Okay. He said it wrong the first time.
Yeah.
No, he's, he's definitely saying Junkins.
He's saying Junkins.
Are you guys, you guys are hearing what I'm saying?
I'm hearing Junkins. Yeah.
Did I catch a Junkins? And Junkins, 17 for 53 and 1. And then Mike starts throwing out the Junkin' Jono.
Yeah. America runs on Junkins.
Cleveland runs on Junkin'.
Oh man.
In our Slack. And I'm like, I think it's funny enough. So I threw that on Twitter. And then someone on Twitter got to the Junkin' Jonuts joke, which I had already made. And I was like, okay, so we're not too deep.
This is what we're made for here.
Yes.
Yeah. And Jaylen Warren, big game. Hey, DK Metcalf, 5 for 115.
Yeah.
And was actually open. I mean, this is the weird thing about Metcalf is that every week you get this amount of targets. You get 9 to 10 targets every week. I also think the Roman Wilson thing is happening and Michael Pittman is, I mean, you might as well drop him in a dynasty league. I mean, this dude sucks. He caused an interception. He didn't run under the route.
He didn't cause the interception.
I think he was supposed to go underneath that route.
But his arm was hit on the throw and the ball was in a different spot than what it should have been.
The one on the sideline? The interception I'm talking about is when it was an out route and Denzel Ward picked it off.
I don't remember who picked it off, but I didn't— I do remember at first at one point thinking, oh, he's going to be mad at Pittman and then watching and seeing the arm get hit.
Al would like me to let you know, don't actually drop him in your dynasty leagues. But I bet if you did, it wouldn't matter.
A reminder, he has a bad foot right now. I believe he has the—
And what are these called?
Well, the mitts.
Yeah.
I'm just saying when you're running it. Look, you've had plantar. You know what it feels like.
That's true. Is that what he has?
Yeah. So he's, he is dealing with that. Look, you're a professional wide receiver. You got to go out there and you got to make it happen. Just say he's, he is not 100%, nor will he be 100%.
I think Eli went through that at one point in time.
Yes, he did.
Yeah. I remember that. That's, that's, that's painful. All right. I'll give him a break.
He's 28. So he should get back to form.
What's wild is like, this is the second straight game Rodgers has been over 280 yards. And had 3 touchdowns.
If you started Aaron Rodgers in fantasy, you were thrilled. I mean, he's going to be probably a top 5 fantasy quarterback or near it. And that's disgusting.
I was happy to see Junkins get into the end zone. That was a big deal.
He really needed—
I mean, he also caught 6 passes.
That is everything because honestly, 17 for 53 is like you're bailed out by the touchdown. 17 for 53 is not a good fantasy football game. But the fact that you got 7 targets and then converted it into 6 for 43 and your quarterback is actually—
He seems good.
He's, he's, he's competent.
He's playing well.
He's playing well enough to like make these rookie wide receivers exciting.
It's the wildest turnaround of what he was putting on the field for 2 straight years, which was, he was, you could watch and be like, this is the worst quarterback.
Yeah. That was not debatable. And it's like, you could be here if it was a neutral situation, you'd be like, Well, this dude, he's coming back from an Achilles. I'm not surprised. Yeah, it's not, I'm not surprised it took a couple games, but then you had the compounding effect of like how bad he was before the injury.
Yeah.
So I didn't think we'd be here.
No, no, definitely not. So it like Denzel Boston is, this is so exciting of a player that, you know, on our dynasty pod, when you're trying to hit on prospects, it could be very difficult. And Denzel Boston, one in particular, was like, I feel like Jason, we both had the same take. If you're like, this is not going to, this doesn't work. His, like his archetype, his skill set. Like we've seen it. It doesn't work. And yet I'm just compelled. I'm in on the talent of Denzel Boston. He feels like a player that can work. Then he goes to the Browns and you're like, oh God. Okay. Never mind. That is completely toast. But he looks like their true wide receiver 1 over the first round pick.
He does seem like the, especially for fantasy purposes, even if the targets like in this game, 7 to 8, Concepcion had more targets, but for fantasy purposes, the, the type of targets, the utilization, the downfield, the tackle breaking.
Could have had a lot more. I mean, he had a couple of drops.
Well, yeah, drops or just not catching.
And Jerry Jeudy just appearing every once in a while on this offense is very funny to me, just out of nowhere. And he gets all hyped. He was so proud. He took a little crossing route 6 yards and then he's like—
It was a, it was a big catch in the moment, but it was like, oh, there you are.
It was a good game.
It was.
And the Browns are leading the division.
Jerry Jeudy. This is, this is the best news in the world. Jerry Jeudy played 37% of snaps. You had Concepcion and Boston playing 92% and 95%. That's their future. That's how they're playing. That's what I think everybody, you know, sometimes like we're like, why aren't coaches doing this? You know, the fallacy of good coaching. It doesn't always happen, but it's like, yes, this is the way. And it's nice to see him do it and succeed.
Yeah. And on the other side, Roman Wilson looks good in the slot. Like he had a seam route. It was a good pass. More opportunities coming for him.
Also, Jaylen Warren has been awesome. I feel like if they had, Tackle-breaking machine. Yeah. I mean, he's just been so good.
Look at all these players we're talking about in this game.
It was fun.
Look at that. It was a really fun game.
It was a good time.
And it came down to the wire.
Yep. And guess what, Jay? It's also Friday.
Oh.
Foot Clan Friday.
Every Friday we give a $100 gift card away to fantasychamps.com. This week's winner from the Foot Clan community is, uh, St. Olaf 1987. St. Olaf 1987.
Okay.
Congratulations. You are this week's winner. Thank you for supporting the podcast over there at jointhefoot.com. Let's talk news.
News and notes from around the league.
Did you guys see this thing in Deucers Alley? That is some breaking news. Yesterday there was kind of a lighting malfunction. Do you remember that?
Yeah.
For part of the show. And unfortunately, We had to have a real serious conversation around here. And Jason, I can see you're almost tearing up.
Yeah.
But we had to let Josh be the big dog.
We put him in the captaincy.
We put him in the captaincy.
You got demoted.
Yeah. He's the William Riker role now. We've got— are you doing okay with all this, man? I mean, I know we kind of keep things public and—
I hate you.
You know what? You know what? I think you're right. I actually feel bad now. Why don't you go on like a cruise for like a week?
You know what? As soon as this show's over, I'm out of here.
All right. All right. So Papa Josh in the driver's seat today. And yeah, you're more like the pilot, like when they do the pilot's training that's in there just in case something goes wrong. Yeah. Or like the driver's ed. I got the steering wheel over here. You have a brake over there?
Just in case of emergency. Yeah.
Does it throw Josh right out the door? Yeah. It's an eject button.
His foot's real tired already.
All right. The Commanders officially ruled out Jayden Daniels for week 4. Mike, I kind of surprised you yesterday when I was like, he hadn't been ruled out and they were talking about him possibly playing, but he's not going to play this week. He's wearing a brace. He is not going to get surgery right now.
Which, I mean, I don't know what has happened out there in like casual leagues, but I can tell you that in our chopped league, our— well, it was 18. What are we down to now?
16. 15.
One of y'all nerds dropped Jayden Daniels and I got him for like a decimal percentage of that.
When did this happen?
This week.
Oh gosh.
So I scooped him up.
That's wild.
Make sure he's not on your waiver wire. He might be.
Jason mentioned Rashad White. The injury might be worse than we think. He's still not practicing. Ekeler was signed if we didn't mention that. So Rashad White is not looking great. DeAndre Swift, this is wild. Added to the injury report on Thursday, knee injury, didn't practice. Manungai is practicing in full.
Yeah. I mean, this is humongous because, yeah, Manungai could be a fantastic start this week if Manungai is by himself.
Yep. I mean, he's very capable.
Yeah. Very, very capable against the Jets at home. I mean, I would expect a top 10 fantasy game.
Manungai by himself over Braylon Allen in the same game?
For sure. I would take the better offense, the better offensive line.
I think that, I think that's close, but I probably would if I had both of those guys.
My God. Jayden Daniels for $5 in a $1,000 budget. Um, no, no, no. All right. Bucky Irving remained limited on Thursday. This is probably going to be okay. I think Bucky's going to play. The matchup is pretty okay. But you know, there was talk this week about limited. I mean, not pretty okay. It's really okay. Green Bay can't play defense against anybody.
Correct.
But you have an undrafted free agent making his first career starts.
Yeah. And you don't know what the checkdown situation will be. That was where Bucky was making a lot of hay in the receiving game. You also had conversations this week. Lies is another way to put them about Sean Tucker getting heavily involved.
Oh, that's right.
Yeah. But that man, nobody, nobody's been talked about getting involved more than Sean Tucker over the last 5 years.
Yeah. His career is being talked up. I mean, and deservedly so because when, when he gets the ball, he does great things. Now don't give it to him.
Right.
So weird.
But, but he's all Tucker talk.
Oh, nice. And Bucky's butthurt. So nice.
We are on perfect form. And I attribute this to our lead producer, Papa Josh. All right. Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua remained limited on Thursday with the hip and groin. Terrence Ferguson did not practice. He's not going to play. Parkinson's not going to play. I am, I'm still If you ask me how scared I am.
How scared are you?
The most scared.
You're the most scared?
I'm the most scared because I've said this. I'm not doing a thing trade-wise with Puka until this week is over. He might be completely fine. I just believe that what he's dealing with is a high risk of showing itself this week. Now, if he makes it through the week, I'll feel great. But this particular week, I am scared.
Yeah.
I mean, and I wouldn't be trying to pick him up on the cheap just yet.
The expectation is that he's going to play right now. He's not practicing in full, but that's what's being reported is he's expected to play. That's not a guarantee yet.
It's listed hip slash groin, man.
Which is usually a core muscle injury, a fear of sports hernia and the surgery with that. We've talked about this a lot. I'm on the side and this is a huge risk, but I feel like if you could trade cheap for Nkua or, you know, it won't be cheap.
So are you willing to trade medium?
It's a league-winning bet.
Exactly. I'm willing to take that chance. And it sucks because you're, you know, if, if it works, like let's say it hits, you make a medium bet and you trade a good player, you know, that, that can nab him.
Drake London.
No.
If, I mean, if Garrett Wilson.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Garrett. Oh man. Garrett Wilson's a great example. I mean, I love Garrett Wilson. He's a mighty guy.
I don't want to put names to it because I want the gravity. I want the gravity to be there.
Yeah.
I mean, it's a heavy bet.
If Justin Jefferson.
If I could turn like a, I think the tier like space. Like if you could turn Teterow, McMillan and something or, or Tee Higgins. Tee Higgins is great.
Here's what I don't think anybody will do that because I think anybody that drafted him, drafted him in the top 5, top 6, and they're waiting to get their return on investment.
And they now have news that he's practicing.
I think it takes a Drake London or a Garrett Wilson. I think that's the way. I think you could persuade somebody to stop dealing with that problem of not knowing. Now, my theory, speculation, personal opinion is when you get a sports hernia or core muscle It's not season ending. Puka can come back, but the more you delay surgery, the longer it takes. Obviously they have playoff and Super Bowl aspirations. I look at this week as like, they're like, dude, rubber's meeting the road now, man. Like you get out there. If you feel good and we're ready to go, let's just go. But it's time to draw a line in the sand. If it doesn't go well this week, have surgery, have surgery, get, come back, come back in 4 to 6 weeks. I don't, I think that's the time.
8 weeks.
I think it would probably be 8 weeks, but I mean, that's, that's fine for the Rams, but not for fantasy.
And part of the problem is, is like Puka has had and dealt with injuries that have lingered or, you know, it's not been, he's not what he was injury prone-wise, but I just am concerned and it is a big bet. So there you go. We think he'll play. Breece Hall, not playing. So we'll get the, and then Kenyan Tadeek dealing with a back injury, limited on Thursday. We expect him to play.
We hope he's playing because A.D. Mitchell and Mason Taylor are also not playing. You've got the same great opportunity that Sadiq took advantage of last week as well as good matchups. So yeah, I really hope that, really hope Sadiq's fine.
You want to hear something bad?
No.
No. Okay.
Then I'll tell you the good news. Nico still limited on Thursday, but maybe he comes back. All right. The bad news. DeVonta Smith. The Eagles are planning to play without him. And I've heard maybe more than one week.
I've seen the reports like he is not been ruled anything as of right now. It's just everything that the reports are, they're preparing to play without.
And there, there, there is another big piece of news and I'm going to talk about it now, not later, in case you, you know, you dip out of the show at some point. Ladd McConkey. Ladd McConkey has injured his foot. He was seen limping out of the locker room. He missed practice. He has a foot injury. You might ask yourself, is the foot also the ribs? No, those are different. And his ribs? were the ones that were hurt.
I mean, we can work it there.
Yeah. I mean, if you, if you kick somebody in the ribs, your foot will hurt and their ribs will hurt. But he's got both injuries now. This is just—
you're my guys, man.
They're all dead.
The only one that wasn't dead was Ladd.
Ladd was the one that's like hanging on by a rib.
Yeah.
And now it's like, no, we're not going to— we're going to go foot now. So Stribling. Ladd, Caleb, Alec Pierce, my fantasy MVP, all cooked.
It's impossible.
It's just irritating. It's just the worst.
Yeah.
So there you go. DeVonta Smith, you know, we can, we'll have start-sit questions with Dontavian Wicks, Mekhi Lemon on the, on the segment today. And then Mike Evans still not practicing. We'll see.
And Travis Achane Jr. placed on IR with his hamstring injury.
Yep. So far, I don't know, causation, correlation. So far, ETN has been better than Achane.
Yeah. No, you're not wrong.
ETN Jr. better than Achane Jr.
The change has not been successful for him. Not his bank account.
No, his bank account did well with the Achane stuff.
I feel like he signed that as ETN though. It was after he got that money.
Okay.
No, I accept your point.
That he was like, hey, now I'm going to have a press conference to tell people it's Achane. It's like, oh, is it? You're on IR.
So, oh man, we are doing well today.
How dare you tell people how to pronounce your name?
If you put— did he put a Florida— what is that thing called?
Junkins. Florida Lee.
Florida Lee. Did he put that next to Junkins? Junkins is outrageous, man. And it is now Cleveland. All I shall call him.
Michael was trying so hard to correct him. Like every time he would say Junkins, he'd be like, yeah, Judkins. Judd Kins— Junkins.
Junkin' Jonuts.
Junkin' Jonuts.
All right, we're taking a break. We got the forecast and the rest of these matchups.
Fantasy Forecast presented by PrizePicks.
I feel like he's doing the The bit, the why am I talking? Why? What way?
What way? And then he came out at halftime and did it again, right?
Oh, it was Junkins the whole time.
How did we not fix it at halftime? That's like, that's a big deal.
Because they're like, Kirk, it's Judkins.
You know what someone told me?
That's what I'm saying. Junkins.
That's exactly what it was.
What are you talking about? Yeah. No, I know.
Yes. Junkins. I'm hitting the deep. Junkins.
I think Herb Street's an Ohio State guy. So this should be, he said Junkins for years is what I figured out. But somebody did point out, they said, I'm glad you guys noticed that. But throughout the entire history of your show, Andy's been saying Tyler Lindenbaum instead of Linderbaum. I learned that last night.
Oh, okay.
So we fixed it. That one person that wrote me, you're very happy right now.
Like with Achane, like when we get corrected, we try to fix it.
Yeah.
We don't have someone say it the correct way into our face. So we're like, yeah, I'm saying that.
Remember Jason with Charlie Kolar?
You know?
Remember Jason with McDaniels and—
oh gosh, that was hard.
Matchups we covered yesterday. Colts-Commanders, that's the London game. Patriots-Bills, Jets-Bears, Jags-Bengals, the catfight. Cardinals-Giants, Rams-Eagles, Packers-Buccaneers, Titans-Ravens, Cowboys-Texans. That's 6 more matchups.
Worth noting, we covered the Bears game yesterday, but Schefter this morning is saying he thinks he doesn't have news because it's all secret, but he believes it's going to be secret agent man.
Yeah, I saw that as well at the quarterback position. Well, they're trying to keep it secret, but then they said all the first team reps are going to him.
Yeah. Well, then that's not a secret. I mean, if all the first— if we know all the first team reps are going, they're going to the starter.
That's what we're going to fake right. No, it's hard to think about thinking about fake right.
It's ultimate confidence in yourself versus like your system and the plays and the practice versus not coming back. I mean, Case Keenum was dominant. So it's just hard for me to see them not I mean, we like, we like CeeDee Bagent, man.
We've always thought he was good. They've paid him to be the backup. He was the backup. So I don't know.
I guess Case Keenum's health meter is only so big.
Well, I mean, speaking of all of that, we have that exact same thing with the Miami Dolphins now.
Dolphins are 0-3, Minnesota 3-0 in Minnesota. Good night. Vegas line, Minnesota -10.5.
Sim to next week.
Over-under is 38.5. The implied point total from Miami is 14. And listen, the story of Miami is this. They had one good player and he's hurt now for the year.
Yeah.
They had one good player. Yes, I'm willing to say that they have none now. There's no way that like, I like Chris Bell. We're not getting there. You've seen the pass completions. Malik Willis has one passing touchdown in 3 games.
His PrizePicks projection for Malik Willis is the lowest of the week. It is 169.5 passing yards. And I don't know if I would take more or less.
And I don't, I don't know if Malik Willis sucks or if Malik Willis would have done well if you put him in Minnesota with Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson, these dudes. Like, I think there's a combo platter here of not having established weapons. Caleb Douglas is out. You know, it's just tough.
I think they, they still have at least one good player. I think that their rookie linebacker, Jacob Rodriguez, looks great.
Oh, thank you. There's quarterbacks. There's tons of— I think there's far more quarterbacks that if they're in the right situation, they can just— they can succeed. It's like we've seen all of that with Jalen Hurts. Like, you can't say he's a terrible quarterback. I mean, you can at this moment.
Yeah.
But historically, you're like, To a quarterback who went to the Super Bowl twice and won it once. You're like, he's terrible. Like, that's a dumb argument. You're like, yeah, but now watch him. So I think Malik Willis is one of those guys. He just was in a good situation with Green Bay the last couple of years and they made him look like he could thrive in that situation. It's not working here.
No. And they, at least through a couple of weeks, they have the cleanest path to get that first pick right now. Their schedule's brutal. Now in this game, it's 10.5 points. I have very little confidence in Minnesota's offense outside of handing the ball off to Aaron Jones and kind of having that work in this one because Miami can't stop running backs. But the way they lose this game is simple. It's just not having a passing offense, is making mistakes at quarterback. And let's say what's true. I mean, I don't think Justin Jefferson is going to be in this game. If you are fighting an ankle injury, he hasn't practiced and you're playing Miami as a 10.5-point favorite right now.
Yeah.
If you want to give your star another week, you sit him down. So I do have questions of whether Minnesota will cover this, but they might do it on the defensive side. They might stop the Dolphins and turn them over and get some points on this, on that side.
Yeah. So the running back position, Ollie Gordon was the big talking point of waiver day as Achane went out and Ollie Gordon got a bajillion carries.
And a bajillion fab dollars spent on him.
We talked about, like, we broke down the situation. Saying, sure, he got all that work. Is he the guy? Probably. But do remember that Jaylen Wright was listed ahead of him on the depth chart. Jaylen Wright was out of that game because he was injured. All signs point to Jaylen Wright being back this week and he still sits on top of the depth chart. Talking about Jaylen Wright.
Good to go is the quote from their head coach, Jeff Hafley, today.
And in part of our analysis, we're like, he plays Minnesota. this week. Like, it's bad for both. It's really— I know you're hoping that you buy volume, but what level of, like, assurance or just any level of positivity are you— you think it's going to be Ollie Gordon on Sunday? Are you going to play him against the Vikings believing he will get 15 or more opportunities?
I just imagine that most people have a higher upside option to flex than Ollie Gordon. And the hardest part is if you did spend 80-plus in fab, you feel like you want to play him. I don't think— I mean, you talked about Junkins getting saved by a touchdown. The Ollie Gordon stat line you're dreaming of right now is about 11 for 31 and a touchdown.
Yeah. And it still could be Jaylen Wright. If these 2 guys are splitting carries, and the thing is, it's like—
Wright's more likely to have the long touchdown run.
The awful part of this is Let's say their plan is to have one of these guys kind of carry the load and we don't know who it is. Let's say it's Wright. What's the chance that against the Minnesota Vikings defense on the road in Minnesota that it's going to go well, that he's going to have a hot hand? And at some point you go, okay, well, let's try the other guy no matter who it is. So this is a situation where I, I would really like to start someone else. I would start J'Darian Price, who's been you know, struggling and bad. Obviously Kyle Minungai, even if Swift is playing, I'd rather start Minungai. Look at Woody Marks is a player that I feel like against Dallas, I feel like that's it. That's the tier at least of this player.
Sorry, Brooksie is saying we don't really have a ton of popular start-sit questions with Ollie Gordon. I imagine that the Minnesota matchup is— well, no, I'm saying like if you spent and you picked him up, You're not questioning it. You're just going to put him out there. So, but you should question it. Best. Well, yeah.
You can, you can argue that the Vikings offense has been a worse offense than the Dolphins, by the way.
Sure.
They have the lowest ever yards per play for a 3-0 team in history. 4.3. 59% of their drives have resulted in a punt and you don't have Jefferson. And after Jefferson left last week, outside of one bomb throw, it was gross.
That's why my face lit up when you're like, would you trade Jefferson for Puka?
Yeah, I know. Of course.
We—
that's a chance I would take.
We still don't know. We still don't know if, if Kyler and Jefferson is going to work.
You see Ian Harditz, shout out to the great Ian Harditz. He's always got good tweets and stuff. Kevin O'Connell has coached 73 games in the NFL as the head coach of the Vikings. Not, not one time has anybody had a worse single game passing success rate than Kyler Murray last week. It was the single worst performance at quarterback he's ever had. And he's had tons of backups.
That would include games with JJ McCarthy then. If I'm not mistaken.
Brother, brother, that would include games with Maximus Brosmer. Oh my God.
Listen, you look, this is the maximum.
We have been here.
We've watched it.
We tried to tell you. I hope it improves.
This is the matchup to have it improve. I mean, especially if you're talking fantasy, Kyler Murray is a guy that I think people are starting this week.
Oh gosh.
He's mobile. He's on the ground. He's against the Dolphins.
He's on the ground physically.
He's very, very close.
Addison had 9 targets, some deep targets. He caught one. He caught a touchdown.
Play Aaron Jones.
Where, where are you playing?
Play Addison.
Okay.
play other players in other games.
I lean that way as well.
So yeah, and don't mess around with wide receivers from Miami in this matchup. It would be if you want to, if Chris Bell gets 8 more targets this week, you know, and he catches 3 of them, which is the most likely outcome, you can, you can think about them in future weeks. Kansas City's 3-0. They take on the, I'm sorry, they take on Andy's Las Vegas Raiders. That's what it's in the show doc.
Wait a minute.
Oh, I love it. I love it. And by the way, it's, it's in Las Vegas. Vegas line, Kansas City minus 4.5.
Oh, you're doing it on purpose. Andy's almost upset of the week.
Riding the silver wave, boys.
If that happens, if the Raiders win that game and are 4-0 beating the division also leading, you know, Kansas City Chiefs.
Wow.
This is a battle for first place, Jay. Like you said, Mahomes has never lost on the road to the Raiders ever. So that's cool. The pass rush, the secondary, the number one fantasy defense right now in football is the Raiders.
So that's as far as the defense scoring fantasy points.
Correct.
Right.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't think that they're like anybody would argue that they're the very best.
No, they're not a shutdown defense. They're playing much better than they were last year.
Third against wide receivers. 10th against running backs. The tight end position, which, you know, the Chiefs, their top target is really Travis Kelce. So that's an area where the Raiders have been beat. But I think it'll be a fun one. I really do. You know, you start the big boys in this one. You start Kenneth Walker, Rashee Rice. Yeah, I think you're playing him if you've been playing him. Gente and Brock Bowers. Bowers looks unguardable. That'll be a challenge for the Chiefs. You know, that's an area where You know, they, they, they're willing to stay with the running game with Ginty no matter what. It's not, you know, and Kubiak, who we love, like he's, he's unwilling to relent from giving those carries because he understands and he did it last year even inefficiently, right?
Yeah.
He liked Charbonnet and Charbonnet wasn't productive, but it unlocks parts of your offense. There are, that is a philosophy that a lot of offensive coordinators have is it's just where you keep linebackers. How many people are in the box, how you think about the offense. But Kirk Cousins right now tied with Purdy for league lead in touchdowns. Anybody else? I mean, are you excited to see what happens?
I am. I'm very excited to watch this game.
If this was in Kansas City, I wouldn't have pushed that button. No.
I mean, this is an exciting game. There's a lot of fantasy assets. I— this will be the real test. I mean, being a divisional matchup, they're, they're prepared for each other very well. You've seen, you've seen Max Crosby just be an absolute terror so far through 3 weeks. Now he's going to have to see what he could do about Mahomes. I think this game comes down to Kenneth Walker. Can the Raiders shut down Kenneth Walker or not? And that will be, that will be the test. They've, they're top 10 against running backs, but they haven't been like some impossible to run on team.
So I just love these stories. I really do. Whether it's the Saints, The Browns, the Raiders, they're fun. You have an offseason of speculating and believing and seeing Vegas predictions on who wins divisions and how many wins they're going to have. I mean, what was the Vegas win total? 4.5?
What's funny is when you get to 4 this week, when you look at teams every, every year we talk about it, we talk about in the offseason, we picked our teams that go from worst to first in the division. Basically every single time that happens, there is usually a coordinator, whoever the offensive line is, head coach or coordinator shift. And then, you know, oftentimes it's that rookie quarterback, that new young quarterback coming in. And you look at the Raiders and you're like, oh, Fernando Mendoza, maybe we picked them to be the surprise. It's like, no, it's Kirk Cousins.
Captain Kirk. So I don't know if there's big start-sit decisions in this one other than like the kind of you know, deep league emergency flexes of the Trey Tuckers of the world. But I think it's pretty straightforward fantasy-wise.
Yeah. The Trey Tucker's been fine in terms of a flex play. Would try to find somebody else.
Would try. Are we feeling good about Rashee Rice?
Yeah.
Getting up and his targets have gone up and up and up so far.
I feel fine. I mean, if you had to predict his fantasy finish the rest of the way, I'd probably be at about Wide receiver 24, 20 to 24, which is not what you might have hoped for, but still usable. I still think they're going to add a wide receiver at some point via trade or via Tyreek. Denver 2-1 taking on the 3-0 San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco. 49ers are 3-point favorites. The over-under here, 47.5. I think there's a lot of question marks in this game. This one's not cut and dry at all. And, you know, the 49ers are dominating on the offensive side of the football. We talked about Purdy. He's leading the league in touchdown passes. McCaffrey, of course you play him. What's your thoughts on like the, you know, is McCaffrey what you thought he'd be so far? I mean, he is performing.
Yeah, he is.
Running back 7 on the year.
I think he is running back 4 with 20 points against Miami. Another 20 points against Arizona. Used to have the weird start with the Rams, especially with the snaps. That was, I think—
He had the cramps, right?
Yes. Yeah. He reportedly had cramps that he was playing through and they were beating the crap out of the Rams and they, and the rookie got on the field more than we expected. If you're disappointed in McCaffrey right now, you're just letting week 1 be imprinted on you. He's, he's been great for fantasy. He's going to be awesome against Denver, who is a run funnel. They, like, as great as their defense is, they just against running backs right now, they are 28th for giving up fantasy points.
So runnel for short. Maybe it's not.
I was leaving it up to the jury. Oh, I'm sorry, man.
The people will keep saying funnel. I got you.
Yeah.
We're back to the run funnel.
You're playing McCaffrey.
Yes. Well, I was saying you should not be disappointed.
And honestly, I mean, we saw last year, even when he was inefficient, the loss of the wide receivers around him. It just meant they use him more and more and more. We don't know the health of Mike Evans. He didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday with the rib injury. He still might go. And I think if he does, you probably just keep playing him and play him when he plays through injury. But there's a chance he sits.
Brandon Cooks has been elevated to the active roster for this team.
That's not a good sign.
Feels like they have an infinite supply of like has-beens that they can yoink up to the starting roster.
Infinite supply of last man up.
I mean, play Deebo.
Dante Pettis?
Yeah, he joined.
Yeah.
Former, former my guy for a minute.
Deebo is a play. The amount of volume, like he's only averaging 18 routes per game because of how San Francisco is playing right now. I don't love it. Like, I mean, it's a better option, I will admit, but League of Record, like I'm, I got Deebo on the bench because I happen to have Braylon Allen as the replacement. He is, he's desperate. I would play him above like the Trey Tucker we just talked about, but confidence is not high. He was the last man standing, came through with a big fantasy day, and yet had no catches.
Yeah, he had one play.
Yeah.
So it, which was weird. Like, how do you have Deebo out there as the only guy?
Kittle should just keep getting better.
Oh, Kittle.
Kittle's going to be great. George Kittle is awesome.
So on the other side though, I have my questions around the Jaylen Waddle confidence level. PrizePicks has him at 6.5 targets. 56.5 receiving yards. He is leading the team in first read target share. But if you've played Jaylen Waddle thus far this year, you were happy one-third of the time. The last 2 weeks was—
I play Waddle over Deebo.
Yeah, I would as well.
It's crazy. Do you know his receiving yards in 2 of his games was 2 and 10? 2 and 10. I just don't like— I just didn't think that, you know, we could get to the point with this team where You know, you could have 2 games like that where Waddle's that uninvolved.
Agreed.
That's crazy.
That is crazy. It was Kansas City and the Rams. Tough matchups. I feel like—
But he's supposed to be really good about the football.
Yeah, I'm fine playing Waddle. I'm actually— I think he's going to have a very good game this week.
Yeah, I mean, I play him over Deebo. I agree with that. I— would you play him or Burden?
I would play Waddle.
I mean, this is not an easy matchup.
I think Burden might be safer.
They still can't run the football and we'd be sitting here saying, hey, Jonah Coleman, can you fix that for him? But he's on IR. Dobbins averaging 3.5 a carry. Denver averaging 81 rushing yards a game. That's 31st in the NFL. The conglomerate of Dobbins, Harvey and company, Pade, it's not getting it done to the degree that you are getting a lot of viable fantasy value.
No, I think that this matchup is a little bit a little bit of a lie when you look at, you know, the current season stats that the 49ers have put up. Their defense has been great. But, you know, it's like that, you know, you got to remember that there was that weird Australia game where the Rams just didn't show up.
Yeah.
Obviously the Rams are much better than that. Maybe it's all credit to the 49ers defense. But then after that, it was the Miami Dolphins and the Arizona Cardinals and the Arizona Cardinals put up 30 points on them. So this defense is pretty injured. And I just, I wouldn't think 3 weeks and we talk about we want to have one more week. before we know what defenses are what. I think the, I think the Denver Broncos are going to—
Yeah, I think we said that on the footcast yesterday that we, I think we'd feel more comfortable. We're getting that data in, but I think 4 weeks is where we really want to be to let those outlier games not weigh so heavily. So we're all learning.
Yeah, because last year the 49ers were a defense you kind of targeted.
Yeah. All right. We'll take a break and we'll talk America's team, the Chargers. The beat goes on for Los Angeles and the Charger fans who are 0-3 and get the privilege of traveling to Seattle to take on the defending champions in their building coming off a loss. Oh boy. Vegas has the line Seattle -7. Over-under 42.5. That's a small implied point total for the Chargers who might literally be without the only player that has made any of their passing downs look important.
If Ladd is hurt and even if he's—
I mean, he's limping.
Even if he's active, he's hurt. I don't imagine the Chargers offense doing very much. I was okay with Hampton in this. You know, we had a bunch of questions through the week of like this guy or Hampton. I was Hampton on most of them. The, the Ladd foot injury really is a big problem because when Ladd hasn't been out there, this offense has not been able to move the ball. This is a tough matchup on the road against Seattle.
There's one player I'm paying close attention to this week because I, I believe the frustrations around Quentin Johnston are starting to bubble over to opportunities. And last week, Trey Harris did make a splash, 6 for 76. If you're talking about Quentin Johnston, you know, having his challenges and then Ladd being off the field and this team potentially losing in this game, that's a situation I'd be paying attention to. I think Trey Harris could be moving into a more prominent role.
Yeah, he's good. I think he's worth a speculation stash on the, for the weekend.
But Mike, your view of Hampton versus Braylon Allen?
I would play Braylon Allen.
Hampton versus Bill? against Indianapolis and that defense.
Oh man.
Bill with no Rashad White and Ekeler fresh off of the street. I think I'd get some Colts. I think I'd play Bill.
If Ekeler is going to be active. David Montgomery against Dallas or Mr. Hampton.
The matchup of Montgomery is really good. Blarf.
That one I think I'm willing to go Hampton.
Darnold is my start of the week on the other side of the football here. The, the Ja'Darian Price experiment for fantasy has been Rough. But this week, you know, you look at the situation and you still think he's going to get a lot of snaps.
He didn't practice on Thursday.
Yeah, I know.
The chest injury.
I know. I'm just saying if he's active, like Charbs is not going to be active.
No, no, no, no, not yet.
And Salami and Emmanuel Wilson, we'll see. I mean, if Price was out, all of a sudden Emmanuel Wilson's a smash start, right? Oh yeah.
Absolute disgusting.
Yeah. I mean, when you say smash start, he could be awesome for fantasy. The same way Charbonnet was, but it's like, then they'll just split him and Salami for sure. They're not going to have a single back.
I feel like it sounds like a good sandwich.
Yeah, it does. A split Salami sandwich.
A split Salami sandwich.
They had the game where Wilson just took over the 4th quarter. Kalani feels far more like the, like, if we're going to pass or we got to catch up, we're going to get some targets to George.
He just feels like extra snap guy.
But when they're just, if they're going to salt the game away, if Price is out, I'm open to playing Emmanuel Wilson. Not George.
Yeah, not George. All right. Sunday Night Football, guys. If you thought you only had one cat fight this week, you were wrong. Cat fight 2.0. Lions, Panthers, Lions 2-1, Panthers 1-2. This is the first week in NFL history where we've had all 4 feline football teams face each other.
Yeah. Shout out to Kyle for that incredible stat.
We have had 78 catfight games though in NFL history between 2 cat teams, just so you, for those keeping track, which is none of you.
How are Kyle historically cats versus birds?
How would you look into it?
Look into it.
Look into it.
People need to know.
Honestly, most dominant animal that at least has 2 teams representing it. What is it? The Lions are 2-1. Panthers are 1-2. It's in Carolina. Detroit minus 3.5, over-under 50.5. 68% chance of rain in this one, but the over-under is still 50.5.
2-mile-an-hour winds projected. It should be okay.
Yeah. I feel like there's a wind amount that you shouldn't report. Do you know what I mean?
Yeah, for sure.
But if there's a storm, you want to report that you don't have to worry about it. I just don't think anyone should know that it's 2-mile-an-hour winds.
My point is, you know what I mean?
It should just be called breezy.
It's not 15-mile-an-hour winds because that's where, you know, when it's, when it's rainy, oftentimes that comes with the wind. This one does not.
Right. Mike, you want to report this news?
Well, it's, we haven't, Kyle hasn't confirmed it yet.
Well, the report we're seeing is that Birds lead Cats 234, 229, and 10.
It's pretty dominant.
No, it isn't. That's 5 more wins.
Oh, I thought it was 334.
That'd be a lot more dominant than 235.
I mean, the Birds and Cats, there'd be 100 more.
The Birds and Cats are really close. This game right now, I'm just excited for it ultimately.
Yes.
Oh my gosh. Kyle's giving me Lion versus Panther stats. I mean, I don't need this, man. We know the Lion is going to win this thing. Panther's got nothing on it. Give me Panther versus Jaguar. Maybe you got a battle.
Yeah.
But Lions, the king. Yeah. All right.
So are there any mascots that would beat the Lion?
Bears.
Wait, are we talking a lion and a bear? You think a bear would win?
I don't know.
Are we talking the actual like mascot fight? Yes.
There's lots of those.
No, not like Giants.
Giants and Titans are—
Giants and Titans. And then, you know, got some lightning in there from the Chargers that probably takes them out. We don't need to open this game.
Yeah.
We've done this on the Spitballers.
All right. Bryce Young. It is a good matchup. He is leading the NFL in passing yards still. It was not a great week.
There's all, you can do all the good stuff about Bryce Young.
You say, but I mean, last week we saw him last week, but Coker went out in that game. I don't know.
And is Coker going to play?
And the Browns are, I mean, look at the Browns. They're okay defensively.
Jalen Coker's practice reports this week have been ridiculous because it's like, hey, we've seen him there. He's, he's appearing in practice. You're like, oh no, but he's limited. He's just doing individual stuff. You're like, no, he's not even doing individual stuff. I don't know what's going on with Jalen Coker.
But he likes the consolidation.
Jason has I got Waller as a start of the week at tight end.
Yeah. I mean, you're going to end up throwing a lot on the Lions. They've got a great pass rush with Hutchinson, but they end up scoring a lot of points and needing to be thrown on and being able to be thrown on. You've— they're 32nd against quarterbacks, 32nd against tight ends, 29th against wide receivers so far through 3 weeks of fantasy points given up. So you want— there's a reason there's a high over-under on this game and you want players in it.
Yeah, you also have a Panthers defense who's been great against wide receivers, but now has more injuries in the secondary. So I, again, it's only 3 weeks in. So I think the big question mark, you're not doubting the big boys, Gibbs and Amon-Ra every week, always. LaPorta, I think you're fine with. It's the, do you want to start Jameson Williams? Are you willing to start Jameson Williams? And I, I find myself kind of just not expecting a lot when I put him out there right now.
Jameson Williams or Luther Burden?
I'd probably try Luther personally against the Jets. I mean, Jamo's been, he's been bad, man.
Jameson Williams or a Jefferson-less Vikings and you play Jordan Addison?
I'd play Addison. Jason, you can jump in. I mean, right now, right now, Jamo's on pace for 56 catches for 719 yards.
Yeah, it's tough. I mean, it's tough when it's 3 in a row, but this is also kind of what Jameson Williams has done for an entire career. It's just, He disappears, disappears.
Do you play those guys in plus matchups then? Is that what you do is never miss out on a plus matchup for the volatile?
Yeah. I mean, Jameson has, he's shown that it doesn't matter. Whenever you think you could start him, you can't. And if you don't think you could start him, you should. So start him, but tell no one.
Yeah. Those, those options you gave me, Mike, I like them a little bit more.
Suspect hands that might be a little damp.
Yeah.
I think I would go Waddle and Burden, but I would play Jameson over Deebo.
Are you playing Waller over Isaiah Likely, Tucker Kraft?
Over Likely, yes, because I want to see a regular game script with Jameis, what actually happens. Tucker Kraft.
Kraft got 8 targets, played all the snaps. You got to keep playing Kraft.
I can tell you, I mean, I have these 2 guys. I have Kraft in the lineup.
Okay.
I, the fact that there could be some rain in this one and I feel like Waller is still super touchdown dependent has me on the Kraft side. But he is my start of the week. So I think that he will get targets with no Coker. We'll see. Atlanta.
Like when Coker left, the targets did not go to Teteroa McMillan. They went to Darren Waller.
Yeah, they did.
And the snap counts have gone up for him. 35%, 44%, 51% through the 3 weeks.
Oh man. These trends.
Atlanta 1-2. Mike's New Orleans Saints at 1-2.
That's right.
Vegas line, New Orleans -2.5. They're at home in the dome.
I need—
I just need my team to finish.
Yeah. The over-under here, 47.5. I mean, the Saints don't feel like a 1-2 team.
No.
And they've been in every game last week against the, you know, last week against Andy's Raiders.
Yeah.
That was exciting and fun. They beat the Ravens on the road. They almost beat the Lions on the road. They've been very, very good. I'm surprised this is only a 2.5-point line.
I see. I'm completely opposite.
Really?
Yeah. I think Atlanta wins this ballgame.
Wow.
And I hate to say that because the Atlanta Falcons—
Well, I think the Kansas City Chiefs beat your Raiders. So take that.
Okay. Took it personally. The reason being, Jason, is that the Falcons We have one game, one game of actual genuine reliable data on them and they beat the Packers 35 to 14. So I, and it was in Green Bay. So they went on the road and beat it, beat an offense, shut down an offense that we thought would be a lot better than that, 14 points. So I, I think the Falcons are a little reborn under Michael Penix. I think it will be a battle. I think that the line, I'd probably throw it as more of a coin flip. So, but I do think it'll be fun. I mean, I cannot wait for this game. This is awesome. I mean, we saw a very impressive offensive performance from what, almost 2 200-yard players in London and Bijan under with Michael Penix.
And this should be really fun Monday night.
I mean, there's nothing I'm scared about from the Saints defense. Like I'm not benching or worried about any offensive players other than Kyle Pupu.
How far down does Kyle Pupu go?
Poo-poo go as far down as Drake London toilet drain goes.
Wow.
Until we get something.
Do you want one? I got you. Go for it. A man who currently is, I mean, commanding—
Yes, I play Mark Andrews.
No, I wasn't going to go with that. Commanding a 19% target share. His name is TJ Hockenson, who is in a plus matchup. I mean, I bring him up because I have him one spot ahead of Kyle Pitts.
Kyle Pitts has scored 0 points, 2 points, and 1 point.
The only thing that matters is the last game.
Kyle Pitts has 20 receiving yards.
Yeah. The only thing that matters is the last game. You're going to throw those first 2 out just like you said. But the last game was 1 point. And we've seen with—
Kyle sits, man.
Yeah. We have seen games last year.
Yeah. You got to be careful.
Hold on. Give me the spotlight again.
Oh no. Oh, that's the Pitts story.
I left him out. Just, I want to include him. I'm sorry. I've apologized for a few players. I'm sorry about this one. I'm an idiot. Kyle Pitts is not good enough. That is all.
We now return to your regular schedule program.
You know who's good enough? Juwan Johnson is. Devon Bailey is. Chris Olave is. And the report yesterday, which is You know, how I expect it to go. Not effective, but it's going to be what happens. Alvin Kamara is supposed to, quote, carry the load for this offense.
Yes. And I agree that that will be the plan. The Falcons are actually quite good up front against running backs right now. Running— the running back position is averaging 10.5 points against the Falcons. Kamara, I think, is an okay volume play because he's— that's not— he's not a traditional running back. But I do think that Kendre Miller should be on the bench of all 12-team rosters.
Yeah. I mean, you could say that Kamara is going to carry the load and then you could make a decision when it's not working to go change it. But Jason, your start of the week, Shuck Daddy himself.
Oh yes. Yes.
I think this game—
I'm not anti-Saints, by the way. I just think it's going to be— I think it's going to be a sick, awesome Monday night divisional battle. You have crazy talent. on both sides of the ball here. Big plays. Yeah, I'm excited.
I expect this game to hit the over and be a really fun game. So I want pieces in it. I mean, obviously the pieces are pretty easy. The biggest question of do I start or not is really just the Kamara, Kendre Miller Saints running game. Is anybody good enough to start? This is not a plus matchup so far.
Kamara or David Montgomery?
I'll go Montgomery.
I know you would, Andy.
If I'm half or full, give me Kamara. Give me Kamara. I'm grossed out by Montgomery right now. I'm not sure what he has.
We did see an update on, I think it came from coach, right? From Kellen Moore that he doesn't expect Jordan Tyson to start practicing next week.
That's the earliest he could have his practice window open and he's not expecting him to practice.
He's on that short-term IR, which is you have to miss 4 weeks. You can't do anything. But your practice window, they could open it up.
This was always what I actually expected.
But it seems like it won't open yet.
You only have certain options on IR. And when he hurt the hamstring for a second time and he had already like been out an extended period of time and then he hurt it at ASU and he was, none of it was 4 weeks. You know what I mean? None of it was like a quick turnaround. So that's where my hesitation has been on Tyson is that as a team that's performing well on the offensive side of the ball already. Right? Like Tyler Shucks doing good things, leads the NFL in dropbacks, completion of pass attempts. You take time on your rookie to make sure you don't reinjure the thing he's been hurt 3 times in a row on.
Yeah, I do agree.
But injury updates, DeVonta Smith not seen practicing on Friday.
He's almost certainly not playing.
Now DeAndre Swift though is expected to practice on Friday. So there's a little update for you. That's big news in case you thought you had Manungai by himself, which we talked about at the top. And then Terry McLaurin popped up on the injury report with a hamstring. For the first time, Rashad White listed as out officially.
If Terry McLaurin is considered more limited, I'm perfectly fine putting Stefon Diggs back out there.
I think Stefon Diggs is a fantastic start if he's playing himself.
Targets will be there. Yeah, targets will be there. Into the face-off we go.
Fantasy Face-Off presented by PrizePicks.
Well, let's start this segment by saying that once again, amazingly, incredibly, unpredictably, Jason has whiffed on the easy Green Goblin pick each week.
The Green Goblin. It's been my nemesis. I can hit all the hard ones. I can't get the Goblins. Granted, I didn't— I wasn't the loser this week.
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I appreciate you trying to shield me from some protection.
My, my Picks were bad last week.
I didn't hit my Goblin.
No. So we have a Wheel of Shame and it's not Jason. Yeah. And it's not me.
That's been Wheel of Shame.
All right. Give me the wheel. Spin it.
Spin that shameful wheel, Mike.
Yeah. It's deserved. Let's see. We got Pigskin.
I don't think I—
Blitz Breath, Punt Goblin, Dumb Cluck.
Careful with that one. Whoa.
So then I'm sitting in the cluck chair.
Oh, very nice.
Yeah.
Okay. All right.
I guess that's true.
We took it easy on you this week.
Did you?
Yeah.
He's got a big head.
This isn't getting on.
Oh dude, seriously? You could do it. Oh, pull all this stuff. You got this. I thought we—
Yeah, you're fine.
You got a whole face hole.
Yeah, you can breathe and everything. Getting it off.
You guys wear it. This is, this is taking it light. I appreciate that.
Yeah.
But we're going to need the jaws of life to get this removed.
That's true. Yeah.
Once it's over the jaw, can't come off.
All right.
We are jumping into week 4. My quarterback this week is my Green Goblin. Bryce Young in that Sunday Night Football game. 179.5 passing yards. I am taking the more. You're going to need to throw to keep up with the Lions. I don't care about the rain.
Okay. I hope you don't because now I'm rooting for rain. Yeah.
I didn't care about the rain with my Jameis pick last week until Sunday showed up and I went, I very much care about this rain.
I am going to—
a lot of Jameis in there too.
For my quarterback, I'm going with Lamar Jackson.
Okay.
And I think that the Baltimore Ravens have an easy road ahead against Tennessee. I am taking less than 27.5 pass attempts. I don't think—
oh, that's not a Green Goblin.
It is not a Green Goblin.
No, I think that's a good one.
Don't think that he's going to have to throw the ball.
I thought about the less on his actual passing yards.
Yeah.
So, so I'm just, I'm just purely curious now that you mentioned it, what his pass attempts have been. 25, 31, and 20. So he was already under that number. Yeah. Interesting.
I think that's a great pick. Yeah. I'm going to go with CJ Stroud.
Oh yeah.
Against the Dallas Cowboys because I don't— I don't believe in David Montgomery or the running game for Houston. 242.5 passing yards for Stroud. I'll take the more.
Okay. Nico. Yeah.
With Nico back.
Hopefully. Yeah. We, we're moving to running back. I am going to the The number went up just a little bit this morning, but I stuck with it. Aaron Jones, Minnesota running back who's got all the work. I'm taking 66.5 rushing yards and I am taking the more on that one. It makes sense. I think you're going to break off a couple runs and be there in a jiffy and be in the lead.
That does make sense. I have bad news for both of you guys.
Uh-oh. Is this your Green Goblin?
This is my Green Goblin.
Oh no. This must be a player we care about.
It's a player you guys like. It's Jeremiah Love. I'm going more than 39.5 rushing yards, which of course he will get.
Oh, this is unfortunate, people.
It's 39.5 rushing yards. They've given him all the work. The matchup is great. Everything is perfect for an easy layup. Green Goblin.
But you're on 3 on those.
But I'm on 3 on my Green Goblin.
So—
But it's not— oh crap. I just realized another problem with it. I was going to say it's not Jordan Love, but you kept the love in there.
Oh no.
You kept the love in there.
It's been Jordan Love. killing me and I went J. Love again.
Oh, that's a problem. Mike, who's your running back?
So we have a— this one's wild because we have the same player and the same—
I know, I know exactly.
Same specificity.
Yeah, you got— nope.
I don't know, man.
With specificity? The same.
Yeah, sure.
That's what you just talked about.
I got in earlier. I got in earlier than you did. Because I got Aaron Jones at 64.5 rushing yards.
Ah, actually Andy had him at 64.5 as well and I made him move it because the line moved this morning.
Yeah, that's right. You didn't say nothing to me.
I apologize. I didn't realize you had the same. We can't have different lines there. Yeah.
You guys are both at 66.5.
Yeah. Yeah. We have the same thing.
Oh, okay. Cool. We'll just do that live.
All right.
No, no.
We both sent it over to him and then he hit up one of us this morning. Yeah, I did.
Yeah.
And then you walked in and you said, sounds like you said 64.5. Al said you have a lot of crossover.
He's like, it's not just, it's correlated.
Yeah.
Those are, those are pretty correlated.
Well, we need our listeners to get the same number.
All right.
And that's at 66.5, which I gave him permission to move this morning.
I do. I do like taking more on that play.
And I got in at the same time as you, brother.
That's on me. My fault. And yes, Andy had it in at the same time. I apologize for my underling.
Oh, okay.
This is why you got demoted. Josh sees everything. He would have told me. All right. 66.5, Aaron Jones.
Jones is where we're at there. My wide receiver guys—
With protest. Sure.
Yeah, whatever. I mean, if you want to, if you want to argue with them and move me back to 64.5, I'm, I'm just saying, if we get 65, I'm going to be upset.
Oh, there will be riots.
Quentin Johnston.
Oh, huge. I'm going to guess less.
But I'm going receptions. Well, of course, I think they're going to make the move out of Quentin this week. Now maybe the Ladd thing is going to blow this up on me. Less than 3.
I mean, oh, that's danger.
Yeah, that takes normally 9 targets to get to 3.
That's dangerous. Yeah, I was going to say it's not targets. He's got to catch it in order to count against that statistic. My wide receiver, DJ Moore, more than 46.5 receiving yards.
All right.
He's been their wide receiver 1. I expect him to continue.
I've got Michael Jerry Rice Wilson. Oh man. 57.5 receiving yards. That's a good one. I will take the more.
All right. Tight end to close it out. Tyler Warren. I'm taking—
are you joking?
No. 45.5 receiving yards. I'm taking the more.
Okay. My—
this is my reception one.
This is my Green Goblin. Oh, 3.5.
Yeah. I mean, well, there you go. I hope that 3.5 adds up to 46.
Yeah. Put me up.
For me, I'm going with the player I think I've gone with every single week and hit every single week and they are not adjusting it enough. Thank you. Do not continue to make poor projections for Darren Waller. Darren Waller more than 27.5 receiving yards.
Okay. That has gone up. I think it was like 17 week 1 or something. But that was Fantasy Faceoff presented by PrizePicks.
