Night falls in Gaza, and over the past few months, the hum of Israeli drones has filled the air. Before the long-awaited ceasefire deal, several Palestinians recorded their daily life here, sharing this footage with CNN. One person telling us that at night, their whole family remains in their tent, their world shrinking every evening. The constant buzz of Israeli drones overhead has continued through the night. There has been no electricity available on Gaza's electric grid since October 11th, 2023. Israel, who used to supply some of Gaza's electricity, cut off its grid after Hamas attacked on October seventh. Gazans have relied on generators, which require imported fuel or batteries and solar panels for electricity.
