One of the competitions was to see who would win a $1.8 million private island. But other events test how loyal players are to their peers, even when offered a fortune to eliminate their friends. Contestants from all walks of life have their own reasons why they want to win the game. Some participants say they, quote, grew up homeless and want to help other homeless kids.
