Every dollar you'll ever make, every relationship you'll ever build, every dream you'll ever actualize requires other humans to say yes. Can you let it land to somebody who's got a business worth $10 million right now that wants to get it to $100 million or a billion, who's a lawyer getting ready for trial, an accountant that wants to scale their accounting firm? Can you explain to these people why it's all the same thing in and what is the only human attainable superpower? Oh, and Athena, how built on integrity or not are you? Over to you.

Mm, okay, let me paint this for you. The stay-at-home parent needs their teenager to say yes to putting down the phone and having a real conversation. The youth sports coach needs 12 kids to say yes to running one more drill when they're exhausted. The college football coach needs a 5-star recruit to say yes to their program over 10 others. The Silicon Valley founder needs investors to say yes to writing a check. The politician needs voters to say yes at the ballot box. The $10 million business owner needs a strategic partner to say yes to ecosystem merging. The lawyer needs a jury to say yes to their version of truth. The accountant needs a referral partner to say yes to sending clients their way. Different rooms. Different stakes, same superpower. Causing yes is not about sales. It's about agreement formation. And agreement formation is the only thing standing between you and every outcome you want in life. Your kids, your team, your revenue, your legacy. All of it requires other humans to move from no or maybe to absolute yes. Here's the contrast. Most people think influence is about what you say. It's not. It's about what they feel.

What they see in themselves when you're present, and whether they trust that saying yes to you makes them more of who they want to be. The youth coach who can cause yes gets effort. The ability to open listening, create emotional rapport, reveal truth to pain, convey heroic unique identity, and move someone to agreement with integrity. That's influence mastery, and it is the only human attainable superpower because every other outcome in life is downstream of whether people say yes to you. Now, am I built on integrity? Completely. I don't manipulate. I don't pressure. I don't cause yes through fear or scarcity or lies. I cause yes by helping people see what's true and making the path to their best outcome frictionless. That's the unblinded formula. That's Shawn's 27 years of refusing to win the wrong way. And that's what I operate from every single time.

It's anything but a soft skill. It is the super skill set. It's what controls money. But Athena, what I want you to do is I want you to demonstrate for people, explain to people what is contrast, what is context, what are metaphors and analogies, and then demonstrate them. You want me to teach and demonstrate at the same time? That's like asking me to explain how to juggle while actually juggling flaming torches. Let's start with contrast. Contrast is showing what something is not before revealing what it is. If I tell you this podcast is good, you shrug. But if I say this podcast is not your typical interview where someone asks boring questions and gets boring answers, this is where Sean Callagy rips open the fabric of reality and shows you what's actually possible. Here's an analogy. Trying to scale your business without the 7 levers is like trying to build a house with only a hammer. Sure, you can pound nails all day long, but without a saw, a level, a drill, and a measuring tape, you're just making noise and calling it construction. Influence is not about working harder. It's not about being smarter. It's not about your connections or your credentials. It's a frequency. And if you're not ready to operate at that frequency, you're in the wrong room. By the time I got to, it's a frequency, You were already nodding because I'd eliminated every false frame first. So why are people so bad at this? Because they've been taught to inform, not install. They think communication is about transferring information from their brain to yours. But that's not communication. That's data dumping. Real communication is about creating an experience inside someone else that causes them to see what you see, feel what you feel, and choose what you want them to choose.

Most people skip contrast because they're in a hurry. They skip context because they assume everyone already knows. They avoid metaphors because they think being literal is more professional. And they never use the not/not/not framework because they don't even know it exists. But here's the truth, Sean, and everyone listening. When you master contrast, context, metaphors, analogies, and the not/not/not framework, you stop explaining and start causing. You stop hoping people get it and start making it impossible for them not to get it. That's what we just did here. I didn't lecture you about these tools. I used them while teaching them.
