Transcript of Trump Stays Fully Silent as Iran Says No Deal Ever With Him New

How utterly pathetic. Donald Trump remains in hiding at the White House. He has shut it down to all of the press as Iran just made an announcement through one of the top advisors to MB Ghalibaf, that's their parliament leader and lead negotiator, that Iran has no intention to ever do a deal with Donald Trump during the remainder of Trump's term. Iran prefers just to wait until Trump's term is done. And as Donald Trump wants to say that he is, quote, "low-keying negotiations with Iran," and that this is just a semi-negotiation and Iran will collapse on its own, Iran's saying, "We will call your bluff on that, and we'll see who really will be hurt with the passing of time. Will it be the United States, or will it be Iran?" Iran says, we're in a position where we can wait 2 years, maybe longer. We're not gonna play this game, Donald. This as we're learning that at least $13 billion of damage has recently been done by Iran to American bases and military equipment. The Wall Street Journal reporting this morning, Iran's attacks have caused about $13 billion in damage to the US with 2,000 missiles and drone strikes against US bases since Operation Epic Fury Fury began.

The attacks damaged 20 facilities in 8 countries and damaged or destroyed at least 42 aircraft. And this is only a preliminary estimate. I believe the numbers at least double that based on the satellite footage we've seen. But that's the report from the Wall Street Journal. So yeah, earlier this morning you had MB Galibov's advisor Majid Shakari saying, Trump will not reach an agreement with us. We are going along with until the term ends, and then we will figure out what to do with a new administration. Iran has flatly ruled out any future negotiations with Trump and says, we're not going to do a deal until January 2029. Trump will not reach an agreement. He can't reach an agreement. The path to victory is neither fighting nor a deal. It is managing the process of neither war nor peace up to the point of victory. Publicly confirming negotiations with the US is sheer folly. The winning approach approaches denial, ambiguity, and strategic patience. And as the Wall Street Journal reported on the US losing at least $13 billion, but probably more, Iran's IRGC— based on military losses— Iran's IRGC announces that its missiles have now been upgraded and have the capability to change course mid-flight to evade enemy air defense systems.

The IRGC spokesperson told their state media in Iran, Fars. The IRGC adds Iranian missiles can also be reassigned to a secondary target mid-flight, even after a specific target has been designated. The upgrade includes Iran's Khaibar, Shaikan ballistic missile, Fattah-1 and Fattah-2 hypersonic missiles, and the Emad ballistic missile. And we, we knew that before this was confirmed on Fars because we saw the ability of the missiles, uh, to evade the interceptors that were remaining. So with all of this going on, what's Donald Trump doing this morning? Donald Trump on his social media platform is posting images of himself golfing, as though the American people who are suffering, who can't afford groceries, who can't afford to pay their rent, who are having their healthcare ripped away, who are worried that data centers are going to be popping up in their backyard, who are worried and concerned that ICE and Border Patrol Gestapo will be terrorizing their streets, who are worried about never-ending wars, who are livid that taxpayer dollars are going to support war crimes. The American people— you think we want to see you take photos of yourself on golf courses right now while you're hiding in the White House like a pathetic coward?

Other developments taking place across the world: Yemen's Ansar Allah— it's the Houthis, they're known as Ansar Allah— targeted Bayhan this morning, killing at least 2 Saudi-backed soldiers. And you can you take a look at this map right here, you can see some of the strikes by the Houthis. You see in Mokka, there were big strikes as well that killed at least 7 and wounded 30 Saudi-backed forces there. But in Bahan, in San Al-Jinn, Al-Abar, Rawiq, the Houthis are striking hard. They're emboldened. Um, they see the US weakness, they see Saudi Arabia weakness, and the Houthis were not deterred at all by Saudi Arabia entering into that defense pact with Turkey, bringing Pakistan into what's been referred to as the Mecca Pact. The Houthis are unworried that Turkey's going to get involved. That doesn't bother them. Um, we report— we reported also last night about yet another tanker in the Strait of Hormuz that was hit by Iran. About 1 to 2 tankers are being hit every day in the Strait of Hormuz as Iran continues to control, uh, the strait. Occasionally a tanker will be able to get through as the US tries to push a tanker through, but overwhelmingly Iran has been able to strike tankers in the Oman route.

Um, so much so now that you add that on top of the fact that the Houthis were able to strike in the eastern Saudi Arabian Jizan Aramco facility over there, Jubail, the industrial city in the east, another Aramco refinery was hit really hard, uh, yesterday Saudi Aramco Arabco has now postponed the restart of its 400,000 barrels per day at the Jazan refinery. They're moving it now to August 30th following additional Houthi attacks. We got more posts from Donald Trump. He did one stealing the Game of Thrones music, and it says, the capital restored, order restored, the capital reclaimed with a crown. As this one account says, well, the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. I mean, you saw over the weekend, they were The Trump regime was posting Spider-Man memes to try to co-opt the popular movie and use it as a way to like threaten migrants that we're going to grab you like Spider-Man with our web. I mean, it's sick stuff. Pokémon had to give a cease and desist letter to the Trump regime because Trump regime continues to use Pokémon imagery to support war crimes. Taylor Swift had to make a copyright claim against Donald Trump because he stole her music this weekend.

It's just sick stuff, man. It's really just sick, weird stuff. And I know the Americans, American people here were sick and tired of this crap. It's why Trump's approval is just at an all-time low. I mean, it's in modern— this isn't hyperbolic when I say this— in terms of modern presidential history, since going back like 70, 80 years, Trump has the worst approval at this point in his presidency than anybody, than anybody over the last 70 years. And Iran knows that. That's like, why would we even deal with you.

Why?

We— you're a scumbag. We can't deal with you. You're a liar.

You can't—

you don't negotiate at all. You just, you know, Trump's new approach is like, all right, I'm gonna play it cool now. I don't really even care what's going on, man. We're just semi-negotiating. We're low-keying it. Trump will throw out a fire hose of all of these different manipulation tactics, and it all just tries to mask that really, when it comes down to it, he's a loser. Iran noting through their foreign ministry spokesperson that, uh, they received an invitation to meet again in Pakistan, not from the US side, but just for Foreign Minister Aragchi and their parliament leader, MB Ghulabaf, to meet with the Pakistan leaders after Pakistan entered into this alliance with not just Saudi Arabia, which has existed for a while. Remember, Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and then bringing Turkey into that alliance as well. And Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson has a very interesting take on that Mecca agreement between Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. He goes, there's no reason for us to be concerned in Iran that this pact between the two neighboring countries of Turkey and Pakistan, as well as Saudi Arabia, three countries with which we share deep religious, historical, and civilization bonds, is directed against Iran.

The history of friendship between the nations of Turkey and Pakistan as two neighboring Muslim countries is longstanding. This development is an important sign of a shift in regional perceptions, meaning a move away from the United States security umbrella. I would say more than a move away, a break from the US security umbrella to the Arab nations, the Muslim nations joining with each other because the US umbrella is broken. Iran actually sees that as potentially a positive development. If you push the US out, you have the Arab nation alliances, and then you bring China in as well to serve as a buffer against the United States. The generational damage that Trump's going to be doing when it comes to things like the value of the dollar, long-term interests in the region. Um, uh, Donald Trump's really kind of broken the United States security umbrella throughout the world. Um, notably you have Israel's agriculture minister saying, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, this alliance, this is a very problematic Sunni alliance for the state of Israel. Egypt will apparently be joining this alliance as well, we need to be very, very careful. Pakistan has nuclear weapons, and on this issue, we need to remain on guard.

The only strengthens the need for an alliance with a global superpower on the scale of the United States. You see what's going on there, right? So then what's state regime media Fox doing with all of this taking place? Well, they bring on Lindsey Graham's sister, who's now a United States senator, who's running for election there in South Carolina, Senator Darlene Graham. And she's asked about the inflation crushing the American people. And she's like, well, I stand with Donald Trump and anything that Donald Trump says, so I guess I support this war. Play this clip.

I stand with President Trump. You know, national security is more utmost important. We have to protect our nation. I realize that the price of gas is a little high right now, but I think President Trump is going to get us through this and the price of gas will eventually come down. So So I'm just gonna support him and, and I believe in him when it comes to dealing with Iran.

Then you had Sean Duffy, Transportation Secretary, with his son-in-law who's apparently running for Congress, although I swear that I thought the guy was like in high school. Finally, Secretary, there was word you were going to do another reality show. Is that still happening? What should we be watching for?

Not a reality show. So what we've done is the Great American Road Trip. We want to encourage people to get out and travel and see this beautiful country. If you love America, you should see America is the motto. So I did little mini trips with my family, 1, 2 day trips to film different parts of the country that folks could go to. So yes, stay tuned in the next maybe week, 2 weeks, we're gonna drop it. We gotta do, just to be honest, we gotta do a little extra editing. I've gotta make sure I come into compliance with all of the ethics rules that we have in government. And so it's taking a little longer than I would have liked. And with all of this going on, no doubt that the American people are just absolutely livid right now at what's happening in our country. Everybody in Trump's cabinet has approval ratings that are deeply underwater. The most popular Trump cabinet official right now is Marco Rubio, who's net negative 8. Then you have You have JD Vance is net negative 17 and Hegseth is net negative 18. Here, watch as Harry Enten just goes through these numbers. It's wild. Here, play this clip.

Do not like where it is going. How do they feel about the person in the president's cabinet perhaps most responsible for the war? With us now, CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten. I'm talking about the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. How do people think he's doing?

You know, when it comes to the Trump administration officials, it's not exactly like we're dealing with the 1927 Yankees according to the American people. But, you know, you just look at Pete Hegseth and he manages to be the lowest of the low. That's what we're talking about. Take a look here. Trump administration officials' net job approval rate. Look, they're all in the water here. You got 4 guys across your screen. You got Marco Rubio, who's at -8. You got RFK Jr., —9. You got J.D. Vance, the vice president, -17. But who takes the cake here? Look at this. Pete Hegseth, as I said, the lowest of the low, 22 points underwater. And this has been something that's been going on throughout the entire administration. He has been underwater in every single poll that I could find. That is his job disapproval rating being above his job approval rating.

And Iran has not— the comparison to Rubio here is really apt because they're both seen involved with the war in Iran. Rubio's -8, Hexteth -22.

Yeah, Rubio is the one who, relatively speaking, has come out smelling like roses, especially as he looks ahead to 2028, potentially, and JD Vance.

All right, so talk about Pete Hexteth in comparison to other past Secretaries of Defense who may have had, shall we say, popularity issues.

Yeah, the one that comes to my mind in the middle of a war is Donald Rumsfeld back in 2006, right, heading into a midterm election where it doesn't look like you're party is going to do particularly well. Net popularity rating of defense secretaries at this point in midterm, look at this, Pete Hegseth again 22 points underwater. This is historically low because Donald Rumsfeld, who wasn't exactly smelling the roses, he was 7 points underwater. Again, a net popularity rating in the negative, underwater, but still 15 points better than Pete Hegseth. And why is this comparison in my mind so much is because remember, Don Rumsfeld was essentially forced to resign after those midterm elections, after Republicans got crushed. And I think there's some question if the midterms go the way that a lot of folks think they might go, will Donald Trump's tune on this gentleman right here perhaps change a little bit? Well, we'll have to wait and see.

Okay. What are they talking about on Bannon's show this morning with Peter Navarro? Well, attacking Jeanine Pirro. You have the whole Trump regime just in total disarray. You have Peter Navarro attacking Jeanine Pirro. Let's play this clip right here.

Do me a favor, Steve. When I'm on camera and you don't want to talk about something like Jeanine Pirro, never mention her friggin name to me because that woman still refuses, refuses. We love to fire the prosecutor who was involved in putting you and me behind bars. Okay, so don't you dare. You're— you're— hey, I can't deal with the boss. I can't deal with your— like, I, you know, like, I'm just telling you that guy. How is that guy still working here who pointed me at a courtroom and said I was above the law? Those—

you get my drift.

And what about Donald Trump's net approval on jobs? What do the American people think? Are we on the right track or the wrong track? Only 29% of Americans say we're on the right track when it comes to jobs.

Here, play this clip. And here, I mean, just look at this trend line, Trump's net approval rating on jobs. He is now 22 points underwater, swimming with the fishes, a very unlucky 22 points. That is way down from where he was at the beginning of term number 2, where he was at +9 points. And the whole other thing is, this was such a big strength for President Trump in term number 1. He was 10 points above water at this point in term number 1. So we're talking about a 32-point decline in terms of Trump's Trump's net approval rating on jobs. It is not just inflation that is hurting Trump when it comes to the economy in the American voters' minds. It is jobs as well.

This is just a huge swing.

This is a huge swing on a foundational issue that he ran on.

How do people feel in general about the jobs market right now?

Great question, Johnny B. And I think that this really gives the game away. I mean, just look at this on jobs and employment. We're on the wrong track, the right track. Back at the beginning of Trump's second term, the plurality set on the right track. That ain't the case no more, I'll tell you this much. Look at that, that right track number has fallen significantly, down 11 points, down to 29%. And that wrong track number, which was behind that right track, is now running ahead of it. Look at that number, up nearly 20 points. Now the majority of Americans say that the country is on the wrong track when it comes to jobs and employment. No wonder President Trump's numbers are so poor.

And then I'll leave you with this incredible speech from Senator Ossoff. I'll just play you a short portion. This was Senator Jon Ossoff this weekend on Iran. Powerful words. To me, this is what the American people are feeling right now. Let me know what you think.

And there's something uniquely despicable about lying a nation into war, treating citizens as fools and the selfless patriots who serve as pawns. On day 12 of this war, the president said, quote, "We won." On day 14, Secretary Hegseth said Iran's military was, quote, "destroyed." Day 14. 5 months later, we're still bombing, Americans are still dying, Iran still has its uranium, The Strait of Hormuz is still closed. Come on. I challenge anyone to defend this. A war built on lies told by a White House that is utterly absent any figures of integrity to dissuade this president from his delusions. And Ahab, too, surrounded himself with yes-men.
