Transcript of Trump’s Advisors Warn of Midterm Disaster in November

MAGA Republicans are in panic mode right now as their voters are just done with Donald Trump. I mean, you have ranchers in Michigan who are saying things like this.

And the latest reporting from Bloomberg, you got MAGA Republicans seeing Trump's unceasing Iran war is what they call it. Unceasing Iran war as a midterm threat, you think, and it cites top White House advisors. These are the top White House outside advisors who spoke on conditions of anonymity to Bloomberg. And here's what they are saying. Republican strategists worry there's no way to keep the Iran war from hurting the party's prospects in November's midterm elections. The continuing hostilities have demoralized GOP voters who sent Trump to the White House in order to tame inflation and keep the US out of overseas conflicts. Compounding Republican fears is Donald Trump's apparent lack of concern. Then it says over here how several outside advisors to the White House— I mean, these are people who are currently hired to advise the White House in an outside capacity— granted anonymity to speak candidly, said they do not expect the war to be resolved or gas prices to go down before November. They also worry that the White House has damaged its credibility on Iran. after Trump's repeated claims that the Strait of Hormuz is open to ship traffic and that gas prices are falling.

What do you mean? I thought that everybody believed Barack Ravid over at Axios that the United States is powerfully dominating the Strait of Hormuz because Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth said— oh wait, nobody's buying that. Also, nobody's buying that Donald Trump's claim that he just did the biggest deal ever with Venezuela and the US has conquered it and it's taken over. 65 billion barrels of oil, provable reserves underneath Venezuela. That's gonna solve the oil crisis right now. No one buys any of this crap. Treasury Secretary Bessens, market manipulation crap. Nobody's buying. People know what their gas prices are. Gas prices are surging to record highs. They're at record highs. Diesel is at record highs right now. Donald Trump screwing over our ranchers. You heard from that rancher over there in Michigan. These were ranchers who were at a beef show in Michigan who said— these are people who voted for Trump. They're like, resign, 25th Amendment, please get the hell out of here. Ranchers are outraged over Trump's move to flood the market with 300,000 metric tons of discounted frozen beef from overseas. Make America great again. And then you have the head of the RNC, Chairman Joe Grutter.

I mean, look at this pathetic loser. He does the American flag face thing. He's all— we just have to be meaner to these people. I mean, these people are a bunch of losers and we need to stop normalizing these individuals and act like they know what the hell they're doing. This is the chair of the RNC, Joe Grutter. And he's like, we're 2 weeks away from Trumpapalooza, everybody in Dallas. Everybody be there December 9th and December 10th. It's gonna be a rockin' in Dallas, everybody.

Number two, nobody wants to go to the midterm convention and be on stage with Donald Trump. He is poison right now to this country. He wants to make it all about himself where he's gonna say affordability, it's a hoax. I've never heard of that word. It's a new word that they must have invented. No Republicans want to be on stage with this guy, but you know, and oh, and then on the September 11th, 25th anniversary, Trump's refusing to show up to Manhattan because, uh, they're not allowing him to do a speech because he wants to do like a political propaganda speech on 9/11. So he's like, I'm not going. So you're going to have partying the day before the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Um, Joe Gruder seems to think that's a good idea. Here's what he had to say.

And you know what the bottom line too? They have made the United States look like such losers on the world stage. That's one of the things that I don't think no matter what your political party, you can ever forgive about these Republicans. They made us all look like the biggest losers ever. And we should never have gotten into these catastrophic and unlawful wars, the war crimes, all of the horrific conduct. I mean, the attacks on our greatest ally, Canada, the attacks on NATO, all of this behavior. I think it's also worth reflecting on, as Canada knows, as Iran knows, as they know, as they know, these people are losers leading the country.

But it might be worth trying to figure out why our national debt just got so big. They cut taxes on the richest people because at the end of the day, a debt balance is about the amount of money in and the amount of money out. Republicans always like to do one thing with our money. They don't want to give you healthcare. They don't want to give you childcare. They don't want to address our broken infrastructure or our failing public schools. You know what they want to do? They want to go to war. Then Donald Trump came to power saying this.

Well, under Trump, we will have no more wars. No more wars.

The United States military began major combat operations in Iran.

Billions of your taxpayer dollars being spent, wasted in a war he doesn't know how to get out of. So now we've got $40 trillion in debt. And yeah, we gotta do something about it. So here's my plan. I think billionaires should pay their fair share. We should tax billionaires their wealth and the loopholes that big corporations use to get out of paying their taxes. We should close them. And then you should do— stop going to dumbass wars.

Okay. So MAGA Republicans who are advising Donald Trump are very nervous. What would you be nervous about?

And now we know one of the leaders of the UAE has an additional 49% stake of the World Liberty Financial Bank, which just got an exemption. So you can now operate as a bank. That's in addition to the hundreds of millions of dollars that were given by the UAE to the Trump Company, in addition to the crypto, in addition to all— most, most people right now really can't even afford groceries and they've had their healthcare ripped away. And you do crap like Lake America protected by Donald Duck. It's not funny. It's not funny.

And Canada's our ally. This behavior's just sick.

And then as I reported yesterday morning, House GOPers in private meeting are continuing to say Trump is exhausting our voters. We're not helping ourselves today when we decide to rename Lake Ontario, Lake America. Bulwark got the scoop at Oklahoma State University where a MAGA Republican Congresswoman Stephanie Bice, she was speaking with a group of students and others at the university. And she said, the challenge that we have is that we have to get over the narrative that I don't like this guy. So I'm going to vote for the Democrat because I'm telling you right now, I'm hearing it already. And what happens is this'll have an impact on me. Because 2 things will either happen. They're going to vote for the Democrat and they may split the ticket and vote for me and a few others. Or this is my bigger fear right now. People don't go to vote. That's what they're saying about their MAGA Republican base right now when everything's going on. But according to MAGA Mike Johnson, we are now quite literally locked into a contest to determine whether we're going to keep our republic because he says, Despite the fact that MAGAs have controlled the House, the Senate, the executive branch, which they literally destroyed the White House, like actually demolished it, and the court, the Supreme Court, they said that Democrats are the ones who pose an existential threat.

Really?

Because the last time I checked, you also now have increased the debt over $40 trillion. What about Doge? Weren't we going to get dividend checks? Weren't we going to get rebate checks? You made us a lot of promises. But guess what? I guess like Donald Trump's whole life where he bankrupted this casino, that casino, this thing, that thing, I guess it's all one giant fraud because y'all are just a bunch of con artists. And frankly, you're a bunch of communist con artists too. And you have a deranged form of communism that also benefits only 2 interests, Donald Trump and foreign countries, apparently. Okay. That you need to actually build refining capacities for it. Uh, that there actually is no written deal.
