Donald Trump has been panicking all morning. He is having a disastrous weekend. He is lying now and saying that the United States is sending warships along with many other nations in order to stop Iran from continuing to block the Strait of Hormuz. This is likely news to these many other nations who have not made such a commitment. In fact, they are furious at the United States for launching this unlawful and disastrous invasion of Iran that has now embroiled the entire world in a war. You can see the panic oozing through Donald Trump's meltdown post this morning. Let me just show you what he is posting. Donald Trump writes, many countries, especially those who are affected by Iran's attempted closure of the Hormuz Strait, will be sending warships in conjunction with the United States of America to keep the strait open and safe. So pause there. So we're sending the Navy into the strait of Hormuz, Donald? Or are you just making that up? You're just making that up. And now you're saying that all these other nations will be joining our Navy and going into the Strait of Hormuz. They're not doing that. So when they read your messages, you just look utterly pathetic.
Now, this may work to your dwindling MAGA base here in the United States. But when you post things like this, it just makes the United States look so utterly weak just like you. Trump goes on to write, we have already destroyed 100% of Iran's military capability, but it's easy for them to send a drone or to drop a mine or deliver a close-range missile somewhere along or in this waterway, no matter how badly defeated they are. Okay. They have not been badly defeated. Their military capabilities have not been 100% destroyed. How do we know that? Because we see their attacks on the surrounding Arab nations where there are United States interests day in and day out. I'll get to more of that in a moment. Donald Trump then goes on to say in this post, hopefully China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others that are affected by this artificial constraint will send ships to the area so that the Hormuz Strait will no longer be a threat by a nation that has been totally decapitated. They have not been totally decapitated. They had a relatively smooth transfer of power to the new Ayatollah Mojtaba.
We saw all of their top leadership marching in a parade at the end of last week. They've never actually been rallying, you know, more closer together than they are right now based on the actions by you and Netanyahu. You've turned any possible support for the United States away right now. And you also don't even understand, like, the way world alliances work? The fact that you're lumping together China and Japan and South Korea and France and the UK and others— what, this is going to be your coalition? You think this makes sense? You do realize that in Iran right now, they are letting Chinese ships go through the Strait of Hormuz because they are allied together, the same way Russia is allied with Iran, and Iran is getting material support from Russia and likely China in this war against against the United States and against Israel. Don't you see that that's what's happening? Are you too dense? Or are you just a liar about everything? Or probably just both here. Then Donald Trump goes on to continue to say, in the meantime, the United States will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline and continually shooting Iranian boats and ships out of the water.
One way or the other, we will soon get the Hormuz Strait open, safe and free. Don't you think you should have planned this, I don't know, before your unlawful invasion of Iran? And then when you use language like, we're going to bomb the hell out of the shoreline, don't you realize that it's language like that and it's conduct like that that turns the entire world against you, that makes you lose any type of public support you potentially can have? Don't you see that that's what rallies the Iranian people around the current Islamic Republic regime, because they're thinking either we're going this direction, you know, with the current Islamic Republic and with Iran as is, or we're going with the Epstein class. We're going with the guy covering up child sex trafficking who's talking about obliterating us and blowing us up to hell. And we've seen what Israel did in Gaza. We see what they're doing in Lebanon. We see what they're doing, uh, right now. We see what the United States— and why would we want to go with you? Don't you see that That's actually what's happening. And you're solidifying the Islamic Republic regime right now, when in war, you probably want to try to make friends, not enemies, and build support and coalitions.
You don't get that, do you, Donald? You take a look what's happening right now, videos being released as Donald Trump is posting that videos are being released showing large black smoke plumes rising from attacks carried out by Iran's unmanned aerial vehicles on oil facilities at the Fujairah port in the United Arab Emirates. Let's take a look. This is like their biggest, uh, oil, uh, port right here. Um, you can see right here, the local government confirms that Iranian drones targeted the area, but they say that it was, uh, damaged from falling debris. That's, that's the new thing that all these Arab nations are saying when their buildings get blown up by the Shahed drones. They go, it wasn't the drone, it was the falling debris. They're calling the drones the falling debris, but you see what's going on right there. Oh, and then Donald Trump posts the following as well. Yet again, an intentionally misleading headline by fake news media about 5 tanker planes that were supposedly struck down at an airport in Saudi Arabia and have no further use. In actuality, the base was hit a few days ago, but the planes were not struck or destroyed.
4 or 5 had virtually no damage. They're already back in service. One had slightly more damage but will be in the air shortly. Just pause there. One, you're likely lying. Two, if you're not, why are you giving all of these operational details out there? Why are you posting all of these images? And this is a war. You are giving the other side intelligence. Why would you do that? Even if what you're saying is accurate, why would you say these things? Then he goes on to say one had slightly more damage, none were destroyed, but the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal and other low-life papers and media actually want us to lose the war. And the Wall Street Journal in particular wants us to lose the war. Their terrible reporting is the exact opposite of actual facts. They are truly sick and demented people that have no idea the damage they cause the United States of America. Fortunately, as proven by our great conclusive election in 2024, the people understand what is happening. Okay, this is the most— you want to talk about demented people? Put up a mirror to yourself. Everything that Donald Trump says is projection and confession.
As you know, the Wall Street Journal reported how these 5 US tankers were struck and damaged on the grounds at the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia during an Iranian ballistic missile strike. But hey, Donald, you know what you should probably be posting about as well? How those same types of planes, the KC-135, right, that was the plane that that went down as well over western Iraq, the KC-135, where 6 crew members were killed. And it took you almost, what, a day and a half before admitting that that's what actually took place to the American people, when anyone knows the way a— well, you didn't admit it, it was CENTCOM that admitted. You haven't even addressed it yet. But everybody who knows the KC-135 Stratotankers know they don't have ejection methods, they don't have parachutes. If those things go down, they're refueling planes. So You know, we all knew what the likely outcome was, but CENTCOM still wanted to cover it up. And I still think they're covering up how that plane fell from the sky in general. They're saying it wasn't friendly fire, wasn't hostile fire. So what happened? It just crashed on its own.
It's more cover-up from CENTCOM. And Donald Trump isn't even addressing what's happening, not even addressing the casualties. No posts about that. Instead, he's making fake posts about countries joining us in the Strait of Hormuz. Just more lies in this, as we learn that 5,000 Marine Expeditionary Forces are coming in from Japan. This Marine Expeditionary Unit is usually the precursor to a ground invasion. Donald Trump said he bombed the Karg Island in the northern Persian Gulf and There's speculation, is there going to be a ground invasion there? Is Donald Trump getting lured into this kind of ground war in Iran, which would be utterly disastrous right now? What we do know is this war is expanding as well. Um, and it's expanding its fronts. And so, you know, you have different kind of, uh, points of where this war is taking place, obviously in the Middle East, and obviously it's from Russia's invasion of Ukraine at all, which took place, you know, several years ago back from 2022, right? And so you have, um, right now Iran's kind of top national security advisor to their parliament, a guy by the name of Ebrahim Azizi, and he writes, by providing drone support to the Israeli regime, failed Ukraine has effectively become involved in the war and under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter has turned its entire territory into a legitimate target of Iran.
Well, Iran was already targeting Ukraine. Those Shahed drones were being given to Putin over the past 4 years to attack Ukraine. Ukraine has developed a real expertise in not just kind of the anti-drone interceptors, you have these drones that intercept drones, but also the wherewithal of how to identify and locate these drones, how to use new satellite systems. So Ukraine's been dealing with Iran and Shahed drones for a very long time. And Trump refused to listen to Zelensky's warnings because Donald Trump believes that he's allied with Vladimir Putin while Putin's trying to destroy the United States of America. But you see right now with Iran publicly basically saying under Article 51, they're basically declaring war formally on Ukraine right now. I think that is a big, big deal in the sense of, of kind of formally saying that this war now is in the Middle East. End the war in Russia's invasion of Ukraine, what's going on there are now basically, you know, completely united. We knew this, we've been saying this for a long time. But now it's kind of formalized with what Iran's saying under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. Now, and by the way, Zelensky is trying to help the United States and Trump, and Trump's like, we don't need your drones, we don't need what you're doing.
You know, also in terms of the expansion of this war, you have North Korea right now firing around 10 ballistic missiles earlier today toward the Sea of Japan. It's what South Korea is saying. And North Korea is intensifying, uh, its, uh, furtive posture, its aggressive posture right now after the United States removed its THAAD and Patriot systems from South Korea. Because as Trump was warned, the United States is running out of munitions, uh, in the Middle East. And so it needs these THAAD systems because Iran's been striking them in the Middle East. And so we basically took the THAAD and Patriot systems promised that were given to South Korea, moved them to the Middle East. And we also are now refusing to help Taiwan with the $13 billion in military support and equipment that was congressionally delegated to them as well. Also yesterday, smoke was seen rising out of the US embassy compound in Baghdad, Iraq. You know, it looked like some of the satellite systems on the top of the US embassy that were hit by Iranian drones. And it looked pretty bad yesterday. Once again, the kind of common line that we've been getting right now from the Arab nations and from the United States is, oh, it wasn't a drone strike, it was actually the debris from the interceptors, or it was debris.
Now, I mean, the drone hit the US embassy in Baghdad last night. It was in a heavily fortified area. And then just take a look at this footage showing the extensive damage in Lebanon, in Beirut's southern suburbs. Israel's just like leveled this thing. You know, the, you know, Israel says it's going after Hezbollah, but you know, they're also attacking these suburban areas and demolishing, just demolishing. And Israel says that it will now be launching, or it's expected to be launching, a full-fledged ground invasion of southern Lebanon. And so that should be expected soon as well. So again, I mean, you have this war involving the entire world right now spreading. Call it what you want, but you have a war of the entire world that's spreading. And meanwhile, on the United States side, I mean, you have people like, you know, Pete Hegseth, the Defense Secretary, saying things like, the only thing prohibiting transit in Hormuz right now is Iran is shooting the ships. Otherwise it's open. Yeah. So it's closed. That's the point, genius. Play this clip.
Alexandra Ingersoll, One America News. Can you tell us a little bit more about the Strait of Hormuz and when it might be fully operational again? And how do we ensure our objective of denying Iran a nuclear weapon if they continue to align with our adversaries?
So I'll take it and chime in, Mr. Chairman, if you'd like at all. I want to emphasize what the chairman said about that. The only thing prohibiting transit in the straits right now is Iran shooting at shipping. It is open for transit should Iran not do that. Now, there's a reason why we chose as one of our primary objectives to destroy the Navy. We understood the ability to interdict shipping is something Iran has done for 40 years. It's key terrain. They've used it as leverage. The world is seeing what they'll do to fight back in that context. And so we've heard them talk about taking various measures and we're planning for all of them. Plan for every option here. We're working with our interagency partners, and that's, that's not a strait we're going to allow to remain contested or with a lack of, of flow of, of commercial goods. So we're, we're aware of that. We're laser-focused on our military objectives, but also want to make sure our partners across this government understand we're working with you to make sure that energy flows. And that's, that's an important part. And the second question was on the nuclear capability.
As we said from the beginning, their strategy shifted just from defense of their nuclear facilities to a conventional umbrella of so so many missiles that no one would challenge their ability to— their, uh, the opportunity to defeat their missile, their nuclear capabilities. And it was growing by the day. So with Iran at its weakest moment, taking— going at that ballistic missile capability creates an opportunity to ensure at any point in time that Iran give up their nuclear capabilities, or if need be, you prevent them from doing it, as the president has done once already with Operation Midnight Hammer, uh, obliterating laid in those capabilities. So the conventional side is a huge part of getting at denying nuclear capabilities. If you have anything you want to add.
What about Donald Trump's old defense secretary, Mark Esper? What did he have to say? Here's what Mark Esper, Donald Trump's former defense secretary, said. Play this clip. Who do you think has more endurance?
Frankly, I think the Iranians do. I think they have survived, or they, I believe, I'm speculating that they probably think they survived the brunt of U.S. and Israeli attacks in these first 2 weeks, and they've managed to effect a transition of power. Their institutions remain largely intact. There is little fracturing that we can see. Maybe there's more behind the scenes, but little fracturing within those institutions. And we haven't yet seen the Iranian people come out on the street to protest yet. On our side, obviously, we see prices going up the pump. We see a lot of concern about the economic pressures. What will this mean? The White House, as it looks through a political lens at times with regard to the midterm elections. So, and we see President Trump sending different messages about what you know.
Now, with all of this going on as well, you have what's Donald Trump saying? Donald Trump saying the war will end when I feel it in my bones. Here, play this clip.
I'm doing something about it. And I had to take an excursion. We had the greatest economy in history. We do. We still do. Oh, this will bounce right back when it's over. And I don't think it's going to be long. When it's over, this is going to bounce right back so fast. When are you going to know when it's over? When I feel it. Okay. Feel it in my bones. Will you ask anybody in particular? Would that be some of these, a joint decision? I deal with people. I have great people.
Yeah. When I feel it in my bones. What does that even mean? That's not an objective. That's not, that's not strategy. And your bones? Have gone bankrupt before many a time. You've had, you have bankrupt bones, Donald. And then here, Donald Trump on the tarmac yesterday in Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, um, said, oh, everyone's saying Iran's doing good. No, they're not. No, they're not. They're doing as bad as you can. Well, it doesn't seem that way. It does certainly. It seems that you are doing as bad as you can. And it seems that they've exceeded any expectation expectations, which actually should have been known what those expectations should— it shouldn't have exceeded expectations because there was a lot of warnings on what was happening. But here's what Trump says, that, uh, oh, Iran's doing wonderful. No, they're not. They're doing bad. We're doing good. Okay. Okay, Donald. Sure. Here, play this clip.
Do you speak with Netanyahu?
I speak to him a lot.
How long now do you think the war is likely to last?
I can't tell you that. I mean, I have my own idea, but what good does it do? It'll be as long as it's necessary. They've been decimated. The country's— their country's in bad shape. The whole thing is collapsing. You read some of the fake news, it's like, oh, they're doing wonderfully. They're not doing wonderfully. They're doing the opposite. They're doing as bad as you can have. I would say this. I won't give you a time, but we're way ahead of schedule.
